Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's gave an Angie Cloudy today a high of fifty four.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Even though right now I'd say it looks pretty decent.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I would take this for a vast majority of the day. Here,
- 0:12Speaker 2: I agree. I found out something yesterday that I was
- 0:15Speaker 2: shocked to believe. I'm curious, did you ever learn some
- 0:18Speaker 2: kind of fact that you had to almost double check,
- 0:20Speaker 2: double take, double look up.
- 0:22Speaker 1: You're like, there is no way this is possible, Gabe,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I already know everything. Fair, fair point. I learned yesterday.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Albert Einstein passed away in nineteen fifty five.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah, he was old as dirt.
- 0:43Speaker 3: You didn't see Oppenheimer.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Oh no, I didn't get to that one.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Oh okay, yeah, no he was so you didn't know
- 0:50Speaker 3: until Oppenheimer h true.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Albert Einstein nineteen fifty five, And then I went down
- 0:57Speaker 2: a tiny bit of a rabbit hole here. Pablo Picassa,
- 1:00Speaker 2: take a guess when he passed away.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Oh gosh, I don't know nineteen hundred right, that's exactly
- 1:06Speaker 1: what I would have said. Oh is this wrong? Not
- 1:09Speaker 1: We're not even close.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Pablo Picasso lived until nineteen seventy three. Pablo saw the
- 1:15Speaker 2: United States land on the moon.
- 1:17Speaker 1: What right, Pablo was still alive when my mom was born,
- 1:21Speaker 1: right exactly? That's crazy. I wonder if that's You.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Know, when you're young, you kind of learned about painters
- 1:27Speaker 2: and they sort of lump them all together.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Okay, that has to be it, because I learned about
- 1:31Speaker 3: what van Velo at Picasso and the Ninja Turtles, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donna, Tello, Raphael,
- 1:40Speaker 3: and they all were born and died a long time
- 1:44Speaker 3: agoime ago. They just threw Piasso in there to throw
- 1:47Speaker 3: us off.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Exactly, he just got his name tossed in the old bucket.
- 1:50Speaker 1: That one blew my mind. Yeah, I was.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Shocked by that, and so I was curious, has that
- 1:54Speaker 2: ever happened to you? This is on Facebook? Is there
- 1:57Speaker 2: some kind of scientific fact that you learn? And you
- 2:00Speaker 2: were like, there is no way.
- 2:02Speaker 1: We got some good ones on Facebook?
- 2:04Speaker 3: Chris said, coriander and cilantro are the same plants?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Really do you know that? I don't know what coriander is.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I don't know what coriander looks like, but apparently coriander
- 2:17Speaker 3: and cilantro are the same plants. So when you get
- 2:19Speaker 3: like from Chipotle, the cilantro lime rise. It could be the.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Coriander lime rise. Wow, what is the difference?
- 2:27Speaker 4: Uh?
- 2:27Speaker 3: Travis said, Oh, that Bluey is a girl. My kids
- 2:31Speaker 3: just realized that yesterday.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Wow. Yeah, I didn't know that either Bluey's a girl and.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Blue you know with babies, that's like blue for boy,
- 2:40Speaker 2: pink for girl.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Right, I think that's where I got that.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Probably, Yeah, that's probably why everyone's confused. Kimberly said that
- 2:47Speaker 3: pickles are cucumbers. Okay, I learned that in elementary school.
- 2:51Speaker 3: But I could see that. I could see.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Why are there that sounded so rude?
- 2:58Speaker 3: No, I didn't. I'm saying, like, I can see why
- 3:01Speaker 3: that if no one ever said it to you, why
- 3:03Speaker 3: would you just know what that is?
- 3:05Speaker 1: You short have lied and said, like college not elements.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I'm just saying, because when you pickle, how come cucumbers
- 3:11Speaker 3: get the word pickled just to mean the same thing.
- 3:13Speaker 3: But you pickle all kinds of other things, pickled carrots,
- 3:16Speaker 3: pickled beets. How come cucumbers just got to be pickled?
- 3:19Speaker 1: So I get it. I'm saying, I'm on Kimberly's side, Okay.
- 3:22Speaker 3: And then this is my favorite. Ashley said that sometimes
- 3:26Speaker 3: I'm the problem the audacity, same girl.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I start my day.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Today's arriety big, ninety eight point seven, cloudy this afternoon
- 3:38Speaker 2: of the high of fifty four.
- 3:39Speaker 1: We might get lucky though the sun is out. It
- 3:40Speaker 1: does look pretty nice.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And the other day I found out Albert Einstein passed
- 3:45Speaker 2: away in nineteen fifty five, which was shocking to me.
- 3:49Speaker 1: O your mind.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I had to double check that information via Google. But
- 3:53Speaker 2: it turns out I'm not the only one. Chantilla messaged
- 3:56Speaker 2: me and she said, are you talking about Albert Einstein?
