- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice for sure. It's hell. Welcome to the Naughty Went
- 0:16Speaker 1: Nice Show'm your host, Rob Shooter. It is Monday morning
- 0:19Speaker 1: here in New York City. It's actually be my second
- 0:21Speaker 1: show of the day. I take the show earlier with Garrett,
- 0:24Speaker 1: but because of technical issues, it didn't work out. So
- 0:27Speaker 1: I'm going to do a solo on Today Noughties because
- 0:29Speaker 1: I love doing this. I absolutely love doing it and
- 0:31Speaker 1: get this. It's gonna be a good show because I've
- 0:33Speaker 1: already had a dress rehearsal. I've done this show already.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I will be doing Garrett stories too. What time is it,
- 0:40Speaker 1: my friends, It is tea time. Before we start the show,
- 0:43Speaker 1: I've got to give a shout out. I saw Audrey
- 0:45Speaker 1: McDonald and Gypsy over the weekend. Oh my god. You
- 0:51Speaker 1: understand why she has won more Tony Awards than anybody
- 0:55Speaker 1: in the history any performer in the history of theater.
- 1:00Speaker 1: She's got six Tonies, and I predict she's probably gonna
- 1:03Speaker 1: get a seventh. Now. Let me be honest. I've seen
- 1:05Speaker 1: Gypsy two or three times. I saw the Bet Middler movie.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I was dragging my heels a little bit. The New
- 1:11Speaker 1: York Times loved it, gave it a critics pick, so
- 1:13Speaker 1: that helped. But I thought, like I've seen Gypsy. I
- 1:16Speaker 1: love Gypsy. It's one of the best shows of all time. However,
- 1:19Speaker 1: I have seen it a few times. Why was I wrong?
- 1:22Speaker 1: I saw it with brand new fresh eyes because of
- 1:26Speaker 1: Udrum McDonald's performance. Unbelievable, the greatest performance I've seen this year.
- 1:31Speaker 1: She's gonna win Best Actress. I'm sure the show's gonna
- 1:35Speaker 1: get a ton of other nominations too. If you're in
- 1:37Speaker 1: New York, go see Gipsy. Okay, let's get to our
- 1:42Speaker 1: lead story of the day. So this story is a
- 1:46Speaker 1: little controversial. Kim Kardashian is demanding quote justice for incarcerated
- 1:52Speaker 1: fire fighters, saying they are heroes, not cheap labor. Let
- 1:56Speaker 1: me explain. So he Kim is turning up the heat
- 1:59Speaker 1: this time on California's Governor Gavin Newsoen, calling for a
- 2:03Speaker 1: pay raise for incarcerated firefighters risking their lives amid the
- 2:09Speaker 1: raging fires in Los Angeles. I did not know this.
- 2:12Speaker 1: About ten to twenty, maybe as high as thirty percent
- 2:15Speaker 1: of the firefighters working around the clock in LA with
- 2:20Speaker 1: this horrific disaster are incarcerated, so they are led out
- 2:26Speaker 1: of jail to go and work as firefighters, and they
- 2:29Speaker 1: earn one dollar an hour. That's it. One dollar an hour.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Kim is saying that is an inhume wage and it
- 2:39Speaker 1: has to change. She said, quote, these men and women
- 2:42Speaker 1: are saving lives working twenty four hour shifts. They are
- 2:47Speaker 1: proving they have changed, yet they're paid almost nothing. Kim
- 2:52Speaker 1: went on to say, they're heroes and they deserve to
- 2:55Speaker 1: be treated like it controversial here often wants to talk
- 3:01Speaker 1: about the criminal justice system, and I tip my hat
- 3:04Speaker 1: to her. It is so much easier for celebrities to
- 3:08Speaker 1: follow a music charity or a charity about children, a
- 3:11Speaker 1: less controversial charity. But Kim's not having that love or hater.
