- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeow, this is the Mark Simon Show on seven tenor well,
- 0:11Speaker 1: he got a lot to get to today. We've got
- 0:13Speaker 1: a lot of lawsuits going on. Trump is suing the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal, The Justice Department is going after that Weasley,
- 0:20Speaker 1: wormy weirdo e Gen Carroll. Joe Biden is suing the
- 0:25Speaker 1: Justice Department. We'll get to all of these. Jill Biden
- 0:28Speaker 1: caught in what seems to be massive lies. We'll get
- 0:32Speaker 1: to oil prices, We'll get to Iran. Of course, we'll
- 0:35Speaker 1: get to Kathy Hockel. Huge gaff, What an embarrassing gaff.
- 0:40Speaker 1: She tries to go after Trump claiming he's not a
- 0:42Speaker 1: Knicks fan. And it tells you something about Kathy Hockle
- 0:45Speaker 1: that she never bothered to check the evidence, never bothered
- 0:49Speaker 1: to check the record on Trump and the Knicks. We'll
- 0:52Speaker 1: get to Colbert and Byron Allen in sixty minutes, and
- 0:56Speaker 1: a whole lot more coming up in those data centers.
- 0:59Speaker 1: This contra about the data centers everywhere, Well, there's a
- 1:03Speaker 1: little secret backstory to all of that coming up today.
- 1:07Speaker 1: In the White House, you know, they have the daily
- 1:09Speaker 1: Press briefing every day where the Press Secretary comes out
- 1:13Speaker 1: and does the briefing and then takes questions and answers
- 1:16Speaker 1: about a half hour an hour. Press Secretary Caroline Levitt
- 1:21Speaker 1: is on maternity leave, and normally when the Press secretary
- 1:24Speaker 1: is away, they put the deputy press secretary. It was
- 1:26Speaker 1: never that good but competent. But President Trump came up
- 1:32Speaker 1: with a great idea instead of that deputy press secretary
- 1:35Speaker 1: nobody knows, Let's have the cabinet memories do it. And
- 1:38Speaker 1: the first day it was Rubio who was dazzling, charming, funny,
- 1:43Speaker 1: great with the press, really did them a lot of good.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And then they let Dvance do it. Not as good
- 1:48Speaker 1: as Rubio, but he was pretty good. Today it'll be
- 1:51Speaker 1: Scott Besson, who's also brilliant, I mean absolutely brilliant, super
- 1:56Speaker 1: high IQ and he's got a good sense. So this
- 2:00Speaker 1: should be an interesting briefing. That's today at two o'clock.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You know, it's been a big story on the news.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Oil prices up. You know, they go up five points,
- 2:10Speaker 1: up five dollars a gallon lead story on the nightly news,
- 2:14Speaker 1: NBC Nightly News, CBS, ABC Nightly News. The oil prices
- 2:18Speaker 1: are up. So if you've decided that that's a story,
- 2:23Speaker 1: that's a headline leading story the price of oil. Then
- 2:28Speaker 1: how come they don't do it when it goes down?
- 2:30Speaker 1: This week I went down about twelve points twelve dollars
- 2:34Speaker 1: a gallon. It wasn't a story, wasn't on the news.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Came up a little today, but it's still way down
- 2:40Speaker 1: from last week, way down. Why isn't that a story?
- 2:45Speaker 1: If it goes up five dollars and that's a big story,
- 2:48Speaker 1: you lead the news with it when it drops twelve
- 2:51Speaker 1: dollars a gown, Why isn't that a story? Well? Again,
- 2:54Speaker 1: fake news at work. So hey, this is going to
- 2:58Speaker 1: be an interesting legal battle here. E Gene Carroll. That's
- 3:03Speaker 1: that wacko weirdo woman who took President Trump to court
- 3:08Speaker 1: claiming he raped her in Bergdorff. Goodman. He's talking to
- 3:13Speaker 1: her and then wanted to try on some lingerie, led
- 3:16Speaker 1: her into the dressing room, and it was in the
- 3:17Speaker 1: dressing room that he raped her. Well, there's no evidence
- 3:22Speaker 1: that that ever happened. She can't even give you a
- 3:24Speaker 1: real story. She can't even tell you what year it was.
- 3:27Speaker 1: She can't give you any detail or any can't even
- 3:30Speaker 1: tell you what year it was. What does that tell you?
- 3:34Speaker 1: And if you talk to everybody at Bergdruff Goodman. I
- 3:37Speaker 1: have people that were running that store at the time.