- 3:59Speaker 2: This was about ten minutes ago, and I was like, yes,
- 4:02Speaker 2: and she said, I knew it. When I learned that,
- 4:05Speaker 2: my mind was blown.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I love that. I love that we're just excited about
- 4:09Speaker 3: learning at our big ages.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I would have bet my left foot Albert Einstein was
- 4:16Speaker 2: like an eighteen hundred's Goat's all right? Let us know
- 4:19Speaker 2: seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Is there a scientific fact you learned that blew your mind?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Ryan? What's up?
- 4:26Speaker 2: I can't believe we can never travel faster than the
- 4:29Speaker 2: speed of light.
- 4:29Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Why we can't.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I know it's insanely fast, but I.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Thought, like in one hundred years we might have figured
- 4:37Speaker 4: the technology out, but I guess not.
- 4:41Speaker 3: We still can't. We can get on a Blue Origin
- 4:44Speaker 3: space flight and touch space, but we can't go faster
- 4:47Speaker 3: than the speed.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Of place ever been in a Formula F one car.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Those are pretty ten fast. Do we need to go
- 4:53Speaker 2: faster than that?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Probably not, I don't know. We also have Emily on
- 4:57Speaker 1: the phone.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Emily technically glowing all the time, like the humans admit
- 5:03Speaker 4: a tiny amount of visible life, but it's a thousand
- 5:06Speaker 4: times weaker than our eyes can intact like we have
- 5:09Speaker 4: the secret bioluminescence, and no one told me, like wild.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I love that, So the next time I feel like
- 5:19Speaker 3: I'm glowing, I'll be like, oh, that's just my bioluminescence.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Terry's Roiety, Big ninety eight point seven. It's Gabe and Angie.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Mostly cloudy today with a high of fifty four, even
- 5:31Speaker 2: though I do see little sun right now, which I
- 5:33Speaker 2: think will take at any point during the day. Also
- 5:36Speaker 2: at any point at seven eleven or ten eleven. Today
- 5:39Speaker 2: you have the chance to be a winner with.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Diamond days and giveaway.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yes, all right, we have got a number. We have
- 5:49Speaker 2: got a name. Could it be yours. Are you ready
- 5:53Speaker 2: to do this, Angie?
- 5:54Speaker 1: I am ready.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Let's see if we can get a winner here this morning.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Will this person answer in three rings?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Let's fine? Help was that a ring?
- 6:10Speaker 3: Hello?
- 6:11Speaker 1: I don't even know if the phone rang one time? Hello?
- 6:14Speaker 1: Is this Emily? By chance? It is Emily?
- 6:18Speaker 2: Congratulations, This is Gave and Angie from Big ninety eight
- 6:22Speaker 2: point seven. You are today's winner for Diamond Days and Giveaways.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Yes, you are the winner.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yes, we are sending you to see the weekend at

- 6:35Speaker 2: Oh margat all right?
- 6:40Speaker 1: Have you been to US Bank Stadium before? I think
- 6:42Speaker 1: we have?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah, for a couple others, Yeah, a couple other concerts.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Well, right on. We hope you have a great time. Well,
- 6:49Speaker 1: thank you so much.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Thank you so much for answering in not even one ring.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You don't even think we heard of I had? Yes,
- 6:59Speaker 1: that's the way to do it.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Also, did you know it was US? Did you have
- 7:03Speaker 3: US saved in your contacts or did you just pick
- 7:05Speaker 3: up the random number?
- 7:07Speaker 2: Well, all right, we love hearing that. Congratulations and we
- 7:10Speaker 2: hope you enjoy the show. Thank you so much.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Today's Ariety, Big ninety eight point seven.
- 7:17Speaker 2: It's Gabe and Angie Cloudy Today and fifty four.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I'm going to do something this weekend with my kids
- 7:23Speaker 3: that I haven't done in years because it usually results
- 7:28Speaker 3: in a bunch of tears, tantrums and meltdowns.
- 7:31Speaker 1: What I think.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I think finally we're at a place where we can
- 7:34Speaker 3: do it.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Okay, I know when I was a kid, you know
- 7:38Speaker 2: what always get me in tears, tantrums and meltdowns. What
- 7:42Speaker 2: anytime we had to go to the dentist. And I'm
- 7:44Speaker 2: not saying don't go to the dentists. You should go
- 7:45Speaker 2: to the dentists. Are they making their first like Fargo
- 7:48Speaker 2: dentist try?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, No, I'm going to make them do
- 7:51Speaker 3: that for Easter. But what I'm gonna make them do
- 7:55Speaker 3: I think you'll be on board with?
- 7:57Speaker 1: Oh all right, cool?
- 7:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Copy Today's Variety Big ninety eight point seven. It is
- 8:04Speaker 2: Gabe and Angie Cloudy Today in fifty four.
