- 0:00Speaker 1: God said, if you'd stop approaching me as if I'm
- 0:03Speaker 1: a police officer about to arrest you when you go
- 0:07Speaker 1: over the speed limit and we could move beyond the
- 0:09Speaker 1: negativity to the positivity. If you get positive and get
- 0:13Speaker 1: this right, you won't break the law. Not because I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: going to arrest you, but because you so love me.
- 0:20Speaker 1: He said, I want you to stop focusing on what
- 0:23Speaker 1: you got wrong and get lost in what you get right.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I want you to love me. with all your heart,
- 0:31Speaker 1: all your mind, all your soul. Greetings in the name
- 0:42Speaker 1: of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I must explain
- 0:45Speaker 1: to you what I'm about to share with you. I
- 0:47Speaker 1: started teaching on something that you hardly hear anybody teaching
- 0:50Speaker 1: about in the church today. I don't know why. I
- 0:53Speaker 1: started teaching on love. And I'm going to share it
- 0:56Speaker 1: with you because it really transformed our churches. I believe
- 0:59Speaker 1: it will transform your life, perhaps your marriage, your relationships,
- 1:03Speaker 1: your walk with God. This series is called The Love Letter.
- 1:07Speaker 1: As we go into the Word of God today, I
- 1:09Speaker 1: believe this word, this series, is absolutely going to be life-changing.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Are you ready? Let's talk about love. At least 50%
- 1:19Speaker 1: of the wars that have been fought in the world
- 1:21Speaker 1: have been fought by religious people over religion and how
- 1:27Speaker 1: they perceive God. Jesus received more persecution through religious people
- 1:32Speaker 1: than he did anybody else. In our text, he is
- 1:36Speaker 1: under this kind of scrutiny as he is trying to
- 1:41Speaker 1: teach and minister. There comes in the crowd a lawyer.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And somebody said, uh-oh. And the lawyer begins to drill
- 1:52Speaker 1: him about his philosophy about theology. I'm going to teach something,
- 2:00Speaker 1: hopefully this morning, that if I can get it in you,
- 2:03Speaker 1: it's going to give you a whole different perspective, not
- 2:05Speaker 1: only on this scripture, but on the scriptures that come
- 2:07Speaker 1: after it, which are much more common. So the lawyer
- 2:11Speaker 1: says to him, you know, what are the laws? What
- 2:15Speaker 1: are the greatest laws? Jesus said, read it for yourself.
- 2:17Speaker 1: So he takes up the Torah and he starts reading it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: And he says, you know, that you love the Lord
- 2:22Speaker 1: thy God with all thy heart, thy mind, thy soul,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and all thy spirit. And that you love your neighbor
- 2:26Speaker 1: as yourself. He's absolutely right. Later in the scriptures you
- 2:29Speaker 1: will see where Jesus said these two are the greatest commandments.
- 2:32Speaker 1: They embody everything. Everything. Everything. Are comprised in two commandments.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Let's stop right there. Can I have your head this morning?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Got your head? Okay. Let's stop right there. Jesus says
- 2:45Speaker 1: that these two commandments encapsule all of the others. So
- 2:50Speaker 1: if we get these two right, we get credit for
- 2:53Speaker 1: the whole test. Amen. Now that's a pretty good deal.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Now you know you're getting ready for end of the
- 3:02Speaker 1: year exam and the teacher says, I got 175 questions.
- 3:07Speaker 1: But if you get these two right, you get the
- 3:09Speaker 1: credit for the 175. Is that a pretty good deal?
- 3:13Speaker 1: You backed up 12 payments on your house note. They're
- 3:15Speaker 1: getting ready to possess the car, take the house from you.
