- 0:00Gold has closed above $2000 per oz for 14 straight weeks.
- 0:06What does that mean for silver? And we have some big news about
- 0:10Silver as well. But let's dig into this crazy
- 0:14price action that we've had in Gold.
- 0:16Our friend Vince Lanci pointed out on an interesting short
- 0:20article that Gold closes its 14th straight week above $2000.
- 0:26Gold ended the week with its best day in February, up six of
- 0:31the last seven days. Guys, Gold is performing super
- 0:35strong. And don't worry one more time.
- 0:38I think this will become a permanent fixture.
- 0:40Remember, the Gold price pulls along the silver price.
- 0:44We'll talk more about that later, but this strong gold
- 0:48price should give silver investors and gold investors
- 0:52something to be very happy about.
- 0:56Other interesting points, orderly.
- 0:58It was a very orderly. Have you noticed that gold has
- 1:01just been very steady Eddy, not a lot of volatility.
- 1:05Now let's not be shocked if we don't have a Sunday at Sunday
- 1:09night slap down. We don't want it to happen.
- 1:12But look, we want to be prepared for the worst case scenario.
- 1:15Occasionally throughout history on Sunday nights, we've seen
- 1:19things like gold get pummeled by 5061 time, even $100 per oz.
- 1:25So let's be mentally prepared. Again, we don't want that to
- 1:29happen. We don't think that's going to
- 1:31happen. I'm not predicting it's going to
- 1:32happen on Sunday night, but we've had a very steady upward
- 1:37movement in the gold price and it gets even more interesting
- 1:42here. Here's a chart showing.
- 1:44I'll show you a quick picture from Vince Lanci.
- 1:47The box there shows 14 straight weeks of gold closing above
- 1:53$2000. This is big news on many levels
- 1:56because we're going to talk about a couple of reasons why
- 1:59and I think maybe we're going to start hearing more about gold
- 2:03and silver in the mainstream media.
- 2:06Vince says this market is being accumulated again, no doubt
- 2:10about it, people are buying gold, bids underneath are
- 2:14keeping a floor under the precious metals prices and
- 2:17shorts are being forced to cover more frequently.
- 2:21Yes, those short, those naked shorts, those people that on the
- 2:24Comex and the LBMA just sell, sell, sell all the paper, make
- 2:29believe silver, they can sell whatever they want, right.
- 2:32Well, they're being forced to cover their shorts which we feel
- 2:36really bad for them, don't we, those price downward price
- 2:39manipulators. We can also confirm our previous
- 2:43reporting and long macro. The long macro players who
- 2:48bought on December 3rd and four days afterwards have expressed
- 2:52their opinions by now also buying options.
- 2:55Now why is this a big deal that we have this a gold price above
- 3:00$2000? OK, let's just look quickly.
- 3:04Where'd it go? Here it is.
- 3:06I drew a new chart. We had a cup and handle chart
- 3:09for silver guys. The most powerful chart pattern
- 3:14in the history of the universe is this, the cup and handle.
- 3:18And this is fresh off the presses.
- 3:20I drew it this morning, a cup and handle chart for gold.
- 3:24Now, couple very interesting things about this.
- 3:26Number one, it starts back in 2011 when we got up close to
- 3:312000 in gold, we got down around what, 1200 thousand, somewhere
- 3:36in that range. In 2020 we went back up.
- 3:40That's the cup. OK?
- 3:42Now, if we go four years out in the future, that's what we have
- 3:46now. That's the handle, OK?
- 3:49This is the most powerful chart pattern in the history of the
- 3:54universe. A lot of the technical people
- 3:56will say it cup and handle pattern is the most reliable,
- 3:59most predictable pattern that's out there.
- 4:03But what's even more critical to think about on this is the
- 4:06longer the period of time that the cup and handle develops, the
- 4:10more reliable and predictable that it becomes.
- 4:13And this is where we are. See, Smiley.
- 4:15See. That's me.
- 4:18Can you smile? I dare you.
- 4:19Who can smile? You know what?
- 4:22I need to smile. Darn it.
- 4:23I keep forgetting to smile. Type smile in the chat if you're
- 4:28going to smile for me right now. All right, there we go.
- 4:31Did I do it? Yep, I did it.
- 4:33Because that's where we are right now.
- 4:35Guys, $2000. We are above $2000.
- 4:39Now from a cup and handle perspective, that's big.
