  some time. It's so sad to older gentleman

  sitting back and talking about the origins of life with no time

  Since this is a very serious topic of this is something that

  is very personal to me. Something that is meant a great

  I know that you don't know me very well but I used to be a

  hardcore, social media atheist for 15 years.

  It was just recently in the last few years where I became a

  theist and then I made my way over to Christianity, but a lot

  of my Views or not, I would say not agreeable with the way some
• 2:36
  Christians, look at God, or the way they view God's nature.

  There are some Christians out there that are very disturbed by
• 2:45
  my position because I have a lot of views about God, that I
• 2:52
  believe are biblical, some of them are not some of the my
• 2:56
  adopt from other philosophies and and Views and then the god
• 3:01
  of the Bible tends to inherit a lot of the ideas that I have.

  I'll give you one example before I get into my question Mao

  theism. It's the belief that God may

  also have a deal nature. Not just nature of good, but
• 3:18
  also the ability to wreak havoc destruction, chaos, and even in
• 3:23
  some instances evil. Let me get me, a drink, my

  throat's, a little dry. It's probably from doing that

  12-hour show that by the way I hope you don't mind all my shows

  and up on the radio for everybody to be able to hear.

  And I've also got it set up to where people can actually if

  they have the right kind of equipment they can watch video

  sir. So is a lot of atheists you,

  come on my show. All right, the question is, as

  you know, whenever you came to visit my room, you grab the clip

  towards the end of our conversation, which I thought

  was very good and beneficial for anybody listening.

  I asked you, if you were aware that atheist had the highest
• 4:18
  suicide rate as well as substance abuse.

  I personally believe that drugs and alcohol have depressants in
• 4:25
  them so they can lead to suicide and depression, or is someone is
• 4:29
  already depressed? It can cause Even more severe
• 4:33
  problems with what they already have.

  The reason why I bring up suicide rate whenever I'm
• 4:39
  talking in a lot of different conversations but non-believers
• 4:43
  is because I've had a lot of friends over the years that have
• 4:46
  been non-believers and atheist and many of them, unfortunately
• 4:52
  I have discovered through social media.
• 4:55
  It makes me sick when I go to their Facebook or their Twitter
• 4:59
  are one of their accounts and a family member or friend leaves a
• 5:04
  comment or post stating that the person has ended their life.

  I cared about these people, I love these people and I
• 5:13
  discovered, whenever I was a non-believer, I felt like I was
• 5:17
  limited on the things that I could say, to them, to try to
• 5:22
  convince them that life had value to it.
• 5:25
  Used to be not just an atheist but I was going down a downward
• 5:31
  spiral into nihilism, which is what I believe atheism does lead
• 5:36
  to for an atheist. Eventually.
• 5:38
  If they go down the rabbit hole I believe that if a person
• 5:43
  thinks that they're nothing more than an evolved slug are worm
• 5:47
  like creature. And if they believe that their
• 5:51
  existence came here, VI nothing or just Has of some random crazy
• 5:58
  ass energy surge that created the universe and that there's no
• 6:02
  plan for them. There's nothing protecting the
• 6:05
  universe or that loves them. Then an atheist will find
• 6:09
  themselves very quickly and a world where they're questioning
• 6:13
  is love. Even real?
• 6:15
  Do they even have a soul? Is there something higher?
• 6:19
  Is this all there is? Because let's face it, although
• 6:23
  atheist and religious people had Homes, have those joyful moments
• 6:28
  that delicious cookie, that great cup of coffee that orgasm
• 6:34
  whenever they're making love to someone, they really care about
• 6:37
  when it comes down to it. The life of an atheist can be
• 6:40
  quite lonely and as you know, Richard Dawkins, I believe was
• 6:45
  the one that said, you can't herd cats and he represented
• 6:48
  atheist as like that of the cat. I believe that was him.

  That said that. I believe that if you teach
• 6:59
  atheism, the people or they get inspired or influenced to become
• 7:03
  an unbeliever, that it takes a lot of, a lot of tools and a lot
• 7:08
  of things that make us up as a human being away from them.

  They don't have something to pray to whenever they're having
• 7:16
  their darkest time because they don't believe there's a God or
• 7:19
  higher power to talk to. I myself, I suffer from severe,
• 7:23
  bipolar manic depression and I felt like I was very Alone.
• 7:28
  I had my wife and my kids, of course, but I didn't.
• 7:32
  At the time I felt like I was an independent critical thinker and
• 7:37
  I didn't want to put all my pains and lows and war that was
• 7:43
  going on in my head down on my wife.
• 7:47
  She's a very happy optimistic person and I just didn't want to
• 7:52
  I knew there was something wrong on my end with the depression
• 7:56
  and not her fault. And I just didn't want to drag
• 7:59
  her down with my negativity if that makes sense.

