- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now you'll find out what it all means.
- 0:05Speaker 3: He smarts amone on sevent tenor.
- 0:11Speaker 4: Hey, well it's a rainy day to day. It's gonna
- 0:14Speaker 4: be like this all day. Don't forget. We go off
- 0:17Speaker 4: daylight Saving time Saturday. It's gonna start getting dark like
- 0:20Speaker 4: five point fifteen starting Sunday. Hey, we'll get to the
- 0:23Speaker 4: mayoral race. There have been some changes. We'll get to
- 0:26Speaker 4: that in a moment. We'll get to the World Series.
- 0:27Speaker 4: We'll get to President Trump his trip to China. He's
- 0:31Speaker 4: still on the way back. Won't get back here till
- 0:33Speaker 4: about three in the afternoon. We'll get to CBS firing
- 0:37Speaker 4: lots of people, and a whole lot more coming up.
- 0:41Speaker 4: We'll get to Jerome Powell and all of that. So
- 0:43Speaker 4: the mayoral race. Things are changing again, now, I know.
- 0:47Speaker 4: I said that yesterday, and yesterday the news was, according
- 0:50Speaker 4: to the polls that had come out, that Cuomo was
- 0:53Speaker 4: narrowing the gap. Well, according to the polls that have
- 0:57Speaker 4: come out since in the last twenty four hours, the
- 1:00Speaker 4: gap is widening and Mom Donnie is increasing his lead
- 1:05Speaker 4: dramatically over Cuomo. Now you're saying, well, how could it
- 1:08Speaker 4: flip flop like that. Well, the problem is we haven't
- 1:11Speaker 4: had any real polls ever in this mayoral race. We've
- 1:14Speaker 4: got all these junk polls, these cheap polls, these college polls,
- 1:18Speaker 4: these media polls. They're not very good and they're not
- 1:21Speaker 4: very reliable. But the major polls, the major polling companies
- 1:25Speaker 4: and the top pollsters. Normally, the campaigns behind the scenes
- 1:29Speaker 4: bring in the best posters, you know, McLaughlin and Trafalgar,
- 1:33Speaker 4: those kind of guys. They haven't been spending the money.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Nobody's been doing the polling, so we're relying on these
- 1:38Speaker 4: junk poles and again they're not very accurate. But the
- 1:42Speaker 4: latest that have come out in the last twenty four
- 1:44Speaker 4: hours Emerson College poll and a Maris College poll. Again,
- 1:50Speaker 4: these are the These are colleges that are they're too
- 1:53Speaker 4: cheap to have a football team, so to get attention,
- 1:56Speaker 4: they start a polling company and instead of having to
- 1:59Speaker 4: build a football stadium and spend one hundred million on
- 2:02Speaker 4: a football team, you spend a dollar fifty and you
- 2:04Speaker 4: give some students some iPads and you take your polls.
- 2:07Speaker 4: But so they're not very reliable polls. But in one
- 2:11Speaker 4: Mamdanni has increased his lead to sixteen points, forty eight
- 2:15Speaker 4: to thirty two over Cuomo, forty eight to thirty two
- 2:19Speaker 4: over Cuomo. In the other one, Mamdanmi's lead is twenty
- 2:24Speaker 4: five points. He's leading Cuomo fifty to twenty five, fifty
- 2:29Speaker 4: to twenty five. Now and curtisly well, we he'd be
- 2:33Speaker 4: the best mayor of all the bunch, the best guy
- 2:36Speaker 4: in the race. But he's not. You know this, Curtis
- 2:39Speaker 4: must get out. It's forget that. Forget that. Even if
- 2:42Speaker 4: Curtis is out, it doesn't it doesn't help Cuomo. He
- 2:46Speaker 4: still would be way behind. With Curtis out, Cuomo would
- 2:49Speaker 4: still be behind. Now if you look into the real
- 2:53Speaker 4: detail of the polling, the problem is Cuomo's unfavorability. His
- 2:58Speaker 4: unfavorability is fifty five percent. People don't like him. They
- 3:03Speaker 4: actually can't stand him for the things he did as governor.
- 3:06Speaker 4: He did horrible things as governor. People felt the effects.
- 3:10Speaker 4: He created the crime wave with all his no bail,
- 3:12Speaker 4: no jail and closed the prisons and all his nonsense.
- 3:16Speaker 4: He killed a lot of people's relatives and nursing homes.
- 3:19Speaker 4: He drove their electric bills up, closing Indian point and
- 3:22Speaker 4: go on and on. He's the guy that picked Kathy
- 3:25Speaker 4: Hochel for us, so a lot of people. The unfavorability
- 3:29Speaker 4: rating on Quomo is just so high, just very very
- 3:34Speaker 4: very high. It's hard to overcome that no matter who
- 3:36Speaker 4: drops out of the race. Now, the other problem is
- 3:39Speaker 4: Mom Donnie's favorability is still very high. His likability is
- 3:44Speaker 4: fifty seven percent in these polls. That's huge, fifty seven
- 3:50Speaker 4: percent likability. Now here's the real problem. To stop Mom Donnie,
- 3:55Speaker 4: it's not about Curtis getting out of the race. To
- 3:57Speaker 4: stop Mondannie, and John McLaughlin told them in the beginning,
- 4:00Speaker 4: and he's a real expert on this stuff. To stop Mondanni,
- 4:04Speaker 4: you needed the big, big, big, big donors to put
- 4:08Speaker 4: the money into these super packs, and the super PACs
- 4:11Speaker 4: needed to run ads around the clock everywhere, TV, social
- 4:15Speaker 4: media everywhere, bombard people with these ads exposing every bad
- 4:19Speaker 4: thing about Mom Donnie, all the bad video, all the
- 4:22Speaker 4: bad things he said, all the stuff. They had to
- 4:25Speaker 4: see these ads around the clock for weeks. Well, that's
- 4:29Speaker 4: normally what happens, but in this case, the big donors
- 4:32Speaker 4: didn't do it. They were afraid to do it. They
- 4:35Speaker 4: were afraid because your name will be attached to that pack,
- 4:37Speaker 4: you can trace the contributors. And they didn't want to
- 4:41Speaker 4: offend Mom Donnie. They were worried he would win and
- 4:43Speaker 4: they wanted to have a good relationship with him. So
- 4:46Speaker 4: the big donors failed you in this race by not
- 4:49Speaker 4: funding those super packs, those packs that would have run
- 4:52Speaker 4: all the ads, And that's the real problem. Mike Bloomberg
- 4:58Speaker 4: has jumped in at the last moment yesterday, late yesterday
- 5:01Speaker 4: announcing he's endorsing Cuomo. Now you might say, didn't he
- 5:06Speaker 4: do that two months ago? Yes, but he's doing it again,
- 5:10Speaker 4: second endorsement at Cuomo. He also kicked in one point
- 5:14Speaker 4: five million to the campaign. He wrote a check to
- 5:17Speaker 4: Cuomo for one point five million for his campaign yesterday. Now,
- 5:21Speaker 4: some people will tell you, people that know Bloomberg will say, well,
- 5:25Speaker 4: you know, he's very meticulous with the data. He studies data,
- 5:30Speaker 4: so he obviously saw that Cuomo had a chance, and
- 5:34Speaker 4: that's why he jumped in with the one point five million.
- 5:39Speaker 4: But there are other people that know Bloomberg that'll tell
- 5:42Speaker 4: you one point five million is like a quarter for us,
- 5:46Speaker 4: It's like nothing. It's a very low contribution from him.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So they didn't. They interpret that that he doesn't think
- 5:54Speaker 4: Cloma was gonna win. He doesn't want to waste ten
- 5:56Speaker 4: million on this. So the fact that it's a low
- 5:58Speaker 4: amount by Bloomberg standards might mean that he's not too
- 6:02Speaker 4: confident in Cuomo. Now, don't listen to anybody who gives
- 6:06Speaker 4: you this anecdotal evidence. You know, people will tell you
- 6:10Speaker 4: everywhere I look, there's yard signs, it doesn't mean anything.
- 6:12Speaker 4: It's anecdotal. Or hey, I went to the poll and
- 6:15Speaker 4: it was the longest line. Well that's just one polling place.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Doesn't mean anything. But we do know for a fact
- 6:21Speaker 4: that voter turnout in the early voting is huge. It's
- 6:24Speaker 4: still every day about five hundred percent more than normal.
- 6:28Speaker 4: It's like five times normal. Now some think that will
- 6:31Speaker 4: help Cuomo. Some think that Mamdani has energized his crazy
- 6:37Speaker 4: lunatic left wing base and they're coming out like crazy.
- 6:42Speaker 4: But it is high. It is very, very very high.
- 6:46Speaker 4: If the turnout, which normally is you know, the blagger
- 6:51Speaker 4: will get elected with m Fagoto, was twenty three percent
- 6:53Speaker 4: turnout something like that, and we've had these elections twenty
- 6:57Speaker 4: two percent turnout, twenty eight percent. But in the good
- 6:59Speaker 4: old day when Rudy got elected, you had to turn
- 7:02Speaker 4: out like a seventy eight percent. If we can get
- 7:05Speaker 4: back to that, that could change things. And it looks
- 7:07Speaker 4: like we're headed that way with huge, huge, huge voter turnout.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Now there's video coming out. You know, you've seen these
- 7:15Speaker 4: eclipse of Mam Donnie said something horrible. A year ago,
- 7:18Speaker 4: he said something disgusting. Two years ago, he said something
- 7:21Speaker 4: anti Israel, anti Semitic, three years ago, you see these
- 7:25Speaker 4: all the time, said something bad about America, something like
- 7:30Speaker 4: you've seen these clips all along. There's a new batch
- 7:33Speaker 4: of Mam Donnie from years ago. He was speaking at
- 7:35Speaker 4: rallies back then, not to run from mayor. He was
- 7:39Speaker 4: a new assemblyman, but he was running around speaking at
- 7:41Speaker 4: these anti Semitic, crazy left wing, awful rallies. And he
- 7:46Speaker 4: wasn't dressed like he's dressed now. He wasn't in a
- 7:49Speaker 4: suit and tie. He was dressed like in protester garb,
- 7:52Speaker 4: dressed like a protester, hair was much longer, scragglier, but again,
- 7:57Speaker 4: dressed like a protester and screaming, not the polished delivery
- 8:01Speaker 4: he's using now. Screaming and a lot of his antisemitic,
- 8:05Speaker 4: defund Israel, yelling and screaming about Israel. But it's ugly stuff.
