Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, the truth about sorority life, with
• 0:04
Speaker 1: your hosts, me, Gia Giudice.
• 0:06
Speaker 2: Daisy Kent, and Jennifer Fessler. Hey guys, welcome back to
• 0:14
Speaker 2: another episode of Dirty Rush. I am Sally, and today
• 0:17
Speaker 2: we have Hunter Haig with us, one of my longtime friends.
• 0:22
Speaker 2: We first met on Clayton's season of The Bachelor, and
• 0:27
Speaker 2: we've kind of kept up with our friendship ever since.
• 0:30
Speaker 2: How are you doing, Hunter? Doing great. Excited to be here. Yeah,
• 0:34
Speaker 2: I'm excited to have you here too. I honestly didn't
• 0:36
Speaker 2: know it was you. And then when they said you,
• 0:38
Speaker 2: I was like, oh my God, wait, that's my friend.
• 0:42
Speaker 3: You're like, wait a second. I actually know her.
• 0:43
Speaker 2: Wait a second. I love her. Okay, so you went
• 0:47
Speaker 2: to the College of Charleston.
• 0:49
  Speaker 3: Yes.
• 0:49
Speaker 2: Remind me what sorority you were in.
• 0:53
Speaker 3: I was in Zeta Tau.
• 0:56
Speaker 2: Okay, I'm actually curious about how sorority... is in charleston
• 1:00
Speaker 2: because obviously i live there but i don't know anything about.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: It yeah so honestly it's college charleston's one of those
• 1:09
Speaker 1: schools that you don't have to.
• 1:10
Speaker 3: Be in a sorority or fraternity.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: But it is it's better to be i guess yeah
• 1:17
Speaker 1: um whereas i feel like usc or clemson like you
• 1:21
Speaker 1: absolutely should be in greek life um college charleston's kind
• 1:24
Speaker 1: of like new you could should, but like, it doesn't
• 1:27
Speaker 1: really matter if you don't. Cause there's like a whole
• 1:29
Speaker 1: nother like side of that school.
• 1:31
Speaker 2: Is it still really like big though? Like is rush
• 1:34
Speaker 2: big in, in Charleston? Cause I feel like y'all don't
• 1:37
Speaker 2: have a football, like there's no football team. So like
• 1:39
Speaker 2: that kind of throws me off.
• 1:40
Speaker 1: You know, I'm a football girly, no Greek life at all.
• 1:46
  Speaker 2: That's all I feel.
• 1:48
  Speaker 3: No, I know.
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: No, I know.
• 1:49
Speaker 3: But, um, yeah, no, it actually like, it's still really big.
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: Like There's, I would say, I don't remember exactly how
• 1:57
Speaker 1: many people went through Rush or recruitment, but I think
• 2:01
Speaker 1: it was something like 25% of the school or at
• 2:05
Speaker 1: least of like the freshman class or something like that.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: I could be making this up totally, but still really big.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: We still have like a huge bidet, all of that
• 2:14
Speaker 1: good stuff. We just don't do it in a stadium
• 2:16
Speaker 1: because we don't have a stadium. But we do have
• 2:19
Speaker 1: like a sorority row, all of that. I actually lived there.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: In the Zeta house.
• 2:23
  Speaker 2: Oh, you did?
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 2:24
Speaker 2: I don't even think I've seen the houses in Charleston.
• 2:28
Speaker 2: I need to, like, take a ride down.
• 2:29
  Speaker 3: Yeah, you should.
• 2:31
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 2:31
Speaker 3: It's on Cumming Street.
• 2:32
Speaker 2: Oh. Oh, I've not seen that. I don't know.
• 2:37
Speaker 3: It's near, like, Meeting Street. It's Meeting Street and Cumming Street.
• 2:42
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 2:42
  Speaker 3: Like, intersections.
• 2:43
  Speaker 2: So.
• 2:44
Speaker 3: Uh, there's like the Zeta House, Edie Pie, Katie.
• 2:48
Speaker 1: There's actually a TikTok that's going viral right now on
• 2:52
Speaker 1: Sorority Row at College of Charleston. And people are like, wow,
• 2:55
Speaker 1: this looks like a zombie apocalypse.
