  It's a Tuesday. I cannot believe it. It is tax day.

  And where a lot of you may fear tax day, I wanted to share with you that recently

  I've had some interesting dreams.

  My dreams at times can get a little difficult.

  There's always some dreams that I have where the, we'll call it,
• 2:12
  we'll just call it what it is.
• 2:13
  The evil will enter in and try to discourage you, try to manipulate you,
• 2:18
  try to tell you that you're not worthy.
• 2:19
  And I started to think about how I felt in my early 30s. I always talk about
• 2:25
  my 20s, but I don't really talk about my 30s.
• 2:27
  And in my 30s, I had so much doubt.
• 2:30
  A lot of the doubt that I had was, was I good enough to be a husband?
• 2:35
  Was I good enough to be a husband?
• 2:37
  To be a college graduate? Was I good enough to get a career going?
• 2:42
  Was I good enough to be on the pulpit?
• 2:46
  And I started to fear God. I feared God for a very short period of time because
• 2:51
  I used to say to myself, am I good enough to be God's servant?
• 2:56
  Am I good enough to really understand what God is asking me to do.
• 3:03
  And, you know, time and time again, I would run into certain people that would
• 3:08
  remind me without even knowing that God has sent these people to me.
• 3:12
  They would remind me that what I'm doing, what I'm planning on doing,
• 3:17
  what God has planned for me is no accident.
• 3:20
  So I hold you, the Have Faith, Let It Begin family, with a question.
• 3:27
  Do you fear God? Do you fear that God has forgotten you?
• 3:32
  Do you ever fear that God doesn't believe or trust in you?
• 3:37
  If you are feeling that right at this very moment, if you're feeling lost,
• 3:42
  if you're feeling like God is so far away from you, guess what?
• 3:46
  He's closer to you now than he's ever been. And you want to know why?
• 3:50
  Because why would I, why would I even try to do this episode out of nowhere?
• 3:55
  And why would you listen to today's episode, knowing what you feel that I didn't
• 4:02
  even know you feel you felt?
• 4:03
  Well, that's because God at times will ask certain people to do things,
• 4:08
  to reach out to others, to remind them.
• 4:12
  That he's there. So it's very possible that you could be sitting here listening
• 4:16
  to this episode and go, I don't fear God. I don't think this is for me.
• 4:19
  That's okay. It may not be for you.
• 4:23
  It may be for somebody else. It may be that you will encounter someone that you need to remind them.

  And that is God's message today.

  The message he has for all of us, including myself, is that he's not far away
• 4:39
  from us, that he's close to us, that he's right next to us, that he believes
• 4:44
  in us, that he trusts in us, that he loves us,
• 4:48
  that he's forgiven us, that he will never leave our side.

  Please, I beg of all of you to give God a few minutes every single day.

  Yes, we're not perfect. There are times we forget. I have forgotten.

  I have fallen short, but I always find the time to make up for what time I've
• 5:11
  lost by praying a simple prayer that God taught us.

  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

  Lead us not into temptation.
• 5:38
  Deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever.

  We pray for churches and consistories, hospitals, EMTs, first responders,

  police, fire and rescue, military personnel, foreign and domestic.

  And we pray that our government officials get along and figure out a way to

  keep our well-being and our way of life healthy, strong.
