- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. So according to Pound Bondi, Jay Clayton over
- 0:08Speaker 1: at the SDNY is going to head up the investigation
- 0:11Speaker 1: into people like Bill Clinton, people like Larry Summers, and
- 0:15Speaker 1: others who were allegedly involved with Jeffrey Epstein. Which is
- 0:19Speaker 1: pretty funny in itself, considering that Jay Clayton used to
- 0:24Speaker 1: work for Apollo Global. You know, the company founded by
- 0:27Speaker 1: Leon Black. So let's take a look at the background
- 0:31Speaker 1: of the man that's been tapped by Pam Bondi to,
- 0:35Speaker 1: I guess, investigate Epstein again, even though there was no
- 0:38Speaker 1: information or evidence, according to Pam Bondi herself, that would
- 0:42Speaker 1: lead to a new investigation. But I guess they found something.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So who is Jay Clayton? Well, this is a man
- 0:49Speaker 1: that was born in Virginia. He was a guy that
- 0:53Speaker 1: went to school at Pennsylvania University. And then he went
- 0:57Speaker 1: to the College of Cambridge in the UK. From there,
- 1:00Speaker 1: he went to the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Then
- 1:03Speaker 1: his legal career after school, he was a clerk for
- 1:07Speaker 1: Marvin Katz at the U.S. District Court of the Southern
- 1:09Speaker 1: Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Then we had him working for
- 1:15Speaker 1: Kurt Weldon, who was a U.S. representative in 92. Then
- 1:19Speaker 1: his legal practice was with Sullivan and Cromwell in 1995.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Then he was promoted to a partner there at 2001.
- 1:28Speaker 1: While he was there, he specialized in mergers, acquisitions, capital markets, IPOs, etc.,
- 1:34Speaker 1: and represented major Wall Street firms and corporations. He served
- 1:38Speaker 1: on the firm's management committee and was co-managing partner of
- 1:42Speaker 1: the General Practice Group and its head of corporate practice.
- 1:46Speaker 1: He also advised during the 2008 financial crisis. He advised,
- 1:49Speaker 1: for instance, Bear Stearns in its sale to JPMorgan Chase
- 1:52Speaker 1: and Barclays in the accusation of Lehman Brothers assets. Sounds
- 1:57Speaker 1: like a guy that was right there ensconced with all
- 1:59Speaker 1: of Epstein's friends. But sure, let's have him investigate. Represented
- 2:04Speaker 1: large clients such as Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, SoftBank, and others. Well,
- 2:08Speaker 1: no wonder Donald Trump wants this dude to investigate. Talk
- 2:12Speaker 1: about the fix being in. What sort of government service
- 2:15Speaker 1: has he done? Well, on January 4th, 2017, Trump announced
- 2:19Speaker 1: his intention to nominate Clayton as SEC chair. The Senate
- 2:23Speaker 1: confirmed him. On May 4th, 2017, he was sworn in.
- 2:28Speaker 1: He served as the SEC chair from May 4th, 2017
- 2:32Speaker 1: until December 23rd, 2020. In February of 2021, he was
- 2:37Speaker 1: appointed the lead independent director of Apollo Global, Leon Black's company.
- 2:42Speaker 1: After his SEC tenure, he rejoined Sullivan and Cromwell as
- 2:45Speaker 1: senior policy advisor and and was adjunct professor at University
- 2:49Speaker 1: of Pennsylvania. In April 2025, he was appointed by Attorney
- 2:55Speaker 1: General Pam Bondi as interim U.S. Attorney for the Southern
- 2:58Speaker 1: District of New York. His appointment is controversial in part
- 3:01Speaker 1: because of his background in corporate law and regulatory service,
- 3:05Speaker 1: rather than as a prosecutor. Well, he fits right in
- 3:07Speaker 1: with the other people Trump chose. I'm looking at you,
- 3:10Speaker 1: baby Billy Blanche, you absolute moron. And furthermore, what did
- 3:14Speaker 1: Pam Bondi know about Epstein while she was down in Florida? Oh,
- 3:17Speaker 1: we don't want to talk about that, right? All of
- 3:19Speaker 1: these Epstein adjacent people that are part of Trump's cabinet,
- 3:23Speaker 1: part of Trump's administration, and people don't want to talk
- 3:26Speaker 1: about it, huh? I wonder why. Because it's honestly hysterical,
- 3:30Speaker 1: like deranged circus clown hysterical, that Pam Bondi, the White
- 3:33Speaker 1: House cheerleader, who treated the so-called Epstein file release like
- 3:36Speaker 1: a halftime show at a high school football game, would
- 3:39Speaker 1: appoint Jay Clayton to investigate Epstein's ties to Donald Trump's
- 3:43Speaker 1: political enemies. Jay Clayton. The same Jay Clayton who somehow
- 3:46Speaker 1: managed to slide from the SEC chairmanship right into the
- 3:50Speaker 1: golden hammock of Apollo Global Management? The private equity playground
- 3:54Speaker 1: run by none other than Leon Black, Epstein's longtime pal
- 3:57Speaker 1: and fiscal enabler? You really can't script satire this good.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's a hallucinogen-level plot twist where the arsonist is put
- 4:05Speaker 1: in charge of the fire brigade, and the official explanation
- 4:08Speaker 1: delivered with the seriousness of a kindergarten teacher announcing snack
- 4:12Speaker 1: time is that this was done in the name of integrity. Integrity?