• 2:57
Speaker 2: Wait, was this the Uber driver? Yes. I saw that video. Yeah.
• 3:01
Speaker 2: It looked like absolute chaos.
• 3:04
Speaker 3: Oh, it looks crazy.
• 3:05
Speaker 2: I mean, when I was, I guess it was still
• 3:08
Speaker 2: crazy because I rushed to Alabama. So I went to
• 3:12
Speaker 2: Alabama my freshman year, which I think you knew that.
• 3:15
Speaker 2: And I rushed Alabama, but I rushed KD because I
• 3:20
Speaker 2: knew I wanted KD at Carolina and I knew I
• 3:22
Speaker 2: was going to transfer. Because I actually really liked Kayo
• 3:28
Speaker 2: at Alabama, but I, yeah, I loved the girls at Kayo,
• 3:33
Speaker 2: but I ended up doing KD because I knew that
• 3:36
Speaker 2: that's what I wanted at South Carolina.
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 3:38
Speaker 2: And then you just get like voted in when you
• 3:40
Speaker 2: go to Carolina. So that was like easy, but Russia,
• 3:43
Speaker 2: Bama was crazy. I mean, I got arrested on bid day.
• 3:48
Speaker 3: Sally, why does that not surprise me at all?
• 3:54
Speaker 2: I mean, I had the judge or whoever had my
• 3:57
Speaker 2: case told me, he was like, there was one thing
• 3:59
Speaker 2: that stood out to me in your case. He was like,
• 4:01
Speaker 2: you had Sharpie. And like, it was just like Kappa
• 4:05
Speaker 2: Delta written all over your body. Like my forehead, my chest,
• 4:09
Speaker 2: my arms. He's like, it's like you passed out. And
• 4:11
Speaker 2: I was like, no, I let them do that. I
• 4:13
Speaker 2: was really excited to be in KD. Like they thought
• 4:15
Speaker 2: that I had passed out and people just drew on me.
• 4:17
Speaker 2: But that was not the case. But it was really
• 4:21
Speaker 2: scary because I'm going to tell a little story. But
• 4:24
Speaker 2: on bid day, I got a DM or I think
• 4:28
Speaker 2: it was like a Facebook message. And it was from
• 4:31
Speaker 2: one of the girls that rushed me at Alabama. And
• 4:33
Speaker 2: it was one of my favorite girls. And she said, hey,
• 4:36
Speaker 2: did you put Katie as number one? And I was like,
• 4:40
Speaker 2: you weren't really supposed to tell people. I said, yes.
• 4:43
Speaker 2: And that's, didn't hear from her again. And then that
• 4:47
Speaker 2: night we have people knocking on our doors. They take
• 4:49
Speaker 2: us from my dorm room, put us in the back
• 4:52
Speaker 2: of a car. We're like blindfolded. We have no idea
• 4:54
Speaker 2: where we're going. I'm like, great. They're going to go
• 4:56
Speaker 2: make me sit in some cow shit or something. Like
• 4:58
Speaker 2: the crazy stories that you hear about Rush. And I...
• 5:02
Speaker 2: They like take our blindfolds off and there's this huge
• 5:05
Speaker 2: house and the doors open. It's like this huge frat party.
• 5:09
Speaker 2: And it's like, welcome to Haiti. And this was the
• 5:11
Speaker 2: day before bid day.
• 5:13
Speaker 3: Before you even knew?
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 5:14
Speaker 2: Super, super illegal in the college world. But I was like, yeah,
• 5:20
Speaker 2: I picked the right one. I was like, this already
• 5:24
Speaker 2: knows how to party. But yeah, it was crazy. But
• 5:29
Speaker 2: what did y'all have? Like, what did y'all call it?
• 5:31
Speaker 2: Like the week of... They call it work week now.
• 5:34
Speaker 3: I think it's just rush week.
• 5:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I think too. And we like, did
• 5:38
Speaker 2: y'all do a lot of training? Because it looks super
• 5:41
  Speaker 2: intense now. Yeah.
• 5:43
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: So I will not like training, but we had like,
• 5:47
Speaker 1: we had like a welcome like situation that would happen
• 5:50
Speaker 1: in the arena, like for basketball. And it was just
• 5:54
Speaker 1: kind of like going through the ins and outs of like,
• 5:57
Speaker 1: you're going to be assigned to a Pi Chi, which
• 5:58
Speaker 1: I understand those are like row something at other schools.
