MASSIVE Gold MOVE Ahead... and BIG Silver News · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
Gold has closed above $2000 per oz for 14 straight weeks.
0:06
What does that mean for silver? And we have some big news about
0:10
Silver as well. But let's dig into this crazy
0:14
price action that we've had in Gold.
0:16
Our friend Vince Lanci pointed out on an interesting short
0:20
article that Gold closes its 14th straight week above $2000.
0:26
Gold ended the week with its best day in February, up six of
0:31
the last seven days. Guys, Gold is performing super
0:35
strong. And don't worry one more time.
0:38
I think this will become a permanent fixture.
0:40
Remember, the Gold price pulls along the silver price.
0:44
We'll talk more about that later, but this strong gold
0:48
price should give silver investors and gold investors
0:52
something to be very happy about.
0:56
Other interesting points, orderly.
0:58
It was a very orderly. Have you noticed that gold has
1:01
just been very steady Eddy, not a lot of volatility.
1:05
Now let's not be shocked if we don't have a Sunday at Sunday
1:09
night slap down. We don't want it to happen.
1:12
But look, we want to be prepared for the worst case scenario.
1:15
Occasionally throughout history on Sunday nights, we've seen
1:19
things like gold get pummeled by 5061 time, even $100 per oz.
1:25
So let's be mentally prepared. Again, we don't want that to
1:29
happen. We don't think that's going to
1:31
happen. I'm not predicting it's going to
1:32
happen on Sunday night, but we've had a very steady upward
1:37
movement in the gold price and it gets even more interesting
1:42
here. Here's a chart showing.
1:44
I'll show you a quick picture from Vince Lanci.
1:47
The box there shows 14 straight weeks of gold closing above
1:53
$2000. This is big news on many levels
1:56
because we're going to talk about a couple of reasons why
1:59
and I think maybe we're going to start hearing more about gold
2:03
and silver in the mainstream media.
2:06
Vince says this market is being accumulated again, no doubt
2:10
about it, people are buying gold, bids underneath are
2:14
keeping a floor under the precious metals prices and
2:17
shorts are being forced to cover more frequently.
2:21
Yes, those short, those naked shorts, those people that on the
2:24
Comex and the LBMA just sell, sell, sell all the paper, make
2:29
believe silver, they can sell whatever they want, right.
2:32
Well, they're being forced to cover their shorts which we feel
2:36
really bad for them, don't we, those price downward price
2:39
manipulators. We can also confirm our previous
2:43
reporting and long macro. The long macro players who
2:48
bought on December 3rd and four days afterwards have expressed
2:52
their opinions by now also buying options.
2:55
Now why is this a big deal that we have this a gold price above
3:00
$2000? OK, let's just look quickly.
3:04
Where'd it go? Here it is.
3:06
I drew a new chart. We had a cup and handle chart
3:09
for silver guys. The most powerful chart pattern
3:14
in the history of the universe is this, the cup and handle.
3:18
And this is fresh off the presses.
3:20
I drew it this morning, a cup and handle chart for gold.
3:24
Now, couple very interesting things about this.
3:26
Number one, it starts back in 2011 when we got up close to
3:31
2000 in gold, we got down around what, 1200 thousand, somewhere
3:36
in that range. In 2020 we went back up.
3:40
That's the cup. OK?
3:42
Now, if we go four years out in the future, that's what we have
3:46
now. That's the handle, OK?
3:49
This is the most powerful chart pattern in the history of the
3:54
universe. A lot of the technical people
3:56
will say it cup and handle pattern is the most reliable,
3:59
most predictable pattern that's out there.
4:03
But what's even more critical to think about on this is the
4:06
longer the period of time that the cup and handle develops, the
4:10
more reliable and predictable that it becomes.
4:13
And this is where we are. See, Smiley.
4:15
See. That's me.
4:18
Can you smile? I dare you.
4:19
Who can smile? You know what?
4:22
I need to smile. Darn it.
4:23
I keep forgetting to smile. Type smile in the chat if you're
4:28
going to smile for me right now. All right, there we go.
4:31
Did I do it? Yep, I did it.
4:33
Because that's where we are right now.
4:35
Guys, $2000. We are above $2000.
4:39
Now from a cup and handle perspective, that's big.
