- 0:00Speaker 1: Are well. Bill O'Reilly for decades, the number one TV anchor,

- 0:08Speaker 1: on Earth. In fact, you should get his latest book,
- 0:10Speaker 1: Confronting Evil. Powerful book, and you can see his TV show.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Get the column. Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill
- 0:18Speaker 1: O'Reilly dot com. Oh, and make sure you watch the
- 0:20Speaker 1: YouTube channel. He's got great stuff there. Bill O'Reilly on YouTube.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly, How you doing.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I I'm in top mark you Ben.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I'm good. So State of the Union tonight? What does
- 0:31Speaker 1: the president need to do?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Gy? I present a positive picture of the country. So
- 0:41Speaker 2: mister Trump often dwells on the negative. Obviously, he's got
- 0:44Speaker 2: a Supreme Court decision he doesn't like. We kind of
- 0:49Speaker 2: overlook that other than to say, we believe that this
- 0:54Speaker 2: is strong for the country, these tariffs and now we're
- 0:57Speaker 2: gonna change a little bit, but we still have this
- 1:01Speaker 2: amount of money coming in, and you know, overwhelm the
- 1:05Speaker 2: audience with facts, but keep it essentially positive. That's what
- 1:10Speaker 2: he has to do.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, Democrats have a new tradition of embarrassing themselves
- 1:15Speaker 1: as State of the Unions with booing and stuff like that.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Now there's a roomor they're going to walk out tonight.
- 1:21Speaker 1: What do you think the Democrats will do?
- 1:23Speaker 2: I don't think so, because the leadership doesn't want that.
- 1:28Speaker 2: So the real far far left Democrats aren't even showing
- 1:33Speaker 2: up at all. They're having their own State of the
- 1:36Speaker 2: Union on the mall, which no one will attend except
- 1:40Speaker 2: the bust and people who are paid. And here's an
- 1:43Speaker 2: interesting aside for wo R listeners. The people who are
- 1:48Speaker 2: not attending, and you can get their names on the internet.
- 1:51Speaker 2: The House members, the senators aren't doing this, but they
- 1:57Speaker 2: are all beholden to far left money, which means they
- 2:02Speaker 2: run every two years and their campaigns are financed by
- 2:08Speaker 2: the sources of the world. The real radical fringe elements
- 2:12Speaker 2: pump tens of millions of dollars into these campaigns. If
- 2:18Speaker 2: these people don't do what their radical masters tell them
- 2:22Speaker 2: to do, they get cut off from the money. Most
- 2:26Speaker 2: people don't know that that it's a money game. So
- 2:31Speaker 2: the ones that aren't going to be there, and those
- 2:33Speaker 2: are the ones that would walk out or scream and yell,
- 2:36Speaker 2: they'll be in another separate thing, which of course will
- 2:40Speaker 2: have no impact at all.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so aren't they kind of helping the president by
- 2:45Speaker 1: getting all the Adam Shift angry nutjobs out of the
- 2:48Speaker 1: out of the audience of the speech.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It Yeah, it does st and why would Trump want
- 2:58Speaker 2: him there? You know, whatever Trump does, Shift and his
- 3:02Speaker 2: ilk are gonna condemn it, says it bothers me about
- 3:06Speaker 2: ideologues and far left is obviously the problem in the
- 3:11Speaker 2: country right now. Far right doesn't have any organization, no cohesiveness.
- 3:16Speaker 2: There are a bunch of people running around, but they
- 3:18Speaker 2: don't have any organization that, for example, can get into
- 3:24Speaker 2: the media with propaganda, whereas a far left has all that.
- 3:29Speaker 2: But if you're an ideologue, no matter what the other
- 3:33Speaker 2: side does, you're gonna condemn it. And that's not healthy.
- 3:37Speaker 2: It's not healthy for you, and it's not healthy for
- 3:39Speaker 2: the country.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, the Olympic hockey players there tonight. That'll be
- 3:46Speaker 1: a big thing, won't it.
- 3:48Speaker 2: It will be in The story about the women's hockey
- 3:50Speaker 2: team is really not being reported accurately. Now I did it. Yeah,
- 3:55Speaker 2: yesterday when the announcement came out from the women's hockey
- 3:59Speaker 2: team that they would not be attending the State of
- 4:02Speaker 2: the Union despite being invited. Now, it wasn't a belligerent
- 4:06Speaker 2: press release they said, oh, thank you, and we feel
- 4:10Speaker 2: honored that we're invited, but we're not showing up. There's
- 4:13Speaker 2: no reason for them not to show up. It's not
- 4:17Speaker 2: like they have another event. They don't. Now, there are
- 4:20Speaker 2: particular women that are playing in professional games, but the
- 4:24Speaker 2: men's side has that too. So the fair way and
- 4:29Speaker 2: patriotic way to do it would be for the leadership
- 4:33Speaker 2: of the women's team to say, hey, ladies, if you
- 4:36Speaker 2: want to go, go, if you can fit it into
- 4:39Speaker 2: your schedule, go on up. That's what the men's team did.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But there's a difference in culture. The women's sports in
- 4:49Speaker 2: America are very infiltrated with the left. We saw that
- 4:53Speaker 2: with the crazy women's soccer team member that Rappino and
- 4:56Speaker 2: all those people. Well that persists, whereas that's not on
- 5:02Speaker 2: the men's side. So the men hockey team is not
- 5:05Speaker 2: the NBA. And it's a very interesting story because you're
- 5:11Speaker 2: not getting why the women are doing what they're doing.
- 5:15Speaker 2: There is a political I believe there is a political
- 5:20Speaker 2: component to it.
