A tense Sunday in Blount County turned violent when trespassers opened fire after being told to leave private property — luckily, no one was hurt. The owner chased them down, leading police to a truck stop where two suspects fled into the woods, sparking a massive multi-agency manhunt with drones and air support. One suspect was caught near I-65 with a stolen Birmingham vehicle, a recovered trailer, and weapons; he also led authorities to the second suspect, still at large.
