- 0:00Speaker 1: But still, no comment from the congresswoman at this time,
- 0:03Speaker 1: but we can confirm she is under federal criminal investigation.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I do want to add one more thing, if I can, guys.
- 0:09Speaker 1: A judge did have to sign off on this search warrant.
- 0:11Speaker 1: This is not something DOJ or Homeland Security could just
- 0:14Speaker 1: do ad hoc. This is something a federal judge would
- 0:17Speaker 1: have had to sign off on for them behind me
- 0:20Speaker 1: to be here today.
- 0:21Speaker 2: You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Good Wednesday morning.
- 0:26Speaker 4: So nice to have you with us on the 47
- 0:28Speaker 4: Morning Update and the controversy surrounding Congresswoman Ilham Omar is
- 0:32Speaker 4: exploding with reports of subpoenas targeting members of her family
- 0:37Speaker 4: now and multiple investigations raising serious new questions. So what
- 0:42Speaker 4: exactly are investigators looking for and how far could this go?
- 0:46Speaker 4: And what could it mean for the Minnesota congresswoman? I
- 0:49Speaker 4: break it all down for you. The allegations, the investigations
- 0:53Speaker 4: and the growing political fallout. But before we get to that,

- 1:07Speaker 4: We get comfortable and the left starts taking back ground
- 1:10Speaker 4: inch by inch. That is something we cannot let happen
- 1:13Speaker 4: in these midterms. America needs every one of us in

- 2:25Speaker 4: switch today. It's the 47 Morning Update, and it starts
- 2:29Speaker 4: right now.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Elam Omar. Let's deal with her for a moment.
- 2:34Speaker 4: There is some new breaking news about Ilham Omar, and
- 2:38Speaker 4: I want you to hear what was reported on Fox
- 2:42Speaker 4: about this.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Take a listen.
- 2:44Speaker 1: HSI agents giving this some sort of immigration relation as
- 2:49Speaker 1: far as this case is involved, though we are told
- 2:51Speaker 1: this is a criminal investigation. We don't know the specifics,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but a Justice Department spokesperson did tell us this on
- 2:59Speaker 1: the record, quote, Today in the Washington, D.C. area, Homeland
- 3:02Speaker 1: Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by
- 3:08Speaker 1: the Department of Justice. This enforcement action is part of
- 3:11Speaker 1: an ongoing federal criminal investigation, end quote. No comment at
- 3:15Speaker 1: this point from Congresswoman Omar. We've reached out to her office.
- 3:19Speaker 1: No statements on social media. Again, this began a little
- 3:22Speaker 1: bit after six o'clock this morning here, John. We've seen
- 3:25Speaker 1: agents leave with boxes. Does not appear to be any
- 3:28Speaker 1: sort of intense raid. I mean, I know we use
- 3:31Speaker 1: the word raid, but no one knocking down doors, no
- 3:33Speaker 1: one running in with flashlights or any type of weapons.
- 3:36Speaker 1: It's been fairly quiet here on this block on Columbus Day.
- 3:40Speaker 1: A couple of neighbors mulling around. asking what's going on.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But clearly, we now know that Congresswoman Omar, and I
- 3:47Speaker 1: will note, it's unusual to see the Justice Department take
- 3:50Speaker 1: an overt action three weeks before an election.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Now, that's how all this started.
- 3:56Speaker 4: We are now getting word in some new reporting that
- 4:00Speaker 4: has come out about what may be behind all of this.
- 4:05Speaker 3: And one of them is this new.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Article that's come out from the New York Post. Representative
- 4:11Speaker 4: Alam Omar's staff got her birthday changed officially after being
- 4:16Speaker 4: elected to Congress.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Records now show.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Representative Alam Omar's staff helped get her birthday changed in
- 4:26Speaker 4: public records once the Minnesota Democrat was elected to Congress
- 4:29Speaker 4: in 2018. A switch has since spurred, well, major accusations
- 4:34Speaker 4: that she misrepresented her age to secure U.S.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Citizenship.
- 4:39Speaker 4: The alteration could offer a big clue as to what
- 4:42Speaker 4: federal immigration agents were searching for when they raided her D.C.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Home on Monday.
