- 2:39Speaker 1: You boys, I fucking missed you boys with my whole heart.
- 2:42Speaker 4: I can't believe it how far apart we've all been.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It's been. It's been two weeks. It feels like two weeks. Actually,
- 2:49Speaker 1: it feels just like two weeks.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Two weeks on the dot, except that we were scattered
- 2:53Speaker 4: to the far corners of the globe doing such different
- 2:56Speaker 4: things with our lives. That's true. And I'm I felt unmoored?
- 3:02Speaker 1: MMM's more? Wasn't king lear?
- 3:06Speaker 4: Was a no?
- 3:08Speaker 5: No?
- 3:08Speaker 4: I mean unmoored as an untethered, untied.
- 3:11Speaker 1: A more Shakespearean word for a black man.
- 3:13Speaker 4: It was, yes the moors.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah you feel unmoored? Do you feel white?
- 3:17Speaker 4: A fellow? Was the more?
- 3:18Speaker 1: A fellow?
- 3:19Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:20Speaker 1: I knew it. Thank you for saving me because they
- 3:22Speaker 1: would have been on my.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Head, they would have they would have been. A fellow
- 3:26Speaker 4: is a play that doesn't get that much love. But
- 3:28Speaker 4: I actually quite like it. It's good. Yes, the game
- 3:32Speaker 4: A fellow, the game is great too. But I think
- 3:34Speaker 4: they they changed the name of that because I think
- 3:38Speaker 4: it had some reference to the pieces being black and white.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Ah, good guys, bad guys, that's what it used to
- 3:45Speaker 5: be called.
- 3:45Speaker 1: You guys hear that. You guys hear that. The phrase
- 3:56Speaker 1: elephant in the room has racist origins, So I can't
- 4:00Speaker 1: even say it. It was originally called Edward in the woodpile.
- 4:07Speaker 1: So every time you've been saying elephants in the room,
- 4:09Speaker 1: which I know, we we love to say, we've been
- 4:13Speaker 1: we've been closatively racist.
- 4:14Speaker 5: I actually listened to Elephant in the Room the special
- 4:16Speaker 5: Yo Night.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Who special was that?
- 4:21Speaker 5: Yeah, we listened to it on the drive back from
- 4:22Speaker 5: from Wyoming.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So he's allowed to say it. He's allowed to say elephant.
- 4:26Speaker 4: I believe. So.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Et monkey bars is a pretty controversial one as well,
- 4:30Speaker 5: or at least they tried to make it out to be,
- 4:32Speaker 5: which I don't really understand.
- 4:33Speaker 4: What what is it?
- 4:35Speaker 5: I guess it was racist. I tried to when I
- 4:37Speaker 5: was in Swear. I guess I was out of well.
- 4:39Speaker 4: I prefer monkey bars. I prefer like sort of black
- 4:42Speaker 4: owned establishments and night clubs.
- 4:44Speaker 5: But they tried to call they tried to change it
- 4:46Speaker 5: to a horizontal ladder.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Oh, you're talking about the structure, the the.
- 4:54Speaker 1: The a monkey actually swings from things though, Yeah, exactly,
- 4:57Speaker 1: that's why it's actually racist to call it race.
- 5:00Speaker 5: That's what that's my exact That's exactly what I thought
- 5:02Speaker 5: when they said that. I was like, you're making it
- 5:04Speaker 5: seem racist by changing the name.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's the behave, that's the anatomical behavior.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Exactly what a monkey would do or a black person.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Yeah do they.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Well, actually in New York. I mean the most jack
- 5:20Speaker 1: dudes are the guys who go and do like pull
- 5:22Speaker 1: ups and like reverse pull ups and ship like that,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and then there'll be white influencers who tried to go
- 5:27Speaker 1: like work out with them.
- 5:28Speaker 5: I used to watch those videos all the time of
- 5:30Speaker 5: like the military dudes doing that where they do like
- 5:32Speaker 5: a flag pole. That's got to be like the most impressive.
- 5:35Speaker 4: It's crazy.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Is that where you know where does that engage?