- 3:18Speaker 1: They say, but if you make two payments, you don't
- 3:21Speaker 1: have to make the other 10. Is that a pretty
- 3:23Speaker 1: good deal? That's what is being said here. If you
- 3:26Speaker 1: get these two things right, everything else is pretty cool.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Not because I overlooked the others, but these encapsule the
- 3:35Speaker 1: premise through which all the others are talking about. You
- 3:39Speaker 1: with me? So what are they? We got to get
- 3:41Speaker 1: these two right. Tell somebody, we got to get these
- 3:43Speaker 1: two right. He says, number one, that you love the
- 3:48Speaker 1: Lord thy God. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait
- 3:51Speaker 1: a minute. You mean after all these ceremonial washings and
- 3:54Speaker 1: cleansings and feasts of weeks and feasts of unleavened bread,
- 3:56Speaker 1: what I can wear and what I can't wear, what
- 3:59Speaker 1: I can go, how far I can travel on the
- 4:01Speaker 1: Sabbath day, who I can, what I can build, what
- 4:03Speaker 1: I can buy, what I can't covet of my neighbor.
- 4:06Speaker 1: All of the descriptions, the criterias that bring about righteousness
- 4:09Speaker 1: in the scripture. And the first most important thing to
- 4:13Speaker 1: God is that you love him. Whether you washed your
- 4:20Speaker 1: hands or not, or whether you bowed prostrate or not,
- 4:23Speaker 1: or whether you mixed fabrics or not, or whether you
- 4:25Speaker 1: did everything right or not, God says above everything else,
- 4:29Speaker 1: the most important thing to me is that you love
- 4:32Speaker 1: the Lord thy God with all thy heart, not part
- 4:34Speaker 1: of it, with all thy mind, with all thy soul,
- 4:37Speaker 1: with all thy understanding. That's cool. That's something. I did
- 4:42Speaker 1: not know that love was that important. Nor are we
- 4:50Speaker 1: often taught that love can be legislated. God commands us
- 5:00Speaker 1: to love him. He doesn't beat around the bush. I
- 5:04Speaker 1: wish I could do that. I command you to love me.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Wouldn't that be cool? Look at somebody and say, I
- 5:10Speaker 1: command you to love me. God says, I command you.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Wouldn't that fix some marriages? That would fix some marriages
- 5:18Speaker 1: right now. Wouldn't that solve some problems in the house
- 5:21Speaker 1: right now? Wouldn't that change parents and children's relationship right now?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Wouldn't that fix you and your sister right now? If
- 5:29Speaker 1: you could just command it. Wouldn't you go to work
- 5:31Speaker 1: Monday morning and walk in the office and slam down
- 5:33Speaker 1: your book and say, I command you to love me.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Wouldn't that be wonderful? That's what God does. He commands
- 5:40Speaker 1: us to love him. But he's specific. He says, with
- 5:43Speaker 1: all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind,
- 5:46Speaker 1: with all your understanding, I want you to love me.
- 5:49Speaker 1: He said, that's the most important thing. Well, Lord, I
- 5:52Speaker 1: worked over and I ran into the Sabbath. He said,
- 5:55Speaker 1: love me. That's the most important thing. Lord, I haven't
- 5:59Speaker 1: always done right. I've made some mistakes. I've had some sin.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I've had some weakness in my life. He said, look,
- 6:03Speaker 1: don't focus on what's wrong with you. In a world
- 6:08Speaker 1: of thou shalt nots, the priority is on a thou shalt. Oh,
- 6:15Speaker 1: y'all don't hear what I'm saying. Y'all not ready for
- 6:17Speaker 1: me today. Let me just go churchy and get out
- 6:19Speaker 1: of here. In a world full of thou shalt nots,
- 6:24Speaker 1: the priority is on a thou shalt. Because God says
- 6:28Speaker 1: if you get the shall right, I don't have to
- 6:30Speaker 1: worry about the shall nots. I'm slipping a Mickey in