- 8:11Speaker 4: It's really ugly stuff. So there's piles of that video
- 8:15Speaker 4: that we never saw before now coming out in the
- 8:17Speaker 4: New York Post has a big story on it today.
- 8:19Speaker 4: You'll start singing it tonight on TV. Some of this
- 8:22Speaker 4: video from these rallies. I don't know if it changes anything.
- 8:26Speaker 4: We've already seen bad stuff from Mom Donnie. Everybody's aware
- 8:30Speaker 4: of his past comments and all the crazy stuff. So
- 8:33Speaker 4: I don't know if it changes anything. And it's way
- 8:35Speaker 4: too late to really make a difference in anything. So again,
- 8:39Speaker 4: I can't tell you what to believe. These polls show
- 8:43Speaker 4: an absolute total victory, maybe even a landslide from Mom Donnie.
- 8:48Speaker 4: And again, it has nothing to do with Curtis. You
- 8:51Speaker 4: can yell and scream. The Curtis has to get other race.
- 8:53Speaker 4: It's not going to help Cuomo in any way. According
- 8:55Speaker 4: to all these poles, and again they're all junk poles.
- 8:58Speaker 4: You can't rely on them too much. But we'll keep
- 9:02Speaker 4: on it for you. We'll get back to the mayoral race.
- 9:05Speaker 4: President Trump successful meeting with President Sheet in China. It
- 9:10Speaker 4: went for hours we seem to have gotten everything we need.
- 9:15Speaker 4: We got the trade deal, we got the fentanyl deal,
- 9:17Speaker 4: we got the deal for them to buy our soybeans,
- 9:20Speaker 4: we got the deal for the chips, we got the
- 9:22Speaker 4: AI deal. Now, a lot of people will point out,
- 9:26Speaker 4: you can make these deals with China, we have in
- 9:28Speaker 4: the past. President Trump did in his first term, and
- 9:30Speaker 4: they just don't stick to him. So it might be
- 9:33Speaker 4: great that we got all these deals, but again they
- 9:37Speaker 4: don't really stick to it. So I don't really know
- 9:39Speaker 4: what it means. But things went very well. They went
- 9:41Speaker 4: as well as they could go considering and it's just check. Yes,
- 9:45Speaker 4: stock market up two hundred points, so obviously Wall Street
- 9:49Speaker 4: happy with these deals. It looked pretty good. The President
- 9:53Speaker 4: is flying back. You know, it's a hell of a
- 9:55Speaker 4: long flight. It's an amazing and long flight to come
- 9:58Speaker 4: back from Korea China. So he'll be on the plane
- 10:02Speaker 4: eighteen hours, twenty hours, whatever the hell it is. He's
- 10:04Speaker 4: going to land today at three o'clock. He'll be back
- 10:08Speaker 4: at three o'clock. He'll get to the White House about
- 10:10Speaker 4: three thirty. At five o'clock. He's got a Halloween party
- 10:14Speaker 4: he's hosting. I don't know why they're doing it tonight.
- 10:16Speaker 4: But tonight's the big Halloween White House party. So he
- 10:19Speaker 4: makes this five country trip, he flies to nine thousand places,
- 10:24Speaker 4: he comes back for twenty hours on the plane, and
- 10:26Speaker 4: then he's going to go right off the plane to
- 10:28Speaker 4: a Halloween party and host it. Now, contrast that with
- 10:32Speaker 4: Joe Biden. Remember once in a while, once a year,
- 10:34Speaker 4: Joe Biden would make some sort of European trip and
- 10:37Speaker 4: after the trip, you wouldn't see him for three weeks.
- 10:40Speaker 4: He'd be bedridden for three weeks just to recover from
- 10:42Speaker 4: the trip. So what a difference. The shutdown continues, Chuck Schumer,
- 10:48Speaker 4: the King of shutdowns, Mister shutdown, Chuck Schumer.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Right now we're staring down the barrel at two crises
- 10:55Speaker 5: at once, a healthcare crisis and a hunger crisis, and
- 10:59Speaker 5: both are caused by one man, Donald Trump.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Which doesn't make any sense if you look at a situation.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Thirteen times they've put it up to a vote. Let's
- 11:08Speaker 4: reopen the government. Everybody will get all their benefits. Let's
- 11:11Speaker 4: reopen for whatever it was, seven weeks, ten weeks, and
- 11:14Speaker 4: give us chance to negotiate. Every single time Schumer had
- 11:18Speaker 4: the Democrats voted down thirteen times. They voted it down
- 11:22Speaker 4: over and over. They just keep voting it down. Speaker
- 11:24Speaker 4: Mike Johnson.
- 11:25Speaker 6: We pray the Senate Democrats come to their senses before
- 11:27Speaker 6: the situation becomes too dire. On Saturday, this gets very real.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yes Saturday, the Snap benefits the forty two million on
- 11:37Speaker 4: food stamps, Now what normally would happen. Forty two million
- 11:41Speaker 4: on foodstamps don't get their benefits. A lot of local
- 11:44Speaker 4: food banks and those sort of charities would step in
- 11:48Speaker 4: and help them and get them what they need to
- 11:51Speaker 4: get through this. We're hearing reports that many food banks
- 11:55Speaker 4: and charities are going to withhold that because they think
- 12:00Speaker 4: it would help Trump. You know, there are a lot
- 12:02Speaker 4: of left wing crazy people running these charities. They don't
- 12:06Speaker 4: want to help Trump, so they're going to withhold doing anything.
- 12:08Speaker 4: So they will try to starve people just because of
- 12:12Speaker 4: their Trump. The arrangement syndrome.
- 12:14Speaker 6: Or air traffic controllers and TSA agents and park rangers
- 12:17Speaker 6: are about to go without a paycheck. You've got families
- 12:20Speaker 6: and children that rely upon SNAP benefits that are going
- 12:24Speaker 6: to go hungry here at the end of the week.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Now with the air traffic controllers. We're not up to
- 12:30Speaker 4: full speed. There's a lot of delays. If you go
- 12:33Speaker 4: to the airport, look up at that big board, like
- 12:35Speaker 4: seventy five eighty percent of the flights are delayed. There's
- 12:37Speaker 4: been some ground steps. This is due to the shutdown,
- 12:40Speaker 4: not enough air traffic controllers. Now the Senate is taking
- 12:44Speaker 4: time off now tomorrow they're all flying home. All these
- 12:47Speaker 4: senators are flying home, so they'll have to go through
- 12:49Speaker 4: the airports and deal with the shutdown. Slow down at
- 12:54Speaker 4: the airports. It's now going to personally affect all of
- 12:57Speaker 4: them this weekend. So let's see if that innovates them
- 13:01Speaker 4: in any way. We don't have the clips that you
- 13:05Speaker 4: heard Schumer speaking. He then took questions from reporters and
- 13:08Speaker 4: he lost his cool. He started yelling and screaming at
- 13:11Speaker 4: the reporters, a sign I think that he's just ridiculously frustrated,
- 13:18Speaker 4: not about the shutdown, but he knows it's the end
- 13:20Speaker 4: of the line for him. He knows he's finished as
- 13:23Speaker 4: a politician, and he just made a mess of his
- 13:27Speaker 4: own career. I mean a hell of a career, but
- 13:29Speaker 4: in these last couple of years, he's just made a
- 13:31Speaker 4: mess of things He's been a disaster as a leader.
- 13:35Speaker 4: You know, when he yells and screams about forty two
- 13:36Speaker 4: million on food stamps. People hear that and they say,
- 13:39Speaker 4: why are forty two million on food stamps? That's like
- 13:43Speaker 4: a monument to the bad leadership of Chuck Schumer. Forty
- 13:47Speaker 4: two million are in food stamps. So anyw, we've got
- 13:50Speaker 4: a lot to get to. Hey, Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
- 13:54Speaker 4: I don't know what to do about this. Should you
- 13:55Speaker 4: not ever buy Ben and Jerry's ever again? They don't
- 13:59Speaker 4: own it anymore. It was bought by Unilever, a big company,
- 14:03Speaker 4: and Unilever's okay, but this Ben and Jerry, these are
- 14:06Speaker 4: two crazy, nut job left wing kooks. They they're in
- 14:10Speaker 4: a big fight with Unilever. Ben and Jerry now opening
- 14:13Speaker 4: their own ice cream company called Magnum ice Cream Company.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Here's what the fight was about. Ben and Jerry wanted
- 14:21Speaker 4: to launch Palestinian themed ice cream. Palestinian themed ice cream.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Unilever said no. Ben and Jerry got all crazy and
- 14:33Speaker 4: opened their own company. They're gonna make it. It's a
- 14:35Speaker 4: watermelon flavored ice cream. Now you might be saying watermelon
- 14:41Speaker 4: ice cream, Well, there's a reason for that. I didn't
- 14:44Speaker 4: know this. Watermelons the symbol of Palestinian solidarity appearing on
- 14:49Speaker 4: signs at protests in social media comments because the fruits red, green, black,
- 14:56Speaker 4: and white colors matched those on the Palestinian flag. So
- 15:00Speaker 4: if you ever hear of a Magnum ice cream company,
- 15:02Speaker 4: stay the hell away. It's Ben and Jerry with their
- 15:07Speaker 4: Palestinian ice cream. Liberal nutjobs will all go crazy buying it,
- 15:12Speaker 4: but they'll then get the punishment. You're gonna have to
- 15:16Speaker 4: eat watermelon ice cream anyway. We'll take some calls in
- 15:19Speaker 4: a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 15:23Speaker 4: is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:28Speaker 6: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 15:31Speaker 6: time and tap the preset button.
- 15:33Speaker 7: Now.
- 15:34Speaker 8: Now back to the Mark Simone show on WOR.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 15:43Speaker 4: seven ten is the number. Let's go to Kathy in
- 15:45Speaker 4: North Carolina. Kathy, how you doing?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Good?
- 15:49Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark. I was curious since you seem to
- 15:52Speaker 9: know many facts that we don't know. Do you know
- 15:55Speaker 9: or do we all know, who the whistleblower was who
- 15:58Speaker 9: dug out the information about the more fraud for Leticia James,
- 16:01Speaker 9: because like, I feel like we owe them a dinner
- 16:04Speaker 9: or something. He would have never found out.
