- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama Darling, Drama, Darling Drama Darling. Hello everybody, welcome back
- 0:21Speaker 1: in It's Drama Darling. We are talking the Real Housewives
- 0:23Speaker 1: of Rhode Island reunion to and final reunion. How sad.
- 0:28Speaker 1: So much that should have been and could have been
- 0:30Speaker 1: discussed had there been a third but we all have
- 0:33Speaker 1: to accept what the Bravo gods give us. Joining me
- 0:39Speaker 1: is Emily deresis ready to dive in high ams.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Totally ready and rejuvenated on my Joe Ellen fandom.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Oh good, Okay, yes, well, I am excited to discuss
- 0:55Speaker 1: all of what will be poor Rula. So at the end,
- 1:02Speaker 1: I just here's what I think is going to happen.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I think she is just doing everything she can to
- 1:08Speaker 1: just get through this first season with all of this
- 1:11Speaker 1: being exposed on camera. I think she has plans to
- 1:15Speaker 1: leave him as of right now, like I think she's
- 1:17Speaker 1: going to have a long term plan. She's staying with
- 1:22Speaker 1: him right now for the kids. And I think she
- 1:26Speaker 1: is savvy when it comes to money. She clearly showed
- 1:29Speaker 1: that portion of like a little sneak peek into her
- 1:33Speaker 1: financial intelligence and that she and Brian both have prenups.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And I think she's going to get out. It's going
- 1:40Speaker 1: to take a couple seasons, and that's fine, but this
- 1:45Speaker 1: is her survival path and I think that it's the
- 1:50Speaker 1: best that she can do. And it was really shocking,
- 1:54Speaker 1: as if we weren't shocked enough at what an idiot
- 1:57Speaker 1: Brian is that at the union there was more information
- 2:03Speaker 1: to be given that Rula didn't know. And this guy
- 2:07Speaker 1: thinks that he is going to be able to not
- 2:11Speaker 1: have it come to light, knowing that Joellen already has
- 2:15Speaker 1: all the cards, has had all the cards to begin with,
- 2:18Speaker 1: has all of the receipts coming to her from a
- 2:23Speaker 1: direct contact with the mistress. So for him to even
- 2:27Speaker 1: think that he just really is such a narcissist. He
- 2:30Speaker 1: doesn't think that any of this stuff is going to
- 2:32Speaker 1: catch up with him. So when, oh my god, when
- 2:36Speaker 1: Joellen said October, oh that's when it ended. Okay, then
- 2:43Speaker 1: why are you sending her your pictures of your son
- 2:46Speaker 1: and your son's Christmas list? And Rula's face was so shocked,
- 2:54Speaker 1: and I was so sad and so horrified for her
- 2:58Speaker 1: that I almost felt I just was like this fucking guy.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And then and she has to be humiliated again on
- 3:07Speaker 1: television because of this fucking guy who's sitting there with
- 3:12Speaker 1: an NDA excuse which I'm sure was a plan with
- 3:16Speaker 1: the mistress. Okay, how about you don't I don't know
- 3:19Speaker 1: whether or not that's a real lawsuit or a cover
- 3:22Speaker 1: up lawsuit. It could be both. It could be one
- 3:25Speaker 1: or the other, but sure is convenient that he's saying
- 3:29Speaker 1: you can't talk about anything because the NDA. It sounds
- 3:32Speaker 1: to me like they cooked it up him and this
- 3:34Speaker 1: mistress cooked up Why don't you as sue me? So
- 3:37Speaker 1: that all I have to say is NDS. Yes, I
- 3:40Speaker 1: believe that there's a lawsuit. I just don't know if
- 3:42Speaker 1: it's one hundred percent like real or if it's something
- 3:46Speaker 1: that they cooked up, because I can't you can't trust
- 3:49Speaker 1: this guy for anything. It sounded like there was a
- 3:52Speaker 1: lawsuit about the partnership and now they've now stepped back
- 3:56Speaker 1: from that, but then there's still an NDA based on
- 3:59Speaker 1: maybe another law I would not be surprised one bet
- 4:03Speaker 1: if the mistress and he like he divorces Rula before
- 4:08Speaker 1: she even has a chance to divorce him. He goes
- 4:10Speaker 1: off with the mistress and then they co own this
- 4:12Speaker 1: business together and then have a whole life like that
- 4:15Speaker 1: would not surprise me one bit.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Here's where I have a hard time with Rula in
- 4:19Speaker 2: this It's that she is trying to bond with Brian,
- 4:24Speaker 2: overtaking Joellen down, and all Joellen is doing at this
- 4:28Speaker 2: point is trying to be like, I'm not a liar,
- 4:32Speaker 2: I'm not a girl's girl anymore.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Rula.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I try to have your back, but now I'm just
- 4:36Speaker 2: saving my ass and putting everything out there, including that
- 4:41Speaker 2: Brian allegedly probably had a hand in getting me fired,
- 4:46Speaker 2: Like I can't even tell you watching this reunion, especially
- 4:50Speaker 2: and seeing him sit there and knowing he was sabotaging
- 4:54Speaker 2: my livelihood. If I'm Joeellen and these two are coming
- 4:57Speaker 2: at me telling me I'm alike, oh, I wouldn't sleep well.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I don't think Rula's not calling her a liar anymore,
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yes she is.
- 5:08Speaker 2: She's saying it's everything that Joellen presented before Brian came
- 5:13Speaker 2: out and when he was there. She's going around saying
- 5:17Speaker 2: it's that's not real. I don't know. I can't even
- 5:20Speaker 2: speak to that, but it's probably fake. You're it's fake,
- 5:23Speaker 2: You're it's you know, doctor Like, So if I'm Joellen,
- 5:27Speaker 2: I'm now in a totally different zone, and I'm laser
- 5:31Speaker 2: focused on taking Brian down.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I just, well, I don't know why you have such
- 5:36Speaker 1: a problem with Rula. She is really the victim here.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I mean like she is being because goured from all sides,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and she's doing the best she can do in this situation.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And honestly, at this point, I don't see her calling
- 5:51Speaker 1: joel and a liar. I just see her doing the
- 5:53Speaker 1: best she can to gather the information. She's listening to
- 5:58Speaker 1: what she's saying, and she's even saying things like when
- 6:02Speaker 1: Joelan said did you know that? And she's like, I
- 6:04Speaker 1: didn't know that. She's not like fighting with her this
- 6:08Speaker 1: whole second episode, she wasn't fighting with her anymore. In fact,
- 6:12Speaker 1: she was taking in this information like holy shit, this
- 6:15Speaker 1: is a lot more than I even thought. And as
- 6:17Speaker 1: they were talking at the end, she this is.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Her mo like she will say, wow, I didn't I
- 6:24Speaker 2: didn't know this, and then she'll kind of be like, Brian,
- 6:26Speaker 2: do you want to speak to this, and then Brian
- 6:29Speaker 2: will speak to it. Yeah, and then they both go
- 6:31Speaker 2: after Joellen. We just didn't get the going both after
- 6:35Speaker 2: her again.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Well yeah, because I think that now Rula is getting
- 6:38Speaker 1: even more information than she even thought was there because
- 6:41Speaker 1: now new information has been presented by Joellen, right exactly.
- 6:48Speaker 1: And I kind of like when Rula was like, uh, yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 1: I didn't know that, Brian, you know, she batted it
- 6:55Speaker 1: over to him, like this is not on me, this
- 6:58Speaker 1: is you're here, now you speak on this. It's an NDA.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Oh can't talk on it. It's an NDA. You know.
- 7:07Speaker 1: At this point, the fact that we have all this
- 7:10Speaker 1: information and it's getting like just blasted in their faces
- 7:14Speaker 1: is a wild thing to watch on reality television to
- 7:18Speaker 1: see the holes in his lies. And now he's just
- 7:24Speaker 1: saying I can't speak on it. It's like pleading the
- 7:26Speaker 1: fifth oh. And then also he's like, oh, that case
- 7:29Speaker 1: was dismissed, so I can't speak on it. And then
- 7:32Speaker 1: he's like, so if it's dismissed, why can't you speak
- 7:36Speaker 1: on it. He's such a scumbag. And I think at
- 7:42Speaker 1: some point down the line, you know, Rula and Joellen
- 7:47Speaker 1: will come to terms with each other and have apologies.
