- 0:02We are so excited you're tuning in today.
- 0:04We have a jam packed show for you.
- 0:07We talk about is the Pope the Antichrist and why is he so pro
- 0:12Islam? Is Congress completely gone?
- 0:17We'll get into the gay dads that are mocking their baby and we
- 0:21may bring physical violence against them.
- 0:24And then we get into a gay pastor.
- 0:27He's not actually gay. Allegedly.
- 0:30David French and Ally Best Stuckey's interview this week,
- 0:33so you don't want to miss any of the segments.
- 0:35Stay tuned all the way through. Thank you for tuning in.
- 0:59I know that in Europe there are many times fears that are
- 1:05present, but oftentimes generated by people who are
- 1:09against immigration and trying to keep out people who may be
- 1:14from another country and other religion and other race.
- 1:18And in that sense, I would say that we all need to work
- 1:21together. One of the values of this trip
- 1:23is precisely to raise the world's attention to the
- 1:27possibility that dialogue and friendship between Muslims and
- 1:32Christians is possible. I think one of the great lessons
- 1:35that Lebanon can teach to the world is precisely showing a
- 1:38land where Islam, Christianity are both present and I
- 1:43respected, and that there is a possibility to live together, to
- 1:47be friends, stories, testimony, witnesses that we heard even in
- 1:52the past two days of people helping each other, Christians
- 1:56with Muslims, both of whom had had their villages destroyed,
- 2:00for example, of saying we can come together and work together.
- 2:03I think those are lessons that would be important also that we
- 2:06heard in Europe or North America.
- 2:09So Pastor Mark, it would appear that we have our maybe our first
- 2:13woke pulp Pope. And he's a man.
- 2:16I looked it up. He's a man with an associate's
- 2:18degree in chemistry, worked in a food processing plant and then
- 2:22did some stuff in between there, became the most politically
- 2:25influential religious voice on the planet.
- 2:27And since, he has used that platform to bless same sex
- 2:30couples, condemn capitalism, lecture on climate policy, bless
- 2:33a rock and call Christian conservatives dangerous.
- 2:37So what is your scorecard for this Pope over the first year of
- 2:42his? Yeah, well, it's a conundrum
- 2:44because he'll be conservative on the pro-life issue, LGBTQIA and
- 2:49the alphabet suit people. And you're like, OK, I
- 2:51appreciate that. And he wants to eradicate
- 2:54borders, even though he lives in a place that has the most secure
- 2:57border of any nation in the world.
- 2:59You actually can't. So Vatican City is actually a
- 3:01country and you can't enter unless the Pope welcomes you.
- 3:04And there is no permanent citizenship.
- 3:06You're only there at the behest of the Pope to serve.
- 3:09So the guy who is the the most anti border lives within the
- 3:13strongest border of any nation in the world, which is just a
- 3:17fun fact. But but when it comes to issues
- 3:20of like Islam, I I'm working on this book, the four horsemen.
- 3:25And so I just pulled up a quote and this is from Vatican news.
- 3:29So this isn't me going to some critic.
- 3:32He says Jesus taught us to welcome one another as brothers.
- 3:36And this applies first and foremost to us Christians, Jews
- 3:38and Muslims who worship the one God and who refer, albeit in
- 3:42different ways, to Abraham as father in faith.
- 3:45And so he's saying that because Abraham is the kind of the
- 3:48father of faith for Christians, Jews and Muslims that we're all
- 3:51worshiping the same God. We're not.
- 3:54And so, you know, Jesus said I am the God of Abraham.
- 3:57So our, our God is Jesus Christ. That's not the, the God that is
- 4:00worshipped as the God of Judaism or Islam.
- 4:04And in fact, I've got this in here as well.
- 4:08Islam flatly teaches that Jesus was not the son of God, that he
- 4:12didn't die on the cross. He didn't rise from the dead.
- 4:14And he he is not superior to Muhammad.
- 4:18And so even a a good, a good Jew would say we disagree with the
- 4:23Christians and a good Muslim would say we disagree with the
- 4:26Jew. And a good Christian would say I
- 4:28disagree with the Jews and the Muslims.
- 4:30A good Muslim would just say they disagree with Christianity
- 4:32and with Judaism. So what what he's trying to do
- 4:35is he's trying to create some sort of relational connectivity.
- 4:38And so use the words, you know, relationship.
- 4:42And he's talked about, you know, people loving each other and
- 4:45serving each other. Yeah, that's personal.
- 4:47What we're not talking about is relational.
- 4:48We're talking about governance in a country.
- 4:51Is it to be run by Sharia law or not 'cause if you're a devout
- 4:55Muslim, you're like, it needs to be run by Sharia law.
- 4:58Well, this isn't relational, right?
- 5:00This is legal. This is federal, this is
- 5:02governmental. And so he's taking two issues
- 5:06and he's confusing them. But to me, you know, just
- 5:11hearing him speak, he's a soft man.
- 5:14And this is part of the problem with the Catholic papacy, the
- 5:17fact that they don't allow their priests to get married.
- 5:19They don't allow them to have children it it entices a soft
- 5:24kind of man to go into an academic and monastic life and
- 5:29and some things publicly, they require hard men.
- 5:32When you're dealing with wars, when you're dealing with
- 5:34immigration and borders, when you're dealing with political
- 5:36issues, soft men are not best capable of making those
- 5:40decisions. And so these are guys too that
- 5:43just practically, they haven't been hardened by fatherhood.
- 5:45They haven't been hardened by marriage.
- 5:47Their their, their instincts toward women and children and
- 5:51being a defender, protector, they're not strong.
- 5:54And so these tend to be weak men.
- 5:56They tend to be woke men and they tend to be soft men.
- 5:58There are exceptions, but for the most part, a, a very healthy
- 6:02strong man wouldn't even want to take a life of celibacy and
- 6:07chastity and poverty. A fact that a man aspires to
- 6:10that. Now, if God calls you to that, I
- 6:12get it. But if that's the job
- 6:13description and only those men can take that job, you are going
- 6:17to lose the best men and you're going to lose the hard men.
- 6:19And this is what you get. You get a very soft man who's
- 6:23wearing a dress talking about relationships, when in Islam
- 6:27you've got very hard men that can marry up to four women and
- 6:31can beat their wives. And they believe in three
- 6:35options. You would convert, you die or
- 6:37you pay a tax as an infidel. And I'll tell you what, those
- 6:42guys are going to populate the earth and they're going to
- 6:44control the future. And a guy like this, he's got no
- 6:46legacy, he's got no family, he's got no future.
- 6:50And so if if this plays itself out, this is the kind of person
- 6:55that gets crushed by Islam. A. 100% and and yeah used used
- 7:00to spread Islam. I got asked a bunch this week.
- 7:05Is this Pope the Antichrist? And it felt like a really loaded
- 7:10question, obviously. So I did some research and
- 7:13shocked to see that that's not a new question in history,
- 7:16especially in church fathers and Luther Calvin Knox virgin.
- 7:20This was a something they talked about often.
- 7:22Within the Reformed tradition of Christianity, there are there's
- 7:26always been a subset that believes that the Whore of
- 7:29Babylon is a Catholic Church and that the Antichrist is the Pope.
- 7:32That's. Wild, you know.
- 7:34We'll see when we get there. He doesn't seem capable enough.
- 7:37No, no, you would need somebody a little stronger than that.
- 7:40But, but if I'm Catholic, I'm frustrated because, because now
- 7:46you've got the Pope speaking on matters that they're not a
- 7:48subject matter expert. And so, you know, you can be a
- 7:51subject matter expert in one area, but that doesn't mean that
- 7:54it transfers to another area. Like This is why I don't want.