- 3:15Speaker 1: She's not afraid to press buttons to talk about stuff
- 3:19Speaker 1: in society that is real. Having a conversation about people
- 3:23Speaker 1: in jail is a real conversation and one that can
- 3:26Speaker 1: get very, very heated. Some people have certain views, some
- 3:30Speaker 1: people have other views, and bringing people together is very difficult,
- 3:34Speaker 1: particularly in a time of crisis like right now. A
- 3:37Speaker 1: lot of people wish Kim was more focused on the
- 3:40Speaker 1: victims here, but the firefighters are heroes and does it
- 3:45Speaker 1: matter if one two fifty thirty percent of those firefighters
- 3:51Speaker 1: are incarcerated. I'm trying to find out how this works.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Sources tell me they're not just empty in the prisons.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So if you have serious, serious crimes murder, rape, you're
- 4:01Speaker 1: not a firefighter. They don't let you out to fight
- 4:04Speaker 1: fires and come back. But if you have a low
- 4:06Speaker 1: risk crime or maybe marijuana, maybe paperwork crime, maybe stuff
- 4:12Speaker 1: business crime, maybe stuff like that, those are the people
- 4:17Speaker 1: that are allowed out. They come back. But Kim is
- 4:21Speaker 1: not afraid here to have this massive, massive conversation that
- 4:24Speaker 1: I think celebrities and even regular folks I avoid this
- 4:28Speaker 1: sort of stuff. I don't like talking about it. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: don't really like thinking about it. If the truth be told,
- 4:33Speaker 1: it's not that I have views that I'm ashamed of.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's something I've not spent enough time thinking about it.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And I'm going to think about it over the next
- 4:39Speaker 1: couple of days, and that's going to be our pole
- 4:41Speaker 1: question of the day. I can't wait to hear your
- 4:43Speaker 1: result on this one. Kim Kardashian is demanding quote justice
- 4:48Speaker 1: for incarcerated firefighters with earning just one dollar an hour.
- 4:53Speaker 1: That does feel like cheap labor, doesn't it? Is she right?
- 4:56Speaker 1: I haven't think about it today. What do you think?
- 4:58Speaker 1: I think people who's home burning down they want help
- 5:02Speaker 1: and they don't care what your background is. Do they
- 5:06Speaker 1: want convicted murderers on their property? I'm assuming not. However,
- 5:11Speaker 1: if they could have people who had committed low level
- 5:14Speaker 1: crimes come and save their homes, I think they'd say
- 5:17Speaker 1: yes to that. What about you if your home was
- 5:20Speaker 1: in danger, who would you want to put out the fire?
- 5:24Speaker 1: I think anybody, anybody that's willing to help, would you
- 5:28Speaker 1: turn them away? And so think about this one. It's
- 5:30Speaker 1: a tough question. Normally on the show, we want happy, happy,
- 5:33Speaker 1: fun stories and I promise we will uplift you today
- 5:36Speaker 1: with more good stories, although the fires do dominate today's episode.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But what do you think about this one? Is Kim
- 5:42Speaker 1: Kardashian rite? Go vote on at Twitter page I had
- 5:46Speaker 1: Naughty Nized Rob or a Facebook page which is Naughty
- 5:49Speaker 1: Gossip and be sure to check back to Mark Rawer
- 5:52Speaker 1: to hear your results. Okay, moving along, Prince Harry and
- 5:56Speaker 1: Meghan had a sweet gesture for the victims of the
- 5:59Speaker 1: La fire. They said that they went out to meet people.
