- 0:02Speaker 1: Is righty big ninety eight point seven. It's gave an
- 0:04Speaker 1: Angie and Sonny and sixty four today and did you
- 0:08Speaker 1: see this, Angie. Parents supposedly experience fifty milestones when they
- 0:14Speaker 1: have a baby in their first year. Fifty yeah, And
- 0:18Speaker 1: then I feel like, so, I don't have kids, so
- 0:20Speaker 1: I don't know. It sounds like a lot, but there's
- 0:22Speaker 1: so many little things that you don't even probably think
- 0:25Speaker 1: about that you do remember.
- 0:26Speaker 2: That is true, because I mean, it's the first time
- 0:29Speaker 2: they've ever been alive. So I feel like a lot
- 0:31Speaker 2: of things are a milestone. And maybe we just forget
- 0:34Speaker 2: because we're so tired, right, get and sleep when you
- 0:38Speaker 2: have a baby. So whatever happens in that first year,
- 0:40Speaker 2: it is hard to keep track of. I will say
- 0:42Speaker 2: that for me, I remember very clearly with each of
- 0:46Speaker 2: my kids. I have two boys, when they got their.
- 0:49Speaker 3: First tooth, oh sure, yeah.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Yes, mostly because they were miserable while it was trying
- 0:54Speaker 2: to poke through teeving is awful.
- 0:56Speaker 4: But then once they have the one little tooth, oh
- 0:59Speaker 4: my god, gosh, it's just the cutest thing you've ever seen.
- 1:03Speaker 4: They're just so gummy.
- 1:04Speaker 2: And then it's like, no, I'm a little tooth and
- 1:06Speaker 2: I'm ready to try and eat things and it's just
- 1:09Speaker 2: so adorable. So that's the milestone I remember the most.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're a parent, let us know what was
- 1:16Speaker 1: your favorite milestone or maybe most memorable? You can call
- 1:18Speaker 1: us at seven oh one two, eight zero one nine
- 1:22Speaker 1: eight seven. It's kind of funny, I think, why do
- 1:24Speaker 1: the milestones that always seem to be the loudest be
- 1:29Speaker 1: the most memorable or for example, you.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Know, like the first time something got stuck.
- 1:34Speaker 1: In their nose or oh my gosh, because everyone knows,
- 1:38Speaker 1: you know, like the first steps, the first words, right,
- 1:40Speaker 1: you know, everyone remembers that stuff.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Granted, I don't know. Do kids talk in their first year?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah, generally do yeah, and then walking, you know what,
- 1:49Speaker 2: walking is a big deal when they do it within
- 1:52Speaker 2: the first year, because like a lot of kids don't.
- 1:56Speaker 2: From my experience, sure don't walk within the first year.
- 1:59Speaker 4: When did you start walking?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Do you know?
- 2:01Speaker 4: Did your mama know?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I was pretty young? I was scooting around like eight
- 2:04Speaker 1: months old or something. Seven months old? Yeah, like walking, yeah, like.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Maneuvering around eight eight nine months or something.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Wow, look at too.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Well, that's kind of the family joke.
- 2:16Speaker 1: At Thanksgiving now is like, oh, Gabe's was always trying
- 2:19Speaker 1: to get on the run type thing.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Oh that's funny, So I was.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I was a pretty early walker. I guess.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I think a lot of milestones, like the first time,
- 2:28Speaker 2: Oh you know what, because I have boys, the first time,
- 2:30Speaker 2: the pee during a type or change, like pee on
- 2:34Speaker 2: their own heads on you.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you never forget that.
- 2:38Speaker 1: We do have Megan online. Meghan, what what's a milestone
- 2:42Speaker 1: you remember? What's like a favorite one?
- 2:44Speaker 5: The first real laugh, that pure, joyful belly giggle just
- 2:48Speaker 5: melts you.
- 2:50Speaker 2: A close second would be when they reached for you
- 2:52Speaker 2: on purpose, like you're their whole world.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Oh, oh my gosh.
