- 3:35Speaker 2: So we encourage you to follow along with us. Go
- 3:38Speaker 2: grab your bibles, you know, pass in your highlighters as
- 3:44Speaker 2: we dive into it. We're gonna get the nuggets out
- 3:46Speaker 2: of God's word and we're going to allow it to
- 3:54Speaker 2: engraft in our hearts. Because this is our agenda and
- 4:01Speaker 2: this is the mission statement for this podcast. We believe
- 4:06Speaker 2: that if we receive the ingrafted word, and if we
- 4:10Speaker 2: graph the word into our hearts, our souls will be saved.
- 4:14Speaker 2: That's what the Word of God promises, that if we
- 4:17Speaker 2: in graph the word, our souls will be saved. And
- 4:21Speaker 2: that's our goal, our intent, our desire is to save
- 4:25Speaker 2: as many souls as possible. And there are a lot
- 4:30Speaker 2: of people who go to church and they're still not saved.
- 4:34Speaker 2: A lot of people know and heard the Gospel and
- 4:36Speaker 2: they're not saved. And of course there's a lot of
- 4:40Speaker 2: people who reject the gospel and they're not saved. We
- 4:43Speaker 2: want to save some souls, you know what I mean.
- 4:46Speaker 2: We want to do our best to make it in
- 4:49Speaker 2: and also bring people with us right here on the podcast.
- 4:54Speaker 2: So that's our agenda, we tell you upfront, and this
- 5:01Speaker 2: is our goal. We're after your soul. Amen. So let's
- 5:06Speaker 2: go before the Father in prayer and let us dive
- 5:12Speaker 2: on in Heavenly Father. We thank you, Father God for
- 5:19Speaker 2: this time, for this opportunity, Father God, to dive into
- 5:23Speaker 2: your word. We ask Father God that you bring the
- 5:26Speaker 2: increase Father to this podcast. We ask Father God, that
- 5:30Speaker 2: you will strengthen our faith. Let it be anchored in you.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Let it be anchored in your words, your promises, your truth.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Father God. We ask go God, that you will use us,
- 5:43Speaker 2: that you will be with us, and that you will
- 5:46Speaker 2: save us, keep us and bring us safely into your kingdom.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Bless this episode. Let it hit every ear that is
- 5:55Speaker 2: supposed to hit, every heart that is supposed to penetrate,
- 6:00Speaker 2: have to be no hindrance to it. We asked us
- 6:03Speaker 2: in Jesus' name, Amen and ain'men? All right, all right, yes,
- 6:17Speaker 2: definitely want you to stick around in this episode. We
- 6:19Speaker 2: got a brand new song by carrying the Light, one
- 6:22Speaker 2: of my favorite artists. We're gonna be spending that a
- 6:25Speaker 2: little later in the podcast. And also we're gonna give
- 6:31Speaker 2: you an update. We just had our back to school event. Man,
- 6:36Speaker 2: it was great. It was an awesome event. So we're
- 6:40Speaker 2: gonna talk about that during our community shoutouts, So make
- 6:43Speaker 2: sure you still around for that as well. All right,
- 6:49Speaker 2: So Book of Romans, Paul is he is not pulling
- 6:56Speaker 2: any punches in his book. We just got done talking
- 7:01Speaker 2: about judging for you to judge if you do the
- 7:05Speaker 2: same thing that you're sitting there judging other people for
- 7:14Speaker 2: our sin looks bad when it's on other people, and
- 7:19Speaker 2: we can pick up on that. That's why some parents
- 7:24Speaker 2: have a hard time with their children, one of the
- 7:30Speaker 2: children that they're raising, because that child is just like them.
- 7:36Speaker 2: You know how that goes. That child can pick up
- 7:39Speaker 2: their traits, pick up their good habits, bad habits, and
- 7:44Speaker 2: can pick up their particular sin. And once they see
- 7:47Speaker 2: they're sinning someone else, they judge that person, but they
- 7:51Speaker 2: don't take time out to judge themselves. And no, you're
- 7:56Speaker 2: not off the hook with God. If you're judgmental towards
- 8:01Speaker 2: other people and you're still living the same thing. You're
- 8:06Speaker 2: doing the same stuff. And so we're talking about God's
- 8:11Speaker 2: righteous judgment. We're talking about the difference between the Jews
- 8:17Speaker 2: and the Gentiles, which is really no difference. We're gonna
- 8:22Speaker 2: find out that we are all sinners, all that fall
- 8:26Speaker 2: in short the glory of God, and that if you
- 8:30Speaker 2: look at the law properly, we should see that we
- 8:34Speaker 2: are guilty, we are condemned, we are on our way
- 8:36Speaker 2: to Hell in a handbasket. And I don't say that lightly,
- 8:44Speaker 2: but we are on our way to judgment as the
- 8:47Speaker 2: human race, and God is just to do so everything
- 8:54Speaker 2: he does is fair, just and righteous, and we're gonna
- 8:59Speaker 2: see that. And I'm also gonna see the remedy. What
- 9:03Speaker 2: did God do concerning our sinful condition? So we're gonna
- 9:10Speaker 2: see how awesome and how amazing are God truly is.