- 5:40Speaker 4: I think it's really arms shoulders probably.
- 5:44Speaker 5: You have to have insane core strength to be able
- 5:46Speaker 5: to hold yourself up like a flag.
- 5:48Speaker 1: How long do you think that would take you to
- 5:50Speaker 1: get to flag status France.
- 5:51Speaker 5: I think some people just can't.
- 5:52Speaker 4: I wouldn't be I think I'm too long. You got
- 5:55Speaker 4: to be really you would have to.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Be absurdly strong to be able to pull that off
- 5:59Speaker 5: at your size.
- 6:00Speaker 4: If I trained for it, how long will you give me?
- 6:03Speaker 5: Two years?
- 6:04Speaker 4: No, that's too long.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I think you can do it in six months.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I think I can do it in six months.
- 6:08Speaker 5: I don't think you can do I think you would
- 6:09Speaker 5: go to like I think it's one of those things
- 6:12Speaker 5: like you would have to go to try to do it,
- 6:14Speaker 5: and then you'd be like, oh, I can't even get
- 6:16Speaker 5: one foot off the ground, and then you'd have to
- 6:18Speaker 5: start working out like intensely for years, and then you'd
- 6:21Speaker 5: be able to try it again and maybe be a
- 6:23Speaker 5: little closer.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I think I think I'm closer than you'd think.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He's got the core and the genetics for it.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Was your dad an athlete?
- 6:31Speaker 4: What do you play football? Nice?
- 6:35Speaker 5: Football is coming back?
- 6:37Speaker 4: He was? They did the wing t? Yes a right
- 6:43Speaker 4: to him and he ran, yeah, yeah, it was. It
- 6:45Speaker 4: was with a single what's the name of that formation?
- 6:49Speaker 1: So power ie wing t.
- 6:50Speaker 4: It's not the wing T like the jets sweep like
- 6:53Speaker 4: when they snap it right to a running back.
- 6:55Speaker 1: He was a full back wildcat.
- 6:57Speaker 4: I guess it's wildcat, but he wasn't quarterback.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, but I could see. It makes
- 7:03Speaker 1: a lot of sense, and he was probably the man
- 7:06Speaker 1: because that's probably before football had everybody in it.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right. They didn't wear helmets back then.
- 7:12Speaker 7: Really.
- 7:12Speaker 4: No, they were just out there cracking skulls. No, he
- 7:16Speaker 4: was wearing helmet. Uh, he was one. I was like,
- 7:23Speaker 4: why did I even say that?
- 7:25Speaker 5: Well, I was the whole time I was thinking. I
- 7:27Speaker 5: was like, I don't think your dad. How old is
- 7:29Speaker 5: your dad?
- 7:30Speaker 4: Nobody knows. Nobody knows.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Leather helmets. What was the point of leather helmets anyway?
- 7:37Speaker 1: In case you fell off your motorcycle.
- 7:40Speaker 4: You needed to go home on your motorcycle and your sidecar.
- 7:44Speaker 4: It doesn't make any sense where you were flying a biplane.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Amelia Earhart to offer supplies wide under.
- 7:53Speaker 5: The craziest one to me is like in comparison is
- 7:56Speaker 5: old hockey, because it's all like like all these wing
- 7:59Speaker 5: Gretzky staff and you're like, well, then you look at
- 8:01Speaker 5: the get you look at the footage of when he
- 8:03Speaker 5: was playing, and it's like, yeah, no, no, wonder he
- 8:05Speaker 5: had so many goals. The goalie had no pads like
- 8:08Speaker 5: in today's hockey, the goalies take up almost the entire goal.
- 8:11Speaker 1: It's a wonder anyone scores.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Yeah, and then it was just like a dude just
- 8:15Speaker 5: standing there like scoring full starfish, like hoping, hoping the
- 8:19Speaker 5: pluck bounces off of his wrists.
- 8:23Speaker 4: If you watch Wayne Gretzky goal highlights from the early
- 8:25Speaker 4: days in his career, you're kind of like nobody even
- 8:30Speaker 4: tried to stop.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Now they're like long haired, toothless, drunk guys.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Everyone was hammered.