- 6:36Speaker 1: on you right now. I'm feeding you intravenously. You don't
- 6:40Speaker 1: even understand it, but it's coming to you. God said,
- 6:43Speaker 1: if you'd stop approaching me as if I'm a police
- 6:46Speaker 1: officer about to arrest you when you go over the
- 6:50Speaker 1: speed limit and we could move beyond the negativity to
- 6:53Speaker 1: the positivity, if you get positive and get this right,
- 6:56Speaker 1: you won't break the law, not because I'm going to
- 7:00Speaker 1: arrest you, but because you so love me He said,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I want you to stop focusing on what you got
- 7:06Speaker 1: wrong and get lost in what you get right. I
- 7:10Speaker 1: want you to love me with all your heart, all
- 7:13Speaker 1: your mind, all your soul. In other words, if God
- 7:19Speaker 1: were a woman, he would be saying to me, I
- 7:22Speaker 1: don't want you to focus on not cheating on me.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I want you to focus on loving me. I want
- 7:27Speaker 1: you to focus on loving me with all your heart, mind,
- 7:29Speaker 1: and soul. Well, it sounds like she's just a weak woman,
- 7:32Speaker 1: but no, she's a really smart woman because the woman
- 7:33Speaker 1: knows that if you master loving me with all your heart, mind,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and soul, I don't have to tell you not to
- 7:38Speaker 1: cheat because you're going to get lost. I'm just using
- 7:42Speaker 1: these as metaphors, similes, comparisons to make you understand it. Oh, God.
- 7:54Speaker 1: So love becomes, epitomizes what the commandments are lined out
- 8:02Speaker 1: to talk about. He says, I want the priority to
- 8:05Speaker 1: be loving me with everything. Oh, I wish I had
- 8:10Speaker 1: time to really work this. Oh, look at what a
- 8:13Speaker 1: big command that is. Have you ever loved anything, anyone,
- 8:18Speaker 1: including God with your all? All your heart, all your mind,
- 8:25Speaker 1: all your soul, all your understanding. You know how you've
- 8:28Speaker 1: been loving people, but you got like... I love you, but...
- 8:37Speaker 1: You know, I love you to a point, but if
- 8:41Speaker 1: you push me... You know, you got brakes. You know,
- 8:49Speaker 1: in a car, you got brakes, and then you got
- 8:51Speaker 1: the emergency brakes. And I fall in love, but I
- 8:54Speaker 1: got breaks. And then I got the emergency breaks where
- 8:59Speaker 1: you really done got crazy and I have to pull up.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I'm the only one. Y'all pray for me. I'm the
- 9:07Speaker 1: only one in the whole church that got emergency breaks.
- 9:09Speaker 1: It may take me all night to pull it up,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but if you leave me alone in a room by
- 9:14Speaker 1: myself for 24 hours by morning, I will pull the
- 9:18Speaker 1: emergency break. You will know it because you will smell
- 9:21Speaker 1: burning rubber. That means you are taking me somewhere that
- 9:27Speaker 1: I don't want to go and I've decided that the
- 9:30Speaker 1: return is not as great as the investment. I'm out.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That's me. Pray for me. God says, I challenge you
- 9:44Speaker 1: to discover 100% love. Before you die, to know what
- 9:52Speaker 1: it is To give all of yourself. That right there
- 9:59Speaker 1: is a sign. Can you imagine what we might discover
- 10:07Speaker 1: through all? I give up everything to follow you. You
- 10:14Speaker 1: wouldn't give up a ham sandwich at 11 o'clock at night.
- 10:18Speaker 1: But God says, I'm not going to bother you. Love
- 10:21Speaker 1: the Lord thy God with all our heart and all
- 10:23Speaker 1: our mind and all our soul. And then he says,
- 10:26Speaker 1: the second commandment is that you love your neighbor as yourself.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Still to come on The Potter's Touch. He legislates love.
- 10:39Speaker 1: He commands you to love. Oh, I could spend all day.