- 9:15Speaker 2: So hopefully I give you enough time to grab your bibles.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Let's dive into it. We're gonna go, We're gonna read
- 9:21Speaker 2: the verse and then we're gonna come back with some
- 9:25Speaker 2: comments and some commentary. And I always refer to Pastor
- 9:32Speaker 2: Chuck Smith. I believe he's one of my favorite pastors
- 9:38Speaker 2: Bible teachers of this generation. So yes, yes, that's I
- 9:45Speaker 2: studied under Calviary Chapel amazing ministry. All right, so let's
- 9:54Speaker 2: head verse one and two. We're talking about the Jews, right,
- 10:00Speaker 2: So what advantage then has the Jew or what is
- 10:05Speaker 2: the profit of circumcision? As we said in the last
- 10:14Speaker 2: chapter of circumcision is a sign of the Covenant. It
- 10:20Speaker 2: was specifically for the Jews, and Paul is saying, if
- 10:24Speaker 2: you're not circumcising the heart, then your circumcision doesn't count.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Even if you go through the physical act of circumcision,
- 10:35Speaker 2: but you don't keep the law, you don't keep the commandments,
- 10:40Speaker 2: it does not do a thing for you. So that's
- 10:45Speaker 2: how Paul was breaking it down. So in verse two
- 10:50Speaker 2: he says, what advantage then has the Jew or what
- 10:54Speaker 2: is the profit of circumcision? And Paul answers his own
- 10:59Speaker 2: question much in every way, chiefly because to whom to
- 11:07Speaker 2: them were committed the oracles of God. All right, let's
- 11:13Speaker 2: stop there real quick now, Paul answers his rhetorical question.
- 11:22Speaker 2: The Jews had the oracles of God, they had the scriptures,
- 11:29Speaker 2: they have the law. Now that's a huge advantage to
- 11:34Speaker 2: have that, but it doesn't exempt them from judgment. They
- 11:43Speaker 2: thought because they had the law that they were above
- 11:47Speaker 2: judgment or excluded. Right, God is no respector of persons.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Being a Jew doesn't mean that you're automatically saved. It
- 12:02Speaker 2: means you were entrusted with the truth. You were entrusted
- 12:09Speaker 2: with the Word of God. Just because you grew up
- 12:12Speaker 2: in church doesn't mean you're automatically righteous. There's a person
- 12:19Speaker 2: that I talked to about the Gospel, and the first
- 12:24Speaker 2: thing this particular person always says is Oh, my uncle
- 12:28Speaker 2: was a prophet, my uncles were pastors. I have people
- 12:33Speaker 2: in my family that are ministers. But that doesn't make
- 12:38Speaker 2: you saved. That doesn't make you right with God. You're
- 12:41Speaker 2: not gonna get into heaven based on what your family
- 12:45Speaker 2: members do, which is a blessing because you can't be
- 12:52Speaker 2: judged for what your family members do. Either you will
- 12:59Speaker 2: make it or not make it on your own decision
- 13:05Speaker 2: on that day of judgment. But having a family member
- 13:11Speaker 2: in the ministry does it automatically make you write with God. Now,
- 13:18Speaker 2: access to the truth is a blessing, but what you
- 13:24Speaker 2: do with it that is what matters. So, yes, they
- 13:30Speaker 2: had the oracles of God. But you can have the
- 13:38Speaker 2: Word of God and know the word of God. All
- 13:42Speaker 2: that does is makes you more accountable. There's no advantage
- 13:48Speaker 2: of knowing the Word and going to church if you
- 13:51Speaker 2: don't obey it. As a matter of fact, your judgment
- 13:55Speaker 2: is worse than the person who has never heard the gospel,
- 14:01Speaker 2: the person who does not know the will of God.
- 14:04Speaker 2: If you know the will of God and you still
- 14:06Speaker 2: refuse to do the will of God, the judgment is
- 14:11Speaker 2: way worse. The scripture says it's better that you didn't
- 14:18Speaker 2: know than to know and still not do it. So yes,
- 14:26Speaker 2: let's obey the commandments. Let's obey the word of God. Amen.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Now let us go to verse three through four. For
- 14:38Speaker 2: what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make
- 14:43Speaker 2: the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not. Indeed, let
- 14:52Speaker 2: God be true, but every man a liar. As it
- 14:57Speaker 2: is written that you may be justified in your words
- 15:05Speaker 2: and may overcome when you are judged. All right, let's
- 15:13Speaker 2: break this down. Now, what if some did not believe,
- 15:22Speaker 2: which we know. We know a lot of people who
- 15:25Speaker 2: don't believe, right, So it's not a what if? It
- 15:28Speaker 2: is a Okay, there are a lot of people who
- 15:32Speaker 2: don't believe, we see that in our generation. Then should
- 15:36Speaker 2: their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? And
- 15:41Speaker 2: Paul answers a question again, certainly not. Even if people
- 15:47Speaker 2: are unfaithful, God himself remains faithful. His word does not
- 15:55Speaker 2: depend on man, It does not depend on our opinion.
- 16:01Speaker 2: He doesn't ask our opinion. He is a mighty king,
- 16:05Speaker 2: and he makes commandments. He gives commands as a mighty
- 16:14Speaker 2: king should. Right now, god promises are not canceled by
- 16:30Speaker 2: human failure. God's promises are not canceled by human failure.
- 16:39Speaker 2: If we decide not to believe, that is not going
- 16:44Speaker 2: to cancel out God's promises, God's word, and God's truth.
- 16:55Speaker 2: All right, let's go through first verse five through eight.
- 17:01Speaker 2: But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what
- 17:07Speaker 2: shall we say? Is God unjust? Who inflicts wrath? I
- 17:19Speaker 2: speak as a man? Now this is Paul, certainly not?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Then how will God judge the world? For if the
- 17:29Speaker 2: truth of God is increased through my life to his glory,
- 17:36Speaker 2: why am I also still judged as a sinner? And
- 17:40Speaker 2: why not say let us do evil that good may
- 17:44Speaker 2: come as we slenderously, as we are slenderously reported, and
- 17:54Speaker 2: as some affirm that, we say their condemnation is just amen. Okay,
- 18:03Speaker 2: let's break this down verse five through eight. These verses
- 18:11Speaker 2: deal with a twisted logic. You know, the Bible says
- 18:15Speaker 2: that our hearts are evil, desperately wicked. Who can know it? So? Yes,
- 18:22Speaker 2: of course we would come up with something as twisted
- 18:26Speaker 2: as this, and our own reasoning, our own understanding. If
- 18:30Speaker 2: we lean to our own thoughts, our own foolish hearts,
- 18:35Speaker 2: you cannot trust your heart, Beloved, We cannot trust our hearts.