- 7:51Speaker 1: You know, I really I believe that. I think like
- 7:55Speaker 1: Joe that yeah, at the end, she did have regrets
- 7:58Speaker 1: about the way that she dealt with it. And you know,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and I appreciate that too. It's it's a messy situation,
- 8:05Speaker 1: you know, like she's kind of backed into a corner
- 8:08Speaker 1: and so she's defending her livelihood. But at the same time, Rula,
- 8:13Speaker 1: I think she made it pretty clear, at least in
- 8:15Speaker 1: this episode, as she said to Joellen, it's not that
- 8:17Speaker 1: you're bringing me information. I don't have a problem with that.
- 8:20Speaker 1: She even said, I don't blame you for that. I'm
- 8:23Speaker 1: I'm blaming you for basically saying like enough is enough.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't want you to bring me this information because
- 8:30Speaker 1: this is humiliating for me as well as it being
- 8:32Speaker 1: on camera. So please, like stop bringing me this information,
- 8:36Speaker 1: is what she was asking her to do.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I guess where I have my this is my problem
- 8:41Speaker 2: with Rola. You can't say that. And then in the downtime,
- 8:46Speaker 2: come after Joellen for bringing you information, Like if Joellen's
- 8:52Speaker 2: not presenting you know what I mean. It feels like
- 8:54Speaker 2: when there's when Joellen, not just at the reunion, but
- 8:57Speaker 2: this season, when Joe Ellen isn't doing something like that
- 9:02Speaker 2: rule is just attacking Joellen. She uses that downtime to
- 9:05Speaker 2: go after Joellen's character and so like what you know, Meanwhile,
- 9:10Speaker 2: Joellen is sitting on a mountain of receipts. So at
- 9:14Speaker 2: what point does she bring those out? I'll tell you what.
- 9:17Speaker 2: You bring those out before you come to the reunion couch, Rosie,
- 9:20Speaker 2: you bring out those receipts with you when you come
- 9:22Speaker 2: to the reunion couch.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Because Rosie that beautiful suitcase of which we've never seen
- 9:29Speaker 1: a suitcase before, like it was, it was next level.
- 9:34Speaker 1: And I think that's too bad because I think she
- 9:37Speaker 1: was too embarrassed. It's like how my daughter like when
- 9:39Speaker 1: they have them days at school. My daughter gets really
- 9:43Speaker 1: excited about him, and then she'll like dress up if
- 9:46Speaker 1: she's if she's interested, and then she'll get there and
- 9:50Speaker 1: the second that we pull up, she starts taking off,
- 9:53Speaker 1: like the hat or the accessories, and she starts hiding them.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I don't see anybody else wearing pajamas. I don't see
- 10:00Speaker 1: anyone else wearing Disney. I don't see anybody else doing Princess.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I don't, and I'm like, it's okay, it's okay. I
- 10:06Speaker 1: do see some people. She panics and then she goes
- 10:09Speaker 1: into school like with barely her costume, and I don't
- 10:12Speaker 1: even know if she ends up putting it on. I
- 10:14Speaker 1: think sometimes she does or whatever once she sees people.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But I think that's what happened to Rosie is that
- 10:20Speaker 1: she's like, this is too much. I can't bring this
- 10:22Speaker 1: out when it could have been pretty epic, you know,
- 10:25Speaker 1: pulling out a suitcase from behind the reunion couch would
- 10:29Speaker 1: have been amazing. And she said she had a binder
- 10:33Speaker 1: in the suitcase. So then there's that as well. Wait,
- 10:36Speaker 1: what was it that she was going to bring out?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Oh about the five thousand square foot house or the
- 10:43Speaker 1: eight thousand thing was? What were her receipts anything?
- 10:46Speaker 2: So why she got why? I think the emails between
- 10:49Speaker 2: her and her former employer about getting fired oh yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 2: versus medical leave, that was crazy. Yeah, I mean I
- 10:58Speaker 2: do think that she had valid things, especially in that
- 11:02Speaker 2: about the medical leave thing to talk about. Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I didn't understand why she's getting so skewed for that,
- 11:08Speaker 1: Like she has been very transparent and pretty open about it.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're gonna lie about medical eve, bleeding out
- 11:17Speaker 2: your butthole is a pretty intense thing to lie about.
- 11:21Speaker 1: If she I don't think she lied about it. I
- 11:24Speaker 1: think that she put like the shock value of it
- 11:27Speaker 1: should shut people down from asking any more questions, but
- 11:30Speaker 1: not the housewives. No, no, no, that's what Brian needs to do.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I wasn't having an affair un rule, I was bleeding
- 11:36Speaker 2: out my butthole.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything that these housewives won't touch.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Like they think that they're putting up a speed bump
- 11:45Speaker 1: or like a do not enter under construction sign do
- 11:48Speaker 1: not pass, and they move it right aside and they
- 11:51Speaker 1: go like there's nothing that's going to stop people. So
- 11:55Speaker 1: her losing or her leaving her job based on her
- 12:00Speaker 1: being involved with someone at the company and stuff like
- 12:03Speaker 1: that was I didn't see the value of pinning her
- 12:07Speaker 1: to something like that because it could never be validated
- 12:12Speaker 1: or confirmed on any level, Like it was so vague
- 12:16Speaker 1: that it was such a waste of time.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Kelsey really feels like she's grabbing for straws. She
- 12:24Speaker 2: feels a little bit, I mean, just like in the
- 12:27Speaker 2: current season of Atlanta with Angela Oakley, like pulling shit
- 12:31Speaker 2: out a note. Yes, yeah, And it just feels very
- 12:34Speaker 2: much like that's what Kelsey's move is with Rosie. It's
- 12:38Speaker 2: just a very mean girl. And then when if Rosie
- 12:42Speaker 2: has any proof, like Rosie says that she has emails
- 12:46Speaker 2: saying we're so sorry that you're leaving, like for medical reason,
- 12:51Speaker 2: like she has. So what can Kelsey even say to that? Then?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Right? Great to hear she had to wake up at
- 12:56Speaker 1: two thirty every day for like ten years. You know
- 12:59Speaker 1: that that takes a lot of discipline. And it was
- 13:03Speaker 1: funny when she was like I just realized I'm pretty
- 13:05Speaker 1: sick of waking up. I'd be like, yeah, I mean
- 13:09Speaker 1: any of the morning shows, be it radio, TV, everything
- 13:12Speaker 1: like that. I always have such tremendous respect for how
- 13:15Speaker 1: early they have to get up when the rest of
- 13:17Speaker 1: the world is sleeping. And I only had a very
- 13:20Speaker 1: small stint where I experienced that type of early morning
- 13:25Speaker 1: when I was working in Detroit on a radio show
- 13:28Speaker 1: called Dick Purton and Pertin's People womz classic oldies, and
- 13:36Speaker 1: I would do impressions and stuff like that on the show.
- 13:38Speaker 1: So it was I don't know, maybe a few months,
- 13:42Speaker 1: I want to say, like six months to a year
- 13:45Speaker 1: sporadically where I would go and do stuff. So, I
- 13:48Speaker 1: mean I had to wake I had to be there
- 13:50Speaker 1: at like four o'clock. It was so weird, you know,
- 13:54Speaker 1: it's just the most bizarre feeling. I would not want
- 13:58Speaker 1: to do that on a regular basis. It's hard.
- 14:02Speaker 2: No, And did you have to get glam ready?
- 14:04Speaker 1: I mean you were not television, so that's I mean
- 14:07Speaker 1: I did get like I did do my hair and
- 14:09Speaker 1: makeup because I wanted to look nice. Yeah, okay, so
- 14:13Speaker 1: I mean I did look good because I didn't show up.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And also like I didn't know them like that. I
- 14:19Speaker 1: mean I wasn't there for two years where I could
- 14:21Speaker 1: come in with like a messy bun and you know,
- 14:24Speaker 1: right right right. Also, I was single, so I didn't
- 14:27Speaker 1: have to worry about like anything else in my life.