- 10:44Speaker 1: If you command me to do something, that means I
- 10:47Speaker 1: can do it. Because it wouldn't be fair for you
- 10:51Speaker 1: to command me to do something I can't do. I
- 10:54Speaker 1: command you to be a white man with blonde hair
- 10:56Speaker 1: and blue eyes. Come on, Lord. You know, the love
- 12:07Speaker 1: of God constrains us. If you don't have the love
- 12:10Speaker 1: of God, you'll go anywhere, do anything. You can just
- 12:12Speaker 1: be anybody. But when you have love for God and
- 12:16Speaker 1: the love of God, it constrains us. There's no way
- 12:19Speaker 1: you can get out of it. Ultimately, no matter what
- 12:22Speaker 1: your moods or feelings or attitudes may be, love will
- 12:25Speaker 1: always ground you and pull you back in the fold.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So many people show their Christianity by how they dance
- 12:31Speaker 1: or shout or speak in tongues or lay out on
- 12:33Speaker 1: the floor. But if you do all of that and
- 12:35Speaker 1: have not loved Paul said you're nothing. I think he's right.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and
- 12:43Speaker 1: all thy mind and all thy soul. And then he
- 12:46Speaker 1: says the second commandment is that you love your neighbor
- 12:52Speaker 1: as yourself. So I don't have to say thou shalt
- 12:54Speaker 1: not steal. Because if you love me like you love you,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you wouldn't steal from me because you love me too
- 13:01Speaker 1: much to treat me like you treat me. Imagine how
- 13:05Speaker 1: your personal relationships would change if you loved the people
- 13:10Speaker 1: in your life like you love yourself. Wouldn't that be amazing?
- 13:21Speaker 1: If you were as forgiving of them as you are
- 13:25Speaker 1: of you. Isn't it funny how people who need forgiveness...
- 13:34Speaker 1: don't give it. Isn't it funny how people can need
- 13:40Speaker 1: you to understand their quirks, but they are unwilling to
- 13:43Speaker 1: understand yours. They want you to, isn't it funny how
- 13:49Speaker 1: people who want tolerance don't tolerate you. If you're going
- 13:56Speaker 1: to ask me to tolerate you, then it's demonstrated by
- 14:00Speaker 1: tolerating me. I can accept you being different, but you
- 14:05Speaker 1: can't seem to understand. The reality is we always want
- 14:12Speaker 1: to get more than we're willing to give. So this
- 14:16Speaker 1: second scripture obliterates selfishness. You can't be selfish if you
- 14:24Speaker 1: love your neighbor as you love yourself. You can't do it.
- 14:31Speaker 1: A lady said to, was talking about my daughter's 20
- 14:36Speaker 1: some years old. And she said, oh, you're old enough
- 14:39Speaker 1: now to find out that your parents aren't stupid. That
- 14:44Speaker 1: hits you like in your 20s. Some people it doesn't
- 14:46Speaker 1: hit them until 40s, but if you're lucky, it'll lay
- 14:49Speaker 1: in about 20. Daddy didn't go to work because he
- 14:51Speaker 1: hated me. He was trying to pay the rent. You know,
- 14:55Speaker 1: mama wasn't wrong about that. Boy, he is crazy. You
- 14:58Speaker 1: start finding out that experience does give you some sense.
- 15:01Speaker 1: It takes a while. In your teen years, you're almost
- 15:04Speaker 1: supposed to be selfish. You have to understand that because
- 15:07Speaker 1: the teen is trying to separate from the womb of
- 15:10Speaker 1: parenthood and find out who they are. And in the
- 15:13Speaker 1: process of identifying who they are and what they want
- 15:15Speaker 1: to do, they inadvertently become selfish because they're trying to
- 15:19Speaker 1: find themselves. I got to be me. I got to
- 15:21Speaker 1: be me. You're going to let me be myself. All
- 15:23Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. I'm glad I'm done with that.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So maturity is supposed to make you less selfish. But
- 15:33Speaker 1: some people got stuck. And they never love anybody nowhere
- 15:43Speaker 1: close like you love yourself. I've said this before and
- 15:46Speaker 1: I'll say it again. It seems to have impact. It's
- 15:48Speaker 1: based on my perspectives in life. For 35 years of
- 15:52Speaker 1: ministering and counseling people, I have never met a man
- 15:56Speaker 1: who beat his wife and liked himself. Never. In 37 years.