- 8:36Speaker 5: It was like everyone was drunk, and he was not
- 8:39Speaker 5: even at the age where he could drink yet. So
- 8:41Speaker 5: that's why he was so much better than everyone else.
- 8:43Speaker 4: But the flip side is the flip side is that
- 8:46Speaker 4: people would hit him incredibly illegally.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's not surprising.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but then there'd be like whole lines Like most
- 8:53Speaker 1: there's some teams that just could fight. Yeah, Like there's
- 8:55Speaker 1: some teams they weren't even good hockey players, they just
- 8:57Speaker 1: were good at fighting on skates.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Have you guys watched that document enery on the You've
- 9:01Speaker 5: probably place seen it, the untold one where the I
- 9:03Speaker 5: think it's in Connecticut.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Yeah, the Danbury trash Yeah have you seen that.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 9:07Speaker 4: It's probably one of the best.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Their whole Their whole thing was just we're it's going
- 9:10Speaker 5: to beat the ship out of people. Like they would
- 9:12Speaker 5: they would fight people like opening puck drop really like
- 9:16Speaker 5: just as soon as they dropped the puck they would
- 9:17Speaker 5: just like kill some guy and send him to the
- 9:20Speaker 5: hospital and then they But then they were also good.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I think the Broadstree Bullies Flyers teams like went into
- 9:26Speaker 1: the crowd and like fought people multiple times.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, all those over the Yeah, the Bruins had
- 9:32Speaker 5: had a couple where they went into the they went
- 9:34Speaker 5: into the stands.
- 9:35Speaker 1: That's so crazy that they say that.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Yeah, that happened in Philly.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It was like a guy was he like squirting he squared.
- 9:42Speaker 4: No TYDOMEI squirted the water over and then the guy
- 9:44Speaker 4: he was in the penalty box and then the guy
- 9:46Speaker 4: started like trying to grab him, and then that guy
- 9:48Speaker 4: like fell in ass crack first and it's like, dude,
- 9:50Speaker 4: you just fell into the fucking bear den. Yeah, that's
- 9:55Speaker 4: there are very few places I would less want to
- 9:58Speaker 4: be than in a penalty box with my feet in
- 10:02Speaker 4: the air and my head under the fucking metal bench
- 10:04Speaker 4: with Tie Domey pulling my fucking outpack a sweater over
- 10:09Speaker 4: my head, beating the ship out.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Of the Craziest thing is that there's there's someone's job
- 10:13Speaker 5: is to just sit in there with the dude. I know,
- 10:15Speaker 5: and I looked at it. I finally looked it up
- 10:17Speaker 5: because I was wondering what that was. Apparently it's just
- 10:19Speaker 5: so they keep track of when they're when they can
- 10:21Speaker 5: open the door and let them mount. It makes sense,
- 10:23Speaker 5: but still, because you watch the clips and it's like
- 10:26Speaker 5: fucking I don't know, some like someone will get a
- 10:30Speaker 5: penalty and then they'll go into the they'll go into
- 10:32Speaker 5: the penalty box and they'll be like throwing water bottles around,
- 10:34Speaker 5: and then the camera pans over and there's just a
- 10:36Speaker 5: dude just standing there with a head set on, or like.
- 10:40Speaker 1: There's like an announcer that's in there sometimes too, like
- 10:43Speaker 1: a sideline report type of dude with a suit jacket. Yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'm surprised they don't have a sniper in the rafters
- 10:49Speaker 1: to like.
- 10:49Speaker 5: They probably do, just like a tranquilizer gun.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah, to shoot the person like a lion if a
- 10:55Speaker 1: kid falls into the cage.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Type of ship type shit type shit type shit.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck yeah, missed you boys. What the fuck have
- 11:04Speaker 1: you guys went up to?
- 11:05Speaker 4: Let's start with let's start with hairball.
- 11:08Speaker 5: I don't really have much to say.
