Speaker 1: What's up everyone, And welcome back to the Epstein chronicles.
• 0:04
Speaker 1: Remember when the US Virgin Islands was telling us that
• 0:07
Speaker 1: they were going to take all the money that they
• 0:09
Speaker 1: got from the Epstein settlements and use it to help
• 0:12
Speaker 1: people as far as human trafficking victims and women who
• 0:16
Speaker 1: might have been affected. And I told you that they
• 0:18
Speaker 1: were bsen. Well guess what they were bsen? And how
• 0:22
Speaker 1: do I know? Well, there's a new article out from
• 0:24
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands Consortium talking about how they're going to
• 0:28
Speaker 1: spend the windfall that they got from Jeffrey Epstein or
• 0:31
Speaker 1: I guess I should say from Jeffrey Epstein's survivors, because
• 0:35
Speaker 1: that's where they really got the money from. They took
• 0:37
Speaker 1: that money directly from the pockets of the Epstein survivors.
• 0:41
Speaker 1: And the USVII, well they ate twice, right. First, they
• 0:45
Speaker 1: were getting money from Epstein, they were taking all kinds
• 0:48
Speaker 1: of dough from him. And then on the flip side,
• 0:50
Speaker 1: when all said and done, they set themselves up as
• 0:53
Speaker 1: victims as well and leave here with the gigantic bag.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: And I remember when all of this was going on,
• 0:59
Speaker 1: there were people out there that we're talking like the
• 1:01
Speaker 1: USVII was some sort of group of heroes for going
• 1:05
Speaker 1: after Epstein. They were never going after Epstein. And I
• 1:08
Speaker 1: told you that then and i'll tell you that again today.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: They were going after some money. They wanted a bag,
• 1:14
Speaker 1: That's what they were searching for. And boy did they
• 1:16
Speaker 1: get it. And what are they going to do with
• 1:18
Speaker 1: that money? Well, let's find out. This article was published
• 1:22
Speaker 1: by the Virgin Islands Consortium headline one hundred and thirty
• 1:26
Speaker 1: seven and a half million dollar Epstein Settlement to build
• 1:30
Speaker 1: San Cua Behavioral Health Facility, Sant Thomas Sports Complex and
• 1:35
Speaker 1: audit Epstein's EDA benefits. Oh that's nice, huh. Really going
• 1:39
Speaker 1: to the people, let's build a sports complex with the
• 1:41
Speaker 1: money that we took from Epstein's survivors. What a bunch
• 1:45
Speaker 1: of gross ass individuals. And just so we're clear, let's
• 1:48
Speaker 1: remember that the USVII, including a sitting Democratic Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett,
• 1:55
Speaker 1: they're all being sued by Epstein's survivors right now for
• 1:57
Speaker 1: their alleged part in Epstein's criminal entery prize. So let's
• 2:01
Speaker 1: keep that in mind. This article was authored by Janika Simon.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: Over the past week, lawmakers have introduced and passed a
• 2:10
Speaker 1: flurry of bills and that shaping the next fiscal year,
• 2:13
Speaker 1: which begins October first. Apart from the money is appropriated
• 2:17
Speaker 1: from the day to day functioning of various government departments
• 2:21
Speaker 1: and agencies, Members of the thirty fifth Legislature have now
• 2:24
Speaker 1: distributed funds from the Jeffrey Epstein related JP Morgan Settlement
• 2:29
Speaker 1: and the Leon Black Settlement, which together total approximately one
• 2:33
Speaker 1: hundred and thirty seven and a half million dollars. Meanwhile,
• 2:37
Speaker 1: there are Epstein survivors who never seen one single dollar,
• 2:40
Speaker 1: not one single cent, folks. Meanwhile, the USVII is out
• 2:44
Speaker 1: here getting a whole ass bag and building sports centers.
• 2:48
Speaker 1: How is that okay with anybody? And how is that
• 2:50
Speaker 1: not a bigger point of conversation. I know that your
• 2:53
Speaker 1: boy's been a little bit busy with Diddy and all,
• 2:56
Speaker 1: but don't ever think for a minute that they're going
• 2:59
Speaker 1: to slip this shit by me. And if you haven't
• 3:00
Speaker 1: figured it out yet, the whole entire thing discuss me.
• 3:04
Speaker 1: I cannot believe that they're able to benefit on both ends.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: And then when they get this money, they build sporting complexes. Really,
• 3:12
Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna do with the money you secure
• 3:15
Speaker 1: from a gigantic windfall. The allocations will be spent on
• 3:18
Speaker 1: various projects and initiatives to enhance community services, mental health resources,
• 3:24
Speaker 1: and infrastructure and economic development in the Virgin Islands. According
• 3:28
Speaker 1: to Senator Donner Frett Gregory, some of the initiatives will
• 3:32
Speaker 1: be funded from this money include the establishment of the
• 3:35
Speaker 1: Southern Trust Company Settlement Fund and the Survivors and Mental
• 3:38
Speaker 1: Health Healing Trust Fund under Bill thirty five Dash zero
• 3:42
Speaker 1: three eighty. Oh well, isn't that nice? Throw a little
• 3:45
Speaker 1: bone to the people, will you. The measure also appropriates
• 3:49
Speaker 1: twenty one and a half million dollars for the Department
• 3:52
Speaker 1: of Public Works for the completion of the Estate Nazareth
• 3:55
Speaker 1: Sports Complex. Twenty one million dollars for a sports complex. Really,
• 4:00
Speaker 1: that's what you went so hardened to paint for, huh.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: Remember it was never about justice in the USVII. It
• 4:05
Speaker 1: was about getting a bag. Just over two million dollars
• 4:08
Speaker 1: for school maintenance, ten million to the Virgin Islands Port
• 4:11
Speaker 1: Authority to build the Saint John Cultural Center, four point
• 4:15
Speaker 1: two million to the Sea Viewing Nursing Home, and one
• 4:17
Speaker 1: point eight million to the Department of Property and Procurement
• 4:20
Speaker 1: for a long term lease with the Nana Baby Children's
• 4:23
Speaker 1: Home on Saint Thomas. The facility will also receive two
• 4:27
Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars to outfit the home. They should just
• 4:31
Speaker 1: put all of the survivor's names on all these buildings
• 4:33
Speaker 1: because the survivors and their abuse paid for them all.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: And that's not hyperbole either. Without these survivors getting abused
• 4:40
Speaker 1: in the Virgin Islands, when these people were all in
• 4:43
Speaker 1: bed with Epstein, they wouldn't have any of this money, right,
• 4:47
Speaker 1: So they benefited off of the abuse of these women,
• 4:51
Speaker 1: of these girls, when they should have been protecting them
• 4:54
Speaker 1: in the first place. And nobody else has a problem
• 4:57
Speaker 1: with this, huh. Department of Health will receive eighteen million
• 5:02
Speaker 1: dollar appropriation from the Survivors and Mental Health Healing Trust's
• 5:05
Speaker 1: fund to complete a behavioral health facility on San Qua,
• 5:09
Speaker 1: while three point five million will go toward finishing renovations
• 5:13
Speaker 1: on the east wing of the Uldra shuttle Brandt Mental
• 5:15
Speaker 1: Health Facility. The Saint Thomas East End Medical Center receives
• 5:20
Speaker 1: one million, with the same sum also going to the
• 5:23
Speaker 1: fred Rickistead Health Center. The sports complex gets more than
• 5:27
Speaker 1: the mental health sounds about right. My guess is somebody's
• 5:31
Speaker 1: going to get pieced off and they're going to be
• 5:33
Speaker 1: able to make some money from this whole entire thing,
• 5:35
Speaker 1: because we all know that's what the USBI is all about.
• 5:38
Speaker 1: And just when I think my levels of disgust when
• 5:40
Speaker 1: it comes to Epstein can't get any higher, well, here
• 5:43
Speaker 1: we are. The Department of Justice will receive twenty five
• 5:47
Speaker 1: million to construct their san Qua offices and five million
• 5:51
Speaker 1: for crime prevention and prosecution, while one hundred and twenty
• 5:54
Speaker 1: five thousand will go towards police training. Twenty five million
• 5:58
Speaker 1: dollars of the survivor ever money to build some Sanqua
• 6:02
Speaker 1: offices for the Department of Justice on the Virgin Islands.