- 4:44But also from the perspective that gold had tried to close
- 4:49above $2000 several times. Like three times.
- 4:53OK, couldn't do it, couldn't do it.
- 4:55November of last year was the first time that gold on a
- 4:59monthly basis closed above $2000 And we've stayed above $2000 and
- 5:05we've got this cup and handle pattern.
- 5:08I'm telling you, the future looks bright.
- 5:10And don't forget, this isn't going to be a normal prop here
- 5:13in the basement, so bear with me.
- 5:15This is the gold price. I didn't put the guy's name on
- 5:18there, Francis Hunt. So I got this idea from the gold
- 5:21price pulls the silver price behind it, right?
- 5:25And when, like we have now, this bungee cord is the silver to
- 5:29gold ratio. When it gets extended, all that
- 5:32energy, when it gets released, boom.
- 5:35OK. I promise I'll only do that once
- 5:39a week from now on. But I think that's a critical
- 5:41under way to understand what's going on between the gold and
- 5:44silver price, The silver to gold ratio, gold to silver ratio,
- 5:48whatever they want to call it. We call it silver to gold ratio
- 5:50here in the basement because we can do as we please.
- 5:53This high silver to gold ratio, mid 80s, ninety, historically
- 5:58high. When it gets resolved right.
- 6:02When that bungee, that 90 turns into 60, this the silver price
- 6:08goes up. All right, now let's just
- 6:12visualize that. But we got a lot of visuals
- 6:14today. Hold on here.
- 6:17Here it is, this long term chart since 1975 of the silver to gold
- 6:27ratio. This is where we are today,
- 6:30right? Right at about 87 on this chart
- 6:3390. This dark area is historically
- 6:36where we've been. This is 60 that's about the
- 6:39average. OK.
- 6:41Again, if gold continues up and this this ratio gets just back
- 6:49to long term average areas, guys, we could have massive
- 6:52price increases in silver alone. It's very interesting
- 6:56developments that we have going on in the gold market, but how
- 7:01they relate to silver as well, everybody's saying right,
- 7:04silver's the most undervalued asset and I got more big news
- 7:08about silver that I want to share with you as well.
- 7:10But if you want to get your hands on some silver, gold, or
- 7:12platinum, you're gonna go online and shop around.
- 7:16Do yourself a favor, throw Pinbex into the mix.
- 7:21I just got a shipment yesterday from Pinbex.
- 7:23It was packed like Fort Knox. It was a box that was nicely
- 7:28taped. Inside that box was another box
- 7:31which was nicely taped. And inside that box was a bunch
- 7:34of packing material and a nice heavy duty rubber plastic bag
- 7:39with another plastic bag inside of it that had the 2023
- 7:44Britannias that I had ordered. I've always been very happy with
- 7:48Pinbex, OK, you get the best price, the best service, and a
- 7:53great selection. I wanted to get some of the 2023
- 7:56Britannias that had King Charles on them because nobody wants
- 7:59them and I think they're going to be valuable someday.
- 8:01Look, I'm not telling you what to do.
- 8:03I'm just recommending you do yourself a favor.
- 8:06It's what I did because one of you recommended to me that I
- 8:09check out Pinbex. Throw them into the mix, compare
- 8:12the prices, read the reviews. I've received overwhelmingly
- 8:17positive feedback about Pinbex. Thank you Pinbex for sponsoring
- 8:21Ron to basement. Ron McAdams.
- 8:23Thank you for that super chat, my friend.
- 8:25Super generous super chats are super appreciated.
- 8:29Never super expected, but they do go a long way to help support
- 8:33the channel. So thank you in advance for for
- 8:36super chats. And thank you, Ron, for that
- 8:38super chat. Let me have a sip of coffee
- 8:39because we got a lot more to talk about, boys and girls.
- 8:43Silver stackers. OK, OK.
- 8:51Wow, it's just getting crazy. OK, call Max.
- 8:53Let's talk about the inventory. We know the silver inventory at
- 8:57the COMEX at the LBMAI don't know what the last three years
- 9:01almost 1/2 billion oz have been drained, right?
- 9:05What about gold? This is very interesting.
- 9:08This comes from ditch the deep state and was on the Silver
- 9:11Adhesion club. This is about gold.
- 9:14The amount of gold in the vault the the the registered gold,
- 9:18that's the gold that these the COMEX has, the LBMA have that
- 9:23they used to back all the paper contracts.