• 6:02
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 6:03
Speaker 3: But you have like your like leader.
• 6:05
Speaker 1: And then they were like, okay, you're going to want
• 6:07
Speaker 1: to like take notes after each house that you go to.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: So they would give us like allotted time after each
• 6:13
Speaker 1: house that we went to, to write down what we.
• 6:15
  Speaker 3: Felt about them. That's all I really remember. I don't
• 6:19
Speaker 3: think there was like extensive training.
• 6:21
Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what are we training for? Well, no,
• 6:25
Speaker 2: like when you're in the sorority and you're preparing for
• 6:28
Speaker 2: the girls to come through your house. Like we had
• 6:30
Speaker 2: to like learn dances. Oh, when you are recruiting. Yeah,
• 6:33
Speaker 2: when we were going through Rush.
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: No.
• 6:37
  Speaker 3: I have a confession.
• 6:37
Speaker 2: No, wait, no. When we were pushing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, recruiting.
• 6:42
  Speaker 2: Thank you.
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 6:43
Speaker 2: Did you have like star girls?
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: Yes.
• 6:46
Speaker 2: We had star girls that we had to like rush hard.
• 6:48
Speaker 3: We had a slideshow.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Yes, we had a slideshow that we would all sit
• 6:52
Speaker 1: And watch. And they'd be like, all right, this girl.
• 6:55
Speaker 1: And I think they were called star girls. But they would, like, have, like,
• 6:58
Speaker 1: multiple pictures of this girl. They'd have her name. They'd have, like,
• 7:02
Speaker 1: where she went to school, like, for high school, I guess.
• 7:05
Speaker 1: Not that that really matters. And then it would be, like,
• 7:07
Speaker 1: these are her extracurriculars. Like, this is her involvement in
• 7:12
Speaker 1: community service and all of that kind of stuff. And
• 7:15
Speaker 1: then we'd have to rush them extra hard.
• 7:17
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 7:17
Speaker 2: That's how we did it, too.
• 7:18
Speaker 1: But we would have, like, girls that were, like, specifically
• 7:20
Speaker 1: assigned to that girl. yeah because they knew that they
• 7:23
Speaker 1: were like really good at recruiting or whatever yeah.
• 7:25
Speaker 2: And then I remember so vividly they a girl popped
• 7:29
Speaker 2: up on the screen they were like blackballed she slept
• 7:32
Speaker 2: with boyfriend or whatever she's not and we would just
• 7:35
Speaker 2: like barely rush her we would like not talk to
• 7:38
Speaker 2: her which is so mean.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: No that is really mean but so Zeta at CFC
• 7:44
Speaker 1: was not allowed to do that yeah like I guess
• 7:48
Speaker 1: none of us were really allowed to do that.
• 7:50
Speaker 2: But there was girls that you were aware of that, like,
• 7:53
Speaker 2: you didn't really want.
• 7:54
  Speaker 3: We could not.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, like, I mean, and I think more behind the scenes, though, like, of, like,
• 7:58
Speaker 1: me just being out there, like, on the front line.
• 8:02
Speaker 3: Of all of this. I feel like it was more like,
• 8:04
Speaker 3: what is it called? Like, the council? What is that called?
• 8:07
  Speaker 2: Standards. Standards.
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 8:09
  Speaker 3: Okay.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: That's, that's not what I meant though, but that is
• 8:11
Speaker 1: what I meant. That is actually what I was.
• 8:13
  Speaker 2: Trying to say.
• 8:14
Speaker 1: But no, it's when you're, it's like the council, like the,
• 8:18
Speaker 1: like the big people that are actually really involved in
• 8:20
Speaker 1: the sorority. Yeah. Those were the people that I feel
• 8:22
Speaker 1: like were like doing like, feel like, like God's work,
• 8:26
Speaker 1: I guess, for making sure that girls were weeded out.
• 8:28
Speaker 3: That should have been.
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 8:30
  Speaker 3: I don't know if that's God's work, but that's more
• 8:32
Speaker 3: of like devil's work. Maybe.
