- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Magic. Magic.
- 0:04Speaker 2: 94.9. Welcome to another episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Thank you, as always, for commenting, for putting the reviews in,
- 0:11Speaker 2: and good reminder, if you're new to the podcast, we're
- 0:13Speaker 2: now on YouTube.
- 0:14Speaker 1: We're on the YouTube. Check it out in the episode description,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and it'll take you to our... Beautiful faces.
- 0:20Speaker 2: At least you get to watch it. It's something a
- 0:22Speaker 2: little more entertaining for you.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Abby, how are you?
- 0:24Speaker 1: I'm doing good. How are you? I'm well. Are you
- 0:26Speaker 1: excited to turn 30 Friday or Saturday, Sunday?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Sunday, I am. I actually am.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I would say it feels like I'm already 30. It
- 0:35Speaker 2: doesn't feel like I'm still leading up to that age.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Because this, I didn't think when I was, I was
- 0:40Speaker 2: just telling my girlfriend about this. When I turned 29,
- 0:43Speaker 2: it was a very daunting moment. I was like, oh
- 0:45Speaker 2: my God, closing out my 20s. What is this next
- 0:48Speaker 2: decade going to look like? But this truly has been,
- 0:51Speaker 2: I mean, there's been so many things this year that
- 0:54Speaker 2: I couldn't have even imagined happening just a year ago
- 0:57Speaker 2: on my birthday. Like the way this year has unfolded,
- 1:00Speaker 2: the things that have come, the fun that we've been
- 1:02Speaker 2: able to have, that is a wild experience. that it
- 1:06Speaker 2: just felt like a wish a year ago. So it
- 1:09Speaker 2: gets me very excited for what this next decade.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you're a man.
- 1:12Speaker 3: You're turning 30.
- 1:12Speaker 1: This is about to be the best 10 years of
- 1:14Speaker 1: your life. Best 20, 30 years of your life. Well,
- 1:16Speaker 1: it is.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I mean, there are a couple things I want to
- 1:18Speaker 2: do in my 30.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I want to be in the best shape. of my
- 1:22Speaker 3: life in my 30s.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Because it's so against the grain of what you hear
- 1:27Speaker 2: all the time in society. It's like, okay, I started
- 1:29Speaker 2: to fall off. You know, my peak was at 19
- 1:32Speaker 2: when my metabolism was firing off.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I wasn't even a human until I was like 25.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That's kind of how I feel too. But I feel
- 1:40Speaker 2: like at 30, I want to be in the best shape.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I want to be the best set up financially. I
- 1:45Speaker 2: want to have things on the horizon of what we're
- 1:47Speaker 2: going after. It just feels like it's going to be
- 1:49Speaker 2: a really cool decade for things of You know, you
- 1:52Speaker 2: have a little more experience. And, I don't know, maybe
- 1:55Speaker 2: this is the decade for a family, a marriage, all
- 2:00Speaker 2: the things that you see your friends go through maybe
- 2:02Speaker 2: a couple years before.
- 2:03Speaker 3: But now it's like, wait a second.
- 2:05Speaker 2: In the next 10 years, a lot of big things,
- 2:07Speaker 2: a lot of big life moments could happen.
- 2:10Speaker 3: It feels like. You don't know. But it does feel
- 2:12Speaker 3: like that way.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Well, that's very exciting.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So I am excited for 30. I don't think it's
- 2:16Speaker 2: going to be a crazy celebration. I think Key West
- 2:18Speaker 2: was the crazy celebration. I am going to go out
- 2:20Speaker 2: to Pig Jig.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Our little festival, our country music festival over in Tampa.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I know it's kind of nice that for the first
- 2:25Speaker 1: time in 10 years, you get a meaningful birthday. Like I'm,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I don't really celebrate birthdays, but I'm like, yeah, when
- 2:32Speaker 1: I turned 30, like I'm going to do something.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I don't know what I'm going to do.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I'm going to do something though.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Start putting the plans together now because it's, you told
- 2:39Speaker 2: me to do that. And I'm so grateful you did
- 2:41Speaker 2: because it is a huge moment and it just made
- 2:44Speaker 2: me realize, and we talked about it maybe yesterday on
- 2:46Speaker 2: the podcast or the show, like You don't get all
- 2:49Speaker 2: your core people together very often. It's like when you're kids,
- 2:52Speaker 2: you all hang out together and it's so easy. As
- 2:54Speaker 2: you get older, people go to different schools or you
- 2:57Speaker 2: get a job in a different state or then you
- 2:59Speaker 2: start having a family and you get married. And as
- 3:01Speaker 2: I saw everyone together on the boat, I was like, man,
- 3:05Speaker 2: this is cool because there's not very many moments. That
- 3:07Speaker 2: everyone's going to be able to come together. And this
- 3:09Speaker 2: is one of those moments. So it should be celebrated.
- 3:12Speaker 2: It just is easier to say to people, oh, you
- 3:13Speaker 2: got to come because it's my 30th.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And it worked. It definitely worked.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Because they see it as a milestone.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And people put more weight on it to actually show up.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That's the difference I saw. And I think it did
- 3:22Speaker 2: put in my mind, I want to set something up
- 3:24Speaker 2: yearly for the group to be able to get together.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Maybe it's just the guys that are able to get together.
- 3:29Speaker 2: But in order to make that happen, you just got
- 3:30Speaker 2: to be so intentional. Like I got to put the
- 3:32Speaker 2: plans together now in order to get everyone together a
- 3:35Speaker 2: year from now because schedules, timing, time off, the money
- 3:39Speaker 2: that it takes to go places, that's one of the
- 3:41Speaker 2: biggest things. Like I just, I was scared this morning
- 3:44Speaker 2: to look at my credit card to say like, all right,
- 3:46Speaker 2: how much did I spend when I was in Key
- 3:48Speaker 2: West alone? Like forget paying for the catamaran and all
- 3:52Speaker 2: the other excursions that were already covered like Ubers, food, drinks.
- 3:58Speaker 3: You know, it's like another thousand dollars.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Damn.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Which I'm like, Okay.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to get a travel credit card.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it'd be easier.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I do have the one, like we're about to go
- 4:06Speaker 2: to Chicago in two weeks, which another awesome trip.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I cannot wait for that one.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Chicago will be so fun.
- 4:12Speaker 3: It's going to be nice and chilly.
- 4:13Speaker 1: What are you doing in Chicago?
- 4:14Speaker 3: This is where, so my, Brianda's birthday months ago. Yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 2: This is what I set up for her. So this
- 4:19Speaker 2: is where we're going out for the concert.
- 4:20Speaker 1: This is the concert.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Very good fun.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Going to do a little exploring.
- 4:23Speaker 2: But that, I really learned the power of having a
- 4:25Speaker 2: credit card that gets points because all those points went
- 4:28Speaker 2: to this trip. So it was hotel covered, flights covered,
- 4:31Speaker 2: rental car covered. That was the first time I ever
- 4:34Speaker 2: really got to utilize it. I'm like, this is really cool.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I'm telling you the right credit card gets you. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: you have to find the one that gives you the
- 4:39Speaker 1: benefits that you like. Like I have a Delta credit card.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So when I fly Delta, it doesn't matter anymore that
- 4:44Speaker 1: we're in Tampa, but like you get boarding group five.
- 4:47Speaker 1: And as somebody who has so much anxiety at the airport,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, boarding group five is worth it for
- 4:51Speaker 1: me because i get to be in front of all
- 4:53Speaker 1: the other losers and seven and eight who constantly have
- 4:56Speaker 1: to check their bag because for some reason everyone gets
- 4:58Speaker 1: a checked bag or not a checked bag um a
- 5:00Speaker 1: carry-on bag but for some reason if you're in group
- 5:03Speaker 1: six seven and eight you never get to bring your
- 5:05Speaker 1: carry-on on the plane because they don't account for the
- 5:07Speaker 1: amount of space that they have and it makes no.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Sense that actually is a good point because that gets
- 5:10Speaker 2: me so mad because i'm always group seven i'm the
- 5:12Speaker 2: loser in group seven because i'm like pay extra to
- 5:15Speaker 2: get a seat and go up earlier?
- 5:16Speaker 3: Nah, I'll walk up on the plane. But it is true.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Every time I've gone on with that group, it's always
- 5:21Speaker 2: at the front. They're like, all right, we're going to
- 5:23Speaker 2: check your bags.
- 5:23Speaker 3: And I'm like, how did you not?
- 5:26Speaker 2: Who set this up? Who's bringing more bags that's filling
- 5:29Speaker 2: up all this space?
- 5:30Speaker 3: And why is it?
- 5:31Speaker 2: I believe if you have a carry on like that
- 5:34Speaker 2: and it might still fit, like you can't put it
- 5:36Speaker 2: under your seat.
