- 0:14Speaker 3: are good?
- 0:15Speaker 1: Well, you know, I went to doctor Diamond and he lowered.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Oh my god, so now they're like more even it
- 0:20Speaker 2: finally settled in.
- 0:21Speaker 3: I love it.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and I also really love my chin.
- 0:23Speaker 4: I think I'm going to get that like minimal, minimally
- 0:26Speaker 4: invasive facelift or yeah, I think.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm going to do it. I just don't know.
- 0:31Speaker 4: When it's only five five days downtime, that's nothing.
- 0:34Speaker 1: But the chin was a game changer.
- 0:35Speaker 4: I look way less turtally, still turtally, but like a
- 0:38Speaker 4: turtle with a chin job.
- 0:40Speaker 3: You are the most beautiful turtle I've ever seen.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I frecking love you. Yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 3: We're in San Francisco, right or is this yeah?
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure.
- 0:48Speaker 4: I flew into Oakland, then I drove to Lafayette. I know,
- 0:52Speaker 4: I'm a little I'm sure where I am Bottle Rocks
- 0:55Speaker 4: and Napa.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I don't know the Bay area, but I freaking love
- 0:57Speaker 3: it here.
- 0:58Speaker 1: So it's a vibe. It is a vibe and we've
- 1:00Speaker 1: been here.
- 1:01Speaker 4: The last time we were here in this exact same
- 1:03Speaker 4: studio was for the Super Bowl. I like the Bay Area,
- 1:08Speaker 4: especially because I love macdray, which we talked about whoever
- 1:13Speaker 4: like lives or grew up in the Bay Nos. Macdre
- 1:16Speaker 4: my high school boyfriend was obsessed with him. So anytime
- 1:20Speaker 4: I fly into Oakland, I'm just vibing with a thistle
- 1:23Speaker 4: face on.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something so like, yeah, looking like nineties hip
- 1:26Speaker 2: hop when I think of like the Bay Area. Yeah.
- 1:29Speaker 4: And then my uber driver I was like, it's so
- 1:30Speaker 4: pretty here, and he goes, ugh, it's disgusting. I was like,
- 1:34Speaker 4: I live in LA and he goes, oh, yeah, it's
- 1:36Speaker 4: really nice here.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 1:40Speaker 4: You and I were starting to talk about I texted
- 1:43Speaker 4: you this morning and then called you. I was like,
- 1:44Speaker 4: I'm on my way to the airport and I'm freaking out.
- 1:47Speaker 4: I don't know what it is about packing and traveling
- 1:50Speaker 4: that gives me the most anxiety. You guys are gonna
- 1:53Speaker 4: judge me when someone like a friend is like, we're
- 1:56Speaker 4: going for three weeks to Europe. We're going here, like
- 1:59Speaker 4: most people would be like, oh my god, that sounds fantastic.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Oh you're gonna have the best time. I immediately go
- 2:04Speaker 4: into that sounds awful. I would never want to do that.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Oh my god, how many flights do you have to
- 2:10Speaker 4: get on? You have to pack so much. And then
- 2:12Speaker 4: people who are like, I'm backpacking through Europe, Oh, take
- 2:16Speaker 4: me out on like a sheer panic just at the
- 2:19Speaker 4: thought of it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: How sexy are you?
- 2:22Speaker 3: I just got hot. I keep having hot flashes today.
- 2:24Speaker 3: I don't know what's going on. I like wrote my
- 2:26Speaker 3: doctor say, I'm like, hey, do we get my hormones?
- 2:28Speaker 1: You look fabulous? Really? Oh my god, Oh my god.
- 2:33Speaker 3: That's what ship. Have you been hanging out in Livingston
- 2:36Speaker 3: and Bozeman, Montana? Yeah?
- 2:37Speaker 4: Like your boobs look great, You've got like this.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Wow, okay, are like you know what you actually look like.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Too?
- 2:46Speaker 2: With your cowgirw with your cowgirl boots and your little
- 2:49Speaker 2: French on your jacket.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's you're the lipstick lesbian today.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Oh I'm definitely the elliptical.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Even when I want to be bush, I'm like.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Wow, you're just hot. Anyway.
- 3:03Speaker 4: The reason I was talking about anxiety is because I
- 3:05Speaker 4: told you that with my anxiety, I feel like I
- 3:07Speaker 4: could throw up, and you go really mine comes.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Out the other end.