- 18:41Speaker 2: But here's an argument. If my sin makes God looks
- 18:46Speaker 2: look more righteous, then why am I judged? Right? Why
- 18:51Speaker 2: am I judge? If I approve the righteousness of God? Now,
- 18:57Speaker 2: that's playing games with God, and that's playing games with
- 19:01Speaker 2: God's justice. Sin doesn't glorify God. Repentance does. Let me
- 19:08Speaker 2: say this again, Sin does not glorify God. Repentance does.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Only repentance will bring God's glory once we turn from
- 19:19Speaker 2: a life of sin. Now, if you tell a huge
- 19:31Speaker 2: lie and you think you're doing good, your lying causes
- 19:39Speaker 2: people to get saved and receive Christ. You think you're
- 19:43Speaker 2: doing a good deed. But you total lie, like you're
- 19:47Speaker 2: lying about your relationship with God, or you're lying about
- 19:50Speaker 2: this or that or the other. You're still living a
- 19:57Speaker 2: life of sin. You still need to get that right.
- 20:00Speaker 2: You still need to repent. God judged fairly, and he
- 20:08Speaker 2: has no respect to persons. In other words, he's not
- 20:12Speaker 2: gonna look at you and say, oh, I'm gonna let
- 20:14Speaker 2: you get away with it. And when it comes to sin,
- 20:18Speaker 2: we are all equal. We're gonna see that as we
- 20:23Speaker 2: go through this Book of Romans. Now, let's drop down
- 20:27Speaker 2: to verse nine through twenty. We're gonna see it right now,
- 20:37Speaker 2: that all have sin. It says, what then are we
- 20:42Speaker 2: better than they? Not at all. We have previously charged
- 20:50Speaker 2: both you and Greek. They are all under sin, as
- 20:57Speaker 2: it is written. They're paying attention to this. This is
- 21:02Speaker 2: I don't know if you look up the Romans Road
- 21:05Speaker 2: of Salvation wants to get a chance to because this
- 21:10Speaker 2: is a great way to witness to a sinner, to
- 21:14Speaker 2: an unbeliever. Sometimes we just need to release the word
- 21:21Speaker 2: of God. Sometimes we can't argue someone to get saved.
- 21:27Speaker 2: We can't convince a person to get saved. But the
- 21:30Speaker 2: best thing to do is just speak God's word into
- 21:33Speaker 2: the atmosphere. Let that seed be planted in their heart.
- 21:41Speaker 2: And we're gonna read it right now. This is part
- 21:43Speaker 2: of the Romans Road to Salvation, and it says, as
- 21:48Speaker 2: it is written verse ten, there is none righteous, no
- 21:51Speaker 2: not one. So we're all done. We're all cooked, beloved.
- 21:56Speaker 2: It's like it's game over. We need to get saved.
- 22:01Speaker 2: There is none righteous, There is none who understands. There
- 22:06Speaker 2: is none who seeks after God. None the jew origentile.
- 22:13Speaker 2: They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. Wow. Now,
- 22:22Speaker 2: this is how God sees us. This is God's assumption
- 22:25Speaker 2: of the human race. Paying close attention, there is none
- 22:31Speaker 2: who does good, know not one. Their throat is an
- 22:35Speaker 2: open tune. Ooh, their tongues. With their tongues, they have
- 22:43Speaker 2: practiced deceit. The poison of ass is under their lips.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Venomous whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. I've
- 22:58Speaker 2: been there, and I've known a lot of people who
- 23:01Speaker 2: speak this way. Their feet are swift to shed blood,
- 23:05Speaker 2: wild murderers, you know. Just think about all the gang
- 23:09Speaker 2: members that we've known over the years, right verse sixteen.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Destruction and misery are in their ways, in the way
- 23:26Speaker 2: of peace they have not known, which is said, Jesus
- 23:32Speaker 2: is our peace, He's the princip peace. There is no
- 23:37Speaker 2: fear of God before their eyes. That's one of the
- 23:44Speaker 2: things that I have noticed. When there's no fear of God,
- 23:50Speaker 2: people do all kinds of evil things. Now we know
- 23:55Speaker 2: that whatever the law says is said to those who
- 24:01Speaker 2: are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped. Wow.
- 24:08Speaker 2: In all the world may become guilty before God, all
- 24:14Speaker 2: of the world. Therefore, by the deeds of the law,
- 24:19Speaker 2: no flesh will be justified in his sight. For by
- 24:26Speaker 2: the law is the knowledge of sin. Now this breaks
- 24:30Speaker 2: it down the purpose of the law. Now, let's fall
- 24:42Speaker 2: back for a second. There is none righteous, no, not one.