- 16:04Speaker 1: The Bible says love her as your own body. But
- 16:09Speaker 1: if you don't love you, then it's easier to beat
- 16:12Speaker 1: her Because you're really angry and guilty about you. And
- 16:17Speaker 1: so if you're going to break through the bondage, you
- 16:20Speaker 1: have to learn how to love yourself. Because people who
- 16:23Speaker 1: love themselves are much easier to love and easier to
- 16:27Speaker 1: be around than people who don't like them. Oh, I
- 16:29Speaker 1: don't have time to get lost in that. That's not
- 16:31Speaker 1: my point. You understand what I'm saying? When you feel
- 16:34Speaker 1: good about you, whatever. Come here for a minute. Come
- 16:37Speaker 1: here for a minute. Come on in. Come on in.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Come in. Come in. Now, whatever's going on with me,
- 16:42Speaker 1: whatever cologne I got on, whether I'm sweaty, whatever's happening
- 16:45Speaker 1: with me, when you came into my circle, you got
- 16:48Speaker 1: drawn into it. If I'm swinging, you got drawn into
- 16:52Speaker 1: a punch. If I'm loving, you got drawn into love.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Whatever's up with me, when you come into my circle,
- 16:59Speaker 1: you become connected to it. So if I was crazy
- 17:02Speaker 1: before you walked up here... You understand what I'm saying? Now,
- 17:10Speaker 1: if I am a self-hater, guilty, complex, insecurity, and you
- 17:15Speaker 1: come up and get connected in that, and now you
- 17:18Speaker 1: are my body, the fight that I was having with me,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I now get to have on you. So the healthiest
- 17:29Speaker 1: people to love are people who love themselves. So the
- 17:36Speaker 1: second commandment, Jesus says, these are the two priorities, loving
- 17:41Speaker 1: God and loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Wow. Now,
- 17:51Speaker 1: let's look at this. This is kind of, let me
- 17:54Speaker 1: be honest with you. I probably shouldn't be preaching this
- 17:56Speaker 1: morning because I'm really presenting an unfinished chair before you
- 18:00Speaker 1: because he's still talking to me about this, but I'm
- 18:02Speaker 1: going to let you eavesdrop on the conversation. Because how
- 18:10Speaker 1: this relates to the elephant room and everything else is
- 18:13Speaker 1: what are your priorities? What are the core values through
- 18:17Speaker 1: which you let people in? Or God in? Or anybody in?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Is it if you make a certain amount of money? Oh,
- 18:25Speaker 1: we can't fool with you. If you're a Democrat. If
- 18:28Speaker 1: you're a Republican. Who did you vote for? What do
- 18:34Speaker 1: you believe about the Godhead? How are you baptized? Do
- 18:37Speaker 1: you wear pants? See, we can examine people today. What
- 18:44Speaker 1: are your priorities? God says that you love the Lord
- 18:48Speaker 1: thy God with all thy heart and mind and that
- 18:50Speaker 1: you love thy neighbor as you love yourself. I want
- 18:54Speaker 1: to go deeper. He legislates love. He commands you to love. Oh,
- 19:03Speaker 1: I could spend all day If you command me to
- 19:06Speaker 1: do something, that means I can do it. Because it
- 19:11Speaker 1: wouldn't be fair for you to command me to do
- 19:13Speaker 1: something I can't do. I command you to be a
- 19:16Speaker 1: white man with blonde hair and blue eyes. Come on, Lord.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I can scrub and scrub and scrub. If I had time,
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'd tell you a joke. But they might have to
- 19:40Speaker 1: edit it. A little kid up in the hill in
- 19:42Speaker 1: West Virginia saw me. He hadn't seen nobody in my
- 19:46Speaker 1: color in his life. And he looked at me he said, mister, mister,
- 19:51Speaker 1: hi mister. I finally turned around, he said, are you
- 19:54Speaker 1: like that all over? I said, everywhere I could see
- 20:00Speaker 1: and everywhere I could get to mirror the point, it
- 20:03Speaker 1: seems to be a 100% total job. Okay, I'm back
- 20:09Speaker 1: on track. Okay. You take that home with you. That
- 20:12Speaker 1: don't cost you nothing. It's one of my little crazy
- 20:14Speaker 1: little stories happened to me when I was going along.
