- 0:00Terrible. But good, I'm going to have a
- 0:02weird year. I'm going to have a bag full of
- 0:03challenge coins in an ex cop car.
- 0:06Just giving them out to people who like put groceries in the
- 0:09car. It's going to be a weird year
- 0:11for me. Oh man, because.
- 0:15That's what I needed was more shit.
- 0:17That's just completely people see it and they're like, why?
- 0:21Why would you do that? Because I don't have enough.
- 0:26That's fantastic. I want to do that now.
- 0:29I want to do that so bad. Welcome back, guys.
- 0:45Welcome back episode 34 of the thanks.
- 0:50Hated the podcast and I'm sad to say Ryan will be joining us.
- 0:58He's decided that he's not going to do podcasting anymore or
- 1:03content of any sort. Last I heard he was packing and
- 1:08headed up to where was that place?
- 1:11Tibet. He's going to do the Tibetan
- 1:15monk lifestyle from now on. Shaved his head the other day.
- 1:20It's crazy looking. The robes are just sheets.
- 1:26I think they're like sheets he got handed down.
- 1:29I don't know, but they're there's like roses print on them
- 1:31and stuff. I swear it's that monster coming
- 1:35at him. Oh yeah, his girlfriend his.
- 1:38Girlfriend. Dave.
- 1:41Dave. Dave So we had a couple things
- 1:47ready to talk about mostly our week that was shit.
- 1:56Yeah. It was shit.
- 1:57I didn't sleep. We were both on our period.
- 2:00Oh. My God.
- 2:03And I I was definitely PMS ING this morning.
- 2:07Both on our period is wild. I think I I took your hormones
- 2:13this morning. Oh my God, if I could just give
- 2:15you my hormones that would be fantastic.
- 2:18This morning I actively yelled at in my car another person for
- 2:23being just some place that I didn't want them to be.
- 2:29He got big mad. And it, it was crazy because
- 2:33like the the person who had helped us out at the DMV was
- 2:36really cool. And then I immediately got in
- 2:41the car and got mad at this person for being in my way.
- 2:48You couldn't wait for me. Oh my God.
- 2:50Oh my God, that was so quick. Are you back?
- 2:57Yeah. How did it go?
- 3:04I don't know what's going on. Oh, you can't say they they told
- 3:08you. You can't talk about the the
- 3:10hidden ways. I see.
- 3:12The Brotherhood? What the fuck?
- 3:15Are we recording 34 just to be sure?
- 3:19Yes. Yes.
- 3:20OK. So Ryan's back, guys.
- 3:24I don't think he can talk about his trip but.
- 3:28But we know. Maybe we'll do behind the
- 3:30paywall or something like a buy me a coffee and and then he'll
- 3:33describe his his experience. How was your week bud?
- 3:41So I'm cutting all of that out. I don't know what's going on.
- 3:47We'll let you hear it. Well, you'll you'll hear it.
- 3:49Trust me. It's very good.
- 3:51We both had our period this week.
- 3:54We did. Oh.
- 3:55Congratulations. And he?
- 3:59And I'm just now recording. That's fine, you can jump in so
- 4:07the you. Know this is going to cause
- 4:10chaos and editing, right? No, we can just shut your clip
- 4:14off when we're done. It'll be it'll be perfect to the
- 4:16to the stream. So or we'll shut ours off 10
- 4:19minutes early. You just stay behind.
- 4:25Gross. DMV.
- 4:29Incredibly, the DMV was great. The woman knew exactly what she
- 4:33was doing. She was the smartest person in
- 4:34the room. I was like, how do I do this?
- 4:36She's like, here's the form, Here's the piece of paper.
- 4:39You're going to want to do it this way.
- 4:40I said, OK, if I need to do something else before I register
- 4:44myself in the state, can I do that instead without registering
- 4:47myself in the state? And she's like, absolutely.
- 4:49Here's that form and here's that checklist.
- 4:51Do whatever you need to do. What are you registering in the
- 4:54state? I'm registering my new car.
- 4:57What is? Me is it.
- 4:59I already sent it to Ryan and I think he's got audio of when I
- 5:03picked it up. I bought a new car.
- 5:08The question is which explorer in the parking lot is it?
- 5:14It's the cop car. I bought a cop car.
- 5:16Long story short, I bought a cop car.
- 5:22Woo. It is a retired.
- 5:26Did I send you the interior shots like the the clip?
- 5:29No. You just sent me.
- 5:31God. On the the lot you sent me the
- 5:34video and it's already played so they'll they'll know, but you
- 5:38basically are are going around. Which car did I buy?
- 5:44It's the cop car. It's the cop car.
- 5:48What's funny is he didn't buy it from a a lot.
- 5:53I don't know where he took that video, but he.
- 5:57Didn't buy it from a lot like a used car lot with the amount of
- 5:59cars there. Oh, oh, that one that was in the
- 6:03the Mavis parking lot, I was actually getting it looked at
- 6:06because oh, OK, so very good. Like I don't even ribbon on a
- 6:17week. Yeah so the ribbon on a week was
- 6:22me buying the car. I've wanted one of these semi
- 6:27retired cop cars for literally like 8 years.
- 6:32I rode motorcycles my whole life, pretty much up until, I
- 6:36don't even know, 24, I don't know.
- 6:41I don't think I actually had a car in my name.
- 6:42Like I never once registered a car in my name.
- 6:45I had, I've had cars, I've just never driven them.
- 6:47I've either flipped them or used them or given them away.
- 6:50Like I'd never, I never actually wanted a car.
- 6:53I just like motorcycles. So like I was on motorcycles for
- 6:56years and years and years and years and years.
- 6:58And my first car was, was it the Ranger?
- 7:04The Mazda technically my first car like mine.
- 7:09So I got a 98 grey 6 inch lifted on like 30 fives with a Topper
- 7:17like Ranger it. Was so ugly it was cute.
- 7:20It was so ugly. You were like, like, you know
- 7:22when you see a car that's been hacked as shit and you're like,
- 7:24what is that abomination and how much can I buy it for?
- 7:28That was my truck and I, I loved it so much.
- 7:31We, we took it camping. We, we ran all around in it.
- 7:35It was pretty much an overland rig without the expensive bits.
- 7:38And it was awesome. Ice cold AC Awesome.
- 7:42Truck, I want to say 2017, yeah, 20/16/2017 is when you got it.
- 7:50I'm going to send you that video of the interior after the story.
- 7:53So I, I got my truck, I ran with that for a year or two maybe.
- 7:59And then I ended up having a fairly decent income for my age.
- 8:03So I thought, I know I'll go to a dealership and I'll pick up a
- 8:09Ram because that's what you do when you got more money than you
- 8:12know what to do with you. You buy a vehicle that's way too
- 8:14expensive and way too expensive to run and way too expensive to
- 8:18repair right before. COVID.
- 8:19Right before COVID so I bought a ram that was fully kitted out.
- 8:25This thing had the full options package, the skid plates lifted,
- 8:30the 4x4 the the lights this the package everything.
- 8:35It literally was the outdoorsman package with like the hunting
- 8:38gear like built in. That truck cost me so much, so
- 8:46much to run. It wasn't worth anything by the
- 8:51end because it just fell apart. Dude, Dodge just Dodge can't
- 8:56build a car to save their life. That was actually the first year
- 8:59that Dodge separated from Ram and Ram became its own, pretty
- 9:05much its own company still under the Stalantis group, like Dodge,
- 9:09Chrysler, Jeep. But Dodge became its own thing.
- 9:13And then they started getting a little bit better like 3 or 4
- 9:16years later. They got pretty good trucks now,
- 9:18but my year of engine was a redesign for the Hemi.
