- 1:08still on. Why don't we bring Kevin in?
- 1:10Why don't we have him join us? Yeah, why don't we have him come
- 1:14and join us for Tic Tac? No.
- 1:15Why don't we do that? Oh yeah, that'd be.
- 1:17Let's do that, Tic Tac. No, let's go.
- 1:20Kevin, this another drink I love.
- 1:23It. Give me the whiskeys we give me
- 1:25whiskeys is cheap because they're stolen.
- 1:28No. No, no, no.
- 1:34Now here's your host. The Tick is playing with himself
- 1:43right now, so he's not joining us tonight.
- 1:45So we have the one and only speedster himself as he always
- 1:49likes to whack off. Let's not.
- 1:51All right, here we go. Looks like.
- 1:54Kevin's trying to settle in just to show the Eagles logo.
- 1:57I see. I see how it is.
- 1:59Just Speedy, just so Kevin knows and people listening at home,
- 2:03we're playing tic tac toe, but we're doing it with trivia.
- 2:06Speedy has questions. If we can't get it right, we he
- 2:10gets to pick the the square or we do.
- 2:12If we get it right, and that's every all of us verse Speedy.
- 2:16That's how it is. He's the guru.
- 2:18No cheating. All right, so we'll start this
- 2:23week with the NBA Finals. So we talk about all the time
- 2:26how good the OKC Thunder are setting home records. 2 teams in
- 2:30NBA history. No team has ever gone undefeated
- 2:32at home, but two teams have gone 40 and one in a season at home.
- 2:37Name them both. Chicago Bulls?
- 2:39Nope. Wait, can you say it again?
- 2:41I'm sorry, sweetie. Two teams State Warriors.
- 2:44Two teams have won forty home games in a season.
- 2:47So they were 40 and one. Name them both.
- 2:50It is not the Warriors either. Is one of them the Thunder?
- 2:53Nope. Damn.
- 2:54All right, we can only get one guess on this each, or else it'd
- 2:57be too easy. So let's.
- 2:58Let Aaron in, bring him in. He can come in.
- 3:03Was one was one the the Spurs when they were having that run?
- 3:09Spurs is correct, they did it in 2015.
- 3:11Jabba. Nice job, Jabba.
- 3:14He's cheating. I think he is too.
- 3:17I think he is too. So so Jake has a guest left,
- 3:21Nathan has a guest, Goody and and I do both errands.
- 3:25I'm not. Yanking on a dead man's Dick.
- 3:27All right, so 40 and one at home, Yes, so.
- 3:35I'm Nope. Feels like this could be a
- 3:40Boston Celtics. It is.
- 3:42They did it. Oh, let's go fish and Jabba. 85
- 3:46team that Errol brought up last week.
- 3:48The best team of all time, some people say.
- 3:51So Carl, said Sonic. So Carl was talking about the
- 3:55fast food joint. All right, so Jabba, me and you
- 4:00share this one. So we got to come up with where
- 4:02we want to go together on this. So where do you want him to go,
- 4:06Jabba? I'm saying middle.
- 4:08What do you think? I'm I'm down.
- 4:09I'm down with middle. He.
- 4:11Can. Clean the middle.
- 4:12Secured Speedy. You're going to have to come
- 4:15with something better than that all.
- 4:16Right, let's go. The gross sexual action of cream
- 4:19on somebody. With Kevin I will shift to some
- 4:20hockey. So which Hall of Fame defenceman
- 4:23was the first player ever score on a penalty shot in the Stanley
- 4:26Cup? He did it for the Oilers in
- 4:282006. I'm knocking the Oilers in 2006.
- 4:34Yep. I'm out on this one dude.
- 4:41Don't even know where the Oilers are from.
- 4:42Gretzky. 'S an offensive play.
- 4:44See, I don't hear from Canadia. That goes to show you my hockey
- 4:47knowledge. He also wasn't.
- 4:51Playing I'm going to say a name. I feel like he's a how old 2.
- 4:561006. Hails Hensley.
- 4:59No. Damn it, that was a good guess.
- 5:05Shut up, goody. I got nothing.
- 5:08I'm just going to say a name. Ryan.
- 5:11Ryan Nugent, Hopkins. He's an offensive player, not a
- 5:14defenseman. He's an off.
- 5:16Phil Housley? Nope.
- 5:18Hey Speedy with the name of player or?
- 5:20Team, you said? Defenseman.
- 5:21Yeah. Defenseman.
- 5:22Yes. How about Keith Pay?
- 5:24No, Keith. Bay.
- 5:28Yeah. One more Jack BT is not coming
- 5:30in clutch, huh, Goody? Beatty What side Carl it?
- 5:34Was the 2006 Oilers I'm not getting?
- 5:36The Jabba. Oh, give me Jabba.
- 5:43Like I always gave up the. Booty.
- 5:44So it's Jabba who has a guest left.
- 5:46And I know Jake, you're not the biggest hockey guys.
- 5:49I don't know if you want to try but.
- 5:52I think you're the last one he's got to get guesses in.
- 5:54I don't know this one. Ty Domi.
- 5:56I ain't got no. Stones Ty Domi was a forward.
- 5:59That probably scored one goal all.
- 6:01Right. Was it like like Huey croup?
- 6:05No. Huey Croup never played for.
- 6:07Edmonton. I think I does everybody like
- 6:10Huey respectively give. Up Colorado.
- 6:12He played for Colorado. He hit the game-winning in three
- 6:15overtimes. That won him the Stanley I.
- 6:16Remember the name? I think full name.
- 6:19Now who isn't speeding? It's Chris Pronger.
- 6:21Oh my. God, Oh, I know who that.
- 6:24Is because he's not known for Edmonton.
- 6:26He was in Saint Louis Blues, that's why it was.
- 6:28I know him, I was in Philly too and they signed him to and then
- 6:32Oh my gosh I forgot he ended up. There, yes, I did.
- 6:34All right, Speedy, where are we going?
- 6:36Top right. Top right for the speedster.
- 6:41All right, here we go. Next question.
- 6:44All right, so Derrick Henry has the you're talking about the
- 6:47story before fish. So Derrick Henry has the most
- 6:49rushing yards for a 30 year old running back last season who is
- 6:53second all time on the list. What was the question one more
- 6:59time so. Single season Derrick Henry
- 7:01broke the record for most rushing yards by a running back
- 7:0430 years older or more Who? Whose record did he break?
- 7:10I'm going to take you guess, Yep, but Danny and Tomlinson?
- 7:13Nope. Adrian Peterson.
- 7:15Nope. Frank Gore.
- 7:20Nope. That was going to be my guess.
- 7:21I was just going to say Frank Gore.
- 7:22Wait, I don't know. No.
- 7:25Cheating anybody? Leshawn McCoy.
- 7:32Nope. Damn, his career was over at 29.
- 7:37He did not do it when he was 30. Dickerson is second old time,
- 7:41but he did not do when he was 30.
- 7:42I believe he was 24. That's a great question.
- 7:46Corey Dillon. No, it is not Corey Dillon.
- 7:50Corey. Dillon, it was good after he
- 7:52was. Both.
- 7:54Both are. 2728 is when he was a patriot.
- 7:56That was when he was both. Our guesses in the comments are
- 7:59wrong too. Curtis Martin did do it.
- 8:01He was. He was third, though he did it.
- 8:04He's slightly behind this answer.
- 8:05And no, it's not Chris Johnson. He was not.
- 8:07Who was it? Curtis Martin.
- 8:08Curtis Martin was second among 30 year old running.
- 8:11Backs I would I not know thank. You.
- 8:12I should have. I should have seen.
- 8:14It he wasn't far behind, I should have said he's not the
- 8:17answer. Who is it?
- 8:18No. Roger Craig.
- 8:20No. Who is it?
- 8:21Sweetie, no one else has any guesses.
- 8:22Nobody. Knows.
- 8:23Hold on, hold on. Marshall Faulk.
- 8:25No. No.
- 8:27I think, yeah, Nathan, I don't think that's guessed yet.
- 8:29No, no, hold on. Don't look, Nathan.
- 8:31Cheat. Though I'm not looking, I'm not
- 8:33looking. Get that gum out of your mouth,
- 8:34man, Stop. Chewing.
- 8:35I'm going. To say it's my picker.
- 8:38Hard. It's not Emmett Smith.
- 8:40OK, And the answer is Tiki Barber.
- 8:42He did. It in Tiki Barber. 2518 Sixty
- 8:47rushing. Yard.
- 8:48Yeah, he was a decent football player.
- 8:50Terrible analyst. Tiki Barber lapped that ass.
- 8:53Lord fumbles. Lord fumbles himself.
- 8:56Yes, Lord Fumbles. It, Where are we going, Speedy?
- 9:00OK, taking the poles. All right, Speedy next question.
- 9:05All right, so we'll go with some baseball for this one.
- 9:07Who which the Red Red Sox Yankee rivalry.
- 9:10Which infielder hit the go ahead home run in 1978 to knock the
- 9:14Red Sox out of a one game playoff?
- 9:17Bucky den. Bucky den got it.
- 9:18I said it. 1st We don't have a picture of you, Kevin.
- 9:26Bucky dead. Put a picture of Brian Dabel
- 9:28there. I think my mic's delayed.
- 9:35All right, here we go, somebody. Needs to create my avatar.
- 9:38I actually did meet Brian Dabel this weekend, so I.
- 9:41Yeah, I saw that picture. Legendary, legendary, legendary.
- 9:45Let's go. Oh, there you go.
- 9:47Watching trim fish. There he is.
- 9:49That's. Right, I don't look like Bill
- 9:51Barr, is what people tell me. Tomario Bill Barr.
- 9:54Oh, Tomario, you'd. Rather look like Dabel.
- 10:00There we go. Is it like your Bush?
- 10:01He doesn't. Have a He doesn't have a neck.
- 10:04What do? You think he does not really
- 10:05have a neck? You got to put your tongue on
- 10:08something and. Where do you want to put it?
- 10:11Mensch? You could put.
- 10:12You could choose. How about?
- 10:13Rattling I. Don't care, somebody.
- 10:15I think we got to block them, no?
- 10:17Yeah. That'll make sense.
- 10:18All right, there we go. But.
- 10:19Your mom is that for a? Little while Let's make this
- 10:21just a little bit bigger the. Harder is the best.
- 10:24That's what she said. You mentioned I did.
- 10:26I did want to ask you this before we get like you're
- 10:30infamous, obviously, if you're what was your true head size?
- 10:33It was an 8. They went no bigger than an 8.
- 10:36There was a kid named Matt Pitch for the Tigers.
- 10:38I put his hat on and I was swimming and I could like get
- 10:41both hands in there. I wear A7.
- 10:48That's like a Yammer 7, seven and three eighths. 7 3/8 is is
- 10:52the normal head size. That's mine. 7 and 3/8.
- 10:56You're not normal. They're also just stop.
- 10:58It is that is, we're having a dream.
- 11:01We've lost you. I am not.
- 11:02I know that. I know that all.
- 11:06Right, so we'll go back to the NBA.
- 11:07I got to go back off now in. NBA history have won the NBA
- 11:11championship as a four seed or lower name that.
- 11:14Say that again. Two NBA.
- 11:16Teams ever have won the NBA championship as a four seed or
- 11:20lower. What's your?
- 11:21Lower is. This what the Pacers are trying.
- 11:23To do Orlando Magic. No, it was not the Orlando
- 11:26Magic. They've not won an NBA
- 11:27championship. New Jersey Nets.
- 11:30They have also not won an NBA championship.
- 11:32The Spurs. Cleveland.
- 11:33Cavaliers. No.
- 11:34The Spurs? Nope.
