- 0:29talk about. Also great opportunity that we talk about important. The most important

- 0:36your questions answered from Tim O'Brien, so as you're listening this more to love
- 0:39to get you on the air three two one thirteen ten. That's three two
- 0:42one thirteen ten. But we've got a lot of great stuff to talk about
- 0:45this week for Tim O'Brien comes to us from the Healthy Place online find your
- 0:49Healthy Place dot com. That's find your Healthy Place dot com three locations west
- 0:53side of Madison, Fitchburg and sun Prairies where you will find the great folks,
- 0:57those those wellness consultants at the Healthy Place as well as online it finds
- 1:02your Healthy Place dot Com and Tim before we get to phone calls and emails.
- 1:07Just one thing to talk about. I mentioned the energy that you bring.
- 1:10A lot of folks have issues with kind of low energy, and I
- 1:14I was dealing with fatigue and a doctor friend of mine said, have you
- 1:18ever had your vitamin D levels checked? And I thought, why No,
- 1:22I haven't, And now this is something I've got to look into. But
- 1:25people forget that things like like chronic fatigue and other issues can oftentimes come from
- 1:32just not getting enough of those vital vitamins and nutrients and other things that your
- 1:37body absolutely needs to be healthy and happy day in and day out. It's
- 1:42wild, dude. Some of those very basic vitamin D, some basic minerals
- 1:46like iodine and magnesium. And you look at vitamin D, you know it's
- 1:49a multifaceted role in the body. Health is linked to energy levels in a
- 1:53bunch of ways, muscle function, These are just things you wouldn't think of.
- 1:57Bone health, mood regulation, bring in health, immune support, mitochondrial
- 2:01function. Even mitochondria is like the furnace or the firehouse of your cell,
- 2:06so you want to keep that fueled. Vitamin D also helps like sleep regulation,
- 2:10so if you're getting deeper, better sleep on a regular basis, then
- 2:14your energy levels will be good. So that's where you know, when you
- 2:15come into the healthy Place or any trusted health food store, like they're going
- 2:21to ask you questions and discover where your concerns are. You know, how's
- 2:27your energy, how's your pain in your body, how's your sleep going,
- 2:30how's your immune system? And then the response is from that leads the wellness
- 2:36consultant like, okay, well here's a few things you could do, you
- 2:38know, and then we explain each thing and something to consider. You know,
- 2:42hey, consider taking these three items for a couple of months, see
- 2:45how you feel. And that's that's the coolest part for me, Sean that
- 2:49that's the favorite part of my job is when they come in, you know,
- 2:52they're kind of like wondering if we're going to be helpful, and then
- 2:55a few recommendations are made. They come back six weeks later and they report
- 3:00their beneficial change and it is so cool, and then the light comes on
- 3:04in their mind of like, oh my goodness, maybe there's something to this
- 3:07supplement thing, Maybe there's something to this health thing, you know, maybe
- 3:08there's something to this life thing. And then you all of a sudden,
- 3:12you encourage this little flame that starts to burn. That is such a cool
- 3:15thing to hear and see. And of course it's going on every day at
- 3:20the Healthy Place. Stop on and they'd love to see your smiling face,
- 3:22whether it's the West Side, Fitchburger, Sun Prairie and of course wellness consultants
- 3:25as well as able to order right online at find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 3:30That's find your Healthy Place dot com. Phone lines are open six to
- 3:32eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six to eight three two one thirteen
- 3:38ten. Heading down the road to the village of Mount horeb and Jim joins
- 3:40us. Jim, welcome to the program. You're on the air with Tim
- 3:43O'Brien from the Healthy Place. Jim Good, Hello, Hello, Hi Jim,
- 3:49Hey Jim, how are you buddy? Not too bad? Good?
- 3:53How can I help you? Well? I had my annual fust closing last
- 3:58week and my sugar and my blood is quite high. I was wondering if
- 4:03there's some type of natural pillows and take to get the sugar punt down.