- 3:42Speaker 1: They absolutely say it was impossible, couldn't have happened. There's
- 3:46Speaker 1: no way on earth Donald Trump could have walked in
- 3:48Speaker 1: there and not be followed around by a manager or
- 3:53Speaker 1: somebody to help them. It would never happen. Now, I
- 3:55Speaker 1: know everybody was working in that exact floor at the time.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That's the women's store. They tell me that in all
- 4:03Speaker 1: their time there, many years, not once did Donald Trump
- 4:06Speaker 1: ever come in the women's store. I've checked with everybody
- 4:09Speaker 1: at Bergdarf. He did come in the men's store twice.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Both times he came with a bodyguard with him the
- 4:15Speaker 1: whole time, and again salesperson and a manager escorted him
- 4:19Speaker 1: around the whole time. But he never set foot in
- 4:21Speaker 1: the women's store. So her story absolutely ludicrous. Nobody in
- 4:25Speaker 1: their right mind believes it. So how did you get
- 4:27Speaker 1: so far with that lawsuit? Well, the word was at
- 4:32Speaker 1: the time that the billionaire tech billionaire, Reid Hoffmann financed
- 4:37Speaker 1: the whole thing, got her the finest, toughest lawyers, got her,
- 4:40Speaker 1: armies of lawyers paid for the whole thing was millions
- 4:43Speaker 1: of dollars funded the whole thing. And this happens a
- 4:47Speaker 1: lot nowadays. That's how Peter Tiel went after Gawker, that
- 4:52Speaker 1: awful website. He wanted to shut him down. He hired
- 4:54Speaker 1: an army of lawyers and they started by looking through
- 4:58Speaker 1: every legal case lost that was possible against Gawker, and
- 5:03Speaker 1: they found one that they thought was surefire, couldn't miss.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It was the Hull Cogan case. So they went to
- 5:09Speaker 1: Hulk Hogan and backed him with millions of dollars and
- 5:12Speaker 1: armies of the finest lawyers. Well, it seems the same
- 5:15Speaker 1: thing happened with Egen Carroll. That's the allegation, and that
- 5:17Speaker 1: was the word at the time that Reid Hoffman had
- 5:21Speaker 1: financed her back to her and they knew if they
- 5:23Speaker 1: got it into a crazy Manhattan courtroom filled with Trump
- 5:26Speaker 1: derangement syndrome, that he would easily be convicted a crazy
- 5:30Speaker 1: Trump de arrangement syndrome jury judge was sure fire. Now,
- 5:34Speaker 1: this thing is being held up from getting to the
- 5:37Speaker 1: higher courts. But when it gets out of the crazy
- 5:40Speaker 1: Manhattan Trump hating world and to a real court with
- 5:44Speaker 1: real people, they'll look at the evidence and probably toss
- 5:47Speaker 1: it out. There's just not enough evidence to show anything.
- 5:51Speaker 1: There's nothing there. So but apparently somewhere in a deposition,
- 5:56Speaker 1: Egene Carroll was asked about who was financing her lawsuit
- 6:00Speaker 1: and she said nobody's financing it. So the Justice Department
- 6:04Speaker 1: is now going after her. There's a criminal investigation into
- 6:07Speaker 1: her for perjury, and it looks like a pretty solid case.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So it should be pretty easy to prove how those
- 6:15Speaker 1: lawyers got paid, so there could be perjury charges against
- 6:19Speaker 1: e Gene Carroll. She's currently under investigation. This will be
- 6:23Speaker 1: a great case and it'll be if justice might finally
- 6:27Speaker 1: get done here now. Joe Biden issuing the Justice Department
- 6:33Speaker 1: because when he was writing his book, he sat down
- 6:36Speaker 1: with the ghostwriter and on tape, I guess it was
- 6:39Speaker 1: all a video and audio. The guy interviewed Biden for
- 6:43Speaker 1: hours about his life, and apparently on the interview Biden
- 6:47Speaker 1: was in a total fog, didn't know where he was,
- 6:49Speaker 1: couldn't barely talk, would lose his mind at times. So
- 6:55Speaker 1: somehow the special counsel that was investigating Biden, remember Biden
- 6:58Speaker 1: stole seven thousand classified documents, had them in his house,
- 7:02Speaker 1: had them in his office when they were investigating that
- 7:06Speaker 1: they got to hold the Justice Department, the Special Council
- 7:08Speaker 1: got a hold of this tape, this video, and this
- 7:13Speaker 1: is the special counsel that concluded from watching it, this
- 7:15Speaker 1: guy can't go into a courtroom. His mind is so shot,
- 7:20Speaker 1: his faculties are so bad, you wouldn't be able to
- 7:23Speaker 1: testify in a courtroom. And that's how the one of
- 7:26Speaker 1: the reasons the charges got dropped. So the Justice Department
- 7:28Speaker 1: has possession of that recording, so they're going to release it.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Biden is frantically suing the Justice Department to block the release.
- 7:38Speaker 1: They're arguing all kinds of things, privacy, invasion of privacy.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Legal scholars all tell me he's got very little chance
- 7:45Speaker 1: of winning. That most likely will be released. In fact,
- 7:48Speaker 1: they think it's about ninety nine point nine percent that
- 7:51Speaker 1: we're all going to see that video at some point,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and then very embarrassing for Democrats in the media, you're
- 7:58Speaker 1: going to see Biden was totally completely a vegetable the
- 8:01Speaker 1: whole time he was president. Here's another thing going on.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Jill Biden does an interview for CBS. It's going to
- 8:09Speaker 1: be on the Sunday Morning Show. That's where you know
- 8:13Speaker 1: that CBS Sunday morning shows before Meet the Press. It's
- 8:15Speaker 1: a very good show. Jane Paul's the host, and it's
- 8:18Speaker 1: all topics for people over the age of one hundred.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Everybody on it's over one hundred, so it's perfect for
- 8:23Speaker 1: Joe Biden and Jill Biden. And they asked her about
- 8:28Speaker 1: how bad he was, and you could see the debate
- 8:30Speaker 1: how bad he was. That's why he had to drop out.