- 5:36Speaker 3: They're still going to take it.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:38Speaker 3: They only do that for backpacks. So the rules that
- 5:40Speaker 3: are going on, I get it. It's a safety thing
- 5:43Speaker 3: that we will never know.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I don't understand it, but it is annoying because I'm like, OK, well,
- 5:48Speaker 2: what happens now when you lose the luggage? Like, have
- 5:49Speaker 2: you ever had your luggage lost? Because I've I've literally
- 5:52Speaker 2: lost luggage.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I've never lost lost luggage. But what I didn't realize,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and this is a common thing, because I saw this
- 5:57Speaker 1: on TikTok when I got home from Naples. But the
- 6:01Speaker 1: Naples airport runway is so short that the flights can't
- 6:05Speaker 1: be a certain distance.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Weight like the the.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Planes have they have to take off consistently a lot
- 6:12Speaker 1: of people's luggages like luggages luggage so that the plane
- 6:16Speaker 1: doesn't you know crash that's crazy I know and so
- 6:19Speaker 1: my suitcase came to me from Naples because I had
- 6:22Speaker 1: a TSA lock on I think you know I was
- 6:23Speaker 1: doing the right thing completely sliced open because for some
- 6:26Speaker 1: reason they needed to check it I don't know and
- 6:29Speaker 1: so that suitcase is gone.
- 6:30Speaker 2: That's annoying because that's like a thing that they could
- 6:33Speaker 2: I just look at it I'm like all right if
- 6:34Speaker 2: your runway is too short mm-hmm Maybe lengthen the runway.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah, hear me out.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Extend the runway.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You know, if you're going to continue having a problem,
- 6:45Speaker 2: maybe go ahead and fix it.
- 6:46Speaker 1: That airport was not fun, I will say. It wasn't
- 6:48Speaker 1: the worst airport I've ever been to, but I feel
- 6:50Speaker 1: like the European airports are so unnecessarily complicated. Have you
- 6:54Speaker 1: flown out of Europe recently?
- 6:56Speaker 3: Not recently. It's been over a year.
- 6:57Speaker 1: The London Heathrow Airport?
- 6:59Speaker 3: Oh, it was atrocious. I hate... The.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, hate. The Athens airport.
- 7:06Speaker 1: The Athens airport is the worst airport I've ever been to.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I'm trying to remember because I did go into the
- 7:11Speaker 2: Athens airport, but I'm trying to remember what that.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Experience was like. What was so bad about it?
- 7:14Speaker 1: The Athens airport is the worst airport in the entire world,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and I never hear anybody talk about it. You get there,
- 7:21Speaker 1: it's literally like you've stepped on an anthill. There are
- 7:23Speaker 1: people everywhere. Obviously nothing's in English, so you don't know
- 7:26Speaker 1: where to go. There's like five different security lines and
- 7:29Speaker 1: you don't know which one to go into unless you
- 7:32Speaker 1: really ask. I mean, I figured out when I came
- 7:34Speaker 1: back around, I was like, okay, this is security line B.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So this is for terminal B, but they're all kind
- 7:40Speaker 1: of scattered across the airport with really no rhyme or reason.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And then I remember we had to fly from Crete
- 7:46Speaker 1: into the Athens airport. We had to go through customs
- 7:49Speaker 1: and security again. So we were in Terminal B.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, we did that.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And we had to. I kid you not. I think
- 7:55Speaker 1: we walked a mile and a half to Terminal C
- 7:59Speaker 1: where we had to go through the world's worst security
- 8:01Speaker 1: line again. And then we had to go through passport
- 8:03Speaker 1: control like three different times. It was so unnecessarily stressful.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I feel like that with every airport so far that
- 8:12Speaker 2: I've gone through in Europe. Because I don't know, I mean,
- 8:15Speaker 2: some are stressful in the States, but there is a
- 8:17Speaker 2: feeling when it goes to Europe and it's just so
- 8:19Speaker 2: busy and unorganized. But also, they make you do things differently.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I remember the first time I went through, it was
- 8:25Speaker 2: probably in London, and they make you take out all
- 8:28Speaker 2: of your toiletries and put them in the individual clear bag.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's the most crazy experience because if you have too many.
- 8:35Speaker 3: And they don't fit... Tough shit. You got to get
- 8:38Speaker 3: rid of it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you're S.O.L. And the London Heathrow Airport, I think
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's Terminal 3 because this is I fly out of
- 8:43Speaker 1: here frequently. There's no what I hate about the European airports, too,
- 8:48Speaker 1: is there's no place to sit near your gate. You're
- 8:52Speaker 1: just you're in this holding tank, essentially, with the world's
- 8:55Speaker 1: worst food options and an Hermes for some reason. And
- 8:58Speaker 1: then you have to sit there until about 10 minutes
- 9:00Speaker 1: before you're boarding. And then they're like, all right, go
- 9:02Speaker 1: to gate C-14. And then you have to haul ass
- 9:05Speaker 1: with everybody else to gate C-14. And it's like down
- 9:08Speaker 1: some sneaky hallway. And then you have to get on
- 9:10Speaker 1: a bus to get on the plane.
- 9:12Speaker 3: It's just a lot.
- 9:12Speaker 2: It is funny because, again, it's just something they do
- 9:15Speaker 2: every single day. And I'm sure people.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Complain about it. But I feel like for a lot
- 9:18Speaker 3: of us, we just get used to the hustle and
- 9:19Speaker 3: bustle of it. We're like, all right.
- 9:21Speaker 2: You just have to deal with it. I like the airports,
- 9:24Speaker 2: at least some of them over here, that see a
- 9:27Speaker 2: problem and they're going to fix it. I feel like with, again,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I know you're not the biggest fan of TPA, but
- 9:32Speaker 2: don't take your criticism and be like, all right, let's see.
- 9:35Speaker 3: What we can do here.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Let me be very clear. I do not hate TPA.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I hate MCO. I hate MIA. I hate DFW. There
- 9:45Speaker 1: was a time where I really didn't like the Atlanta airport,
- 9:47Speaker 1: but now I kind of miss it. I think the
- 9:50Speaker 1: TPA just has a dumb setup, but I don't hate it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so just like you have room for improvement
- 9:54Speaker 2: there versus like I always never liked going into, and
- 9:58Speaker 2: maybe you might like it, but like Newark, I always
- 10:00Speaker 2: felt like when i would go into newark over in
- 10:02Speaker 2: jersey i'm like ew this airport feels i don't know
- 10:05Speaker 2: it feels gross the bathrooms are gross.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Like is it grimy yeah i feel like the terminal
- 10:10Speaker 1: i was in last time around it was really nice
- 10:12Speaker 1: like the food options.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Were great maybe they stepped up their game but my
- 10:14Speaker 3: flight was delayed Oh, yeah. Well, I feel like it
- 10:17Speaker 3: always is over there. At Newark, it is.
- 10:19Speaker 1: LaGuardia is the best. LaGuardia is the greatest. JFK Terminal 4,
- 10:24Speaker 1: which is the Delta Terminal.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I like that you remember terminals. I can't remember what
- 10:27Speaker 3: I ate last week, but that's impressive.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Well, it might not be Terminal 4, but whatever the
- 10:31Speaker 1: Delta Terminal is at JFK, fabulous. So many food options,
- 10:36Speaker 1: so much room for activities. The JetBlue Terminal at JFK.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It's not bad, it's just not great.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Is there a airline that you'll never fly because you
- 10:47Speaker 2: just have had so many bad experiences with them? Because
- 10:50Speaker 2: as soon as you said JetBlue, that's the one that
- 10:51Speaker 2: came to me.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Wait, did you have a bad experience on JetBlue?
- 10:53Speaker 3: Oh my god, horrible.
- 10:54Speaker 1: What happened on JetBlue?
- 10:55Speaker 2: They literally flew us to a completely different airport and
- 10:58Speaker 2: dropped us off and then just had no solution for us.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Why did that happen?
- 11:02Speaker 2: Because it was, I think I was going to, this
- 11:05Speaker 2: is a trip I was going to Iceland. And so
- 11:07Speaker 2: to go to Iceland, we had to go to like Boston.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And as we were on our way to Boston, we
- 11:13Speaker 2: got derouted because I guess the runway was a little icy.
- 11:16Speaker 2: So we got dropped or we got stopped in like,
- 11:19Speaker 2: I don't know, another northeastern city.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Maybe it was New York.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I don't know. And they waited and they kept waiting.
- 11:26Speaker 2: They're like, all right, we're just going to hang out here,
- 11:28Speaker 2: wait for the all clear to get in. And we
- 11:30Speaker 2: waited on the plane for like three hours. And then
- 11:32Speaker 2: the airline timed out. So they had to switch out
- 11:35Speaker 2: pilots and crew, and they had no flights available for
- 11:38Speaker 2: the rest of the night.
- 11:38Speaker 3: It was like midnight.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 11:40Speaker 3: So they just kind of left you stranded, like, okay.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Bye-bye. See you. You didn't get a voucher or anything?
- 11:45Speaker 2: No.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You know that chick Erica on TikTok where she tells
- 11:48Speaker 1: you what your rights are when stuff goes wrong?
- 11:49Speaker 3: Yes, the lawyer.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I'm Erica, and I'm a lawyer, and I deserve $ 1, 200.
- 11:52Speaker 3: What?