- 4:08Yes, yeah, good, good question. Diet is what I like to
- 4:12always point to first, so that's probably obvious to you. The supplement that
- 4:16I recommend is one called glucose control. So if you go to our website
- 4:23and you type in glucose, it will pull that product up. And I
- 4:26like it because it has a really nice blend of nutrients. And then the
- 4:30second product I bring up if somebody's real concerned about it, or say they're
- 4:33trying to get away from like the metformin or some of the drugs to balance
- 4:38the sugar levels, I'll encourage another supplement called clinical OPC, which is a
- 4:44grape seed extract that has really just a plethora of science and studies behind it.
- 4:48So glucose control has your top minerals like chromium, and herbal content like
- 4:55geminius, selvestra and cinnamon, and all your hop most studied nutrients for balancing
- 5:02and bringing sugar levels down, including I like to point out alphala poic acid
- 5:08is a universal antioxidant inside the glucose control that converts glucose, converts sugar into
- 5:15energy. You know, we're just chatting about energy and vitamin D levels,
- 5:17and same thing with those that are battling high levels of sugar often battle fatigue
- 5:24issues. And so if you can take that higher level of sugar in the
- 5:28blood and convert that into energy that's going to have a multi benefits there.
- 5:31So those two products, Jim glucose control and clinical OPC grapes to extract.
- 5:38I've seen that play out hundreds and hundreds of times over the last decades,
- 5:42because you can imagine in this community that's one of the top issues reported and
- 5:46our wellness consultants if you want to pop into a store or give a call
- 5:49over there, they could talk more in depth on it. But that's an
- 5:53area that we've been very helpful to people. So I'm excited for you.
- 5:56Thank you, great question, Jim. Thank you for the call. You
- 6:00two can be like Jim, if you've got a question for Tim, love
- 6:02to get you on the air this morning at six eight three two one thirteen
- 6:05ten. That's six o eight three two one thirteen ten. And we haven't
- 6:09even mentioned yet, Tim, about the phone calls and about the little thank
- 6:13you that you provide folks like Jim who take the time to call in with
- 6:15their excellent question. Oh Jim, you might not have even known, but
- 6:18we're gonna get you a twenty five dollars thank you. So every time you
- 6:23call in, you know it's a few reasons I love phone calls because it
- 6:27helps display what our army of wellness consultants do every single day for this community,
- 6:31and it helps the person calling, and number three, it helps those
- 6:34that are listening. So I love phone calls on this show. So I

- 8:09Place dot com. That's Tim Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 8:13And Stephanie email. She says, how can you address thyroid problems naturally?
- 8:18A few years back I found out I had hypothyroid ism, and the meds
- 8:22were beneficial at first, but now it seems that they're not as effective.
- 8:26Any advice and that is an email from Stephanie. Tim. Yeah, great
- 8:31question, Stephanie. Thyroid issues are super common. I want to say,
- 8:33it's like seventy percent in women, and it's more common for women than for
- 8:39men to deal with thyroid issues. It's no fun. I mean, it
- 8:41leads to energy issues, skin hair concerns, it can lead to metabolism struggles,
- 8:48and a lot of folks are taking synthroid or leave with thyroxin. My
- 8:52mom grew up, or I grew up taking or watching my mom take thyroid
- 8:56medication for her thyroid battling weights specifically was her struggle. Same with my sister
- 9:01and for her story. And I've seen this play out now for a number
- 9:07of customers. When they get the right amount of iodine and the right amount
- 9:11of selenium tyrosine, those two amino acids, something clicks with the thyroid.
