  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan Luger thanks so much for being here Friday, March 20th, fired up to get into our mock draft for the week that we do here on the channel every Friday leading up to the NFL draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's, I'm in gosh, we're only a little over a month away now, opening night of the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think is April 23rd, maybe opening night of the draft for the Jag Wars April 24th.

  [SPEAKER_00]: first round pick, and to get up from 56 to 32, that would take, I mean, just probably in saying haul.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't expect them to trade all the way up into the first round honestly, but I would not be surprised if they're at 56, they're looking at some of the guys falling into the mid 40s, late 40s, and they say,

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is a player that we value as like a top 32 player on our board.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Let's bring them in and we can be aggressive because we have a ton of draft capital.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We have this math a lot of draft capital as well for the 2027 season which we actually.

  [SPEAKER_00]: have a first round pick who knows if they'll actually end up using that first round pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The point is the jacks have plenty of draft capital trade up and they trade up with the falcons here who the falcons have a significant lack of draft capital and so the falcons take a

  [SPEAKER_00]: fifth round pick along with pick 56 overall in exchange for pick 48 and the Jaguars trade up and this is something I thought about earlier in the week and it worked here out, it worked out here good on the Murray's one day out, everybody say hi to Murray.

  [SPEAKER_00]: worked out here on the PFF mock draft simulator where Armace and Thomas, the Eddresher out of Oklahoma ended up being available at 48 overall.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So the Jags move up to grab him and I think he's just really the perfect change up for what the Jags were as have with their Eddres room.

  [SPEAKER_00]: rush through your face guys and that's kind of putting Josh Hines Allen and Trayvon Walker in a box.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's really an elite rusher and then Trayvon Walker win healthy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: is a monster as well, but our Mason Thomas is six foot two, 241 pounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We've seen where James Latzon comes from, the Los Angeles Rams, deploy ad pressures that are more in this mold, not all of them, like Jared Versus, certainly in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Askicker runs through your face, right, blue washer, and maybe the Jack Wars would like somebody like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Derek Moore brings a lot of that to the table, but our Mason Thomas to me is more twitched up, has more ways to win as a pass-rusher, and I think he immediately ignites that pass-rusher, and you talk about getting him out there who he can bend around the edge.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's lightning quick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He can cross your face like tackles.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They get worried about him winning on the outside arc and so they're oversetting and as soon as you do that he will cross your face and get inside and he's a banshee and so I really like his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think great addition it would be for the Jack Wars here for a player that I do think should go a little bit earlier in the draft but in this situation he falls to 48 and the jacks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Based on Armace and Thomas coming in, of past rushers out there, you know, your four past rushers on a clear,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Clear passing down, are mason Thomas, Josh Heinz Allen, Trayvon Walker, Eric Armstrong, I could get excited about that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not the only past rush addition we have in this draft, but that's definitely one I've got, I'm pretty excited about.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then at 81, we went with Sam Roush, the tight end out of Stanford.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's somebody we've talked about on the channel.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I've actually mocked Sam Roush to the Jag wars, but I do think they would absolutely love his skill set.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is basically a six offensive lineman.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like he is that good of a blocker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's that big six foot six, 267 pounds, 10 inch hands.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a really good blocker, but also a really good athlete and a very productive pass catcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 267, with a 1-6-1-10 split, pretty damn good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 38 and a half-inch, very explosive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He did all the drills, which he loved to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Really good athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, this as an addition to Britain's strange makes a ton of sense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not the most skilled, just natural past catcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's just not at the tight end position, but he is good enough to make an impact there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you talk about not knowing what the Jaguars are doing when Britain's strange and Sam Rausher on the field together, they can both impact the game as run blockers, they can both impact the game in the passing game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And again, like his numbers receiving a lot of it is underneath, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: But he had 49 catches this past year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 545 yards.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His career drop rate is 9.8.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a little bit higher than you would want.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His contested catch rate is not great, but again, as somebody who is going to massively upgrade, you're blocking both in the run and past department, and then also is a better receiver than like a Johnny month, Quentin Morris,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that that could be very appealing for the jag wars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Personally, I'm more of a Oscar Delp Jack injuries, like I think these guys lean a little bit more towards the receiving side, Marlon Klein, but I do think Sam Rauch could make sense for them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so that's why I just put the name out out there in this one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really like the idea of offensive line at some point early in the draft just because you've got to keep replenishing the offensive line, you just have to.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So we went at the cage case, he had a boysy state played tackle there, I think he can definitely play tackle or guard at the next level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty good athlete like his RAS is in like the sixes, so nothing crazy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think when you pop on his tape, there's just so much balance, consistency.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Engels and frames his blocks up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's just a consistent player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think will be a at worst very good backup and potentially pretty good starter in the NFL and then at 100 overall the final pick of day two

  [SPEAKER_00]: Round three, Landon Robinson, the defensive lineman out of Navy, we talk about him all the time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'd be fine with the Jaguar's taking him at any point in the draft because I think he's going to be a great interior past-rusher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I also think as a three-tech, he can defend the run too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's undersized like two-90, but he's a great athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he's flexible.