- 6:03Speaker 1: In fact, they joined the mare to pass out snacks
- 6:06Speaker 1: from a food cart. But when the Duke approached an
- 6:10Speaker 1: elderly bed written man with a sandwich and some water,
- 6:14Speaker 1: the man surprised him. He didn't recognize Harry. He asked,
- 6:18Speaker 1: can I get a donut? And Harry said, there are
- 6:21Speaker 1: no donuts here, but you know what, I'm going to
- 6:23Speaker 1: go and find one for you. He went off he
- 6:26Speaker 1: found a donut. Ten minutes later, he came back and
- 6:28Speaker 1: gave the gentleman the sweet treat. The gentleman was overwhelmed
- 6:33Speaker 1: with you. He said, I guess I need my carbs
- 6:35Speaker 1: and my sugar maybe, And then he smiled and said,
- 6:38Speaker 1: I don't really know who you are, but if ever
- 6:40Speaker 1: you run for anything, I would vote for you. Harry
- 6:43Speaker 1: was left grinning ear to ear, just a beautiful, sweet gesture.
- 6:47Speaker 1: It reminded me of his mommy, Princess Diana. This is
- 6:50Speaker 1: the sort of thing that she would do, and it's
- 6:53Speaker 1: amazing in a moment of need, it's the simple stuff
- 6:55Speaker 1: that you really want. He just wanted a donut. After
- 6:58Speaker 1: the hell that this gentleman and had been through, he
- 7:01Speaker 1: just wanted a sweet treat, and Harry made sure that
- 7:06Speaker 1: it happened. Now we have to point out there has
- 7:09Speaker 1: been some backlash to Harry and Meghan, people blasting them online,
- 7:14Speaker 1: particularly as quote disaster tourists. I've never heard that phrase before,
- 7:19Speaker 1: but actress turned producer Justine bait Men she was on
- 7:24Speaker 1: Family Tie, she went to ex formally Twitter to voice
- 7:28Speaker 1: her disdain. After the Duke and the duchess were spotted
- 7:31Speaker 1: visiting an evacuation center supporting victims. She said the following
- 7:37Speaker 1: it's harsh quote Meghan, Markele and Harry are no better
- 7:42Speaker 1: than ambulance chasers. She said, what a repulsive photo op
- 7:47Speaker 1: they achieved. Now, the actress shared footage of the couple
- 7:51Speaker 1: at the center, questioning their motives, saying, quote, they are
- 7:56Speaker 1: touring the damages. Are they politicians? Now? They don't live here.
- 8:02Speaker 1: They are tourists, disaster tourists. Some people are quick to
- 8:09Speaker 1: defend them, saying why criticize people who are trying to
- 8:12Speaker 1: make a difference, And other people have said helping people
- 8:17Speaker 1: and raising awareness is not being a tourist, it's being
- 8:22Speaker 1: a human being. Megan's done something remarkable as well. She's
- 8:26Speaker 1: delayed her much talked about new Netflix show. This show
- 8:29Speaker 1: means a lot to Megan. She's rejoined Instagram. We've spoke
- 8:32Speaker 1: about it on AS show. It was meant to debut
- 8:34Speaker 1: in just two days on January fifteenth, but now it's
- 8:37Speaker 1: been pushed back at her request because of the devastation
- 8:40Speaker 1: in LA. She wrote in a really heartfelt statement, quote,
- 8:44Speaker 1: my thanks to my partners at Netflix for supporting me
- 8:49Speaker 1: in delaying the launch of my show, as we need
- 8:52Speaker 1: to focus on those impacted by the wildfires in my
- 8:55Speaker 1: home state of California. Some people are calling this a
- 8:59Speaker 1: classy move. Some people are saying she knows what's important.
- 9:02Speaker 1: A TV show doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter. It's
- 9:05Speaker 1: not being canceled. Some people are going to say, oh,
- 9:07Speaker 1: trouble with the show. It's being delayed. She requested this.
- 9:10Speaker 1: She didn't want the show to debut in two days.