- 4:48Speaker 4: If the congresswoman is actually one year older than she
- 4:52Speaker 4: claimed to be, that would mean she couldn't have legally
- 4:55Speaker 4: become a U.S. citizen in 2020. Omar's birth date has
- 5:00Speaker 4: been listed in the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library as October
- 5:05Speaker 4: the 4th of 1981. as well as one reference site
- 5:11Speaker 4: such as Wikipedia and in media outlets like the BBC
- 5:14Speaker 4: for the entire time she served in the State House
- 5:17Speaker 4: and for several months into her congressional term.
- 5:21Speaker 3: But the Congresswoman's.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Staff moved to shift the date forward by one year
- 5:26Speaker 4: in May of 2019 after a video from a political
- 5:29Speaker 4: opponent went viral that claimed Omar was fibbing about her age,
- 5:34Speaker 4: according to emails reviewed now by the New York Post.
- 5:38Speaker 4: On May 17, 2019, library staff were informed by Representative
- 5:45Speaker 4: Omar's congressional staff that her birthday year was incorrect and
- 5:50Speaker 4: requested that it be changed to 1982. That is what
- 5:55Speaker 4: the director of the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library in an
- 5:58Speaker 4: email just days after the change was made. Quote, Representative
- 6:03Speaker 4: Amar's congressional staff are working with Wikipedia and with the
- 6:08Speaker 4: Biographical Directory of the United States Congress and other sources
- 6:12Speaker 4: to correct her birth year on those sites. As of today,
- 6:16Speaker 4: the birth year has not been corrected on the two
- 6:18Speaker 4: sites I mentioned the director added in the May 24,
- 6:22Speaker 4: 2019 email. Now, by the way, this seems like an
- 6:25Speaker 4: awful lot of work to get a year changed. I
- 6:28Speaker 4: just want to throw that out there. the legislative reference
- 6:34Speaker 4: library director who did not respond to requests for comment
- 6:37Speaker 4: said another email that the initial 1981 birth year had been, uh,
- 6:42Speaker 4: put down because it was widely available in Wikipedia and
- 6:46Speaker 4: the biographical directory. And so we add the birth date
- 6:50Speaker 4: without documentation reps for the congresswoman's office and Omar herself
- 6:55Speaker 4: have repeatedly denied allegations of immigration fraud. Uh, Quote, for
- 7:01Speaker 4: 10 years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and
- 7:04Speaker 4: smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his
- 7:08Speaker 4: campaign of political intimidation, Omar said in a statement on X. Now,
- 7:13Speaker 4: the Minnesota individual has long claimed that she received what's
- 7:19Speaker 4: known as a derivative citizenship through her father. who she
- 7:25Speaker 4: said became a naturalized citizen in 2000, five years after
- 7:29Speaker 4: coming into the country from war-torn Somalia. Quote, I became
- 7:35Speaker 4: a citizen actually before I turned 18. That's what she
- 7:38Speaker 4: told The Intercept in a September 2018 interview. My father
- 7:42Speaker 4: became a citizen, so I got my citizenship through that process.
- 7:47Speaker 5: A.J.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Kern, who came in a distant fourth against.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Omar in the 2022 House Democratic primary for Minnesota's 5th District,
- 7:55Speaker 4: said in a phone call on Tuesday that she claims
- 7:59Speaker 4: her citizenship narrative is that she derived citizenship through her
- 8:03Speaker 4: father when she was a 17-year-old minor. Yeah, there's more
- 8:08Speaker 4: to the story. You understand where it's going now, right?
- 8:11Speaker 4: Now you understand why some people are asking questions. The
- 8:14Speaker 4: DOJ has fired off apparently grand jury subpoenas to relatives
- 8:21Speaker 4: of the Somali representative Valaam Omar, including her sister, as
- 8:25Speaker 4: the criminal investigation is ramping up. We've been told now
- 8:30Speaker 4: that federal agents are digging through her family's history for
- 8:33Speaker 4: evidence of fraud and false statements in immigration paperwork. The
- 8:37Speaker 4: probe reportedly focuses in part on whether Omar's late father
- 8:41Speaker 4: lied or left information out of his immigration forms before
- 8:45Speaker 4: becoming a U.S.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Citizen.
- 8:47Speaker 4: That matters because Omar says she got her citizenship through him. Now,
- 8:52Speaker 4: this comes one day after DHS agents searched her D.C.
- 8:55Speaker 4: home and hauled out boxes of documents. And now there's
- 8:59Speaker 4: a lot of people saying that the walls are finally
- 9:01Speaker 4: closing in on Omar.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Here's a little bit more of the reporting from Fox.
