- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, so apparently our producers just or you guys
- 0:11Speaker 2: just love it when I talk about Jonas brothers. I'm
- 0:14Speaker 2: just so casual with the name. Jonas was like a
- 0:17Speaker 2: Jonas Jonas everybody knows. Okay, Well, last night, Jared and
- 0:21Speaker 2: I got to do something fun, so I've been requested
- 0:24Speaker 2: to talk about it. We went to the premiere of
- 0:27Speaker 2: their new movie, A very Jonas Christmas Movie, and it
- 0:32Speaker 2: far exceeded expectations. Jared, wasn't it just the most pleasant
- 0:37Speaker 2: night of all time? I had so much fun last night.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Everything about last night was actually perfect. So we walk
- 0:46Speaker 2: into the theater and the first person, the first two
- 0:49Speaker 2: people we see in the theater are people we know.
- 0:52Speaker 2: So it's already like starting off to like a fun vibe,
- 0:54Speaker 2: being like, oh my gosh, you're here. It was funny
- 0:56Speaker 2: because so many people we didn't know who the heck
- 0:59Speaker 2: was going to be there, up for Susie, but everybody
- 1:02Speaker 2: who we ran into that we knew. They were like,
- 1:04Speaker 2: oh my gosh, of course you're here. We all we
- 1:07Speaker 2: were all expecting you to be here. So I'm just
- 1:09Speaker 2: glad that I'm like expected at Jonas events and I'm
- 1:11Speaker 2: just like so honored Jared that like I get like
- 1:16Speaker 2: to be invited to those things and like to be
- 1:19Speaker 2: able to just be part of that community, and that
- 1:23Speaker 2: fandom is just it never gets old and it's so
- 1:25Speaker 2: much fun every single time. And last night was one
- 1:28Speaker 2: of my favorite Jonas memories truly because I start to finish,
- 1:33Speaker 2: it was just a blast, great energy, grade vibes, great
- 1:37Speaker 2: movie guys. It comes out on November fourteenth on Disney
- 1:42Speaker 2: Plus and Hulu. We are not like you'd think that
- 1:46Speaker 2: they'd be paying us to be for me to be
- 1:48Speaker 2: talking about this movie so much, but I just loved it.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it was the movie for me.
- 1:54Speaker 4: It was the movie for me. Was surprisingly, very funny.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Ifully find that he said surprising because.
- 2:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna be as honest and objective as possible. So
- 2:07Speaker 4: because you're not objective. No, but that's quite all right
- 2:09Speaker 4: because this movie was clearly made for Jonas Brothers fans.
- 2:15Speaker 4: I mean, it was unapologetically for Jonas fans. But that's
- 2:20Speaker 4: I'm glad they did that because it would have been
- 2:22Speaker 4: far worse if they try to do a Hallmark Christmas
- 2:26Speaker 4: movie starring the Jonas brothers as themselves, but not really
- 2:29Speaker 4: dive into their relationship or be what's the word I'm
- 2:35Speaker 4: looking for, uh, a bigger version of themselves. Like they
- 2:39Speaker 4: lean into the characteristics that people know them as, Like
- 2:43Speaker 4: Joe is the playboy, Kevin's the boring one, and Nick
- 2:46Speaker 4: is like the anal one.
- 2:47Speaker 3: But he's not supposed to be the boring one.
- 2:49Speaker 2: He's supposed to be like the one that people like,
- 2:52Speaker 2: the normal one that everybody nicks.
- 2:54Speaker 4: The relatable one, relatable one, but they put in the movie,
- 2:57Speaker 4: they put they they lean into the idea that he
- 3:01Speaker 4: is quote unquote the boring one because they try to.