- 4:16Speaker 1: From a man whose resume might as well be printed
- 4:19Speaker 1: on a stack of wire transfers linked to a billionaire
- 4:21Speaker 1: who treated Epstein like some kind of consultant on human
- 4:24Speaker 1: soul mortgaging? This is the kind of shit you can't
- 4:28Speaker 1: parody with a team of coke-addled comedy writers in a
- 4:31Speaker 1: bunker with 48 hours of no sleep. This is the
- 4:34Speaker 1: sort of casting choice that makes you look around the
- 4:36Speaker 1: room to check if other people are seeing the same
- 4:38Speaker 1: hallucination you are, or if someone micro-dosed you with acid
- 4:42Speaker 1: and turned on a Netflix satire marathon without warning. And
- 4:45Speaker 1: we're supposed to clap while they parade this nonsense down
- 4:48Speaker 1: Main Street? Like, look everybody, we're investigating Epstein now. No
- 4:52Speaker 1: conflict of interest here. Ignore the matching golf club memberships
- 4:55Speaker 1: and private jet flight logs. Those are just decorative. It's
- 4:59Speaker 1: the kind of theater that would make the producers of
- 5:02Speaker 1: Hamilton blush. Except that this is more like Hamilton directed
- 5:05Speaker 1: by David Lynch while on ketamine. They roll this out
- 5:09Speaker 1: with the confidence of a magician who assumes the audience
- 5:12Speaker 1: never learned object permanence. They want us to pretend that
- 5:16Speaker 1: appointing Clayton is a bold new step towards transparency, when
- 5:19Speaker 1: in reality it's like putting a raccoon in charge of
- 5:21Speaker 1: guarding a rotisserie chicken. The entire performance reeks of entitlement
- 5:26Speaker 1: and contempt. A Broadway musical starring the very people who
- 5:29Speaker 1: should be sitting in front of a grand jury instead
- 5:32Speaker 1: of under stage light. It's the political version of watching
- 5:35Speaker 1: the drunk uncle at Thanksgiving insist he's sober while knocking
- 5:38Speaker 1: over furniture and demanding applause. Now, if the press is
- 5:43Speaker 1: trying to sell you on Jay Clayton as the perfect
- 5:45Speaker 1: neutral choice, because apparently, when you need to investigate one
- 5:48Speaker 1: of the most powerful blackmail-based criminal intelligence operations in modern history,
- 5:53Speaker 1: what you really need is a guy who worked for
- 5:55Speaker 1: a firm drowning in Epstein's fingerprints. Apollo Global didn't just
- 5:59Speaker 1: brush up against Epstein. They were practically sharing chapstick. Leon
- 6:03Speaker 1: Black paid Epstein, what, $ 158 million for financial advice? The
- 6:08Speaker 1: kind of advice you can apparently can't find anywhere else
- 6:11Speaker 1: on the planet except from a dead pedophile with a
- 6:14Speaker 1: private island and a Rolodex full of billionaires. And yet
- 6:17Speaker 1: we're supposed to believe Jay Clayton had no knowledge, no insight,
- 6:20Speaker 1: no involvement, no awareness. He was just an innocent bystander
- 6:23Speaker 1: floating through the halls of Apollo with noise-canceling headphones on.