- 9:18And so I've seen this just play out again and again, and it worked
- 9:20for my mom specifically for her weight struggles. There's a product called thyroid TLC,
- 9:26Stephanie. It's called thyroid TLC. It has thirty milligrams of your top
- 9:31three forms of iodine, which each has their benefits, so all three are
- 9:35connected. Thirty milligrams and then it has seven hundred and fifty milligrams of tyrosine,
- 9:41and that's the most important mineral and the most important amino acid four your
- 9:46thyroid health. Just those two by themselves. Day one, folks tend to
- 9:50notice an energy boost, some mental clarity and focus, and then in some
- 9:52weeks they notice metabolism benefits and hair and skin benefits. So that is thyroid
- 9:58t I'll see. Those nutrients are huge. A selenium, though, is
- 10:03big as a as amino acid, and that's the number one product I'd recommend
- 10:07if fatigue, I might encourage you to pop into one of our stores or
- 10:11call if you battle thyroid struggles, because there's a number of symptoms you can
- 10:18face that would steer a second recommendation. So for example, Stephanie, if
- 10:22you're battling mega fatigue issues, you know your glandular system plays a huge role
- 10:28altogether on energy productions, so thyroid's key. So that first product is huge
- 10:31thyroid TLC. If energy was one of your main struggles, the second product
- 10:35I'd recommend would be adrenal boost A. Ninety plus percent of fatigue is directly
- 10:41related to your adrenal glands, so adaptogenic herbs are great to help your body
- 10:45adapt to stress, strengthen the adrenals, which leads to more energy. So
- 10:48it just kind of showcases the power of bringing up a question, whether it's
- 10:54on our live chat feature in store, on the phone, ask the question
- 10:58because it gets the conversations started and helps benefiting your life. Great question this
- 11:03morning over. You can always email Tim at finds your Healthy Place dot com.
- 11:05That's Tim at finds your Healthy Place dot com. Speaking of finds your
- 11:09Healthy Place dot com. That is the website. Wellness consultants there to answer
- 11:13your questions. Also, of course do it right in personal. I'd love
- 11:16to see you whether it's the West Side location of the Healthy Place. Fitchburger's
- 11:18son, Prairie and Tim. Last week we talked about you were on your
- 11:22way to your your annual vision meeting for the Healthy Place. How did it
- 11:28go? How did how did the conversation go? Would you guys? How
- 11:31I've got it? I mean it is I'm a little bit partial because I
- 11:37get it so excited, Sean. I mean, once a year I get
- 11:39the whole gang together under one roof. You know, we have remote workers
- 11:43that can come in and it is it is so fun, dude, because
- 11:46it's just a time to get together, you know, eat some good food,
- 11:50sort of laugh together, and then dig into the meat and the potatoes
- 11:52of what we do here. Of why Becky and I started. You know
- 11:56what's the problem. There's people suffering, and there's people not living quality of
- 12:01life, and there's a mission that we have to execute every single day,
- 12:05which is impact and power and educate every customer to learn, grow and create
- 12:09a lifelong foundation of health and wellness. So sharing the why, sharing the
- 12:13vision, sharing the mission, sharing our history, and just chatting through what
- 12:18we've been together over the last thirteen fourteen years and where we're going over the
- 12:24next ten years. So it just I was left totally totally pumped, and
- 12:30I'd like to believe our team was lit to and the responses I have,
- 12:33it's it's a powerful thing sewn because you come together with one vision, you
- 12:37know, this one thing so to speak, like this is what we're putting
- 12:41our efforts to. Our muscle too. Every day it reminds you, you
- 12:43know, and then getting to talk about like, hey, the road ahead
- 12:46is littered with you know, three steps forward, two steps back. You're
- 12:50going to be discouraged at times, You're gonna get frustrated at times in life.
- 12:54Life is intense and it's gonna throw a lot at you. So you
- 12:58need to be rooted and rounded and you have to be ready for that.
