- 0:20SPEAKER_02: Yo, what is going on, people?
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: We are back with week three of the NFL season.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: Of course, this is the uh bald-headed episode, but you know what?
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: As bad as this hair could get, it it could be worse.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Like, I could be a Bears fan, I could be a supporter of the Bears because exactly the way that bears right now, and the situation they're currently in, with one, their quarterback overreacting over a playground issue.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: Uh, right now the backup quarterback is in concussion protocol, and Case Keenum looks like he's gonna be the starter, but of course, I am Natter, and this is the fantasy football space podcast.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: Of course, Tip, what do you think about all this going on?
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: Dude, this is it's been a complete travesty what's happening to these quarterbacks this first two weeks.
- 1:11SPEAKER_03: We haven't even played three weeks of the season, and we just hear about Jackson Dart.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: We heard about Caleb Williams and his hamstring injury.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: Look, I'm gonna tell you something, guys.
- 1:20SPEAKER_03: You know, I'm no spring chicken, but I stay active, and I popped a hammy one time, and that that shit hurts, dude.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: That that is not that is not for for for for anybody to endure.
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: So, I mean, I don't know what happened.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: Well, uh, you know, it I'm not gonna say it, I'm not gonna sit here and say that he probably he probably thought it in it was gonna be a worst case scenario.
- 1:43SPEAKER_03: Whatever pain or whatever he felt on the field, I think he probably was like, This is I I I worked this hard for this season.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: We know what we can build upon, and now it's all kaput, and that's probably what his thought process was.
- 1:58SPEAKER_03: But it wasn't a great look.
- 1:59SPEAKER_03: I mean, it looked worse than obviously what it is, but man, Tyson Bajant being on concussion protocol, Case Keenum.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: I think we're gonna be running the ball, guys.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Man, Nico, what do you think?
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, B flow just had those boys in shambles over there, they had no clue what was coming at them.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: And I know the mud bowl kind of made it like you know, difficult for a lot of the pass catchers for the Bears, as well as obviously for Caleb.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: But when you combine those two things together, um, I certainly think credit goes to uh a lot of it goes to Brian Flores in that defense, which I think we'll be talking about a little bit further down the road.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, it's a tough time to be a quarterback in the NFL right now.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Um, so we put out our waiver wire uh list on Tuesday for some guys to be targeting, specifically like in super flex leagues, or if you lost some of your quarterbacks last week.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, it's a tough situation for dubbears.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Let me tell you that weather, terrible, but of course, we're also gonna be talking about all of it and of course more when it comes to the NFL scope, especially when it comes to navigating all the injuries that's currently happening to the quarterback situations.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: That being said, if you had any anybody on those teams, you were probably screwed to begin with.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: But of course, I also want to remind everybody that we are currently live on YouTube at 6 p.m.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Pacific time.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: That's 9 p.m.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: Eastern Central Time, where of course you guys could join us live on the show on any type of podcasting YouTube X type of platform where you could, of course, join the conversation, join, ask any questions, debate us, of course, criticize anything we ever get wrong.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: Actually, that isn't me.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be tip major specifically on a lot of those stuff.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: But of course, hey man, we got a lot to talk about today.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: I mean, what do we start with?
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: Tell me.
- 3:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, you you know what?
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: Let me we gotta talk about some winners and losers.
- 3:57SPEAKER_04: Winners and losers.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: Let's go.
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: Uh, don't do that matter.
- 4:05SPEAKER_03: No, no, we don't need to dancing, bro.
- 4:07SPEAKER_04: No, stick to the talking, yeah.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: Stick to stick to podcasting, bro.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: Dancing topics right now.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: I know right now.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: Um, I should just show it off the camera with the way my hair is right now, but anyway.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: So, recapping week two, tip give me a winner.
- 4:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, man, it's the Browns, dude.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: Like, I mean, they went out there and took that bulletin board material that Mike Tomlin gave that team, and they went out there and showed they showed their behinds.
- 4:36SPEAKER_03: Um, Deshaun Watson, he had another beautiful throw to Denzel Boston, and Denzel Boston has slowly become a thing.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: Like, like, well, we have been talking about him on the show, but he is becoming a thing in this offense.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: And we knew that it was gonna be Denzel Boston at the beginning, and then a little bit of KC Concepcion towards the middle and later part of the season.
- 4:57SPEAKER_03: So I don't think we should give up on KC Concepcion, but right now it's Denzel Boston in the passing game, and he and Deshaun Watson have a special connection going on.
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna sit here and I'm gonna say this week two going against Baker Mayfield, Baker Mayfield had a chance to stick it to his team.
- 5:16SPEAKER_03: I don't know, there was a weather situation that happened there as well.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: I don't know if that kind of killed it, but Baker and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they should have been up a big time.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: They should not have even allowed the Browns to do what the Browns did.
- 5:30SPEAKER_03: And so they are a big winner for me.
- 5:32SPEAKER_03: But you know, there's always a winner, and then you're always gonna have a loser because, like Ricky Bobby said, if you ain't first, you're last.
- 5:39SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna tell you right now, the loser for me is the Giants pass catchers.
- 5:48SPEAKER_03: What a day, what a day.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: I mean, they come from week one and have this to build upon going against the Rams, and a lot of people were saying that the Rams would lose.
- 5:59SPEAKER_03: A lot of people were slating the Rams to lose.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: Rams came out there and punched them straight in the mouth.
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: But the biggest punch or gut punch was Jackson Dart leaving the game and ultimately now being out for the season.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: Uh, I've I think you know, this is this sucks for Isaiah Likely, who had a great connection with uh Jackson Dart.
- 6:19SPEAKER_03: This sucks for Malik Neighbors because now Malik Neighbors is gonna get stronger and stronger and stronger as the weeks go, and he's not gonna have Jackson Dart.
- 6:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he'll have Jameis Winston who Jameis Winston look, he's gonna throw the ball, so that's one thing you can look at.
- 6:33SPEAKER_03: Um, this really hurts a lot of the pass catchers, it hurts a lot of the offense in general, especially from the run game.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: So I'll be curious to see what any of them can do going forward, man.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: Nico, like it hurts to ever put the Browns in a winner section.
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't think in their franchise history they should ever be considered in the winner section.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: Uh, yeah, how do you think you know at the at the beginning of every single season, every team in the NFL thinks that they have an opportunity and they're going into week three now at one and one, they won a game on the road in tough conditions there in the fourth quarter.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: And tip mentioned it like the Buccaneers left a lot of meat on the bone, man.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, their kicker Chase McLaughlin, he had four field goals on Sunday, they just could not capitalize once they got across the 50-yard line.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: And to tip's point, I mean, Denzel Boston is looking pretty nice.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: We've talked about him in past shows, we talked about him going into the rookie draft.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: I compared him to Drake London, not saying he was going to be Drake London, but the type of profile receiver that he is kind of that big play, go up and get it kind of guy.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: And I mean, so far this season, he's had two big splash plays.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: Browns are probably gonna be in a lot of game scripts that force them to throw the ball a lot.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: Denzel Boston.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Hope y'all got him on his on your waiver wire uh yesterday or this morning.
- 8:01SPEAKER_02: Well, there we go.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: While we're still having you on the microphone, give us your winner to talk about.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's uh it's the Panthers offense, guys.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: Um, Bryce Young is the QB2 uh through two weeks now.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: And now I do think, do I think he's gonna finish there?