- 7:56Climate change and capitalism, Yeah.
- 7:59What 1 and and so Catholicism being a global, you know, faith
- 8:03community, a lot of it is in socialistic nations.
- 8:07And so you're going to want to have a sensitivity or even a
- 8:10tolerance towards socialism. But you know, but from a
- 8:14biblical perspective, I mean, you know, the Bible is clear
- 8:17about private property ownership and stealing is, you know,
- 8:20forbidden in the commandments. And so socialism by definition
- 8:25is the first step to Marxism. And it was it was Karl Marx that
- 8:29said that. And then Vladimir Lenin
- 8:30confirmed that. He said there it's a 2 step.
- 8:33And the first step is socialism. The second step is communism.
- 8:35We know that communism is completely and totally
- 8:37atheistic. And so there's just a, there's a
- 8:41lack of, there's a lack of courage.
- 8:43And, and This is why the Pope is fighting with the president.
- 8:47You've got a soft man and a hard man.
- 8:50And, and, and the way people are dividing is often times not over
- 8:53ideology, but, but simply, you know, are you attracted to a
- 8:57soft man or are you attracted to a hard man?
- 9:01You know, and hard, hard men are not going to be attracted to
- 9:03this boat. No, yeah, unless I can't even
- 9:06listen to him. I mean, that's the longest every
- 9:08time we see. We saw the clip a few months ago
- 9:11of him blessing a rock, an ice chunk or something like.
- 9:14Well, taking off his shoes and walking around with Muslims and
- 9:16honoring, you know, their sacred places, it's like, so this is
- 9:21where. The Catholic Church is like 5
- 9:22years late. I'm being woke.
- 9:23Yeah, it's like, well, that was 2020, guys.
- 9:26Well, and but a part of it is as well as like again, like a soft
- 9:30man doesn't do conflict. A soft man tries to do nuance.
- 9:35And we're in a day when quite frankly, like nuance is over.
- 9:40And I think in particular, younger generations, but
- 9:43especially younger men, they're like, I'm not looking for
- 9:45nuance. I'm not looking for, you know,
- 9:49really crafted statements that try to avoid conflict and
- 9:54controversy. It is more of a prophetic time
- 9:57of just like hey, be clear and have the conflict.
- 10:00Yeah, it we are seeing record number of young men flocking to
- 10:04the Catholic Church. Mainly they're sick of big LED
- 10:09walls, that nuanced teachings, that things that just look like
- 10:14the world. There's a whole generation of
- 10:15men that are getting saved as a result of Charlie Kirk and his
- 10:19martyrdom, but they're showing up to churches and just seeing
- 10:22soft, limp wristed pulpits. So then they're seeing
- 10:27Catholicism as something that has tradition and sacrament and
- 10:31oh, this is something I can latch on and follow.
- 10:33What would you tell those young men as they're trying to discern
- 10:36and understand the difference? And what is the Catholic Church?
- 10:39What is the Christian Church? What is the differences?
- 10:41What is the Pope's role in all this?
- 10:43Yeah. So if you're if you're trying to
- 10:46find a church, it's it's a tough day.
- 10:48And that's what we continually hear is it's hard to find a
- 10:51church. And the reason that some people
- 10:53are, you know, especially young men are maybe moving toward
- 10:55Orthodoxy or Catholicism. Maybe they were in an
- 10:58evangelical church. And when an evangelical church
- 11:00slides, it's always to the left. It never slides to the right.
- 11:04Like you don't very rarely, if ever, do you see a denomination
- 11:08or a network of churches slide to the right.
- 11:10They always slide to the left and they just keep moving the
- 11:14line. And if you're in that, you know,
- 11:15community, you're, you're wondering, OK, where does it
- 11:18end? And why are we going this
- 11:20direction? So then you look at Catholicism,
- 11:22where you look at Orthodox and you think, well, they've been
- 11:24around for thousands of years. But depending upon which
- 11:28tradition you're in and depending upon which church or
- 11:31community you're in, it could be even more to the left.
- 11:35And so it's less about being under the right big umbrella and
- 11:39finding a local community that is led by someone that has the
- 11:43courage of conviction to stay in their lane and to not deviate.
- 11:47But that is hard because I'll be honest.
- 11:49Like right now, my generation, you know, running Christian
- 11:53churches, denominations, networks, seminaries, Bible
- 11:56colleges, publishing houses, they're almost exclusively soft,
- 12:00woke, nuanced, third way, trying to navigate between the left and
- 12:05the right. And when they punch, they only
- 12:06punch to the right. They never punch to the left.
- 12:08That's my whole generation. And they're failing miserably.
- 12:12And they're they're not setting an example of good fatherhood
- 12:15and strength and courage for young men.
- 12:17And they're more worried about approval from the left than they
- 12:21are helping young men. And so I think for a lot of
- 12:24young men, they just walk into church.
- 12:25They're like, they're not even trying to help.
- 12:28I like, I want to get married. I want to have kids.
- 12:30I want to do the stuff that the Bible says.
- 12:32And my Big Brother Charlie Kirk said, but they're not helping me
- 12:35to do that. But but again, think of a
- 12:37Catholic Church. How is that guy going to help
- 12:39you do that? You're like, hey, so when you
- 12:41and your wife have conflicts, I don't have a wife.
- 12:42OK, So when you're trying to launch a business, he's like, I
- 12:45took a vow of poverty. I don't do money.
- 12:46OK, well raising your kids like I don't have any kids, so how is
- 12:51this guy supposed to help? If you get the men, you win the
- 12:54war. You lose the men, you lose the
- 12:56war. It's very simple.
- 12:58If you get the men, you get the family.
- 13:00If you get the men, you get the legacy.
- 13:02If you get the men, you get the future.
- 13:04Today the church is dominated by soft, weak, woke men in
- 13:11leadership. Churches are built for women and
- 13:16children and I like to say we build men up to bless women and
- 13:21children. How do we start a significant
- 13:25ministry that becomes a movement of spirit filled, Jesus loving,
- 13:31Bible obeying, courageous men, loving and leading their
- 13:36families and communities? If you're a mom and you got a
- 13:39son, you know the need. If you're a parent and you've
- 13:42got a son, son, you know the need.
- 13:44If you're a grandparent with a grandson, you know the need.
- 13:48We're asking you to join us for a brand new group called The
- 13:51Remnant. We're asking you to give
- 13:52generously, sacrificially, regularly.
- 13:56You could text stand to 9933. Just text stand to 99383 and you
- 14:04will be part of the provision helping this vision become a
- 14:08reality. And if you're a guy who is a
- 14:10leader, you want to start a men's ministry and you want your
- 14:14church to stop being pathetic and send your pastor out so we
- 14:19can help him be prophetic. We'd love to do so.
- 14:22Join the remnant Text Stand to 99383.
- 14:36When COVID hit, you made me the young adults pastor at Trinity,
- 14:41and Ashley was there serving with me.
- 14:44And young adults went from like three people to 100 people in
- 14:47our backyard because we bought a house, we got married and we
- 14:51were having kids. And everybody wants to learn how
- 14:53to do that. They want Charlie Kirk.
- 14:56That was his whole message. Get married, have kids, follow
- 14:59Jesus. But how do you show up to a
- 15:01church where you're not where the pastor priest can't get
- 15:05married, have kids, build a life and you're anti capitalism?
- 15:09Like it's I think that's a hard message for young men to follow.