- 8:32Speaker 1: He was such a vegetable in the debate. And she
- 8:36Speaker 1: says in the interview, were you shocked when you saw it?
- 8:40Speaker 1: She goes, no, I was scared. I was very scared.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I believed he was having a stroke. I thought he
- 8:44Speaker 1: was having a stroke. I was so scared. Well, if
- 8:50Speaker 1: that's the case, if she was so scared, if somebody's
- 8:53Speaker 1: so bad, you'd think they're having a stroke. But then
- 8:57Speaker 1: we go to the video of her one second after
- 8:59Speaker 1: the debate was over. There is this video that was
- 9:01Speaker 1: seen all over television of her yelling about how great
- 9:04Speaker 1: Joe was. He says. She says, Joe, you are amazing.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You answered every question perfectly. You were unbelievable. Well, was
- 9:11Speaker 1: she lying then or is she lying now? Everybody believes
- 9:17Speaker 1: that knows them really well. They believe she's lying now,
- 9:23Speaker 1: not that she thought he ate was brilliant in the debate,
- 9:25Speaker 1: but they think she's lying now. They think she never
- 9:28Speaker 1: thought he was having a stroke because at that time,
- 9:31Speaker 1: during those years, that's the way Biden was all the time.
- 9:35Speaker 1: He was always completely lost. His mind was totally shot.
- 9:38Speaker 1: He was like a bird's eye vegetable. He was always
- 9:42Speaker 1: like that. But you can't admit that. You can't admit
- 9:45Speaker 1: you covered that up for four years. You can't admit
- 9:48Speaker 1: you committed elder abuse and kept that quiet. So that's
- 9:51Speaker 1: why the stroke story. So they're going to make it
- 9:54Speaker 1: sound like, oh, you couldn't believe how you looked, never
- 9:57Speaker 1: saw him like that before, we thought he was having
- 9:58Speaker 1: a stroke. It was so unus for him. So that's
- 10:01Speaker 1: why the line now to pretend they never saw him
- 10:04Speaker 1: that bad, that it was so unusual that. So it's
- 10:08Speaker 1: covering up their cover up. That's the whole purpose of
- 10:12Speaker 1: this lie. Lots to get to let's get to this
- 10:15Speaker 1: idiotic Kathy Hokeel Donald Trump. President Trump said he may
- 10:20Speaker 1: probably will come to a Knicks game. This is unheard of.
- 10:24Speaker 1: No president has ever gone to an NBA championship game.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But then no president ever went to a Super Bowl
- 10:31Speaker 1: till Donald Trump went. So he's going to come to
- 10:34Speaker 1: the Knicks game. He'll sit in Madison Square Garden, probably
- 10:37Speaker 1: with the Jim Dolan, the owner. Here's Trump.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Jim Dolan's great guy. He's, as you know, owns in
- 10:44Speaker 2: chearge of Madison Square Garden. He's having a good year.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Boy, what a team.
- 10:49Speaker 2: They won all their games. They really they have some
- 10:52Speaker 2: great players. I think I'll be going to one of
- 10:54Speaker 2: the games. I was invited by numerous people and Jim,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and I think I'll be gone.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Yeah. So what do you do if you're idiotic Kathy Hkeel,
- 11:04Speaker 1: if your bird brain Kaffy Huckel, you try to attack
- 11:08Speaker 1: him for it, You attack him over everything. You know.
- 11:10Speaker 1: She calls him all the time. He said, he gets
- 11:12Speaker 1: calls from her all the time. So in private, she's
- 11:14Speaker 1: trying to be his buddy. In public, she's acting like
- 11:17Speaker 1: his worst in him. So she starts making fun of
- 11:19Speaker 1: him that he's not a Knicks fan. Look at him
- 11:21Speaker 1: pandering like Chuck Schumer. He doesn't know anything about the Knicks.
- 11:24Speaker 1: He's never been a Knicks fan. And she actually tries
- 11:26Speaker 1: to make this case.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I asked him to name the starting lineup from nineteen
- 11:35Speaker 3: ninety three championship team to see how he.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Does a Although it turns out there was no nineteen
- 11:42Speaker 1: ninety three championship team. She's the one who doesn't know
- 11:45Speaker 1: anything about the Knicks, doesn't know what he's talking about.