• 8:33
Speaker 2: For sure. I think that that was just like crazy
• 8:36
Speaker 2: to look back on and, Yeah, I'm about to. Okay,
• 8:40
Speaker 2: what are we, like, what are your opinions on these outfits?
• 8:42
Speaker 2: Can I show her? I mean, that's bad.
• 8:48
Speaker 3: Oh, no, I hate that. I really hate that.
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 8:52
Speaker 3: Like, the metallic bow shirt.
• 8:55
  Speaker 2: I mean, it's literally, like, 1950s housewives. Like, I'm like,
• 9:00
Speaker 2: what the fuck are you wearing?
• 9:02
Speaker 3: Like, I legit, like, I feel like I'd see that at, like,
• 9:04
Speaker 3: what is that like Comic-Con?
• 9:06
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 9:06
Speaker 3: Like the like cosplay thing.
• 9:08
  Speaker 2: I hate a bow. I hate a bow. Like a
• 9:11
  Speaker 2: big bow.
• 9:12
Speaker 1: I actually hate pink and a pink bow is even worse.
• 9:15
Speaker 2: I mean, this is just, I would never be caught
• 9:18
Speaker 2: dead in this outfit.
• 9:19
Speaker 3: The one on the left didn't feel as offensive.
• 9:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that one's not as bad. But I will
• 9:24
Speaker 2: say I'm on the side of TikTok that's like hot.
• 9:29
Speaker 2: Like I'm watching these girls' videos and I'm like, I
• 9:34
Speaker 2: didn't look like that in college. Like they look like
• 9:37
Speaker 2: they should be out of college. Like no wonder all
• 9:41
Speaker 2: these guys are attracted to like younger.
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: Girl.
• 9:46
Speaker 2: I mean, they look like they're our age and they
• 9:48
Speaker 2: dress hot. I don't know. I'm like watching these and
• 9:53
  Speaker 2: I was like, I wish I was in a sorority
• 9:54
Speaker 2: right now because it looks fun. Like the TikTok videos
• 9:57
  Speaker 2: look fun.
• 9:59
  Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
• 10:00
Speaker 2: Did y'all make videos we didn't make videos oh we
• 10:03
Speaker 2: made videos you did yeah we did.
• 10:06
Speaker 1: There was like more towards the end of my time
• 10:08
Speaker 1: but there were like the like star girls who would
• 10:13
Speaker 1: be featured in our videos yeah um And like our Instagram,
• 10:19
Speaker 1: like social media was already like pretty big at that point.
• 10:22
Speaker 1: It just wasn't as big. Like we weren't, we weren't
• 10:25
Speaker 1: doing like freaking stunts and like tumbling.
• 10:27
Speaker 2: They're getting crazy brand deals. I mean, these girls in college,
• 10:31
Speaker 2: these sororities are getting like, I saw, you know, the,
• 10:35
Speaker 2: the poppy one, which was big. Cause they had the
• 10:38
Speaker 2: love Island guy that lives in Charleston there. And then
• 10:41
Speaker 2: I also saw another one that was like a clothing
• 10:44
Speaker 2: company that they dressed all the girls.
• 10:46
Speaker 3: That's, Crazy to me.
• 10:47
Speaker 1: Cause they just, they just know that like brands know
• 10:50
Speaker 1: that it's going to like do well.
• 11:06
Speaker 2: Let's talk about like, when did rush become a full
• 11:09
Speaker 2: on marketing campaign? Because Bama, they had a whole ass
• 11:14
Speaker 2: like Nike campaign. I'm like, these girls are making money
• 11:20
Speaker 2: on their TikToks from doing Rush, which is insane, but awesome. Awesome.
• 11:26
Speaker 2: At the same time.
• 11:27
Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, like, good for them, but like.
• 11:30
Speaker 2: Not that I feel like they need the money if
• 11:31
Speaker 2: they're going to Bama, but. True, true, true. Everyone was
• 11:35
Speaker 2: so rich when I went there. I was like a
• 11:36
Speaker 2: fish out of water. No, literally. Literally.
