Stephen is the guy who was Musical Director everywhere and for everything, or so I recall, in the 70’s and 80’s – and beyond – as I was making my way in the Toronto scene. He dates the start of his career as 1974, which places us in the same timeframe.

Fifteen seasons at the Stratford Festival expanded his horizon, to be sure. And the experiences gained then/there became part of his toolkit when, years later, he directed and taught at the University of Windsor’s theatre training programme. Vocal coaching and directing at Sheridan College began in 2008.