- 3:10Speaker 4: I was like, Oh, that's interesting. How different are anxiety
- 3:16Speaker 4: manifests and where it decides to come out of.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, well, throwing up for me is like death. I
- 3:22Speaker 3: don't know. I don't know.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But for me, it's just my stomach earth and then
- 3:25Speaker 2: all it's like, oh shit, I need to go to
- 3:27Speaker 2: the bathroom.
- 3:28Speaker 3: I'm anxious.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Once I land and I get situated, all anxiety is gone.
- 3:33Speaker 1: It's just the thought of getting sick.
- 3:35Speaker 4: I know.
- 3:36Speaker 3: It's a mind fuck.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I literally, for forty eight hours, I am a nutcase.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I'm like frantically cleaning my house, like I have people
- 3:45Speaker 2: coming over when I'm the one that's actually being removed
- 3:48Speaker 2: and going away.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Mm hmm. Like I didn't make my bed when I
- 3:51Speaker 4: landed this morning, and I'm in full panic because I'm like,
- 3:54Speaker 4: I cannot come home to an unmade bed. It's gonna
- 3:56Speaker 4: make me feel like my life is unmanageable. Is that normal?
- 4:01Speaker 2: I think it's just when you get older, you want
- 4:04Speaker 2: things to You want to come home to a nice house,
- 4:07Speaker 2: you want a clean house, you want.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I think it's a little deeper than that, amber I
- 4:12Speaker 4: think because I feel all right, all right, I think
- 4:15Speaker 4: because I feel like I have such a little control
- 4:18Speaker 4: in so many areas.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Of my life.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Yes, of course, I hyper fixate on the tiniest things
- 4:25Speaker 4: that I can control.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You know, it's so funny you say that, because prior
- 4:28Speaker 2: to getting sober, my house was always a wreck, like
- 4:32Speaker 2: so disorganized, there was stuff everywhere. As soon as I
- 4:36Speaker 2: got sober, I'll never forget. My best friend was like,
- 4:39Speaker 2: sobriety was the best thing that ever happened to you.
- 4:41Speaker 3: You're fucking I could eat off your floors.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I literally became so hyper fixated on my house being
- 4:47Speaker 2: clean and things being labeled like a psychopath like queen sheets,
- 4:53Speaker 2: pencils for the kids, you know, like not normal but it.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's the stuff that gets me off.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel regulated as a human, Like I'm like,
- 5:02Speaker 2: oh gosh, I can breed now everything is like as
- 5:06Speaker 2: a place, I know where it's at.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Yeah. I, by the way, though, that all sounds amazing
- 5:11Speaker 4: and it most likely is sobriety, But I just think
- 5:13Speaker 4: the virgo in me has always but no, because my
- 5:16Speaker 4: room was always a mess when I was a teenager,
- 5:19Speaker 4: and my mom would have to be like clean your bedroom.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Now I'm the bitch who I had to check myself.
- 5:25Speaker 1: The other day.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Ocean went up to the playroom. I go, I just
- 5:27Speaker 4: cleaned the playroom. You can't play in there. And I
- 5:29Speaker 4: literally stopped and was like, how the fuck does that
- 5:32Speaker 4: make any sense?
- 5:34Speaker 3: You know what I do?
- 5:35Speaker 2: I pick up Riley from school, and she knows on Tuesdays,
- 5:38Speaker 2: well every other Tuesday. She goes, I know the house
- 5:43Speaker 2: keeper just came. Don't make the house a mess. I
- 5:45Speaker 2: was like, ah, yes, you're right, how is school today?
- 5:49Speaker 2: Cause she knows I've become that a little unhinged about
- 5:52Speaker 2: my house being clean. Yeah, which makes me think I
- 5:57Speaker 2: lost a nail okay, because they were really long and
- 6:00Speaker 2: I forgot to pick it up before I left.
- 6:01Speaker 3: So I actually just had a vision of exactly where
- 6:04Speaker 3: their nails are done right now because I got them
- 6:05Speaker 3: done before. Oh okay, it broke and I didn't have
- 6:08Speaker 3: time to vacuum my house.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's disgusting.
