  Speaker 1: Self reliance, this is probably one of the hardest areas

  Speaker 1: that we deal with in life. We're trying to do

  Speaker 1: everything on our own sometimes, right, we naturally want to

  Speaker 1: handle things ourselves. When anything happens, we usually want to
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: do and figure out and do things ourselves. I don't know.

  Speaker 1: Maybe it's just me, right, Maybe let me just talk

  Speaker 1: to myself. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: can be just relying on my own ability. And I
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: have a God who I love, who loves me, who
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: I serve, who is all matchless, all powerless. Amen. Powerful.

  Speaker 1: I'm weak allows God to take over. Amen. It's called humility.

  Speaker 1: It's called humbling myself. Amen. So self reliance really doesn't

  Speaker 1: line up with God's will and purpose over your life

  Speaker 1: and over my life if you look at it biblically,

  Speaker 1: James chapter four, verse number ten and John fifteen and

  Speaker 1: five have two scriptures today, Amen, because they go hand

  Speaker 1: in hand. And I know self reliance is a is

  Speaker 1: a thing. It's a topic that we should be covering.

  Speaker 1: sisters in Christ. Amen. And for the most part, I

  Speaker 1: And we can't be self relying even on those conversations either,

  Speaker 1: maturity right for us to get into some conversations that

  Speaker 1: are really really hard and touchy and their passionate conversations

  Speaker 1: so the world could see that we are really trying

  Speaker 1: our best to stay united, to be biblically minded, amen,

  Speaker 1: and kingdom minded. So thank you so much. So let's

  Speaker 1: God Almighty, his sovereign. He's in control, he knows everything

  Speaker 1: before we even get to know anything. Amen. And he's trustworthy.

  Speaker 1: He's trustworthy a man. So, Father, I thank you for today,

  Speaker 1: thank you for this moment in time that we could

  Speaker 1: take out some time and get together into these morning devotions,

  Speaker 1: into your word, into prayer, into just loving one another,
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: building each other up. I thank you, Lord God, for

  Speaker 1: that power, that authority, that privilege to be in the
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: Kingdom of God, and to have the mindset of the
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: Kingdom of God, and to know that you are in
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: us and you're working for us, and you're working through us.

  Speaker 1: I pray Love God, I Mighty had your protection. Lord God.

  Speaker 1: We're in a time that is perilous. We're in a
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: time that truth is called hatred. We're in a time
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: where people who are doing wrong is being elevated to
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: something that's being done right. Evil is good according to
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: how people's mindset is. Some people say there is no evil.

  Speaker 1: Some people there say there's no good, or ultimately love God,
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: or we need you to guide God and protect us.

  Speaker 1: Ultimately love God. We set forth right now dispatch arkwen angels,
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: ministering angels, worrying angels, to annihilate the tactics of the
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: demonic entities that live and breathe among us. In the

  Speaker 1: powerful name of Jesus, I thank you, Lord God, that

  Speaker 1: we could walk freely knowing that You are in us,
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: and no matter what happens and what comes out with
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: way Low God, we would not fear man, but we
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: would trust in the Living, Holy, Righteous God to guide

  Speaker 1: us and protect us through life as from this point

  Speaker 1: all the way to the last point of our last breath.

  Speaker 1: I thank you, Lord God for saving us, rescuing us,

  Speaker 1: for positioning us for a blessing. And I pray, Lord

  Speaker 1: God for every single person on the other side of

  Speaker 1: the screen and on the other side of this mic,

  Speaker 1: that you would guidegard and protect them as well, and

  Speaker 1: that we would unite in faith, one God, one Lord,

  Speaker 1: one faith, faith and one God, one kingdom right. And

  Speaker 1: for one another. We have it because you loved us first.

  Speaker 1: I've told, what I saw on social media. We could

  Speaker 1: work this thing out and we're not self relying. Where

  Speaker 1: being divinely guided by holy, righteous, loving God who wants
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: us to be positioned for a blessing. But we have
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: to admit or I have to admit that a weak
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: in certain areas in life. So I need to rely
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: and trust in him. Amen. That's the point of what

  Speaker 1: want to rattle off. I woke up, like at three

  Speaker 1: thirty nine. It was in the morning. I heard something

  Speaker 1: go thump. I'm hearing that. A lot that's happening, a
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: lot pray for a brother. I don't know what that means,
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: but immediately I woke up and I was like, what
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: was that? And then I walked around the house and
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: then I went back to bed and I started praying.

