- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Everybody, welcome to game debut, butsit about season sports book.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Patrick Claybon back here with Greg Rosendalt and Cynthia Freeland.
- 0:18Speaker 2: If you like the last week's NFL action.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Why do we have four incredible games coming up this week?
- 0:24Speaker 4: I have never seen a field like the AFC, specifically
- 0:27Speaker 4: where I think all four teams I don't know what
- 0:30Speaker 4: your model says, has a twenty five percent chance to
- 0:32Speaker 4: make the Super Bowl exactly. That's how I see it.
- 0:35Speaker 5: Well, that's pretty precise. I don't necessarily have that, but
- 0:38Speaker 5: I will say in the AFC it's anyone's match. In
- 0:41Speaker 5: the NFC, maybe a little more lopsided in favor of
- 0:43Speaker 5: I don't know one particular team.
- 0:45Speaker 2: One thing that's always true, it's worth listening to Cynthia
- 0:48Speaker 2: Freeland because she's got the lead, the early lead in
- 0:50Speaker 2: our playoff pickstand.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Is a new season, it's a second season. It's somehou's
- 0:54Speaker 3: important seasons. I'll get that crowned on.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Synthy already did confetti. You know that's the important season.
- 1:00Speaker 4: There's the regular season.
- 1:02Speaker 3: I'll have you know the confetti.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Canon budget is doing okay, okay, maybe maybe come Super
- 1:09Speaker 2: Bowl sixty we'll have some telecommunicated competti to go up.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Here's a look at the divisional round schedule coming up.
- 1:16Speaker 2: These four games on the way this weekend. On Saturday,
- 1:20Speaker 2: it's the Bills and the Broncos. The San Francisco forty
- 1:23Speaker 2: Unders at the Seahawks.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Sunday, we get a.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Chance to see the Houston Texans taking on the Patriots
- 1:28Speaker 2: in Foxborough and Rams Bears in Chicago. Cynthia's got that
- 1:33Speaker 2: one game lead because of those Buffalo Bills getting a
- 1:36Speaker 2: road win, and it all starts with them. That was
- 1:38Speaker 2: their first road playoff win since the early nineties. Allan
- 1:43Speaker 2: in the shotgun takes the pass there, looks.
- 1:46Speaker 6: For Kincaid and he's got them who carries it into the.
- 1:49Speaker 3: End zone for that touchdown.
- 1:52Speaker 6: Jolton Kincaid strikes from fifteen yards out and the Bills
- 1:57Speaker 6: have the lead back again.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Lawrence back to pass looking on an inbreaker, Brook it
- 2:03Speaker 3: up and intercept it. Pick up my cold Bishop game,
- 2:07Speaker 3: shit match.
- 2:08Speaker 6: Buffalo's gonna win the wild card game here at Jackson
- 2:12Speaker 6: Bill the Bills.
- 2:14Speaker 2: In the top seed of Broncos facing off Saturday in Denver.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Buffalo knock Sean Payton squad out of the playoffs last year.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Does Denver get revenge?
- 2:22Speaker 4: He does not. I'm flipping. I was wrong about the
- 2:25Speaker 4: Bills last week. I'm gonna be right this week. If
- 2:28Speaker 4: you do this job long enough, eventually you can become
- 2:32Speaker 4: time of possession complimentary football guy. That's what the Bills
- 2:36Speaker 4: will do with their run game twenty six to twenty
- 2:39Speaker 4: three because of what that man seventeen can do on
- 2:43Speaker 4: the ground, but also what his teammates can do when
- 2:46Speaker 4: he hands the ball off. The offensive line, which has
- 2:49Speaker 4: been in place essentially for three straight years, help this
- 2:53Speaker 4: team lead the NFL in rushing yards, third in success
- 2:57Speaker 4: rate this year. I think about that playoff game a
- 3:00Speaker 4: year ago. They were playing it on NFL network Goaler
- 3:03Speaker 4: this week and reminded me they had the ball for
- 3:05Speaker 4: forty minutes in that game, and I think that's the
- 3:07Speaker 4: perfect way to beat this Bronco's passing defense is just
- 3:13Speaker 4: keep handing the ball off and maybe just a few
- 3:16Speaker 4: less snaps for that elder Bill's defense keep them off
- 3:19Speaker 4: the field too.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, they're advanced. They've seen a lot of football. They
- 3:23Speaker 2: have experiences one way to discuss it. I also was
- 3:26Speaker 2: wrong about the Bills last week, so I also would
- 3:29Speaker 2: like to play catch up and take the Buffalo Bills
- 3:31Speaker 2: winning twenty six to twenty four. One way that you
- 3:34Speaker 2: can have a long time of possession is get to
- 3:37Speaker 2: third and one or fourth and one and get what
- 3:39Speaker 2: feels like an automatic first down, or maybe you could
- 3:41Speaker 2: get essentially seven to eight yards in a game winning
- 3:45Speaker 2: quarterback sneak. But it's not just Josh Allen being able
- 3:47Speaker 2: to get those difficult yards where he's playing through multiple
- 3:50Speaker 2: injuries and battering his body to a pulp.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Regardless of the circumstances.
- 3:55Speaker 2: The Bills running backs and tight ends get eight point
- 3:58Speaker 2: eight yards per target. They're first in the NFL in
- 4:01Speaker 2: that capacity. Yeah, the Broncos are great in the secondary.
- 4:03Speaker 2: They have there any defensive player they are playing cornerback,
- 4:06Speaker 2: I think they able to avoid them and have a
- 4:07Speaker 2: successful game.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Here, Cynthia, well, you're letting me stand alone on an
- 4:11Speaker 5: island picking Denver.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Oh, the role reversal the home underdone.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Twenty four to twenty three is my score? Why the
- 4:20Speaker 5: screen pass. Let's have a little bit of a tribute
- 4:23Speaker 5: here for how bo Nicks does on these short, high
- 4:26Speaker 5: probability passes where he has the second most yards in
- 4:29Speaker 5: the league this season. I'm looking at this because why
- 4:32Speaker 5: we know the Bills defense is very generous to the run.
- 4:36Speaker 5: What's another way to approximate a run a screen pass?
- 4:39Speaker 5: Of course, And ultimately you talked about time of possession,
- 4:42Speaker 5: and when you talk about time and possession, typically that
- 4:45Speaker 5: happens in the run game. It's not usually achieved through
- 4:47Speaker 5: passes unless they're what kind of passes screen passes. So
- 4:52Speaker 5: ultimately I think that their roles will reverse in this one.
- 4:55Speaker 5: And instead of seeing the Bills come out on top
- 4:58Speaker 5: and just totally crush time of possession and kind of
- 5:00Speaker 5: all aspects of that game, I think the Denver Broncos defense,
- 5:04Speaker 5: sneaky good against the run, isn't going to let that happen.
- 5:07Speaker 5: And also injuries to the very light receiving for for
- 5:11Speaker 5: the Bills also influences my decision.
- 5:14Speaker 2: So they got that playoff lead with the belief in
- 5:16Speaker 2: faith in the Bills getting a road win.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Role reversal this time around.
- 5:21Speaker 2: The player props according to our friends at Caesar Sports Book,
- 5:24Speaker 2: Josh Allen two hundred and fifty five and a half
- 5:25Speaker 2: total yards James Cook seventy six and a half rushing
- 5:28Speaker 2: yards against the number two rush defense, Bo Nicks at
- 5:31Speaker 2: two thirteen and a half r J Harvey at fifty
- 5:33Speaker 2: five and a half rushing yards in Courtland Sutton at
- 5:36Speaker 2: fifty five and a half receiving yards. So allow us
- 5:39Speaker 2: to play this guy or that guy will start with you, Greg,
- 5:42Speaker 2: who's more likely to have over fifty receiving yards?