- 14:30Speaker 1: All I had to worry about was me, so I
- 14:32Speaker 1: could do that. You know, I was getting plenty of sleep.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I was doing what I wanted to do. But anyway,
- 14:38Speaker 1: I just love these Rhode Island ladies. So the briefcase,
- 14:42Speaker 1: let's hope it comes out next year.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I would love it would have that rosy suitcase in
- 14:48Speaker 2: the hallway before the museum that it doesn't quite get
- 14:51Speaker 2: into the museum.
- 14:53Speaker 1: That's awesome, Like the green room stuff that's in the
- 14:56Speaker 1: green room. I would love that. And then also what
- 14:59Speaker 1: I would really like in the museum are the blueprints
- 15:02Speaker 1: to her house.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, for sure, although she probably doesn't want everybody
- 15:07Speaker 2: having pictures of how to like case her house.
- 15:09Speaker 1: But that's a good point. That's a good point. I
- 15:13Speaker 1: thought that the slam about it being the blueprints from
- 15:17Speaker 1: the old owners was so funny because it's such like
- 15:22Speaker 1: first world problems, like insult, you know. I'm like, oh,
- 15:26Speaker 1: you have the plans from the old owners. Oh okay,
- 15:29Speaker 1: m hm. Meanwhile, Kelsey, like you're you're now now you
- 15:36Speaker 1: went from I'm sorry, I'm sorry if this is true,
- 15:38Speaker 1: but like you went from you know, being taken care
- 15:41Speaker 1: of in this house to now bills taking care of
- 15:45Speaker 1: you taking care of you in this house. Like did
- 15:47Speaker 1: you sell a condo and put money towards buying house,
- 15:51Speaker 1: so it's a double mortgage. What's your point? She just
- 15:54Speaker 1: throws stones that she if they came back to her,
- 15:58Speaker 1: she would not be able to to defend, and that
- 16:02Speaker 1: this is.
- 16:03Speaker 2: How I see Rula. That's how I see Rula too,
- 16:05Speaker 2: because I'm just like, you better be ready for that
- 16:09Speaker 2: to come back. If you're gonna say these things, be ready,
- 16:13Speaker 2: Kelsey and Rula, Because these gals Rosie and Joellen are efficient,
- 16:18Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Like they're going to come
- 16:19Speaker 2: back with something.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah, but Kelsey is not a victim of betrayal and
- 16:26Speaker 1: lies and public humiliation like Rula has been the entire season.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So it's a different story.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It is, but I would say neither is Joellen, which
- 16:37Speaker 2: she almost could have been another victim of Brian's bullshit,
- 16:40Speaker 2: but she was like no, I said what I said,
- 16:44Speaker 2: and this is why I said it.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But she also took it out on Rula and did
- 16:49Speaker 1: not stop when Rula did kindly ask her to at
- 16:54Speaker 1: that point, We're just gonna leave it there. We're gonna
- 16:57Speaker 1: leave it there. Okay, let's talk about Alicia. So Alisha
- 17:01Speaker 1: apparently doesn't she doesn't really like Billy, and that's the
- 17:06Speaker 1: vibe I get at this point. I think that she
- 17:09Speaker 1: doesn't really know like who she is almost and just
- 17:14Speaker 1: allowed him to. She said Billy was a stalker and
- 17:18Speaker 1: wore her down. And that's how that weird exchange, wasn't it?
- 17:23Speaker 1: Because Andy's like, he beat you down? And I was like,
- 17:25Speaker 1: this is this is not ye he's a stalker and
- 17:29Speaker 1: he said, so he beat you down? And I know
- 17:31Speaker 1: that they were like it was like light but I
- 17:33Speaker 1: was like, okay, seeing how he has somebody on the
- 17:37Speaker 1: other couch that had to have DV charges, yes, for stalking.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I'm right, this is a little weird.
- 17:43Speaker 1: It's very odd, and I think, like what's happening with
- 17:46Speaker 1: Alicia and I would be interested to see what bish
- 17:48Speaker 1: therapist has to say about this, But like she's coming
- 17:52Speaker 1: into a place where now she's getting acknowledged publicly and
- 17:56Speaker 1: widely and being celebrated for her quirky personality and how
- 18:01Speaker 1: lovable she is. Right, and I think people supporting her
- 18:07Speaker 1: in this way, she's starting to feel a little bit
- 18:10Speaker 1: of power to say how she really feels because and
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I'm not sure if she said this
- 18:16Speaker 1: to Billy off camera or in their lives, where she
- 18:20Speaker 1: says these kind of backhanded comments to him in public,
- 18:25Speaker 1: I'd be curious if she did. But it seems like
- 18:28Speaker 1: it's kind of new, just based on like that reproposal
- 18:32Speaker 1: when she was like, you never do stuff like this, Oh,
- 18:35Speaker 1: I see, now you're doing this. You know, these types
- 18:38Speaker 1: of things, like she's upset, she's angry, and I get it,
- 18:40Speaker 1: you know I would be too. So it's coming out
- 18:43Speaker 1: in these ways where she's starting to dismiss him. She's
- 18:48Speaker 1: starting to kind of insult him here and there, and
- 18:51Speaker 1: also like too little, too late kind of scenario. I
- 18:55Speaker 1: don't even want that. I don't even want the fifty percent.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I don't even find I'll sign this. She's tired. She
- 19:02Speaker 1: obviously has some sort of ADHD issue because she certainly
- 19:06Speaker 1: doesn't want to or can't focus on any of these
- 19:09Speaker 1: emails or meetings or wells.
- 19:11Speaker 2: That was like a little bit of a redemption for
- 19:14Speaker 2: me with Billy because I was like, Oh, he he
- 19:16Speaker 2: is trying. I agree, he is trying to be like
- 19:20Speaker 2: so trying that he's being so thorough to have meetings
- 19:24Speaker 2: of like everything. If he was just blitzing through the
- 19:28Speaker 2: kitchen and being like we have X amount of dollars,
- 19:31Speaker 2: I would feel like now he's hiding something, you know
- 19:35Speaker 2: what I mean, Like he's having her sit down with
- 19:37Speaker 2: the witness the man Sarah, Sarah.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I don't have to deal with Sarah.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I don't know. I was kind of like, this is
- 19:47Speaker 2: this is I'm glad we're hearing this because I had
- 19:49Speaker 2: I had seen where he was spending her housewives money
- 19:52Speaker 2: because she made that.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Post and I know.
- 19:55Speaker 2: He was not happy about it, and so this was
- 19:58Speaker 2: I'm really glad that they Andy asked.
- 20:00Speaker 1: About that me too, and I wonder if like, who's
- 20:04Speaker 1: to say he would have, you know, moved the needle
- 20:08Speaker 1: the way that he did in terms of like setting
- 20:11Speaker 1: up all the stuff that he has recently, which is well,
- 20:14Speaker 1: he brought this agreement to the reunion to give her
- 20:17Speaker 1: fifty percent of the shares. He'd never done that before,
- 20:20Speaker 1: like you know, So I think maybe he's lost in
- 20:24Speaker 1: the sauce too and doesn't want to deal with the
- 20:26Speaker 1: reality of what they're building together and who they really
- 20:31Speaker 1: are together, a real partnership, and he's ignored that and
- 20:34Speaker 1: she hasn't pushed him on it because she doesn't understand
- 20:36Speaker 1: the logistics and is too tired to push for it.
- 20:39Speaker 1: So I think being on TV and then having it
- 20:44Speaker 1: be called out, he realizes that this is an issue
- 20:47Speaker 1: and he doesn't want to look like the bad guy.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I'm sure. So he's I think, trying to cover his
- 20:52Speaker 1: bases by making sure that she is you know, informed
- 20:59Speaker 1: by him, by other people, and by presenting something publicly.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I mean it was news to me. I didn't know
- 21:06Speaker 1: this that he used to be a lawyer. I had
- 21:08Speaker 1: no idea.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so he's not to be married or do you
- 21:13Speaker 2: think they're going to get married or and do you
- 21:15Speaker 2: think they'll stay together or not? Even I think they'll
- 21:19Speaker 2: get married, I don't know if they'll stay together.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Yeah, hmmm, it's so weird, like I can't see it
- 21:27Speaker 1: either way. I'm like looking into my you know, my
- 21:30Speaker 1: crystal ball, and like I it's weird. I like can't
- 21:33Speaker 1: see it anything, Like I can't see anything. I think
- 21:35Speaker 1: that these agreements are good, but maybe she'll outgrow him
- 21:40Speaker 1: and she'll just be upset. I mean I could see
- 21:42Speaker 1: them like sticking together and not actually getting married, but
- 21:46Speaker 1: going into counseling. Like I don't know if I see
- 21:48Speaker 1: them getting married.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I think Alicia wants that fairytale wedding and that's why
- 21:54Speaker 2: I think they'll get married, because of the actual like
- 21:57Speaker 2: wedding party and Saramon like that she'll get into. I
- 22:02Speaker 2: just don't know what it'll be after that, especially like
- 22:05Speaker 2: with Bravo involved, Like I can.