- 15:13But the tradition makes it feel like, well, it's religion.
- 15:16This this feels right. Yeah, well in we've had the
- 15:19conversation offline and a lot of what is the Catholic Mass is
- 15:23just a repackaged civil meeting from 1st century Roman Empire.
- 15:27That was wild when you shared that with.
- 15:28Me so Christianity was outlawed until Constantine.
- 15:32And once it was legalized under Constantine, it became the
- 15:35official religion of the Roman Empire.
- 15:37Well, now it's like a branch of the government.
- 15:41Now you're you're using government buildings and
- 15:43government dollars and government protection and
- 15:45support. And so the way the Roman Empire
- 15:47was architected, it had regions and it had sort of a political
- 15:52judicial leader over each region.
- 15:54Well, then they just overlaid that with a, a Bishop, a
- 15:57Christian leader that helped in the legal and the spiritual
- 16:00matters. And then the Roman, the Roman
- 16:03civic meetings, you'd literally walk in and there would be the
- 16:07Roman law books carried in and there'd be a picture of the
- 16:11emperor and there'd be this pageantry and procession and and
- 16:16then the Catholic service is really an outgrowth of that.
- 16:19They just said, well, let's take Caesar's picture off and put
- 16:21Jesus picture up and let's take the Roman law books down and
- 16:24let's put the Bible up. And So what we think is
- 16:27tradition is actually pretty much just Pagan Roman civic
- 16:33life. And so when guys are like, it is
- 16:36so traditional, it's like, well, it's old, but it's not rooted in
- 16:40anything that has any sort of biblical historicity to it.
- 16:44It's Roman civic meeting repackaged.
- 16:47It's. Wild.
- 16:49And it's, I mean, I get it for young men, they're trying to
- 16:51find truth in the gospel. I'll try to find something that
- 16:55won't move on them. You know, like, I mean, I didn't
- 16:58grow up in evangelicalism. I grew up Catholic and I went to
- 17:01Catholic school and I was an altar boy and some of that kind
- 17:04of stuff. But then, you know, once I
- 17:07jumped into the mainstream of evangelicalism, I'm
- 17:10disappointed. I'm devastated.
- 17:12You know, I didn't grow up in it.
- 17:14But I just see it continually sliding in the soft woke
- 17:18cowardice. You've got the weakest men
- 17:21running the most important institutions and if I was a
- 17:24young man I would be really disappointed.
- 17:27But even as an older man, I'm really disgusted.
- 17:29Yeah, 100%. Yeah.
- 17:33So going back to the Catholic the Pope, will there be Do
- 17:38Catholics go to heaven? Well, it all so it all comes
- 17:41down to Jesus and so the church doesn't save, Jesus saves and
- 17:44the church doesn't mediate. Jesus mediates.
- 17:46And this is one of the big conflicts with Catholicism.
- 17:49And so are there born again Jesus, loving brothers and
- 17:52sisters in Christ in the Catholic Church.
- 17:54Yes, many, many. But simply being part of the
- 17:58institution doesn't Curry any favor with God.
- 18:01It's like Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
- 18:04So it's Jesus, it's only Jesus. And so, but what I, what I have
- 18:08grave concern about is when he is trying to soften the approach
- 18:12to Islam. Islam is a great enemy
- 18:15historically of Christianity. And where Islam has spread,
- 18:19Christianity has been subjugated and Christians have been
- 18:23slaughtered and the churches have been closed.
- 18:25And so, you know, to think that Islam would want to be friends
- 18:30with Christianity in the church and want to have a peaceable
- 18:33coexistence. I've again, I've got it in the
- 18:35book I'm working on. But so Muhammad himself, he
- 18:40started in Mecca and he was peaceful, didn't really have any
- 18:44success. He moves to Medina, he becomes a
- 18:47warlord, he assembles A militia. They killed 1000 men, they
- 18:52enslave the women and children, they behead the men.
- 18:56And so he becomes a warlord. And so Islam has always spread
- 19:00by violence and force. And so if you think that making
- 19:05peace with Islam is something that they are willing to do,
- 19:08they're not. They see that as weakness.
- 19:09Again, the hard men see the soft men as targets.
- 19:13And the soft men are just asking, hey, can we have a
- 19:16relationship? Sure, we can.
- 19:18I can behead you and take your wife.
- 19:20How about that relationship? 100 percent, 100% Yeah it.
- 19:25Islam will not ever coexist. Christians are willing.
- 19:30Muslims are not. Well, because the, the, so Islam
- 19:33is not a religion. It's, it is a total dominating
- 19:37lifestyle. And it demands to run the court
- 19:40system. It demands to run the legal
- 19:43system and the, the political system and the religious system.
- 19:47So we tend to think in America like, well, that's just their
- 19:50religion. No, their religion is
- 19:51totalitarian. Yeah.
- 19:54And so it's it's like being in North Korea.
- 19:56There's no separation between church and state in North Korea.
- 20:00So Islam has a similar ideology and that is total domination.
- 20:05And that's that's what it is required to be a faithful
- 20:07Muslim. Is that you would you would
- 20:10bring Islam to bear in every area of society?
- 20:14And so if you're a Christian now, are you willing to be under
- 20:18Islamic rule? And well, the answer is you
- 20:20can't be because now you're an infidel.
- 20:22And again, you have three choices, Convert, die or pay the
- 20:25infidel tax. Those are your options.
- 20:28And so wherever Christianity has been, and then Islam comes,
- 20:32Christianity is no longer there. For example, in the Book of
- 20:36Revelation, John writes to seven churches and and if you look
- 20:41today, it's Turkey. So the Book of Revelation is
- 20:45written basically to the nation of Turkey, which today is the
- 20:49least Christian nation on the earth.
- 20:51There are less Christians in Turkey than the church that I
- 20:55pastor. That's wild.
- 20:56The whole country. That's wild.
- 20:58There were Christians in Iraq until, you know, Saddam Hussein
- 21:02fell and ISIS moves in. The Christians are gone.
- 21:04Egypt was a Christian nation for like 700 years.
- 21:07And it's gone. And so just you can look, you
- 21:09don't have to be smart. You just have to be honest.
- 21:12Yeah. It's a wherever Islamic rule has
- 21:14gone, has Christianity flourished?
- 21:17The answer is no. It's obliterated.
- 21:20Yeah, that's that's where guys like Nick Freitas right now
- 21:22we're talking about it and Tucker and and some voices like
- 21:27that are very pro Islam and kind of rebranding it.
- 21:32And it's like, can we just look at history and the facts Like
- 21:35we're not making, we're not making any inferences here.
- 21:38Look at what it's done to every nation it's been in.
- 21:41Yeah. And the guys gave us some
- 21:42interesting stats. And so like so for example, in
- 21:49Turkey since 19, ninety, 99% reduction in Christianity, Iraq
- 21:5590% reduction in Christianity, Syria, 80% reduction in
- 21:59Christianity, Egypt a 50 to 75% drop in Christianity.
- 22:04And the Christians didn't just necessarily leave.
- 22:07A lot of them were slaughtered. A lot of them are slaughtered
- 22:09and then a lot of them are forced to leave country if they
- 22:13want to survive. And so to say, hey, you know
- 22:17this, this can work. It's like, well, how many, how
- 22:19many failed experiments do you need to run to come to the
- 22:22conclusion that it's a false hypothesis?
- 22:24It doesn't work. It does.
- 22:25Not work? Well no.
- 22:26Be honest. Like you want to put Sharia law
- 22:29over me as a Bible believing heterosexual male Christian?