- 5:45Speaker 3: Khalil Shakir or Courtland's.
- 5:46Speaker 4: This one's tough because Shakiro was almost the entire offense
- 5:49Speaker 4: last week. But I actually think it's Courtland Sutton because
- 5:51Speaker 4: Patrick's heir ten. He's got to cover Khalil Shakir, and
- 5:54Speaker 4: then you got Sutton against Yeah, this secondary which isn't
- 5:58Speaker 4: at full string, No Maxwell Harriston this week. On the
- 6:02Speaker 4: back end, Jordan Poyer is her and yeah, Trenevious White
- 6:05Speaker 4: is getting it done. I think the Broncos could be
- 6:07Speaker 4: in a situation where they have to throw a little
- 6:10Speaker 4: bit more, and Sutton is really the one true, reliable
- 6:15Speaker 4: outside number one receiver in this entire game that includes Shakir,
- 6:18Speaker 4: So I feel more comfortable that he's going to have
- 6:21Speaker 4: a steady game. Let's go court next.
- 6:23Speaker 2: As great as things were in the tight windows circumstances,
- 6:27Speaker 2: and as great as Jacoby Myers has been. I think
- 6:29Speaker 2: with the ball in the air and defenders in close proximity,
- 6:32Speaker 2: Culton Sutton maybe having the edge on Jacoby Marers. Let's
- 6:35Speaker 2: go over to you, Cynthia. Three or more receptions Dalton
- 6:38Speaker 2: Kincaid or r J.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Harvey.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Well, I'm staying internally consistent here and going with R. J.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Harvey because I'm just gonna keep talking about the line
- 6:45Speaker 5: of scrimmage and passes behind the line of scrimmage often
- 6:48Speaker 5: to screen pass, you know, as often as possible here,
- 6:51Speaker 5: because I truly believe that is the way forward for
- 6:54Speaker 5: this game. I do actually think Dalton Kincaid will have
- 6:57Speaker 5: at least three receptions as well. Also, anyone with the
- 7:00Speaker 5: initials DK that's a tight end for them is a
- 7:03Speaker 5: candidate for a touch down to sold has lots of
- 7:06Speaker 5: lots of goodness all around.
- 7:08Speaker 4: So it should be this guy and or that guy
- 7:11Speaker 4: just and and I love.
- 7:13Speaker 3: The naming parallels all around the NFL.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Last one, I will take it over two hundred and
- 7:17Speaker 2: ten passing yards more likely for Josh Allen or bow Knicks.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I will say that I've been convinced by Cynthia Freeland.
- 7:24Speaker 2: I will go bow Nicks as I believe the Buffalo
- 7:27Speaker 2: Bills are going to be short yardage and around the
- 7:30Speaker 2: line of scrimmage for most of the game.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Perhaps bow Knicks will Obviously the.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Screen game will be heavily features as it is in
- 7:37Speaker 2: most of these Denver Broncos games, but maybe it's some
- 7:39Speaker 2: opportunities to challenge the Bills downfield with some of these
- 7:43Speaker 2: larger pass catches.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Let me ask you some really important questions. Okaya more
- 7:47Speaker 5: rushing yards? Josh Allen or bo Nicks?
- 7:50Speaker 3: Ool?
- 7:51Speaker 5: It's a great question.
- 7:52Speaker 4: I mean, is that the Bills to win and you're
- 7:53Speaker 4: going bow Knicks on through the air and you're thinking
- 7:56Speaker 4: about it on the ground.
- 7:57Speaker 5: How you're making me who has more rushing works?
- 7:59Speaker 4: It sounds like a man who switched this picker earlier today.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Answers Josh Allen, I know you feel like it's.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Gonna be a quite what we gotta get this way?
- 8:09Speaker 5: Man?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Oh, it's just damn hooksdown fort.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Who can make a play hockey s random line?
- 8:17Speaker 6: A guy in patches a Fuckall's taken it to the
- 8:21Speaker 6: exist touchdown.
- 8:23Speaker 4: This game has taken quite a turn.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I thought this was a match up.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Miss mass fires near salth.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Going for the roll.
- 8:31Speaker 2: This pick off of the ens when you try me
- 8:33Speaker 2: what it's like, cratch, that's a result of ball game.
- 8:36Speaker 3: A lot made of Richard Sherman returning.
- 8:38Speaker 6: And let me a Touchdowy, howk.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Oh we got up?
- 8:44Speaker 3: That's all we need?
- 8:45Speaker 4: Jo jut Book, let's it.
- 8:48Speaker 6: He's gonna get sacked and gets intercepted by the Seahawks.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Seattle is gonna win this football game.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Time for Sees the season presented by a Caesar Sports Book.
- 8:57Speaker 2: As we look at this NFC West Rivalry playoff matchup
- 9:01Speaker 2: between the forty nine Ers and the Seahawks, your first
- 9:03Speaker 2: touchdown score or odds have Zach Charbonay and JSN leading
- 9:07Speaker 2: the way, with Christian McCaffrey in the middle, a CMC
- 9:09Speaker 2: sandwich because it's Keith's walking to the third, and aj
- 9:12Speaker 2: Barner rounding out that top five. Let's talk more about
- 9:17Speaker 2: this monster matchup in Seattle. The Seahawks beat the Niners
- 9:20Speaker 2: just two weeks ago in Santa Clara thirteen to three.
- 9:23Speaker 2: But Kyle Shanahan's been in the lab. There's beakers and
- 9:26Speaker 2: ingredients being mixed together, there's smoke coming out Sam Darnold
- 9:29Speaker 2: questionable with an oblique injury. Does that move your thoughts
- 9:33Speaker 2: or what do you see taking place in this game?
- 9:34Speaker 5: So I have Seattle winning, but by six points twenty
- 9:36Speaker 5: seven to twenty one. Of course if the oblique injury
- 9:39Speaker 5: makes him not play, things would be a little bit different.
- 9:42Speaker 5: But assuming that he's playing and just injured, twenty seven
- 9:45Speaker 5: to twenty one in this matchup. Because of the run game,
- 9:48Speaker 5: we saw Zach Charbonay be the only touchdown score in
- 9:51Speaker 5: last matchup, so in Week eighteen, he was the only
- 9:54Speaker 5: guy from either team that got in the end zone.
- 9:56Speaker 5: I don't really care about that as much as I
- 9:58Speaker 5: care about how efficient the duo of him and Kenneth
- 10:00Speaker 5: Walker happened to be third most in terms of forcing
- 10:03Speaker 5: mistackles on this season a bunch of yards, so like
- 10:06Speaker 5: over ninety percent of Sharbonay's yards have come after contact
- 10:09Speaker 5: seventy two percent for Kenneth Walker. Where they're being used
- 10:13Speaker 5: on the field a little bit different. Walker tends to
- 10:15Speaker 5: be the non red zone guy Sharbonnay in the red aer.
- 10:17Speaker 5: It doesn't really matter though, because ultimately what happens with
- 10:20Speaker 5: that will it helps Sam Donald from turning the ball over,
- 10:24Speaker 5: which that would be the path for the Niners to
- 10:27Speaker 5: upset this team, given how many pieces are missing from
- 10:29Speaker 5: the Niners.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Yeah, it's such a great divisional rivalry, but I think
- 10:33Speaker 4: of the rivalry having started back when Mike McDonald was
- 10:36Speaker 4: the coach of the Ravens. It helped him get this job.
- 10:40Speaker 4: I have the Seahawks winning this game nineteen to thirteen.
