⭐SHOCKING⭐ SILVER Price NEWS... (Gold Price Too!) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Absolutely electric news for the silver market today that I'm
0:06
going to share with you. We've got a lot to talk about.
0:09
Big, massive news from the Bank of Canada, from the ECB that
0:13
will have significant impact on the precious metals markets.
0:17
It's happening, guys. It's happening and it's going to
0:20
be big, big, big moves. In the silver price and gold
0:24
price, we have another state that's passed legal tender
0:27
legislation. We're going to talk about this
0:30
new legislation, right, that protects your ability as an
0:33
American citizen to hold silver and gold.
0:37
But the big news is what's happening for silver demand from
0:41
industry. It's unbelievable.
0:44
I cannot even fathom what is happening right now and from so
0:48
many different sectors, I'm sorry, different factors
0:52
involved in the industrial demand for silver.
0:55
But we're going to look at just one.
0:57
And I'm telling you it's one we've talked about before, but
0:59
this is all new territory when we look at it as a whole, what
1:04
is happening in the world of silver.
1:07
But let's get straight to the the big breaking news of the
1:10
day, OK? Yesterday, the Bank of Canada
1:14
lowered interest rates all. Right, This is a big deal, a
1:19
massive deal. Here's a here's a article from
1:21
Reuters. Canada becomes the 1st G7 nation
1:25
to cut interest rates. Guys, they're giving up on the
1:29
fight on inflation, cut interest rates.
1:33
You could plug in there and take out those two words and put, you
1:36
know, to decides to increase inflation.
1:40
All right, it's going to be massive, massive inflation
1:44
coming down the Pike in the next six months.
1:47
You mark my word. But there's even more.
1:49
Let's just briefly see here. The Bank of Canada trimmed its
1:52
key policy rate on Wednesday, the 1st G7 country to do so, in
1:57
a widely expected move that will ease pressure on highly indebted
2:01
consumers. Yeah, the people in Canada are
2:03
not much better off than the people in the United States, but
2:08
it's so critical that that was the first country to cut
2:12
interest rates. It's happening.
2:15
This is massive, massive news. We're going to dig into more
2:18
about why it's big news for the silver and gold price.
2:21
But now what did we hear this morning?
2:24
Now, first Canada, who's the next domino to fall?
2:28
Let's go over to the BBC, the British Broadcasting
2:32
Corporation, whatever. I'm sure the people in Britain
2:35
have interesting other ways to say what the BBC is, but none
2:39
the less the Eurozone cuts interest rates.
2:43
The Eurozone. Who is this?
2:46
I'm thinking I might have to get her into a box of her own to
2:49
keep her in. We've got a box for Jerome
2:51
Powell. We've got a box for Janet
2:53
Yellen. In this, my friends, Not a
2:56
flattering picture of Christina. Lagarde.
2:59
She's the head central banker in Europe.
3:02
OK, Europe, cut interest rates. Let this sink in.
3:06
Sometimes it takes a day or two, and I'm here to help speed
3:09
things up for us basement dwellers.
3:11
Takes a day or two for things to sink in.
3:13
Europe cut interest rates. Canada cut interest rates.
3:18
Who do you think will be next to cut interest rates?
3:21
All right, we're going to and we're going to talk about why
3:24
this could be explosive for the price of silver and gold.
3:28
Buckle up, buttercup, because it's about to get more and more
3:32
the next six months. I'm telling you, it's going to
3:36
be like. The most exciting time that
3:38
we've lived through, there is so much going on with the bricks,
3:42
with the big presidential election, with the economy
3:45
crashing, it is going to be. You know, I mean, I guess we
3:49
could be stressed out about it or we could be on our toes
3:52
prepared and see what happens and I could be dead wrong.
3:55
Don't make any financial decisions based on anything I'm
3:57
saying. But I'm telling you, baby, it's
4:00
going to get crazy. Get ready for prices to
4:03
skyrocket at the grocery store. That may take three or four or
4:06
five months out, but it is happening.
4:08
The European Central Bank, also known as the ECB, headed up by
4:12
this. How do I describe her?
4:16
Well, anyway, her announced a cut in its main interest rate
4:22
from an all time high of 4% to 3.75%.
4:27
That follows Kanada's decision on Wednesday to cut the official
4:30
lending rate. The ECB move comes as voters
4:32
head to the polls. You ever notice they do all this
4:35
right before elections? Do you think maybe they're going
4:39
to do that here in the United States of America?
4:41
Suddenly need to cut interest rates right before the
4:44
presidential election? Of course, the central banks are
4:47
not at all politically motivated in any way, shape or form.
4:52
The elections over the next four days, with the outcome expected
4:55
to reflect people's unhappiness. Oh this is what gets me over
4:59
cost of living pressures. Cutting interest rates is going
5:04
to ignite inflation all around the world and there's so many
5:09
other factors. We're gonna talk about this big
5:11
June 9th date, how that could be inflationary.
5:14
Cutting interest rates is inflationary, right?
5:17
Supply chain constraints is inflationary.
5:21
It's, it's absolutely crazy. Lindsay James, investment
5:24
strategist at Quilter, said that the move was widely anticipated
5:28
but would nevertheless come as a relief to consumers and
5:31
businesses on the continent. I bet they're all feeling so
5:34
relieved right now. The ECB has stolen a a March on
5:39
the Bank of England and the US Federal Reserve, who are both
5:42
potentially still a few months away from cutting and will
5:46
breathe. Life into an economy that
5:48
desperately needs some form of stimulus now.
5:51
I don't know. OK, so are they saying the
5:54
economy stinks? It isn't that what she said.
5:57
If you say that you desperately need a form of stimulus, that
6:02
would mean that things are bad. This right, cutting interest
6:05
rates is going to cause inflation, and we have an
6:10
economy that is in desperate need of stimulus.
6:13
That would be a stagnant economy.
6:15
That would be stagflation. That would be the 1970s all over
6:19
again. Guys, I you probably get sick of
6:22
hearing me say this, but it's so important for us.
6:25
It's critical for us to remember that the 1970s were one of the
6:29
most lucrative times on the history of the planet for
6:33
precious metals prices. And it's because of stagflation,
6:36
it's because of situations like this.
6:39
But actually, you want the bonus kicker.
