- 3:14Speaker 1: we are joined by uh, my esteem colleague, one of
- 3:19Speaker 1: my besties, the man who sorts your mail, the postman
- 3:23Speaker 1: himself w P checks live from his kitchen, cooking in
- 3:27Speaker 1: the kitchen, baby, what's good cooking? Shit? You're on that
- 3:32Speaker 1: Keto diet Keto going strong man? So what do you mean?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Got my friend Tito right here? No home. You're at
- 3:41Speaker 1: home on a Thursday morning at one am, drinking Tito's
- 3:44Speaker 1: by yourself. It's only right, man, it's Keto life ran
- 3:48Speaker 1: out of white cloth. What are you gonna do? Is that? Wait?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Are you drinking vodka? Straight up? Uh? I cut it
- 3:55Speaker 1: with some Lacroix. Bro. That's the bougiest bitch ever. I
- 4:02Speaker 1: don't know. I'm not even drinking Jesus, I feel like
- 4:05Speaker 1: a bum. Get them claws out right anyway? Anyway? M yeah, So, uh,
- 4:15Speaker 1: crazy week last week For anyone who's not following me
- 4:19Speaker 1: on social media, I got jacked. Uh. I talked about
- 4:24Speaker 1: it a little bit, but uh, making it clear, dog,
- 4:26Speaker 1: because a lot of people are slandering you out there. Yeah,
- 4:31Speaker 1: so you know I got I went to the bank.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Mind you, I have a bunch of different businesses, right,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I got my recording studio, I got my record label,
- 4:43Speaker 1: publishing company, my radio shit, my podcast, et cetera. And Uh,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I had just been stacking up a bunch of money
- 4:53Speaker 1: at my crib. Like I know, I probably had about
- 4:57Speaker 1: fifteen grand. I had a twenty five grand, and I
- 5:01Speaker 1: was just depositing it over time because I didn't want
- 5:03Speaker 1: the irs on my head, keeping it, keeping it. Yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 1: So I went to go to the bank to open
- 5:10Speaker 1: up a new LLC account for publishing company that I
- 5:14Speaker 1: started with with somebody, and I was like, okay, cool,
- 5:18Speaker 1: this is my opportunity to posit all this cash. Because
- 5:20Speaker 1: the banks had been fucked up lately, fucking line around
- 5:24Speaker 1: the street, every goddamn bank you go to. And uh,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I went to the bank ended up not opening the
- 5:30Speaker 1: account because the person who I was opening the account
- 5:33Speaker 1: with had outstanding overdraft fees. So I was like, hey,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I told the banker. I said, hey, look, you know
- 5:41Speaker 1: I got five of their accounts. Here, can I give
- 5:43Speaker 1: you this money to deposit? She was like, no, you
- 5:45Speaker 1: gotta wait for a teller. So I walked out, saw
- 5:48Speaker 1: that the line for the teller was crazy, and I
- 5:51Speaker 1: was like, man, fuck this, I'm out now, mind you.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I got the bag or the money in a bag
- 5:56Speaker 1: like a like a little drawstring little backpack thing of
- 6:01Speaker 1: the little cheap joints. Yes, so you can see, like
- 6:05Speaker 1: you can, it's clear what's in there. It's very clear
- 6:09Speaker 1: that I have money. But I'm in Burbank. It's fucking
- 6:13Speaker 1: I'm not thinking nothing of it, right, Get in the car,
- 6:17Speaker 1: get gassed. Then I stop off at the UPS store
- 6:21Speaker 1: to get some fucking papers notarized because they notarized it
- 6:27Speaker 1: at the UPS store, and ran inside. Man. And at
- 6:34Speaker 1: that point in time, I guess somebody had followed me
- 6:38Speaker 1: from the bank. I guess there was somebody. According to
- 6:41Speaker 1: what the cops say, there was a girl who was
- 6:44Speaker 1: their lookout right, who was like telling them who to follow,
- 6:49Speaker 1: right right. That girl got in the car. That car
- 6:51Speaker 1: followed me from point A to point B to point C,
- 6:54Speaker 1: which is where they jacked me. They got all that cash,
- 6:59Speaker 1: they got uh uh my backpack that had my laptop, camera,
- 7:06Speaker 1: memory cards, hard drives, my passport, all kinds of shit.
- 7:11Speaker 1: It's like my bag is like I take my backpack everywhere.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I like work out of that bag and they just
- 7:16Speaker 1: hit a fucking stupid lick man. And yeah, it's unfortunate.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It sucks. I mean shit a lot of people, but
- 7:27Speaker 1: a lot of That's the thing is I posted about it,
- 7:29Speaker 1: obviously because I'm like, yo, I'm a post about it
- 7:31Speaker 1: because power of social media. I just want to get
- 7:33Speaker 1: my ship back. I don't even care about the money,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like, obviously I care about
- 7:37Speaker 1: the money, but the chances of getting my money back
- 7:39Speaker 1: are fucking right. So I'm like, you know what, keep
- 7:43Speaker 1: your keep the money, just give me my ship back
- 7:46Speaker 1: because I want my I want to know who's got
- 7:49Speaker 1: my passport, you know what I'm saying. I want to
- 7:51Speaker 1: I want my hard drives, I want my laptop up,
- 7:53Speaker 1: my music library and my photos and all that shit.
- 7:57Speaker 1: But yeah, it's just, you know, it's really been honestly, Oh,
- 8:00Speaker 1: it's like I've been like obsessing over this shit. It
- 8:02Speaker 1: happened last week, every single day, obsessing over trying to
- 8:05Speaker 1: figure out whose people are I cannot imagine. So I
- 8:10Speaker 1: got the video of the gas station of the car,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you know, I mean, listen, man, I'm hoping I find
- 8:15Speaker 1: out who these motherfuckers are. The police really ain't helping
- 8:17Speaker 1: me much. Uh, And you know, yeah, a lot of people, man,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I posted about it. Killer Mike reposted it, Sean King reposted,
- 8:25Speaker 1: a lot of people reposted it. But I was having
- 8:27Speaker 1: so many people talk so reckless to me, bro, like Yo,
- 8:31Speaker 1: why the fuck you carrying around that amount of money?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Like are you out there? Are you a fucking idiot? Like, like, dude,
- 8:40Speaker 1: obviously I was. I was followed from the bank fam
- 8:47Speaker 1: so like, well, I think a lot of people think
- 8:50Speaker 1: you got held up and just straight up like I
- 8:53Speaker 1: also think like a lot of people think I'm poor. Yeah, well,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and then the opposite now and they think you got
- 9:01Speaker 1: it like that when you said I don't care about
- 9:03Speaker 1: the money, I just want my stuff back. Yeah right, listen,
- 9:06Speaker 1: I got I'm not a poor person by any you know,
- 9:09Speaker 1: I don't want to make that sounds like a horrible
- 9:12Speaker 1: thing to say, but I'm not like struggling, you know
- 9:16Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Yeah, But like some like he had
- 9:19Speaker 1: just a lot of people on Instagram man just talking
- 9:22Speaker 1: shit like yo, man, why does this guy got that
- 9:24Speaker 1: much money on him at once? Like yo? Because motherfucker,
- 9:29Speaker 1: Like I like, I have businesses, I run, making business moves.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I literally just got of my One of my artists
- 9:37Speaker 1: just got an advance and paid me in cash as
- 9:39Speaker 1: like a token, you know what I'm saying, Like, Yo,
- 9:42Speaker 1: two hundred dollars in ones to represent you know, all
- 9:46Speaker 1: the number one songs we're gonna get, and the rest
- 9:48Speaker 1: was all in hundreds. And that was in that money,
- 9:50Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So it's like, bruh, it
- 9:53Speaker 1: is what it is for me. It's like I just
- 9:57Speaker 1: feel violated. I'm like, Okay, somebody out there jacked my shit,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and now they kind of they got if they if
- 10:06Speaker 1: they really gave a fuck, they know where I live
- 10:08Speaker 1: because one hundred percent some shit in that backpack has
- 10:11Speaker 1: my address on it. I have mail in there. Oh yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 1: I don't think my passport had my address because I
- 10:16Speaker 1: have my passport before I live where I'm at. But
- 10:18Speaker 1: like now I'm like paranoid as fuck. I'm like, bro,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I wish like I you know, I have a gun
- 10:26Speaker 1: at my house. But now like fuck having a permit
- 10:30Speaker 1: in California, Like I'm carrying that bit wherever I go. Yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 1: you're gonna have to upgrade from La bousy get a
- 10:36Speaker 1: bigger dog. I'm not fuck the dog like I should. Bro.
- 10:40Speaker 1: At the end of the day, it's just very, very
- 10:42Speaker 1: like unsettling, you know what I'm saying, because it's like,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I don't know, man, it's like you just feel violated.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Anybody who's ever gotten something similar like this happened to them.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It's violating feeling and uh yeah, I ain't even gonna lie.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Bro's like it sucks because it's like all I'm like
- 11:00Speaker 1: on every day, all day, I'm just thinking about how
- 11:02Speaker 1: to figure out who these motherfuckers are. That's all I'm
- 11:04Speaker 1: thinking about. So, you know, it's unfortunate someone hit a
- 11:08Speaker 1: stupid lick and they better hope I never find out
- 11:11Speaker 1: who the fuck they are. That's all I'm gonna say.
- 11:13Speaker 1: But yeah, you know, shout out to everybody who shared
- 11:16Speaker 1: the post and hopefully you know, something comes up. But
- 11:22Speaker 1: the police are useless. Defund the police. They're absolutely useless.
- 11:29Speaker 1: So the cop came and was like interviewing me, asked
- 11:33Speaker 1: me like two questions and then treated me like I
- 11:34Speaker 1: was a drug dealer the rest of the time, like, Yo,
- 11:37Speaker 1: why you got that much money? What are you doing?
- 11:39Speaker 1: What's in your car? I'm like, bro, Bro, are you
- 11:42Speaker 1: gonna get on your fucking radio and give your your
- 11:45Speaker 1: your fucking dudes, you know, a little heads up on
- 11:48Speaker 1: the type of car that just left here with all
- 11:50Speaker 1: my shit in it? Or you're gonna just talk to
- 11:52Speaker 1: me and not do shit. Yeah, and start interrogating you
- 11:55Speaker 1: like uh and then try brouh, listen, it is what
- 12:01Speaker 1: it is, man, shout out to the bitch asz police anyway. Um,
- 12:07Speaker 1: so that happened and that shit sucked, and then uh,
- 12:10Speaker 1: you know, outside of that, trying to figure out whose
- 12:12Speaker 1: cocksuckers are, man. But yeah, what's going on in the world.
- 12:20Speaker 1: We just celebrated, Uh, twenty five years of Ray Kwon's
- 12:25Speaker 1: only Built for Cuban links. That's wild, man. I can't
- 12:28Speaker 1: believe it's been twenty five. So that is, uh, you know,
- 12:37Speaker 1: one of the greatest hip hop albums ever. I would
- 12:41Speaker 1: say it's in the top twenty easy to twenty five
- 12:45Speaker 1: of all time. I don't have it in my top
- 12:48Speaker 1: ten per se, but a lot of people do. And
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm not mad at them. I mean it's become so
- 12:54Speaker 1: like the Purple Tape is synonymous with greatness at this
- 12:58Speaker 1: point one. So I thought it would be dope since
- 13:07Speaker 1: obviously it's not a Wu Tang album. It's but you
- 13:11Speaker 1: know it's a it's a it's a Wu Tang album.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I thought it'd be dope if we tried to rank
- 13:16Speaker 1: our top ten favorite Wu Tang albums. Now, it's important
- 13:23Speaker 1: that we distinguish the categories of what qualifies as a
- 13:26Speaker 1: Wu Tang album. I just did WU solo and WU albums. Okay,
- 13:32Speaker 1: So is Cappa Donna considered? Are we including Cappa Donna
- 13:36Speaker 1: in the in in Wu Tang? He's not in your
- 13:39Speaker 1: top ten, so that's that's irrelevant. The pillage might might
- 13:43Speaker 1: sneak in, it's not in your top ten, okay, Okay,
- 13:48Speaker 1: So we're not including Cappa Donna. No Cappa Donna, and
- 13:52Speaker 1: we're not including Sons of Man, Kill a Army, kill
- 13:54Speaker 1: a Priest, et cetera. Nope, none of that. So just
- 13:58Speaker 1: the nine main members and group albums and those ranked
- 14:02Speaker 1: correct correct, and we're gonna go ten. You on my
- 14:10Speaker 1: ten first, Yeah, give me your ten, all right? Go ten?