- 20:18Speaker 1: If he commands me to do it, it must be
- 20:22Speaker 1: within my power to accomplish it. Because it wouldn't be
- 20:26Speaker 1: just to command me to do something that I cannot do.
- 20:30Speaker 1: So that means that love is controllable. wow that opens
- 20:38Speaker 1: up a whole another village over there because he commanded
- 20:41Speaker 1: he legislated love love me he said this is how
- 20:44Speaker 1: you love me what I like about God God tells
- 20:46Speaker 1: you how to love him no guessing most people want
- 20:50Speaker 1: you to guess how to love God comes right love
- 20:52Speaker 1: me with everything all your heart want all your mind
- 20:55Speaker 1: all your soul ain't core about it this is how
- 20:57Speaker 1: I want you to love me he tells you straight
- 20:59Speaker 1: up and then he says I want you to love
- 21:02Speaker 1: your neighbor as you love yourself Now, if God now
- 21:07Speaker 1: legislates love, then love now has indicted the lawyer. Love
- 21:15Speaker 1: has brought an indictment against the lawyer predicated on the
- 21:19Speaker 1: concept that he's guilty. Probably of never loving the Lord
- 21:26Speaker 1: thy God with all thy heart, thy mind, and soul.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But at a very minimum, he is guilty of not
- 21:31Speaker 1: loving his neighbor as himself. And this is how I know.
- 21:35Speaker 1: He's looking for a loophole. And anytime you look for
- 21:41Speaker 1: a loophole, it's because you are guilty. Watch this, watch this,
- 21:50Speaker 1: watch this. Y'all doing okay? Y'all good? Y'all good? Okay,
- 21:53Speaker 1: watch this. He says, the Lord who is love made
- 21:58Speaker 1: flesh says, love the Lord thy God with all thy
- 22:01Speaker 1: heart and mind and soul. Love thy neighbor as thyself.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And then the lawyer says to the Lord, who is
- 22:09Speaker 1: my neighbor? That's the loophole. He says, you know, what
- 22:14Speaker 1: do you believe? What do you wear? What is your theology?
- 22:19Speaker 1: I don't know whether I'm gonna love you or not
- 22:21Speaker 1: till I find out who is my neighbor. So this
- 22:25Speaker 1: is supposed to be smart. What he is saying is,
- 22:27Speaker 1: do I determine by who lives next door to me?
- 22:29Speaker 1: Do I determine by my ethnicity? Do I determine by
- 22:32Speaker 1: my politics? Do I determine by my orthodoxy? Who is
- 22:38Speaker 1: my neighbor? Okay, y'all with me? If you don't understand that,
- 22:45Speaker 1: then you have never understood the story of the Good Samaritan.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Because the story of the Good Samaritan is Jesus' answer
- 22:54Speaker 1: to the lawyer's loophole. Jesus looks at him. Watch this, y'all.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Watch this. I'm going to tell you this. I'll be gone.
- 23:05Speaker 1: He says, who is my neighbor? And Jesus doesn't even
- 23:10Speaker 1: answer him. He says, a certain man. Jesus is so cool.