- 16:06Speaker 4: There were several of them. The one who really did
- 16:08Speaker 4: the like, I can't remember his name, I'm blanking out,
- 16:11Speaker 4: but you can look it up. He's on he's got
- 16:13Speaker 4: a website and all that. And then not Eddie and
- 16:17Speaker 4: sam Antar. Remember crazy Eddie, Right, Well, sam Antar went
- 16:24Speaker 4: to jail for white collar you know, financial fraud kind
- 16:28Speaker 4: of a thing, and he has been great ever since.
- 16:32Speaker 4: He's been just digging into you know, a lot of
- 16:35Speaker 4: these are records you can find. He's been digging up
- 16:37Speaker 4: all the records and going through everything. He's been great
- 16:40Speaker 4: at it.
- 16:41Speaker 9: Uh yeah, it's not like a reporter would do that
- 16:43Speaker 9: for us or anything. But thank you, Sam, we owe
- 16:45Speaker 9: your dinner.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Yeah. And there's the other guy. I'm blanking out of
- 16:48Speaker 4: the other guy's name. But these two guys have been
- 16:50Speaker 4: amazing sam Antar. I know you. Roger Stone has played
- 16:55Speaker 4: a lot of tributes to this sam Antar, not just
- 16:58Speaker 4: the Letitia James, but he has done some amazing work
- 17:00Speaker 4: on these other cases. You're right, he's doing what reporters
- 17:03Speaker 4: should do. But they won't do it because it's a Democrat.
- 17:06Speaker 10: They won't Thank you.
- 17:07Speaker 9: For selling me in. I knew you'd know.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I love you, all right, thanks for calling. Yeah, if
- 17:12Speaker 4: it was a Trump guy, these reporters, every reporter, every
- 17:16Speaker 4: network would have done all this work. But instead we
- 17:19Speaker 4: got to rely on these two guys to do it.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Let's go to Steve in Manhattan. Steve, how you.
- 17:23Speaker 11: Doing all right? More New York City ballot initiatives two, three,
- 17:28Speaker 11: and four. We're voting, though it takes the power of
- 17:30Speaker 11: the neighbor.
- 17:30Speaker 4: All right, we don't quite know what you're talking about,
- 17:32Speaker 4: but thanks for Colin. Let's go to Phil in Queens. Phil,
- 17:35Speaker 4: how you're doing.
- 17:37Speaker 12: Hey, I'm doing good. I think Stam also helped break
- 17:39Speaker 12: that billionaire Ponzi scheme also, but listen, I have a
- 17:46Speaker 12: bone to pick with you. Very briefly, Curtis worked as
- 17:49Speaker 12: hard as Trump. Curtis is putting in twenty hour days
- 17:53Speaker 12: for weeks and weeks, and he is going all over
- 17:56Speaker 12: the city. He had offices in the Bronx and Bushwick.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Yeah, we know all this. What is the bone?
- 18:03Speaker 12: No, no, you you, I'm sorry, I love you, but
- 18:05Speaker 12: you mentioned that he isn't working hard enough or he
- 18:08Speaker 12: isn't going enough place.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Wait, you know you've got the wrong show. I never
- 18:11Speaker 4: said that.
- 18:12Speaker 12: I listened to Day my dear.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Well, you may be, but you're completely nuts. I've never
- 18:16Speaker 4: said that. See the problem is you can't make up
- 18:18Speaker 4: that kind of stuff because we have every show. Anybody
- 18:21Speaker 4: can go dig up the podcast. I never, ever, ever,
- 18:24Speaker 4: ever said Curtis wasn't working her. That's another show. I
- 18:27Speaker 4: won't mention which one, but it's not. It's not me.
- 18:30Speaker 4: You've jumbled us up. But that's okay. Let's go to
- 18:33Speaker 4: Chris in Manhattan. Chris, how you doing.
- 18:36Speaker 13: I'm doing, Thanks good, Thanks for listen. You know, yesterday
- 18:38Speaker 13: I know he said it's anecdotal, but I went to
- 18:40Speaker 13: vote on sixty on seventy sixth Street Way.
- 18:43Speaker 4: You have a history. We love you, but you have
- 18:45Speaker 4: a history of anecdotal stuff. You remember how abortion was
- 18:48Speaker 4: going to kill Trump in the election, and you said.
- 18:50Speaker 13: I love you, you are fantastic, and I believe that. Okay,
- 18:53Speaker 13: but I just want to say yesterday, when I was voting,
- 18:56Speaker 13: there was nobody there under fifty and absolutely everybody was
- 19:00Speaker 13: voting for for Cuomo. Not because they liked him, but
- 19:04Speaker 13: they it was.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Like out of a gay Again, that's anecdotal, totally anecdotal.
- 19:08Speaker 13: All right, than I can ask another question, of course, Okay,
- 19:14Speaker 13: what happened to Tucker Carlson? When did he like fall
- 19:19Speaker 13: off the cliff?
- 19:21Speaker 4: Uh?
- 19:22Speaker 13: Did you know what I mean? Like I used to
- 19:24Speaker 13: like him in the same pain as right.
- 19:27Speaker 4: People have tried to analyze that. He started off great
- 19:29Speaker 4: on Fox News, and he was at one point the
- 19:31Speaker 4: highest rated show, but then he went kind of uh,
- 19:34Speaker 4: you know, he's a very sophisticated, classy Washington, d C.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Kind of a guy. Then all of a sudden he
- 19:40Speaker 4: went very redneck. You know, everything was like a real
- 19:42Speaker 4: redneck he'll billy kind of issue. I guess he was
- 19:44Speaker 4: trying to counter his image and then he went too
- 19:47Speaker 4: far in that everything's too far to the right, to redneck,
- 19:50Speaker 4: to out there. You're right, he's totally out there. I mean,
- 19:53Speaker 4: you know, Fox didn't want to deal with his uh
- 19:56Speaker 4: the blowback from him anymore.
- 19:58Speaker 13: And well, thank you very much.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Them is a lot of these people don't work for
- 20:03Speaker 4: anybody anymore. You know, they used to be on a
- 20:04Speaker 4: network and now they're doing their own podcast, their own show,
- 20:07Speaker 4: so it's just them like from their bedroom. So there's
- 20:10Speaker 4: nobody regulating it, there's no editorial anything, and they just
- 20:14Speaker 4: go too far sometimes. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 20:17Speaker 4: how you doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 20:19Speaker 10: I'm doing very well. Thank you. I caught you the
- 20:22Speaker 10: other night on.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Cudlow with oh you got a TV?
- 20:24Speaker 10: Now look at that, yes, sir, And interesting thing, I'm
- 20:29Speaker 10: seeing a parallel.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Now.
- 20:31Speaker 10: You discussed that Kamala Harris is on a pointless book tour.
- 20:35Speaker 10: Now she had been quoted as saying, not on that
- 20:39Speaker 10: particular show that you were on, that she will see
- 20:43Speaker 10: a woman president and it could be her. And lastly, Mark,
- 20:47Speaker 10: do you recall when Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump?
- 20:50Speaker 10: She too wrote a book called What Happened?
- 20:53Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a good point. Yeah, you're right. These washed
- 20:57Speaker 4: up people that just fail, they do right, these crazy books.
- 21:00Speaker 4: But when you kind of wiped out politically, that's your
- 21:03Speaker 4: income writing a book. Let's go to Jimmy new Milford. Jimmy,
- 21:07Speaker 4: how you doing?
- 21:10Speaker 11: Hey, good morning, Mark, how are you good?
- 21:14Speaker 14: The regional calling Why can't the airlines shipping and pay
- 21:19Speaker 14: the air traffic controllers?
- 21:21Speaker 4: Uh, well, we could argue that they're very cheap and
- 21:24Speaker 4: all that. But on the other hand, airline business is
- 21:27Speaker 4: the worst business in the world you can be in.
- 21:30Speaker 4: They don't make a lot of money these airlines. You know,
- 21:32Speaker 4: you see these big, enormous airlines, you think, wow, they
- 21:34Speaker 4: must be making bildings. The margin, the profit margin is
- 21:37Speaker 4: so tight. You know, they've had to lower the cost
- 21:39Speaker 4: that they just don't make. There's not a lot of
- 21:41Speaker 4: money in the airline business. Why you see these airlines
- 21:43Speaker 4: go broke all the time. It's the worst business you
- 21:45Speaker 4: can be in. Hey, Steve Moore is away this week.
- 21:49Speaker 4: At least he told us ahead of time this time.
- 21:52Speaker 4: But oh when we come back How We Car? We
- 21:55Speaker 4: love How We Car. We'll talk to him next about mom, Donnie,
- 21:57Speaker 4: about everything else coming up on or Welcome back to
- 22:03Speaker 4: the Mark sim Own show. Well one of the greatest
- 22:08Speaker 4: talk show hosts in America, Howie Carr also a best
- 22:11Speaker 4: selling author. You'll love his books and you can hear
- 22:14Speaker 4: his show. If podcast is on iHeart you can get
- 22:17Speaker 4: his book. His latest book is Mass Corruption. It's on Amazon,
- 22:21Speaker 4: or you can get everything at Howiecarshow dot com, howiecarshow
- 22:25Speaker 4: dot com, Howie Carr, how you doing very good?
- 22:28Speaker 1: I'll be sending you out a book. I asked Chris
- 22:31Speaker 1: to give me your address again and I'll send you
- 22:33Speaker 1: a book today. And we were waiting for Amazon to
- 22:36Speaker 1: put us on. They're still kind of, you know, dragging
- 22:40Speaker 1: their feet, but we should be on in a day
- 22:42Speaker 1: or two. But go to howiecarshow dot com and click
- 22:44Speaker 1: on the store and get it right now. We'll go
- 22:46Speaker 1: out this afternoon.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Mass corruption. Hey, get some of his other books too.
- 22:49Speaker 4: You'll love all his books. Hey, give us some advice.
- 22:53Speaker 4: We got this mom, Donnie on track according to every
- 22:56Speaker 4: poll to win. You're in Boston. You've had crazy socialist
- 23:00Speaker 4: left wing kook mayers. What do we do? How will
- 23:02Speaker 4: we get through it?
- 23:04Speaker 1: I don't know. I called up my daughter in the
- 23:06Speaker 1: West Village last weekend and I said something to her
- 23:10Speaker 1: that I never thought i'd say to anybody, let alone
- 23:12Speaker 1: a child of mine, And I said, you got to
- 23:14Speaker 1: get out and vote for Cuomo. I know you disagree, Mark,
- 23:19Speaker 1: I know you're still a slee wa guy, but you
- 23:23Speaker 1: got to pick the lesser of two evils in my opinion.