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: Like, absolutely not.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: No shot.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: But Bryce has 32 points in week one, 24 points in week two, and albeit they were kind of against some mid defenses, and they are they're just passing the ball significantly more than they have in the past, which makes volume alone Panthers players more fantasy relevant.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Now, I didn't project Bryce Young to be this good or the QB2, let alone, but we've seen guys like Trevor Lawrence, like it takes them a couple years perhaps to get going, like high draft capital, first round picks, um, to really blossom.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: And I'm not crowning Bryce Young to be that yet, but Young is currently fourth in EPA, second in yards, third in yards per attempt, and fourth in fantasy points per opportunity.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: And that's only behind Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Brock Purdy, and all of that and all of that trickles to Jalen Coker.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: It trickles down to Tet McMillan, guys that you know are flex-worthy options, especially Coker, and it kind of raises the ceiling for Tet McMillan.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: So, Panthers offense, congratulations, you are my winner for week two.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: Man, Tib, do you remember like three weeks ago?
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: Three weeks ago, Nico said Bryce Young is trash, he's garbage.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: He shouldn't even be a starter.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: I remember he's listening I did.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: Well, I didn't say he shouldn't be a starter, don't be putting words in my mouth.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: I just you know, not a fan.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, leading up to this year, he's averaged under 200 yards passing per game.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: Um, it's just one of those situations where it's been two weeks, not ready to crown him.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: But the biggest winner, I think, is the those wide receivers and Chuba Hubbard, especially with Jonathan going down now, too.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: Like just the players around that Panthers environment is a lot more fantasy football friendly, and that's the real winner in this situation.
- 10:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and at Jalen Coker, um, the connection that he and Bryce Young have and have been working on that that speaks volumes, and that's giving Bryce Young confidence, and that's what you're seeing out there on the field with him and Coker, and it's and it's working with Ted McMillan too, because I mean he's a beast.
- 10:33SPEAKER_03: Uh, so so it is working on all facets, and and I gotta tell you, what Dave Canales has done with these offenses that he's worked with is just been really nice to watch, and especially with somebody like a lot of people, especially in the fantasy community, they were writing off Bryce Young.
- 10:52SPEAKER_03: And for him to be doing what he's doing right now and to prove everybody wrong, um, you know, like look out.
- 10:57SPEAKER_03: I think this offense is a good offense, and I think it's gonna maintain.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: Now give us a loser.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: Well, one thing I want to say there too is he's got Cleveland and Detroit on deck, so it's not gonna stop anytime soon.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: So we'll see after their week five bye against Philadelphia, where it gets a little bit trickier.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: But um, my biggest loser from week two is it's the Chargers, man.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, no listen, no offense to the Raiders, the Cardinals, they're both improving teams, but these dudes lost badly to those two teams, and now you look at our their upcoming schedule, they're going to Buffalo, they're at Seattle versus Denver, at Kansas City bye week.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: I'm not done yet.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: They got the Rams, Houston, Baltimore.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Then it slows down a little bit and they get the Jets.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, for a team that was projected to have an MVP caliber type of quarterback, um, a high aspiration type of offense with Mike McDaniel there, like this is kind of falling apart quickly a little bit, you know, from a fantasy standpoint.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: I think the guys that we care about the most um are gonna be fine, you know, between like Hampton, Herbert, and Ladd McConkie, but as a team, as a situation, as a charger fan, not that I am one, but like this is a tough, tough start, and through week two, they are some losers.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, let me tell you, it hurt to watch.
- 12:26SPEAKER_02: At first, first I was like playing them really well.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: Let's go, Tip.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: Let's go, Tip.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, with a Raiders.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: Do we have a need a real team?
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Do we have a soundbite for the Raiders?
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we need to get the Raiders soundbite.
- 12:42SPEAKER_03: We do um like can can I can I just talk my shit real quick to these charges?
- 12:49SPEAKER_02: Go for it, go for it, get it out of the way, get it out of the way.
- 12:53SPEAKER_03: Um no, like, no, so so uh you know, I saw this coming from a mile away, and if you couldn't he like like look at what this offense has not done.
- 13:05SPEAKER_03: What is Mike McDaniel's off his offense is predicated on explosive explosiveness?
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: They have not looked explosive at all.
- 13:12SPEAKER_03: But Marion Hampton, he to me, he's just a guy.
- 13:16SPEAKER_03: I mean, yeah, he's getting a touchdown, but he's had two fumbles in two games.
- 13:21SPEAKER_03: I I saw this coming, man.
- 13:22SPEAKER_03: Like this this was so like supposed to happen with this Chargers team that you know they're gonna click eventually, but it just wasn't gonna happen at the beginning of the season.
- 13:34SPEAKER_03: And this was a perfect opportunity for the Raiders to to capitalize on there.
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: And we gotta give some shout out to Clint Kubia.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: Like what he what he produced out there on the offensive side.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: I went back and watched that game again, and other for a bad throw that Kirk Cousins missed on a wide receiver uh off to the sideline, he damn near called a perfect game, man.
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: Like as perfect as you can get.
- 13:57SPEAKER_03: And I gotta say, this Raiders offense, if we continue to look this way, we are going to beat some teams.
- 14:05SPEAKER_03: We're not gonna, we're not gonna be a we're not look.
- 14:08SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm gonna hold it together.
- 14:11SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna say that we're gonna win both double-digit games, but we will win seven to eight game, it's seven to nine games this year.
- 14:17SPEAKER_03: If this offense can do what this offense and the defense, the defense holding teams at 13 points.
- 14:23SPEAKER_03: The last two games now.
- 14:24SPEAKER_03: I know it was the Miami Dolphins, but it that chargers team is supposed to be a lot better than that, and that they did not show anything.
- 14:30SPEAKER_03: So I got I just again I talk a little bit of it.
- 14:33SPEAKER_03: My Raiders are two and oh, I'm happy.
- 14:35SPEAKER_03: I'm not, but I but I'm also realistic.
- 14:37SPEAKER_03: I understand that it's a long season, so I'll just leave it at that.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: Bowers should be back this week for you, too.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: Man, I mean, it's it's a lot to be excited about.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: I think Clint Kubiak, obviously, the biggest biggest thing, and you know, for your future, you still have Mendoza waiting in the wings, like just learning under Kirko Chains, who's a veteran presence, veteran quarterback.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: He can get the job done, it's never gonna be flashy, but um, how about it?
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, at first I was like, Oh, the Cardinals, they beat the Chargers, that's crazy.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: And two weeks later, as we're sitting here today, it's goes, Oh, it's just the Chargers, it's nothing crazy.
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: Chargers gonna charger, man.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: Charger, just like just like the Browns are gonna browns at some point, you know what?
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: It's just gonna happen.
- 15:20SPEAKER_02: Uh, I mean, for me, the winners, you know what, it's gonna have to be Kenneth Walker Truthers.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: And this one's for you, Nico, because I know you were big on his train.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: I liked Kenneth Walker, but not nearly as much as you did.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: And the way he is single-handedly carrying this offense right now for the Chiefs, I'm not gonna say carrying, but he's doing some heavy lifting for the right now.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: And so you go, the hot take.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: And from there, I'm gonna say that right now, it is, in my personal opinion, a little bit unsustainable.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: He's on pace for like 470 carries or touches, I should say, throughout the year, and uh his career high on touches is 250.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: So that might be a little bit uh something to be concerned about.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: But right now, the way he is just looking electrified, the way he is uh just jump cutting up the field, picking up four, five, six yards more than he should have.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: It's it he just looks explosive on that offense, and him and Travis Kelsey looking crazy out there.
