- 0:15Speaker 3: our favorite events. But he loved it so.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Much as well.
- 0:18Speaker 3: He wanted to come back and do another one. Before
- 0:20Speaker 3: he is in town with Coetzee at Fisher's Event Center.
- 0:23Speaker 3: You can hang out with him and us and our
- 0:25Speaker 3: friends from Jack Daniels.

- 0:33Speaker 1: Well, Patrick. Patrick won $ 1, 500. Yeah, nice.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Of new country cash yesterday. His daughter's getting married this weekend.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 0:44Speaker 2: Does his daughter get a super fat check? His dad's like,
- 0:50Speaker 2: I already paid for enough stuff, man.
- 0:51Speaker 1: It's going to go to cover up.
- 0:53Speaker 2: What I've already paid for, but really excited for Patrick
- 0:55Speaker 2: and his whole family.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And we've got another chance for money today. 850.
- 1:00Speaker 2: We'll tell you what time you can $ 500 of new

- 1:28Speaker 5: I mean.
- 1:29Speaker 2: If you would have told me like a month ago,
- 1:31Speaker 2: it would be September 15th that, you know, it's going
- 1:33Speaker 2: to come fast. So shout out to Dan who joined
- 1:36Speaker 2: us on the show on Friday for Friday friends.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You were out.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I had Dan Shea. We couldn't get them. Something was
- 1:42Speaker 2: going on with the phones. We couldn't get Chan the phone.
- 1:44Speaker 2: So Dan and I joke that we are going to
- 1:46Speaker 2: start our own duo.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Oh, okay. That's exciting.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Get out there and do things. We couldn't agree though
- 1:51Speaker 2: on whose name would go first. You know, we're Annie
- 1:53Speaker 2: and Cole. He's Dan and Shea.
- 1:55Speaker 4: And so why are you not just combining your names
- 1:57Speaker 4: into Danny?
- 1:59Speaker 1: This is why, you know, you know, so it didn't
- 2:02Speaker 1: work out. It didn't work out.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Dan and Shay still sticking together. And they had an
- 2:06Speaker 2: incredible show at Roof on Friday. And if you were
- 2:09Speaker 2: there and you want to share any of those stories,
- 2:11Speaker 2: we're always here to listen.
- 2:14Speaker 5: 317-663-9797.
- 2:15Speaker 1: That's our phone number.
- 2:16Speaker 5: They did what?
- 2:19Speaker 4: I never know how to say this brand. Is it
- 2:22Speaker 4: the candy corn people? Is it? Brax?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Brax?
- 2:26Speaker 4: B-R-A-C-H? It's garbage.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I think you're from Garbage.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Well, do you at least like, okay, you don't like coffee,
- 2:35Speaker 4: but you like the smell of coffee, right?
- 2:36Speaker 1: I love the smell of coffee.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Do you at least like the smell of candy corn?
- 2:41Speaker 5: No.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Okay, well.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Smells like wax.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Sad news for you. They have a perfume coming out
- 2:45Speaker 4: this fall.
- 2:46Speaker 3: It is called Oat and Candy Corn, and it's available
- 2:49Speaker 3: for $ 22 at candycornseason.com.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I'm about to type this in once we get off here,
- 2:56Speaker 2: and I want to know if there's more stuff at candycornseason.com.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Like, what can I go all in on this year?
- 3:03Speaker 2: It's Annie and Cole 97.1 Hank FM. We have your
- 3:10Speaker 2: chance to go see some soccer this weekend in the 11.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Pups at the pitch.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I like this. Name That Pup is our game this morning.
- 3:19Speaker 4: You're going to text your answer to us at 317-663-9797. Fred, Daphne, Velma,
- 3:27Speaker 4: and Shaggy, along with the Great Dane, the pop in

- 3:42Speaker 4: you name that pup this morning? Text your answer to us.
- 3:47Speaker 2: 317-663-9797.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Solving crime in the mystery machine with Fred, Daphne, Velma,
- 3:51Speaker 4: and Shaggy as well. Been together since 1969. Name that
- 3:55Speaker 4: pup this morning for a chance at Indy 11 tickets.
- 3:58Speaker 2: If you've always wanted to go to an Indy 11 match,
- 4:00Speaker 2: you're like.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I don't.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I don't know what it's all about. I just want
- 4:03Speaker 1: to check it out. Well, good news.