- 9:27They redesigned it in a way that it had an oil starvation issue
- 9:31and after 100,000 miles it would eat its own camshaft and I'm
- 9:34talking it would, it would gully a knuckle size hole out of each
- 9:42Cam lobe on the inside of the engine.
- 9:45So I, I ran this thing for, I don't know, probably 2-3 years.
- 9:51Yeah. And by the hard.
- 9:53No. Not not hard.
- 9:54I barely, barely used it to tow. I mean, it was a tiny little
- 9:57trailer that I too, that I too. That's good.
- 10:02You said two or three years. Yeah, before I had to rebuild
- 10:05it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:09Three. Yeah.
- 10:12Didn't know about the engine because I didn't research it
- 10:14because I was a kid. So I literally just said I want
- 10:16a Ram. I've always wanted a Ram.
- 10:18I'll just go buy a truck, idiot. So I go buy this truck.
- 10:22Two or two or three years I got out of it and it starts giving
- 10:26me trouble and it starts giving me trouble and trouble and
- 10:29trouble. And I finally go looking and
- 10:31apparently there has been a catastrophic failure with these
- 10:36engines between this year and this year that their redesign
- 10:40was still in place and the engines are from factory
- 10:45defective. They will, they will eat
- 10:47themselves every time. There's no such thing as a HEMI
- 10:51with 200,000 miles that hasn't been rebuilt.
- 10:53It doesn't happen. They're they're bad engines.
- 10:56So we rebuild it in three days, 2 1/2 days in a carport fully
- 11:03tore it down. I've got pictures of me standing
- 11:05inside the engine Bay, like my whole body inside the engine Bay
- 11:08and my chest is up against the the front of the block and the
- 11:13whole block is torn down to the bottom.
- 11:15And I'm I'm literally like inside of the engine tearing
- 11:18this thing apart. Rebuilt it from the top of the
- 11:22block up. Never rebuilt an engine that
- 11:25that extensively in my life. I fucked around with small
- 11:28blocks forever in my Silverado but I've never done a new ish
- 11:34like newer electronic actual rebuild.
- 11:39Yeah like a like a a new engine. So I spent 2 1/2 days in a
- 11:46carport inside the engine, literally inside of it
- 11:49rebuilding it from scratch watching YouTube videos.
- 11:54Brother, I rebuilt a fucking hemi from the top of the block
- 11:58up by scratch and I've never seen the inside of a block of a
- 12:03hemi before. It worked the first fucking try.
- 12:06That's why YouTube is the best. I'm talking they literally were
- 12:11holding the phone doing the parts that I was doing and I
- 12:16just copied what they did. It was amazing.
- 12:18First try, perfect. And then I get two or three more
- 12:22years out of it maybe. Yeah.
- 12:24And it's just one thing after another.
- 12:27The switches stop working, the TPMS goes out the the bearings,
- 12:33yeah, the bearings go out. And because the bearings go out,
- 12:36it takes out my traction control, it takes out my cruise
- 12:39control, it takes out my 4 wheel drive, it takes out my ABS.
- 12:43Pretty much all the safeties on the car get taken out because
- 12:47the bearings get eaten and then the sensors get clogged up by
- 12:49literal specks of metal that used to be your car.
- 12:54So that's what we talked about probably a month ago on the
- 12:58podcast was me going down to Florida and rebuilding this
- 13:00thing for like 3 days and I couldn't do it.
- 13:02I literally couldn't do it. It took me 3 full days to at the
- 13:07end of it go fuck it, put it all back together bolt by bolt and
- 13:11I'm going to sell it right where it sits because it can't move
- 13:13because the bearings are dead. And that's the end of my truck
- 13:16and it's getting sold now. So before I bought the Ram I
- 13:22wanted a 2010 to 2012 Tahoe PPV which is the special pursuit
- 13:31vehicle, the purpose pursuit vehicle or something like that.
- 13:34It was either coming from Border Patrol or it was coming from
- 13:38Beach watcher. It was coming from the guys up
- 13:40in Tallahassee in the the county, but I couldn't find one.
- 13:45And if I did find it, there was 1 and it was in Tallahassee and
- 13:48it was too much because everybody wants a Tahoe.
- 13:50They're fucking dope. So couldn't get it.
- 13:54Ended up buying the Ram instead. Huge, massive mistake.
- 13:57That thing's been nothing but a problem child.
- 13:59I love that truck, but it's, it really is built like shit.
- 14:03So this time I thought, I'm not going to do it again.
- 14:08I'm not going to want an old, not old.
- 14:12It's a 2018 Ford Explorer PPV with 113,000 miles.
- 14:19Dude, it, it drives like it's fucking new.
- 14:23It drives like it came off the line yesterday.
- 14:26The engine, butter smooth, the transmission butter smooth.
- 14:31It's the thing, literally. It's so good.
- 14:34It's such a good car. I'm already in love with it,
- 14:36unfortunately. I hope it doesn't crush crush
- 14:39me. Well, Fords are typically very
- 14:43well engineered, very well made. You don't see I.
- 14:47Know the electrics are always bad, but that's that's.
- 14:51A new, I don't, I don't count that because across the board
- 14:56that's true, not that great, except for like a company like
- 15:00Tesla and their their electric cars are still not up to par for
- 15:06most, you know, internal combustion engine vehicles just
- 15:11because the technology is still not quite there.
- 15:15But that's all they dedicated, all they're funding to is the
- 15:18electric vehicle. I didn't mean like dodge or ram
- 15:24or stalantis electric vehicle. I meant the actual electrics
- 15:27like the wiring. Oh, gotcha.
- 15:29Understood. Bad like and that's Dodge Ford
- 15:34and I think those two have always been bad with wiring like
- 15:38electrical faults and issues and gremlins like through the years.
- 15:40I'm talking 2019 98 all the way up their their electric systems
- 15:45just are shit and I don't know what it is.
- 15:48So the only one who had good electrics was Chevy but their
- 15:52problem was you can never find one with an AC that worked and
- 15:56it just you. You had either no AC and great
- 15:59electrics or dog shit electrics that always broke and ice cold
- 16:03air conditioning that never failed.
- 16:05And it was that was the two options you had.
- 16:08So always wanted the PPV, never could find it.
- 16:13And then this time I said, I'm not going to do it again.
- 16:15I'm not going to get something that I kind of want because it's
- 16:18available and it's this and yadda, yadda, yadda.
- 16:21I'm going to give it the fuck I want.
- 16:23So I looked and looked and looked for like a month.
- 16:25I found a, like I said, a 2018 113,000 miles.
- 16:29This thing is barely decommissioned.
- 16:33I'm talking I'm going to send Ryan the video in a second.
- 16:35Whenever somebody else takes over.
- 16:37It is still a cop car. Like there are still lights on
- 16:42this thing. It's still a cop car.
- 16:45They took out the radars, the PA, the.
- 16:49Metal component. Pretty much the center console
- 16:52that controlled all the all all the stuff on it, They literally
- 16:56just pulled that thing out and cut the wire and just took the
- 16:59whole like control module pretty much because I'm assuming it's
- 17:02$1100 new so you can't. Sell that with that in it
- 17:06anyways. OK, that makes more sense.
- 17:09I I thought they were just like, no, strip it because it's, it's,
- 17:11we can use that or we can sell it.
- 17:13No, they typically won't take the lights entirely off in a lot
- 17:18of different circumstances because it's just easier to cut
- 17:22the wires and take the control module out because then you
- 17:26like, yeah, you could hook up the lights and stuff, but that
- 17:31that's a lot less likely than somebody just flipping a switch,
- 17:36you know? Yeah, so.
- 17:39So I still have spotlight always.
- 17:44They never take those off. I've still got rear flashers on
- 17:48the back window. I've still got.
- 17:50The wig wags. The correct the wig wags I've
- 17:54still got the mirror strobes like interesting mounted to the
- 17:58mirrors yeah dude, I've. The cage.