- 9:25Another blowout day on the February gold contract plus the
- 9:29Comex gold bleed that's bleeding continues 4.2 tons departing HSB
- 9:37CS vault year to date. Year to date sit down for this
- 9:41one. Comex registered gold is now
- 9:44down 21 percent, 2.12 million oz.
- 9:48And Comex total is down 11%. All right, wow.
- 9:54The total amount the registered though the registered is the
- 9:57important number. That's the gold that can be used
- 10:00to settle the contracts for delivery.
- 10:02People are taking delivery of the gold.
- 10:05The Chinese want the gold, The rich people want the gold.
- 10:09People are losing faith in the system.
- 10:11They want the gold. The central banks want the gold.
- 10:15People are taking the gold. 20% of the registered inventory at
- 10:19the COMEX is gone. Poof.
- 10:22OK, We need to keep a close eye on this.
- 10:25We know this trend going on around the world that people are
- 10:28moving to gold and again, it's going to bleed through into the
- 10:32silver market. There's absolutely no doubt
- 10:35about it. But the hard data shows us again
- 10:39year to date, Comex register gold down 21%.
- 10:47Let's move on 01 more. One more interesting thing, all
- 10:51right, that we need to touch on that, that everybody is talking
- 10:54about now. But we talked about earlier in
- 10:56the week Stanley Druckenmiller sold tech stocks and moved into
- 11:02gold mining stocks. Stan Druckenmiller's not a gold
- 11:05bug. Stan Druckenmiller's just what
- 11:07you might refer to as a very, very smart investor.
- 11:11OK, a billionaire. One of the smartest guys out
- 11:14there when he, he sold traditional tech, they call it
- 11:17now Amazon, whatever, Facebook, Microsoft and move.
- 11:22And it started moving money into the gold mining sector.
- 11:25Very interesting. Let's talk about debt.
- 11:28Let's talk about debt. Because when the debt bubbles
- 11:31pop, guys, and we've got a debt bubble, people are going to be
- 11:34rushing for silver and gold. When people realize that
- 11:38governments, businesses, corporate right, corporate
- 11:43bankruptcies, government, sovereign debt crisis, and
- 11:46households can't pay their bills, they're gonna be looking
- 11:50for somewhere to go. And who they gonna call?
- 11:52Who they gonna call? They're not gonna call
- 11:54Ghostbusters. No, they're going to call
- 11:57Pinbecs. They're going to call their
- 11:58local coin shop. They're going to be looking for
- 12:00silver and gold. And we know what happened just
- 12:03one year ago right now when we had a little banking crisis,
- 12:08right? People went nuts and you
- 12:10couldn't get silver. And there were six weeks waiting
- 12:13periods if you bought it online. We know that happened.
- 12:17You know what? I think I have this chart.
- 12:19I don't know why. Yeah, here, right?
- 12:22Let's remember there's a chart showing the level of bank
- 12:26failures. That was the great financial
- 12:28crisis. See how many banks guess what
- 12:31last year outdid it and guess what the the the the rescue
- 12:38program the the bailout program, we'll call it what it is, right.
- 12:42We're not going to sugarcoat it that the Fed and the Treasury
- 12:45came up with the bank term funding program that that create
- 12:48that that that stopped this from getting worse.
- 12:53Well they're taking that away from the banks on March 11th.
- 12:57So it's going to be very interesting now as we head into
- 13:00the summer to see how that all plays out.
- 13:03But, but critical to remember, right, I've heard a lot, heard
- 13:11this said many different ways. Now when this debt bubble,
- 13:14right, when it really when people get spooked and the debt
- 13:17market is multiple times bigger than the stock market throughout
- 13:24the world. This is a worldwide situation.
- 13:28When people get spooked and they start to think I might not get
- 13:31paid back on my debt, right. They're going to go to silver
- 13:35and gold. And let's just take a quick look
- 13:37at this, my friend Sean, right. That shows debt to GDP of the
- 13:42developed nations. I mean we've got debt to GDP
- 13:47over 100% in the United here. Let's go through the list.
- 13:50What do you say? the United Kingdom, Belgium,
- 13:52Canada, Spain, Portugal, France, the United States of America,
- 13:57123% debt to GDP? The G7 average of the G7.
- 14:03The big and Western countries, 123, I'm sorry, 128%, Italy,
- 14:09144%, Singapore 168%. Greece, 168% In Japan takes the
- 14:18cake. Number one with a debt to GDP
- 14:21ratio of 255%. That's the line at the top of
- 14:27that page. Do we have a debt problem?