- 23:15Speaker 1: He's so cool. He's so cool. Jesus says, a certain
- 23:21Speaker 1: man went down from Jerusalem. The very fact that he
- 23:25Speaker 1: said he went down from Jerusalem says he's a Jew.
- 23:29Speaker 1: To Jericho. And he says, he fell amongst thieves who
- 23:36Speaker 1: stripped him and wounded him and left him half dead.
- 23:41Speaker 1: He says... A Levite passed by and saw him. Levite,
- 23:48Speaker 1: Levitical priesthood. Your pastors. Your religious orthodoxy. Those that epitomize
- 24:00Speaker 1: the sacraments of your faith. The tenants, the one who
- 24:04Speaker 1: handled the theology for you. Passed by, looked at him
- 24:10Speaker 1: and turned and went away. You mean this guy who
- 24:18Speaker 1: the lawyer would perceive to be an okay neighbor didn't
- 24:24Speaker 1: help him? Let me break this down where it becomes
- 24:30Speaker 1: relevant to you. Have you ever been shocked when you
- 24:32Speaker 1: were in trouble at who didn't help you? The person
- 24:39Speaker 1: that you thought for sure that you knew would be
- 24:42Speaker 1: your ride or die? Ride or die is an African-American
- 24:47Speaker 1: colloquial that means like total commitment. It just means to
- 24:57Speaker 1: be totally committed. Now, that's enough about that. So, okay.
- 25:01Speaker 1: And you find out that when the heat is on,
- 25:05Speaker 1: the brother who said he would always be there for you,
- 25:09Speaker 1: act like he don't even know you, looks at your
- 25:13Speaker 1: predicament and crosses by on the other side. Hey, stay
- 25:19Speaker 1: right where you are. We'll be right back after this.
- 26:23Speaker 1: There are so many pastors who feel left behind. They
- 26:26Speaker 1: feel frustrated. They feel like, I know God called me.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I know I'm anointed. Why am I stuck? My thing
- 26:32Speaker 1: this year is no church left behind. God didn't start
- 26:36Speaker 1: you for you to get stuck in a quagmire of
- 26:38Speaker 1: pet religion. I want to show you how to break free.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I want to teach practical, pragmatic stuff. The things that
- 26:44Speaker 1: people do not tell you. I'm ready to pass the torch.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Will you catch it? Come now to the Pastors in
- 26:51Speaker 1: Leadership Conference. It's coming your way. Get ready, get ready,
- 26:54Speaker 1: get ready. I am so excited to be able to
- 26:57Speaker 1: offer something for your entire family. Yes, woman got loose
- 27:01Speaker 1: and man power going to converge in the city of
- 27:04Speaker 1: Dallas at the same time. But not only that, we
- 27:07Speaker 1: are planning all kinds of activities for your children, for
- 27:10Speaker 1: your grandchildren, activities for your family. Come to Dallas, Texas.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Megafest is going to be absolutely awesome where you can
- 27:18Speaker 1: have good time. I gotta be bigger than this I
- 27:25Speaker 1: gotta get out of this cage I gotta stop looking
- 27:28Speaker 1: for loopholes to justify my own foolishness I gotta stop
- 27:34Speaker 1: looking for loopholes to justify my own selfishness I gotta
- 27:38Speaker 1: stop looking for loopholes to get me out of what
- 27:42Speaker 1: God commanded me to do my soul says yes my
- 27:47Speaker 1: mind says yes I know I'm a better woman than this.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I know I'm a better man than this. Created me
- 27:53Speaker 1: a clean heart. Renew a right spirit. Listen, we're coming
- 27:59Speaker 1: to a close. We're going to continue this. We're going
- 28:01Speaker 1: to go deeper into it. It's really a huge subject.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Love has no loopholes. I pray that it blesses you
- 28:08Speaker 1: and challenges you. Maybe even change you a little bit.
- 28:11Speaker 1: It's okay to change, you know. It's okay to change.
- 28:14Speaker 1: May God bless you. May heaven smile upon you. We're