- 11:09Speaker 4: I don't know. We're gonna find out more.
- 11:12Speaker 1: That's not up to you, brother.
- 11:13Speaker 5: There wasn't that much crazy shit that happened. It was
- 11:15Speaker 5: pretty easy going.
- 11:16Speaker 4: It doesn't have to be crazy shit. Told me about
- 11:19Speaker 4: you're in.
- 11:19Speaker 1: The lines for us. You went to Montana to go fishing, No,
- 11:23Speaker 1: Wyoming exactly, now you're teachers.
- 11:29Speaker 5: We went to Wyoming and uh, yeah it was. The
- 11:31Speaker 5: fishing was insane.
- 11:32Speaker 4: It was.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Uh the first day was pretty rough because we got
- 11:37Speaker 5: out there at like three thirty pm and then we
- 11:40Speaker 5: fished for like four hours, three hours maybe. And it
- 11:44Speaker 5: was the first place that we went to was in
- 11:46Speaker 5: a canyon. So you gotta like walk down this like
- 11:49Speaker 5: insanely steep canyon. Then you gotta walk up it. And
- 11:53Speaker 5: on the way up, I was so unbelievably out of breath,
- 11:58Speaker 5: like like wheezing for air. Yeah, And we got back
- 12:01Speaker 5: to our tent and I was genuinely like, I don't
- 12:05Speaker 5: know if I'm gonna be able to do this trip.
- 12:07Speaker 5: It was like, I genuinely I don't know if I'm
- 12:09Speaker 5: gonna be able to do this entire thing.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Will you act how this trip?
- 12:13Speaker 3: Well?
- 12:13Speaker 4: I was and then I didn't.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Ye, yeah, you didn't so much as one StairMaster.
- 12:18Speaker 4: No, I went through.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 5: That was the thing is I would go to the
- 12:22Speaker 5: gym and I would just do weights and I'd be like,
- 12:24Speaker 5: this is good, this will do it, this will help.
- 12:25Speaker 5: And then I got out. Yeah, I was like, well,
- 12:28Speaker 5: I'm definitely stronger, but my cardios fucking I still get
- 12:33Speaker 5: out of breath when I do three sets of eight
- 12:35Speaker 5: on the bench press. So I knew it was going
- 12:37Speaker 5: to be trouble when I wasn't. I was gassed going
- 12:40Speaker 5: down hill, like going down into the canyon. I was
- 12:43Speaker 5: completely winded sweating through my I swept through my rain
- 12:47Speaker 5: jacket one day.
- 12:49Speaker 1: How is that possible? That's like, that's a defective.
- 12:52Speaker 5: It was a bad rain jacket. Rain jacket was a
- 12:54Speaker 5: completely it is a complete disaster.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Didn't they prevent water from wiking through?
- 12:58Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:59Speaker 5: I think the only good rain jackets the ones that
- 13:01Speaker 5: like the old sailors wear where it's like just rubber.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Yeah, the yellow ones slickers.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Because I have an Orvist rain jacket and it it
- 13:08Speaker 5: holds up when it's like drizzling, but like when it
- 13:12Speaker 5: rains out there, it rains really hard and it it
- 13:15Speaker 5: went completely through.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You know who's gonna be happy to hear this, sorry
- 13:18Speaker 1: to cut you off, is the good people over at Patagonia,
- 13:21Speaker 1: because when you went into Patagonia.
- 13:23Speaker 5: No, Patagonias aren't good either, but you were.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Walking into Patagonia being like, I got fucking Orvist, Dude,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I'll never feel rain on my skin.
- 13:29Speaker 5: I well, I did say that storm gear Ultra light
- 13:33Speaker 5: storm gear, and uh, I think the best ones are
- 13:37Speaker 5: the I think they're north Face.
- 13:38Speaker 4: I got I gotta shout out being here, bean guy,
- 13:41Speaker 4: make they make a great range jacket.