- 11:36No. Mavericks not.
- 11:39The Mavericks, They were a three.
- 11:43I'm trying. I'm trying to think here.
- 11:46Wait, Speedy, did you say it was the three seater low or the four
- 11:49seater low? The Mavericks were a three.
- 11:53OK. Because every other team that's
- 11:54won has been either a 1-2 or three seed.
- 11:57There were a couple of three seats recently.
- 11:58The Bucks were 3 when they won the Warriors.
- 12:00I know what it is actually I got it.
- 12:02Damn The Mavericks were 3 when they won.
- 12:04Can't. Guess anymore.
- 12:09Hey someone. OK, I I'm blanking completely.
- 12:13On the chat, there's a Carl says Rockets, Bills.
- 12:17Nathan, that's not how this game is played.
- 12:19They're Googling it. Be quiet and stop cheating your
- 12:23bands. I use Keith Pay and he was
- 12:26wrong. Stop being mean over there fish.
- 12:28Be nice, be nice. No Speedy.
- 12:31Speedy needs a fair chance, That's all right.
- 12:33That's an attack on speedy PD. Keith Pay.
- 12:36You guys were like, who's Keith Pay?
- 12:38I don't know. Carl picked him out of the hat.
- 12:41I got to pick a team. I'll go back like 50 years I'm
- 12:45thinking. Yeah, I think it's.
- 12:46Older well I don't know how one that the 8 like the seeds were
- 12:50that when like they seeded it that far back.
- 12:53So it would have to be like 80 like mid 80s forwards?
- 12:57I think so. I'm just, I'm just going to RIP
- 13:00a guess, sweetie. Was was the bullets one of them?
- 13:03Nope. Damn.
- 13:06All right. Wow.
- 13:06I. Know what it is, I just guessed
- 13:08wrong. I'm going to guess.
- 13:10Maybe Pistons, No. Philadelphia Who is it?
- 13:16Well, I'm going to look, I'm going to look at like, think of
- 13:19everybody said, like the teams that have been around for
- 13:22Lakers, maybe. No.
- 13:24Well, the comments section was right.
- 13:26It was the Rockets in 1995 as a 60.
- 13:28They were the lowest one. Jamie Lee was a Rockets fan,
- 13:30didn't know that very well. And the other one was the
- 13:32Celtics in 1969. So Java was right, it didn't go
- 13:35back a long way. Oh damn, I would have.
- 13:38I should have stayed with my Celtics pick from earlier.
- 13:41So, Speedy, I'm assuming you want to block us here on this
- 13:45one. Oh, yeah.
- 13:45All right, let's continue. All right, let's keep up.
- 13:48Let's pick up the pace a little bit.
- 13:49All right, let's go back to hockey.
- 13:50Which team was the first expansion team in the modern era
- 13:54to make their Stanley Cup in their first year when they did
- 13:57it? In Las Vegas.
- 13:58Vegas. In 1967.
- 13:59Never mind. And.
- 14:02Then I got to wait. And then they ended up making
- 14:04three in a row. Montreal, Montreal.
- 14:10No, whoever said Saint Louis Blues, that's correct.
- 14:12It's the Saint Louis Blues. Oh, wow.
- 14:14Kevin. Mitch Baby.
- 14:16Kevin. Kevin.
- 14:16Kevin. Kevin Mitch, give him the head,
- 14:19baby. So give him the head.
- 14:21There's a little bit, there's a little bit of an asterisk.
- 14:23So the way the. Rule wanted to jerk me off time.
- 14:24There was actually guaranteed to be an expansion team after that,
- 14:27so whoever came out of what, I think there were six teams that
- 14:29came in the league, one of them was guaranteed it to the Stanley
- 14:32Cup. But then they proved that they
- 14:34belonged because they made it two years in a row after that.
- 14:36Glory hole. All right, man, where, where are
- 14:41we going? I.
- 14:43Don't care. All right, winner, winner.
- 14:47Chicken dinner, corn dinner. Let's go here.
- 14:51We. Go.
- 14:53Oh, there you go, fish. Where's panties?
- 14:57I wish. All right, so back to some
- 15:00baseball here. So the Mets currently have a
- 15:03team ERA with 2.81, which if the season ended today would be
- 15:06ninth all time which team? Which MLB team has four of the
- 15:11top 16 single season? ER, as ever for a team including
- 15:16the best ever since 1945. I'm going to guess the
- 15:22Cardinals. It is not.
- 15:23The Braves. Nope.
- 15:26The Yankees. It's not.
- 15:29Is the San Francisco Giants. Nope.
- 15:36Were they an expansion team? Of anything say that question
- 15:38again I'm. So this team has four of the top
- 15:4216 single season team ER as ever, including the best ever.
- 15:49Since 1945. Yep.
- 15:51Yeah. Jabba liked my shrimp cocktails.
- 15:54World War 2. ERA The Mets.
- 15:56It was not the Mets. Cleveland.
- 16:00No. Can I touch it?
- 16:04I could have sworn it was going to be a Bob Getzman Gibson
- 16:07thing. A friend.
- 16:08I think they were one of them, that Cardinals team, but I don't
- 16:10think they had that many. Oh, can iPhone?
- 16:13A friend I think I know. My pinky is bigger than yours.
- 16:19We got any get guesses we got to.
- 16:21Be on the Dodgers. I want you for breakfast, lunch
- 16:22and dinner. Dodgers is incorrect.
- 16:24They had a few 90 Reds, no? No.
- 16:27Does anyone have a guest left the?
- 16:29Cubs. I'm done.
- 16:31So close Java. Is it going to be the it's?
- 16:36The other side of the town, isn't it?
- 16:38I'm going. Yeah, Speedy.
- 16:42Damn. All right, so Speedy wins that
- 16:44one we got him to. Speedy's going to have to block
- 16:48us now. Yep, whatever that sound is is
- 16:51like revolting. I have no idea.
- 16:52It sounds like some aliens gonna attack us.
- 16:54Sounds like an alien. Sounds like a vuvuzela.
- 16:58All right, Speedy, here's the block.
- 16:59Now, is that a Jewish thing? We can't.
- 17:02No, it's a Brazilian. Sound.
- 17:04Like a swarm of bees that year. The worst thing I've ever heard
- 17:07in my entire life. Can I slap your ass?
- 17:10Can I even win? We can't win anymore, but we can
- 17:13only stop Speedy. We've been blocked by the speed.
- 17:16Start with his ingenuity. All right?
- 17:19Well, round it out. You can still stop.
- 17:20Him round it out with some football.
- 17:22Who was the first wild card team to win a Super Bowl, doing so in
- 17:251980? Oh, I know this the.
- 17:29Broncos and Kevin gets his third question.
- 17:32Kevin's kicking ass tonight baby.
- 17:35Raiders. Who?
- 17:35Kevin's kick ass to the. Super Bowl, Yeah.
- 17:39Let's. Go.
- 17:40All right, so now we block Speedy and nobody can win.
- 17:45So I guess we go to a tiebreaker.
- 17:48Last question, Speedy. All right, the last one is an
- 17:51NBA one. It is.
- 17:53So we talk about how young the OKC Thunder are.
- 17:56The youngest team to win an NBA championship at an average age
- 17:59of 24.7, doing it in 1977. Who was that?
- 18:05Is that the Portland Trail Blazers?
- 18:07Yes it is. Yes, it is.
- 18:08From the Celtic City Celtic City Bill Walton.
- 18:13I remember, I remember that was on Celtic City when I watched
- 18:17that that. Was no, I didn't even watch that
- 18:18documentary. It was super the year after.
- 18:21I think it was the Seattle that won the.
- 18:24Champion, that was. That was one of my questions.
- 18:25A. Couple weeks ago, something with
- 18:27the IT was the. Bullets and then the
- 18:29SuperSonics. Yeah, nobody.
- 18:31Those three years, nobody gave a crap.
- 18:32Who won? Actually, nobody.
- 18:34It wasn't even on live television.
- 18:35Nobody gave a crap. So that's a true story.
- 18:38That's true. Kevin, thank you for joining us.
- 18:40What a debut for Save your team Three Tic Tac Tic Tac No 3
- 18:46questions you got right. I'm full of useless knowledge,
- 18:48so whatever you need. Very impressive.
- 18:51Are you useful enough to, you know, give them a little bag of
- 18:55balls, if you know what I mean, for goodies?
- 18:57Bag of balls? I don't know why don't we do
- 18:59that? We call this segment goodies.
- 19:01Bag of balls. My mom was going to wire a car
- 19:03battery with my testicles. Trying to put Tiger.
- 19:05Bomb on this jungle's nuts. Goodies Bag of balls.
- 19:09That's how you become great man. Hang your balls out there.
- 19:13All right guys, this is goody Jabba.
- 19:17We'll add Kevin to the the spiel here, me and speedy, cuz you
- 19:21know, these these guys are baseball players and I'm sure
- 19:23I'm pretty sure goodies got baseball stuff so.
- 19:26Well, I'm leading off of the College World Series.
- 19:28All is right in the world with LSU heading back to the College
- 19:32World Series for the 20th time. OK.
- 19:35Did any of you guys catch that last night?
- 19:38Who cares? Well, they joined Arkansas,
- 19:42UCLA, Louisville, Arizona, Coastal Carolina, Oregon State,
- 19:48and I think Murray State snuck in today.
- 19:52Did you see the ending? No, dude, I was in my college
- 19:56game. But I did fall asleep last
- 19:57night. Woke up to watch changing short
- 19:59blow 100 by everybody to send the LSU Tigers back to the
- 20:03College World Series. I want to get your takes on it.
- 20:06What do you got? Tell me what you got for Murray
- 20:08State. I did not watch that it.
- 20:10Was an. It was an interference call at
- 20:122nd. There was one out in the ninth.
- 20:16And Duke was up. No, they were up one.
- 20:19They were up five to four and so they called interference at
- 20:23second. So the runner on 1st is out.
- 20:25I didn't think it was mentally. I don't know, thought I didn't
- 20:28see it yet. I'll be sitting here, I'm trying
- 20:30to look it up. Yeah, it was.
- 20:34I would. I wouldn't have wanted to end
- 20:35the game like that. Me though.
- 20:39That's pretty true. Sorry, I didn't.
- 20:40Take it. Sorry Cody, I didn't watch the
- 20:42game. I figured you hadn't watched the
- 20:46game. I couldn't watch the game.
- 20:48I was at my own game watching, actually.
- 20:51Pulmonary was there tonight, so I got a chance to talk with him,
- 20:53which was great. And we talked little LSU.
- 20:55Did you do a? Did you do?
- 20:56A vintage go. Tiger, my rear end is burning.
- 21:00Well, he's a coach at South Carolina now, but we did talk
- 21:03about some old glory days back at LSU and.
- 21:07Did you ever make it? No, I didn't.
- 21:10I lost to Stony Brook. Yes, give it was.
- 21:14That 2012. Ticket 2012 Yes.
- 21:18Long Island's natives, baby Long Island's natives.
- 21:22Yeah, it was tough. It was tough here.
- 21:25But anyways, you have Java season tickets for the College
- 21:28World Theories. I'm sure you're excited for it
- 21:33now. I'm.
- 21:34A media member. Well, exactly.
- 21:36Well, you How does LSU travel? Oh dude it is I've I literally
- 21:41tell. Everybody to Arrow so that he
- 21:43has an understanding of what what it's like, because I don't.
- 21:45Do it in the pink one in the pink.
- 21:47Town, Long Island. He doesn't understand what it's
- 21:51like. They it's, it's beyond
- 21:54impressive. Like they I think they did
- 21:5768,000 jello shots last year during the the two week set a
- 22:02record. This had the record.