- 23:25Speaker 1: And I finally convinced her, you know, I said, it's
- 23:29Speaker 1: better for It's It's just I don't know there's no alternative.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It's not like a better or worse. It's just I
- 23:35Speaker 1: don't think you have an alternative, do you.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Yeah? The problem is two things should have happened. One
- 23:40Speaker 4: from the beginning, it should have been Cuomo get out,
- 23:43Speaker 4: because in many of these polls, Sleewood does better against
- 23:45Speaker 4: Mom Donnie than Cuomo does one to one. And those
- 23:50Speaker 4: big donors didn't come in with the super packs and
- 23:52Speaker 4: the negative ads to kill Mom Donnie's favorability. They didn't
- 23:55Speaker 4: do it. They were afraid. So but what do we do?
- 23:59Speaker 1: We heard I heard Sleawell yesterday on w o R
- 24:03Speaker 1: after on Clay and Bucks show, and he, I mean,
- 24:06Speaker 1: he didn't he didn't present himself very well. I didn't think.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Did you hear him on there?
- 24:12Speaker 4: No, I didn't get to hear it, but.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Kind of unhinged, you know, And and you know, I
- 24:16Speaker 1: know he's told he said, you know, I you know,
- 24:18Speaker 1: I love animals and all this, you know all this.
- 24:21Speaker 1: And I said, you know, I thought to myself, this
- 24:23Speaker 1: is a good you know, okay, you love animals. That's great,
- 24:27Speaker 1: that's wonderful. You offered ten million bucks. You know who
- 24:30Speaker 1: offered him ten million bucks? Has he ever said that
- 24:32Speaker 1: who offered.
- 24:32Speaker 11: Him the money?
- 24:34Speaker 4: No, but I know there's a few billionaires that have
- 24:37Speaker 4: offered him a lot to get out. And you know
- 24:41Speaker 4: thisiced Eric Adams, I will never endorse Cuomo. Next day,
- 24:43Speaker 4: I'm endorsing Cuomo. So that money's been floating around out
- 24:46Speaker 4: there on behalf of Cuomo.
- 24:49Speaker 1: But he is the mother's milk of politics and old saying.
- 24:54Speaker 1: But it's as true now as ever.
- 24:56Speaker 4: All right, but if we get mom, Donna, you've been
- 24:58Speaker 4: through this in Boston, what will have happened? How will
- 25:00Speaker 4: we get through this?
- 25:03Speaker 1: I you know, I I think that you know, it's
- 25:06Speaker 1: it's it's like what was it Hemingway said about bankruptcy.
- 25:12Speaker 1: It happens, it happens gradually at first, and then suddenly
- 25:15Speaker 1: I think, I think, you know, you'll start to see
- 25:17Speaker 1: more and more people fleeing. You know that now that
- 25:20Speaker 1: they first they start in the Connecticut papers, Now they're
- 25:23Speaker 1: in the New York papers about you know, there's this
- 25:26Speaker 1: run on real estate in Fairfield, and and you know,
- 25:29Speaker 1: and uh local and Governor Desantus that both said that
- 25:33Speaker 1: you know, they're going to get that this is going
- 25:36Speaker 1: to be great for Palm Beach real estate. I own
- 25:38Speaker 1: this condo in West Palm and ad this in my
- 25:41Speaker 1: other place, and I take it. I put it on
- 25:43Speaker 1: the rental market in the you know, when I don't
- 25:45Speaker 1: need it in the summer, for my for my people
- 25:48Speaker 1: down here, and so then in in h at the
- 25:52Speaker 1: end of October, I take it off the market, off
- 25:54Speaker 1: the rental sale market. And so usually I get like
- 25:57Speaker 1: two or three calls when I take it off the
- 25:59Speaker 1: rental market. I took it off last week and I've
- 26:03Speaker 1: been I've just been deluged with calls, texts, emails. I mean, people,
- 26:08Speaker 1: people are assuming that Mambani has won, and they're just
- 26:11Speaker 1: looking for more, uh uh more more real estate to
- 26:16Speaker 1: put on the market. You know, as soon as this happens,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I mean you could.
- 26:19Speaker 11: You can.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I mean, I just see it in my own personal life.
- 26:22Speaker 1: You know how many people want to you know, want
- 26:24Speaker 1: to sell my little condo in West Palm, which is downtown.
- 26:29Speaker 1: It's I mean, I just say, I think there's gonna
- 26:30Speaker 1: be like a gigantic exodus of people out, don't.
- 26:34Speaker 4: You no, I don't know you can. It's New York.
- 26:37Speaker 4: We had we had it happen with Cuomo. He was
- 26:39Speaker 4: the worst governor. So many people left New York that
- 26:42Speaker 4: we lost four congressional seats as a result of Cuomo.
- 26:45Speaker 11: Right.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I remember I used to fill in for you sometimes
- 26:47Speaker 1: and I and half the calls would be from Florida.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I remember that. Oh it's gonna be It's gonna be
- 26:55Speaker 1: on steroids.
- 26:56Speaker 7: Now, come on.
- 26:59Speaker 4: But Cuomo's just as bad. He gets afraid of the
- 27:01Speaker 4: left wing. He goes crazy left. He gave us no bail,
- 27:04Speaker 4: no jail, he closed the prisons. What do we want
- 27:06Speaker 4: him for?
- 27:10Speaker 1: You know, you know the devil you know is better
- 27:13Speaker 1: than the devil you don't know. I mean, I'm using
- 27:15Speaker 1: all the old clichis here today, But you know, I mean,
- 27:18Speaker 1: like I said, I never thought I would tell my
- 27:21Speaker 1: daughter or anybody else to vote for Cuomo. But I mean,
- 27:24Speaker 1: what are you going to? I mean, this guy, this
- 27:26Speaker 1: guy thinks that his father thinks that Abraham Lincoln was
- 27:30Speaker 1: the prototype for the Nazis. Well, why are they over
- 27:34Speaker 1: here if they really believe this, you know, why did
- 27:36Speaker 1: they move here? I'm with this guy, Randy Fying, the
- 27:39Speaker 1: new congressman from Faria. It took Waltz's place. He wants
- 27:43Speaker 1: to he wants an investigation as to whether any kind
- 27:47Speaker 1: of immigration fraud was committed by any of these people.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I know, Anna, Omar, Mom, Donnie. We got a couple
- 27:54Speaker 1: of naturalized citizens politicians in Massachusetts that are currently doing
- 27:58Speaker 1: bids in federal prison, and I want to get them
- 28:00Speaker 1: the hell out of the count.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Really well, So you got a couple of things that
- 28:07Speaker 4: could happen. One, they could get him on that immigration stuff.
- 28:10Speaker 4: But they're also looking at foreign money that's coming to
- 28:12Speaker 4: his campaign. There's already a criminal referral. It's a long shot.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Could that's yeah, I mean that's like short, I mean
- 28:17Speaker 1: that's short money. I mean he's given some of it back.
- 28:19Speaker 1: It's under ten thousand. Now that's a question, right.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Yeah, but they may find more. You never know. And
- 28:26Speaker 4: even after he wins the election, they can take him
- 28:28Speaker 4: out if they find it. Also got a couple of
- 28:31Speaker 4: people in the Justice Department said they'll watch his every move.
- 28:34Speaker 4: If he does anything anti Semitic or any they'll arrest
- 28:37Speaker 4: him on a hate crime. But again, this is a
- 28:41Speaker 4: long shot. So but we got to we got to
- 28:44Speaker 4: eight years of build a Blasio. We can get through this,
- 28:46Speaker 4: can't we.
- 28:49Speaker 1: But you knows, Dad is Bill de Blasio. Is he
- 28:53Speaker 1: was an American.
- 28:54Speaker 15: You know, he was.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Went to Cambridge Rinche in Latin. I used to be
- 28:59Speaker 1: able to spit on this high school from where I live,
- 29:01Speaker 1: you know, I mean he was he was a local communist.
- 29:05Speaker 1: You know this is he's only been a citizen since
- 29:09Speaker 1: twenty nineteen.
- 29:11Speaker 4: H How did this happen? Well, you know how it
- 29:13Speaker 4: happened because the CUOMO if we had somebody else in
- 29:15Speaker 4: the primary, know what happened.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Is nobody voted. That's the problem, you know, I mean
- 29:20Speaker 1: people people have just like gotten into Oh I voted
- 29:23Speaker 1: in the presidential election, that's the only one that matters.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I mean, that is just such a such a shortsighted
- 29:29Speaker 1: you of your civic responsibility. People got to get out
- 29:33Speaker 1: and vote. I mean, I know my kids, my daughter
- 29:36Speaker 1: and their boyfriend, they didn't vote in any of these
- 29:38Speaker 1: primary any other primaries. They you know, That's why I
- 29:41Speaker 1: had to, you know, keep asking them over and over
- 29:43Speaker 1: again to get out and vote. And I think I
- 29:46Speaker 1: finally convinced him. But how many people do you know?
- 29:48Speaker 1: They didn't vote?
- 29:49Speaker 4: A lot?
- 29:50Speaker 1: Not that you're not that you had a big choice, right,
- 29:53Speaker 1: we promote man Banni, But I mean you know, you
- 29:59Speaker 1: just you have to make the best of it. We
- 30:03Speaker 1: don't live in a perfect society.
- 30:05Speaker 4: You can say that again.
- 30:08Speaker 11: We want.
- 30:09Speaker 4: We're out of time, But everybody get Howie Carr's new book.

- 30:30Speaker 1: Twitter and YouTube and hit with these loft fair subpoenas.
- 30:35Speaker 1: But I don't know what the hell's going on. But
- 30:37Speaker 1: we'll be on in a couple of days and on

- 31:46Speaker 4: standard time, which means it gets dark like five point
- 31:48Speaker 4: fifteen five thirty. Very annoying. Takes a lot of getting
- 31:51Speaker 4: used to. Also, don't forget Sunday's marathon. Sunday and it's
- 31:56Speaker 4: a traffic nightmare in the New York City. And remember
- 31:58Speaker 4: the marathons every bird, So I don't even don't even

- 32:20Speaker 4: Hey, very rainy day to day. It's gonna be this
- 32:23Speaker 4: horrible all day, nothing but rain and wind all day.