- 11:47Speaker 1: There was a nineteen seventy three championship team, but in
- 11:51Speaker 1: ninety three they lost the championship. There was no championship team.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So and again she's kind of I mean, we know
- 11:58Speaker 1: she's not too bright, but check the record. Trump has
- 12:01Speaker 1: always been a big, big Knicks fan. You can find
- 12:06Speaker 1: a thousand pictures of online all through the eighties, nineties,
- 12:10Speaker 1: two thousands, sitting in the front row of a Knicks game.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He was in a million Knicks games. I remember back then.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I'm not a basketball fan. I have no interest in basketball.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Back in the nineties the two thousands, sometimes you'd see him,
- 12:23Speaker 1: he start talking about how the Knicks did last night,
- 12:24Speaker 1: and I don't know what he was talking about, but
- 12:27Speaker 1: huge Knicks fan. Actually, go to my Twitter, you'll see
- 12:31Speaker 1: a video of him hanging out with the Knicks way
- 12:34Speaker 1: back then. In fact, you'll see him throwing the ball
- 12:38Speaker 1: and actually scoring a basket with the Knicks. So remember
- 12:43Speaker 1: the apprentice he put the knicks on. He's always been
- 12:45Speaker 1: a huge Knicks fan. Tremendous gaff for idiotic Kathy Hokeel.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So these data centers are opening up all over the place,
- 12:55Speaker 1: and it's causing tremendous controversy, even riots protest. AI is
- 13:02Speaker 1: obviously getting bigger and bigger. And to do AI you
- 13:05Speaker 1: need massive data centers. You know, they talk about the
- 13:10Speaker 1: environment and the climate and electricity, and well nothing nothing
- 13:16Speaker 1: uses more electricity than an AI. AI search, Even a
- 13:21Speaker 1: Google search uses a ton of electricity. So you can
- 13:24Speaker 1: take all the trucks and buses and gas gothers in
- 13:28Speaker 1: the world, they don't use one millionth of the energy
- 13:32Speaker 1: that AI uses. So to do AI, you got to
- 13:35Speaker 1: build massive data centers and put them in a community.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Now many communities are protesting. Some are legitimate. There's that
- 13:43Speaker 1: mister wonderful Kevin O'Leary's data center in that state. It's
- 13:47Speaker 1: a small town and they're worried it's using like three
- 13:50Speaker 1: times the electricity of that town normally has. It's causing
- 13:54Speaker 1: residents to have less electricity, less water pressure, all that.
- 13:59Speaker 1: So this pro not really even protests. They're just holding
- 14:03Speaker 1: community meetings, you know, trying to get it stopped. But
- 14:06Speaker 1: in other areas, especially in New Jersey, there's riots in
- 14:09Speaker 1: front of data centers. Now it looks like these are
- 14:13Speaker 1: all environmentalists or people concerned about electricate just a few.
- 14:18Speaker 1: But most of this is funded by China. We're in
- 14:22Speaker 1: a real AI battle with China. We're ahead of them
- 14:25Speaker 1: in this battle, but they're trying to crush our AI capabilities.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So many of these protests are paid for, funded by
- 14:34Speaker 1: China by Neville Roy Singham, who's the George Soros, the
- 14:39Speaker 1: other George Soros. He's in China, operates out of China,
- 14:43Speaker 1: uses the money of the communist Chinese government, So they
- 14:46Speaker 1: are funding this. And who jumps in to help out?
- 14:50Speaker 1: Who partners with the Chinese on this? Mikey Cheryl left
- 14:54Speaker 1: wing Democrats yelling and screaming about data centers.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Today, the public has no clue how much energy or
- 14:59Speaker 4: water of these data centers actually need. I want to
- 15:03Speaker 4: mandate transparency and start by requiring data centers to report
- 15:07Speaker 4: energy and water used to the public every six months.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Well, they're not supposed to report it to us because
- 15:12Speaker 1: I don't know what they could give me all the numbers.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell I'm looking at. You're
- 15:16Speaker 1: the governor, You're supposed to go meet with them privately,
- 15:19Speaker 1: examine their numbers, and you make the decis that we're
- 15:21Speaker 1: paying you for to know this stuff, and decided you
- 15:24Speaker 1: can give me all the data center electricity numbers. Well
- 15:28Speaker 1: what do I don't know if it's good or bad.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But Democrats are jumping in on this. They may even
- 15:34Speaker 1: know it's the communist Chinese funding these riots, these protests.
- 15:37Speaker 1: You know, they don't care if whatever it hurts the Republicans.
- 15:40Speaker 1: They're get involved.
- 15:41Speaker 4: We're going to make sure that data centers engage with
- 15:43Speaker 4: and invest back in the communities where they built. This
- 15:47Speaker 4: isn't an uncommon ask. For a long time in America
- 15:51Speaker 4: was understood that if a business wants to thrive in
- 15:53Speaker 4: a community, it has to give back to that community.
- 15:56Speaker 1: That's what every business does. That's what a business is.
- 15:59Speaker 1: They come into the community. Here, we're going to spend
- 16:01Speaker 1: two billion dollars. We're going to hire four hundred people.
- 16:03Speaker 1: We're going to pay all these taxes they are given.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Back, so we're developing strong statewide guidelines for community benefit
- 16:10Speaker 4: agreements for this industry, deals that will require data centers
- 16:14Speaker 4: to address issues like noise, light, and pollution, deals to
- 16:18Speaker 4: invest in surrounding towns and schools, housing, whatever those towns
- 16:22Speaker 4: decide that they most need.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm it's all fake and phony. It's all
- 16:27Speaker 1: a messer of it paid for by China trying to
- 16:29Speaker 1: screw up us in the AI race. But for Mikey Cheryl,
- 16:33Speaker 1: for a Corey Booker, for all the crazy Democrats, it's
- 16:36Speaker 1: like the ice facilities. Well, we'll get to that coming up.