4:44
But also from the perspective that gold had tried to close
4:49
above $2000 several times. Like three times.
4:53
OK, couldn't do it, couldn't do it.
4:55
November of last year was the first time that gold on a
4:59
monthly basis closed above $2000 And we've stayed above $2000 and
5:05
we've got this cup and handle pattern.
5:08
I'm telling you, the future looks bright.
5:10
And don't forget, this isn't going to be a normal prop here
5:13
in the basement, so bear with me.
5:15
This is the gold price. I didn't put the guy's name on
5:18
there, Francis Hunt. So I got this idea from the gold
5:21
price pulls the silver price behind it, right?
5:25
And when, like we have now, this bungee cord is the silver to
5:29
gold ratio. When it gets extended, all that
5:32
energy, when it gets released, boom.
5:35
OK. I promise I'll only do that once
5:39
a week from now on. But I think that's a critical
5:41
under way to understand what's going on between the gold and
5:44
silver price, The silver to gold ratio, gold to silver ratio,
5:48
whatever they want to call it. We call it silver to gold ratio
5:50
here in the basement because we can do as we please.
5:53
This high silver to gold ratio, mid 80s, ninety, historically
5:58
high. When it gets resolved right.
6:02
When that bungee, that 90 turns into 60, this the silver price
6:08
goes up. All right, now let's just
6:12
visualize that. But we got a lot of visuals
6:14
today. Hold on here.
6:17
Here it is, this long term chart since 1975 of the silver to gold
6:27
ratio. This is where we are today,
6:30
right? Right at about 87 on this chart
6:33
90. This dark area is historically
6:36
where we've been. This is 60 that's about the
6:39
average. OK.
6:41
Again, if gold continues up and this this ratio gets just back
6:49
to long term average areas, guys, we could have massive
6:52
price increases in silver alone. It's very interesting
6:56
developments that we have going on in the gold market, but how
7:01
they relate to silver as well, everybody's saying right,
7:04
silver's the most undervalued asset and I got more big news
7:08
about silver that I want to share with you as well.
7:10
But if you want to get your hands on some silver, gold, or
7:12
platinum, you're gonna go online and shop around.
7:16
Do yourself a favor, throw Pinbex into the mix.
7:21
I just got a shipment yesterday from Pinbex.
7:23
It was packed like Fort Knox. It was a box that was nicely
7:28
taped. Inside that box was another box
7:31
which was nicely taped. And inside that box was a bunch
7:34
of packing material and a nice heavy duty rubber plastic bag
7:39
with another plastic bag inside of it that had the 2023
7:44
Britannias that I had ordered. I've always been very happy with
7:48
Pinbex, OK, you get the best price, the best service, and a
7:53
great selection. I wanted to get some of the 2023
7:56
Britannias that had King Charles on them because nobody wants
7:59
them and I think they're going to be valuable someday.
8:01
Look, I'm not telling you what to do.
8:03
I'm just recommending you do yourself a favor.
8:06
It's what I did because one of you recommended to me that I
8:09
check out Pinbex. Throw them into the mix, compare
8:12
the prices, read the reviews. I've received overwhelmingly
8:17
positive feedback about Pinbex. Thank you Pinbex for sponsoring
8:21
Ron to basement. Ron McAdams.
8:23
Thank you for that super chat, my friend.
8:25
Super generous super chats are super appreciated.
8:29
Never super expected, but they do go a long way to help support
8:33
the channel. So thank you in advance for for
8:36
super chats. And thank you, Ron, for that
8:38
super chat. Let me have a sip of coffee
8:39
because we got a lot more to talk about, boys and girls.
8:43
Silver stackers. OK, OK.
8:51
Wow, it's just getting crazy. OK, call Max.
8:53
Let's talk about the inventory. We know the silver inventory at
8:57
the COMEX at the LBMAI don't know what the last three years
9:01
almost 1/2 billion oz have been drained, right?
9:05
What about gold? This is very interesting.
9:08
This comes from ditch the deep state and was on the Silver
9:11
Adhesion club. This is about gold.
9:14
The amount of gold in the vault the the the registered gold,
9:18
that's the gold that these the COMEX has, the LBMA have that
9:23
they used to back all the paper contracts.