- 32:26Speaker 4: It'll be gone by tomorrow. Tomorrow night's Halloween, so everything
- 32:30Speaker 4: will clear up for that. Even the Washington Post, the
- 32:34Speaker 4: left wing liberal Washington Post, big editorial today telling Democrats
- 32:39Speaker 4: time to end the shutdown, stop holding the government hostage.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Schumer the king of the shutdown, it says in the
- 32:47Speaker 4: Washington Post, Schumer has allowed the shutdown to drag on
- 32:51Speaker 4: because he's worried about fending off a primary challenger in
- 32:55Speaker 4: twenty twenty eight. Now, a lot of people close to
- 32:58Speaker 4: Schumer say he will just give up, not even try
- 33:00Speaker 4: to run in twenty twenty eight. He'll just give up,
- 33:05Speaker 4: just give up, and that leaves him a few years.
- 33:08Speaker 4: You know, he's an older guy. Time to time to
- 33:11Speaker 4: wrap it up anyway. Probably he went from the little
- 33:14Speaker 4: Ben Franklin glasses to the big swifty Lazark type of glasses,
- 33:18Speaker 4: the mister Magoo glasses. Time probably to just if he's
- 33:24Speaker 4: you know, people say, I don't even remember this, but
- 33:27Speaker 4: they say when he started forty something years ago in
- 33:30Speaker 4: Congress that he was a man of principal and he
- 33:32Speaker 4: was a principal guy, and he would do the right thing.
- 33:34Speaker 4: I don't even remember this, But if that's the case,
- 33:38Speaker 4: you'll go back to that for your last couple of years.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Just do the right thing.
- 33:42Speaker 11: You know.
- 33:42Speaker 4: All you got to do is they got this what
- 33:45Speaker 4: he called it. They have these crazy names. A clean
- 33:47Speaker 4: CR means continuing resolution. What does that mean. It means
- 33:54Speaker 4: they sign a thing where they keep it open in
- 33:56Speaker 4: another seven weeks, and then you sit down and you
- 33:58Speaker 4: got seven weeks to the negotiate. Seems pretty simple. No
- 34:02Speaker 4: matter what the fight, no matter what the dispute, you
- 34:05Speaker 4: sign this thing. Okay, we'll keep it open seven weeks
- 34:08Speaker 4: while we settle it. They tried this. They vote on
- 34:15Speaker 4: it every day, and the Democrats have voted it down
- 34:19Speaker 4: thirteen times. They will not do this continuing resolution thing
- 34:23Speaker 4: where you keep it open to the seven weeks. But
- 34:25Speaker 4: here's the Washington Post today yelling and screaming at humor.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Stop this, this is silly. Open the government up. Stop
- 34:32Speaker 4: holding everything hostage. So we'll see what happens. But they're
- 34:36Speaker 4: all supposed to leave. You know, these are politicians and
- 34:39Speaker 4: these Republicans are just as bad when it comes to
- 34:41Speaker 4: this kind of stuff. They're on vacation every two seconds.
- 34:45Speaker 4: You know, they take the nine thousand weeks off a year.
- 34:49Speaker 4: They're all leaving this weekend. You know this Schumer will
- 34:51Speaker 4: tell you everybody's going to die. It's the worst crisis.
- 34:54Speaker 4: We're all going to die. And then it goes away
- 34:56Speaker 4: for the weekend. So but they'll have to go through
- 34:59Speaker 4: the air and they're going to see the air controller
- 35:02Speaker 4: stuff and the delays, and they'll still feel it this
- 35:06Speaker 4: weekend as they fly home and fly back. So Jerome Powell,
- 35:11Speaker 4: the Fed Chairman, did lower rates quarter of a point,
- 35:14Speaker 4: which is nothing. He still has disappointed everybody. Powell is
- 35:19Speaker 4: a real Trump derangement syndrome guy. He really hates Trump.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Doesn't want to do Nobody can quite figure this guy out.
- 35:26Speaker 4: We know he hates Trump, so he may deliberately not
- 35:29Speaker 4: lowering the rates to where they should be, trying to
- 35:31Speaker 4: hurt Trump. Although some people think he's just a dumb economist,
- 35:35Speaker 4: he's just a bad economist. And he has this thing
- 35:39Speaker 4: about growth. You know, we're on track to really grow
- 35:41Speaker 4: the economy, and he's trying to stall that growth because
- 35:45Speaker 4: as a dumb economist. Some believe, some very smart guys
- 35:50Speaker 4: believe he's one of these dumb economists who thinks growth
- 35:53Speaker 4: could be inflationary, so you want to slow the growth
- 35:57Speaker 4: so you don't get too much inflation. Here's Powell yesterday.
- 36:00Speaker 17: At a time when we have tension between our two goals.
- 36:03Speaker 17: We have strong views across the committee, and as I mentioned,
- 36:08Speaker 17: there were strongly differing views today. And the takeaway from
- 36:11Speaker 17: that is that we haven't made a decision about December.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Now for a million dollars, tell me what he just said,
- 36:16Speaker 4: I don't know. There's supposed to be another rate decrease
- 36:21Speaker 4: in December. See. The problem is if he's delayed this
- 36:25Speaker 4: for like a year, he's delayed, delayed, delayed, delayed. So
- 36:28Speaker 4: when you delay the rate decutting the rate too long,
- 36:32Speaker 4: then you have to do an even bigger cut. So
- 36:33Speaker 4: you're gonna have to cut every month now to make
- 36:35Speaker 4: up for his delays.
- 36:36Speaker 17: In support of our goals, and in light of the
- 36:38Speaker 17: balance of risks to employment and inflation, today the Federal
- 36:42Speaker 17: Open Market Committee decided to lower our policy interest rate
- 36:45Speaker 17: by a quarter percentage point.
- 36:48Speaker 4: I would like to spend New Year's Eve with this guy. Well,
- 36:50Speaker 4: ha an exciting guy.
- 36:51Speaker 17: Though some important federal government data have been delayed due
- 36:54Speaker 17: to the shutdown, the public and private sector data that
- 36:58Speaker 17: have remained available suggests that the out look for employment
- 37:00Speaker 17: and inflation has not changed much since our meeting in September.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Now, he'd be great as a spokesman for somebody because
- 37:07Speaker 4: you don't know what the hell he's saying. He just
- 37:08Speaker 4: comes up and you pretend like you're listening, but you
- 37:14Speaker 4: don't know what he said. The Mayor race, A bunch
- 37:17Speaker 4: of poles came out in the last twenty four hours
- 37:19Speaker 4: showing Mamdani slaughtering Cuomo by one is sixteen points, one
- 37:24Speaker 4: is twenty five points. But again, these are all these
- 37:26Speaker 4: college poles, these junk poles. Curtis Sliwa on Staten Island yesterday.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Cuomo actually went to Staten Island, which is something he
- 37:35Speaker 4: would never do. But he was suddenly seen on Staten
- 37:38Speaker 4: Island yesterday. Then now that's a one borrow that's pretty
- 37:43Speaker 4: much always going for Sliwa. That's a Sliwa borough. So
- 37:46Speaker 4: maybe he's trying to eat into Sleiwa's lead there. But
- 37:48Speaker 4: Curtis was on Staten Island.
- 37:49Speaker 18: Covering to Cuomo in that primary debate when all the
- 37:53Speaker 18: Democrats asked which borough did they visit the least, they
- 37:58Speaker 18: all said Staten Island, and they giggle and laughed like
- 38:00Speaker 18: a bunch of kids. Staten Islanders won't forget how you
- 38:05Speaker 18: distin dismissed them with Ja Mandani and the other Democrats.
- 38:09Speaker 4: I'm there all the time, ain't no, he is, That's
- 38:11Speaker 4: been all the time.
- 38:12Speaker 11: Uh No.
- 38:13Speaker 4: The thing with Staten Island, it's the least population, the
- 38:16Speaker 4: lowest population of any borough, and it tends to always
- 38:19Speaker 4: always go to Republican, which is uh. I think the
- 38:22Speaker 4: only brother traditionally does that, Cuomo, fairweather friend.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I think people in Staten Island know that both him
- 38:29Speaker 3: and Zora are coming there to get the votes, but
- 38:31Speaker 3: they've never been there before, and I guarantee you after
- 38:35Speaker 3: the election, they'll never be on Staten Island again.
- 38:38Speaker 4: I'm Staten Island strong through and through. Yeah. So, uh,
- 38:43Speaker 4: here's Mamdani yesterday.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Everyone always says that I'm running on an affordability agenda.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Well that's not quite true.
- 38:51Speaker 11: I'm running.
- 38:53Speaker 4: On a beec agenda.
- 38:56Speaker 2: It's not a bacon, egg and cheese.
- 38:59Speaker 8: It's bringing economic changee.
- 39:05Speaker 4: Oh, isn't he clever?
- 39:07Speaker 15: Now?
- 39:07Speaker 13: What that?
- 39:08Speaker 11: Uh?
- 39:08Speaker 4: The Bodega Union, Bodega Association. Uh, it's kind of the
- 39:14Speaker 4: union for bodega's. They came out and they endorsed Mom Donnie.
- 39:20Speaker 4: Can you believe that they endorsed Mom Donnie? Now this
- 39:24Speaker 4: Fernando Mattea, he's the very colorful co founder of it's
- 39:28Speaker 4: the United Bodega's of America Association. He resigned. He quit
- 39:33Speaker 4: because the president of this organization endorsed Mom Donnie. So
- 39:38Speaker 4: Mateo resigned and he's going to hold a news conference
- 39:42Speaker 4: later today denouncing this endorsement.
- 39:46Speaker 16: Uh.
- 39:46Speaker 4: And he contended it's illegal. It violates the Bodega Owners
- 39:50Speaker 4: Group's nonprofit status. So if they are indeed a nonprofit
- 39:54Speaker 4: five oh one C three, they can't get political. So
- 39:57Speaker 4: this is going to be a big p for them.
- 40:00Speaker 4: But that's what he was talking about, bacon, egg and
- 40:02Speaker 4: cheese and all that. Cuomo yesterday, Let's see what he
- 40:05Speaker 4: was up to.
- 40:06Speaker 2: The truth is there's a quiet civil war going on
- 40:10Speaker 2: in the Democratic Party.
- 40:11Speaker 4: We will notice he's back to talking slow and funny,
- 40:16Speaker 4: going up and down and talking like that again.
- 40:19Speaker 2: The truth is there's a quiet civil war going on
- 40:24Speaker 2: in the Democratic Party right now.
- 40:26Speaker 11: You have an.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Extreme left, radical left. Bernie Sandrews AOC Mamdani is just
- 40:33Speaker 2: the banner carrier for that movement versus the mainstream moderate Democrats.