- 14:15Speaker 1: To one. No, No, we're going ten to ten, ten
- 14:19Speaker 1: to ten? What are you what are you talking about
- 14:21Speaker 1: my ten year ten? No? I mean you go from ten,
- 14:23Speaker 1: your ten, you're to one. That's what I'm saying. We
- 14:26Speaker 1: gotta build this up, Doug, all right, go all right.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with this is This is my only
- 14:33Speaker 1: battle that I've had thinking about this. But I gotta
- 14:37Speaker 1: say I'm sorry to mister hot Nichols to Cal, You're
- 14:43Speaker 1: off the list. We go on the W, the W
- 14:47Speaker 1: go on the W. Yeah, Man, I was listening back
- 14:51Speaker 1: in the past couple of days when we were talking
- 14:53Speaker 1: about this and the W. I just love so many
- 14:56Speaker 1: songs out here, like I can't go to sleep one
- 14:59Speaker 1: of my favorite joints, Protect your neck, gravel Pit, hollow Bones.
- 15:05Speaker 1: So you put so So you're saying to Cow. Method
- 15:08Speaker 1: Man's to Cow is not on your list at all?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Out on my list? Interesting, it was rough Man, but
- 15:15Speaker 1: just going track for track, like listen to Cal again.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It just it didn't hit me like it used to. Mmmm,
- 15:23Speaker 1: that's what it talks about about. Method Man. I feel
- 15:25Speaker 1: like Method Man's solo. Oh how about this for a question,
- 15:30Speaker 1: is method Man and Red Man included or no, nope,
- 15:33Speaker 1: that's not included. Blackout would have been on my list,
- 15:35Speaker 1: but Blackout one and two is not included, not included. Okay,
- 15:40Speaker 1: all right, well that's fair. So you're you're saying the
- 15:44Speaker 1: W as ten the W which, by the way, was Uh,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I guess it's probably a slept On album at this point,
- 15:51Speaker 1: Super slept On. There was a lot of hate when
- 15:53Speaker 1: the album came out. Yeah for sure, all right, what
- 15:56Speaker 1: about nine? Oh it's your ten? No man, we're going
- 16:01Speaker 1: ten to ten? Yeah? Oh yeah, head to head for me,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna put I'll give to Cal number ten. Actually
- 16:21Speaker 1: yeah to Cal method Man to Cal number ten. Just
- 16:25Speaker 1: sneaking in, huh yeah. Unfortunately, I think Method Man's solo
- 16:32Speaker 1: career has been extremely disappointed to Cow's clearly his best
- 16:38Speaker 1: solo album. Two thousand was all right, I liked two thousand, actually,
- 16:42Speaker 1: if I'm being honest, I liked a few records on
- 16:44Speaker 1: there a lot. But yeah, I think you gotta go. Uh,
- 16:49Speaker 1: you gotta have to col in your top ten. That's
- 16:52Speaker 1: what I thought, but couldn't do it. Man, all right,
- 16:56Speaker 1: your what's your number? Nine? Number nine? Another WU album,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Iron Flag, Super slept On back to back WU albums.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's just like Oozy the y'all being warned Chrome Wheels,
- 17:15Speaker 1: Like they just sounded hungry on that album because the
- 17:19Speaker 1: W was so hated on them at the time. You
- 17:22Speaker 1: know what's Iron Flag didn't make my top ten, So,
- 17:27Speaker 1: like I said, slept on Iron Flag and I like
- 17:31Speaker 1: to think of it as their last album definitely, because
- 17:35Speaker 1: everything else after that, I'm good, Just it just hits
- 17:38Speaker 1: a wall. Number nine for me is ODB returned to
- 17:47Speaker 1: thirty six Chambers. I think Old Dirty Bastard not a
- 17:53Speaker 1: perfect album, not like a you know, there's better albums,
- 17:58Speaker 1: but I think that ODB was important to hip hop
- 18:01Speaker 1: and I feel like this was his uh. I mean,
- 18:04Speaker 1: there's there are songs on here that you'll hear in
- 18:06Speaker 1: movies for the rest of your life. But this was
- 18:10Speaker 1: another album like to Cal for me. When it's not
- 18:13Speaker 1: on my list, I went back and listened. Return to
- 18:15Speaker 1: thirty six Chambers isn't on your list either, didn't make it,
- 18:18Speaker 1: So no to Cal and no return to thirty six
- 18:21Speaker 1: Chambers on your list. I went back and listened to it.
- 18:23Speaker 1: There's there's joints on there, but there's just a lot
- 18:26Speaker 1: of childish stuff man like ODB was on. I don't
- 18:30Speaker 1: know it just it didn't age well to me. That's fair.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I can, I can, I can? You know what? To
- 18:37Speaker 1: be fair, I didn't go back and listen for this discussion.
- 18:40Speaker 1: So all right, go ahead yours? What's your number eight?
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's only built for Cuban links too? Oh yes, amazing
- 18:52Speaker 1: album super fire you need if you haven't listened to
- 18:55Speaker 1: it in a while, you gotta go back like it's
- 18:56Speaker 1: just the production on this is so crazy. You got Alchemist, Dyla,
- 19:02Speaker 1: Pete Rock just on and I scramm Jones. Hey, guess
- 19:06Speaker 1: what I have the same album at number eight? There
- 19:10Speaker 1: you go. I I forgot he had that. They didn't
- 19:16Speaker 1: Mad Live the Red They had that beat on there.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Yeah that's super Fire Withney or no, I'm sure. And
- 19:23Speaker 1: I was about to say with ten bricks that was
- 19:26Speaker 1: on fish scale anyway. All right, what's your number seven?
- 19:30Speaker 1: Number seven is fish scale, dude? Same word? Okay? Yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 1: no again, the production on this joint was was nuts. Uh.
- 19:43Speaker 1: It just this was probably the uh for this or
- 19:50Speaker 1: only built two dude, it was first, Uh, I think
- 19:56Speaker 1: fish skill. There was like a little renaissance right here
- 19:59Speaker 1: with the s fish Scale was first. Fish Scale was
- 20:01Speaker 1: six and only Bill two was nine. Okay, but yeah,
- 20:07Speaker 1: fish Scale had a with me with a strap, and
- 20:09Speaker 1: the production on it was fucking crazy crazy la the
- 20:14Speaker 1: last ghost Face album that I loved, even though I
- 20:16Speaker 1: know he's put out a lot of other stuff that
- 20:18Speaker 1: is probably super dope, but I just Pollow Kids is
- 20:20Speaker 1: fire Apollo Kids. It was dope. Yeah, all right, So
- 20:24Speaker 1: gohost Face, we both have at number seven? What's your
- 20:28Speaker 1: number six? Wu Tang Forever? Damn that's low all right,
- 20:35Speaker 1: WU Tank Forever number six? Yes, sir, I mean it's
- 20:39Speaker 1: just I love this album, but it's the double disc
- 20:44Speaker 1: dilemma as always, like it's so hard to to nail
- 20:47Speaker 1: it down if you got that many tracks, you know,
- 20:51Speaker 1: like two, it's that same syndrome, like it could have
- 20:54Speaker 1: been a lot higher, right, It's condensed a lot of
- 20:58Speaker 1: filler but strong tracks on there, and the production going
- 21:04Speaker 1: back and listening it was just so it was a
- 21:06Speaker 1: lot different than Enter the thirty six Chambers. Like number
- 21:10Speaker 1: six for me is iron Man ghost Face his first
- 21:20Speaker 1: solo album. Shout out to Ray Kwan another one of
- 21:25Speaker 1: their combo I mean, I kind of loved just listening
- 21:30Speaker 1: to Only Built for Cuban Links and Iron Man. I
- 21:33Speaker 1: just kind of feel like they compliment each other. Iron
- 21:37Speaker 1: Man number I just remember having that like silver CD.
- 21:41Speaker 1: It was like like with the Wu Tang w and
- 21:43Speaker 1: the Iron Man chest and this is the album that
- 21:48Speaker 1: really like solidified as ghost Face being my favorite member
- 21:52Speaker 1: of Wu Tang. Absolutely. Yeah, that's my number five. Shout
- 21:56Speaker 1: out to ghost Face. So you're going five now and
- 22:00Speaker 1: you have Iron Man. I got iron Man at five. Yeah,
- 22:03Speaker 1: it's just it's got so many my favorite tracks. All
- 22:06Speaker 1: that I got is you was still like ungs like
- 22:10Speaker 1: Wu Tang's ever put out. So my number five is
- 22:19Speaker 1: my number five is uh it's Supreme Clientele. So back
- 22:27Speaker 1: to back ghost Face albums. Supreme Clientele, holy shit, crazy album.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Shout out to ghost Face who just I mean man,
- 22:42Speaker 1: I remember buying this CD from like Sam Goodie at
- 22:44Speaker 1: Metro Center Mall on Phoenix when I was a kid. Yes, Sir,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I copped at the warehouse and this was like the
- 22:50Speaker 1: first time ghost Face had like a solo quote unquote
- 22:53Speaker 1: hit that you like hurt on the radio. Yeah, I
- 22:57Speaker 1: got mad play on MTV. The ship was all over MTV.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I still don't know how to say it though, but
- 23:04Speaker 1: Chares with Ghost said, cherez ghosts, ghosts whatever it is,
- 23:11Speaker 1: And this was I think ghost Face carrying Wu Tang
- 23:17Speaker 1: on his back, because if you think about when this
- 23:21Speaker 1: came out, this was like ninety nine, right, two thousand, Okay,
- 23:25Speaker 1: but think about it, like Wu Tang Forever came out
- 23:28Speaker 1: in ninety seven, this is three years after that. You
- 23:31Speaker 1: really can't This was an era where method Man started
- 23:34Speaker 1: to become more of a star for other shit besides
- 23:37Speaker 1: his music, and it was like a really dry era
- 23:42Speaker 1: of like Wu Tang quality. Jiz was putting out shit
- 23:45Speaker 1: that wasn't hidden like everyone had hoped. The Wu Tang
- 23:50Speaker 1: album was the we talked about the W. This drop
- 23:54Speaker 1: before the W. This was like this was like summer,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I think. Okay, yeah, but they came out the same year. Yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 1: I mean if you look at that whole entire, like
- 24:07Speaker 1: like ninety nine Inspected Deck Drop Uncontrolled Substance, which I
- 24:12Speaker 1: do think is is an underrated album, but not in
- 24:16Speaker 1: that same discussion. So I just think Wu Tang had
- 24:21Speaker 1: a vary as far as like carrying like the brand
- 24:24Speaker 1: of what Wu Tang means and like meant to fans,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I feel like ODB had already kind of gone pop
- 24:30Speaker 1: and stopped banging Wu Tang like you know, like you know,
- 24:34Speaker 1: he had to get got your money ship with with Kalis,
- 24:37Speaker 1: and I feel like this album, this album like kept
- 24:41Speaker 1: Bhu Tang alive to like Wu Tang fans, you feel
- 24:44Speaker 1: me like this shit was like this felt like a
- 24:47Speaker 1: Wu Tang album. This ship felt like raw. Yeah, shout
- 24:50Speaker 1: out to Supreme Clientele. Honestly could have been higher, but
- 24:53Speaker 1: it's a number five on my list. What's your number four,
- 24:57Speaker 1: Supreme Clientele? Fair enough? My number four is Wu Tang Forever.
- 25:06Speaker 1: We got that, hi, okay? Of course. I think Wu
- 25:09Speaker 1: Tang Forever is one of the most slept on albums ever.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Bro we had. It's a double disc of just Fire.