- 11:52Speaker 1: Well, in the fine print, when you strand me in
- 11:56Speaker 1: a random city, you have to pay me.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Well, you know what's frustrating about it is because I
- 12:00Speaker 2: know those things are available, but they make you go
- 12:02Speaker 2: through so many hoops.
- 12:03Speaker 3: In order to get it, because you.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Call, and then you wait, and then you get somebody
- 12:07Speaker 2: on the line, that's gonna still push back, even though
- 12:10Speaker 2: you know you're right, and then you still might not
- 12:12Speaker 2: get it, and then what I found, and this was
- 12:15Speaker 2: on me, I found frustrating, it's like they had an
- 12:18Speaker 2: option for me, but it did time out, they're like,
- 12:19Speaker 2: all right, we have this voucher for you to use JetBlue,
- 12:22Speaker 2: but you gotta use it in the next like six months.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm not the one that made the mistake.
- 12:27Speaker 3: You guys are.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Like, that should just be money in my pocket, not
- 12:30Speaker 2: a voucher to go back on your silly airline.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like every airline has their moments of bullshit.
- 12:34Speaker 1: They do. And I used to hate it when people
- 12:36Speaker 1: do this, especially like celebrities. They would get on Twitter
- 12:38Speaker 1: and they'd be like, I'm sitting on the tarmac. At
- 12:41Speaker 1: Terminal C, Delta, what are you doing? I'm like, the
- 12:44Speaker 1: social media guy at Delta is not going to be
- 12:46Speaker 1: able to do anything for you. Like, if there's a
- 12:47Speaker 1: ground stop, there's a ground stop. But I did pull
- 12:49Speaker 1: that once. This is the one and only time I
- 12:51Speaker 1: pulled that card. And it's because they were, Delta literally
- 12:54Speaker 1: fucked me over. And it's basically, what happened was, is
- 12:59Speaker 1: my first flight to Scotland or to JFK to Scotland
- 13:04Speaker 1: got canceled. And so they were trying to rebook me.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And I said, don't do that. Like I have to
- 13:08Speaker 1: be there for work, like blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Immediately.
- 13:12Speaker 1: So long story short, I get it in writing that like,
- 13:15Speaker 1: they're not going to cancel my ladder flight. They're just
- 13:17Speaker 1: going to like not rebook me or whatever. So I
- 13:20Speaker 1: ended up rebooking a flight on United, blah, blah, blah.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I finally get to Scotland. I'm in London. This is
- 13:24Speaker 1: like five or six days later, mind you. They cancel
- 13:28Speaker 1: my flight.
- 13:28Speaker 3: It's midnight. I'm in London.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I'm drunk. I get a notification. They've canceled my flight
- 13:33Speaker 1: back to the States. To rebook, it's like $ 4, 000. And
- 13:37Speaker 1: I'm just like, you guys, I didn't want you.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Why would you cancel that flight? I didn't want you
- 13:40Speaker 3: to do that.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I'm panicking. I'm freaking out. I'm crying to my camera.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I'm drunk in London being like I'm a woman stranded alone.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I just lost my job too so I'm like what
- 13:49Speaker 1: the fuck am I supposed to do and somebody from
- 13:52Speaker 1: Delta because Delta Atlanta obviously the whole thing connection saw
- 13:55Speaker 1: it and then they upgraded me to premium select so
- 13:57Speaker 1: oh there we go that was very nice of them
- 13:58Speaker 1: they made up for that situation yeah so thank you
- 14:00Speaker 1: for not fucking me over Delta but like I mean
- 14:02Speaker 1: really that's that's crazy like it is it's an objectively
- 14:05Speaker 1: crazy thing to do.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Well what's wild is imagine if you hadn't have done
- 14:09Speaker 2: that and let's just say if you didn't have the
- 14:10Speaker 2: resources to get back on.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Like, $ 4, 000 to get back?
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm like, it would have been cheaper for me to stay, like,
- 14:16Speaker 1: another week in London. I mean, but then I'm going
- 14:18Speaker 1: to miss Christmas. Yes. I'm going to miss Christmas with
- 14:20Speaker 1: my family, Delta. Like, that's so effed up.
- 14:22Speaker 3: That could have been a Hallmark movie, though.
- 14:23Speaker 1: No.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Lost away from home on Christmas.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Listen, that's what I thought last time I went to London.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And I was like, why does London constantly want me
- 14:30Speaker 1: just to be effed over?
- 14:32Speaker 3: I don't know. They just want to hold you there
- 14:33Speaker 3: while you're there.
- 14:34Speaker 1: They just want to hold me there. I'm like, I
- 14:35Speaker 1: don't think I'm supposed to be here. Every time I
- 14:36Speaker 1: go there, I'm like, I love being here, but I'm
- 14:38Speaker 1: not supposed to be here.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Yeah, you're supposed to just... Dip your toe in. Yeah.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Enjoy the experience.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I enjoy visiting, but I don't think I'm ever going
- 14:44Speaker 1: to be an expat. No.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I would always say, like, who was I just talking
- 14:47Speaker 2: to about if I was to move somewhere that I
- 14:49Speaker 2: really loved? Like, we romanticized the idea of, like, moving
- 14:52Speaker 2: to Key West when we were there. Like, let's just
- 14:54Speaker 2: say you just drop. Because we were talking about the
- 14:56Speaker 2: people that just do the boating stuff all day. Like
- 14:59Speaker 2: when we did the snorkeling.
- 15:01Speaker 3: What a cool job. They just bring us on this boat.
- 15:04Speaker 3: They're out on the water all day.
- 15:05Speaker 2: They get sunshine. They just talk to people that are
- 15:07Speaker 2: on the best vacation they can be. They're getting snorkeling.
- 15:10Speaker 2: They're getting free food and free drinks.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Everyone's in a really good mood.
- 15:13Speaker 2: I was like, that seems like a pretty dope gig.
- 15:16Speaker 2: And so we started talking about options here in St.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Pete.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I was like, what if? I don't even know how
- 15:19Speaker 3: to drive a boat. But what if? Get a boat.
- 15:22Speaker 3: And start doing these little sunset cruises off of St.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Pete.
- 15:26Speaker 2: You just charge people to come on for a sunset.
- 15:28Speaker 2: You give them wine, a little bit of hors d'oeuvres.
- 15:31Speaker 3: And you just charge them, like, I don't know, $ 130.
- 15:33Speaker 2: That sounds great because you're getting the experience and getting
- 15:37Speaker 2: paid for it.
- 15:39Speaker 3: I started putting that in my mind. I was like,
- 15:40Speaker 3: wait a second. There might be a there there.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I bet that gets old after a while, though.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Maybe. And I think you need to have a level
- 15:46Speaker 3: of expertise.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Because, yeah, of course.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I'm grateful ours was smooth sailing, but there are going
- 15:52Speaker 2: to be occasional extremely drunk folk, emergencies, tough situations out
- 15:58Speaker 2: on the water that if you don't have that expertise,
- 16:02Speaker 2: you're in for some real tough situations because it's kind
- 16:05Speaker 2: of like.
- 16:05Speaker 3: A pilot, like a pilot.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Like all the flights are really good. And for the
- 16:09Speaker 2: most part, they've even said this. on like tiktok if
- 16:11Speaker 2: you watch i'm like yeah we're on autopilot we're there
- 16:14Speaker 2: though if anything goes wrong we have every resource possible
- 16:20Speaker 2: in order to make their this thing gets down safely you're.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Literally keeping us alive in worst case scenario and worst
- 16:25Speaker 1: case scenario is gonna happen that's the thing so you're
- 16:27Speaker 1: not necessarily paying for the autopilot you're paying for i
- 16:30Speaker 1: don't want to be on the flight that goes.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Down yeah exactly and i think the same thing about
- 16:33Speaker 2: flight attendants where i'm like yeah it looks like from
- 16:36Speaker 2: the outside in like okay they're just walking up and down, serving,
- 16:39Speaker 2: checking in on people.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Now, they're there. Things go horrible. But also, think about
- 16:43Speaker 3: all the bullshit they have to deal with with customers. Oh,
- 16:46Speaker 3: my God.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I hate being on the flight with other people. They
- 16:48Speaker 1: have to serve those people and be nice to them.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And you ever hear, like, somebody over say something to
- 16:54Speaker 2: a flight attendant or just, I don't know, somebody in service,
- 16:57Speaker 2: and it just, like, irks you?
- 16:58Speaker 1: No.
- 16:59Speaker 3: And they just complain. I've heard it so many times.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I have my headphones in, usually. I'm like, I don't
- 17:02Speaker 1: want to be here.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I've caught people, and they're just being the
- 17:05Speaker 2: most outrageous, like, horrible humans to a person that's just working,
- 17:10Speaker 2: working to serve them. And for the most part, I
- 17:12Speaker 2: give the flight attendants or anybody like working in a
- 17:14Speaker 2: restaurant in that setting so much kudos, so much grace
- 17:18Speaker 2: for being able to have so much patient for just
- 17:21Speaker 2: some horrible humans. Cause I'm sure it happens probably if
- 17:24Speaker 2: not every flight, every other flight.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Oh, for sure. Where someone just has a horrible experience.