- 10:43Speaker 4: I really trust six points in the same as me. Yeah,
- 10:45Speaker 4: same as you. Defense of the Seattle Seahawks. It's absolutely
- 10:49Speaker 4: special nineteen thirteen because there's not going to be a
- 10:51Speaker 4: lot of scoring. If you think about that, that game
- 10:53Speaker 4: a couple of years ago helped Mike McDonald get this
- 10:55Speaker 4: job because he forced brock Perty into four interceptions back
- 10:59Speaker 4: a couple of years ago, and they said, this is
- 11:01Speaker 4: going to be the Shanahan killer. And you know what
- 11:03Speaker 4: he's done it. Every time Perty plays against this awesome defense,
- 11:07Speaker 4: the Seahawks make him play weirder. Week one, it was
- 11:11Speaker 4: the most pressured he's ever been in a single game
- 11:14Speaker 4: all season. Got a little lucky, I think, to get
- 11:16Speaker 4: that win, by the way. Total score of that game
- 11:18Speaker 4: thirty points. Week eighteen, he didn't throw a single pass
- 11:23Speaker 4: over twenty yards in the whole game, only time that
- 11:26Speaker 4: happened all season. I feel great about the Seahawks eight
- 11:28Speaker 4: feel even greater about that number being low. If you
- 11:31Speaker 4: add up the numbers of the two games that these
- 11:33Speaker 4: two teams have played this year, it adds up to
- 11:35Speaker 4: about forty six between two games. So I think it's
- 11:37Speaker 4: going to be a low score game and the Seahawks
- 11:39Speaker 4: defense wins.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I love what you guys have presented, and Broughton here
- 11:43Speaker 2: I disagree. I think the Loder Nuners win this game.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I think it's a three point win the San Franciscore
- 11:47Speaker 2: forty Niners twenty four to twenty one.
- 11:49Speaker 3: So I see way more points than Greg.
- 11:50Speaker 2: And I'm also looking back at that Week one game
- 11:53Speaker 2: because yeah, that man was playing in Week one and
- 11:56Speaker 2: didn't necessarily play through Trip Williams' best extent. And I
- 11:59Speaker 2: think sitting Trip Williams in that matchup that the last
- 12:03Speaker 2: matchup thease two teams had in the regular season, was
- 12:07Speaker 2: a great decision.
- 12:07Speaker 3: You lose the.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Game, you don't get a good opportunity to get home
- 12:11Speaker 2: field in the playoffs, but you will have Fritt Williams
- 12:13Speaker 2: back playing well. He's not playing to the full extent
- 12:17Speaker 2: where we expect Trent Williams to be able to execute.
- 12:19Speaker 2: There were some plays, in fact, a couple of pressures
- 12:22Speaker 2: that he gave up against the Philadelphia.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Eagles are also plays.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Where the pass rusher had no opportunity, and you can
- 12:29Speaker 2: get plays like this like Jake tanja Is making a
- 12:31Speaker 2: game winning catch against the Seattle Seahawks in Week one
- 12:34Speaker 2: because George Kittle was missing.
- 12:36Speaker 3: There's some parallels here.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I think Kyle Shanahan and the forty nine ers have
- 12:39Speaker 2: an opportunity to get a win. Folks, seize the season.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Is brought to you by Caesars Sportsbook. New users can
- 12:46Speaker 2: get their first bet matched up to two hundred and
- 12:48Speaker 2: fifty dollars win or lose. Must be twenty one or older.
- 12:50Speaker 2: See Caesars dot com slash promos.
- 12:53Speaker 3: For old terms.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Let's get the odds to win Super Bowl sixty. According
- 12:58Speaker 2: to our friends at Caesars, the Seahawks leading the way,
- 13:00Speaker 2: followed up by the Rams, then the Patriots and the
- 13:03Speaker 2: Bills and the Broncos. You want to get towards the
- 13:06Speaker 2: longer shots, the Bears and the forty nine ers.
- 13:08Speaker 3: As we get to some more player props. It's time
- 13:11Speaker 3: for more or less.
- 13:13Speaker 2: We will apply our foam fingers and we will discuss
- 13:16Speaker 2: this Niner Seahawks game. Cynthia, one and a half passing
- 13:20Speaker 2: touchdowns for Sam Darnold.
- 13:21Speaker 5: More or less you have more in that one, which
- 13:25Speaker 5: is two. I mean it's not a ridiculous number. I
- 13:27Speaker 5: understand there weren't a lot of touchdown scores in this game,
- 13:29Speaker 5: and I love your argument, Greg for a lower scoring game,
- 13:32Speaker 5: but I don't necessarily think that will be the case.
- 13:35Speaker 5: I also like, we got to bring him up because
- 13:38Speaker 5: you know aj Barner, the barn Dog. He's gonna be
- 13:41Speaker 5: really important in this one. Yet again, he always likes
- 13:44Speaker 5: to be that red zone area threat. I just think
- 13:46Speaker 5: Shorter passed in the red area. And also Jackson Smith
- 13:48Speaker 5: and Jigbo are breaking a deep pass, which is something
- 13:51Speaker 5: you can do against the Niners. They give up a
- 13:53Speaker 5: lot of yards too deep passes. So I don't know,
- 13:56Speaker 5: I'm going it says more or less whatever.
- 13:59Speaker 4: I love that you said you love my argument, and
- 14:01Speaker 4: then he just took up part of my argument and
- 14:03Speaker 4: totally disagree with that was the point. She doesn't love
- 14:06Speaker 4: the argument. No, Well, there's gonna be points.
- 14:08Speaker 2: She loved the argument because she feels like the argument
- 14:10Speaker 2: has a glass jaw.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah, she's Harrymakers. You've got a rock fight, Greg.
- 14:14Speaker 2: So let's put Christian McCaffery at fifty five and a
- 14:17Speaker 2: half rushing yards more or low.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I'm going less on this one because, look, he has
- 14:21Speaker 4: not been able to get going on the ground consistently
- 14:24Speaker 4: all year long. I don't think it's about him. I
- 14:26Speaker 4: think it's about the offensive line. I think it's about
- 14:27Speaker 4: the team that he's going against. I mean, look against
- 14:29Speaker 4: the Eagles, similarly tough last week, about three yards per Carrie.
- 14:33Speaker 4: This Seahawks front Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy. There's a
- 14:37Speaker 4: real case to be made that the two of them
- 14:41Speaker 4: could have just been the defensive tackle All Pros, maybe
- 14:43Speaker 4: second team. But those two guys next to each other
- 14:46Speaker 4: are the All Pros. And then you have DeMarcus Lawrence,
- 14:48Speaker 4: who's a great run stopping edge. Just so many tough
- 14:51Speaker 4: players up front. I think they overwhelm the forty nine
- 14:55Speaker 4: ers run game like they did a few weeks ago.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Yeah, run game.
- 14:57Speaker 2: That says you said, it's been overwhelmed all season by
- 15:00Speaker 2: a lot of folks.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It's a really good rush defense.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I'll go to Jackson Smith and Jibba at ninety three
- 15:05Speaker 2: receiving yards.
- 15:06Speaker 3: And I will go more here, more or less very binary.
