Roofer Arrested in Burgundy Murder | France News
A roofer in Burgundy, France, has been arrested in connection with the suspected murder of a 78-year-old British man, Gilwyn James, whose body was found with blunt force trauma to the head. The suspect, Jean-Pierre, had recently worked on James’s property—including an unfinished barn roof—and was already under investigation after James filed legal action over the incomplete repairs. Authorities are still gathering evidence, no charges have been filed, and the case underscores how unresolved disputes over home maintenance can spiral into deadly consequences.