- 13:43Speaker 5: I have to check that out because I'm in the
- 13:44Speaker 5: market for a new one right now because mine just
- 13:46Speaker 5: did not get the job done at all.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Well, you're never gonna be in more rain than like
- 13:51Speaker 1: two minutes as you walk from your uber to your apartment.
- 13:54Speaker 5: I know, I kind of feel like I feel like
- 13:56Speaker 5: I gotta I gotta keep this up. Because I feel good,
- 13:58Speaker 5: like i've I was getting like twenty steps a day
- 14:01Speaker 5: for a week straight, twenty thousand steps a day, like
- 14:04Speaker 5: like a week straight, and I felt great and like
- 14:07Speaker 5: I was eating. We were eating just like home cooked
- 14:09Speaker 5: meals every night, and so I feel good. But I
- 14:11Speaker 5: know tonight it's just gonna be Chick fil a fucking
- 14:15Speaker 5: uber eat saying, Gommy.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Bears, you always go back from vacation straight to the slop,
- 14:20Speaker 1: and you're like, I'm gonna fucking I'm gonna make a
- 14:22Speaker 1: change for the better. Yeah, I'm gonna fucking I'm gonna
- 14:26Speaker 1: come back. I'm gonna fucking lose eight pounds this week.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna fucking eat healthy, eat right, cook for myself,
- 14:31Speaker 1: eat some veggies, get back on the grind. I just
- 14:34Speaker 1: had landwitch today. I'm just eating like a fat slop.
- 14:37Speaker 5: Yesterday I had I had a breakfast neg sandwich and
- 14:40Speaker 5: then McDonald's and then Chipotle. But we were driving, so
- 14:45Speaker 5: there was really nothing else to do.
- 14:47Speaker 1: You pull over and your cook, pull over, your catch
- 14:48Speaker 1: what you fucking eat?
- 14:49Speaker 5: Yeah, we didn't eat any We only ate one fish
- 14:52Speaker 5: the whole trip. Why because the first place we went
- 14:55Speaker 5: to we had a shit ton of food. We had
- 14:57Speaker 5: like round beef and stuff, and we were like, this
- 14:59Speaker 5: is gonna go bad if we don't eat it, so
- 15:00Speaker 5: we have to eat it so it's not.
- 15:02Speaker 4: And also it was in the canyons.
- 15:03Speaker 5: We would have had to carry the fish up like
- 15:05Speaker 5: a forty five minute hike, so they would have been
- 15:07Speaker 5: bad by then unless we had them on in a
- 15:09Speaker 5: cooler or something. What fish, there's no way the fish
- 15:11Speaker 5: go bad, like you can fish go bad?
- 15:13Speaker 4: Pretty fine, No, that's fine. Forty five would have been,
- 15:16Speaker 4: especially if they're that fresh.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Yeah, forty five in the hots on.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, bake them.
- 15:20Speaker 1: What do you think is all the rest of the
- 15:22Speaker 1: fish you're eating is going through when it like, well,
- 15:24Speaker 1: you're supposed to keep it on a stringer, you keep them,
- 15:26Speaker 1: you kill them and you put them on a stringer
- 15:28Speaker 1: and then keep them in the water. But like, all
- 15:30Speaker 1: the fish that you eat isn't going like uh, even
- 15:33Speaker 1: if it's factory farm, there's no way that it's just
- 15:36Speaker 1: going right from the water to where however they kill it,
- 15:39Speaker 1: to fucking ice.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I think it is.
- 15:40Speaker 5: That's actually exactly what it is.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Maybe I'm wrong, dude. I'll get to my Japan story.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Stories in a little bit, but uh, they were serving
- 15:49Speaker 1: fish where the like there's like old Japanese lady being like,
- 15:52Speaker 1: everything you eat eat the head, oh yeah yeah, And
- 15:55Speaker 1: I just bit the head off right and.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Day was it good?
- 15:59Speaker 1: The head?
- 15:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 16:00Speaker 5: No. People always say like the eye, isn't the eyes
- 16:04Speaker 5: very good?