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: And you know what?
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: Travis Kelsey's rejoicers right here.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: I was on trade, or I should say Travis Swift, but anyway, the Chiefs look good, and that sucks.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: Football sucks when the Chiefs are good.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: I just want to say that.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: Uh, losers, may I go ahead?
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: Go ahead, may I?
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: I'll let you get you.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Well, I'll let you get I I appreciate the flowers, Natter.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: It's not one, it's not like you to be able to hand those out to people, so it says a lot.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: Um, but no, Andy Reid did come out and say that you know they want to get more snaps to Emmett Johnson, and Emmett Johnson has looked you know super solid in the uh minimal amount of touches that he has gotten.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: Um, I did see a stat the other day that through two games, Kenneth Walker has 25 missed tackles so far.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: The next closest, Jameer Gibbs with 12.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, this dude is slippery, he's running through dudes, he's running around dudes, like just the explosiveness, and he's opening up that offense.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: Like he's opening up Mahomes being able to go deep and have big plays.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: He's opening up things for even Kelsey over the middle.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: Like that offense is going through him, you know, whether it is him actually touching the ball, or if it's just being uh a decoy or like on a play action or something like that.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, Kenneth Walker, man, to the moon.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: Now, a loser in my end, I didn't really know if I can put them in as a loser because we expected them to be ass, but the Pittsburgh Steelers offense specifically, man, they got nothing, nothing redeemable about that offense right now.
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, you can't start the running back, you can't start the wide receivers, you can't start the quarterback, you can't even like waiver or in my personal opinion, even roster those players at this point.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: I'd rather have handcuffs than anybody on the Steelers.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: I was gonna put Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: as my loser, but you know what?
- 18:06SPEAKER_02: He's just not even as much as a loser as the Pittsburgh Steelers offense.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: And I feel like that's really saying something with how bad he's performed.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: But of course, those are gonna be the winners and losers.
- 18:16SPEAKER_02: But hey, we got a lot of news and notes to cover.
- 18:18SPEAKER_02: Let's cop into it.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: NFL headlines.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: Oh boy.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: Well, tip touched on it earlier.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: These quarterbacks, they are just going through it.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: Um, but let's quickly go through these and you know, update the audience on kind of what's going on around the league.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: Uh, Jackson Dart expected to miss the rest of the season um after suffering an MCL, PCL, and meniscus damage.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Jameis Winston will take over.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: Poor Dart man.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: The thing about this one is like everyone was so mad at him for like running, not sliding.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: You know, like that's how he was getting hurt and having rent in the blue tent.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: This one was more like he was just in the pocket, trying to stay in there, make a play deep.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Here we are.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: But uh Jameis Winston, big game James the rest of the way.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: Uh Michael Penix Jr.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: starting tomorrow night against the Packers.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: Uh to Tugavailoa did return to full practice and is expected to serve as the backup quarterback to uh Michael Penix.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: So fingers crossed for everyone in the fantasy community, no more Cooper Rush.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: Jonathan Brooks was placed on the IR and expected to miss at least six weeks.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: Uh Carolina did work out.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: Uh Austin Eckler.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: I'm curious if Kelly um heard about any of those uh hearings um when she interviewed him uh over in Vegas a few weeks ago.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: But um Alec Pierce uh placed on the IR with a heel injury, missed at least four weeks.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: Rico Doddle uh day to day with a toe injury.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: Uh Tyson Bajent, we talked about the Bears earlier.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: He's in concussion protocol.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Case Keenum, uh former Minnesota Viking legend from 2018, uh, is looking like he's probably gonna start uh Monday night against the uh Eagles.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, guys, you you're not starting any Bears on Monday night if Case Keenum or or Bajan honestly goes, are you?
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: No, no, not at all.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: I can't I can't sit there of a situation that's so bad that you can't find anybody else better to start.
- 20:37SPEAKER_03: Well, chances are you probably I mean, if you drafted Colson Loveland, you're stuck.
- 20:41SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, you're screwing it.
- 20:46SPEAKER_03: No, I mean you come on, who was to see this, Natter.
- 20:49SPEAKER_03: You couldn't have said like, come on now.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: They score someone just super quick so damn near you couldn't see that.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: Just super quick, Dalton Schultz or Colson Lovelin.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: Dalton Schultz, Dalton Schultz, yeah.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: All right, shock doctor.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: It is um Brandon Cook signed to the 49ers practice squad.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Jonah Coleman uh dealing with a sprained ankle.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: His week three status is uncertain.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: Very unfortunate that the news came out today on Wednesday after waivers already ran on Tuesday night when he was probably the hottest commodity on the waiver wire yesterday.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Uh Jaden Daniels is ruled out for week three and getting additional testing done.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: Marcus Mariota will start.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: That elbow is dislocated again.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Uh, my boy Nico, dude.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: What is with that elbow, man?
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: I like it's nasty.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: Nasty.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: Um, Nico Collins still dealing with the hamstring injury, did not practice.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: Puka Nikua.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: Nico and those hammies, man.
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, he's so good, and he just can't stay healthy.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: It's so annoying.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: Plus, he's got a great name.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Uh, Puka Nakua week three status remains uncertain, uh, with his hip groin injury.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Uh McVeigh did confirm confirm though uh that it's not a sports hernia and the team is just playing it safe, which there were some rumors, if you will, about it being something a little bit more serious.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: Uh Zay Flowers has a good shot to play in week three.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Brock Bowers returned to practice.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Sam Darnold returned to practice.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Jaden Reed had a uh his neck injury that he sustained against the Jets um remains pretty significant.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: So prayers up for him.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: Uh no timetable for a return.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: And lastly, DJ Moore, uh tips boy, he's day-to-day with that AC joint sprain.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: I I saw it live and I said four to six weeks.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: Like I guess I don't know off the top of my head how often clavicle injuries are.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Um, but I feel like historically they're around that you know, four to six week time frame.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: So the fact that he's day-to-day, pretty encouraging, guys.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: Um helps when you do the Mr.
- 22:55SPEAKER_03: Miyagi.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: That's what um that's what guys anything else stand out to you from the news and notes uh that you feel is important for the audience to know about, or any fantasy implications um from your end that you want to share?
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: Damn, that Jonah Coleman for me.
- 23:12SPEAKER_03: I mean, dealing with the sprained ankle status uncertain.
- 23:15SPEAKER_03: I did this this running back room in Denver, it's just it's been cursed and doomed from the start, as soon as Sean Payton signed on the dotted line, and I it's still doomed.
- 23:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, unfortunately, when you drafted these players, you should have known going in that there's a high likelihood that they would get injured, like Jada Daniels, uh Jackson Dart, and so on and so forth, making it so that you know what you should have seen this coming.