- 24:49Speaker 2: The heart truth is everyone Jew and gentile is under sin.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Quote to multiple Old Testament scriptures. He does that to
- 25:05Speaker 2: show the depravity of man of the human race. Now
- 25:14Speaker 2: the Greek word, if I could pronounce this correctly, H
- 25:23Speaker 2: I ain't gonna try it. I'm gonna spell it out.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I'm gonna let y'all pronounce it H A M A
- 25:27Speaker 2: R T A n O harmer ten. Oh, I think
- 25:35Speaker 2: that's the right pronounce it. To miss the mark we're
- 25:38Speaker 2: talking about sin. We all have sin. We all have
- 25:42Speaker 2: missed the mark of God's holiness. We have fallen short
- 25:49Speaker 2: of the glory of God. We all have done this
- 25:51Speaker 2: in the human race. The law was never meant to
- 25:56Speaker 2: save you. It was meant to show you your sin. Now,
- 26:07Speaker 2: that's what concerns me when it comes to a lot
- 26:11Speaker 2: of false religions out there. They still try to preach
- 26:19Speaker 2: and teach the law as if they can fulfill it.
- 26:22Speaker 2: No one can fulfill the law, And the purpose of
- 26:26Speaker 2: the law was never to get anyone saved. The law
- 26:31Speaker 2: Moses never was never meant to save that one soul
- 26:37Speaker 2: and says it right here we're looking at it. The
- 26:39Speaker 2: purpose of the law was to make you guilty, the
- 26:42Speaker 2: whole world guilty before God. It's like a mirror. The
- 26:47Speaker 2: law reveals who we really are, and no one gets
- 26:52Speaker 2: to pass now this condition. And God, God just shares
- 27:01Speaker 2: with us how he sees us, which is very sad,
- 27:05Speaker 2: a sad state that all have become unprofitable. This should
- 27:15Speaker 2: concern us. How can God, who sees everything, treat us
- 27:30Speaker 2: as if he doesn't see our sinful condition? This brings
- 27:35Speaker 2: a dilemma because God is a righteous judge. God is
- 27:42Speaker 2: a God of justice, So how can a righteous God
- 27:56Speaker 2: who sees everything, how can he act like he hasn't
- 28:01Speaker 2: seen our sinful condition? Everything we just read from verse
- 28:08Speaker 2: nine through twenty poison of ass under our lips. They're
- 28:15Speaker 2: none who seek after God, none righteous, know not one bitterness,
- 28:24Speaker 2: cursing beep that are quick to shed blood. So how
- 28:36Speaker 2: can we do this? How can can God justly pardon
- 28:46Speaker 2: our sin and forgive us? And God just gave us
- 28:51Speaker 2: the whole breakdown of what he sees in our lives. Well,
- 29:01Speaker 2: let's get verse twenty one through twenty six, and I'm
- 29:06Speaker 2: trying to get you. I'm really trying to provoke you
- 29:08Speaker 2: to think and to really understand what God had to
- 29:12Speaker 2: do just to forgive us. Verse two, the one says,
- 29:18Speaker 2: but now the righteousness of God, apart from the law
- 29:23Speaker 2: is revealed. Praise God for that. Let's get a hallelujah
- 29:29Speaker 2: going Amen. So this is apart from the law, being
- 29:36Speaker 2: witnessed by the Law and the prophets. So the law
- 29:42Speaker 2: is to push you towards this righteousness that God has
- 29:48Speaker 2: revealed verse tween you two, even the righteousness of God
- 29:56Speaker 2: through faith in Christ. All right, me, let me read
- 30:06Speaker 2: that again. But the righteousness of God, apart from the
- 30:09Speaker 2: law is revealed being witnessed by the Law and the prophets,
- 30:14Speaker 2: even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ. See,
- 30:21Speaker 2: this is the righteousness that God provides. It's not about
- 30:25Speaker 2: us keeping rules and regulations. Is not about us keeping
- 30:30Speaker 2: the law. When I think of that, I think of
- 30:33Speaker 2: the Black Israelites. They preach the law. There is a
- 30:37Speaker 2: lot of religions out there. They'll preach the law. You
- 30:40Speaker 2: must keep Sabbath, you must keep all these things, but
- 30:45Speaker 2: we cannot keep the law. Even the righteousness of Christ
- 30:50Speaker 2: through faith in Jesus Christ, excuse me, even the righteousness
- 30:55Speaker 2: of God through faith in Jesus Christ. To all and
- 31:00Speaker 2: on all who believe. Our job right now, if we
- 31:04Speaker 2: want to fulfill the law, our job is to believe
- 31:07Speaker 2: in Jesus Christ and is fulfilled. God looks at us
- 31:13Speaker 2: as if we've never sinned. He removes it. Hey, man,
- 31:22Speaker 2: but there is no difference, for all have sin and
- 31:27Speaker 2: fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely
- 31:32Speaker 2: by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
- 31:38Speaker 2: So now God can justify us freely. How can he
- 31:42Speaker 2: justify I mean, we just read the list. We have
- 31:46Speaker 2: poison asked as asked on our lips. We are in
- 31:51Speaker 2: a miserable state as a human race. If we really
- 31:55Speaker 2: truly saw us the way God sees us, we wouldn't
- 31:59Speaker 2: be so proudeful. We wouldn't reject the gospel, the good news.
- 32:06Speaker 2: This is why this is good news. We think that
- 32:10Speaker 2: we are good people because we compare ourselves with ourselves
- 32:15Speaker 2: with other people. If you really want to compare yourself,
- 32:20Speaker 2: you need to compare yourself for Jesus Christ, because he
- 32:24Speaker 2: was perfect and sinless. No, we shouldn't be puffed up.
- 32:36Speaker 2: So I'm twenty four being justified freely by his grace
- 32:40Speaker 2: through the redemption that is in Christ. Jesus Amen, whom
- 32:45Speaker 2: God set forth as a pro PSI pro psionate, pro
- 32:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna get it. I'm gonna get it. Propreciation here
- 32:59Speaker 2: we go. All right, all right, it's too early in
- 33:02Speaker 2: the morning for me. Propreciation, prop propitiation by his blood.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Now this word you don't hear much in church. You know,
- 33:14Speaker 2: here appreached a lot or He is the propitiation. Basically,
- 33:18Speaker 2: he is the substitute. He took on our penalty of
- 33:26Speaker 2: sam That's why Jesus is so great. It's so amazing.