- 9:14Speaker 1: She wanted a little time to pass. Now it's going
- 9:16Speaker 1: to be in March. The good thing about the show,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and like our show, AS, is a new show. So
- 9:20Speaker 1: if I delayed this show in two months, this episode
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm taping right now, we're broadcasting right now, it would
- 9:26Speaker 1: be old news. Well, when you're cooking a cake or
- 9:28Speaker 1: making jam, or in the garden, that's called evergreen and
- 9:31Speaker 1: in TV. It's really desirable. The reason we don't see
- 9:35Speaker 1: more gossip entertainment shows on television is they have no
- 9:38Speaker 1: shelf life. Where a show on making over a home,
- 9:41Speaker 1: a show on baking cakes, you can air that whenever,
- 9:45Speaker 1: any month, any year, two years from now. It's still
- 9:47Speaker 1: the same recipe, it's still the same cake. And so
- 9:49Speaker 1: that is what what produces, what networks like. And Megan's
- 9:53Speaker 1: done that so her show can be delayed here and
- 9:56Speaker 1: it's not going to feel outdated or tired. So Megan,
- 9:59Speaker 1: I think you made the right decision. Now, this story
- 10:03Speaker 1: is really interesting. A reporter, a local reporter for NBC
- 10:07Speaker 1: in Los Angeles, who is covering the evacuations, stopped a
- 10:12Speaker 1: gentleman while he was evacuating his home to talk to him.
- 10:16Speaker 1: That gentleman turned out to be celebrity Dennis Quaid. At
- 10:19Speaker 1: to Dennis. Now, some people are saying this was like
- 10:22Speaker 1: a paparazzi moment, and shame on you. And it went
- 10:26Speaker 1: on for twenty minutes, and you're harassing the guy and
- 10:29Speaker 1: invading his privacy, and the people are saying, Dennis stopped.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Nobody made him stop. He saw the guy, he went
- 10:36Speaker 1: up to him. I've watched the video. It was a
- 10:39Speaker 1: long interview, but that's because Dennis had a lot to say.
- 10:41Speaker 1: He really wanted to use this opportunity to frantically tell
- 10:45Speaker 1: people get out, and he also said something really important.
- 10:49Speaker 1: He shared some really good safety advice, urging all the
- 10:52Speaker 1: residents to turn off their gas before evacuating. So turn
- 10:56Speaker 1: off your gas so they don't get more explosions. Now
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm mixed on this one. I believe that you know
- 11:03Speaker 1: these reporters. We've seen them on the news. They're doing
- 11:05Speaker 1: amazing work, and it is their job to interview people,
- 11:08Speaker 1: to report on the devastation, to report on the fires.
- 11:11Speaker 1: And if you see someone, particularly if they're famous, you
- 11:14Speaker 1: do ask them a question. I'd ask him a question
- 11:16Speaker 1: and then you let him go on. But if he
- 11:18Speaker 1: wants to stand there and talk, if Dennis wanted to
- 11:20Speaker 1: stand there, I didn't get any sense that Dennis was
- 11:24Speaker 1: being held against his will. I didn't get any sense
- 11:27Speaker 1: that the reporter was harassing him. He kept asking questions
- 11:31Speaker 1: and Dennis kept Dennis kept answering them, and I think
- 11:34Speaker 1: you can say, I gotta go, I gotta pack, I
- 11:37Speaker 1: gotta get my family out. Thank you for your attention. Goodbye.
- 11:40Speaker 1: He didn't, and so he used this opportunity Dennis did
- 11:44Speaker 1: as a way to educate the public. And I think
- 11:47Speaker 1: the same is true of the reporter here. I'm going
- 11:49Speaker 1: to defend this reporter. What do you think about this one?
- 11:52Speaker 1: It's a tricky one, isn't it, Because you want to say,
- 11:53Speaker 1: leave people alone, they're evacuated, but you also want to
- 11:56Speaker 1: tell their story and people as a matter, if you're
- 12:00Speaker 1: a celebrity or not, when a crisis is happening. I
- 12:03Speaker 1: remember once asking Diane Sawyer she interviewed some people after
- 12:06Speaker 1: a tragedy and I couldn't understand why why they wanted
- 12:10Speaker 1: to talk to Diane, and she said it was cathartic.