• 6:07
Speaker 1: Do you need any more evidence of what they were
• 6:09
Speaker 1: up to here? This whole entire thing was nothing more
• 6:11
Speaker 1: than a cash grab. That's what it was from the
• 6:14
Speaker 1: start and that's what it is today. Meanwhile, the VI
• 6:18
Speaker 1: Housing Authority will receive three and a half million to renovate,
• 6:21
Speaker 1: rehabilitate and construct recreational facilities in public housing communities on
• 6:26
Speaker 1: Saint Thomas and Saint Croix. The Agro Food and Innovation
• 6:29
Speaker 1: Center on Sant Cua will receive four hundred thousand, while
• 6:33
Speaker 1: the agro Food Technology Center, housed in the Marcelli Institute
• 6:37
Speaker 1: on Saint Thomas, will receive six hundred and seventy five
• 6:39
Speaker 1: thousand dollars. Senator Fred Gregory indicated the EDA has been
• 6:45
Speaker 1: allocated ten million to establish the Virgin Islands Catalyst Revolving
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Fund and a further two and a half million for
• 6:51
Speaker 1: low interest loans to local homeowners for the repair, renovation
• 6:55
Speaker 1: and rehabilitation of their residences. So it's nice that the
• 6:59
Speaker 1: survivors footing the bill. The problem is nobody ever got
• 7:03
Speaker 1: their approval the USVII. They entered the chat and they
• 7:07
Speaker 1: were talking about how they were gonna hold people responsible,
• 7:10
Speaker 1: how they were gonna hold people accountable for what they
• 7:12
Speaker 1: allegedly did while they were in the USVII, And instead
• 7:16
Speaker 1: what they did is basically just extort people for payments.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: They let Leon Black walk after a sixty two and
• 7:23
Speaker 1: a half million dollar payment. You mean to tell me,
• 7:26
Speaker 1: with all the evidence you say you have, you're comfortable
• 7:29
Speaker 1: with just letting this dude walk. The whole entire thing
• 7:31
Speaker 1: smells like bigfoots dick. A general purpose appropriation of twenty
• 7:35
Speaker 1: five million was also made to be invested in a
• 7:37
Speaker 1: high Yield Investment Account for at least three years. The
• 7:41
Speaker 1: funds will also be used for the purpose of the
• 7:43
Speaker 1: people of the Virgin Islands. Senator Fret Gregory said, whatever
• 7:47
Speaker 1: that means. How much money is Senator Fret Gregory getting
• 7:51
Speaker 1: and how much is Stacy Plasktt gonna benefit. I'm sure
• 7:54
Speaker 1: she's getting something new and shiny out of all of this.
• 7:57
Speaker 1: Another Epstein related measure, Bill third zero three seven to one,
• 8:02
Speaker 1: sponsored by Senator Franklin Johnson, orders the VII Inspector General
• 8:06
Speaker 1: to audit the Economic Development Authority. Oh a little too
• 8:10
Speaker 1: late for that. We're talking decades too late. So what
• 8:13
Speaker 1: they're doing here is a cleanup job. The whole point
• 8:16
Speaker 1: of this is to tell you, oh, we did something,
• 8:18
Speaker 1: we investigated and there was nothing there, just like the
• 8:21
Speaker 1: OIG report, right, more bullshit, more nonsense, more gas lighting,
• 8:26
Speaker 1: and more straight out lives. And that's all we've been
• 8:28
Speaker 1: dealing with for decades now. When we're talking about Jeffrey
• 8:31
Speaker 1: Epstein and when we're talking about the US Virgin Islands,
• 8:35
Speaker 1: I have told you from the very beginning that they
• 8:37
Speaker 1: were up to no good, and this sort of thing
• 8:39
Speaker 1: really just slams that point home. The investigation, according to
• 8:43
Speaker 1: the legislation, will focus on why Jeffrey Epstein and his
• 8:46
Speaker 1: affiliated companies continue to receive economic benefits after his two
• 8:51
Speaker 1: thousand and eight felony conviction on charges of procuring a
• 8:54
Speaker 1: minor for a prostitution. The audit will also seek to
• 8:58
Speaker 1: learn whether EDA conducted a p of its own following
• 9:01
Speaker 1: mister Epstein's conviction, and will determine what changes, if any,
• 9:05
Speaker 1: of the agency made when it comes to granting tax
• 9:08
Speaker 1: concessions to company principles who are convicted felons. A cleanup job.
• 9:13
Speaker 1: No one's going to be held accountable. What you think
• 9:14
Speaker 1: somebody is going to go to jail? Oh what you
• 9:16
Speaker 1: thought somebody was going to lose their pension. None of
• 9:18
Speaker 1: that's going to happen. This is all so they can
• 9:21
Speaker 1: justify their bullshit. And as you all know, I'm never
• 9:24
Speaker 1: a fan of people investigating themselves, and that's what they
• 9:28
Speaker 1: did here. They're going to investigate themselves. Oh yeah, let's
• 9:31
Speaker 1: see what the EDA was up to. We know what
• 9:33
Speaker 1: they were up to. They were given Epstein benefits while
• 9:36
Speaker 1: stuff in their pockets on the back end. Run home
• 9:38
Speaker 1: and tell that the bill appropriates seventy five thousand for
• 9:43
Speaker 1: the conduct of the audit, and gives the Inspector General
• 9:46
Speaker 1: the power to appoint additional personnel, including a special investigator,
• 9:50
Speaker 1: to provide assistance. If signed into law by Governor Bryan,
• 9:54
Speaker 1: the completed audit report must be submitted to the executive
• 9:58
Speaker 1: and legislative branches within a year. Oh yeah, because mister
• 10:02
Speaker 1: Brian is somebody we can rely on, considering he took
• 10:04
Speaker 1: dough allegedly too. Look, the whole entire thing down here
• 10:08
Speaker 1: is rotten, and the whole entire USVII. Well, I don't
• 10:12
Speaker 1: trust one single thing that's happening down here, and I
• 10:14
Speaker 1: certainly don't trust Stacey Plaskett. She's out here taking a
• 10:18
Speaker 1: bunch of dough from Epstein, talking about she's not gonna
• 10:20
Speaker 1: give it back, and then only when she's pressured does
• 10:23
Speaker 1: she decide to go back on that statement and give
• 10:26
Speaker 1: the money up. She had no intention to give the
• 10:29
Speaker 1: money back. And remember we're not talking about before Epstein
• 10:32
Speaker 1: was convicted. We're talking about after Epstein was convicted. She
• 10:36
Speaker 1: knew what he was and she still took that dough.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: But the sad truth is nobody in the legacy media
• 10:42
Speaker 1: even cares. Nobody brings up that Stacey Plaskett is currently
• 10:45
Speaker 1: being sued by Epstein's survivors. Why would they do that?
• 10:48
Speaker 1: Doesn't run with their narrative, right, So they're not gonna
• 10:51
Speaker 1: bring it up. Unfortunately for them. We're gonna do it
• 10:54
Speaker 1: for them. So we'll continue to follow along with what's
• 10:56
Speaker 1: going on down here in the USVII. But the whole
• 11:00
Speaker 1: entire thing is a shroud. They never cared about justice.
• 11:04
Speaker 1: All they ever cared about was getting that bag. All
• 11:08
Speaker 1: of the information that goes with this episode can be
• 11:10
Speaker 1: found in the description box. What's up everyone, and welcome
• 11:14
Speaker 1: back to the program. I guess it shouldn't be a
• 11:18
Speaker 1: shock to anybody out there that another settlement has occurred
• 11:22
Speaker 1: in the sordid world known as Jeffrey Epstein, and that
• 11:26
Speaker 1: settlement is between JP Morgan and the US Virgin Islands. Previously,
• 11:31
Speaker 1: we had heard from JP Morgan that they had no
• 11:35
Speaker 1: interest in entering in any kind of settlement with the
• 11:38
Speaker 1: United States Virgin Islands, and not only that, but also
• 11:41
Speaker 1: accused them of extorting them. Now, the original ask was
• 11:45
Speaker 1: close to one hundred and ninety million something like that,
• 11:49
Speaker 1: and they ended up settling now for seventy five million
• 11:52
Speaker 1: dollars and for JP Morgan it just drops in the bucket.