- 22:32You want to create a world where a man can marry four women and
- 22:36he can legally beat his wife. Women are worth half as much as
- 22:40a man. Yeah, and their testimony in
- 22:42court is similar. It's like if that is the
- 22:45government that I am under is a Bible believing Christian with a
- 22:49wife and kids, we're going to have a hell of a conflict
- 22:52because I can't live under that because I see that as demonic
- 22:55oppression. 100% as as you should.
- 22:59And I think that's that's why everyone's asking the question
- 23:01with the Pope right now of like, why are you trying to mediate
- 23:04and reconcile these two things that are not irreconcilable?
- 23:09So what does good have to do with evil?
- 23:10What does light have to do with darkness?
- 23:12You know, what does God have to do with Satan?
- 23:13The answer is nothing. But again, hard men are willing
- 23:16to make those hard calls, and soft men are trying to reconcile
- 23:19things. And so it is actually a grave
- 23:21sin to have compassion toward evil, to have empathy toward
- 23:24evil and try and reconcile with evil.
- 23:26And they said they're so loving. They're so, they're
- 23:27compassionate, they're so kind and they're so relational and
- 23:32it's evil because to take right and wrong and try and bring them
- 23:34together. It says in the last days that
- 23:37teachers will rebrand evil for good and good for evil.
- 23:40That's, well, that's, that's the that's the spirit of Antichrist
- 23:43in every generation is. So is the Pope a false teacher?
- 23:47So on the issues of the Trinity, the death, burial, resurrection
- 23:51of Christ, the Christ is fully human and and fully God.
- 23:56He is not heretical on issues of policy and politics and borders
- 24:01and ecumenical interfaith relationships.
- 24:06He is headed in a direction that does not lead to faithful
- 24:11Christianity. So is he a Christian?
- 24:13Seems to be. Is he?
- 24:15Is he naive? Yes.
- 24:16Is he misled? Yes.
- 24:18Is he very soft? Yes.
- 24:20Is the direction he's going wrong?
- 24:22Yes. Yeah, it's like a little bit of
- 24:24dog poop in the brownies. There's dog poop in the
- 24:27brownies. Like if we're we're adding
- 24:29towards all all, we all serve the same Jesus.
- 24:31There's. There's a Well, yeah, when you,
- 24:32I mean, when you say that, you know, Muslims, Christians and
- 24:35Jews all worship the same God. Just sit down, a true Christian
- 24:40and a true Muslim and ask, OK, do you both worship Jesus
- 24:43Christ? And the answer is no, No.
- 24:45So even a faithful Muslim doesn't agree with that.
- 24:48And this is where it's unkind to rebrand what even our opponents
- 24:53think to make it more palatable. But it's like, that's not what
- 24:57they think. That that's where I'm struggling
- 24:59with like all right, if you're a false teacher in that area.
- 25:03Yeah, once we get to so there's closed handed and open handed
- 25:06issues. So socialism, you know, I'd I'd
- 25:09put it, oh, closed handed, I'd put it close handed, Jason.
- 25:13But like, but like, let's say, you know, borders or immigration
- 25:16policies, OK, But like when you get to OK, is the God of Islam
- 25:21the same as the God of Christianity?
- 25:22That is a absolutely closed handed issue and and part of it
- 25:26within Catholicism too. I mean, they're they're really
- 25:28big on the church creeds and the church creeds are exceedingly
- 25:32clear on the issues regarding Jesus.
- 25:34And so he is here, venturing into a space that doesn't even
- 25:37agree with creedal Catholicism. Exactly that.
- 25:41That's what I'm struggling with it because everybody is trying
- 25:44to be very nuanced with him and like, well, he, he says some
- 25:48really good things and, and he's got these other things.
- 25:50And then they're comparing, well, what, why aren't more
- 25:52pastors calling out Trump and what he's doing?
- 25:54But, well, Trump is not the leader of one of the largest
- 25:58religions in the the world. When his job is to represent
- 26:01American interests, that's the president's job.
- 26:03But part of the issue with this Pope as well is in the past have
- 26:05a Polish Pope. We have an Italian Pope and then
- 26:07there's translation into English.
- 26:09And there can always be. Sorry that was mistranslated,
- 26:11but now we have an American. Pope.
- 26:12We have a Chicago Pope. Yeah, and so like, he's speaking
- 26:15English for himself, which means you can't blame it on a
- 26:18mistranslation. Yep, 100 percent, 100%.
- 26:22Well, Speaking of failed experiments, as you were just
- 26:25talking, wanted to talk about Congress in America and it feels
- 26:30like it's completely gone. As a young guy looking at our
- 26:33political system, I'm looking and watching affair after
- 26:36affair. Marriage is blowing up.
- 26:38There was actually an affair that happened that resulted in
- 26:42the person that was going to expose killing themselves, which
- 26:46is horrific and horrible. But the Congress, their approval
- 26:52ratings at an all time low 15%. They all seem to become wealthy
- 26:57very quickly. The minute they get into
- 26:59Congress, they're suddenly their stock portfolios take off.
- 27:01It's wild. But it feels like they can't
- 27:05govern themselves, so can they govern America.
- 27:08So I'm just struggling as a young guy looking at it all and
- 27:11trying to assess what what should we do with this system?
- 27:14What are what are your thoughts on Congress and where we're?
- 27:16Yeah. I mean, I think the point of
- 27:17like, if you can't govern yourself, why should you be
- 27:20given other people and things to govern?
- 27:23Like if if you don't have dominion over your drawers, you
- 27:27shouldn't get a promotion. You've got a you know, And so,
- 27:30but part of it as well is this is what happens when not not
- 27:34entirely, but this is Christ less conservatism.
- 27:37And So what happens within a lot of politicians that are even
- 27:40conservative, if they're Christless, there's no, there's
- 27:43no grounding, there's no rooting, there's no authority,
- 27:47there's No Fear of God, there's no discipleship, there's no
- 27:50teaching, there's no pastor. And so I know for a fact that
- 27:55even most politicians that are Christians, they don't go to
- 27:58church, they're not under spiritual authority, they don't
- 28:00have a pastor. And nobody's checking in on
- 28:04their marriage and family. And that's a recipe for disaster
- 28:08because now what you're doing is you're taking someone who's
- 28:11probably away from home a lot in DC.
- 28:14And DC is, you know, an environment that let's just say
- 28:18is, is godless. And it's a lot of, it's a lot of
- 28:23favors and it's a lot of, it's a lot of wickedness and it's a lot
- 28:27of darkness. And so if you're that person and
- 28:29you're away from your family and you don't have a church and you
- 28:32don't have a pastor and nobody's checking in on you and you're
- 28:34not under any authority and you're not being discipled,
- 28:37you're not being called to repentance and you're not doing
- 28:40word and sacrament and you're a Christ less conservative,
- 28:43eventually you're just going to be exposed as a fraud and a
- 28:45hypocrite. You're going to be the guy who's
- 28:47selling family values while committing adultery on your
- 28:50wife. And, and this and this is what
- 28:53we know. You know, what do we not know?
- 28:57You know, what do we, what do we not know?
- 28:59I mean, we, I mean, without naming names, some of the
- 29:03political leaders and some of the commentators that I know,
- 29:07they say that the adultery and the hookup and the hotel rooms,
- 29:10they said it's just, it's just common knowledge.
- 29:13And it's like, it's like an NBA player on tour.
- 29:16It's just, it's just part of the job description.
