  Bob said this. We checked one more verse 25 and

  So again, we understand what is going on within the context here

  in the Gospel of Luke. In the Gospel of Luke, if you

  really go all the way back to Luke chapter #4 in the
• 2:27
  beginning, you begin to see where Jesus was tempted of the
• 2:31
  devil. And we know how Jesus responded
• 2:35
  to Satan there, or he responds as it is written through the
• 2:39
  Word of God. And as you continue to read
• 2:43
  through the book of Luke chapter #4 so he's dealing with the Word
• 2:49
  of God. He's dealing with the truth of
• 2:50
  the Word there in every temptation.
• 2:55
  And then when you come down to the text here in chapter #1
• 3:00
  verse 16, the Bible said this, that he came to Nazareth where
• 3:04
  he had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went
• 3:07
  into the synagogue on the 7th day, stood up to read, and
• 3:12
  here's the verse. The Bible said that He was
• 3:15
  delivered, that He opened the book of the prophet Isaiah.
• 3:19
  And so Bible said that he, again, he opens up y'all.
• 3:22
  He opens up the book of Isaiah in the world.

  Matter of fact, if you go back to I believe it's Isaiah 61 and
• 3:31
  verse #1 Jesus begins to put that verse from the birth of
• 3:36
  y'all and this is what he had to say to them and to school.

  He's fulfilled what he had stated for God.
• 3:44
  Isaiah had stated and Isaiah and this is what he said the Spirit.

  He had the Lord and me to preach the gospel to where he has sent
• 3:55
  the sent me to heal the broken hearted to preach November to
• 3:59
  the captives and recovering of the scientist to send a liberty
• 4:03
  field that are removed. And so here's the whole purpose
• 4:08
  of what Jesus was being rejected to be rejected simply because of
• 4:14
  the word that he had given. It was simply what he had said,
• 4:19
  but it was basically about who had said it was the Lord Jesus
• 4:23
  Christ and then again in the text the Bible said in Luke
• 4:27
  chapter 4 verse 20 and he began to say to them this name is of
• 4:32
  the scripture in your ears. So what Jesus was doing, he was
• 4:38
  fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 61 and basically stating
• 4:42
  who he was. He was the Son of God, He is the
• 4:46
  Messiah, He is the woman cave. And so he was giving them the
• 4:50
  truth. And again we know that word of
• 5:00
  God is true because John 17 verse #17 said this, Sanctify
• 5:05
  them through thy word. He said, Thy word is truth.
• 5:09
  And so we know that Jesus Christ is to you.
• 5:11
  He said alike in his own friend to John 14.
• 5:14
  We know the scripture well. In John 14 Jesus saith it is all
• 5:18
  words. I have to play the truth and the
• 5:22
  light the way it cometh unto the full from what thy be.
• 5:25
  And so therefore Jesus has in this text that he has come to
• 5:31
  preach the gospel to the Lord. And so therefore he was saying,
• 5:35
  I am the one that has come, that that would bring us the speed of
• 5:39
  the John chapter one verse #11 where the Bible said this.
• 5:42
  He came into his own, but his own received him not.
• 5:45
  But then in verse #12 he said, but as many as received thee up
• 5:49
  to them gave you power to become the sons of God.
• 5:52
  And so here's the Scripture I'm really looking at.
• 5:55
  I'm thinking about this text. I'm thinking about it centered
• 5:58
  around the truth and it's centered around the word of God.
• 6:02
  Again, Jesus answered Satan as it is written.
• 6:06
  He's saying I'm the word of God, I'm the truth.
• 6:08
  John once said at the beginning was the Word.
• 6:11
  The word was the God of God, so the word of God, Jesus Christ.
• 6:17
  And so when we come to these persons and we see the same in
• 6:20
  the red. Now I can visualize why they
• 6:23
  said he wanted to throw him down the hill.
• 6:26
  They wanted to throw him down on his head.
• 6:28
  And so here's the truth of the matter.
• 6:30
  If they were to throw Jesus down on his head, that would have not
• 6:33
  been the fulfillment of prophecy and the fulfillment of
• 6:35
  Scripture. So here's the truth that we've
• 6:38
  seen right here in this day, just with Pines way and here's
• 6:42
  the truth. I'm going to give you the day
• 6:43
  Jesus Christ is the he's the only young we have and I want to
• 6:48
  say this, I have some plan to be in Israel.
• 6:51
  Y'all man has been an honor has been a privilege and men, I'm so
• 6:55
  glad that Jesus Christ is the truth.
• 6:57
  He's the God and there there is no salvation outside of the Lord
• 7:03
  Jesus Christ and I sure am bled that I have received the truth,
• 7:07
  but I have not rejected the truth and thank God for Jesus
• 7:11
  today I. Pray for you.
• 7:13
  All right, let's pray. Heavenly Father, I want to thank
• 7:16
  you, Lord, for this day. I want to thank you, Lord, for
• 7:18
  this time, God, that we have had together.
• 7:21
  And Lord, I want to thank you, God, for allowing us to walk
• 7:25
  exactly where you have walked in these days.
• 7:27
  So Lord, I thank you, Father, for saving us.
• 7:31
  I thank you, Lord, for changing our lives.
• 7:33
  Thank you, Father, for giving us the truth through the gospel of
• 7:36
  Jesus Christ. And Lord, I'm so glad, Lord, as
• 7:39
  an 11 year old little boy, I received that truth and believed
• 7:43
  you by faith to save me. And God, you did that.
• 7:46
  And I want to thank you for that.
• 7:48
  Lord, if there be somebody here today that's never been saved,
• 7:51
  that's never received the gospel, I pray Father, today
• 7:55
  that Lord, today would be the day.
• 7:57
  Behold, now is the time of salvation.
• 8:00
  And so Lord, I thank you Father, for saving me.
• 8:03
  I thank you for changing my life.
• 8:05
  And Father, I pray that you continue to bless and I pray
• 8:08
  that you would continue to help us to learn, apply everything
• 8:11
  and every truth to our hearts and we'll thank you in Jesus