- 17:30Speaker 2: They got to let you know about it and they're
- 17:32Speaker 2: not going to let you, I guess, live it down
- 17:34Speaker 2: while they're on that plane.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 17:36Speaker 2: So, yeah, I guess it's not as– I have, like,
- 17:39Speaker 2: a cousin that works in airlines. I'm curious on how
- 17:41Speaker 2: they experience it because they've done it for, like, 30 years.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And they love it. People that do it. It's cool.
- 17:46Speaker 3: You get to see new destinations.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And it does seem like a cool opportunity to get
- 17:50Speaker 2: paid because you get paid by, like– obviously, we all
- 17:52Speaker 2: get paid by the hour.
- 17:53Speaker 3: But, like, you can take on longer flights. You're like,
- 17:55Speaker 3: you know what? I want a big paycheck.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:56Speaker 3: I'll be the flight attendant going to Hawaii.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but you only get paid for the time that
- 17:59Speaker 1: you're on the flight. So think about when flights get delayed,
- 18:01Speaker 1: you don't get paid for that.
- 18:02Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 18:04Speaker 3: I think that's wild. That is wild.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And also, because I've looked at that before, like when
- 18:08Speaker 1: you start, you make like $ 45, 000 a year. But then
- 18:10Speaker 1: it takes you like five years to.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Get to like $ 85, 000.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? I mean, if you
- 18:15Speaker 1: start when you're 19, you know, you're living a pretty
- 18:17Speaker 1: great life. But, you know, you start at 35, you're like,
- 18:19Speaker 1: what am I doing?
- 18:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess for the people that are doing it.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I salute you.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Salute you. Thank you for keeping us safe in the
- 18:25Speaker 1: friendly skies.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Every now and then when I'm driving, I do this.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Do you ever get that bug to drive? You just
- 18:31Speaker 2: want to hit the road for a long time? Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Sometimes I romanticize that life, too, where I'm like.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Like a truck driver.
- 18:37Speaker 3: I may be, but I don't know if I'd want
- 18:39Speaker 3: to drive.
- 18:39Speaker 2: No, I don't know if I'd want to drive a
- 18:41Speaker 2: truck because I don't like being stagnant for that long.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Like a limo. You want to be like an Uber driver?
- 18:46Speaker 2: Something where I could just sit and just like I
- 18:48Speaker 2: love like listening to books or podcasts or radio like
- 18:51Speaker 2: we do. Yeah, I'm glad we do this because the
- 18:53Speaker 2: people that need these kind of like. you know bits
- 18:56Speaker 2: of entertainment i just sometimes look at that like that'd
- 18:58Speaker 2: be sweet yeah i love driving up and seeing family
- 19:01Speaker 2: up in north carolina because that gives me 10 hours
- 19:04Speaker 2: to just absorb as many podcasts as possible it kind
- 19:08Speaker 2: of seems nice i don't know i don't want to
- 19:09Speaker 2: be a truck.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Driver so i mean what job allows you to do
- 19:12Speaker 3: that i don't.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Know maybe on a tractor and you just get to
- 19:14Speaker 2: listen to stuff and be a farmer maybe i'm just
- 19:17Speaker 2: digging the farmer life slow down or the boating life
- 19:20Speaker 2: go take people on a sunset cruise you could totally
- 19:23Speaker 2: do that It just feels, you know, as I was
- 19:25Speaker 2: out there this weekend, I was like, to have something
- 19:27Speaker 2: where you're in the environments of like, I don't know.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Sunshine, the land, water. It does something for your soul. Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Well, I hope that you enjoy embarking on that journey.
- 19:39Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 19:40Speaker 1: If that's what you want to do.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I don't know. We'll see.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I feel like our lives, and I've listened to somebody
- 19:45Speaker 2: say this before, like we have different parallels. We have
- 19:47Speaker 2: all these different options, of course, that we might never know.
- 19:50Speaker 2: what that would have turned into.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I know.
- 19:51Speaker 2: But that was just one that I thought of this
- 19:53Speaker 2: weekend where I was like, hmm, wonder what that would
- 19:56Speaker 2: be like. And it's like, maybe it's like you said,
- 19:58Speaker 2: maybe it does get old.
- 19:59Speaker 1: It's very much like a drunk uncle career.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 20:03Speaker 1: Like. I've never met a captain that I'm not like,
- 20:05Speaker 1: that's somebody's drunkle.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Hell yeah. Do you know what I mean?
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 3: No, that's how they were too.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Like, I feel like you have to be a childless
- 20:11Speaker 1: man who just has a series of lovers in different countries. Like,
- 20:15Speaker 1: that's the qualification to be a boat skipper. Like, you
- 20:18Speaker 1: have some ominous past and you're like, yeah, here I
- 20:20Speaker 1: am in the Virgin Islands just sailing away.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Just boating away.
- 20:24Speaker 1: No 401k, just me and vibes.
- 20:27Speaker 2: What is the most impressive job that you think of? Like,
- 20:31Speaker 2: of course they get paid pretty big, but you look
- 20:32Speaker 2: at it and you're like, That's damn near. Like, I
- 20:34Speaker 2: think of like a what do they call it? Like
- 20:37Speaker 2: a cruise ship captain. I'm like, that's impressive where you
- 20:42Speaker 2: look at that crew. I'm like, OK, even if I
- 20:44Speaker 2: wanted to, I don't think I ever could because that
- 20:46Speaker 2: looks impossible.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I'm driving those big ass ships like a job that
- 20:51Speaker 3: truly impresses you.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Well, flying a plane is crazy to me. I never
- 20:55Speaker 1: like the thought of every time I see and I'm
- 20:57Speaker 1: not on the dating apps anymore. Anytime I see a
- 20:58Speaker 1: man who's like, I'm a flight instructor, I'm like, nope. Um,
- 21:01Speaker 1: cause you're going to make me get in a tiny
- 21:02Speaker 1: plane and I don't want to see that.
- 21:03Speaker 3: You know, that'd be sad. Like I remember they didn't
- 21:05Speaker 3: pilot Pete do that in the bachelor.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:07Speaker 1: That wouldn't have. No, I have too much anxiety.
- 21:09Speaker 3: You would have said no. He's like, I want to
- 21:10Speaker 3: take you out on my plane. You're like, nah, I'm good.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Immediately.
- 21:13Speaker 1: No. And I'm like, yeah, I've seen too many plane crash.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Like I lived near the DI airport and every time
- 21:19Speaker 1: I walk by it, I go one of these days,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I just feel like something nefarious is going to happen.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Just because it's all those tiny little planes and helicopters
- 21:26Speaker 1: and the TGH helicopters always flying way too close to me.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I was literally on the phone near the basin and
- 21:32Speaker 1: I was talking to my friend Taylor and it was like,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I mean, it was so close. I could hear it. Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I could feel the wind gust on my face. I'm like,
- 21:40Speaker 1: that's a helicopter.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, that's the crappy thing because I do.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It's very rare that it happens. But at the same time,
- 21:48Speaker 2: it's not because it still does happen. But you have
- 21:51Speaker 2: to have so much training that I don't know. I'll
- 21:53Speaker 2: trust somebody.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And then every now and then something goes wrong and
- 21:56Speaker 1: you die. Like if something goes wrong on the air,
- 21:58Speaker 1: we get fined $ 30, 000 maybe.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 22:01Speaker 1: But if something goes wrong at your job at the airport,
- 22:07Speaker 1: 260 people die.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 1: There's no room for error. Or mean tweet Delta, which
- 22:12Speaker 1: is even worse. We had so much turbulence on the flight.
- 22:16Speaker 1: How dare you? Captain Murphy doesn't know what she's doing.
- 22:19Speaker 3: It is impressive, the people that do it.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I thought about maybe, maybe, I know it's expensive, but
- 22:23Speaker 2: like getting a pilot's license I think would be cool.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah. Because casual people do that, you know.
- 22:27Speaker 1: It's a very Florida thing to do. I feel like
- 22:29Speaker 1: a lot of people here fly airplanes.
- 22:30Speaker 2: And there's a lot of little airports that you just
- 22:32Speaker 2: bop from here and go to like Fort Pierce across
- 22:34Speaker 2: the state.
- 22:35Speaker 3: They have one in Arcadia.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Brianna did a whole story that literally people from around
- 22:39Speaker 2: the state would just fly there for tacos on Tuesday.
- 22:42Speaker 3: That's it.
- 22:42Speaker 2: They just fly in for lunch and then they fly
- 22:44Speaker 2: back home. What kind of life do you got to
- 22:46Speaker 2: live to have that access?
- 22:47Speaker 1: Some people love it. They love being up in the air.
