- 7:17Speaker 9: just kidding. This is this is too long, kid, I
- 7:19Speaker 9: can't read this whole thing.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Why not?
- 7:21Speaker 4: It's too long?
- 7:21Speaker 1: We're just riveting content, am right, no riveting good all right.
- 7:27Speaker 9: I told her I was gonna apologize to you, but
- 7:28Speaker 9: when she gave it to me and I said, just kidding.
- 7:30Speaker 9: And then I said you should dump him. He's toxic.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Ha ha, that's why you didn't want to read it.
- 7:35Speaker 4: I thought that was funny. Anyway, the next time you
- 7:37Speaker 4: want I can't read out loud? Why not?

- 8:13Speaker 11: Whoa Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest tack team of all time,
- 8:23Speaker 11: Man and.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Spot Man. That was my bad. I forgot to tell
- 9:08Speaker 1: Billy to bring you around. Billy's just right there. I
- 9:14Speaker 1: was supposed to tell you to bring them around, my bad.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Crap boy, Hey you guys improvise.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Thank you for that. Your the intro to the show.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, boys, what's up.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Thanks for joining us, Hey, thanks for having us.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I'm glad we didn't come around the way.
- 9:30Speaker 12: I'm afraid Jeff would have seen that ladder and maybe
- 9:33Speaker 12: tried to jump to these tables.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Oh right, yeah, he's got a very bad Geek.
- 9:40Speaker 9: I said this to you guys probably I want to
- 9:42Speaker 9: say publicly thank you. They had a travel day from
- 9:44Speaker 9: hell yesterday to be here. If I was them, I
- 9:46Speaker 9: would have canceled. But they're true pros, true goats. Give
- 9:49Speaker 9: it up for the hardy boys. They came here for
- 9:51Speaker 9: you guys. Man, they might not make it home tonight.
- 9:56Speaker 9: These guys are fucking inspirations, legends, roll models. I love
- 10:00Speaker 9: you guys, Thank you very much.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you.
- 10:02Speaker 12: And it's also I think it is so cool, Matt
- 10:05Speaker 12: that you ended up being here. I know you were
- 10:07Speaker 12: in common situation. You actually are back at the great game.
- 10:10Speaker 4: That's happy to be right.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Now, you know, son again Mahon a broken man already
- 10:18Speaker 1: love Meek Mahon.
- 10:20Speaker 12: But but man, it's so cool that you were able
- 10:22Speaker 12: to get down here kind of do it on your
- 10:24Speaker 12: own and hang out and we're doing the show man.
- 10:26Speaker 1: It was important, I think to all of us so
- 10:28Speaker 1: I'm glad that we made our book and brother, we
- 10:29Speaker 1: love you Orlando, all right, it makes it happen.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I gotta ask about it because we just
- 10:35Speaker 4: heard it.
- 10:36Speaker 10: And I don't know if I've told you guys this,
- 10:37Speaker 10: but sometimes like if me and Eddie are feeling like
- 10:40Speaker 10: sluggish at TV, we're like, oh, the hardy is about
- 10:42Speaker 10: to make their entrance, and we sneak up and we
- 10:44Speaker 10: want to just hear it because that that song and
- 10:46Speaker 10: obviously you guys got a big pop. It's just fucking
- 10:49Speaker 10: you know, it's an adrenaline rush. Did you think when
- 10:52Speaker 10: you first heard that song that it would become such
- 10:53Speaker 10: an identifiable thing with you guys? And just did you
- 10:56Speaker 10: think it was something that was awesome or did it
- 10:58Speaker 10: grow on you in time?
- 11:00Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 11:00Speaker 3: I had no idea back then. I just remember hearing
- 11:02Speaker 3: the other our first instrumental track that we had, I
- 11:05Speaker 3: forget the name of it, but before loaded, and I
- 11:08Speaker 3: liked it a lot better than that first one. Do
- 11:10Speaker 3: you remember the one? It was like, yes, so yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 3: I didentify with the drums right away.
- 11:16Speaker 1: We did.
- 11:17Speaker 12: We didn't have any type creative team putting a lot
- 11:19Speaker 12: of thought process into our music.
- 11:21Speaker 6: I can tell you that.
- 11:22Speaker 12: But you know, once they put us with Michael Hayes,
- 11:23Speaker 12: we did have that one generic music and it was
- 11:25Speaker 12: like eh, and then they gave us this music which
- 11:28Speaker 12: is Loaded, and we're like, ah, that's better, but like
- 11:31Speaker 12: student drums crazy, We're like, we were like, you know,
- 11:34Speaker 12: give us a cool rocking pearl jam song.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Oh we're still yeah. Whatever we were, we were we
- 11:40Speaker 1: were dreaming and thinking real big little.
- 11:43Speaker 12: Did we know that Loaded would become like one of
- 11:45Speaker 12: the most iconic wrestling entrance music's ever and uh, the.
- 11:50Speaker 1: One thing that was thank you.
- 11:53Speaker 12: The one thing that was very beneficial for us is
- 11:55Speaker 12: like it's uncopyrightable music and it's licensed music, so like
- 11:59Speaker 12: it could try with different companies, which rarely ever happens
- 12:02Speaker 12: in pro wrestling.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Right, like lives on right.
- 12:04Speaker 10: I think because of that, you know, especially now, you know,
- 12:06Speaker 10: using it in TNA, using w B pretty eppy.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Yeah, use it the Major rustbur podcast live.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And the Orlando Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Do we have everywhere about it?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Do we have to pay for that? Or no, We're good,
- 12:17Speaker 1: you get away with it. Okay, thank you, thank you, guys.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I have heard it.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Commercials and stuff though throughout the time too.
- 12:22Speaker 3: I heard it on ghost Hunters and advertising ghost Hunters
- 12:25Speaker 3: one time, I was like, well, that's our music. One
- 12:26Speaker 3: thing I love about music though. Man, the first time
- 12:28Speaker 3: I heard no more words when it was pitched for
- 12:31Speaker 3: me to have it as my singles, uh, career elevated,
- 12:35Speaker 3: and I just didn't like.
- 12:37Speaker 4: It at all.
- 12:38Speaker 9: It was weird.
- 12:38Speaker 3: That's what I love about music, though. The first time
- 12:40Speaker 3: I heard it, I was like, Oh, this ain't gonna work.
- 12:41Speaker 3: I was so used to the dun but Dona. But
- 12:44Speaker 3: then I grew on me so much and now I
- 12:46Speaker 3: can imagine coming out to any other music. But that's
- 12:49Speaker 3: what I love about music.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Man.
- 12:51Speaker 3: It might not hit it first, but over time it's like, whoa,
- 12:53Speaker 3: that was perfect and totally written for me.
- 12:55Speaker 12: I ironically, they our music started getting over and people
- 13:00Speaker 12: were really into our music earlier on when we were
- 13:02Speaker 12: doing the Hardy Voice things, especially like you know, after
- 13:04Speaker 12: we did the TC matches and everything else, and we're
- 13:06Speaker 12: really established. But then in two thousand and three ish,
- 13:11Speaker 12: two thousand and two ish, maybe they actually had that
- 13:14Speaker 12: liver for the moment. The song I ended up using
- 13:16Speaker 12: as Matt Hardy version.
- 13:17Speaker 1: One slam a Tornado Yes Live for.
- 13:20Speaker 12: The Moment, you know, by Monster Magnet, and they actually said, hey,
- 13:23Speaker 12: this is where we got it, like a very.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Song for you guys, that's personalized for you guys.
- 13:29Speaker 12: It's called Live for the Moments for the Hardy Boys,
- 13:30Speaker 12: and they played it to us and we're like, I
- 13:34Speaker 12: think we'd rather keep doing the Hardy's music we currently have,
- 13:36Speaker 12: which is loaded. And then like once we split, I
- 13:39Speaker 12: ended up getting it. And at first I think when
- 13:41Speaker 12: we heard it, we weren't that crazy about it. But
- 13:43Speaker 12: once I can't imagine Matt Hardy the sense they have
- 13:46Speaker 12: Mattitude version one without that music now because it is
- 13:48Speaker 12: so identifiable with like that character in that persona, and
- 13:52Speaker 12: it's I tried to bring that back whenever Jeff was
- 13:54Speaker 12: out and hurt and injured, but Vince wouldn't do it.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I think if Triple H would have been there, I
- 13:59Speaker 1: think the man with three eighth.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Would have let it happened.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we meet kamal Hah. When we first started
- 14:06Speaker 1: on the road No.
- 14:07Speaker 10: Seven, you were singles and you come out that it
- 14:09Speaker 10: was one of the bigger pops of the night. I
- 14:10Speaker 10: always remember that, you know that it became very identifiable.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It did, Yeah, totally identifiable for me.
- 14:16Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't know if the TNA run would be
- 14:18Speaker 9: as exciting if it didn't have this identifiable music. You
- 14:21Speaker 9: know what I'm saying, Because it's it's just part of history.
- 14:23Speaker 9: It's part of wrestling history, no, no, no.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Doubt about it.
- 14:26Speaker 12: I mean that that music adds so much value to us,
- 14:30Speaker 12: you know, coming out because it also connects there's so
- 14:33Speaker 12: many people like I mean, we're both ancient, you know
- 14:36Speaker 12: what I mean. I'm over halfway to one hundred. I'm
- 14:39Speaker 12: just trying to stay off the box, you know what.
- 14:41Speaker 12: IM trying to stay alive. But the fact that we
- 14:45Speaker 12: have been doing this and we meet people all the
- 14:47Speaker 12: times that are like in their mid thirties to late thirties,
- 14:49Speaker 12: and now they have kids and their kids have become
- 14:52Speaker 12: fans of man Jeff Hardy, and it's like, oh my god,
- 14:55Speaker 12: this is so amazing. You know, I was a fan
- 14:57Speaker 12: of you as I was growing up as a child,
- 14:59Speaker 12: and now my kids have of you, and it's like
- 15:00Speaker 12: a very special bond we have.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And the thing that is kind of in common with
- 15:04Speaker 1: that is we have.