- 2:55Speaker 4: My kids never reached for me. They always preferred their dad.
- 2:58Speaker 2: But the laughing, Yes, the first time your kid really laughs,
- 3:02Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, it's Magicalney and.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Sixty four It's big ninety eight point seven with Gabe
- 3:16Speaker 1: and Angie.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Michelle Obama finally explained why she skipped the inauguration of
- 3:22Speaker 2: Donald Trump, and she went on her podcast and said,
- 3:26Speaker 2: you know, regardless of how you feel politically for her,
- 3:29Speaker 2: she said that like it just it didn't align with
- 3:31Speaker 2: you know, what she felt.
- 3:32Speaker 4: She wanted to.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Do right, so she decided to skip it. But what
- 3:35Speaker 2: I thought was interesting is that she said she basically
- 3:39Speaker 2: tricked herself into not being able to attend by making
- 3:42Speaker 2: sure that she had nothing to wear, which I think
- 3:45Speaker 2: is the number one reason we cancel plans is when
- 3:47Speaker 2: we have nothing to.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Wear, at least for the ladies.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I think.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So she even had her staff, she told them like,
- 3:53Speaker 2: I don't want to. I don't want to accidentally be like, fine,
- 3:56Speaker 2: let me just go because it's something she didn't really
- 3:58Speaker 2: want to go to, right, So she said, don't even
- 4:00Speaker 2: have an outfit ready for me, so that even if I,
- 4:03Speaker 2: you know, try to change my mind. No, I'm not
- 4:06Speaker 2: going because I have nothing to wear. And it made
- 4:07Speaker 2: me think, I mean, there have been There was one
- 4:11Speaker 2: event that I skipped that was kind of a major
- 4:14Speaker 2: deal really and I didn't go because I felt blown
- 4:19Speaker 2: in and I didn't think that I would look good
- 4:22Speaker 2: and it was a close I know, I'm the worst.
- 4:26Speaker 2: A close friend of mine. It was her baby shower,
- 4:29Speaker 2: and I didn't go because I feel like if I went,
- 4:31Speaker 2: I was gonna also look like the baby shower was
- 4:34Speaker 2: for me because I was so bloated and she she
- 4:38Speaker 2: needed to be the only pregnant person there, so I
- 4:40Speaker 2: didn't go.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But then, well, it doesn't sound like this is a
- 4:43Speaker 1: very close friends around the block friend is not anymore.
- 4:46Speaker 4: No, I'm kidding, but this was like a few years ago, and.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Floated.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and I to be honest, like I pretended that
- 4:56Speaker 2: I had COVID. I'm such a monster, but COVID was
- 5:00Speaker 2: such a good excuse because you can't be around a prayer.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Listen, I'm a bad person, Gabe.
- 5:05Speaker 1: No, it's true. Do not lie to us. Have you
- 5:07Speaker 1: ever used COVID to get out of something?
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yeah? Have you? No?
- 5:11Speaker 4: Have you ever skipped a major event?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Wait?
- 5:14Speaker 4: Can we first the record?
- 5:15Speaker 2: By the way, she and I are still cool, and
- 5:17Speaker 2: I've gotten the baby a lot.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Of gifts and I'm good for you made up for it.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Yes, I made up for Okay, did anybody so you
- 5:23Speaker 2: haven't skipped a major event for anything?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Think of an event like that that I would have skipped.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I'm sure you know. It's so funny when events like
- 5:31Speaker 1: that come up in my life. Corey is the one
- 5:34Speaker 1: Everyone tells Corey about him, then no one tells me
- 5:36Speaker 1: because I don't ever remember the dates or the time.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Oh okay, so they go to the source, you know.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And then you just show up and then I sort
- 5:44Speaker 1: of just roll along and kind of complain about it
- 5:46Speaker 1: the whole car ride. You know, at least you show
- 5:49Speaker 1: all the way here to go to this in goodness.