- 25:15Speaker 1: You think it's straight, I think the beginning of disc
- 25:17Speaker 1: one fire, you know what it is? It's people people
- 25:20Speaker 1: were expecting thirty six Chambers. Yeah, and that's the reason
- 25:25Speaker 1: why people listen to that album or listen to that album.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Three years after that was when dude Wu Tang was doing.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I remember seeing them. They were torn with like fucking
- 25:36Speaker 1: rage against the machine, and this was like superstar Wu
- 25:40Speaker 1: Tang era when they drop Wu Tank Forever, they were
- 25:42Speaker 1: like the biggest ship in the world. Triumph is on
- 25:50Speaker 1: this album probably one of the best hip hop singles
- 25:54Speaker 1: of all time, probably a top five verse Ever from
- 25:57Speaker 1: Inspector Deck is on this album. Ever. I'm talking about Ever,
- 26:01Speaker 1: like Ever, not like Wu Tang Ever. I mean just Ever.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And everybody knows it Wu Tang fan or not, you
- 26:08Speaker 1: know that it aspected dec first and for the record
- 26:12Speaker 1: to a double disc of Just Fire Peak Wu Tang.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It's two albums. It's two albums in one and we're
- 26:20Speaker 1: talking peak Wu Tang, Peak, ghost Face, Peak, Ray Korn,
- 26:24Speaker 1: Peak Method Manriza. It's different than thirty six Chambers. So
- 26:29Speaker 1: I think when people initially heard it, they weren't necessarily
- 26:31Speaker 1: on board with it. It was a little bit more commercial.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't say commercial. Yeah, like a song like It's
- 26:38Speaker 1: yours was like a hook, you know. It was just
- 26:41Speaker 1: it was different. But I feel like it was just
- 26:44Speaker 1: a more like cleaned up not like it wasn't as
- 26:48Speaker 1: rough as it sounded like. It was recorded in like
- 26:51Speaker 1: million dollar studios, you know what I'm saying, Like, yeah,
- 26:53Speaker 1: it wasn't in the basement. But I think Wu Tang
- 26:57Speaker 1: Forever is fucking incredible, and I think that actually aged
- 27:01Speaker 1: well unlike it did. So shout out to Wu Tang.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I got that at number four. Where you at? Where's
- 27:06Speaker 1: where's your number three? I think I'm gonna shock you
- 27:11Speaker 1: with this one. You're you're gonna put enter the Wu
- 27:14Speaker 1: Tang here? Huh? Only built for Cuban links. Oh and
- 27:20Speaker 1: I think we agree? Really Okay, Now this albums incredible.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Number three. I wanted to put it the top three.
- 27:29Speaker 1: It bounced around for me all over the place, but
- 27:33Speaker 1: there too. Okay, now for me, our personal, our personal opinions.
- 27:39Speaker 1: So now we know the final two I got. I
- 27:44Speaker 1: got only built for Cuban links at three. By the way,
- 27:48Speaker 1: it could be two or it could be one. I
- 27:50Speaker 1: do feel like the top three here could at any
- 27:54Speaker 1: given time be interchangeable. Absolutely. I'm just gonna bust down
- 28:02Speaker 1: the rest of my uh my list. You do the same.
- 28:04Speaker 1: So I got Liquid Swords at two and thirty six
- 28:09Speaker 1: Chambers at one. I got the same. Like, it's just
- 28:12Speaker 1: I almost put Liquid Swords at one low key, but
- 28:15Speaker 1: I was like, not, thirty six Chambers is perfect album.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It's perfect. I had it at one. You have the Swords, Yeah,
- 28:21Speaker 1: it changes it because for me, Liquid Swords album wise,
- 28:26Speaker 1: like just the flow of it. There's almost nothing like
- 28:29Speaker 1: it in hip hop, Like it's just some move I hate.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I also hate the fact that Liquid Swords isn't it
- 28:35Speaker 1: celebrated as Purple Tape. It's just because Ray and Ghosts
- 28:41Speaker 1: are a lot more. Is the most low key motherfucker ever.
- 28:46Speaker 1: By the way, it kind of sucks that Jizza dropped
- 28:51Speaker 1: Liquid Swords and then besides his album he did with Mugs,
- 28:55Speaker 1: which was what called Mastermind Masterminds something like that. I
- 29:01Speaker 1: just feel like beneath the surface Grand Masters, Sorry, beneath
- 29:05Speaker 1: the Surface was some mid like. It just kind of
- 29:09Speaker 1: sucks that Jizza like never gave us something close to
- 29:15Speaker 1: Liquid Swords. And for the record, Ray Kwan the same
- 29:19Speaker 1: could be said for him up until he dropped Liquid
- 29:21Speaker 1: Swords two because outside of only Built for Cuban Links,
- 29:25Speaker 1: Ray Kwan's solo career up until he dropped Only Built
- 29:28Speaker 1: for Cuban Links two was there was a lot to
- 29:31Speaker 1: be desired there. Yeah, Mobilarity wasn't great and the other
- 29:35Speaker 1: one Les Diamond Story not great. So we got Ray
- 29:41Speaker 1: Kuan at three only Built for Cuban Links is three,
- 29:44Speaker 1: Liquid Swords is two, and number one is thirty six Chambers.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Thirty six Chambers. To me, I have as a top
- 29:51Speaker 1: six seven eight hip hop album of all time, and
- 29:56Speaker 1: that's why it was hard for me to not have
- 29:58Speaker 1: it at number one, because like the grass scheme of things,
- 30:01Speaker 1: it started Woutang come on and it's perfect. It's literally
- 30:04Speaker 1: a perfect album, Like there's not one song on there
- 30:06Speaker 1: that you're like, dang, they could have they could have
- 30:07Speaker 1: did without this one, Bud. You can't skip anything on there. Yeah,
- 30:12Speaker 1: it's a classic. And for the record, all top three
- 30:16Speaker 1: of those albums are classics. And had we have included
- 30:20Speaker 1: the Blackout, it would have been in the top ten.
- 30:23Speaker 1: What do we have different? Oh? I couldn't have the
- 30:27Speaker 1: W in mine, and to call in the W was
- 30:30Speaker 1: the only difference. No, you also had Iron Flag in
- 30:34Speaker 1: your top ten. I didn't have that in my top ten.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I had odb Oh. That's right, that's right. So you
- 30:40Speaker 1: had all four Wu Tang albums in your top ten,
- 30:43Speaker 1: I did not, Sir, eight diagrams, we just will pretend
- 30:48Speaker 1: like that never happened. And the joint that what's that
- 30:53Speaker 1: cat about the album that's can't release for one hundred years.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Oh Martin Scurell or whatever the fuck? Oh yeah that guy,
- 31:02Speaker 1: Fuck that dude, piece of shit. Yeah, So shout out
- 31:06Speaker 1: to Wu Tang Man twenty five years since the Purple
- 31:09Speaker 1: Tape came out, and I do feel like, I mean, man,
- 31:15Speaker 1: I just wish we'd hear more Ray Kwan. I feel
- 31:18Speaker 1: like it was dope to hear him at the beginning
- 31:19Speaker 1: of the Grisella album, but he wasn't rapping. He was
- 31:21Speaker 1: just talking his talk. And unfortunately, you know, like when
- 31:27Speaker 1: he hopped on like fucking my beautiful, dark Twisted Fantasy
- 31:31Speaker 1: ten years ago, it was like, oh my god, this
- 31:33Speaker 1: is great. Yeah, but shout out to Ray You know,
- 31:36Speaker 1: another slept on Ray Kuan album is a Shatlan versus
- 31:40Speaker 1: Wu Tang that came out in after only built for
- 31:42Speaker 1: Cuban link. That is a dope. What about some mom
- 31:48Speaker 1: I'll say this my uh got a shout out a
- 31:55Speaker 1: couple of albums that I do think are underrated from
- 31:57Speaker 1: Wu Tang members. For me, I got a shout out
- 32:02Speaker 1: Uncontrolled Substance, Inspected Deck's album was was was was Fire,
- 32:08Speaker 1: super Fire, and it would have been bigger, but the
- 32:13Speaker 1: whole situation. I guess the Masters got lost and he
- 32:16Speaker 1: had to re record it, so what could have been
- 32:19Speaker 1: right there too? I think he was supposed to be
- 32:21Speaker 1: the first Wu tang Uh. He was supposed to be
- 32:25Speaker 1: after meth I think, yeah, I think, I think. Unfortunately, yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 1: if he had to wait, that sucks because that's another
- 32:34Speaker 1: what if career? Right if Inspected Deck would have dropped
- 32:37Speaker 1: like right off the rip, Yeah, with the big wave
- 32:40Speaker 1: when everybody dropped throat, think about Inspected Decks stand out
- 32:43Speaker 1: versus like that full low keep me out wrapping everybody
- 32:46Speaker 1: always once above the clouds, I was gonna say, above
- 32:50Speaker 1: the clouds from Gang Star Jesus Christ to Cal come
- 32:53Speaker 1: on man. Another one I enjoyed was to Cal two thousand.
- 32:57Speaker 1: That's like a personal one that they're just shit on there.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I actually really like, even though it's it's a disappointing album.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Master Killer's album No Said Date was solid. What about
- 33:10Speaker 1: Bobby Digital? Bobby Digital was solid? Honestly just from like
- 33:15Speaker 1: a sonically, I I almost was like fucking Mike my
- 33:20Speaker 1: my fuck around to sneak Bobby Digital. And even though
- 33:23Speaker 1: it don't deserve to be number ten, but like show
- 33:26Speaker 1: loved a Rizza. Grave Diggers. Yeah, see we didn't include
- 33:32Speaker 1: the Grave Diggers that would have been in there. One hundred. Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 1: None of the You Got albums ever spoke to me.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I only listened to the first one. The Woo Massacre
- 33:42Speaker 1: album is another one that I never really got into.
- 33:44Speaker 1: The Metha Ghost and Ray album. It was disappointing from
- 33:48Speaker 1: that trio, you know, like there was some on there,
- 33:51Speaker 1: but um, pretty Tony was close for me. Ghost Face Yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 1: if you go through ghost Face whole entire, uh Apollo kids,
- 34:00Speaker 1: ghost DENI was cool. More Fish I never fucked with.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I thought that shit was whack. That was just like
- 34:05Speaker 1: that was so we could get off death sham big though.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Rehab was all right. Yeah, man. Unfortunately Jesse had a
- 34:15Speaker 1: outside of Grand Masters, I like Legends of the Liquid
- 34:19Speaker 1: Sword mm hmm yeah yeah, shout out to Shout out
- 34:25Speaker 1: to Wu Tang, though I feel like they're not celebrated enough. Well,
- 34:29Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if I agree with you there, buddy,
- 34:31Speaker 1: because they do have a fucking They just had a
- 34:33Speaker 1: goddamn Showtime documentary series and then Hulu made an entire
- 34:37Speaker 1: fucking TV show based on their lives. So I'm not
- 34:39Speaker 1: sure I can agree with you, buddy. I still I
- 34:42Speaker 1: feel like nowadays they don't get the love they deserve. Well,
- 34:45Speaker 1: because that's all. Don't give a fuck about Wu Tang clan.
- 34:47Speaker 1: It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. Wu Tang
- 34:50Speaker 1: is for the children, is for are they? I mean
- 34:54Speaker 1: there McGirt best skits ever on thirty six Chambers here.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I forgot to mention, Oh yeah, in front of method man.
- 35:04Speaker 1: That's what's crazy, is it? That fucking skit was in
- 35:07Speaker 1: front of the most commercially successful song on the album.
- 35:11Speaker 1: So if you bought that album for the M E
- 35:12Speaker 1: T h O D Man, well, I guess cream. But
- 35:15Speaker 1: but if you bought that and you had to put
- 35:17Speaker 1: that ship on, you were like, what the fuck are
- 35:19Speaker 1: these motherfuckers talking about putting hangers in each other's asses
- 35:22Speaker 1: and nailing dicks on the fuck? Yeah? What the fuck?
- 35:26Speaker 1: Shit's crazy? Um also shout out to uh to t I,
- 35:33Speaker 1: who's officially a grandfather. How old is his daughter? That
- 35:40Speaker 1: I don't know? But t I uh t Hay's a grandfather?
- 35:45Speaker 1: That's crazy. How How old is fucking t I? Bro?
- 35:53Speaker 1: I got to google this? He's thirty nine? T I
- 35:56Speaker 1: is only thirty nine and he's a fun Yeah. That
- 36:00Speaker 1: shit's crazy, yo, when you like when your favorite rappers
- 36:06Speaker 1: start becoming fucking grandfathers like and tis not even like
- 36:11Speaker 1: I remember when Ta's first album came out. That shit
- 36:14Speaker 1: wasn't that long ago, Bud t I's not thirty nine, bro, Yeah,
- 36:20Speaker 1: his daughter's nineteen. Bro. That's crazy. Bro, he's thirty nine.