9:25
Another blowout day on the February gold contract plus the
9:29
Comex gold bleed that's bleeding continues 4.2 tons departing HSB
9:37
CS vault year to date. Year to date sit down for this
9:41
one. Comex registered gold is now
9:44
down 21 percent, 2.12 million oz.
9:48
And Comex total is down 11%. All right, wow.
9:54
The total amount the registered though the registered is the
9:57
important number. That's the gold that can be used
10:00
to settle the contracts for delivery.
10:02
People are taking delivery of the gold.
10:05
The Chinese want the gold, The rich people want the gold.
10:09
People are losing faith in the system.
10:11
They want the gold. The central banks want the gold.
10:15
People are taking the gold. 20% of the registered inventory at
10:19
the COMEX is gone. Poof.
10:22
OK, We need to keep a close eye on this.
10:25
We know this trend going on around the world that people are
10:28
moving to gold and again, it's going to bleed through into the
10:32
silver market. There's absolutely no doubt
10:35
about it. But the hard data shows us again
10:39
year to date, Comex register gold down 21%.
10:47
Let's move on 01 more. One more interesting thing, all
10:51
right, that we need to touch on that, that everybody is talking
10:54
about now. But we talked about earlier in
10:56
the week Stanley Druckenmiller sold tech stocks and moved into
11:02
gold mining stocks. Stan Druckenmiller's not a gold
11:05
bug. Stan Druckenmiller's just what
11:07
you might refer to as a very, very smart investor.
11:11
OK, a billionaire. One of the smartest guys out
11:14
there when he, he sold traditional tech, they call it
11:17
now Amazon, whatever, Facebook, Microsoft and move.
11:22
And it started moving money into the gold mining sector.
11:25
Very interesting. Let's talk about debt.
11:28
Let's talk about debt. Because when the debt bubbles
11:31
pop, guys, and we've got a debt bubble, people are going to be
11:34
rushing for silver and gold. When people realize that
11:38
governments, businesses, corporate right, corporate
11:43
bankruptcies, government, sovereign debt crisis, and
11:46
households can't pay their bills, they're gonna be looking
11:50
for somewhere to go. And who they gonna call?
11:52
Who they gonna call? They're not gonna call
11:54
Ghostbusters. No, they're going to call
11:57
Pinbecs. They're going to call their
11:58
local coin shop. They're going to be looking for
12:00
silver and gold. And we know what happened just
12:03
one year ago right now when we had a little banking crisis,
12:08
right? People went nuts and you
12:10
couldn't get silver. And there were six weeks waiting
12:13
periods if you bought it online. We know that happened.
12:17
You know what? I think I have this chart.
12:19
I don't know why. Yeah, here, right?
12:22
Let's remember there's a chart showing the level of bank
12:26
failures. That was the great financial
12:28
crisis. See how many banks guess what
12:31
last year outdid it and guess what the the the the rescue
12:38
program the the bailout program, we'll call it what it is, right.
12:42
We're not going to sugarcoat it that the Fed and the Treasury
12:45
came up with the bank term funding program that that create
12:48
that that that stopped this from getting worse.
12:53
Well they're taking that away from the banks on March 11th.
12:57
So it's going to be very interesting now as we head into
13:00
the summer to see how that all plays out.
13:03
But, but critical to remember, right, I've heard a lot, heard
13:11
this said many different ways. Now when this debt bubble,
13:14
right, when it really when people get spooked and the debt
13:17
market is multiple times bigger than the stock market throughout
13:24
the world. This is a worldwide situation.
13:28
When people get spooked and they start to think I might not get
13:31
paid back on my debt, right. They're going to go to silver
13:35
and gold. And let's just take a quick look
13:37
at this, my friend Sean, right. That shows debt to GDP of the
13:42
developed nations. I mean we've got debt to GDP
13:47
over 100% in the United here. Let's go through the list.
13:50
What do you say? the United Kingdom, Belgium,
13:52
Canada, Spain, Portugal, France, the United States of America,
13:57
123% debt to GDP? The G7 average of the G7.
14:03
The big and Western countries, 123, I'm sorry, 128%, Italy,
14:09
144%, Singapore 168%. Greece, 168% In Japan takes the
14:18
cake. Number one with a debt to GDP
14:21
ratio of 255%. That's the line at the top of
14:27
that page. Do we have a debt problem?