- 40:39Speaker 2: They now call me moderate. They used to call me liberal.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Now I'm a moderate because the whole party shifted.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Yeah, he talks slow again. You know, he always talks
- 40:49Speaker 4: to you like you're the one that's stupid that he
- 40:51Speaker 4: talks like this. Now he has a good point there
- 40:56Speaker 4: that he's now considered the moderate. He got really lucky.
- 40:59Speaker 4: You know, normally, if you do terrible things as governor
- 41:02Speaker 4: that everybody hates, you know, the no bail, no jail,
- 41:05Speaker 4: the taxes, all the things he did. So many people
- 41:08Speaker 4: left New York when he was governor. We lost four
- 41:10Speaker 4: congressional seats under him. So a terrible governor. And then
- 41:14Speaker 4: the sex scandal, the sexual harassment scandal. He has to
- 41:17Speaker 4: resign in disgrace. He's under investigation by the Ethics Committee
- 41:22Speaker 4: for the book deal. All these horrible things happen, then
- 41:24Speaker 4: normally you can't run again and if you did, you
- 41:28Speaker 4: who would back you? But he got really lucky in
- 41:32Speaker 4: that the guy that shows up to run against him
- 41:34Speaker 4: is the craziest left wing socialist, communist nut job Mamdani ever.
- 41:40Speaker 4: So next to him, Cuomo looks like a moderate, even
- 41:44Speaker 4: though he governed as an extreme far left guy. So,
- 41:48Speaker 4: but the problem is Cuomo's unfavorability is just so high
- 41:52Speaker 4: it's tough for him to ever care. It's not about
- 41:55Speaker 4: Curtis And to keep you yelling, Curtis has together. It
- 41:56Speaker 4: has nothing to do with Curtis getting out. Let Cuomo
- 41:59Speaker 4: earn those votes if he wants. And here here's more
- 42:02Speaker 4: from yesterday.
- 42:02Speaker 2: That's what this election is about. It is that civil war.
- 42:06Speaker 2: I believe that far left will destroy the Democratic Party.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I believe it will destroy the Democratic Party nationwide if
- 42:15Speaker 2: that far left becomes dominant.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it's happened before where the Democrats went so far
- 42:21Speaker 4: to the left they just lost everything. And if they
- 42:24Speaker 4: lose the midterms, then you'll see the revolution. And that's
- 42:27Speaker 4: happened before. And then when that happened, somebody rises up
- 42:30Speaker 4: of Bill Clinton and leads them back towards the center,
- 42:34Speaker 4: towards the mainstream. And I don't know who that would
- 42:38Speaker 4: be this time. That Newsom is pretty good at that.
- 42:40Speaker 4: I know he's a far left guy, but he's a
- 42:43Speaker 4: good actor. He's good at particularly Clinton did that a
- 42:46Speaker 4: couple of times in his career. He was a left
- 42:48Speaker 4: wing governor. Denny was a right wing governor. She's like
- 42:51Speaker 4: a weather vane. I Knewsom might have that talent and
- 42:54Speaker 4: more of mom Donnie yesterday. I think he's talking about
- 42:56Speaker 4: his father then with the Civil War. Oh no, this
- 42:59Speaker 4: is ma'm Donni's father. Now you get all this video
- 43:02Speaker 4: coming out from mam Donni from years ago where he
- 43:05Speaker 4: said horrible things about Israel, the police, America, all this stuff.
- 43:10Speaker 4: Then we find his father, who's a real left wing
- 43:13Speaker 4: kouk of a professor. If you wonder how come all
- 43:17Speaker 4: these twenty sethings they're voting for these crazy well, it's
- 43:19Speaker 4: because of the universities. They were taken over years ago
- 43:22Speaker 4: by left wing kouk professors, boards of trustees, and presidents
- 43:28Speaker 4: and they went they became radical in doctrination center. So
- 43:32Speaker 4: you know, if you're an impressionable college kid, four years
- 43:35Speaker 4: of these people telling you how great socialism is, and
- 43:38Speaker 4: this mom Donni father telling you he's a professor telling
- 43:41Speaker 4: you all this nonsense.
- 43:42Speaker 19: Then with the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln generalized the solution
- 43:47Speaker 19: of reservations. They herded American Indians into separate territories for
- 43:57Speaker 19: the Nazis. For the Nazis, this was the inspiration. Hitler
- 44:04Speaker 19: realized two things. One that genocide was doable. It is
- 44:10Speaker 19: possible to do genocide. That's what Hitler realized.
- 44:18Speaker 4: I'm laughing, it's not funny, but it's so ridiculous. So
- 44:21Speaker 4: this is this mom, Donnie father, this is the guy
- 44:24Speaker 4: that raised him. This guy came to this country like
- 44:26Speaker 4: twenty seconds ago and now he's an expert in America
- 44:29Speaker 4: and Abraham Lincoln in the Civil War. And he's explaining
- 44:32Speaker 4: to the students it was Abraham Lincoln who was the
- 44:35Speaker 4: original Nazi. Abraham Lincoln was inspiration for the Nazis. This
- 44:41Speaker 4: is what goes on in these universities, not just him.
- 44:44Speaker 4: You got all these professors teaching this crap the kids,
- 44:47Speaker 4: and they're all writing it down. Huh, Abraham Lincoln, Untrey,
- 44:50Speaker 4: they're writing this. This is the kind of lunatics teaching
- 44:56Speaker 4: has been going on for like twenty thirty years in
- 44:58Speaker 4: our universities. So You've raised generations of socialists, left wing
- 45:03Speaker 4: kook and this mom Donnie comes from this guy. This
- 45:09Speaker 4: was his father, and the mother's just as bad. Here's
- 45:12Speaker 4: it was more Aquamo yesterday.
- 45:13Speaker 2: You now get down to the last week. They're starting
- 45:17Speaker 2: to focus. They're starting to learn who Zoron really is,
- 45:23Speaker 2: and what he has said, and what he stands for
- 45:26Speaker 2: and what the democratic socialist agenda is all about.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Yeah, so I don't know. I don't know. These polls
- 45:33Speaker 4: are all just the worst polls, junk polls, not great polls. Hey,
- 45:37Speaker 4: New Jersey. By the way, uh, you are seeing well
- 45:42Speaker 4: Chitdarelli was behind, he caught up. It's pretty much tied
- 45:46Speaker 4: in all the polls. There may be some polling data
- 45:49Speaker 4: that now show's Chittarelli with a slight lead. Also, you
- 45:52Speaker 4: got to bear in mind this is important. Republicans always
- 45:55Speaker 4: under poll in New Jersey. Republicans under poll in New Jersey.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Speaking at Chittarelli, Sean Hannity doing a special show tonight
- 46:05Speaker 4: on Fox News at nine o'clock. It'll be a town
- 46:07Speaker 4: hall with Jack Chittarelli tonight at nine on Hannity. That's
- 46:13Speaker 4: millions of people that should help him. He's Chitdarelli.
- 46:16Speaker 8: Her entire campaign is based on a stack of lies
- 46:20Speaker 8: about me, her disdain for the president, and she can
- 46:22Speaker 8: fly a helicopter, none of which is going to fix
- 46:25Speaker 8: New Jersey.
- 46:27Speaker 4: Yeah, now, President Trump pointing out she's a terrible candidate.
- 46:32Speaker 4: She is running these commercials about you know, I was
- 46:34Speaker 4: a helicopter pilot in the Navy. I flew helicopters in
- 46:39Speaker 4: the Navy as a Navy helicopter pilot. So I've been
- 46:43Speaker 4: asking all these Navy pilots about all this, and they
- 46:45Speaker 4: keep telling me she probably wasn't very good if she
- 46:49Speaker 4: was just flying helicopters. Apparently, when you go into the
- 46:52Speaker 4: Navy to be a pilot, if you're any good, you're
- 46:54Speaker 4: flying a jet. You're flying the real stuff. The helicopter
- 46:58Speaker 4: is the easiest, simplest thing. After her entire Navy career,
- 47:01Speaker 4: all she ever flew was a helicopter. Pilots tell me
- 47:04Speaker 4: she's not that good a pilot if she did that.
- 47:06Speaker 4: And then she had a problem with her graduation, some
- 47:09Speaker 4: sort of scandal there. So she's a mess of a candidate.
- 47:13Speaker 4: Far left, kooky. You've had enough of these left wing
- 47:16Speaker 4: idiot governors. So anyway, Hey, we'll take some calls. Next
- 47:20Speaker 4: eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 47:24Speaker 4: the number eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 47:29Speaker 4: in Mark on Demand by setting up presead for his
- 47:32Speaker 4: podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 47:35Speaker 8: Now back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 47:39Speaker 4: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Bill Lafayette,
- 47:43Speaker 4: New Jersey. Bill, how you doing.
- 47:46Speaker 11: Good? Good?
- 47:46Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 47:47Speaker 14: A recent FBI report between January twentieth and now, they
- 47:52Speaker 14: arrested twenty eight thousand violent criminals involving human trafficking, child's
- 47:59Speaker 14: youth sentanyl and the Senator from California has the audacity
- 48:04Speaker 14: to say that the deployment of the National Guard by
- 48:08Speaker 14: Trump is illegal.
- 48:10Speaker 11: Did the Democrats like crime? Do they like that?
- 48:13Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 48:13Speaker 4: They you haven't noticed. Yeah, they love criminals. Well, they
- 48:15Speaker 4: love them. The no bail, no jail, defund ice is
- 48:19Speaker 4: defund the police. Yes, they seem to love crime. They
- 48:23Speaker 4: see them as victims. It's your fault there at criminal.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Let's go to Michael and Tribeca. Michael, how you doing, yes.
- 48:31Speaker 16: Mark, good morning. I voted for sleetword because I've always
- 48:35Speaker 16: liked him. I think he's original, authentic, and I couldn't
- 48:38Speaker 16: vote for Cuomo for every reason that he did no
- 48:43Speaker 16: good on the city. I mean letting people out of
- 48:45Speaker 16: jails and COVID and the congestion pricing thing and all
- 48:50Speaker 16: the rest of it. So my wife says, why didn't
- 48:52Speaker 16: you vote with Cloma? I says, well, let the Democrats
- 48:55Speaker 16: just waddle in their garbage for a couple of years.
- 48:57Speaker 4: If this is what yeah, I understand, and I understand.
- 49:01Speaker 4: You know, this is all the fault of these big donors.
- 49:03Speaker 4: They screw up every election, the big, big, big money donors.