- 3:04Speaker 4: But what my point is singing the spotlight's not on,
- 3:07Speaker 4: they literally say in the movie. And this is not
- 3:09Speaker 4: a spoiler that the brothers say, Oh he's a you're
- 3:11Speaker 4: a cardboard cutout.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah, because like he doesn't because he doesn't sing right, No,
- 3:17Speaker 2: because and the whole thing is that like he wants
- 3:19Speaker 2: to sing.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 4: So my point being, I love celebrities who are not
- 3:24Speaker 4: afraid to lean into what people think about them and
- 3:27Speaker 4: make fun of him. And they did that. You know,
- 3:29Speaker 4: they didn't shy it. They were just very self aware
- 3:34Speaker 4: and there was a lot of funny moments in there.
- 3:36Speaker 4: As someone for myself who is aware of the Jonahs'
- 3:39Speaker 4: brothers of course, and I know them pretty well, and
- 3:43Speaker 4: you know, with their personalities quoth they're super talented and
- 3:45Speaker 4: they make really good music, but in terms of who
- 3:47Speaker 4: they are as people and their relationship with as being brothers,
- 3:50Speaker 4: like I know a little bit about it, and so
- 3:52Speaker 4: seeing them kind of interact in a way that heightens that.
- 3:56Speaker 4: And they didn't shy away from it, and they made
- 3:58Speaker 4: fun of themselves and they made fun of their relationship
- 4:00Speaker 4: and it was it was really great to see because
- 4:03Speaker 4: I think anybody who sees celebrities make fun of themselves,
- 4:07Speaker 4: it just makes them more endearing. And after watching the movie,
- 4:10Speaker 4: I find the Jonas brothers even more endearing than I
- 4:13Speaker 4: did before.
- 4:14Speaker 2: There was this one moment that he turns to me
- 4:17Speaker 2: and goes, should we have a third boy?
- 4:19Speaker 3: Oh?
- 4:19Speaker 4: Because they there's this I mean, they're again not a spoiler,
- 4:23Speaker 4: but of course there's flashback scenes of them young, you know,
- 4:27Speaker 4: with their parents at Christmas, and you know, it's it's
- 4:31Speaker 4: it's great to see because it's cool seeing where they
- 4:33Speaker 4: are now, but seeing where they came from and their upbringing.
- 4:37Speaker 4: So but the movie itself very funny, surprise again, surprising them,
- 4:41Speaker 4: saying that because I did not think I was going
- 4:44Speaker 4: to be laughing, and I laughed pretty consistently throughout the
- 4:47Speaker 4: entire movie. Now, listen, it's a Disney plus movie, So like,
- 4:50Speaker 4: don't this is not Schindler's List, you know what I mean?
- 4:53Speaker 4: This is not this is not Shakespeare, but it's not
- 4:55Speaker 4: meant to be, which is another thing that I really
- 4:57Speaker 4: appreciate appreciate about the movie. It's an hour in twenty minutes.
- 5:01Speaker 4: It flies by.
- 5:02Speaker 2: He loves an hour and twenty minute movie. It's so
- 5:03Speaker 2: refreshing because they're all so long these days.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, if this movie is two and a
- 5:07Speaker 4: half hours a bit, what is going on? But they
- 5:10Speaker 4: the movie knows exactly what it is, and I appreciate that,
- 5:13Speaker 4: and I love the movie because of it.
- 5:15Speaker 2: You know how, a lot of movies, especially comedies, I
- 5:17Speaker 2: feel I think that a perfect example is Elf. It's
- 5:21Speaker 2: a Christmas movie as well. It's like strong, strong, strong,
- 5:24Speaker 2: strong strong. The humor is just like on point, like
- 5:27Speaker 2: for like forty five to an hour, and then the
- 5:30Speaker 2: last half an hour it's just like, oh, I get
- 5:34Speaker 2: serious you know, I was waiting for the moment where
- 5:39Speaker 2: we got serious here and we never did, and so
- 5:42Speaker 2: it just was straight through fun. You never have that offbeat,
- 5:47Speaker 2: and I guess at the end it gets a little
- 5:49Speaker 2: bit more emotional.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Of course there's a resolution, there's you know, character arcs,
- 5:55Speaker 4: but the movie never overstays.
- 5:58Speaker 3: It's welcome he will, but yeah, it's just like it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It.