- 23:41SPEAKER_02: Like if you took Terry McLaurin, expect Marcus Mariota to play a handful of games, and I think that was in already included in their redraft stock, making it so that it's just you know what, you're still gonna start him regardless.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for me, the Alec Pierce news is big for Josh Downs.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: A lot of us were pretty high on him, uh coming into the draft season.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: I know a few of us were, I definitely was.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: Um, but then they brought in Keenan Allen, Alec Pierce, you know, kind of came back around, uh, started practicing and then was active.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: And now all of a sudden you look at this Colts pass Colts passing attack, and all of a sudden, Josh Downs is kind of looking like a good solid PP or PPR type of play.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, especially with Alec Pierce set to miss some time.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: I think a pretty solid wide receiver three flex consideration.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: Whereas when Pierce, Warren, Keenan were all involved, it was definitely muddying the waters for him a little bit.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: So um that's definitely something there, and then rejoice, Drake London, maybe Kyle Pitts, Bijan.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: I never thought I'd say this, but thank goodness Michael Penix is back under center for the Falcons because Cooper Rush, bro.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: I don't know, you gotta hang it up.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: I oh anyways, anyways.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: That would those were my biggest things.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: I mean, there we go.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: Mr.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: Hey Wood says that I need to cheer up a little bit.
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: Fine, you know what?
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Just for you, I'll cheer up.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Fine.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: All right, I'll bring some positive energy because we're gonna be talking about the starts.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: Actually, wait, no, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 25:19SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I lied, I lied.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: My fault.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: We got the waivers, you did lie.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: We posted this on our head of line.
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: Ball headed line.
- 25:25SPEAKER_02: Sorry, you know, it's themed today, it's themed.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: So this one waivers we posted on our X already previously.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: So, of course, you're always gonna want to check out our X to make sure you're up to date with the latest and greatest information when it comes to waivers, updates, and any type of news and notes that you should be, of course, in the note on.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: And a lot of these players here, I want to say, I think you guys would agree with me.
- 25:49SPEAKER_02: A little bit more of a speculative pickup.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: Players that with a lot of upside, if the situation falls in their favor, like Taekwond Thornton, uh Cypress Allen, Caleb Johnson, Justice Hill, uh, stuff like that.
- 26:01SPEAKER_02: People like that, they're very high ceiling.
- 26:04SPEAKER_02: Darius Slayton who's not on there, but he needs to be on there too.
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: We don't care about Darius Slayton.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: Um, Tank Bigsby, of course, if Saquon Barkley does miss a little bit more time.
- 26:14SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I know I just said I'd be a little bit more positive, but it is what it is.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: Uh Jonah Coleman and all that stuff.
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, is there anybody else that you guys think we should be picking up just in case that they did not make a list?
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would imagine that all the people go ahead.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: Go ahead, man.
- 26:34SPEAKER_03: Well, no, I was gonna say I just talked about I just talked about Darius Slayton, and and you know, he did get picked up by the Colts, and they need a deep uh you know threat.
- 26:44SPEAKER_03: Um, now that Alec Pierce is out.
- 26:46SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I I I think that you can if we're talking speculative, he's not on the list.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: I would say he could be a speculative ad, but I would say my favorite one on this list.
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: I'm shocked that uh Denzel Boston is not over 50 owned.
- 27:01SPEAKER_03: But if he isn't, then damn it, he will be after this waiver wire.
- 27:05SPEAKER_03: Because and if he's looming on your waiver wire, scoop him up immediately.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: He's up to 73 on sleeper as of now, so they must have listened to us.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: That probably happened.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that probably happened, like I would say in the course of the next the last 36 hours.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, it definitely updates um pretty quickly.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, I think for me, the biggest one here is Terrence Ferguson.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: Um, his snap share and route participation was um up significantly, uh, with Puka uh being out uh the other night.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: Um, he saw nine targets, hauled in six of them.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: He even had one, he for sure had one drop.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: The other one was Stafford threw it and like grazed the top of the helmet, so like it moved up a little bit, made it a little bit harder for Ferguson to come down with it.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: But in a world where he could have gone seven for nine with you know, maybe 65-67 yards and a touchdown.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's a great day.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: And the fact that you know he's nearing the 60% snap share in a Rams offense, like be essentially being the third passing option.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: Um, he's definitely somebody that you know, if he was dropped after his week one bagel and not picked up last night, definitely should take a look at him.
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 28:24SPEAKER_02: Now uh, you know, I'm not the biggest person on waiver pickups, I'll be honest with you guys.
- 28:31SPEAKER_02: I'm not the biggest one on that one.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: And right now we have Scotty Engle.
- 28:36SPEAKER_02: Of course, he's hanging out in the chat, and he said, add Malik Washington and Tyler Baddie.
- 28:41SPEAKER_02: Now, I just like the name Tyler Batty, so uh, you know what?
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: I agree.
- 28:45SPEAKER_02: 400 full cent on the ballot, the baddie part.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: I mean, whoever it is, he must be a baddie.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: Malik Washington.
- 28:51SPEAKER_02: I remember I said this guy as a deep, deep, deep sleeper, deep, deep sleeper.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: When we were talked about that during the the dynasty episodes, you guys just brushed them off, and uh, you know what?
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: Hey, if Scott's on my side, then I'm correct.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: Uh I like the baddie.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: I saw that I saw that uh uh Caleb Douglas uh got hurt late in the game um for the Dolphins uh against the Niners.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: So obviously, you know, Malik Washington kind of the next man up there.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, they did start Chris Bell um with uh Caleb Douglas.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I mean, definitely an option there.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: The Dolphins will presumably find themselves in a very pass happy game script for a lot of the season.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: Um, so for that reason, definitely a good look.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: Uh, I don't know.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Tyler Beatty, I mean there we go.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: So I don't I don't really have strong Tyler Beatty feelings, but you know, when this when the king talks, he listens.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: So there you go.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: I'll leave it at that.
- 29:54SPEAKER_02: But all right, of course, we gotta start talking about some starts and siths.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: So let's hop it right into it.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's do it.
- 30:10SPEAKER_02: Of the week.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: So we can just gotta keep it simple.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: Nothing too crazy.
- 30:17SPEAKER_02: Tip, start it off for us.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: Who's gonna be the start?
- 30:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and and and King Scott, the King Angle is gonna love this call.
- 30:26SPEAKER_03: He's been talking about it.
- 30:27SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm starting to jump on this bandwagon.
- 30:30SPEAKER_03: I mean, I am this week, especially, because it's AJ Barner.
- 30:33SPEAKER_03: Uh, he's going against the Washington Commanders.
- 30:36SPEAKER_03: The Washington Commanders, there's only two teams that have given up four touchdowns to the tight ends, the Detroit Lions.
- 30:43SPEAKER_03: They're playing the Jets.
- 30:44SPEAKER_03: I'm not starting any Jets tight end right now, but I will start AJ Barner.
- 30:48SPEAKER_03: And the cool thing about AJ Barner is if you don't get it through the air, they're always gonna run that barnyard package.
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: That's their version of the tush push.
- 30:57SPEAKER_03: And he did last week and got into the end zone when they beat up on the on the on the um who did they play?
- 31:04SPEAKER_03: The cat or was it the Cardinals?
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: Cardinals.
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: I don't even remember who they beat up on.
- 31:08SPEAKER_03: They beat up on the Cardinals.
- 31:09SPEAKER_03: So they this gonna beat up, they're gonna beat up on the Commanders team this week.
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: So look for Barnyard to if he doesn't get in the end zone catching the ball, getting that opportunity at the goal line and doing it again.
- 31:21SPEAKER_03: So I'm really high on Barnyard again.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: I think that he going against the commanders is a it's a prime spot, prime matchup for him.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: All I'm saying is I'd start him over Coastal Loveland.
- 31:34SPEAKER_02: But of course, hey, give us another guy that you're gonna be starting specifically.
- 31:38SPEAKER_03: Well, this guy, this guy, we've been actually sitting, and I think Nico had him, or I had him as a sit last week.