- 18:01Not not necessarily interesting. The cage is interesting.
- 18:05I'm going to send you the video. All of the windows have bars on
- 18:09them. It's a full steel cage with a
- 18:13dog door. It's awesome.
- 18:16The other cool thing about it is whenever we were looking at it,
- 18:21I noticed that the decals like they still had like the imprint.
- 18:26From where? The like sticker was and as I
- 18:30was looking and listening to the dude that he he was like who was
- 18:34selling it? He was like, Oh yeah, I got this
- 18:37car from Florida. I said what?
- 18:42And then I looked at the decal and it literally says Port
- 18:46Orange still on like the side of it.
- 18:49What's absolutely crazy, we bought the boat in Port Orange.
- 18:54That's. That's.
- 18:55Awesome. So I asked the guy, I was like,
- 18:58oh, where'd you get it in Florida?
- 19:00And he said Tampa. I said, no shit.
- 19:04He goes, yeah, I got it in Tampa.
- 19:06I was like, we were married in Tampa.
- 19:08So just like fucking wild. Apparently this car was
- 19:11absolutely meant for Jay. Like 100%. 100%. 100%.
- 19:16I I got the cage, you can see the video now.
- 19:21I got the lights still on. I got the center console, fully
- 19:25steel center console. By the way, 6 cigarette
- 19:28lighters. How many keys do you have?
- 19:314 keys and four fobs town. Yes.
- 19:36Bro it's got a cage behind the back seat, it's got the bars on
- 19:39all the windows. Oh my gosh.
- 19:42You can actually take Goose on a road trip.
- 19:45There's no way he's getting through that.
- 19:48I didn't even think of that the. Reason I wanted an old PPV when
- 19:53I wanted it 10 years ago was to have a seat for the dogs that I
- 19:57wouldn't worry about. Yeah, I swear to God that was
- 20:00the whole reason 10 years ago. So now I've got a fucking steel
- 20:05cage and metal bars on the windows for Goose.
- 20:08He's not getting through that. He he can freak out all the fuck
- 20:13he wants, he's not getting. Out of his juices, out of his
- 20:18mind. He will literally tear.
- 20:20He will tear your car apart. Tear you.
- 20:22Apart. Tear you apart.
- 20:24Tear the car apart, put the car in either neutral or reverse
- 20:28while you're driving, and then also try to get underneath the
- 20:31seat that you are driving in. Dog loses his mind.
- 20:35And then when you open the door, whether he's in the back, the
- 20:39front or outside, he jumps outside like.
- 20:42Just scramble through the crack like, let's go, get out, let's
- 20:45go. I've refused to ever take him in
- 20:49the car again because my legs have like trauma bruised on.
- 20:53Them dog is insane so. Demon.
- 20:56Got the cop car, it was an hour and 20 minutes away so it gave
- 21:01me plenty of time on city and Hwy. just to like hear it, just
- 21:04to listen to her, just just let her talk and I love it.
- 21:11I hope it doesn't crush me because everybody gets the fuck
- 21:17out of the way for one it. Was so funny.
- 21:20First and foremost, everybody gets the fuck out of the way.
- 21:23Nobody wants a cop behind them, so they all move over.
- 21:25Everybody gets out of the way. It's awesome.
- 21:28Whenever there's a pack of cars you know a quarter mile ahead of
- 21:34you, the whole pack stays together and nobody drops behind
- 21:37to to you. When there's a pack of cars
- 21:40behind you half mile, nobody wants to come near you, so
- 21:43you're by yourself in the right hand lane.
- 21:46Everybody's doing 70. It's amazing.
- 21:49Nobody cuts you off, nobody tailgates you, nobody fucking
- 21:54starts mean mugging. When I was driving around the
- 21:57the city, whenever I would stop at a stop sign, people would
- 22:01literally look straight ahead and act like I didn't exist like
- 22:04I do. With cops there was.
- 22:07There was no eye contact. Everybody was like, uh, uh, uh,
- 22:10uh, I'm not looking over there. Like if he, if he, I don't make
- 22:12eye contact, he won't pull me over.
- 22:14It was awesome. I was calling him whenever we
- 22:17were like driving back home and I was like, hey, I'm going to
- 22:19stop and get shisha and this guy or whoever came right by right
- 22:25beside us like speeding. And I said, hey, hey, watch this
- 22:28babe. And he goes, he's not going to
- 22:29slow down. Immediately slammed on his
- 22:32brakes and went from like 70 to 50 immediately.
- 22:36And then kind of kind of like was hesitant to go even faster.
- 22:39And then he like you could tell like he was kind of like looking
- 22:43to make sure because like I said, all the decals are off of
- 22:45it. But you still see the cage, you
- 22:47still see the lights, You see like everything.
- 22:50So I could just imagine that this guy was like.
- 22:52I'm not going to risk it, you know, It's insane.
- 22:56There's no tag on it. There's no tag whatsoever.
- 23:01It's just a bareback of the car. Even with no tag the people.
- 23:06Were coming up behind. Me, even with no tag they were
- 23:09like it's. A I'm not going to risk it.
- 23:13They were like, this is a new one by them.
- 23:15They're getting sneakier. I don't like this.
- 23:17Like they, they straight up wouldn't come anywhere near me.
- 23:20They wouldn't even look at me. It was amazing.
- 23:22It's actually everything I've ever wanted in the car.
- 23:25If I could get that with a regular car, great, But you?
- 23:27Could get that in real life with people.
- 23:31Leave me alone. The.
- 23:33Audacity for some people. The first thing I did when I got
- 23:38home was go through it, obviously, and it still has the
- 23:42window sticker from the dealership underneath the spare
- 23:45tire. The owner's manual for that
- 23:48specific year. Police Pursuit Explorer.
- 23:54It's still wrapped in plastic, like sealed cellophane in the
- 23:58trunk. And then it has all of the
- 24:01manuals for all of the stuff that they put on the car.
- 24:04There's also switches everywhere, like little toggle
- 24:08switches. As far as I can tell, they don't
- 24:10do anything anymore, but they're everywhere.
- 24:13They're all over the car, No idea what they do, no idea what
- 24:16they're hooked up to or were hooked up to.
- 24:17They just don't do I. I hope they don't do anything
- 24:20but. Just making Yeah, it's it's
- 24:24beacon out to local. Cops.
- 24:27I've been I've been stolen. Help.
- 24:30You just flip, flip, flip, flip, flip.
- 24:32Yeah. What the fuck's going on?
- 24:37It's it's the cops in Port Orange and they go why the fuck
- 24:40is it in South Carolina? I thought we decommissioned 227.
- 24:47Like what? 189, OK, it's on the top 189.
- 24:53I thought we decommissioned 189? What the fuck?
- 24:57So what the first thing we did? Activated.
- 25:02What is it the the flames of Gallandale or whatever?
- 25:06What is it called Norath? No, no, no, from Lord of the
- 25:09Rings when they're like, I don't know the the pillars of who
- 25:12gives a shit so. Who cares to stand?
- 25:16Yeah. So first thing I did was go
- 25:19through it. Wild shit.
- 25:21By the way, I found field notes all over the car, like people's
- 25:24addresses and names and phone numbers.
- 25:26I'm like, uh oh, got to throw those away.
- 25:29Urno. Going through everything, I
- 25:33found the little bits and pieces that are still kind of like
- 25:36there from the decommission. The second thing I did was come
- 25:40inside and ask ChatGPT. I just bought a decommissioned
- 25:45cop car. How do I monetize this?
- 25:50It said go to college parties or bar main streets and people pay
- 26:02you to take pictures in the back because it's still caged.
- 26:06So they literally have pictures of them in the back of the cop
- 26:09car without being arrested. Yeah, I was like, honestly,
- 26:13that's fucking genius. You go to Columbia, where like
- 26:16the big colleges are and stuff, Yeah.
