• 0:02
SPEAKER_03: I feel really good this week.
• 0:05
SPEAKER_03: I feel excellent this week.
• 0:07
  SPEAKER_03: And that's a good feeling.
• 0:09
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because it's it's so uncommon.
• 0:11
SPEAKER_03: We're under so much um it's almost like we're under attack.
• 0:13
SPEAKER_03: Somebody put on Facebook um that we are living an ongoing episode of the Twilight Zone.
• 0:20
SPEAKER_03: Do you remember that show?
• 0:21
SPEAKER_03: Are you old enough to remember?
• 0:22
SPEAKER_05: Yes, I'm old enough to remember, and I agree.
• 0:25
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's weird.
• 0:26
SPEAKER_03: The um the thing is, there's a big spiritual, this is my opinion.
• 0:32
  SPEAKER_03: This is my opinion.
• 0:33
SPEAKER_03: There's a big spiritual movement in the country, it seems.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_03: And it's not uh it's not a Jesus thing.
• 0:40
  SPEAKER_03: No, we're Jesus people.
• 0:42
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 0:42
  SPEAKER_03: Okay, unapologetically.
• 0:45
SPEAKER_03: If you listen to this podcast, that's what we're about, and and we're gonna talk about Jesus a lot in this episode.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_03: So if that's not what you uh what you want, I get that, but that's uh not going to change.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_03: So um but um as my mom used to say, you can like it or lump it, whatever that means.
• 1:02
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what is lumping it?
• 1:03
  SPEAKER_05: Who knows?
• 1:04
SPEAKER_03: But uh, but you had a you had a super uh super long week, and we're gonna get to the spiritual uh stuff.
• 1:09
SPEAKER_03: I brought that up for a reason.
• 1:10
SPEAKER_03: I have a fantastic interview with um a lady named Jacques J A C, Marina Chen is her name, and she was involved in the heavily, heavily involved in the occult, and she worked in Hollywood in the music business.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_03: And I'm going to ask a question in a little bit in the show, uh, on the show.
• 1:31
  SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna ask a question.
• 1:32
SPEAKER_03: If an artist, a music artist that you love, let's say you got all of her tracks on your on your playlist, you find out that this person is a um Satan follower, a Satan worshiper, a devil worshiper, right?
• 1:48
SPEAKER_03: Would you still listen to the music?
• 1:49
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 1:50
SPEAKER_03: Would you still tune in?
• 1:51
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_03: What about your favorite actor?
• 1:53
  SPEAKER_03: You've been a fan forever.
• 1:54
SPEAKER_03: You find out he is a Luciferian involved in the occult someway.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_03: Do you go see the movies?
• 1:59
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 2:00
  SPEAKER_03: You're certain about that.
• 2:01
  SPEAKER_05: Yes, if I know.
• 2:03
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, if you know, yeah, if they're open about it.
• 2:05
  SPEAKER_05: No, I can't.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_03: What if you find out your favorite sports guy?
• 2:09
  SPEAKER_03: I hate sports.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_03: Your favorite, I don't know, Bronco Buster.
• 2:12
  SPEAKER_03: What do you do?
• 2:13
SPEAKER_03: What do you well you like the rodeo?
• 2:14
SPEAKER_05: You like I love the rodeo.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so let's say your favorite horse rider or horse wrestler.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_05: These aren't the kind of people that do that.
• 2:21
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_03: Part of the reason I ask, if you look at the Grammys and you look at the uh music awards shows generally, it just seems like there's a lot of very uh questionable symbolism.
• 2:31
SPEAKER_03: Remember when Sam Remember when Sam Harris came out and he came out wearing a red devil ounce that like his hat had horns on it, and all that stuff.
• 2:40
SPEAKER_05: That's kind of obvious symbolism.
• 2:41
SPEAKER_03: I wonder, maybe that's part of the question.
• 2:43
SPEAKER_03: Is that obvious to everybody?
• 2:45
SPEAKER_05: No, because most people will say, Well, that's his art.
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_05: He's just expressing himself.
• 2:50
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_03: So this so this lady, we're going to listen to her interview on this podcast.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_03: She came out of that.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_03: She came out of out of Hollywood, she came out of the music business, and there's a lot of mention in this interview with her about the hand over one eye.