- 14:30Yes. When the debt problem comes to
- 14:33fruition, are people going to run to silver and gold?
- 14:36Yes. Are people really going to run
- 14:39to silver? I think even more so, Yes.
- 14:42Yes, Yes, we had a great demonstration of that, like we
- 14:45just talked about last year during the banking crisis.
- 14:48OK, let's talk about some bad news briefly.
- 14:54Briefly, we'll talk about 2-2 pieces of bad news.
- 15:01The the, the, the gold mining stocks are so far down, we are
- 15:06at historic lows, OK. The ratio that compares gold
- 15:10mining stocks to gold, OK, is at .1.
- 15:13So they called the Huey to gold index.
- 15:16The only negative we could see that's got to be resolved one
- 15:20way or the other. If you take a look at this,
- 15:22that's a long term chart of it. We are right here where the star
- 15:26is at .1. As you can see that is
- 15:29historically low. One or two things has got to
- 15:32happen, either gold mining stocks have got to go up, OK,
- 15:36that will resolve that, that ratio or the price of gold could
- 15:41go down. But do you feel like gold can go
- 15:43down? Do you feel like we're going to
- 15:45go below 2000 on gold again and stay there?
- 15:49Let me know what you think. I'm going to get an idea.
- 15:51OK, I tell you what, if you think that that, that we're
- 15:56gonna be above 2000 from now on, that maybe we'll never see a
- 16:01gold price starting with A1 until we get to 10,000 type
- 16:062000. Oh no.
- 16:09You know what Type above. I'm typing above.
- 16:14I think we're up above. What do you think?
- 16:17I want to see what you think. Do you think?
- 16:19Good morning, Jim McDonough. Good to see you, my friend.
- 16:22Do you think we're above 2000 now for good, or do you think
- 16:25we'll be below? Do you think we'll be below?
- 16:28We'll spend some time below. If you do, type below in the
- 16:31chat so we can get Snakebite above, Wes, above.
- 16:34Shannon above. Mostly above.
- 16:37Morning, everyone. Donald Robinson says above.
- 16:40All right above. Then go back up.
- 16:42OK, Yeah. Andy Oakley.
- 16:44Unfortunately, yes. Hey, Cliff.
- 16:46Good to see you, my friend. Doctor Jekyll above All right.
- 16:51Let's talk about more bad news. Let's talk about this debt.
- 16:55This is some stunning information Crazy Peter.
- 16:59St. orange. St.
- 17:01Orange said put this together and but it comes from the New
- 17:05York Federal Reserve. Recent data says American
- 17:10households is this you American household debt rate was went up
- 17:14by $212 billion in the fourth quarter of last year to a record
- 17:2017. These are households.
- 17:22Remember we have government debt, corporate debt and
- 17:26household debt. OK, record household debt 17.5
- 17:31trillion, or about $140,000 of debt on average per household in
- 17:36the United States. That's up by over $3 trillion
- 17:41since the pandemic. OK, federal debt.
- 17:45This is crazy. I didn't realize this and check
- 17:48me on this if I'm wrong, But federal debt, our government
- 17:52debt is up $10 trillion in the last four years.
- 17:57Is that crazy or what? We think 34 Trillion's crazy.
- 18:01We added ten trillion in just the last four years.
- 18:05It's unbelievable. We have mortgage, mortgage,
- 18:08total mortgage bet debt now is $12 trillion.
- 18:15And we have 1.6 trillion in debt each on car loans and student
- 18:21loans. All right, 1.1 trillion in
- 18:24credit card debt. That's the highest ever.
- 18:27And remember, those are super high rates.
- 18:29If you're carrying a credit card balance, you're probably paying
- 18:3225% interest. It's insane, $6000 per
- 18:37household. But the default rates.
- 18:39This is the scary part. The default rates are starting
- 18:42to skyrocket. Car loans are the 1st place
- 18:46where we're seeing default rates.
- 18:48Cars getting repossessed, starting to go up.
- 18:51People that that bought these overpriced cars during the
- 18:55pandemic can't afford a $1000 car payment while at the same
- 18:59time trying to put food on the table for their family are
- 19:02getting their cars repossessed. What's that?
- 19:07Oh, Susie just yelled at me. We got 100 thumbs up.
- 19:09Hey, thank you guys for the thumbs up.
- 19:11I'm going to ring the bell. Hopefully you can hear that 100
- 19:19times as a sign of our love for each other.