  Speaker 1: I said, whoever needs prayer, amen, including myself and my family.

  Speaker 1: I just prayed. But it's been happening very often. That's
• 10:40
  Speaker 1: why I'm a little flustered because I'm like, it broke
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: my sound sleep. I hear things. I'm a light sleeper,
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: so Amen. So we're hoping and praying. I'm hoping and
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: praying that everybody's okay, Amen, and my family and outside
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: of my family, my friends. Amen. There's a lot going on,

  Speaker 1: and it's spiritual warfare going on in those hours. So
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: I would think that maybe that's what the case is.

  Speaker 1: And I'm part of that army of believers and prayer
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: warriors at those early morning times. Amen, I think. But

  Speaker 1: I know God is in control, that God is my

  Speaker 1: safety net and I can rely on him. I can't

  Speaker 1: really rely on myself a man. Let me prove in

  Speaker 1: to get any kind of benefit or any kind of reward,
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: James Foreign Send says, humble yourselves with an attitude of
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: repentance and insignificance in the presence of the Lord, and
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: he will exalt you, he will lift you up, he
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: will give you purpose. The world says absolutely the opposite
• 12:27
  Speaker 1: when it comes to this. The world says you are
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: in control. The world says you control what happens in
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: your life. The world says you own your body. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So the world is not a humbling space. The world
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: tells you to exalt yourself. The world tells you to
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: get everything you can, can everything you exalt yourself. So
• 12:50
  Speaker 1: the word of God flies in the face of the
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: word of this world. Right, the Kingdom of God and
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: the kingdom of this world are opposed. I don't know
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: why we get into these debates, believers. I'm talking to them.
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: I'm talking about people outside of the kingdom, but people
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: in the kingdom. Why are we debating over worldly systems
• 13:12
  Speaker 1: that don't promote what God has said and what God
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: is doing. Let's stay kingdom minded. The world needs what
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: we have. We don't need what the world has. Amen.
• 13:24
  Speaker 1: Humble yourselves. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord,
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: and He will exalt you. Okay, so we got that.

  Speaker 1: We know the scripture is there. Let's deal with it.

  Speaker 1: Let's not be self flying. Let's humble ourselves right in
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: the presence of the Lord and God the Lord, He

  Speaker 1: will exalt you. Amen, in due time, due season. John

  Speaker 1: fifteen five. Jesus says, I am the vine. This is

  Speaker 1: I am moment. When God says I am, he's identifying

  Speaker 1: himself as the great. I am, the all sufficient one,

  Speaker 1: the all powerful one, the all knowing one, the omnipresent one,
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: the one who's full of grace, kindness, and mercy and love.

  Speaker 1: Oh Man, I am. This is an im statement from
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus. Amen. Why is it that we don't
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: understand that God right here is claiming Jesus right here
• 14:23
  Speaker 1: is claiming to be God. The Jews understood what he
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: was saying, the people of his time understood what he
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: was saying. And it seems that we don't understand. But
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: Jesus says, I am the vine. You are the branches.
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: The one who remains in who in Jesus, The one
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit.
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: But otherwise, apart from me, Jesus said, other than outside
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: of me, that is cut off from vital union with me,
• 15:00
  Speaker 1: you can do nothing. Doesn't that humble you? Amen? Humbles me.

  Speaker 1: I gotta stay connected to Jesus. I gotta stay connected
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: to Divine. That's my lifeline. The one who remains in
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: the Lord God will remain in him. And because of
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: this union, and because of this connection. Because of this connection,
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: we're gonna bear much fruit in our relationships and our
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: finances and our health, and our churches, in our workplaces,
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: and our schools, and our homes, with our spouses, with
• 15:36
  Speaker 1: our children will have favor, and we're gonna bear much fruit,
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: much food. Jesus said, for apart from the Lord, we
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: can do nothing. And this doesn't fly real good with
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: the worldly people. Man, they said, what I ain't bound
• 15:55
  Speaker 1: down to nobody. I don't need nobody, right, And you
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: hear it out society. You hear people say, nah, I'm good.
• 16:02
  Speaker 1: I don't need your Jesus, Sam, I don't believe in God.
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: I get what I got because I worked hard for you.
• 16:08
  Speaker 1: Ever heard people say that? Seems humble? Right? In a way,
• 16:12
  Speaker 1: I worked hard for this. I was watching what was
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: that guy d? The Repo Guide Bounty Hunter D. Although

  Speaker 1: I think a lot of that stuff is just for
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: clicks and views. But there was a guy said he

  Speaker 1: was trying to repod this man's car, and the guy

  Speaker 1: came out and said, no, man, you touch my car,

  Speaker 1: it's gonna be on and pop. And that's what they want.