- 29:20And so if you are a Christian, you don't want just conservative
- 29:23leaders. You want, you want people that
- 29:25are grounded and have a fear of God and live under some sort of
- 29:28authority. Otherwise they're just
- 29:31hypocrites and it is discouraging.
- 29:35It is, it is very discouraging. And you're actually, you're
- 29:39speaking at a men's conference this summer with Pastor Josh
- 29:42McPherson up in Washington because their state has gotten
- 29:44so bad, they've decided to send one of their actually their
- 29:48campus pastor into the belly of the beast, Adam James.
- 29:51And he's doing a great job up there and taking a lot of.
- 29:53Town. Josh's playbook and a lot of the
- 29:57conversations we're having behind closed doors is that
- 29:59pastors should get involved. Dads, business leaders, good
- 30:03godly guys need to throw themselves into politics or else
- 30:06we're going to lose this nation. Well, and when it was said, hey,
- 30:09you know, hey, you know, pastors and churches should not be
- 30:12involved politically. It's like, well, then that means
- 30:14that the politicians have no churches and pastors.
- 30:17Like do you, do you really want the the politicians to not have
- 30:21a church and a pastor be under authority and getting disciple?
- 30:23Because this is what happens, you've got, you've got Christ
- 30:26less conservatives that are maybe even claiming Jesus, but
- 30:29not walking with them in any real meaningful way.
- 30:32And suddenly that becomes the majority line for the for the
- 30:36Republican Party. And and then it does hurt us
- 30:40with the left because then it's like, well, they're all a bunch
- 30:42of hypocrites. It's like, well, on the left,
- 30:44they're all a bunch of perverts. So it's not like either one can
- 30:47win the plank spec game. But yeah, if I'm, if I'm a young
- 30:51man, I, I would, I would encourage, you know, be involved
- 30:55nationally, but really hyper focused locally.
- 30:58You can actually know local politicians and, and the, and
- 31:01the end of the day, you can't control what happens at the
- 31:03White House, but you can control what happens at your house.
- 31:06And I think it's becoming hyper focused on where has God-given
- 31:09me authority and dominion? This is my property, this is my
- 31:12business, this is my church, this is my wife.
- 31:14These are my kids. These are the areas that I can
- 31:17affect change. And maybe they'll be a hypocrite
- 31:19leading, but not at my house. And, and you're going to stand
- 31:24before God and give an account for whatever your assignment
- 31:26was. And we need to be civically,
- 31:28politically, culturally engaged to be sure.
- 31:31But I don't want young men #1 to, to have a sense of nihilism,
- 31:35like it's all just a waste of time and energy.
- 31:37You know, your life is meaningful, valuable,
- 31:39purposeful. You can have a family and a life
- 31:42in the future and lead people to Christ and do what God has
- 31:44appointed you to do. And and in addition to that, a
- 31:48lot of men will use this as an excuse to do nothing.
- 31:52It's like, well, the system is broken, so burn it.
- 31:54And this is the kind of burn it all down.
- 31:57But all that is, is deconstructionism from the
- 31:59right. And deconstruction is always
- 32:01just burn it all down. Well, OK, but if you burn the
- 32:04house down, what are we going to live in?
- 32:06Do you have a build plan to replace it with something
- 32:08better? Because the truth is we're all
- 32:10sinners by nature and choice. And it's a it's a broken, flawed
- 32:13world. And even if there was a perfect
- 32:15system, the sinners would ruin it.
- 32:17Because that's what we do for sure.
- 32:20We will never have heaven on earth.
- 32:22It has always been pretty bad. Like America was born out of a
- 32:26pretty bad society and then America has become a pretty bad
- 32:29society. Like evil and wickedness are on
- 32:33this in this world. Yeah, No, it's it will.
- 32:35And as Christians, we believe in the curse.
- 32:36We believe in the fall, which means we need to be primarily
- 32:40committed to evangelism. If you think that the solution
- 32:43is political, all politics can do is give you freedom to preach
- 32:46the gospel and then the Gospels would actually transforms and
- 32:49changes people. So unless they really get saved,
- 32:52born again and discipled to be mature in their faith, nothing
- 32:56changes. It's just it's hypocrisy from
- 32:58the right and it's perversion from the left. 100 percent,
- 33:01100%. So yeah, I think those are
- 33:04really wise words for the young men.
- 33:06I think it's there's so many extremes right now.
- 33:08There's the red pill. There's not black pill, which is
- 33:11nihilism and then the woke right and the like.
- 33:16It is hard to the pendulum's just swinging, and young men are
- 33:20trying to figure it out. And the answer's always going to
- 33:22be Jesus. And the Bible is a pretty good
- 33:25instruction manual for what we should be doing as young men.
- 33:28Yeah, and I raised, you know, our five kids in, you know,
- 33:31urban Seattle. Yep, which is a super majority
- 33:35of just progressivism and now has a mayor that is a complete
- 33:40buffoon, 0 qualification socialist.
- 33:44And my hope was I'm going to lead people to Jesus and I'm
- 33:47going to raise a family and build my marriage and invest in
- 33:50our children. And so, you know, at the end of
- 33:54the day, some people met Jesus and I have a family that I love
- 33:57and I'm very, very grateful for. And, and everybody else is
- 34:00responsible for their decisions. But if it keeps you from, you
- 34:05know, doing evangelism, talking to others about Jesus, getting
- 34:08married and starting a family, then all of a sudden you have
- 34:12lost the opportunity to actually enjoy your life because you
- 34:15focused on all the aspects of it that are unenjoyable.
- 34:17A. 100% and yeah, being deconstructing, being frustrated
- 34:24with the world, being a victim, you'll never build anything and
- 34:27you'll end up on meds and it's the solution is Jesus in
- 34:31building something that is in your control.
- 34:33Yeah. So I mean, right now, like close
- 34:36this, like, I mean, you've got your son who's my grandson.
- 34:38Like you know what I don't I, I have grandkids and at the end of
- 34:43the day, there are tremendous blessing and joy and I want to
- 34:47fight for a future that is best case scenario for them.
- 34:51But I'm glad that they're here, and the God who was faithful to
- 34:56me will need to be faithful to them.
- 34:57Yep, 100%. And for young men, the minute
- 35:00you get married and then have a kid, any sense of nihilism goes
- 35:04out the window 'cause it's, it's about a world for your son and
- 35:08your daughter and their kids. So I think we just focused on
- 35:12ourselves way too much and we don't focus on Jesus enough.
- 35:16Well, thank you for Pastor Mark for that.
- 35:17I think that's super helpful. All right, the next one's going
- 35:20to be fun. So getting into Sodom and
- 35:24Gomorrah gay dads. So wanted to show you this clip.
- 35:29Really don't want to show you this clip.
- 35:31It is horrific. You want to have physical
- 35:35violence after watching this clip.
- 35:37Who do you want Deada or pop? No, Mama, do you want Deada or
- 35:46Pop? Who do you want Dada or pop?
- 35:59Nope. Do you want Dada?
- 36:02You want pop? No way, Jose, I think.
- 36:09Oh, you. There is no Mama.
- 36:12I'm so sorry. You have Dada, You have pop. 2
- 36:18choices. No Mama.
- 36:22No. No Mama, Dada or pop.
- 36:36No, no. So they're mocking this child.
- 36:38Yeah, it just, it makes me want to cry.
- 36:41And violence. I mean, it's like you're, you're
- 36:47mocking a child, you're mocking your own child.
- 36:53You're and the truth is, the child does have a mother
- 36:55somewhere. Yeah, it didn't come out of him.