- 36:27Speaker 1: What the fuck? That fool ain't even forty. Shout out
- 36:32Speaker 1: to Tip. His daughter was getting the Tip. You feel me,
- 36:38Speaker 1: and now he is a grandfather. Jesus that it just
- 36:41Speaker 1: makes me feel old as a bitch boy. Hey, shout
- 36:44Speaker 1: out to TI, though, man, I do think a lot
- 36:47Speaker 1: of a lot of people were uh not giving TI
- 36:50Speaker 1: his uh his just due when this whole fifty cent
- 36:53Speaker 1: TI battle thing idea was getting thrown around. I had
- 36:57Speaker 1: to put my money on TI. He probably did have
- 37:01Speaker 1: more hits, longer, run more albums, no question there, especially
- 37:07Speaker 1: if we're talking Vegas odds. Speaking of that, who you
- 37:11Speaker 1: got now, Doug Rick Ross? Oh yeah, so the Rick
- 37:16Speaker 1: Ross and uh, by the time this comes out of
- 37:19Speaker 1: my already of Chase, I originally thought everybody was being
- 37:25Speaker 1: very unfair to two Chains because everyone I saw talking
- 37:28Speaker 1: about it said Ross would destroy him, and I was like,
- 37:31Speaker 1: wait a minute, guys. Two Chains had one of the
- 37:35Speaker 1: craziest two or three year runs ever, specifically when it
- 37:38Speaker 1: comes to features. This guy was on everything, but god damn.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I went on Spotify and I looked at both and
- 37:47Speaker 1: I was like, dude, it's Ross. Bro. See I'm the opposite.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I was on two Chain. I mean I was on
- 37:55Speaker 1: Ross and then I went to two Chain Spotify and him.
- 38:01Speaker 1: You think, so it's the features alone, Like, if they
- 38:05Speaker 1: do it by the format, Rick Ross probably got him
- 38:08Speaker 1: because you only have a limited amount of features you
- 38:11Speaker 1: could do. Is that true? Isn't that how they do it?
- 38:14Speaker 1: Don't they do features? They do like categories right, No,
- 38:17Speaker 1: they just play what they want. Okay, I think they
- 38:19Speaker 1: organize it ahead of time, though they talk about what
- 38:21Speaker 1: they're gonna play. Listen, let me tell you something. I
- 38:26Speaker 1: don't know if that's true. But what I do know
- 38:27Speaker 1: is I'm taking Rick Ross. What push you over the edge?
- 38:37Speaker 1: See we say t I's got features, right, but then
- 38:40Speaker 1: we also forget this, so does Rick Ross. Yeah, but
- 38:44Speaker 1: a lot of the features he's He's just a feature.
- 38:47Speaker 1: He doesn't steal the show like two changes us. That's
- 38:50Speaker 1: fair unless we're talking devil in Address. Yeah, that's that's
- 38:56Speaker 1: the strongest one. That's one of the best features ever.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I think, Okay, Rick Ross has So this is the
- 39:05Speaker 1: thing about Tip. I think if you start digging into
- 39:09Speaker 1: tips mixtape bag, it can get crazy because t I
- 39:13Speaker 1: has How are we on t I now wait, I
- 39:16Speaker 1: said Tip, I'm tripping. I'm confusing my Atlanta rappers. I
- 39:18Speaker 1: think if you start digging, I was I meant to say,
- 39:21Speaker 1: titty tit two chains, two change. This mixtape bag is crazy,
- 39:25Speaker 1: like True Religion is one of the greatest mixtapes of
- 39:27Speaker 1: all time. And but Rick Ross has Rich whatever and
- 39:32Speaker 1: the albert Anastasia EP that had MC hammer on it.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Those are the songs that ended up on teflon Dawn,
- 39:37Speaker 1: but like started on mixtapes. And then I think dog
- 39:44Speaker 1: just Ross got it bro like Ross can pull out
- 39:49Speaker 1: like money in the Grave with Drake. That's like current, Like, yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 1: change is close. I'll say this, it's close. But if
- 39:58Speaker 1: I had to put my own money up, man, I
- 40:00Speaker 1: might have to take Ross. I originally thought Chains Ross
- 40:03Speaker 1: got a lot of Kalid but SOA's change or no. Changes,
- 40:07Speaker 1: don't have a calid but changes on everything. Man. No,
- 40:10Speaker 1: I mean he's on mercy, He's on a lot of shit. Obviously.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Have you listened to Logic's new album not yet? Didn't
- 40:19Speaker 1: mean to dive into it. I gotta give props to
- 40:22Speaker 1: Logic because Logic has been on a h a tear
- 40:26Speaker 1: in regards to putting out less than desirable music over
- 40:32Speaker 1: the last five years. I was not a fan of
- 40:35Speaker 1: Everybody or the dangerous mind of whatever. The fuck. That
- 40:42Speaker 1: shit was terrible. The Supermarket soundtrack was terrible. Everybody had
- 40:49Speaker 1: some shit on it where you're like, yeah, cool, I
- 40:51Speaker 1: get it. I understand why this is working. Young Sinatra
- 40:56Speaker 1: four that came out last year was dope, and this
- 41:00Speaker 1: project is might be his best album. I think under
- 41:06Speaker 1: Pressure is his best album, but this one, No Pressure,
- 41:09Speaker 1: I think it's it's a It's a solid number two man.
- 41:12Speaker 1: And I do think there's been this uh, very very
- 41:16Speaker 1: very vocal and loud uh narrative painted about Logic being whack,
- 41:24Speaker 1: mostly by Joe Budden. But Joe, but yo, Logic been
- 41:29Speaker 1: getting so much hate bro in the last like three
- 41:32Speaker 1: or three years. Yeah, Well, if he's not putting out
- 41:37Speaker 1: like he you sue, then he deserves it. Nah. Noah,
- 41:40Speaker 1: I'm talking like people call him this full trash like
- 41:42Speaker 1: he can't rap. Oh nah, he can wrap his ass off. Nah.
- 41:47Speaker 1: But like a lot of people just don't like Logic.
- 41:50Speaker 1: They don't like the way he talks about rays. They
- 41:51Speaker 1: think it's they just think he's corny, right, And like,
- 41:53Speaker 1: at the time, I'm gonna be honest, I know Logic
- 41:58Speaker 1: and he's just himself. Like I've spent a lot of
- 42:01Speaker 1: a close time with that dude, especially early on in
- 42:04Speaker 1: his career, and he's just a corny dude. So like, yeah,
- 42:10Speaker 1: maybe sometimes the way he describes his like battle with
- 42:14Speaker 1: being biracial might not people might not like the I
- 42:18Speaker 1: don't know, people might think it's corny, But dude, I
- 42:21Speaker 1: mean he's just telling his truth. Now that that Dangerous
- 42:24Speaker 1: mind shit he came out with that album was horrid, horrid.
- 42:30Speaker 1: He was talking about all his moneys. Shit was terrible.
- 42:32Speaker 1: But this album fire no idea with the executive production,
- 42:37Speaker 1: and I just want to I just want to take
- 42:39Speaker 1: some time to acknowledge Logic's career and say that he
- 42:43Speaker 1: is a shining light in hip hop because he's never
- 42:48Speaker 1: not been himself, which is hard to find. Say what
- 42:51Speaker 1: you want about his music. There's a lot of it
- 42:54Speaker 1: that's fire, there's a lot of it that's that's subpar.
- 42:57Speaker 1: The logic, hell of a career, hell of a dude,
- 43:02Speaker 1: and no pressure. His new album is fucking solid, bro.
- 43:08Speaker 1: But is it the end of his career? Yeah, I
- 43:10Speaker 1: think he's gonna at least take five years off. He's
- 43:12Speaker 1: gonna start doing the movie thing he's acting now, and
- 43:15Speaker 1: he's gonna be on Twitch. I think he's still might
- 43:16Speaker 1: hop on other people's shit, but I think he's done
- 43:19Speaker 1: for now. I don't know, We'll see, but I do
- 43:21Speaker 1: think Logic, man, if this is at the end of
- 43:24Speaker 1: his career, I think there was probably a lot to
- 43:31Speaker 1: be desired. Like, if you were to talk to me
- 43:33Speaker 1: in twenty fourteen, I'd be like, yo, in five years
- 43:36Speaker 1: from now, Logic's gonna be like one of them guys.
- 43:40Speaker 1: And I think there was a small period in time
- 43:42Speaker 1: where he was one of them guys because he was
- 43:45Speaker 1: doing arenas and he was doing like he could do
- 43:48Speaker 1: an arena tomorrow, Like he could do a whole arena
- 43:50Speaker 1: tours tomorrow. You know what I'm saying, Like that's not
- 43:53Speaker 1: a lot of artists can do that. You could probably
- 43:55Speaker 1: fit them all on one hand, maybe like one and
- 43:58Speaker 1: a half hands. People who could do eighteen to twenty
- 44:00Speaker 1: thousand people, and Logic is one of them. Say what
- 44:04Speaker 1: you want. I wish you would have put out better
- 44:06Speaker 1: music through the totality of his career, but you know,
- 44:10Speaker 1: he made what was true to him at the time.
- 44:12Speaker 1: And you know, I love I loved his first album.
- 44:16Speaker 1: His first album, to me was close to perfect, and
- 44:19Speaker 1: this new album is pretty goddamn good man, So salutes
- 44:22Speaker 1: the Logic. Just want to acknowledge his career. Man, I
- 44:24Speaker 1: think he's just gotten a lot of unnecessary hate lately,
- 44:29Speaker 1: and it's really just because he's a corny dude. Man,
- 44:34Speaker 1: Like what you want from him, You want him to
- 44:35Speaker 1: act like he's a cool dude. Like I don't know,
- 44:37Speaker 1: So shout out to Joe Budden. Man has made it
- 44:39Speaker 1: a point to kind of like ruin that guy's life over. Yeah,
- 44:43Speaker 1: I don't know why, man, fuck uh anyway, So shout
- 44:48Speaker 1: out to Logic. Also, I'm trying to think, oh, this
- 44:53Speaker 1: is random. So imagine if you go to McDonald's and
- 44:59Speaker 1: you chose on a cooked piece of someone's COVID mask.
- 45:05Speaker 1: I'm getting all are you? You're assuming I'm getting the bag?
- 45:09Speaker 1: Oh you have to. Yeah, So some somebody choked on
- 45:14Speaker 1: a fucking a chicken nugget because there was a mask
- 45:17Speaker 1: fucking fried into the chicken nugget. First of all, aren't
- 45:20Speaker 1: the nuggets already pre cooked? Yeah? What is going on
- 45:24Speaker 1: with that shit? Like? What? How does that? Right? They
- 45:29Speaker 1: ain't battering the chicken out the fucking McDonald's and ships
- 45:31Speaker 1: is coming in a bag frozen on a truck, right,
- 45:33Speaker 1: some shit's been frozen for months. Dog, they got reserves.
- 45:37Speaker 1: By the way, can we talk about how amazing McDonald's is. No, dude,
- 45:43Speaker 1: being on the keto diet, I probably crave McDonald's more
- 45:49Speaker 1: than anything else. That's what a burger, That's what I miss. Like,
- 45:55Speaker 1: motherfucker's really out here acting like McDonald's ain't fire because
- 46:00Speaker 1: it ain't. Doug. McDonald's is trash. It's the bottom run, Bro.
- 46:05Speaker 1: McDonald's is fire. Bro. There's a reason why they're number one, bud,
- 46:10Speaker 1: and that's because that shit is good. It's not good
- 46:13Speaker 1: for you, but that shit is good. This is a
- 46:17Speaker 1: trash take dog, give me the number nine two cheeseburgers.
- 46:22Speaker 1: I want the basic, right, I want that basic entry
- 46:25Speaker 1: level McDonald's meal. I'm talking the number nine. It comes
- 46:31Speaker 1: with two regular cheeseburgers, a large fry, and a coke.
- 46:37Speaker 1: That McDonald's coke is different than every other Coca Cola
- 46:40Speaker 1: in the world. It is. That's a fact. The coke
- 46:46Speaker 1: coke tastes like nothing else. That shit different regular coke.
- 46:51Speaker 1: It's it's that fancy coke. It's that goddamn they got
- 46:54Speaker 1: that extra syrup or something. McDonald's is in no way,
- 46:59Speaker 1: shape or for him the best fast food dog. But
- 47:01Speaker 1: you are tripping. I didn't say it was the best
- 47:03Speaker 1: fast food it's number one though, of course, yes, that's
- 47:07Speaker 1: a fact, number one in the world. But right, why though?
- 47:11Speaker 1: Why would they be number one if it wasn't good.
- 47:15Speaker 1: It's marketing dog people. It is comfort food. Would it
- 47:18Speaker 1: be number one if it if it didn't taste good?