14:30
Yes. When the debt problem comes to
14:33
fruition, are people going to run to silver and gold?
14:36
Yes. Are people really going to run
14:39
to silver? I think even more so, Yes.
14:42
Yes, Yes, we had a great demonstration of that, like we
14:45
just talked about last year during the banking crisis.
14:48
OK, let's talk about some bad news briefly.
14:54
Briefly, we'll talk about 2-2 pieces of bad news.
15:01
The the, the, the gold mining stocks are so far down, we are
15:06
at historic lows, OK. The ratio that compares gold
15:10
mining stocks to gold, OK, is at .1.
15:13
So they called the Huey to gold index.
15:16
The only negative we could see that's got to be resolved one
15:20
way or the other. If you take a look at this,
15:22
that's a long term chart of it. We are right here where the star
15:26
is at .1. As you can see that is
15:29
historically low. One or two things has got to
15:32
happen, either gold mining stocks have got to go up, OK,
15:36
that will resolve that, that ratio or the price of gold could
15:41
go down. But do you feel like gold can go
15:43
down? Do you feel like we're going to
15:45
go below 2000 on gold again and stay there?
15:49
Let me know what you think. I'm going to get an idea.
15:51
OK, I tell you what, if you think that that, that we're
15:56
gonna be above 2000 from now on, that maybe we'll never see a
16:01
gold price starting with A1 until we get to 10,000 type
16:06
2000. Oh no.
16:09
You know what Type above. I'm typing above.
16:14
I think we're up above. What do you think?
16:17
I want to see what you think. Do you think?
16:19
Good morning, Jim McDonough. Good to see you, my friend.
16:22
Do you think we're above 2000 now for good, or do you think
16:25
we'll be below? Do you think we'll be below?
16:28
We'll spend some time below. If you do, type below in the
16:31
chat so we can get Snakebite above, Wes, above.
16:34
Shannon above. Mostly above.
16:37
Morning, everyone. Donald Robinson says above.
16:40
All right above. Then go back up.
16:42
OK, Yeah. Andy Oakley.
16:44
Unfortunately, yes. Hey, Cliff.
16:46
Good to see you, my friend. Doctor Jekyll above All right.
16:51
Let's talk about more bad news. Let's talk about this debt.
16:55
This is some stunning information Crazy Peter.
16:59
St. orange. St.
17:01
Orange said put this together and but it comes from the New
17:05
York Federal Reserve. Recent data says American
17:10
households is this you American household debt rate was went up
17:14
by $212 billion in the fourth quarter of last year to a record
17:20
17. These are households.
17:22
Remember we have government debt, corporate debt and
17:26
household debt. OK, record household debt 17.5
17:31
trillion, or about $140,000 of debt on average per household in
17:36
the United States. That's up by over $3 trillion
17:41
since the pandemic. OK, federal debt.
17:45
This is crazy. I didn't realize this and check
17:48
me on this if I'm wrong, But federal debt, our government
17:52
debt is up $10 trillion in the last four years.
17:57
Is that crazy or what? We think 34 Trillion's crazy.
18:01
We added ten trillion in just the last four years.
18:05
It's unbelievable. We have mortgage, mortgage,
18:08
total mortgage bet debt now is $12 trillion.
18:15
And we have 1.6 trillion in debt each on car loans and student
18:21
loans. All right, 1.1 trillion in
18:24
credit card debt. That's the highest ever.
18:27
And remember, those are super high rates.
18:29
If you're carrying a credit card balance, you're probably paying
18:32
25% interest. It's insane, $6000 per
18:37
household. But the default rates.
18:39
This is the scary part. The default rates are starting
18:42
to skyrocket. Car loans are the 1st place
18:46
where we're seeing default rates.
18:48
Cars getting repossessed, starting to go up.
18:51
People that that bought these overpriced cars during the
18:55
pandemic can't afford a $1000 car payment while at the same
18:59
time trying to put food on the table for their family are
19:02
getting their cars repossessed. What's that?
19:07
Oh, Susie just yelled at me. We got 100 thumbs up.
19:09
Hey, thank you guys for the thumbs up.