- 15:04Speaker 12: The same music, you know what I mean, thirty almost
- 15:07Speaker 12: thirty years later, which is why connected it is connective tissue.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I've had this idea for a long time and I've
- 15:13Speaker 3: been sending it out to the universe. I'm just gonna
- 15:15Speaker 3: send it out again right now and share with y'all.
- 15:18Speaker 3: But when I do have a singles match, like for example,
- 15:21Speaker 3: last week I worked Mustafa Ali and like for another
- 15:26Speaker 3: situation like that, when I have a singles match, I
- 15:27Speaker 3: got this track and it started with so it's like
- 15:30Speaker 3: don't don't dn't dn't dn't, don't du'n du'n dn't dun't
- 15:32Speaker 3: don't don't don't dunt dun't dun't cool, and it slows
- 15:35Speaker 3: down and then goes directly into my first ever TNA theme,
- 15:39Speaker 3: my original song called Modest. So I'm hoping that happens
- 15:42Speaker 3: sometime this year.
- 15:43Speaker 4: That'd be cool. Yeah, that's sweet. Yeah, I'm gonna talk
- 15:47Speaker 4: to some people and make that happen. Thank you, brother.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he's half used in the office.
- 15:52Speaker 9: Guy like Brian was saying, the pop you get at
- 15:56Speaker 9: these DNA shows once that music, it's unreal. And then
- 15:59Speaker 9: what a lot of these don't realize that you do
- 16:01Speaker 9: these meet and greets after the show and you're at
- 16:03Speaker 9: the arena the way after midnight sign it for like
- 16:06Speaker 9: the harding seem like they're more over than ever.
- 16:09Speaker 12: It's it's crazy. I mean we are, we are blessed
- 16:11Speaker 12: in that capacity. I mean we did that whenever. Initially
- 16:15Speaker 12: when we were coming here before the whole storm was
- 16:17Speaker 12: set up, we were leaving like at noon, and I
- 16:18Speaker 12: was like, oh, we'll have a late night that night.
- 16:20Speaker 12: We'll be able to sleep in, maybe get in a workout,
- 16:23Speaker 12: and then go to the airport, travel across get to Orlando.
- 16:26Speaker 12: But we changed the flight after the snowstorm. And you know,
- 16:29Speaker 12: Brian is kudos of this guy. This guy changed his flight.
- 16:33Speaker 12: He traveled with us. He stuck with the whole wall.
- 16:35Speaker 12: He probably wanted to make sure we weren't going to
- 16:37Speaker 12: like take off and go home. A little bit of
- 16:41Speaker 12: that for sure, but no, he traveled.
- 16:43Speaker 1: With the whole wall. But I said, oh, cool, what
- 16:44Speaker 1: time is the light? And he's like seven am?
- 16:47Speaker 12: And we did the post show meet and greet and
- 16:49Speaker 12: it's like by the time we're getting home, it's three
- 16:51Speaker 12: you know what I mean. We we notoriously it's often
- 16:55Speaker 12: in notorious that we end up saying to like three
- 16:57Speaker 12: in the morning, like if we have a show, that
- 16:59Speaker 12: goes to like eleven and we'll do a four hour
- 17:01Speaker 12: maybe five hour post show meet and greet and it's crazy.
- 17:04Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 17:05Speaker 3: After our match with the Dudleys at Slimmiversary, I think
- 17:08Speaker 3: it was right at four am and stuff. I think
- 17:10Speaker 3: that set the record when yeah, last human Beings in
- 17:14Speaker 3: line was like this eighty something year old woman that
- 17:16Speaker 3: waited that whole time, and it just made my day.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I mean after seeing that, and the picture was so
- 17:22Speaker 3: cool when she was so sweet and just so glad
- 17:24Speaker 3: to be there. So and I think the reason we
- 17:25Speaker 3: might be more over now because in the big scheme
- 17:29Speaker 3: of human existence, you know, our career is almost over
- 17:32Speaker 3: and people want to hold on for as long as
- 17:34Speaker 3: they can, and so do we. So we're gonna do
- 17:36Speaker 3: this thing until we can, you know, plain and simple.
- 17:41Speaker 12: I do think one thing to add a little context
- 17:43Speaker 12: to what he's saying. We started that post show meet
- 17:46Speaker 12: and greet and it was in Louiell, Massachusetts, outside of Boston.
- 17:50Speaker 12: We started at five till eleven. Yeah, it was five
- 17:55Speaker 12: to eleven and we finished at four twenty four that morning.
- 17:58Speaker 12: So we did that after and we were moving. We
- 18:02Speaker 12: were like trying to go through the line as fast
- 18:03Speaker 12: as possible. I do think one of the reasons we
- 18:06Speaker 12: have so many people that do do you want to
- 18:07Speaker 12: see us, and they are interesting. I think we've built
- 18:09Speaker 12: a lot of equity with our fans over the years.
- 18:11Speaker 1: You guys have been on television for thirty years.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:14Speaker 12: But also, as Jeff said too, and he says this
- 18:18Speaker 12: to me, says, oh, Matt's being really patient. We really
- 18:21Speaker 12: we know there are a lot of people that have
- 18:22Speaker 12: a lot of their youth and their childhood and a
- 18:25Speaker 12: lot of nostallship tied into us from moments that they've
- 18:28Speaker 12: seen from you know, nineteen nine one or.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Two thousand and two thousand and one.
- 18:32Speaker 12: The fact that we want to sit there and let
- 18:34Speaker 12: them tell us about that experience, and we'll share back
- 18:37Speaker 12: with them about how we felt as fans, and I think.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It humanizes us to some degree.
- 18:42Speaker 12: And I think there's a part of us that did
- 18:45Speaker 12: love hearing those stories because we're those same wrestling fans,
- 18:48Speaker 12: you know, the same people that are coming to us
- 18:50Speaker 12: pouring all this love and information to us. It's the
- 18:52Speaker 12: same thing we would do for our guys at that time.
- 18:54Speaker 12: And now the fact that we're able to do it,
- 18:56Speaker 12: and we're able to have these cool experiences with people
- 18:58Speaker 12: and hear their stories. I know that that's what they want,
- 19:01Speaker 12: you know they I love the fact that everyone always says,
- 19:04Speaker 12: like whenever they meet to say go like you know,
- 19:05Speaker 12: they say, don't meet your heroes, but meet the hardys,
- 19:07Speaker 12: which is cool. That's like the greatest compliment we could
- 19:09Speaker 12: be given. And that's something that's really important to us
- 19:12Speaker 12: because at the end of the day, we both know
- 19:14Speaker 12: that without our diehardies, well out people who have support us,
- 19:17Speaker 12: there would be no us. So thank you all, everyone
- 19:20Speaker 12: who's here tonight.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Thank you all.
- 19:24Speaker 9: This episode of the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast has been
- 19:27Speaker 9: brought to you by Ringsy Collectibles, the number one online
- 19:31Speaker 9: retailer of Wweaction teams.
- 19:34Speaker 13: Go to Wrestlingfigures dot Com and make a purchase, and
- 19:37Speaker 13: when you do, use discount code Major at checkout to
- 19:40Speaker 13: save ten percent.
- 19:45Speaker 6: I will say this, speaking of of your lines and
- 19:49Speaker 6: how long it takes, there is possibly one reason and
- 19:53Speaker 6: this is not a complaint, and nobody in this room
- 19:56Speaker 6: is mad about this, but your signatures are works of.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Art, right, so I mean up, especially Jeff.
- 20:03Speaker 10: Went. Jeff Went, you you altered that at some point though,
- 20:06Speaker 10: that wasn't always your autograph.
- 20:08Speaker 3: It has its evolved over time, and I always like, uh,
- 20:12Speaker 3: I don't remember when it was, but that little profile
- 20:15Speaker 3: that I put, I just remember back in Fevrue, North Carolina,
- 20:18Speaker 3: whatever year it was, nineteen ninety, maybe we saw Sting
- 20:22Speaker 3: and Flying Brian Pillman, uh leave the building and get
- 20:26Speaker 3: in their car. And we didn't get Stings they were
- 20:28Speaker 3: in such a rush, but we got Flying Brian's and
- 20:31Speaker 3: it was just a circle with a little bit of scrill.
- 20:33Speaker 3: And I was like, oh my god, this is I was.
- 20:34Speaker 3: I was kind of upsells. This is not an autograph.
- 20:37Speaker 3: That's nothing.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I think, I like, what is that?
- 20:40Speaker 3: And I think that's kind of had and what's in
- 20:43Speaker 3: like an inspired mind over the years.
- 20:45Speaker 1: And I think he also took our pen and threw
- 20:47Speaker 1: it down, right.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I think he did. He's very rude man.
- 20:50Speaker 1: He was ready.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Wowf he was ready to get to the next town.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Brother.
- 20:56Speaker 9: I'm looking at someone got their chair signed by Jeff
- 20:58Speaker 9: right now? That is legit or the chair signed by
- 21:01Speaker 9: Jeff Hardy. Can you can you hold that up so
- 21:03Speaker 9: the people could say, hold it up, it looks beautiful.
- 21:06Speaker 9: Oh yeah, turn it to the people baby. Hell yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 9: Like it's just it's beautiful and something. To go back
- 21:16Speaker 9: to what we were saying about, how you know the
- 21:18Speaker 9: fans have been supporting you for so many years. I
- 21:19Speaker 9: think it's because, you know, you know, Brian and I
- 21:22Speaker 9: we grew up watching you guys. But you were like
- 21:23Speaker 9: the first guys who were like showing that they were
- 21:26Speaker 9: fans too, and like did.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Backyard wrestling and made it. You know what I'm saying.
- 21:29Speaker 4: It was like, oh shit, they can do it.