- 47:21Speaker 1: It must have tasted good at some point. You don't
- 47:24Speaker 1: think McDonald's tastes good. I can't remember the last time
- 47:27Speaker 1: I had McDonald's, Like, damn, that was good. Like so
- 47:30Speaker 1: you you don't fuck with a goddamn sausage McMuffin. I
- 47:33Speaker 1: was gonna say, maybe a sausage McMuffin. That's about it,
- 47:36Speaker 1: hash brown, and I usually regret it every time you
- 47:41Speaker 1: eat a McDonald's. You regret it because you ship, but
- 47:44Speaker 1: I regret it because it tasted like ship. It sounds
- 47:47Speaker 1: good in my head. You'repping. You get that two cheeseburger meal,
- 47:52Speaker 1: you get the extra fries, right, you get that large fry,
- 47:55Speaker 1: and then you just load up them to little cheeseburgers
- 47:58Speaker 1: with fries, taking fries out, you put them on the bitches,
- 48:02Speaker 1: and then it's so and then you get that spicy
- 48:03Speaker 1: McChicken no lettuce, Bro, McDonald's is John Blaize. It is
- 48:13Speaker 1: not a dog, Bro. You're fucking bugging this is this
- 48:16Speaker 1: is a horrible take. It's not a horrible take. It's true.
- 48:21Speaker 1: McDonald's is fire. Yo. Let me ask you something. What's better,
- 48:28Speaker 1: Carls Junior or McDonald's. That's that's not even a question,
- 48:32Speaker 1: Carls Jr. That's not true. Western bacon, cheeseburger ship over
- 48:37Speaker 1: anything McDonald's got on the menu. I don't just I don't.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I do not agree with you. You want to you're
- 48:43Speaker 1: taking this hardest stance. I love me some Carls Junior.
- 48:46Speaker 1: But it ain't fucking with McDonald's brow even the chicken tenders.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. If you go to McDonald's,
- 48:53Speaker 1: you can kind of just point at the menu and
- 48:55Speaker 1: order something and know it's going to be solid. You
- 48:58Speaker 1: go to Carls Jr. You can't do that. You can't
- 49:01Speaker 1: absolutely superstar at McDonald's. You just close your eyes and say,
- 49:06Speaker 1: you know what, give me the nuggets, give me the
- 49:08Speaker 1: goddamn chicken grills. I'll give you anyways, right, So give
- 49:12Speaker 1: me that goddamn fish filet with that half a piece
- 49:14Speaker 1: of cheese. Oh dog bruh. McDonald's is the one. I mean,
- 49:21Speaker 1: I'll take steak and shake. There's literally almost shake shack
- 49:28Speaker 1: any other Now, I'd rather go to not me. Can
- 49:34Speaker 1: we all what's above McDonald's for you? Then in and Out?
- 49:39Speaker 1: That's it. I would rather go to water Burger. See
- 49:44Speaker 1: whatater burgers at the top. But you want to know
- 49:46Speaker 1: what the difference is. I don't crave water Burger. I
- 49:51Speaker 1: crave that McDonald's. Taste those fries, brou How about this.
- 49:56Speaker 1: I'll take McDonald's fries over everybody's fries, including in and
- 50:00Speaker 1: outs fries. Oh in and out fries are trash. No,
- 50:03Speaker 1: they're amazing because they're fresh. No, who told you that?
- 50:07Speaker 1: Lie out? What do you mean they fucking cut the
- 50:10Speaker 1: potato in the goddamn drive through. You see the fucking
- 50:12Speaker 1: people cutting the fucking potato. It's fresh ass dog like,
- 50:15Speaker 1: it doesn't taste good. And then ships get cold in
- 50:18Speaker 1: like two seconds. Listen by the time they added to
- 50:21Speaker 1: the ship's like ice cubes. Okay, does McDonald's have the
- 50:24Speaker 1: best fries? I might give you that one. Okay if
- 50:30Speaker 1: our fries not a very important uh part of every
- 50:34Speaker 1: single fast food restaurant. But bitch, Taco Bell got French
- 50:37Speaker 1: fries what they got them? Goddamn Notacho fries. Oh no,
- 50:43Speaker 1: I will fuck with these Taco Bell creations like you
- 50:45Speaker 1: try all them shits, the Fredo's, the Cheetos, like we hey,
- 50:51Speaker 1: don't open up the Taco Bell cannon worms because we
- 50:54Speaker 1: could go there too. Can we know you're well first
- 50:57Speaker 1: on that ship. We have to stop acting like Taco
- 51:00Speaker 1: Bell ain't fired. Tacobo is fire. But god damn they
- 51:04Speaker 1: raise those prices. Every single time someone talks about Taco Bell,
- 51:08Speaker 1: it's in a negative context. I just don't like Frankenstein
- 51:12Speaker 1: Creations anything not real Mexican food. Yeah, no shit, motherfucker.
- 51:17Speaker 1: It's Taco Bell. It is Taco Bell. It's it's food
- 51:22Speaker 1: for people who are fat, smoke marijuana and then want
- 51:27Speaker 1: food at one in the morning, or people who don't
- 51:32Speaker 1: care about themselves a lot, and I happen to at
- 51:38Speaker 1: some point in time or another, be all free. Right.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I don't care about what I put into my body.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not putting heroin in me. I'm not
- 51:47Speaker 1: putting heroin into my body for the record, But when
- 51:50Speaker 1: it comes to food, I'm willing to put all kinds
- 51:53Speaker 1: of garbage in my mouth. Pause. I've seen you eat
- 51:55Speaker 1: the most hateous shit ever, Doug. Like, So, Taco Bell
- 51:59Speaker 1: is all so up there with McDonald's in regards to
- 52:02Speaker 1: you can just point at the menu and be like,
- 52:03Speaker 1: give me that, and you just know it's definitely not true. Bruh.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Taco Bell is like a box of chocolates. Like, like
- 52:12Speaker 1: everything at Taco Bell's got the same taste. It's got
- 52:16Speaker 1: that Taco Bell taste. You know what they got you brainwashed?
- 52:23Speaker 1: You're married to the brands, nah man, that Taco Bell
- 52:26Speaker 1: smacking boy. Listen, only thing I ever had a taco
- 52:29Speaker 1: bet that was trashed, was like a couple of weeks ago,
- 52:32Speaker 1: or when when did I cheat on my diet? Maybe
- 52:34Speaker 1: like a month ago. I'll keep it one hundred. That
- 52:38Speaker 1: was last week. We've been firm about the same time.
- 52:42Speaker 1: You were on the phone with me though. When I
- 52:43Speaker 1: was I think I ordered like a red icy drink.
- 52:46Speaker 1: It was like a Star Wars. Yeah, yeah, you got
- 52:51Speaker 1: two of them, and I said, oh, is the other
- 52:53Speaker 1: one for your wife? And you said, nah, they both
- 52:55Speaker 1: for me. I would try. I just want to try them,
- 52:57Speaker 1: and them ships were horrible. Out with that being said,
- 53:02Speaker 1: you get a Chiloopa, you get a casada, that fucking
- 53:07Speaker 1: chicken case dia whatever special Taco Bell sauce comes in
- 53:09Speaker 1: that bitch fucking fire, You get a Mexican pizza, fucking fire.
- 53:15Speaker 1: You get the goddamn doritos, Tacos locos, whatever the fuck
- 53:18Speaker 1: fucking fire. Supreme, always go supreme at Taco Bell, always
- 53:22Speaker 1: goes always. Yeah, it's a mistake if you don't. You
- 53:25Speaker 1: get that bean and cheese burrito, no onion, run that
- 53:29Speaker 1: bitch up with all the mild sauce. And I've been
- 53:32Speaker 1: I've been learning some tricks. You go on the app,
- 53:34Speaker 1: you can customize, like the ninety nine cent menu, you
- 53:37Speaker 1: get the goddamn Fiesta cheese potatoes in the little bowl
- 53:40Speaker 1: cheesy Fiesta potatoes. No, yeah, that ninety nine cent menu,
- 53:44Speaker 1: and then you you just subtract like the cheese and
- 53:47Speaker 1: the rice out of the cheesy rice bean and cheese burrito,
- 53:50Speaker 1: and then you got a straight up bean and cheese
- 53:52Speaker 1: burrito that usually costs two dollars for a dollar. Oh,
- 53:55Speaker 1: you're welcome. So instead of you ordering a bean and
- 53:58Speaker 1: cheese burrito for two dollars, you say, I want the
- 54:01Speaker 1: dollar burrito, but minus the rice. Damn, I never thought
- 54:05Speaker 1: of that. The little taco bells all fire. I really
- 54:12Speaker 1: think in general, you can go down the list of
- 54:15Speaker 1: of of fast food restaurants and just be like, all
- 54:19Speaker 1: this ship is fire except Burger King. I still fuck
- 54:24Speaker 1: with a whopper. No, there are things that Burger King
- 54:27Speaker 1: I thoroughly enjoyed, like a whopper. But I do think
- 54:30Speaker 1: I don't have any confidence if I were to go
- 54:32Speaker 1: to Burger King and just point at the menu and
- 54:34Speaker 1: be like, eah, nah, hey, Wendy's got some fucking heat.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Waterburger got heat Wendy's got heat. Waterburger is the other
- 54:44Speaker 1: one where you could just go up and down the menu.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Everything's fire. Dell Taco's got some heat. Dalk's Taco's underrated,
- 54:51Speaker 1: especially with the burgers. People don't know about the Dell
- 54:53Speaker 1: Talk Taco and the crinkle cup fries from Del Taco. Bruh,
- 54:58Speaker 1: But Burger Kings trash bro, Welcome back to Keto Talk. Hey,
- 55:03Speaker 1: Burger King is fucking trash. There's no way you you
- 55:07Speaker 1: rank fast food spots, and Burger King is anywhere else
- 55:11Speaker 1: but last place. What though, we're taking a whopper over
- 55:16Speaker 1: a big neck? Oh yeah, I actually agree. Hey, you
- 55:21Speaker 1: know what else is trash? But but good? That is
- 55:24Speaker 1: right above Burger King in the trash list is Jack
- 55:26Speaker 1: in the Box. I was gonna say, good old Jack.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Jack in the Box is like your abusive friend that
- 55:32Speaker 1: is just there whenever you need them. Like, man, it's
- 55:35Speaker 1: three in the morning now, nothing's open, but Jack in
- 55:37Speaker 1: the Box is open. Oh yeah, our bundy Jack's there.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Run me those two fucking tacos for ninety nine cents.
- 55:43Speaker 1: You fuck you slap me that breakfast Jack? Damn. Anyway,
- 55:49Speaker 1: Well that was nice. Uh wh X is a uh
- 55:54Speaker 1: an esteemed mailman. He's a gamble holock. When's the last
- 56:01Speaker 1: time you lost money at the casino. I've been three
- 56:05Speaker 1: days ago and they're still open in Arizona. They just
- 56:08Speaker 1: got casinos. Just fuck COVID. Yeah, they got a little
- 56:11Speaker 1: plastic dividers in between each machines. Interesting, it's like you're
- 56:15Speaker 1: in a little booth and they check you. They take
- 56:18Speaker 1: a picture and check your temperature. All right, well, we'll
- 56:23Speaker 1: we'll be back at it soon enough, buddy. You stay
- 56:26Speaker 1: on that keto, you fat fuck. I don't know after
- 56:28Speaker 1: this tig Dog, I'm kind of craving. I bet you

- 56:51Speaker 1: this is a dope conversation, no matter if you know
- 56:53Speaker 1: this guy is or not, because he really kind of
- 56:55Speaker 1: breaks down what's going on in his home country of Armenia,
- 56:57Speaker 1: which is really a big thing that's happening over there
- 57:02Speaker 1: right now. There's like a low key little war going on.

- 57:36Speaker 1: for a long time. You what a few years ago
- 57:39Speaker 1: you were doing a song every week. That's right, that's
- 57:42Speaker 1: thet That's when I met you, right right? Yeah? I
- 57:45Speaker 1: mean Mondays, Yeah me Mondays, That's what I called it.
- 57:48Speaker 1: So you know how people consume music nowadays. More I
- 57:51Speaker 1: felt like something wasn't working for me, you know what
- 57:54Speaker 1: I'm saying. I kept dropping projects. You know, you work
- 57:57Speaker 1: on a project for a fucking year, six months, and
- 58:00Speaker 1: then people are over and in like two weeks, you
- 58:01Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. For sure, So I had to
- 58:03Speaker 1: do something and make my presence felt more, and so
- 58:07Speaker 1: I did this series I called The Mean Mondays fifty
- 58:09Speaker 1: two songs and fifty two weeks for the whole year.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Actually I continued past the year another like three months,
- 58:14Speaker 1: so it was from really like sixty four or something.