- 12:12Speaker 1: They want to talk after something horrific happens. Everybody wants
- 12:16Speaker 1: to tell their story. And if you listen as a reporter,
- 12:20Speaker 1: you don't always have to ask questions. That's the mistake
- 12:23Speaker 1: a lot of reporters make. You're not there to always ask,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but you are always there to listen, listen to people.
- 12:31Speaker 1: If you shut up for long enough, and believe me,
- 12:34Speaker 1: even though I talk a lot, I know want to
- 12:37Speaker 1: shut up. If you shut up and listen, people will
- 12:40Speaker 1: tell you everything. Angelina and her son we spotted them
- 12:44Speaker 1: out to They said that they are taking people into
- 12:47Speaker 1: their homes. So friends, I don't think it's strangers. I
- 12:50Speaker 1: think you've got to know her. You can't just rock
- 12:51Speaker 1: up at Angelina's house and expect a bedroom. But they've
- 12:54Speaker 1: said they've reached out to all their friends in LA
- 12:56Speaker 1: who have lost homes or have been evacuated. And Angelina
- 12:59Speaker 1: said she is taking care of people. And so this
- 13:02Speaker 1: is this is a total, total group effort. Celebrities, regular people,
- 13:08Speaker 1: everybody's coming together in LA to try and help, to
- 13:13Speaker 1: try to do whatever they can, even people like Angelina Jolie.
- 13:18Speaker 1: She was spotted at a supermarket with her son buying provisions.
- 13:22Speaker 1: They were buying water, bottled goods, groceries, and they were
- 13:27Speaker 1: taking the supplies in their car to the places that
- 13:30Speaker 1: were handing them out. It's amazing. We sometimes put celebrities
- 13:35Speaker 1: on pedestals, don't we, But at the end of the day,
- 13:38Speaker 1: they are just like us. Okay, quickly, before we get
- 13:41Speaker 1: a break, just a little bit of good news. Here,
- 13:43Speaker 1: something that made me smile. You might have missed it.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Friday hod Us last day on the Today Show, and
- 13:48Speaker 1: she had a big Goodbye. They taped it at seth
- 13:51Speaker 1: Mayer's studio, so if it looks a little different from
- 13:53Speaker 1: the set that she usually uses with Jenna, it was.
- 13:56Speaker 1: They moved to the studio inside thirty Rock Upset. I
- 14:00Speaker 1: think it's on the eighth floor to take the show
- 14:02Speaker 1: so they could have an audience. Well, one of the
- 14:04Speaker 1: nicest moments of the show is Kathy Lee Gifford sent
- 14:07Speaker 1: a video from her home in ten apologizing that she
- 14:12Speaker 1: couldn't make it in person. She's gone through some health
- 14:15Speaker 1: issues recently. I know her hips, her knees, and so
- 14:19Speaker 1: Hoda was thrilled, but she did miss her friend not
- 14:22Speaker 1: being there. Kathy Lee changed her life when they started
- 14:26Speaker 1: this show together. Well, then after the video ended and
- 14:30Speaker 1: there was a tier or two guess who walked out
- 14:33Speaker 1: to surprise her. Kathy Lee Gifford, turn up for your friends,
- 14:39Speaker 1: turn up for these moments. I spoke to friends of
- 14:43Speaker 1: Kathy Lee and they said she wasn't going to come
- 14:45Speaker 1: at first. She has had a few health issues. But
- 14:47Speaker 1: this is holder and this is when you suck it
- 14:49Speaker 1: up and if you can do it, you do do it.
- 14:51Speaker 1: And my sources tell me she wouldn't miss it for
- 14:55Speaker 1: the world. I tell you who we are going to
- 14:56Speaker 1: miss though, holder did you watch the Today Show this morning?