  So, I kind of kept it all in, I kept it to myself and I think a
• 8:07
  lot of non-believers do that where they don't want to be a
• 8:10
  burden to some people. And because the world is mostly
• 8:16
  people of faith, and it could be quite hard for a non-believer to
• 8:20
  go to their friends, or their family, who are religious
• 8:23
  because obviously the first thing, a person who is spiritual
• 8:27
  or religious is going to believe that God will cure and fix every
• 8:32
  problem, right. You know this And a lot of
• 8:37
  non-believers are not wanting to hear all that, they're wanting
• 8:41
  to hear something else. The problem is, is I don't know
• 8:44
  what that something else. Is that can be said to a person
• 8:48
  who is suicidal or depressed. I myself was not able to find
• 8:53
  any kind of naturalistic solution to the problem of
• 8:57
  feeling loneliness or feeling as though I was in darkness as an
• 9:01
  atheist. I am.

  I tried to tell myself that I only have one life to live.
• 9:08
  I used to tell myself that life is a rollercoaster ride that has
• 9:11
  its ups and downs. Instead of killing myself, maybe
• 9:15
  I should just write it to The Bitter End and no matter what
• 9:19
  happens. Just go with it and put
• 9:22
  subjective value into what I do have like, I knew that I didn't
• 9:28
  have whenever I was an atheist. I was absolutely under the
• 9:32
  acknowledgement At everything around me was subjective.

  That it was only my opinion that validated meaning or purpose for
• 9:44
  anybody that I love or care about.

  I know that how I feel about my children, how I feel about my
• 9:51
  wife is going to be completely subjective out depending on
• 9:56
  those who are around my kids and wife.

  Obviously, other people are not going to see the same value.

  In fact, my own family apparently does not have the

  same code of honor or respect for that nuclear family or that
• 10:11
  family structure that a lot of people strive for my kids do not
• 10:15
  have grandparents, they don't have great.

  Parents. We have a couple people alive in
• 10:20
  our family, so the support was definitely not there as a
• 10:25
  non-believer. I truly believe that having God
• 10:31
  in your life or at least the belief that God is listening and
• 10:35
  they're can help a person. It makes you feel as though
• 10:39
  you're not an accident, you're not, some kind of, just a bunch
• 10:43
  of random chemistry that combined itself, and then Then
• 10:47
  here you are. I believe that the idea of God
• 10:53
  actually makes you believe that your entire life is based upon
• 10:57
  love, and that there is goals for you to be able to accomplish
• 11:04
  as we're atheism. You kind of just you just walk
• 11:07
  through your life and, you know, you just see it as I gotta
• 11:11
  survive and I guess I'll do this, and I'll do that.

  But at the end of the day, there's even the death problem.

  There's the the concern that. Okay.

  So I'm going to die and then white everything that I love
• 11:25
  everything that I care about is gone.

  I don't fear death for myself, if that makes sense.

  But I do I hate going to funerals.

  I hate seeing my family members dead and a box.

  I hate seeing my friends who might a grown up with be dead
• 11:48
  and then they have to convince myself that that's it that I'll
• 11:51
  never see them again. I don't care if I die.

  And in fact, I told you and this entire day of the video that

  I've had bipolar manic depression.

  So there's been many times where I could easily see suicide is a
• 12:08
  way out. But with the belief in God, that
• 12:12
  gives me one big extra reason on why I shouldn't, why I should
• 12:17
  see that. There's something special about
• 12:19
  life in this world, because if I didn't have that special thing
• 12:24
  and I wasn't able to see wife are in a higher level like this
• 12:28
  or transcending, in some way, if I were to, just look at the
• 12:33
  World Through The Eyes of an atheist, which I've done for 15
• 12:37
  years. This world is absolute shit.

  It's garbage. I see people getting unfair
• 12:44
  treatment. I see non-believers and
• 12:47
  religious people who get fucked over on a daily basis and that's
• 12:52
  hard to swallow. And it's not much, it's to be
• 12:57
  honest with you, it's not much better even when you do throw
• 13:00
  God into the mix because then of course at the end of the day,
• 13:04
  you're asking, why did God allow this for?
• 13:07
  Why did God allow a good? Christian family to lose her
• 13:11
  child to Luke leukemia. Why did a good kind atheist end
• 13:17
  up losing their mother or their father or someone that they love
• 13:22
  over? Some unnecessary accident that
• 13:25
  Needed to happen. Such as some kid fucking around
• 13:29
  on a telephone or a wireless while driving down the road and
• 13:33
  ends up running into your loved ones and taking them all out.