- 16:05Speaker 1: And I mean, I know the cheeks are always trying
- 16:07Speaker 1: to get to the cheeks. I know they're nice, but
- 16:09Speaker 1: I was just, yeah, eating the whole fish just like
- 16:12Speaker 1: a bear, I don't know. It's fucking nasty, damn. But
- 16:14Speaker 1: that makes me think that I mean, they were only
- 16:16Speaker 1: like this big though too.
- 16:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 5: I wonder what it was, mackerel, river fish, trout.
- 16:26Speaker 4: I think it might have been.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So that just disappoints me that you didn't eat the
- 16:31Speaker 1: fish whole fish.
- 16:33Speaker 5: We ate one brown trout at lunch when we were
- 16:35Speaker 5: in the canyon. Buddy just made a little fire and
- 16:37Speaker 5: cooked it up and that was amazing.
- 16:39Speaker 4: That was great.
- 16:40Speaker 5: But I only had like one bite of it, but
- 16:42Speaker 5: it was really because it was small. There's That's the
- 16:45Speaker 5: thing too, is that there's regulations because then so the
- 16:48Speaker 5: first half of the trip we could have kept fish.
- 16:50Speaker 5: The first half of the half of the trip, and
- 16:51Speaker 5: then the second half you can only keep brook trout,
- 16:55Speaker 5: which are kind of hard to catch in a place
- 16:57Speaker 5: that's filled with brown trout and cut wrote trout. So
- 17:03Speaker 5: our last night at that spot, we were like, because
- 17:06Speaker 5: we found this one spot, we were catching brook trout
- 17:08Speaker 5: all day, and we were like, let's let's go back here,
- 17:10Speaker 5: yeah at the end of the at the end of
- 17:11Speaker 5: the week, and let's catch brooksrout and have like a
- 17:13Speaker 5: big let's make fish tacos. And didn't get a single
- 17:18Speaker 5: bite that entire time. We literally we caught fish the
- 17:21Speaker 5: entire week, all week, all day and then the one
- 17:24Speaker 5: time we were like let's go catch fish to cook,
- 17:27Speaker 5: didn't even get a bite the whole time.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Damn.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that's so I.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Sort of you said. There are people regulating who would
- 17:33Speaker 1: have regulated if you had.
- 17:34Speaker 5: There's like park rangers and like game warnings, like all
- 17:37Speaker 5: over that area.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Will they come up and like check your belly.
- 17:40Speaker 5: No, but they like if you get busted, it's like
- 17:43Speaker 5: a huge fine and they take all of your gear.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Yeah, And the spirit of the fishermen is one of
- 17:49Speaker 4: adhering to, you know, regulations in order to help preserve
- 17:53Speaker 4: the fishery exactly.
- 17:55Speaker 1: What so that keeps it big enough for someone else
- 17:57Speaker 1: to catch and eat some day.
- 17:58Speaker 5: We know it's just people like catch and release people
- 18:02Speaker 5: do because then you can someone then you can go
- 18:05Speaker 5: back and those fish are still there.
- 18:06Speaker 4: We know that though every for every fish that we
- 18:09Speaker 4: put back, that could be you know, one hundred more
- 18:14Speaker 4: trout that we could catch next time. Exactly.
- 18:18Speaker 1: That is a beautiful spirit and a nice sentiment. Did
- 18:21Speaker 1: you really catch sixty five fish?
- 18:22Speaker 4: Yeah? Probably you and individually, Yeah, that's excellent if I.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Had to guess, because it was okay. So we fished Sunday.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Sunday I caught Sunday, I caught a brown trout. I
- 18:32Speaker 5: was like, I was like, man, my goal for this
- 18:33Speaker 5: trip is to I want to catch a brown trout.
- 18:35Speaker 5: I never caught a brown trout before my second cast.
- 18:38Speaker 5: I caught a brown trout and I was like, well,
- 18:40Speaker 5: I kind of defeated.
- 18:41Speaker 4: The goal of the trip.