- 9:06Speaker 1: All this happened a little bit shortly after six o'clock
- 9:09Speaker 1: this morning here at Congresswoman Omar's home in Washington, D.C.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It's unclear if she's home at this time. It does
- 9:16Speaker 1: not appear so because we've been out here for several
- 9:18Speaker 1: hours now. after this happened. You can see on scene
- 9:21Speaker 1: behind me, there are several investigators from Homeland Security Investigations.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I'm going to back out of the way. Homeland Security Investigations,
- 9:29Speaker 1: they go by HSI. They are on scene. Also told
- 9:33Speaker 1: that DOJ involved in this investigation. We don't have details, guys,
- 9:37Speaker 1: specifically about what the investigation entails, but we can report
- 9:41Speaker 1: that it is a federal criminal investigation. I want to
- 9:45Speaker 1: read a statement from from a DOJ spokesperson. It says, quote,
- 9:49Speaker 1: today in the Washington, D.C. area, Homeland Security Investigations executed
- 9:53Speaker 1: a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice.
- 9:58Speaker 1: This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. Again,
- 10:03Speaker 1: we are out here at the congresswoman's home in Washington, D.C.
- 10:07Speaker 1: No public comments from her at this time. But agents
- 10:10Speaker 1: have been out here for several hours, fairly quiet on
- 10:13Speaker 1: the street today on this Columbus Day here in Washington, D.C.
- 10:17Speaker 1: A couple of agents outside going in and out of
- 10:20Speaker 1: the home, but not a real strong presence, but still
- 10:23Speaker 1: no comment from the congresswoman at this time. But we
- 10:26Speaker 1: can confirm she is under federal criminal investigation. I do
- 10:29Speaker 1: want to add one more thing, if I can, guys.
- 10:31Speaker 1: A judge did have to sign off on this search warrant.
- 10:33Speaker 1: This is not something DOJ or Homeland Security could just
- 10:37Speaker 1: do ad hoc. This is something a federal judge would
- 10:40Speaker 1: have had to sign off on for them behind me
- 10:42Speaker 1: to be here today.
- 10:44Speaker 4: That is the part that's very interesting is the part
- 10:46Speaker 4: where he says that this had to be signed off on.
- 10:50Speaker 4: And you connect that with Omar's staff that got her
- 10:52Speaker 4: birthday changed officially after being elected to Congress.
- 10:55Speaker 3: You say, why? You do that and then you say.
- 11:00Speaker 4: All right, well, why would it matter that much to
- 11:03Speaker 4: change it from 81 to 82 after you're elected to Congress,
- 11:06Speaker 4: drawing into questions the validity of her acquiring citizenship? Because
- 11:11Speaker 4: that one year makes a huge difference between being a
- 11:14Speaker 4: minor at 17 and being an adult at 18.
- 11:18Speaker 3: That actually matters. 1-877-381-3811.
- 11:21Speaker 4: 1-877-381-3811. Let me go to Christina. Line three, you're on
- 11:29Speaker 4: the Mark Levin Show. Ben Ferguson with you.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Hi.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Hi, how are you?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Doing well. How are you?
- 11:34Speaker 6: I'm doing okay. On the topic of Ilhan Omar, I
- 11:38Speaker 6: think what you're saying is very correct. It's all over
- 11:41Speaker 6: social media, as you might know, that she kind of
- 11:45Speaker 6: hates America by saying jihad is here. She's recorded screaming
- 11:52Speaker 6: jihad is here to a group of people. So that
- 11:58Speaker 6: should be highlighted.
- 11:59Speaker 4: What I know about her is when you start saying
- 12:03Speaker 4: that you want to raise your kids not in America,
- 12:07Speaker 4: but in your country that you clearly are pledging allegiance to,
- 12:10Speaker 4: which again is not America, then my question is why
- 12:12Speaker 4: the hell are you in this country? And why the
- 12:17Speaker 4: hell are you a U.S.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Congresswoman?
- 12:20Speaker 4: If you hate this country, you know, a llama Mars
- 12:24Speaker 4: speaks out and about the range. She says, I will
- 12:26Speaker 4: not be silenced by the way, but no one's asking
- 12:28Speaker 4: that you be silenced. What we are saying is, did
- 12:32Speaker 4: you lie about like your citizenship? And when you were,
- 12:35Speaker 4: when you came to this country and how old you
- 12:37Speaker 4: were now, quote for derivative citizenship, two things have to
- 12:43Speaker 4: be true. One, her father has, has to be naturalized.