- 16:39Speaker 1: If it's a good political tool, a good if they
- 16:42Speaker 1: can weaponize it. They don't care who's funding it. Hey,
- 16:44Speaker 1: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 16:47Speaker 1: to two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 16:50Speaker 1: hundred three to two one zero seven ten in Mark
- 16:54Speaker 1: on Demand by setting a preset for his podcast on
- 16:58Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Now back to Mark.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Zimon on WR.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Well, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 17:12Speaker 1: zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 17:20Speaker 5: Oh?
- 17:20Speaker 6: Thanks, Mark, Little rainy cloudy down here. But still hot
- 17:23Speaker 6: and humid. Summer's right around the corner. And I tried
- 17:26Speaker 6: to get on yesterday with you know, you're talking about
- 17:28Speaker 6: this John Cornan getting absolutely destroyed down in Texas there.
- 17:32Speaker 6: What's happening, I think is that as Trump has bought
- 17:34Speaker 6: more and more young men and young people into the
- 17:38Speaker 6: Republican Party, they don't want these dinosaurs. They don't want
- 17:42Speaker 6: these rhinos. And that's why when he supports somebody who's
- 17:45Speaker 6: younger than John Cornan, these young people who are coming
- 17:48Speaker 6: into the party now want to get rid of the
- 17:51Speaker 6: rhinos and the dinosaurs. They want younger people. And then
- 17:54Speaker 6: that's another reason why he's bat in one hundred percent.
- 17:57Speaker 1: That's a good point. He's brought a lot of people
- 17:59Speaker 1: over from the Democratic Party into the Republican Party, some
- 18:02Speaker 1: younger people, a lot of the working people, the blue
- 18:06Speaker 1: collar people who traditionally always Democrats are now Republicans. Let's
- 18:11Speaker 1: go to Bill in Idaho. Bill, how you.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Doing my mark?
- 18:17Speaker 6: I used to be Bill from Manhattan, but now I'm
- 18:20Speaker 6: Bill from Corda Lane, Idaho.
- 18:23Speaker 1: What are you the fugitive? You on the land? You
- 18:25Speaker 1: keep moving?
- 18:26Speaker 5: Well?
- 18:27Speaker 6: No, well, one thing, it's yeah, sort of on the
- 18:30Speaker 6: lamb that way, but I wouldn't put it that way.
- 18:35Speaker 7: You know, there's not enough Chinese here where.
- 18:40Speaker 6: Corner Lane, Idaho.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Oh you mean Chinese people are food?
- 18:44Speaker 6: Well, you know, when I was going to be in Manhattan,
- 18:47Speaker 6: if I want to do my laundry, this is weird.
- 18:49Speaker 3: I never did it. I just left it out the
- 18:51Speaker 3: front door, and this Chinese woman came by picked it up.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I love hearing your ethnic stereotypes.
- 18:58Speaker 3: But well, yeah, I went down to the store where
- 19:02Speaker 3: she was.
- 19:03Speaker 7: Yeah, and she's had.
- 19:05Speaker 1: A fascinating story, but not for normal people. But thanks, okay,
- 19:10Speaker 1: all right, Foster Brooks Junior, thanks for calling. Yeah, people
- 19:13Speaker 1: move to Idaho and then they can't figure out that
- 19:15Speaker 1: you can't get coach Chinese food, you can't get a pastromi.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So it's a lot of things you can't get in Idaho.
- 19:21Speaker 1: That's why a lot of people live here. Let's go
- 19:23Speaker 1: to Robert in Westchester. Robert, how you doing.
- 19:27Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, Thank you for taking my call. Mark.
- 19:30Speaker 7: Between Mikey Cheryl and it's idiot MNDONMI scaring away businesses,
- 19:35Speaker 7: making this place unattractive. What do they think is going
- 19:38Speaker 7: to be the tax base? These stupid cannabis stores. And
- 19:41Speaker 7: with this idiot, you know, charging twenty million dollars for
- 19:44Speaker 7: a grocery store. We know what that's all about. That's
- 19:46Speaker 7: going to be his little slush one. He's able to
- 19:49Speaker 7: take care of.
- 19:49Speaker 1: His I don't think so. I think he will genuinely
- 19:52Speaker 1: be wasting it. I don't think.
- 19:55Speaker 7: People.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Yeah, genuinely, genuinely just wasting money. And you gotta remember,
- 20:00Speaker 1: Democrats never believe in science. They never follow the science.
- 20:05Speaker 1: There's a science on an economy on how it works. Yes,
- 20:09Speaker 1: if you chase away the big business and the taxpayers,
- 20:12Speaker 1: you have no more tax revenue. But there's an economic
- 20:15Speaker 1: model that works. Yeah, to take socialism for instance, We've
- 20:18Speaker 1: tested it ten thousand times. It failed every time. That's
- 20:23Speaker 1: the science. But Democrats don't believe in science. They never
- 20:26Speaker 1: follow the science. They keep doing the same stupid things.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 20:34Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark? Good morning matter? Mark? Doesn't Kathy to
- 20:37Speaker 5: Creepoko have for grubby hands all over this Egen Carol case.