- 21:32Speaker 9: Fuck, maybe I can do it, you know, because I
- 21:33Speaker 9: was backyard wrestling at the time seeing you guys, Oh shit,
- 21:36Speaker 9: they did it, you know, and like it was so like,
- 21:39Speaker 9: uh relatable to me, you know, because you were fans
- 21:42Speaker 9: who made it, you know.
- 21:43Speaker 1: And and I and I love that fact.
- 21:45Speaker 12: I loved how when we were there that was like taboo.
- 21:49Speaker 12: You weren't supposed to be like that in any capacity.
- 21:51Speaker 12: And and I love how the culture of pro wrestling
- 21:54Speaker 12: has changed and it has moved on from that, you
- 21:56Speaker 12: know what I mean. It's okay to be someone like, Hey,
- 21:58Speaker 12: I was a huge fan and I wrestled in my
- 22:00Speaker 12: backyard and I just want to emmiate what I saw
- 22:02Speaker 12: on TV because I loved it, or you know, even
- 22:04Speaker 12: the whole thing with toys and figures, just like the
- 22:07Speaker 12: growth you guys have done for like action figures and
- 22:09Speaker 12: people like making it cool.
- 22:11Speaker 1: It's a cool hobby, it's a cool thing to collect
- 22:13Speaker 1: and do whatever else.
- 22:14Speaker 12: I love that so many of those taboos have left
- 22:16Speaker 12: because the culture was so different.
- 22:18Speaker 1: In the nineties, you know what I mean.
- 22:19Speaker 9: It was.
- 22:20Speaker 1: It was insane, Like when.
- 22:22Speaker 9: We first started in ww IF I went to Target
- 22:24Speaker 9: and got a hardcore Holly figure and brought it into
- 22:27Speaker 9: the locker room.
- 22:27Speaker 4: The autograph he shit in my bag. But take me out.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Now it's cool.
- 22:32Speaker 9: Everyone's cool about it, you know. And I don't blame
- 22:34Speaker 9: those guys because they didn't grow up with that stuff.
- 22:37Speaker 9: You know, they didn't grow up, you know, watching Saturday
- 22:39Speaker 9: Morning wrestling and then playing with the wrestling buddies and
- 22:41Speaker 9: playing with the figures, you know, like we all kind
- 22:43Speaker 9: of did.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you know exactly, man, And it's the culture of
- 22:48Speaker 1: the wrestling business.
- 22:49Speaker 12: We saw the worst of the worst, and I know
- 22:51Speaker 12: you guys got in where we're still lingering around a
- 22:54Speaker 12: little bit, but they still couldn't go as far as
- 22:56Speaker 12: they used to go. Like it was in Sandy in
- 22:59Speaker 12: the beginning. That's one of the things I am most
- 23:00Speaker 12: happy has changed in for us.
- 23:03Speaker 4: For sure, we have some slides, but yeah, yeah you do.
- 23:07Speaker 1: You you you were a big Hardy Boys fan. Yes
- 23:11Speaker 1: in high school.
- 23:12Speaker 10: Okay, so correct me if I'm wrong. But this is
- 23:15Speaker 10: your first WWF catalog T shirt.
- 23:18Speaker 1: And I made my mom order it.
- 23:20Speaker 4: His monitors all over it.
- 23:22Speaker 1: It has the tribal on the sleeve. And my freshman
- 23:25Speaker 1: year of high school, I wore this once a week
- 23:31Speaker 1: without without getting made fun of. Very proud.
- 23:33Speaker 4: But am I right?
- 23:34Speaker 12: That's the first to ever Hardy Boy. Yes, that is
- 23:36Speaker 12: the official first Hardy Boys shirt we had. That was
- 23:39Speaker 12: after we were with Michael Hayes. And it's so funny
- 23:41Speaker 12: because Michael Hays says, hey, why and I.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Own the shirt. He wanted three extremes Mary, Michael Hayeses
- 23:51Speaker 1: and I was telling you guys to get ready for this.
- 23:53Speaker 10: I was trying to find something vintage and cool like
- 23:55Speaker 10: I couldn't find that to get it back, and then
- 23:57Speaker 10: I wound up getting this, uh will not die Matt
- 24:00Speaker 10: Hardy throwback. But yeah, the things I was looking into,
- 24:04Speaker 10: like I want. I originally wanted the basketball jersey, and
- 24:07Speaker 10: I could it's like four hundred plus dollars if you
- 24:10Speaker 10: can find it.
- 24:11Speaker 4: So I was like, that's not happening, but uh yeah,
- 24:13Speaker 4: and then.
- 24:14Speaker 10: Like anything really like vintage, you know, early hardy stuff
- 24:17Speaker 10: was ridiculous.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I couldn't believe that the pricing on it.
- 24:20Speaker 12: So I was telling him in like the motocross jersey
- 24:22Speaker 12: that we had back in the day, and we were
- 24:24Speaker 12: I remember we were the first people to kind of
- 24:26Speaker 12: do that like aldered stuff, because back then they just
- 24:29Speaker 12: kind of.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Did T shirts. It was basically a T shirt thing.
- 24:31Speaker 1: And I remember we talked about I would wear all
- 24:33Speaker 1: the time, and I think Jeff Wood as well.
- 24:35Speaker 12: We're both big Carolina Tarhill fans, you know, like I
- 24:38Speaker 12: was in that college system. I went to UNC Charlotte
- 24:40Speaker 12: for a couple of years, got my associates, and then
- 24:42Speaker 12: I dropped out to Chase wrestling, and I guess it
- 24:45Speaker 12: half ass worked, but I would.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Wear I would wear my UNC Tar Hill jersey all
- 24:50Speaker 1: the time.
- 24:50Speaker 12: And Jeff Wood too, And I remember the March guys
- 24:53Speaker 12: said those are really cool that you wear, and he said,
- 24:54Speaker 12: what have we made like merch like this?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Do you remember when we had those conversations.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, And I remember, like I'm still motorc also,
- 25:00Speaker 3: supercross is my favorite sport. But I remember saying, yeah,
- 25:03Speaker 3: what if could we do a motocross jersey?
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yes? And yeah that was definitely your very cool. So
- 25:08Speaker 1: you guys had a lot of insight into the merch.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Even early on.
- 25:13Speaker 12: They would ask you back then, like what especially if
- 25:16Speaker 12: you became an act that would sell stuff a lot,
- 25:19Speaker 12: they would come to you like, hey, do you have
- 25:21Speaker 12: more ideas?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Do you have more ideas?
- 25:22Speaker 12: They were definitely more. It just wasn't so big and
- 25:25Speaker 12: corporate back then, you know what I mean. It's such
- 25:27Speaker 12: a different beast now. It's so crazy how much it's
- 25:30Speaker 12: grown and expanded. But they would, they would come, and
- 25:33Speaker 12: it was cool because those jerseys that we would were
- 25:35Speaker 12: all the time that I think we thought were cool
- 25:37Speaker 12: and like, for some reason people thought we were cool
- 25:39Speaker 12: in nineteen ninety nine and two thousand and two thousand
- 25:41Speaker 12: and one, and it was like, hey, those jerseys aren't
- 25:43Speaker 12: really cool, and we're like, could you make like a
- 25:45Speaker 12: Hearty's jersey like this?
- 25:46Speaker 1: And they ended up making them and they did great.
- 25:48Speaker 12: And the motocross jersey, I know they did that it
- 25:50Speaker 12: did really well, and most of our merchandise did. But
- 25:53Speaker 12: it's cool because I feel like we were some of
- 25:55Speaker 12: the early trailblazers that like released stuff that weren't just
- 25:59Speaker 12: tea shirts in the beginning, you know what I mean,
- 26:01Speaker 12: We like switched things up and tried different things, thinking
- 26:03Speaker 12: outside the box.
- 26:05Speaker 9: You guys had so much merch But it feels like
- 26:08Speaker 9: it took forever for them to make the Jeff armbands
- 26:11Speaker 9: like those.
- 26:11Speaker 4: It took like a decade or so.
- 26:14Speaker 9: Wait, I'm like, why are they just like people at
- 26:16Speaker 9: Homer Maker, these white kids.
- 26:17Speaker 3: W Yeah, that was weird. I think it was around
- 26:20Speaker 3: back back in eight oh nine when I was bigger
- 26:22Speaker 3: than Obama.
- 26:23Speaker 1: That's how it was.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Uh, that's how long it took to make those.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, they finally came out with the they found a
- 26:29Speaker 3: place in Mexico or something to make them.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I have to follow this up with the story finished.
- 26:33Speaker 3: And but yeah, and you would see those everywhere, the
- 26:36Speaker 3: neon green or the purple uh armsleeves. We had. It
- 26:39Speaker 3: took them a while.
- 26:40Speaker 1: You're right, what what where did the arm sleeps come from? Like?
- 26:44Speaker 3: How is Marilyn Manson I've got this alter ego or
- 26:46Speaker 3: alter Nero and his name's Willow. And yeah, Willow was
- 26:52Speaker 3: in the my second run in TNA. Uh he emerged
- 26:55Speaker 3: in TNA. I'm hoping that happens again in the next
- 26:57Speaker 3: few years somewhere sometimes. But uh yeah. And when Marilyn
- 27:02Speaker 3: Madsen came out with Antichrist Superstar, I just noticed we
- 27:05Speaker 3: were these old, ripped up pantyhose and that's kind of
- 27:07Speaker 3: where I got the idea. So I bought me some
- 27:09Speaker 3: trout women's trousers socks, and uh and I cut them
- 27:12Speaker 3: up and like pulled him up my arm. I Oh
- 27:14Speaker 3: my god, this is it.
- 27:15Speaker 1: This is my thing.
- 27:16Speaker 3: And uh yeah, I'm so glad I figured that out.
- 27:18Speaker 1: You got to hit it now that you tease that,
- 27:20Speaker 1: you got to hit a little Willow man, you gotta
- 27:21Speaker 1: hit your line.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we Love, we Hate, We Die forever late
- 27:29Speaker 2: in Willow Sway.