• 11:39
Speaker 1: But whenever we went through a rush, I feel like
• 11:41
Speaker 1: everything was supposed to be so hush hush. And like,
• 11:44
Speaker 1: you're going through recruitment, but like, you're not allowed to
• 11:46
Speaker 1: talk about it. You're not allowed to talk about who
• 11:48
Speaker 1: you're going to prep. You're not allowed to talk about anything.
• 11:50
Speaker 1: And if you do, then you're going to be blackballed
• 11:52
Speaker 1: or you're going to be dropped from every sorority. Like,
• 11:54
Speaker 1: that's just the way that it was. And I know
• 11:57
Speaker 1: had I posted, because like, like I said, social media
• 12:00
Speaker 1: was already like, obviously.
• 12:02
Speaker 2: I don't remember it being that big when we were
• 12:05
Speaker 2: in school. Oh, yeah.
• 12:06
Speaker 3: Like Instagram had like dropped.
• 12:08
Speaker 1: I mean, at this point, I feel like I was
• 12:10
Speaker 1: like using it more as like a filter, like this
• 12:13
Speaker 1: situation than I was like an actual platform.
• 12:16
Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean, you remember like YouTube was big.
• 12:20
  Speaker 3: And so I.
• 12:21
Speaker 1: Feel like I unfortunately was somewhat of a YouTuber.
• 12:26
Speaker 3: And I feel like if I would have been like, hey,
• 12:29
Speaker 3: like I'm going through a sorority rush at College of Charleston,
• 12:31
  Speaker 3: like immediately.
• 12:32
Speaker 2: Canceled. People would make fun of us. And now I
• 12:36
Speaker 2: am like, I'm on Rush Talk all day. Like if
• 12:41
  Speaker 2: I'm doom scrolling, that's what I'm on. I love it.
• 12:43
Speaker 2: But the girl, I mean, it's just, do you think
• 12:46
Speaker 2: they have the girls in the front that are like
• 12:49
Speaker 2: on the dance team or used to be on the
• 12:51
Speaker 2: dance team in college? Because they're like really good. And
• 12:54
Speaker 2: I think brands are noticing that this is, you know,
• 12:58
Speaker 2: everyone gets excited for Rush Week because of TikTok. Like
• 13:02
Speaker 2: all my friends are on that. So I feel like
• 13:04
Speaker 2: it's good for brands because not only is one girl
• 13:06
Speaker 2: talking about this brand, it's like the whole damn sorority,
• 13:10
Speaker 2: you know? So they're probably like, this is way better
• 13:13
Speaker 2: for us, a better bank for our buck. I mean, honestly,
• 13:16
Speaker 2: I think it's smart for brands to go after Rush Talk.
• 13:19
Speaker 3: No, I think so too.
• 13:21
Speaker 1: And so like to bring up your point of like
• 13:23
Speaker 1: when this started, the first time that I ever saw
• 13:26
Speaker 1: any of this happening and it really became a thing,
• 13:28
Speaker 1: I think was like Kylan going through. Oh, yeah.
• 13:32
Speaker 2: Whatever happened to her?
• 13:34
  Speaker 3: Going through recruitment.
• 13:35
Speaker 2: She went through something.
• 13:37
Speaker 3: She chopped her hair. I know that. She has like
• 13:39
  Speaker 3: a bob.
• 13:40
Speaker 2: That's not what I meant. But I guess the chopped
• 13:43
Speaker 2: hair came after she went through something. I don't know.
• 13:46
Speaker 2: But didn't she like drop her sorority?
• 13:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe that was correlating.
• 13:50
Speaker 2: Didn't she like drop her sorority or something? I don't know. No,
• 13:54
  Speaker 2: I don't. I don't remember.
• 13:56
Speaker 3: I think she went Zeta. I could be wrong, but
• 13:58
Speaker 3: I think she went Zeta.
• 13:59
Speaker 1: And she is like more focused on, of course, broadcaster.
• 14:04
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 14:05
Speaker 3: But I think she's still like an A plus student
• 14:09
  Speaker 3: at her sorority.
• 14:10
Speaker 2: I used to love watching her TikToks.
• 14:11
  Speaker 3: I think Izzy.
• 14:13
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 14:13
Speaker 3: Izzy. Is that her sister?