- 4:05Speaker 2: All this week, family four-pack of tickets up for grabs.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Indy 11 taking on Oakland Roots for Pups at the
- 4:10Speaker 2: Pitch on Sunday.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And we have your tickets now.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Solving mysteries in the Mystery Machine with Fred, Daphne, Velma,
- 4:18Speaker 4: and Shaggy.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Can you name that pup this morning? He is a
- 4:21Speaker 3: great Dane. He's been working since 1969. We are looking
- 4:25Speaker 3: for Scooby. Scooby-Doo is our correct answer. Do you have
- 4:32Speaker 3: a favorite version of Scooby-Doo? Because as I was scrolling through.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Here, there are.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So many?
- 4:36Speaker 5: A lot.
- 4:38Speaker 4: A lot of Scooby-Doos. Is there still a Scooby-Doo on?
- 4:41Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm sure they're due to make a new one soon.
- 4:45Speaker 4: They are. Or maybe like another... Well, they tried Velma
- 4:48Speaker 4: for a little bit there.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Uh-huh. Yeah. I feel like I really liked the weird
- 4:53Speaker 4: live-action ones. Yeah. Yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I'm just like, what's going on here? I don't know.
- 4:58Speaker 1: We got these all this week. If you want to
- 4:59Speaker 1: buy your tickets, indy11. com for details. Danny and Cole, 97.1
- 5:04Speaker 1: Hank FM.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Literally right as we were about to go on the air, Cole,
- 5:07Speaker 2: you said, I got a list of Emmy Award winners
- 5:09Speaker 2: from last night.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I said, what?
- 5:11Speaker 4: Yeah. You know what, though?
- 5:15Speaker 3: I had it on for about a second last night,
- 5:17Speaker 3: right before football started. We turned on the TV. That
- 5:21Speaker 3: was the channel that was already on. And Amy Poehler
- 5:23Speaker 3: was taking the stage. I'm like, Oh, I'll sit and
- 5:25Speaker 3: hang out for this for a second. Also, by the way,
- 5:29Speaker 3: her podcast I've recently been listening to is fantastic.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Love it.
- 5:31Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 5:32Speaker 1: It's called Good Hang or something like that.
- 5:34Speaker 4: It's so good. And so I watched it for, I
- 5:37Speaker 4: don't know, a minute or two, and then I switched
- 5:39Speaker 4: over to football.
- 5:41Speaker 3: But as I'm scrolling through the winners, I didn't watch
- 5:44Speaker 3: that show or that one or that one or that one.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I did watch Pluribus.
- 5:48Speaker 1: What are some of the other ones you're saying you
- 5:50Speaker 1: didn't watch? Because we watched everything. Okay, I love The Pit.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Widow's Bay.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I tried watching that. I don't get the humor. But
- 5:56Speaker 1: that dude.
- 5:57Speaker 4: They won a lot.
- 5:58Speaker 1: That dude, I feel I should put some respect on
- 6:00Speaker 1: his name. It's like, what is it? Like Matthew or
- 6:02Speaker 1: is it Matthew Wright? I don't know. His last name
- 6:05Speaker 1: is a little like.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Reese.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Reese.
- 6:06Speaker 4: R-H-Y-S.
- 6:08Speaker 2: He won double because he won for Widow's Bay. And
- 6:11Speaker 2: then he won for that one with Claire.
- 6:13Speaker 4: The Beast in Me.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yeah. which was a crazy show too. So he doubled up.
- 6:17Speaker 2: He won like, I don't know what categories are in.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Cause I never get some shows that get put in
- 6:22Speaker 2: the comedy category.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I'm like, that wasn't a comedy to me.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Like Widow's Bay.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And like, how did that, how did that go into that?
- 6:29Speaker 2: It was just looking for a category to fit into.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Isn't the bear typically a comedy?
- 6:35Speaker 2: And I wouldn't describe that one as a comedy either.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Everyone was buzzing about Taylor Swift making an appearance though.
- 6:41Speaker 1: She did a pre-taped SUV.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Yeah, because I was like, she's at the game.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 4: She was on both of my channels.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So I thought that was kind of funny.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm getting ready to post that clip on our website,
- 6:51Speaker 2: Hank FM dot com. But you said you had a
- 6:53Speaker 2: list of TV shows that were canceled that people are
- 6:56Speaker 2: like mad about.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Yes, they like lift. They ended on cliffhangers and they
- 7:01Speaker 4: never came back.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Because I've got one recently that just happened. They just
- 7:06Speaker 2: announced would not be coming back for new seasons.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Got to be pretty upset.
- 7:09Speaker 2: So I want to see what makes that list coming up.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Two songs away. It's Annie and Cole, 97.1 Hank FM.