- 33:30Speaker 2: That's why we worship him, we appreciate him when we
- 33:34Speaker 2: praise him. He paid the price through faith to demonstrate
- 33:41Speaker 2: his righteousness. Because in his forbearance God had passed over
- 33:47Speaker 2: the sins that were previously committed. So God forbear right,
- 33:58Speaker 2: he kind of tolerated sins that were previously committed. That's
- 34:02Speaker 2: why you can't look at the Old Testament and come
- 34:06Speaker 2: up with assumptions. When you see the Old Testament prophets
- 34:12Speaker 2: or Old Testament individuals like King David. He had multiple
- 34:17Speaker 2: wives in the New Testament. Of course, we know that
- 34:20Speaker 2: we're supposed to have only one wife. God is not
- 34:24Speaker 2: into polygamy or sister wives, right, That's why you see
- 34:29Speaker 2: them get away with a lot of stuff in the
- 34:31Speaker 2: Old Testament, and God kind of looked over them, but
- 34:36Speaker 2: he still holds them accountable. But there was a grace
- 34:43Speaker 2: given in that era to where God kind of overlooked
- 34:52Speaker 2: the previous sins that were committed. Now twenty six says
- 34:56Speaker 2: to determine at the present time his righteousness, that he
- 35:04Speaker 2: might be just and the justifier of the one who
- 35:11Speaker 2: has faith in Jesus Christ. Now what does that mean.
- 35:16Speaker 2: He must be just and the justifier. You see, God
- 35:25Speaker 2: is a righteous judge, so God has to always be
- 35:31Speaker 2: righteous in his judgments. He could not forgive us in
- 35:36Speaker 2: an unrighteous manner. He had to figure out how to
- 35:40Speaker 2: legally forgive us and how to legally look over our
- 35:44Speaker 2: sins and to justify us. You see, God made the
- 35:49Speaker 2: way through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus is God incarnated.
- 35:57Speaker 2: God himself came to pay the penalty. That's what the
- 36:01Speaker 2: Cross is all about. The Cross is all about God
- 36:08Speaker 2: himself self paying the price for our sin. God says
- 36:16Speaker 2: that the soul that sin, that soul shall die, and
- 36:21Speaker 2: there's no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood.
- 36:26Speaker 2: The Bible tells us that the life is in the blood,
- 36:31Speaker 2: and that blood has to be shed. That means a
- 36:35Speaker 2: life has to be taken. And that price was on
- 36:40Speaker 2: all of our heads. Well it's still on all of
- 36:42Speaker 2: our heads. You can still pay your own penalty. That's
- 36:47Speaker 2: what hell is about. That's why hell was created. People
- 36:51Speaker 2: are going to hell for all eternity because they don't
- 36:56Speaker 2: want to receive the gift or surrendered lives over to
- 37:00Speaker 2: Jesus Christ, who paid that penalty for ourselves for us.
- 37:08Speaker 2: And so God had a dilemma the way he sees us,
- 37:12Speaker 2: How can he justify us or treat us as if
- 37:15Speaker 2: he didn't see us. He has to do it through
- 37:18Speaker 2: Christ Jesus. Justification is a legal term. You are declared righteous,
- 37:28Speaker 2: not because of works. Amen, Let's get a praise right there,
- 37:34Speaker 2: because if it was based on works, we would all fail.
- 37:40Speaker 2: But it's by faith in the Finnish work of Jesus
- 37:47Speaker 2: that is good news. It's faith in the Finnish work
- 37:53Speaker 2: of Jesus. Now, the Greek word for righteous is d
- 37:59Speaker 2: ik iOS y. You need righteousness or right standing before God.
- 38:10Speaker 2: It's not by trying, it's by trusting. That's a T
- 38:15Speaker 2: shirt right there. It's not by us trying to be righteous,
- 38:21Speaker 2: is by us trusting God. That's how we become righteous. Say, man,
- 38:27Speaker 2: this is good news. Beleove it. I hope you're really
- 38:30Speaker 2: picking this up, and I hope that this will help
- 38:34Speaker 2: you because a lot of the occults and false religions
- 38:39Speaker 2: will not preach faith in Christ to make your righteous.