6:42
OK, you want the bonus kicker. Let me come back to you so we
6:45
can look each other in the eye here.
6:47
The bonus kicker is things are more screwed up now, right?
6:51
Everything is much more exaggerated, extensuated, more
6:55
severe. I don't know all the other words
6:57
we could use to describe the financially, monetarily,
7:01
geopolitically, things are more screwed up now than they were in
7:05
the 1970s. So we could have unthinkable
7:10
situations unfold in the precious.
7:12
There were no BRICS countries in the 1970s.
7:15
In the 1970s, the United States was effectively still flexing
7:20
its muscles throughout the world, right?
7:23
In the 1970s, we were able to put to put into effect the Petro
7:30
dollar, which allowed us to like borrow money from the and we're
7:33
gonna talk about that's June 9th.
7:35
That could be coming to an end. We didn't have the bricks back
7:39
then. We didn't have about half the
7:41
world saying you can stick it where the sun doesn't shine.
7:46
United States of America, you know, I don't like it.
7:49
We, it's not your fault. It's not my fault, but it's the
7:51
reality of the situation we're in right now.
7:54
And now they're gonna cut interest rates because the
7:57
economy desperately needs stimulus.
8:02
Do they think we're stupid? What do you think's going to
8:05
happen to the dollar? We're going to tie all this
8:07
together and talk about what's going to happen to the dollar
8:11
and what's going to happen to the medals, prizes.
8:13
OK, It's just the hens have come home to roost.
8:17
All right, let's all have a quick sip of coffee.
8:19
And we're quickly, we're going to go out to, I'm really
8:22
starting to like this and I think you will as well.
8:26
Let's go out to FX Empire and just take a quick look at what
8:30
they're saying about gold, silver and platinum.
8:33
OK, I have a have a drink of coffee.
8:35
There's that gold chart. We cannot look at that enough,
8:42
right? We cannot look at that enough.
8:44
Now the update on gold moved above 2350 level is traders
8:49
focused on the pullback and Treasury yields.
8:52
Stronger dollar did not put any pressure on precious smart
8:56
metals markets today. Yes, no joke, because everybody
8:59
knows the quote UN quote strong dollar is just that a joke.
9:04
It's comparing the dollar against the yen and the euro and
9:06
a bunch of other cruddy currencies.
9:08
The gig is up gold and silver and you right the viewer, right?
9:14
What do you think, right? You're smart, right?
9:17
Gold and silver are smart. Investors in gold and silver are
9:20
start smart. They know the gig is up right
9:24
now. Gold is called the bluff, right?
9:26
The strong dollar, what you know, whatever they it doesn't
9:30
care in case gold settles above 23. 50 it could head up to 2390
9:35
or 2400. We like that silver, and we
9:39
need. To we're going to take a look
9:40
here. Let's go out there right now
9:42
quickly. And take a look and do a whoa,
9:45
we'll do an update. This changes, OK, Gold's up four
9:49
dollars, 2360 per oz. Silver up 38 cents, pretty good,
9:54
$30.41. We're back above for right now
9:58
guys. Above $30 per oz if you want to
10:00
get your hands on some. Silver, gold or platinum group
10:03
metals, We all need to say thank you to channel sponsor Pinbex.
10:07
Look, this channel, this show is not possible without the
10:10
generous support of Pinbex. But there's a lot more to it
10:14
than that. They're a company that I found
10:16
before they sponsored Ron's Basement that I could trust for
10:20
my precious metal purchase needs long before they sponsored Ron's
10:25
Basement. I did my homework on the
10:27
company. I'd encourage you to do that as
10:30
well. I compared prices, I looked at
10:33
their selection, and I gave Pinbex a chance.
10:36
I was a happy customer from day one.
10:38
And then I know it was like six or five months later.
10:41
We talked about sponsoring the channel and it's gone great ever
10:45
since. I continue to buy my metals from
10:47
Pinbex. I'm not telling you what to do.
10:50
I'm just recommending that you might benefit from checking out
10:53
Pinbex. Throw them into the mix next
10:55
time you're shopping online for precious metals.
10:57
And if you ever get to a point where you're thinking about
11:00
converting all or part of a precious metals IRA, talk to
11:04
them about that as well because you always want to get the most
11:08
metal for your money. Let's take a look at.
11:10
Silver, I still like the look of that chart.
11:13
Do you? Huh?
11:15
Do you notice this? Up, up, up.
11:18
Look, February, my birthday. Silver, $22.00 today.
11:23
Silver, right? We're not going to say $10
11:25
higher, but almost $10 higher. See what they say about the
11:29
silver market. It rebounds after Tuesday sell
11:32
off gold. Silver ratio pulled back towards
11:35
the 78 level. Almost 80 ounces of silver to
11:38
get one ounce of gold. Are you kidding me?
11:40
A move that a move above the psychologically important $30
11:46
level will push silver towards resistance at 3090 to 3120.
11:52
Platinum, I think was pulling back a little bit, but platinum
11:57
gained some ground amid broad rebound in precious metals
11:59
markets. In case platinum climbs above
12:02
$1000, it will get to the test of the resistance at 1010 or
12:07
1020. So that's the latest there.
12:10
Let's go. Let's go check out quickly.
12:13
I thought this was interesting, our friend the Shanghai Ghost.
12:17
Guys, this is where Silver AG closed on the Shanghai Gold
12:23
Exchange, the physical silver market in China last night.
12:28
OK, $34.34 up almost. 3% in China, all right, this, I mean
12:38
what that's $4.00 higher than what we're seeing here in the
12:41
United States. Yes, I mean that is crazy.
12:47
That's like 12 or 13% higher in that is a physical market.
12:52
We can't drive that point home enough.
12:55
The Shanghai Gold Exchange is a physical market, not a leveraged
12:59
Unicorn fart dust, paper derivative, whatever you want to
13:03
call it. Make believe Fantasy Island,
13:06
Comex, LBMA, the LBMA. OK, Thank you, Susie.
13:12
Everybody say hi to Susie. Thank you, Susie.
13:14
The the LB, the, the London market's I think even worse than
13:18
the US market. It's all paper, it's all make
13:20
believe. And they have we're going to get
13:21
more into that here in just one second.
13:24
OK, here. Oh, here we go.
13:26
All right, let's go over to let's say hi to everybody.