- 5:52Speaker 1: But other than that, No, I don't think I've skipped
- 5:54Speaker 1: anything kind of like that. I know, I had my
- 5:56Speaker 1: older brother skip my college graduation. I think, I mean,
- 6:02Speaker 1: there's probably no good excuse for it, but he didn't.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I don't think he like lived necessarily super close at
- 6:07Speaker 1: the time.
- 6:07Speaker 3: But also, you know, were you mad? N I wasn't mad.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I was more just irritated because when he graduated, right,
- 6:15Speaker 1: I never had to I was at all of those
- 6:18Speaker 1: mom man, sure I was there and called me and
- 6:21Speaker 1: got me there and YadA, YadA, YadA, and then you know,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and there her middle child graduates.
- 6:26Speaker 3: You know, not weird.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Yes, you weren't. You weren't mad, you were disappointed.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't have a I don't have a good memory,
- 6:34Speaker 1: but you know what, I have a long memory, all right?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Is there an event that was kind of a big
- 6:43Speaker 1: deal that you skipped? Maybe you just didn't want to
- 6:46Speaker 1: go to the baby shower because you felt bloated. That's
- 6:50Speaker 1: just a funny sentence to say.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Today's Variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It is Gabe and Angie today also is going to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be just gorgeous Sonny and sixty four. I'm in Love
- 7:02Speaker 1: with the Sheep Shampoa magnenty, Ed Sheeran and Noah Khan
- 7:09Speaker 1: were spotted in a pub together and they actually performed
- 7:13Speaker 1: a little bit of some music for the fans.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Sets decided what a treat, how cool for those fans.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Imagine you're just like hanging out at the bar and
- 7:36Speaker 2: then two of the biggest artists are like, you know what,
- 7:39Speaker 2: We're just gonna stop in here and then play some
- 7:41Speaker 2: music for everyone. What this never happened?
- 7:44Speaker 1: You're just chilling me at the local seven oh one
- 7:46Speaker 1: in West Fargo, and all of a sudden, you know,
- 7:49Speaker 1: Taylor and Miley walk on in and started.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Doing some hits.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Would you imagine?
- 7:53Speaker 3: So cool?
- 7:53Speaker 1: That is never I've never experienced anything like that. If
- 7:57Speaker 1: you have, though, spotted a select in the wild is
- 8:01Speaker 1: what I would call it. Let us know it's seven
- 8:03Speaker 1: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven. Where'd
- 8:05Speaker 1: you see him. Did you take a flight with one
- 8:07Speaker 1: or did you run into him somewhere? That has never
- 8:09Speaker 1: happened to me, you know what, I was complaining just
- 8:12Speaker 1: a second ago. This never happens to me.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I don't see full on performances from artists I love,
- 8:17Speaker 2: just popping up at the bar I went to.
- 8:19Speaker 4: But I did see.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Usher in the wild really yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 2: So I was working at Calvin Klein uh back in Vegas,
- 8:28Speaker 2: and I was the manager, and so someone had said
- 8:32Speaker 2: that they saw him at the store next door, and
- 8:34Speaker 2: so I got on.
- 8:35Speaker 4: My little walk in and I was like, all right, everybody,
- 8:36Speaker 4: hold down the fort. Sorry, I have to go.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And I left, caught my employees, and I went next
- 8:42Speaker 2: door to catch a glimpse of Usher.
- 8:44Speaker 4: And let me tell you, hotter in person? Really yeah? Okay,
- 8:49Speaker 4: And I was surprised.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I always thought Usher was a good looking man, but
- 8:52Speaker 2: then in person, it was like.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't approach him. He you know, was kind
- 8:58Speaker 2: of flaked by. It could have been friends, could have
- 9:01Speaker 2: been security. Honestly, his whole entourage was hot. But that
- 9:05Speaker 2: was really cool to see Usher.