- 49:06Speaker 4: They're zillionaires, They're brilliant at what they do. They's absolute
- 49:11Speaker 4: idiots when it comes to politics. I don't know anything
- 49:13Speaker 4: about it. In the very beginning, they should have chased
- 49:15Speaker 4: Cuomo out of the race. They should have just chased
- 49:19Speaker 4: him out, bribed him out. He's probably more bribeable than
- 49:21Speaker 4: anybody would bribe him out of the race, and then
- 49:23Speaker 4: you'd have Curtis versus Mom Donnie might have had a chance.
- 49:27Speaker 4: The think with Curtis is he's real, he's authentic. He's
- 49:30Speaker 4: the best guy in the race. He's the best crime
- 49:32Speaker 4: fighter in the race. The problem with this Cuomo, Mom Donnie,
- 49:35Speaker 4: it's like the big donor's telling you, here's two guys
- 49:37Speaker 4: who absolutely stink, but this one's a little worse. This
- 49:43Speaker 4: guy's awful, but he's not quite as bad as the other.
- 49:46Speaker 4: That's a ridiculous position to put voters in. Let's go
- 49:49Speaker 4: to Richard and Hackensack. Richard, how you doing?
- 49:52Speaker 11: Mark? You're harpercent right with what you just said. I'm
- 49:56Speaker 11: thinking you're a good friend to Sean Hatney and a
- 49:58Speaker 11: little bit of constructive when he speaks.
- 50:02Speaker 4: He's got this well, you know, the guy's been like
- 50:04Speaker 4: the number one television show for like thirty years. But
- 50:07Speaker 4: he was just saying to me the other day, could
- 50:08Speaker 4: you find an amateur from Hackensack? That give me a consultant?
- 50:14Speaker 4: But you don't sound like a professional.
- 50:17Speaker 11: But you don't like what you hear.
- 50:19Speaker 4: No, no where do you work professionally in broadcasting?
- 50:22Speaker 11: I have Oh that that's not me. That's not me.
- 50:25Speaker 4: What do you do for a living? What do you
- 50:27Speaker 4: do for a living? What do you do for a living?
- 50:29Speaker 11: I'm retired?
- 50:29Speaker 4: What did you do for him?
- 50:30Speaker 11: Retired?
- 50:31Speaker 4: What did you chiropractic? A chiropractor? But if Sean said,
- 50:36Speaker 4: let me give you some advice on how to do chiropractory.
- 50:39Speaker 4: Would you listen to him?
- 50:41Speaker 11: Oh? Well, he was actually a friend of a good
- 50:43Speaker 11: friend of mine who was a car Oh.
- 50:44Speaker 4: There you go. He's a friend of a friend of
- 50:46Speaker 4: a friend of every Every amateur has got advice.
- 50:51Speaker 11: You know.
- 50:51Speaker 4: That's like if I see Tom Brady, I could say
- 50:53Speaker 4: to him, you know, you ought to put your hand
- 50:55Speaker 4: here on the ball. Maybe hold the ball like this,
- 50:58Speaker 4: This would be better for you. Let's go to Rich
- 51:01Speaker 4: and Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 51:03Speaker 11: Who was that Alan Harper from two and a half men?
- 51:06Speaker 11: You were just talking to it chropractice. You know, it's
- 51:11Speaker 11: a sad day down here. Mark My pool dropped all
- 51:13Speaker 11: the way to sixty four degrees with the cold weather
- 51:15Speaker 11: we've been having, So it's a very sad in Myrtle Beach.
- 51:18Speaker 11: You know, I saw the other night the Post reported
- 51:20Speaker 11: on their Facebook page or their website did they had
- 51:23Speaker 11: traced dirty money to Mam Donnie. Yet I hear nobody
- 51:26Speaker 11: in the news talking about this.
- 51:28Speaker 4: Is this going to be some big Well we've been
- 51:29Speaker 4: talking about that last week before, well the last few days.
- 51:32Speaker 4: The problem is it's a small amount. So far, they're
- 51:34Speaker 4: looking for more. There have been two criminal referrals to
- 51:38Speaker 4: the Justice Department based on a couples donate. But again
- 51:41Speaker 4: there's small donations. I think it was thirteen thousand altogether.
- 51:44Speaker 4: Mam Donnie has returned about six seven thousand of it.
- 51:49Speaker 4: The rest hasn't been returned. He's disputing some of it,
- 51:52Speaker 4: saying they're American citizens, just happened to be in a
- 51:55Speaker 4: foreign country at the moment. But there's more common there's
- 51:59Speaker 4: more coming, there's more money that will be found. Hey, oh,
- 52:02Speaker 4: let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 52:05Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, Good morning matter Mark. I just came
- 52:09Speaker 7: back from getting my annual flu shot, and I suggest
- 52:14Speaker 7: all the guilt written white liberals, especially in Brooklyn Heights,
- 52:19Speaker 7: Park Slope, the Upper west Side, Carrol Gardens, all the
- 52:23Speaker 7: Tony neighborhoods in New York where it really cost a
- 52:26Speaker 7: lot of money to hold the mortgage, I suggest you
- 52:30Speaker 7: go get a common sense shot. Because when Mendami says
- 52:35Speaker 7: he wants to raise taxes in all the white neighborhoods,
- 52:39Speaker 7: don't count him out. Because Sean was arguing with somebody
- 52:44Speaker 7: yesterday and the guy was saying, no, he can't do it.
- 52:47Speaker 15: Well, Katy hope of finagel the laws so that a
- 52:52Speaker 15: case that expired on Trump went past the statute of limitations.
- 52:59Speaker 15: They brought it back. They said, this judge and Gallon
- 53:02Speaker 15: said that Trump's properties were only worth eighteen million. I
- 53:07Speaker 15: wouldn't put anything past the corrupt New York State legislature
- 53:13Speaker 15: and these judges. Yeah, obstensibly he can't do it. But
- 53:18Speaker 15: given the corrupt judicial system, I wouldn't put anything past
- 53:23Speaker 15: these people. So go out and get a common sense
- 53:27Speaker 15: shot and do not vote for Mondami.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Please go get that.
- 53:32Speaker 4: We agree, Vincent. We gotta go because we gotta do
- 53:34Speaker 4: the news. Excellent call. When we come back, Jimmy Faylor
- 53:37Speaker 4: will be with us next on seven to ten wr.
- 53:41Speaker 7: Ter near your Mark Simone.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Well, Jimmy Fayler, the great comedian tom show host. You
- 53:49Speaker 4: know he's got a big hit show now on wor
- 53:53Speaker 4: every night at nine o'clock, nine to midnight. You got
- 53:55Speaker 4: to listen to Jimmy Taylor tonight and every weeknight, and
- 53:58Speaker 4: then on Fox he does the best late night show
- 54:01Speaker 4: Saturday nights at ten o'clock. And it's great to have
- 54:05Speaker 4: him back with us. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing.
- 54:08Speaker 11: I'm doing.
- 54:09Speaker 8: Man, what do we got four days encounting till Mom
- 54:12Speaker 8: Donnie five days? Is that what they're telling me?
- 54:14Speaker 4: Yeah? Uh, this is all the fault of the big donors.
- 54:18Speaker 4: They chase, they're trying to chase Curtis out, and they
- 54:21Speaker 4: tell us our choices between the worst guy in the
- 54:24Speaker 4: whole world and a really bad guy, Cuomo. What kind
- 54:27Speaker 4: of choice is that?
- 54:29Speaker 3: Amen?
- 54:30Speaker 8: You know, I have Curtis on Fox New Saturday night
- 54:32Speaker 8: this weekend. I'm trying to give him one more push
- 54:34Speaker 8: because again, the idea that the Republican Party went from
- 54:38Speaker 8: fight fight, fight to surrender surrender surrenders never gonna sit
- 54:41Speaker 8: right with me. It's like, it's never gonna sit right,
- 54:43Speaker 8: and like our job is not to get Cuomo back
- 54:46Speaker 8: in there, you know. So I'm with you, man, none
- 54:50Speaker 8: of this makes sense what I'm hoping. Have you been
- 54:52Speaker 8: following that story where they manipulated the gambling lines a
- 54:56Speaker 8: little bit and a lot of Mom Donnie supporters might
- 54:58Speaker 8: have thrown money in there. To me, yeah, look like
- 55:00Speaker 8: he's a better shot than he is. I mean, that's
- 55:02Speaker 8: that's kind of what I'm rooting for at this point.
- 55:05Speaker 8: And to be clear, like I grew up around gambling
- 55:09Speaker 8: man like I was. You know, I paid and didn't
- 55:11Speaker 8: pay my rent from betting the NFL in my twenties,
- 55:14Speaker 8: so I know gamb but I just I don't know
- 55:16Speaker 8: if that's a likely scenario either.
- 55:18Speaker 11: You know this is all nuts? Yeah? Yeah.
- 55:21Speaker 4: One thing about those poly markets betting markets. Whoever's got
- 55:24Speaker 4: the most money in places, the biggest bet moves the
- 55:26Speaker 4: odds the most. So and they say, with that poly market,
- 55:28Speaker 4: there's like four major betters that basically set the odds.
- 55:31Speaker 8: So this isn't like, this isn't like when an NBA
- 55:35Speaker 8: coach is fixing a poker game.
- 55:36Speaker 4: Yeah, this is.
- 55:39Speaker 11: It's not like an X ray vision bet.
- 55:41Speaker 8: It's just people throwing a lot of money. But you
- 55:43Speaker 8: can Yeah, you can bluff, I guess, is what I'm
- 55:45Speaker 8: trying to say.
- 55:46Speaker 11: Yeah, so.
- 55:49Speaker 4: What do you think? It doesn't look good for I mean,
- 55:52Speaker 4: we hope Curtsey wins, but it doesn't look good for Cuomo,
- 55:54Speaker 4: does it. It looks like every Polly's ten points behind,
- 55:56Speaker 4: twenty points behind.
- 55:57Speaker 11: No.
- 55:58Speaker 8: And you know what else it is like when you're
- 55:59Speaker 8: here culmost things like oh if I don't win, I'm
- 56:01Speaker 8: moving to Florida. You really don't want the candidate who's
- 56:05Speaker 8: already halfway out the door. You know, as a gambling man,
- 56:09Speaker 8: it's like, think about death, New York. If the Yankees
- 56:12Speaker 8: are playing in a game seven and you're interviewing them
- 56:15Speaker 8: before the game and they're already looking at luxury resorts
- 56:18Speaker 8: in the Caribbean. This is not a team that's fighting
- 56:21Speaker 8: to advance to the next round. You know, once that
- 56:25Speaker 8: swim up bar is on the team's mind, generally gonna
- 56:29Speaker 8: kind of, you know, go halfway on the fields.