• 3:05
SPEAKER_03: Do you notice this on magazine covers and music videos?
• 3:08
  SPEAKER_03: People covering one eye.
• 3:09
  SPEAKER_05: Now I do.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_03: The award shows, you see people with pyramids behind them.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_03: Uh, you see a bunch of what looks like rituals.
• 3:15
SPEAKER_03: So, again, this interview is going to talk about this stuff, including uh she mentions the masons uh a few times.
• 3:23
  SPEAKER_03: And that's uh that's another thing.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_03: And and I had an interesting thing happen that makes the the Masons very curious for me.
• 3:30
  SPEAKER_03: I've read a few books.
• 3:31
SPEAKER_05: I've known a lot of people who are in the Masons.
• 3:34
SPEAKER_03: When I was um a young man, I was probably I was probably a teenager.
• 3:38
SPEAKER_03: It comes up in a conversation.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_03: We're driving down the street.
• 3:41
SPEAKER_03: I remember this very clearly.
• 3:42
  SPEAKER_05: How old were you?
• 3:43
  SPEAKER_03: 14, 15, 16.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_03: This comes up in a conversation, and I asked him about it.
• 3:47
SPEAKER_03: I said, Well, tell me about it.
• 3:48
  SPEAKER_03: And he says, I can't.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_03: Well, Pop, I called him Pop.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_03: I said, Pop, what do you mean you can't?
• 3:53
  SPEAKER_03: He says, I can't discuss it.
• 3:55
SPEAKER_03: I can't tell you anything about it.
• 3:57
  SPEAKER_03: I said, Why?
• 3:58
  SPEAKER_03: I said, but I'm your son.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_03: I said, uh certainly you can tell me.
• 4:02
  SPEAKER_03: And he said, nope.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_03: And then he said something, if if I remember correctly, about getting your tongue cut out of your skull, if you tell anything about so I I was I remember just being a little hurt, a little disappointed that he couldn't discuss it with me.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_05: I know someone who got divorced about it.
• 4:22
  SPEAKER_03: Are you serious?
• 4:24
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_05: Her husband was a Mason, and he would not discuss it with her.
• 4:31
SPEAKER_05: And she felt like that it's a secret between us.
• 4:34
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, we don't we're married, we're one, we don't keep secrets.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_05: And if you can't, if you have to keep a secret from me, I'm not the person you need to be married to.
• 4:43
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_03: Well, that's gonna be part of the content of this interview.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_03: It's a very interesting podcast about the symbolism in our culture and what's behind it.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_03: The Don can Powered by Hammock Solutions.
• 5:00
  SPEAKER_03: Lufkin, Texas, USA.
• 5:03
SPEAKER_04: I started Hammock Solutions inside of a small incubator back in 2022.
• 5:07
SPEAKER_04: If somebody calls and has a virus or something like that, they can get it removed, or if I need data restoration or anything like that.
• 5:13
SPEAKER_03: You went to our page.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_03: Did you start to weep, or what was your response?
• 5:16
SPEAKER_04: I did notice a few issues that needed to be fixed.
• 5:19
SPEAKER_04: Your copyright on the bottom of the screen was kind of over some objects, so I kind of fixed that.
• 5:24
SPEAKER_04: I added an archive page and kind of build it up a little bit.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_04: Most of my business if it has to do with software, anything that can be done remotely, I'll typically do it remotely.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_03: How can someone get a hold of you if they have an issue that you can fix with them?
• 5:35
SPEAKER_04: They can find us on Facebook under Hammock Solutions.
• 5:38

• 5:45
SPEAKER_03: Hammock Solutions, technical solution for the Doc and Carolyn podcast.
• 5:50
  SPEAKER_03: I mentioned this.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_03: Listen, it sounds like a rock.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_03: So I'm I'm on Facebook and I and this commercial comes on for uh spicy crab deliciousness, right?
• 6:04
SPEAKER_03: It's like a chip, but it's you see it.
• 6:06
SPEAKER_03: What can you describe it?
• 6:07
SPEAKER_03: What would you say this looks like?