- 9:07Speaker 3: That is sick. Actually, I don't have anything like that, you.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Know, I've I've met like a couple of professional athletes before,
- 9:13Speaker 1: but there is something different about professional athlete and world
- 9:20Speaker 1: global superstar, you know what I'm saying. Like, Yeah, like
- 9:23Speaker 1: Cory Koski who used to play third base for the Twins,
- 9:26Speaker 1: very popular in the two thousands here in Minnesota, but
- 9:29Speaker 1: they don't know who he is in Europe right right,
- 9:31Speaker 1: So it's not the same as if you run into
- 9:34Speaker 1: an Ed Sheeran or you know, a Taylor Swift or whoever.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And so I'm just mad jealous that these fans just
- 9:40Speaker 1: chilling eating their burger out for family night at the
- 9:43Speaker 1: pub and then his Ed Sheeron and Noah Khan. So yeah,
- 9:48Speaker 1: let us know. Seven oh one, two zero one, nine
- 9:50Speaker 1: eight seven. What celebrity have you seen out in the wild?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Today's Riiety Big ninety eight point seven. It's Gabe and Angie,
- 9:58Speaker 1: Sonny and sixty for today. Well, we like to start
- 10:04Speaker 1: to show off on a positive note, and there's no
- 10:07Speaker 1: better time than right now to do that. We like
- 10:09Speaker 1: to start the show with little victories, just get us
- 10:12Speaker 1: in the right mindset for the day. Do you have
- 10:14Speaker 1: a little victory from this morning, yesterday, or at any
- 10:17Speaker 1: point in your life you want to share, Angie.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I have one from in the future. I have this
- 10:23Speaker 2: weekend to myself kid free.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Really, yes, I'm very excited.
- 10:29Speaker 2: The kid's dad is coming to town and so they're
- 10:32Speaker 2: going to spend the weekend with dad, and I'm going
- 10:34Speaker 2: to spend the weekend doing what.
- 10:35Speaker 4: I don't know the pressure, but I'm just excited.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I get to be alone, all right.
- 10:39Speaker 1: That's I mean, that is cool. It deserves a little
- 10:42Speaker 1: bit of their own me time from time to time.
- 10:44Speaker 4: I need a break, my guy, I need a.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Break right on.
- 10:47Speaker 1: My little victory is also kind of in the future.
- 10:50Speaker 1: It is for tomorrow. I am going to get fitted
- 10:52Speaker 1: for a suit, oh for a wedding. I am in
- 10:58Speaker 1: and a bunch of my buddies who are also when it.
- 11:00Speaker 1: We're all gonna meet up and kind of go do
- 11:01Speaker 1: it together and then most likely watch the wild playoff
- 11:04Speaker 1: game at three o'clock. So I'm really excited for that.
- 11:07Speaker 1: A it's always kind of being in a wedding is fun.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It can be a bit stressful, it can be a
- 11:12Speaker 1: bit expensive, but generally it's pretty fun and a cool experience.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And I just I'm happy I get to do another one.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And so I get to kind of do the initial
- 11:20Speaker 1: start of that with my boys.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Another one, are you just always a grooms men because
- 11:25Speaker 2: you're so amazing?
- 11:27Speaker 3: I have been.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, yeah, I'm I am lucky that I have
- 11:32Speaker 1: a lot of friends, and I have had a lot
- 11:33Speaker 1: of friends for a long time, a lot of my
- 11:35Speaker 1: kind of core buddies. We've all really stayed in touch
- 11:39Speaker 1: and stayed connected no matter where we lived in the
- 11:41Speaker 1: United States. And I've gotten to, yeah, be in some
- 11:44Speaker 1: weddings for.
- 11:45Speaker 4: It's pretty That's a victory too, That is.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I appreciate that. Very very cool. All right, on the way,
- 11:50Speaker 3: we're gonna have jelly roll.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Also, Angie's gonna share some tea with us. Today's riety
- 11:56Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven, Sonny and fifty fifty sixty
- 12:01Speaker 1: seven Today I can read, I swear it's Gave and Angie.
- 12:04Speaker 3: This morning, I wanted.
- 12:05Speaker 2: To ask you, Gabe, if you have any tattoos. I
- 12:09Speaker 2: feel like I don't know this about you, But the
- 12:10Speaker 2: reason I ask is because Pete Davidson, who notoriously had
- 12:14Speaker 2: a bunch of tattoos all over his body, He's removed
- 12:18Speaker 2: thirty percent of his tattoos so far.