- 38:44Speaker 2: They're gonna teach you the law. They're gonna make it
- 38:50Speaker 2: where you got to work to earn your salvation in
- 38:53Speaker 2: to leave you with uncertainty. You don't know how much
- 38:56Speaker 2: work like. You never know if you're guaranteed that you're
- 39:01Speaker 2: gonna make it in. They serve some cruel gods that
- 39:07Speaker 2: don't even help them. But Christianity, the boor the God,
- 39:11Speaker 2: the Jesus or the Bible makes us righteous right standing
- 39:15Speaker 2: with God, and he gives us power. He helps us
- 39:20Speaker 2: to live this life of righteousness. Hallelujah. Man, I am
- 39:24Speaker 2: so thankful and blessed that I do know the truth,
- 39:30Speaker 2: and that we know the true Gospel, the true Jesus
- 39:34Speaker 2: of the Bible. He's loving, he paid this penalty. He's
- 39:41Speaker 2: willing to help us live this life. Amen. All right,
- 39:46Speaker 2: let's finish this chapter twenty seven through thirty one, where
- 39:52Speaker 2: is boasting men. It is excluded by what law of works? No,
- 40:05Speaker 2: but by the law of faith. Therefore he conclude that
- 40:12Speaker 2: a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds
- 40:18Speaker 2: of the law. And read it right there, This is
- 40:22Speaker 2: the word of God. This is beautiful beloved. Or is
- 40:28Speaker 2: he the God of the Jews only? Is he not
- 40:33Speaker 2: also the God of the gentiles? Yes, of the gentiles.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Also see Paul answers his old question. I love it
- 40:42Speaker 2: since there is one God who will justify the circumcised
- 40:51Speaker 2: by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. That's just another
- 40:58Speaker 2: way to say the Jews in the Gentile right, the
- 41:01Speaker 2: circumcise or uncircumcised. We all got to come by faith.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Do we didn't make void the law through faith? Certainly not,
- 41:12Speaker 2: He answers his question. These are rhetorical questions. Now let's
- 41:16Speaker 2: look at that. Do we then make avoid the law
- 41:20Speaker 2: through faith? Certainly not? See That's why you really got
- 41:24Speaker 2: to get a balance. You got to understand it, You
- 41:27Speaker 2: got to dig into God's word. On the contrary, we
- 41:31Speaker 2: establish the law. So if if the law is not
- 41:39Speaker 2: void through faith, then what does it mean that we
- 41:48Speaker 2: must establish the law. He just told us that the
- 41:52Speaker 2: law cannot save us. All right, Well, let's part here
- 41:58Speaker 2: for a second. Let me give me some final comments
- 42:02Speaker 2: on this chapter, and then we'll going to our other segments.
- 42:05Speaker 2: It says, where is boasting men? It is excluded. We
- 42:09Speaker 2: can't brag about God's grace. We can't sit around in heaven.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Thank God, We're not going to sit around in heaven
- 42:17Speaker 2: listen to people boast and brag about what they had
- 42:20Speaker 2: to do to get there, what they had to sacrifice,
- 42:23Speaker 2: and what they had to do, and this and that
- 42:26Speaker 2: and the other. No, it's not something that we've earned
- 42:30Speaker 2: through our works. It is a gift that is to
- 42:33Speaker 2: be received. We receive our faith now. The same God
- 42:39Speaker 2: justifies both the jew and the gentile by faith, and
- 42:46Speaker 2: it has always been by faith. If you think about
- 42:49Speaker 2: Father Abraham, it says that he believed God and it
- 42:53Speaker 2: was accounted unto him as righteousness. Without faith, it's impossible
- 42:58Speaker 2: to please God. God just wants us to believe in Him. Now,
- 43:05Speaker 2: the law. Why is it that the law is not void?
- 43:14Speaker 2: But the law is still in effect even though we're
- 43:19Speaker 2: saved through faith. The job of the law is to
- 43:23Speaker 2: point us to Christ. We need to look at the
- 43:26Speaker 2: law and we should run to the Savior. If we're
- 43:31Speaker 2: smart enough to know that we cannot keep the law.
- 43:33Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Like this should open up
- 43:40Speaker 2: our eyes. The law points us to Christ, but grace
- 43:46Speaker 2: gives us the power to live for him. Amen. Let
- 43:51Speaker 2: me say that again. The law will point us to
- 43:53Speaker 2: Christ because we know we can't keep the law, but
- 43:58Speaker 2: then we receive grace. That is God's power to help
- 44:05Speaker 2: us to live for him. We got to go to
- 44:11Speaker 2: him to receive salvation, and we got to live for
- 44:16Speaker 2: him as well to make it into the kingdom so
- 44:21Speaker 2: that we don't lose our salvation. Amen, hallelujah. All right,
- 44:29Speaker 2: it's time for music break. As I promised, we got
- 44:33Speaker 2: a new cut here by curing the light out of
- 44:39Speaker 2: the wilderness. Let's check out what our brother got to
- 44:44Speaker 2: say right here live onto his high radio podcast.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Now out the wilderness, we get in back and repentance
- 44:59Speaker 3: bring me back to because when I don't listen, it
- 45:01Speaker 3: feel like we're back in the trenches.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Ain't never gone.
- 45:03Speaker 3: I'm the one that's getting hurt. But I'm not worried
- 45:04Speaker 3: at the mention. I'm not worried because it looked like
- 45:06Speaker 3: I'm putting in work. But he the one turning the wrench.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Is he the one?
- 45:08Speaker 4: He the one put me in conversation. He the one
- 45:10Speaker 4: took me out of hate shit. He the one cook.
- 45:12Speaker 4: He don't need an eighth breakrice. This rising looked like inflation.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Usually I got a plan till God put his nose
- 45:17Speaker 4: in it. I'm gonna let him cook.
- 45:18Speaker 3: I normally don't understand, but I'm gonna still go with it.
- 45:20Speaker 3: I'm gonna flow in it, even when I move loosely.
- 45:22Speaker 4: I'm ten toes in it, my soul in it. I
- 45:24Speaker 4: barely even eat sushi, and I'm gonna roll with it.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Many days I lose hope when I felt test, That's
- 45:29Speaker 3: when I feel regret.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Devil really wrote smoke. I don't even mess with cigarettes.
- 45:33Speaker 3: He won't never see if he might even find piece
- 45:35Speaker 3: in this. If you stop critique and let the song play.
- 45:37Speaker 3: KRL did the beat again. I told him, go ahead
- 45:39Speaker 3: and do the whole tape. Let's raise the bar god
- 45:41Speaker 3: pulling strings. I ain't even know he played guitar Jeremiah
- 45:43Speaker 3: one nine, Remember the day you both come out of
- 45:46Speaker 3: the wilderness.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Still got time.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Until we don't Now I'm out the wilderness. I ain't
- 46:00Speaker 3: letting off the pedals. I ain't letting off easy to
- 46:02Speaker 3: follow the trends, but we gotta show, and we rebels
- 46:04Speaker 3: showing you.