- 6:03Speaker 4: I never felt like, all right, let's wrap this thing up.
- 6:05Speaker 4: It was just always like it was a pleasant ride.
- 6:07Speaker 4: I enjoyed it as someone who's obviously AH a surface
- 6:12Speaker 4: level Jonas Brothers fan, and so I think that's a
- 6:15Speaker 4: compliment to the movie because it's not. It's not made
- 6:17Speaker 4: for me, it's made for Ashley. But I enjoyed it too, exactly.
- 6:20Speaker 2: And we had a friend there who's like a movie
- 6:23Speaker 2: He does movie reviews and he does movie interviews. He
- 6:26Speaker 2: does it with really big celebrities, and I was like,
- 6:29Speaker 2: what are you even doing here? And he was like,
- 6:32Speaker 2: I mean I was invited and it was fun. He's like,
- 6:35Speaker 2: this is not what I typically would talk about, but
- 6:37Speaker 2: I had a good time in there. I also loved Yeah,
- 6:41Speaker 2: so to go back to something that I do want
- 6:43Speaker 2: to talk about, with Jared, you said it was for me,
- 6:46Speaker 2: but would you, and you would say that even if
- 6:49Speaker 2: you're not a Jonas fan, should you watch it? I mean,
- 6:51Speaker 2: did you find that there was too many inside jokes,
- 6:54Speaker 2: too much that you needed to know?
- 6:55Speaker 4: I mean you have to be a Jonas Brothers fan
- 6:58Speaker 4: to watch the show, or at least like you know
- 7:00Speaker 4: decently know them like I do, or even if you
- 7:03Speaker 4: don't know them as well as I do. I think
- 7:04Speaker 4: you'll still find a lot of enjoyment in this movie.
- 7:06Speaker 4: But if you've never heard of the Jonas Brothers, you're
- 7:09Speaker 4: not gonna like this.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Also not listening to this podcast.
- 7:13Speaker 1: No.
- 7:13Speaker 4: My point being is that the movie is called a
- 7:16Speaker 4: very Jonas Christmas and what I appreciate it is the
- 7:20Speaker 4: title is not misleading at all, like this is very
- 7:22Speaker 4: much a Jonas Brothers Christmas movie, but to the film's credit,
- 7:28Speaker 4: like that's exactly what it is. There's no misleading here,
- 7:31Speaker 4: there is no false marketing like this is a Jonas
- 7:35Speaker 4: Brothers Christmas movie.
- 7:37Speaker 2: A few more things. Jared is the expert reviewer, but
- 7:40Speaker 2: I just really want to emphasize it is so self deprecating.
- 7:43Speaker 2: It is tongue in cheek, It is very self aware
- 7:47Speaker 2: they see. One of my favorite things about it was
- 7:50Speaker 2: that it maybe it seemed like we the fans have
- 7:53Speaker 2: inside jokes with them because all of their stereotypes they
- 7:57Speaker 2: bring to the surface and they lean in on them,
- 8:01Speaker 2: Like there's this one joke that really stuck with me
- 8:04Speaker 2: because I think about it all the time. And my
- 8:07Speaker 2: friends and I my like my Jonas friends and I
- 8:10Speaker 2: have a group chat and like we one time talked
- 8:12Speaker 2: about this. Joe did an ad for botox, not actual botox,
- 8:17Speaker 2: like one of the other brands of a bachelin and
- 8:19Speaker 2: toxin And this was like a year ago, and we
- 8:23Speaker 2: were talking about how he didn't add for botox, and
- 8:25Speaker 2: they make fun of him for doing that. In the movie,
- 8:28Speaker 2: They're like, you say yes to every ad, And I'm like,
- 8:32Speaker 2: this is the kind of humor that is straight up
- 8:34Speaker 2: my alley. It's very millennial based humor. It's also like
- 8:38Speaker 2: there's a lot of parent humor in it. Basically, like
- 8:41Speaker 2: anyone who's in their age group, you know, mid thirties,
- 8:45Speaker 2: you are going to I think anybody in their mid
- 8:47Speaker 2: thirties could enjoy this as well, even if you're not
- 8:50Speaker 2: a Jonahs fan.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Yeah, again, you have to be aware of the Jonahs brothers,
- 8:53Speaker 3: you know.