13:29
First I want to say. Hello.
13:32
And thank you for being here. It's a big deal.
13:34
You're here. Please give this a thumbs up.
13:35
Please support our sponsors please.
13:40
Come back. OK, This is not possible without
13:43
you. It's a big deal.
13:44
You're here. We got a lot more really crazy
13:47
shocking, OK, electric shocking, literally silver information
13:52
we're going to cover. But first, we haven't done this
13:55
for a while. Today's a special day.
13:56
We've got 100 thumbs up. We're going to, we're going to
14:00
ping the old, the old silver round we got from Silvershire 10
14:05
times, OK, 10 times to say thank you.
14:13
Who doesn't love to listen to silver paying 678910?
14:18
All right, let's go. Let's go out here and Silver
14:28
Academy, our friend John Little Silver hits $34.42, up 3.4% on
14:34
the Shanghai Gold Exchange, now posting a 13.
14:38
I appreciate John doing the math for us .42% arbitrage spread.
14:43
Don't forget Silver Academy, the silver industry, industry sub
14:47
stack. You'll get awesome emails every
14:50
day. I don't there's there's there's
14:51
like a free one. There's one you can pay for.
14:54
I'm not getting any Commission off.
14:55
This. Anything like that I just.
14:57
Really believe in this content. Metals moving fast from the
15:01
West? To the east, that's not it.
15:04
Silver on fire, up 4% like you wrote this in the middle of the
15:07
night. Silver premiums remain resilient
15:10
on the Shanghai Gold Exchange, closing at $4.00 an ounce.
15:14
The metal is trading. 3442 there's some more info.
15:19
Here we go. Here's the Silver Premiums 5 day
15:23
moving average since May. Right, 2%, three.
15:27
Look, it's just going up and up and up because the Chinese want
15:31
all the silver. And you're gonna understand why
15:33
even more when I tell you about this electric news in the silver
15:38
market. OK, that's the Shanghai.
15:41
Oh, here. This, this is crazy.
15:44
According to David Jensen, bullion banks have a short
15:48
position on silver in London alone, estimated at between 5
15:55
billion and 8 billion oz. Yes, that's billions of Oz.
16:01
In the global annual silver market, that is about 1.2
16:05
billion oz. Total amount of silver produced
16:08
from all the mines in the world, from all the scrap, from all the
16:11
recycling, whatever, right? But we'll, we'll just we'll,
16:15
we'll. Average down and say about a
16:16
billion. But there's almost between 5:00
16:19
and 8:00 times more short. Not just paper contracts short.
16:25
That means they sold that. Silver and they're going to be
16:28
required to buy it back in the future.
16:31
That's how you close. So guys, this is crazy.
16:37
OK, let's just review quickly. Meanwhile, in Shanghai, for
16:42
those unaware of the importance of the Shanghai Gold Exchange,
16:45
you have to deposit a bar to be able to trade.
16:48
It in the spot market. Compare that to London where all
16:52
the trading is paper and pretty much unbanked.
16:55
How long until the West realizes you cannot stop prices?
17:00
Price rises on a physical product like silver which is
17:04
facing strong demand by selling paper IO.
17:07
Us and let's. Just talk on touch on Mexico and
17:09
what John brings up here as well.
17:11
Production down 27%. Mexico is the world's biggest
17:15
silver producer down 27% over the last 19 months.
17:21
Their new president, they just, they just elected a new
17:24
president in in Mexico who's going along with the previous
17:28
president that was anti mining. Like they want to shut down open
17:32
pit mines. Mexico is is the world's biggest
17:36
silver producer. What does that tell us about the
17:39
future supply of silver? OK, the new.
17:43
Oh, there we go. All right, so on to that.
17:47
Let's talk about quickly. Let's get back and say hello.
17:51
Here we go. Here we are.
17:53
Hey guys, welcome back to the basement.
17:56
What's going on June 9th? Are you hearing this?
17:58
Have you heard about June 9th? Have you heard what's happening
18:01
June 9th? We'll talk about it quickly.
18:03
June 9th from what people are saying is going to be a kind of
18:06
sort of the end of the Petro dollar.
18:09
Now, we talked about this earlier, the potential for
18:12
massive inflation. And you can, you can talk all
18:16
types of complicated economic terms about everything else, but
18:19
there's nothing as good for the price of metals as inflation,
18:23
OK, Silver and gold, the devaluation of the dollar when
18:27
the Petro dollar as it begins to die, right?
18:30
This is not going to happen overnight, but is less and less.
18:33
Countries continue to not need dollars to buy oil.
18:39
All those dollars are out there. Guess where they come?
18:42
They come flooding back to the United States.
18:45
It is a it's deflationary or it's it's a devaluing.
18:50
Force on the US dollar on top of the massive amounts of debt we
18:56
already have, we could see a growing continue continuing wave
19:01
of dollars coming back to the United States.
19:04
And the more dollars there are guys that nobody wants, nobody
19:09
needs to buy oil anymore. And again, I'm not saying this
19:12
is going to happen, you know, on, on on on Sunday night,
19:16
right, or anything like that. But it's the massive trend.
19:20
Think about this, right? People don't need dollars.
19:23
If people don't need something, doesn't it become worth less,
19:27
right? OK.
19:29
And when the dollar becomes worth less, don't the prices of
19:33
all goods and services go up and up and up?
19:36
Think about it, OK. And when prices go up and up,
19:40
which we're seeing every day, while at the same time, right,
19:44
because of gross mismanagement of our economy, right, we have a
19:48
stagnating economy, a slowing economy, rising prices, slowing
19:52
economy. It's the S word.
19:54
It's our top secret rhymes, basement S word.
19:58
It's our favorite word. It's stagflation.
20:00
And I'm telling you, we. Cannot underestimate how
20:05
powerful. That could be for the silver and
20:08
gold prices. Thank you, Neil, for the Super
20:10
chat. And Neil says America, America
20:14
has the largest oil reserves in the world.
20:17
Go Petro dollar. Yeah, we do, right?
20:21
We've got tons of oil. It's it's just a bizarro world.
20:24
And thank you, Neil, for pointing that out.
20:28
And we heard something. Do you guys know this is Susie
20:30
right here? Hey, Susie, could you say?
