- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on. Do your thing. Uh-huh. I sure will. Good morning, everybody.
- 0:07Speaker 1: You all listen to the voice. Come on. Dig me now.
- 0:09Speaker 1: One and only.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Man, got a radio show. Yeah, I do.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Man, God been so good to me over the years.
- 0:21Speaker 2: In spite of all the mistakes I've made. In spite
- 0:24Speaker 2: of all the dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking
- 0:29Speaker 2: about when he had no one, I was wrong. His
- 0:32Speaker 2: grace and mercy has forgiven me for all of my sins.
- 0:38Speaker 2: God can forgive you of all of your sins. Everything
- 0:43Speaker 2: you've done. God can forgive you. He can wipe your
- 0:47Speaker 2: slate clean. Now, you might have some, you know, things
- 0:51Speaker 2: you got to deal with because of some of your actions.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Understand that. But you can wipe your slate clean with
- 0:59Speaker 2: God and start again. You can repent. God has mercy
- 1:03Speaker 2: and grace. You could be forgiven by God. Now, people,
- 1:06Speaker 2: that's another story. Some people may never forgive you for it.
- 1:10Speaker 2: You've heard them all. Or maybe they're accusing you of
- 1:13Speaker 2: doing something else. But, you know, they may never forgive you.
- 1:16Speaker 2: But God is in the redemption business, man. God will
- 1:21Speaker 2: forgive you for every sin you've ever committed. But you
- 1:25Speaker 2: got to want forgiveness now. And then you got to
- 1:27Speaker 2: come correct. Because what you can't do is you can't
- 1:30Speaker 2: shoot him to crap now. You can say that conversation
- 1:34Speaker 2: with him. You know, whatever you told your lawyer, whatever
- 1:38Speaker 2: you told the victims, whatever you told, whatever the story
- 1:43Speaker 2: is you got going. If it ain't the truth, you
- 1:46Speaker 2: can say that with God.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Because please know he know. And he know your heart.
- 1:51Speaker 2: He know if you're trying to manipulate somebody just for
- 1:54Speaker 2: the system, if you're trying to say this just so
- 1:56Speaker 2: you can get.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Out, he know all of that.
- 1:58Speaker 2: So if you're planning on shucking him and jiving him,
- 2:01Speaker 2: save your breath before you wind up digging yourself in
- 2:04Speaker 2: a deeper hole. Just let me give you that piece
- 2:07Speaker 2: of advice because he ain't nothing to play with.
- 2:09Speaker 1: He's too great to be played with. And so with
- 2:13Speaker 1: that in mind, I want.
- 2:13Speaker 2: To share some positive stuff with you this morning, man.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I want to say this. I want to remind you.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Not to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your
- 2:24Speaker 2: future or your results. I'm going to say this again.
- 2:28Speaker 2: This is important information, man. Don't let your circumstance and
- 2:33Speaker 2: situations dictate your future or your results. Do you know
- 2:40Speaker 2: that in order to get a different future or some
- 2:44Speaker 2: different results, you control that entire situation?
- 2:48Speaker 1: It is you. It is your thoughts that control the
- 2:51Speaker 1: entire situation.
- 2:53Speaker 2: It is how you look at the situation that will
- 2:56Speaker 2: determine how the situation is for you. See, the same
- 3:00Speaker 2: situation can be totally different for two different people because
- 3:04Speaker 2: you can say you look at the examples of history.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Just just look, look in your neighborhood.
- 3:08Speaker 2: How can there was a book that a guy wrote
- 3:11Speaker 2: one time who had the name?
- 3:13Speaker 1: He had a name.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And he did some research and he found a guy
- 3:17Speaker 2: that grew up at the same age in the same
- 3:20Speaker 2: neighborhood as him with the exact same name. He went
- 3:25Speaker 2: on to become a corporate CEO. The other man was
- 3:28Speaker 2: an inmate and they had the same name, grew up
- 3:34Speaker 2: in the same neighborhood. They were both brothers, you know, not,
- 3:39Speaker 2: I'm just saying brothers, men. And, and they grew and
- 3:43Speaker 2: they went to the right because, How can two people,
- 3:46Speaker 2: the same situation, and the results turn out so different?
- 3:50Speaker 2: It is because of the thought process of one was
- 3:53Speaker 2: completely different from.
- 3:54Speaker 1: The thought process of the other. You control it.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You don't have to let your circumstances and your situations
- 4:00Speaker 2: dictate your future or your results. Here's the way it works.