- 8:54Speaker 4: But yeah, I think that what's great about it as
- 8:57Speaker 4: well as they lean into the stereotypes of people think
- 9:00Speaker 4: about them, they make fun of themselves.
- 9:02Speaker 3: They make fun of the stereotypes.
- 9:04Speaker 4: And I again, I I just I give the Jonas
- 9:07Speaker 4: brothers credit for doing that, because it's very easy, especially
- 9:10Speaker 4: for a list celebrities like themselves, to not want to,
- 9:14Speaker 4: you know, showcase more of the stereotypes of what people
- 9:18Speaker 4: think about them exactly.
- 9:19Speaker 2: They leaned into.
- 9:20Speaker 4: They leaned into it so funny. That's what made it
- 9:23Speaker 4: so good. They just they they had fun. They had
- 9:26Speaker 4: a lot of fun. And what was cool as well
- 9:28Speaker 4: seeing their dynamic together because clearly they have great chemistry.
- 9:34Speaker 3: They're brothers in real life.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Their acting was like pretty good because I think it
- 9:38Speaker 2: wasn't all it was really like not active.
- 9:40Speaker 4: That's what I mean. They have they have great chemistry.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Like my favorite parts of the movie are the three
- 9:45Speaker 4: of them together. Yeah, you know, they all have separate
- 9:48Speaker 4: storylines and again those all kind of fit into the
- 9:52Speaker 4: overall story. But my favorite moments of the movie, and
- 9:55Speaker 4: I think the most enjoyment and the funniest parts of
- 9:58Speaker 4: the movie are the three of them to get just
- 10:00Speaker 4: kind of making fun of each other, and it's fun
- 10:04Speaker 4: to see.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Two more points that I want to make about the
- 10:18Speaker 2: movie itself. I'm so sorry we're boring you guys to tears.
- 10:21Speaker 2: But I went into it thinking it was gonna be
- 10:24Speaker 2: very like cheesy original like Disney Channel movie like Camp Rock.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Like I thought it was just gonna be like camp
- 10:31Speaker 2: Rock again. And of course camp Rock was really fun
- 10:34Speaker 2: when I was a teenager, but I don't at thirty
- 10:38Speaker 2: seven want to see Camp Rock. I mean, like, I
- 10:39Speaker 2: will watch it with Dawson and it'll be fun and nostalgic,
- 10:42Speaker 2: but like, I want this. I was so surprised that
- 10:45Speaker 2: this was just a fun movie from my age and
- 10:50Speaker 2: they're just so smart about that. And then my second
- 10:52Speaker 2: point was that they they're producers on it, and I
- 10:56Speaker 2: feel like you can really tell. It's almost as if
- 10:59Speaker 2: they like took the writers and they were like, hey, guys,
- 11:02Speaker 2: why don't you like follow us around to shadow us
- 11:04Speaker 2: for a month, to like see what our general chemistry
- 11:07Speaker 2: is as brothers, and like right around what you see.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Yeah, the movie is better than it should be. And
- 11:13Speaker 4: again that's a credit to everybody involved. You know, because
- 11:16Speaker 4: when you see a very Jonas Christmas, you're like, this
- 11:18Speaker 4: is gonna be dumb, and it wasn't. It was not
- 11:21Speaker 4: dumb at all. I didn't think it was dumb, of course,
- 11:23Speaker 4: you know, it's you know there.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I was like, is this gonna be a movie that
- 11:27Speaker 2: I watched once? I'm like, okay, I'm done. No, I'm like,
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm excited to watch it all holiday seasons.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Again, if you're a Jonas Brothers fan, you will absolutely
- 11:35Speaker 4: adore this movie. There is new Christmas music in it
- 11:37Speaker 4: by the Jonas Brothers.