- 6:10Speaker 4: And now I'm looping and I got a fucking rogue
- 6:13Speaker 4: fingernail at your house. We need to get on a
- 6:17Speaker 4: plane right now. Someone locate the fucking nail.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Okay, let's talk about bottle Rock for a second. Who
- 6:24Speaker 3: are we excited to see.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Okay, I'm so excited to see do we call them
- 6:31Speaker 4: alex ajaj Alexander Alexander from the Backstreet Boys. And let
- 6:38Speaker 4: me tell you the funniest story. I was on Watch
- 6:40Speaker 4: Rabbins Live with Nick Lache and it was we had
- 6:43Speaker 4: to guess the boy band. Oh my gosh, I love
- 6:45Speaker 4: this okay, And it was just one part of each
- 6:49Speaker 4: of these members of a boy band, and you had
- 6:51Speaker 4: to say, like, is it Nick Lache or is it not?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Okay?
- 6:56Speaker 4: So they show the top of this hat of one
- 6:59Speaker 4: of the guys in the boy band? Is it Nick
- 7:00Speaker 4: or not?
- 7:01Speaker 1: And I go that hat is giving like a J.
- 7:03Speaker 1: McLean vibes.
- 7:05Speaker 4: They cut to the picture it's fucking aj No and
- 7:09Speaker 4: Andy goes, are you sleeping with him?
- 7:13Speaker 1: Are you stalking now? But how wild?
- 7:16Speaker 4: Because his episode aired literally like the next day on
- 7:20Speaker 4: the podcast, I'm like, what are the chances that I
- 7:23Speaker 4: would guess that that hat belonged to aj?
- 7:26Speaker 3: Wow?
- 7:27Speaker 1: I know, I know my belief you do.
- 7:30Speaker 3: He wears a lot of hats.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I love a hat.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Yeah, So that's who I'm most excited for tonight. I
- 7:35Speaker 4: think the main what do they do?
- 7:38Speaker 1: Like main stand chair? The headliner Friday.
- 7:42Speaker 4: We missed it. Lord, Teddy Swims and Lil Wayne were
- 7:44Speaker 4: last night. Today's Foo Fighters, LCD sound System and Z
- 7:50Speaker 4: Busta Rhymes is today though, He'll be good. I want
- 7:53Speaker 4: to see Busta DJ Polly fucking d. Oh my god,
- 7:57Speaker 4: we're gonna have the best with him.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I really want a picture with him. If you see him,
- 8:02Speaker 2: will you ask him for me?
- 8:04Speaker 3: Polly D?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, I'll ask him.
- 8:06Speaker 3: I did watch what is that show was? Oh my god,
- 8:09Speaker 3: Jersey Shore.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Oh, that's that's when reality television. It was like the
- 8:12Speaker 1: greatest of all time.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I fucking love East Coast reality TV show like mob
- 8:16Speaker 2: Wives in my next life the best.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Maybe in this life, I'm going to be a I'm
- 8:21Speaker 3: going to be a mob wife.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I want to be rip oh my gangster Drita. Are
- 8:27Speaker 1: you joking me?
- 8:28Speaker 2: Those girls are so fucking cool, like that is my reality.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Really mean a fur coat and some cool glasses, I'll
- 8:36Speaker 3: be a mob wife.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You could not fucking hang with those girls, baby.
- 8:39Speaker 3: You think they'd eat me alive?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, actually I think they baby you. I think
- 8:43Speaker 1: they would funck shit up for you. Yeah. So these
- 8:45Speaker 1: women are like the daughters of mob bosses. They've seen
- 8:48Speaker 1: some shit, I.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Know, like their dads have put horse heads in people's beds.
- 8:53Speaker 1: They're gangster.
- 8:55Speaker 4: But no, truly the amount of times a day when
- 8:57Speaker 4: it's time for school and I screamed to my children.
- 9:01Speaker 1: In a fucking car. I love poly D.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I love that.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a hit.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Don't you remember no GTL Jim Tan laundry No, Snooky, No,
- 9:13Speaker 4: you don't remember DJ Polyd screaming cabs here No, and
- 9:17Speaker 4: then the duck phone.
- 9:22Speaker 3: It's so good that reality was so good.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Play cabs here?
- 9:26Speaker 4: Okay, the greatest sound of all times A hit? Oh
- 9:32Speaker 4: my god, I just got so turned on. I'm sweating.
- 9:34Speaker 4: I cannot wait. I cannot wait.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Riley really wants to go to Coachella. I don't know
- 9:49Speaker 2: how I feel about that.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Next year.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I would do Stage Coach again with her, but it's like,
- 9:53Speaker 2: so she wants to like walk around, and I'm just
- 9:55Speaker 2: so worried that there's you know, these.