- 19:22I feel corny saying love, but you know what?
- 19:24It's OK for us to love each other, be there for each other,
- 19:27right? We're basement dwellers.
- 19:28We get together. We love to talk about this
- 19:30stuff, gold and silver. And it's a it's a a a mess out
- 19:34there. Cars, credit card delinquencies
- 19:36are on the rise. And what's interesting is that
- 19:40the younger people, the younger generation, right, they're the
- 19:44ones who have the highest default.
- 19:46The people are engaging. If you heard of this, it's
- 19:49called Doom spending. Like, I don't care anymore.
- 19:52I give up. I'm just going to go spend all
- 19:54my money. I'm going to go rack up my
- 19:55credit card debts like Doom spending, maybe?
- 19:58That explains when I was at the Great Wolf Lodge with Susie and
- 20:01the girls earlier in the week, their place was sold out.
- 20:04Maybe those people were Doom spending.
- 20:06Some of them look like they were in Doom World, that's for sure.
- 20:09But none the less, what are people doing?
- 20:11What happened to this idea that you only borrowed money if you
- 20:15needed to, right? Our certainly our government
- 20:18forgot about that. And what about?
- 20:20And I'm just going to rant for one minute, right.
- 20:22What about this idea that our government, how about our
- 20:25government thinks about and starts talking about and taking
- 20:28actions to actually pay the national debt off?
- 20:32Right. Don't you borrow money with the
- 20:34idea that you're going to pay it off instead of this?
- 20:36Well, we'll just borrow all we want.
- 20:38We'll borrow it till what? Why not?
- 20:41Why not? Why are we not hearing about
- 20:43this foreign concept that you actually pay your debts off?
- 20:48You know, I don't know. What do you think about that?
- 20:51Do you think the United States should be focused on paying
- 20:54their debts off? I do.
- 20:56You know, if you do type yes, I'll type yes.
- 21:00I mean, what the heck if I ever borrow money from you or from
- 21:03anybody, a bank, anyone. But the first thing on my mind
- 21:07is how am I going to pay this back?
- 21:08I hate that. You know that.
- 21:10But nonetheless, what's going on?
- 21:12It's there's this, like, this culture that's developing now.
- 21:15Like, you don't have to really pay it back.
- 21:18Hey, maybe, you know, take out some student loans.
- 21:20Maybe someday the president will just magically forgive them.
- 21:23And don't forget, and this makes me very angry, Those student
- 21:27loans that are being forgiven, they're not being forgiven.
- 21:31They're just being transferred from the person that borrowed
- 21:34the money to the American taxpayer.
- 21:37You and me are picking up the tab.
- 21:39OK? There's no other way around
- 21:41that. There's no magic voodoo like,
- 21:43oh, we'll just forget about it. No, you and I are the ones
- 21:47picking up the tab for that. So let's talk about silver,
- 21:56because I want, I want to get the Tonka truck up again, but I
- 21:58won't. Silver is very interesting.
- 22:02Silver is coiling for a big, big move.
- 22:07OK. I was looking at the cup and
- 22:08handle. There's a cup and handle on the
- 22:10silver chart that goes back decades and decades and it
- 22:14starts at 50, hits 50 again and now we're starting on our way
- 22:19up. We got a lot more to go, but
- 22:21when we get above 50 again and silver, it's going to be off to
- 22:25the races. Andrew McGuire was saying
- 22:29there's there's a very interesting situation developing
- 22:33in the silver market and the only place I'm hearing this
- 22:36talked about is with Andrew McGuire, maybe because he has
- 22:38such an in depth knowledge of the mechanics of how the markets
- 22:42work, in particular the gold and silver markets.
- 22:45But it's super interesting to realize there's a bigger market
- 22:50out there than just me and you at our local coin shop or buying
- 22:54bullion online. We tend to focus in on that,
- 22:58right? The bigger part of the market is
- 23:00the wholesale market and there are some crazy developments
- 23:04apparently going on in the wholesale silver market.
- 23:09The demand in the wholesale market is through the roof.
- 23:12It's been building over the last few weeks and is now at almost
- 23:16what they're calling unprecedented levels.
- 23:20The manipulator traders, this is the interesting part.
- 23:24Haven't caught on to it yet, but apparently it has something to
- 23:27do with India basically saying we'll buy all the wholesale
- 23:32silver that you can sell us at this current spot price and
- 23:36people are scrambling in the wholesale markets to find the
- 23:40silver to fill these orders, right.
