#225: A T1D's Wish - Emily Melendez
In todays episode, I sat down with Emily Melendez a 27 year old T1D. Emily was diagnosed at the age of 14 years old about 13 years. She works at a restaurant on Long Island in NY as a bartender and server and eventually want to end up working with other diabetics to live a healthy life. We spoke about her time as a diabetic reflecting on the challenges she faced and where she is now in her life.