- 15:09Speaker 3: So let's do some more math.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Me doing the math, which is very dangerous. He's got
- 15:14Speaker 2: oney seven hundred and ninety three receiving yards. Sam Donald
- 15:17Speaker 2: has four thousand and forty eight passing yards. That's forty
- 15:20Speaker 2: four percent of Sam Donald's passing yards in twenty twenty
- 15:24Speaker 2: five have gone to Jackson Smith and Jigbu. So with
- 15:26Speaker 2: that math, I think I think he hits the relatively
- 15:29Speaker 2: pedestrian by his standards number of ninety three. Let's go
- 15:32Speaker 2: back to Cynthia Freeland Well Brock perty have more or
- 15:35Speaker 2: less than two hundred and twenty nine passing yards.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Well, given my score is a little upsided, I think
- 15:41Speaker 5: it's more not because I think it's going to be
- 15:43Speaker 5: super deep passes. I don't even know exactly who it's
- 15:46Speaker 5: two because as the time of this recording, we don't
- 15:48Speaker 5: know if Ricky Piersoll is going to play. But we
- 15:49Speaker 5: did see those twenty plus air yarders. That is something, Greg,
- 15:52Speaker 5: Another great point you made, my friend, Oh wow, he
- 15:55Speaker 5: didn't complete one of them in the Week eighteen matchup.
- 15:58Speaker 5: But I do think he completes at least one in
- 16:00Speaker 5: this one, especially if they get Ricky piersonll back. Oh
- 16:02Speaker 5: rip to you know who George Kittle's season, because we
- 16:07Speaker 5: just saw him catch one of those deep passes. But
- 16:09Speaker 5: there are other guys to catch the ball, Tanjes Dick Tanjas.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I speaking of other guys that catch the ball.
- 16:13Speaker 2: These Sea Hawks went and got Rashid Shaheed at a
- 16:16Speaker 2: trade deadline, but the number is very low because he
- 16:18Speaker 2: hasn't done too much Greg twenty three receiving yards, what
- 16:21Speaker 2: do you think the speedy guy on the ear.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I love a Rashid Jaheed big play. He only needs
- 16:27Speaker 4: one catch to get over twenty three and a half
- 16:30Speaker 4: receiving yards against a team that doesn't provide a lot
- 16:33Speaker 4: of passsh pressure, and so that gives Sam Donald a
- 16:36Speaker 4: chance to do what he does best. I was looking
- 16:38Speaker 4: at some deep passing numbers for Drake May for this
- 16:41Speaker 4: very show. There's a spoiler alert, a tease for what's
- 16:44Speaker 4: coming later. Oh and you know who is maybe the
- 16:47Speaker 4: only quarterback who had a higher completion percentage on those
- 16:50Speaker 4: deep throws. Sam Donald. That's what he can do, and
- 16:53Speaker 4: Rashid Shahed among the all time NFL leaders in like
- 16:57Speaker 4: average length of touchdown when he gets the ball in
- 17:00Speaker 4: his hands, it usually is going for thirty or forty.
- 17:02Speaker 4: So if you want to feel alive on Saturday night,
- 17:05Speaker 4: you take this one. And it could happen at any
- 17:07Speaker 4: time in the game. You just see that ball just
- 17:10Speaker 4: floating through the air. Who is on the other side
- 17:12Speaker 4: of it, it's probably Shahed. If this is gonna be
- 17:14Speaker 4: alive till the final minutes of the game, even if
- 17:16Speaker 4: he has no catches.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yeah, there you are. You could be in pain for.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Four hours or all. It takes this one.
- 17:22Speaker 3: All you did, just one. I will take one. One more.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Juwan Jennings three and a half receptions. I will go
- 17:28Speaker 3: more here.
- 17:29Speaker 2: It doesn't have anything to do with catches, but he's
- 17:31Speaker 2: the only wide receiver in the history of the NFL
- 17:33Speaker 2: with multiple touchdown passes. There were also speaking of multiple
- 17:38Speaker 2: multiple times where Kyle Juschek was locked up outline. He
- 17:41Speaker 2: actually got a couple of targets there. They need Juwan Jennings,
- 17:44Speaker 2: So I think he's gonna get four catches in this one.
- 17:47Speaker 3: A great game which we are all looking forward.
- 17:50Speaker 4: To let it be known, Juwan Jennings more than three
- 17:53Speaker 4: and a half. Thank you, Thank you, Greg, give me
- 17:57Speaker 4: a reference. Shelby Harris is out there watching.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Also, Yes, there's deep beats between both of these teams.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Perhaps we'll get a great post game Seahawks Niners quote
- 18:10Speaker 2: once again right wing the extra tight end out there
- 18:14Speaker 2: with a play fake, drinking a deep drup slides to.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Touch up Patriots.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I'm talking about look at flakes, the tag foot cutter,
- 18:34Speaker 3: Henry on a little little fly.
- 18:36Speaker 5: Crop till upside and it's up with this play up.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Fos Zolak telling the radio audience to look at this
- 18:42Speaker 2: place never gets old. The Patriots playing host of the
- 18:44Speaker 2: Texans Sunday afternoon. Houston got their first road playoff win
- 18:48Speaker 2: in franchise history last week in Pittsburgh, but could be
- 18:51Speaker 2: without star receiver Nico Collins, who's in the concussion protocol
- 18:54Speaker 2: after that brutal collision with the turf coming last weekend.
- 18:58Speaker 3: How do you see this game going?
- 18:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's a really important loss for the
- 19:01Speaker 4: Texans that helped me to pick the Patriots. I have
- 19:04Speaker 4: the winning this game. I now see the numbers down
- 19:06Speaker 4: to three. There have the Texans thread that needle if
- 19:09Speaker 4: you catch my drift here. But either way, I like
- 19:11Speaker 4: the Patriots to win this game because Drake May throws
- 19:15Speaker 4: the ball deep better than anyone in the NFL. And
- 19:17Speaker 4: if there's one problem that this Texans secondary has had occasionally,
- 19:22Speaker 4: it's miscommunications giving up some big plays both their safeties.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Some of the cornerbacks not named Derek Stingley or usually
- 19:30Speaker 4: Kamari Lassiter gives up a big throw and look, Drake
- 19:33Speaker 4: May has the most yards per attempt while under pressure,
- 19:37Speaker 4: so many of them deep down the field to Kaishan Boody.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Sometimes it's the tight ends like Austin Hooper and Hunter
- 19:43Speaker 4: Henry most yards per attempt under pressure of any quarterback
- 19:46Speaker 4: in four years. So yeah, they're gonna win up front, Houston.
- 19:50Speaker 4: But Drake May is used to this. His pressure numbers
- 19:54Speaker 4: for a team that's this good is almost unheard of,
- 19:57Speaker 4: so he's had a whole regular season to get used
- 19:59Speaker 4: to being under pressure in delivery.
- 20:01Speaker 5: I love it. Well, you have them threw in the needle.
- 20:03Speaker 5: I two have Houston threading the needle. I of New
- 20:05Speaker 5: England winning twenty two to twenty in this matchup. I
- 20:08Speaker 5: want to highlight Hunter Henry here, because my whole practicy
- 20:12Speaker 5: for this game is whichever quarterback is willing to take
- 20:15Speaker 5: with the defense gives them best is the one that wins.
- 20:18Speaker 5: And what I've seen from Drake May is that you
- 20:20Speaker 5: talk about those deep balls. Those are wonderful. That's great
- 20:22Speaker 5: the defense does you know he's under pressure, we get it.
- 20:25Speaker 5: But he's also willing to make the second and third reads.
- 20:28Speaker 5: He's not forcing things downfield.
- 20:30Speaker 4: C J.
- 20:31Speaker 5: Stroud sometimes has a tendency to force things downfield without
- 20:34Speaker 5: Nico Collins. Even if there is no Christian Gonzales in
- 20:37Speaker 5: this matchup, it is still not a great idea to
- 20:40Speaker 5: force anything downfield against any defense, let alone the Patriots.