- 22:04I know what the year they won. Yeah, LSU broke that one.
- 22:10But I've obviously grown up in Nebraska, so I've seen it at
- 22:14Rosenblatt, I've seen it at Schwab.
- 22:16It didn't. It doesn't matter if LSU is in
- 22:19it or not. Some of the nicest people, the
- 22:23most welcoming, like they they make food, they welcome you in
- 22:26and they travel deep whether they're in it or not.
- 22:30But when they are in it, they they're going to take up a whole
- 22:34block because they travel deep. And they're probably half the
- 22:38reason that the the price hike of these damn hotel rooms are so
- 22:42crazy. So we get, we're lucky from the
- 22:45media side that we get a hotel just for the media people.
- 22:49But they are fun group to be around, that's for sure.
- 22:53I can only imagine playing there.
- 22:54But when we went there, they were the only team to beat us in
- 22:57attendance and they didn't even make it to the World Series that
- 23:00year. Goody, I will.
- 23:01I will say this with the venue now shifting to the College
- 23:04World Series in in Omaha, I'm curious to see, we talked about
- 23:07the parody a few weeks ago and like you said, Murray State and
- 23:09a lot of these other smaller schools doing very well.
- 23:11I'm curious how that element of kind of making it more of a
- 23:14neutral site rather than the regional areas with the stronger
- 23:17home fields could make a difference for these underdog
- 23:19stories to happen. Like we saw a Coastal Carolina
- 23:22and I think it was a Cal State Fullerton, I believe, 11 years
- 23:25ago, which could create an interesting dynamic for somebody
- 23:28like Murray State, especially if they gain that kind of
- 23:30confidence. Yeah, but Cal State Fullerton
- 23:33really isn't a Cinderella story as much as Murray State.
- 23:36Is OK or a stone even? Talking about probably talk
- 23:40about Coastal Carolina. Yeah.
- 23:44Yeah. Jabba likes my shrimp cocktail.
- 23:51Say again that. Music.
- 23:52What the Hell's that music? Is that Errol?
- 23:55The Hell's over there getting Diggy with it?
- 23:59It was a Carolina was a sort of a they were actually really good
- 24:02that year. They went in the pitching coach
- 24:04who was at Coastal. Now Drew Thomas is at UCS.
- 24:06So I've had a lot of time. I spent a lot of time picking
- 24:09his brain on a lot of different things and he's fantastic.
- 24:13A lot of guys respond well to him.
- 24:14But I mean, he was just like, you know, it was just one of
- 24:18those years where the stars aligned.
- 24:20And and yeah, that seems like every year in in the College
- 24:25World Series, you have a Cinderella team.
- 24:28And this year happens to be Murray State.
- 24:30But. I don't know, I'm excited to
- 24:32watch it. We have Arkansas, I think we're
- 24:34playing at six or something and we have yeah, Saturday we have
- 24:38we have we're lined up to face Arkansas.
- 24:40So we're as as a, you know, Tiger, we got our lineup is
- 24:45stacked, very stout and our pitching, but you're talking
- 24:48about watching college baseball. I mean, if you want to watch an
- 24:50elite pitching staff, watch LSU. I to shores we have I think we
- 24:56have the number one pick. I got shit, I just wiped my eye.
- 24:59I think we have the number one pick overall this year on the
- 25:03team. So we'll see what happens, but
- 25:06should be a good College World Series.
- 25:07I'm really looking forward to it.
- 25:09Super Pump. I just don't like the fact that
- 25:12like these teams in SEC right, you've got two teams SEC teams
- 25:16playing in that super regional. They should not be lined up to
- 25:19play against each other in a super regional.
- 25:21They should be playing in the in the world if they're going to
- 25:24get there right, figure it out. It was like a couple years ago,
- 25:27Duke, North Carolina, right. They were they've never played
- 25:30each other in the NCAA tournament and they play the
- 25:32only time they should have played would have been in a
- 25:34national championship. Yet they play in the semi final
- 25:37game, which was coach K's last game.
- 25:38My Tar Heels prevail, but they should have said of.
- 25:41Course you had to say that. There you go.
- 25:43You're a Tar Heel fan. I I used to like you.
- 25:46Now I really don't like you. You're a Tar Heel fan.
- 25:49How are you a Tar Heel fan? Big Brother was there when
- 25:53Jordan was there, 81. 80 Oh, is that what it was?
- 25:56How about James Worthy? He was a pretty good player over
- 25:58there too, so. Yeah, Perkins and all those
- 26:01guys. Yes, yes, yes.
- 26:02My brother played with wife and Sirhoff at North.
- 26:04Carolina. Really.
- 26:06Yeah. Interesting.
- 26:08Big Brother was the the star athlete, the family that was
- 26:13just the evil stepchild. But doing that they should have
- 26:15been shouldn't set up the 8. The SEC shouldn't play each
- 26:17other in the first round of the tournament.
- 26:18Figured out re reseed them or something.
- 26:21Don't let them play each other. I agree.
- 26:25I would agree with that because you want to see, you want to
- 26:27see. Well, because each other all the
- 26:29time. They play each other in the AC
- 26:30in the SEC tournament. They played during the regular
- 26:32season. If you saw what happened in in
- 26:34Tennessee with Arkansas, right? All that stuff.
- 26:37I mean, that stuff is, I mean, that can lead to a lot of lot of
- 26:41injuries and everything else, right?
- 26:42I mean, a lot of emotions. I get that.
- 26:44But you if you're going to do that and have that kind of clown
- 26:46show, do it on the biggest stage, not in the Super
- 26:48regional. And those and those are the two
- 26:51favorites going into the tournament.
- 26:55LSU, Arkansas. Yeah, goes Arkansas, LSU.
- 26:58You just won me back, Kevin. Yeah, he's easy lay.
- 27:02All right. Thank.
- 27:06You thank you all. Right, we'll go next.
- 27:08We're getting we're getting put pressured here from fish, but
- 27:10the number one prospect in baseball just got called up.
- 27:12We mentioned this earlier. Roman Anthony hit a towering was
- 27:16it's towering like 500 foot home run, 497 foot Grand Slam for
- 27:23Worcester and then I believe the next day he gets called up to
- 27:26the show. What kind of impact does that
- 27:28make on him? He's had a rapid rise through
- 27:30the minor league system. Shut up low way high a AA AAA is
- 27:35a 20 year old. He led the leester Negan
- 27:37slugging OPS and then finally got called up to AAA, didn't
- 27:41spend much time there. And now he's making an impact or
- 27:44will be making an impact for the Boston Red Sox.
- 27:47Are there any young players that you play with Menci Jabba that
- 27:49were like 2021 that came in and made an immediate impact?
- 27:53And I know you mentioned earlier the veterans.
- 27:55I mean, I had veterans that were on my ass too.
- 27:57But you know any, were you a veteran player?
- 28:00Were you a younger player? I know Jabba was young when he
- 28:02got called up, but who took you under your wing and and kind of
- 28:04led you through? What do you think?
- 28:07What do you think of Roman Anthony?
- 28:08I don't know if you know much about him, but to me he might be
- 28:11the truth. I don't, I've not seen much of
- 28:14them. You know, you know how it is in
- 28:15the league, right? Guys get it's, it's not the
- 28:18first time through, It's the second time through because it's
- 28:21what's between your ears. Being able to make the
- 28:23adjustment, knowing that because we've had guys, we get a guy.
- 28:27I was in Washington my last year, 2010 Danny Espinoza came
- 28:30through was Matt. He could even Matt let switch
- 28:33hitter. He was hitting home runs left,
- 28:34left hand, right hand and doing all that stuff.
- 28:36And you know, everybody's like this guy's going to be great.
- 28:38I'm like, just just give it let let the league see him once,
- 28:42right, because they haven't seen him now.
- 28:44Let him make the adjustment and see.
- 28:45And that mean. And that's that's the biggest
- 28:47thing is being able to make that adjustment and that people
- 28:50always ask what's the what separates Major League players
- 28:53from everybody else? It's not talent, it's what's
- 28:55between your ears. You've got to be especially now
- 28:58with social media and everything right there, everything's like
- 29:00that. It's in a dugout and they know
- 29:01next time, OK, this is what it's going to do.
- 29:03And seeing how guys handle themselves once they right, once
- 29:06they struggle, how are they going to handle themselves once
- 29:08they struggle, right? If that kid hasn't struggled
- 29:10yet, you're going to get to the big leagues.
- 29:12And if he does, you know, you know, if he does struggle, is he
- 29:15able to minimize it, move on and adjust and, and, and continue to
- 29:20to thrive, right? Because you've seen guys, right,
- 29:22that go out, have a bad at bat. Next, you know, they're in the
- 29:25field, they cost you a run or something.
- 29:26You're like, dude, get your head out of your ass, right, Because
- 29:30and then and they're not dealing with they didn't deal with who
- 29:32knows now, I mean, like they might just paddle back.
- 29:34But hey, buddy, it's OK. You're going to be right.
- 29:36As opposed to that. That's not going to fly.
- 29:39That's that's what I'm running into and it's collegiately a lot
- 29:43of the guys, but they do a good job.
- 29:44A lot of the guys do a good job. But Jesse Lynch is one of our is
- 29:48our manager who's former major leaguer.
- 29:50Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:52So we we tell them straight, I mean, do we talk the most amount
- 29:55of shit of any coaching staff I've ever seen in my entire life
- 29:58straight to their faces and they respond well, the guys have been
- 30:00playing well. So it's like, I think it works,
- 30:03you know what I'm saying? But the whole adage was like,
- 30:06it's hard to get to the major leagues, but it's even harder to
- 30:08stay. So we'll see what happens with
- 30:09them. The tools are there.
- 30:11I mean, he has good the plate disciplines there.
- 30:15He clipped, I think in his first at bat, a line drive that I'm
- 30:20reading that was 111 off the bat reflected off the pitcher.
- 30:24So, I mean, you know, like you said, first time through, we'll
- 30:27see as he gets older or as he stays up a little longer, if he
- 30:31starts failing, we'll see how he can respond to a little bit of
- 30:34adversity. But I think for right now, it
- 30:35gives it gives the team a little bit of a boost.
- 30:38Maybe see what you got, like inject a little bit of youth
- 30:42into the lineup and and see what they got.
- 30:44Plus as far As for fans and media excitement, we're talking
- 30:48about Instagram and social media followers and all that.
- 30:51People who've been following him throughout his career now have a
- 30:53chance to actually watch him play in Boston.
- 30:57So you know. Yeah.
- 31:00He's worth, it's worth a call up, right?
- 31:02Like. See what he's got?
- 31:04Yeah, exactly. But I mean, you know job, you
- 31:06know how it was and that's that rivalry, right?
- 31:08Going into Fenway, right? Or going into the Yankee Stadium
- 31:11as a Red Sox boy, man, it is, it can be, it can be, it can really
- 31:17get to you emotionally and everything else.
- 31:19Hell, I remember we weren't even just walking out.
- 31:21It was, it was, I think the Yankees had got beat.
- 31:24They, they beat you guys like 26 to one or something.
- 31:28They were selling T-shirts on the side of the street.
- 31:30I mean, it doesn't matter. That's the, but I mean, that's
- 31:32the stuff you got to deal with. It's not so much the game part.
- 31:34It's it's the atmosphere and what's around you.
- 31:37I mean, they're right on top of you.
- 31:39I could, I mean, I could care less.
- 31:40I grew, you know, I, it just depends on your mentality
- 31:43growing up, you know, growing up outside of Philly and dealing
- 31:46with Philly fans and you know, New York fans and DC fans.
- 31:49It didn't buy, you know, it didn't bother with that stuff.