- 36:58No, no, no. These guys are.
- 36:59Occult They bought this kid. It was a surrogate, so they paid
- 37:02some woman to have their child. Yeah.
- 37:05And so they're, you know, I mean, you know, the child
- 37:08doesn't fully understand what they're saying, but there is a
- 37:12mother and, and so. He wants his mom.
- 37:17I'm Indy, You can spend the day with me.
- 37:20He wants his mom. He loves his mom way more than
- 37:23me, like he loves his dad. He respects his dad.
- 37:26We have a great relationship, but he wants his mom.
- 37:28So there is, there is literally a, a physical, spiritual bond
- 37:32between a mother and child. And because the child is, you
- 37:37know, is created and cultivated within the woman.
- 37:41And so the biology on this is breathtaking.
- 37:44And it's shocking. But there's a there's a, there's
- 37:47a connection at a biological and a spiritual level between a
- 37:50mother and child. And so, yeah.
- 37:53So surrogacy then removes that child from that mother, which is
- 37:56damaging to both the mother and the child.
- 37:58So gays should not be able to adopt.
- 38:02Gays should not be able to do parenting.
- 38:05They have a mental health problem the older.
- 38:07They were likely sexually abused, so they're gay.
- 38:11So then they have a child that will likely be sexually abused.
- 38:15Well, and so at the end of the day, it's like, you know, pulses
- 38:18in Romans one. I'm just going to get clearer as
- 38:20this as I get older. He says it's unnatural and and
- 38:24they exchange natural relations with women for unnatural
- 38:27relations. And so the lifestyle does not
- 38:29produce life. Therefore the lifestyle should
- 38:32not be parenting life and and a man and a woman can produce
- 38:37life, should they? So they should be able to parent
- 38:39life. And if for some reason there's a
- 38:40biological problem and they need to do, you know, they want to do
- 38:43adoption or foster care or, or other things or try and use, you
- 38:47know, fertility mechanisms to have a child.
- 38:49That is that is that is working through a brokenness in the
- 38:54biology homosexual relationship. The biology is non reproductive.
- 39:00God created this act so that it does not produce parents and
- 39:06life. And so yeah, I, I am against the
- 39:10same sex couples being married. I'm against them adopting
- 39:13children. I'm against them doing
- 39:15surrogacy. I'm against them doing foster
- 39:18care. And it is a, it is sexual
- 39:22perversion. I mean being gay and married.
- 39:25And it's why are you gay? I mean, were you, were you
- 39:28abused? Is there trauma?
- 39:29Do you have a porn addiction? You know, what is the trigger
- 39:32and cause? Or are you just a pervert either
- 39:34way? But then to mock a child.
- 39:37I I mean it describes who they are.
- 39:39And to mock your child. And then to put it online, the
- 39:43Internet, thinking that this is entertaining or interesting when
- 39:48it's actually horrifying and madding.
- 39:51It's it's very madding. Any Christian man with a kid is
- 39:54like, I'm going to kill him. It's like if you if this is the
- 39:57kind of parent you are, you just prove that you shouldn't have a
- 39:59child. For sure shouldn't.
- 40:01And to prove that point I wanted to share 2 recent cases that are
- 40:06being tried right now. Gay couple William and Zachary
- 40:10Zuluk adopted 2 young brothers and then repeatedly raped them,
- 40:14made CSAM which is child porn, pimped him to a pedophile ring
- 40:20and they're both being sentenced to 100 years in jail.
- 40:24And then the second case in the UK, gay couple Jamie and John
- 40:29had a 13 month old infant placed for adoption.
- 40:33They sexually assaulted him to the point of killing him after
- 40:37three months sexually assaulting an infant boy.
- 40:41So this is horrific, evil, demonic, and being gay is
- 40:46horrific, evil and demonic. Well, and I don't know if we're
- 40:49going to show the RFK clip, but then then we have the
- 40:51administration prior outlawing Christians from parenting.
- 40:54Yeah, I think we should roll that clip and then get get into
- 40:57kind of the juxtaposition in our culture right now is is awful.
- 41:01President Trump and the first lady who has been extraordinary
- 41:04for us to work with, have said their vision as one family per
- 41:10one for one child. Right now we have a 2 to one
- 41:14ratio. And part of the reason for that
- 41:17is that the Biden administration was excluding an entire class of
- 41:22people because of their religious beliefs and told the
- 41:24states to actually pass laws, instructed them to pass laws
- 41:29refusing families who had religious certain religious
- 41:33beliefs, mainly Christian religious beliefs, to not be
- 41:36allowed to have children. And that dramatically
- 41:39constricted the pool of available parents.
- 41:42That's horrifying. I mean, if you're gay, you can
- 41:45have the child even though your lifestyle cannot produce life.
- 41:50If you are heterosexual married Christian couple that has a
- 41:55lifestyle that can produce life and maybe you've already
- 41:58successfully raised and parented children or in the process of
- 42:02doing so you are denied from raising children because of the
- 42:06trans cult that dominated America in a previous
- 42:11administration I. Mean.
- 42:13It's why we have really good friends.
- 42:14Probably the best parents I know, some of the best boys I've
- 42:18ever met. And they were trying to adopt
- 42:20during the Biden administration through foster care and they
- 42:23couldn't do it and took two years.
- 42:25And they're like, well, I guess, I guess we, we can't do it.
- 42:29And they felt called by God to do it.
- 42:30And I I think this is unearthing exactly why they couldn't
- 42:34because they were a godly Christian home.
- 42:36Totally. That's disgusting.
- 42:38It is completely disgusting and and you look at it and this is
- 42:40where it leading to the next segment with even you know,
- 42:44Christians air quotes that were for Kamala Harris who carried.
- 42:49I mean, she's part of the Biden administration.
- 42:51She she was just the awake member of the leadership.
- 42:55Chews away just on drugs all the.
- 42:56Time yeah, but but at the end of the day, it's like, OK, so we're
- 42:59going to we're going to push a a very anti life, pro death agenda
- 43:05of abortion. And Harris and Waltz were
- 43:08abortion up to birth the most radical draconian murderous
- 43:13ticket in the history of the nation.
- 43:15We know for a fact that they were targeting pro-life groups
- 43:18and pro-life protesters that are even peaceably protesting.
- 43:23And then if a child makes it out of the womb somehow
- 43:27miraculously, we're going to give it to a same sex couple
- 43:31that hates God. And if the Christians would like
- 43:35to open their home and raise a child, they're discriminated
- 43:39against in the name of tolerance and diversity.
- 43:43It's, it's this is, you know, woe to those who call evil good
- 43:46and good evil and light darkness and darkness light.
- 43:48I mean, it's just, it is an upside down world.
- 43:51So then when you have Christian leaders that are coming out and
- 43:53saying, and you should vote for this kind of ticket, literally
- 43:58what you are is at that point you are a false teacher.
- 44:02You're leading people astray. Yep.
- 44:04And you know, I, I, I, of course, I pastor a church and
- 44:08we've seen this, I've seen this my entire career.
- 44:11I mean, I spent my 1st 20 years in downtown Seattle and
- 44:14Christian couples trying to do foster care, trying to do
- 44:17adoption, just law fair against them and having to sign things
- 44:22like, you know, I will you know, give LGBTQIA curriculum and
- 44:27education to the child. It's like, well the child's too
- 44:30so or child's 4. So I don't know why I need to
- 44:33sign a statement talking about genitalia and sexual pleasure.