- 18:44Speaker 5: So I caught two trout the first day. The second
- 18:47Speaker 5: day I probably caught like thirteen holy shit. But we
- 18:51Speaker 5: only fished for a couple hours the first day, I see,
- 18:54Speaker 5: and then the second day was just like the morning
- 18:57Speaker 5: was pretty slow, like when we went to lunch, when
- 19:00Speaker 5: we stopped for lunch, I had only caught one fish
- 19:03Speaker 5: and my friends had both caught like three, And because
- 19:06Speaker 5: I was fishing behind them the whole time, and they're like,
- 19:08Speaker 5: you had to jump.
- 19:08Speaker 4: In front of us.
- 19:09Speaker 5: And then it just like turned on and it was
- 19:11Speaker 5: like every single cast you would catch a fish.
- 19:13Speaker 1: It was incredible, damn.
- 19:15Speaker 5: And you're like, and you're in a canyon and you
- 19:17Speaker 5: were so far down.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Do you have any pictures of it?
- 19:20Speaker 6: Uh?
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.
- 19:22Speaker 5: I'll show them to you guys.
- 19:23Speaker 4: But what is that called when you're when you're really
- 19:25Speaker 4: in the zone like that in fishing? Is it? Yeah?
- 19:28Speaker 4: Is it in the in the in the snap? I
- 19:33Speaker 4: don't know when you're really in a snap like that
- 19:39Speaker 4: and they're on the they're on the fly before it
- 19:44Speaker 4: hits the water.
- 19:45Speaker 5: Well, that's what That's the best part about fly fishing
- 19:48Speaker 5: is right when you throw a dry fly hits the
- 19:51Speaker 5: water and instantly hit it fishing.
- 19:54Speaker 4: I when I'm in a snap, I if I have
- 19:57Speaker 4: a dry fly that gets wet, I don't count that
- 20:00Speaker 4: for my tally.
- 20:02Speaker 5: You would have been a.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Mess out there. I wouldn't have eaten around beef, I'll
- 20:07Speaker 4: tell you that much. Yeah, you care if that goes bad.
- 20:11Speaker 4: We're eating browns and lakes and all kinds of trouts.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Now, we didn't catch any lake trouts. We didn't fish
- 20:17Speaker 5: in any lakes.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Well, sometimes they cross over, but that's an evolutionary thing.
- 20:22Speaker 4: All waterways are connected.
- 20:24Speaker 5: That I actually wonder if they do they might crossover.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Of course they do. You can't step in the same
- 20:31Speaker 1: river twice, as Pocahontas said.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Exactly, we didn't.
- 20:33Speaker 4: We didn't see any bears, which was good.
- 20:36Speaker 5: We saw a lot of moose, a ton of moose. Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 5: I got pictures of move vicious. It's pretty creepy because
- 20:43Speaker 5: you were this one area we were in. So the
- 20:44Speaker 5: second half of the trip, we went to this area
- 20:46Speaker 5: and my friend was like, this is moose country. Like,
- 20:49Speaker 5: you gotta be very aware. You gotta like make a
- 20:50Speaker 5: lot of noise when you're walking through the through the Yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 5: when you're walking through the bushes and stuff, because you
- 20:55Speaker 5: could just like walk in front of a moose. And
- 20:57Speaker 5: we like the whole time, I was like, I would
- 21:00Speaker 5: make noise. I would just sing singing the Beatles, was
- 21:03Speaker 5: trying to get them. I think I was singing a taste.
- 21:07Speaker 5: I don't remember what I was doing now something a
- 21:12Speaker 5: little more upbeat, but uh lit.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Writing a song about no body? What does it mean?
- 21:21Speaker 4: Father McKenzie A people do.
- 21:34Speaker 5: But so the so the first day that we were
- 21:36Speaker 5: out on this on this river, the first day we
- 21:38Speaker 5: were out on this river, on the second half of
- 21:40Speaker 5: the trip, we were walking back to the car to
- 21:42Speaker 5: make lunch and we saw a dude fishing and then
- 21:45Speaker 5: we saw a moose like five feet away from him,
- 21:48Speaker 5: just in a bush and you can just see the
- 21:51Speaker 5: the antlers telling Yeah. We went up and we were like,
- 21:53Speaker 5: there's a moose like right there the rack. Yeah, And
- 21:56Speaker 5: he was like, oh, I didn't know that. It was
- 21:58Speaker 5: pretty crazy, could he?