• 6:08
SPEAKER_05: What is it looks like a lump of I don't know, but it looks like it's coated in something sweet and sticky.
• 6:16
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so let's go through the ingredients.
• 6:18
  SPEAKER_03: This is important.
• 6:19
SPEAKER_03: This is what you do as a as a functional medicine practitioner when you're dealing with your patients.
• 6:24
SPEAKER_03: They this and this is something if you're really trying to be healthy and not trying, if you're being healthy and you see something delicious on Facebook, let this be a cautionary tale.
• 6:35
  SPEAKER_03: Don't do what I did.
• 6:36
SPEAKER_03: I was looking at this commercial, my mouth started watering.
• 6:40
SPEAKER_05: Well, they made it look so delicious.
• 6:41
SPEAKER_03: I know, I because I showed you the commercial, right?
• 6:43
SPEAKER_03: And uh so I ordered it, it was like 50 bucks.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_03: I mean, by the time you include shipping, you know, 50 bucks or so.
• 6:49
  SPEAKER_03: So here it is.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_03: So on the ingredient list, and I I read this somewhere, uh, somebody talking about healthy stuff said, if in either one or two of the first few ingredients is sugar, avoid it completely.
• 7:04
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, for sure.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_03: So on this one, uh, ingredient number one is malt syrup.
• 7:11
  SPEAKER_05: No, that's not good.
• 7:13
  SPEAKER_05: That's another sugar.
• 7:14
SPEAKER_03: And then it says white sugar.
• 7:17
  SPEAKER_05: That's another sugar.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_03: And then it says maltodextrin.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_05: That is not a sugar, but it does it's a starch and it does spike your glucose.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_03: Okay, going down the ingredient list for my delicious crab concoction.
• 7:33
SPEAKER_05: Oh, that one the maltodextrin also hurts your gut microbiome.
• 7:40
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 7:41
SPEAKER_03: Uh, what about uh MSG?
• 7:43
  SPEAKER_03: Motosodium glutamine.
• 7:45
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that one's bad.
• 7:47
SPEAKER_05: Um so that one can cause headache, sweating, flushing, numbness, heart palpitations.
• 7:53
SPEAKER_05: The thing about um MSG is you have glutamate in your body, and that's what that there's it mimics the glutamate in your body?
• 8:06
SPEAKER_05: No, no, there it's actually like the glutamate the same as the glutamate in your body, but you have GABA and glutamate and they have to balance.
• 8:16
  SPEAKER_05: GABA.
• 8:17
SPEAKER_05: GABA and glutamate, and they have to balance.
• 8:21
SPEAKER_05: And the glutamate is excitatory to your brain, and GABA is calming to your brain.
• 8:29
SPEAKER_05: Oh so when you eat a bunch of glutamate, that's why you have all those symptoms because the GABA isn't it's out of balance.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_05: So the GABA So what is that?
• 8:41
SPEAKER_03: So will that be a feeling like you don't feel well, type of kind of out of balance in that way?
• 8:46
  SPEAKER_05: It's all the things I said.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_05: It can cause headaches, sweating, flushing.
• 8:50
SPEAKER_05: Oh you know, like like you're having a lot of anxiety.
• 8:54
SPEAKER_03: Okay, what about uh this other one says a food additive called sorbitol?
• 8:59
  SPEAKER_05: That's a sugar alcohol.
• 9:01
  SPEAKER_03: Another sugar?
• 9:02
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's a sugar alcohol.
• 9:04
SPEAKER_05: Those sugar alcohols are what people eat when they're trying to have no sugar because it doesn't supposedly it doesn't spike your glucose and it has no calories, but it does a number on your belly can cause really bad diarrhea.
• 9:25
  unknown: Gosh.
• 9:26
SPEAKER_03: And I or and I paid 50 bucks for this, really?
• 9:29
  SPEAKER_05: Yes, you did.
• 9:29
SPEAKER_03: Well, it's a nice little paperweight here from my desk.
• 9:33
  SPEAKER_03: It's horrible.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_03: All right, we're gonna take a break.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_03: Uh, we have a couple of things to do.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_03: We got Kimberly Blake's coming up with her Kingdom Minute, and we're going to get to this.
