Speaker 1: They did something yesterday that was amazing. Actually, they gave
• 0:04
Speaker 1: us a present and the president arrived today. It was
• 0:07
Speaker 1: a very big present, worth a tremendous amount of money
• 0:11
Speaker 1: and I'm not going to tell you what that president is,
• 0:13
Speaker 1: but it was a very significant prize. So that meant
• 0:16
Speaker 1: one thing to me. Would deal with the right people related. No,
• 0:20
Speaker 1: it wasn't nuclear red it was oil and guests related.
• 0:23
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:27
Speaker 3: Good Wednesday morning. Nice to have you with us on
• 0:29
Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update. We've got two big stories
• 0:33
Speaker 3: for you. First up in Chicago, outrage growing after an
• 0:37
Speaker 3: innocent college student was brutally killed by an ilegal immigrant
• 0:41
Speaker 3: released by the Biden administration. It's the forty seven Morning
• 0:46
Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
• 0:48
Speaker 2: Story number one, Joe.
• 0:50
Speaker 3: Biden released illegal alien, shot and killed Sheridan Gorman as
• 0:56
Speaker 3: she ran for her life. Is now what the prosecutors
• 0:59
Speaker 3: have said. That illegal alien was released into the United
• 1:02
Speaker 3: States of America on purpose by former President Joe Biden's administration.
• 1:07
Speaker 3: That same individual shot and killed this eighteen year old
• 1:11
Speaker 3: of freshmen at Loyola University of Chicago as she ran
• 1:17
Speaker 3: for her life. We now know trying to flee for
• 1:19
Speaker 3: safety is what the prosecutors are now alleging in documents. Now,
• 1:25
Speaker 3: this twenty five year old illegal alien from Venezuela was
• 1:29
Speaker 3: arrested by the Chicago Police Department and he's been charged
• 1:32
Speaker 3: with murdering Sheridan Gorman, who also went by sheriff in
• 1:37
Speaker 3: a random attack on a pier at Chicago by the Beach.
• 1:42
Speaker 3: Prosecutors are now providing new details as to what they
• 1:45
Speaker 3: say occurred on the night of March nineteenth, and here
• 1:49
Speaker 3: is part of their report. They say at one thirty am,
• 1:54
Speaker 3: Gorman eighteen, was with a group of friends on the pier,
• 1:58
Speaker 3: a few blocks north of the US University's campus. Gorman
• 2:02
Speaker 3: alerted her friends that someone was hiding near the pier,
• 2:05
Speaker 3: at which point the group of friends was chased by
• 2:08
Speaker 3: the person who has been identified as Jose Medina Medina
• 2:15
Speaker 3: of Venezuela. Medina opened fire and shot Gorman in her
• 2:20
Speaker 3: back as she tried to run away. She was pronounced
• 2:23
Speaker 3: dead at the scene. Gorman's friends were able to duck
• 2:27
Speaker 3: for cover in the grassy area near the pier as
• 2:30
Speaker 3: Medina ran back to an apartment on North Sheridan Road,
• 2:34
Speaker 3: where he had left earlier. Gorman's friends observed Medina dressed
• 2:39
Speaker 3: mostly in black, including a black face mask. Sheridan's friends
• 2:44
Speaker 3: and family have also now created a go Fundme page
• 2:47
Speaker 3: to help cover the young woman's memorial service and a
• 2:50
Speaker 3: scholarship in her honor. Shara loved deeply and live fully.
• 2:56
Speaker 3: The go fundme page reads, she loved Jesus, her face, family,
• 3:00
Speaker 3: her sister Mattie, most of all, her lifelong friends, and
• 3:04
Speaker 3: the simple, beautiful moments that made up her life. She
• 3:08
Speaker 3: had a way of making everyone feel special, seen and
• 3:11
Speaker 3: loved to know. Her was to be changed by her.
• 3:15
Speaker 3: On Sunday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement you know, ICE agents,
• 3:19
Speaker 3: the same people democrats want to abolish, revealed that Medina
• 3:25
Speaker 3: is an illegal alien from Venezuela who was apprehended at
• 3:29
Speaker 3: the southern border on May the ninth, twenty twenty three.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: Thanks to former President Joe Biden's expansive catch and release policy,
• 3:38
Speaker 3: Medina was released from border patrol custody into the US interior.
• 3:43
Speaker 3: One month later, on June nineteenth, Medina was arrested in
• 3:48
Speaker 3: Chicago for shoplifting. Thanks to Chicago and Illinois strict sanctuary policies.
• 3:54
Speaker 3: The illegal alien was released from police custody without being
• 3:59
Speaker 3: turned over to ICE agents for arrest and deportation. Now
• 4:04
Speaker 3: Medina remains in police Costina's reportedly being treated for tuberculosis.