• 14:15
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 14:15
Speaker 1: So her sister went through recruitment and didn't like pick
• 14:21
Speaker 1: any of them or they didn't pick her.
• 14:22
Speaker 3: I'm not really sure. There has been like speculation about both.
• 14:25
Speaker 2: Dude, it's really bad for your, I mean, it's really
• 14:28
Speaker 2: bad for your mental health. I think rush is crazy.
• 14:31
Speaker 2: I mean, I remember going into the five new house
• 14:35
Speaker 2: at Alabama and they were like, don't touch the railing
• 14:40
Speaker 2: on the staircase or else they're going to drop you.
• 14:43
Speaker 2: And I remember walking down in my damn tall ass heels,
• 14:47
Speaker 2: And I'd touch it for support. And then I was like,
• 14:49
Speaker 2: and I remember the girl looking, she like side-eyed my hand.
• 14:54
Speaker 2: And the only sorority that dropped me, I'm you.
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: I'm you.
• 14:58
Speaker 2: Because I touched the fucking railing. Yep. I'm not kidding.
• 15:02
Speaker 3: The only sorority to drop me was Katie. Sucker.
• 15:06
Speaker 2: I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. We would have welcomed
• 15:09
Speaker 2: you at South Carolina.
• 15:10
  Speaker 3: Oh my God.
• 15:12
Speaker 1: No, I literally, I remember though, Katie was like, at
• 15:16
Speaker 1: Charleston at least was one of those sororities that was like, what.
• 15:20
Speaker 3: Does your dad do?
• 15:22
Speaker 1: Oh, and you're like, Oh, what does that matter? Like
• 15:26
Speaker 1: they were that type 80 pie though. And I kind of,
• 15:30
Speaker 1: I kind of vibed with 80 pie, honestly, but they
• 15:33
Speaker 1: were the ones that like you've probably heard of this
• 15:37
Speaker 1: at other like sorority, other schools and stuff, but like
• 15:40
Speaker 1: where they would rank you behind your back. Cause you
• 15:43
Speaker 1: know how like we had to put our hands like
• 15:46
Speaker 1: on the back and then it would be like a one, two, three,
• 15:49
Speaker 1: four or five or whatever. I always heard that about
• 15:52
Speaker 1: 80 pie. I don't know if that was true, but
• 15:54
Speaker 1: I would like try to feel like how many fingers
• 15:56
Speaker 1: were on my back.
• 15:58
Speaker 2: It's crazy how different. how different each sorority is at
• 16:02
Speaker 2: every school, you know, like it's just so insane. I
• 16:06
Speaker 2: do remember rushing this one girl. I'm not going to
• 16:08
Speaker 2: say her name, but like the sorority wanted to drop her.
• 16:12
Speaker 2: And I'm like, I fought for her so hard because
• 16:16
Speaker 2: she was just like really easy to talk to. I
• 16:18
Speaker 2: loved her. And they were like, we're dropping her. And
• 16:20
Speaker 2: I fought so hard. She ended up being president of
• 16:24
  Speaker 2: our sorority.
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 16:25
Speaker 2: And I was like, I told y'all this bitch was cool.
• 16:26
Speaker 3: You were her advocate.
• 16:27
  Speaker 2: Yeah, I was.
• 16:28
  Speaker 3: That's great.
• 16:29
Speaker 2: Okay. How many free products are sorority girls actually getting
• 16:33
Speaker 2: during work week, do we think, and recruitment? Because brands
• 16:37
Speaker 2: like Poppy are selling, like, I mean, hundreds or thousands
• 16:42
Speaker 2: of custom cans to these people. I bet they're getting, like,
• 16:46
Speaker 2: offered a bunch of stuff.
• 16:47
Speaker 3: Are we talking, like, for Poppy, or are we talking about, like,
• 16:50
  Speaker 3: for brands?
• 16:50
Speaker 2: For everything. For everything. Like, how many free products do
• 16:54
Speaker 2: we think that they're actually getting?
• 16:55
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 16:56
Speaker 3: Okay, because think about it. There's definitely makeup products that
• 16:58
  Speaker 3: are being sent.
• 16:59
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 16:59
Speaker 3: Because I feel like that's like the first thing to
• 17:00
  Speaker 3: be sent.