- 46:04Speaker 4: My spirit have been feeling the lead.
- 46:06Speaker 3: But you know what come with new level and level
- 46:07Speaker 3: that the devil want me in defeat. But I don't
- 46:09Speaker 3: see it on my schedule.
- 46:10Speaker 4: I don't need to see. If I want to spread
- 46:11Speaker 4: the word, I don't really need the reason I don't need.
- 46:14Speaker 4: He set them the start of the earth, and I
- 46:15Speaker 4: see a need for season. Watch out for the Jezebels
- 46:18Speaker 4: and the night. Lets everyone be in.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Deceive and everybody just tell them that crisis King like
- 46:21Speaker 3: it related to Steve and risis. All of my sins
- 46:24Speaker 3: were slaying when I started following Jeeves, so I gotta
- 46:26Speaker 3: He told me it's already paid. He the ones wiping
- 46:28Speaker 3: the beats like the beat. He told me, get back
- 46:30Speaker 3: on the scene. Just make sure you follow the tea
- 46:32Speaker 3: till I gotta so God. It's where I lean. We
- 46:34Speaker 3: look like the Tower of Piece.
- 46:35Speaker 4: I did what the Lord tell and I do it.
- 46:37Speaker 3: With spiritual conduct, but like I work with the cardtail,
- 46:40Speaker 3: the way I distributed his pride up. I submit, James
- 46:42Speaker 3: Folks seven, sin don't exist. If I want to enlitt
- 46:44Speaker 3: That's how I commit, That's how I repent. I gotta
- 46:46Speaker 3: resist until it just meant come out of the wilderness.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I am out of the wilderness by a brother kiering
- 47:07Speaker 2: the lights. My man is tearing things up. One of
- 47:13Speaker 2: my favorite artists that is currently doing things. I really
- 47:21Speaker 2: like what he's putting out and he's talking raw. If
- 47:26Speaker 2: you really want to look at a Christian rapper, look
- 47:31Speaker 2: at my brother Kieran because he's talking about preaching against sin,
- 47:38Speaker 2: preaching against his world Babylonian world system. I really dig
- 47:43Speaker 2: his music, so make sure you check him out. Now
- 47:48Speaker 2: it's time for the accountability Partner segment. So now text
- 47:56Speaker 2: or call her accountability partner. If you don't have one,
- 48:01Speaker 2: you have one here on the podcast. All you have
- 48:03Speaker 2: to do is go to the top left menu. Once
- 48:08Speaker 2: it drops down, go to the His Hot Radio podcast
- 48:12Speaker 2: and then fill out that accountability form. There is even
- 48:15Speaker 2: an option if you want us to call you myself
- 48:19Speaker 2: or someone from the team to pray with you, help
- 48:22Speaker 2: you walk through this walk because we all need it right.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Sometimes we fall to temptations. Sometimes we get tempted, and
- 48:32Speaker 2: we get victorious over it. The Bible says, confess your
- 48:36Speaker 2: fault to one another and pray for one another. We're
- 48:39Speaker 2: supposed to be fellowship being in iron sharpening iron, and
- 48:45Speaker 2: that's what this segment is for. It is a part
- 48:48Speaker 2: of discipleship. So what you need to ask your accountability
- 48:57Speaker 2: partner is are you relying on your own goodness? Are
- 49:04Speaker 2: you trusting God in God's righteousness? When you ask that again,
- 49:11Speaker 2: are you relying on your own goodness? Are you trusting
- 49:17Speaker 2: in God's righteousness? God's righteousness is by faith right, Our
- 49:22Speaker 2: own goodness is by trying to keep the law. Your
- 49:25Speaker 2: good deeds or hopefully your good deeds will weigh out
- 49:29Speaker 2: your bad deeds. Just call, text them, talk about Romans
- 49:37Speaker 2: chapter three, talk about this chapter, be real about it,
- 49:40Speaker 2: and pray together. And I'm going to actually post this
- 49:48Speaker 2: in the Life Chat. Now let's get some news real quick.
- 50:02Speaker 2: We want to let y'all know that his Hot Radio
- 50:07Speaker 2: is a charting and monitoring radio station, So we do charts.
- 50:17Speaker 2: If you monitor your spends count we pay royalties on
- 50:22Speaker 2: our station. And I just got in contact with one
- 50:27Speaker 2: of the the charts that we use just to get
- 50:32Speaker 2: an update. I know the I know the CEO actually
- 50:37Speaker 2: personally just get an update. I asked him, Hey, how
- 50:40Speaker 2: is the Christian hip hop charts going on on your chart?
- 50:47Speaker 2: And then I got a interesting response by him. He
- 50:50Speaker 2: said that it's almost non existent, Like it's like there
- 50:55Speaker 2: really isn't anyone charting, like our genre really needs help.
- 51:02Speaker 2: It doesn't discourage it discourage me. It means that we
- 51:06Speaker 2: could be the ones. We could be the examples. We
- 51:10Speaker 2: could be the trays trail blazers, if I can speak right,
- 51:18Speaker 2: we could be the trail blazers. We can be the
- 51:20Speaker 2: ones to get that chart popping. So make sure you
- 51:24Speaker 2: submit your music. Go to his Hot mixtion dot com,
- 51:28Speaker 2: hit that submissions tab, fill out all the information and
- 51:32Speaker 2: consider purchasing one of the advertisement packages. It helps us
- 51:38Speaker 2: and it'll help you go up on the chart so
- 51:42Speaker 2: that all the other genres will take us more serious.