- 12:20Speaker 4: He just doesn't want him anymore.
- 12:22Speaker 3: I don't blame him.
- 12:23Speaker 2: By the way, it cost him two hundred thousand dollars
- 12:26Speaker 2: so far, and it's like such a painful process. And
- 12:29Speaker 2: he says it'll take another ten years to complete and
- 12:33Speaker 2: he hasn't even gotten to his torso or his back yet.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And so I wanted to know, do you have a
- 12:38Speaker 2: tattoo that A do you have tattoos? And B do
- 12:41Speaker 2: you have one that you want to get rid of
- 12:44Speaker 2: or changed?
- 12:45Speaker 1: You know, I don't blame Pete Davidson for one to
- 12:47Speaker 1: get rid of some of those tattoos.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I'll tell you that he did have a bajillion.
- 12:52Speaker 1: And and I think he did a handful of him himself,
- 12:54Speaker 1: just like messing around. Really, I think, so that seems right.
- 12:58Speaker 2: He did have My girl was a lawyer tatted on
- 13:01Speaker 2: him when he was dating Kim Kardashian.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Weird that one didn't work out right, So.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I get removing them. I have a tattoo on the
- 13:13Speaker 2: back of my neck and it is like what every
- 13:17Speaker 2: millennial girl did back in two thousand and eight. It
- 13:20Speaker 2: is my zeodiac symbol on the back of my neck.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It's a cancer sign. And I hate this thing. I
- 13:27Speaker 2: always forget that I have it.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't see it.
- 13:29Speaker 2: No, unless but funnily enough, my hair is up today.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I rarely wear my hair up in public, and yeah,
- 13:36Speaker 2: you can see it. And then it's like, oh wait,
- 13:38Speaker 2: what is that one? And it's not a well done tattoo?
- 13:41Speaker 2: Like I want to change it. I don't know what
- 13:43Speaker 2: to change it too, yet. Maybe I could get some
- 13:47Speaker 2: ideas from listeners.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I don't think you're the only person
- 13:52Speaker 1: this morning who woke up and went, I have one
- 13:54Speaker 1: of them tattoos too.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I do not. I have like five, four or five.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I don't remember. I'd have to go.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I guess I have to look. It's kind of one
- 14:02Speaker 1: of those you know, you sort of forget you have them.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Yeah, but like where how come I've never seen one
- 14:07Speaker 4: on you?
- 14:07Speaker 3: Are they?
- 14:08Speaker 2: Oh?
- 14:08Speaker 4: My god?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Long sleeves. I haven't walked in here with the teacher yet.
- 14:10Speaker 1: They're all on my arms.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Really, I'm gonna say, you have a tramp stamp? No?
- 14:16Speaker 1: I do not, No, but I yeah, it's four or
- 14:18Speaker 1: five of them. No, I don't have one that I read.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I write as of right now on this date, what
- 14:23Speaker 1: is it the twenty fifth?
- 14:25Speaker 3: I do not regret any of them today.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Well, we asked on Facebook, who like what tattoos people have,
- 14:32Speaker 2: if they would change them or get rid of them? Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 2: and William said that he had his ex's name covered all.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Oh William did the did the name?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a bold choice, a bold strategy.
- 14:47Speaker 4: That is a bold choice. Oh my gosh.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And then Amanda, she was twenty one and put an
- 14:51Speaker 2: ex's name on her worst decision. Okay, but do you, Amanda,
- 14:55Speaker 2: do you still have the tattoo?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Yeah? I need I feel like I need a follow
- 14:59Speaker 3: up to this.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Yes, please let us know.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I would never tattoo someone's name on me, I don't think.
- 15:06Speaker 2: But my boyfriend tattooed my name on his arm.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Really yeah, I would maybe do like a pets name,
- 15:14Speaker 1: Like would you ever get your dog's name or your
- 15:16Speaker 1: like your cat's name?