- 22:07Speaker 1: See that they'll push for it.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so, but I don't know. I don't know. I
- 22:15Speaker 2: also don't think that Alicia wants to think about any
- 22:18Speaker 2: of the like the the paperwork of anything. So no,
- 22:26Speaker 2: maybe they will be saying together because that is something
- 22:29Speaker 2: he's so good at in her mind.
- 22:31Speaker 1: And I think that's fair. I don't think that. You know,
- 22:34Speaker 1: sometimes people take you know, everybody takes on different hats
- 22:37Speaker 1: when you're in a partnership. And there's nothing wrong with
- 22:40Speaker 1: him taking care of that and her not knowing as much.
- 22:43Speaker 1: But what I think she had an issue was it's
- 22:46Speaker 1: like her name is not in the house right. That
- 22:50Speaker 1: obviously bothers her, probably more than the wedding, you know,
- 22:53Speaker 1: like let's get things, let's get our ducks in order,
- 22:55Speaker 1: you know, And he's giving her an agreement for the
- 22:57Speaker 1: pizza mama, but she's like, put my name on the house,
- 23:00Speaker 1: because that's how I understand things to be. She has
- 23:03Speaker 1: an issue with being homeless. That is her biggest trigger point.
- 23:09Speaker 1: So if she can't get her name on that house,
- 23:12Speaker 1: nothing else matters to her. I think that that's the
- 23:14Speaker 1: most important thing. So when Dilly does that, I don't
- 23:17Speaker 1: think she's going to be satisfied with anything.
- 23:20Speaker 2: And U and yeah, you're right, because it's been nine years,
- 23:25Speaker 2: you know, like they aren't married. She's not pushing for
- 23:27Speaker 2: a wedding because there are certain things that like she
- 23:30Speaker 2: does not have from him and now to your point,
- 23:33Speaker 2: it's they're on TV and all of a sudden, these
- 23:36Speaker 2: things are happening. Yeah, and she's I think she is,
- 23:40Speaker 2: even though she might not want to get into the
- 23:42Speaker 2: paperwork of at all. She's pretty smart in a lot
- 23:45Speaker 2: of ways. Not in Jones's Fonda, Jane's Fonda.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Jane's Fonda. I can't believe that that's how she. Wait
- 23:53Speaker 1: when they did that flashback of like, yeah, my aunt
- 23:56Speaker 1: taught me Jane's Fonda and her aunt is in the
- 23:58Speaker 1: car drinking out of a fly. Did you see that?
- 24:04Speaker 1: I love that they threw that in there. That was
- 24:06Speaker 1: so so good.
- 24:07Speaker 2: But so Andy didn't correct her once on Jane's Fonda
- 24:11Speaker 2: on the couch, because she said it a couple of
- 24:12Speaker 2: times on the couch and Andy's like, m hmm.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no I mean, it's like a child you
- 24:17Speaker 1: don't want to correct because it's too cute, you know,
- 24:19Speaker 1: like you don't for certain things that you don't want
- 24:21Speaker 1: to correct your child on when they're like Maddie used
- 24:23Speaker 1: to say, for gloves. She used to say gloves with
- 24:27Speaker 1: a B and we'd be like, oh, yeah, you're you're glubs,
- 24:30Speaker 1: you know, like I'm not gonna correct that, no way,
- 24:34Speaker 1: are you kidding me? So, But like the oyster crackers,
- 24:40Speaker 1: when Andy's like, are you doing? Are you going to
- 24:43Speaker 1: make your own cracker? And she's like, I am, oh, really,
- 24:46Speaker 1: who's doing it? You know? The people who do the
- 24:48Speaker 1: oyster crackers them. She doesn't have the time or like
- 24:55Speaker 1: headspace to know, Like the name of the company. Is
- 24:59Speaker 1: it Nabisco? I don't, I don't know like who, but
- 25:03Speaker 1: I love it. I love it so much, them, oyster
- 25:06Speaker 1: people them.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I want to I think that's like well with clam
- 25:11Speaker 2: chowder and everything. I yeah, that is so perfect.
- 25:14Speaker 1: It is this. I mean, you couldn't get it any better. Saltines?
- 25:19Speaker 1: Is that Nibisco? I don't know. No, I I almost
- 25:23Speaker 1: wonder my cracker brands.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what saltine is,
- 25:28Speaker 2: but like I wonder too. I was like, oh, I
- 25:31Speaker 2: wonder if that's like a oyster cracker. If there's like
- 25:34Speaker 2: a local oyster cracker maker and they're like a cup
- 25:36Speaker 2: of cracker.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Right, it could just be a boutique oyster cracker company,
- 25:42Speaker 1: not like the main one, or you.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Know, yeah, yeah, I love that so much.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so Andy and everybody really does give Alicia a
- 25:54Speaker 1: lot of advice by saying like, now you're gonna be
- 25:57Speaker 1: making a lot more money, and you do need to
- 25:59Speaker 1: know where it's and what's happening with it. And uh,
- 26:04Speaker 1: I don't know if she heard that, but it does
- 26:06Speaker 1: seem like she's got enough people around her to hopefully
- 26:10Speaker 1: you know what I heard, God, Teresa, No, I.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Heard, Okay, so Rhode Island's getting a second season and
- 26:17Speaker 2: Alicia's on it, like that's when I heard.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah oh. And then also
- 26:23Speaker 1: at the end, Ashley Rula said something like, well there,
- 26:28Speaker 1: maybe I couldn't see or I couldn't see who said this.
- 26:32Speaker 1: There are so many other things that we didn't talk
- 26:34Speaker 1: about going on with other people, and Ashley's like, well,
- 26:37Speaker 1: that's what we're gonna I'm sure we'll get into that
- 26:39Speaker 1: next season or something.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Oh yeahs and were saying that.
- 26:44Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, because think about it, Like
- 26:47Speaker 1: Jerry and Liz were out there, nothing came up about
- 26:51Speaker 1: them at all except hey, how's Dino. He's great, he's
- 26:55Speaker 1: really famous now because he's in trouble. But nothing like
- 26:59Speaker 1: oh yeah, we're friends, No big deal, that's that Okay.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I also noticed, and this is I think that Liz
- 27:10Speaker 2: was purposely not saying much between I mean, she got
- 27:12Speaker 2: a little involved, but not really with Joellen and Rula,
- 27:15Speaker 2: because I think she was like, I can't have the
- 27:17Speaker 2: guns turned on me right now. I legit have like
- 27:22Speaker 2: legit federal allegedly issues, so I cannot be involved with this.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I can't have Joel and pulling out my receipts.
- 27:31Speaker 1: No. And at the end, when everyone was saying like,
- 27:35Speaker 1: what would you do differently if you would, and Rosie
- 27:40Speaker 1: was like, well, I wish I wouldn't have called Kelsey
- 27:43Speaker 1: a polygamist, and Kelsey was like, I, you know, accept that,
- 27:47Speaker 1: and I would love to hang out off camera. Rula
- 27:50Speaker 1: said she would have shut things down harder, although she's
- 27:53Speaker 1: not sure if that would have worked. Joe Allen would
- 27:57Speaker 1: have changed how she dealt with Rula and have maybe
- 28:00Speaker 1: done some things with her off camera, and Liz Leshia
- 28:04Speaker 1: said like the SCA on my face, the dog the
- 28:08Speaker 1: dog sca and He's like, that's all you but yeah,
- 28:14Speaker 1: and then Liz was like, I would have cared less
- 28:20Speaker 1: about more and I would have been I would have
- 28:23Speaker 1: just been but had been more pleased with having done
- 28:28Speaker 1: less of nothing of forever with by the sea wall
- 28:33Speaker 1: and stuff. I mean it literally made no less the
- 28:38Speaker 1: ongoings of less it made no sense really, And to
- 28:44Speaker 1: walk away from a season being like I would have
- 28:47Speaker 1: cared less, it is so funny to me, and I
- 28:51Speaker 1: doubt she would have.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I think she will care just as much next season.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I think she will care just as less next season.