• 9:41
SPEAKER_03: I think you're going to find it fascinating.
• 9:45
SPEAKER_03: Um, what's going on behind the scenes in music?
• 9:49
SPEAKER_03: And here's here's the other part of it.
• 9:52
SPEAKER_03: Um, I don't know if you've heard this before.
• 9:54
SPEAKER_03: I've I've talked you, you know, I was in radio before, and I left radio because of the content and the music.
• 10:00
SPEAKER_03: Um, I got I'd just been saved, I'd just been born again, and I could no longer stay.
• 10:05
SPEAKER_03: I was, you know, uh modestly successful in commercial radio, and I left, I left the business and never looked back.
• 10:13
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I did do some part-time radio when I was in Cincinnati, but I got out of it because of what was behind the music.
• 10:19
SPEAKER_05: I'm Carolyn Kilgore, founder and provider at TrueHealing Healthcare.net.
• 10:24
  SPEAKER_03: Why functional medicine?
• 10:26
SPEAKER_05: Because you're more than just a list of symptoms.
• 10:28
SPEAKER_05: Traditional care often masks the problem, but functional medicine digs deeper to find the root cause.
• 10:34
SPEAKER_03: What makes True Healing Healthcare different?
• 10:37
SPEAKER_05: We move away from the one size fits all approach.
• 10:40
SPEAKER_05: We look at your environment and your lifestyle to create a roadmap tailored specifically for you.
• 10:45
SPEAKER_03: What if someone really wants to make a change?
• 10:48
SPEAKER_05: If you're tired of feeling fine and want to start feeling great, it's about proactive wellness, not just reactive treatment.
• 10:55
SPEAKER_03: What's the deal with telemedicine?
• 10:57
SPEAKER_05: As long as you're 18 and have an internet connection, you can have a visit in the privacy of your own home or anywhere else in Texas.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_05: We're able to order labs or prescribe or whatever else you need.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_03: True Healing Healthcare.net for the great state of Texas.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_03: You know what I'd like to do?
• 11:14
  SPEAKER_03: What?
• 11:14
SPEAKER_03: I'd like to give you a round of applause.
• 11:18
SPEAKER_03: You have just come back.
• 11:20
SPEAKER_03: You did 12 hours, um, 36 hours in a row.
• 11:25
SPEAKER_03: Well, 36, not in a row, but 36 hours over three days.
• 11:28
SPEAKER_05: And I just did like 42 hours and from six o'clock to eight o'clock.
• 11:33
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 11:33
  SPEAKER_05: It felt like.
• 11:35
  SPEAKER_03: Really?
• 11:36
SPEAKER_03: So that was all your clinical work.
• 11:38
SPEAKER_03: Um, and I and I wanted to do something anyway.
• 11:41
SPEAKER_03: I think uh I have been I've been very kind of melancholy this week.
• 11:45
SPEAKER_03: For but but kind of kind of kind of in a good way, because I've been uh maybe better than melancholy, I'll say I was I'm contemplative, thoughtful, something like that.
• 11:55
SPEAKER_03: And part of it is uh we're about to hit this is episode 147, and we're about to hit 150.
• 12:01
  SPEAKER_05: Wow.
• 12:02
SPEAKER_03: And but listen, here's the thing.
• 12:04
SPEAKER_03: We have been at this uh for all these weeks, every Friday.
• 12:08
SPEAKER_03: We I think we haven't posted maybe twice over all these weeks, uh 147 weeks.
• 12:16
SPEAKER_03: And we've only missed two.
• 12:18
SPEAKER_03: We did uh I think we were traveling.
• 12:19
SPEAKER_03: We were in the Caribbean once and we did an archive, and then maybe one of the holidays, we did a did a did an archive show.
• 12:26
SPEAKER_03: And we the fact that we're married and the fact that we can come, no, really, because y'all know, you know, but if you um if you're married, you inevitably are gonna land on some disagreements, land land on some stuff that is not um that wouldn't that would inhibit the podcast performance potentially.
• 12:47
SPEAKER_03: Yes, but we really haven't we really haven't run into that one.