19:11
I'm going to ring the bell. Hopefully you can hear that 100
19:19
times as a sign of our love for each other.
19:22
I feel corny saying love, but you know what?
19:24
It's OK for us to love each other, be there for each other,
19:27
right? We're basement dwellers.
19:28
We get together. We love to talk about this
19:30
stuff, gold and silver. And it's a it's a a a mess out
19:34
there. Cars, credit card delinquencies
19:36
are on the rise. And what's interesting is that
19:40
the younger people, the younger generation, right, they're the
19:44
ones who have the highest default.
19:46
The people are engaging. If you heard of this, it's
19:49
called Doom spending. Like, I don't care anymore.
19:52
I give up. I'm just going to go spend all
19:54
my money. I'm going to go rack up my
19:55
credit card debts like Doom spending, maybe?
19:58
That explains when I was at the Great Wolf Lodge with Susie and
20:01
the girls earlier in the week, their place was sold out.
20:04
Maybe those people were Doom spending.
20:06
Some of them look like they were in Doom World, that's for sure.
20:09
But none the less, what are people doing?
20:11
What happened to this idea that you only borrowed money if you
20:15
needed to, right? Our certainly our government
20:18
forgot about that. And what about?
20:20
And I'm just going to rant for one minute, right.
20:22
What about this idea that our government, how about our
20:25
government thinks about and starts talking about and taking
20:28
actions to actually pay the national debt off?
20:32
Right. Don't you borrow money with the
20:34
idea that you're going to pay it off instead of this?
20:36
Well, we'll just borrow all we want.
20:38
We'll borrow it till what? Why not?
20:41
Why not? Why are we not hearing about
20:43
this foreign concept that you actually pay your debts off?
20:48
You know, I don't know. What do you think about that?
20:51
Do you think the United States should be focused on paying
20:54
their debts off? I do.
20:56
You know, if you do type yes, I'll type yes.
21:00
I mean, what the heck if I ever borrow money from you or from
21:03
anybody, a bank, anyone. But the first thing on my mind
21:07
is how am I going to pay this back?
21:08
I hate that. You know that.
21:10
But nonetheless, what's going on?
21:12
It's there's this, like, this culture that's developing now.
21:15
Like, you don't have to really pay it back.
21:18
Hey, maybe, you know, take out some student loans.
21:20
Maybe someday the president will just magically forgive them.
21:23
And don't forget, and this makes me very angry, Those student
21:27
loans that are being forgiven, they're not being forgiven.
21:31
They're just being transferred from the person that borrowed
21:34
the money to the American taxpayer.
21:37
You and me are picking up the tab.
21:39
OK? There's no other way around
21:41
that. There's no magic voodoo like,
21:43
oh, we'll just forget about it. No, you and I are the ones
21:47
picking up the tab for that. So let's talk about silver,
21:56
because I want, I want to get the Tonka truck up again, but I
21:58
won't. Silver is very interesting.
22:02
Silver is coiling for a big, big move.
22:07
OK. I was looking at the cup and
22:08
handle. There's a cup and handle on the
22:10
silver chart that goes back decades and decades and it
22:14
starts at 50, hits 50 again and now we're starting on our way
22:19
up. We got a lot more to go, but
22:21
when we get above 50 again and silver, it's going to be off to
22:25
the races. Andrew McGuire was saying
22:29
there's there's a very interesting situation developing
22:33
in the silver market and the only place I'm hearing this
22:36
talked about is with Andrew McGuire, maybe because he has
22:38
such an in depth knowledge of the mechanics of how the markets
22:42
work, in particular the gold and silver markets.
22:45
But it's super interesting to realize there's a bigger market
22:50
out there than just me and you at our local coin shop or buying
22:54
bullion online. We tend to focus in on that,
22:58
right? The bigger part of the market is
23:00
the wholesale market and there are some crazy developments
23:04
apparently going on in the wholesale silver market.
23:09
The demand in the wholesale market is through the roof.
23:12
It's been building over the last few weeks and is now at almost
23:16
what they're calling unprecedented levels.
23:20
The manipulator traders, this is the interesting part.
23:24
Haven't caught on to it yet, but apparently it has something to
23:27
do with India basically saying we'll buy all the wholesale
23:32
silver that you can sell us at this current spot price and
23:36
people are scrambling in the wholesale markets to find the
23:40
silver to fill these orders, right.
