- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities CE OS and even royalty Adam Cox, these
- 0:21recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's world
- 0:24famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39And this hypnosis session has a couple of different parts to it.
- 0:421 Is this element of suggesting that they make behavioural
- 0:47changes to. Things that could.
- 0:51Impede their ability to sleep all the way through, so that's
- 0:54having a meal. And a.
- 0:56Final drink of the day early, emptying their bladder before
- 1:00they go to sleep. But also.
- 1:02Having the suggestion that if they were to wake up and their
- 1:06intuition is encouraging them to wake up, then actually they
- 1:10could be grateful for their intuition doing that.
- 1:13And actually. Have the key suggestion that
- 1:16when they then return back to their bed, they're going to
- 1:19sleep even deeper than they do they were before.
- 1:22And that's partly linked to a hypnotic phenomenon called
- 1:25fractionation. Fractionation is where you ask
- 1:28the client to close their eyes, feel relaxed, open their eyes,
- 1:32notice how they feel and then close their eyes again.
- 1:34And each time they close it takes them deeper relaxed.
- 1:37So we're just mapping that across to this client.
- 1:40So rather than being annoyed at themselves and being frustrated
- 1:43that they're waking up mid sleep, it's kind of like.
- 1:46Oh, thank you. Intuition for waking me up.
- 1:48That's better than, you know, peeing, you know, and being
- 1:51caught short actually in the bed.
- 1:54They go to the toilet, they return and then fall asleep even
- 1:57deeper. There's a version of this where
- 2:01you can listen and awaken at the end.
- 2:03But the way it's phrased is that if you are ready to drift off
- 2:07into that deep sleep, it just extends at the end.
- 2:11So when I count from one to 10, rather than awakening, it
- 2:14encourages you to go even deeper asleep.
- 2:17So if you like sleep hypnosis and occasionally you wake up to
- 2:21go to the toilet, you'll benefit from this.
- 2:23And if you really do have, if not tourists and you wake often
- 2:26to go to the toilet, then you'll especially benefit for this.
- 2:30At the same time, it was created for an individual.
- 2:33So if some of the suggestions aren't quite right for you, it's
- 2:35because it was correct for them and may not be suitable for you.
- 2:39So if you do like the idea of working with me directly and
- 2:42then having a session entirely created for you, check out the
- 2:46link in the description where you can book a free consultation
- 2:49call and then we'll have a chat. And it might be that we end up
- 2:52working together and I build a session specific to your
- 2:56circumstances and what's right for you.
- 2:59For now though. Find a quiet.
- 3:00Comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 3:03Relax. And enjoy.
- 3:04The session. Take a deep.
- 3:38Breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that slow, long,
- 3:48relaxing breath. And as you exhale, give yourself
- 3:57permission to release any stress, worries, frustrations,
- 4:03or tension, allowing it to leave your body in your outward
- 4:10breath. And when you breathe in, breathe
- 4:16in for longer. And as you exhale, allow
- 4:24yourself to extend that outward breath, breathing perhaps twice
- 4:32or three times as long in that outward breath.
- 4:38And as you empty your lungs, your diaphragm awakens, enabling
- 4:44you to breathe in even deeper than before.
- 4:50And notice with your eyes closed how much easier it becomes to
- 4:56focus on the sound of my voice. Breathing in relaxation,
- 5:04exhaling tension. And scan your body for any clues
- 5:12of tension, perhaps around your jaw, your forehead, your neck,
- 5:19or your shoulders, but also somewhere else, Maybe somewhere
- 5:26in your torso, your arms, or your legs.
- 5:31And every time you breathe out, set the intention to just let
- 5:38go, enabling you to feel like you're drifting deeper and
- 5:48deeper, relaxed. And if you need to position your
- 5:53body in such a way to feel more comfortable and just allow
- 5:58yourself to make yourself even more comfortable now, taking a
- 6:05slow breath in and a long breath out, allowing each exhale to be
- 6:15a vehicle to release anything emotionally that you don't need.
- 6:26That's right, each breath helping you feel a little
- 6:31calmer, a little more relaxed, as if the muscles of your body
- 6:38are just melting away any tension.
- 6:45Feel every release, every gentle moment of relaxation.
- 6:55And I wonder if you can imagine staring out of a window.
- 7:05And the window can change. Sometimes it might be a
- 7:09cityscape, sometimes you might see cars, or you might see
- 7:16clouds and perhaps even people walking by.
- 7:24Allow it to shift from city to nature to hills and forests to
- 7:33the coast in the sea. This window allows you to see
- 7:40whatever feels relaxing and comfortable.
- 7:48And I want you to get a sense that this time here is time just
- 7:55for you. And I want you to imagine what
- 8:00it would feel like as you look out of the window to imagine
- 8:08being somewhere comfortable, safe and secure.
- 8:17Allow the window to show you the sanctuary.
- 8:22And as I count down from 5 to 1, you will imagine drifting to
- 8:29that sanctuary, and right in the center of that century is your
- 8:36own bed. And I want you to feel a sense
- 8:43of connectedness, gratitude, even love for that bed.
- 8:52Now look through the window and five float through 4 drifting
- 8:58towards that sanctuary, 3 getting closer, and then 2
- 9:05arriving there in that sanctuary.