- 31:52It can be. It can wear on you quickly.
- 31:57I think that's the biggest adjustment, especially when you
- 32:00go into a big market for a younger kid with hype, and
- 32:04especially because he's he's had the hype and young kid.
- 32:08And then with, with what comes success comes failure in this
- 32:11game. And Menci is 100% right.
- 32:14It's, it's how he handles instead of having, you know,
- 32:16five guys at your locker after a game, now you've got all the
- 32:20beat writers and three guys and you have to, you know, be
- 32:26accountable and, and understand that that's we don't, we don't
- 32:30really have a resume, but that that's part of the job.
- 32:33And, and how he handles, you know, not only the success, but
- 32:36with, with the failures too comes a lot of other stuff.
- 32:40And you know, it is you have the talent to obviously get there,
- 32:45but what separates it is if you're able to handle all of the
- 32:48other stuff with it and be able to decompartmentalize all of it
- 32:52and continue to be successful and get better and learn and not
- 32:56just stick to what you've got and try to get better every game
- 33:01because they're making in bad adjustments.
- 33:05And now when you get there as a young kid, sometimes you always
- 33:08didn't have to do that because your talent took you to get to
- 33:10that point. And now they're, it's a, it's a
- 33:12little different when you get there as a pitcher is a little
- 33:15different for me because nobody knew me.
- 33:19I mean, MO thought I was from Alaska, a Rod thought I was from
- 33:23Africa. And so I'm like, well, this is
- 33:26off to a good start. Breaking news, I'm putting you
- 33:29on a leash now. Oh Lord, Well, that that's as
- 33:33far as pitchers go and he's not a pitcher, but I preach like one
- 33:37pitch adjustments. You know what I'm saying?
- 33:39One pitch adjustment. The same with hitters.
- 33:41You got to make an adjustment on the fly.
- 33:43And hopefully the league will always adjust to him.
- 33:46And now it's going to be on him to adjust to the league.
- 33:48And I mean, everything that I've read and some of the stuff that
- 33:51I've seen on him, I think he'll be OK.
- 33:53But at the end of the day, he's facing the best in the world and
- 33:56we'll see if he can if he can hold his own.
- 34:00All right, the last one I got is Corbin Burns exited his June 1st
- 34:04start against Washington due to elbow tightness, which was later
- 34:07conform later confirmed he had a torn UCL and undergo Tommy
- 34:11John's surgery later in the later in the week or next week
- 34:15with Elatros. Did you see Elatros job for
- 34:18yours or did you go straight to Doctor Andrews?
- 34:20I just went. I went and lived with Andrews.
- 34:22Nice. Well that yeah, same.
- 34:24Well this goes through. I mean, obviously they paid him
- 34:26this massive contract. So what did he get, $210 million
- 34:29deal? So he's going to be out for the
- 34:30rest of 22,025, likely most of 2026.
- 34:34Through 11 starts he was three and two with a 26 ERA, 63 punch
- 34:38and 64 and a third innings. What does this mean for Arizona
- 34:41Diamondbacks baseball? They buyers or sellers at the
- 34:45trade deadline and obviously they're going to have to go out
- 34:48and and sign an arm if they're trying to get into.
- 34:50This buyers, I think they're buyers I.
- 34:53Honestly. I think they're buyers.
- 34:54I think Arizona's a good team. They did lose Corbin Burns.
- 34:57This is a team that what was it 2 years ago?
- 35:00They were in the World Series. What was it 2 years ago?
- 35:02Right now they're 500. They're around 503 1/2 games
- 35:05back from a wild card. And they and they won without
- 35:08Corbin Burns. Now Corbin Burns obviously
- 35:10didn't say the Baltimore Orioles didn't want to resign them, so
- 35:13they let him go. And maybe this is the reason why
- 35:16the the Baltimore Orioles didn't want to give him the contract
- 35:18and the money that he wanted because they knew there was
- 35:20something wrong with him. Maybe that was why Garrett Cole
- 35:23in the offseason decided, hey, I'm going to go and go to the
- 35:26open market. That then he realized him and
- 35:28his agent said, you know what, maybe we should stay here
- 35:30because my shoulder or my arms not really doing so well.
- 35:34And I'm my elbow, whatever my arm, you know, my arms not doing
- 35:37so well. I'm I'm probably going to be out
- 35:40for at least another year, maybe 2.
- 35:42I'll take the money and I'll run with it.
- 35:43I think that's the Corbin birds situation.
- 35:46Arizona is just gonna have to sit back and just wait and hope
- 35:50Corbin Birds comes back healthy and 100%.
- 35:54Yeah, but for this year, they have some.
- 35:56If you're trying to, it doesn't matter.
- 35:58It doesn't matter. You go after the best guy
- 36:00available. That's what you're gonna do if
- 36:01you're if you're trying to make the playoffs, you're in a
- 36:04division that's going to be hard to win.
- 36:06I mean, obviously you have the Dodgers in that division and you
- 36:09even have the Padres that, you know, even they Michael, Michael
- 36:12King looks like he's could be out a significant amount of
- 36:15time. I might not be back this year.
- 36:17So I mean, all these teams are going to be looking up and down.
- 36:20You just got to hope that after the All Star break, you pick up
- 36:22your pace and maybe you get the better player or the best player
- 36:25available at the trade deadline. It's a weird dilemma, Goody,
- 36:28because you look at the Diamondbacks roster, they're
- 36:30mostly young and this big of a pitching problem.
- 36:32I don't think they expected to have no matter how Burns was
- 36:35because there was some questions with how if he was the last two
- 36:38months of the year last year. But let's have a whole rotation
- 36:41that's been down all at once with font and gallon both down
- 36:44down as well. I don't think it's a problem
- 36:46they had to expect overreact to and that's what makes it tough.
- 36:49Can they get that kind of offer to help them for a picture that
- 36:52not that they can not only sign but can fill out the rotation
- 36:55with? They're probably going to have
- 36:57to give up the farm for it too, because.
- 36:59Knowing now. That the need is that is that
- 37:00much greater for what they were. Yeah.
- 37:02Because teams, that's what teams are doing.
- 37:03They're waiting. Yeah, we know what you need now.
- 37:06What's it going to be worth, right.
- 37:07So now the price tag just jumped because of what you're looking
- 37:10for, so. So like they have some free
- 37:13agents, I think coming up with Zach Gallon, Merrill Kelly, Josh
- 37:17Naylor, Eugenio Suarez, like you go out and just trade those guys
- 37:23and get a premium arm or. You might consider it with
- 37:27Suarez. He has good value and he's been
- 37:29in. That's probably their best power
- 37:30hitter this year. Yeah, so you're gonna give up
- 37:33Supreme bat for? Them he's in the top five in the
- 37:36last like 5 years of Homer's total.
- 37:39Yeah. So you're gonna give that up for
- 37:42an arm and or you're either gonna do that or you're gonna
- 37:44give up the farm. Yeah.
- 37:47I just think they're in a pretty, I think they're in a
- 37:49pretty tough predicament. I mean, don't really follow
- 37:52Arizona that much, but I know Corbin Burns is a hot commodity
- 37:55this this last offseason. So sucks for him going down with
- 38:00Tommy John. I mean, kind of.
- 38:02I mean, it sucks, but at the same time, he also got 210
- 38:04million. So how bad does it really suck,
- 38:06you know? But it sucks for Arizona.
- 38:10So. Well, I guess we'll see what
- 38:11happens with them, but I think they should go.
- 38:14I'm always one to just like if you're 3 1/2 games back, let's
- 38:17just keep riding it because something, something's got to
- 38:19give, freaking Murray states in the college rows.
- 38:21Look what's going on with the Blue Jays.
- 38:23Look what's going on right now at Tampa there.
- 38:25What was it 3 weeks ago? They were out of a playoff spot,
- 38:28they were playing like crap and all of a sudden both teams got
- 38:31hot and now they're a borderline playoff team.
- 38:33So what are they going to do? If they need a pitcher, they
- 38:36need a they need a bat, they're going to go after the best
- 38:38player available. If they're right there in the
- 38:40mix, if they're in the mix right now in the National League, you
- 38:43best believe they're going to be throwing out there some
- 38:46somebody, somebody young or some talent out there to get
- 38:49themselves an arm. That's what usually teams do.
- 38:52The Yankees are known to do that, that's for sure.
- 38:54So why not them? So there you go.
- 38:58I agree with you. I would.
- 38:59I don't disagree. If we can win it, let's win it.
- 39:02I don't like playing. I don't like freaking being
- 39:04nobody. You guys can both attest you
- 39:06guys played. Playing in September when it's
- 39:08meaningless. Baseball sucks.
- 39:10Of course he had to mention that.
- 39:12Of course he had to mention that.
- 39:13Yeah, figures, Goody goodies, bag of balls, ladies and
- 39:16gentlemen, you could stay on man.
- 39:18If if you want to stay on where we've got two more segments and
- 39:22they go pretty quick as we call our next segment, dial it up.
- 39:27We interrupt this regularly scheduled hot mix to bring an
- 39:29important news we got a. Big broadcast to do here.
- 39:33We're about to dial it all. It up OK guys welcome to dial it
- 39:41up our lightning round stories that we haven't talked about yet
- 39:46from all over the world of sports.
- 39:48Errol hasn't seen it yet. He's going to dial up a take and
- 39:51we'll have one of the guys respond to it after he goes.
- 39:56Are you ready for tonight's? Dial it up.
- 39:58I hope so. Let's.
- 40:00Get the music going and the first story.
- 40:05I love the music for this. Here we go, it's the horses.
- 40:09Yes, Sovereignty reigned supreme over Journalism once again very
- 40:142025 in the Belmont after Sovereignty defeated Journalism
- 40:19in the Kentucky Derby by 1 1/2 lengths 5 weeks ago.
- 40:22Sovereignty skips the Preakness, which Journalism then won three
- 40:26weeks ago in the rematch that was in Saratoga Springs.
- 40:30As you know, the Belmont's under construction.
- 40:32It was almost a carbon copy of the Derby as Sovereignty
- 40:34defeated Journalism by three lengths, this time with the same
- 40:373rd place finisher Beza. I thought it was a repeat of
- 40:41what happened before. According to winning trainer
- 40:43Bill Mott, the jockey Junior Alvarado ducked in behind
- 40:47Journalism from the half mile pole to the wire.
- 40:50It was a replay of the Kentucky Derby.
- 40:51After the race, Journalism trainer blamed the loss on
- 40:54having less rest than Sovereignty.
- 40:57You'd have to think so anytime a horse of Sovereignties caliber
- 41:00gets 5 weeks off. And McCarthy says the trainer,
- 41:03They chose to do what was best for their horse and we chose to
- 41:05do was best for ours. We were second best and I could
- 41:08not be prouder of my horse. They're not acting like they're
- 41:10sad about it. I don't know if I believe them,
- 41:13Errol. Well, it's pretty simple,
- 41:17there's no Triple Crown winner, so nobody gives a crap.
- 41:21And the fact that these horses are sitting, how long do they
- 41:24have to sit there? 3 year old, 3 year olds, 2 year
- 41:27olds racing in these races and then all of a sudden they win a
- 41:30race, they lose a race, they win a race, they lose a race, and
- 41:33then they sell their sperm to the devil.
- 41:35I don't give a crap who raced in this damn frigging, you know,
- 41:39whatever, it wasn't even at the Belmont.
- 41:41Nobody gives a crap. Nobody cares if there's no
- 41:44Triple Crown winner. Nobody cares who it's screwing
- 41:48after the fact they win a race. All we know is these horses,
- 41:52whatever they're breeding, whatever they're breeding,
- 41:54they're worth millions and millions of dollars.