- 58:17Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. But christ But what I
- 58:19Speaker 1: did is it just created this online presence, you know
- 58:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying, A lot of doors open, a lot
- 58:24Speaker 1: of people started reaching out, kind of got the ball
- 58:26Speaker 1: roll into where we are now. You know, talk about
- 58:31Speaker 1: obviously because you've you've been like you've been on tours
- 58:36Speaker 1: recently with Chris Webbe and h and Burner and and
- 58:42Speaker 1: you've you're kind of like, are you the biggest Armanian
- 58:47Speaker 1: rapper for sure? For sure? Right? Yeah? For sure? Yeah
- 58:52Speaker 1: I could probably say that, Yeah, I definitely you know,
- 58:54Speaker 1: the first for my for my community to do it
- 58:57Speaker 1: on this level. You know what I'm saying. There's always
- 58:58Speaker 1: been you know, kids on a street level trying to
- 59:01Speaker 1: you know, trying to do it, even when I started,
- 59:04Speaker 1: like over ten years ago. You know what I'm saying,
- 59:06Speaker 1: but like nobody really stuck to it, you know. Yeah,
- 59:08Speaker 1: So was it like hard to get embraced by your
- 59:12Speaker 1: community or was that an easy part? No. I mean
- 59:15Speaker 1: in the beginning, it was like both Armenians and non
- 59:19Speaker 1: Armenians are like, why is this Armening got rappen? You
- 59:22Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, because it's just so different. But
- 59:24Speaker 1: you know, the whole, I feel like hip hop as
- 59:26Speaker 1: a whole just kind of been evolving and more accepting
- 59:29Speaker 1: of different you know, different ethnicities and stuff. So like, yeah,
- 59:33Speaker 1: then I became that guy in my community, you know
- 59:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying, and they embraced me. And also like
- 59:37Speaker 1: when they heard me, they're like, Okay, this guy is
- 59:39Speaker 1: not like he can really rap, Like this is a
- 59:41Speaker 1: real hip hop artist, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 59:43Speaker 1: I'm not doing it for Armenians or you know what
- 59:46Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like I'm just trying to compete with everything
- 59:49Speaker 1: happens to be Armenian, you know what I'm saying. And
- 59:52Speaker 1: so then they really embraced me, and since then, like
- 59:54Speaker 1: my people were having my back, Like the Armening community
- 59:57Speaker 1: is pretty big, Like of course we are in LA
- 59:59Speaker 1: but like worldwide. They fuck with me just off the
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: strength of that. Before these tours, we just meed like
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I've been touring, you know, small runs in like Europe, Canada,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: east to West coast, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: shout out to my people. You know, I know that
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you're a big I know you. So you're so you're
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: a huge NAS fan, huge Eminem guy. Yep, you put
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: out a song kind of as an homage to NASA,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: right to both of them, So TNA's and Eminem. Yeah,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: and you told me recently that NAS heard the song. Yeah.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I haven't really told this to anybody, but uh, tell
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the story. So what happened was, this was twenty sixteen,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: so you put this song out when I put I
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: put this mixtape out. So this was like a year
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: like things just were just not going well, you know
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It was right before I did the
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: whole Me Monday's thing, and just like you know, just
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: being a fan, you know, I just wanted to rap
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: over those beats. So I just did a mixtape called
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Nas and m It was all their beats, you know
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But then one specific song I called
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: a Letter to the King, which was like an actual tribute,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like the last song on
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: the tape. First verse, I'm talking to Nas, second verse,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I'm talking to M. And I did it over the
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Renegade beat. Oh fire, okay, So and a song came
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: on fire like a lot of like dope boys and
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: re cops like everybody posted about it, like yo, this
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: shit is incredible, you know what I mean. So then
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: we decided to fucking go to Queensbridge and going to
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Detroit and actually shoot a video for it and kind
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: of go all out with it, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: And that was that. So that was in twenty sixteen,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: like in the twenty sixteen and then recently just like
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: last year, so like a good three years later, I
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: get a FaceTime out of nowhere and it's fucking Nas
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and I'm like, yo, what the fuck? You know what
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I'm saying. And the reason I did Nas and M,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: by the way, is because, like I mean, they're my
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: favorite rappers like kind of growing up and when I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: started doing this, you know, so I always say, like,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: if I had to pick my two biggest influences would
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: be Nas and them. Of course there's more, you know
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So yeah, and it was fucking Nas,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. He's like, Yo, Bro, I
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: just heard that song. I'm like, which song in that
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: moment because it's been like a few years, realize and
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I'm all excited, like what the fuck? You know what
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like Nas calling me and he's like, Yo,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the one you did for me and him, you know
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And I'm like, oh shit, I'm so
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: happy you finally heard it. He's like, Nah, that shit
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: this song to me, bro, you know what I mean.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: And he touched his you know what i mean, in
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: his chest and then we just kind of like chopped
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: it up about what I got going on and working
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: on a solo project with Scott Storage and this and
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: this and that. Three days later, we was in the studio,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So you were Nas. You
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: went from making a whole project dedicated partly to Nas
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to getting in the studio with him. Yeah. Crazy, And
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: what was that like being in the studio. Happiest day
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: in my life? You guys cut a record together. We did.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: And the only reason I'm saying this because I kind
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: of posted on social media already, but I would want
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: to come back when when we dropped the record and
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: really talk about it. You know what I'm saying. Because
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: I haven't really talked about this, I kind of avoid
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: this question. But yes we have a song and it's
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: fucking crazy. What was The reason? I say is the
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: happiest day in my life is not just because I
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: was in the studio with Nas, but this song came
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: out so perfect, you know what I'm saying. As far
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: as like what I would envision that I would want
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: to do with Nas, it just that's the important together
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: and it could have been you know what I'm saying.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Because also I wasn't ready for it. It's not like
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I expected it and I had a record ready and
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I was like, you'll get on this, you know what
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I'm saying. It was like three days later. And then
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you know, since I was working with Scott. Like Scott
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: he does everything on the spot, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Like he doesn't like send you a bunch of beats,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: you pick from it, Like you go into the session.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: It starts with a conversation like what kind of record
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you want to do? And then he starts making the
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: beat on the spot. You know what I'm saying, that's
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: the same thing. So I went to the studio with
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Scott at Scott's house, maybe a couple of hours before
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: NAS came, Like NAD said he'll be there at like,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: let's say five o'clock, right, So I went to Scott's
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: like at two or three, and we fucking created the beat.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: But he was in Like, honestly, I never see Scott
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: that excited either, you know what I'm saying, Like he's
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: obviously worked with everybody, but he was fucking excited. So
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: he fucking murdered it in like twenty minutes, and I
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: started kind of brainstorming ideas. By the time NAS came,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I felt like comfortable, like, okay, we got sted. So
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: you recorded this at Scott Storch's house. Hey, what your
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: relationship with Scott Storche? How did that start? Kind of
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: through through Berner be Real Steve Lobell. So yeah, I'm
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: dropping an album with Berner like tonight, probably already it'll
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: be out. So I got a collab album with Berner.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: It's called The Warning on God. Was the first first
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: single with Davies. You know, that's kind of like a family.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I've been knowing Steve Lobel for a long time and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: ship already like maybe two or three years ago. I
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: went in and did one song with Scott, you know
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Okay, So and that was that was amazing.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: That was through Steve Lobell. That was on introduction, you
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And then when I linked with
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: be Real and I linked with Berner and they kind
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: of like a family and their business partners all like Armenians,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: not all, but they have like some business partner and
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: they were all like, Yo, you know me, We've been
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: your biggest fucking fan for so many years, you know
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: what I'm saying. They, Yo, we've been following you from
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: the beginning. They started telling me all the first first
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: ship that I did, and like so you know, they
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: kind of were like the unofficial stamp, you know what
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I'm saying. To Berner, be Real was already like, you know,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: really like bigging me up. So that's kind of how
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I got reintroduced to Scott, Like, Yo, this's not just
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: some independent rapper trying it, Like he's really that dude
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: in our community, right And Scott was already fucking with it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: So then we got we linked back together and we
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: ended up working on a whole project which we're still
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: working on, but we like eighty whole project with Burner
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: and the whole project with Scott Storch. I'm blessed, bro
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Songe with Nas, fucking blessed. I know you got a
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: lot of other big features that you're sitting on, fucking
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: blessed bro. A lot of doors been opening for me lately,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: A lot of big features. Yo. It's crazy because like
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: I do feel like like when I think of you,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: like I think of like a lyrical you know, beast
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: right like. Yeah, but I know some of the features
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: that you're sitting on are with rappers that might be
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a little unexpected. Nas, you would expect absolutely. But I'll
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: tell you like this, like when I did that me
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Monday's Thing and I dropped like all these songs. Like
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: like you said, I always been like a spinner. I
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: always been a good like MC like lyricist. That was
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: always my thing. When I started rapping, I just want
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: to outrap everybody. I forbid anybody out chains me on
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the track, outrap, you know what I mean. But then
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: I kind of turned into more of a real artist.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Like I always made dope
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: hip hop records. I feel I have a lot of
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: gems from even back in the day. But what that
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: me Monday's thing did is like it's sharpened my sword
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: and like I became like just a better songwriter, you
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, because now I'm forced because I
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: was creating a real time It's not like I was
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: sitting on forty songs and I was creating a real
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: time song every week. I was literally doing it because
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I thought of the concept, like in December of like
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: twenty whatever it was. In January, I started, you know
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: what I'm saying, And so sometimes Sunday night, I'm still
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: in there trying to you know, the song and what
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: it did is kind of you know, I was able
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: to let go of like overwrapping and like just you
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: know what, you can overwrap. You could definitely overwrap, bro.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: A lot of lyricists do that, especially when the beats
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: a little bit, you know, yo. I always say this,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: There is a lot of like I do feel like
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: there's with with that genre of hip hop you can
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: go left. Man. There's like a such thing as like
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: being too lyrical. Absolutely absolutely. I'm kind of like like
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: sometimes I'm not really a fan of that no more
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: if that makes any no brom from a lyricist, you
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Like, By the way, there's people
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: like at the door. I don't know if anyone can
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: let them in the keep they keep calling me, I'm
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: sorry the rock you want to go grab it? And
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: this camera just shut off the rock. We can edit
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: this out. Oh it's still okay, Okay, Yeah, you could
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: definitely be be over lyrical, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: and no, no, no, it becomes kind of like a backpack,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: underground almost corny kind of thing when you're trying too hard,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I feel like it's almost
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: like acting. You'll see certain actors like overacting. You'd be like, yo, man,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: it's like it's kind of whack, like absolutely same thing.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: We're rapping, Like I do feel like, you know, without
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: saying anyone's names, one of my friends just started managing
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: an artist. And this artist is from my hometown and
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: is technically a really good rapper, right, Like, yeah, you
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: can rap, but your music is really hard to listen to,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: and that's what it comes down to both things have
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: to both things should be true, right, Like you should
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: be a good rapper, but you also want to be listenable.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I always say, like the greats were always amazing rappers.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Of course this era previous eras the Great Greats, the Goats,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: like they can fucking rap. But it's all about the
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: music at the end of the day, you know what
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I'm saying. And I feel like the music just has
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: become better. And then another thing is working with Scott Storch,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: like he just you know, he just brings like he
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: just makes big records. Like even when you listen to
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: the Noz One, it's hip hop as fucked, but like
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: it's a fucking record, you know what I'm saying. Like,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: and I think that that brought the best out of
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: me too, Like you know what I'm saying, Like just
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: the best songwriting. Even if you listen to this project
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: with Berner, like I'm fucking wrapping my ass off on there,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: but it's fucking records on that, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: And were talking about hustling, you know, it's just like
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: a relatable you know, it's just not like lyrical miracle bullshit.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying I was gonna say because
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I remember coming up as a kid like I used
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: to just there was like an era in my hip