- 27:38Speaker 12: Oh yeah, I want to see if you any of
- 27:41Speaker 12: you guys can relate to this too. Someone asked me
- 27:43Speaker 12: when we were doing an independent show. It was Jason
- 27:47Speaker 12: Aren't Joy Abs of the Mean Stream Posse, who was
- 27:49Speaker 12: one of our guys who came up with us that
- 27:51Speaker 12: we kind of helped train and kind of forged to
- 27:53Speaker 12: some agree, but he was wrestling match with Jeff and
- 27:56Speaker 12: Jeff's Willow, and he pulled me to the side. This
- 27:58Speaker 12: is when we're doing OCCA, right, Hey, I gotta ask you, Matt, like,
- 28:02Speaker 12: when you wrestle Jeff and he's Willow, is he does
- 28:04Speaker 12: he feel like different?
- 28:05Speaker 1: You know?
- 28:06Speaker 12: He's just like kind of like a different like it's
- 28:07Speaker 12: a different person. It's not really Jeff. It's like not
- 28:09Speaker 12: really lay back. And that's one thing I can say
- 28:11Speaker 12: about how much Jeff loves the whole Willow character. Like
- 28:14Speaker 12: whenever he puts on that mask and his face is
- 28:16Speaker 12: painted and he has everything, and when he's in ful gimmick,
- 28:19Speaker 12: it's like he's a different person, you know what I mean.
- 28:21Speaker 12: It feels like his his his whole temperament, the way
- 28:26Speaker 12: he acts, the way he moves is like totally a
- 28:28Speaker 12: different person, which I think is so impressive because he
- 28:31Speaker 12: gets so into it.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Do you feel like that, Jeff?
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, totally. I'll share this little secret with y'all as well.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Thinking about Willow, I got a new me and my
- 28:39Speaker 3: oldest dawn a Ruby designed a new Willow face plate
- 28:42Speaker 3: like a god a couple of years ago, and I
- 28:43Speaker 3: finally had one made and it was just like I
- 28:47Speaker 3: talked about the music earlier, like the first time I
- 28:49Speaker 3: put it on is I don't know. This just isn't
- 28:51Speaker 3: in it. It's not gonna work. It don't look right,
- 28:53Speaker 3: it don't feel right. But I just put it on
- 28:55Speaker 3: a few weeks ago and actually had my hair out
- 28:57Speaker 3: of the mask, and I really liked it. I was like, whoa,
- 28:59Speaker 3: this is my This might be twenty twenty six Willow
- 29:03Speaker 3: Jeff Hardy, so it looks pretty wicked. And again I'm
- 29:05Speaker 3: hoping that he's able to re emerge in TNA sometime
- 29:08Speaker 3: this year.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Jeff.
- 29:10Speaker 10: You know, they always wanted to ask him there was
- 29:12Speaker 10: a period where you wrestled in a baseball cap, and
- 29:19Speaker 10: just right off the top of my head, like from
- 29:20Speaker 10: working on at WW as Ow said, how did Vincigmann
- 29:22Speaker 10: allow that even once, much less several times.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Yeah, they never even questioned. They just kind of let
- 29:28Speaker 3: me do what I want. And I mean I figured
- 29:30Speaker 3: nobody else was trying to get through a whole wrestling
- 29:32Speaker 3: match with a baseball cap?
- 29:34Speaker 1: Was that your goal?
- 29:35Speaker 3: Never did until recently, and I didn't do as much
- 29:38Speaker 3: as I used to do back in my in my twenties.
- 29:40Speaker 3: But I wore a TNA hat the last time we
- 29:42Speaker 3: were at the House of Glory, and I got through
- 29:44Speaker 3: the whole match with it, man, And so I can
- 29:46Speaker 3: say that I did, and I need to bring that back.
- 29:49Speaker 3: And there's never been a figure made.
- 29:54Speaker 1: There was one. W Do you guys remember too. Jeff
- 29:56Speaker 1: would like have piggy tails.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Yep.
- 29:59Speaker 1: He would have his hair.
- 30:01Speaker 12: Like piggy tails, right, or the hair out and he
- 30:04Speaker 12: cut holes in the hat and then they're sticking out
- 30:06Speaker 12: of the hat.
- 30:06Speaker 1: And remember that jet.
- 30:07Speaker 3: That was the way I thought it might I might
- 30:09Speaker 3: be able to stay on throughout the whole match. I
- 30:10Speaker 3: thought it might hold it.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yeah, because his hair was out and he had piggy tails.
- 30:13Speaker 1: And I remember that. And he came up.
- 30:14Speaker 12: We're in Gorilla one time and they're sitting there and
- 30:17Speaker 12: Vince looked over and he said, and he said, why
- 30:24Speaker 12: does he do that?
- 30:25Speaker 1: I don't. Whatever he does, he's cool, he says, damn it,
- 30:30Speaker 1: he is cool.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Back when I was working brock Lesser a lot, I
- 30:36Speaker 3: was at this point. I was going, man, I just
- 30:38Speaker 3: need to do something new and something fresh. And I
- 30:40Speaker 3: was trying all these different things, but it was all
- 30:42Speaker 3: like I was in the lift for the moment's shirt,
- 30:44Speaker 3: but it was all like a blue outfit and bluefish
- 30:46Speaker 3: net blue pants and the pigtails and all that, and
- 30:49Speaker 3: it looked like it looked wild man. But yeah, again,
- 30:52Speaker 3: I was just trying different things back then, but that one,
- 30:54Speaker 3: definitely it did not work, and I'm glad it didn't.
- 30:59Speaker 6: You got you said something interesting. Actually, So as a dad,
- 31:02Speaker 6: over the years, I've been able to share this kind
- 31:07Speaker 6: of work with my daughter, like you know, hey, what tie.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Do you think I should wear?
- 31:10Speaker 6: And stuff like that, And it's actually very special to
- 31:12Speaker 6: me and I feel very proud to do that, like
- 31:15Speaker 6: on TV where something that sort of she thought of.
- 31:17Speaker 6: And you guys, you know, talk about being parents all
- 31:20Speaker 6: the time. Is that something you also share with your kids?
- 31:22Speaker 6: And you mentioned designing something with your daughter for sure.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Mett Ruby. And she is miss fashion man, my
- 31:28Speaker 3: oldest daughter. She's all about it man, and makes herself
- 31:32Speaker 3: up and just great with makeup and everything fashion. And
- 31:35Speaker 3: I went to one of her volleyball games and I
- 31:38Speaker 3: had like some I had more blue jeans in a
- 31:40Speaker 3: long time, but I got this pair of blue denim
- 31:42Speaker 3: like Air Jordan's and the rip Blue Jeans and then
- 31:46Speaker 3: Atlanta Braves Jersey and I went to her game and
- 31:49Speaker 3: this made my day. The next day, the next evening,
- 31:52Speaker 3: when Ruby came home from school, she said, all her
- 31:54Speaker 3: friends thought my outfit at the volleyball game was fire.
- 32:00Speaker 3: I felt like a cool father. That's okay, cool. I'm
- 32:03Speaker 3: gonna keep but yeah, she's amazing and we enjoy talking
- 32:06Speaker 3: about We're always going to each other. Does this look
- 32:08Speaker 3: right with this? Does this matchup?
- 32:10Speaker 9: So?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the same deal.
- 32:12Speaker 1: It's Mark.
- 32:13Speaker 12: It's it's funny because Brian can speak on this a
- 32:16Speaker 12: little bit too. So like my kids are wired a
- 32:19Speaker 12: little differently, Like if I'm doing something on TV and
- 32:22Speaker 12: if they know, if they've kind of been keeping up,
- 32:24Speaker 12: they might want to watch it. They may not just
- 32:25Speaker 12: kind of like, eh, I don't know. My dad, he's
- 32:27Speaker 12: just done this forever like it is what it is.
- 32:29Speaker 12: But whenever they know we're doing like a cinematic match
- 32:32Speaker 12: at the house. Now the kids are like like, hey,
- 32:34Speaker 12: I've got some ideas.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Agree.
- 32:37Speaker 12: And now my oldest son is the most athletic that
- 32:41Speaker 12: is Maxwell. He's on TV when he was a baby
- 32:43Speaker 12: is King Maxwell. Uh, and he's going to be really good.
- 32:45Speaker 12: He's like still going to work on his personality. My
- 32:48Speaker 12: youngest son, who like tries to fight his way and
- 32:51Speaker 12: like earn the respect of his older brothers.
- 32:53Speaker 1: He's going to be the toughest. He's going to like
- 32:54Speaker 1: destroy everyone.
- 32:56Speaker 12: He is the guy that's going to be the biggest worker,
- 32:59Speaker 12: the best worker, best athlete, and the whole bunch. They
- 33:01Speaker 12: really want to wrestle and wood be my middle son.
- 33:03Speaker 12: He's like Dad, he said, you know, I think this
- 33:06Speaker 12: is really cool what you do. He said, but like,
- 33:08Speaker 12: I don't know how I want to get beat up
- 33:09Speaker 12: like that all the time. He said, can you make
- 33:12Speaker 12: money in wrestling by just like insulting people? Like can
- 33:16Speaker 12: you like like just talk and like and like and
- 33:19Speaker 12: throw insults at people and like make money? I said, actually, son,
- 33:23Speaker 12: you can be a bad guy. You can do that
- 33:24Speaker 12: in your entire career. You could manage.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Somebody said, that's perfect. That's all I want to do.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I just want to talk trash.