- 31:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I had him week one judkins.
- 31:48SPEAKER_03: You had him week one, and I had him last week because he really has had two tough matchups.
- 31:53SPEAKER_03: Uh, week one, he wants to get wins against the Jaguars, week two, he goes against Vita Vea and uh the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 32:00SPEAKER_03: So Quenchon Judkins this week, this week, he gets to go against the Carolina Panthers.
- 32:06SPEAKER_03: And what do you do against the Carolina Panthers?
- 32:09SPEAKER_03: You run the ball against their defense because they're giving up the most rushing yards, they've given up the most touchdowns, they're giving up the most yard uh yards per carry, they're giving up the most fantasy points to the running back position at 31 per game, guys.
- 32:27SPEAKER_03: Per game, 31 points.
- 32:29SPEAKER_03: So this is a good get right game for Quinshawn Jenkins.
- 32:33SPEAKER_03: I think this week he is going to not only get you in the end zone, he's gonna uh he's gonna get you over 100 total yards passing and running the ball because you got to remember Dylan Sampson is also out as well.
- 32:44SPEAKER_03: So this is gonna be a big Quinson Juck Judkins bounce back week.
- 32:49SPEAKER_02: Man, you know, I can't disagree with that because I tried using Judkins for my start, and then I scrolled up and I noticed that you stole him from me, so I'm a little disappointed on that one.
- 33:00SPEAKER_02: So I mean, I you know, I don't really have anything to to add on this one.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: I literally, literally.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: Oh man, but there we go.
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: So Nico.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: You're upset about this.
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: Wait, you're upset about this natter because I also looked at Nico's and then he stole one of and I shouldn't say stole, but he took one of mine before I could get to it.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll tell you what, early bird gets the worm, and with the new baby, these 3 a.m.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: waiver wires are smacking, dude.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: Like I'm up every couple hours, and the waiver wire is my my piece.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: Um, no, that's a good point, though.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: With Dylan Sampson, uh, obviously he landed on the IR, the uh Browns, their what three-point uh underdogs um at home to the Panthers, and you nailed it.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, the Panthers have been terrible.
- 33:54SPEAKER_01: Uh Swift had a lot to do with it.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, um, my two guys, uh, I'm gonna go with Brees Hall, man.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: Um, the Lions defense, I mean, they've allowed 71, I repeat, 71 points through two games, and have allowed the fifth most uh yards per carry and the fifth most rushing fantasy points per game.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: Brees Hall, I mean, he's seen 20 plus touches in both of the first two games, and the only way I don't see him exceeding his projection of 13.43 on sleeper here is if he gets vulned by Braylon Allen.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: Now, the Lions are favored in this game by six points, which should also lead to a game script where Brees is getting involved in the receiving game, um, like he was last week.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: He had 63 receiving yards on five receptions, and he's as long as he's getting kind of some volume in the red zone, like he did in week one against Tennessee, where he found Patert.
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: Um, I see him absolutely soaring over this.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, I think in this game, the Lions defense, a 48-point total, there will be enough to go around for everybody to eat, and the Lions have just been a mess defensively.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: And I know Josh Allen had a lot to do with it, uh, but Brees Hall, absolute smash start this week.
- 35:10SPEAKER_03: Nico, I think your kids are maybe a little too young for this, but we're not gonna call the the Lions the Lions anymore.
- 35:17SPEAKER_03: We're gonna call them the kitty cat, kitty cat, kitty cat, kitty cat, kitty cat, kitty cat.
- 35:22SPEAKER_03: I've always thought that that defense is terrible, bro.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, yeah, it's not good, especially that secondary man.
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: Like, obviously, Aiden Hutchison can make some plays, but man, that defense is tough or terrible.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: Um, they need to get their healthy guys back.
- 35:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for sure.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: I call them the motor city kitties, but anywho, maybe I have to listen to one too many Minneapolis podcasts.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: But my second guy that I'm starting this week um is little lad, uh lad McConkey, um, at Buffalo.
- 35:53SPEAKER_01: He's projected for 11.36 uh points on sleeper and went on the field this year, guys.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: Lad has been really efficient.
- 36:00SPEAKER_01: Uh, ninth in yards per route run, six in first downs per route run, 14th in dominator rating, and even and that's even with missing half a game when he got cracked in the ribs and missed the I believe it was the full whole second half of the first week um against the Cardinals.
- 36:17SPEAKER_01: And last week he was on a little bit of a snap count, if you will, or a pitch count, playing only 46% of the snaps, but you can see how efficient he's been on those touches.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: Now, the chargers are going into Buffalo, they're seven and a half point underdogs, which will likely require them to huck the ball around even more.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: And Ladd is the only option right now that Justin Herbert trusts.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, when targeting Ladd, he's seventh in QB rating per target.
- 36:45SPEAKER_01: The Bills have allowed the most receiving fantasy points allowed per game and getting absolutely torched by CJ Stroud.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: They got torched by Jared Goff, making it so Herbert and Ladd should be set up for not only a lot of volume, but with Ladd being a little bit healthier this week, should definitely get more snaps, more volume, more production.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: He'll continue to be as efficient as he was on his per route and per touch basis as he has when he's been on the field in the first two weeks.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: Um, I am not Nico, or I'm not Natter, obviously, Nico.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: Um, I have all my hair.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: But Tim Welcome.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: Do you have anything to say about those starts?
- 37:33SPEAKER_03: I like I like the Brees Hall call.
- 37:35SPEAKER_03: And I I look, I think that this is gonna be an interesting game because you have you know the two coaches that coach together, uh, in Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn, they're gonna try to show each other up.
- 37:50SPEAKER_03: And I think that Brees Hall is gonna be a part of that because anytime these coaches try to show other teams up or try to, you know, stick it to their new, their their old team, um, they are going to use their star players.
- 38:02SPEAKER_03: So Brees Hall, you're fire him up.
- 38:04SPEAKER_03: Uh Lab McConkey, um, yes.
- 38:08SPEAKER_03: Give me Lab McConkey all day.
- 38:10SPEAKER_03: I think that this could be the game where the offense that's still gonna lose.
- 38:14SPEAKER_03: They're gonna be 0-3 because the way Josh Allen is playing right now, I don't think anybody can beat him.
- 38:19SPEAKER_03: Um, but but I will say this they're gonna score some points because they're gonna be forced to score some points.
- 38:24SPEAKER_03: The last couple of games, they they, you know, as well, especially the game last week, they they were kind of close.
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: It didn't really get out of hand until later in the game.
- 38:33SPEAKER_03: So I think this time around, they're gonna try to stay with Buffalo uh the best that they can.
- 38:38SPEAKER_03: And so, yeah, I like Lab McConkey this week in another week where you don't have to worry about the injury.
- 38:43SPEAKER_03: Last week I was concerned about the the flak jacket and and you know the injuries catching things like that.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: That elite defense, yeah.
- 38:52SPEAKER_03: Week two you can say it.
- 38:54SPEAKER_03: Well, no, I'm not gonna say it yet.
- 38:58SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna say it yet.
- 38:58SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna say it.
- 38:59SPEAKER_03: You almost made me say it.
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: Just trying, just trying to give you your flowers, man.
- 39:02SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, it it's it's only week two.
- 39:06SPEAKER_03: Um I I'm gonna be humble on this one, but labakankee I I love it.