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: hop life where I was so I would like put
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: my nose up to anything that wasn't like super fucking
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: boom bab or like yeah, I had to like yeah,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: like you remember, you know, like those hip hop snobs
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I would call them, yeah, like ah, if it wasn't
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: tylip quality or fucking right you know, or mortal technique
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: or some shit like man, that shit ain't real rap.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Shout to Immortal Technique by the way too. Yeah, man,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I agree. I was like that too. I think we
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: had a similar little era. We had a similar hip
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: hop kind of upbringing. Yeah, you and I like connect
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: a lot on the type of shit we were listening to.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Like I watch you do interviews and shit and the
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: things you say. I'm like, I used to be like
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: that too. Yeah, But like that's the thing, though, hip
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: hop has evolved, and like artists have evolved, and I've
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: evolved too, you know what I'm saying. I would still
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: about hip hop and contents and you know what I mean,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Like That's what I'm all about. But fucking good music.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, little known fact about armen
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: used to be a pharmacist. Yes, now can you? Aren't
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: you always a pharmacist? Yeah, I'm a pharmacist. I'm a
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: licensed pharmacist right now. You know what I'm saying, I'm
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: just not working. You're not a farm pharmacist. I own
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: a couple of pharmacies at this point. You know what
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I'm saying. So what I did is I guess that's
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: kind of like an Armenian immigrant type of thing, you
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: know what I mean, like how we raised a lot
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: of immag Let me ask you this is is the
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: pharmacist field? Is that something that a lot of Armenians
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: get into. No, I mean yes and no. But I'm
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: saying like just to go in to school, got to
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: be a doctor, lawyer, that kind of upbringing. You know
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I feel like a lot of a
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: lot of immigrant communities can relate. Like, you know, your
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: parents come from these different countries where they usually like
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: fled from or whatever and come to America for like
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: a better life, or Europe or whatever, you know, to
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: the Western world, and then it gets pounded into your
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: head when you were a kid like, you know, you
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: got to go to school even though they never went
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: to school, you know what I'm saying. And that's kind
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: of how I was brought up, you know what I'm saying. Like,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: and then I grew up in Amsterdam. I don't know
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: if you knew that, Like I was born in LA.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I was born in LA. I grew up in Amsterdam
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: first eighteen years of my life, and then I moved
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: back to Oh shit, yeah, I'm like all multicultural, you
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And over there that's another thing,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: like if you live in a country like the Netherlands,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: like everybody goes to college. Like it's not like America,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: where like I don't know thirty percent goes to college.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I'm just throwing a number out over there. It's probably
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: like eighty ninety percent of kids go. It's just part
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: of I don't know, society, you know, right. So I
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: was kind of raised with that mentality, even though I'm
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: fucking into music and I started doing music a little bit,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: and like the final years of high school, then I
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: moved to LA really wanted to do music, but I
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: enrolled in college to even move to LA. Like I
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: used school to kind of like a tool to move here,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, living on financial aide and
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: with your family in Amsterdam when you move back to La. Yeah,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: So I grew up with my mom and my brother.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Like my pop's pasted when I was only one, So
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: my brother, myself and my brother we moved out here,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: and then my mom obviously followed, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: So I ended up going to college uc LA, and
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: then in school, I was always kind of interested in
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: like medical shit, you know what I mean, if I
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: were to do even though I know it doesn't make
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: any sense, like it wouldn't help me in my music
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: career at all. But there's always I didn't really know
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: what I'm doing. You can always depend on a medical
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: degree because that shit isn't going away for sure. And
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: then you know, just being like I said, like I'm
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: the first in my community to do this music thing too,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: So there was like no guidance like at all, you
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Like I didn't have an older
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: homie that had a cousin that was I don't know
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: in A and R D and you know what I mean,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: or like someone that was doctor Dre's cousin or like,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I had no ties, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: we were just young kids trying to figure it out.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: We meaning me and my you know what I mean team,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: And meanwhile, I'm going to school, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: So I ended up going to pharmacy school. Really, I
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: was thinking of going to medical school and then I'm like, yo,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I can't be a fucking doctor and trying to rap,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So I kind of bandwidth.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I kind of took the next best thing, you know
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: what I mean. But it wasn't until I was working
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: as a pharmacist. I'm like, yo, I ain't trying to
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: do this, bro, you know what I'm saying. And I
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: feel like having that money coming in also probably helps
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: with so at first dream yeah, at first, that's what
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: I did. Like, I worked a couple of years and like,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: whatever money I could make, I would, you know, shoot
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: this video, let's do this, let's do that. And then
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: it became we got to a level where my time
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: and my dedication was more important than a little bit
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: of money, because you know, you make a little bit
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: of money, but it's not as crazy as people think. Bro,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like you live in LA.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: If you run your own business, that's different. But if
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: you just working at like a Rite aid or a
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: CVS like I was doing, Yeah, you make good living
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: like a decent Do you have your own pharmacies? So
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: now I got Yeah, we got Avantanna Pharmacy in Tarzana.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: So I'm like a partner in two pharmacies that I
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: just kind of like it's under my license and I
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: overlooked it. I don't, I don't you know what I mean,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I don't work there. That's interesting, Dang. It's also being
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: an independent artist, man, you gotta find ways to make money.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: And you know we do the merch ding. We got
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: a store, Yeah, you got the Pentagon in Glendale, Penegon La.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Pentagon Records is our labels, So the store is the
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Pentagon LA in Glendale. You know, we started the clothing
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: line and then you know, these are all ways of
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: just like expanding, you know what I mean, the hustle
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: until while working on the main thing. You know what
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I'm saying, I want you to talk about because I
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: before I moved to La, I didn't really know any
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Armenian people besides vic One because I've known Vig for
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: a long long time. Oh yeah, me too, shout out Vig.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: And you know, moving to LA Like I live in Burbank,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: the Glendale Burbank. Yah, you live among all the Armenians. Yeah,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: all my neighbors are Armenian. And my god, if y'all
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: don't love you, some nice cars you dropped down Glen Oaks. Man,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: it's like g wagons and and beamers and benzess bore.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Like a lot of times I meet people and like, yo,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Armenians got money. And it's like Armenians come from a
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: third world fucking country and but we make money, you
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Like they come really like to
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: America to live the American dream and whether it's like
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: the school route or the hustle route, because we're kind
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: of heavy in both, you know what I'm saying. Also,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I feel like circulating the dollar in the community. I've noticed,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: you know what I mean, keeping that dollar in your
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: own community, specifically like the newer generation like us, and
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: you know what I mean, that's what we focused on,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: like just building each other up, supporting And I'm sitting
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: here because of like like I said, like Burner and
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: be realing them. They had like Armenian business partners and
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: they were like, yo, you that dude for us, you
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Like, so, you know, we kind
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: of linked up and the resources became that much bigger,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Boy, I wanted to ask
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: you just because I do feel like there's uh when
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: it comes to the Armenian community. I want some education
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: on what's going on right now. I know there's some
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: sort of there's like a war going on. I don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: know how to pronounce the name of the other. Yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: can you kind of just educate people what's going on there?
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Because I actually posted something on Instagram, which we appreciate.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: So when I got Jack last week, the witness was
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: this little Armenian kid at wingstop and he was like, Yo,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: they look like they're Armenians. So I posted two Armenian
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: or Middle Eastern people, right, and some guy dm me respectfully.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: He did. Only one guy dm me respectfully though, and
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: he was like, hey, you should reward that because people
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: might think you're So I did reword it, but I
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: didn't mean any like malice, and I obviously don't know
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: what's going on. But he like people might think you're
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: an agent of whatever that is. Say that again, it's
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: like a little country, right, like to like Turkey. We
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: was all part of the Soviet Union before. But history
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: goes far, so I'll try to say it real quick.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: But if you heard of the Armenian genocide, which is
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: not Azerbaijama, that's Turkey, So Turk, the modern day Turkey
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: at the time it was, I wanted to get into
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: that too, because I feel like a lot of people
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: don't understand it's all kind of interconnected. There was an
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Armenian genocide in nineteen fifteen, so a little more of
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: one hundred years ago, where a million and a half
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Armenians were massacred by Turkey. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: The whole thing about it, the reason why we still
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: protest and still talk about it. I started this whole
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: movement about it, right called Open Wounds. It is because
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: to this day it hasn't been recognized as a genocide.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: So basically they just got away with killing one point
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: five million people and history looks the other way, and
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: history looks the other way, and you know, if you
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: know that the definition of genocide is like the planned
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: extermination or the systematic extermination of a specific group of people,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: and that's what was happening, like the Holocaust of the Jews,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. To this day, it hasn't
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: been recognized, so there's always tension between you know, Turkey
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: and Armenia and azerbaidjhan Is like allies with Turkey, like
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: they're kind of brother and sister country. And there's other
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: governments like the United States that still haven't recognized either.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Why because their allies with Turkey too, Like America, we
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: got army bases and things like that. Turkey because they
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: have the specific have a perfect like entrance into the
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Middle East, you know what I mean as far as
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: like geographically, and America don't want to lose that, so
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: we need that, you know what I'm saying. So it's
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: a lot of political things behind it obviously, but I
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: mean forty eight or forty nine individual states have recognized
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: it mostly. I just saw countries saw they're a new
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: state just recognized it. I think maybe search tanking might
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: have posted about it or could be searche from system
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: system of it down. He's like super like he's a
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: real activisty like this, Yeah, like I kind of system
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: of it down. Is probably my second favorite band ever
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: for sure, and I kind of followed in their footsteps
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: because we grew up on them and they talked about
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: the army and Genisie and stuff in their music and stuff,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: and then that's kind of how I started doing that
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: in hip hop, you know what I'm saying. But yeah,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: so going with all of that, there's always been like
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: a tension between these countries. Now in Azerbaijan, there's a
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: little piece of land in the middle of the country,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: like all of it used to be Armenia before the
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Genosist first of all, you know what I'm saying. Then
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: there's a little piece of country that's like ninety five
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: percent Armenium populated. But after the Soviet Union broke and
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: everyone became independent, the Soviet Union decided to give that
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: piece of country to Azerbaijan instead of even though it
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: was Armenian that piece of land, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: So it's been a war over that piece of land
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: for like fucking years decades now, but it's always like
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: coming and going. The main issue now these last few
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: weeks that it became a big thing because I guess
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: it was a ceasefire and it's the middle of a
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: pandemic and all that shit. But even though there was
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: a ceasefire, they just broke it and they just attacked
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: not only military targets but civilian targets like out of nowhere,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And that was the whole thing. Now, like, yo,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: what what's happening? You know what I'm saying. So that's
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: going on actually going on right now? Yeah, right now?