- 12:47Speaker 4: And two, she still had to be a minor. And
- 12:51Speaker 4: what I have found, and this is again her old
- 12:54Speaker 4: opponent that ran against her, this is him talking, he said,
- 12:56Speaker 4: I have found is it's highly likely that neither of
- 12:59Speaker 4: those things are true. Now, Kern, who later filed an
- 13:03Speaker 4: SEC complaint to demand proof of citizenship, the complaint, by
- 13:08Speaker 4: the way, went nowhere because a judge found it was, quote,
- 13:10Speaker 4: the job of Congress to vet their members, Kern said. Now,
- 13:14Speaker 4: if she lied about her birth date on any official form,
- 13:17Speaker 4: a passport renewal or bank loan application, for example, then
- 13:21Speaker 4: Omar could be prosecuted. And given naturalization fraud has a
- 13:25Speaker 4: 10-year statute of limitations. Now, people familiar with the multi-year
- 13:29Speaker 4: federal criminal investigation to Omar have suggested that she's being
- 13:33Speaker 4: looked at for making false statements on immigration forms. Asked
- 13:38Speaker 4: what Homeland Security investigation agents may have been looking for,
- 13:41Speaker 4: that's when her old opponent suggested her citizenship papers, her
- 13:45Speaker 4: father's naturalization records. Now, President Trump also boosted Kern's claims
- 13:50Speaker 4: back in December of 2025, I should say, in a
- 13:55Speaker 4: true social post. And administration officials have consistently mentioned Omar
- 14:00Speaker 4: being probed for possible immigration fraud. Now, she, of course,
- 14:05Speaker 4: is playing the victim card right now and saying, you know,
- 14:08Speaker 4: come after me, come after me. You know, this is just,
- 14:11Speaker 4: this is what happens. By the way, this is the
- 14:13Speaker 4: same woman that also had $ 29 million vanished from her
- 14:17Speaker 4: net worth. in months as she was asked about it
- 14:21Speaker 4: and laughed when reporters asked her about it. And now, again,
- 14:25Speaker 4: she's under investigation, so we may get answers for that
- 14:28Speaker 4: as well soon. Here is Omar in the halls of
- 14:31Speaker 4: Congress being asked about being worth $ 29 million, and then
- 14:34Speaker 4: all of a sudden it all just disappears.
- 14:37Speaker 7: Since your net worth dropped on the new forms, the
- 14:40Speaker 7: new financial disclosure forms, could you tell us if your
- 14:44Speaker 7: husband still has the consulting business?
- 14:45Speaker 1: No.
- 14:47Speaker 7: And the wine business? I remember you were saying it
- 14:53Speaker 7: was an accounting error before, but the new forms are
- 14:56Speaker 7: even lower in terms of the net worth. Does he
- 15:00Speaker 7: still have those companies, the business? Consulting business and the
- 15:06Speaker 7: wine business? Anything you can say on that, Congresswoman?
- 15:16Speaker 4: Now, This is a woman who had $ 29 million vanish
- 15:19Speaker 4: from her net worth.
- 15:21Speaker 3: And why did it vanish?
- 15:22Speaker 4: Because apparently she was in a wine business that never
- 15:24Speaker 4: really did wine, and then it all went away, so
- 15:26Speaker 4: she just made it come off of her campaign disclosures,
- 15:30Speaker 4: which you've got to sit there.
- 15:31Speaker 3: And just scratch your head on that one.
- 15:33Speaker 4: This also comes as there's the other controversy about her marriage.
- 15:40Speaker 4: You look at just the marriage part. Just the marriage part.
- 15:46Speaker 4: And the question that everyone should be asking is this now.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Did Olam Omar marry her own brother in an effort
- 15:51Speaker 4: to circumvent American immigration laws? Now, before we go any
- 15:56Speaker 4: further on that, I want to be clear. This is
- 15:58Speaker 4: an allegation that has been asked about countless times. Of course,
- 16:05Speaker 4: Omar always denied it. And now there's another question about
- 16:10Speaker 4: the documented history involving multiple marriages, then divorces, overlapping relationships,
- 16:15Speaker 4: and then the possibility of improperly filed tax returns. All
- 16:21Speaker 4: of that, by the way, apparently is now being examined
- 16:23Speaker 4: as well. It is complicated, by the way, because it
- 16:26Speaker 4: begins more than 20 years ago. Let me take you
- 16:30Speaker 4: back in time. The first marriage, you got to go
- 16:33Speaker 4: back to 2002. Elam Omar was 19 years old when
- 16:36Speaker 4: she entered into what she described as a religious marriage
- 16:39Speaker 4: with a man by the last name of Hirsi. According
- 16:44Speaker 4: to Omar, the two married under their Islamic faith tradition,
- 16:48Speaker 4: but they never completed a legally recognized civil marriage.