- 26:19No, that makes sense. What I did was mom was checking
- 26:22out the car after work and I told her to jump in the back
- 26:25just just to be in the back of a cop car because you never have.
- 26:28It's a neat place to be if you're not getting arrested.
- 26:30And I mean, dude, you saw the video right?
- 26:34Just now. Yeah.
- 26:36OK. So you see, I mean it is a full.
- 26:39On. It's a fucking cop car.
- 26:41So the the doors have plastic over them to where there's not
- 26:45even door handles or like the the lock mechanism isn't even
- 26:49sticking out. Full on plastic seats, plastic
- 26:53floor, seat belt, like the whole 9 yards.
- 26:55It is flat out a cop car. So I told mom get in the back,
- 27:00put your hands behind your back. I'm going to take a picture and
- 27:02send it to my siblings. That's fantastic.
- 27:08So I sent the picture to my siblings and I said would y'all
- 27:12happen to be able to get a bail loan for us?
- 27:18So they received a picture of their stroke survivor mother in
- 27:22the back seat of a cop car in her work uniform with her hands
- 27:26behind her back. So messed up.
- 27:31That's hilarious. No, I love it.
- 27:34I'm already in love with it. I didn't tell you the the only.
- 27:40I'm going to say for now the only negative issue that I found
- 27:46after that hour drive that I could hear it do what it needs
- 27:49to do back left bearing. You know the thing that killed
- 27:57my truck, The reason I don't run my truck anymore and I'm getting
- 28:01a new vehicle. I have the same issue so.
- 28:04Hilarious of. Course I think they quoted 2800
- 28:10to 3200 for my truck. They quoted me a grand to do
- 28:13this one. It's not as bad as I thought it
- 28:17would be. It's seven years newer, 7 years
- 28:22of miles less and fucking gangster and all it needs is 1
- 28:28bearing. Yeah, that's that's a get every
- 28:31time. Yeah.
- 28:32Fantastic every time. So I I couldn't be happier.
- 28:36I'm I'm already in love with it. I hope like hell it it's good.
- 28:40I really hope it's good so far. That thing runs like a top dude.
- 28:44Like smooth butter idol at the light.
- 28:48As top should. It is perfect RPM solid and like
- 28:55what do I say? Like there's no vibration.
- 29:02It's it's almost like stop, start, but I promise you it
- 29:06doesn't have that. Yeah, I hate it's like I.
- 29:08Wish I could D program that out of my car.
- 29:13I hate that so much. Our our trailblazer too, but the
- 29:17when you pull it, you at least. Have a button that you can turn
- 29:19it off. I don't, I don't have any way to
- 29:22turn really. Yeah, because that was, it was
- 29:252018-2019 and 2020 GM when they produce those stop starts, they
- 29:31did not program a way to turn it off or have a button, a physical
- 29:36button to turn it off. 2020 was the first year they started to
- 29:39release those buttons. That's bullshit.
- 29:42Yeah, it was the dumbest thing they could have done.
- 29:45I hate it so much. Sounds like Stalin.
- 29:49Yeah, I thought this was a. Matter, that's what.
- 29:52That's what a car sounds like when it doesn't work.
- 29:55Stalin, that's very good. Thank you.
- 29:58So. I don't have a a cheer button,
- 30:01so there's your cheer. When you pull up to the red
- 30:09light it is butter smooth. It drops down to, I shit you
- 30:13not, 600 RPM and you could put a penny on the block.
- 30:18Also, I don't think you got my joke.
- 30:20But that's. OK, no, the other one.
- 30:23Which one? The one that I said.
- 30:24Something about a top and then you said it's smooth as butter
- 30:27and I said it as a top should. And then I like a spin.
- 30:31Thumbs down no. Like a spinning.
- 30:34Top no no like gay butt sex like a.
- 30:37Hey. Hey, this is my Christian
- 30:41Minecraft server. So it's it's butter smooth.
- 30:45The transmission is butter smooth like all the way down the
- 30:49highway, all the way in the city, stop and go, everything
- 30:52The thing is, is perfect dude. I'm so happy with it.
- 30:56I'm I'm going in there to get it titled and registered tomorrow
- 30:59and I hope like fuck, they don't give me any trouble, but I I
- 31:03just want it in my name so I can be like, all right, cool, I got
- 31:06it. It's mine, thankfully.
- 31:08I feel like I'm not going to see you for a while.
- 31:10You're happy with the other bitch?
- 31:13I do plan on, I do plan on maybe not making content about it, but
- 31:20at least doing it once and talking about it on the pod.
- 31:25I'm going to park on a blind curve and just point my nose at
- 31:31traffic and just see what happens.
- 31:34I just want to see people freak out.
- 31:35I think that's hilarious. My favorite is watching people
- 31:40slam on their brakes going past a cop.
- 31:43I'm like every single time. They've already caught you.
- 31:49They knew 200 feet. Back.
- 31:51They knew four blocks down the road that you were speeding, so
- 31:54you slamming on your brakes the moment you see them, they've
- 31:57they already caught you, you're done.
- 32:00So it cracks me up. I'm sure 50% of the time the
- 32:03cops that are sitting there are just watching that and laughing
- 32:06their ass off. Idiot, idiot, idiot.
- 32:13So I want to do that at least once, just just for the fun of
- 32:16it. And then I drive so fucking much
- 32:21for work. I'm about to be driving like 3
- 32:231/2 hours every pretty much every day, whether it's going
- 32:28one way, 3 1/2 hours or round trip 3 1/2 hours.
- 32:33I'm about to be running this thing around everywhere,
- 32:36multiple states, every highway. Like, I'm going to have so much
- 32:40fun, dude. Yeah, that's amazing.
- 32:44I'm kind of hoping because it still has lights and the tint
- 32:50and the cage and everything along with it.
- 32:52I'm hoping that if I'm ever speeding, the cops are like,
- 32:57it's got to be an undercover from another, you know, county.
- 33:01Just let him go. I'm praying like fuck that's how
- 33:04it works. Probably not.
- 33:07But I'm I'm so happy with it already.
- 33:11It's great. I want to get the the front LE
- 33:14DS that they tore out of it. There's like these little little
- 33:17tiny rock lights, just little 3 inch like light bars that they
- 33:21have in the grill. There's only two of them and
- 33:24they just snatch those out of the grill and I have no idea
- 33:26why. They're like this big and
- 33:28they're they're just missing from the grill.
- 33:30I'm like, why, why? Why did you pull those out?
- 33:33What? What good would it be?
- 33:35You have two on the back windshield as well.
- 33:37Yeah, I say those are still there, but they pulled the
- 33:40little babies out of the out of the deck.
- 33:42I'm like why? Why would you take those?
- 33:44If anything, take the backlights.
- 33:45They're huge, like fully cop lights, but they took the little
- 33:49front lights out. I've no idea.
- 33:51I I couldn't tell you. So happy.
- 33:56So I have something that is not along the same path, but I would
- 34:03like to wish a very, very happy birthday to somebody.
- 34:11Oh yeah. Fatto Fatu Happy 69th birthday
- 34:19to the world's oldest gorilla living in captivity at the
- 34:22Berlin Zoo today. Get the fuck out of here.
- 34:26I thought I was going to be one of my segments.
- 34:29Oh, I'm sorry. No, it's fine.
- 34:33I literally ChatGPT D it and I was going to ask what you guys,
- 34:37what you wanted to do, but that's funny.
- 34:41It's so funny. Happy birthday looking up shit
- 34:43that I do. We all use the same AI and it
- 34:46gives the same answer. No, I, I was, I was looking up
- 34:53interesting news stories and that was one of the first ones
- 34:56that popped up for this week. And I was like, oh hell yeah,
- 34:5969. That works for our fans.