- 15:00Speaker 1: I watched a little bit of it. I like Craig
- 15:01Speaker 1: and I love Savannah. I think they're going to be
- 15:04Speaker 1: just fine. But I gotta admit I did miss myself
- 15:07Speaker 1: a little hooder magic. She really is an amazing person. Okay,
- 15:11Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:13Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Night
- 15:17Speaker 1: shop your heads, Ram Shooter Worth flying solo today. Well,
- 15:21Speaker 1: when I say solo, it means I don't have Garrett,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I don't have a co host today, but I've always
- 15:25Speaker 1: got you, Naughty You, so I never feel alone. You're
- 15:27Speaker 1: the co hosts today. Let's get to the polls that
- 15:31Speaker 1: the duh. Last show, we talked about Prince William quote
- 15:34Speaker 1: seizing power from King Charles. Lots of reports out there
- 15:37Speaker 1: that William's really expanding his role. My sources tell me
- 15:40Speaker 1: it's not exactly seizing power. Charles is handing off a
- 15:43Speaker 1: lot of responsibility on William, and he's training William. He's
- 15:46Speaker 1: like an apprentice king. He will be king one day.
- 15:49Speaker 1: He won't be king until his father dies. So it's
- 15:52Speaker 1: a very complicated transition of power. You're full of grief
- 15:55Speaker 1: and at the same time you're starting a new job
- 15:57Speaker 1: that day. He wants William to be prepared and so
- 16:01Speaker 1: Charles is a reasonable, realistic type of person, and so
- 16:06Speaker 1: he's helping William during this transition. So it's not just
- 16:09Speaker 1: the sudden shock. So rather than seizing power, I would
- 16:13Speaker 1: say sharing power. But our question was quite simple, are
- 16:16Speaker 1: you cheering William on let's have a look? Eighty five
- 16:19Speaker 1: percent said yes. I think there's really goodwill behind William
- 16:23Speaker 1: and Kate. And even though we are not wishing Charles
- 16:26Speaker 1: any ill will Non whatsoever, I think there's an excitement
- 16:30Speaker 1: about seeing William as the king and what's he going
- 16:34Speaker 1: to do. And it's a new generation, it's a new
- 16:36Speaker 1: page for the monarchy, and so I think we're all
- 16:39Speaker 1: very very excited about that. I know I am, and
- 16:42Speaker 1: Noughty is by this. Powell, you are too, Okay, don't
- 16:45Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's poll. Go to a Twitter
- 16:49Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice Rob or a Facebook page which
- 16:52Speaker 1: is Naughty Gossip, and check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:59Speaker 1: And now it's time for our noisest well for the
- 17:03Speaker 1: day and nicest of the day. A surprised one for
- 17:06Speaker 1: me is John Mayer. You know I'm not fond of John.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I used to work for Jessica Simpson when he was
- 17:10Speaker 1: dating her, and he didn't treat her well, and it's
- 17:11Speaker 1: always left a bad taste in my mouth. However, he
- 17:15Speaker 1: did share a heartfelt message about the LA fires, saying
- 17:19Speaker 1: it's about proof of life. It's a really remarkable message.
- 17:23Speaker 1: It's a simple photograph of a folder containing cherished pictures
- 17:28Speaker 1: of his father. He called it the most valuable thing
- 17:31Speaker 1: I own. He said, quote, this is a folder of
- 17:34Speaker 1: photos of my father, spanning his life from being a baby,
- 17:38Speaker 1: an educator, a husband, and a father. He's the only
- 17:41Speaker 1: evidence of his life that will still exist over time.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Partially too, John, I think his dad's going to live
- 17:48Speaker 1: on in him and his children and his family, and
- 17:51Speaker 1: memories are something you can't take away from us. And
- 17:54Speaker 1: so I do think the reason this has gone viral
- 17:56Speaker 1: is that it's a real moment, isn't it. God forbid
- 17:59Speaker 1: something awful happened to our homes. What would we grab?