- 41:56And whoever owns this sovereignties or whoever these
- 41:59these horse names are, it's they're probably going to be
- 42:02very rich people. That's all I care about.
- 42:05Money talks, right, Speedy? Money talks well that Chaz is
- 42:08the one that all the money with that with the with the first
- 42:11race, with the Kentucky Derby. And yeah, the money is still
- 42:13going to come no matter where the races are.
- 42:15But again, like we were talking about a few weeks ago, like it's
- 42:17a flaw with the system with trying to get the Triple Crown
- 42:20balance versus a horse that has enough stamina.
- 42:23And I I think that's where you're leading to all these
- 42:26dropping out of the second races.
- 42:27Maybe they got to. Spend them out.
- 42:28Differently, but they're still stuck on the tradition, so it's
- 42:30just a weird dilemma. Let's go to Jason Worth.
- 42:33Let's ask him his opinion. That's true.
- 42:34I mean he he's selling sperm still goody.
- 42:36How about? How about Goody?
- 42:40All right, give me a second. I'll dial them up.
- 42:46Goodie, you love it. You know you love it.
- 42:48Here we go. Next one, let's go back to
- 42:50baseball. There was a nice little story.
- 42:53Although the Yankees lost over the weekend, on Sunday, Aaron
- 42:56Judge ripped a home run off of this rookie Red Sox pitcher.
- 43:00He was talking some smack about the Yankees franchise, which I
- 43:03believe we had a game last. Last episode was the best of all
- 43:06time. Red Sox rookie pitcher Hunter
- 43:08Dobbins made way before the start of the Yankees Red Sox
- 43:11series finale this weekend, saying he'd rather retire if the
- 43:15Yankees were the last team to give him a contract.
- 43:17Judge then said, I've only heard Ken Griffey say that, so I was a
- 43:20little surprised. Then Judge surprised Dobbins
- 43:23with a 436 foot oppo shot to right center off a 98 mile an
- 43:28hour high fastball that he left a little bit over the middle to
- 43:32run home run. Jazz, Chisholm Errol.
- 43:34This is why I brought this one up because Jazz, that's in on
- 43:37the fun. Your favorite?
- 43:39I love competitiveness, but to say that being a rookie is kind
- 43:44of crazy to me to say that you're going to rule out one of
- 43:47thirty teams to be a professional athlete.
- 43:50Just in case you forgot about Judge. 39623 homers, 55 RBIs, 62
- 43:56runs, 1.264 OPS. Errol.
- 44:02Dial it up. I don't know who Hunter Dobbins
- 44:05is. He's a rookie.
- 44:07He wants to open his mouth. He wants to smack.
- 44:09He wants to lay the smack. If well, he got smacked up,
- 44:12guys, that's all I'm going to say.
- 44:14I will say this and I think it's I I think it keeps coming in on
- 44:17on that side. I'm going to I'm going to mute
- 44:19that. I, I will say this, Aaron Judge
- 44:23doesn't have to prove anything to anybody.
- 44:25We all know he's the captain. We all know he's the face of the
- 44:27franchise. He's probably the face of
- 44:29baseball. You can argue that he is.
- 44:31The fact is, is this kid goes out there, he opens his mouth,
- 44:34He got to put up or shut up. Think the Red Sox still won the
- 44:37game even if Aaron Judge smacked that, a 436 home run, foot home
- 44:43run, it really doesn't matter. The Red Sox won the series.
- 44:46So Dobbins obviously can't stand the New York Yankees.
- 44:49There's a lot of people that can't stand the New York
- 44:51Yankees. The fact is you got to go out
- 44:54there and you got to win games and the Red Sox won the game.
- 44:56So it doesn't matter what Aaron Judge did in the game.
- 44:59And by the way, I don't want you, Dobbins.
- 45:01So stay over there with the Red Sox or the red cranks or the
- 45:05ball Busters. Go play with the bloody Sox if
- 45:07you want, I could give a crap. Kiss my ass.
- 45:10Hunt that one hunter. Yeah, I think it's, it's
- 45:16interesting to me when you get a, a kid trying to, I don't
- 45:20know, is he, is he trying to make an impression?
- 45:23Is he trying to project something that he isn't or is he
- 45:31just stupid? I mean, it's it's obviously a
- 45:35rivalry. I mean, it's the first time I
- 45:36was ever thrown out was in a Red Sox Yankees game.
- 45:40So I just think it's it's it's kind of you don't know him.
- 45:45Is he trying to make a statement?
- 45:46But also, you don't necessarily do it in this instance as a as a
- 45:54rookie, because as mentioned, I've talked about before, back
- 45:57in the day, if if that was said and it became bullet poured
- 46:00material, you're getting pulled to this side and be like, what
- 46:03are you doing? Like shut up.
- 46:06Like this isn't your place to say it.
- 46:07Now, if you got a veteran that says it, it carries different
- 46:11weight. And they've been around, they've
- 46:13experienced it, they've been a part of the rivalry.
- 46:16And so that's where as Richie was like, yeah, they just tap
- 46:21them on the back now. But yeah, back then you're as a
- 46:24rookie, if you said one word, I was scared to say anything.
- 46:29I'm like, no, I'm I'm good. Oh, you need you need candy in
- 46:33the backpack. You want me to go get this 10
- 46:36four, What do you need? But I wasn't going talking to
- 46:39the media. I wasn't saying, oh, they're
- 46:41terrible or this that and another thing.
- 46:43And I just you pick your battles and especially as a rookie, I
- 46:49feel like obviously the game has changed, but you pick your
- 46:53battles and when you've earned that right to, you know, kind of
- 46:55run your jibbs a little bit, then it is what it is.
- 46:59But not now. You don't do it now, especially
- 47:02in this type of rivalry in the in the history that it has, you
- 47:06just shut up and go out and pitch and hopefully nobody knows
- 47:08your name until you're somebody. But now everybody knows it for
- 47:11for different reasons. And that's not always a good
- 47:13thing in a big market. Kevin, I want to hear your take
- 47:16quickly because I know you're sitting there.
- 47:18Might as well get your take on this.
- 47:21No, you're he's right. That's just the thing.
- 47:24It just becomes let me just run my mouth about something that I
- 47:28know nothing about other than what I've read until you until
- 47:31you experience that rivalry, being involved in it and and
- 47:34seeing what it's like because you're just like he said, you're
- 47:37giving full board material to the team, which I mean it and
- 47:41the team guys handle it differently, right.
- 47:42It's just something that's it's not really brought up.
- 47:45The guys really don't care about it until somebody says something
- 47:48to them about it, right? The media goes to, and I mean,
- 47:51to put Grant, there are guys that'll say, oh, we shouldn't
- 47:54run his mouth. Yeah, he's right.
- 47:56But you know, you notice the judge didn't say anything other
- 47:58than nothing disrespectful. Just the fact of, you know, kind
- 48:02of like he really shouldn't have been saying anything because
- 48:05you're not anybody. Then you have Chisholm trying to
- 48:08be, you know, whoever you talk, running your mouth type of
- 48:12thing. So I mean it, you see it, It's
- 48:14not like in hockey, if somebody does it, you can go punch him in
- 48:16the face of football. Go yo, I'm going to get you
- 48:18baseball. You know, it'd be one thing.
- 48:21He did it and then he drills somebody and, and kind of just
- 48:23ignites the right. If he's trying to light a light
- 48:25a fire under somebody, I can see.
- 48:28But you're, you're, you, you have no say.
- 48:32You know nothing. You know nothing about anything
- 48:34other than factive. Oh, I have a phone and I can I
- 48:37can tweet out and run my mouth about something that I really
- 48:39know nothing about. I think, I think he was just
- 48:43trying to light a fire under the Boston fan base.
- 48:46Like I'm all Boston, you know, F the Yankees, I want Boston
- 48:50behind me, whatever type of thing.
- 48:53That's dude. That shit's for the Burns, bro.
- 48:56I'm guarantee you if the Yankees were the last team to offer him
- 48:59a contract, 1000% he's signing. Yeah, so all talk to me.
- 49:05I got what he deserved. He got smacked.
- 49:07Well, I, I loved how Judge was just saying, oh, you know, I
- 49:12only ever heard Ken Griffey say that.
- 49:13This guy doesn't sound like Ken Griffey to me.
- 49:15Yeah, it's basically what he was saying, and then he made his
- 49:19point pretty clear with his actions.
- 49:21It sucks when you lose those games, all right?
- 49:24But it wasn't like he hit the home run and then he's looking
- 49:26at him like, dude, yeah, you know, pimping it out, you know,
- 49:29you know, running your mouth type thing.
- 49:30He just did his job and and he went about it.
- 49:33It wasn't like it was. It was kind of like your Big
- 49:35Brother smacking your ass and going don't do it again.
- 49:40All right, let's keep going. We got some tennis.
- 49:44So I don't know if you saw this, but Coco Goff, the American
- 49:48upset Arnia Sabalenka in the finals of the French Open now
- 49:54and it was a 676264 finals. So she lost the first set and
- 49:59won the 2nd 2:00. But instead of being thankful
- 50:02and gracious, Sabalenka was very disrespectful in saying that she
- 50:06didn't win the match golf, she lost it to her.
- 50:10It wouldn't give her credit for the win.
- 50:11Doubled down even later saying that golf would have lost to Ego
- 50:15Suitek who had won the French Open 3 times in a row before she
- 50:19lost in the semi finals to Sabalenka if she had not been in
- 50:22her previous round. Sabalenka made 70 unforced
- 50:26errors in the match and said it was the worst final I've ever
- 50:28played. I think she won the match not
- 50:30because she played incredible, just because I made all those
- 50:34mistakes. Golf disagreed with Seblinka
- 50:39comment. Her being number one in the
- 50:40world was the best person to play, so I think I got the
- 50:43hardest matchup just if you go off stats alone.
- 50:47Sore loser situation going on with the top two people in
- 50:50tennis. Errol.
- 50:52Dial it up. I love Coco Goff.
- 50:55I think she is a great face for United States tennis right now.
- 50:59That's what you want. You want somebody that's going
- 51:00to go out there and say I want to play the best and, and that's
- 51:04it. And I I don't know anything
- 51:06about some bikini, whatever her name is.
- 51:08All I do know. All I do know is that when you
- 51:12go out there and you make excuses, you make yourself look
- 51:15really, really bad. As a professional athlete,
- 51:17you're one of the best. You're one of the best tennis
- 51:19players in the world, especially women's tennis players, and
- 51:23you're not anywhere close to Venus Williams or even Serena
- 51:27Williams, and you're running your mouth.
- 51:28When you start winning multiple championships, then you can come
- 51:32and talk to me. Until then, you shouldn't be
- 51:35opening your mouth and throwing yourself under the bus that you
- 51:37made too many mistakes, You lost.
- 51:39You made the mistakes, Coco outplayed you.
- 51:42Shut your mouth and go cry to somebody else that gives a crap.
- 51:47I'm done with this. Go drop the mic and play with
- 51:50yourself. But I mean, in any sport we talk
- 51:53about, it's the player that makes the least amount of
- 51:56mistakes, is the best player, the one the most deserving.
- 51:59Coco Golf. Depends on the sport.
- 52:01Well, in this case, of course, she she blatantly said that she
- 52:05made the most mistakes, that she basically admitted that Coco
- 52:08Golf was the better player, but she didn't want to give her her
- 52:10props. Like Fish mentioned.
- 52:11And I'm right behind you, Coco Golf is one of the best people
- 52:14to represent this women's sports right now.