• 11:56
Speaker 1: What does it matter seventy five more million dollars that
• 11:59
Speaker 1: they'll run off somewhere else. And who was held accountable anybody?
• 12:04
Speaker 1: Did anyone go to jail? Have we had any convictions?
• 12:07
Speaker 1: The answer is no. So all of this stuff that
• 12:10
Speaker 1: we've seen, all of these payoffs, all of these settlements,
• 12:13
Speaker 1: it's all just legal hush money. That's what it comes
• 12:16
Speaker 1: down to. Nobody wants this in the court, nobody wants
• 12:19
Speaker 1: this to get aired out. And if that means they
• 12:21
Speaker 1: have to pay out of their ear to make sure
• 12:23
Speaker 1: it doesn't happen, then that's what they're going to do.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: And as far as the US Virgin Islands is concerned,
• 12:29
Speaker 1: they have now raked in dough on both sides of
• 12:32
Speaker 1: the Epstein fiasco. Not only were they dipping their beak
• 12:36
Speaker 1: into his pond when he was the man dolen' out cash,
• 12:40
Speaker 1: but now they're getting money on the back end, on
• 12:42
Speaker 1: the backs of the survivors who were abused while under
• 12:46
Speaker 1: the jurisdiction of the US Virgin Islands. So can somebody
• 12:49
Speaker 1: please explain to me how the same people that let
• 12:52
Speaker 1: this dude get away with what he was getting away
• 12:54
Speaker 1: with on the island. Are benefiting on both ends of this.
• 12:58
Speaker 1: I mean, it's a good racket, you can get it,
• 13:01
Speaker 1: but you know who's not gonna benefit from it the
• 13:03
Speaker 1: survivors of Jeffrey Epstein or any of the other people
• 13:06
Speaker 1: who were affected. Do you think that the population, the
• 13:09
Speaker 1: people of the US Virgin Islands are all gonna get
• 13:12
Speaker 1: a little taste of this money or is this money
• 13:15
Speaker 1: gonna get blown on whatever dumb project these moronic politicians
• 13:20
Speaker 1: get bribed into giving the go ahead to, and the
• 13:22
Speaker 1: people of the US Virgin Islands will be left to
• 13:25
Speaker 1: once again eat some cake. Today's article is from The
• 13:29
Speaker 1: Independent and the headline JP Morgan to pay seventy five
• 13:32
Speaker 1: million dollars to settle Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking lawsuit with
• 13:36
Speaker 1: US Virgin Islands. That sure is a far cry from
• 13:40
Speaker 1: what they were originally asking though, And the reason that
• 13:43
Speaker 1: they were willing to settle is because they knew that
• 13:46
Speaker 1: this was a cash grab and they didn't want to
• 13:48
Speaker 1: risk it in a court of law. So they figured
• 13:50
Speaker 1: if they pressed hard enough, maybe, just maybe JP Morgan
• 13:54
Speaker 1: would eventually settle, And that's what ended up happening here.
• 13:57
Speaker 1: After a whole bunch of legal fees, they probably decided
• 14:01
Speaker 1: that seventy five million dollars that was the ass price
• 14:04
Speaker 1: here to get things to go away. Well, that wasn't
• 14:07
Speaker 1: too much money to ask for, not from JP Morgan.
• 14:11
Speaker 1: Remember who we're dealing with here, and remember that they
• 14:14
Speaker 1: loved to buy their way out of trouble. It's the
• 14:17
Speaker 1: financial sector after all. This article was authored by Bevin Hurley.
• 14:23
Speaker 1: JP Morgan Chase will pay seventy five million dollars to
• 14:27
Speaker 1: settle a lawsuit with the US Virgin Islands that alleged
• 14:30
Speaker 1: the Wall Street Giant was complicit in Jeffrey Epstein's sex
• 14:34
Speaker 1: trafficking of young women. A JP Morgan spokesperson said the
• 14:39
Speaker 1: bank did not admit any wrongdoing in the settlement, which
• 14:42
Speaker 1: will provide fifty five million dollars to the Virgin Island
• 14:45
Speaker 1: charities and anti trafficking organizations. The remaining twenty million dollars
• 14:51
Speaker 1: will cover the island's territories legal expenses during the nearly
• 14:55
Speaker 1: year long litigation in a federal court in New York.
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: I'll give me a b Yeah, it's gonna pump that
• 15:01
Speaker 1: money into trafficking organizations. Huh, why not just give it
• 15:06
Speaker 1: to the survivors. Then, if you really cared about what
• 15:09
Speaker 1: happened to the people that it actually happened to, how
• 15:12
Speaker 1: about you dole that money out and start your own
• 15:14
Speaker 1: trust to make people right, the people that were hurt
• 15:18
Speaker 1: in your jurisdiction. You won't do it, though, will you,
• 15:21
Speaker 1: Because it's all about the dough. It's always been about
• 15:24
Speaker 1: the dough, and this whole thing, this whole operation by
• 15:28
Speaker 1: the US Virgin Islands, has never been about justice, in
• 15:31
Speaker 1: my opinion. It's been about getting some money and making
• 15:35
Speaker 1: sure that they benefit and profit on the back end
• 15:38
Speaker 1: like they did on the front end. The bank also
• 15:40
Speaker 1: settled its litigation with former executive Jess Staley, who was
• 15:44
Speaker 1: accused in court of hiding Epstein's abuse in order to
• 15:47
Speaker 1: retain him as a client. The terms of the settlement
• 15:51
Speaker 1: with mister Staley are confidential. You want to take a
• 15:54
Speaker 1: look at the two tier justice system here. It is
• 15:57
Speaker 1: these kinds of rules that are in place for rich
• 15:59
Speaker 1: people to either way out of allegations like this. Well,
• 16:02
Speaker 1: they're put on the books for rich people. They're not
• 16:05
Speaker 1: put on the books for people like me and you.
• 16:07
Speaker 1: And after all the hooton and hollerin after all of
• 16:09
Speaker 1: the bs. What's gonna happen here is nobody's gonna remember
• 16:13
Speaker 1: this in five or ten years for the most part,
• 16:16
Speaker 1: and everything is just gonna go right under the rug.
• 16:19
Speaker 1: Nobody will be accountable. You really think people are gonna
• 16:21
Speaker 1: remember a seventy five million dollar settlement. Now, we might remember,
• 16:26
Speaker 1: but I'm talking about people at large. We all know
• 16:29
Speaker 1: that there's a twenty four hour news cycle, and that
• 16:32
Speaker 1: twenty four hour news cycle eats up old news very quickly.