- 22:49Speaker 1: It's their thing. But I don't know. Like I saw that.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I saw the JFK documentary once and I was like, nope,
- 22:54Speaker 1: no more tiny planes for me. I know he wasn't
- 22:57Speaker 1: very good at his job, but I'm like, I barely
- 22:59Speaker 1: trust the commercial airline pilots. Do you know what I mean?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, it's I guess it's like you said,
- 23:04Speaker 2: like if anything goes wrong. There's not much room for error. Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Like you can't just have an off day. Yeah. Or
- 23:10Speaker 3: else it's going to be absolutely horrible.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Anyway, with Halloween coming up, I was wondering on, you
- 23:16Speaker 2: remember when you were a kid, did your parents ever
- 23:18Speaker 2: make you dress up as like the most ridiculous things
- 23:21Speaker 2: growing up or anything that you look back on that
- 23:22Speaker 2: you're like, I either I hated it as a kid
- 23:26Speaker 2: or maybe it was offensive as a kid.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Is this when you show me your Sacagawea photos from 2003?
- 23:30Speaker 2: I definitely have images of me as like dressed up as...
- 23:35Speaker 2: But this is what they made us do in preschool.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Like dress up as like, I don't know, like Indians,
- 23:39Speaker 2: you know?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like there's probably a photo of me
- 23:42Speaker 1: at four years old doing like a Thanksgiving play with
- 23:45Speaker 1: like a feather in my hair. For sure. I can't
- 23:47Speaker 1: picture it. So maybe I did. Maybe my parents were
- 23:49Speaker 1: woke back in 2002.
- 23:50Speaker 2: I wonder if kids still, I don't know. You and
- 23:52Speaker 2: I don't have kids. I wonder if kids still do
- 23:54Speaker 2: that though. Cause that's just like a part of learning.
- 23:55Speaker 1: No, they don't. Like I remember when I joined my sorority,
- 23:58Speaker 1: we had a whole, uh, PowerPoint, uh, list of things
- 24:03Speaker 1: you should not dress up as they're like just in
- 24:05Speaker 1: case you weren't taught this don't go to a party
- 24:08Speaker 1: as pocahontas or whatever unless you're a native american or whatever.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yes and that makes sense now that we're adults or
- 24:14Speaker 2: like if you're going into college.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Yeah yeah but i mean sometimes you just have to
- 24:16Speaker 1: be told like you can't dress up as mulan or
- 24:19Speaker 1: pocahontas for xyz reason or whatever i don't know maybe
- 24:21Speaker 1: mulan's fine i don't know but there are just some
- 24:24Speaker 1: things where it's like this is not Right.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Like, because we thought it was harmless.
- 24:28Speaker 1: We're like, well, we're American and they're the Native American.
- 24:30Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Like, I don't know. And
- 24:31Speaker 3: then you go into history and you're.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Like, oh.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and then you understand why. And then you never
- 24:35Speaker 1: dress up as Pocahontas again.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I just wonder if, like, four-year-olds do that, though, still.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Because it's like, it's a four-year-old, you know? It's like,
- 24:42Speaker 2: is that?
- 24:42Speaker 3: But I guess then it goes down to the parents.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, do you have a costume that you
- 24:45Speaker 1: can think of?
- 24:46Speaker 2: No, I was just thinking about some of the costumes
- 24:49Speaker 2: as I was, like, looking at some of the trends.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And as a kid, I remember, like, I dressed up as, like, oh,
- 24:53Speaker 2: I dressed up as, like, a cowboy.
- 24:54Speaker 3: And, like, I hated it. At first, I wanted it.
- 24:57Speaker 3: I know so many parents are going to deal with that.
- 24:59Speaker 1: And then you were mad at yourself for choosing it?
- 25:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Like, legitimately pissed at it. Why? I don't know. I
- 25:04Speaker 3: just hated it.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I had this, like, little stupid mustache on that, like,
- 25:07Speaker 2: I don't know, was drawn on. And I remember, like,
- 25:09Speaker 2: just being so upset when I looked in the mirror.
- 25:11Speaker 2: And I was like, get this thing off of me.
- 25:13Speaker 3: And if I could use adult language at that age,
- 25:15Speaker 3: I would say, get this fucking thing off of me.
- 25:17Speaker 2: But I was just a kid. But that was one
- 25:19Speaker 2: of the outfits I remember dressing as. And then you
- 25:21Speaker 2: get to a certain age and you dress as the
- 25:23Speaker 2: same thing pretty.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Much every year.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you remember your final Halloween?
- 25:26Speaker 3: My final one is like being a kid kid?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yeah, because my parents told me I couldn't dress up
- 25:30Speaker 1: for Halloween after like eighth grade. And I didn't know
- 25:33Speaker 1: that my last Halloween was my last Halloween. I was like,
- 25:35Speaker 1: I would have gone harder. Damn, that's kind of messed up.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I can't remember if it was fifth grade or eighth grade.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It might have been eighth grade. It was either fifth
- 25:42Speaker 1: grade or eighth grade.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I don't, I mean, truthfully, I don't think there should
- 25:45Speaker 3: be a cutoff.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Okay, well, let me take that back.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I'm not going to go around trick-or-treating right now as
- 25:51Speaker 2: a mere 30-year-old with no kids.
- 25:53Speaker 1: You're not? No.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Sounds like a great idea.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Some adults do.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I'm just going to go to people's houses and be like,
- 26:00Speaker 1: do any single men live here? I'm just going to
- 26:01Speaker 1: trick-or-treat for men.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Trick-or-treat.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Trick-or-treat. And then, like, you're going to find out if
- 26:06Speaker 1: it's a trick on the other side or a treat.
- 26:07Speaker 3: That's actually what dating apps are like, it seems like.
- 26:09Speaker 1: It's honestly just hinge in real life.
- 26:11Speaker 2: But that's what I cut myself off when I went to, obviously, like,
- 26:15Speaker 2: I still went trick-or-treating as a senior in high school.
- 26:18Speaker 1: You did? Yes, 100%.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Because that's where you got to go literally drive.
- 26:22Speaker 2: And we would have over in Vero, there's a couple like,
- 26:25Speaker 2: I don't know, ritzy areas like over on the island.
- 26:28Speaker 3: So you'd go to those neighborhoods. I'd be able to drive.
- 26:30Speaker 2: We'd go as teenagers and just walk around because you
- 26:34Speaker 2: knew it was going to be good as candy as
- 26:36Speaker 2: like a 17 year old.
- 26:38Speaker 3: And I have no shame in that. Why not? Still
- 26:40Speaker 3: a kid. I don't know.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I remember in high school, trick or treating was that
- 26:43Speaker 1: thing that you just didn't do anymore because that was
- 26:44Speaker 1: for kids.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Oh, no, I did the opposite.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I was like, hell yeah, I'm going to put on.
- 26:48Speaker 2: But that's where it became. And I could understand because
- 26:50Speaker 2: I do the same thing now as an adult. If
- 26:52Speaker 2: somebody's going to come to me as a 17 year
- 26:53Speaker 2: old and all they did is throw on a mask.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, all right.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Take the frickin candy.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Like, what are you doing?
- 26:59Speaker 1: You didn't even try.
- 27:00Speaker 3: But I do that. I did that.
- 27:01Speaker 1: But also, that's why you're 17. You know, you like don't.
- 27:05Speaker 3: You don't.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You don't trick or treat. You're 17.
- 27:07Speaker 2: One thing I get a lot of I get a
- 27:09Speaker 2: lot of joy of now is actually this is it's
- 27:11Speaker 2: just crazy how you like you catch yourself noticing things
- 27:14Speaker 2: as you get older. Like giving out candy as an adult.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Like it brings me joy. I'm like, oh my God,
- 27:19Speaker 2: this is so fun. You know, come over like here,
- 27:21Speaker 2: take all this. And you see how much joy these
- 27:23Speaker 2: families have when they just walk by.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Now that you bring that up, this is my first
- 27:26Speaker 1: year living in a house.
- 27:28Speaker 3: You're going to get trick or treaters.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I'm going to get, yeah. Cause I live on like,
- 27:31Speaker 1: I live on a very, um, I live in a
- 27:33Speaker 1: populous family area.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Are you going to like, okay, so there's two options here.
- 27:37Speaker 2: You can either turn on the light and be the
- 27:39Speaker 2: person that's like, I'm going to give out candy.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to be walking past those kids in
- 27:42Speaker 1: my in my whore Halloween outfit.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Like, bye, kids.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Got to go to the club.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Sorry, guys. Shane Gillis said I got to dress like
- 27:49Speaker 3: a whore. I know.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But I'm like, I wonder if that would be a
- 27:51Speaker 1: good way to meet people if I just do it
- 27:52Speaker 1: around like the daylight hours.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because I think trick or treating goes down for
- 27:55Speaker 2: like six to eight or like five to eight.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I don't have kids.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I just sit on the steps and go, hi, kids.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. Like that brings my heart a
- 28:03Speaker 3: lot of joy. I'm like, man, look at y'all. It's
- 28:06Speaker 3: so cute here.
- 28:07Speaker 2: You know, take some M & M' s.
- 28:09Speaker 1: They're cuties.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Yeah, they get all dressed up.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I look forward to the days where I have like
- 28:13Speaker 2: a house and like a family oriented neighborhood where you
- 28:17Speaker 2: could go around and like you're wheeling your kid in
- 28:19Speaker 2: a little wagon. They're dressed as a bumblebee and you
- 28:23Speaker 2: throw candy at them.
- 28:24Speaker 3: That's wholesome.