- 20:42Speaker 5: Didn't she extend the reporting time for rape cases? And
- 20:48Speaker 5: that other dirt bag, what's his name, George Conway who's
- 20:53Speaker 5: now running for Congress, I believe were for the Senate.
- 20:57Speaker 5: And in one of his ads he both about how
- 21:01Speaker 5: he busted Troup with the Eging and Caroll case. He
- 21:05Speaker 5: looked at some detective show. What was that, NYPD.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's a good point. I forgot to mention that.
- 21:12Speaker 1: So first of all, yeah, the legislature changed the law
- 21:16Speaker 1: allowing Egen Carroll to bring You normally can't bring a
- 21:18Speaker 1: rape case from five hundred years ago, but they changed
- 21:21Speaker 1: the law, no statue limitations, so she could bring it.
- 21:23Speaker 1: And yeah, she can't seem to be specific about anything
- 21:26Speaker 1: that happened, but what she's described was the exact plot
- 21:30Speaker 1: of a Law and Order episode that she watched in
- 21:33Speaker 1: a rerun. So it's very very suspected.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Yeah, and this bumb George Conway is running on that
- 21:41Speaker 5: he should be investigated for conjuring up this whole scheme because.
- 21:47Speaker 1: He's not a dishonest. He's just a crazy Trump hater.
- 21:49Speaker 1: You got Trump de arrangement syndrome and very very very angry.
- 21:54Speaker 5: Sure he's not dishonest, Mom, look pleasy to.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Be man, very successful, are wealthy guy. Now he's just
- 22:01Speaker 1: crazy with Trump paid. They go nuts with this Trump
- 22:03Speaker 1: arrangement syndrome.
- 22:05Speaker 5: Is he still married to Kelly and Conway Mom?
- 22:07Speaker 1: That's been over a long long time. That was years ago,
- 22:10Speaker 1: long time, right, all right, Vincent, thanks for calling. Hey.
- 22:13Speaker 1: When we come back the hunt for Steve Moore, we'll
- 22:16Speaker 1: see if I think he'll show up. I think we'll
- 22:17Speaker 1: talk to Steve Moore next to brilliant economists who can
- 22:21Speaker 1: teach us all kinds of stuff and shed light on
- 22:23Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. We'll get to that next on
- 22:25Speaker 1: seven to ten wor let's get.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Back to the Mark Simone Show on wo.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Well and brilliant economist Steve Moore. You should read his columns,
- 22:38Speaker 1: of course, you see them all over television. You get
- 22:40Speaker 1: his book, The Trump Economic Miracle. You'll love the book.
- 22:44Speaker 1: And he runs the Committee to Unleash Prosperity and they
- 22:47Speaker 1: put out the best daily briefing, news analysis. You want
- 22:50Speaker 1: to sound really smart, get this every day. It's free.
- 22:53Speaker 1: It'll come write to your email. Just go sign up
- 22:56Speaker 1: at Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve more, how you doing, hey.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Mark doing pretty well? The economy is showing some signs
- 23:05Speaker 3: picking up. It's amazing how resilient and durable this economy.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Is that even with you know, for to four to
- 23:11Speaker 3: fifty of L gallon gas, economies is doing pretty well.
- 23:16Speaker 3: We've got a good jobs report, the boy the stock
- 23:19Speaker 3: markets on a tear, and we're seeing you know, a
- 23:23Speaker 3: pretty good incomes are actually rising faster than inflation by
- 23:27Speaker 3: a bit. And so if we can get the straight
- 23:30Speaker 3: of hor moves open, get that oil flowing again, I
- 23:32Speaker 3: think we're gonna have a blockbuster second half of the year.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, I was watching sixty Minutes. They had
- 23:37Speaker 1: this idiotic Aaron sorkinon who on sixty Minutes Sunday said
- 23:41Speaker 1: a recession is coming. It's gonna at any moment of recession.
- 23:45Speaker 1: What the hell is he talking about? It makes no sense.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Well, you know, I mean, when you have high gas prices,
- 23:53Speaker 3: there's no question that that, you know, is a tax
- 23:55Speaker 3: on the economy. It's a negative question about it. But
- 23:59Speaker 3: so far economies really just smoke through this. Now, food
- 24:02Speaker 3: price I'm a little worried about food prices too, because
- 24:04Speaker 3: fertilizer prices are really high right now, So that might affect,
- 24:08Speaker 3: you know, coming in the end of the summer and
- 24:11Speaker 3: early fall, we might see, you know, an increase in
- 24:14Speaker 3: food prices. But you know, boy, not the stock market
- 24:18Speaker 3: and all the economic indicators. You saw the the Reserve
- 24:22Speaker 3: Board says we're growing at four percent discord. That's a
- 24:25Speaker 3: blockbuster number.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That's amazing. Hey, Steve Moore, we're talking about these data centers. Now,
- 24:30Speaker 1: there's protests all over trying to block the data centers.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Stop the data centers. We know a lot of it
- 24:35Speaker 1: is funded by the Chinese trying to hurt us in
- 24:37Speaker 1: the AI race. But what's the truth. Are they really
- 24:41Speaker 1: bad for a community? Are they really draining our electricity?