- 51:45Speaker 2: When we take over the chart amen. All right, time
- 51:52Speaker 2: for a trivia question. What does the word justified mean?
- 52:00Speaker 2: Romans chapter three, Verse twenty four. What does the word
- 52:07Speaker 2: justified mean? And this is a good one in verse
- 52:14Speaker 2: twenty four of Romans chapter three. I'm actually giving me
- 52:23Speaker 2: a second so I can post this in the live
- 52:28Speaker 2: chat a trivia question. Now it's time for our community
- 52:48Speaker 2: shout out. Like I said at the beginning of this podcast,
- 52:56Speaker 2: we had an amazing event with partner. We partnered with
- 53:01Speaker 2: fresh Win Community Church. This is our home church. Also
- 53:06Speaker 2: the owner of Bounce House. She has you know, the
- 53:13Speaker 2: bouncy the castles and stuff like that. She set up
- 53:17Speaker 2: in a parking lot. Shout out to our sister ness,
- 53:20Speaker 2: our pastor Paul Kelker and his hot Nation. Pastor really
- 53:29Speaker 2: has a heart to serve and to really be a
- 53:31Speaker 2: community church. It takes a lot of hard work. I'm
- 53:34Speaker 2: not gonna lie. It was hot. That's one thing that
- 53:37Speaker 2: people did complain about. And yes, it was hot. It
- 53:41Speaker 2: was blazing out there. I came and I set up
- 53:46Speaker 2: my equipment. After getting off work that day, it was
- 53:51Speaker 2: like a overtime to go in for overtime, So went
- 53:57Speaker 2: in for about four hours, had like four in the morning,
- 54:01Speaker 2: a little tired, retired from the Friday night shout out
- 54:04Speaker 2: to missus. How my wife, so she had to stay
- 54:09Speaker 2: up all night all week getting things together, organizing things,
- 54:15Speaker 2: making the connections, bringing the resources together. Very talented in
- 54:19Speaker 2: that area, and they were Friday night getting things prepared, decorated,
- 54:26Speaker 2: things organized and sorted out. So this is just a
- 54:31Speaker 2: little bit behind the scenes. When we had to set
- 54:36Speaker 2: up the room for the barbers and the beauticians to
- 54:38Speaker 2: come in and do hair. People got their haircuts, got
- 54:43Speaker 2: their hair done ready for school on the shout out
- 54:47Speaker 2: our sister Quincy. She's a true soldier. She was in
- 54:51Speaker 2: there doing hair most of the day, hooking the people up,
- 54:55Speaker 2: and they were even giving out vouchers for people who
- 55:00Speaker 2: may have waited and weren't able to get their hair
- 55:03Speaker 2: done because they had a transition to the next segment.
- 55:10Speaker 2: So people came in, people came through the back and
- 55:13Speaker 2: they got registered and it was fun. It was amazing.
- 55:18Speaker 2: They had some food out there in the back. During
- 55:21Speaker 2: this time, I had to actually pull security. We had
- 55:25Speaker 2: to direct traffic and stuff like that, so people probably
- 55:30Speaker 2: didn't really see me during that time, but I was there,
- 55:33Speaker 2: had my mister his hot DJ shirt on. So then
- 55:39Speaker 2: so everyone was seen and started at two o'clock. That
- 55:43Speaker 2: is our project presented by his Hot Nation nonprofit organization.
- 55:53Speaker 2: This is when we go out and we paint the truth.
- 55:57Speaker 2: We give out canvases, they give the paint the pink
- 56:01Speaker 2: brushes to the crowd. So the people came and sat
- 56:06Speaker 2: down and so the theme of it with suicide. We've
- 56:12Speaker 2: had multiple people come and give their testimony how they
- 56:16Speaker 2: were at tempted to end their lives. And the one
- 56:19Speaker 2: that was really touching was the youth, the young children, teenagers,
- 56:25Speaker 2: broken families and broken homes, different reasons why they just
- 56:29Speaker 2: wanted to in their lives human purely, but they got
- 56:37Speaker 2: the victory through Christ. And so the instructions were to
- 56:41Speaker 2: paint your truth, Paint the truth of God's word, Paint
- 56:45Speaker 2: the truth that you matter, that you are loved, that
- 56:48Speaker 2: you are accepted, that God loves you. You know, we've

- 56:59Speaker 2: Metro Police Department came out, eighteen T came out, and
- 57:04Speaker 2: we've had a representative from Buffalo Wild Wings and came out.
- 57:07Speaker 2: We had some raffles, we gave away food and we
- 57:11Speaker 2: had some fun and so after that we went into

- 57:19Speaker 2: outcomes in. It's I got on the ones and twos.
- 57:25Speaker 2: The youth were already hype already, like I just started
- 57:28Speaker 2: playing a mix, spinning some tunes in there, just jumping
- 57:34Speaker 2: and getting hyped, dancing and just getting touched by the music.
- 57:40Speaker 2: I mean, I'm talking about from four years old all
- 57:42Speaker 2: the way up to fifteen, sixteen seventeen, like everybody was
- 57:47Speaker 2: into it. And then we had our sister start off
- 57:53Speaker 2: the night, our sister Dizzy Live. She came out, smoke
- 58:01Speaker 2: that mic. And then we had our brother Repent. After
- 58:05Speaker 2: him was our brother Jazz. We weren't able to get
- 58:10Speaker 2: Lamana up there, but we're gonna get him up there
- 58:12Speaker 2: next time. And man, and we just jammed the night out.
- 58:17Speaker 2: We jammed it out. We just ministered the word, handed
- 58:23Speaker 2: out raffles again towards the end, and man, that was amazing.