20:34
Something I want to hear if everybody can hear you when you
20:36
talk so. I was just if.
20:41
You already recognized Neil. Yes, I did.
20:42
Yep, I did. Yeah.
20:43
Can you? Hear me loud and clear.
20:45
Yes, guys, let me know if you can hear Susie and then she'll
20:48
report back to me later. Yes, I can.
20:50
Oh. Yes, I can hear you loud and
20:52
clear have. A great day.
20:57
Thanks for being here. OK.
20:59
All right. Back to the meet.
21:01
So the the Petro dollar is a big.
21:02
Deal. Nobody wants the dollar.
21:03
Nobody. All right, nobody.
21:06
And it's going to happen slowly, and then it's going to happen
21:09
quickly, and it could get ugly. And yes, we might be having
21:12
World War Three. We won't go down that path,
21:15
right? But there's so much, I'm telling
21:18
you, in the next six months. It is exciting and frightening
21:23
and we don't want anybody in the world to get hurt.
21:25
But it is, it is, it is a very interesting time.
21:29
Are you feeling it? Does it feel that way to you?
21:32
I mean, I'm 54 years old and no joke, right?
21:35
Right. I, I cannot remember a time in
21:39
my life where things seemed so on edge, so scary, right?
21:46
I mean, it's just, it's, it's just there, there are so many
21:48
factors at play that it's almost too much to think about.
21:52
And it's better off just kind of, I guess, you know, owning
21:55
some physical metals and feeling like, well.
21:57
We're prepared, right? OK.
22:00
What state? Did you hear this right?
22:02
What state? Do you know which state
22:07
recently? Who's the latest state to
22:09
recently pass legal tender legislation?
22:12
This comes from silverseek.com. Louisiana.
22:16
Louisiana reaffirms gold and silver as legal tender.
22:20
It's happening. It's growing.
22:22
OK. Oh, I like the look of that, but
22:25
I I think that's not up to date. Let's run out real quick, just
22:28
for fun, take your blood pressure medicine.
22:31
OK, Come on, silver. Come on. 42 cents.
22:35
OK, we'll take it. Silver 42 cents live in the
22:40
basement Louisiana right that's where buddy rumble Louisiana
22:44
gold guru's from reaffirms gold and silver is legal tender JP
22:47
Cortez a previous. Easy for me to say.
22:51
Pervious desk guest on the on Ron's basement.
22:56
Oh, that's 24. OK, I'm sorry.
22:58
I was looking at the gold to silver ratio over here and I had
23:01
a heart attack. I'm like silver's down $0.99.
23:04
What happened that that's not the case.
23:06
OK, That's the gold to silver ratio currently sitting at 77.5.
23:12
Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry has signed a new law reaffirming
23:17
gold and silver as legal tender, making a symbolic statement in
23:20
favor of sound money principles sponsored by Senator Mark
23:24
Abraham. Marks the 6th pro sound money
23:28
bill passed by a state this year.
23:30
Six bills were passed 6 states this year, under score
23:34
underscoring a growing national trend.
23:38
It's happening guys, little by little.
23:41
I've been following this story now for two years.
23:44
And there were people like Pat Holland from the Missouri
23:46
Freedom Initiative, Daniel Diaz from Citizens for Sound Money.
23:51
Right that have been working on this this these this on a
23:53
nationwide basis, but state by state right little by little
23:58
chip by chip and these chips are turning into big rocks.
24:01
We are getting legal tender legislation in this country.
24:05
Louisiana sound money bill. I'm reading the.
24:07
Yellow part here simply affirms that quote.
24:10
Any gold or silver coin, specie or bullion issued by the United
24:15
States government is considered legal tender whenever
24:18
voluntarily agreed upon by both parties to a contract.
24:21
The measure enjoyed popular support, receiving only one no
24:26
vote on the floor throughout the Louisiana House and Senate.
24:30
This concept is consistent with the US Constitution.
24:33
In fact, Article One, Section 10 reads no state shell coin money
24:38
emit bills of credit or make anything but gold and silver
24:42
coin a legal coin, a tender in payment of debts.
24:46
Sorry, I misread that. All right, here's let's read the
24:49
states. Alabama, Utah, Wisconsin,
24:52
Nebraska and Kentucky all passed legislation in 2024 ending sales
24:57
and capital gains tax on precious metals, declaring that
25:01
central bank digital currencies are not valid money in their
25:04
state, or empowering state treasures to invest the funds in
25:09
gold and silver. Louisiana is the. 6th state.
25:13
To enact sound money laws this year with five other states
25:17
doing so. Why is that important to you as
25:19
a silver and gold investor? You probably don't live in
25:22
Louisiana, OK, You probably don't.
25:25
But on a state by state basis, as these states continue to pass
25:29
this legislation, it's it protects our rights as citizens
25:34
to hold silver and gold and it will continue to grow and we
25:37
will continue. To be supportive, let's talk
25:40
about absolute. Craziness in silver demand.
25:46
OK, you've heard the Silver Institute get criticized, but
25:49
what if there's the source of demand?
25:52
That is just literally unbelievable.
25:54
And it was like last night, as I wasn't even really looking for
25:58
this. It fell in my lap.
25:59
But I was like, I got to share this with the basement dwellers
26:03
because we all. Know this is going.
26:05
On OK, But when you look at this information that I put together,
26:10
I think it's just absolutely overwhelming the amount of
26:14
silver that is gonna be demanded by the solar industry alone.
26:20
OK, We're not talking about medical sanitation, electronic
26:25
microchips. We are only.
26:27
Talking about right now, solar demand and that alone.
26:30
We don't even have to talk about the other stuff, although it's
26:33
great it's there. We know silver has all these
26:34
wonderful qualities. But the demand for, and we know
26:38
this top analyst, what did he tell us, right?
26:40
The guy from TD Securities, he talked about in the next year or
26:45
two, right, a squeeze that we could have a squeeze in the
26:49
price of silver because the physical demand is so huge.
26:53
What did we see earlier when we looked at the price of silver in
26:57
China? What is that telling us, right?
27:00
Why is the price of physical silver in China $4.00 per oz
27:04
more than it is in the United States?
27:06
I wonder, right, Why is India importing 120 million ounces of
27:12
silver during the first quarter? I wonder.