- 9:12And then one. Just imagine seeing your bed
- 9:22dressed exactly how it is, same number of pillows, same duvets,
- 9:29same sheets, same frame. And I want you to imagine
- 9:37climbing into that bed. As your body sinks and relaxes
- 9:44into the bed, allow your mind to drift off into what you can
- 9:50imagine would be a dreamlike sleep.
- 9:55And I want you to imagine you found an evening ritual.
- 10:02Doesn't have to be a big ritual. Perhaps a small ritual, a signal
- 10:07to your body and your mind that now is the time for rest,
- 10:17something you might not do in the morning, but you could do in
- 10:23the evening. And perhaps it is just as simple
- 10:28as looking out of a window, noticing the night time.
- 10:39Or maybe it's taking long, slow outward breaths.
- 10:48And sometimes people do things not for the thing.
- 10:53It's just a way of activating their breath.
- 10:57But you figured out that the breath is all you need.
- 11:02And as you imagine taking those long, slow outward breaths,
- 11:08imagine feeling your body winding down, adjusting to a new
- 11:16frequency, a frequency of rest and relaxation rather than
- 11:22alertness. Just feel your body relax more
- 11:29and more with each exhale. And let's try this now.
- 11:41I want you to imagine that when you breathe in, you start to
- 11:45engage or tense the pelvic floor muscles, breathing in, tensing.
- 11:54And as you breathe out, you just release, letting go.
- 12:02You're strengthening the muscle and relaxing the muscle.
- 12:08And let's try that again, breathing in and tensing the
- 12:12pelvic floor muscle. And as you exhale, release,
- 12:21feeling that wonderful sense that you want dovetailing
- 12:26outcomes, strengthening and relaxing at exactly the same
- 12:33time. And whenever you do this, you
- 12:40could set an intention. An intention could be to
- 12:44strengthen, or it could be the signal to get ready to
- 12:52communicate in advance that it is now time to prepare for
- 12:56sleep. And just feel that rhythm of
- 13:00awareness and release, like you're teaching your body to
- 13:07relax deeply, to feel safe, to feel ready to sleep.
- 13:21Unless you enter that dreamlike sleep.
- 13:25I want you to dream about feeling empowered to make small,
- 13:30useful changes that support even more that deep, restful sleep.
- 13:39And maybe that's choosing to eat earlier when possible.
- 13:45Well, the last drink of the day being earlier in the evening.
- 13:50And what if part of your ritual to really send a message to your
- 13:57body that you're ready to sleep, is that cathartic emptying of
- 14:04your bladder fully right before you go to bed?
- 14:11Sending a message that it's fine to sleep now?
- 14:15And what if these small actions, repeated each evening, become a
- 14:25stack, a chain reaction, become part of the ritual, the signal
- 14:32to your body that it's time to rest?
- 14:37And it feels natural, easy, automatic.
- 14:44Allow your unconscious to update those internal rhythms.
- 14:53Your ancestors didn't have alarm clocks.
- 14:57It was the sunrise and the sunset and their rituals that
- 15:03let them knew when to sleep and when to awake.
- 15:10And I want you to feel that every now and then, your
- 15:15intuition may prompt you to awaken briefly from your sleep
- 15:25and to go to the toilet. And if your body ever signals
- 15:31there in the night to rise and release, rather than being
- 15:37annoyed or frustrated, I want you to feel that you can trust
- 15:41your intuition to know exactly when is the right time.
- 15:51And as you enter, you're bloody completely get a feeling that
- 15:56when you return to bed, you feel lighter and more comfortable,
- 16:00but even more cozy than before. Almost as if each time you wake
- 16:09and return to sleep, going back to sleep takes you deeper into
- 16:15sleep than before you awoke. Consider it a form of
- 16:22fractionation. But paradoxically, each cycle of
- 16:28waking and then resting actually helps you drift into an even
- 16:34deeper, more powerful, more rejuvenating sleep.
- 16:43Consider that whatever happens, you're happy.
- 16:48If you have an entire night of sleeping without needing to rise
- 16:52and release, you can be grateful for that long, uninterrupted
- 16:59sleep. But if you happen to be nudged
- 17:05by your intuition to rise and release, I want you to be
- 17:11grateful that you have such a powerful intuition.
- 17:17And also to be grateful for the even deeper sleep you will
- 17:21experience when you return, so that even the interruptions
- 17:28become part of the deepening process, helping you sleep
- 17:34better than ever before. And in that dream, like sleep,
- 17:43in that bed, in your sanctuary, I want you to imagine seeing
- 17:49yourself, perhaps even tomorrow, waking refreshed with more
- 17:55energy, clarity, and calm, more aligned, more connected.
- 18:05Allow your body to know that tonight and every night your
- 18:11body is learning, adjusting, finding its natural rhythm of
- 18:18rest, empowered by your habits, soothed by your ritual, and
- 18:28restored by your deep and peaceful sleep.
- 18:40Very soon I will count from 1:00 to 10:00.
- 18:44And if you're listening to this at a time when you don't want to
- 18:51sleep, when I arrive at 10, you will awaken.
- 18:57But if you're listening to this in an environment where it's
- 19:02safe, useful and desirable to drift into that wonderful,
- 19:09rejuvenating sleep, well then, as I count from 1:00 to 10:00,
- 19:18it will simply take you even deeper, relaxed, helping you to
- 19:24drift into that wonderful, relaxing, intuitive sleep.
- 19:34Starting to count 123, 456, 789 and 10.