- 8:07Speaker 3: After years of skipping it, I'm finally taking my kids
- 8:11Speaker 3: this weekend for Easter to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I have done it in for ages because the little
- 8:20Speaker 3: one was not having it, just meltdowns, crying. I know
- 8:24Speaker 3: I'm not the only mom who deals with this or
- 8:27Speaker 3: dealt with this. You try to take the kids to
- 8:29Speaker 3: take like a cute picture with a bunny, and you know,
- 8:34Speaker 3: for memories, but sometimes the kids are just scared of
- 8:37Speaker 3: the bunny. Yeah, and so they yeah face, they will
- 8:41Speaker 3: melt down, they cry. Sometimes the issue is that the
- 8:44Speaker 3: Easter bunny itself looks like a demon nightmare.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I don't know if you've seen like the old.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Pictures of Easter bunnies, but I'm taking them to West
- 8:53Speaker 3: Acres and Maizie the bunny.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I checked her out.
- 8:55Speaker 3: She's great. She looks like a very pleasant bunny. I
- 8:58Speaker 3: think will be fine. The little one is seven now,
- 9:01Speaker 3: so he's more his emotions are more regulated.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I think it'll be fine.
- 9:06Speaker 3: But it made me think about all the past pictures
- 9:11Speaker 3: when with the older one where I just suffered through
- 9:14Speaker 3: it while he melted down. And so I just have
- 9:16Speaker 3: a collection of meltdown pictures of him with.
- 9:19Speaker 1: The Easter money.
- 9:21Speaker 3: And I asked on Facebook, the Big ninety eight point
- 9:24Speaker 3: seven Facebook page, I need to see your Easter bunny pictures,
- 9:29Speaker 3: Like I know that I'm not the only one who
- 9:31Speaker 3: has a kid that was having a full tantrum while
- 9:34Speaker 3: the picture was taken. So I want to see your
- 9:36Speaker 3: kid's Easter pictures with the bunny. I love that, I think,
- 9:40Speaker 3: so drop him in the comments, go to the ninety
- 9:42Speaker 3: eight points that Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page
- 9:45Speaker 3: and show us these pictures because I feel like it's
- 9:48Speaker 3: a great way to kick off Easter weekend. Yeah, Gabe,
- 9:53Speaker 3: did you ever go take pictures with the Easter Bunny?
- 9:56Speaker 2: You know, I don't remember taking pictures with the Easter Bunny.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I we took a lot with Santa Claus growing up. Basically,
- 10:03Speaker 2: the only uh, the only pictures I feel like I
- 10:06Speaker 2: have like that growing up was Santa Claus and the
- 10:08Speaker 2: Minnesota Timberwolves cheerleaders.
- 10:11Speaker 1: When you were a kid, that's all. Oh oh yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 1: the second grade. Oh yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 2: My uncle took us to a basketball game and as
- 10:19Speaker 2: we were leaving, I would me and the cheerleaders made
- 10:23Speaker 2: eye contact and that was that.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Wow.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven is gab An, Angie,
- 10:31Speaker 2: Cloudy and fifty four today and we have games good
- 10:34Speaker 2: News of the day. This good news story is from
- 10:41Speaker 2: right here in Fargo, in South Fargo, in specific, yesterday,
- 10:45Speaker 2: my wife and I. We were walking our dog around
- 10:48Speaker 2: the neighborhood when we saw these two kids at the
- 10:50Speaker 2: end of their driveway and they had these little signs
- 10:53Speaker 2: and I couldn't quite exactly see what they were. And me,
- 10:57Speaker 2: being the annoying curious person that I am, I said, Oh, hey,
- 11:01Speaker 2: what do those signs say? And I love this about
- 11:05Speaker 2: these kids. I think they had like cookies or something
- 11:08Speaker 2: is what they were selling.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Oh okay?
- 11:09Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, like, what are they? What
- 11:12Speaker 2: do you got going on? YadA, YadA YadA. And of
- 11:14Speaker 2: course these kids absolute geniuses, these two young girls. And
- 11:18Speaker 2: they were like, oh, we have these cookies and it's
- 11:21Speaker 2: five cents or ten dollars for a cookie.
- 11:26Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there going, well, who would pay ten dollars?
- 11:28Speaker 4: Kay?
- 11:29Speaker 2: But then I thought about it. When is the last
- 11:32Speaker 2: time you just had a nickel?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that's genius. I have never had a
- 11:37Speaker 1: nickel in my pocket in my life.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I think these two young entrepreneurs were onto something here,
- 11:43Speaker 2: knowing that suckers like me.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Of course, I got a ten dollar.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Bill right, Oh, this is so smart. You know what
- 11:48Speaker 3: you gotta do, what you gotta do because of those tariffs.
- 11:51Speaker 1: That's right. I love these two little kids. It was awesome.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It was so cute to see just them out having
- 11:56Speaker 2: fun and bringing joy to people. So that was my
- 11:59Speaker 2: good news today that I got to experience just yesterday,
- 12:02Speaker 2: you know, with my wife, and the world's full of
- 12:04Speaker 2: nice people. If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
- 12:07Speaker 2: And if I know anything, it's, you know, nothing more
- 12:09Speaker 2: impressive than a good business one. Yeah,