- 32:48Speaker 1: I sent you experience the new standard and comfort and
- 32:51Speaker 1: support with Honeylove.
- 32:57Speaker 2: So like in that too, I was thinking, like as
- 32:59Speaker 2: they were like wrapping up, I was like, you know,
- 33:02Speaker 2: this also goes to Joeellen. Nobody and the Liz team
- 33:08Speaker 2: fucked with Joe Ellen's livelihood or life in that way
- 33:12Speaker 2: and Liz. I do think Joellen could have gone pretty
- 33:15Speaker 2: hard on Liz but didn't, so I'm like, I'm starting
- 33:20Speaker 2: to see what gets how you're how you're going to
- 33:23Speaker 2: really move Joellen and like on this show. And I think,
- 33:28Speaker 2: like we've seen all of her hot buttons hit in
- 33:30Speaker 2: season one, and like I'm.
- 33:33Speaker 1: A little Joellen Joellen, Okay, Well, she had her hands
- 33:36Speaker 1: full with the rule of Ryan thing. I don't think
- 33:38Speaker 1: there was any other home for her to go for Liz.
- 33:41Speaker 2: But I think Liz had enough on the table, and
- 33:44Speaker 2: like you know, in the first episode of the reunion,
- 33:46Speaker 2: like you could tell it really upset Joellen how Liz
- 33:49Speaker 2: was like denying like the physicality of that argument and
- 33:54Speaker 2: that they were friends and all that, and Joellen was like,
- 33:58Speaker 2: you know, she wasn't trying to of anything to Liz
- 34:01Speaker 2: on that, you know, And I don't know if that's
- 34:03Speaker 2: because she's terrified of.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Liz, like we are, Yeah exactly. Yeah, I don't know
- 34:11Speaker 1: she maybe she did, and they just cut it out
- 34:14Speaker 1: because there was so much with Brian and Rula. Debacle
- 34:18Speaker 1: of a situation was the entire season, you know, I mean,
- 34:23Speaker 1: that was really what it is, and so I think
- 34:27Speaker 1: that they had to really lean into focusing on that
- 34:30Speaker 1: in order to make the storyline come all the way
- 34:33Speaker 1: through to the end and and just kind of stick
- 34:38Speaker 1: with that. So if there was some stuff happening, scenes
- 34:42Speaker 1: that happened between Liz and Joellen, maybe we just didn't
- 34:45Speaker 1: see those, which.
- 34:48Speaker 2: On the reunion generally, well we did though they had
- 34:52Speaker 2: the whole fight at the Kappa or whatever.
- 34:55Speaker 1: No, I mean more like more Oh yeah, you're saying,
- 34:58Speaker 1: you're saying like after that, you're saying she could have
- 35:01Speaker 1: gone for her more because of the physicality and stuff
- 35:04Speaker 1: like that. And so what I'm saying is there could
- 35:07Speaker 1: have been more scenes where they did talk about it,
- 35:10Speaker 1: or Joellen's talking about it to other people or in
- 35:13Speaker 1: her confessional, but they did show it because there wasn't
- 35:16Speaker 1: time to go down that path and it wasn't as spicy. Yeah.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think like two episodes was really good.
- 35:26Speaker 2: I could have had a third for sure, of a reunion,
- 35:29Speaker 2: I could have, but it was I think well done. Editors.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Yeah, the men, you know, she's Louise. After they went
- 35:41Speaker 1: back there at the end and Jared and all the
- 35:44Speaker 1: guys are like saying to Brian, you know, Jared's like
- 35:48Speaker 1: you have to tell her everything, Like you can't like
- 35:53Speaker 1: come to Audrey's sit down, like, I'll get you ice
- 35:57Speaker 1: machines working. I'll get you some ice lot and you, guys,
- 36:01Speaker 1: you tell her everything that you haven't told her because
- 36:03Speaker 1: this cannot keep going on. And then Sinatra guy was like,
- 36:08Speaker 1: you know what, it says a lot about you come
- 36:10Speaker 1: in here and face his head on And I'm like, uh,
- 36:14Speaker 1: does it or just does it mean that this guy
- 36:16Speaker 1: is a fucking idiot and a narcissist that he doesn't care.
- 36:21Speaker 1: It's just nothing to him to show up to something
- 36:24Speaker 1: like this because he's so disrespectful and delusional and thinks
- 36:29Speaker 1: he can get away with everything. Because I'm thinking, like
- 36:33Speaker 1: an actual regular person who cares, that would be hard
- 36:36Speaker 1: for him, not so much, you know what I mean.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I don't know the fucking game he's running and what
- 36:43Speaker 2: he gets off on. That's the thing that's driving me
- 36:46Speaker 2: crazy because you're watching his face and it doesn't shift,
- 36:50Speaker 2: it doesn't change, you know, like the Jersey Husbands when
- 36:53Speaker 2: they get called out, there's emotion, there's something going on
- 36:57Speaker 2: behind the eyes. Yeah, there's not like it's just like
- 37:02Speaker 2: blank except for to be like, you know, he's so
- 37:07Speaker 2: chill in his lie. I can see where Rula. I mean,
- 37:10Speaker 2: I get why she's believing, because it's like he's not
- 37:14Speaker 2: defensive in any real way. He's just like it's it's
- 37:18Speaker 2: it's you know, she altered it. It's photoshopped, it's anybody
- 37:20Speaker 2: can do it, put a time stamp on.
- 37:22Speaker 1: You know what. It's just like, no, there's no emotion. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 1: it sands emotion. So it's like sometimes when people are like,
- 37:31Speaker 1: are you kidd I can't believe you're even asking me this,
- 37:33Speaker 1: that's when you know someone's really lying because they're just
- 37:36Speaker 1: being so defensive and they're turning it back on that person.
- 37:40Speaker 1: But with him, his whole situation isn't like that. He's
- 37:44Speaker 1: just like gaslighting her in a very subtle, brush you
- 37:48Speaker 1: off kind of way, and she's buying it.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and he must really, I mean, because this is
- 37:56Speaker 2: a pattern clearly, like that de worst timeline that they
- 38:01Speaker 2: pulled up on my oh god, like she had the
- 38:05Speaker 2: docket there, like I couldn't believe it.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Wild. Yeah, when Joel admitted that it was twenty twelve
- 38:13Speaker 1: that he he said that he was divorced when she
- 38:17Speaker 1: thought it was twenty ten, and then the docket or
- 38:22Speaker 1: whatever the filing was, it said too.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And I think that was like the website, you know
- 38:30Speaker 2: what I mean, like search it up yourself. This is
- 38:32Speaker 2: not an altered picture I have on my phone anymore,
- 38:36Speaker 2: Like go look it up. And then are they married?
- 38:41Speaker 2: Like because you can't. I don't think you can be
- 38:44Speaker 2: married like in most states to two people.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah. And you know what she rula was she did
- 38:56Speaker 1: everything she could to keep it at bay by saying like,
- 38:59Speaker 1: this is none of your business. This is none of
- 39:00Speaker 1: your business. I don't want to you know, no, no, no,
- 39:04Speaker 1: And then she finally was like, fine, you know twenty ten,
- 39:07Speaker 1: that's when he got divorced. When did you get married
- 39:09Speaker 1: twenty sixteen? So at this point when she says we
- 39:17Speaker 1: did get married, like we were blessed, did you did
- 39:20Speaker 1: you hear that part where she said like they blessed us?
- 39:24Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, interesting, did she just say
- 39:27Speaker 1: basically what is the truth, which is that they didn't
- 39:31Speaker 1: actually get married, but they were just blessed.
- 39:35Speaker 2: And I think we were blessed by a Catholic priest.