- 6:27Speaker 1: humming show tunes and ignoring all the photographs of Epstein
- 6:30Speaker 1: and Leon Black shaking hands like they just closed a
- 6:32Speaker 1: deal with the devil. Yo, the gall it takes to
- 6:35Speaker 1: pretend that this is normal should qualify as an Olympic sport,
- 6:39Speaker 1: because the level of mental gymnastics required to defend these
- 6:43Speaker 1: connections would snap the vertebrae of the average citizen before
- 6:46Speaker 1: they even made it to the vault runway. And yet
- 6:49Speaker 1: when Trump threw his tantrum the other night demanding an
- 6:52Speaker 1: investigation into Epstein's ties to Democrats, did he mention Leon Black? No.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Did he mention Les Wexner, the retail kingpin, who funded
- 6:59Speaker 1: Epstein's New York townhouse like it was a college dorm project? Nope,
- 7:03Speaker 1: not a whisper. You could hear the silence like a gunshot.
- 7:07Speaker 1: He stood there puffing up his chest, like a rooster
- 7:10Speaker 1: on a trailer park fence, yelling about how the American
- 7:12Speaker 1: people deserve answers, while carefully tiptoeing around the names that
- 7:16Speaker 1: would turn this whole performance into spontaneous combustion. It was
- 7:20Speaker 1: a master class in strategic omission, a disappearing act Houdini
- 7:23Speaker 1: would applaud, Because if he said those names out loud,
- 7:27Speaker 1: the entire facade would collapse like a sandcastle at high tide. Instead,
- 7:31Speaker 1: we get the very familiar sleight of hand, yell, look
- 7:34Speaker 1: over here, and hope the audience doesn't turn their heads
- 7:37Speaker 1: a fraction of an inch. Because saying those names would
- 7:40Speaker 1: be like lighting a match in a room filled with
- 7:42Speaker 1: gasoline and unfilled tax returns. It would detonate the whole
- 7:46Speaker 1: mythology of Trump the victim, Trump the crusader, Trump the
- 7:49Speaker 1: martyr of the deep state. Instead, we get the old
- 7:52Speaker 1: magic act. Point at the Clinton Foundation, snap fingers, yell hoax,
- 7:56Speaker 1: and hope nobody notices the piano suspended above his head.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It's theater-level distraction. Bright lights, loud noises, emotional manipulation, and
- 8:05Speaker 1: absolutely zero substance. The man acts like he's being hunted
- 8:09Speaker 1: by an invisible government conspiracy, when the truth is far simpler.
- 8:13Speaker 1: His walls are wallpapered in pictures with the very man
- 8:16Speaker 1: he claims to be exposing, and his Rolodex has the
- 8:18Speaker 1: same fingerprints. So the only strategy left is to scream
- 8:22Speaker 1: until your supporters get dizzy and forget the question that
- 8:25Speaker 1: started all of it. The question, by the way, is,
- 8:27Speaker 1: if you want the truth so badly, why are you
- 8:29Speaker 1: terrified of releasing the evidence? And that's the comedy here.
- 8:34Speaker 1: How absolutely panicked Trump is, the man sweating like he
- 8:37Speaker 1: just got asked to recite the alphabet backwards during a
- 8:39Speaker 1: field sobriety test. He knows the associations, the pictures, the
- 8:43Speaker 1: flight manifest, the money, the donors, the coincidences are circling
- 8:47Speaker 1: him like buzzards. And now that the emails are leaking
- 8:49Speaker 1: and the walls are closing, he's throwing everyone else under
- 8:52Speaker 1: the bus except the guy sitting next to him in
- 8:54Speaker 1: the front seat. He's pacing like a mobster waiting for
- 8:58Speaker 1: the DNA results to come back, desperate to flip the
- 9:01Speaker 1: script before the curtain closes. He's counting on the American
- 9:04Speaker 1: public being too exhausted to connect the dots, too defeated
- 9:07Speaker 1: to demand receipts, too numb by the circus to realize
- 9:10Speaker 1: they're being played. But panic has a smell, and right
- 9:13Speaker 1: now it reeks like cold sweat and courtroom carpet. Enter
- 9:17Speaker 1: Todd Baby Billy Blanche, the attorney whose enthusiasm for Glenn
- 9:21Speaker 1: Maxwell's legal defense makes it look like he's auditioning for
- 9:24Speaker 1: a role in Succession called Cousin Weasel. The same lawyer
- 9:28Speaker 1: who put on an emotional equivalent of lingerie for the
- 9:31Speaker 1: prosecution while pretending he wasn't covered in Epstein residue, and
- 9:35Speaker 1: now Jay Clayton gets promoted? To the SDNY's headlining act?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Let me check the label on this drink. Did somebody