- 9:57Speaker 4: She wants to go solo with, Worried that there's gonna
- 10:00Speaker 4: be these pedophiles.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I'm more worried about it.
- 10:04Speaker 3: I'm a scarred woman.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you and me both.
- 10:07Speaker 4: How do you feel about taking kids to music festivals.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I think it's.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Fine, but it's not like listen, gosh, I think about
- 10:13Speaker 2: like kids that went to Woodstock, right, and they were
- 10:17Speaker 2: like doing crazy drugs. I think, as long as my
- 10:22Speaker 2: children are not sorry, I'm eating a sour patch.
- 10:25Speaker 3: It's finally hard to have a.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Conversation when you're eating a sour patch. I'm also having
- 10:29Speaker 2: a hot flash.
- 10:30Speaker 4: God, please do not project your fucking Perry amenopause on
- 10:36Speaker 4: me or whatever.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It's cause away from me. Harry menopause, Harry menopause. Well
- 10:41Speaker 1: you would know.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Anyways. I I don't.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I feel like I could take Riley there with her friends,
- 10:50Speaker 2: put a tracking device on her, and then like walk around.
- 10:54Speaker 1: This is where I'm at with it.
- 10:55Speaker 4: You want to go to Coachella, babe, let's freaking do
- 10:58Speaker 4: the damn thing. Depending on the age, right, let's do
- 11:01Speaker 4: the damn thing like fourteen fifteen, right, But at that
- 11:04Speaker 4: age they start experimenting. So you have the conversation. Here's
- 11:07Speaker 4: the deal. I know what it's like out there. I
- 11:10Speaker 4: would prefer you not drink. I would prefer you not
- 11:12Speaker 4: do drugs because this is what could happen if there
- 11:16Speaker 4: is a moment that you say I'm curious and I
- 11:18Speaker 4: want to experiment. Let's have a conversation because you're gonna
- 11:21Speaker 4: do it, whether I approve or not.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Let me tell you something the other day.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I know how to handle Ocean now, Like when we
- 11:28Speaker 4: talk about how to handle our children, even me with
- 11:32Speaker 4: my friends, it's like, my parenting style won't work with
- 11:34Speaker 4: your kid because your kid is a different beast than
- 11:36Speaker 4: my kid. Right, so what I'm saying may not work
- 11:39Speaker 4: for other parents. I am starting to see Ocean come
- 11:43Speaker 4: into her own. There were two occasions that this little
- 11:46Speaker 4: shit fucking lied to me over the weekend. All right,
- 11:50Speaker 4: the last time it happened. The second time, I freaking
- 11:52Speaker 4: rolled up on her. I got so fucking lala, you
- 11:57Speaker 4: have no idea. Her eyes were massive. He was just
- 12:00Speaker 4: staring at me, and I go, so, I'm gonna ask
- 12:02Speaker 4: you again, who got the bathroom towel wet? She goes,
- 12:06Speaker 4: I did, I go wonderful. I'm very proud of you
- 12:09Speaker 4: for telling the truth. Did you eat candy when your
- 12:12Speaker 4: mouth was blue the other night? Yes, Mommy, I snut candy. Wonderful.
- 12:16Speaker 4: I wish you would have told me because maybe I
- 12:18Speaker 4: wanted a piece.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I go.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Truth. Tellers don't get in trouble. Liars get their fucking
- 12:26Speaker 1: worlds rocked. I didn't say the F word, but that
- 12:29Speaker 1: was the tone of voice. But I was so proud
- 12:31Speaker 1: of it.
- 12:31Speaker 4: When they get a little older, Oh, when they get older,
- 12:35Speaker 4: mom's going hardcore.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Baby. Yeah. Sometimes it's like, don't fuck.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Listen here, you motherfucker.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Anyway, maybe we'll take them to a music festival. Maybe
- 12:49Speaker 1: we won't. I had a heyday talking to you over.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Welcome to Bottle Rock, where things get fucking wild even
- 12:55Speaker 4: when you're sober.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Cheers, cheers, motherfucker.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I love you, guys.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Thank you for listening to another episode of an Unlikely Affair.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Remember a new episode of An Unlikely Affair airs every
- 13:06Speaker 4: Thursday night at nine pm.