- 39:38Speaker 2: But then I'm like, I don't know the Catholic church
- 39:41Speaker 2: and marriage stuff. So then I was like, you know,
- 39:43Speaker 2: is it something like where you know they had cause
- 39:48Speaker 2: he's divorced. I don't know. But then I'm like, well,
- 39:51Speaker 2: her families really can, like aren't they super like they
- 39:56Speaker 2: they don't believe in divorce or something like that. She yeah,
- 39:59Speaker 2: so she's already divorced and that's why she's trying to
- 40:01Speaker 2: like keep this thing together. Anyway, Rula and Brian picked
- 40:08Speaker 2: a bad time in your lives to be on reality TV.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I just don't know what you want us to do, Like, yeah,
- 40:17Speaker 1: what do you want us to do with this information?
- 40:19Speaker 1: Like so when okay, so Andy did ask him that,
- 40:23Speaker 1: like why would you choose? Did he ask Brian that?
- 40:27Speaker 1: Or did he ask both of them that?
- 40:29Speaker 2: Like?
- 40:29Speaker 1: Was he addressed?
- 40:30Speaker 2: Didn't?
- 40:30Speaker 1: I felt like he was just asking Brian, why would
- 40:33Speaker 1: you come on this show? And you've had an active
- 40:35Speaker 1: affair going, right? And I think Brian said I can't
- 40:40Speaker 1: answer that, right, So okay, fine. He thought he would
- 40:45Speaker 1: be able to get away with it. This is typical,
- 40:48Speaker 1: like I don't know what covert narcissist. I don't know, guys,
- 40:52Speaker 1: you tell me for whatever his reasons were to go
- 40:55Speaker 1: on the show. But now for her, why did she
- 40:58Speaker 1: go on this show? Is a different in question. So
- 41:01Speaker 1: my question would be did she know when she signed
- 41:04Speaker 1: on to this that he was having an affair because
- 41:09Speaker 1: and I would argue.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Had the timeline of that, because she's like, we were going
- 41:13Speaker 2: to be filming and she had that.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Yeah, so she did know that they had an affair,
- 41:19Speaker 1: but she just thought it was over. Yes.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I really believe Rula is in such a trance from
- 41:26Speaker 2: Brian that she does, literally to her core, believe everything
- 41:31Speaker 2: he says. So I don't. I mean, I might argue
- 41:36Speaker 2: that that is not a good idea, but that is
- 41:40Speaker 2: I believe that that is what she's not like. And
- 41:43Speaker 2: then I think she's trying to cover up for Brian
- 41:45Speaker 2: until she gets him in a quiet room where he
- 41:48Speaker 2: can reconvince.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Her that he's correct, or in a room with other
- 41:53Speaker 1: housewives who can defend her, and he's got to answer
- 41:57Speaker 1: to them instead of her. I felt like she did
- 42:00Speaker 1: feel safe and felt the support of other people at
- 42:04Speaker 1: times when they were asking questions and she was like,
- 42:08Speaker 1: I didn't know that ask him for a second. There.
- 42:11Speaker 1: I felt a little bit of empowerment on her behalf
- 42:14Speaker 1: when she was feeling like, I don't have to answer
- 42:18Speaker 1: to this. He's got to answer for himself, and I
- 42:21Speaker 1: don't have to be the fucking, you know, guard dog
- 42:25Speaker 1: that has to be the one protecting him. At least
- 42:28Speaker 1: I'm not asking these questions right now, And I really
- 42:31Speaker 1: appreciated that for her. I wanted her to have more
- 42:34Speaker 1: of that, and I wish he would have just answered,
- 42:37Speaker 1: but at least we've got more information, and I appreciated that.
- 42:41Speaker 1: At the end, she was like, well, Rosie the way
- 42:44Speaker 1: that Rosie was like, well, what are you gonna do?
- 42:46Speaker 1: Like what if you know? And she's like, he's just
- 42:48Speaker 1: he's an idiot. She's she's crazy, which obviously that's just
- 42:51Speaker 1: an excuse that that's what she is telling Yeah, she's
- 42:55Speaker 1: telling her that she's crazy.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Former partner when he said that, like.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Well, you know what, I was like, former partner meaning
- 43:03Speaker 1: like you know, love love interest partner. But then I
- 43:07Speaker 1: was like, oh my god, I think he was actually
- 43:09Speaker 1: saying business partner because he made her part owner, so
- 43:15Speaker 1: he tried to keep it professional. But at first I
- 43:19Speaker 1: thought the same thing. I was like, oh my god,
- 43:21Speaker 1: like I can't even said that. It is it is.
- 43:24Speaker 1: It's like you're cheating on me, but you that's bad.
- 43:28Speaker 1: But like, now you have an actual other dog with
- 43:30Speaker 1: this person. That's even worse, you know, like when it
- 43:33Speaker 1: comes to that and he made her that business partner,
- 43:39Speaker 1: he fucking made her a co owner of that business.
- 43:43Speaker 1: That's why, like his whole he's the type of guy
- 43:47Speaker 1: that would literally move to another country, leave Roula with
- 43:53Speaker 1: like nothing, and go with a mistress to another country
- 43:58Speaker 1: and never be heard from again. Like I can completely
- 44:01Speaker 1: see him doing.
- 44:02Speaker 2: That one thousand percent. And that mistress's name Joe ellen
- 44:09Speaker 2: Mark my words.
- 44:13Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna write that down. So if Rula
- 44:17Speaker 1: doesn't divorce him, he's going to do something first. And really,
- 44:23Speaker 1: at this point, the steaks are higher for him because
- 44:25Speaker 1: now he's exposed and he looks like an idiot. So
- 44:29Speaker 1: what's a way that he can gain back his power?
- 44:32Speaker 1: Not be in this situation again and cut and run.
- 44:36Speaker 1: He's done it before. This Spanish teacher situation is wild.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Say that. I was like, we need to hear from
- 44:42Speaker 2: the Spanish teacher. No, Alicia, make that happen on the beach.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Had the Spanish teacher run up to you?
- 44:50Speaker 1: Yeah, have the Spanish teacher run up or like where
- 44:53Speaker 1: is she living? Like maybe go there on a cast
- 44:55Speaker 1: trip and go to that beach. But he cheated like,
- 45:00Speaker 1: he's not going to change. This is this is him.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Yeah, this is him, this is him.
- 45:04Speaker 1: More information will continue to come out, over and over
- 45:07Speaker 1: and over again. There's plenty more. There's plenty more stones
- 45:11Speaker 1: that have not been unturned.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Joellen needs to have a podcast like a just a
- 45:18Speaker 2: docuseries just on the receipts she has on Brian and
- 45:22Speaker 2: I would listen to every episode of her, like Ceial
- 45:26Speaker 2: Side episode. Dear NPR please do a series of Cereal
- 45:31Speaker 2: with the receipts Joellen has on Brian, Thank you, include
- 45:34Speaker 2: the Spanish nature.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I don't like Joellen. I am not a fan of
- 45:38Speaker 1: hers great TV, but I do not like. I don't
- 45:43Speaker 1: think that she has any empathy, and that kind of
- 45:45Speaker 1: scares me. I'm not gonna lie.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Oh when she was called you're being psychotic and she
- 45:50Speaker 2: was like.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Oh thank you. Oh yeah, yeah. I think that she
- 45:55Speaker 1: might be. I don't know. I don't want to I
- 45:57Speaker 1: don't want to label it, but I think think that like,
- 46:01Speaker 1: and it's not her fault. I think that her circumstances,
- 46:05Speaker 1: her environment maybe created her, you know, these issues, But
- 46:12Speaker 1: I do not think that that's why I have more
- 46:17Speaker 1: empathy towards Rula in this situation. I know you don't,
- 46:20Speaker 1: but I think.