• 17:01
Speaker 2: I mean, this is like active members are getting stacked
• 17:04
Speaker 2: PR boxes just for being on socials. But I feel
• 17:07
Speaker 2: like that happens in out of shorties too, you know?
• 17:11
Speaker 2: I get PR packages.
• 17:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, but this is like because of.
• 17:18
Speaker 2: I need to go back to college and be in
• 17:20
  Speaker 2: a sorority.
• 17:21
Speaker 3: We're going back to recruitment ASAP.
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 17:23
Speaker 2: Because I feel like I'm a TikTok girly now and
• 17:26
Speaker 2: I would thrive at rush week, work week, whatever.
• 17:29
Speaker 3: You are a TikTok girly now. And I've been loving
• 17:32
Speaker 3: this era for you because remember when I was like
• 17:34
  Speaker 3: super into TikTok?
• 17:35
Speaker 1: Well, like I still like TikTok always, but like I
• 17:38
Speaker 1: would try to get Sally to do TikToks with me
• 17:40
Speaker 1: and she'd be like, No, actually you were always kind
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: of down.
• 17:44
Speaker 3: You were always kind of down.
• 17:44
  Speaker 2: I'm a down bitch.
• 17:45
Speaker 3: I just don't really know a lot about it.
• 17:46
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 17:47
Speaker 2: But now I feel like I've, I've gotten more comfortable
• 17:49
Speaker 2: in my skin. Cause when I, when we were, it
• 17:51
Speaker 2: wasn't normal when we were in college, like the videoing
• 17:55
Speaker 2: and the like synchronized dancing. Yeah. And now I, I
• 18:00
Speaker 2: just want to be, I just want to be young again.
• 18:03
Speaker 3: You know what though?
• 18:04
Speaker 1: I feel like we're seeing the like glamorized side of
• 18:08
Speaker 1: that though. Because there are always people, especially the girls
• 18:12
Speaker 1: going through recruitment that are those types that are like,
• 18:15
Speaker 1: you know, the type of girl that's like, oh, you
• 18:18
Speaker 1: put on makeup every day.
• 18:19
Speaker 3: Like that seems so hard.
• 18:21
Speaker 1: Like I could never do that because like, that's just
• 18:24
Speaker 1: not like, I don't have enough time.
• 18:26
Speaker 3: And you're like, okay, bitch, like maybe you should.
• 18:28
  Speaker 2: That's a backhanded compliment.
• 18:30
  Speaker 3: Exactly.
• 18:31
Speaker 1: And so I feel like those girls still very much
• 18:34
  Speaker 1: exist in this.
• 18:35
Speaker 3: We're just not seeing them.
• 18:37
Speaker 1: So I think they're the people that are like holier
• 18:39
Speaker 1: than thou that are still like, I would never post
• 18:41
Speaker 1: about my recruitment experience, but we're seeing like the like
• 18:45
Speaker 1: glamorized version of like, these people are.
• 18:47
Speaker 3: Getting like brand deals.
• 18:49
Speaker 2: Did you see the girl that apparently blinked in Morse code? SOS?
• 18:55
Speaker 3: How does she even know that?
• 18:56
Speaker 2: Did anybody else see that? Or is that just the
• 18:59
Speaker 2: side of TikTok I'm on? Yeah, she's like in the
• 19:03
Speaker 2: front and center, front and center in a synchronized TikTok on, yeah,
• 19:09
Speaker 2: at Auburn. And she, they slowed the video down because
• 19:12
Speaker 2: people were like, her blinking's off. And it was Morse
• 19:15
Speaker 2: code for SOS. Please, someone help me.
• 19:22
Speaker 3: You know what? I'm a chronic blinker. And I wonder
• 19:24
Speaker 3: if she just like.
• 19:25
Speaker 2: But like Morse code, you don't blink in Morse code.
• 19:29
Speaker 3: I might blink in Morse code. You never know.
• 19:31
Speaker 2: I don't know. The only thing I know about Morse
• 19:34
Speaker 2: code is the movie Interstellar. That movie is so good.
• 19:38
Speaker 2: All right, guys, there's so much more to talk about.
• 19:40
Speaker 2: Stay tuned for part two.