• 16:36
Speaker 1: So the whole entire idea here is to make this
• 16:39
Speaker 1: go away. That's always been the idea, that always will
• 16:42
Speaker 1: be the idea when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein and
• 16:45
Speaker 1: all these other scumbags that enabled them. Epstein was a
• 16:50
Speaker 1: client at JP Morgan between nineteen ninety eight and twenty thirteen,
• 16:54
Speaker 1: despite reports of his sexual offending becoming widely known internally
• 16:59
Speaker 1: in two thousand and six. In two thousand and eight,
• 17:02
Speaker 1: he was convicted of procuring underage prostitutes and sentenced to
• 17:06
Speaker 1: eighteen months in prison. It would take JP Morgan another
• 17:10
Speaker 1: two years to flag Epstein as a sex offender. According
• 17:13
Speaker 1: to court documents. Epstein died by suicide allegedly in a
• 17:18
Speaker 1: Manhattan jail cell in twenty nineteen while awaiting trial for
• 17:22
Speaker 1: sex trafficking crimes. And I can promise you, moving forward,
• 17:25
Speaker 1: the narrative is going to be that JP Morgan had
• 17:28
Speaker 1: to pay a settlement to the US Virgin Islands. Meanwhile,
• 17:32
Speaker 1: the United States Virgin Islands is going to get off
• 17:34
Speaker 1: scot free. And not only that, but they're going to
• 17:36
Speaker 1: profit from their nonsense. You mean to tell me that
• 17:39
Speaker 1: none of these officials down here are taking note of
• 17:42
Speaker 1: what's happening and aren't going to enrich themselves moving on
• 17:46
Speaker 1: in the future. Why wouldn't they. It's not like they're
• 17:48
Speaker 1: going to face any kind of criminal charges. So while
• 17:50
Speaker 1: it's always nice to see the financial sector take it
• 17:53
Speaker 1: in the teeth, the US Virgin Islands was culpable here
• 17:57
Speaker 1: as well, and I hope that somebody at some point
• 18:00
Speaker 1: puts them on blast for it. In a statement, a
• 18:02
Speaker 1: JP Morgan spokesperson said, while the settlement does not involve
• 18:06
Speaker 1: admissions of liability, the firm deeply regrets any association with
• 18:10
Speaker 1: this man and would never have continued doing business with
• 18:14
Speaker 1: him if it believed he was using the bank in
• 18:16
Speaker 1: any way to commit his ain'tus crimes. Yeah, that's why
• 18:20
Speaker 1: you guys all joked about it. That's why you guys
• 18:22
Speaker 1: all made light of what was going on. So save
• 18:25
Speaker 1: the nonsense and the gas lighting for people who might
• 18:27
Speaker 1: not have been paying attention. The agreement recognizes the bank's
• 18:32
Speaker 1: previous and ongoing efforts to fight human trafficking through its
• 18:36
Speaker 1: anti money laundering program. The spokesperson added, Yeah, you know,
• 18:39
Speaker 1: because now that everybody's getting their bag, we'll just walk
• 18:43
Speaker 1: back what we had to say about JP Morgan previously
• 18:45
Speaker 1: and let's talk about how they're involved in the fight
• 18:48
Speaker 1: against human trafficking. It's all such a farce, the whole
• 18:51
Speaker 1: entire thing, the whole investigation into this dude, all the payouts,
• 18:55
Speaker 1: all the hush money, all the bullshit, all of it,
• 18:58
Speaker 1: just to lead to a point where where people are
• 19:00
Speaker 1: paying hush money once again. This time it just happens
• 19:03
Speaker 1: to be legal hush money that's being okayed by the court.
• 19:07
Speaker 1: Epstein withdrew as much as seven hundred and fifty thousand
• 19:10
Speaker 1: dollars a year in cash from JP Morgan accounts to
• 19:13
Speaker 1: pay off his network of enablers and the vulnerable girls
• 19:16
Speaker 1: and young women he trafficked to his two secluded islands
• 19:20
Speaker 1: in the US Virgin Islands. Attorneys for the territory alleged
• 19:24
Speaker 1: in the lawsuit. JP Morgan alleged in court that the
• 19:27
Speaker 1: USVII had enabled Epstein's offending by granting him tax breaks
• 19:32
Speaker 1: that it overlooked his crimes in return for cash payments
• 19:36
Speaker 1: to local officials. Epstein owned two islands, Little Saint James
• 19:40
Speaker 1: and Great Saint James, under the jurisdiction of the territory.
• 19:45
Speaker 1: The USVII had previously said it was seeking at least
• 19:48
Speaker 1: one hundred and ninety million dollars to settle the suit.
• 19:51
Speaker 1: A trial had been scheduled to begin in New York
• 19:55
Speaker 1: on October twenty third. In a statement, Virgin Island's Attorney
• 19:58
Speaker 1: General Ariel Smith said the settlement was the first time
• 20:02
Speaker 1: a bank had paid an enforcement action for human trafficking. Yeah,
• 20:06
Speaker 1: you know, folks, the US Virgin Islands, they're real pioneers
• 20:09
Speaker 1: when it comes to the fight against human trafficking. They're
• 20:12
Speaker 1: just the pinnacle of what it should be. Look at
• 20:14
Speaker 1: all this enforcement that took place down here. Look at
• 20:17
Speaker 1: all these girls that were rescued, Look at all of
• 20:19
Speaker 1: these people who were saved from Jeffrey Epstein down here
• 20:22
Speaker 1: in the US Virgin Islands because of the pioneering politicians
• 20:26
Speaker 1: that inhabited the territory. I mean, are they fucking kid
• 20:30
Speaker 1: right now? And anyone who's buying this shit, boy, I
• 20:33
Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you. Besides, smoking toad venom
• 20:36
Speaker 1: is not a good way to go through life, son.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: This settlement is an historic victory for survivors and for
• 20:42
Speaker 1: state enforcement, and it should sound the alarm on Wall
• 20:45
Speaker 1: Street about Bank's responsibilities under the law to detect and
• 20:49
Speaker 1: prevent human trafficking. What about your responsibility and the responsibility
• 20:53
Speaker 1: of the other elected officials in the US Virgin Islands.
• 20:57
Speaker 1: In June, JP Morgan agreed to pay two hundred and
• 21:00
Speaker 1: ninety million dollars to settle the lawsuit with a survivor
• 21:03
Speaker 1: of the late sexual predator Epstein. Meanwhile, the USVII has
• 21:08
Speaker 1: also secured one hundred and five million dollars settlement with
• 21:11
Speaker 1: Epstein's estate, while billionaire Leon Black paid the territory sixty
• 21:16
Speaker 1: two and a half million to resolve claims related to
• 21:19
Speaker 1: the territory's investigation of Epstein's sex trafficking ring. In May,
• 21:25
Speaker 1: Deutsche Bank paid seventy five million dollars to settle the
• 21:28
Speaker 1: lawsuit filed by sexual abuse victims of Epstein. He had
• 21:32
Speaker 1: been a client at the bank between twenty thirteen and
• 21:36
Speaker 1: twenty eighteen. So, after all the nonsense, after all the accusations,
• 21:41
Speaker 1: after all the lawsuits, after all the court documents filed,
• 21:45
Speaker 1: where does that leave us? Well, it leaves us exactly
• 21:48
Speaker 1: where we started, except the US Virgin Islands has gotten
• 21:52
Speaker 1: richer and the survivors, unfortunately, have once again lost compensation
• 21:58
Speaker 1: that should have been going to them. But yeah, sure,
• 22:01
Speaker 1: let's celebrate the US Virgin Islands and their historic victory.
• 22:06
Speaker 1: All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this one.
• 22:08
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
• 22:10
Speaker 1: at Bobby Kapuci at protonmeil dot com. That's Bobby capu
• 22:16
Speaker 1: Cci at proton mail dot com. All of the information
• 22:20
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 22:23
Speaker 1: description box. What's up everyone, and welcome back to the
• 22:27
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. So Leon Black has paid a sixty two
• 22:32
Speaker 1: and a half million dollars settlement to the United States
• 22:35
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands for his alleged role in Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit
• 22:40
Speaker 1: and isn't it amazing how all of these people who
• 22:43
Speaker 1: had no idea what was going on, who had nothing
• 22:46
Speaker 1: to do with Jeffrey Epstein and his criminal enterprise, how
• 22:49
Speaker 1: they're all paying out so much money. That's very interesting, right,
• 22:53
Speaker 1: because if you were innocent, you would fight that. You
• 22:55
Speaker 1: wouldn't say, all right, you know what, here's sixty two
• 22:58
  Speaker 1: and a half million, let's call it a day. I
• 23:01
Speaker 1: know that if I was innocent, I certainly wouldn't be
• 23:03
Speaker 1: forking over that, though. But all of these people who
• 23:07
Speaker 1: were involved with this combag have no problem forking out
• 23:10
Speaker 1: this money. And all of that is to avoid going
• 23:13
Speaker 1: to discovery in any of these trials because they know
• 23:17
Speaker 1: at Discovery they're going to get absolutely walloped with evidence
• 23:21
Speaker 1: about their role and about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein
• 23:25
Speaker 1: and Leon Black's no different. But the saddest part is
• 23:29
Speaker 1: the fact that the US Virgin Islands is going to
• 23:31
Speaker 1: get this money and not the Epstein survivors. So, if
• 23:35
Speaker 1: we're doing our math correctly, the US Virgin Islands has
• 23:39
Speaker 1: now profited to the tune of one hundred and sixty
• 23:43
Speaker 1: seven and a half million dollars directly off the back
• 23:46
Speaker 1: of the survivors and the abuse that they suffered. In
• 23:50
Speaker 1: the words of Sebastian Manuscalco, aren't you embarrassed? Today's article
• 23:55
Speaker 1: is from the Saint Thomas Source and the headline report
• 23:59
Speaker 1: billionaire on Black paid the Virgin Islands sixty two and
• 24:02
Speaker 1: a half million over Epstein ties. But I thought they
• 24:06
Speaker 1: weren't really friends. I thought they were just associates. This
• 24:11
Speaker 1: article was authored by Seeing Cobb. Billionaire investor Leon Black
• 24:16
Speaker 1: agreed in January to pay the US Virgin Islands sixty
• 24:20
Speaker 1: two and a half million dollars to be released from
• 24:23
Speaker 1: any claims related to the territory's investigation into the sex
• 24:27
Speaker 1: trafficking of late disgraced financier pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, The New
• 24:32
Speaker 1: York Times has reported. And now it all makes sense, right,
• 24:36
Speaker 1: It makes sense why the US Virgin Islands set out
• 24:39
Speaker 1: all of these subpoenas to all of these rich people.