- 20:43Speaker 5: So I'm just saying, who's willing to leverage their tight
- 20:46Speaker 5: end better? Who's willing to leverage their second and third
- 20:48Speaker 5: read better? My Matt says easily, Drake May.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I'm with you, guys.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I think the Patriots score in the twenties, and that's
- 20:55Speaker 2: when I think the Houston Texans I'll score more.
- 20:57Speaker 3: I've got a two twenty three win. The Patriot's going
- 20:59Speaker 3: to score because that's what they do.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Drake May gets buckets. To get those buckets, he holds
- 21:03Speaker 2: onto the ball to when allows receivers to get downfield.
- 21:05Speaker 2: But the problem is when you're holding on to the ball,
- 21:09Speaker 2: you've got these long, fast edge rushers, including Daneil Hunter.
- 21:14Speaker 2: He and Anderson had fifty two percent of the team's pressures,
- 21:18Speaker 2: the second highest rate.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Since twenty eighteen. Going all the way back to twenty eighteen.
- 21:23Speaker 2: No duo has had the percentage of pressures and also
- 21:28Speaker 2: opportunities to get the ball out. We've assembled all of
- 21:30Speaker 2: these plays of Daneil Hunter having the quarterback fumble the ball.
- 21:34Speaker 2: We saw Drake made do that last week against the Chargers.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Now we've got the plus version of the Chargers defense
- 21:41Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five Houston Texans. So let's do some
- 21:44Speaker 2: math on this matchup. Cynthia, will c. J. Stroud throw
- 21:47Speaker 2: for more or less than two hundred and ten yards
- 21:49Speaker 2: against the Patriots defense.
- 21:50Speaker 5: I have around two hundred and thirty yards for him,
- 21:52Speaker 5: so that is more than two hundred and ten by
- 21:55Speaker 5: about ten percent there, so that's not a tiny amount. More.
- 21:59Speaker 5: I'm looking at the opportunity here to play from behind
- 22:02Speaker 5: and target some of those other receivers not named Nico Collins.
- 22:06Speaker 5: I'm looking at you Christian Kirk. I'm looking at the
- 22:08Speaker 5: opportunity there if there is no Christian Gonzales to make
- 22:12Speaker 5: use of that situation. So two hundred and thirty, don't
- 22:15Speaker 5: go crazy, But about two hundred and thirty, yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Speaking of looking for things, we were looking for the
- 22:19Speaker 2: Remandree doubters.
- 22:20Speaker 3: They're a lot more difficult to find.
- 22:22Speaker 2: But I means so Trevion hasn't had the opportunities is
- 22:24Speaker 2: to get more than thirty eight rushing.
- 22:26Speaker 4: I mean a lot of those doubters are in the
- 22:27Speaker 4: stands at Foxborough. They were booing him earlier this season.
- 22:31Speaker 4: This running game has really turned it around. I think
- 22:33Speaker 4: Travion Henderson goes over thirty eight and a half rushing yards.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Look Will Campbell, he might have trouble pass protecting him
- 22:42Speaker 4: and Jared Wilson on the left side of that line.
- 22:44Speaker 4: They are a dynamite, athletic run blocking group that's really improved.
- 22:48Speaker 4: I think it's the number one way the Patriots are
- 22:50Speaker 4: better now than they were earlier in the season. And
- 22:53Speaker 4: Travion Henderson maybe last week it was kind of an
- 22:56Speaker 4: ugly sort of game where you're beating up on a
- 22:59Speaker 4: lighter Chargers team. Today in this weekend's game. You need
- 23:02Speaker 4: some athleticism. That's Trevion Anderson with some plays down the field,
- 23:06Speaker 4: maybe just one big one.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Thirty nine yards. That's like a If you've watched this show,
- 23:10Speaker 5: we talk a lot about Blake Koram's numbers being kind
- 23:13Speaker 5: of ridiculously low. That's a Blake Korham number right there,
- 23:16Speaker 5: and I do.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Think they could be going back to speaking of numbers,
- 23:20Speaker 4: speaking numberrands should be a little worried because this man
- 23:24Speaker 4: right here is twenty one and twelve when he does straybah.
- 23:28Speaker 4: So you're on an island here with the Texans, but
- 23:30Speaker 4: you've been on fire when you're on your nine.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Well, that's regular season number. This is the second season. Okay,
- 23:35Speaker 3: it's an entirely different proposition.
- 23:37Speaker 6: Check to the left side numbers, snap back four man
- 23:40Speaker 6: rush caterble a double bof, drove down up.
- 23:43Speaker 5: Side like DJ Dords on the.
- 23:44Speaker 6: Five end zones, touchdown touchdown Bears. They've taken the lead
- 23:49Speaker 6: on the Packers. Now rolling r like moving up way
- 23:53Speaker 6: in the heat. Still moving up now we pros to
- 23:56Speaker 6: the end zone and it's drove cinder shops to drive by.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Don't matter.
- 23:59Speaker 6: Game is over, Game is over the Bears a cup
- 24:03Speaker 6: all the way behind, and they beat the green Backpackers
- 24:06Speaker 6: thirty one twenty sevens hell yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 3: To his first playoff win.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Good better, I never let it run.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Get better?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Better, get better?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Don't incredible comeback by the Bears and Ben Johnson's shirt
- 24:48Speaker 2: last week. Now they've got Matthew Stafford and the Rams
- 24:50Speaker 2: coming to town. The weather could get down to two
- 24:53Speaker 2: degrees on Sunday night. Do the Bears have any magic left, Cynthia?
- 24:57Speaker 5: I think I got magic. I just don't think they
- 24:59Speaker 5: win the game. I have the Rams winning twenty seven
- 25:01Speaker 5: to twenty one, a six point win for Matthew Stafford.
- 25:04Speaker 5: I loved watching how excited the Bears gotten there. Certainly
- 25:07Speaker 5: not out of it at any point, but they are
- 25:08Speaker 5: winning in low probability ways. When you're relying on fourth
- 25:11Speaker 5: and anything, that is a tough way to go. Where
- 25:14Speaker 5: is Matthew Stafford a guy who's your probable MVP tither
- 25:17Speaker 5: him or Drake May Why? Because all season long has
- 25:20Speaker 5: just been a model of consistency, consistently great, and in fact,
- 25:23Speaker 5: he's had a career of consistently great. He's also had
- 25:27Speaker 5: a lot of fourth quarter comebacks and they didn't all
- 25:29Speaker 5: happen in one season too. So when I'm looking at
- 25:31Speaker 5: the opportunity here, I'm talking about Matthew Stafford against the Blitz. Okay,
- 25:35Speaker 5: if they're going to try, it's not like the Bears
- 25:37Speaker 5: are getting a ton of pressure. Matthew Stafford figuring out
- 25:39Speaker 5: ways to get DeVante Adams and mismatches also seems like
- 25:43Speaker 5: a good idea. And then there's always pokin Akua, who
- 25:45Speaker 5: I didn't even mention. That's a huge, massive deal in
- 25:48Speaker 5: this matchup. Sorry, hythem. Our producer is a big Bears fan.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Well you didn't mention. And this is teamwork.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Well that's why, because I'll pick it up.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Look, the weather could be an equalizer, but pokin Akua
- 26:00Speaker 4: doesn't go down the field to make big yards. He
- 26:03Speaker 4: doesn't need to because he's gonna make you miss your tackle.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Twenty eight misstackles force on the season, leading the NFL.
- 26:11Speaker 4: How about four hundred yards after contact? That is the
- 26:15Speaker 4: most that Next Gen Stats has measured that since twenty eighteen.