- 44:38It's a child. What we're going to learn to do
- 44:40is read and write and eat soup. And so this is where America has
- 44:46been dominated by a perverse, oppressive, demonic cult of
- 44:51sexuality that is transgender, that is gay and non binary and
- 44:56all together Antichrist. And, and if everybody held that
- 45:00ideology, the the nation would cease to exist in a generation.
- 45:04There would be. It would go so quick.
- 45:05That's why we're allowing open borders, because we have
- 45:08declining population. And so, yeah, to me, this is
- 45:12just, it's reprehensible. But to see men mocking a child
- 45:18and to think that it's funny and then to post it on the Internet
- 45:22thinking that the rest of us would find their perspective
- 45:25helpful is breathtaking and shocking.
- 45:28And it just goes to show a a young child needs a mother,
- 45:35needs a mother. And I mean, I've, I've got a
- 45:37grandson who's about this exact same age, probably literally
- 45:40within a few weeks of each other.
- 45:42This just goes to prove that you need a mom, because a mom sure
- 45:47as hell ain't going to do this to a child.
- 45:48Smack that guy. And and and a mom is a caregiver
- 45:52and a nurturer and and she bursts the child and she is the
- 45:55best person to raise the child one. 100 percent, 100%.
- 45:59And well, I just thought I'd make this transition.
- 46:02Pastor Mark. Speaking of gay men, I want to
- 46:05show you a clip of David French. You didn't call him gay.
- 46:09I did. I'm not saying he's strong, I'm
- 46:11saying. I'm furious at the Republican
- 46:17Party and I definitely wanted to punish them.
- 46:19And I'm furious at the Republican Party because what it
- 46:21did in service of Donald Trump was it took out the pro-life
- 46:25plank in the Republican Party platform.
- 46:27There's no more call for the human life amendment.
- 46:29It's now a functionally pro-choice platform by state.
- 46:32Livid about that, too. And I talked about that.
- 46:34And I would never vote for Kamala Harris.
- 46:36And you lived in a red state during this time.
- 46:39And so you know that electorally your vote was not contributing
- 46:41to her victory and wouldn't really in practicality hold
- 46:44Donald Trump, Trump accountable. So it was so important to your
- 46:47conscience to vote for the, I think rapidly more pro abortion
- 46:51candidate in Kamala Harris. And that's hard for me to
- 46:54square. And also my problem, Allie Beth,
- 46:58is I'm looking at a world where under that dude, abortions went
- 47:01up for 40 years before. But for lots of reasons, as we.
- 47:05Already talked about, yes, but say.
- 47:07He is not the monocausal. It's not monocausal.
- 47:10But he's part of it. I believe he's part of it and
- 47:12also what? What did he do that caused
- 47:14abortions to rise? What I'm saying is, as I said
- 47:17earlier, this is a man who contributed to extraordinarily
- 47:21extraordinary growth in libertinism, especially on.
- 47:24The right Do we have data that shows us that it's more people
- 47:28on the right that we're getting abortions under Donald?
- 47:29Trump the whole I, I don't, we don't have data.
- 47:32OK, so tell me what you can prove that Donald Trump
- 47:35contributed to the rise in abortion.
- 47:36If you have 40 years of uninterrupted decline in
- 47:39abortion, 40 years and then you have an increase in abortion in
- 47:432017 and you have an increase in abortion.
- 47:46And you don't think it has anything to do with the
- 47:47president who was in office 8 years before that?
- 47:50Well, the president was office 8 years before that.
- 47:52He had 330,000 fewer abortions. But you don't think that his
- 47:56policy or his? I do think their.
- 47:58Policy had any like contribution to the increase in abortion?
- 48:03I'm just looking for like. Think his policies.
- 48:05Is that just a theory that you have or his?
- 48:07Policies contributed to the decrease in abortion and.
- 48:11Do you? OK, Well, I'm interested in
- 48:13which policies specifically, but which policies for Trump
- 48:16contributed to the increase in abortion under Trump in 2017?
- 48:20He had just become. President, I think it's the
- 48:21cultural effect of Donald Trump. OK, so you think the cultural
- 48:24effect of Donald Trump made MAGA more libertine, which I wouldn't
- 48:28necessarily disagree on that. For me, I see it more in the
- 48:30endorsement of gay marriage and all of that kind of stuff, which
- 48:33I'm adamantly against. Do you have any data that shows
- 48:36that it's MAGA that was getting more abortions?
- 48:37Because that's the only way your argument makes sense.
- 48:41I like Ali. She's great.
- 48:43She's great and she did a great job.
- 48:46And and So what what you'll get is soft woke, soft progressive
- 48:56air quote. Christians are given platforms
- 48:59and they're given platforms because the left wants to find a
- 49:03way to deconstruct conservative, Bible based, heterosexual
- 49:09masculine Christianity. And so David French is part of
- 49:13the problem. He's over at the New York Times
- 49:16as a columnist, but he's in the same ideology and ecosphere as
- 49:19like Christian today. And most of your, most of your
- 49:24soft will Christian denominations, Bible colleges,
- 49:27seminaries, which are all dying and closing because young men
- 49:30are returning to faith, but they're not returning to that
- 49:32form of faith. Young men are not.
- 49:35And so he's, he's about my age. I think he's about 57.
- 49:39I'm 55. My generation is a damnable
- 49:46failure in Christian leadership, a damnable failure.
- 49:51And it started early on. I didn't grow up in
- 49:53evangelicalism. Let me get to the kind of the
- 49:56how we got here. I didn't grow up in
- 49:57evangelicalism. I, I grew up son of a drywaller,
- 50:01Jack Catholic. I get saved reading the Bible.
- 50:04And so I go to good Bible teaching church.
- 50:08And then, you know, my, my, my platform starts to grow and I
- 50:12start getting invited into media opportunities.
- 50:15And then I get invited into the heart of evangelicalism to
- 50:17publish and to speak and to write.
- 50:19And I quickly find that theologically I agree with the
- 50:24founders of evangelicalism like the GI Packers and the Francis
- 50:27Schaeffer's and the Billy Graham's.
- 50:29I do not fit within evangelicalism politically or or
- 50:34leadership style whatsoever. And within the the center of
- 50:39evangelicalism, it's, it's very weak, it's soft woke, it's very
- 50:44feminine, it's very nuanced. And it is only and always
- 50:48punching to the right, never to the left.
- 50:50And it started when I was a young man, probably about your
- 50:54age. There was something called the
- 50:55emerging church. So they brought together a bunch
- 50:57of young leaders and then it morphed into the emerging church
- 50:59and it became the deconstruction of conservative masculine
- 51:04Christianity and this subtle movement of deconstructionism on
- 51:09the right. It started when I was a young
- 51:11man and I was probably at Ground Zero with guys like Rob Bell and
- 51:16Brian McLaren and Tony Jones and Doug Padgett.
- 51:19And today they would be sort of the the guys that are in the
- 51:23same camp as a David French as a Christian today it's all that
- 51:27same swamp. And so for me, it, it means that
- 51:32they're moving to the left, but it starts with asking questions
- 51:37and then it moves to subtle compromises.
- 51:41But over time, the slide is always to the left.
- 51:44And then you get to the point where there's a there's a,
- 51:47there's a pressure point of fulcrum, like within an
- 51:49election, it's like, well, who are you voting for?
- 51:52And then they come out of the closet and they're like Kamala
- 51:55Harris. You're like, OK, so so you're
- 51:58taking the most murderous abortion pro trans ticket in the
- 52:05history of the nation and stamping Jesus on it because you
- 52:10absolutely hate Donald Trump and you're so driven by bitter envy
- 52:16and selfish ambition to quote the book of James, you hate this
- 52:19man so much that you will align with someone who is not only
- 52:23against him, but against Jesus Christ.