- 39:10SPEAKER_03: Fire him up.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think uh one thing really quick before I pass it over to you, Kelly, is um it's just I was shocked Brees Hall's projection was at 13.43.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: That was my only hesitation to make him my start because for it to hit, he's gonna have to score 20 more than 13.43 for it to be a start, if you will, or a hit, if you will.
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: I was shocked it was that high.
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: The the concern is that Braylon Allen is getting some of those goal line touches too.
- 39:41SPEAKER_03: He doesn't do much other other than that, so like that that's kind of the concern.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: But I think in week one, they gave him like five uh Brees Hall, like five red zone touches.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: But why Kelly?
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: I was just gonna say, why don't you go ahead and tell us who tip your sits are this week?
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: And I see that Natter is back, so I'll uh hop out again.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 40:06SPEAKER_03: Look, this is not only a sit, this is a get off your team.
- 40:10SPEAKER_03: You know, I eventually we are gonna start talking about players to drop.
- 40:13SPEAKER_03: Well, I'm gonna tell you one right now, and it's Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 40:16SPEAKER_03: against the 49ers.
- 40:18SPEAKER_03: Uh, this is not good.
- 40:19SPEAKER_03: What whatever's going on in Arizona or hasn't been going on with Marvin Harrison Jr., I think it it's a trickle-down effect and it's gonna continue.
- 40:28SPEAKER_03: And then this I I don't know when this press conference was, but I listened to the coach, Mike LaFleur, talk about Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 40:39SPEAKER_03: The question was raised you know, are you gonna get him in the offense?
- 40:43SPEAKER_03: What's going on?
- 40:44SPEAKER_03: Like, and is he is he doing enough work?
- 40:47SPEAKER_03: Is he doing what he needs?
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: I'm paraphrasing, but is he doing what he needs to do?
- 40:50SPEAKER_03: And of course, he does the coach thing and says, Yes, he's doing what he needs to do.
- 40:54SPEAKER_03: The players believe in him.
- 40:55SPEAKER_03: I think it's really, I don't think it's the players, the coaches don't believe in.
- 40:59SPEAKER_03: I think it's him.
- 41:00SPEAKER_03: I think it's all him, and it's all it's it's inside his head, and that's where I think the problem is, and that's why I think you see lacklet lackluster performances.
- 41:10SPEAKER_03: I think that's why you see lazy you know jogging.
- 41:13SPEAKER_03: It doesn't look like he's really going at full speed because it's all in his head.
- 41:18SPEAKER_03: So Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 41:20SPEAKER_03: tool, he can figure it out.
- 41:22SPEAKER_03: I he's off my team, I don't want anything to do with him.
- 41:25SPEAKER_03: I'm definitely sitting him this week.
- 41:27SPEAKER_03: Again, like I said, I'm dropping him.
- 41:29SPEAKER_03: I'm done with him.
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: I can't disagree with the sit.
- 41:36SPEAKER_01: I can't disagree with the sit.
- 41:37SPEAKER_03: Oh, the 49ers are the 49ers are worst matchup right now in the first two weeks.
- 41:42SPEAKER_03: Worst matchup against wide receivers.
- 41:44SPEAKER_03: They have given up uh something like no, I'm sorry, they they're not the voice, they're the eighth worst.
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: They have given up 13 points it's an effort thing.
- 41:54SPEAKER_03: You can't you can't you can't tell me that he's gonna get any work when it's gonna be you gotta worry about you gotta worry about Trey McBride, you gotta worry about now Kendrick Bourne, and you gotta worry about Michael Wilson.
- 42:09SPEAKER_03: He may be the fourth guy on this depth chart, man, and I'm done.
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but that's like every team, regardless of where he goes, he's always gonna have competitors waiting for the football around him.
- 42:20SPEAKER_02: Like if he goes to the Jets, then you know he still has Garrett Wilson, he has their other rookie receiver, he's got the tight end, Brees Hall.
- 42:27SPEAKER_02: It's like he is always going to be with a team that has competitors for target share.
- 42:33SPEAKER_02: And if he doesn't elevate himself to demand and of course, you know, demand that respect and target share, then he's never going to uh get that, regardless of where he goes.
- 42:44SPEAKER_02: I mean, realistically, he's in the perfect situation with the Cardinals, too, because like like he is uh supposed to be elevated as that wide receiver one.
- 42:53SPEAKER_02: And if he can't do it, not not to put any disrespect on the Cardinals, but if he can't do it there, like where can he go and do it?
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: And it's not really much of another team unless he's not a scheme fit for that offensive coordinator, he just doesn't want to be there, he wants to be maybe on a higher profile team, and maybe he's purposely sandbagging himself.
- 43:12SPEAKER_02: I don't really know his situation.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: We could say it's mental, but honestly, like me, I'm I'm I'm like an athlete, I'm conceited, uh you know, as as they come, obviously.
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: And I can only imagine a person in the highest level of athlete to be conceited as well.
- 43:28SPEAKER_02: So for him to sit there and be like, oh, it's in his head, I don't personally believe that.
- 43:34SPEAKER_03: Well, you bring up a good point talking about, you know, maybe he just doesn't want to be there, maybe he's just this is his way of acting to you know say, Hey, I want out, but that's not how your professional is supposed to do it.
- 43:48SPEAKER_03: A professional is supposed to go out there, ball out, do the best that you can, and it it's like this pouting motion or this pouting behavior.
- 43:57SPEAKER_03: If that is the case, Nether, I don't know if that it is.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: But if that is the case, I mean that's just not gonna fly, man.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: I mean it worked with Kadarius Toney.
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: He left the worst team, which was I think it was the Giants at the time.
- 44:09SPEAKER_02: Well, he somewhere you know he he had you know injury concerns, but he went to the Chiefs, and at that point, he was looking like the best receiver on the Chiefs for a little bit.
- 44:16SPEAKER_02: So injuries derailed his his career, and then of course he just tailed off at the end, but not to say like it doesn't work.
- 44:22SPEAKER_02: No, no, it works 100%.
- 44:24SPEAKER_02: It happened all throughout.
- 44:26SPEAKER_02: We had Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, I mean all George Pickens, all three of them just happen to be Steelers.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: But yeah, keep it going to the next as sorry, sorry, Kelly.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 44:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, thank you.
- 44:39SPEAKER_03: Wrap it up, B.
- 44:40SPEAKER_03: Um, no, let me give you my next set.
- 44:42SPEAKER_03: Uh, it's Jonathan Taylor against the Texans.
- 44:45SPEAKER_03: Now, look, if you go back and look at Jonathan Taylor's history against the Texans, he's had 10 games, 10 touchdowns.
- 44:50SPEAKER_03: So he's had multiple touchdown games.
- 44:53SPEAKER_03: But the last two games that he's played against the Texans, he's had no touchdowns.
- 44:57SPEAKER_03: And he's there was one game where he barely got 50 yards uh total.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: So this Texas team, a prideful team, an 0-3 Texans team, they want to win this game.
- 45:08SPEAKER_03: Uh, they gotta win this game, and I think that they stop Jonathan Taylor this week.
- 45:14SPEAKER_03: This will be that week that he gets stopped.
- 45:16SPEAKER_03: Now, I know it's tough to say as Jonathan Taylor, that guy's a beast, he is who he is, but I really truly feel like like this is gonna be the week that he doesn't do too well for us in fantasy.
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: So he's a sit for me.
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: What about you, Nico?
- 45:28SPEAKER_03: Who are yours?