- 56:33Speaker 4: Hey, speaking to us, that's turns out to be a
- 56:35Speaker 4: pretty good World Series, right, it has been great.
- 56:40Speaker 8: You know, as a Yankee fan obviously, you know, I
- 56:43Speaker 8: don't really care about either team so much as I
- 56:47Speaker 8: was convincing myself the roof of the Dodgers because I'm like,
- 56:49Speaker 8: all right, well, at least it's America, and I get
- 56:51Speaker 8: the root for an American team over Canada. But then
- 56:53Speaker 8: you turn on the game and everybody playing for the
- 56:55Speaker 8: Blue Jays is from America. You know, It's not like
- 56:58Speaker 8: there are a bunch of Canucks getting paid in made
- 57:00Speaker 8: peple syrup and saying he and calling the umba hoser.
- 57:03Speaker 8: So it's just like if you if you love baseball though,
- 57:07Speaker 8: you just like the bat. It's been a great series,
- 57:09Speaker 8: and my concern is after watching the last two nights,
- 57:13Speaker 8: maybe showey Otani has money on the blue shit. I
- 57:15Speaker 8: don't know, remember he was a rumored gambler for.
- 57:18Speaker 11: A while there.
- 57:20Speaker 4: Maybe yeah, Hey, CBS, they're firing everybody. They just got
- 57:26Speaker 4: rid of the Saturday Morning Show. Their word wasard what
- 57:29Speaker 4: they want Brett Baer, he's under contract that you have
- 57:31Speaker 4: the best late night show on television. I think they're
- 57:35Speaker 4: going to be coming after you pretty soon. Don't you think.
- 57:39Speaker 8: They ain't touching me?
- 57:40Speaker 4: Man? They want like adults.
- 57:42Speaker 8: Okay, like Brett Bear hosts Special Report. My show is
- 57:46Speaker 8: special at Okay, it's a good time, but it's not
- 57:49Speaker 8: the way you rehabilitate the image of a news room.
- 57:53Speaker 3: You know.
- 57:54Speaker 8: There, you know, as you know, CBS probably stood for
- 57:57Speaker 8: constant BS the last couple of years a Trump and
- 58:00Speaker 8: they need to get away from that. I don't know
- 58:03Speaker 8: that I'm the answer with my rhinestone jackets, but I
- 58:06Speaker 8: love CBS and I want I want them to do good.
- 58:09Speaker 8: You know, I grew up watching Charles Osgood on Sunday Morning.
- 58:12Speaker 8: You know, him and his bow tie. And obviously I
- 58:15Speaker 8: was a letterman guy and I was you know, big
- 58:17Speaker 8: Fanta CVS. So the fact that they're going through this
- 58:20Speaker 8: is crazy. But they did bring it on themselves. And
- 58:22Speaker 8: did you see how they're laying off the whole racism
- 58:25Speaker 8: department fatally? What it is is it's like you know,
- 58:31Speaker 8: they they it was the Department of They were calling
- 58:34Speaker 8: it like diversity and every intolerance and everything else. But
- 58:37Speaker 8: you know that's the in the modern news era, that's
- 58:40Speaker 8: just your job is to tell.
- 58:41Speaker 4: Us why it's racist.
- 58:42Speaker 8: You know, hey, Trump, Trump's giving away puppies. Well, you
- 58:45Speaker 8: know Hitler had a dog. What what are these people doing?
- 58:49Speaker 8: So that's gonna help them just the same, like forget programming,
- 58:53Speaker 8: if they just get rid of the people that are
- 58:56Speaker 8: peddling the fake grievances, because you know, half the people
- 58:59Speaker 8: they just fired probably worth that stupid no Kings thing,
- 59:03Speaker 8: don't you think. Yeah, And that's pretend if you're protesting, pretending, Mark,
- 59:09Speaker 8: this would be like if you and I had a
- 59:11Speaker 8: protest called no Sidney Sweeney, We're not going to sleep
- 59:14Speaker 8: with Sidney Sweeney, join us on the quad. The news flash,
- 59:18Speaker 8: it wasn't an option for us, so why did we
- 59:21Speaker 8: need the protest? It's the point.
- 59:23Speaker 4: Yeah, so, but these Democrats are so angry about everything,
- 59:28Speaker 4: like Trump building a ballroom. It looks spectacular. How could
- 59:31Speaker 4: you get mad about a ballroom?
- 59:35Speaker 8: Yeah, that one I love, knowing full well they're all
- 59:38Speaker 8: going to use it. But I think that is the
- 59:40Speaker 8: reason they're mad is that it is one hundred and
- 59:42Speaker 8: twenty three years old in the East Wing, which is
- 59:44Speaker 8: the same age as the No Kings protesters.
- 59:47Speaker 11: So it's like they feel a loyalty.
- 59:49Speaker 8: It's like, if you don't protect the one one hundred
- 59:51Speaker 8: and twenty three year old, you're not protecting any of them.
- 59:54Speaker 8: I guess, I guess the answer. But I think the
- 59:56Speaker 8: bigger point is all jokes aside as you know, they
- 59:59Speaker 8: don't mean. They're just pretending to be mad about everything.
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: Dana Perino had a good line last week. She's saying, like,
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: you know, I wish Democrats understood they don't have to
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: swing it every pitch, because if you swing it every pitch,
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: it's inevitable that you wind up looking bad. Like if
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: you're protesting a ballroom.
- 1:00:16Speaker 11: Nobody cares about the.
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: Ballroom, and the donors are paying for it, you won't
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: ever get anything for free out of the in the
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: White House. The only thing someone ever got for free
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: was a cigar, and that was an intern in Bill Clinton.
- 1:00:29Speaker 8: And that's another story.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and that was probably a gift from a donor,
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: the cigars. So go, uh hey, you know you're a comedian,
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: you do political stuff. I mean, if somebody's watching on TV,
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: you'll smiling, laughing, you look like you're having fun. You'll
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: watch these left wing comedians. He's cold Bear type, these
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Kimmel type sting they look so like they're gonna choke
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: it anymody. Why are they so angry all the time?
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: I know, because if I was making that kind of money,
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: I mean, if you think I smile a lot, now
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: give me even Cold Air's Valerie, give me, give me
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: Jimmy Kimmel's gig where he hosts the Oscars and his
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: only real job is to make sure Will Smith doesn't
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: beat up Chris Rock and he failed at that too.
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: But you know what, by the way, when Will Smith
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: hit Chris Rock at the Oscars, that was the only
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: time liberals acknowledged black on black cron So.
- 1:01:20Speaker 11: Let's not forget me.
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: Let's not forget the significance of that moment.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Mark, I'm not gloss over.
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: It, but yeah, light up your comedian. You're supposed to
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: be there to give the world a good time, and
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: if you don't look happy, they're not.
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: Going to be happy.
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: So I'm with you on that one.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: Everybody I watched Jimmy Phil has got the best late
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: night show. It's Saturday nights at ten o'clock. Hey, I've
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: also got to thank you. You were on Cudlow I
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: think was last week. I was watching. You gave me
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: a great shout out on the show. That was very nice.
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: Here damn right, I did you Mark the moone man.
- 1:01:51Speaker 11: We're a dream team.
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: And you know, Colo said to me afterwards really quick,
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: I go, uh, he thanked me for being on the
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: show because I was talking about gambling. And he goes,
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: you know, He's like, I've been to all types of addictions.
- 1:02:01Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: I Cudlow had a drug addiction. He's substantise addictions. He goes,
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: but I've never heard an addict talk about their vice
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: with the level of depth that you did. And I go, Larry,
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: I wasn't a gambling I didn't go to ga gambles Anonymous.
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: He goes, oh, well, maybe you should. Then he's like,
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: if you know that much about it, you probably should go.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: I was like, all right, I'll work on it. Well,
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: I think you're okay. But everybody watched Jimmy Philis. It's
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: a great late night show Saturday's at ten o'clock and
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: the best radio show news show here. It's on every
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: night nine to midnight. Who do you have tonight on
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: the show?
- 1:02:36Speaker 11: Oh, it's all.
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: Going down tonight. You got Erica Donald's and Byron Donalds.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: He's going to be like Governor Florida. She's the first.
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: Lady Kennedy's going to be there as well. And there
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: you have the Patriot Awards coming up next week, so
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: we've got to do a big promo for that. So
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: they're probably going to send half the network in to
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: call me names for twenty minutes.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: No, thataway's a surprise. The door go ahead, Patrio towards.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: That's at the center.
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: Yes, that's a week from today at Long Island University.
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: And if they want those tickets, it's Foxnation dot Com
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: slash Patriot Awards. Everybody gets in a tux. It's the
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: Oscars for people who deserve them. Yeah, like these guys
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: didn't make thirty million dollars to pretend they were in
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: the military. It's military people, it's cops, it's first responders.
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: So I actually love the Patriot Awards because it's like,
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: what if you actually gave the oscars to the people
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: who did the thing instead of doing cocaine and pretending
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: to do the thing.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: You know, Yeah, and everybody if you go there, people
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: loved it. Last year was you and Sean Hannity and
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: all the great stars of Fox all at one night.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: And where do you get the tickets?
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: It's Fox Nation dot com slash Patriot Awards. They want
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: to come hang on Strong Island, NASA County.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: My hood. I'll be there.
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: My high school graduation was in that auditorium, so this
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: will be my first time there.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: Sober Well, I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, it's the
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Tilli Center. Get the tickets and watch Jimmy Failos Saturday
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: nights ten o'clock and make sure you'll listen to his
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: radio show tonight every weeknight nine to midnight. Jimmy fail
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: is on wr Jimmy Fayla, thanks for being with.
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: Us now, you're the man.

- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Take care, Take care. It's a great show tonight at
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: nine on seven to ten wr.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: Hey's The Mark Simon Show on seven ten wr HEY.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: So actually I'm taking tomorrow off a one day vacation.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: I'll be back on Monday, so hopefully it will be
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: the day before the election. Don't forget if you're a
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: podcast listener, which is a good thing to be because
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: you can hear the show anytime you want, day or night,
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: or if you missed the show, missed an hour. But
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: if you're a podcast listener, there's a bonus segment on
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: the weekends, like an extra show that wasn't on the air.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: If you're a podcast listener, you can get the podcast
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: any place you get podcasts. But I'll be back Monday
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: and i'll talk to you then tend to noon. Have
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: a great weekend, seven to ten w O