• 24:42
Speaker 1: They were just fishing. Let's see who we can get
• 24:45
Speaker 1: to come to the table and give us a settlement.
• 24:48
Speaker 1: I know that's a cynical way to look at it.
• 24:50
Speaker 1: But did they send anybody to prison? Did anyone even
• 24:53
Speaker 1: get hit with criminal charges? Well, we all know the
• 24:56
Speaker 1: answers to that. Black seventy one, the former chief executive
• 25:00
Speaker 1: of private equity firm Apollo Global Management, had a decades
• 25:04
Speaker 1: long relationship with Epstein, whom he paid some one hundred
• 25:08
Speaker 1: and fifty eight million dollars over the years for tax
• 25:11
Speaker 1: and estate planning services, according to The Times. And does
• 25:15
Speaker 1: anyone believe that has anyone ever paid one hundred and
• 25:18
Speaker 1: sixty million dollars in the history of the world for
• 25:20
Speaker 1: somebody else's advice? I highly doubt it, not somebody like
• 25:24
Speaker 1: Leon Black. So what was the one hundred and sixty
• 25:26
Speaker 1: million really for? That's the real question. And my guess
• 25:29
Speaker 1: is Epstein was hiding money for him. You know, Epstein rolls.
• 25:33
Speaker 1: He was out there laundering money, had a whole ass
• 25:36
Speaker 1: operation set up offshore to do just that. And that's
• 25:40
Speaker 1: what all of these scumbags were doing. And that's another
• 25:43
Speaker 1: reason why you didn't see a Rico case here, because
• 25:45
Speaker 1: it would have been all encompassing. And all of these
• 25:48
Speaker 1: jackovs that were hanging out with Epstein, giving him his money,
• 25:52
Speaker 1: getting money from him, well, they'd all be caught up
• 25:55
Speaker 1: in this Rico scam. And all of your favorite politicians,
• 25:58
Speaker 1: well they couldn't have that because as who would fund
• 26:01
Speaker 1: their next run for office. He severed that relationship amit
• 26:05
Speaker 1: a dispute in twenty eighteen, according to the newspaper, and
• 26:10
Speaker 1: was cooperating with the VI government's investigation into Epstein. In
• 26:15
Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, he stepped down as CEO and chairman
• 26:18
Speaker 1: of Apollo after an internal investigation revealed his payments to Epstein.
• 26:24
Speaker 1: He also did not reseek election to the board of
• 26:27
Speaker 1: the Museum of Modern Art in New York City when
• 26:30
Speaker 1: his term as chairman ended that year in the wake
• 26:33
Speaker 1: of protests over his financial ties to Epstein. According to
• 26:37
Speaker 1: reports at the time, Black saved at least one point
• 26:40
Speaker 1: three billion dollars using Epstein's tax avoidant strategies, and in
• 26:45
Speaker 1: twenty twenty one pledged to donate two hundred million dollars
• 26:48
Speaker 1: to women's initiatives. They always say that, right, we're going
• 26:52
Speaker 1: to donate to this woman's initiative. Then the money goes
• 26:54
Speaker 1: to this gigantic I'm using air quotes here charity where
• 26:59
Speaker 1: only pennies on the dollar even reached the victims. So
• 27:02
Speaker 1: it's all bs. And my guess is he's probably giving
• 27:05
Speaker 1: the money to some foundation that's run by a friend
• 27:08
Speaker 1: to his. You know how the nepotism works with these scumbags,
• 27:12
Speaker 1: all of these people, the so called elite, they have
• 27:14
Speaker 1: a lot of disdain for you. VI Attorney General Office
• 27:18
Speaker 1: spokesperson Venetia h Velasquez said in a statement Friday evening
• 27:23
Speaker 1: that the settlement with Black reflects the department's determination to
• 27:27
Speaker 1: fight human trafficking. Oh give me a break, So who
• 27:30
Speaker 1: did you arrest? How many people have you arrested? And
• 27:33
Speaker 1: how much of that money have you distributed to the
• 27:36
Speaker 1: survivors of Epstein. Oh that's right, none, not one single
• 27:39
Speaker 1: dollar and nobody arrested. So do us a favor and
• 27:42
Speaker 1: stop trying to tell us this is all about justice.
• 27:44
Speaker 1: This is all about secure in a bag and getting
• 27:47
Speaker 1: more money for the US Virgin Islands. For the past
• 27:51
Speaker 1: several years, the Virgin Islands Department of Justice has made
• 27:54
Speaker 1: it a priority to support human trafficking victims and to
• 27:58
Speaker 1: enforce the law to prevent an deter human trafficking. Unlike
• 28:02
Speaker 1: any single individual, JP Morgan had detailed and comprehensive financial
• 28:07
Speaker 1: data on Epstein's activities and the legal obligation to share
• 28:11
Speaker 1: that information with law enforcement so that it could act
• 28:15
Speaker 1: to stop his ongoing abuse, said Veloquez. The Virgin Islands
• 28:19
Speaker 1: DOJ has and will continue to allocate substantial resources from
• 28:24
Speaker 1: settlements and enforcement actions to enhancing and expanding its counseling
• 28:29
Speaker 1: and mental health services and preventing human trafficking. Oh, give
• 28:33
Speaker 1: me a break. They've had all this time to do that.
• 28:37
Speaker 1: They've had all the opportunity in the world to do that,
• 28:40
Speaker 1: and they've also had all the opportunity in the world
• 28:43
Speaker 1: to hold people accountable. They've done none of it, not
• 28:45
Speaker 1: one single bit of it. But now, oh, now they're
• 28:48
Speaker 1: going to allocate all the resources that are needed. Yeah,
• 28:51
Speaker 1: I'm sure the people of the US Virgin Islands, the
• 28:53
Speaker 1: people who need those resources the most, are going to
• 28:56
Speaker 1: get them, because you know, that's exactly what governments do
• 28:59
Speaker 1: after a cash grab. According to The Times, some of
• 29:03
Speaker 1: the money from the settlement with Black will go to
• 29:06
Speaker 1: mental health programs and to combat sex trafficking in the territory. No,
• 29:10
Speaker 1: it's not what does that even mean? Talk about a
• 29:13
Speaker 1: vagueas statement. Give us a line by line, itemized list
• 29:17
Speaker 1: of where this money is going. And here's an idea.
• 29:20
Speaker 1: Instead of doing that, why don't you give this money
• 29:22
Speaker 1: to the survivors. Oh, that's right, because that's not what
• 29:26
Speaker 1: it's about. It's not about justice. It's about greed. Like
• 29:30
Speaker 1: everybody else involved in this bullshit, it's about greed. The
• 29:34
Speaker 1: settlement does not cover claims that anyone else might bring
• 29:37
Speaker 1: against Black, but also cannot be used as evidence of
• 29:40
Speaker 1: wrongdoing by him, The paper reported, way to give him
• 29:44
Speaker 1: an assist US Virgin Islands. Imagine, in the middle of
• 29:47
Speaker 1: his other legal disputes, criminal, mind you, the US Virgin
• 29:51
Speaker 1: Islands comes flying in here and collects a few bucks.