• 12:50
SPEAKER_05: So on the shows where there's not much of me, that probably happens.
• 12:53
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's not true.
• 12:54
SPEAKER_03: That is so not true.
• 12:56
SPEAKER_03: You're you're here every time, but but yeah, I mean there is a little bit of that.
• 12:59
SPEAKER_03: If you if you listen to the whole whole archive and say, oh man, Carolyn in that one, that was a fight.
• 13:06
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, kind of.
• 13:07
SPEAKER_03: I'll edit you the heck out of here.
• 13:10
  SPEAKER_03: That's a joke.
• 13:11
  SPEAKER_03: I would never.
• 13:12
SPEAKER_03: But uh, but yeah, 147.
• 13:15
  SPEAKER_03: So that's uh that's a that's a milestone.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_03: Then we're then when we hit 150.
• 13:19
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know what that's gonna feel like, but it's a lot.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_03: And you um do all your stuff, all your nurse practitioner stuff, run your business.
• 13:27
SPEAKER_03: You are in great demand.
• 13:30
SPEAKER_03: Can we talk a little bit about some of the I mean, but really you're you are um it's a reason to kind of celebrate because you you you're getting people are reaching out to you from not just patients, you're getting patients um that are uh reaching out from all over uh for your uh for your knowledge and expertise in functional medicine.
• 13:51
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, a lot of people are interested in the hormones.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and and outside of that, you're you're getting other providers that are reaching out.
• 14:00
SPEAKER_03: Like can can we talk at all about the the Just don't mention names.
• 14:06
SPEAKER_03: So I can talk about the fact that you had an interview this week?
• 14:09
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 14:10
SPEAKER_03: With a big with a big outfit, much bigger than you are now.
• 14:13
SPEAKER_03: And they can I talk about the package, the the money and everything?
• 14:18
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 14:20
SPEAKER_03: But but it's a but it's a nice um it's it it it's it's wonderful that that you um are growing in your field and you got a really nice um comprehensive uh package to go work for another company company.
• 14:35
  SPEAKER_05: I'm excited.
• 14:36
  SPEAKER_05: I'm mostly excited because it's at a place I've worked before.
• 14:41
SPEAKER_05: Okay, but they were bought out by another company.
• 14:44
SPEAKER_05: But my people still work there.
• 14:47
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 14:47
SPEAKER_03: So you're going back to work with some people we already know, and yeah.
• 14:51
  SPEAKER_05: They're they're my little friends.
• 14:54
  SPEAKER_03: Well, good for you.
• 14:55
SPEAKER_03: And then uh and then you have another opportunity.
• 14:57
SPEAKER_03: You have a meeting about that on Friday.
• 15:00
SPEAKER_05: Yes, I'm excited about that.
• 15:01
SPEAKER_03: You know, and that's doing uh working with a doctor that I like.
• 15:05
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, with and then another pay some more patient load at the end of the day.
• 15:09
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 15:10
SPEAKER_05: But it'll just be I'm mostly doing that to help them out because you know, I like them and um he has referred some patients to me, and you know, they they need some help, so I want to help them out.
• 15:23
  SPEAKER_03: I have a question to ask.
• 15:26
SPEAKER_03: It's it's a it's a broad question, but as an individual listener, I don't, you know, no matter where you're listening from and what you believe and what you do, um I'm gonna ask this question in in a bit and then follow it up with an interview.
• 15:39
SPEAKER_03: And um I'm just curious to see what what what comes out of this.
• 15:44
SPEAKER_03: If I get feedback, that would be wonderful.
• 15:47
SPEAKER_03: But none nevertheless, it must be discussed because uh certain things are being sh shoved upon us.
• 15:53
SPEAKER_03: The whole culture is rebelling in a way.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_03: Not the whole culture, but a big part of the culture is rebelling against righteousness, anything holy, anything decent.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_03: It's just like we're we're deep, getting immersed and it's on television, it's in movies, it's at the award shows, the symbolism and the Do you think it's always been this bad?
• 16:16
SPEAKER_05: But now that we have social media, people are just because I notice people will say whatever on social media, but when you're interacting with people in person, yeah, you don't they're not as nasty.