- 11:39Speaker 2: They're better in the movie even than you if when
- 11:41Speaker 2: you hear the tracks. They're good songs, catchy.
- 11:44Speaker 4: They're catchy songs, they're Christmas songs. And also again, they
- 11:49Speaker 4: do a great job of leaning into the absurdity of
- 11:52Speaker 4: them just starting to sing original Christmas music in this movie,
- 11:56Speaker 4: Like they break the fourth wall a couple of times
- 11:59Speaker 4: and let the audience in on the joke while they're singing,
- 12:02Speaker 4: and it's great. They just never take themselves too seriously,
- 12:06Speaker 4: and I think, again, credit to them, because not everybody
- 12:10Speaker 4: does that.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Thanks baby. Like I didn't like their roast they did
- 12:13Speaker 2: the roast on Netflix, remember years ago, it's like COVID.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I didn't see it. You and I.
- 12:18Speaker 2: You did see it. You were like watching in the background,
- 12:20Speaker 2: and we were like, oh my gosh, I think I
- 12:21Speaker 2: don't even finish it. I we just Jared and I
- 12:23Speaker 2: just don't like roast in general. I didn't lot like
- 12:26Speaker 2: Bears I did. We did not even watch Tom Brady's I.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Saw clips of it. But yeah, it just goes like
- 12:33Speaker 4: it's just some some are funny, some or not. Again,
- 12:37Speaker 4: I think a roast overstays. It's welcome a lot of times.
- 12:40Speaker 4: If a roast was like forty five minutes and they
- 12:43Speaker 4: had like not even maybe but like, you know, people
- 12:47Speaker 4: very important to that person's life making fun of them,
- 12:49Speaker 4: that's very funny stuff.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I'm in.
- 12:51Speaker 4: But it's just like, how long do these roasts have
- 12:53Speaker 4: to be? And with this movie, you know, it's like
- 12:54Speaker 4: an hour twenty minutes of a decent story and a
- 12:58Speaker 4: lot of funny parts in good chemistry between the brothers
- 13:00Speaker 4: that you're invested in, and then it's over and you're like,
- 13:02Speaker 4: you know what, that was fun?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Well, we have a couple of questions
- 13:07Speaker 2: from our producer and we will wrap this up. I'm
- 13:10Speaker 2: so sorry. I didn't realize I was going to drag
- 13:12Speaker 2: out this Jonas episode so long, but huh, it is
- 13:15Speaker 2: a Jonas episode. So she's saying, did we get to
- 13:19Speaker 2: talk to them at the after party? We talked to
- 13:22Speaker 2: Kevin and Danielle and they were just so sweet as always. Yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 2: they're so wonderful. Yeah, it was really And then my second,
- 13:29Speaker 2: the second question here is how would you rank this
- 13:31Speaker 2: in your top Christmas movies? It's something I did tell
- 13:34Speaker 2: Govin I go on the carpet we were asked. It
- 13:37Speaker 2: was kind of a weird question to be asked because
- 13:40Speaker 2: I don't think the reporter realized that I hadn't seen
- 13:44Speaker 2: the movie yet. No, it was like, what would you
- 13:46Speaker 2: pick this or like your favorite Christmas movie?
- 13:50Speaker 4: They said every other Christmas movie, So you'd have to
- 13:53Speaker 4: either take away every other Christmas movie and keep a
- 13:57Speaker 4: very Jonas Christmas or get rid of a very Jonus
- 13:59Speaker 4: Christmas and then you get to keep every other Christmas movie.
- 14:01Speaker 2: And I was like, well, I'm going if my favorite
- 14:04Speaker 2: Christmas movie is is Home Alone? And I haven't seen this,
- 14:08Speaker 2: so like I'm obviously going to keep Home Alone. And
- 14:11Speaker 2: of course I'm still going to keep Home alone in
- 14:15Speaker 2: the Holiday.