- 24:45Speaker 3: Well, look, people are obviously nervous about you know, the robots,
- 24:48Speaker 3: and people are nervous about what this is going to
- 24:50Speaker 3: mean for jobs. You know, five and ten years down
- 24:53Speaker 3: the road, will will the robot take my job? And
- 24:56Speaker 3: so I get that people are apprehensive, but it's most
- 25:00Speaker 3: like remember when fracking started about fifteen years Oh my god, cracking.
- 25:04Speaker 3: It's gonna cause earthquakes, You're gonna pollute our water, and
- 25:06Speaker 3: it's going to cause all these problems. We hate fracking.
- 25:09Speaker 3: And of course now we know fracking out of trillions
- 25:12Speaker 3: and trillions of dollars to our economy, it's you know,
- 25:15Speaker 3: we'd be paying six seven eight dollars a gallon of
- 25:17Speaker 3: gas if we weren't for that incredible technology that you know,
- 25:21Speaker 3: all the lies that we're set about fracking and we
- 25:24Speaker 3: just call it shade a oil and gas right now,
- 25:26Speaker 3: and everybody's for that. So it's a little bit like that.
- 25:28Speaker 3: People are afraid of the unknown. But this is going
- 25:32Speaker 3: to be the most amazing period of not just productivity.
- 25:35Speaker 3: It's going to make so much more productives, just like
- 25:37Speaker 3: the Internet did. Just like you know when we invented
- 25:40Speaker 3: elect this is like the the invention of electricity. That's
- 25:44Speaker 3: how big it's going to be. And so people, you know,
- 25:47Speaker 3: there's going to be there's not gonna be a shortage
- 25:49Speaker 3: of homes. Everybody's going to be a castle. I'm on
- 25:52Speaker 3: the board of a company called light Speed. We build
- 25:54Speaker 3: houses with robots, and we're going to build build them
- 25:57Speaker 3: twice as fast, half as expensive. So it's going to
- 26:00Speaker 3: be enormous. But even one thing I think that the
- 26:03Speaker 3: industry is so terrible at These are the smartest people
- 26:05Speaker 3: on the planet, have five trillion dollar industry, and they
- 26:08Speaker 3: don't explain to people all of the incredible benefits that
- 26:11Speaker 3: are to come. We for example, I was meeting with
- 26:14Speaker 3: some health experts last week and they were saying, because
- 26:18Speaker 3: of AI, they will be able to detect cancer cells,
- 26:23Speaker 3: you know, way way earlier than the technology now. In
- 26:27Speaker 3: other words, the way you defeat cancer is you, you know,
- 26:30Speaker 3: combat those cancer cells early, you know, the earlier you
- 26:33Speaker 3: of the prognosis, so that we have will have the
- 26:36Speaker 3: capacity to end cancer in this country. Well also, I
- 26:40Speaker 3: mean we'll literally be able to give sight to the blind.
- 26:44Speaker 3: All of these amazing advances, and yet people are nervous
- 26:48Speaker 3: about it. But data centers are well, I don't understand.
- 26:51Speaker 3: It would be like, you know, Michigan saying no, we
- 26:53Speaker 3: don't want any more of those auto plants. I don't
- 26:55Speaker 3: get it. It creates jobs, It pays revenues. In loud
- 26:58Speaker 3: And County, Virginia outside where I live. You know, the
- 27:01Speaker 3: the data centers are paying half the property taxes. Wow,
- 27:04Speaker 3: they pay for the schools, they pay for the roads,
- 27:06Speaker 3: they pay for the hospitals.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Huh. Hey, if we have a good point, nobody has
- 27:10Speaker 1: more money than the oil companies, the data companies. Why
- 27:13Speaker 1: don't they hire a bunch of pr firms. Why don't
- 27:15Speaker 1: they do something that I know?
- 27:17Speaker 3: Look here, I am I'm sitting here waiting for that
- 27:19Speaker 3: million dollar truck. But we defend you know that, we
- 27:22Speaker 3: defend it not because they're paying us, but because this
- 27:25Speaker 3: is going to be so good for America. And by
- 27:28Speaker 3: the way, the most important point, I think the most
- 27:30Speaker 3: persuasive point for people who are nervous about AI and
- 27:33Speaker 3: Pole show about you know, sixty percent of Americans are
- 27:36Speaker 3: more nervous than excited about AI. I would simply say this,
- 27:39Speaker 3: it's coming, It's coming. The robotics is coming. It's you know,
- 27:43Speaker 3: you can't hold back the future. The only real question
- 27:47Speaker 3: that matters right now for Americans is will the United
- 27:51Speaker 3: States be at the forefront.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Of this or will China.
- 27:55Speaker 3: We dominated, the United States dominated the Internet age, and
- 27:58Speaker 3: I want to make sure that America and not China,
- 28:02Speaker 3: you know, is the dominant force in the AI robotics age.