• 16:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, well, people aren't that brave.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_03: I mean, you some things you'll say to somebody from a keyboard you'll never say in somebody's face.
• 16:40
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's true.
• 16:41
SPEAKER_03: So that that could be part of it.
• 16:43
  SPEAKER_03: But no, it's old.
• 16:45
  SPEAKER_03: This is old.
• 16:46
SPEAKER_03: And you know, I was I was reading, I just as part of the research for the show, there have been people that have been worshiping uh Satan behind the scenes, kind of behind the scenes.
• 16:55
  SPEAKER_03: Uh Sammy Davis Jr.
• 16:57
  SPEAKER_03: is is one person.
• 16:59
SPEAKER_03: Uh that's a pretty famous name, if you know, I guess you know, if you're over YouTube 10.
• 17:04
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 17:04
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 17:04
SPEAKER_03: He yeah, but but in history, he's a famous musician dancer.
• 17:08
SPEAKER_03: And he was a member of the Sir Church of Satan.
• 17:11
SPEAKER_03: He talks about there's several YouTube videos.
• 17:13
SPEAKER_03: Eddie Murphy talks about it on uh getting cars, um sorry, getting coffee in cars with uh comedians, whatever uh Seinfeld show is.
• 17:21
SPEAKER_03: But he's on there talking about meeting Sammy and Sammy talking about uh Satan and his participation in the Church of Satan.
• 17:28
SPEAKER_03: Uh Ginger from Gilligan's Island, the redhead.
• 17:33
  SPEAKER_03: Really?
• 17:33
SPEAKER_03: Mary Jane and yeah, look her up.
• 17:35
SPEAKER_03: Look up the um look look up her, and it's pretty she was involved with Anton LeVay, who is the founder of the Church of Satan, and he and she is pretty open about that.
• 17:46
SPEAKER_03: Um there were but there were a bunch of others.
• 17:49
SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't need to list them all, but the question is going to be if your favorite musician, your favorite, just think of your favorite song, your favorite musician, your favorite actor, or your favorite sports figure wasn't was an open Satanist.
• 18:09
SPEAKER_03: They um let's say it's not even open.
• 18:12
SPEAKER_03: Let's say you find out through a podcast that they uh are are deeply into the occult.
• 18:19
SPEAKER_03: Does that change with the next time the song comes on?
• 18:22
SPEAKER_03: Do you switch the station?
• 18:23
SPEAKER_03: Do you switch the stream?
• 18:25
SPEAKER_03: Or do you say, listen, um, you know, when the guitars are put down and the mics turn off, uh, they can go do what they want.
• 18:33
SPEAKER_03: But I like, you know, I'm gonna sing my favorite song and that's gonna be it.
• 18:36
SPEAKER_05: For sure, I'm not listening to their music because I know that has an impact on your spirit.
• 18:42
  SPEAKER_03: The music does.
• 18:44
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 18:45
SPEAKER_03: Um so if you so if you know an artist is is involved in the occult, you're gonna cut cut them off.
• 18:50
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I I used to love Taylor Swift's music, but I don't listen to her anymore.
• 18:56
SPEAKER_03: And um So what about what what if it doesn't have the influence that music does?
• 19:01
SPEAKER_03: What what is what about your favorite actor?
• 19:02
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, if you knew if I know that, no, I'm not gonna watch it.
• 19:05
SPEAKER_03: You're not gonna go to the movie.
• 19:06
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 19:07
SPEAKER_03: If they're in the in the like the new Spider-Man, let's say.
• 19:09
  SPEAKER_03: That that's a huge movie.
• 19:11
  SPEAKER_05: No.
• 19:11
SPEAKER_03: And I don't know that anybody is in that movie, but you're saying if one of the main actors was involved in the occult, you wouldn't go.
• 19:17
SPEAKER_05: No, no, of course not.
• 19:19
SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, you okay.
• 19:21
SPEAKER_03: You say of course not, but No, of course not.
• 19:24
  SPEAKER_05: I Okay, okay.
• 19:25
SPEAKER_03: I mean What about your favorite sports figure?
• 19:27
SPEAKER_03: What it what what is your your what is your favorite sports?