- 23:43We don't see that now on a retail, you know, local coin
- 23:48shop level, right, with with Britannia's like I got from
- 23:52Pimbeck's the other day or if you run to your local coin shop
- 23:54today and buy some American Silver Eagles or whatever,
- 23:58there's a surplus right now. Kind of the opposite has
- 24:00happened in the retail market, but apparently on the wholesale
- 24:04market. And guys, I would argue like to
- 24:07us, the retail market's important, right?
- 24:10But in the end, when it comes to the big picture for silver, the
- 24:14wholesale market is actually much, much more important.
- 24:18That's where massive demand growth is occurring right now.
- 24:24Now on top of that, just so we can feel warm and fuzzy, which
- 24:28is always a top priority for us when we come to the basement, we
- 24:31are sitting around the campfire at silver and gold camp right
- 24:35now right, having our conversation on top of this
- 24:38crazy wholesale demand, think about what'll happen.
- 24:42I mean think about what happened just a year ago last time, I'll
- 24:45bring it up today, right when we had a little crisis in the in
- 24:48the retail demand for silver exploded, right.
- 24:52If we've got a wholesale demand explosion and we get right now
- 24:57it's horrible on a scale of one to 10, right.
- 25:00The people I'm talking to on the on the retail investment side of
- 25:04silver are saying we're like like a two, OK, it's not good.
- 25:09But if we go from just two to five or two to four, right,
- 25:13improve a little bit in terms of sentiment and interest in the
- 25:17retail silver investment sector. And couple that with what is
- 25:22already incredible, some people are saying unprecedented demand
- 25:27at the wholesale level, while at the same time we know that the
- 25:32inventories at the Comex and the LBMA had pretty much been
- 25:37depleted, right. I mean they're what at the last
- 25:40I checked, the Comex had like 42,000,000 ounces of silver in
- 25:43their registered category. If all those things come
- 25:46together, that's when we could see the, the compression of that
- 25:52silver to gold ratio from 90 to 50, right?
- 25:58And if we get $2500 gold, right, and we get a $50 silver to gold
- 26:04ratio, if my math is correct, we get so $50 silver, right?
- 26:11Yeah, 5050 * 50 is 2500. So let's keep the big picture in
- 26:20mind here while we look at the There's multiple dynamics,
- 26:23right? We're trying to put together an
- 26:26impossible puzzle, but we're looking at all the hints, all
- 26:30the ideas that are being given to us.
- 26:32Right. Crazy wholesale demand for
- 26:35silver, number one, Right. Horrible demand from retail
- 26:40investors, All right, But. But it can't get much worse.
- 26:45OK. It can.
- 26:47But most likely, retail demand for silver will get better,
- 26:52especially as we're heading into this year with all this
- 26:54craziness that's unfolding around us in the United States
- 26:59domestically, but in the whole in the world as a whole as well.
- 27:04OK, you. And then you continue to look at
- 27:07the fact that there's fewer ounces of silver being pulled
- 27:10out of the ground by the mining companies.
- 27:12Yes, I talked to the CEOs. Yes, nobody's investing any
- 27:17money into silver mining, very little.
- 27:20I mean, somebody who wins the Powerball drawing could
- 27:24basically buy the whole silver mining sector.
- 27:27There's so little money going into it.
- 27:30As we look at all these pictures moving together, these factors
- 27:33moving together, right, We try to try to develop a thesis based
- 27:37upon that. It's not perfect.
- 27:39Nobody can. I can't predict the future.
- 27:41You can't predict the future future, but when we look at all
- 27:43the all the pieces moving together, there's a lot of
- 27:47factors that could become very supportive for much higher
- 27:52silver prices. OK.
- 27:54Much, much higher silver prices because you know, so I won't
- 27:58play with it for a week. But if the gold price goes up to
- 28:012500, right, and the and the and the silver to gold, this elastic
- 28:06band which is the silver to gold ratio, right, gets keeps
- 28:10stretched at 90 and the silver to gold ratio then starts to
- 28:14compress up to 50, right. That's how we get, right.
- 28:19That's how let's turn them on. That's how we get $50 silver.
- 28:28I promise I won't play with my toy trucks anymore till the next
- 28:34live stream. OK?
- 28:37European refiners are sold out of silver supply again.
- 28:40This is according to Andrew McGuire.
- 28:42You can watch them on live from the vault.