- 15:17Speaker 2: You know what? I had a pig named Willie once
- 15:20Speaker 2: and rip Willie. Maybe I'll get Willy.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Today's Variety Big ninety eight point seven, It's Gabe and Angie,
- 15:29Speaker 1: Sonny and sixty four Today. Yesterday, it was a massive
- 15:35Speaker 1: day for NFL fans, a massive day for NDSU fans.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Gray's Abel drafted in the first round the Vikings drafting
- 15:41Speaker 1: Donovan Jackson. So we wanted to have our own little
- 15:45Speaker 1: draft party here on Big ninety eight point seven, and
- 15:48Speaker 1: we are going to draft the top three artists we
- 15:52Speaker 1: would want to go to Boots and Booze, the crawl
- 15:57Speaker 1: that Angie and I would like to crawl with here.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yes, I love this. Yeah, I think I am ready
- 16:02Speaker 3: to go.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Oh, I'm ready to go. I have my picks, my guys.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Okay, we're each gonna have three selections top artist we'd
- 16:09Speaker 1: want to do Boots and Booze with. With my first
- 16:12Speaker 1: pick in the Boots and Booze draft, I am going
- 16:18Speaker 1: to take mister Ed Sheeran. Now there's a reason I
- 16:22Speaker 1: would take Ed one. I'm a big fan. But also
- 16:25Speaker 1: there's something about him. He probably I don't know why
- 16:29Speaker 1: I get this vibe. I bet he would love Surfside
- 16:32Speaker 1: Raspberry Lemonade vodka.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I could see that. I don't show why.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I just get that vibe from that guy. I feel you, okay.
- 16:40Speaker 4: All right.
- 16:41Speaker 2: With my first selection in the draft pub pro, I
- 16:48Speaker 2: choose Chapel Roon.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Oh all right, Pink Pony Club.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Yes, have you seen her stage outfits?
- 16:55Speaker 2: I feel like She would be perfect to make the
- 16:58Speaker 2: dopest hat with elevated brim, traveling custom hat bar. If
- 17:02Speaker 2: someone's gonna be bejeweling and be dazzling something, I want
- 17:05Speaker 2: it to be Chapel roone.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Okay, I like that. Okay, so your first pick, my
- 17:09Speaker 1: first pick, both done.
- 17:10Speaker 3: All right. With my second pick.
- 17:14Speaker 1: In the Boots and Booze draft, you know, I think
- 17:18Speaker 1: I'm taking Morgan Walling himself. Now there's a reason for this,
- 17:22Speaker 1: all right. First off, I know Morgan likes to party.
- 17:25Speaker 1: That dude drinks. Yeah no, no, I'm just kidding, But
- 17:29Speaker 1: I do think Boots and Booz would be right up
- 17:31Speaker 1: his alley.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Not only that, he seems like a dude who would
- 17:34Speaker 3: really fit in and we fest.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so I think he'd want to win the VIP tickets,
- 17:40Speaker 1: so just be careful of the flying chairs.
- 17:42Speaker 3: That's oh my gosh.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Yes, okay, well, solid pick. Solid pick.
- 17:46Speaker 2: For my second pick in the Boots and Booze on
- 17:49Speaker 2: Broadway Pub tarl draft, I'm gonna go with Taylor Swift.
- 17:56Speaker 4: If she can.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Put on a three hour show for the air tour,
- 18:01Speaker 2: then she's got the stamina to hit every single bar
- 18:05Speaker 2: on the pub crawl. Fort Knops Old Broadway Sports Bar,
- 18:08Speaker 2: rough Cut, Social, Cowboy Jack's, Noble Smokehouse, Blarney.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Stone Side Street. She's down to.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Hit them all and she's a billionaire, so she would
- 18:18Speaker 2: buy us drinks at every single one.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I love that, you know, I actually think you're right.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I think she'd be a pretty solid choice. Clearly has
- 18:24Speaker 1: the stamina for Yeah. All right, I have one more
- 18:27Speaker 1: pick in our draft here for Boots and Booze on Broadway.