- 52:17And of course, since, you know, you don't have Serena around
- 52:20anymore and a couple other women, you know, I think Coco
- 52:23Golf is really taking this figurehead as the figurehead of
- 52:26women's tennis really like a champ.
- 52:29And she's really proving it at a young age, only 2122 years old,
- 52:33I believe. And the first woman and I think
- 52:34and I believe in a long time, the first USA woman to win the
- 52:37French Open in a long time, so. Isn't it like with Serena
- 52:40Williams was the last United States to win the United States
- 52:43player to win the French Open? Yeah, so I guess I don't
- 52:46remember when the last time she won it.
- 52:47I remember reading like this is the first time in a very long
- 52:50time AUSA woman has won it. But like us, like you, I'm with,
- 52:54I'm 100% with you Errol. It's very bad at Sabalinka being
- 52:57the number one player coming up with all these excuses and Coco
- 53:01Golf really did look the best. Player she was Sabalinka because
- 53:04she was blank. She was shooting blanks because
- 53:08they said that's what I think. I think she's just crying about
- 53:11something she shouldn't be crying about.
- 53:12Go out there, play the game, play the best you can play.
- 53:15And if you can't get over the hump, stop pointing your fingers
- 53:18and throwing this young American tennis player because doesn't
- 53:22want to give her any credit. I'm surprised you didn't say
- 53:24anything other other than that stupid because we've heard many
- 53:27different tennis players say stupid things which they
- 53:30shouldn't be saying in certain specific times.
- 53:33So I'm not even going to mention.
- 53:35Remember Boris Becker what he was saying about Andre Agassi in
- 53:38the 90s? Oh, man, I could go back-to-back
- 53:41Pete Sampras, you know, getting people taking shots at Pete
- 53:45Sampras, saying he's one of the most boring players to watch,
- 53:48but he goes out there and kicks Goran on Ivanisovich.
- 53:51Ivanisovich, which is ass in a, in a championship game on clay.
- 53:55So I, I remember, I think, I think you should just keep your
- 53:59mouth shut and play the GameStop worrying about what the other
- 54:01guy or girl is doing on the, on the tennis court, on the
- 54:04football, football field, or even on the ice rink.
- 54:08Because the media is just looking for that little sound
- 54:10bite of that little bit and they run with it.
- 54:13It's been easily handled. Hey, I made so many unforced
- 54:16errors. Give her credit.
- 54:17She took advantage of it. She beat me.
- 54:19You know what? This won't be the last time I
- 54:20see her. And we'll see what happens Next
- 54:22time you do it that way. That way, you put that little
- 54:24seed in her head of going, OK, I'm coming for you.
- 54:27Not I, I lost. She's not that good.
- 54:31It was my fault that I lost. Yeah, I, I just looked at the
- 54:35last winners. So the last American winner was
- 54:38Serena Williams in 2015, years ago.
- 54:42Before Serena, she won three times.
- 54:44Before Serena, it was Jennifer Capriati in 2000 and.
- 54:48One Jenna, if you, if you don't remember Jennifer Capriati, she
- 54:51eventually she was up and coming one of the biggest American
- 54:55tennis players and then she started doing drugs, hanging out
- 54:57with the wrong guys. And then her career practically
- 55:00ended just as quick as it started, unfortunately.
- 55:03And Jennifer Capriati could have been, I wouldn't say she was
- 55:06Serena Williams, but she was going to be like the next big
- 55:09thing if you remember her. So it's a shame what happened to
- 55:12Jennifer. I seen the great documentary on
- 55:14Jennifer Capriotti 30 for 30 or no E60 E 60 did a documentary
- 55:20on. Her there was something weird
- 55:22with her coach or something like that.
- 55:23I don't remember the exact thing, but we got to move on to
- 55:28music. Errol Lil Wayne is honoring
- 55:32sports stars in his new album that dropped on Friday, The
- 55:35Carter Six. Yes, and his new album dropped
- 55:39on Friday. Multiple shout outs to other
- 55:42sports stars. On the song Written History he
- 55:45shouts out Deon Sanders and Nick Saban.
- 55:49Gary Payton and Reggie Miller get shouted out on Rory and hip
- 55:52hop and Wayne gets even more old school on Welcome to the Carter
- 55:57when he raps. Thanks for shopping at the
- 55:59Carter where the verses stay fresh.
- 56:02Yes, rest in peace, Jerry West, but this is where the peace
- 56:06never rests. Unfortunately for Lil Wayne, 42
- 56:09years old now, the reviews of the Carter 6 have been
- 56:12lackluster and he has been flamed on the Internet by
- 56:15influencers and some critics. Wayne made news this past fall
- 56:18when he was passed over for the Super Bowl for Kendrick Lamar
- 56:21and complained about it. As in, it was his hometown of
- 56:24New Orleans. Errol, you've been asking for
- 56:26music. Dial it up Well is Birdman
- 56:31making any money on this album because he's taking every single
- 56:37piece of credit of Little Wayne's career.
- 56:39Honestly, Little Wayne is really been one of those one of those
- 56:44hip hop artists that has grown into position in the
- 56:48broadcasting world. He's become a sports broadcaster
- 56:50more than an A rapper or hip hop artist.
- 56:53He's really taking himself away from the hip hop world because
- 56:56of what Birdman has done over for the last nine years to his
- 56:59music, taking control of who he is and what he is as an artist.
- 57:03I like what little Wayne does as far as bringing the sports world
- 57:08to the attention of his artistry.
- 57:10I like it, I really do. The only problem here is I
- 57:13listen to the album. It sucks.
- 57:15It's not a good album, it's not sellable.
- 57:18And if you want to sell to the public eye, you got to add some
- 57:22kind of popish music that's going to sell to the DJ that's
- 57:25going to play your music and actually get the younger women
- 57:29and the younger fans to come and follow you and listen to your
- 57:32your tracks. It wasn't really good for the
- 57:34younger crowd. It's good for the athlete
- 57:36because their names are in it. It's not going to sell to the
- 57:39younger fan that you want to sell your product to.
- 57:43And by the way, little Wayne is one of the worst sports analyst
- 57:47in professional sports history. And the only reason why he has a
- 57:50job is because he kisses Deion Sanders his ass.
- 57:53And that's all I'm going to sell say to that.
- 57:56And by the way, Travis, Travis, Louis Hunter, if you want to
- 57:59hang out with Lil Wayne, you can hang out with all the other
- 58:02gremlins with him too. So that's it.
- 58:06Wow, well Lil Wayne is coming in.
- 58:07My sister just sent me a thing on Instagram.
- 58:09He's coming to Orlando here pretty soon.
- 58:11Good. You don't want to listen to that
- 58:13album, that's for sure. I have not listened to his
- 58:15newest album, I've been too busy and the Cage is getting better.
- 58:19But he's got a song, he's got a song.
- 58:23His Best Song is with Bono. It is so stupid.
- 58:28It's the Best Song because it's the most popish that you DJ
- 58:31would probably play. It is horrible, horrible lyrics.
- 58:36And and by the way, whoever is writing his lyrics, go home, go
- 58:41somewhere. He's the best rapper.
- 58:45He's the best if he's the best rapper.
- 58:48Louisiana. I'm the second best lap rapper
- 58:51alive, OK? He's horrible.
- 58:53It's horrible. It's a horrible album.
- 58:55Horrible. I think Lil Wayne should have
- 58:57performed this. I think he should have been the
- 58:59Super Bowl halftime show, 100%. Being in New Orleans, like he's
- 59:02from New Orleans. I probably would have been that
- 59:04probably would have been really cool.
- 59:06Might have might have put him in retirement.
- 59:07And being 42 years old, I still think he, I still think he
- 59:10bangs. I still listen to his music in
- 59:12the locker room. We were listening to Red Nation
- 59:14yesterday before the game. So I mean, it's Lil Wayne.
- 59:17I'm excited to go to his, to his concert or you know, whatever
- 59:21his his outing, his performance here.
- 59:23If if I'm in town, I'm definitely going to hit that up.
- 59:25Who? Cares if he's 42.
- 59:27Eminem's first second album, I think he was 40 or 41 or 39.
- 59:32Who cares how old he is and. He's he's got away from.
- 59:37The game and came in and came into the music industry late in
- 59:41his career so. He did.
- 59:44He's still in his like late 20s early 30s.
- 59:46I'm, I'm pretty sure Eminem's like second or third album, he
- 59:49was 3940 years old because he's like in.
- 59:52His 50s. He's 52 right now, so in 1999 he
- 59:56would have been 27 when he released.
- 59:58What was his third album? What was his third album?
- 1:00:00How old was he with his? Third album he would have, he
- 1:00:02would have been like like early 30s.
- 1:00:04He would have been like in his early 30s.
- 1:00:05I don't know. But he then took a break and
- 1:00:07then. That's old for baseball now, but
- 1:00:09that's young for the Rock game. Not really.
- 1:00:12It's interesting, no? Rap game kind of changed where
- 1:00:14there's more older people. In it I, I think they're young
- 1:00:17in the rap game is when you're 2122, that's what that's when
- 1:00:21you really explode off, you know, off the paper.
- 1:00:24I don't think when Eminem came, Eminem came into the, the, the
- 1:00:28industry late in his career. I mean usually they come in
- 1:00:31their early 20s, not in their 30s.
- 1:00:33He had to walk all 8 miles of that road to get there, let's
- 1:00:36say. Now let's move on to the last
- 1:00:39story of Dial It Up. Oh, this is the one close to my
- 1:00:43heart. Errol.
- 1:00:44I couldn't believe this. The Giants break up with a fan
- 1:00:48who wanted to cancel their season tickets.
- 1:00:51Yes, that doesn't make any sense.
- 1:00:52But Kenneth Lang, a long time Giants fan, decided to get rid
- 1:00:55of his season tickets in a post on LinkedIn, which apparently
- 1:00:59rubbed the Giant sales staff the wrong way, who then tried to
- 1:01:02convince him otherwise. He wouldn't change his mind,
- 1:01:05wouldn't take the post down. The Giant sent him a letter
- 1:01:08revoking his season tickets in legal, they said legalese
- 1:01:13language, essentially breaking up with him before he could
- 1:01:17break up with them. The Giants were then of course,
- 1:01:21torched on social media for treating their long-suffering
- 1:01:24fans in this manner. Errol.
- 1:01:28Dial it up. I don't know who Kenneth Lang
- 1:01:30is, but I love you, Kenneth. This team hasn't won nothing.
- 1:01:34They've been a champion in 2011. How many playoff runs?
- 1:01:39What quarterbacks have you drafted?
- 1:01:41Where have you put your team? How many GM's have you had?
- 1:01:44How many coaches do you have? And by the way, you fired Tom
- 1:01:47Coughlin when you all you had to do is give him some defensive
- 1:01:50line help and maybe you win another Super Bowl.
- 1:01:52Shame on the Giants. Mara's a horrible, horrible
- 1:01:55owner. And by the way, when everybody
- 1:01:57talks, talks about organizations knowing what they're doing and
- 1:02:00how they work their players, well, ask Brown, ask all these
- 1:02:03other guys that they brought to this organization and have done
- 1:02:06stupid things on and off the field.
- 1:02:08I think this is an organization just like the New York Jets.
- 1:02:11When you talk about New York sports, you don't talk about the
- 1:02:13Giants and Jets anymore. You just talk about the Buffalo
- 1:02:16Bills. As far as this guy and what he's
- 1:02:18buying, it's his money. If he doesn't want to spend his
- 1:02:21hard armed money on your on your product, go out there and add
- 1:02:26pieces to the puzzle because the garbage that you're putting out
- 1:02:29there, including letting Saquon Barkley go to the Philadelphia
- 1:02:33Eagles and win a Super Bowl makes you shameful.
