Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
October 29th, 2023 and well, last night's game wasn't as
• 0:33
dramatic or fun and the snakes decided to explode for a bunch
• 0:41
of runs and got rid of my under. So still World Series.
• 0:49
Still fun to watch just not as fun to watch as game one And
• 0:55
when I was winning money so. But hey, sometimes those losses
• 1:00
happen and we push forward. So today, big slate of football
• 1:07
all over the place and I'll tell you there's a couple that I
• 1:12
like. I got some for my Survivor pools
• 1:16
and I decided I I finally decided, OK, let me let me go
• 1:24
with this. Jets Giants match up, right?
• 1:28
Battle of New Jersey. Who is the best team in New
• 1:32
Jersey? We're going to find that out
• 1:34
today. No, I'm thinking, OK, is there
• 1:39
going to be an offensive explosion here?
• 1:41
No, the Giants really aren't great at that and Jets defense
• 1:46
seems pretty legit. Zach Wilson going to keep, you
• 1:51
know, really flinging the pill around, not making mistakes,
• 1:56
racking up points. No, I don't think that's going
• 1:59
to happen either. And then I take a look at the
• 2:01
total, It's sitting at 35 and I think, yeah, yeah, I can totally
• 2:07
see this being like a, you know, 10, seven game, maybe even like
• 2:14
a AN86 game. Something ridiculous, you know?
• 2:18
So I'm going to take the under. So we're going under 35 total
• 2:25
points between The Jets and the Giants in today's battle for New
• 2:29
Jersey. So see anything better than
• 2:33
  that? Found it.
• 2:34
That's my pick, and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:36
And Gaffer's back again. And so's uncle, Cousin Vinnie.
• 2:43
Oh, man, could you imagine if he was an actual uncle?
• 2:45
Oh, terrible. All right cuz Gaffer, let him
• 2:49
know what you got. You it's Coles and Vinnie.
• 3:02
It's Week 8 and I'm back with your luck with the week tough
• 3:05
loss last week. Guess the lesson learned.
• 3:08
There is never bet against Minshew mania, but turning the
• 3:12
page, moving on to Week 8, we're looking at one game on the
• 3:16
  schedule. Late game.
• 3:18
The Cincinnati Bengals. San Francisco 49ers game is the
• 3:22
lake. Late game 49ers are five point
• 3:25
favorite at home coming off 2 losses and got a quarterback
• 3:31
that has some melon issues coming out of concussion
• 3:35
protocol, Brock Purdy and on the other side of the ball I got the
• 3:39
Bengals who are three and three and looking to kind of bounce
• 3:43
back after a slow start and keep pace with the Ravens into the
• 3:46
division. Now this appears to be a game
• 3:48
where both teams are just trending in opposite directions.
• 3:53
The Niners are getting more banged up every week, Dropped a
• 3:56
  couple. Bengals are getting healthier,
• 3:59
looking more like the team we saw last year that was an AFC
• 4:03
championship game. So what I'm going to do here is
• 4:06
instead of taking the five points, I'm going to take the
• 4:08
Bengals straight up on the money.
• 4:10
  Line up. Plus 2O5.
• 4:12
Really like the value there, like the two to one action.
• 4:15
I like the Bengals win this game outright, no points needed.
• 4:19
So you might as well get the big payout.
• 4:22
And take it to the bank and lock it up.
• 4:24
So we're going to go with Joe Barrow, the Bengals, the money
• 4:28
line plus 2O5 win outright. Send the Niners with their into
• 4:35
the bye week with a third consecutive loss.
• 4:39
Joe Barrow is going to look the right to ship in Cincy with a
• 4:42
big win in Frisco. So until next week calls and
• 4:47
Vinnie, your lock of the week. Ladies.
• 4:59
And gentlemen, we got another terrific Sunday slate of EPL
• 5:04
matches. It's the gaffer back with you
• 5:07
talking about footy. It's a Sunday morning
• 5:11
extravaganza watching Everton and West Ham right now.
• 5:15
We got a bunch of games, later we got Liverpool, but the best
• 5:18
game is the last game. Manchester Darby Oh my, you got
• 5:24
Man City, Man United. Man United's had a tough time,
• 5:28
  haven't started well. They're legendary.
• 5:30
Bobby Charlton. Sir Bobby Charlton passed away
• 5:32
last week. They're going to need a little
• 5:34
bit of momentum and some inspiration this week, but
• 5:38
they're not going to get it because Man City is too good.
• 5:41
Man City is going to get the three points.
• 5:42
It's been a tough battle sometimes.
• 5:44
In the last few times when these two have gone at it, but this
• 5:48
year, no difference. Man City's going to get it done.
• 5:51
Three points, put it on the board.
• 5:53
Good luck. You're going to need it.