- 33:30Speaker 12: And he's the one like when you were there, we
- 33:34Speaker 12: you worked with Maxwell and the thing we had he
- 33:36Speaker 12: did the thing with with Eddie where Eddie turned into
- 33:38Speaker 12: a werewoof And he's got a lot of personality he's
- 33:40Speaker 12: super charismatic. But the next time the nimbus came out
- 33:43Speaker 12: there and he did a thing with Ryan Nimmouth where
- 33:45Speaker 12: he was sitting there and it's like Ryan Nimmouth was
- 33:47Speaker 12: in the midst of his dream because I was out
- 33:49Speaker 12: there drowning him in our pool and it's a special
- 33:51Speaker 12: pool which makes you go to a dream land. And
- 33:54Speaker 12: in this dream with Woofe, woof Be is the psychiatrist
- 33:58Speaker 12: and he's giving him advice and he said there blah
- 34:00Speaker 12: blah blah blah blah and woo he had like he
- 34:02Speaker 12: was great in it.
- 34:03Speaker 1: They like really freestyled. Everything they did was just kind of.
- 34:06Speaker 12: Like just going and we just turned the camera on
- 34:08Speaker 12: and let them do stuff. And Ron was great with
- 34:11Speaker 12: the kids. And then uh, Woopy did the whole thing.
- 34:14Speaker 12: It's funny. He watched it back and he was great.
- 34:16Speaker 12: Everybody talked about it. Everybody loved it. And I said,
- 34:19Speaker 12: what do you think, woofy, was it good? He said yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 12: he said, what they cut so much more stuff out.
- 34:24Speaker 1: That was the first thing.
- 34:25Speaker 4: He said.
- 34:27Speaker 12: That's great, Like you were over like four minutes straight
- 34:30Speaker 12: in a segment, dude, But too funny.
- 34:33Speaker 1: They're all politickers though, My.
- 34:35Speaker 10: Favorite part of our shoot was when Moose was forgetting
- 34:37Speaker 10: his lines and Barty was feeding him to him.
- 34:44Speaker 9: Old, yeah, that was good, very very funny. You guys
- 34:48Speaker 9: with those cinematic matches like change the game. Like now
- 34:50Speaker 9: there's it's normal they have like a cinematic match in wrestling.
- 34:53Speaker 9: When you guys did it, people like, what the hell
- 34:55Speaker 9: is this?
- 34:56Speaker 1: You know? Yeah, it was one thing that was cool.
- 34:59Speaker 12: One thing that I really did about pro wrestling is
- 35:01Speaker 12: how there's not just one right way or wrong way
- 35:04Speaker 12: to tell a story, you know what I mean. Like, obviously,
- 35:07Speaker 12: we grew up watching a lot of Classic Wrestling NWA,
- 35:09Speaker 12: so we got all that, and Jeff and I think
- 35:11Speaker 12: we've you know, had tons of matches that have just
- 35:14Speaker 12: been good quality matches, and we tell a story in
- 35:16Speaker 12: the context of a wrestling match, and hopefully we have
- 35:18Speaker 12: some emotional investment in the good guys and the bad
- 35:21Speaker 12: guys that are that are fighting off against one another.
- 35:23Speaker 12: But then we said, hey, like if we have a
- 35:25Speaker 12: tag team ladder match against Edge and Christian, we can
- 35:27Speaker 12: really do some special stuff, like we can do something different.
- 35:30Speaker 1: And we eventually talked Vincent, let us do that in
- 35:32Speaker 1: like a little best of series.
- 35:34Speaker 12: And that's changed the game for us that tag team
- 35:37Speaker 12: Ladder match, No Mercy, Like our reaction was different. People
- 35:40Speaker 12: looked at as a legitimate stars from that point on,
- 35:43Speaker 12: and I think that kind of opened up Vince's mind
- 35:45Speaker 12: because you're like, well.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Damn it, can you do something with the Dudley's like that?
- 35:50Speaker 12: And I remember saying, dude, he they used to break
- 35:53Speaker 12: tables in ECW. I said, like, what if we had
- 35:55Speaker 12: a tables match with him? And I said, like, I
- 35:58Speaker 12: kind of. I came up with the rules and I
- 35:59Speaker 12: told my well, hey, hey, passes on events. I said, like,
- 36:02Speaker 12: you know, both people, both members of the team have
- 36:05Speaker 12: to go through, you know, and offensively you know, from
- 36:07Speaker 12: their opponents to win the match or whatever.
- 36:09Speaker 1: And we got to go nuts and we had like
- 36:11Speaker 1: three and a half minutes cut.
- 36:12Speaker 12: Right before we went out three and a half four minutes,
- 36:14Speaker 12: and like, we flew through that first one, but it
- 36:16Speaker 12: ended up being a classic because it was just like
- 36:18Speaker 12: an absolute train wreck of the scene with all the
- 36:21Speaker 12: carnage and breaking that was going on, you know, and
- 36:24Speaker 12: that led to the whole TLC stuff and I felt like,
- 36:26Speaker 12: you know, us having those TLC matches were also like
- 36:29Speaker 12: telling matches in a different capacity.
- 36:31Speaker 1: And then I felt like as I got older and
- 36:34Speaker 1: my body was beat up, I couldn't do as much
- 36:36Speaker 1: as I used to.
- 36:36Speaker 12: And I was like, let me think about something I do.
- 36:38Speaker 12: I want to try and revert and do a character
- 36:40Speaker 12: this maybe like Papa Shango. Maybe the crowd kind of
- 36:44Speaker 12: buys in and it's supernatural or something special is going
- 36:47Speaker 12: on with it, early Undertaker, and that's when I did
- 36:49Speaker 12: Broken Matt. And then one of the first things I
- 36:51Speaker 12: thought about was like, what if I just had matches
- 36:53Speaker 12: on my property like we.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Used to do as kids, you know what I mean?
- 36:55Speaker 1: And then we film it like a movie.
- 36:57Speaker 12: It's like a cinematic match, and lo and behold we
- 36:59Speaker 12: were and that was the right place at the right time,
- 37:01Speaker 12: and we were able to do it.
- 37:02Speaker 1: That's where the final deletion was born.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Yeah, we used to rent. We used to rent big
- 37:09Speaker 3: old VHS cameras with the big old VHS tapes and
- 37:12Speaker 3: we'd runt them for the weekend. We'd make a movie,
- 37:14Speaker 3: a short film. And but yes, speaking of the cinematic
- 37:18Speaker 3: matches and now knowing how badass like the shows like
- 37:21Speaker 3: Breaking Bad was and Walking Dead, but being on AMC. Man,
- 37:26Speaker 3: the first cinematic match on AMC is gonna be.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Huge, man. Yeah's true.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm hoping in praying that I'm a part of that.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Hey, so you you mentioned the best of series? Was
- 37:36Speaker 1: that that's the Terry Invitational? Was that what you were
- 37:39Speaker 1: talking about? Yeah?
- 37:40Speaker 6: Okay, so that was the Tip Yes tournament. So nineteen
- 37:44Speaker 6: ninety nine, and I got a little video to show you.
- 37:47Speaker 6: Nineteen ninety nine we had a little connection, Matt.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Okay, all yeah, all right. I don't know if you
- 37:51Speaker 1: felt it or not. Yeah, I don't know.
- 37:53Speaker 6: Sixteen year old Mark Sterling. All right, hold on a second. Here,
- 37:58Speaker 6: we got a little video.
- 37:59Speaker 1: This is I think right after the sources tell me acquainted. Okay,
- 38:08Speaker 1: right there, that's me the hardy boys shine. I knew,
- 38:11Speaker 1: I knew that was said. I'm holding up the arms.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Jane's left the question that All right, now, hold on.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Here's the connection.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Now Matt is looking right at me right there, he
- 38:23Speaker 1: shakes his head.
- 38:26Speaker 6: I'm jumping you're looking at Wow.
- 38:31Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta tell you, you guys go way
- 38:35Speaker 1: back that that is that.
- 38:37Speaker 12: I wasn't sure, but that thought has haunted me for years, said,
- 38:40Speaker 12: I think that was damn smart monster.
- 38:44Speaker 1: So I saw him when he was a prodigy, right.
- 38:47Speaker 6: I made that entire sign with markers all the letters,
- 38:51Speaker 6: and I forced the people in my row who.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I did not know. I thought those were your friends. No,
- 38:57Speaker 1: I would just went with Steve Negrun So he was
- 39:01Speaker 1: the a. But I was really bad at the kid
- 39:04Speaker 1: holding the bead because to get his face in so
- 39:07Speaker 1: the beats too well himself Hardy always.
- 39:17Speaker 13: Major Restic Figure Podcast. As a new tag team, push
- 39:21Speaker 13: Garage Beer.
- 39:22Speaker 9: Scratch that figureage and scratch that beerrige with Garage Beer.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Every tag team needs a name, and.
- 39:28Speaker 13: Here it is Major Garage Beer. Garage Beer is light,

- 39:44Speaker 4: I'm Brian Myers, the most professional drink.
- 39:47Speaker 1: I'm smart, Mark Sterling and I love beer flavored beer.
- 39:50Speaker 9: I'm always ready Matt Cardona and the Major Garage is
- 39:55Speaker 9: always helping.
- 40:01Speaker 6: Last time we partnered with Garage Beer, things got a
- 40:04Speaker 6: little out of hand, but this time we're doing things
- 40:11Speaker 6: more professional, classic, more class.
- 40:19Speaker 4: These guys guys, what can't we enjoy bum more.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Polished, good idea.
- 40:26Speaker 6: It's a crisp, refreshing partnership.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yeah, Hilton integrity on teamwork and focus.
- 40:49Speaker 9: So this is the major Wrestling Figure podcast we talked
- 40:52Speaker 9: about some.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Let's let's go to uh, your debut figure.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Okay, right there on screen.
- 41:00Speaker 9: You guys remember this, this double slam two back in
- 41:04Speaker 9: the I'll say iconic tight red shirts.
- 41:07Speaker 4: You know ye, it only comes with one tag title.
- 41:12Speaker 4: That's that's cost cutting.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Why would they do that?
- 41:15Speaker 9: What?
- 41:16Speaker 1: What?