- 28:25Speaker 1: You want to throw candy at your kid?
- 28:27Speaker 3: My kid, yes.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I'll definitely throw candy at my kid. He has all
- 28:30Speaker 1: these dents in his head. You can call him Flathead Tablin.
- 28:33Speaker 2: He's going to learn to catch real quick if he
- 28:35Speaker 2: wants to get the treat. But as other families are
- 28:37Speaker 2: walking by, I think you should. What are you going
- 28:40Speaker 2: to do for Halloween?
- 28:40Speaker 3: Do you know?
- 28:40Speaker 1: I don't know. My friend texted me about it today,
- 28:43Speaker 1: and she was like, we got to dress up and
- 28:45Speaker 1: do something. I'm like, I don't know what people do here.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Because Halloween has never been my thing. cup of tea
- 28:50Speaker 1: like I've just never like I'm not like a big
- 28:52Speaker 1: dress-up person but for some reason I wanted to do
- 28:54Speaker 1: something last year because I was unemployed what else was
- 28:55Speaker 1: I doing yeah true and this year for some reason
- 28:57Speaker 1: like I want to go out for it but I've
- 28:59Speaker 1: never been a big Halloween person like I feel like
- 29:01Speaker 1: everybody has a has a a holiday that that one's
- 29:05Speaker 1: not your holiday correct like Christmas is a holiday I
- 29:08Speaker 1: celebrate Thanksgiving is not my holiday Halloween has never really
- 29:12Speaker 1: been my holiday but like I don't know Labor Day
- 29:15Speaker 1: Memorial Day weekend Love a three day weekend, y'all.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Turn up in the middle of summer.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Maybe I'm just not a holiday person now that I
- 29:23Speaker 1: think about it, because New Year's Eve is on my holiday.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Oh, New Year's Eve is a fun one. But that's
- 29:27Speaker 3: one like I look. I don't know.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Now I'm at the age where I'm like, I look
- 29:30Speaker 2: forward to the ones that are like more sit at home. Like,
- 29:32Speaker 2: I love Thanksgiving.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Like, it's so simple that I think I love it
- 29:36Speaker 2: for that reason where I'm like, you don't got to
- 29:37Speaker 2: spend a lot of money getting other people gifts. you
- 29:40Speaker 2: just go together and you eat a ton yeah that's
- 29:43Speaker 2: awesome so.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I like christmas like the christmas season yes because it's
- 29:46Speaker 1: the fun part of winter and then after christmas it's
- 29:48Speaker 1: like the not fun part of winter.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Yeah well yeah because then you just have nothing.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Because then you're just cold and nobody wants to do
- 29:55Speaker 1: anything nobody's drinking is it january Oh, that's true. You
- 29:58Speaker 1: know what I mean? There's no, I mean, I guess
- 30:00Speaker 1: it's hockey season in Tampa, but there's like no good,
- 30:02Speaker 1: there's no sports on usually.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Everyone's taking a break, but that's usually where like big
- 30:06Speaker 2: college football games are going down, college playoffs now.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I know, but I'm a Florida fan. Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 3: It doesn't look like y'all are going to go the distance.
- 30:12Speaker 1: I know. I guess basketball season. Maybe basketball season.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Yeah. That's not that, I don't know. I don't get
- 30:17Speaker 3: that excited. Yeah.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I'm not really that excited about basketball, honestly. I never
- 30:20Speaker 1: really am. I'm not. Just kind of like, when we're good,
- 30:23Speaker 1: we're good, but when we're not, whatever.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Some people are, I guess, if you're really into dressing up,
- 30:26Speaker 2: then Halloween's fun. It kind of comes and goes for me,
- 30:29Speaker 2: but I'm going to get into the dressing up season
- 30:30Speaker 2: this year.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so, too. I just, like, I keep,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I think I'm excited to dress up this year, but
- 30:35Speaker 1: every single year, like, I want to do a couple's costume. Like,
- 30:37Speaker 1: everything I want to do is a couple's costume. Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 3: But I'm like, no, dude. Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Let's see, would it be, yeah, we're too close to
- 30:43Speaker 2: it now because you definitely couldn't, let's just say hypothetically.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Yeah, no. You know, you have those cutoffs, so it's
- 30:47Speaker 3: like cuffing season.
- 30:48Speaker 1: It's the 13th, I know, I missed another cuffing season.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for this one.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I guess maybe I have like another month. I feel
- 30:55Speaker 1: like cuffing season is everything up until December.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you, because doesn't it play out if
- 31:01Speaker 2: you were to meet someone, would you do like Christmas
- 31:03Speaker 2: with them?
- 31:04Speaker 3: And where's the cutoff? You just want to have somebody
- 31:06Speaker 3: for the holidays.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I've missed Christmas cutoff. I haven't missed Thanksgiving cutoff because
- 31:09Speaker 1: my family's going to do it here. So like if
- 31:11Speaker 1: I met someone, they'd be like, come on, swing through.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Jeremy. Okay, so like Jeremy.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I don't know. I just come up with J names
- 31:16Speaker 1: every single time I reference a man.
- 31:18Speaker 3: So a hypothetical. Would you take him to your Thanksgiving
- 31:21Speaker 3: a month in? That's actually, I think it would be fine.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I think it's fine.
- 31:25Speaker 1: If a man could get past three weeks with me,
- 31:27Speaker 1: I think he deserves to come back. He deserves to
- 31:30Speaker 1: come to Thanksgiving.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Kudos. Kudos.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but also, like, I feel like it's casual. Like,
- 31:34Speaker 1: you just want to come have, like, dinner with my
- 31:35Speaker 1: family and, I don't know, leave.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yeah, just have a good time. It is a time
- 31:40Speaker 2: to meet everybody. Is your whole family going to come
- 31:42Speaker 2: together here?
- 31:42Speaker 1: It's, like, my whole mom's side of the family that
- 31:44Speaker 1: usually does something.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Oh, that's... Well, I don't know. Is that fun for you?
- 31:48Speaker 1: No. Okay.
- 31:49Speaker 3: It's not fun for a lot of people. Like, a
- 31:50Speaker 3: lot of people, it's like, we don't... I don't have
- 31:52Speaker 3: a big family.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 3: So it's, like, not much drama could happen between my dad, brother,
- 31:57Speaker 3: and me and my aunt.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 31:58Speaker 3: However.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I definitely, back in the, like, years ago, there would
- 32:03Speaker 2: be more drama when more family members were around.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Because it would be like, oh, God. Okay, who's going
- 32:07Speaker 3: to say something? Who's going to piss off one person?
- 32:09Speaker 2: Oh.
- 32:09Speaker 3: What would be the fight?
- 32:10Speaker 1: Like, big political differences? Oh, my God. It's always a
- 32:13Speaker 1: political fight.
- 32:14Speaker 2: It is.
- 32:14Speaker 3: It is. You know what sucks?
- 32:16Speaker 2: Like, that part sucks. Like, I don't care, you know,
- 32:18Speaker 2: whatever your affiliation is. It just sucks if that's the
- 32:21Speaker 2: reason why there's drama. I'm like, wow, we finally got
- 32:23Speaker 2: together the one time a year. And we're going to
- 32:25Speaker 2: let this random thing that like these random bimbos dictate
- 32:30Speaker 2: our family gathering.
- 32:31Speaker 1: No, literally. They're literally random bimbos that control the world.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Oh, I've had. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, it's it sucks.
- 32:38Speaker 3: It sucks.
- 32:38Speaker 2: And I know a lot of people are in that
- 32:39Speaker 2: position where it's like you're with your family and sometimes
- 32:41Speaker 2: you don't see eye to eye.
- 32:42Speaker 3: I've had it.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I've had.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Screaming wars with family members. Really? Heck yeah.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So what was the political issue that got you so
- 32:48Speaker 1: fired up?
- 32:48Speaker 3: Let's go ahead and jump in. Absolutely not.
- 32:50Speaker 1: And now defend it. Wait, I'm actually curious. What got
- 32:52Speaker 1: you so fired up that you were in a screaming match?
- 32:54Speaker 3: Okay, let me take screaming back.
- 32:56Speaker 2: I would say heated argument where I literally threatened to leave.
- 32:58Speaker 1: You were in a heated rivalry.
- 32:59Speaker 3: I was in a heated rivalry.
- 33:02Speaker 2: You were in a heated rivalry with Uncle Jim. With like,
- 33:04Speaker 2: you know, older family members. And I just, I got,
- 33:08Speaker 2: it was just so wild to not see eye to eye.
- 33:11Speaker 3: On what issue? We know we can't get into that.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I'll cut it if you want me to cut it.
- 33:15Speaker 3: It was on the issue.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Well, actually, truthfully, it was kind of just like I
- 33:19Speaker 2: was just kind of standing up for women. Pretty much
- 33:22Speaker 2: is what I narrow it down to. How women should
- 33:25Speaker 2: be spoken about or represented and all these things. But, yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 2: I've absolutely had that where it's I felt that if
- 33:30Speaker 2: you if you're going over to your families for this
- 33:32Speaker 2: holiday season, you're on edge a little bit.