- 14:17Speaker 3: They're better movies.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Oh, they're just like absolutely timeless classics. But I will
- 14:21Speaker 2: tell you of the past twenty years because The Holiday
- 14:25Speaker 2: came out almost twenty years ago, nineteen years ago. This
- 14:31Speaker 2: is my favorite and a very since then. I just
- 14:35Speaker 2: loved it so much.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot to love in the movie.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Thank you, I say thank you. I am proud. I
- 14:40Speaker 2: am proud of my Jonas boys.
- 14:42Speaker 4: And yeah, I think I think a lot of people
- 14:45Speaker 4: are going to enjoy this movie.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I'm not saying it's going to get critically acclaimed.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I think people will say their surprised though in reviews.
- 14:52Speaker 3: But I yeah, I would say that.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I'm sure a lot of people reviewing this movie, you know,
- 14:57Speaker 4: movie critics, I think a majority of them will say,
- 14:59Speaker 4: you know what it was, you know, it was fun.
- 15:02Speaker 4: I think a lot of them are obviously gonna it's yeah.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I mean, what are they Are they really going to
- 15:07Speaker 2: take this seriously reviewing a Jonas movie?
- 15:11Speaker 3: They might, I mean, if you take it seriously, yeah,
- 15:14Speaker 3: of course.
- 15:14Speaker 2: And even if even if they're taking it seriously, they
- 15:18Speaker 2: should be like, oh, it's cool.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Much better than anticipated, and it gives some insight into
- 15:23Speaker 4: the brothers relationship too, things that you may not have
- 15:25Speaker 4: known prior, Like we know because Ashley makes me aware
- 15:28Speaker 4: of it, but like things with Kevin and how you
- 15:31Speaker 4: know his storyline goes throughout the movie, if like things
- 15:34Speaker 4: that he wants to present to his brothers, or like
- 15:37Speaker 4: things with Nick about like how Joe and Kevin's relationship
- 15:42Speaker 4: is different than you know Nick and Joan Kevin's relationship.
- 15:46Speaker 4: So like, there is some things in the movie that
- 15:48Speaker 4: are really cool to see, like things that I was
- 15:50Speaker 4: aware of. Again, that's why I was like, Wow, I'm
- 15:52Speaker 4: I'm happy they leaned into it, because not everybody would
- 15:54Speaker 4: do that. But if you're not aware of these things
- 15:57Speaker 4: and you know, it's pretty interesting to be like I
- 15:59Speaker 4: didn't that the brothers had this type of relationship.
- 16:02Speaker 2: What about the cameos, because there were a lot of them.
- 16:05Speaker 3: There's a cameo. We won't spoil it, but there's a cameo.
- 16:07Speaker 4: I mean a big actor, a big actor in the
- 16:10Speaker 4: very first scene in the movie and we.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Were all taken aback and kind of starts you on
- 16:14Speaker 2: the ride.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Yeah, we saw his name in the opening credit. I didn't,
- 16:18Speaker 4: and then I was like he's I was like, oh,
- 16:20Speaker 4: he makes a cameo in this movie, and then it's
- 16:23Speaker 4: just right off the bat opening scene he's in it,
- 16:26Speaker 4: and you're like, oh, okay, and then you know he's
- 16:28Speaker 4: he's great in it. It's a super funny cameo. And
- 16:31Speaker 4: then there's a cameo later in the movie by a
- 16:33Speaker 4: not as well known actor.
- 16:35Speaker 3: But some of you guys will know.
- 16:36Speaker 2: The pilot, the pilot, because I think they're keeping that
- 16:38Speaker 2: one secret too, because.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a funny cameo.
- 16:40Speaker 2: He wasn't not the premiere, you'll know.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Who he is and you're like, Oh, I didn't know
- 16:43Speaker 3: he was in this. And then and.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Then the ant, the epic ant from a big fact
- 16:48Speaker 2: Greek wedding. She is an uber driver.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yeah, could spoil it so funny, but she's in the movie.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Not that that's a spoiler binding stretch, but it's nice
- 16:57Speaker 4: being like, oh, I didn't know she was in this movie.