- 41:16Speaker 4: What does it make you feel that when you guys
- 41:18Speaker 4: see that nowadays, I.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Can tell you this.
- 41:22Speaker 12: Whenever we finally got a figure, I remember we're like
- 41:25Speaker 12: when we got with Michael Hayes and we started getting.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Used and where it's my damn figure.
- 41:30Speaker 12: Yeah, oh we heard it and he said y'all gonna
- 41:34Speaker 12: do a three pack, right, and I'll never forget.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Like I was like, man, we just want to figure.
- 41:41Speaker 1: We want to figure. That was like our deal, Like
- 41:43Speaker 1: we thought it was cool.
- 41:44Speaker 12: You know, there's those moments and you guys know this
- 41:47Speaker 12: when you know you've made it, like when you get
- 41:48Speaker 12: a T shirt, when you're on a video game, when
- 41:51Speaker 12: you get a figure, I think for for for me,
- 41:54Speaker 12: maybe for Jeff two, Like I felt like having an
- 41:56Speaker 12: official w w F action figure means you made it,
- 42:00Speaker 12: you know what I mean, So I'll never yet. This
- 42:03Speaker 12: was like after WrestleMania two thousand and we like said, man,
- 42:07Speaker 12: I don't even know if they're going to make figures
- 42:08Speaker 12: out of us. I don't know if they're going to
- 42:10Speaker 12: make them because it took so long. It felt like
- 42:12Speaker 12: but that was just the process then, right, because it
- 42:14Speaker 12: just took such a long right, right, we didn't know that.
- 42:17Speaker 12: But like once I saw this figure and Jeff and
- 42:20Speaker 12: I were here tied on the shoulder and it's done,
- 42:24Speaker 12: it has WWF on it, officially made by them, I'm like, dude,
- 42:28Speaker 12: we have made it, Like they have this figure, you know,
- 42:31Speaker 12: like we have made it, and we're like, you know,
- 42:34Speaker 12: if this is the only one we did, then then
- 42:35Speaker 12: we had it and we can say that we've done it.
- 42:37Speaker 1: And it still kind of gives me chills even looking
- 42:40Speaker 1: at it.
- 42:40Speaker 12: It was like such a special moment to really reinforce
- 42:43Speaker 12: that we had made it, we had achieved our dreams,
- 42:45Speaker 12: and we had no idea. They started rolling out like
- 42:48Speaker 12: crazy after this, you know what I mean, and they
- 42:50Speaker 12: kept coming, and it's cool. I've had a couple of
- 42:52Speaker 12: people that would really try and find our figures so
- 42:54Speaker 12: we could collect them and everything else when I was back,
- 42:56Speaker 12: and I still have a pretty good collection, nowhere near.
- 42:58Speaker 1: As good as Josh. Oh yeah, oh yeah, he's got
- 43:03Speaker 1: it all there, he is. He's got some great stuff
- 43:05Speaker 1: to sign today too, He really really did.
- 43:08Speaker 12: But yeah, man, this this for us was a true
- 43:11Speaker 12: moment and uh really a true sign that we had
- 43:14Speaker 12: succeeded in achieving our dream.
- 43:16Speaker 3: And that was before they had they were forced to
- 43:18Speaker 3: get the f out. I thought that was one of
- 43:21Speaker 3: the coolest shirts when they yeah, get the f out.
- 43:24Speaker 3: But every time I paint my face now, I think
- 43:26Speaker 3: about an action figure and go, okay, this might be
- 43:29Speaker 3: an Action figure, you know, immortalized as an Action figure.
- 43:32Speaker 3: So it's so cool to see all the different face
- 43:35Speaker 3: paints I've done over the years being immortalized on an
- 43:37Speaker 3: Action figure.
- 43:38Speaker 9: Yeah, you guys have had literally hundreds of figures. There's
- 43:41Speaker 9: no way we can talk about it. We did pick
- 43:43Speaker 9: out a couple, do you guys remember these? They were
- 43:45Speaker 9: called finishing moves and they could like and they were
- 43:49Speaker 9: packed separately so like they was doing the twist of.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Faith, they were doing the swanton. These were kind of
- 43:54Speaker 4: like ahead of their time.
- 43:55Speaker 1: They were.
- 43:56Speaker 12: They were real funky because people are like, why are
- 43:58Speaker 12: the action figures like standing up and looking appropriate?
- 44:02Speaker 3: You know, I still haven't figured out how that one
- 44:04Speaker 3: is a twist of fate at all.
- 44:07Speaker 4: Yeah, they tried.
- 44:09Speaker 12: It was cool though, how they tried to like just
- 44:11Speaker 12: reposition They tried to like position the figures like unique,
- 44:14Speaker 12: like a wrestling move is being executed or whatever.
- 44:16Speaker 1: It was a cool figure and I give them, I
- 44:18Speaker 1: give them an a for effort of trying something different.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I loved because like the hair is all like blowing
- 44:22Speaker 4: in the wind. Shah, It's great. Yeah. And then speaking
- 44:26Speaker 4: of hair, let's talk about this TNA true Pac. What's
- 44:30Speaker 4: with the braid?
- 44:31Speaker 13: Look?
- 44:31Speaker 1: Yeah, the braid. I was ready, you know, I was.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I was reinventing. Man. It just uh.
- 44:36Speaker 12: I think at this specific time in my career, I
- 44:39Speaker 12: wasn't in the headspace I need to be in to
- 44:41Speaker 12: go out there and put on my best performance.
- 44:44Speaker 4: But but my my, I had like an.
- 44:45Speaker 12: Idea about this whole cold bloody character, especially because it
- 44:48Speaker 12: was going to be a hell and Jeff was truly
- 44:51Speaker 12: a hill trying to be a hell for one of
- 44:52Speaker 12: the first times in his career legitimately a hill. Uh
- 44:55Speaker 12: So I had some ideas.
- 44:57Speaker 1: It didn't pan out, but who knows, maybe we'll do
- 44:59Speaker 1: it again one day down the road. I'll get the
- 45:01Speaker 1: braids again.
- 45:01Speaker 10: That's your only TNA two pac to date, and that
- 45:04Speaker 10: thing's worth a lot of money, by the way.
- 45:06Speaker 1: That is true. Yeah, the Anti CHRISTI in Cold Blood.
- 45:10Speaker 1: After all these years now, they're having hundreds and hundred
- 45:12Speaker 1: of figures.
- 45:12Speaker 10: What are some that stand out to you guys that
- 45:14Speaker 10: are your favorite or you know when you meet the
- 45:16Speaker 10: people like today that you look forward to signing and seeing.
- 45:20Speaker 12: One of my favorite is the one that we called
- 45:22Speaker 12: the Brood figure that comes through you know, I'm talking
- 45:24Speaker 12: about where we're wearing the actual tie did shirts that
- 45:28Speaker 12: we had when we were with the Gang Girl. That
- 45:29Speaker 12: was like such a special time for us, I feel like,
- 45:32Speaker 12: you know, because.
- 45:35Speaker 1: That fit both of us.
- 45:36Speaker 12: I think we were down with that too, because he's like, well,
- 45:38Speaker 12: you know, he's a vampire, so just kind of be goth,
- 45:40Speaker 12: just kind of be more God.
- 45:41Speaker 1: That was the little bit of direction that we got.
- 45:44Speaker 12: For events and we're like, okay, So that means like
- 45:46Speaker 12: we can be serious and you know, kind of like
- 45:48Speaker 12: almost cold, emotionless whatever.
- 45:50Speaker 1: And that's where we first started coming out.
- 45:53Speaker 12: And I don't know if you remember Chap at the
- 45:54Speaker 12: beginning game girl said well, what are you guys gonna
- 45:56Speaker 12: do whenever I like take my sip of blood, you know,
- 46:00Speaker 12: do the blood?
- 46:01Speaker 1: And you remember what we started doing there.
- 46:02Speaker 12: We said, okay, I got some good ideas what we
- 46:04Speaker 12: can do since we kind of we're kind of like vambera, yeah,
- 46:06Speaker 12: we're doing this.
- 46:08Speaker 1: And uh, at first Vince said, why do you what
- 46:10Speaker 1: does it look like you have guns to your head?
- 46:13Speaker 12: And I go, well, because we're we're goth and we're
- 46:16Speaker 12: emo and like we're suicidal, we're willing to take any
- 46:20Speaker 12: un of risk.
- 46:20Speaker 1: That's what we're doing. He said, I don't think we
- 46:22Speaker 1: can put guns to your head. You're gonna have to
- 46:25Speaker 1: move them down a little bit. So you know, then
- 46:29Speaker 1: you start seeing the hardy boys posing like this all
- 46:31Speaker 1: the time. So that's where that's where that came. I
- 46:35Speaker 1: the evolution.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Yeah, one of my favorite action figures is the one.
- 46:38Speaker 3: I guess it was from a TLC match, but it's
- 46:40Speaker 3: the one that my shirt is ripped. Oh yeah, match,
- 46:45Speaker 3: I love that figure, but man, overall, I can't lie.
- 46:48Speaker 3: I think my favorite figure of all time is the
- 46:50Speaker 3: I guess the last one that AW put out of me.
- 46:53Speaker 3: That the one that's in the.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Black Light.
- 46:56Speaker 3: And it's the uh you know, I had the pleasure
- 46:59Speaker 3: of working with Darby Allen two times, but uh, that
- 47:02Speaker 3: was from the first time I wrestled Derby Allen. That's
- 47:04Speaker 3: what I was wearing in that match. But it's such
- 47:06Speaker 3: a such a beautiful figure. I just wish it could
- 47:09Speaker 3: have came out like when I was in the AW dimension.
- 47:12Speaker 9: Right.
- 47:14Speaker 1: The also a naturally figure. I would look forward to seeing.
- 47:17Speaker 12: It's the only Brother Nero figure that is in circulation, really,
- 47:20Speaker 12: and that's the Ring of Honor figure that AW put
- 47:23Speaker 12: out when Jeff and I we were the yeah yeah
- 47:26Speaker 12: Tech team champs and that that that's a great figure.