- 1:02:37And that's why he decided to part ways with your tickets
- 1:02:41because your tickets mean shit. That's what I'm going to say.
- 1:02:45Wipe your ass with it. It's not worth nothing as a Jet
- 1:02:48fan and for you Giant fans, you're wasting your time.
- 1:02:51And by the way, if you Giant fans think by bringing in this
- 1:02:55quarterback and moving up in the draft is going to they make it
- 1:02:58any better, boy, oh boy, you're not going to be smiling in the
- 1:03:02next three to four years. Sue on this.
- 1:03:04Oh, I'm smiling. Sue on this, I'm smiling.
- 1:03:06You could say whatever you want Errol, but Joey, bag of Donuts,
- 1:03:09Shane, he is in charge right now.
- 1:03:13He has just had another lights out draft.
- 1:03:15That makes two in a row for Joe Shane.
- 1:03:18Brian Dabel just saw him over the weekend at a 5 year old flag
- 1:03:22football game in North Jersey. He was jacked up for five year
- 1:03:26old football. I said go Giants.
- 1:03:28That was basically the interaction and that was how I
- 1:03:32know this is the year. This is the year, Errol, you
- 1:03:35have no idea what you're even talking about.
- 1:03:37The giants have done everything possible.
- 1:03:39Jackson's art future gold jacket wear.
- 1:03:42Wonderful. This not even a question.
- 1:03:44What a move. We're going to go all way, baby.
- 1:03:49What drugs are you on? Are you smoking?
- 1:03:51Are you smoking more than you usually smoke?
- 1:03:54He's got all missing him. We have Eli that's.
- 1:03:57Going to be old miss because they're just doing jello shots.
- 1:04:01They're old and they miss as they shoot blanks every single
- 1:04:04time they. Really say though, Errol, our
- 1:04:06most disgusting thing I've seen an ownership group do, obviously
- 1:04:10they didn't know about it or else they wouldn't have done it
- 1:04:12because it's a bad PR thing. So that means their institution
- 1:04:15as a franchise is run really poorly.
- 1:04:18They don't have the right people in charge in marketing, they
- 1:04:21don't have the right people in charge in sales and they don't
- 1:04:23have the right people in charge doing the right things in the
- 1:04:26franchise. And that's why we've had a
- 1:04:28decade plus of just institutional failure.
- 1:04:31That's what's been going on. New York Sports.
- 1:04:33They got rid of Coughlin, New York.
- 1:04:34Sports. New York Sports.
- 1:04:36But it's looking up now with Joey Beggin Don't unchanged.
- 1:04:39Stable will be fired at the end of the year.
- 1:04:41Their GM is going to be fired at the end of the year.
- 1:04:44And by the way, the Giants will be looking yet again for another
- 1:04:47head coach. The Giants at one point had
- 1:04:50coaches every 10 to 12 years. They've had four coaches in 10
- 1:04:55years. So congratulations to the
- 1:04:58absolutely, incredibly stupid New York Giants.
- 1:05:02There you go. And guys, that has been another
- 1:05:04rendition of. Dial it up.
- 1:05:06All right. Ladies and gentlemen, our final
- 1:05:09segment of the night is what's that smell?
- 1:05:12Hold up, what is that smell? What's that smell?
- 1:05:21Wow, you don't see that every day.
- 1:05:23You know, there's a lot of smelly things out there.
- 1:05:26I mean, speedies farts are one of them.
- 1:05:28And you know, other people's moms when they're not taking a
- 1:05:31bath. But ladies and gentlemen, this
- 1:05:33segment is pretty simple. All you got to do and all you're
- 1:05:37listening to here is we're going to give you a story.
- 1:05:40It doesn't matter what it's about.
- 1:05:41Usually sports oriented. We're going to give you our take
- 1:05:44to it and then we're going to tell you what it smells like.
- 1:05:47We're going to give Kevin an opportunity to join in on this
- 1:05:50take as well. We're going to go 1st.
- 1:05:53I'm going to go scoops. Speedy goody fish, Jabba
- 1:06:02dementia, then me. Here we go, all.
- 1:06:06Right. All right, guys.
- 1:06:09So. Basically my first or my what's
- 1:06:13that smell is going to be the NBA Finals is here.
- 1:06:15We have game three starting off on Wednesday almost tomorrow
- 1:06:19basically. But basically the NBA Finals has
- 1:06:24been known for somewhat at least looking like an atmosphere where
- 1:06:27you're going to win a championship.
- 1:06:29The court used to be decked out. All these players used to have
- 1:06:32the nice jerseys with the nice patches that say the finals on
- 1:06:35it. Now it looks sort of like just a
- 1:06:36regular season game. You look at the courts now, all
- 1:06:40they really do care about with the courts is having AI almost
- 1:06:43said WNBA Cup, but the NBA, it's a.
- 1:06:45Beautiful jersey, by the way. The NBA in season tournament has
- 1:06:49a nicer court on top of that. The All Star game where they had
- 1:06:51the little LED lights when they shot the three pointers and
- 1:06:54whatnot. Who cares about that?
- 1:06:56I feel like wasting those NBA designs, those court designs on
- 1:07:00a regular season game, a regular season tournament that nobody
- 1:07:03cares about is a waste because now you have what?
- 1:07:06What was it? It looked like there was a like
- 1:07:08there was like a JPG clip art that was inserted in the
- 1:07:11thunders court and with the NBA Finals trophy and I just I
- 1:07:15missed it when it used to be when I was younger looking at
- 1:07:17the Celtics and the Lakers when they went to those finals
- 1:07:19back-to-back and looking at the magic with their and the spurs.
- 1:07:24Even with the midcourt designed with the NBA Finals trophy and
- 1:07:28what not, it used to look like it was a championship atmosphere
- 1:07:30and it's kind of missing this season looks like just a regular
- 1:07:33season game. And what does that smell like?
- 1:07:35I'm going to have to say it smells like Tyrese Halliburton
- 1:07:38and his father after not wiping after taking a pretty steamy
- 1:07:42crap. So that's what it smells.
- 1:07:44Like who's wiping who is this Halliburton senior or
- 1:07:47Halliburton junior and, and and what did they eat?
- 1:07:50That's what I want to know anyways, that.
- 1:07:52Good Indiana food. After after goodie eating what
- 1:07:55he ate. I don't want to smell what
- 1:07:57that's cooking in his best. I don't want.
- 1:08:01I was on the struggle bar there for a hot minute and not going
- 1:08:04to lie, cracked all my wife's ice cream.
- 1:08:06Half a gallon of milk. And then you're going to be
- 1:08:09smacking on that ass after the show.
- 1:08:11It's. Going to be a rough moment.
- 1:08:13Let me wipe him with a freaking snow cone all.
- 1:08:19Right, who's next? I'm up now.
- 1:08:21What happened? I'm going to go to some
- 1:08:23baseball. Clayton Kershaw being petty
- 1:08:25about the Cardinals showing the three run Homer in the
- 1:08:30postseason by Matt Adams from 2014 and Clayton Kershaw getting
- 1:08:34butt hurt by it. Calling the Saint Louis
- 1:08:36Cardinals a Bush league organization for playing a clip
- 1:08:39that was probably one of the more memorable postseason home
- 1:08:42runs that they had. And Clayton Kershaw was a future
- 1:08:44Hall of Famer who's played in Saint Louis since then
- 1:08:46complaining about it. So what does that smell like?
- 1:08:48Errol? You mentioned taking a bath.
- 1:08:50LeBron James Winery, the barrel of its most potent wine.
- 1:08:54LeBron James taking a post game bath at it after eating a
- 1:08:57Carolina Reaper. What?
- 1:09:05Is very elaborate. With this pretty gross.
- 1:09:08Anybody that gets in a wine bottle, wine barrel barrel with
- 1:09:13LeBron James is probably going to waste their, you know, waste
- 1:09:17their smell. If you know what I.
- 1:09:18Mean I don't think he gets in the barrel.
- 1:09:20I think he has like AI don't. Even think he can fit in the
- 1:09:23barrel, he's a big. Man, get like one of those like
- 1:09:25he's. His own wider I'm sure he has a
- 1:09:26custom barrel. For a that's a big man jumping
- 1:09:29in a barrel, that's a big man I'm.
- 1:09:32Just saying I'm the LJ commissioner, he has enough
- 1:09:34money to get a barrel his size. Guys see Simone Biles RIP Riley
- 1:09:39gains on how fish loves this one.
- 1:09:43Look at him, Simone Biles ripping Riley.
- 1:09:45This one from a cute few people. Say what?
- 1:09:49I vetoed this one by a few people, but go ahead.
- 1:09:52Well, you ain't vetoing it for me, dog.
- 1:09:54I'll tell you that because that's some bullshit right
- 1:09:57there. She was talking Simone Biles is
- 1:09:59all about, you know, she tweeted out this thing couple years ago.
- 1:10:04It's this guy, this pole vault or whatever his name was was in
- 1:10:07the was in the Olympics. I wouldn't have had any gold
- 1:10:10medals. Fast forward when now it's all
- 1:10:13whatever we're pronoun world now and all that we're in now.
- 1:10:18She throws out, well, we need to be have some inclusive
- 1:10:22inclusivity. And then Riley Gaines calls her
- 1:10:24out on it, which is the the 55 swimmer who lost to the six one
- 1:10:29man male swimmer for the NCAA championship.
- 1:10:34And it's just been massive feud on Twitter.
- 1:10:37If you don't know the story, I'm basically try and break it down
- 1:10:40to you for you real quick. Bunch of hip hip hypocrisy going
- 1:10:46on from Simone Biles and to me it smells like someone's butt
- 1:10:52hurt. And I.
- 1:10:55I. Breaking news, they call me the
- 1:10:58ladies man and Mr. Still your girl.
- 1:11:00Yeah. And I'm just going to leave it
- 1:11:02at that because I think fish, I could see fish over here.
- 1:11:07I got to go back off now. I'm just going to.
- 1:11:09I'm just going to put it to your way, Michael Jordan once put it.
- 1:11:12Republicans buy sneakers too, no?
- 1:11:15No, it's all good. It's all good and dandy, but all
- 1:11:18I'm saying is. I, I don't, I don't really care
- 1:11:21all. I know is farted.
- 1:11:22That I'll say this is that girl tied for fifth with that guy
- 1:11:26with that that person. I don't give a shit about
- 1:11:28participation trophies. That's one point in the track
- 1:11:31meet. Nobody cares about one point in
- 1:11:32the track meet. Years later, 5th place is one
- 1:11:35point or two points in the track meet tied for fifth.
- 1:11:38They share one point. That's who Riley who knows
- 1:11:40meets. She came in fifth.
- 1:11:41It wasn't winning. She tied for fifth with this
- 1:11:44guy. It wasn't even close.
- 1:11:45She was not a superstar. But that's irrelevant because I
- 1:11:49got three women who are superstars and they're coming up
- 1:11:53smelling like roses. Unfortunately, their father
- 1:11:56passed away, but now they're going to be Co owners of the
- 1:11:59Indianapolis Colts. Yes, Jim Ursay's daughters are
- 1:12:03now going to with his one daughter.
- 1:12:06Being are any of them single CEO?
- 1:12:09I don't know, Errol. That's that would be like
- 1:12:11hitting the lottery in a different way.
- 1:12:13His eldest daughter, Carly Ursay Gordon, will assume the role.
- 1:12:16I don't think she's single. Single with the hyphenated last
- 1:12:18name. We'll assume the role of owner
- 1:12:20and CEO and has been designated principal owner.
- 1:12:23The NFL bylaws say that you have to have a principal owner.