  Speaker 1: They want to try to get that kind of footage
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: and Bounty hundred D videos. Right, good morning brother one,

  Speaker 1: good morning God, bless you, thank you for the blessings

  Speaker 1: for everybody that's tuned in as well. So in this one,

  Speaker 1: the guy comes out and say listen, and he started
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: explaining he was angry but the Bonde hundred D and

  Speaker 1: the people that were with Body hundred decent. Man, you're

  Speaker 1: six months behind in your car. We're taking your car?

  Speaker 1: Was like, I work hard, right, and you know I felt,

  Speaker 1: you know, I felt that a little bit. I work hard.

  Speaker 1: I have a newborn baby. You know, I work hard

  Speaker 1: for this car, so you ain't taking it. But the responsibility,

  Speaker 1: you know, he mentioned that he worked hard for it,
• 17:17
  Speaker 1: but the responsibility wasn't taken care of, right. And I'm
• 17:21
  Speaker 1: self not self sufficient, I'm independently and self employed. I'm independent,
• 17:29
  Speaker 1: so I know what he's kind of coming from. So
• 17:32
  Speaker 1: I'm working hard, doing the best I can. But it
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: sounds like he was relying on himself to get the
• 17:40
  Speaker 1: situation taken care of, even though he didn't meet his
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: obligation with the car. Note, So the world has this
• 17:50
  Speaker 1: idea that whatever I work for is mine, whatever I
• 17:54
  Speaker 1: work hard for is even more mine, right, and whatever
• 17:58
  Speaker 1: I want I get because I'm doing it. They don't
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: give credit to no, to God, they don't give credit
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: to nobody else but themselves. I even heard people say
• 18:09
  Speaker 1: that they were self made millionaires when the Scripture is
• 18:13
  Speaker 1: plainly saying to us that God gives us the health
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: to gain wealth. Amen. So this is something that you
• 18:20
  Speaker 1: know is intriguing to me. This is something that's interesting
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: on self reliance, right because I see it all throughout culture. Amen.
• 18:28
  Speaker 1: A lot of people say, you know, it's all about perspective.
• 18:34
  Speaker 1: I did this, you believe that I believe this. So
• 18:36
  Speaker 1: let's you know, self reliance really false, flat in the
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: face when it's compared to what Jesus said, what the
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: scripture saying. Amen. I'm in a mode of humility. I'm
• 18:48
  Speaker 1: humbling myself, Amen, because I know for sure that I
• 18:51
  Speaker 1: can't do nothing without the power of God. I know
• 18:54
  Speaker 1: for sure that it was God's grace that got me
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: in this seat right now in the studio. Is by
• 19:00
  Speaker 1: God's grace that I could even testify. By God's grace
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: I even have a life. Amen. So I humble myself.

  Speaker 1: I might sound arrogant and sometimes Amen, and so do you.
• 19:11
  Speaker 1: Sometimes I guess right. But ultimately I'm humble. I humble
• 19:16
  Speaker 1: myself before the Lord and the presence of the Lord
• 19:18
  Speaker 1: because I know he's mighty a safe now. You know
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: what's interesting though, sometimes when you're in church settings and
• 19:24
  Speaker 1: communities during worship and people say I feel the presence
• 19:30
  Speaker 1: of the Lord, Well, if you feel the presidence of
• 19:32
  Speaker 1: the Lord, according to this scripture, then humble yourself, right.
• 19:35
  Speaker 1: And we say that a lot. Right, I feel the
• 19:38
  Speaker 1: presence of God. And maybe that's what it is. We're
• 19:41
  Speaker 1: feeling the presence of the Lord. Amen. But where the
• 19:44