- 16:59Speaker 4: Oh I didn't know him that person was in this movie.
- 17:01Speaker 4: So yeah, there was some really good stuff in this
- 17:04Speaker 4: movie for everybody to enjoy.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Another treat from last night was the fact that we
- 17:08Speaker 2: got to go to the Plaza Hotel when it's all
- 17:10Speaker 2: dressed up like humb alone two.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Because that's where he stays in Homeolong too Full. Yes,
- 17:17Speaker 3: it was a hotel.
- 17:18Speaker 2: It was so pretty and Disney just went all out.
- 17:23Speaker 2: It was a grand ballroom. I mean like this was
- 17:26Speaker 2: such a pretty beautiful. The food was amazing. It wasn't
- 17:29Speaker 2: the best wedding I've ever been to.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Yeah, the where they had it in the Plaza hotel,
- 17:33Speaker 4: this big ballroom. It was gorgeous, stunning, and the food
- 17:38Speaker 4: was really good and the drinks were great. Each one
- 17:41Speaker 4: was great themed. It was like a I think each
- 17:45Speaker 4: Jonah's brother had his own drink.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Probably I saw them drinking mostly the espresso martinis at
- 17:49Speaker 2: the pictures of.
- 17:50Speaker 4: The Yeah, and there were three drinks, so I think
- 17:53Speaker 4: one for Kevin, one for Nake, and warm for Joe.
- 17:54Speaker 3: So it was cool.
- 17:55Speaker 4: You know, everything was themed and it was Christmas and
- 17:58Speaker 4: the movie was fun and funny and everybody was in
- 18:00Speaker 4: a good mood and you know.
- 18:02Speaker 2: The guest list. I mean like it was just so fun.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Everybody was just great energy.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Well, I think again there is a.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Community, which you always say.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I always say if everybody was a Jonas Brothers fan,
- 18:12Speaker 4: there would be peace on earth because you know, if
- 18:14Speaker 4: you go to a Jonas Brother's concert, or you go
- 18:16Speaker 4: to an event like this, there is just so much
- 18:19Speaker 4: happiness and enthusiasm, which I love. Of course, I love
- 18:22Speaker 4: being a part of it.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Oh, thanks, babe, and I just love having you there
- 18:26Speaker 2: for it. It's so nice that I can do this
- 18:28Speaker 2: still married with kids.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Of course, I would never take your dreams away from you.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Thank you. And finally, Jared is die Hard at Christmas movie.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I'm in the minority on this one.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I know.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I don't think it's I mean, no.
- 18:40Speaker 2: That's like I think Catch Me If you Can is
- 18:42Speaker 2: like the exact same thing, because Catch Me if you
- 18:44Speaker 2: Can has an ongoing theme of Christmas. But like you
- 18:47Speaker 2: wouldn't consider it a Christmas movie.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I define a Christmas movie by I only want to
- 18:51Speaker 4: watch it during the holiday season.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 4: I could watch die Hard in July. Yeah, and enjoy
- 18:57Speaker 4: it just as much as I would in December.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Yes, because I think I would prefer Catch Me if
- 19:03Speaker 2: you Can in the winter.
- 19:04Speaker 4: But sure, but you would never Would you watch Home
- 19:08Speaker 4: Alone in May?
- 19:09Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't allow myself to do that.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Would you watch Catch Me if you Can in May?
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah? I could do that.
- 19:14Speaker 3: That's the difference for me for my definition of a
- 19:17Speaker 3: Christmas movie.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I also think that Gremlins is a Christmas movie too,
- 19:20Speaker 2: hence why I had Dawson watch it today.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I haven't seen.
- 19:25Speaker 2: It really watch it any other time. It is very
- 19:28Speaker 2: Christmas based. The entire setting definitely very Christmas. Is it Halloween?
- 19:32Speaker 2: It's kind of like the nightm before Christmas. It can
- 19:34Speaker 2: go from Halloween to Christmas.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, and there's it.
- 19:39Speaker 2: That's it.
- 19:40Speaker 3: That's it.