- 28:06Speaker 1: And they want to make sure we're not. And that's
- 28:07Speaker 1: why they're funding all of these protests against the.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Exactly that's exactly right. And you know, you're Mark, You're
- 28:14Speaker 3: one hundred percent right. So all of these revolts that
- 28:16Speaker 3: are going on, a lot of that is funded because
- 28:19Speaker 3: people are afraid. And why are they afraid? Because China
- 28:23Speaker 3: is funding this movement, telling people all of these weird
- 28:27Speaker 3: you know things about oh, it's going to destroy America
- 28:30Speaker 3: and da that's that's a propaganda campaign that is being
- 28:35Speaker 3: funded by our enemies.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Hey, this new crazy New Jersey Governor mikey Ryl. She's
- 28:42Speaker 1: out there protesting the data centers and isn't she chasing
- 28:45Speaker 1: Exon out of New Jersey.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Yeah, this is such an amazing story. So you know,
- 28:52Speaker 3: let's face it, Exon Mobile is one of America's greatest
- 28:56Speaker 3: iconic companies. It's been in New Jersey, domin out there
- 29:00Speaker 3: for one hundred and forty years. It's something like the
- 29:03Speaker 3: tenth largest company in the United States. And after one
- 29:07Speaker 3: hundred and forty years, they finally said, we're fed up
- 29:09Speaker 3: with the you know, the liberal policies, the high taxes,
- 29:13Speaker 3: the fact that you know, here they are the home
- 29:16Speaker 3: of one of the largest oil companies and they're they're
- 29:19Speaker 3: bringing lawsuits against the climate change losses the oil companies.
- 29:23Speaker 3: So they finally said we are out of here. Yesterday
- 29:27Speaker 3: the shareholders seventy to thirty percent said we're moving to Texas.
- 29:31Speaker 3: And you know, we've heard this story over and over again.
- 29:34Speaker 3: So New Jersey is losing one of its greatest companies
- 29:38Speaker 3: because of the liberal governance there.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Well, how done do you have to be to be
- 29:43Speaker 1: crazy about getting more tax revenue and chase away your
- 29:45Speaker 1: biggest tax players. I mean, it makes exactly.
- 29:48Speaker 3: It is absolutely crazy. It's like the Seattle may or
- 29:51Speaker 3: when you know, Starbucks and Microsoft and Amazon started moving.
- 29:55Speaker 3: You know, these are iconic Seattle companies started to move,
- 29:59Speaker 3: you know, jobs out of there because of their liberal policies,
- 30:01Speaker 3: and the mayor said, bye bye, we don't want you to. Well,
- 30:04Speaker 3: who's going to pay the bills?
- 30:06Speaker 1: Hey? Even Hollywood, Los Angeles, Hollywood is leaving Hollywood. They're
- 30:10Speaker 1: kind of losing the movie business there, aren't they.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Just like you know, New York is losing the financial
- 30:16Speaker 3: services sector. It's sad. You know if you look at
- 30:19Speaker 3: the ten movies that were on the Oscar list for
- 30:23Speaker 3: the Best Picture, and by the way, none of them
- 30:25Speaker 3: were any good. But of those ten, now one of
- 30:28Speaker 3: them was actually made in a movie studio in Los Angeles.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Because why, it's too costly to do business there. The
- 30:35Speaker 3: labor rules are crazy, that people are sick of the
- 30:38Speaker 3: woke stuff. And by the way, Hollywood's near those mountains
- 30:42Speaker 3: where the where they had the forest fires, So nobody
- 30:45Speaker 3: wants to make a movie there anymore. So it's really
- 30:48Speaker 3: a sad thing. The amount of employment in Hollywood is
- 30:52Speaker 3: dropped by half in just the last five years.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Wow, So this will affect this mayoral race in Los Angeles,
- 31:00Speaker 1: won't it.
- 31:02Speaker 5: Wow?
- 31:02Speaker 3: What a story that is. I mean, is it Pratt?
- 31:06Speaker 1: Yeah? Pratt, Spencer Pratt.
- 31:08Speaker 3: He's he's amazing and he's surging in the polls they have.
- 31:12Speaker 3: They're going to elections the election booth on Tuesday, and
- 31:16Speaker 3: it looks like it'll be the current mayor versus Spencer Pratt.
- 31:20Speaker 3: That'll make it into a runoff. And then it's a
- 31:22Speaker 3: question of whether people in Los Angeles realize how much
- 31:25Speaker 3: trouble they're in. I love La by the way, it's
- 31:27Speaker 3: my my favorite cities, but have you been there lately?
- 31:29Speaker 1: It's pretty terrible.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Garbage, homeless people everywhere, dirty and unsafe. I hope that
- 31:36Speaker 3: the people in Los Angeles have the courage to change,
- 31:39Speaker 3: just like by the way Rudy Giuliani turned around New York.
- 31:42Speaker 3: You were there when that happened. I think Spencer Pratt
- 31:45Speaker 3: could really turn make make LA great again.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Hey, the only problem is you get a Rudy Giuliani.
- 31:50Speaker 1: It's it's great, but then you get a Democrat comes
- 31:53Speaker 1: in afterwards puts it right back where it was.
- 31:55Speaker 3: So they screw it all up again.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yep. Well, Steve Moore. Great, everybody gets Steve Moore's book,