- 47:29Speaker 1: It's one of the best broken mats.
- 47:31Speaker 11: Uh.
- 47:31Speaker 12: It's the only Brother Nero and we do look forward
- 47:34Speaker 12: to sounding that. Maybe that may be the absolute best
- 47:36Speaker 12: thing we got out of AW.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:37Speaker 3: I think they said they only made three thousand, right.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Well that's what they said.
- 47:41Speaker 12: I've signed seven thousand, don't I don't buy those limited numbers.
- 47:46Speaker 9: And what about when you guys returned to WW in
- 47:49Speaker 9: Orlando wrestle Mainia.
- 47:51Speaker 4: Yeah, then they made that too bad? Oh yeah, man,
- 47:55Speaker 4: what a what a pop? That's the only stupidest pop
- 47:58Speaker 4: I think I'll ever hear in my career.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that that action figure is very cool.
- 48:03Speaker 12: To return the WrestleMania thirty three return action figure made
- 48:07Speaker 12: into two figures immortalized is super cool.
- 48:10Speaker 1: That's also one of our favorite figures. No doubt, that
- 48:13Speaker 1: was a that was a great moment. Is there anybody
- 48:15Speaker 1: here that happened to be there Russellmania thirty three?
- 48:18Speaker 7: Oh wow?
- 48:19Speaker 12: All these people, Okay, they contributed to the pops. It's
- 48:24Speaker 12: so cool because that was a moment that people saw
- 48:29Speaker 12: as legitimate surprise. And you know, we live in even
- 48:32Speaker 12: at that time, we lived in the you know era
- 48:35Speaker 12: of the Internet where information flies and everything gets out
- 48:38Speaker 12: and spoilers are leaked and everything else. But like, we
- 48:41Speaker 12: did our best to keep that as quiet as possible,
- 48:43Speaker 12: and there was only a handful of people that knew
- 48:45Speaker 12: and like, I know there were some people like I
- 48:46Speaker 12: think they're gonna show up, but like, we just had
- 48:48Speaker 12: a killer thirty minute match with the Bucks of Youth
- 48:51Speaker 12: the Young Bucks the night before, So it was real
- 48:54Speaker 12: cool when we came out and it felt like a
- 48:55Speaker 12: legitimate surprise and we hadn't been in that arena at all,
- 48:58Speaker 12: you know. We we showed the arena forty five minutes
- 49:02Speaker 12: before our match was going to happen.
- 49:04Speaker 1: You know, and none of the talent knew we were
- 49:06Speaker 1: going to be there. We showed up, we went and.
- 49:09Speaker 12: Got on a bus backstage, and it's funny, we were
- 49:11Speaker 12: in Orlando and it's in April is when that happened,
- 49:14Speaker 12: and I'll never forget this.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Said, hey, you go, you got to get some hoodies.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Go get some hoodies. And we're like okay, and we're
- 49:18Speaker 1: like they weren't that easy to.
- 49:20Speaker 12: Find in April Orlando because you don't necessarily need hoodies
- 49:23Speaker 12: here all the time.
- 49:24Speaker 1: All the hoodies we got were pink, so we had to.
- 49:26Speaker 1: If you ever see that.
- 49:27Speaker 12: Documentary piece, we're all wearing pink hoodies and we sneak
- 49:30Speaker 12: into the building. We do that, We go up there
- 49:32Speaker 12: and then it was crazy because like we walk in.
- 49:34Speaker 12: I know, my wife was there and she was like
- 49:36Speaker 12: she was seven months pregnant with a woofie and Maxwell.
- 49:40Speaker 12: She was baby wearing him on her back and she's
- 49:42Speaker 12: mad because we had to run up four.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Flights of stairs. Oh, it was so far right here,
- 49:45Speaker 1: really well.
- 49:47Speaker 12: And we had no idea how the arena looked because
- 49:49Speaker 12: we hadn't been there at all. You know, usually at TV,
- 49:51Speaker 12: you're there all day, you're kind of checking it out,
- 49:53Speaker 12: you know what it looks like. And just whenever we
- 49:55Speaker 12: came out to see this sea of humanity, you know,
- 49:59Speaker 12: out there doing something that we established the Broken universe
- 50:03Speaker 12: in Broken Matt and Brother Nero and the Delete Delete taunt, Uh,
- 50:07Speaker 12: there was you know, just there was forty fifty thousand
- 50:10Speaker 12: people doing that and it was crazy and it just
- 50:12Speaker 12: showed like wow, like wrestling fans do pay attention, and
- 50:15Speaker 12: they were just so excited. And the emotion I can
- 50:17Speaker 12: film in slow emotion is we're going down.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Like the emotion you can.
- 50:20Speaker 12: See on people's faces from us coming back to w
- 50:22Speaker 12: B was just so incredible. And Jeff and I say
- 50:25Speaker 12: this all the time. The further we get away from
- 50:27Speaker 12: that moment, I feel like it becomes more and more
- 50:29Speaker 12: of an important part of our career, Like might be
- 50:31Speaker 12: the top moment of our career.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I kind of feel it was. And just recently
- 50:35Speaker 3: I remembered one of the lies that developed over that
- 50:38Speaker 3: month because I got so tired of just lying. But
- 50:40Speaker 3: we've been saying, yeah, we signed with the Ring of
- 50:42Speaker 3: Honor for a few years, but I used to say, yeah,
- 50:44Speaker 3: we signed a Ring of Honor for a couple of years. Man,
- 50:45Speaker 3: I'm even going to start doing some concerts with a
- 50:48Speaker 3: Ring of Honor like throughout the year. And I just
- 50:50Speaker 3: I was so tired of lying, and that's exactly what
- 50:53Speaker 3: I said. I'm just glad it's over as far as
- 50:55Speaker 3: you know, pumping it up as we were not going
- 50:57Speaker 3: to be there. But yeah, that's one of the things. Yeah,
- 51:00Speaker 3: we're gon I'm gonna be a Ring of Honor and
- 51:01Speaker 3: do some actual concerts. Man, We're in for the long haul.
- 51:04Speaker 12: So we had to do all this media and even
- 51:06Speaker 12: that weekend we're doing Ring of Honor and a lot
- 51:08Speaker 12: of people forget. On Friday night, we main invented the
- 51:10Speaker 12: Wrestle Con Super Show and myself and Jeff Russell the
- 51:13Speaker 12: Luchavros Penton Phoenix, which would be a hell of a match,
- 51:16Speaker 12: you know, in this day and age. But it was
- 51:18Speaker 12: then we had a great match with those guys, and
- 51:20Speaker 12: then the next night we had the Young Bucks.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I remember we were doing media earlier in that day
- 51:23Speaker 1: and they were sitting back and talking to Jeff and
- 51:25Speaker 1: they said, so, Jeff, so now that you guys are
- 51:28Speaker 1: here at Ring of Honor, I mean, I don't know
- 51:30Speaker 1: how long.
- 51:30Speaker 12: This is gonna last for, but like, you know, are
- 51:32Speaker 12: you thinking about returning to the WV And Jeff's going like,
- 51:35Speaker 12: Jeff's going eh, and I'm just hade, I'm going just like, no, no, no, no,
- 51:39Speaker 12: We've signed contracts, so the Ring of Honor we're gonna
- 51:42Speaker 12: be here. And I remember once we minished the media,
- 51:44Speaker 12: Jeff said, man, I'm just so sick of lyon. Man,
- 51:47Speaker 12: I want to stop all this. Man, let's just come clean.
- 51:51Speaker 9: So the latest figures you guys are gonna have. Luckily,
- 51:54Speaker 9: you know, you signed with us for collect major We
- 51:57Speaker 9: made big rubber guys, major Bennies. But today we're going
- 52:00Speaker 9: to show everybody the major stars coming.
- 52:03Speaker 1: There is whoa.
- 52:08Speaker 4: Up the reveal, but there's still.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Does anybody know what we won when we were wearing
- 52:14Speaker 1: those outfits? Is anybody?
- 52:18Speaker 12: Yeah? The NXT whoever said that was right, Yeah, we
- 52:21Speaker 12: we were wearing all we'd weren't it a couple times before,
- 52:24Speaker 12: but that was the NXT title win, which was a
- 52:27Speaker 12: very cool moment for us. We were the first WB contractor,
- 52:30Speaker 12: We were the first TNA contracted talent to win a
- 52:33Speaker 12: WB title, which was pretty neat and uh. The fact
- 52:37Speaker 12: that we won the NXT w B Tag team titles
- 52:40Speaker 12: also allowed another fact for us.
- 52:43Speaker 1: It was really cool.
- 52:44Speaker 12: We're the only tag team to win w B titles
- 52:47Speaker 12: consecutively over four different decades because we were w B
- 52:51Speaker 12: Tag champs in the nineties, the two thousands, the twenty tens,
- 52:53Speaker 12: and now the twenty twenties.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Because of those NXT.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Tag titles, that's a big make sure you buy those.
- 53:01Speaker 10: I say, I petitioned hard for the white because I
- 53:03Speaker 10: thought it was unique, that'd be a lot of fun.
- 53:05Speaker 1: So for sure TTD knocked these out of the park.
- 53:08Speaker 1: They're beautiful. So two of the most incredible figures I've seen.
- 53:12Speaker 3: I just have a question as far as the creation
- 53:14Speaker 3: of these things, Like I normally I go to photo
- 53:17Speaker 3: and get pictures on my face painting designed, but it's like,
- 53:19Speaker 3: I don't think I ever took a picture of that.
- 53:21Speaker 3: How does that work these days?
- 53:23Speaker 10: We don't have time, but we have two maniacs in
- 53:25Speaker 10: the back here, Ryan who introduced you to our artist TTD,
- 53:30Speaker 10: and the guy next to him is uh D Freedom,
- 53:32Speaker 10: who's our residence psychopath who wills scour the internet for
- 53:36Speaker 10: every angle and image that he can find so we
- 53:39Speaker 10: can get great reference shots.