- 4:05Speaker 2: This is so you can understand this. Your mind is
- 4:09Speaker 2: the controlling factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the
- 4:14Speaker 2: controlling factor of your outcome. The Bible says a man
- 4:19Speaker 2: is as he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture
- 4:23Speaker 2: here because this one is the real deal. This is
- 4:27Speaker 2: the basis of every self-improvement book you'll ever read. It's
- 4:32Speaker 2: already written in the Bible. The Bible has all the
- 4:35Speaker 2: information you need. But in case you need a little
- 4:37Speaker 2: bit of clarity in some simple modern day language, then
- 4:40Speaker 2: they have self-improvement books.
- 4:42Speaker 1: They are all based on biblical scripture. A man is
- 4:46Speaker 1: as he thinketh.
- 4:47Speaker 2: That's why Norman Vincent Peale wrote the book, The Power
- 4:50Speaker 2: of Positive Thinking. That's why a book came out called
- 4:54Speaker 2: The Magic of Thinking Big. That's why a book came
- 4:57Speaker 2: out called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. All
- 5:02Speaker 2: these titles that I've read that have mattered in my
- 5:05Speaker 2: life the most, these three major books that I've read,
- 5:07Speaker 2: they all say one thing, think, thinking, thoughts, because that's
- 5:12Speaker 2: what controls the outcome.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Your brain.
- 5:16Speaker 2: works one of two ways. It works positive or negative.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It works good, which is under the column of positive,
- 5:28Speaker 2: or it'll work evil, which is under the column of negative.
- 5:32Speaker 2: It will have faith, which is under the column of positive,
- 5:36Speaker 2: or you will operate in fear, which is in the
- 5:40Speaker 2: column of negative. That is the only way your mind works.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Your mind is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those
- 5:49Speaker 2: workers are controlled by two formants, formant positive and formant negative.
- 5:55Speaker 2: But guess what? The CEO of the company, the head man,
- 6:00Speaker 2: the boss is you. You come to work in the
- 6:04Speaker 2: morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 6:12Speaker 2: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 6:15Speaker 2: true that I've been thinking about. I'm going to take
- 6:18Speaker 2: another step forward in the development and the changing of
- 6:21Speaker 2: my life in a positive.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Good direction.
- 6:24Speaker 2: If you come to work and say that every day
- 6:26Speaker 2: as the CEO, the boss, the foreman can only obey you.
- 6:31Speaker 2: So what you just said was a series of positive statements,
- 6:35Speaker 2: then forming positive steps to the forefront. He said, I
- 6:39Speaker 2: got you, boss, right away. He turns around, he blows
- 6:42Speaker 2: the whistle. He alerts all the workers in the factory.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Today is a good day. Today we will take steps
- 6:49Speaker 2: towards our future. Today, we are putting ourselves on track
- 6:53Speaker 2: to get a little bit closer to making our.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Dreams come true.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Today, we will be assembling all the things we need
- 7:00Speaker 2: to make our dreams come true and our life better
- 7:02Speaker 2: in the right direction.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Everybody, break.
- 7:05Speaker 2: The workers in the factory turn around and manufacture thoughts
- 7:10Speaker 2: to justify the orders given by the boss, which is you.
- 7:16Speaker 2: You are the CEO of your corporation. If you don't
- 7:20Speaker 2: own nothing else, you own everything that's going on between
- 7:23Speaker 2: your two ears. You are the CEO of that corporation.
- 7:27Speaker 2: If that corporation is a good one, it's because you
- 7:30Speaker 2: set it up that way. If your corporation is a
- 7:32Speaker 2: bad one, it's because you set it up that day.
- 7:35Speaker 2: If you're pushing towards your dreams and you see the
- 7:39Speaker 2: possibility of things happening in your life, it's because you
- 7:42Speaker 2: as the CEO set it up that way. If you
- 7:44Speaker 2: ain't got nothing popping, if you just want to be
- 7:47Speaker 2: a criminal taking stuff from people, throwing your life out
- 7:49Speaker 2: the window, you're going to be an inmate. You're going
- 7:51Speaker 2: to be sitting out there and you're going to be
- 7:52Speaker 2: mad at everybody. You ain't got nobody to be mad
- 7:54Speaker 2: at but you. You understand what I'm telling you this morning. Uh-huh.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