- 26:19Speaker 4: How about the most yards in motion? The whole offense
- 26:23Speaker 4: is really built around Pookinakua in motion. It's the most
- 26:26Speaker 4: any receiver has had in terms of yardage wall in
- 26:30Speaker 4: motion of any guy in the next gen stats era,
- 26:34Speaker 4: There's literally never been anyone who's doing it like Pukinakua
- 26:38Speaker 4: is doing it right now. He is as dominant a
- 26:41Speaker 4: wide receiver force as you can possibly have. And then
- 26:43Speaker 4: you obviously add a great quarterback and good parts around him,
- 26:46Speaker 4: including DeVante Adams and those tight ends, and you can
- 26:49Speaker 4: build an offense on a guy that should work in
- 26:52Speaker 4: any weather, so that scores high. And I hear that
- 26:55Speaker 4: zero degrees and maybe the score should come down just
- 26:58Speaker 4: a little bit. But either way, I actually like the
- 27:00Speaker 4: Rams to win comfortably because I think if it gets
- 27:03Speaker 4: close and weird, that's where the Bears are dangerous. So
- 27:06Speaker 4: the way to pick the Rams to win is to
- 27:08Speaker 4: just make it easier.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Well, I think that the Bears are dangerous the whole time.
- 27:11Speaker 2: They've been able to make things close and weird, especially
- 27:14Speaker 2: with their ability to score.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I think they score, they score big.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I think the Rams get a small, a slight one
- 27:19Speaker 2: point when at home in a score fest. And here's
- 27:22Speaker 2: how it happens, because you look back last week at
- 27:25Speaker 2: this Rams secondary there were seven catches for sixty three
- 27:28Speaker 2: yards on targets that went in Quinton Lake's direction, and
- 27:31Speaker 2: it wasn't just him. The entire Rams secondary has some
- 27:35Speaker 2: size matchup issues.
- 27:37Speaker 3: That I think the Bears are able to exploit.
- 27:39Speaker 2: And I know the Bears have that score fest with
- 27:41Speaker 2: the run game playing spectacular against the forty nine ers,
- 27:45Speaker 2: but it was almost all through the air. I think
- 27:47Speaker 2: it could be a similar proposition and these teams going
- 27:50Speaker 2: up and down a cold field.
- 27:51Speaker 3: But yes, I did check.
- 27:52Speaker 2: The temperature is going to be ninety eight point six
- 27:55Speaker 2: on average inside the bodies of all the players taking part.
- 27:58Speaker 2: So I think the cold weather will be annoying for
- 28:00Speaker 2: everybody involved, but everybody will be hopefully. Okay, let's get
- 28:03Speaker 2: some play props between the Rams and the Bears. According
- 28:06Speaker 2: to our friends at Caesar's, Matthew Stafford sitting at two
- 28:08Speaker 2: and a half passing touchdowns ninety eight point five, one
- 28:12Speaker 2: below that average for Pooka Nakoa, Kyraen Williams at sixty
- 28:15Speaker 2: one and a half rushing yards, Caleb Williams at two
- 28:18Speaker 2: hundred and fifty one and a half total yards, and
- 28:20Speaker 2: Colston Lovelin at fifty five and a half receiving yards.
- 28:23Speaker 2: So let's go to this guy or that guy who
- 28:27Speaker 2: gets more than fifty five receiving yards in this game,
- 28:30Speaker 2: is a DeVante Adams or Colston Loveland's.
- 28:32Speaker 5: Look at it, Colston Loveland in this matchup. Note that's
- 28:35Speaker 5: not to say Devonte Adams will score, but he can
- 28:37Speaker 5: score off of like a two yard pass, so it
- 28:38Speaker 5: doesn't even matter on that. He'll still be very effective
- 28:40Speaker 5: and efficient. But Colston Loveland has taken that step forward.
- 28:43Speaker 5: You saw it against the Packers. He was the passing offense.
- 28:46Speaker 5: He was the number one, read the number two. He
- 28:49Speaker 5: was just basically everything that you know Sam Laporta was
- 28:52Speaker 5: to the Detroit offense at times when Ben Johnson was
- 28:55Speaker 5: architecting that. And now I think he's actually going to
- 28:57Speaker 5: even be better than Sam Laporta. Maybe not this you know,
- 29:00Speaker 5: particular game, but going forward kind of in hisjectory of
- 29:04Speaker 5: his career. So I'm looking at Loveland two again be
- 29:07Speaker 5: the path forward. And you mentioned some mismatches with size
- 29:10Speaker 5: to the secondary to the Rams Loveland two, so that's
- 29:14Speaker 5: a good And by the way, he's played in the
- 29:15Speaker 5: cold too, went to Michigan.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Yeah, there we go.
- 29:17Speaker 2: He's got experience with mul Timper sixty or more rushing
- 29:20Speaker 2: yards for Kyra Williams or DeAndre Swiftgregg.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Yes, but you have to choose this guy or that
- 29:26Speaker 4: guyes So I will go Kyra and Williams, I think
- 29:28Speaker 4: because I think they can be playing with the league.
- 29:31Speaker 4: They had one of the highest success rates in the
- 29:33Speaker 4: league in terms of team basis, and Kyrin Williams was
- 29:37Speaker 4: even higher than they were as a team on average.
- 29:39Speaker 4: These are actually two of the best running teams in
- 29:42Speaker 4: the league, and I think two defenses that are more
- 29:44Speaker 4: vulnerable on the ground as a defense than they even
- 29:47Speaker 4: are through the air. The difference is Kyron Williams against
- 29:51Speaker 4: this Bears team, like their success rate allowed was one
- 29:53Speaker 4: of the worst of any defenses in the league, whereas
- 29:56Speaker 4: the Rams are definitely better in terms of their run defense.
- 29:59Speaker 5: Karen Williams also played in Indiana, which is a state
- 30:01Speaker 5: over from Illinois.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Side there, they've got the cold weather gab. But now
- 30:06Speaker 4: he's been in a dome and he didn't get you.
- 30:08Speaker 4: But they played in Philadelphia playoffs.
- 30:11Speaker 5: I'm okay. I like to complain about the cold weather,
- 30:14Speaker 5: but like you knows, I'm still okay in cold weather.
- 30:16Speaker 2: And that's why you have a Texas quarterback that went
- 30:19Speaker 2: to Georgia, but did go to Michigan although he played inside,
- 30:22Speaker 2: does the cold weather adjacent magic powers and he is
- 30:26Speaker 2: one of the number one overall picks playing in this game.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I will discuss here more than thirty four passing attempts
- 30:31Speaker 2: in the game.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Stafford or Kayleb Williams. I will go Stafford.
- 30:34Speaker 2: I think they both hit that number as we all
- 30:38Speaker 2: have a relatively high scoring game. I've got the highest
- 30:41Speaker 2: scoring game here, but I think the Rams able to,
- 30:44Speaker 2: you know, get all of these drop backs, and not
- 30:46Speaker 2: necessarily that Ben Johnson doesn't trust Caleb Williams.
- 30:49Speaker 3: But if Matthew.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Stafford would like to pass the ball, I think Matthew
- 30:51Speaker 2: Stafford does, and Sean mcvayzon Rocket tell him that.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Hey, stop throwing the ball. Kyle's being great.
- 30:57Speaker 2: No, Stafford's gonna throw and get thirty four passing attempts
- 31:01Speaker 2: In what I think will be a score fest coming up,
- 31:04Speaker 2: We're running through all four divisional round.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Games and giving you our picks for who's gonna light
- 31:09Speaker 3: up the stat sheet.
- 31:10Speaker 2: We're talking yards on yards on yards in arguably the
- 31:14Speaker 2: best football weekend of the year.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Well yeah, because it's this weekend. Buckle up, we'll be
- 31:20Speaker 3: right back on game debut time for over under.