- 1:12:25But the other two sisters, Casey Foyt will be the owner and
- 1:12:28executive vice president, while youngest sister Kaylin Jackson
- 1:12:31will be the owner and chief grand officer.
- 1:12:34She will also be the president of the Indianapolis Colts
- 1:12:37Foundation. I don't think this has ever
- 1:12:39happened in the NFL where now we have this group of daughters
- 1:12:43inheriting a team that are going to kind of share operations this
- 1:12:46way. I think it's one of the cooler
- 1:12:47things that happen. RIP the Jim R say.
- 1:12:50But I think he's laid down quite a cool foundation going forward.
- 1:12:53So what was a real sad situation I think is going to come up
- 1:12:57smelling like Rose's voice. It's a nice one.
- 1:13:02Yeah, that was a good one. I like it.
- 1:13:05Oh great. I'm going to go with about how
- 1:13:08frustrating these umpires are getting.
- 1:13:11I don't know if you guys saw the with Nico Horner and did not
- 1:13:18cuss, did not do anything. He said you're having a really
- 1:13:21bad day and he ran him like wasn't in his face.
- 1:13:26He was walking by and he ran him.
- 1:13:28And then of course, counsel comes out, he gets ran younger
- 1:13:31umpire and Derek Thomas. Obviously we don't know because
- 1:13:35most of the old heads that we had are, are gone or had to be
- 1:13:39let go for certain other reasons.
- 1:13:43And for me, I'm just getting sick and tired of them feeling
- 1:13:46like the game is about them. Like if you're having a bad day,
- 1:13:50you're having a bad day. He didn't, he didn't use the
- 1:13:52magic word as we all know what it is.
- 1:13:55And we had really never seen that for him either.
- 1:13:59Like obviously some people, their reputation precedes them
- 1:14:01and, and you know, they get short triggers anyways, but I'm
- 1:14:06so tired of seeing this. And like emotion is still in the
- 1:14:09game. I we don't need robots, but it,
- 1:14:12everybody's getting to the point where that's what everybody's
- 1:14:16like. We can't have this anymore.
- 1:14:18And like I loved having conversations with umpires
- 1:14:21because I knew he would, he would might give me the inner
- 1:14:24third. I had to have one side of the
- 1:14:26plate. And if you just talked to him
- 1:14:29and didn't like show him up is is what I was brought up talking
- 1:14:35about then it was fine. And so it just smells like these
- 1:14:41guys egos are in the toilet and they didn't have any dude wipes
- 1:14:47and it stinks. As long as she's using dude
- 1:14:53wipes and taking care of my 2 hole I'm good.
- 1:14:58All right, Kevin, all right. Could you give us a story that
- 1:15:04you liked over the last 24 to 48 hours and tell us what it smells
- 1:15:08like? You have anything?
- 1:15:10No, the only thing I was thinking about him thinking
- 1:15:13about hockey, you have two teams that are can't be any farther
- 1:15:16apart playing in a final, which in the rest of the country could
- 1:15:19probably care less about, right? I mean Edmonton and Miami.
- 1:15:23I mean really, I mean that you remember that trip, Jobby take
- 1:15:27that trip from like Tampa to Seattle or something.
- 1:15:30Sucked. Good.
- 1:15:33You remember that trip here take that you take.
- 1:15:35That is just the worst trip actually we had to go from I
- 1:15:38heard the Expos had to go from San Juan to Seattle.
- 1:15:41So we were playing down there. If you talk about and just
- 1:15:44wondering about how the NHL with is able to survive with two
- 1:15:48teams back-to-back years in the Stanley Cup finals of the
- 1:15:51farthest travel distance between two cities and still put up the
- 1:15:54numbers and draw the fans that they're doing in Miami.
- 1:15:58A lot of a lot of beers will be drunk.
- 1:16:01Yes, especially with with that. But just see, I just thought I'm
- 1:16:06like, gosh, dog, that is the that is a hike that's like a six
- 1:16:09hour flight to deal with and everything else.
- 1:16:12But like you said, and the rest of the country could probably
- 1:16:14care less because of what is in the middle.
- 1:16:16Nobody really cares. You know, your big market teams
- 1:16:19aren't. But that comes back to the
- 1:16:20parody. You know what, to me the NHL has
- 1:16:23the all the other major sports sniff it up at their ass because
- 1:16:27the rest of the leagues need to use their dude wise because the
- 1:16:29NHL has created the parity and you have teams, small market
- 1:16:33teams competing at the top level.
- 1:16:35As long as she's using dude wise and taking care.
- 1:16:37Of it, when it happened last year, it was the IT was the
- 1:16:39furthest combination ever of a Stanley Cup matchup and it's
- 1:16:42probably one of the like 5 viewer like.
- 1:16:44Just makes my pecker hard. Combination like it would be the
- 1:16:475th furthest distance. Good, this is great.
- 1:16:51Well, that was a good one. I I like that Kevin.
- 1:16:54It's interesting. By the way, the Panthers won 6-1
- 1:16:57tonight, knocking off Edmonton and embarrassing them in such
- 1:17:00great fashion in their first Florida home game.
- 1:17:03So congratulations to the Florida Panthers as they just
- 1:17:06smashed around the one and only economy.
- 1:17:09David and Leon who dry sidle my final.
- 1:17:14What's that smell goes to? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it
- 1:17:17has to be the Green Bay Packers. After two straight injury filled
- 1:17:20seasons ultimately spelled out at the end of jar here
- 1:17:24Alexander's Packer career, he was released today as now jar
- 1:17:30here Alexander is a free agent. And what does that tell
- 1:17:34everybody? Well, if you're a team that
- 1:17:36needs a corner, a number one corner, New York Giants, you
- 1:17:40should be making a call to somebody's agent.
- 1:17:44But the New York Giants are a bunch of crud because they got
- 1:17:47stupid Joe Shane running the organization and Dave all, he
- 1:17:50doesn't know how to coach a defense.
- 1:17:51They're going to fall flat on their face.
- 1:17:53Jair Alexander looks like he could be heading to the other
- 1:17:56New York team for New York Jets. What does that smell?
- 1:18:00Absolute dog shit, because it doesn't really matter because
- 1:18:04they're the stats. The Jets are still not winning.
- 1:18:07So there you go. The Jets.
- 1:18:08The Jets got rid of Aaron Rodgers.
- 1:18:10The way The Jets, The Jets are the favorites of getting Jair
- 1:18:13Alexander. Believe it or not, they want to
- 1:18:14bring any more former Packers after the Aaron Rodgers.
- 1:18:16Debacle. That's what I've been reading.
- 1:18:18He's got to prove that he's staying healthy.
- 1:18:20He's only getting a one year deal until he can stay healthy
- 1:18:22and prove it. He wants to play for Aaron.
- 1:18:25Aaron Glenn. That's what I've been hearing
- 1:18:27and I wouldn't be surprised in the next couple of days you hear
- 1:18:30that The Jets are going to give him a one year deal worth about.
- 1:18:33I don't know, eight, $9 million be the second corner on this
- 1:18:37roster so. Giant Giant Secondary is loaded.
- 1:18:39We're good. Yeah, they're loaded.
- 1:18:41Tape banks on one side. Guys that can't stay healthy.
- 1:18:45Guys that can't stay healthy. God, what a joke.
- 1:18:48Kevins already projecting his bets for Devante Smith over 125
- 1:18:52yards. Hey, don't.
- 1:18:54Don't sleep on the Giants, baby. Big passer.
- 1:18:56I'll tell you who I was. Good.
- 1:18:57To cover a couple of seconds. I, I, I'll tell you, I was a
- 1:18:59good corner and a secondary. That's the Philadelphia Eagles
- 1:19:03that have two unbelievable, unbelievable young corners and,
- 1:19:08and Mitchell's going to only get better.
- 1:19:10And by the way, what's his name again?
- 1:19:11Who's the Who's the kid that was jamming the ball the other day
- 1:19:13and doing like Tomahawks with Saquon Barkley?
- 1:19:16Cooper de Jean. Cooper de Jean man, he was doing
- 1:19:19like Tomahawks and. Everybody knew when he fell to
- 1:19:22the second round and then they went and got him.
- 1:19:24It was going to be a guy who made one of the game breaking
- 1:19:27plays in the Super Bowl like I. Already did on his birthday and
- 1:19:31say Kwan's birthday. Unbelievable dude, he's doing
- 1:19:33Tomahawks on a 10 foot basketball hoop.
- 1:19:36Okay, so. Apparently his brothers pretty
- 1:19:38good too. Is is pretty unbelievable.
- 1:19:41He's a great athlete and if he stays healthy, this team could
- 1:19:44win back-to-back championships as they're expected to be even
- 1:19:48better this year, this coming year than they were last year.
- 1:19:51So crazy. Jayla Hart is here and.
- 1:19:52They're going to go get Hendrickson.
- 1:19:55I've been hearing that, too. I've been hearing that, too.
- 1:19:57That'll be scary if they get him.
- 1:19:59But. But that just tells you why the
- 1:20:01Bengals are a stupid organization anyways.
- 1:20:03Henderson. Yeah.
- 1:20:04Well, yeah. Trey Henderson going to the the
- 1:20:07Eagles like they need a bag of riches.
- 1:20:09They got enough. They're on that defensive line,
- 1:20:11which is the best in football right now, so makes no sense.
- 1:20:15But guess what? Hendrickson wants a bunch of
- 1:20:17championship and he's not going to win it with the Bengals with
- 1:20:19that defense. Anyways, that's it for a show.
- 1:20:22We'll be back on Thursday. Who do we have on?
- 1:20:24All right, returning to the show, first time in a while for
- 1:20:27him, Tobin Anderson returning to the show at the time we had him
- 1:20:29on, he was the Iona head coach, infamously won the as a 16 seat
- 1:20:33with fairly Dickinson. We've had a few of their players
- 1:20:35on the show as well. And now he's actually the
- 1:20:37assistant coach at USF after Iona, as I mentioned in my
- 1:20:41previous What smell strangely fired him, but he's now a
- 1:20:44special assistant to the head coach at USF.
- 1:20:46And by the way, I, I just got a text message that we should be
- 1:20:49getting in the next couple of weeks, Tyler McGill on the show.
- 1:20:52So that's something, you know, Peterson didn't work out,
- 1:20:57unfortunately, but a boy, Mr. Agent himself hooked us up.
- 1:21:01He got, he went, he went to a signing autograph thing and he
- 1:21:05talked to Tyler. And Tyler says he would love to
- 1:21:06come on the show. So be fun to get Tyler on the
- 1:21:08show and hear what he has to say about the New York Mets and
- 1:21:11their pitching staff, which is pitched very, very well this
- 1:21:14year. So we'll see. 2.81 team ERM.
- 1:21:16Stop it, stop jerking off or something.
- 1:21:18Whatever the hell you're doing is stop.
- 1:21:20Lonzo is hitting 244 when he gets already.
- 1:21:21Complained about him. Earlier, all right.
- 1:21:23I'm just saying $768 million of waste dog shit that could.
- 1:21:27Have been wasted on worst pictures.
- 1:21:29That's true. I mean the Yankees got 3 for
- 1:21:31the. Price of one wait, we tried that
- 1:21:32already with Max Scherzer and Justin Verley.
- 1:21:34We. Got to go, OK, People got to go
- 1:21:35to bed. People got to go to sleep.
- 1:21:37Anyways, thank you to all the fans.
- 1:21:39Keep listening to us, TuneIn, we're on Blue Wire.
- 1:21:42Check us out on Blue Wire. And enjoy sweet dreams and go
- 1:21:46suck it. You know what?

- 1:21:50radio network. This makes my pecker hard.