23:43
We don't see that now on a retail, you know, local coin
23:48
shop level, right, with with Britannia's like I got from
23:52
Pimbeck's the other day or if you run to your local coin shop
23:54
today and buy some American Silver Eagles or whatever,
23:58
there's a surplus right now. Kind of the opposite has
24:00
happened in the retail market, but apparently on the wholesale
24:04
market. And guys, I would argue like to
24:07
us, the retail market's important, right?
24:10
But in the end, when it comes to the big picture for silver, the
24:14
wholesale market is actually much, much more important.
24:18
That's where massive demand growth is occurring right now.
24:24
Now on top of that, just so we can feel warm and fuzzy, which
24:28
is always a top priority for us when we come to the basement, we
24:31
are sitting around the campfire at silver and gold camp right
24:35
now right, having our conversation on top of this
24:38
crazy wholesale demand, think about what'll happen.
24:42
I mean think about what happened just a year ago last time, I'll
24:45
bring it up today, right when we had a little crisis in the in
24:48
the retail demand for silver exploded, right.
24:52
If we've got a wholesale demand explosion and we get right now
24:57
it's horrible on a scale of one to 10, right.
25:00
The people I'm talking to on the on the retail investment side of
25:04
silver are saying we're like like a two, OK, it's not good.
25:09
But if we go from just two to five or two to four, right,
25:13
improve a little bit in terms of sentiment and interest in the
25:17
retail silver investment sector. And couple that with what is
25:22
already incredible, some people are saying unprecedented demand
25:27
at the wholesale level, while at the same time we know that the
25:32
inventories at the Comex and the LBMA had pretty much been
25:37
depleted, right. I mean they're what at the last
25:40
I checked, the Comex had like 42,000,000 ounces of silver in
25:43
their registered category. If all those things come
25:46
together, that's when we could see the, the compression of that
25:52
silver to gold ratio from 90 to 50, right?
25:58
And if we get $2500 gold, right, and we get a $50 silver to gold
26:04
ratio, if my math is correct, we get so $50 silver, right?
26:11
Yeah, 5050 * 50 is 2500. So let's keep the big picture in
26:20
mind here while we look at the There's multiple dynamics,
26:23
right? We're trying to put together an
26:26
impossible puzzle, but we're looking at all the hints, all
26:30
the ideas that are being given to us.
26:32
Right. Crazy wholesale demand for
26:35
silver, number one, Right. Horrible demand from retail
26:40
investors, All right, But. But it can't get much worse.
26:45
OK. It can.
26:47
But most likely, retail demand for silver will get better,
26:52
especially as we're heading into this year with all this
26:54
craziness that's unfolding around us in the United States
26:59
domestically, but in the whole in the world as a whole as well.
27:04
OK, you. And then you continue to look at
27:07
the fact that there's fewer ounces of silver being pulled
27:10
out of the ground by the mining companies.
27:12
Yes, I talked to the CEOs. Yes, nobody's investing any
27:17
money into silver mining, very little.
27:20
I mean, somebody who wins the Powerball drawing could
27:24
basically buy the whole silver mining sector.
27:27
There's so little money going into it.
27:30
As we look at all these pictures moving together, these factors
27:33
moving together, right, We try to try to develop a thesis based
27:37
upon that. It's not perfect.
27:39
Nobody can. I can't predict the future.
27:41
You can't predict the future future, but when we look at all
27:43
the all the pieces moving together, there's a lot of
27:47
factors that could become very supportive for much higher
27:52
silver prices. OK.
27:54
Much, much higher silver prices because you know, so I won't
27:58
play with it for a week. But if the gold price goes up to
28:01
2500, right, and the and the and the silver to gold, this elastic
28:06
band which is the silver to gold ratio, right, gets keeps
28:10
stretched at 90 and the silver to gold ratio then starts to
28:14
compress up to 50, right. That's how we get, right.
28:19
That's how let's turn them on. That's how we get $50 silver.
28:28
I promise I won't play with my toy trucks anymore till the next
28:34
live stream. OK?
28:37
European refiners are sold out of silver supply again.
28:40
This is according to Andrew McGuire.
28:42
You can watch them on live from the vault.