- 35:02I'm going to let you be the news story guy.
- 35:07I'm not going to do it at all because I know what that does.
- 35:10You you get down that road and by the end of it you're a
- 35:12political podcast and I'm not going to do that shit.
- 35:15Oh, yeah. No, no, no.
- 35:16I'm. Going to let you you do it.
- 35:17I'm I'm just going to entertain it and.
- 35:20I I I don't look it for anything other than the most wild stuff
- 35:25that I can possibly find. Like an update to the quadruple
- 35:30amputee cornhole player. He's officially been indicted.
- 35:36There was pictures that surfaced on social media and news
- 35:41organizations. I I don't have them anymore.
- 35:44I don't know where they are, but there's pictures of him actually
- 35:48holding a firearm. News organizations have posted
- 35:53it. Yeah.
- 35:53So apparently that's entirely possible.
- 35:57So. Yeah, I saw it.
- 35:58I don't know if it was doing it. I thought it was bullshit.
- 36:01I thought, I mean, I don't know if it was go go gadget, firearm
- 36:05or whatnot, but he's. Officially been invited.
- 36:10Alexa, fire the Glock. Boom.
- 36:16And then the the final thing, and I'm going to wish a very
- 36:21speedy recovery to this 24 year old. 24 year old two time cancer
- 36:28survivor has been hospitalized for Botulism after eating her
- 36:34friend's homemade fermented swordfish.
- 36:39So speedy recovery to them. I really thought you were going
- 36:43to say ass. I was like, brother, what the
- 36:45fuck are we talking about? So that's that's what I wanted
- 36:50to bring to the table today with that.
- 36:57I'm I'm so happy about a 69 year old gorilla.
- 37:02That's so dope. Absolutely.
- 37:04We could have. We could have had 269 year old
- 37:06gorillas but some fucking kid want to jump in your fucking
- 37:09enclosure. About that gorilla.
- 37:12RIP the Haram. She was reportedly traded by a
- 37:16French sailor to settle a bar tab in the 50s.
- 37:19Fuck yes by a what sailor? French wee wee.
- 37:27Of course, of course they're surrendering again.
- 37:33I fold. I fold.
- 37:34I fold. What's the most ridiculous thing
- 37:38y'all would settle up would sell to like settle a bar tab?
- 37:44Like something that I own. Like trade?
- 37:46Currently. Yeah.
- 37:48Honestly my Olympic watch. Your Olympic watch?
- 37:51Yeah, the pass down one in the cereal box.
- 37:56That would be you better bet your house and I will give you
- 38:01this 1992. Is it 92 or 98?
- 38:06When was the Olympics in the 90s?
- 38:08I know it was twice. I don't know 92.
- 38:14Anyway, they did a commemorative Kodak Olympic watch with a strap
- 38:21handle, like almost like army rucksack strap handle in a gold
- 38:29Kodak Olympic watch. Dude, it's fucking awesome.
- 38:34I honestly, I was like, I want to get it redone and I still do.
- 38:38I just, I don't know. I don't know if I want to do
- 38:39right now. I want to get it redone and
- 38:41start wearing it because it's it is fucking dope, dude.
- 38:45It's the coolest watch. It's pretty.
- 38:49What would be your your last resort?
- 38:51What would you bet? I mean, people, they got to put
- 38:54that. They got to put the house on the
- 38:55table for you to put this down. Oh man, I don't think I have
- 39:04anything of that crazy amount of value.
- 39:11Oh that's the thing, the watch is like 25 bucks on eBay.
- 39:14Yeah, but but to me, I mean, to me that is like, I mean, sure,
- 39:21my cameras maybe like, but I I wouldn't be like, oh, put your
- 39:29house down in order for me to bet that it's like, OK, I can, I
- 39:34can spare with them as long as it it's close to the realistic
- 39:38price. Like I'm not too fussed about
- 39:42that. I don't know.
- 39:46It's. Because he doesn't play poker
- 39:48like we do. Yeah, I don't.
- 39:50I do not. Fucking degenerate gamblers over
- 39:53here. I'd give Goose.
- 39:55I would give Goose. Well.
- 39:58That's not a need I've got like. I've got like a card from Rummy
- 40:06and a a deuce of spades and I'm like, I bet goose, I bet goose.
- 40:11Oh no. Oh no.
- 40:13Oh, no, Honestly. You got to take him.
- 40:15Home. Don't put him.
- 40:18In the back seat. There's like two things where
- 40:21I'm like, no, I wouldn't want to do it, but I'm guessing that's
- 40:24what you're like talking about with like you're watching stuff,
- 40:27The rocking chair and Oh yeah, my little stuffed animal, Darby.
- 40:34Yeah, I wouldn't, I wouldn't sell it just to sell it.
- 40:36It would need to be somebody has bet a $280,000 cabin in Montana.
- 40:43I'm like, OK, I will give you this watch.
- 40:46That is what I'm willing to wager because this watch is that
- 40:48like valuable to me. Yeah, it'd be that rocking
- 40:53chair. Or my stuffed animal that I've
- 40:56had since literally like first or second grade that I still
- 40:59have. She has a vintage infant rocking
- 41:03chair. It's literally the size of an
- 41:04infant and it's the creepiest fucking thing I've ever seen.
- 41:08I think it's behind us. It always is behind us in every
- 41:11house we ever go to. For some reason, I turn around
- 41:14and it like, you know when you see something kind of move and
- 41:17you're like, I know that fucking thing was just rocking.
- 41:19Like you turn around, you're like.
- 41:24I think it was my dad's. I guess the the only thing that
- 41:29pops really truly pops into my head for something that's super
- 41:33valuable to me. I had AI, don't remember which
- 41:41branch, but it was a veteran who rode motorcycles to raise money
- 41:48for the M i.e. MIAPOWS and basically he would
- 41:54ride across the country like two or three times a year to raise
- 41:59money for, you know, the MIAs and PO WS and and do a whole
- 42:05bunch of that type of stuff. He gave me a challenge coin when
- 42:12I sold him a vehicle. I helped to pick out the right
- 42:14truck to the the toy hauler and all that stuff.
- 42:18That's funny. He gave me it's, it's in my car
- 42:23because that's where I feel the the most need for it for me.
- 42:28But yeah, it's a, it's a full on challenge coin and.
- 42:31That's dope. Yeah, he's like, I don't give
- 42:33these out. So he came back to to the
- 42:37dealership because he had to bring, bring it from home, came
- 42:40back specifically to give that to me.
- 42:42So I guess that's that or, you know, something, something that
- 42:50was my grandpa's that I have because I guess I, I would never
- 42:56get rid of those or, you know, but yeah, that that would
- 43:00probably be the the thing that pops into my head first.
- 43:05Yeah, I, I was thinking engagement ring and I was like,
- 43:07I'm never, ever, ever getting rid of that.
- 43:09Ever. We can buy another one.
- 43:11No. Get the house in Montana.
- 43:13No, whenever you said the challenge coin thing and you're
- 43:17like, I don't give these out. I thought of the funniest bit on
- 43:20the I would never do it, but I think it'd be hilarious.
- 43:24Go to eBay and buy like a a gallon bag with like 50 of them
- 43:28in it because somebody's just selling challenge coins.
- 43:31You give them to people for just mundane shit.
- 43:34They hold the door open for you and you give them a challenge
- 43:36coin. You're like, I don't give these
- 43:38out. Guy sells you a car.
- 43:44You're like, I don't give these out.
- 43:45Yeah, oh man. That's so good.
- 43:49That's good. Terrible, but good.
- 43:52I'm going to have a weird year. I'm going to have a bag full of
- 43:55challenge coins in an ex cop car just giving them out to people
- 43:59who like put groceries in the car.
- 44:01It's going to be a weird year for me.