• 4:10
Speaker 3: Is what the latest documents reveal. What's even more shocking
• 4:14
Speaker 3: about this is how far the Democrats are willing to
• 4:17
Speaker 3: go to claim that somehow this illegal immigrant really shouldn't
• 4:22
Speaker 3: be blamed for this murder. I'll give you a perfect example,
• 4:27
Speaker 3: because they care more about one group of people, illegal immigrants,
• 4:32
Speaker 3: more than they do about American citizens. Let me introduce
• 4:36
Speaker 3: you to Chicago Democratic forty ninth Ward alderman Maria Hayden,
• 4:42
Speaker 3: who pretty much blames Gorman for her own murder in
• 4:46
Speaker 3: a local Fox interview that she's done. Listen to what
• 4:50
Speaker 3: she has to say about how maybe it was her
• 4:53
Speaker 3: fault for startling the man that assassinated her.
• 4:56
Speaker 4: From what I've been told so far, right from what
• 4:59
Speaker 4: police knows. From speaking to the students who were with her,
• 5:04
Speaker 4: it seems she might have that as they were just out.
• 5:07
Speaker 4: You know, people go out to the beach all the time,
• 5:09
Speaker 4: right and they go out on the pier, they walk around,
• 5:11
Speaker 4: So the kids were out doing normal, normal things people
• 5:13
Speaker 4: do in the neighborhood, and it sounds like this might
• 5:17
Speaker 4: have been a wrong place, wrong time, running into a
• 5:20
Speaker 4: person who had a gun. They might have startled this
• 5:22
Speaker 4: person at the end of the year unintentionally. But that's
• 5:27
Speaker 4: all we know. So from what I've been told, what
• 5:32
Speaker 4: police investigation has turned up so far, what they've been
• 5:35
Speaker 4: able to share with me and with Loyola University, we
• 5:39
Speaker 4: don't believe there is costs for broader community concern.
• 5:42
Speaker 3: To be clear, you have an alderman, a Democrat, that
• 5:47
Speaker 3: said the kids were out doing normal things people do
• 5:49
Speaker 3: in the neighborhood, and it sounds like they might have
• 5:52
Speaker 3: just been a wrong place, wrong time situation, running into
• 5:55
Speaker 3: a person who had a gun. They might have unintentionally
• 5:59
Speaker 3: startled this person and at the end of the peer
• 6:03
Speaker 3: that is her exact quote. These people are sick to
• 6:08
Speaker 3: blame an innocent freshman, eighteen year old student who was
• 6:12
Speaker 3: spending time with her family and friends and love the
• 6:16
Speaker 3: Lord and claiming that somehow her killing, her assassination was
• 6:22
Speaker 3: somehow her fault. I want you to listen to those
• 6:25
Speaker 3: words again. This should be put everywhere on social media.
• 6:30
Speaker 3: You have a student that was assassinated. And this is
• 6:35
Speaker 3: how the Democrats respond.
• 6:37
Speaker 4: All the time, right, And they go out on the peer.
• 6:39
Speaker 4: They walk around, so the kids are out doing normal,
• 6:42
Speaker 4: normal things people do in the neighborhood. And it sounds
• 6:45
Speaker 4: like this might have been a wrong place, wrong time,
• 6:48
Speaker 4: running into a person who had a gun. They might
• 6:50
Speaker 4: have startled this person at the end of the peer unintentionally.
• 6:55
Speaker 4: But that's all the time, right, and they go out.
• 6:59
Speaker 3: It is amazing to hear Democrats actually say that. By
• 7:02
Speaker 3: the way, if you think, well, that's just some local
• 7:04
Speaker 3: elected official and surely they don't actually mean this. Well.
• 7:09
Speaker 3: House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries, another Democrat, the leader of
• 7:14
Speaker 3: the Democratic Party in the House, he was asked if
• 7:18
Speaker 3: he believed that Venezuela and a legal alien charged with murdering
• 7:22
Speaker 3: Sheridan Gorman in Chicago should be deported A very simple question.
• 7:28
Speaker 3: Any sane person would answer that question with yes, of
• 7:31
Speaker 3: course they should be deported, not a Kim Jeffries, because
• 7:35
Speaker 3: the Democratic Party stands up for illegal immigrants, not Americans,
• 7:39
Speaker 3: even when they're brutally murdered. What did Hakim say? He said,
• 7:44
Speaker 3: just five words. Listen carefully.
• 7:47
Speaker 1: An illegal immigrant has been charged with murdering a college
• 7:49
Speaker 1: student in Chicago last week to house. Democrats believe if
• 7:52
Speaker 1: he's convicted, he's someone who should be deported.
• 7:55
Speaker 4: I'll look into the case.
• 7:56
  Speaker 2: Do you expect.