• 29:55
Speaker 1: It's like when the vultures are circling, right, somebody's about
• 29:58
Speaker 1: to die in the desert or whatever, and you got
• 30:00
Speaker 1: the vultures circling above them. Well, that's what the US
• 30:03
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands is like whenever there's a settlement to be had.
• 30:06
Speaker 1: When it comes to Epstein with Clay, a spokesman for Black,
• 30:10
Speaker 1: told The Times that the mogul engaged and made payments
• 30:13
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein for legitimate financial services, which, based on
• 30:17
Speaker 1: everything now known, he very much regrets. Consistent with settlements
• 30:22
Speaker 1: of other major US banks, mister Black resolved the usvii's
• 30:26
Speaker 1: potential claims arising out of the unintended consequences of those payments,
• 30:32
Speaker 1: which allegedly involved Epstein Southern Trust Company, the same one
• 30:36
Speaker 1: that received lucrative tax benefits through the Territories Economic Development
• 30:41
Speaker 1: Commission and was at the center of the USVII suit
• 30:44
Speaker 1: against his estate. And just think about that for a minute.
• 30:48
Speaker 1: All of these people that were involved, every single one
• 30:51
Speaker 1: of them, is able to buy their way out of this,
• 30:54
Speaker 1: no extra scrutiny, no criminal charges, nothing. And it's not
• 30:59
Speaker 1: just about money. Remember guys like El Choppo have money.
• 31:02
Speaker 1: John Gotti had money. You know, they don't have connections
• 31:05
Speaker 1: in the government. If you don't have connections in the government,
• 31:08
Speaker 1: you don't have connections in the DOJ, then your money
• 31:11
Speaker 1: is worthless if you get in trouble. When we're talking
• 31:15
Speaker 1: about a guy like Leon Black, he's not just a
• 31:17
Speaker 1: duo with money. This is a man that runs in
• 31:20
Speaker 1: the halls of power, knows all of the power brokers.
• 31:23
Speaker 1: And if anybody ever thought that he was going to
• 31:25
Speaker 1: be really held responsible for what he did, well they
• 31:28
Speaker 1: were smoking that good good because guys like this, as
• 31:31
Speaker 1: history has shown us, are never held responsible. And that's
• 31:35
Speaker 1: because there's always the outlet, the outlet of paying a
• 31:38
Speaker 1: few bucks to get out of trouble and to get
• 31:40
Speaker 1: yourself off the hook. And time and time again we
• 31:43
Speaker 1: have seen these governments allow that shit, and we see
• 31:47
Speaker 1: these judges gleefully sign off on it. Well, at some
• 31:50
Speaker 1: point that has to end, and there has to be
• 31:52
Speaker 1: real repercussions for scuz balls who are doing the bullshit
• 31:56
Speaker 1: that these idiots are doing. The Justice Department produced a
• 31:59
Speaker 1: copy of the previously unreported settlement agreement in response to
• 32:04
Speaker 1: a public records request by the Times. The paper said
• 32:07
Speaker 1: the deal was reached during a private mediation session in January.
• 32:12
Speaker 1: According to another document reviewed by The Times, Black, a
• 32:16
Speaker 1: married father of four, has faced accusations by a woman
• 32:19
Speaker 1: named Gazelle Ganieva, who claimed she was sexually harassed and
• 32:23
Speaker 1: abused by him for years and ultimately forced to sign
• 32:27
Speaker 1: a non disclosure agreement under duress, according to reports by
• 32:31
Speaker 1: Business Insider, Bloomberg and Reuters. He has said it was
• 32:36
Speaker 1: a consensual affair. She also alleged that he introduced her
• 32:40
Speaker 1: to Epstein and tried to force her to have sex
• 32:43
Speaker 1: with them. Another accuser, Sherry Pearson, said Black raped her
• 32:48
Speaker 1: in two thousand and two in Epstein's mansion in New
• 32:51
Speaker 1: York City. According to reports by CNN, the Wall Street Journal,
• 32:55
Speaker 1: and The New York Post. Black has denied those claims.
• 33:00
Speaker 1: The January deal with Black came after the territory settled
• 33:04
Speaker 1: a suit against Epstein's estate for one hundred and five
• 33:07
Speaker 1: million dollars in November. It subsequently sued JP Morgan Chase
• 33:12
Speaker 1: the wealthy financier's bank, you mean pedophiles bank in December.
• 33:16
Speaker 1: The bank is denied wrongdoing and said the government's lawsuit
• 33:20
Speaker 1: is a master class in deflection. It is a master
• 33:23
Speaker 1: class in deflection. But that said, JP Morgan is liable.
• 33:27
Speaker 1: Both sides here are liable, the US Virgin Islands and
• 33:30
Speaker 1: JP Morgan. The VI government is seeking damages of one
• 33:35
Speaker 1: hundred and ninety million dollars in that case, alleging the
• 33:38
Speaker 1: bank violated the Trafficking Victims Protection Act and its dealings
• 33:42
Speaker 1: with Epstein. According to court documents, that suit is ongoing,
• 33:47
Speaker 1: with a trial date of October twenty third. Now, remember
• 33:50
Speaker 1: Deutsche Bank only paid out seventy five million, so Leon
• 33:54
Speaker 1: Black pays out almost as much as a whole ass bank. Okay, Well,
• 33:58
Speaker 1: what was he really up to if he's pan out
• 34:00
Speaker 1: that kind of money? The government has alleged and its
• 34:03
Speaker 1: filings that Epstein connected JP Morgan Chase executives with some
• 34:08
Speaker 1: of the world's most high profile and wealthy individuals, such
• 34:12
Speaker 1: as Black. It claims that, in return for bringing valuable
• 34:15
Speaker 1: new clients into the bank, JP Morgan, through its senior executives,
• 34:20
Speaker 1: ignored the evidence of Epstein's crimes and traded victims public
• 34:23
Speaker 1: safety for its own profits. Sounds like the same exact
• 34:27
Speaker 1: thing that the US Virgin Islands did, because that's what
• 34:31
Speaker 1: they did. How else did Epstein get all of these
• 34:35
Speaker 1: taxi cups? Why was he able to continue to bring
• 34:37
Speaker 1: girls to this island. They don't ever want to answer
• 34:41
Speaker 1: any of that stuff, but at some point they're gonna
• 34:43
Speaker 1: have to. And Judge Raykoff isn't really buying their bs.
• 34:47
Speaker 1: He is not buying the bs of the US Virgin
• 34:49
Speaker 1: Islands when it comes to this lawsuit. So it's going
• 34:52
Speaker 1: to be very very interesting to see what happens inside
• 34:54
Speaker 1: of this courtroom if it gets to that point, and
• 34:57
Speaker 1: I think it's going to. JP Morgan has no desire
• 35:00
Speaker 1: to settle with the US Virgin Islands. In fact, they've
• 35:03
Speaker 1: already taken the posture that they're ready to litigate until
• 35:07
Speaker 1: the cows come home, and litigating against JP Morgan Chase,
• 35:11
  Speaker 1: I don't care if you're a government or not, is
• 35:13
Speaker 1: not going to be a cheap or fun experience. These
• 35:17
Speaker 1: guys have lawyers out of the wazoo and they're going
• 35:19
Speaker 1: to make it super expensive for the US Virgin Islands,
• 35:23
Speaker 1: according to the Government. Beyond black, Epstein offered JP Morgan
• 35:27
Speaker 1: access to such high profile individuals as Prince Andrew of
• 35:31
Speaker 1: Great Britain, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, former US presidential advisor
• 35:36
Speaker 1: David Gergan, Israeli general and politician Ehud Barrock, Israeli Prime
• 35:42
Speaker 1: Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the children of former Australian Prime Minister
• 35:47
Speaker 1: Paul Keating, Lord Peter Mandelsson of the British government, the
• 35:52
Speaker 1: Agnelli family of Fiat motor company fame, and the ruling
• 35:56
Speaker 1: Shiks of Kuwait, Baran Dubai and the United Arab Emirates,
• 36:00
Speaker 1: among many others. That list reads like the bad guy
• 36:03
Speaker 1: list in a superhero movie. And it's also interesting how
• 36:06
Speaker 1: many people on that list have ties to you know who.