- 9:43Speaker 1: slip ayahuasca into my drink? Because the level of reality
- 9:47Speaker 1: distortion required to accept this as legitimate government procedure is
- 9:50Speaker 1: so high, it should come with an overdose warning. It's
- 9:54Speaker 1: like watching someone try to clean up a crime scene
- 9:56Speaker 1: with a damp paper towel and positive affirmations instead everything
- 10:00Speaker 1: is fine while blood leaks through the floorboards. Because that's
- 10:04Speaker 1: the level of absurdity we're dealing with. This isn't even
- 10:07Speaker 1: politics anymore. It's a psychedelic carnival of grotesque hypocrisy. It's
- 10:12Speaker 1: the national version of waking up in a bathtub full
- 10:15Speaker 1: of ice, missing a kidney, while a clown on the
- 10:17Speaker 1: corner whispers that everything is fine. It's beyond parody. It's
- 10:22Speaker 1: beyond satire. It's a fever dream starring corrupt billionaires and
- 10:25Speaker 1: lawyers who smell like hedge funds and chlorine from private
- 10:29Speaker 1: resort pools. The American people are being force-fed the narrative
- 10:32Speaker 1: equivalent of spray paint fumes and asked to call it
- 10:35Speaker 1: fresh air. It's government as performance art, except the ending
- 10:40Speaker 1: is an applause, it's indictments and body bags full of credibility. Meanwhile,
- 10:45Speaker 1: the survivors, the actual victims, are begging to be heard
- 10:48Speaker 1: like ghosts pounding on the walls. and this government hands
- 10:51Speaker 1: the microphone to the very people who built the cage?
- 10:54Speaker 1: They're throwing camouflage nets over entire institutions and expecting us
- 10:58Speaker 1: to say thank you for the shade. These women have
- 11:01Speaker 1: fought through trauma, corruption, and humiliation for decades, only to
- 11:05Speaker 1: watch the government hand the investigation to the metaphorical business
- 11:08Speaker 1: partners of the man who trafficked them. It's a betrayal
- 11:11Speaker 1: so profound it borders on theological offense. As if justice
- 11:16Speaker 1: itself has been gagged and chained to a radiator somewhere
- 11:19Speaker 1: in the basement of the SDNY. But the panic tells
- 11:23Speaker 1: the story, doesn't it? If Trump really wanted the truth,
- 11:26Speaker 1: he'd demand everything. All of the logs, the depositions, the financials,
- 11:30Speaker 1: the sealed names, all of it. Not just the names
- 11:33Speaker 1: of the people he hates. The only time he wants
- 11:35Speaker 1: sunlight is when he thinks he can set someone else
- 11:38Speaker 1: on fire with it. He wants transparency like an arsonist
- 11:41Speaker 1: wants a flashlight. Only when it serves the escape plan.
- 11:45Speaker 1: And the crowd keeps on cheering, not realizing that they're
- 11:48Speaker 1: applauding their own mugging. Instead, he surrounds himself with the
- 11:52Speaker 1: same cast of characters who had Epstein on speed dial.
- 11:55Speaker 1: The same financiers, the same lawyers, the same power brokers.
- 11:58Speaker 1: He's not fighting a conspiracy. He's trying to outrun one
- 12:02Speaker 1: he was standing in the middle of. It's like watching
- 12:05Speaker 1: a man try to escape an escape room he personally
- 12:08Speaker 1: doused in gasoline, screaming that the real arsonists are standing
- 12:11Speaker 1: in the yard. The irony might actually be fatal. And
- 12:17Speaker 1: the worst part? They think we're stupid enough to swallow it.
- 12:20Speaker 1: They think we're too tired, too distracted, too cynical to care.
- 12:24Speaker 1: They think this ends with the press release and a shrug,
- 12:26Speaker 1: that the American people will lose focus the way a
- 12:29Speaker 1: toddler forgets why it walked into a room. They mistake
- 12:32Speaker 1: exhaustion for amnesia and despair for surrender. Well, it doesn't.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Because the more they scream hoax, the more obvious the
- 12:40Speaker 1: panic becomes. The louder they insist there's nothing to see,
- 12:44Speaker 1: the more visible the bloodstains are. And this isn't going away,
- 12:47Speaker 1: not this time. Not when the cracks are spreading through
- 12:50Speaker 1: every wall they built to hide behind. Not when every
- 12:53Speaker 1: attempt to silence the truth only turns up the volume
- 12:56Speaker 1: of the outrage. This is the smokescreen. This is the desperation.