• 7:56
Speaker 3: Anymore, I'll look into the case. That is all that
• 8:03
Speaker 3: the leader of the Democratic Party had to say. No
• 8:06
Speaker 3: compassion for the family, no compassion for anyone else involved.
• 8:10
Speaker 3: And let's be clear, it isn't just this girl that
• 8:14
Speaker 3: was killed in Chicago. We also have another story that
• 8:18
Speaker 3: is not making national news. And I'll ask for your
• 8:21
Speaker 3: help right now sharing this story and this show wherever
• 8:25
Speaker 3: you can. An illegal alien from Mexico living in Utah
• 8:29
Speaker 3: has just been charged with attempted murder after authorities said
• 8:33
Speaker 3: he's slit a woman's throat. Heesus Ramirez Padillo has now
• 8:39
Speaker 3: been charged with attempted murder, obstruction of justice, aggravate assault,
• 8:44
Speaker 3: and drug paraphernalia after the March eighteenth incident in Salt
• 8:48
Speaker 3: Lake City. According to the Department of Homeland Security, immigration
• 8:52
Speaker 3: authorities are requesting that local officials honor a detainer lodged
• 8:57
Speaker 3: against the suspect. Again, this is where Democrats apparently don't
• 9:02
Speaker 3: like to turn over bad people to the federal government now.
• 9:06
Speaker 3: The victim is reportedly in critical condition right now in
• 9:09
Speaker 3: the hospital. The woman's identity has not been revealed. Hey
• 9:13
Speaker 3: Zeus is a dangerous criminal legal alien who violently strangled
• 9:18
Speaker 3: and slit a woman's throat multiple times, is what the
• 9:22
Speaker 3: DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Biss said in a statement.
• 9:26
Speaker 3: We are calling on politicians and not release this barbaric
• 9:30
Speaker 3: criminal from jail and into American neighborhoods. This criminal legal
• 9:35
Speaker 3: alien has no place in American communities. According to the
• 9:39
Speaker 3: local reports, Padilla and the woman were smoking methamphetamine before
• 9:45
Speaker 3: the alleged crime. Police responded to report of a woman
• 9:48
Speaker 3: crying in an alley and found her bleeding with a
• 9:51
Speaker 3: deep cut in her neck. A homeowner surveillance camera reportedly
• 9:55
Speaker 3: caught the incident on camera, leading to the identification of
• 9:59
Speaker 3: the illegal immigrant. When he was arrested, his hands and
• 10:02
Speaker 3: pants were covered in blood. According to the reports, he
• 10:06
Speaker 3: met the victim the previous night, and they met up
• 10:08
Speaker 3: to take drugs together the night of the alleged murder attempt.
• 10:12
Speaker 3: Padilla also reportedly confessed to police that he strangled the
• 10:16
Speaker 3: victim and slit her throat, but said the drugs altered
• 10:19
Speaker 3: a state of mind. It's unclear whether Padilla, who remained
• 10:23
Speaker 3: in the Salt Lake County jail as of Tuesday, has
• 10:26
Speaker 3: obtained even legal counsel. I'm sure there's some group out
• 10:29
Speaker 3: there that will be more than happy to represent an
• 10:32
Speaker 3: illegal immigrant that did this. The suspected attempted murder comes
• 10:36
Speaker 3: on the heels of several other high profile crimes in
• 10:40
Speaker 3: which illegal aliens are the prime suspect, as I mentioned earlier,
• 10:45
Speaker 3: the one of this student in Chicago, and in late February,
• 10:49
Speaker 3: there was another high profile case of an alleged illegal
• 10:52
Speaker 3: alien crime that made national news when abdul Leone was
• 10:58
Speaker 3: charged with murder in the having death of Stephanie Menter
• 11:02
Speaker 3: in Fairfax County, Virginia. Leone, just so you know how
• 11:07
Speaker 3: bad his record was, had thirty prior arrest I want
• 11:12
Speaker 3: to say that again, thirty prior arrests. So the final
• 11:17
Speaker 3: question that everyone should be asking right now is this,
• 11:20
Speaker 3: why are Democrats so committed to keeping illegal immigrants in
• 11:24
Speaker 3: the country and that they're so willing to blame a
• 11:28
Speaker 3: woman allegedly shot by one of those illegals in Chicago
• 11:32
Speaker 3: to avoid talking about deportations. The good news is. President
• 11:38
Speaker 3: Donald Trump has just sworn in Mark Wayne Mullen as
• 11:42
Speaker 3: the Homeland Security Secretary after it was expedited through the Senate.
• 11:47
Speaker 3: At least now we know that we have someone at
• 11:50
Speaker 3: DHS that is willing to go all in to protect
• 11:54
Speaker 3: Americans from vicious individuals just like this individual.