- 28:44The guy knows more about the markets than anybody in my
- 28:47opinion. Well, Vince Lancey gives him a
- 28:49run for his money, that's for sure.
- 28:51And maybe Chris Marcus and a couple of other people anyway.
- 28:54Indian demand for for silver at spot prices is massive.
- 29:00Let's not forget what was it 2022 when the when the Indian or
- 29:06the country of India imported like 320 million ounces of
- 29:10silver, like 39% of the entire year's mining production of
- 29:15silver. So this can happen guys, OK,
- 29:19what's going to happen? This is from Janice.
- 29:24Janice sent me an e-mail and she said Bron, she sounded
- 29:29concerned, she was worried. She said, what's going to happen
- 29:33when silver hits $50.00 in my coin shop?
- 29:37What are we? Are we going to be able to cash
- 29:39out? Well, don't cash out everything
- 29:40now don't. I'm not giving financial advice.
- 29:42I'm going to answer this question.
- 29:44She's worried about the coin shops closing down and not
- 29:47buying silver $50. We're going to get to that.
- 29:50But first we want to say thank you.
- 29:52Channel sponsor Fortuna Silver. There are silver and gold miner
- 29:57with five operating mines. I believe they have one of the
- 30:01stronger balance sheets in the industry.
- 30:03They position themselves to be able to weather any precious
- 30:07metals market, but really harvest big gains when we have
- 30:11big gains in the price of silver and gold.
- 30:14You can learn more about them at fortuneissilver.com.
- 30:17First mining Gold Canadian Gold Developer 2.
- 30:22Not 1/2 5 million oz. Development projects in Canada
- 30:27and they have either ownership or a interest in four other
- 30:31projects in Canada. But those two projects, Spring
- 30:34Pool in Ontario, 2 Parquet in Quebec, each have at least 5
- 30:37million ounces of gold in the ground.
- 30:40They're moving through the the exciting development phase right
- 30:44now so they'll be catalyst rich over the next couple years.
- 30:48Look, the reality is the big mining companies have not
- 30:51invested into their pipeline, right.
- 30:54The number of reserves that the big gold mining companies, and
- 30:58it's true for silver mining companies to their reserves,
- 31:01have gone down. There's going to be a point
- 31:03where these big companies aren't going to be able to produce as
- 31:06much silver and gold. It's a depleting business.
- 31:09That will be good for the silver price and the gold price, right?
- 31:15But it'll also be good for companies like First Mining Gold
- 31:18that have projects that are moving through the permitting
- 31:21phase that it could be ready to go and fill that void that these
- 31:25big mining companies will need to fill.
- 31:27But again, that's one of the critical key components that we
- 31:31like to talk about in regards to really the silver price.
- 31:35We we focus on that. I mean these mining companies,
- 31:40their pipelines are running dry. You know, there just isn't a lot
- 31:43of silver out there. The fundamentals are in place.
- 31:46Thank you. Craig Edmonds, thank you for
- 31:48that super chat, my friend. Thank you, Craig.
- 31:53The fundamentals are definitely in place.
- 31:55Now Janice is worried that if silver goes to $50 per oz, she's
- 31:58not going to be able to sell any of her silver.
- 32:01First thing I would say is don't sell all your silver if you're
- 32:04going to sell, you know, I, I you do whatever you want.
- 32:07But I would say maybe sell a third, sell 1/2, right?
- 32:11Because if you do an all or nothing type thing, you're
- 32:15really taking a big risk, right? If you sell half and hope the
- 32:19price continues upward, so the half you kept continues to go up
- 32:22in value, right, which a lot of US silver stackers believe it
- 32:26will. But she's concerned that you
- 32:28won't even be able to get rid of your silver if the price gets to
- 32:30$50. I would argue, and I don't mean
- 32:34this in an argumentative way, but I would argue that yes, you
- 32:36will. Because if, if and when silver
- 32:39gets to $50, it's going to be because market forces broke.
- 32:44The paper market broke the electronic market, the COMEX and
- 32:47the LBMA, the demand for silver overwhelmed the market.
- 32:52So that same demand that drove the price to 50 to 40 to 35 to
- 32:5960, The only thing that's going to drive the price is demand.
- 33:03So I would argue that you'll easily still be able to sell
- 33:08your silver at that level that they'll be, you know, if silver
- 33:12gets to $50, it'd be like when gold blasted off a few times in
- 33:16the past and you start getting those Flyers in the mail, we'll
- 33:18buy your junk gold, we'll buy your.