- 52:27I mean, everything that David French is for like James
- 52:31Talarico, he's defended him and James Talarico said Jesus was
- 52:36pro abortion and French has defended him and won't won't say
- 52:40he's not a Christian. He is now.
- 52:42He's now supporting French supports same sex marriage.
- 52:46Like you are taking a demonic ideology and stamping Jesus on
- 52:50it and you're not a Christian first.
- 52:53You're a politician first. You're demonic first, and then
- 52:57you're you're confusing everybody by calling yourself
- 52:59the Christian columnist. Like this is very dangerous,
- 53:04especially for all these new young men that have become
- 53:07Christians 'cause they walk in and they're like, is that it?
- 53:11No, So they follow Charlie Kirk. He's courageous, he's not a
- 53:15coward, he's clear, he's not nuanced, and he is a Christian
- 53:19conservative. And and so those young men are
- 53:24not going to fall. This is they're not going to go
- 53:26to. So these these are the guys too.
- 53:28So David, if you just photocopied them, these are the
- 53:30guys that run all the Bible colleges.
- 53:32These are the guys that run all the seminaries.
- 53:34They run a lot of the networks. They run the denominations, they
- 53:37run the publishing houses, they run the conferences.
- 53:41Smarmy academic. We never know anything about
- 53:45their marriage. We never know anything about
- 53:47their children. Like did they lead at home?
- 53:50Is there any fruit in their life?
- 53:51Because first Timothy 3 Titus one, if you want to be a leader
- 53:53in the church, like, well, what's your life and your
- 53:55marriage and your family like? That's your resume.
- 53:58Well, this guy, David French, his wife, her Twitter says she
- 54:01lives in a different state. And then he stopped wearing his
- 54:04wedding ring when he speaks. Yeah.
- 54:07And people are jumping to conclusions and we don't need to
- 54:09but if. Grace lived in another state.
- 54:14Well, that's where too. Like where's your family?
- 54:15Where's your flock? And so these these sort of
- 54:18ideological pontificators, it's like they don't have a family
- 54:22that we know about. I mean, it's, it's usually
- 54:24hidden and they don't have any flock.
- 54:27It's like, well, where is where is the fruit of your ideology?
- 54:31Like, well, I'm not investing in any people.
- 54:34Then you're not doing ministry. You're just a, you're a, you're
- 54:37a left wing blowhard who is criticizing the right and
- 54:42getting paid to do so because you were a tool of
- 54:45deconstruction on the right. And whether or not you love
- 54:48Donald Trump, what I said going into the election was there's
- 54:51personalities and there's policies.
- 54:54And when you vote you, you better emphasize the policies
- 54:58because you can have a very nice person who's evil.
- 55:00You can have a very kind person who is incompetent.
- 55:05At this point, you know, I don't need the president of the United
- 55:10States of America to be the pastor for the United States of
- 55:12America. I just need them to get all the
- 55:15debris off the runway so that we can do Christian life. 100% I
- 55:21mean, for like this week, he's the White House reads the Bible,
- 55:25he's reading the Bible and on TV and everybody want Christians
- 55:31want to criticize him, talk about how awful he is.
- 55:34And yeah, he's he's making a couple missteps on social media
- 55:37specifically. But the in all of history and
- 55:41especially biblical history, the Israelites would have, I mean,
- 55:44cheered to have a guy like Trump in office rather than a Pagan
- 55:48king that was sacrificing children.
- 55:50He doesn't even need to be a Christian as long as his
- 55:53policies are. For they're not against us.
- 55:55At least not against us. Just give me neutral.
- 55:58It'd be great if the president was positive toward
- 56:00conservative, you know, heterosexual Christianity.
- 56:04Give me neutral. Don't give me complete negative
- 56:08where they are, you know, encroaching socialism, stealing
- 56:12money from hard working men to fund things that are against our
- 56:15God, against heterosexuality, against our children and our
- 56:20family and our faith. Don't take my money to do things
- 56:23that are against my God. At least be neutral.
- 56:26But you know, I am very glad that in the election President
- 56:30Trump won. I I'm very glad.
- 56:32I mean the fact that we were going to hand over the country
- 56:36to again, even even on the life issue, if you're a Christian,
- 56:40the most pro death murderous. She pledged well and she even
- 56:46said too, that there wouldn't be exceptions for religious
- 56:49conviction. And so now you're you would be
- 56:52looking at even Christian organizations having to fund and
- 56:55support abortion in violation of conscience.
- 56:58I mean, you know, and make no mistake, I mean Tim Waltz and
- 57:01Kamal Harris, they both claim to be Christians, but they're
- 57:03progressive, mainline denomination, apostate, false
- 57:08teacher type of pseudo Christians.
- 57:11They're using Jesus, yeah. Yeah, and I appreciate Ali
- 57:14Bastucke kind of pushing the point, but again, over and over
- 57:18and over, it's soft men that are literally progressive in their
- 57:23heart because they are effeminate and soft.
- 57:26They're triggered by strong men like Donald Trump.
- 57:29We don't know anything about their families.
- 57:31They don't have a flock. And the truth is nobody is
- 57:35following them. I mean, like, like this
- 57:38ideology, there's not going to be a surge of young men who are
- 57:41saying, tell me more. Where do I sign up for the
- 57:43newsletter 'cause I want to be discipled by this guy.
- 57:47But that's my whole generation. And it's a freaking
- 57:49embarrassment. It's tragic.
- 57:51We should have, we should have had a generation of fathers.
- 57:54And instead we have, we have soft book beta males and
- 57:57cowards. And, and now that God is
- 58:00activated, a young generation of men coming to church, they're
- 58:03having a hard time finding spiritual fathers and leaders
- 58:07and, and, and, and even if you're, even if you're an older
- 58:11Christian man, your, your job is to be helpful.
- 58:13Fighting Donald Trump all day is not helpful.
- 58:15Helping young men figure out how do you get activated, discipled,
- 58:20get married, buy a house, have some kids.
- 58:22That's being helpful. And this is just, I don't know,
- 58:26this is building a platform by attacking a man because you're
- 58:29triggered by him because he's strong and you're weak and he's
- 58:33hard and you're soft. 100 percent, 100%.
- 58:37Super helpful. Pastor Mark.
- 58:38Yeah, today's show is interesting.
- 58:39We we talked a lot about weak, soft men that don't seem to have
- 58:43courage to deliver the actual gospel.
- 58:47Since Genesis 3, that's the problem.
- 58:49Weeks off passive men. It's always the.
- 58:52Problem it's always the problem and they they seem to misstep
- 58:56and nuance things like immigration and this month we're
- 59:01the team you forwarded it and the team wrote it but immigrant
- 59:06Jesus we wrote the the book and if you want to understand what
- 59:10the Bible really says about immigration and borders was
- 59:13Jesus an immigrant. Some of the top questions and
- 59:15actually be educated, not just look at what the world is saying
- 59:18about things like immigration and ICE and the biblical
- 59:21context. We wrote the book for you.
- 59:25So if you text right now, ICE to 99383, we'll send you a free
- 59:28chapter of the newest resource and you can get the rest of the
- 59:31book there. And if you want to get notified
- 59:33every time Pastor Mark goes live, text live to 99383.
- 59:39That's live to 99383. Thank you guys so much for
- 59:41tuning in. And we will see you guys next
- 59:45week.