27:15
Right. And guys, what does it mean to
27:18
you when you think about the fact that Yeah, sure, yeah,
27:21
sure. And the guy from TD Securities
27:23
talked about this as well, the big fancy He's not an analyst,
27:27
he's a strategist anyway, talked about the fact that.
27:32
Yeah, sure, there's a big above ground supply of silver stored
27:36
up. Do you have part of it in your
27:38
basement? Yes, you do, right?
27:40
Do you? Yes.
27:41
But there's this big massive, you know, there's the world is
27:45
demanding all this more silver than is being produced and but
27:48
that's OK, that's OK 'cause there's this massive above
27:52
ground supply that'll last forever.
27:55
No, it won't, right? It won't.
27:58
And even the guy from TD Security said he thinks.
28:01
That that level that people say is above ground, which is is
28:05
not, It's finite. It's finite, OK, And it's going
28:08
down because every year they're sucking more and more.
28:11
It's like what we're in our. 4th year or fifth year of a silver
28:14
deficit. So think about this.
28:17
Think about that, right, right. You, you, you've got, it's
28:20
crazy, OK? You have the world demanding so
28:24
much more silver than is being produced.
28:27
You have that demand growing and sure, they're sucking little
28:30
bits out of the above ground supply, but that above ground
28:33
supply is shrinking, right? Because we're demanding more
28:39
than we're taking in. Now listen to this woof.
28:41
Buckle in buckle. In because we're going to go on
28:43
an electric soul. OK, time for almost knocked my
28:47
water over. Hold on here.
28:49
I'm going to ring the cowbell for you basement dwellers.
28:54
That's for 200 thumbs up that's a basement tradition, but let's
28:58
go on this unbelievable ride first.
29:01
I want you to you got you got it you got to believe me on this
29:04
and then I'm going to give you proof on average, every solar
29:08
panel that you look at next time you look at a solar panel,
29:12
envision 2/3 of an ounce of silver.
29:15
OK here it is right here, 20 grams, which unless I'm really
29:21
screwed up is 2/3 of an ounce of silver.
29:23
The use of silver in solar panels.
29:25
The average solar panel contains oh here.
29:28
Right OK, I I barely exaggerated .64320 grams of silver.
29:37
OK, according to the Silver institute this added up to 140.
29:42
But nobody believes the Silver Institute.
29:44
But here's the key. Each solar panel you look at
29:48
guys has 2/3 of an ounce of silver in it.
29:52
Now this is where it gets crazy. OK, the new technology uses more
29:58
silver per panel. The newer for the newer types of
30:02
solar panels, the current panels use 2/3 of an ounce.
30:06
OK, they're called. Perk panels.
30:08
The newer panels are called top con and wait till you hear this
30:18
because I have proof. Hold on here, here we go.
30:24
This is from Solar Magazine. What a what a better source that
30:27
we could ask for. Solar cell technology used
30:30
demand manufacturer PV modules is constantly evolving as new,
30:34
more advanced and more efficient technologies are developed.
30:37
Tunnel oxide passivated contact top con Solar technology is a
30:45
new development with potential to replace.
30:49
The perk passivity, emitted rear contact perk in high efficient
30:54
emitter rear whatever perk and perk perk and perk are the
30:58
current ones. Top con is the new type of of
31:00
cell that's being developed. Top con solar cells represent an
31:04
upgrade and more efficient technology compared to the older
31:07
cells. This is what I want you to see.
31:11
Orange the main set back of this new technology.
31:18
The main as compared to the current technology.
31:20
The perk perk is that top con solar cells require a larger
31:24
amount of silver for production. The silver increase translates
31:30
into a higher manufacturing price.
31:32
However, a new developments might prove successful in
31:38
reducing the required amount of silver, might prove successful
31:42
while still delivering similar or even higher efficiencies and
31:47
reducing production costs. So they're telling us that the
31:51
new cells hold on, Hold on one second for me, guys.
31:56
Hold on. The new technology uses more
32:08
silver per cell. That's good news.
32:11
OK. Oh, they might find a way, might
32:13
find a way to get that level down.
32:15
OK, might #1 OK, if we just look out the next one to two 3-4
32:20
years, they aren't going to figure out a way to get rid of
32:23
the silver or to reduce it. OK, so that's not going
32:27
anywhere. And this is where it gets
32:29
absolutely staggering. So buckle in 'cause now we're
32:33
going to take a look and what they.
32:34
Call the fancy term they use you want to learn.
32:37
A fancy term is thrifting. Figuring out a way to use less
32:42
silver. But they're not the people I'm
32:44
talking to saying that might, might, might be two to three
32:48
years out if it were even to happen.
32:51
OK, so let's go to this article. And do you think, do you think
33:03
the world's biggest solar farm, This is from Microsoft.
33:07
The world's biggest solar farm goes online.
33:09
Big enough to power a country. OK there, Look at all those.
33:16
Each one of those. Those are probably the older
33:18
form. Each one of those has 2/3.
33:21
Of an ounce of silver that's gone, right, If it possibly
33:26
could ever be recycled, that's not going to be for 15 or 20
33:29
years. So when you look at that, that's
33:31
each one of those has 2/3 of an ounce of silver.
33:34
And I think when I say each one, I mean like, if you look down
33:37
here, what is there four up in that row?
33:41
Each one of those four, What's 4 * 2/3?
33:45
I'd like an ounce and a half, right?
33:47
Four, 4 * 2 thirds, 868 thirds, no more than make an ounce two
33:56
and two and a two and 2/3 oz. Anyway, I digress.
34:00
The world's biggest solar plan has come online in China,
34:03
capable of powering a small country.
34:06
With its annual capacity of more than 6 billion kilowatts.
34:10
OK here. This is what this, this is.
34:13
This is what's getting crazy. The facility in a desert region
34:16
Northwest Providence of Jingjong, covers 200,000 acres,
34:22
roughly the same area as New York City.
34:26
OK, that's China. We already know China's sucking
34:30
in all the silver for their electric cars and for microchips
34:33
and everything else. Guys. 200,000 acres, one solar
34:39
park, one solar farm, whatever they call it.
34:41
OK. Does it get crazier?
34:44
Does it you wanna get crazier? This is even crazier.
34:47
It. I'm gonna say it.
34:49
I'm gonna say two more times. One more time.