- 7:16Speaker 5: So shocking, it'll make your jaw drop. He clicked on
- 7:20Speaker 5: it so you don't have to. It's Clickbait Cole on
- 7:24Speaker 5: Hank FM.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I personally only watched a couple of these, but... I
- 7:29Speaker 3: bet if you were a fan of this show, you
- 7:30Speaker 3: would be really frustrated. I've got a list of TV
- 7:33Speaker 3: shows that got canceled on cliffhangers that still frustrate people
- 7:37Speaker 3: to this day. They include Pushing Daisies, Mindhunter, Santa Clarita Diet,
- 7:43Speaker 3: Quantum Leap, The Last Man on Earth, which was the
- 7:47Speaker 3: one that I watched. I have Dead Like Me.
- 7:51Speaker 4: My name is Earl.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Alf.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yeah. We're still holding up on Alf, huh? That's been
- 7:57Speaker 1: a little while ago.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Still struggling with Alf.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I don't know if it... I don't think it was.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Much of a cliffhanger, but they just Netflix does this
- 8:08Speaker 2: a lot with their shows. They're like, oh yeah, get
- 8:10Speaker 2: really into this. We'll drop all of our episodes at once.
- 8:12Speaker 2: You'll really like the show. And they'll be like, wait
- 8:14Speaker 2: three years for another season. That season will come out
- 8:17Speaker 2: and they'll be like, sorry, we don't want this anymore.
- 8:18Speaker 2: And you're like, I just invested like four years of
- 8:21Speaker 2: my life into this show, got two seasons, and you
- 8:24Speaker 2: left me on a cliffhanger. The latest one was they
- 8:26Speaker 2: just announced that they are not bringing back Ransom Canyon,
- 8:30Speaker 2: which was Not, I mean, I don't want to call
- 8:32Speaker 2: it a great.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Show, but it was good enough for me to watch
- 8:34Speaker 1: because I'm looking at Josh Duhamel.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Minka Kelly in there. She ain't bad looking herself either.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And you're just like, okay, I'm falling down this weird cowboy,
- 8:41Speaker 2: like rabbit hole again. I've got one that we both
- 8:44Speaker 2: watched recently, which is not suitable for work.
- 8:48Speaker 1: So mad. That show was so good.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I don't understand why that show didn't get picked up
- 8:54Speaker 2: for another season. And then I started, everyone's like, well,
- 8:57Speaker 2: if you like not suitable for work, watch adults. Yeah.
- 9:00Speaker 2: And I thought that the other one was a cuter show.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Also, that one did kind of end on a cliffhanger.
- 9:07Speaker 4: You had two of the characters.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Getting together in the end and kind of making a
- 9:11Speaker 3: love triangle thing.
- 9:12Speaker 4: And then, yeah, it got canceled. Not coming back. Text
- 9:15Speaker 4: or give us a call. 317- 97-97.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Annie and Cole on Hank FM.
- 9:22Speaker 2: What store would your spouse say you spent too much
- 9:25Speaker 2: money in? That was the question that completely wrecked everything
- 9:29Speaker 2: during the Newlywood game for my husband Rob and.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I the other day that we were playing because I.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I dislike this store so much, but it was so
- 9:39Speaker 2: funny because his answer was your exact same answer. When
- 9:43Speaker 2: I came in huffing and puffing about it, I was like, yeah,
- 9:46Speaker 2: what store would you say I spend too much money on?
- 9:49Speaker 4: Kohl's. Oh, that was his answer to it.
- 9:53Speaker 2: He's like, you're always at Kohl's, He's like, not by choice.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I'm part of a pyramid scheme known as Kohl's cash.
- 10:01Speaker 4: I can't get out.
- 10:02Speaker 1: And I can't get out of it.
- 10:03Speaker 2: And then every Christmas, my mother-in-law, Rob's mom, buys me
- 10:07Speaker 2: a Kohl's gift card.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I'm like, is that why?
- 10:10Speaker 2: She keeps getting me Kohl's gift cards. You keep telling
- 10:12Speaker 2: her that I want Kohl's gift cards. Like, well, you're
- 10:14Speaker 2: there all the time.
- 10:15Speaker 5: I don't.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I am in and I can't get out.
- 10:18Speaker 4: OK, mice. Can I take a second guess? OK, I
- 10:22Speaker 4: would guess Sierra like the TJ Maxx outdoor store.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That was my answer. TJ Maxx slash Sierra is what
- 10:29Speaker 2: I said. And he said, oh, yeah, that's a good one.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I am like known as this Kohl's. I'm like, like
- 10:36Speaker 2: the commercial, I'm known as the Kohl's lady and I
- 10:38Speaker 2: don't even want to be the Kohl's lady.
