Lansing Fire Department just made a big move: Kevin Neely, a 20-year veteran with deep roots in the department, has been named assistant chief. Rising through the ranks as a captain and paramedic, Neely also brings classroom experience as a fire science instructor and community involvement through school district firefighter training.