- 44:04Oh man, because. That's what I needed was more
- 44:08shit. That's just completely People
- 44:11see it and they're like, why? Why would you do that?
- 44:15Because I don't have enough. That's fantastic.
- 44:19Oh, I want to do that now. I want to do that so bad.
- 44:23I don't know what the the semantics are on non veterans
- 44:27giving out challenge coins. No idea, I think it's hilarious.
- 44:30I think you can have a challenge coin that doesn't have to do
- 44:33with being a veteran. You can just create.
- 44:36Your own. It's the thanks hated at
- 44:38Challenge Coin. And we just give them out to
- 44:40people. Yes, that's good.
- 44:45You see some unhinged shit and you go up just to cause a ruckus
- 44:49and and. I was thinking that that's
- 44:51exactly what I like. I, I want to give it to the
- 44:54people who like, do the thing in public where I stop and like, I
- 44:58go backwards a few steps just to tilt my head.
- 45:01I'm like, what's going on like? You give it to the things that
- 45:04you hate the most. Yes.
- 45:06Like what you did? Like what you saw today at the
- 45:08DMV? Like I give them the challenge
- 45:10point. I'm like you deserve.
- 45:11This Here you go, I hate. You on our podcast that's I'm
- 45:16telling the story of what I just witnessed on our podcast.
- 45:21Don't ask ChatGPT if we're allowed to have challenge coins
- 45:24because it'll say yes. And then we'll get cancelled.
- 45:29All the boomers, every boomer gets a challenge.
- 45:30Coin. We'll get one.
- 45:33You fucks. So funny.
- 45:36They give me one back, they're like, I was a nom fuck face.
- 45:39I'm like, oh Jesus. Well.
- 45:45Yeah, but you did some real stupid shit just now, so you
- 45:47deserve this one too. That's good.
- 45:54Yeah. Well, I worked retail.
- 45:56It's the same thing. It's the same thing.
- 45:58Yeah, it's worse. It's worse.
- 46:02Yeah, well, while you were dealing with napalm, I had to
- 46:05deal with your ass. I was thinking.
- 46:08Oh no Agent Orange. Try sorting orange by shade.
- 46:12Oh. My God.
- 46:17That's so. That's so, dude.
- 46:18Oh my God, that's so stupid. Hated it.
- 46:23That's so. Good.
- 46:29How was your week bud? It was decent.
- 46:34I managed to get some things done on this project that I'm
- 46:40working on, so that's moving along very quickly, hopefully
- 46:46being able to be done very soon, so that's good.
- 46:55Managed to dethatch my yard. I actually.
- 47:02Had the time to do that and it actually handled really well.
- 47:10It did not destroy as much as I thought it could.
- 47:16Obviously the the fresh growing grass is not going to RIP out
- 47:21because the whole thing is just ripping the dead stuff off the
- 47:24top. So but there was still quite a
- 47:28bit that still had roots that were there.
- 47:32So that made me think, OK, so some of this is just in the the
- 47:37stage where it's in dormancy. So it'll come back if the roots
- 47:43are still like a hold, you know? When's the last time you did a
- 47:48fertilizer? I I am doing that here very
- 47:52soon. I'm OK.
- 47:54I was going to say that's like every three months.
- 47:57Yeah, yeah. So I did.
- 47:59It. I don't remember when I last did
- 48:02it, but it's time to do it again.
- 48:05He sent me the picture of the dethatch and it's insane because
- 48:09when he cuts he actually bags it.
- 48:11So the idea that there's something to thatch is crazy.
- 48:17Well, it's a Caterpillar. Dead.
- 48:19That's There's enough dead matter from IS.
- 48:23This yours like the one that you did that you both did together.
- 48:28What's up? Is this the grass that you
- 48:30helped him with? Yeah, that's at the Sanford.
- 48:32Why does it look like that, Ryan?
- 48:34That's the D thatch. That's the D thatch.
- 48:36Why isn't it? Why isn't it green anymore?
- 48:40Because what I just said the. Dormancy.
- 48:44It was green when he was there. Yeah, it was OK.
- 48:48Motherfucking I'm not going. To argue with this anymore, I'm
- 48:52not going to argue with this anymore because clearly people
- 48:55don't understand the type of grass that we put down.
- 49:01You're. Arguing I I saw the picture with
- 49:03a dethatcher. I just showed Amber.
- 49:05You just listened to respond Ryan.
- 49:09So he said you don't need to dethatch your yard with
- 49:13quotation marks. And I I said, who doesn't need
- 49:16to dethatch? Because I'm like, you certainly
- 49:18need to dethatch. Look at that.
- 49:20Like look at that picture. It's crazy.
- 49:21And he said, you literally told me that when I mentioned it to
- 49:24you guys where you were here. I said, I said that ain't no way
- 49:27he goes. You said something along the
- 49:29lines that I didn't need to dethatch, it's fine.
- 49:32And I said, buddy, you got to stop having these vivid dreams
- 49:35about talking like us, us talking like it never happened.
- 49:39I promise you it did. It was probably.
- 49:42I I you were, I guarantee it did.
- 49:46Oh my God you just reminded me. Anything else with your week?
- 49:53I I was just going to say, I'm going to put together a sifter
- 49:57to sift out the compost and I'm going to put a layer of that
- 50:00down. Oh yeah, that's why we did that.
- 50:04I forgot so. I'm working on, I'm working on
- 50:07getting that set up, which is why I kind of held back the
- 50:10fertilizer because that's going to do a lot.
- 50:13Yes, it is. That's a ton of of organic
- 50:17matter that you got 2 like, what is it, 4 by 4 by 4 plot?
- 50:24Like it's huge. So that's going to turn out
- 50:30really well with that, especially with that topsoil
- 50:33compost. Yeah, that stuff's going to go
- 50:35right through it. It's going to be like a carpet.
- 50:37Again, I'm telling you, you got to get a real mower REEL.
- 50:42So I'm glad you reminded me about this from the last episode
- 50:50where I didn't know which state was the state.
- 50:52Yeah, 'cause I'm, I have reading disorder.
- 50:56So I finally caught up on the episodes at at the end of one of
- 51:03the episodes, I think it's 33. It was last one last week.
- 51:06The minute that I say. He's a real 1.
- 51:10He's a real one that that point on.
- 51:15I don't remember any of that. I was, I had so much medication
- 51:19in me. I don't remember he's a real
- 51:22one. Anything past that I, I have no
- 51:25idea. I said it, I when I heard it, I
- 51:27was hearing it for the first time.
- 51:31I was like, I literally was like, what the fuck am I talking
- 51:34about? And then right at the end of the
- 51:36podcast I said something about a chart with a meme in it and I'm
- 51:39like, what am I talking? Who is this like?
- 51:43You are looking at a a like a porn comment of the week or
- 51:46something like that. No idea.
- 51:47Yeah, no, no idea. When I heard it, I thought it
- 51:49was hilarious. First time I've ever heard it.
- 51:51So I thought to myself, what I'm going to do for one of these
- 51:55segments is I'm going to go through every state and I'm
- 51:58going to say what that state is known for.
- 52:02This should be good. Oh my God.
- 52:05So couple things. There's too many states.
- 52:12I had to write that down. There's too many states.
- 52:16There's so many fucking states. Why is there so many states?
- 52:20Do you know how many states there are?
- 52:2150 something 49 I don't know, I think it's 50 with Alaska. 51
- 52:27anyway. Oh my God, I forgot to put
- 52:29Alaska on my list. So, oh, Puerto Rico.
- 52:37It's not a state. I knew he was going to say that.
- 52:40He always says that every time I talk about Puerto Rico.
- 52:42He's like, they're not real Americans, so.
- 52:45I never said that. So I found out there are way too
- 52:50many states. Way too many states.