34:51
Now each one of those panels has 2/3 of an ounce of silver in it.
34:55
That's gone. Bye.
34:56
Bye, right, Gone for a long, long time if it's ever able to
35:01
be recycled. OK, let's go to this next
35:04
article. CNN, the children's news
35:07
network. What's going on in India?
35:11
OK, a coal billionaire builds the world's biggest clean energy
35:15
plant, and it's five times the size of Paris.
35:20
Does it seem to you that China and India are in like a contest
35:23
to see who can build the world's biggest solar farms, right?
35:28
Look at this. Look.
35:32
You can't really see them in that picture.
35:34
But anyway, that's that, that those will be millions and
35:38
millions and millions and millions and millions of Oz of
35:42
silver gone five times the size of Paris, visible from space,
35:47
the world's biggest energy plant.
35:49
Enough electricity to power Switzerland, The demand for
35:52
silver enough to wipe out the Comex and the LBMA.
35:56
The scale. The scale of the project.
35:58
Transforming the Baron Salt Desert on the edge of western
36:01
India into one of the most important sources of clean
36:04
energy anywhere in the planet is so overwhelming, the man in
36:07
charge can't keep up. I don't even do the math
36:10
anymore, Sagar Adnani said. Well, Sagar, you better be
36:14
buying a lot of silver. And based upon recent data we've
36:17
got from India, they are indeed let's and we got more, it gets
36:21
more interesting. But let's review something also
36:25
about solar, OK? This is not Ron's basement solar
36:29
channel, but solar is so critical to the demand profile
36:33
for silver right now. And again, there's all these
36:36
other uses, right? But I want you to think about
36:38
something about solar. Number one, it's clean energy.
36:42
We know that's all the rage, right?
36:44
It's clean energy, but something that nobody else talks about.
36:48
Here's a little Ron's basement insight that we, that US
36:51
basement dwellers will know that most other people won't talk
36:54
about. When you think about solar, it's
36:56
like it's the easiest, most immediate, reliable form of
37:01
electricity. All those people in India and
37:04
China that are getting rich, right?
37:06
They're in a different situation than in America.
37:08
Their middle class, their consumer class is growing.
37:11
Right. And don't forget, combined India
37:13
and China have 2.8 billion people.
37:17
So we got hundreds of millions of people that are moving out of
37:21
dirt floor huts into little houses, buying refrigerators for
37:26
the first time, buying television sets for the first
37:29
time, needing electricity for the first time.
37:33
What's the most immediate, clean, environmentally friendly
37:38
way for those people to get electricity?
37:40
Solar. Whether it's at a giant solar
37:42
farm like they're building there, or if they stick some
37:46
panels on their roof, it doesn't matter.
37:48
They all take at least 2/3 of an ounce of silver they stick a
37:52
panel on. Think how easy it is to provide.
37:54
Let's say you got 10,000 people in a village in India that you
37:57
want to provide electricity to. Are you going to build a nuclear
38:01
plant, Right. It'll take 15 years.
38:03
It'll take 10 years. I, I think nuclear's a great way
38:06
to produce electricity. I'm not anti nuclear, right?
38:09
But realistically, are you gonna build a nuclear?
38:12
Plant Are you gonna build a coal?
38:13
Plant No, not coal. A bunch of my neighbors work for
38:17
the Saint Louis was the coal capital of the United States.
38:21
Coal bad, right? We've been told that right?
38:24
Coal's bad, no? Are they going to put up giant
38:28
wind? For those the the the big giant.
38:30
Propeller things are the stupidest thing in the world.
38:33
I'm sorry, I shouldn't be so rude.
38:35
Anyone who's in in in favor of wind electricity.
38:39
I just, I don't get it at the when I look at that, I don't see
38:42
that being. I drive by them like when we go
38:45
to Wisconsin. And half the time they're not
38:47
spinning, you know, these massive, I'm like, those got to
38:50
cost a lot of money. They got to be dangerous to work
38:53
on. So anyway, I digress.
38:55
These people, billions in China and India that are getting
38:59
electricity for the first time. It's plug and play, right?
39:03
Solar green, it's immediate. And also if they stick them on
39:07
their roof or in their backyard, you don't need to run miles of
39:10
high tension distribution wires and distribution networks and
39:15
all that. I'm telling you.
39:17
This is a. Recent for me revelation, but
39:20
are you feeling this? I'm really becoming a believer
39:24
in this massive solar revolution that's taking over the world and
39:28
it's going to be very, very good for the for the for the silver
39:33
market. I digress.
39:34
We got a few more. It's, it's just, it's
39:36
unbelievable. All this just came.
39:38
And like said, you need to share this Ron with the basement
39:41
dwellers. OK, here, here's a quick
39:44
article. We won't dig a deep into this
39:45
one. Some countries could meet their
39:48
total electric electricity needs from floating solar panels.
39:54
OK, look floating panels and look at all those ounces of
39:58
silver stacked up. We know how heavy silver is.
40:01
We don't want, we don't want that silver to, to, to, to sink
40:05
to the bottom of the sea. Floating solar panels could
40:10
supply all the electricity needs, new research has shown
40:13
the the study by researchers from Bangor and Lancaster
40:17
universities in the UK Center for Ecology and Hydrology.
40:21
Aimed to calculate the global potential for deploying low
40:24
carbon floating solar arrays, the researchers calculated the
40:27
daily electric outputs. When you get into all these
40:29
volts and watts. Anyway, more good news.
40:32
Now let's go to this one. Our friends at the silver
40:35
Academy again. Yeah, he's going to start
40:37
charging me for using all this great information he puts out
40:40
the number of solar installations.
40:42
What about the United States Oh yeah, we forgot about that.
40:46
The. Richest country in the world,
40:48
right? Exceptional.
40:51
Will double solar installations will double by 20-30 and triple
40:57
by 2034. So it goes on here as well.
41:01
This gives all the different, you know, here one GW of silver
41:06
usage is given as 500,000 ounces.
41:11
All right, it's just massive guy.
41:13
Silver used by the solar industry is the #3 ranked
41:17
industries. I don't I, I, I'm not
41:18
questioning John. I know that's the official.
41:21
I think solar I, I just in the last week I've become more and
41:26
we know the military's number one and aerospace #2 Oh my gosh.