- 33:34Speaker 3: I know exactly that feeling.
- 33:35Speaker 1: So anyway, vote Jill Stein.
- 33:40Speaker 3: I'm kidding.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Were you going to bat for Jill Stein? Were you like,
- 33:44Speaker 1: green party?
- 33:45Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, no. I don't even remember. It was
- 33:48Speaker 3: so dicey. I don't even know.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I feel like actually, this is again, not political, but
- 33:53Speaker 2: it is kind of crazy because I'm like, oh, we're
- 33:54Speaker 2: about to be in political season like in November here
- 33:57Speaker 2: where it's some Big decisions.
- 33:59Speaker 3: To be made. But what's annoying, I don't know if
- 34:02Speaker 3: anybody gets it. I get fatigued from all the ads.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Are you getting a lot of political texts?
- 34:06Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Every day.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I'm like, who signed me up for this? Who got
- 34:09Speaker 1: my number?
- 34:10Speaker 3: That's my... Because I don't care who texts me. I
- 34:11Speaker 3: just get mad that somebody texted me. They could be
- 34:13Speaker 3: either candidate. I'm like, who gave you my number? What
- 34:17Speaker 3: list am I on that gave you the right? I
- 34:18Speaker 3: also understand. I'm like, that's literally the way they got
- 34:20Speaker 3: to get their word out. No, I know. I get it.
- 34:22Speaker 1: But I'm like....
- 34:24Speaker 3: I didn't agree to this.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I didn't sign up for your list. I know.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Don't blow me up.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Don't put me on your list.
- 34:29Speaker 2: But I do get fatigued from like I was watching
- 34:31Speaker 2: some of the Rays games or like even the Lightning games.
- 34:34Speaker 2: And anytime it's commercials, it's like everything is an ad.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Boom, boom, boom. And it's like, God, it is so dark.
- 34:42Speaker 3: The way they just go at each other. I'm like,
- 34:44Speaker 3: good Lord.
- 34:45Speaker 1: It's so mean. What if we did attack ads on
- 34:47Speaker 1: other radio stations?
- 34:49Speaker 3: That would be so fun. Can you imagine? That's a
- 34:51Speaker 3: great idea.
- 34:52Speaker 1: We used to do, on the Burt Show, we would
- 34:54Speaker 1: do political attack ads, but it was just taking our
- 34:57Speaker 1: quotes out of context. Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. And so,
- 34:59Speaker 1: I mean, there was no, like, politicalness to it. It
- 35:01Speaker 1: was just like, Abby believes that all men should be tall.
- 35:04Speaker 1: And it'd be like, I fucking hate short men. It's
- 35:06Speaker 1: like some kind of botched.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like they were doing a political ad.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Yeah, essentially.
- 35:10Speaker 2: We've done that on the old show that I was on,
- 35:13Speaker 2: and it was really funny. What if we went back
- 35:16Speaker 2: and forth with your old show? I mean, I think
- 35:19Speaker 2: it would be hilarious. I don't think our higher-ups would
- 35:22Speaker 2: like it.
- 35:23Speaker 3: No, they would hate it. But we could do that
- 35:24Speaker 3: with the station here. But that's good for both people.
- 35:27Speaker 3: I think so, too.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I know.
- 35:29Speaker 2: I think radio needs to do more things like that,
- 35:31Speaker 2: where it's like, bring it back, focus on what we're
- 35:34Speaker 2: doing here.
- 35:35Speaker 3: And, like, just make radio fun again.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I know, and I feel like the scuffle we got
- 35:41Speaker 1: in with The Bone has made management trigger-shy with letting
- 35:44Speaker 1: me on The Bone.
- 35:45Speaker 3: I know, because I did see something that.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Did you see the post yesterday about Shane Gillis? Yes.
- 35:49Speaker 1: I was going to comment something, but I was like, listen,
- 35:51Speaker 1: I can only be called a whore so many times
- 35:53Speaker 1: in one day, which you... Please avoid my comment section
- 35:56Speaker 1: on my recent reels. It's actually....
- 36:01Speaker 3: It's scary in there. It is. What's so scary is
- 36:04Speaker 3: how many... Well, I guess.
- 36:05Speaker 2: If you look at the biggest picture of how many
- 36:06Speaker 2: people are on this earth, I guess it's not that scary.
- 36:08Speaker 3: But when you look at like the pure numbers alone,
- 36:10Speaker 3: you're like.
- 36:10Speaker 1: It's overwhelming how many men are in my comments. And
- 36:14Speaker 1: it's weird because I'll look at other women who are
- 36:16Speaker 1: saying the exact same thing as me or having very
- 36:19Speaker 1: similar content. And it's all people who are who have
- 36:21Speaker 1: the same view on the Shane.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Gillis monologue as me.
- 36:23Speaker 1: And I don't get it. I don't know if I
- 36:24Speaker 1: just ended up on the wrong side of the algorithm.
- 36:26Speaker 1: If I wasn't as poignant with my content as I
- 36:30Speaker 1: thought I was. Do you know what I mean? Because
- 36:31Speaker 1: I'm like, how am I getting called a slut bitch
- 36:34Speaker 1: whore cunt? And everybody else is getting like, yeah, girl,
- 36:39Speaker 1: stand up for women. Like, we're women.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Hello.
- 36:43Speaker 2: You literally pulled the wrong card from the deck. You
- 36:45Speaker 2: ended up on the wrong algorithm. And now people are
- 36:47Speaker 2: just I guess it's just what's so shocking is how
- 36:50Speaker 2: many people. And I was just talking to our we
- 36:52Speaker 2: have a co-host Fisher who does one of the radio
- 36:53Speaker 2: stations here. And I was like, I just want to
- 36:56Speaker 2: see the kind of person and not just I'm not
- 36:59Speaker 2: talking about their profile picture. but like that sits there
- 37:02Speaker 2: and just goes off on someone in the comments.
- 37:04Speaker 1: There was a UFC fighter that commented on one of mine.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Like a guy would like, my friends follow this guy.
- 37:09Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 37:10Speaker 1: He has like a million followers and he said, you
- 37:12Speaker 1: look like your for sale whore.
- 37:15Speaker 3: What?
- 37:15Speaker 1: Hang on, let me actually get the direct quote. I'll
- 37:17Speaker 1: tell you who it is.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Yeah, please do because it's public info.
- 37:20Speaker 1: This is not, yeah, you can go on, you can
- 37:22Speaker 1: see this.
- 37:22Speaker 3: They did this to themselves. That's what I'm saying. Like
- 37:24Speaker 3: who is sitting there?
- 37:25Speaker 1: All I'm saying, I'm not telling you to go harass
- 37:26Speaker 1: this guy. I'm not telling you to like go yell
- 37:28Speaker 1: at him. I'm just telling you what this guy said.
- 37:31Speaker 1: At Thug Nasty underscore UFC verified.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Verified? Thug Nasty?
- 37:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Who calls themselves Thug Nasty?
- 37:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you look like you are for sale. Put some
- 37:41Speaker 1: clothes on. So he didn't say whore, to his credit.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Okay, yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 1: But I mean, he's like the only one who didn't.
- 37:47Speaker 3: That's insane. I know.
- 37:48Speaker 2: But it's like, who, are you sitting at your dinner table,
- 37:51Speaker 2: like having a glass of water, enjoying dinner, and you're like,
- 37:54Speaker 2: all right, I got a second.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Let me go ahead and just rip this person apart
- 37:57Speaker 3: in the comments. That's crazy to me.
- 37:59Speaker 1: It's not even, they're not even coming up with interesting insults.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I'm like, y'all like, they're just like angry. They're literally
- 38:03Speaker 2: just like throwing anger out. And I think there's a
- 38:06Speaker 2: big problem with that with men.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yeah. They just haven't gotten laid in a while. Cause
- 38:08Speaker 1: I mean, think about any time, like if a man posted,
- 38:11Speaker 1: if we just reverse the roles and they did something,
- 38:13Speaker 1: I don't even know what the equivalent would be, but
- 38:16Speaker 1: if they were saying something about a female comedian, the
- 38:19Speaker 1: women would be in the comments giving like dissertations as
- 38:22Speaker 1: to why his logic was wrong or whatever we wouldn't
- 38:24Speaker 1: be like a short short bitch you look like a
- 38:29Speaker 1: you look like quasimodo or something i don't know they
- 38:31Speaker 1: wouldn't just be throwing out these low blows and i
- 38:32Speaker 1: think that's the whole point is his fan base clearly
- 38:35Speaker 1: is very low iq because they think him saying women
- 38:37Speaker 1: are whores is a joke and i'm like that's not
- 38:40Speaker 1: a joke Women aren't offended. We're actually just bored. We're
- 38:43Speaker 1: just bored by being called whores on national television.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yeah, if anything, like you said, just be more creative.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Like a comedian.