- 52:52We need to. There's a clip on the Internet
- 52:55called Subway Takes where a comedian asks strangers on the
- 53:00subway, what's your take? And one of their takes is, I saw
- 53:03this a while ago. The guy was like, there's too
- 53:05many states. We don't need this many states.
- 53:08We can we can put the Dakotas together, the Carolinas go
- 53:10together. We can put, you know, this gets
- 53:13absorbed by this that goes into that.
- 53:15We move this over here. And it made sense.
- 53:20I was like, I mean, interesting take.
- 53:23I don't really have an opinion because I don't know states
- 53:27clearly. So when I looked on a map, Ryan,
- 53:32there are too many fucking states.
- 53:33There's way too many states. I also found out I don't know
- 53:39shit, so I did as many as I could from memory.
- 53:44Like if I were to just write them down, how many would I?
- 53:49How many could I get through before I went?
- 53:51Yep, I don't know anymore. I got like 23.
- 53:57OK, so just shy of half. I forgot the Dakotas existed.
- 54:04Completely forgot Dakotas were a thing.
- 54:06Oh my. God.
- 54:07What's up? Oh yeah, so I forgot the code
- 54:11has existed. Always forget about Connecticut.
- 54:15New Hampshire. Rhode Island.
- 54:18No, I remember Rhode Island, I say.
- 54:20It's always like there's a thing about it, Like I always, I
- 54:25always think like Jersey. I know that's not it.
- 54:27I'm aware, but I don't know states.
- 54:29I don't know shit. So I I forgot Kansas, Idaho.
- 54:39Who you calling a home? Indiana.
- 54:44I just forgot these existed. I'm like, I've never, I've never
- 54:48even heard of a thing you got to.
- 54:50Sing the 50 nifty song. I will give you the first three
- 54:56states out of my lineup and what I know them for and what I think
- 55:01they're known for. All right, OK, Georgia, I've
- 55:07been in there every weekend. So I'm, I'm fully acquainted
- 55:10with Georgia now. Georgia knows one thing, and
- 55:14it's the Masters. Masters of what?
- 55:19Exactly. So golf, everybody is a Masters
- 55:24fan, everybody goes to the Masters, but they can't because
- 55:27they can't actually get tickets because that's not how the
- 55:29Masters works. But everybody wants to act like
- 55:31they just came from the Masters by wearing their pimento hats
- 55:34and their Masters shirts and all that bullshit and it's all they
- 55:39talk about. It's all they fucking talk
- 55:42about. And I understand, I worked
- 55:43through the Masters week, so that's all people are going to
- 55:45talk about, but it's all they fucking talk about.
- 55:47Are you wearing a Masters hat right now?
- 55:50No, it's a Westin. It's a Westin Trading Company
- 55:53one. It's the Masters stylized design
- 55:58of it for their mini masters. They do on masters weekend.
- 56:02That's funny. So they do a an 18 hole mini
- 56:07golf course throughout downtown Sanford.
- 56:10So each hole is at a different restaurant.
- 56:14I like that a lot. Yeah, it's awesome, awesome
- 56:17event. So that's.
- 56:19That's what I know Georgia for. It's just masters.
- 56:23South Carolina, where we are now, it's known.
- 56:26It's known for shit roads. That is what South Carolina is.
- 56:31It's shit roads for some reason. Every single fucking.
- 56:35Road every Rd. when you come When you cross the Georgia
- 56:38border it goes from perfectly paved roads.
- 56:42Like the second you cross the border, the road dips and then
- 56:46you immediately start like shit roads all the way up to North
- 56:51Carolina, which are better shit roads.
- 56:55My third state is Washington. I know Washington for twilight
- 57:00or crime. That's it.
- 57:05I mean, I know there are trees, big fucking trees, and I know
- 57:09there's a fuck load of crime in in Portland.
- 57:13Portland's, not Washington. Seattle.
- 57:16The other one, the other one, the other Portland.
- 57:18Yes. Again, I wrote down I don't know
- 57:20shit. We know this.
- 57:23So that's going to be one of my bits.
- 57:25I'm going to say which state and what I know them for.
- 57:29And I've got, I think I've got most of them.
- 57:31Did you see what Washington, DC is known for?
- 57:34What? Yeah.
- 57:37What do you think? Washington, DC is known for
- 57:39Ryan. Oh God, I don't even.
- 57:43I don't, obviously. I feel like an idiot.
- 57:47I'm trying. I'm trying to edify my brain.
- 57:51So I can thank you. Thank you.
- 57:53I was like, Washington, DC is in a state.
- 57:57No, it's a district. Right, that's what I thought.
- 57:59It's a district. It's.
- 58:00It's a district. It's actually a District of
- 58:04Columbia. Thank you.
- 58:06Yes. So yeah, edify your brain and
- 58:12just tell me what DC is known for.
- 58:14Just remember, we're on the Thanks Hated It podcast.
- 58:16This is the you listen to this to get sad.
- 58:19You. You listen to this and walk away
- 58:23and go, What am I doing? You can't have two of the same
- 58:27things for. I can do what I want, it's my
- 58:30list. Yeah, I, I, I.
- 58:32Will change one of them. I was going to put New York and
- 58:35California as the same thing, and then I was like, Nah,
- 58:38California. You have for New York.
- 58:42Nothing yet, because I was going to do what California was
- 58:44anyway. We know what Washington, DC is
- 58:49known for. Say it with me, guys.
- 58:51Pedophiles. That's good.
- 58:54Yeah. I was trying to figure out, man,
- 58:56I was like crying. Timestamp that but.
- 59:00That's yeah. No.
- 59:04That's good. Meth, yeah.
- 59:08That causes death. So does one SEC.
- 59:13I'm conferring with my Co host. Talk, talk, talk, talk.
- 59:27I I conferred with my Co host. You guys will love this list.
- 59:31So that's going to be I don't know if I'm going to do it like
- 59:33a few an episode or if I'll do it all at once.
- 59:36I think I'm going to do a few an episode.
- 59:38I like I like the few an episode.
- 59:40I'll do a few an episode, that's fine.
- 59:42I'll have fucking 50 something to do.
- 59:45So that was, I'm glad you reminded me because that was one
- 59:48of my bits. I was like, I don't know the
- 59:49states because I don't know where the fuck any of this stuff
- 59:52is, and apparently there's two Washingtons didn't know that so.
- 59:56You found that out last episode. I don't know if you guys know
- 1:00:00this. I didn't graduate.
- 1:00:03I know how to rebuild a hemi from scratch.
- 1:00:08I can do that in a weekend. I couldn't do that shit.
- 1:00:12To to call back to a previous episode, I don't remember which
- 1:00:15number, but the Ask Bob segment that I saw a video of recently,
- 1:00:21Yes. And I want to ask you the same.
- 1:00:25I want to ask you the same because I want to see what your
- 1:00:27answer is and see if you get it right.
- 1:00:30OK. What is the definition and name
- 1:00:34an example of nocturnal? Get the fuck out of here.
- 1:00:42I saw, I saw. It there was a bug?
- 1:00:44Focusing on it flying around. You could see the bug in the
- 1:00:47camera. Yeah, holy.
- 1:00:49Shit, it's massive. I'm not going to lie.
- 1:00:52There's always jets and like, helicopters.
- 1:00:54I thought that was a distant helicopter.
- 1:00:57It's huge. We're in the woods, folks.
- 1:01:00Nocturnal. Nocturnal and you want.
- 1:01:02Like the actual definition and an example.
- 1:01:05Just just name your best definition of it.
- 1:01:08It doesn't have to be the perfect definition, just as long
- 1:01:12as we understand what it is. The nighttime uppies.
- 1:01:20That's good. Very good.
- 1:01:23I would say the definition of nocturnal is the the I don't
- 1:01:29know what the word is the phase in which that particular thing
- 1:01:39is awake at night. Me night time uppies.