28:44
The guy knows more about the markets than anybody in my
28:47
opinion. Well, Vince Lancey gives him a
28:49
run for his money, that's for sure.
28:51
And maybe Chris Marcus and a couple of other people anyway.
28:54
Indian demand for for silver at spot prices is massive.
29:00
Let's not forget what was it 2022 when the when the Indian or
29:06
the country of India imported like 320 million ounces of
29:10
silver, like 39% of the entire year's mining production of
29:15
silver. So this can happen guys, OK,
29:19
what's going to happen? This is from Janice.
29:24
Janice sent me an e-mail and she said Bron, she sounded
29:29
concerned, she was worried. She said, what's going to happen
29:33
when silver hits $50.00 in my coin shop?
29:37
What are we? Are we going to be able to cash
29:39
out? Well, don't cash out everything
29:40
now don't. I'm not giving financial advice.
29:42
I'm going to answer this question.
29:44
She's worried about the coin shops closing down and not
29:47
buying silver $50. We're going to get to that.
29:50
But first we want to say thank you.
29:52
Channel sponsor Fortuna Silver. There are silver and gold miner
29:57
with five operating mines. I believe they have one of the
30:01
stronger balance sheets in the industry.
30:03
They position themselves to be able to weather any precious
30:07
metals market, but really harvest big gains when we have
30:11
big gains in the price of silver and gold.
30:14
You can learn more about them at fortuneissilver.com.
30:17
First mining Gold Canadian Gold Developer 2.
30:22
Not 1/2 5 million oz. Development projects in Canada
30:27
and they have either ownership or a interest in four other
30:31
projects in Canada. But those two projects, Spring
30:34
Pool in Ontario, 2 Parquet in Quebec, each have at least 5
30:37
million ounces of gold in the ground.
30:40
They're moving through the the exciting development phase right
30:44
now so they'll be catalyst rich over the next couple years.
30:48
Look, the reality is the big mining companies have not
30:51
invested into their pipeline, right.
30:54
The number of reserves that the big gold mining companies, and
30:58
it's true for silver mining companies to their reserves,
31:01
have gone down. There's going to be a point
31:03
where these big companies aren't going to be able to produce as
31:06
much silver and gold. It's a depleting business.
31:09
That will be good for the silver price and the gold price, right?
31:15
But it'll also be good for companies like First Mining Gold
31:18
that have projects that are moving through the permitting
31:21
phase that it could be ready to go and fill that void that these
31:25
big mining companies will need to fill.
31:27
But again, that's one of the critical key components that we
31:31
like to talk about in regards to really the silver price.
31:35
We we focus on that. I mean these mining companies,
31:40
their pipelines are running dry. You know, there just isn't a lot
31:43
of silver out there. The fundamentals are in place.
31:46
Thank you. Craig Edmonds, thank you for
31:48
that super chat, my friend. Thank you, Craig.
31:53
The fundamentals are definitely in place.
31:55
Now Janice is worried that if silver goes to $50 per oz, she's
31:58
not going to be able to sell any of her silver.
32:01
First thing I would say is don't sell all your silver if you're
32:04
going to sell, you know, I, I you do whatever you want.
32:07
But I would say maybe sell a third, sell 1/2, right?
32:11
Because if you do an all or nothing type thing, you're
32:15
really taking a big risk, right? If you sell half and hope the
32:19
price continues upward, so the half you kept continues to go up
32:22
in value, right, which a lot of US silver stackers believe it
32:26
will. But she's concerned that you
32:28
won't even be able to get rid of your silver if the price gets to
32:30
$50. I would argue, and I don't mean
32:34
this in an argumentative way, but I would argue that yes, you
32:36
will. Because if, if and when silver
32:39
gets to $50, it's going to be because market forces broke.
32:44
The paper market broke the electronic market, the COMEX and
32:47
the LBMA, the demand for silver overwhelmed the market.
32:52
So that same demand that drove the price to 50 to 40 to 35 to
32:59
60, The only thing that's going to drive the price is demand.
33:03
So I would argue that you'll easily still be able to sell
33:08
your silver at that level that they'll be, you know, if silver
33:12
gets to $50, it'd be like when gold blasted off a few times in
33:16
the past and you start getting those Flyers in the mail, we'll
33:18
buy your junk gold, we'll buy your.