• 19:29
SPEAKER_03: Like dog wrestling, uh horse wrestling?
• 19:31
SPEAKER_03: What what what do you what do you like?
• 19:33
SPEAKER_03: Because you usually don't like any sports.
• 19:35
  SPEAKER_03: You only like horses.
• 19:36
  SPEAKER_05: I like sports.
• 19:37
SPEAKER_05: I like things you like horses.
• 19:38
SPEAKER_05: The rodeo and you like barrel racing.
• 19:40
SPEAKER_03: I like so what if your favorite barrel racer was involved in the occult?
• 19:44
SPEAKER_05: No, those those aren't the type of people to be involved in that.
• 19:47
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_03: Well, you know, it's uh that's part of the reason we bring this up, because it's coming from sectors of the uh of the population of the earth that you wouldn't expect at times.
• 19:59
SPEAKER_03: And and I've been hesitant to do this show forever.
• 20:02
  SPEAKER_03: Why?
• 20:02
SPEAKER_03: Because I don't want to spotlight the darkness.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_03: But sometimes you need to put some light on the darkness so that it won't thrive.
• 20:10
SPEAKER_05: Well, all of those, not all of those people in Hollywood, but a lot of those people in Hollywood are, you know, dark.
• 20:19
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
• 20:20
SPEAKER_03: So we have an interview.
• 20:22
SPEAKER_03: There was a lady, her name is uh Jan Marina Chen.
• 20:28
SPEAKER_03: And she is a former uh musician, a former DJ in that in the music business, and she lived in Hollywood for the longest time, and she is going to talk about symbolism and what's going on in the current in the in the culture as it relates to music and the people that are sold out, but not to Jesus.
• 20:49
SPEAKER_03: They're sold out to darkness, so to speak.
• 20:53
SPEAKER_03: So she is fascinating because she's been in there and then she is uh she became a born-again Christian.
• 20:59
  SPEAKER_03: So here's what we'll do.
• 21:00
SPEAKER_03: We're going to play part one of this interview with Jack Marina Chen.
• 21:04
SPEAKER_03: She comes out of the occult music, Hollywood.
• 21:07
SPEAKER_03: And the podcast interview is being done by John from Redeemer Church.
• 21:11
SPEAKER_02: Welcome to the truth about the occult.
• 21:13
  SPEAKER_02: I'm John.
• 21:14
  SPEAKER_02: This is Jack.
• 21:15
SPEAKER_02: We have done many shows about the occult here.
• 21:18
SPEAKER_02: And the reason we've done that is to see people who are deceived come to the light of the truth.
• 21:24
SPEAKER_02: And I know that can sound arrogant to some, I know that can sound combative to some, but I'm saying that to shake for a moment.
• 21:32
SPEAKER_02: And I'm saying that because that's the truth.
• 21:35
SPEAKER_02: Listen to first Galatians chapter five, starting in verse 19.
• 21:40
SPEAKER_02: It says, the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are, and then many are named.
• 21:45
SPEAKER_02: And two of them that are important for our conversation are idolatry and sorcery.
• 21:50
SPEAKER_02: And that word sorcery is just a junk drawer term for the occult.
• 21:55
SPEAKER_02: So anything that you would shove into, it's not a technical term for well, I'm a sorcerer.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_02: I'm not a sorcerer, you know, I'm a new age or whatever.
• 22:03
SPEAKER_02: Like, no, this is a juncture term that just includes everything in the occults.
• 22:08
SPEAKER_02: And then farther down it says, I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
• 22:19
SPEAKER_02: So here's a warning from Paul to these groups of Christians who are interacting with non-Christians who says, if sorcery is what you practice, if the occult is what you practice, then you are not part of God's kingdom.
• 22:35
SPEAKER_02: You are part, you are deceived if you think you're part of God's kingdom.
• 22:39
SPEAKER_02: It's actually the opposite of that.
• 22:40
SPEAKER_02: And so this podcast exists to help people see the truth so they can leave it, which is what happened in your life.
• 22:48
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 22:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 22:49
SPEAKER_00: So important in talking today about the entertainment industry and the way that music and movies and all that, but specifically today, music can be a lure that Hollywood uses to draw people into the occult.