- 13:00Speaker 1: This is the sound of guilty men realizing the clock
- 13:03Speaker 1: is out of time. When corruption is cornered, it doesn't surrender.
- 13:07Speaker 1: It sets the whole ass building on fire in hopes
- 13:10Speaker 1: everyone burns with it. And it is, without exaggeration, the
- 13:14Speaker 1: most un-American shit I've ever seen in my life. The
- 13:18Speaker 1: Founding Fathers are rolling so violently in their graves right now,
- 13:21Speaker 1: they could power the Eastern Seaboard if someone attached copper
- 13:24Speaker 1: wire to their skeletons. This is not democracy. This is
- 13:28Speaker 1: not accountability. This is not justice. This is cowardice, wearing makeup,
- 13:33Speaker 1: pretending to be courage. But the truth is, none of
- 13:36Speaker 1: this chaos is accidental. None of it's coincidence. It's a strategy,
- 13:41Speaker 1: an ugly, desperate strategy designed to drown the public in
- 13:44Speaker 1: confusion while the powerful sprints for the exits. They're not
- 13:48Speaker 1: trying to solve anything. They're trying to survive. They're not
- 13:51Speaker 1: seeking justice. They're building escape tunnels under our feet while
- 13:54Speaker 1: distracting us with fireworks overhead. Every appointment, every press stunt,
- 13:59Speaker 1: every carefully chosen investigator with fingerprints on the same money
- 14:02Speaker 1: pipeline is part of the same rotten architecture of protection.
- 14:07Speaker 1: They don't fear the outrage, folks. They fear clarity. They
- 14:10Speaker 1: fear the moment the American people stop staring at the
- 14:13Speaker 1: show and start reading the schematics. Because when that switch flips,
- 14:18Speaker 1: this whole illusion collapses. When the public stops playing their
- 14:21Speaker 1: role as audience and starts acting like owners of the
- 14:24Speaker 1: country they fund, the spell breaks. The trick fails. The
- 14:27Speaker 1: spotlight turns. Then, when the screaming starts, it won't be
- 14:32Speaker 1: coming from the crowd. They can shift blame. They can
- 14:35Speaker 1: rebrand villains into whistleblowers. They can stage investigations like theater.
- 14:39Speaker 1: but they can't outrun what's already in motion. They can delay,
- 14:42Speaker 1: they can distort, they can bury, but the truth is radioactive.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It eats through everything eventually, no matter how deep they
- 14:49Speaker 1: think they buried it. And once that tipping point hits,
- 14:53Speaker 1: it won't matter how many billion-dollar lawyers they call or
- 14:55Speaker 1: how loudly they yell hoax into a microphone, the truth
- 14:59Speaker 1: will hit like gravity, and it'll be permanent. So let
- 15:02Speaker 1: them scramble, let them posture, let them keep appointing foxes
- 15:05Speaker 1: to guard hen houses and pretending it's responsible governance. Let
- 15:09Speaker 1: them keep sweating through their suits and rehearsing denials in
- 15:12Speaker 1: the mirror. Let them keep pretending the storm isn't coming,
- 15:15Speaker 1: because that storm is already here. And at the end
- 15:18Speaker 1: of the day, it isn't about just Trump or Clinton
- 15:21Speaker 1: or Bondi or Clayton or any of the other interchangeable
- 15:24Speaker 1: suits slithering across the stage, pretending to serve the public
- 15:27Speaker 1: while protecting their own skins. This is about a government
- 15:30Speaker 1: that has completely forgotten who it works for and a
- 15:33Speaker 1: system that would rather cannibalize itself than allow the truth
- 15:37Speaker 1: to breathe. It's about the survivors who were treated like
- 15:40Speaker 1: collateral damage, the public that was treated like livestock, and
- 15:43Speaker 1: the justice that was treated like a punchline. The people
- 15:47Speaker 1: in power think they're playing chess, but the board is
- 15:49Speaker 1: cracking under their feet. And sooner or later, the pieces
- 15:52Speaker 1: are going to fall through. Every second they stall is
- 15:56Speaker 1: another second the country wakes up. And once that happens,
- 15:59Speaker 1: once the illusion burns off and the raw machinery underneath
- 16:02Speaker 1: is exposed, not a single one of them will be
- 16:04Speaker 1: able to outrun what they built. Judgment isn't coming from
- 16:08Speaker 1: the courts, it's coming from history. And history never forgets.