33:20
You'll see Flyers in your mailbox telling you, thank you,
33:25
Neil. Hey, thank you, Neil, for the
33:27
Super chat. Super chat, Neil.
33:31
You'll get Flyers in your mailbox saying bring us
33:33
grandma's silverware, we want your silver.
33:36
They will be clamoring to buy silver.
33:38
So it might actually. I understand the concern and I
33:41
don't have a crystal ball, right, but the only thing that's
33:45
going to get us the $50 silver is going to be the demand And
33:49
that demand is still going to be there, is still going to be
33:52
there at $50 silver, right? It may go to $60.00 silver, it
33:56
may. Who knows, right?
33:57
We've talked about this, how high it can go.
34:00
So you know the other thing to think about also, like we talked
34:06
about earlier, this wholesale demand for silver.
34:08
And if the price goes to 50 and the wholesalers are scrambling,
34:12
they'll be buying, they'll be buying the silver at a big
34:15
premium and melting it down, right?
34:18
They'll be buying all your silver rounds, all your 10 oz
34:21
bars, and melting it down to make it into 5000 oz bars to
34:27
satisfy the wholesale demand Picture Okay.
34:31
So that's what I see coming guys.
34:34
We've got really a lot to be happy about with this gold price
34:40
14 weeks above $2000, right? I think we closed the spot price
34:46
on Friday, what 2032 thousand 40, remember right, Gold Leeds
34:52
Silver. I'm not going to pull up the
34:54
Tonka truck for you again but we need to remember that OK and
34:58
that there are so many great accomplishments that have been
35:03
made with the gold price, right. Not just the 14 weeks but the
35:06
November the 1st monthly close above $2000 and the fact that
35:12
the cup and handle pattern. I'm not going to say it's broken
35:16
out yet but it sure looks like it's itching to break out and if
35:21
we get, if we get you know look who was it just the other day
35:25
some big big name was it city I think it was city said that that
35:30
we we could see $3000 gold within the next 18 months.
35:34
Where do you think Silver's going to be if we get to $3000
35:38
gold, right? Because you know what?
35:40
If we get to $3000 gold, people are going to be clamoring for
35:44
gold. But then they're going to look
35:45
at silver and be like, you know, maybe silver initially only
35:48
rallies to 30 or $35 per oz, but they're going to look and say I
35:53
can buy 100 ounces of silver for the same price I can buy gold.
35:58
Silver is going to catch up. It's going to be the elastic
36:01
band contracting and it can over perform and maybe that's when
36:07
like Jana said, right. Maybe that is when you want to
36:09
consider getting rid of some of your silver if you're a person.
36:15
I buy it as a generational investment, OK?
36:17
I buy whatever I ever used. But silver, I get it.
36:20
I take it off site, store it off site and save it as a
36:25
generational investment. My kids, my grandkids, you know,
36:29
say I'll tell you a story. Yesterday was my daughter's
36:31
birthday. They turned 12 and Sassy Silver
36:36
gave them a nice Kookaburra coins, Very nice.
36:39
Thank you Sassy Silver for doing that.
36:41
They love them. But I also got this little
36:44
shipment in the mail from Pimbex, the King Charles
36:50
Britannias that I bought and I felt guilty.
36:56
I was feeling guilty. I'm like, it's my daughter's
36:58
birthday and I'm getting this package in the mail.
37:00
And I thought, you know what? This is actually a gift for them
37:05
that they don't realize, because I envision this as something
37:09
that they're going to get someday.
37:11
And I know, I know that those silver Britannia coins with King
37:17
Charles on them, because they'll be very rare and that's just a
37:21
maybe just the silver alone is going to be valuable.
37:26
I thought, I really am giving them a big gift today.
37:29
A big gift, but they don't necessarily realize it, right?
37:33
They're 12 years old. To them, a big gift is a new
37:36
case for their iPhone. Or you know, whatever.
37:39
You know how kids are. So anyhow, thank you for being
37:43
here guys. Thank you for your support.
37:45
Being part of the basement. You guys are always so, so
37:49
awesome. We couldn't ask for more.
37:52
Please give this a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel and
37:56
I'll see you soon. Thank you.