- 53:40Speaker 9: So yeah, so if you need any reference shots, D
- 53:43Speaker 9: freedoms for man, he'll get you from any match, any
- 53:45Speaker 9: angle he'll he'll he'll find photos of it.
- 53:48Speaker 4: Awesome. Well yeah, Major Stars Series three coming soon.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Pretty excited.
- 53:53Speaker 12: I was gonna say, besides, I mean we say this
- 53:55Speaker 12: all the time amongst one another, like to be in
- 53:57Speaker 12: this business, you have to be insane, you know what
- 53:59Speaker 12: I mean, I'd be crazy. But I think to even
- 54:01Speaker 12: be in a business it is adjacent to pro wrestling.
- 54:04Speaker 12: Like you said, all of your guys, the whole team,
- 54:06Speaker 12: they're they're insane too. Absolutely, Yeah, we're all crazy man.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's a beautiful thing.
- 54:12Speaker 4: Though.
- 54:14Speaker 6: Can I ask you, actually, Matt, since we're finished with
- 54:16Speaker 6: the figures here, could you explain to everybody your collection.
- 54:21Speaker 6: Brian has told the story many times, I just can't
- 54:24Speaker 6: picture it in my head. So, like you have most
- 54:26Speaker 6: of your figures displayed, yes, proudly like it's a whole
- 54:31Speaker 6: living basement or something like that.
- 54:33Speaker 1: It's uh, well downstairs. You have rules to this collection,
- 54:36Speaker 1: you know what is it?
- 54:38Speaker 4: Well?
- 54:38Speaker 12: I mean, basically, I've just tried to collect every figure
- 54:40Speaker 12: I had. I had one guy, a guy named Thomas
- 54:43Speaker 12: Simpson who's our investor back in Omega, and he's a
- 54:47Speaker 12: real Southern gentleman.
- 54:47Speaker 1: He goes, well, Matt, I got you some of your
- 54:50Speaker 1: new figures. I got him for you.
- 54:51Speaker 4: And Jeff.
- 54:52Speaker 12: You know, he's quite the character, quite the personality, but
- 54:55Speaker 12: he he gave me so many of the different figures.
- 54:57Speaker 12: And if I was ever out and about and I
- 54:59Speaker 12: was doing a run during our w B run anytime
- 55:02Speaker 12: and I had to stop at a Target or Walmart.
- 55:04Speaker 1: I would like go through the figure section just see
- 55:06Speaker 1: if anything was there.
- 55:07Speaker 12: But it is everything we had. It used to be
- 55:10Speaker 12: everything with myself and Jeff. I'll be honest. As time
- 55:13Speaker 12: is going on, a lot of Jeff stuff has come
- 55:14Speaker 12: up the wall because I was just gonna see singles
- 55:18Speaker 12: Jeff stuff, you know what I mean, just because it
- 55:19Speaker 12: overloaded all our tag stuffs there.
- 55:21Speaker 1: But we've got that, and it's it's downstairs.
- 55:26Speaker 12: I have a gym, and we have a pretty pretty
- 55:29Speaker 12: nice kind of full fledged arcade down there in the gym.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Uh, and it is in the arcade, like.
- 55:35Speaker 12: On the back wall, and it has just covered his
- 55:37Speaker 12: water wall from top to bottom, a little different shelf,
- 55:40Speaker 12: and we we keep figuring out the way to put
- 55:43Speaker 12: things in there and keep packing it up, and we
- 55:44Speaker 12: even extended a little bit where it goes around the corner.
- 55:47Speaker 4: Now.
- 55:47Speaker 1: So it's uh, I have over I have over two
- 55:52Speaker 1: hundred figures. I'm on there.
- 55:53Speaker 9: I know.
- 55:53Speaker 12: Wow, and uh, it's it's it's pretty cool. It's a
- 55:56Speaker 12: it's a cool deal, and it feels like it's a
- 55:58Speaker 12: nice it's a nice way to look at that and
- 56:02Speaker 12: reinforces like, hey, you've done pretty good for yourself, kiddo,
- 56:04Speaker 12: you know what I mean.
- 56:05Speaker 3: So you've got replicas, like you've ever had too of
- 56:08Speaker 3: your titles?
- 56:09Speaker 4: Right?
- 56:09Speaker 3: What's that you have replicas of?
- 56:11Speaker 1: Okay?
- 56:12Speaker 7: I do I have?
- 56:13Speaker 12: I have everyone now except the WB TAG titles that
- 56:17Speaker 12: we won in like two thousand and six, two thousand
- 56:20Speaker 12: and seven, and that's the only one I am.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I am yet to get.
- 56:23Speaker 9: I remember when we first debuted, you had like a
- 56:26Speaker 9: party at your house, like after SmackDown, and we went
- 56:28Speaker 9: and I saw like the figures of the time, like
- 56:30Speaker 9: this is the coolest thing ever. It was like such
- 56:32Speaker 9: like an inspiration, like I want figures of myself and
- 56:35Speaker 9: I want them displayed like this. And I remember you
- 56:36Speaker 9: had this giant I don't know if you still have it,
- 56:38Speaker 9: like a WF magazine cover, but it's huge.
- 56:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm like, this is fucking awesome at the time.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it was cool, man.
- 56:46Speaker 12: I know they were like that too, Like whenever we would,
- 56:48Speaker 12: you know, do covers of magazines, if they could hook
- 56:50Speaker 12: us up and send a bigger one, they would. And
- 56:52Speaker 12: it's like, I mean, yeah, what we do is so unpredictable, right,
- 56:57Speaker 12: It's this is this career is like so unpredictable.
- 57:01Speaker 1: I mean, any match could be your last match. You
- 57:03Speaker 1: never never know.
- 57:04Speaker 12: So it's like whenever you get an opportunity to get
- 57:07Speaker 12: cool stuff like that that you have, you got to
- 57:08Speaker 12: get it and try and grab it, you.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Know what I mean, because you never know when this
- 57:11Speaker 1: when this rod is gonna end.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I mean we keep meet greeting it and
- 57:19Speaker 4: deting to do Yeah you guys again, thank you so
- 57:23Speaker 4: much for coming you guys are fucking.
- 57:25Speaker 9: Legendary, you know, wrestlers, But I grew up idolizing you
- 57:28Speaker 9: guys like you guys are so fucking cool. I would
- 57:31Speaker 9: have canceled about with you guys maybe the fans.
- 57:34Speaker 3: Uh.
- 57:35Speaker 9: I love you guys as wrestlers, as friends. Thank you
- 57:38Speaker 9: so much for coming, and I really appreciate you guys
- 57:41Speaker 9: being it right.
- 57:41Speaker 1: And I say thank your time.
- 57:43Speaker 10: Even when Matt and I were just green, dumb idiots,
- 57:45Speaker 10: the two of you were so accommodating and cool and
- 57:48Speaker 10: always took us in and invited us out, and like
- 57:50Speaker 10: we've been friends a long time now, so we do
- 57:51Speaker 10: appreciate you guys coming through here today.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Thank you. We do appreciate it.
- 57:55Speaker 12: And I think one of the coolest things about us
- 57:58Speaker 12: is like we we were born, you know, we were
- 58:02Speaker 12: pretty poor our family and like our mom died when
- 58:04Speaker 12: we were young, and this was our dream and we
- 58:07Speaker 12: wanted to do it. And we legitimately like as much
- 58:10Speaker 12: as you can start at the bottom, bottom bottom, you
- 58:13Speaker 12: know what I mean, come and being extras and after
- 58:15Speaker 12: we would work TVs, we'd get damn sixty six percent
- 58:18Speaker 12: of our money taken by the Italian study and he
- 58:20Speaker 12: was booking us, you know, and he'd rip us off
- 58:22Speaker 12: for three nights. But you know, we were able to
- 58:24Speaker 12: be those guys. And we saw how some of those
- 58:27Speaker 12: guys got treated by stars at that time, and we
- 58:29Speaker 12: thought it was like shitty. And I just remember, once
- 58:31Speaker 12: we made it, we're like, well, if we ever see
- 58:33Speaker 12: these guys, let's be very accommodating.
- 58:35Speaker 1: And you know, it's like, hey, what's up. You never
- 58:37Speaker 1: know who is going to be what.
- 58:39Speaker 12: You know, there's always potential everywhere, and you know, I
- 58:42Speaker 12: think that's an important part of human kindom anyways, you know,
- 58:45Speaker 12: just try and treat people good, try and be good
- 58:47Speaker 12: to people, regardless of where you're at, especially if you're
- 58:50Speaker 12: one that has been fortunate enough to like live a
- 58:52Speaker 12: good life. And we both, we both live a good
- 58:55Speaker 12: life wrestling. His blesses both so much. And we're just
- 58:58Speaker 12: so grateful to have good people like you guys and
- 59:02Speaker 12: other guys in pro wrestling that we can interact with,
- 59:04Speaker 12: that we can be friends with, especially people like you guys.
- 59:06Speaker 1: I told you, I'm very envious. I admire how you
- 59:09Speaker 1: guys have built this whole Major Brothers brand. It's incredible.
- 59:13Speaker 1: It's very very good stuff.
- 59:15Speaker 12: And the fact that you Matt, you you know, better
- 59:18Speaker 12: than yourself after WB and you went out and you
- 59:21Speaker 12: did this stuff, becoming the King of the death Match
- 59:23Speaker 12: and this, and then once again you're like the evolution
- 59:25Speaker 12: of things that we have done in the past, and
- 59:28Speaker 12: like you totally built yourself up where WB needed to
- 59:32Speaker 12: hire you back as opposed to you needing to go back,
- 59:34Speaker 12: which is very very cool.
- 59:35Speaker 4: I appreciate that.