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Damn you know that that part of the world is
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: it's crazy, you know what I'm saying. I was about
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to ask you, Like you know, I feel like especially
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: you know when you think of like uh Israel and
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Palestine and it's almost like it's that kind of like
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: if you met someone who was Turkish, right, It's like
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: there's automatically just like it's it's pretty sad because you know, I,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: like I said, I grew up in Amsterdam. If you
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: know anything about Netherlands and Europe, mad Turkish people. It's
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: mad Middle Eastern people, right, but predominantly in like halland Germany, France,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Turkish people I grew up with mad Turkish people, got Turkeys.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I'm just gonna ask you like, yeah, that's kind of
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: personally I did. But most Armenians because they never really
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you know, the only thing we grew up with learning
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: about turkeys d the enemy, which is I mean, look,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: in a newer generation, we don't really think like that anymore.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I feel like that's kind of you don't feed hate anymore,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. We actually blame countries like
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Azeba Jahan and them for raising their kids like weed
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: the enemy for some reason. So that country and Jaydy
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: literally have that, Like Matt Clips was going around these
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: last few weeks of like school and people teaching, you know,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: so in that country, they were literally doctrining these kids
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: to hate Armenian back. We don't do that, I like
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to say as much anymore, but inside, I mean that
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: tension is always there for sure. That's great. I mean,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: think about it, if a million and a half people
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: were murdered, like a lot of our grandparents, their entire
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: families got wiped out, you know what I'm saying, But
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: no one ever paid the price. So it's like a
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: chip on your shoulder. It was nineteen eighteen, right, nineteen fifteen,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: nineteen fifteen, nineteen, like seventeen or eighteen. Damn dude. Yeah,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: that's crazy. I saw that there's a movie that's coming
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: out called A Promise with Christian Bale. Yeah, that came
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: out a couple of years ago. But it's coming out
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: on Netflix right, Okay, Actually it should be about it.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I think it's this week. It's on Netflix now, and
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: that's about the genocide. That's about the army and genocide. Yep,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: that's the first time a big movie was made about
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: it too. We went to the premiere. Kim Kardashian was there.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I got my picture, You got your Kim picture. You
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. That shit want super viral. You
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: post anything with Kim, you get mad. It's no easy.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Do you feel like the Kardashians are there for the
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: because obviously their dad was Armenian. They are okay, they
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: always speak about it. The army and community loves them
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: for that, you know what I'm saying, because I mean
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: just using your platform, and obviously their fucking platform is
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: so big. They talk about it a lot, all of them.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Do you feel some sort of responsibility being like someone
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: who grew up in Amsterdam and obviously the hip hop
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: community is such a at least now, I feel like
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: just some it's like a safe place for everybody. I guess,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: you know, like hip hop bring everybody together to try
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: to like you know, I guess as a leader of
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: like your community, do you feel like any pressure to
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: try to like bring bring people together or break down
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: any sort of stereotypes people might have or like anything
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: like that. That's that's a good question. Like I feel
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: like I always talked about these type of issues because
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: hip hop being like the voice of the voiceless, the
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: voice of the people just originally as a genre, me
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: coming in from like a new you know, ethnicity into
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: the game, I had to like represent or tell the
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: story of my people. Yeah, honestly, I didn't know. I
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: mean honestly, I knew based because I was like, yo,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: the you know, your your brand, your shirt, our wounds
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: are still open. Yeah that I just that's that's how
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I figured out what was going on. And then we
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: have some some members of our staff at the Station
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Armenian that kind of kind of gave me up about
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: the genocide, and I was like, damn, I had no
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: fucking idea. Yeah, that ship I could probably say, like
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I did a lot of damage because I did basically,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: I just did one song about it. I always say
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: it's really a song about crimes against humanity, but specifically
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: I'm talking about the army and genocide. It's called open Wounds.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: And then we did these T shirts. You know what
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: I'm saying with the ar wounds are still open. It
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: just says our ones just still open. Nineteen fifteen. And
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: you know, we just did that to like Award in
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: the video, and we had a few printed. It wasn't
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: like a thing we thought of, you know what I mean.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: But then everyone started asking about those T shirts and
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: every time I was wearing it every single day, someone
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: would stop me and say, what does that mean? For
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: some reason, it's the really like a dope design, and
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: it catches people's attention, and we realized, like yo, this
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: is like a tool to like raise you know, raise
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: awareness and educate people kind of in a way never
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: been done. It's kind of like a dope, fresh new
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: way using hip hop and fashion. So then we started
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: printing those shirts and giving them to as many influences
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: as we could. Yeah, man, and Like Game was definitely
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the first person. I mean he lived in Glendale too,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: so that was gonna say. Game used to live in Glendale. Yeah,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: so he'd been around our meanings, so he knew the
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: struggle and he knew so he embraced it right away.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: He posted it and then he jumped on the remix
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: of the song, you know, shout out the Game. But
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: then after that, so many people, you know, we got CARDI,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: we got posed, we got met the man wearing it
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: because we got As far as what's going on in
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: your country right now, is there any way people can
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: like I guess I don't know, is there any sort
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: of way like people can help or for sure spread awareness.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: I always say it is like two ways you can help.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Obviously spread awareness like we we'd love for other you know,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: races and people. I've never even heard of that other country.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: That's what's crazy, right, And it must be very small.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: It's a small country, Armenia being small. I think Azebaijan's
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: even smaller, right if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, so it's
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: just it's a super small country and it sucks because
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: you guys are from the same part like that. The
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: main thing about Armenians is we originally Christian, right, Armenians
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: are actually the first Christian nation in the whole world,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: like officially adopted Christianity and like the year three oh one,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean, like the first Christian nation
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: in the world. Everyone surrounding it is like pretty extreme
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: muslims Iran. It's Turkey. So it's always been religion history,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: It's always been a religious thing. Religion is a motherfucker.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Ain't sure that shit is crazy to think like that
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: is like, it's crazy that that's probably the reason of
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: all the most wars. And I think, I mean, I
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: think at the root of them, probably all of them,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: like every single war, there's religion wrapped up in there somewhere.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: It's fucking Are you a pretty religious guy? I'm pretty really,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: I mean, I'm definitely spiritual, spiritual. I think there's I
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: definitely consider Christians. You're Christian, Okay. The difference is, I
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: guess I am part of a church. You know, I
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: don't go every week or you know what I mean,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: you believe, but I believe I believe there's some something
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: controlling all of this. You know. That's wild man. Shout
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: out to uh to uh you man for for for
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: doing your thing and the album with Berner Join. The
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: album with Burners called the warning and you got big
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: features on there, stoles peas on there, Davies Whiz be real,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: be real, and my boy Chris Webby. Shout out to
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Chris Webby, my dog a D. Shout out to Ad
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: and the little Homie Franco Drew and also shout out
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: to AD's teeth who need their own Instagram brand new.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I remember got them, he got them chompers, Yes he do,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: shout out Ad. He'll fuck up a corner on the cop.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: That's my friend. He's my boy. He's my boy. Every
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: time I see him. I say this my brother too,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: shout out a D. Shout out all the all the
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: features came really organically, Like you know Berner obviously he
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: has a super crazy network. But I made it a
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: point that, like, I wasn't gonna bother Berner because he's
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: already given me a big look by doing this project
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: with me. Yeah, so I was gonna hit up Berner, like, YO,
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: can we get this person? Can we get you know
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So all the features basically I got
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: off my strength obviously saying it's an army and burner album.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: I did hit him up for Dave East because we
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: met David. I met Dave's first time when I was
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: on tour with Berner in New York. We got a
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: soul out Sobs, and I got off stage right before
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Berner was gonna go on. I walked into the green
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: room and yeah, it was Dave's you know what I'm saying,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: and he just, you know, just briefly we sell what's up.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: But that's when it clicked, Like we had that record
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: on God and I was like, yo, I need Dave
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: East on there. So that's the only one. When I
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: hit Berner, I'm like, yo, let's get Dave's on this one.
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: He connected me. Whatever. I went to the studio where
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: bern It wasn't there, but all the other ones, even
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: whiz Be Real was already my my man, and then
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: stoles p which kind of happened in a really dupe
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: way because I didn't even know stoles Be he knew
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: who the fuck I was, but apparently he was fucking
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: with me, you know what I'm saying. And later in
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: the studio he said, sway, put me onto you and
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: you dead nice. And you know when those legends like
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: the Goats show you love like that, like that's that
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: means a lot to me, is this is gonna be
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: the because I feel like you've been uh kind of
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: low key the last couple of years. I've been stacking
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: up music. Yeah, is this gonna be like what kicks
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: off the floodgate of a whole lot of are mean,
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: this is it, baby, We're here now. Because we just
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: had a discussion the other day. I was like, man like,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: now you gotta like you gotta like you gotta get
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: on your campaign shit, Like you know, you can't just
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: drop this and then go away for a year. Of course, no,
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: of course, No, That's how we've been planning it. You
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like I just been locked in
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: the last couple of years because everything needed to just it,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And like just from the
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: production to the everything down to the artwork to just
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: that way the team's moving. Everything's been fucking amazing. Now
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: it's next level and it's starting off with this Burner album.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: And you know you've seen it obviously we dropped the
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: first single, then we dropped the video. It's been doing great. Man.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: I've been looking at I mean, I follow you on Spotify,
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: so you know your ship pops up all the time
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: and like, Yo, you're killing it on Spotify, man, Yeah,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: just fucking everything. Just got music is great. It's great, dude.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: I think, like, I think you're evolving as an artist
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: because I remember when I think I don't remember who
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: who brought you onto the show? At first? Was it
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: Nico Blitz who said that it was remember who Tommy is? Tommy?
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: He was on the camera fucking to because you were
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: you were? Were you new? And it just because he
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: told me bootleg keV and you know, we're doing this
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: freestyle thing. But I guess you hadn't really done any
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: like now it's obviously a thing with you and head
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Head wasn't even parting. It was when it was me
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: and Damage and Drayson I exactly. So I just pulled up.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: He called me, like, pull up right now, unprepared whatever.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: I'm thinking, like I'm just being for like whatever. And
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: then I realized, Okay, it's like a real thing, you
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So I gotta come back because
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I don't think we ever it wasn't even being released
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: on YouTube yet at the time. We just did it. Yeah,
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: I think what happened was I think that I don't
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: remember how the freestyle came out, but I think you
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: didn't feel good about the freestyle in it, and I
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: don't think we were. I think we were like, I
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: think we had just started it, so we were like,
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: you know what, let's not even drop this one, because
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: I feel like you were. You hadn't dropped any before either.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: It was super early, but yeah, no, we gotta do.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: So I was like, then when you and hand really
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: started going in on it, I might start a freestyle
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: thing from here because we're not even allowed to have
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: people come to the station anymore. I know, the station's
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: shut down, Like, so that's why I'm starting this. I
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: was already thinking like I might start my way. That'd
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: be dope. Yeah, usually I would do all of that
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: now because it's album time and ship do it. Let's
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: do it next week, let's do it. You got some
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: shit ready, I come through next time? Yo, it's fire.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: But yeah no ready, but no, I was gonna say, bro,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: like I do feel like when I first heard your ship,
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: I was like, I think I heard a couple of
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: songs that I just like looked up right, and I
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: was like, Yo, this dude can rap. Yeah, But I
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: was like, I don't know I just don't know if
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I'd listened to him, like, cause he's like fire, like
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: yeah he could rap, but I feel like, no, I
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: know stuff that's how stuff like the stuff you've played
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: me like and then just the stuff that's already come out,
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: Like I'm like, yo, this dude is like you're growing
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: into a dope artist, man, and so appreciate it. Just
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: don't let up. Man appreciated. No, man, we just getting started.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Come on. Mean, the album is out officially now with Armine.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: It's called The Warning. Like we said, whiz khalif on.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: There be real styles, p Davies, the singles, couple of
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: singles that we dropped already doing crazy so and if
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: you need medicine go to his pharmacy in Tarzana. Yeah,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: but don't hit me, you know, don't hit him for
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: no weirdo shit. You gotta go in there. Talked about it, Okay, okay,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: because I'm we just blew up his spot. Everyone go
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: hitting him like you know what I'm saying. So all
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: the rappers be hitting me themselves. Everybody chill, yeah, yeah,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: come grab some gear at the Pende. Go get some
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: gear at the Pentagon and uh And that's a that's
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: in Glendale and yeah, get the album man. Oh and
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: shout out to odd Socks. Oh, we got to do
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: the odd Socks. Love you our new sponsor, odd Socks. Yeah,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: we get some Throw me some socks over here. Make
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: sure you go to odd socksoficial dot com. Jesus Christ,

- 1:32:43Speaker 1: world and use the key keyword bootleg cab for twenty
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: percent off cold Stone Austin. Did you say cold Stone Austin.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: It's Stone Cold. People don't know Austin cold Stone Tradicial
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: dot com. I mean, before we wrap this up, Uh,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: we got to talk about only built for Cuban Links. Yes,
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: so only built for Cuban Links twenty fifth anniversary yep,
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: which is crazy makes me feel old as shit, right,
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: but me and my boy were talking and I wanted
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: to get your take because it's gonna be part of
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: the same episode. Uh. We did our top ten favorite
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: Wu Tang albums, including all solos. That's not including affiliates,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: so that's not including like Kill Killer Army and Kill
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: Army so none of that included, and no blackout for
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: met rethan Methan Red. So I'm curious. What are your
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: top five Wu Tang albums in order? In order? My
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: favorite is thirty six Chambers I mean only built for
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: Cuban links is like a very second close, I mean
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: close second. Okay, So that's top two. Then I would three.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: I would put Supreme Clientele. Okay, I'm not even mad
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: at that. For me, it's like Iron Man and Supreme Clientele.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: But I'll go with Supreme Clientele. And then I would
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: go with Liquid Swords and Wu Tang Forever, all right.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: Number one is really the saga continues because I'm on
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: that album. Did you know that I did? Not? I'm
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: on a fucking Wu Tang album. That's crazy. Not only
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: do I have a song with Nas, I'm on a
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: Wu Tang album too. Yeah, Childhood Dream, I'm not even
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: gonna lie. I kind of just disconnected from Wu Tang
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: albums after eight Diagrams or whatever they came out. I
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: was like, I feel you and I have had this
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: discussion about some of our favorite rappers. We will dave them,
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: but we're just like fuck, I mean, you know, how
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: long can you keep something up too? You know, but
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: if you know from from more recent work like Mathematics produced,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: that would Rizen. I don't know, if you right? Yeah
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: you know it dropped in like twenty seventeen. I remember,
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: I remember that just a solid But I'm not saying
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: it's fucking iron Man or Now. My five was, uh,
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: you're a big ghost face guy. Clearly he's one of
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: my he's in my top five. He's like around five
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: six for me. But I got thirty ex chambers, then
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: liquid swords, okay, I'll respect, then only built for Cuban links,
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: then forever and five I had supreme clientele. So it's
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: the same five. Yeah shout, I got a meth. I
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: feel like this album doesn't get celebrated like the Purple tape,
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: which is a damn shame because this ship is incredible.
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: It's a masterpiece. It's a fucking masterpiece. Well there's our
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: means take on his favorite Wu Tang albums. Boom, Yeah,
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: there you go.