• 36:09
Speaker 1: Bill Clinton Epstein sixty six, a registered sex offender who
• 36:14
Speaker 1: pleaded guilty to procuring a minor for prostitution in Florida
• 36:18
Speaker 1: in two thousand and eight. Was found dead by apparent
• 36:21
Speaker 1: suicide in August of twenty nineteen while in detention in
• 36:25
Speaker 1: New York on federal human trafficking charges. His primary residence
• 36:30
Speaker 1: was Little Saint James, his private island off Saint Thomas,
• 36:34
Speaker 1: where for years he trafficked in girls and young women
• 36:38
Speaker 1: and ran a complex web of shell companies registered in
• 36:41
Speaker 1: the USVII that enabled his crimes. Court documents have alleged.
• 36:46
Speaker 1: So who set that up? Was it JP Morgan or
• 36:49
Speaker 1: was it the government in the US Virgin Islands. We
• 36:52
Speaker 1: all know who set it up, and we all know
• 36:54
Speaker 1: who benefited from it. So now the US Virgin Islands
• 36:57
Speaker 1: wants to get duked on both ends of this. So
• 37:00
Speaker 1: you want to get duked on the front end and
• 37:02
Speaker 1: the back end. Meanwhile, you shouldn't be getting any money whatsoever,
• 37:06
Speaker 1: never mind both ends of it. Epstein, who held some
• 37:10
Speaker 1: fifty JP Morgan accounts, was valued at more than five
• 37:13
Speaker 1: hundred and seventy seven million dollars at the time of
• 37:16
Speaker 1: his death, according to court documents. We all know it
• 37:19
Speaker 1: was more than that. The offshore unaccounted for money. Forget it,
• 37:23
Speaker 1: how much is that worth? Who knows, but we know
• 37:26
Speaker 1: there's a ton of it. That's what he excelled in.
• 37:28
Speaker 1: That's what Epstein did. He hid money overseas. He hid
• 37:32
Speaker 1: money so you didn't have to pay taxes, and that's
• 37:34
Speaker 1: what he did for people like Leon Black and the
• 37:37
Speaker 1: rest of these dirt bags. Meanwhile, you have the government
• 37:39
Speaker 1: over here looking at your Etsy account and then they
• 37:42
Speaker 1: wonder why people are pissed off, and it just adds
• 37:45
Speaker 1: to the frustration. It adds to the anger when people
• 37:48
Speaker 1: like Leon Black continuously are able to buy their way
• 37:51
Speaker 1: out of problems that would have the rest of us
• 37:54
Speaker 1: rotting in jail. And so the story goes, all right, everybody,
• 37:58
Speaker 1: that's a rap for this one. All of the information
• 38:01
Speaker 1: that goes with the episode can be found in the
• 38:04
Speaker 1: description box. What's up everyone, and welcome back to the
• 38:08
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Finally, somebody down in the US Virgin Islands
• 38:13
Speaker 1: is saying what everybody should be saying, and that is
• 38:17
Speaker 1: why is the US Virgin Islands going after the banks
• 38:21
Speaker 1: before going after the local politicians and lawmakers who helped
• 38:25
Speaker 1: facilitate all of Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit. Now you can go
• 38:29
Speaker 1: after the banks as well, I'm completely on board with that,
• 38:32
Speaker 1: But why are you going to ignore the real five
• 38:35
Speaker 1: hundred pound gorilla in the room, which is the fact
• 38:37
Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein was allowed to set up shop on
• 38:41
Speaker 1: this island. And there's no excuse for it. No matter
• 38:45
Speaker 1: what anyone says about how the Virgin Islands was a
• 38:49
Speaker 1: victim here and how the Virgin Islands was manipulated by Epstein,
• 38:53
Speaker 1: I don't buy any of that. If the banks were
• 38:57
Speaker 1: enabling Jeffrey Epstein, and if the banks were on on
• 39:00
Speaker 1: board with Jeffrey Epstein, then so were the politicians at
• 39:03
Speaker 1: the time who were running things in the Virgin Islands. Now,
• 39:06
Speaker 1: obviously that doesn't mean the population of the Virgin Islands.
• 39:10
Speaker 1: The people of the Virgin Islands are as sickened by
• 39:12
Speaker 1: all of this as we are, But like the rest
• 39:15
Speaker 1: of us, they're stuck with shitty politicians and shitty lawmakers
• 39:19
Speaker 1: who really don't care about people who have been victimized
• 39:22
Speaker 1: by scombags like Jeffrey Epstein. And I've said it from
• 39:26
Speaker 1: the very beginning with Denise George and her cash grab here,
• 39:30
Speaker 1: and I'll continue to say it forever. Denise George is
• 39:33
Speaker 1: no hero here and the Virgin Islands certainly shouldn't have
• 39:37
Speaker 1: been entitled to one hundred and five million dollars. Today's
• 39:42
Speaker 1: article is from the Virgin Island Daily News headline VII
• 39:47
Speaker 1: files lawsuit against JP Morgan in Epstein case while ignoring
• 39:51
Speaker 1: local politicians who benefited and this is an opinion piece
• 39:56
Speaker 1: that was sent to the paper by former local politician
• 40:01
Speaker 1: Janelle Surraw dear editor, in response to the Office of
• 40:06
Speaker 1: the Attorney General lawsuit against JP Morgan relative to the
• 40:10
Speaker 1: estate of Jeffrey Epstein's lawyers for the Financial Institution noted
• 40:14
Speaker 1: the following in their motion on February first to dismiss
• 40:19
Speaker 1: indeed as a law enforcement agency, USVII United States Virgin
• 40:24
Speaker 1: Islands had access to much more. Along with the investigative
• 40:28
Speaker 1: advantage of physical proximity to Epstein's crimes. USVII did nothing
• 40:33
Speaker 1: to stop Epstein during this period, notwithstanding the fact that
• 40:37
Speaker 1: he registered with the USVII as a Tier one sex offender.
• 40:41
Speaker 1: To the contrary, during the same period, USVII granted Epstein
• 40:45
Speaker 1: and his business lucrative privileges and massive tax incentives. And
• 40:51
Speaker 1: when everybody was freaking out that Denise George got shown
• 40:54
Speaker 1: the door, I just shrugged my shoulders and kept it
• 40:57
Speaker 1: moving because I knew that she wasn't some kind of
• 41:00
Speaker 1: protagonist on this stage. She wasn't somebody that's out here
• 41:05
Speaker 1: trying to get justice. Her whole entire gig was trying
• 41:08
Speaker 1: to secure that bag. Folks, from day one, it was
• 41:11
Speaker 1: never about holding anyone responsible. It was never about holding
• 41:15
Speaker 1: anyone to account. It was about taking some money and running.
• 41:20
Speaker 1: I couldn't agree more. Our government is a filing claims
• 41:24
Speaker 1: against this financial institution while turning a blind eye to
• 41:28
Speaker 1: some local officials who may have personally benefited from mister Epstein.
• 41:33
Speaker 1: Let us put a few facts on the table. The
• 41:36
Speaker 1: chair of the Economic Development Authority EDA must sign off
• 41:40
Speaker 1: on all benefit documents. Who was the chair of the
• 41:43
Speaker 1: EDA at that time? Our president governor was. After the
• 41:48
Speaker 1: chair signs the benefit document, it is forwarded to the
• 41:51
Speaker 1: governor for his signature. Who was the governor Governor John P.
• 41:56
Speaker 1: DeJong Junior, who was the DC beneficiary trust company owned
• 42:01
Speaker 1: by mister Epstein, and who managed said company, the former
• 42:04
Speaker 1: first Lady missus Cecial DeJong. And this has always been
• 42:08
Speaker 1: my biggest problem. All of these people who benefited from
• 42:12
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's behavior. They have some audacity, in some nerve
• 42:17
Speaker 1: to try and reach their hand in the pot again
• 42:19
Speaker 1: and get more money. So Denise George. This whole entire
• 42:24
Speaker 1: bullshit sicco investigation that they have going on is just
• 42:29
Speaker 1: that bullshit. It was never meant to hold anyone accountable
• 42:33
Speaker 1: and instead was nothing more than a pure cash grab.