- 10:41Speaker 1: But yeah, we got zero questions, right? Zero questions, right?
- 10:45Speaker 1: On the newlywed game.
- 10:46Speaker 2: So much so that after the event, listeners came up
- 10:49Speaker 2: and they were like, you guys going to be okay
- 10:50Speaker 2: on the ride home?
- 10:51Speaker 1: Like kind of expected this.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I think so. The answer for my wife would probably
- 10:57Speaker 4: be Target. I think that will be a popular answer.
- 10:59Speaker 4: I think if she were to answer it for me,
- 11:01Speaker 4: she would say any professional sports team's pro shop.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I mean, look at what you're wearing right now.
- 11:08Speaker 4: And you have an IU shirt on.
- 11:09Speaker 1: And a hat.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 4: A brewery shop is a good one, too.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Really, any merch stand is what you're hitting up. What
- 11:18Speaker 2: would your spell say you spend too much money? Like,
- 11:20Speaker 2: what store would be on that list?
- 11:22Speaker 5: Annie and Cole.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Be a part of the show.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Text or give us a call. 317-663-9797.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Found out over the weekend that after 13 years of marriage,
- 11:32Speaker 2: my husband Rob and I know nothing about each other.
- 11:35Speaker 2: We did the newlywed game, got zero answers correct.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I also.
- 11:39Speaker 3: I didn't ask... my wife this question, I just guess
- 11:43Speaker 3: what I thought. Well, that's the point of the game.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Hold on. I want to text her and I want
- 11:47Speaker 4: to see if I can find out what she would say.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I will say that during this game, Mindy, who does
- 11:51Speaker 2: Mindy to Midnight here, was also part of it. Her
- 11:53Speaker 2: and her husband, Bob, did slightly better than my husband
- 11:57Speaker 2: Rob and I did.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Her answer was Starbucks. She spends too much money at
- 12:03Speaker 1: Starbucks and Bob got that one correct. So there's a
- 12:06Speaker 1: Starbucks problem in that house.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Crystal on our Facebook page said Seven Brew. So another
- 12:11Speaker 2: version of just getting too much. This one from Tracy
- 12:15Speaker 2: is so relatable, though. It says, any store I go
- 12:17Speaker 2: to is too much. She came to Kroger with me.
- 12:19Speaker 2: It was like, it's almost $ 4 for a pack of cheese.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Bread costs that much.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm like, pipe down. Go wait in the car. Things
- 12:26Speaker 1: are expensive, sir.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Go wait in the car.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That's me. Anytime I go to a store, I'm like,
- 12:29Speaker 1: why does it cost that much? I follow.
- 12:32Speaker 5: I like.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I share.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Andy and Cole on Hank FM.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I thought about both of us when I read this
- 12:39Speaker 3: in a new report. Reservations for one are becoming more common.
- 12:44Speaker 3: You and I have continued to say for a long
- 12:47Speaker 3: time that we both love doing things by ourself.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Yes.
- 12:51Speaker 4: I think it's great.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I think for a long time there's been a stigma
- 12:54Speaker 2: that if you're out by yourself, you're somehow sad, right?
- 12:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Like you're sad that you have no one with you.
- 12:59Speaker 2: No.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Let me tell you how lovely it is. To do
- 13:02Speaker 1: anything you want.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Whatever you want.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Without anyone else there.
- 13:06Speaker 4: You don't have to tell anyone what you're doing or
- 13:08Speaker 4: where you're going. Just go. Just order that thing that
- 13:10Speaker 4: you want.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I will say it does make some people uncomfortable because, again,
- 13:14Speaker 2: people assume you're sad or you're lonely. Because I was
- 13:18Speaker 2: in Philly and I made a reservation to go to
- 13:21Speaker 2: this Italian restaurant.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I walked in. I made a reservation for one. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: get there.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, I have a reservation for one. It's like, oh,
- 13:27Speaker 2: is anyone joining you? No, just a reservation for me. Oh, okay.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Okay, puts the menu back, walks me to my table.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I sit down. Oh, will someone be joining you? No,
- 13:36Speaker 1: just me.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Oh. Isn't that when it gets a little weird, though?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 13:41Speaker 4: That's when it gets weird. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had
- 13:43Speaker 4: any problems with it.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Me neither.
- 13:44Speaker 1: That food was really good, too, and I'd love to
- 13:46Speaker 1: share it with anyone.
- 13:48Speaker 5: Annie and Cole, weekday mornings 6 to 10 on 97.1
- 13:50Speaker 5: Hank FM.