- 46:21Speaker 2: That she empathy.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I just yeah, but I think that she just doesn't
- 46:29Speaker 1: have it. I don't think she has the empathy that
- 46:33Speaker 1: would have been needed. Like it's all facts. She could
- 46:36Speaker 1: be she could have been anybody off the street dealing
- 46:38Speaker 1: with the situation, but she knew her and you know,
- 46:44Speaker 1: so her bedside manner I think could be improved, I guess,
- 46:47Speaker 1: is what I'm saying.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Anyway, you know what it is like we didn't see
- 46:52Speaker 2: the initial conversation that the very first conversation was off
- 46:59Speaker 2: camera where Joeoellen mentions Tarula about this affair, because really
- 47:05Speaker 2: we're brought in after that as the audience. We were
- 47:08Speaker 2: brought in at Liza's party to kind of see it
- 47:10Speaker 2: all unfolding in that way with Brian, and so it
- 47:13Speaker 2: is a little hard to know like how this all
- 47:15Speaker 2: went down. Like I think that whatever we saw happen
- 47:20Speaker 2: on camera maybe had had you know, it had been
- 47:24Speaker 2: going for a minute, and Joeellen was in control of
- 47:27Speaker 2: this ball of fire and Rula really was in the
- 47:32Speaker 2: passenger seat on the whole thing, like she had to
- 47:34Speaker 2: just go with it. And I do feel bad because
- 47:36Speaker 2: that it seems impossible your first year of television on
- 47:41Speaker 2: reality TV, all of it in front of everybody, and
- 47:43Speaker 2: now you're dealing with it. But I will say, if
- 47:45Speaker 2: it wasn't Joe Ellen, it would have been anybody else
- 47:49Speaker 2: because the producers had to be hearing about this. The
- 47:52Speaker 2: mistress was posting online, so somebody was going to be
- 47:57Speaker 2: presenting this information over and over. It wasn't gonna be Alicia,
- 48:04Speaker 2: but it was gonna get pushed. So I also wonder
- 48:08Speaker 2: how much I mean, Joellen was certainly motivated to push it.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I also wonder like if it was all so gonna
- 48:16Speaker 2: be Kelsey, maybe you know, anybody else that would have
- 48:20Speaker 2: been like oh, to.
- 48:21Speaker 1: A certain degree, but they wouldn't have gone, you know,
- 48:25Speaker 1: gone the distance the way that Joellen did. Because Joellen
- 48:30Speaker 1: this is what she like. She's passionate about this type
- 48:33Speaker 1: of stuff. I mean, I think she'd be a great
- 48:36Speaker 1: detective or you know, an investigator. I think she'd be
- 48:38Speaker 1: a great attorney. I think that she would kill it
- 48:41Speaker 1: as an attorney, and that this is like part of
- 48:45Speaker 1: her character, you know what I'm saying. Like she you
- 48:48Speaker 1: could tell she's passionate. She kind of gets off on
- 48:50Speaker 1: like no, this, this, this, this just pounding, pounding, pounding,
- 48:55Speaker 1: when if you were to flip it, you know, how
- 49:00Speaker 1: would you handle it as that person? And that's what
- 49:03Speaker 1: the that's the piece that she's missing, And that's why
- 49:05Speaker 1: I said that I don't I don't think that she
- 49:07Speaker 1: has the empathy. But a lot of housewives don't have empathy,
- 49:10Speaker 1: which is why they're housewives because.
- 49:14Speaker 2: And I don't want to have out with them issues.
- 49:18Speaker 1: No one on this cast has prenups except for Rula,
- 49:21Speaker 1: which I thought was very interesting.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Well, Rula and Brian got married later in terms of
- 49:27Speaker 2: or money.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Wise, right, yeah, well.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so does that prenup even matter?
- 49:33Speaker 1: Right?
- 49:34Speaker 2: I don't know how that works.
- 49:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't understand how that would.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Work, because then, yeah, that would be like a state
- 49:41Speaker 2: law kind of sore through and you could get an
- 49:43Speaker 2: Lauria to argue, well, she was under the impression that
- 49:46Speaker 2: this contract started at this time. But it sounds like
- 49:50Speaker 2: to your point like maybe it wasn't. Maybe she knows
- 49:53Speaker 2: they're not married or weren't married. Gosh, it's messy.
- 49:56Speaker 1: I know. But there's got to be like information online
- 50:01Speaker 1: right now, Like there's gotta be something up there Darlin's yeah, yeah, Kelsey,
- 50:09Speaker 1: you know these Okay, I'm sorry, but her argument for
- 50:13Speaker 1: not being an escort, really it kind of backfired. I'm sorry.
- 50:17Speaker 1: And here's the thing. If she was an escort, and like,
- 50:21Speaker 1: isn't that just okay? Like why can't you just be
- 50:24Speaker 1: an escort? Like maybe you're not like having sex with
- 50:27Speaker 1: these people, but maybe you're just going out with men
- 50:30Speaker 1: as an escort to certain events and you're getting paid
- 50:33Speaker 1: for it, right, what is exactly is wrong with that?
- 50:37Speaker 1: So when she says that there were these fake pages
- 50:40Speaker 1: of her that somebody created, that it was an actual
- 50:45Speaker 1: escort in Boston that created these pages of her, that
- 50:49Speaker 1: she was hanging out with the same group of people
- 50:53Speaker 1: that this escort was hanging out with.
- 50:55Speaker 2: So well, and then I'm so glad. Andy said, well,
- 51:00Speaker 2: is it possible that this was somebody that was involved
- 51:03Speaker 2: with your ex?
- 51:04Speaker 1: No, No, not even a chance. I'm like take the offer,
- 51:08Speaker 1: you know, like, yeah, take the w on that and
- 51:11Speaker 1: say maybe you know instead, like she said no, but
- 51:15Speaker 1: I think she must just be trying to protect him
- 51:17Speaker 1: in that. But like here you are. Now, now you've
- 51:20Speaker 1: connected your own self with a group of people who
- 51:23Speaker 1: hang out with another escort. Wouldn't that make it more
- 51:27Speaker 1: available and easy for you to maybe have gone and
- 51:29Speaker 1: done one escort job? Is that what it is? Why
- 51:32Speaker 1: would this person put pages up of you saying that
- 51:34Speaker 1: you're an escort? This is just weird.
- 51:37Speaker 2: It's weird, And it's also like to, yeah to what
- 51:41Speaker 2: you're saying, just say you did it, Like we're going
- 51:43Speaker 2: to figure it out. Somebody's going to drill down on
- 51:46Speaker 2: this and it's going to be out there, Kelsey, So
- 51:48Speaker 2: just you know, if you did it, you did it,
- 51:51Speaker 2: like you can't hide.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I know, I know. Am I wrong by saying like
- 51:56Speaker 1: it's very possible that she was just by saying like
- 51:58Speaker 1: this story about being connected in a group of people
- 52:00Speaker 1: where there was an escort. I mean, look, just because
- 52:03Speaker 1: you hang out with lawyers doesn't mean you're a lawyer.
- 52:07Speaker 1: But I guess what I'm trying to say is it's
- 52:09Speaker 1: just like it's a little odd.
- 52:11Speaker 2: It's really odd someone would create like a fake website
- 52:17Speaker 2: or just like to It's just the whole thing is
- 52:21Speaker 2: just off. But I mean, I'll give her the benefit
- 52:24Speaker 2: of the doubt, but like she would never give Rosie
- 52:28Speaker 2: that benefit of the doubt. No, there was a site
- 52:31Speaker 2: like that with Rosie, like it would be game over.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Oh it would one hundred.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Well, you know that's another thing with like that was
- 52:39Speaker 2: with the Rule of Brian, Joel and Thing. In episode
- 52:42Speaker 2: one of the reunion, Joeln had nothing on Rosie and
- 52:46Speaker 2: she kind of came for her and she's like, well,
- 52:48Speaker 2: I talked to a cop and it was like, it's
- 52:52Speaker 2: just so funny that she was so prepared on the
- 52:54Speaker 2: Rule of Thing and everything else was just like the
- 52:58Speaker 2: telephone game, Right, all of Kelsey's stuff is the telephone game.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all of it.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:04Speaker 1: These these gals, I love every.
- 53:06Speaker 2: One of them. They're grave us dynamite.
- 53:10Speaker 1: There was a lot of like polygamous accusations in this series,
- 53:15Speaker 1: which is so odd considering that we're not even in Utah.
- 53:20Speaker 1: This isn't you know, secret lives of Mormon wives, and
- 53:22Speaker 1: yet we're throwing around polygamous like it is.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Well, and the irony is that now it looks like
- 53:32Speaker 2: Brian is maybe like the closest to it, and that
- 53:36Speaker 2: wasn't even the intent.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Right, No, it sure wasn't. It sure wasn't. Oh one
- 53:42Speaker 1: more thing about Kelsey. So I think Andy's question was
- 53:46Speaker 1: something like, so you had an agreement with your ex
- 53:50Speaker 1: that you would be together and he would have an
- 53:53Speaker 1: open ended situation. And she's like, no, we never had
- 53:57Speaker 1: an agreement, but I did have an agreement with the
- 54:02Speaker 1: other woman. That was so weird, right, They like she
- 54:06Speaker 1: found out about this Miami girl, not Tom Sandoval's Miami girl,
- 54:11Speaker 1: but but like, yeah, we'll have to save that for news.