- 38:51Speaker 1: There's a million ways you could have said that. Where
- 38:53Speaker 1: he could have, what would have been such a great setup,
- 38:55Speaker 1: not that I want to give him great ideas, is
- 38:57Speaker 1: he could have done like this whole setup to where
- 38:59Speaker 1: he was describing something that sounds like a strip club,
- 39:01Speaker 1: kind of like how I did in my joke on
- 39:04Speaker 1: my Instagram. and then he goes and then i looked
- 39:06Speaker 1: around and i realized it was a planet fitness yeah
- 39:08Speaker 1: that would have been so funny and calling out that
- 39:11Speaker 1: women do wear small outfits without being without saying hey
- 39:15Speaker 1: you're a whore.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Yeah like that was yeah the more i watched the
- 39:18Speaker 2: monologue i was like that really is it's really just
- 39:21Speaker 2: it's just not thought through you know yeah i i
- 39:24Speaker 2: noticed anybody else notice you go to the gym and
- 39:26Speaker 2: women are just dressed like that's that's it.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Like have you ever noticed every time you walk into
- 39:31Speaker 1: a male comedy show the men are just dressed like
- 39:33Speaker 1: fucking incels like i mean that's that's what i sound
- 39:36Speaker 1: and the men are going oh it's not funny yeah
- 39:37Speaker 1: that's exactly what you sound like to us exactly exactly
- 39:40Speaker 1: what you sound.
- 39:40Speaker 2: There's no thought to it but it is wild like
- 39:42Speaker 2: the comments are wild that so many people just so
- 39:45Speaker 2: many men could just be like hmm All right, I'm
- 39:47Speaker 2: going to go ahead and just say goodbye to my
- 39:49Speaker 2: wife and kids for the day.
- 39:50Speaker 1: That's the crazy thing is you look at their profile
- 39:53Speaker 1: picture and it's like them and their wife. And I'm like,
- 39:55Speaker 1: there's a woman willingly, maybe, I don't know, maybe she's not,
- 39:58Speaker 1: willingly having sex with this man. Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 3: That's crazy. Crazy.
- 40:02Speaker 2: But that's also like just in general with social media,
- 40:04Speaker 2: it's just so weird. People will just like say the
- 40:07Speaker 2: most heinous things in your comments and then they have
- 40:09Speaker 2: like a nice little quote in their, you know, in
- 40:11Speaker 2: their bio.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Okay, so I started commenting because I would check their
- 40:14Speaker 1: bios because obviously I want to see who this person is.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:16Speaker 1: And there were a bunch of people that said, like,
- 40:18Speaker 1: Christ is king. And so I would comment and be like,
- 40:20Speaker 1: that's an interesting bio you got there. Or, I mean,
- 40:23Speaker 1: essentially just want to call out the hypocrisy in whatever
- 40:26Speaker 1: they're doing. Like, okay, how are you going to have
- 40:29Speaker 1: Psalm 24 or 25 or whatever in your bio and
- 40:31Speaker 1: then be like, all right, cunt, whore, bitch. Because that's
- 40:35Speaker 1: literally what they sound like. It's just like them going, yeah, whore, whore, whore, whore.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I'm like, that's so funny. But first of all. You
- 40:41Speaker 1: guys think I'm having sex?
- 40:43Speaker 3: Thanks, guys. Thank you, guys.
- 40:44Speaker 1: You think a lot of people want to have sex
- 40:45Speaker 1: with me? Thank you. It's so nice.
- 40:46Speaker 3: You think I look that good? Thank you so much.
- 40:48Speaker 1: You think a lot of men want to have sex
- 40:49Speaker 1: with me?
- 40:50Speaker 3: That's so nice.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Not that it's a compliment, but, you know.
- 40:52Speaker 2: But it's just the pure attention of it all as well.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Because I have seen a lot more women speak up
- 40:57Speaker 2: about it. And that's what's kind of funny because our
- 40:58Speaker 2: co-hosts right next door at The Bone who have, like,
- 41:01Speaker 2: I don't know, a joke's a joke. I would have
- 41:04Speaker 2: loved to see, like, I don't know, you join the
- 41:07Speaker 2: show for a little bit and just talk about it.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Like, that would be compelling.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I don't know if... it's because they don't want me
- 41:12Speaker 1: on there because they think it's protecting the brand or
- 41:14Speaker 1: they're protecting my brand or if they just know.
- 41:17Speaker 3: That they're going to lose the argument if I go
- 41:19Speaker 3: on there.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Because you're more thoughtful on.
- 41:22Speaker 1: What you're going to say. Here's the thing is I
- 41:24Speaker 1: would get on there and I would debate them very
- 41:25Speaker 1: civilly and then I would go, okay, explain the joke
- 41:28Speaker 1: to me. Like, why is this funny? Like, why is
- 41:30Speaker 1: him saying women look like whores at the gym? Explain
- 41:33Speaker 1: why that's funny. Because I can explain to you why
- 41:35Speaker 1: my joke is funny. The one that I did just
- 41:37Speaker 1: purely to prove a point that I came up with
- 41:39Speaker 1: something funnier than comedian professional shane gillis who's getting paid
- 41:42Speaker 1: a lot of money i can explain that joke for
- 41:45Speaker 1: you yes but you can't explain why the one he
- 41:48Speaker 1: said is.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Funny because you can't it would have been cool to
- 41:50Speaker 2: see i know it's not going to happen because there's
- 41:52Speaker 2: very protective but yeah it would have.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Been cool to see maybe maybe it's you know would
- 41:56Speaker 3: have been.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Something that just will we no they're fine it might
- 42:00Speaker 1: not actually be them it's just might be no it's
- 42:03Speaker 1: not them like they they wouldn't care they would have
- 42:05Speaker 1: me on in a second i think it's management.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah probably which again It just that's going back to
- 42:10Speaker 2: the it'd be fun to do a bit of political ads,
- 42:12Speaker 2: like pulling segments from them and being like, this is
- 42:15Speaker 2: who you listen to.
- 42:18Speaker 1: No, it would be funnier if they did it to us.
- 42:20Speaker 3: That's true.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Because it's because it would take us five seconds to
- 42:23Speaker 1: find something, quote unquote, cancel, not cancel, but like something
- 42:26Speaker 1: controversial from them. Meanwhile, if they did like an open mouth, Sally,
- 42:29Speaker 1: that's funny. That's actually really funny.
- 42:31Speaker 3: That's really funny. We're just handing them our ideas. I
- 42:34Speaker 3: go ahead and run with this one.
- 42:35Speaker 1: They're not going to do anything.
- 42:36Speaker 3: I know they won't, but it was a good idea.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Anyway, I'm going to go jump over to a sales meeting.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Is there anything else? I'm going to go meet up
- 42:43Speaker 2: with Richard down the hall.
- 42:45Speaker 1: So fun.
- 42:45Speaker 3: We're getting ready for 2027. So nobody wants.
- 42:48Speaker 1: To sell me, but whatever.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Okay, I know. I'm apparently a big fat whore over here.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Nobody wants to whore me out.
- 42:55Speaker 3: It'd be a great time for you to sell some
- 42:57Speaker 3: gym wear.
- 42:58Speaker 1: I know.
- 42:58Speaker 2: If there's a local person here in Tampa Bay that's
- 43:01Speaker 2: actually selling any gym clothing items or a gym membership,
- 43:05Speaker 2: that would be awesome. Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Anytime. If you're getting on the YouTube, put it in
- 43:08Speaker 3: the comments.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I haven't gone over to the YouTube much, but it
- 43:10Speaker 2: is cool to see the videos getting a good amount
- 43:11Speaker 2: of traction.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Are there any comments on the Spotify you want to
- 43:14Speaker 1: call out? Some nice ones?
- 43:16Speaker 3: Let's take a look. Don't tell me either way.
- 43:17Speaker 1: No.
- 43:18Speaker 3: I will say all the.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Comments on Spotify have always been nice. So thank you
- 43:22Speaker 2: for that.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Any comments on this? No, not on the recent one yet.
- 43:28Speaker 2: And now everyone's just back to the idea. We should
- 43:33Speaker 2: go pitch that today to our boss coming to Atlanta.
- 43:36Speaker 3: The Atlanta show. February of 2027.
- 43:38Speaker 2: We should do February 2027. It looks pretty open on
- 43:41Speaker 2: our calendars. So if that's a good time in Atlanta,
- 43:44Speaker 2: we're going to eventually, what we'll have to do is
- 43:46Speaker 2: we'll have to just get like a real RSVP of like,
- 43:50Speaker 2: would you go? So we could get some numbers to
- 43:51Speaker 2: prove to our management over here that it's worthy of
- 43:54Speaker 2: sending us there.
- 43:55Speaker 1: I bet you we could get 100 people.
- 43:56Speaker 3: You think 100?
- 43:57Speaker 1: I think, because I mean, my podcast, Breakup Breakdown, would
- 44:01Speaker 1: sell like 50 tickets.
- 44:02Speaker 3: So 100.
- 44:03Speaker 2: If we could get 100 people, then we could make
- 44:05Speaker 2: a trip to Atlanta and make it worth it. So
- 44:07Speaker 2: anytime you hear us talking about this, put it in
- 44:09Speaker 2: the comments. We'll start kind of just putting numbers together
- 44:12Speaker 2: to show our bosses up here.
- 44:13Speaker 3: All right, we'll be back tomorrow.