- 31:31Speaker 2: As we've reacquired our foam fingers, which were actually confiscated
- 31:34Speaker 2: earlier because we've played with them too much. We're gonna
- 31:36Speaker 2: put up some scenarios and let you know how we feel. First,
- 31:39Speaker 2: we'll Caleb and Stafford throw for over or under four
- 31:43Speaker 2: and a half combined touchdowns.
- 31:45Speaker 3: We already know.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I believe it's a score fest. I think they hit
- 31:48Speaker 2: that number.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Make it easy. Three for Stafford, two for Caleb, and
- 31:52Speaker 3: you're there, Drick.
- 31:53Speaker 4: You couldn't be more there. I mean, say no to
- 31:56Speaker 4: this would be like, oh, is Santa Claus gonna come
- 31:58Speaker 4: with presidents this year? Like who is rooting against them
- 32:01Speaker 4: throwing for a ton of yards two of the most
- 32:03Speaker 4: exciting quarterbacks in.
- 32:05Speaker 5: The NFL rooting for it? Or thinking that it's more
- 32:08Speaker 5: likely because I think it's more likely that they use
- 32:10Speaker 5: as passing touchdowns. The rushing touchdown numbers matter too, right,
- 32:15Speaker 5: So you're just gonna have six touchdowns. I think if
- 32:19Speaker 5: I go back to your score, it feels like, I
- 32:22Speaker 5: don't know, maybe you miss it in there, though, I'm
- 32:23Speaker 5: just saying some of them could be on the ground too.
- 32:25Speaker 4: It's okay, So she doesn't like presents for kids or
- 32:29Speaker 4: presence for us. On Sunday night.
- 32:31Speaker 2: My present was the accusation that Greg is not logically.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Consistent with his thoughts about next one.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I was like, what will there be more than six
- 32:39Speaker 2: and a half combined sacks in the Texans Patriots showdown?
- 32:43Speaker 2: I've got the over on that one, and it's not
- 32:47Speaker 2: to take a negative view.
- 32:48Speaker 3: I think we've got an.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Offensive line that had some issues in protection and a
- 32:52Speaker 2: quarterback that likes them takes some chances against a very
- 32:55Speaker 2: good pass rush.
- 32:56Speaker 3: I think they hit that number.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Yeah, Theise are two quarterbacks that have both taken a
- 33:00Speaker 4: lot of sacks in their young career, like Drake May
- 33:03Speaker 4: maybe that's his big weakness that in some forced almost
- 33:06Speaker 4: they're not often like long sacks. If you look at
- 33:09Speaker 4: the average length of Drake May sax, he's almost always
- 33:12Speaker 4: climbing up in the pocket. Then he'll just like duck
- 33:14Speaker 4: down and take a one or two yard lost. But
- 33:16Speaker 4: that counts for this total and as great as the
- 33:18Speaker 4: Texans pass rushes, and I am going over here, keep
- 33:22Speaker 4: an eye on Milton Williams and Kristen Barmore and all
- 33:25Speaker 4: their pressure and calebon Chase on. You got Harold Landry
- 33:28Speaker 4: out there. This is an underrated Patriots defensive line. And
- 33:32Speaker 4: you know what, we haven't heard a lot about the
- 33:33Speaker 4: last few weeks the Texans offensive line. Just what do
- 33:38Speaker 4: you think they've solved their problems? They're going to pop
- 33:40Speaker 4: up in a bad way this week.
- 33:42Speaker 5: Well, I'm just the grump over here, or maybe I'm
- 33:45Speaker 5: maybe I'm the happy one here because I don't know
- 33:47Speaker 5: if quarterbacks would like to be sacked. But I'm looking
- 33:49Speaker 5: at this and to me, it's because they play a
- 33:52Speaker 5: really good defense in practice. They have a lot of
- 33:55Speaker 5: quick solutions and quick answers to things. So I'm not
- 33:58Speaker 5: suggesting that there won't be a lot of pressure. I'm
- 34:00Speaker 5: just I'm looking at that sack number at seven, and
- 34:03Speaker 5: that is a high number. I could be correct with
- 34:05Speaker 5: just six sacks, just to.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Re fair, Yeah, and sit there is correct most of
- 34:10Speaker 2: the time. So when you get there last one, well,
- 34:13Speaker 2: Josh Allen came up and have more than thirty seven
- 34:15Speaker 2: rushing yards against the Denver Broncos.
- 34:18Speaker 3: That number feels low because it's Josh Allen.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I think if he's getting seven on a sneak, maybe
- 34:25Speaker 2: there's a couple scrambles in their fourth quarter run as
- 34:29Speaker 2: well designed run perhaps as they need him too correct
- 34:31Speaker 2: and I think.
- 34:32Speaker 3: He hits that number.
- 34:33Speaker 4: See I thought their regular running game with Ray Davis
- 34:36Speaker 4: and James Cook was going to be so good. I
- 34:39Speaker 4: actually went under for this one. I'm influenced a little
- 34:42Speaker 4: bit by the fact that Josh Allen went to the
- 34:44Speaker 4: medical tent last week for about four different injuries. Like
- 34:48Speaker 4: each time he went in like something else was wrong,
- 34:50Speaker 4: So maybe he won't need to run it as much.
- 34:53Speaker 4: It'll be about quality, not quantity. He goes like four
- 34:56Speaker 4: for thirty.
- 34:56Speaker 5: One mean make you yeah, I'm buying this all though,
- 35:01Speaker 5: to forty five yard This is the This is not
- 35:03Speaker 5: like a game where this is in Week eighteen, folks.
- 35:06Speaker 5: This is the divisional round. They want to go to
- 35:09Speaker 5: the opportunity to play in the AFC Championship Game. So
- 35:12Speaker 5: Josh Allen's likes have been one of the most consistent
- 35:14Speaker 5: things about this Bill's offense, just period, full stop. And
- 35:17Speaker 5: as good as the Broncos are at stopping the run,
- 35:19Speaker 5: they're a little bit more generous to quarterbacks when they
- 35:22Speaker 5: run against them. So I think, like I said, I'd
- 35:25Speaker 5: buy this up to forty five.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm with you. The idea that it's like, oh,
- 35:29Speaker 2: you know, let's say, John.
- 35:30Speaker 3: We don't need you to run Josh save in it.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Just you know, you've got James Cook to do everything
- 35:35Speaker 4: so far.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Let's leave that. We go to some quick picks here.
- 35:39Speaker 2: On game days, we took a total look, a summary
- 35:43Speaker 2: look at all the games this week.
- 35:44Speaker 3: He projects stat leaders. Starting with the quarterback.
- 35:46Speaker 2: We think that will pass for the most yards. Cynthia
- 35:50Speaker 2: and I like Matthew Stafford, but you're going off the
- 35:52Speaker 2: board here.
- 35:53Speaker 4: I am going off the board. I'm gonna be as
- 35:55Speaker 4: accurate throwing that thing as c J. Stroud will be
- 35:57Speaker 4: this weekend. Look.
- 35:59Speaker 5: C J.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Strout's coming off a game where everyone is criticizing him
- 36:03Speaker 4: because they couldn't get the shotgun snap right. I know
- 36:07Speaker 4: it's a weird butt, but the other snaps of the
- 36:10Speaker 4: game he looked good. And I do think of all
- 36:12Speaker 4: the defenses playing this weekend. You know, San Francisco certainly
- 36:16Speaker 4: has its vulnerabilities, but in the back end, I think
- 36:19Speaker 4: the Patriots, Carlton Davis could give up some big plays,
- 36:21Speaker 4: some of their safety play, their rookie Woodson could give
- 36:25Speaker 4: up big plays. I think they could be in a
- 36:26Speaker 4: situation where the Texans are coming back in this game,
- 36:29Speaker 4: and I actually think this could be a high yardage
- 36:32Speaker 4: game for CJ Stroud in a game where they can't
- 36:34Speaker 4: get it going on the ground.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Is this with or without Nico Collins? Like, do you need?