41:31
So if, if, if that is indeed true, Right.
41:36
I mean, I can't believe what's going on with silver and solar
41:41
in there. And but the military could be
41:43
even higher. Unbelievable developments.
41:51
Are we there? Did I lose?
41:52
Are we still alive? Hello.
41:54
Hello. OK.
41:56
I think, I think we're still alive.
41:57
OK, I'm gonna remind you one last time I said one more time,
42:02
each of those solar panels has 2/3 of an ounce of silver and
42:07
that's projected to go way, way higher.
42:11
Wow, unbelievable. Down the brain said something
42:14
last night. OK, for those of you who are
42:16
invested in precious metal mining stocks, I am invested in
42:19
precious metal mining stocks. I own shares in First Mining
42:22
Gold Channel sponsor. You can learn more about them at
42:25
firstmininggold.com. I've owned shares in that
42:27
company for years. I only take sponsorships from
42:30
companies that I do business with, OK, that I own or do
42:34
business with. That's why I'm so happy about
42:36
Pendex, right? Also, I've owned shares in
42:38
Fortuna Silver. Yesterday was a very difficult
42:41
day for Fortuna Silver. We're going to talk about that a
42:44
little bit here in a second. OK.
42:46
But that actually is my largest single holding.
42:49
I never am giving you financial advice in any way, shape or
42:52
form. I'll share with you what I do,
42:55
but bear in mind I'm not a financial planner.
42:57
I'm not. And I and I'm, I'm often right,
43:00
but I'm also wrong from time to time.
43:03
So when I talk to you about what I do, you need to do your own
43:08
due diligence and make your own decisions.
43:10
But down the brain, right? This is one of the smartest guys
43:14
on the planet, OK? And I'm I'm I'm connected to
43:17
him. Very fortunate, Don, Thank you.
43:19
OK, I appreciate we were talking last night and he said this is a
43:23
fact. The the most powerful things are
43:25
often the most simple, right? He said, Ronnie, everybody sees
43:30
the value in gold and silver. The world right is seen right
43:35
now. Before our very eyes.
43:38
We're living through a transformative time right now,
43:41
guys. What does that mean?
43:43
Right? We're seeing the value.
43:45
I'm not talking about the price, but we're going to see the
43:48
price. Unicorn fart.
43:50
Does dollars, Fiat, whatever of gold and silver continue to go
43:55
higher? That's what I believe, but what
43:58
people are really beginning to rediscover.
44:02
I think that's the best way to describe it.
44:04
You've, you, you and I, I rediscovered it, you know,
44:08
partially 20 years ago and more and more so over the last
44:12
decades, and it's in particular over the last couple years.
44:16
Rediscover the value, right? Rediscovering the real value of
44:20
precious metals. Right.
44:22
And it's happening all over the world, everywhere.
44:26
But Don the Brain said this, OK? The world has yet to realize the
44:32
value in the companies. They dig it up out of the
44:36
ground, the mining companies. Guys, there's a huge lag, OK?
44:41
I was talking with another smart friend of mine, Mr. M, last
44:44
night, I'll call him. He's a successful architect,
44:47
very smart guy. OK.
44:49
And we were talking about the mining.
44:51
OK, There's a big lag. OK, this, this, this big massive
44:55
lag between the gold price and the silver price.
44:58
We're still at really historically very high gold to
45:01
silver ratio. It's like an elastic band,
45:04
right? Remember.
45:06
All right, I'll just show you this quickly.
45:07
This is the gold price, right? The gold truck.
45:13
I thought I had it written on there.
45:14
Anyway, the band is the is the gold to silver ratio.
45:19
This is the silver price. It has been gold has been going,
45:24
moving right. Silver has been coming along,
45:28
but this, this, this difference, this gold to silver ratio is
45:32
still, it's like a bungee cord. It's still very stretched even
45:35
at 80. That's why people talk about a
45:38
slingshot move, right? Some people say, oh, it could
45:43
get to 1 to one. I don't think that'll happen,
45:45
right? I think that's very out of the
45:46
question. But historically we've had the
45:49
gold to silver ratio get to like 15 to 1:20 to 1:30 to 1 even in
45:55
recent times. The the recent average when I
45:58
look at it is more like 60 to one.
46:00
But what's even more interesting is you've got gold, you've got
46:04
silver. And then even behind silver
46:07
lagging are like silver miners that have just been beaten to a
46:11
pulp, right? So we could.
46:13
Have we were talking about this like this move in silver
46:17
slingshot and then the miners who are connected by another
46:21
rubber band, Sorry, I don't have any more rubber bands could even
46:24
go further. I mean, we've seen, we've seen
46:26
situations in the past when, when, when mining stocks and I'm
46:32
not don't make any investment decisions or anything, but we've
46:36
seen mining stocks literally during previous bull markets.
46:40
Go up 10 times in value, 20 times, some of them even like
46:46
100 times in value, right? We're talking about stocks that
46:50
were trading for a dollar. Thank you, Susie.
46:56
A dollar going up to $100 a share.
46:59
I mean, the potential, the leverage is there and just the
47:02
value in my opinion is astounding.
47:04
I want to talk about quickly. Let's go.
47:07
Let's go look at Fortuna Silver and see how they're doing today.
47:13
Yesterday was a tough day for Fortuna.
47:15
I'm gonna be talking with Jorge Ganoza here in a little bit
47:20
later this morning, so you can look for an interview with him
47:26
later tonight. And let's let's go out and take
47:32
a look and see how they're doing today.
47:34
They put out some more information today.
47:36
OK, Holden, steady today. Fortuna is refinancing some of
47:42
their debt. I'm going to get more
47:43
information on that. Like I said earlier today, I
47:46
would I want to draw your attention to one thing with
47:48
Fortuna though. Year to date.
47:53
Hold on here. OK, You can see this chart here.
47:56
Sure. Yesterday was a very no fun day
47:59
for anyone who owns. I mean the stock was recently at
48:01
$6.24 down to $5. OK.
48:05
But guys, even if we go back to February just of this year, the
48:10
stock was around 2. 50 per share.
48:13
Right. I mean, really in the last three
48:16
months, even where we are now, the stock is up almost 100%.
48:22
I'm never giving financial advice.
48:23
You know, they became an official sponsor of the channel
48:26
back here when it was around a little under $4.00 per share.