• 23:01
SPEAKER_00: Looking back at things that I used to watch and things that I used to listen to, it's actually striking and shocking seeing how blatant the occult symbolism, the occult words can be kind of hidden in plain sight among songs that just sound happy and mesmerizing and just things that you hear on the radio.
• 23:21
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 23:21
SPEAKER_02: So I know that you were living in Hollywood.
• 23:25
SPEAKER_02: You were seeking to make it in Hollywood in many ways back in the day, before the Lord saved you.
• 23:31
SPEAKER_02: And the reason I bring that up is because back on November 7th, I'm listening to a podcast and I text you saying how much of your pursuing the occult was connected to the music industry.
• 23:44
SPEAKER_02: Like what was there a blending of those things?
• 23:46
SPEAKER_02: Because I was listening to a podcast where a guy was talking about how his friend believed the way that he would get ahead in Hollywood was by delving deeper and deeper into masonry.
• 24:00
SPEAKER_02: And so all of that reminded me of your story.
• 24:02
SPEAKER_02: And so that's why I asked you.
• 24:04
SPEAKER_02: And so as you hear that, what are some of the things that come to mind?
• 24:07
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, quite a few things.
• 24:09
SPEAKER_00: It stands out to me a lot how, you know, having that dream as a child, I want to be famous.
• 24:13
SPEAKER_00: And that being this drive now that I'm living in Hollywood and I'm, I want to make it and follow my dreams.
• 24:19
SPEAKER_00: And then I hear about things like the law of attraction.
• 24:22
SPEAKER_00: And the people touting the law of attraction are people who have had a lot of success monetarily or fame, or they're entrepreneurs with a huge business.
• 24:31
SPEAKER_00: Like they know the secret that has given them all of these earthly material things that I want.
• 24:37
SPEAKER_00: And so diving deeper into that, wanting to know where that power came from was leading me deeper into the occult.
• 24:43
SPEAKER_00: And though I would have said that it was for the pursuit of hidden knowledge and just ultimately the pursuit of knowledge, deep down there was this drive that, okay, these people are in on a secret.
• 24:55
SPEAKER_00: And if I get in on the secret too, then I can make my will be done, but I can make my dreams come true or I can fulfill my personal desires.
• 25:03
SPEAKER_00: And was really lured away by that, the secret knowledge that people who were very successful in Hollywood claim to have.
• 25:10
SPEAKER_03: And the conclusion of how Chen escaped from the occult in Hollywood on part two, coming up next week on the Doc and Carolyn Podcast.
• 25:20
SPEAKER_01: The Revelation to John, chapter twelve.
• 25:23
SPEAKER_01: And a great sign appeared in heaven.
• 25:26
SPEAKER_01: A woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
• 25:34
SPEAKER_01: She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.
• 25:40
SPEAKER_01: And another sign appeared in heaven.
• 25:43
SPEAKER_01: Behold, a great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems.
• 25:51
SPEAKER_01: His tails swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth.
• 25:57
SPEAKER_01: And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it.
• 26:04
SPEAKER_01: She gave birth to a male child, one who was to rule all the nations with a rod of iron.
• 26:11
SPEAKER_01: But her child was caught up to God and to his throne.
• 26:15
SPEAKER_01: And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.
• 26:27
SPEAKER_01: Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
• 26:37
SPEAKER_01: But he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
• 26:43
SPEAKER_01: And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world.
• 26:53
SPEAKER_01: He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
• 26:59
SPEAKER_01: And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come.
• 27:09
SPEAKER_01: For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
• 27:18
SPEAKER_01: And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
• 27:28
SPEAKER_01: Therefore, rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them.
• 27:32
SPEAKER_01: But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short.
• 27:43
SPEAKER_01: And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.
• 27:51
SPEAKER_01: But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle, so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time and times and half a time.
• 28:04
SPEAKER_01: The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman to sweep her away with a flood.
• 28:12
SPEAKER_01: But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth.
• 28:20
SPEAKER_01: Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
• 28:32
SPEAKER_01: And he stood on the sand of the sea.
• 28:35