- 36:38Speaker 4: Is there an asterisk like Nico Collins to miss this game?
- 36:41Speaker 4: I'm actually serious Kristin Gonzales to play this game based
- 36:45Speaker 4: on him being at practice, just just scarious. CJ is
- 36:48Speaker 4: going to show everyone that.
- 36:50Speaker 5: He doesn't need his wide out one and he could
- 36:52Speaker 5: throw for all the yards.
- 36:53Speaker 4: I mean a couple of years ago he kind of
- 36:55Speaker 4: was the drake me that the next like guy, I
- 36:58Speaker 4: think he'll have a good game.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Yeah, the highlight package there did prominently feature Nico Collins
- 37:03Speaker 2: again our best yes number one. Why now, whether it's
- 37:06Speaker 2: not the plays great season for Miko Collins. Looking back
- 37:10Speaker 2: at the running backs who we think will run for
- 37:12Speaker 2: the most yards this round, Greg and I think it's
- 37:14Speaker 2: James Cook, But simply you're also going off the board.
- 37:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna go with Woody Marks here kind of
- 37:19Speaker 5: for the reason that the opposite reason of you, because
- 37:22Speaker 5: I'm not given DJ Shroud time to get mauled by
- 37:26Speaker 5: that defensive front that you talked about for the sacks.
- 37:29Speaker 5: And also we saw Woody Marx have kind of a
- 37:32Speaker 5: take a pretty big step forward in this being able
- 37:34Speaker 5: to get like explosive runs there against the Steelers. Now,
- 37:37Speaker 5: I understand is a little bit different when you're playing
- 37:40Speaker 5: the Patriots defense. However, I just think they're going to
- 37:44Speaker 5: want to keep it in a ball control mode, let
- 37:46Speaker 5: their defense win the game. How do you do that? Well,
- 37:49Speaker 5: you shorter passes, you use Woody Marx, and I think
- 37:52Speaker 5: that he could have the opportunity to really just have
- 37:54Speaker 5: the most yards as you know, of all, you're just
- 37:57Speaker 5: asking you one question, who's out the most yards?
- 37:59Speaker 4: Nothing like having a career high for the rookie in a.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Playoff Yeah, you're first playoff game water performance from Windy
- 38:06Speaker 2: marks last one. Who's gonna be the top receiver this weekend?
- 38:09Speaker 2: Greg's going with JSN, but Cynthia and I are going with.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Puka and Nikula.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Everything to do with what I finel will be an
- 38:16Speaker 2: electrifying game script for both teams.
- 38:17Speaker 3: I think they're gonna be going up and down.
- 38:19Speaker 2: The field and who's gonna have the most receiving yards.
- 38:22Speaker 3: In a game that's going up and down the field
- 38:24Speaker 3: with the Rams playing, probably Puka Nakula.
- 38:27Speaker 2: So, Cynthia, I think Pooka has a shot to have
- 38:29Speaker 2: a decent game, you know, just.
- 38:30Speaker 5: A decent game. We're only he only has like a
- 38:33Speaker 5: few decent games this season, just kidding, just so you
- 38:36Speaker 5: have it. I have both Puka and Jackson Smith in
- 38:38Speaker 5: Jigba with over one hundred yards, so it's not like
- 38:42Speaker 5: you're picking between one and three here, it's one A
- 38:45Speaker 5: and one B.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Also, I feel like Puka has now spent a month
- 38:48Speaker 4: in my mental penalty box after appearing to ruin their
- 38:52Speaker 4: season by getting on a live stream that he regretted.
- 38:55Speaker 4: Since then, they've won a playoff game, He's had monster performances.
- 38:59Speaker 4: I can no longer punish him for what happened. He's
- 39:02Speaker 4: making it happen on the field.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Yes, and hopefully that regret was with regards to the
- 39:06Speaker 2: decisions and not people talking about, uh the decision.
- 39:09Speaker 3: When we come back, get a pin and a pad.
- 39:11Speaker 2: It is time to write this down. We are dishing
- 39:14Speaker 2: out our juiciest player.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Rocks off the wig, Cynth.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I wasn't ready for reducing the and I nailed ours
- 39:21Speaker 2: last week.
- 39:22Speaker 3: We can't be stopped. Step it up, Greg, you got
- 39:25Speaker 3: some playoff catching up to do.
- 39:26Speaker 2: We'll be back here in a few on game dot.
- 39:28Speaker 2: You time to write this down. Let's get to some
- 39:38Speaker 2: prop prediction for the divisional round. Kick it off for
- 39:41Speaker 2: a screg What should the people take note?
- 39:43Speaker 4: Oh, they should always be taking note of Booty. I
- 39:45Speaker 4: mean you called me out and I'm gonna respond in kind.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Kaish On Booty over thirty one and a half receiving
- 39:52Speaker 4: yards against the Texans. Do you remember back last season's
- 39:56Speaker 4: Kashan Booty taking Derek Stingley Junior deep in Drake Bay's
- 40:00Speaker 4: first ever start. Remember like, oh, oh, they can't start
- 40:03Speaker 4: Draking that's not fair against his first NFL start against
- 40:06Speaker 4: the Texans, Stephens, that's not fair. You can't bring him out.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Then all he did was light him up in the loss,
- 40:11Speaker 4: but looked pretty good and he helped Kaisean Boody beat
- 40:15Speaker 4: an all pro down the field. He's gonna do it again.
- 40:18Speaker 5: I loved her. Who are your personally?
- 40:19Speaker 1: Oh?
- 40:19Speaker 4: All the people that week where it's like, oh, that's mismanagement,
- 40:22Speaker 4: that's cruel to play a rookie against the Texans for
- 40:25Speaker 4: the first time, and it was the day I knew
- 40:27Speaker 4: Drake May would be the truth.
- 40:29Speaker 5: I like that you wagged your finger at us, and
- 40:30Speaker 5: I'll wag our finger at Blake Koram having at least
- 40:33Speaker 5: forty four rushing yards until the number catches up. I'm
- 40:36Speaker 5: just gonna keep going back to the Blake Korum well
- 40:38Speaker 5: and hit me well last weekend. For whatever reason, the
- 40:41Speaker 5: market doesn't like to adjust for his usage because we
- 40:44Speaker 5: talked about how explosive he is. We talked about the
- 40:46Speaker 5: opportunity against the Bears, all of those things, and yet
- 40:48Speaker 5: still the number is criminally low.
- 40:51Speaker 2: I'm looking at another low number because Greg was talking
- 40:54Speaker 2: about the twenty three All you need is one catch
- 40:57Speaker 2: for Rashid Shahed in that game. I'm looking over at
- 41:00Speaker 2: r J Harvey. The number is eighteen and a half
- 41:02Speaker 2: receiving yards against the Bills. Last week I had Etn
- 41:06Speaker 2: hit his number.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Almost through midway through the first quarter. I think r J.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Harvey gets there early as well.
- 41:11Speaker 5: Surrey don't want to switch over to the Bronco sage
- 41:14Speaker 5: with me.
- 41:15Speaker 3: I may I reserve.
- 41:17Speaker 4: The show is ending intent.
- 41:21Speaker 2: People with the knowledge that I may switch my pick
- 41:23Speaker 2: for Greg Girls Dolls, hit the freelan On, Patrick Claybon.