  [SPEAKER_00]: like you see him consistently being able to drop those knees, drop that weight, use the flexibility throughout his frame to hold up against bigger offensive linemen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then as a russia, he is so quick and explosive off the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just love his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that again, you talk about getting some speed, some youth on the defensive front and the pastrocious department.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Armace and Thomas and Landon Robinson provide that in spades.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then starting off day three, we're going back to back the well at Oregon.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We're going Bryce Bautcher, Lionbacker, out of Oregon here at 124 overall, this is a player who I'm just a huge fan of his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He got drafted to play baseball too, but another great athlete who I think just does everything at a high enough level to project him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: to potentially be a starter, but at the very least be somebody who you can get excited about as a backup at Linebacker, and I think the Jaguar is currently on their roster of Vintrell Miller.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's projects to be a good starter in this system, but you bring in Bryce Bautcher to compete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Branson Colms isn't going to make it easy, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Bryce Bautcher is just that good of an athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't test it the combine, but he did test at his pro-day and he ran like a 4, 6, 40 or a dash.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He jumped, I think, over 40 inches, incredibly explosive player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I love the mindset he plays with too, like he's a, he's a, he's a thumper, super aggressive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he has good zone eyes and in coverage, I think he's a good run defender.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You can tell he's a good athlete, like he can run and hit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't miss many tackles, diagnosis things well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Focus full time on football now and I think you got a player who can really shine at the next level and the type of guy who probably

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Anthony Campanila would be a pretty big fan of, just like mindset-wise, the way he approaches the game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Bryce Bautcher, they're at 124, and then in round five, 166, we go and get Jaden Kennedy, who attended, sandalwood high school, in Jacksonville, Florida, had three stops in college, but cornerback, who is a little undersized at five, 10 and a half, 180 pounds, not a big guy,

  [SPEAKER_00]: He projects to, in my opinion, be able to play outside in this, in this scheme, in the Jaguar scheme, but definitely inside as a slot corner in any scheme.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so he's somebody who I just think if he was a little bit bigger, a little bit stronger, would probably have a lot more hype on him, smart, instinctive, incredibly sticky, fluid, hits, quick feet, like he has everything you're looking for outside of that size.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, and he's not ever been a player who misses a lot of tackles either.

  [SPEAKER_00]: or shies away really from having to help and run support.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 203 here, this is a player who I don't think's going to be available, but he just does not have a lot of buzz.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so I think in the NFL he has buzz.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think online he doesn't have a lot of buzz, but it's Mason Reager out of Wisconsin and I believe

  [SPEAKER_00]: Can't remember who reported that Rieger has had some drawn some interest from the Jaguars, but I think it was Tony Pauline.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's six foot five, two, fifty, one, thirty, two, and five eight's arms.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Big hands, ten and a half in chance.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He tested out of his mind.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At his size, he jumped 40 inches, 251 pounds, 161, 10 split, which is really good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His 4, 7, 8, 40 are dashed, not as impressive, but 10 split is more important for an edge rusher, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: You're not trying to have this guy rush 40 yards down the field all that often, but another,

  [SPEAKER_00]: guy who I do think can play the run at a high level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's strong and you do see him, he's a little bit linear.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like he's a little, I guess like you would say, high-wasted plays a little upright at times, but incredibly active hands, very explosive get off.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he has good ankle flexion when he's chasing quarterbacks down and they step up in the pocket.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He does a good job of changing directions and chasing them down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Very productive player and so somebody who I think could come in and compete and you're saying well geez What about Danny Strickham and BJ Green?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Look I like those guys a lot, but you got to earn it like a nothing is given and those guys as hard as they work as good as they are as undrafted for agents this year You got to get better on the defense of front and you got to do it somewhere.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, let's either put up or shut up, level up, or you know, you might be on the practice squad.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Mason Regger helps out in that regard for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then to finish out the draft, I went and got Jay Michael's stirred event, and Lewis Bond, two wide receivers late in the draft here, and it doesn't have to be either of these two guys.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I do think each of them is NFL caliber.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and I think can can make a team, but the jags have a really good top three at receiver right now, and then you throw in Travis Hunter as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But beyond that, there's just not much to get excited about.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Lewis Bond is a pro receiver who can get open quickly.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he fits the Jaguar scheme pretty well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jay Michael Stertavan is a, well, obviously former gator and UCLA,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Somebody who has just NFL size and traits, and then we also went and got Cole Peyton out of North Dakota State.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I was thinking about maybe upgrading the backup to the backup and the scout team quarterback to someone who is like a big, big time athlete who I think has a lot of skills.