- 33:20You'll see Flyers in your mailbox telling you, thank you,
- 33:25Neil. Hey, thank you, Neil, for the
- 33:27Super chat. Super chat, Neil.
- 33:31You'll get Flyers in your mailbox saying bring us
- 33:33grandma's silverware, we want your silver.
- 33:36They will be clamoring to buy silver.
- 33:38So it might actually. I understand the concern and I
- 33:41don't have a crystal ball, right, but the only thing that's
- 33:45going to get us the $50 silver is going to be the demand And
- 33:49that demand is still going to be there, is still going to be
- 33:52there at $50 silver, right? It may go to $60.00 silver, it
- 33:56may. Who knows, right?
- 33:57We've talked about this, how high it can go.
- 34:00So you know the other thing to think about also, like we talked
- 34:06about earlier, this wholesale demand for silver.
- 34:08And if the price goes to 50 and the wholesalers are scrambling,
- 34:12they'll be buying, they'll be buying the silver at a big
- 34:15premium and melting it down, right?
- 34:18They'll be buying all your silver rounds, all your 10 oz
- 34:21bars, and melting it down to make it into 5000 oz bars to
- 34:27satisfy the wholesale demand Picture Okay.
- 34:31So that's what I see coming guys.
- 34:34We've got really a lot to be happy about with this gold price
- 34:4014 weeks above $2000, right? I think we closed the spot price
- 34:46on Friday, what 2032 thousand 40, remember right, Gold Leeds
- 34:52Silver. I'm not going to pull up the
- 34:54Tonka truck for you again but we need to remember that OK and
- 34:58that there are so many great accomplishments that have been
- 35:03made with the gold price, right. Not just the 14 weeks but the
- 35:06November the 1st monthly close above $2000 and the fact that
- 35:12the cup and handle pattern. I'm not going to say it's broken
- 35:16out yet but it sure looks like it's itching to break out and if
- 35:21we get, if we get you know look who was it just the other day
- 35:25some big big name was it city I think it was city said that that
- 35:30we we could see $3000 gold within the next 18 months.
- 35:34Where do you think Silver's going to be if we get to $3000
- 35:38gold, right? Because you know what?
- 35:40If we get to $3000 gold, people are going to be clamoring for
- 35:44gold. But then they're going to look
- 35:45at silver and be like, you know, maybe silver initially only
- 35:48rallies to 30 or $35 per oz, but they're going to look and say I
- 35:53can buy 100 ounces of silver for the same price I can buy gold.
- 35:58Silver is going to catch up. It's going to be the elastic
- 36:01band contracting and it can over perform and maybe that's when
- 36:07like Jana said, right. Maybe that is when you want to
- 36:09consider getting rid of some of your silver if you're a person.
- 36:15I buy it as a generational investment, OK?
- 36:17I buy whatever I ever used. But silver, I get it.
- 36:20I take it off site, store it off site and save it as a
- 36:25generational investment. My kids, my grandkids, you know,
- 36:29say I'll tell you a story. Yesterday was my daughter's
- 36:31birthday. They turned 12 and Sassy Silver
- 36:36gave them a nice Kookaburra coins, Very nice.
- 36:39Thank you Sassy Silver for doing that.
- 36:41They love them. But I also got this little
- 36:44shipment in the mail from Pimbex, the King Charles
- 36:50Britannias that I bought and I felt guilty.
- 36:56I was feeling guilty. I'm like, it's my daughter's
- 36:58birthday and I'm getting this package in the mail.
- 37:00And I thought, you know what? This is actually a gift for them
- 37:05that they don't realize, because I envision this as something
- 37:09that they're going to get someday.
- 37:11And I know, I know that those silver Britannia coins with King
- 37:17Charles on them, because they'll be very rare and that's just a
- 37:21maybe just the silver alone is going to be valuable.
- 37:26I thought, I really am giving them a big gift today.
- 37:29A big gift, but they don't necessarily realize it, right?
- 37:33They're 12 years old. To them, a big gift is a new
- 37:36case for their iPhone. Or you know, whatever.
- 37:39You know how kids are. So anyhow, thank you for being
- 37:43here guys. Thank you for your support.
- 37:45Being part of the basement. You guys are always so, so
- 37:49awesome. We couldn't ask for more.
- 37:52Please give this a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel and
- 37:56I'll see you soon. Thank you.