48:31
I guess what I'm trying to drive home here is, you know, Fortuna,
48:34
yes, yesterday was a difficult day.
48:35
I think it was a market overreaction to what's going on.
48:41
But overall, Fortuna has been delivering and, and and I
48:46
believe still a very, very attractive and good, a good
48:51
company. But like I said, look for an
48:53
interview with between myself and the CEO, Jorge Ganoza later
48:58
today. Thank you Derek for the Super
49:00
chat. Wow, that's crazy.
49:02
What other proof do we have? Thank you.
49:05
Super appreciate it. You know what, let's put this up
49:07
here. We got more to talk about guys,
49:10
and here we go. Thank you for the Super chat and
49:16
there we go uh oh, that's an example.
49:19
I don't want that up. Welcome to the basement yes,
49:25
let's touch on this right, just the worldwide not that here we
49:30
go from Bloomberg. I found this interesting.
49:33
Bloomberg is now reporting this right?
49:35
We already talked about this, but now Bloomberg is telling us
49:38
you can now buy gold bars from vending machines in South Korea.
49:42
We covered this story but what we want to keep in mind is this
49:46
is mainstream media. This is kind of one of the one
49:50
of the one of the more recent mainstream media mentions that
49:54
I've heard of the gold and silver.
49:56
So we want to keep an eye. That's good, right?
49:59
People all over the world are realizing the benefits of
50:04
getting into gold and silver. This is very interesting chart
50:08
from Bo Ronnie. Global broad money supply
50:11
reached 129. We talked about inflation.
50:14
We talked about how inflation is so, so bullish for the gold and
50:19
silver price. Global broad money supply
50:22
reached 129 trillion in December of 2023.
50:26
Look at the growth from 2000 through 2023.
50:31
We went from 26 trillion. OK, that wasn't that long ago.
50:35
Do you remember where you were on Y2 Ki Do right?
50:39
There was $26 trillion in money supply in the world all the way
50:43
up to 129. Now where it gets interesting
50:46
and shows us how devalued all this paper money has become that
50:52
that shows almost A5 fold increase over that period of
50:56
time. At the same time the the nominal
50:59
GDP only went up by three times, real GDP only went up by two
51:05
times, OK, and CPI only up by 2.6.
51:10
Guys, inflation's got a lot of catching up to do.
51:13
I'm telling you. We are going to be in for a very
51:17
interesting coming number of months.
51:20
OK, this next six months, I believe the hens really do come
51:26
home to roost. So much happening in the world.
51:29
What do you think? Oh, yeah, I got to ring the
51:32
gong. I'll ring that here in one
51:33
second. I got some key points I want to
51:35
talk about, though. Six months, Put it in your head.
51:39
Can I still say, well, now 5 1/2 months, it's happening.
51:43
OK, Major announcements, potential most likely out of the
51:48
bricks, major escalation in war in Europe.
51:52
OK, major issues in the United States, probably socially I can
51:58
think, I think we can say politically we got major issues
52:01
in the United States. The world continuing this kind
52:06
of slow motion train wreck with the US dollar, which is gonna
52:10
push all kinds of dollars, the Petro dollar falling apart and
52:15
you cannot under, under. It's so critical for you to
52:19
understand why that alone, right?
52:21
They're not going to talk about it on CNN.
52:23
They aren't going to talk about it on Fox News.
52:26
They aren't going to talk about it on any mainstream media,
52:29
right? The fact that this Petro dollar
52:31
falling apart is, is in some ways could be, you know, if this
52:35
all comes to fruition, a catastrophic outcome for the
52:40
United States, for inflation. I'm telling you, the middle
52:44
American who doesn't own anything right now, who doesn't
52:47
own a home, maybe doesn't own a car, is really just, you know,
52:51
renting a place to live, living paycheck to paycheck is in for
52:54
some very difficult times ahead. If you're in that situation,
52:59
man, get yourself out of debt, right?
53:01
I say that to everybody. Try to save up some money,
53:04
right? Maybe buy some silver, buy a
53:06
little bit of gold, whatever you can to prepare yourself.
53:09
I could be dead wrong maybe. And I will sit here on Election
53:13
Day is D-Day. If we've not had massive issues
53:16
by that day, I will sit down here and tell you how wrong I
53:19
was. But I almost know in my gut that
53:22
we're heading toward what like, like there's just too many, too
53:26
many factors out there that are coming together that it's, it's
53:31
inevitable that we're going to have some difficult, difficult
53:36
times. You know, I, it just it, it
53:38
doesn't feel possible that we don't.
53:40
I hope I'm wrong. I do want to say thank you for
53:43
being here. Oh, I got to ring that boom
53:45
gong. Susie would.
53:46
Susie would have killed me. I'm.
53:48
Going to ring the gong for 300 thumbs up.
53:50
The old golden gong for you basement dwellers.
53:53
Look at that thing. Shimmering, huh?
53:55
Yeah, I wish it was gold. Probably would be so heavy I
53:58
couldn't hold it. 300 thumbs up, three rings of the gong.
54:08
Hey, I'm going to do something a little different.
54:09
I'm going to dive into the comments.
54:11
I want to say, you know, this morning I noticed ODBG.
54:14
Do you guys know who ODBG is? That would be old dirty bastard
54:19
garage. I crowned him the guy with the
54:21
best. Username on the Internet.
54:24
He was the first one here today. Thank you ODBG for being here.
54:27
But thank you guys, each and every one of you.
54:30
Man, we are silver and gold enthusiasts.
54:32
Are you scared? Do we have reason to be scared?
54:35
OK, anybody have a question going on?
54:39
Yes. Nice to see Ron still.
54:42
Plugging away a face for radio Hello Annie Oakley, hello
54:46
Patrick Pearl. Expect some more antics.
54:50
Yeah, there's a lot of hey, let's go out and do an update on
54:52
the silver price guys, that's take your blood pressure
54:55
medicine. Everybody take a deep breath.
55:00
This is not the current price, so let's do an update.
55:03
The way things are moving, I'm gonna press the refresh here.
55:06
I'm telling you, we could have gold and silver down or it could
55:10
be up a lot different from here, so.
55:12
Up 53 cents. OK, we'll take that.
55:15
Good. Good, good, good.