- 16:52Speaker 3: They went on to have two children together.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Then in 2008, Omar says the relationship ended through a, quote,
- 16:58Speaker 4: religious divorce. So far, this is a story about a
- 17:01Speaker 4: couple whose marriage and separation were recognized within their religious traditions,
- 17:05Speaker 4: but not through the state's civil marriage system, she claims.
- 17:09Speaker 4: All right, that's an important distinction. Now, this is what
- 17:13Speaker 4: happens next and where the controversy really, like, explodes. The
- 17:18Speaker 4: second husband and the brother allegations come into play in
- 17:22Speaker 4: February of 2009. Omar legally married a British citizen by
- 17:26Speaker 4: the last name of Elmi. This marriage is documented in
- 17:30Speaker 4: Minnesota's public records.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Omar says their relationship.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Ended in 2011, but this is where the detail matters
- 17:37Speaker 4: because she says they separated through their religious traditions in 11,
- 17:41Speaker 4: but they did not, quote, legally divorce until December of 2017.
- 17:45Speaker 4: That's approximately six years after their reported separation.
- 17:51Speaker 3: And during that period, Omar reconciled.
- 17:53Speaker 4: With her first partner, right, the guy she was religiously
- 17:56Speaker 4: married to, Hirsi. Then in 2012, Omar and Hirsi, or Hirsi,
- 18:03Speaker 4: however the hell you say the first dude's name, had
- 18:05Speaker 4: their third child. Meanwhile, Omar remained legally married to Elmi.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Then people started asking questions about the relationship between Omar
- 18:16Speaker 4: and Elmi. And in 2016, there were allegations began circulating
- 18:21Speaker 4: that Elmi was actually Omar's brother. So, that would mean
- 18:27Speaker 4: that she... The allegation is she married him to help
- 18:30Speaker 4: him obtain immigration benefits. Now, that obviously is a massive accusation,
- 18:36Speaker 4: a serious one. But if someone knowingly enters into a
- 18:39Speaker 4: fraudulent marriage to evade immigration laws, there can yet again
- 18:45Speaker 4: be criminal consequences. The fact that Omar married Elmi is documented.
- 18:52Speaker 4: The claim that Elmi is her brother, by the way,
- 18:55Speaker 4: is what has not been, quote, legally established yet, which
- 18:58Speaker 4: is why people are now looking into it. You put
- 19:02Speaker 4: all of this together and it's a lot, folks. You
- 19:06Speaker 4: got $ 29 million that vanishes from her net worth. You've
- 19:09Speaker 4: got the accusation that she apparently married her brother and
- 19:13Speaker 4: then remarries the guy she first had kids with after
- 19:16Speaker 4: she says they were gone, but then they were somehow
- 19:18Speaker 4: not together but together because we have religious marriages instead
- 19:21Speaker 4: of state marriages, but the state marriage was the one
- 19:23Speaker 4: that was on the books for the time to help
- 19:25Speaker 4: get benefits from an immigration standpoint. And then you add
- 19:30Speaker 4: this in with a huge revelation coming from the New
- 19:33Speaker 4: York Post saying, That Alam Omar's congressional staff got her
- 19:37Speaker 4: birth year changed from 1981 to 1982 after she was
- 19:40Speaker 4: elected to Congress because that would have been the year
- 19:44Speaker 4: she needed to acquire.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Citizenship as a minor under her father.
- 19:48Speaker 4: That is a lot, folks. I mean, that is a
- 19:52Speaker 4: lot to unwind. By the way, no one should be
- 19:55Speaker 4: surprised by this.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Like, no one.
- 19:58Speaker 4: And let me just say something else. To every single
- 20:01Speaker 4: Democrat that's now complaining about this investigation to Alam Omar...
- 20:06Speaker 4: Let me remind you what Alam Omar said herself about investigations.
- 20:12Speaker 3: No, I mean, I.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Listen, suggest all you want.