- 13:01And then you have to be ready to push back and press back and not
- 13:05give up and get up again, and just discussing and chatting through as the
- 13:09healthy place, how can we be better? How can we serve our community
- 13:13in a stronger, more consistent, more strategic way that brings them to greater
- 13:18levels of health and wellness and life ultimately. I mean that's why we started
- 13:22this company, is to bring life, literally, to breathe life into that
- 13:26which is dead. I mean you think of like cancer, inflammation, dementia,
- 13:31heart disease, diabetes, fatigue, no sleep, Like that's all like
- 13:37death. It's all like negatory, you know. And so we get to
- 13:39literally as a team breathe life into that which is death. And it's a
- 13:43beautiful thing to watch our work and our actions impact our community. And I
- 13:50think I shared we've impacted one hundred thousand customers unique customers Century started. It
- 13:56was such a celebration and then it's like, how can we impact them million?
- 14:00You know? Dane County, Wisconsin. There's a lot of people here,
- 14:03and there is consistent suffering, and there's consistent quality life struggles, and
- 14:07people need to have more information to take care of their health. So that's
- 14:11what our mission is all about. One of the things you said a few
- 14:13months ago when I wrote it down, because I think it's such a such
- 14:16an accurate and appropriate way to think about things, is you said, become
- 14:20the CEO of your own health, and it is it is interesting to put
- 14:24it in that perspective is take control, manage yourself. Manage your health not
- 14:30only for the betterment of yourself, but for the people around you. And
- 14:33I think what's important too, Tim, as we talk each and every week
- 14:35on this program, and of course as folks have had a chance to stop
- 14:39on in and visit with the wellness consultants at the Healthy Place or visit online,
- 14:43is the importance of sharing that information is not everybody knows and you mentioned
- 14:48one hundred thousand unique people you've helped out at the Healthy Place and wanting to
- 14:52wanting to go to even more. It's so important to share that word shared
- 14:56the great experiences folks have add at the Healthy Place and really vital vital stuff
- 15:03there and tim real quick, we've got about a minute left. And that's
- 15:05also another thing too that I think I mentioned some of the things I jot
- 15:07down that you mentioned that kind of stick with me. The other thing is
- 15:11the big mission for the Healthy Place is really about actually seeing statistically quality of
- 15:18life longevity. You actually are on a mission to see here in southern Wisconsin.
- 15:24You want to see those numbers go up, and you want to be
- 15:26part of that, don't you. Yeah, dude, I don't want to
- 15:28pour my life into something and then have no data to support that I've actually
- 15:33created a lasting impact. So you know, two a couple quick things,
- 15:37you know, being the CEO of your own health, Like I used to
- 15:39want to convince people to go the natural way, and I've changed since then.
- 15:43Now I want to give the information so people can make the decision for
- 15:48themselves, because the more I watch people go through the cycle, the more
- 15:52I see that they only have part of the information to make their decisions in
- 15:56connection to their health. So that's the passion there. And then thank you,
- 16:00yeah the metrics, like ten years from now, I want to see
- 16:03human life expectant see like to expand, Like why can't we increase life span
- 16:10by ten percent in Madison as a team, you know, it's not just
- 16:12us joining a movement. Why can't we reduce the amount of pharmaceutical drugs taken
- 16:17in Dane County as a team, you know, join the movement. You
- 16:19know, educate our our population, inspire them, encourage them, give to
- 16:23them, find ways to make it easier to be healthy, because you know,
- 16:26there's there's the dollar menu that's really easy, and so I want to
- 16:30lower the butt, like make it easier for people to be healthy too.
- 16:33So thanks for reminding me of that. I love that. It's really inspiring
- 16:36and of course hearing and seeing and experiencing personally the great things that go on
- 16:40at the Healthy Place. Again, make sure you're sharing this information, this
- 16:42knowledge, and your experiences with the Healthy Place with your friends and family again,
- 16:47get on in, encourage them to get in West side of Madison,
- 16:49Fitchburg and sun Prairie and learn more online find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 16:53That's finds your Healthy Place dot com. Also Facebook and social media a lot
- 16:57of great information there as well. To him, time always just flies by
- 17:02when we're talking, my friend, you enjoy this beautiful day. Thank you
- 17:04so much. If you're listening, you know, ask the question, get
- 17:07the conversation started, and thank you Sean for taking care of us today.