- 45:29SPEAKER_01: Just to confirm with the audience, like you're not sitting him if you have him, correct?
- 45:33SPEAKER_01: Like you're just saying he's gonna go well under his 18.
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: He's gonna go well under his ADP.
- 45:38SPEAKER_03: You you're not gonna you don't you're not gonna sit him, but he is a sit for me.
- 45:42SPEAKER_03: Like, for instance, yes, if I'm looking at his ADP, I am I'm running for the hills, I'm going the opposite direction.
- 45:48SPEAKER_02: You mean this projection?
- 45:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're past draft season, yes, projection, not his ADP.
- 45:55SPEAKER_01: Projection, I'm sorry.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: Um, no, and I just wanted tip to clarify that for the audience, just to make sure.
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: Um, my two sits for this week, uh, Drake May.
- 46:04SPEAKER_01: Oh man, it's been a rough go for Drake May so far.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, he's ranked as the QB29 in fantasy points per game.
- 46:11SPEAKER_01: He's only thrown one touchdown, four interceptions, albeit some pretty good defenses.
- 46:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, with the Steelers and the Seahawks, but May's just not playing like his former 2025 self.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: Uh, he's 31st ranked in true passer rating, 21st in air yards per attempt, and only 386 yards.
- 46:31SPEAKER_01: And that's all despite being ranked sixth in game script, meaning situations where they need to throw the ball, like he's just not putting up those points for you.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: Obviously, he lost AJ Brown early in week one, uh and he's just really struggled to get anything going.
- 46:48SPEAKER_01: And unless he rushes for like a 50 to 70 yards and a touchdown, I don't see him, you know, exceeding his 17.72 uh projected point total over here on sleeper against the Jags defense that has only allowed 15 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks so far and only two passing TDs.
- 47:09SPEAKER_01: So the only way he gets there for me is if he has a crazy rushing day.
- 47:13SPEAKER_01: Don't see him doing it through the air.
- 47:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's that is Drake May, his fall.
- 47:20SPEAKER_02: I don't want to say overrated, but it hurts it's early.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's it's definitely early, but it's gonna be hard to pay off at from his uh ADP throughout the summer based on his performance so far.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: And then my second guy, uh Travis Etienne, uh versus Raider Nation, bro, what is going on with this guy?
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, the Saints brought him in for 48 million dollars over four years.
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: Um, and across two games, it seemed like they couldn't wait to put Alvin Kamara in.
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they couldn't wait, man.
- 47:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, across two games, he's played less than 60 of the snaps.
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: And while he was involved in the game plan through the air in week one, when the Saints were trailing the entire game, he had nine targets, he only had two targets in week two, and all the rest of them went to Camara.
- 48:07SPEAKER_01: He was getting all the receiving work.
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: That was the reason why I was fading him going into drafts.
- 48:12SPEAKER_01: But then when Kamara got hurt, I was like, Okay, well, I think ETN will get that receiving work.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: He has the receiving background, but the more concerning part about ETN is he's in third in yards created per touch, 36 in yards per touch, and he only has five evaded tackles on the year.
- 48:28SPEAKER_01: He's not generating explosive plays, he's not breaking tackles, he's not getting good volume, he's averaging eight and a half carries per game.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: And combine that with Kamara perhaps being the receiving back, not good.
- 48:40SPEAKER_01: Raiders have been pretty solid against the running back position, averaging uh 15.2 uh fantasy points per game, which is 12th, so not too bad.
- 48:49SPEAKER_01: And that's combined, right?
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: That's not just one running back, and he's projected for 10.2 on sleeper.
- 48:55SPEAKER_01: To me, the only way he gets here is if he scores.
- 48:58SPEAKER_01: Uh, so I'll go ahead and take the under on this and sit him this week if possible.
- 49:03SPEAKER_03: Real quick, uh Travis if Alvin Kamara keeps catching the ball and only going for a yard at every every time he catches the ball, Travis Etienne will get more opportunities.
- 49:14SPEAKER_03: I think that they're just trying to find a way, and you got to remember week one, they were playing from behind uh majority of that game, and they had to pass the ball.
- 49:22SPEAKER_03: And Tyler Shuck is amazing.
- 49:24SPEAKER_03: I think he's a really good quarterback.
- 49:26SPEAKER_03: In some people, they would they say a poor man's Josh Allen.
- 49:29SPEAKER_03: I I I look, I I like it so, but Travis Etienne, I think it will get a little bit better for him.
- 49:36SPEAKER_03: Uh, we do have to worry about his hamstring, which he was limited in practice today.
- 49:42SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 49:42SPEAKER_02: Now, you know, since I didn't have starts, actually, well, since I had to move away from my starts, you know what?
- 49:48SPEAKER_02: We're gonna ignore my six since I mean they're gonna be correct anyway.
- 49:50SPEAKER_02: So you're just gonna give me points on how they'll post them on Twitter.
- 49:53SPEAKER_02: We'll post them on Twitter.
- 49:54SPEAKER_02: We gotta okay, fine.
- 49:55SPEAKER_02: All right, fine.
- 49:56SPEAKER_02: We could post it on Twitter.
- 49:57SPEAKER_02: All right, yeah, and of course, you know what?
- 49:58SPEAKER_02: This is a perfect time to plug the Twitter, of course.
- 50:00SPEAKER_02: Over here to my right, the socials for us to for you.
- 50:05SPEAKER_02: This is right, right?
- 50:06SPEAKER_02: This is this is your guys's right, yeah.
- 50:08SPEAKER_03: No, no, you're going the wrong.
- 50:10SPEAKER_02: I'm going the other way.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, the right to go this way the other way.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there you go.
- 50:14SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I'm this way.

- 50:53SPEAKER_02: But of course, hey, we got some crusty picks to be looking at.
- 50:58SPEAKER_04: Crusty picks brought to you by tickets.
- 51:03SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 51:04SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, you know what?
- 51:05SPEAKER_02: These are the ones that are prop bets, and of course, you know, if you're following me, then you just made a boatload of money on Parker Washington last week, and it was it was like take calm down.
- 51:15SPEAKER_02: It was candy from a paper.
- 51:17SPEAKER_02: That one, you're telling me he wasn't gonna get 45 yards.
- 51:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, but of course, hey, that's nothing compared to this week's.
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: Let's see, who do we got up first?
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: How about Waddle?
- 51:27SPEAKER_01: Come on now, okay.
- 51:28SPEAKER_02: All right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: Well, Waddle had more yards than Parker.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: Just saying.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: Well, we'll he had it.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: We'll show the standings.
- 51:37SPEAKER_03: We'll show the standings in a little bit.
- 51:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we'll show the standings in a little bit because mine did not hit.
- 51:42SPEAKER_03: I say I picked Sam Laporta 46 and a half to go under against the Buffalo Bills, who are usually stout against the tight ends.
- 51:50SPEAKER_03: But somebody out there, I don't remember who it was, was like, hey, the last time he played them, he had over 100 yards, blah blah blah.
- 51:56SPEAKER_03: This and this last week he had over 50, I think he had 56 yards and a touchdown.
- 52:01SPEAKER_03: So yeah, that didn't look good.
- 52:02SPEAKER_03: So I am uh I got an X on the board, but I'm I'm gonna redeem myself this week.
- 52:07SPEAKER_03: But before I go, Nico, tell us about yours because it's interesting.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's pretty simple to me.
- 52:12SPEAKER_01: Uh, through two weeks, uh George Pickens.