- 20:17Speaker 7: Please investigate all you want, right? Like, to me, I'm not.
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'm not, like, I'm above the law.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Isn't that exactly, by the way, what the Department of
- 20:25Speaker 4: Justice and the Department of Homeland Security are doing right now?
- 20:29Speaker 4: She said, please investigate all you want. She said she's
- 20:33Speaker 4: not breaking the law. She said that on The Breakfast Club,
- 20:35Speaker 4: by the way. And she's like, okay, then if that's
- 20:39Speaker 4: what we're doing here, then that's what we're doing here.
- 20:48Speaker 1: 1-877-381-3811.
- 20:48Speaker 4: 1-877-381-3811. Let's get to your phone calls. Anthony, line two, welcome.
- 20:53Speaker 4: You are on the Mark Levin Show. Ben Ferguson filling in.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Hello.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Yes, hi. You kind of almost hit on it with
- 21:00Speaker 5: that last little segment there. But the point that I
- 21:04Speaker 5: want to bring up is, Why do we believe anything
- 21:09Speaker 5: that a Muslim candidate says when we know that part
- 21:14Speaker 5: of their, an integral part of their religion, is that
- 21:17Speaker 5: lying is accepted? And the second point is, when we
- 21:23Speaker 5: do our campaign advertisements, why aren't we bringing this up
- 21:28Speaker 5: to the general population so they know these people are
- 21:32Speaker 5: just lying because of their religion? That's all I want
- 21:35Speaker 5: to say.
- 21:36Speaker 3: You know, it's interesting.
- 21:37Speaker 4: You also got to ask yourself a question, Anthony, and
- 21:41Speaker 4: it deals with Elam Omar, who who is she really representing?
- 21:46Speaker 4: And I want to play this for you, because this
- 21:48Speaker 4: is Omar saying that she dreams of living in Somalia again,
- 21:52Speaker 4: not America, in Somalia again.
- 21:55Speaker 5: Not in Jeddah, Kenya and what this is not.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Oh wait, you can't understand what she's saying, can you?
- 22:03Speaker 4: Because she's speaking in a foreign language. So I'm going
- 22:06Speaker 4: to give you what she said in her own words.
- 22:09Speaker 4: We must fix our roads, she says. We must, I'm
- 22:14Speaker 4: an American migrant, she then goes on to say after that.
- 22:17Speaker 3: And she says, in the U.S. Congress. But I am
- 22:21Speaker 3: a Somali girl.
- 22:24Speaker 4: A girl with your lineage, she says to the crowd.
- 22:27Speaker 3: A girl with your religion.
- 22:29Speaker 4: That was a young child taken from her country, referring
- 22:33Speaker 4: to Somalia, that misses her country and wishes to live
- 22:36Speaker 4: there and share with its people. I am hopeful in
- 22:44Speaker 4: the future, she goes on to say, that me and
- 22:46Speaker 4: my children will be able to raise our kids That's
- 22:50Speaker 4: her words. In this land where I was born and raised,
- 22:54Speaker 4: referring to Somalia, to make that possible. There is a
- 22:58Speaker 4: lot that we need to work on together to make
- 23:01Speaker 4: our land a more stable and prosperous place.
- 23:03Speaker 3: She's not talking about America. She's talking about Somalia.
- 23:05Speaker 4: That is felt by all. So she says we must
- 23:08Speaker 4: fix our roads. That is what she said in her
- 23:11Speaker 4: own words.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I would say this.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Let's fulfill those dreams. Like, let's fulfill those dreams. By
- 23:18Speaker 4: the way, President Trump, he had something to say about this.
- 23:20Speaker 4: He kept it real short and sweet. The president, in
- 23:23Speaker 4: his own words, before he got a Marine One.
- 23:26Speaker 5: Very carefully. I've always found her to be totally crooked personally, but.
- 23:31Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with me.
- 23:33Speaker 7: I think she's a terrible person, just a complainer.
- 23:36Speaker 4: She comes from a.
- 23:37Speaker 7: Country that is.
- 23:39Speaker 5: A non-country.
- 23:39Speaker 4: And then she comes.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Over here and she complains about our Constitution.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I think she's a terrible person, but that's really up
- 23:47Speaker 3: to the DOJ. I have nothing to do with it.
- 23:49Speaker 3: That's really up to the DOJ. I have nothing to
- 23:52Speaker 3: do with it. And this is exactly, by the way,
- 23:55Speaker 3: what I voted for.