  I have tons of questions just because I've become someone of
• 13:42
  Faith doesn't mean that. I stopped thinking about the
• 13:46
  reality of the world as atheists, like to put it.

  It's something I struggle with daily, but the belief in God
• 13:54
  does help I guess whenever all comes down to it the question I

  have is being that I'm like I am and I have I do believe even
• 14:06
  though I believe in God that I'm also a person with critical
• 14:09
  thought and questioning is how do I help out others?

  If I don't have the tools to use such as God and that there's
• 14:18
  something greater going on in this universe.

  If I can't tell someone, that tomorrow will be a better day.

  That's a faith-based response. If I can't tell people that
• 14:30
  they're loved, And that the Universe does care for them and
• 14:35
  that there's a plan. What can I tell a non-believer?

  That life I can't say life is going to get better because I
• 14:43
  don't know if it's going to get better as an atheist.
• 14:48
  I can't tell them that that everything will work itself out.
• 14:52
  Things will get better. These are all faith-based
• 14:55
  assertions. This is not something that a
• 14:58
  critical person of thought would say, especially if there is
• 15:04
  nothing predetermined or set up to begin with, So what would you
• 15:09
  do? John the reason why I'm asking

  you this specifically and I'm sharing all this is because you
• 15:16
  are a man who said that you work for a group that is for
• 15:19
  recovering. Believers people who are going
• 15:23
  over to atheism and they're having a difficult time with
• 15:26
  their transition. What do you say to a person who

  is struggling in their life? Does it make sense to tell them?
• 15:36
  Everything's going to work itself out.
• 15:38
  Things will be fine. They're loved.
• 15:43
  Because if you don't have God and religion, then there's no
• 15:45
  obligation for an atheist to just simply love, everybody or
• 15:50
  care about everybody. Unless you have been raised up
• 15:55
  in some kind of religion to teach you that we're all Cosmic,
• 15:59
  family members that we should love each other.

  I understand that through Evolution.

  A lot of people believe they're related to damn near everything
• 16:13
  from strawberries to sponges through Evolution.

  But using Evolution as a way to try to pull somebody out of
• 16:22
  severe depression, doesn't seem very useful.

  It doesn't seem helpful saying oh we all evolved from the Slime
• 16:32
  together and you know, we're just Cosmic Stardust kids just

  trying to do our thing. Where's the value in it?

  What's the benefit? What's the advantage?

  What is the anything with that? At the end of the day?

  If you don't have the tools, according to Evolution, if you

  don't have the utilities that you require according to
• 16:55
  non-believers, then you simply don't survive, you simply die

  and it's too bad and nature. Doesn't give a shit.

  Nature doesn't care if you suffer doesn't care, if you're

  in turmoil. And it's one of the reasons why

  it frightens me the idea of so many non-believers doing the

  shows and the videos that they do.

  Because I know for a fact that there are children out there

  that are sick and dying. I know there are adults out

  there that are on their last leg.

  They've got one foot in the grave and they're being told by
• 17:30
  other people that there's simply no reason whatsoever.

  That it's actually irrational and illogical to have any kind
• 17:38
  of Hope whatsoever. Does that make sense?

  I know for a fact that there was a young girl a while back, she
• 17:51
  was between 13 and 14 years old and she found out she had cancer

  and she was strumming through the YouTube channels watching
• 17:59
  videos especially of non-believers because she was
• 18:02
  trying to find the truth. She wanted to know what was
• 18:05
  going to happen whenever she died.

  What do you think? Brought her more happiness?

  What do you think was better for her and her family to believe
• 18:14
  that there's a transition? She will make that.

  She Be a part of another life something where she will never
• 18:21
  suffer or have pain anymore. That one day, she'll be with
• 18:25
  their mother and father or would it be better to tell her?

  I'm sorry. But you unfortunately got bad,

  mutations, your genetics weren't up to par.

  So now you die. And it's over.

  I know a lot of you out there, you just trying to have fun and

  you just trying to live, what little life you believe you

  have. But when you have those moments

  Shadows on the wall, What comes to mind?

  What happens when you find yourself slipping down the