- 1:01:43And I don't like the whatever the word phase is like the that
- 1:01:46the the SIM symptom of that thing that is awake at night.
- 1:01:54And then an example would be Amber has been nocturnal for
- 1:01:57like 2 weeks. So.
- 1:01:59Straight up nocturnal. So yeah, pretty much it's just
- 1:02:04it's an animal that is spends A predominant amount of its awake
- 1:02:09time at night, so. I wake up at or I woke up Amber
- 1:02:14is crazy at 6:00 at night and I didn't go to bed.
- 1:02:19No, that day I stayed up until 29 hours straight.
- 1:02:23Yeah, she just kept going over. Yeah, we do that a lot here for
- 1:02:27some reason. So Amber.
- 1:02:28Amber would be a correct example of that.
- 1:02:32Night time uppies now let me tell you.
- 1:02:34What Bob's answer was, which is. Just.
- 1:02:39Fantastic sometimes. Sometimes I think he's doing it
- 1:02:45for the bit. There's no fucking way he
- 1:02:48doesn't know what nocturnal is. The amount of content I've
- 1:02:53watched from him, I think he's 100% serious.
- 1:02:59That sucks. Yeah, this dude, this dude makes
- 1:03:03you. Look like a scholar.
- 1:03:05Ow, Bob's making him at night. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 1:03:14No, his answer was Nocturnal is an animal that can spend part of
- 1:03:23its life underwater and part of its life on the ground, like
- 1:03:28above water. Holy fucking shit.
- 1:03:31And he's the look on his face when the his two Co hosts just
- 1:03:38die laughing. The look on his face is pure
- 1:03:42confusion. He's like, isn't that what it
- 1:03:43means? No way.
- 1:03:47There's no. Way and then one of them says
- 1:03:52that would be an amphibian, which is partially true but not
- 1:03:58the actual name for what he described because they gave an
- 1:04:02example as a Gator and a Gator is not an amphibian so.
- 1:04:06No, it would be a whale. Jesus Christ all over the road
- 1:04:10there. But yeah, so that was his
- 1:04:14answer. So you are officially smarter
- 1:04:17than Bob. Would fucking hope so.
- 1:04:20I hope it's a bit dude. The other video that are from
- 1:04:27that whole crew is one of his Co hosts on that show.
- 1:04:32The brilliantly dumb show is Joey Cold cuts and they're
- 1:04:39they're leaving their Airbnb but they do not have the remote
- 1:04:43garage door closer like Clicker. So he runs into the garage to
- 1:04:51hit the button on the wall and then to run out and jump over
- 1:04:55the sensor. Yeah.
- 1:04:57Doesn't bend his head down far enough and just completely
- 1:05:01clothes lines himself on the door and it's one of the
- 1:05:04funniest videos on the Internet. I can tell you right now I have,
- 1:05:10I have like cracked my neck down into my spine by smacking it on
- 1:05:17a rafter in an attic. The the trauma that that guy
- 1:05:23endured when he jumped up at full force and hit that garage
- 1:05:29door. Dude, he's lucky he did.
- 1:05:32Genuinely lucky he didn't break his fucking neck.
- 1:05:35That video I thought he broke his fucking neck.
- 1:05:40You so you've seen that video. Yes.
- 1:05:43Amber, I will play the audio and I'll send you the link to it to
- 1:05:47watch later, but I want to play the audio on camera.
- 1:05:49No, he don't work again, though he didn't speak it'll.
- 1:05:53Work same. Prompt.
- 1:05:55It'll work. Watch your head.
- 1:05:59It's. Going to hit his head.
- 1:06:01Watch your head. That bang you hear is him making
- 1:06:04contact with the garage door. The garage door goes up and
- 1:06:09bends. Cute.
- 1:06:11The the trauma force that goat went into the top of his spine
- 1:06:15dude. Maybe that's why he's not the
- 1:06:18smartest, no? No, that's that's Jimmy Cold
- 1:06:21Subs Joey Cold. Cuts.
- 1:06:26Same fucking thing. Jimmy Cold Subs.
- 1:06:29He's never had a toasted. He's never had a toasted
- 1:06:32sandwich in his life. Italian combo.
- 1:06:34Oh my gosh, that's fantastic. Yeah, that's that's what came
- 1:06:41across. I wanted to test you on that
- 1:06:43there. I don't have my timer, we got
- 1:06:47time. We got like 5 minutes.
- 1:06:51OK, I'm going to do question and comment for all you biscuits out
- 1:06:59there that wait patiently all week for these porn comments of
- 1:07:04the week. OK, I'm going to let you guys
- 1:07:11hear the screen name and then I'm just going to explain to you
- 1:07:14what it means. OMW 2 FYB 1000.
- 1:07:20OMW 2 FYB on. My way to fuck your bitch 2000.
- 1:07:27It's not 2000, it's 1000. But yeah, on my way to fuck your
- 1:07:32bitch. 1000, right, he commented.
- 1:07:35For every like I get, I nut a day.
- 1:07:38Oh. My God.
- 1:07:40OK. 418 likes. Oh my God.
- 1:07:47He commented underneath it one year later, you know, 418 days
- 1:07:55and he said, I think I'm dying. Oh.
- 1:07:57My God, yeah. He commented a year later on the
- 1:08:03same porn video and he said I think I'm dying.
- 1:08:07That's impressive. That's a level of commitment
- 1:08:12that I love. Yeah, that's that's an
- 1:08:14impressive commitment to the bit.
- 1:08:18I have a philosophical question for the two of you all.
- 1:08:21Right. You are given an axe.
- 1:08:29I'm killing Ryan. Regular axe, It's a wood handle,
- 1:08:36metal head. It's just an axe, there's
- 1:08:40nothing special. It was just given to you and
- 1:08:44after using it for a little while after you get it, you
- 1:08:46realize it's loose. There are chips missing.
- 1:08:51It's a new axe. Yeah, so after a while, you ask
- 1:08:57somebody, hey, can you go ahead and cut me a new handle, inlay
- 1:09:02it with my last name. I want to give it down to my
- 1:09:04kids, the whole 90 yards zoo, make it last.
- 1:09:10So it's got a new handle. After five or six years, the axe
- 1:09:18is fairly used up. You got it used.
- 1:09:20And now at this point, they can't even sharpen the head
- 1:09:22anymore. There's just not enough material
- 1:09:24left. So you get a new axe head.
- 1:09:28Is it the same axe? No, it's a new axe.
- 1:09:35It's a new axe. I don't think it's a new axe.
- 1:09:40It's. A completely different axe.
- 1:09:43Is it? Yeah.
- 1:09:45I think what? I don't think it's.
- 1:09:47I think what the the differentiating factor between.
- 1:09:51Because I think what Amber is trying to say is.
- 1:09:54The differentiating factor between the axe and the ship is
- 1:10:01the axe. Ship I'm tired of.
- 1:10:03Talking about what ship? What ship?
- 1:10:05You know exactly what? Talking about an axe.
- 1:10:08The axe head is the axe, you know.
- 1:10:13The handle is just a way to provide leverage.
- 1:10:18So if you replace the axe head, you're replacing the axe.
- 1:10:23That's that's what I would say. Because then it's just a stick,
- 1:10:27yeah. Yeah, I'm down, but you got it
- 1:10:29inlaid. It is.
- 1:10:31It is part of the axe now. It's not just a handle for
- 1:10:34leverage, it is a special handle with your last name.
- 1:10:37It's just a handle. It's.
- 1:10:38Gold inlaid with it's been. It's made out of cherry, you
- 1:10:43know what I mean? It this is a special handle.
- 1:10:45It's not just a stick. This is your axe.
- 1:10:49I mean, you can pass it down and keep doing that and the