• 42:37
Speaker 1: If we were to dive deeper, there appears to be
• 42:40
Speaker 1: a conflict of interest. How could a governor whose wife
• 42:43
Speaker 1: manage the operations of Southern Trust Company sign the benefit
• 42:47
Speaker 1: document without that being a conflict of interest? By Governor
• 42:51
Speaker 1: DeJong signing such it gives the appearance that he enriched himself.
• 42:55
Speaker 1: Oh it's not an appearance. All of these people down
• 42:58
Speaker 1: there in the Virgin Islands that had their hand out
• 43:01
Speaker 1: getting money from Epstein, they enriched themselves and in turn
• 43:05
Speaker 1: they helped him abuse those girls. Maybe not physically, but
• 43:09
Speaker 1: they enabled that abuse by looking the other way. Epstein
• 43:14
Speaker 1: has contributed to political campaigns of various senatorial, gubernatorial, and
• 43:19
Speaker 1: congressional candidates within the local Democratic Party. His attorney and
• 43:24
Speaker 1: local base in the Virgin Islands were the ones holding
• 43:27
Speaker 1: major fundraisers for the incumbent unequivocally, a political culture was
• 43:32
Speaker 1: fostered within the local Democratic Party of the Virgin Islands
• 43:36
Speaker 1: that allowed mister Epstein to remain unchecked in exchange for
• 43:40
Speaker 1: his sponsorship and financial contributions. Bing bang boom. That goes
• 43:46
Speaker 1: right to the heart of it. Folks. Everybody that was
• 43:49
Speaker 1: benefiting from him, they were all willing to look the
• 43:53
Speaker 1: other way, continue to get that money, even though they
• 43:56
Speaker 1: knew what he was up to. And down in the
• 44:00
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands especially, we've heard from people who work in
• 44:04
Speaker 1: the airport who have come forward and said, look, we
• 44:07
Speaker 1: knew what was going on, but what can we do
• 44:09
Speaker 1: about it. The local government's in on it. We must
• 44:15
Speaker 1: be honest about this discussion. This background calls into question
• 44:19
Speaker 1: the true reason Governor Bryan fired his Attorney General. Government
• 44:23
Speaker 1: House has said that Brian fired George over concerns of
• 44:27
Speaker 1: inaction on local issues at the AG's office. Bryant, in
• 44:32
Speaker 1: recent interviews with another publication, confirmed that was part of
• 44:36
Speaker 1: what led to her dismissal. While seeking distance from the
• 44:39
Speaker 1: Epstein saga. Now, look, I don't find mister Brian to
• 44:44
Speaker 1: be a good guy either. I find him to be corrupt.
• 44:46
Speaker 1: I find the whole entire operation down here in fact
• 44:49
Speaker 1: to be corrupt. And that's my biggest problem. All of
• 44:52
Speaker 1: these people are jockeying down here like there's an actual
• 44:55
Speaker 1: good guy on the stage, and there is not. First
• 44:59
Speaker 1: and foremost, you know, I can't have an attorney general
• 45:01
Speaker 1: that's launching civil suits that I don't know about. The
• 45:04
Speaker 1: governor said in the article, What does that even mean?
• 45:07
Speaker 1: Yes you can, you're the governor. What the hell do
• 45:09
Speaker 1: you have to do with a civil suit that's being
• 45:12
Speaker 1: brought by a prosecutor? Sit down, shut up, and collect
• 45:16
Speaker 1: your stolen money. I, personally, and I'm sure many other
• 45:21
Speaker 1: Virgin Islanders alike, don't like our name being associated with
• 45:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and child pornography. You know, why are we
• 45:28
Speaker 1: going down that rabbit hole? And the irony to me was,
• 45:31
Speaker 1: you know, four years ago, everybody was scrambling not to
• 45:34
Speaker 1: have been on Jeffrey Epstein's receiving end of donations. Now
• 45:38
Speaker 1: we're suing him for the same dirty money. That seems
• 45:41
  Speaker 1: a little awkward, right, I mean, that's inconsistent and I
• 45:44
Speaker 1: just want us to get away from that. That's not
• 45:47
Speaker 1: the light we want to be seen in. If we
• 45:49
Speaker 1: never mentioned Jeffrey Epstein again, it would be good for me. Yeah,
• 45:52
Speaker 1: it sure would be, considering you were one of his boys,
• 45:55
Speaker 1: You scumbag. Now, don't get it twisted. I'm not saying
• 46:00
Speaker 1: that there wasn't scumbaggery by Governor Bryan here. There was,
• 46:06
Speaker 1: but I think it is a bridge too far to
• 46:08
Speaker 1: try and act like Denise George is some sort of champion.
• 46:14
Speaker 1: Brian also said that he never met Epstein, but acknowledged
• 46:18
Speaker 1: it was likely that some residents knew what was going
• 46:20
Speaker 1: on at Epstein's little Saint James private island within our
• 46:25
Speaker 1: local political arena. We have turned a blind eye to
• 46:28
Speaker 1: Epstein because we too benefited from his sex trafficking enterprise.
• 46:33
Speaker 1: To put it bluntly, the Virgin Islands of the United
• 46:36
Speaker 1: States aided and abetted Jeffrey Epstein, that's without question. And
• 46:42
Speaker 1: the author of this article, like I said, was Janelle Sorah.
• 46:47
Speaker 1: She is a former educator, senator and a candidate for
• 46:50
Speaker 1: Lieutenant governor in the US Virgin Islands. But she summed
• 46:54
Speaker 1: it up correctly. All of these people involved here, from
• 46:58
Speaker 1: Governor Bryan, the old politicians who were in charge of
• 47:01
Speaker 1: facilitating all of this for Epstein, they have some audacity
• 47:05
Speaker 1: and some nerve to think that they're going to secure
• 47:08
Speaker 1: a bag, and the fact that they've already been able
• 47:11
Speaker 1: to get one hundred and five million dollars out of
• 47:13
Speaker 1: all of this just blows my mind. What about all
• 47:16
Speaker 1: of those unnamed girls that were abused by Epstein that
• 47:20
Speaker 1: don't have any of the publicity that some of the
• 47:22
Speaker 1: more well known survivors have, so there should be no
• 47:26
Speaker 1: money left over for them because the US Virgin Islands
• 47:29
Speaker 1: had to come in and get one hundred and five
• 47:31
Speaker 1: million dollars. I just don't find that to be right,
• 47:35
  Speaker 1: and I don't think it's a good look. If you're
• 47:39
Speaker 1: interested in getting justice, that's one thing. But if you're
• 47:42
Speaker 1: gonna sit here and try and secure that bag and
• 47:45
Speaker 1: then Thumbyer knows that justice at the same time, well
• 47:48
  Speaker 1: we're gonna have a problem with that. And that's what's
• 47:51
Speaker 1: happening down here in the US Virgin Islands. Everybody knew
• 47:55
Speaker 1: what was going on. Everybody knew that Jeffrey Epstein was
• 47:58
Speaker 1: coming to that island to molest people, and the local
• 48:01
Speaker 1: politicians at the time they didn't do shit to stop it.
• 48:05
Speaker 1: In fact, they looked the other way while their palm
• 48:07
Speaker 1: was out, and now they have the audacity to try
• 48:11
Speaker 1: and act like they're entitled to some money. That's just
• 48:14
Speaker 1: insane to me, and they shouldn't be entitled to another dime.
• 48:17
Speaker 1: In fact, anybody who helped Jeffrey Epstein, anybody who helped
• 48:22
Speaker 1: enable Jeffrey Epstein, and anybody who was involved with him
• 48:25
Speaker 1: on this island previously, they should be investigated. And if
• 48:29
Speaker 1: they were involved in any kind of financial mouthfeasance or
• 48:32
Speaker 1: other crimes, they should be prosecuted. Unfortunately, we all know
• 48:37
Speaker 1: that's never going to occur, all right, folks, Well that's
• 48:40
Speaker 1: gonna do it for this one. All of the information
• 48:43
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 48:45
  Speaker 1: description box.