- 54:18Speaker 1: But then was like, we decided we found out about
- 54:20Speaker 1: each other, got together, had a mutual agreement, and then
- 54:24Speaker 1: decided not to post photos of each other of our
- 54:27Speaker 1: relationships online.
- 54:28Speaker 2: This is what I love about Kelsey. She came in like, yeah,
- 54:31Speaker 2: I got a wild agreement going on, and I live
- 54:34Speaker 2: here and guess what, I've been set up because this
- 54:38Speaker 2: is my boyfriend six months a year. Like, I just
- 54:40Speaker 2: love that she owned it so hard.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and I now.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Have follow up questions like America does. And I feel
- 54:49Speaker 2: like she's just like I talked to the girl. I'm like, whoa, what, Like,
- 54:55Speaker 2: what's this an understandment?
- 54:56Speaker 1: No, this was the first time we heard this, right, Yes, yeah,
- 55:01Speaker 1: that was.
- 55:01Speaker 2: It's the first time we heard the breakdown very like
- 55:05Speaker 2: because in my mind it was like, I mean, like
- 55:08Speaker 2: a Christian gray situation where there's a contract, there's rules,
- 55:12Speaker 2: there's like that's what I'm thinking right right, and now
- 55:16Speaker 2: to find out that it was just like a reconnection
- 55:20Speaker 2: in the villa, it was like, well, everybody's cool and
- 55:26Speaker 2: we're all just kicking in the makeup room together. Now,
- 55:29Speaker 2: like what is going.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I need to do everything now, I know, I know.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I think Kelsey is sitting in a position where she
- 55:38Speaker 1: knows that she has to be on defense, and so
- 55:41Speaker 1: everything coming out of her mouth is just distraction from
- 55:46Speaker 1: what's you know that That's the vibe I'm getting by
- 55:49Speaker 1: the end of the season is that Kelsey is not
- 55:52Speaker 1: transparent and she's just throwing a lot of like, you know,
- 55:57Speaker 1: little firecrackers to get people's attention and their places so
- 56:01Speaker 1: as to distract from like whatever this situation was. Even
- 56:05Speaker 1: though that's how she got on the show, she's trying
- 56:08Speaker 1: to control it in a way, and it's just like
- 56:11Speaker 1: very messy.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, because when she said all those things, she
- 56:17Speaker 2: had no idea what was coming in terms of this show. Now,
- 56:23Speaker 2: she might be more guarded, she might not want to
- 56:25Speaker 2: talk about things I.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Do like that the ex watched Housewives. Oh but he
- 56:29Speaker 1: was going to be on the show. Yeah, before he
- 56:32Speaker 1: found out it was Housewives. And I'm like, well, what
- 56:35Speaker 1: show did you actually think it would be? That you
- 56:38Speaker 1: were willing to put your entire face out there? And
- 56:42Speaker 1: then now that it's Housewives, you you don't want to
- 56:47Speaker 1: be on it at all because you don't think that
- 56:49Speaker 1: you'll be talked about. And this whole season her storyline
- 56:54Speaker 1: was about him.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that was all I thought about, was like that.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Remember when Heather Gate in her book, she said that
- 57:04Speaker 2: they didn't know it was going to be Housewives until
- 57:07Speaker 2: all of a sudden was Yeah. So I'm kind of like, well,
- 57:11Speaker 2: do they film with this guy? Yeah?
- 57:13Speaker 1: They did.
- 57:13Speaker 2: They said that he filmed, Like I mean, is I
- 57:17Speaker 2: guess like I'm wondering, like, is he edited out of things? Oh?
- 57:21Speaker 1: Oh, I see. I don't think that they filmed with
- 57:23Speaker 1: the cast. I think that she and him filmed scenes.
- 57:26Speaker 1: And I'm wondering if they approached her and him about
- 57:33Speaker 1: like their situation right and told them that it was
- 57:37Speaker 1: going to be about having like living in an arrangement
- 57:41Speaker 1: where it's a throuple sort of situation, or he is
- 57:45Speaker 1: that it's more centered on him, that he's got these
- 57:47Speaker 1: two gals that he goes in between, that sounds to
- 57:50Speaker 1: me like that would be a reality show, and that
- 57:54Speaker 1: that would be something that like they would be featuring
- 57:56Speaker 1: several different threples that how they or like you need
- 58:01Speaker 1: non open relationships, yeah, non conventional relationships that exist. And
- 58:06Speaker 1: then he was like, oh, I'm down with that, okay.
- 58:09Speaker 1: But then once it got to like it being housewives,
- 58:12Speaker 1: like you couldn't have asked for a better show, Like
- 58:15Speaker 1: why would you not be involved?
- 58:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 58:18Speaker 1: Weird, Yeah, very weird.
- 58:22Speaker 2: I wonder if that was prior to Dolores's involvement, Like
- 58:26Speaker 2: once they realized it was going to be housewives, that's
- 58:28Speaker 2: when she got involved.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Yeah, totally.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Also, I'd like that Rosie was like, I think control
- 58:33Speaker 2: Dolores's being like her on the show.
- 58:37Speaker 1: That's right. Yeah, I wonder what that was all about.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Something tells me that, like maybe Rosie said something like
- 58:44Speaker 1: why do we need We don't need Dolores on this.
- 58:46Speaker 1: We've got this ourselves, Like she made a comment like that,
- 58:49Speaker 1: which I mean, I don't blame her, like you don't
- 58:51Speaker 1: need another housewife to get your show going, but it's
- 58:54Speaker 1: just good media. But I think she probably said something
- 58:57Speaker 1: a little bit shady about that. That was kind of
- 58:59Speaker 1: a throwaway, and then it got back to somebody and
- 59:01Speaker 1: people are talking, Oh, she doesn't want to film with Flora.
- 59:03Speaker 1: She doesn't think we need it. We're better than that.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Well, I would think at that point Rosie would have
- 59:11Speaker 2: no idea that the show is going to be what
- 59:13Speaker 2: it was. I mean, I heard about this show, I
- 59:16Speaker 2: was like, Okay, well I'll watch it. I had no
- 59:18Speaker 2: idea how amazing it was going to be. I was like,
- 59:20Speaker 2: they absolutely will need the Laurs. I would think Rosie
- 59:23Speaker 2: would be grateful for her.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well Rosie must have known what they had. Yeah,
- 59:29Speaker 1: there you go.
- 59:31Speaker 2: All right.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Well, the last thing I just want to mention was
- 59:35Speaker 1: Andy repeating the pageant announcement of Kelsey announcing her to
- 59:43Speaker 1: the stage like it's not a rumor they got her tumor,
- 59:47Speaker 1: Like that's insane, and that she put off the surgery
- 59:52Speaker 1: so she could do the pageant. Well I'm like, well, look,
- 59:55Speaker 1: if it was like a couple of days, if it
- 59:56Speaker 1: was like a couple of weeks, I mean maybe i'd
- 59:58Speaker 1: do that too. You know, what do you I do? Yeah,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I totally agree.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Yeah. My favorite moment of the whole thing was when
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: they were. Jared leaned over when they were talking about
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: garlic butt and he was like, I gotta be honest,
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: and I was like, you fucking love Rhode Island. Say it.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I love Rhode Island, ass no matter how it smells.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: I gotta be honest. Here it comes.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: That was really awful, like the Joe Allen said that,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Oh god, that was awful. That was awful. That was
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: not great. It was Emily that was nasty. That was
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: nasty and uncalled for, but no one was saying anything.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: For saying the truth. No, it was terrible. Yeah, it
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: was bad, all right, it goes in with the bad breath.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I forget what was that recently? Oh yeah, the on Potomac.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: I put that in with like I don't want to TV.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: This medium has no odors, so I don't want to
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: talk about odors. No, gootdy odors.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: No. Thank you, and we'll leave it there. Thank you
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: so much for listening. Bye for now, guys, Bye bye.