- 5:22Speaker 1: No interesting, Hey Bill O'Reilly Gavin Newsom, how badly did
- 5:27Speaker 1: he damage himself this week?
- 5:29Speaker 2: Not at all really, And it's another example of ideology
- 5:33Speaker 2: gone out of control. But Newsom said was totally innocent,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and I wrote a message of the Daria Tom Bill
- 5:42Speaker 2: O'Reilly dot com. And all he was trying to do
- 5:46Speaker 2: is saying, I'm a regular guy. I had my problems
- 5:49Speaker 2: in school. I'm not some elite guy. That's all he
- 5:52Speaker 2: was trying to say. And anybody who read the interview,
- 5:57Speaker 2: which I did, knows that. But of course the opposition
- 6:03Speaker 2: to Newsom wants to demon I him and now call
- 6:07Speaker 2: him a racist, which is absurd. There's enough stuff to
- 6:11Speaker 2: get Newsome on legitimate stuff without doing this kind of stuff.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And usually this happens liberals do it against conservatives. It's
- 6:23Speaker 2: very very rare that the converse. And when I saw
- 6:28Speaker 2: that yesterday, I went, come on. Everybody knows what he
- 6:31Speaker 2: was trying to say. There was no malice in his remarks,
- 6:34Speaker 2: and it's my job to report honestly. So I am.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I disagree slightly. And the first of all, that whole thing,
- 6:40Speaker 1: I'm not an elite guy. He is an elite guy.
- 6:42Speaker 1: He's a very elitist sort of a guy.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Okay, and that's that's legitimate. He's trying to pass himself
- 6:47Speaker 2: off as one of the folks. When he's not one
- 6:49Speaker 2: of the folks. No problem with that. But you don't
- 6:52Speaker 2: think that Gavin Newsom's are racist to you?
- 6:55Speaker 1: I don't think these are racist. I think Democrats get
- 6:58Speaker 1: into this pandering kind of talking. They don't realize what
- 7:00Speaker 1: the hell they're saying. Half the time. It comes out
- 7:03Speaker 1: awkwardly when they say it. It doesn't sound great when
- 7:06Speaker 1: they say it.
- 7:07Speaker 2: But that's just that may be true. But I've been
- 7:12Speaker 2: accused when I made some remarks over my career of
- 7:16Speaker 2: being a racist, and I'm going it's ridiculous. So I
- 7:21Speaker 2: don't like that label, and I don't like when anybody
- 7:25Speaker 2: uses it unless you had the facts to back it up.
- 7:29Speaker 2: And clearly Newsom was not trying to denigrate black people.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, but he is. I was talking with
- 7:38Speaker 1: this before. If you're the historian, every president's election, there's
- 7:42Speaker 1: always some pretty boy who comes way out in front
- 7:44Speaker 1: two years out of Gary Hart or John Edwards, but
- 7:49Speaker 1: that one always fizzles. They never end up being the nominee.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You think that'll happen with nwsoen.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Newsom's up against a very weak field establishment person is
- 8:06Speaker 2: polling well, I mean, you got Kloba shar She'll run.
- 8:11Speaker 2: She's running for governor Minnesota. She'll win, and then she'll
- 8:14Speaker 2: run for president. You got Brashier in Kentucky, Shapiro in Pennsylvania.
- 8:24Speaker 2: These are not strong candidates. People don't know they are.
- 8:29Speaker 2: So everybody knows Newsome. He's got name recognition. But he
- 8:33Speaker 2: has absolutely destroyed the state of California. So anybody with
- 8:38Speaker 2: an IQ over fifty would go if he destroyed the
- 8:41Speaker 2: state of California, wouldn't he destroyed the United States and
- 8:44Speaker 2: the answers, Yeah, he would. That's not a tough one.
- 8:49Speaker 2: So but he you don't count him out. I spent
- 8:55Speaker 2: some time with him a few weeks ago at Super
- 8:57Speaker 2: Bowl weekend in San Francisco. The very slick guy, a
- 9:02Speaker 2: good campaigner. He's gonna have a lot of money, so
- 9:05Speaker 2: I wouldn't count him out.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Okay, but you know how to read people. When you
- 9:08Speaker 1: were with him, did you think to yourself, this is
- 9:09Speaker 1: a very sincere guy I'm talking.
- 9:11Speaker 2: To Okay, as an interesting question, Simone. Simone's giving me
- 9:19Speaker 2: a workout today.
- 9:20Speaker 1: All right, you don't have to answer.
- 9:22Speaker 2: No, No, I am going to answer because I never
- 9:24Speaker 2: dodge questions. Two tracks. He was sincere in basically having
- 9:32Speaker 2: a conversation with me about the state of San Francisco. Okay,
- 9:40Speaker 2: because I was out there and I'm going to do
- 9:42Speaker 2: a special news nation about the collapse of the city.
- 9:45Speaker 2: He lives outside the city. He does not live in
- 9:49Speaker 2: San Francisco. I did not know that. He keeps that
- 9:52Speaker 2: very quiet in the conversation. He didn't dodge. It was
- 9:57Speaker 2: a good conversation. Sincerity might have occurred because he needs
- 10:03Speaker 2: me and he knows it. So I have a very
- 10:08Speaker 2: strong national voice. He doesn't want me to condemn him.
- 10:14Speaker 2: So there was that kind of manipulative thing. But I
- 10:19Speaker 2: enjoyed the conversation with him. He invited me on his
- 10:21Speaker 2: podcast and I accept it, and that'll be on in
- 10:24Speaker 2: the fall, and if he carries through, that'll be an event.
- 10:27Speaker 1: That'll be interesting. Well, everybody watch Bill O'Reilly. You can