- 52:15SPEAKER_01: So my pick is George Pickens, uh, to go over uh 59 and a half.
- 52:20SPEAKER_01: My my pick and pickens on pickets to go wow, wow, try saying that pick and pick it, pick and pickens on picket.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: Uh picket sports, great sports betting tracking app downloaded today.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: Uh, this one's pretty simple to me, though.
- 52:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, through two weeks, George is he has a 23 23.7 percent target share, which is pretty solid, 14 targets, and he's just been a little offline, if you will, with Dak a few times.
- 52:45SPEAKER_01: Uh, he had a few bad drops.
- 52:47SPEAKER_01: Uh CD went nuclear last week, and with his yard mark being at 59 and a half for George in a game in Brazil, by the way, um, against the Baltimore Ravens.
- 52:59SPEAKER_01: Uh, who last week we saw them allow over um 60 yards to both Chris Olave and Devon Vale.
- 53:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Devon Vayle, sorry.
- 53:09SPEAKER_01: Um, and additionally, this game it's a 53 uh overunder.
- 53:14SPEAKER_01: I believe it's the highest on the week, meaning there are going to be a lot of fireworks, a lot of uh points being scored.
- 53:20SPEAKER_01: Give me a couple of big long plays to George Pickens.
- 53:23SPEAKER_01: This should cash very easily, looking to go three for three.
- 53:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think he gets I think he gets in the I think he gets worked this week.
- 53:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's been a lot of CD Lamb, a lot of uh Javante Williams, and you know, even even uh I almost said Terrence Ferguson, Jake Ferguson's beginning the mix, so yeah, I think Pickens is a good one.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: What about you?
- 53:46SPEAKER_02: So yeah, you know what?
- 53:48SPEAKER_02: You you took him earlier, so you know what?
- 53:51SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take him back.
- 53:52SPEAKER_02: Lad McConkly, 53 and a half yards, yeah.
- 53:55SPEAKER_02: Receiving, I think, against the Bills, they should be down early and often, making it so they're just gonna have to air it out, baby.
- 54:02SPEAKER_02: And from there, I'm gonna go with the over.
- 54:03SPEAKER_02: I gotta make sure you're specific, you know.
- 54:05SPEAKER_02: Just because I say 30-53 and a half doesn't mean I'm saying hey, I gotta I gotta say it with my chest, he's gonna be over that.
- 54:11SPEAKER_02: I'm looking in the 70, 80 yard range, six catches, maybe even a tutty or two, but he's definitely gonna have a phenomenal fantasy and betting day.
- 54:18SPEAKER_02: Let's go.
- 54:20SPEAKER_03: I like it, and I'm going back to Brazil, man, because Brazil is a beautiful country.
- 54:24SPEAKER_03: I've visited Rio de Janeiro, it is absolute gorgeous.
- 54:29SPEAKER_03: But I'm going back over there.
- 54:30SPEAKER_03: But this one, I'm gonna say Lamar Jackson is gonna go over his 38 and a half rushing yard total.
- 54:37SPEAKER_03: Let me tell you something real quick.
- 54:38SPEAKER_03: So, Jackson Dart, who we talked about earlier, unfortunately, he's not in playing uh anymore so far or this season due to an injury, but he had 54 rushing yards against the Dallas Cowboys.
- 54:50SPEAKER_03: Last week, before Jaden Daniels got hurt, he had 69 rushing yards against the Cowboys.
- 54:57SPEAKER_03: So, what is Lamar Jackson gonna do?
- 55:00SPEAKER_03: He's gonna go over 38 and a half rushing yards uh in this game.
- 55:03SPEAKER_03: Where I think that, you know, they they were they missed Zay Flowers.
- 55:08SPEAKER_03: That was evident.
- 55:09SPEAKER_03: They missed him in this passing uh offense.
- 55:12SPEAKER_03: And this week they should get him back, which should open some more lanes, some more opportunities for Lamar Jackson to run out of the pocket and do special things that Lamar Jackson does.
- 55:23SPEAKER_03: I'm not concerned too much about the footing, I've heard you know the stories, um, but I've also seen some other articles out there that saying they do have a plan in place for that.
- 55:32SPEAKER_03: So I'm curious to see what that plan in place is, but I believe that everybody will be safe in this one.
- 55:42SPEAKER_01: Bro, I literally just went to pick it and place that bet.
- 55:46SPEAKER_03: Let's show let's show and b both.
- 55:49SPEAKER_03: Both, yeah.
- 55:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, I already had Georgie, I already had Georgie locked in, but those were two really good picks, and I literally just went to pick it and placed them both.
- 55:59SPEAKER_01: Thanks, guys.
- 56:00SPEAKER_03: So so so yeah, so so let us know how we did last week.
- 56:04SPEAKER_03: We do track these, so as you see, these are our week two or results through two weeks.
- 56:11SPEAKER_03: Now, the person who has the most crusty of the clown faces at the end of this will get a pie in the face.
- 56:20SPEAKER_03: So, Nico, right now, two for two, bro.
- 56:23SPEAKER_03: So, talk to us about some of your hits that you've made so far, man.
- 56:28SPEAKER_01: Oh man.
- 56:30SPEAKER_01: Well, last week was Waddle, right?
- 56:33SPEAKER_01: Yes, yeah, it was over 49 and a half receiving yards.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was a clear pretty clear uh bounce back um spot for me.
- 56:41SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, you had Sean Payton out there saying he told his wife to draft Jalen Waddle, and after the week one outing, it's like, yo, Sean Payton, do you even love your wife, bro?
- 56:51SPEAKER_01: You you told her to draft someone and you got him the rock once or twice.
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: Um, but to be fair, you know, uh Colson Loveland was one of my starts of the week, and it was a very similar situation.
- 57:02SPEAKER_01: Luckily, I just didn't pick him for my crusty uh pick of the week.
- 57:06SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm trying to look and see who I had in week one.
- 57:09SPEAKER_01: I don't even remember off the top of my head.
- 57:11SPEAKER_01: Uh, let's see, I got it up now.
- 57:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, Christian Watson, baby.
- 57:16SPEAKER_01: Over 54 and a half receiving yards.
- 57:19SPEAKER_01: Um, how about Christian Watson, guys?
- 57:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, baby.
- 57:23SPEAKER_01: Oh, baby.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: Um, he's by far my most drafted player.
- 57:29SPEAKER_01: Obviously, I was high on a lot of people, but like Christian Watson was he was going in the seventh, sixth, seventh round of a lot of drafts, and I was picking him in the fifth, if not sixth round, of all my drafts.
- 57:39SPEAKER_01: You know, you can't get Kenneth Walker in every single draft, but you can reach on a guy, you know, in the fifth or sixth round when he's averaging, you know, sixth or seventh round.
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: But yeah, he's got 19 targets so far.
- 57:51SPEAKER_01: It's Christian Watson's season, baby.
- 57:53SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 57:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, I fully agree.
- 57:56SPEAKER_02: Just because of you, I do have a plenty, plentiful shares of Christian Watson, him, plentiful, Travis Kelsey, plentiful.
- 58:02SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I said it right, but you know what?
- 58:04SPEAKER_02: I'm going with it.
- 58:05SPEAKER_02: I just created a new adjective, but of course, you know what?
- 58:07SPEAKER_02: That's unfortunately going to have to wrap up the show.
- 58:11SPEAKER_02: Uh, you know what?