- 18:32Speaker 1: You know who I'm gonna use with my selection, Angie, Oh,
- 18:36Speaker 1: I think I'm going with Beyonce.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Ah, I am going with Beyonce.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I have a feeling Beyonce if there ever came a
- 18:45Speaker 1: karaoke moment in the pub crawl the Boots and Booze, probably,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I think that she would actually sing karaoke. She sings
- 18:53Speaker 1: in front of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of
- 18:57Speaker 1: fans at Yeah in concerts she performed. I still think
- 19:02Speaker 1: she would be willing to get down at a karaoke bar.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I think that's a solid choice to round out your.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Draft to bait. Yes, do you have one final pick here?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Oh? I do my final pick in the draft for
- 19:14Speaker 2: the Boots and Booze Pub Crawl Bruno Mars.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Oh, he can.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Sing, he can dance, he can play guitar, and I
- 19:22Speaker 2: think that would be so fun when we end the
- 19:24Speaker 2: night at Cowboy Jacks, or if I'm lucky he takes
- 19:27Speaker 2: me back to the Bridges apartment.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Do not forget boots and booze. The pub crawl coming up.
- 19:33Speaker 1: You can find details on Big ninety eight point seven

- 19:41Speaker 1: It's righty, Big ninety eight point seven. It's Gabe and Angie,
- 19:43Speaker 1: Sonny and sixty four. Today we have games, good news
- 19:49Speaker 1: of the data and your well. I guess to end
- 19:52Speaker 1: a sort of our work week, we still got a
- 19:54Speaker 1: long way to go in our day.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you get what I'm trying to say.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Earlier this week, Hungry Hearts, the nonprofit arm of the
- 20:03Speaker 1: Barrel House in Sioux Falls, donated one hundred and ten
- 20:07Speaker 1: thousand dollars to the Sioux Falls School District to help
- 20:11Speaker 1: eliminate student meal debt. The group had promised to match
- 20:15Speaker 1: donations up to one hundred thousand, and decided to give
- 20:17Speaker 1: the full amount early to inspire more support before the
- 20:21Speaker 1: school year ends.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Now I know.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Sioux Falls isn't North Dakota, but it's South Dakota, so
- 20:27Speaker 1: our neighbors yeah, right below us, which I thought was
- 20:30Speaker 1: very very cool. The donation went to the school district
- 20:33Speaker 1: Angel Fund, which helps students who don't qualify for free
- 20:37Speaker 1: meals but still struggle to afford them.
- 20:40Speaker 3: That is a lot of parents right there. Holy smokes.
- 20:43Speaker 1: They don't qualify for the freebies, but it is insanely
- 20:47Speaker 1: expensive to try to get through a do. I used
- 20:49Speaker 1: to ask my mom that growing up all the time.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I was like, Hey, how come we don't get like
- 20:53Speaker 1: reduced luncher like a lot of my friends or whatever.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 3: She was like, well we should, but.
- 20:57Speaker 2: I don't know, right Sometimes yea, Like on paper it
- 21:01Speaker 2: seems like you make too much.
- 21:02Speaker 4: But in reality you're struggling.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I grew up on free and reduced lunch programs too,
- 21:08Speaker 2: So this is amazing because kids shouldn't suffer. I agree,
- 21:12Speaker 2: kids need to heat so their brains can have the fuel,
- 21:15Speaker 2: so they can learn and grow up to be productive individuals.
- 21:18Speaker 4: This is major and I love it.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Yeah, many families in that district face the issue that
- 21:23Speaker 1: Angie and I had kind of just talked about their
- 21:24Speaker 1: school officials were grateful, saying the money will make a
- 21:27Speaker 1: big difference in reducing current and future debt. They hope
- 21:30Speaker 1: this act of kindness encourages more community support for students
- 21:35Speaker 1: in need. The world is full of nice people. If
- 21:38Speaker 1: you can't find one, you gotta be one. We have
- 21:41Speaker 1: Camilla Cabeo. Happy Flannel Friday. Enjoy your weekend from Big