- 18:02Speaker 1: You grab your loved ones, you grab your dogs, your pets,
- 18:05Speaker 1: And I think I'd get a photo album too. I
- 18:08Speaker 1: wouldn't pick up the most expensive vas in the house,
- 18:11Speaker 1: or the or the car in the garage. I don't
- 18:13Speaker 1: have a car, but if you do, I would pick
- 18:15Speaker 1: up emotionally valuable things, not financially valuable things. It's a
- 18:20Speaker 1: moment for us all to think about what we value.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And I think, John here not a fan of yours.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You know that. However, I am a fan of this
- 18:28Speaker 1: beautiful message and now and naughty is the day, Naughty, Naughty,
- 18:32Speaker 1: Amy Roback and TJ Holmes. They can't help themselves. So
- 18:35Speaker 1: this is the couple. They got fired from GMA three
- 18:38Speaker 1: after they hooked up together. They say they didn't hook
- 18:42Speaker 1: up until they'd broken up with their spouses. However, the
- 18:45Speaker 1: timeline's a little bit fuzzy there. But nevertheless they got
- 18:48Speaker 1: fired as anchors ABC, and now they're defending David mull
- 18:52Speaker 1: which looks like a nice thing. David's been in the headlines,
- 18:55Speaker 1: very handsome, the nightly news, evening news chap on ABC.
- 19:00Speaker 1: He was out in La. All the serious newspeople are
- 19:03Speaker 1: out in LA doing live shows. And during a live show, David,
- 19:09Speaker 1: who was wearing one of those yellow jackets that we
- 19:11Speaker 1: see all the reporters and firefighters in. He turned around
- 19:14Speaker 1: to survey the damage. Well, the back of his jacket
- 19:17Speaker 1: was cinched. Had clothed pegs on Amy saying his jacket
- 19:21Speaker 1: was sinched. Does many of us do in the field,
- 19:23Speaker 1: And yes, I have done this myself. Television is a
- 19:26Speaker 1: visual medium. They want a cleaner line, and so she's
- 19:30Speaker 1: trying to defend him. However, David's people tell me they
- 19:33Speaker 1: wish she wouldn't. It's just bringing up something he wants
- 19:36Speaker 1: to put in his past. And probably I don't know
- 19:38Speaker 1: if they're doing this to defend David or to get
- 19:41Speaker 1: a little bit more attention themselves. These two do love
- 19:44Speaker 1: being in the headlines. Let's end with a moment of Rob.
- 19:47Speaker 1: You Robbi, get Rubbi, you get Rob. There's no such
- 19:49Speaker 1: thing as overnight success. So when you watch shows like
- 19:51Speaker 1: American Idol and people are suddenly discovered, what they don't
- 19:54Speaker 1: tell you is the backstory for me to be good
- 19:56Speaker 1: at something for twenty minutes to twenty years. The reason
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm great at this point, it's not because I work
- 20:01Speaker 1: hard for twenty minutes. Now I do, but I've worked
- 20:04Speaker 1: hard for twenty years. I know celebrities, I know this topic.
- 20:08Speaker 1: So put in the work. Put in the work every
- 20:10Speaker 1: single day when nobody is looking, and then pretend you're discovered, five, ten,
- 20:15Speaker 1: twenty years from now, nobody's discovered. You got to do
- 20:19Speaker 1: the work. Hey, that is it for today. Thank you
- 20:22Speaker 1: so much for listening to the Naughty but Nice with
- 20:25Speaker 1: Rob and Naughty Show. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast
- 20:31Speaker 1: wherever you listen. Go and see Gypsy on Broadway. It
- 20:34Speaker 1: is fantastic. And remember all together now, if you're going
- 20:39Speaker 1: to be naughty, you've got to be nice. Take care
- 20:44Speaker 1: everybody here. It's not even nice with rub