- 22:00Speaker 1: So what could have happened? Worst case scenario, I think
- 22:02Speaker 1: have charged him.
- 22:03Speaker 4: They stamp you. Yeah, they'll they'll stop.
- 22:05Speaker 5: They'll just stomp on you, stop you. They're not like
- 22:08Speaker 5: they don't they won't attack you if like if you
- 22:10Speaker 5: make noise, they'll run away. They're scared of humans.
- 22:13Speaker 1: But I've seen the videos where like someone will be
- 22:15Speaker 1: by moose and the moose will that kind of like yeah,
- 22:17Speaker 1: bucket them, and then you just have to go onto
- 22:20Speaker 1: the ground and like act like you do you play
- 22:22Speaker 1: dead or play like you already got.
- 22:24Speaker 5: I think people say that you can play dead with
- 22:26Speaker 5: grizzly bears. I was pretty worried about grizzlies.
- 22:29Speaker 4: I don't think that's the right idea with grizzlies.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Well, I think there really isn't a right idea. The
- 22:34Speaker 5: only thing you're supposed to you can really do is
- 22:36Speaker 5: go on your back and put your hands over your neck,
- 22:38Speaker 5: which gives you like a small percentage of living on
- 22:41Speaker 5: your back or.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Stomach or on your stomach.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Yeah, everyone says you shouldn't climb a tree. I still
- 22:45Speaker 4: think I'm climbing a tree.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Yeah, well, no bears clime trees. Have you seen a
- 22:51Speaker 5: videos of bears? Some do, some do not all of
- 22:53Speaker 5: them black bears, I know climb trees.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I knew you were going to say that.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Black bears are not scary. Though you invite a black
- 22:59Speaker 1: bear over and you smoke, there's there's stogy with one.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Yeah, black bears are still scary or you probably a menthol.
- 23:05Speaker 5: Yeah maybe a menthol.
- 23:07Speaker 4: And they're very good at climbing trees because they're always
- 23:10Speaker 4: doing those workouts on the streets. Yes, but yeah, it was.
- 23:15Speaker 5: It was pretty sick.
- 23:16Speaker 1: So what did you do all day though.
- 23:18Speaker 5: We literally just fished all so what did you talk about?
- 23:21Speaker 5: We didn't really talk. It was like like this, the
- 23:25Speaker 5: first place we fished, you're really not fishing together. You're
- 23:28Speaker 5: fishing like in a line, but you're pretty spread out
- 23:31Speaker 5: and you're kind of like leapfrogging going to like new holes.
- 23:35Speaker 5: And then the second place we went to, you can
- 23:36Speaker 5: kind of fish together better.
- 23:38Speaker 4: So that was cool.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Who likes it the least?
- 23:41Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Definitely not me because I was like, like, we were
- 23:44Speaker 5: driving home yesterday and I was like, we should stop
- 23:47Speaker 5: at this river right here and just get a couple
- 23:48Speaker 5: of casts in.
- 23:49Speaker 1: You start crying on the way home.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Yeah, the last day. We were last day, but because
- 23:54Speaker 5: we were staying in a hotel the last night and
- 23:58Speaker 5: we were like it was like we got at a
- 24:00Speaker 5: like eight, drove down to the river, got off the
- 24:03Speaker 5: mountain that we were at, and we were like, we're
- 24:04Speaker 5: gonna fish this river until we can check into the hotel.
- 24:07Speaker 5: And at that point everyone had such bad poison ivy.
- 24:11Speaker 4: We casted.
- 24:11Speaker 5: We casted like three times and we were like, let's
- 24:13Speaker 5: get the fuck I gotta go to this hotel.
- 24:15Speaker 1: How'd you guys get poison ivy. You were barefooting around.
- 24:18Speaker 5: I barefooted the first day with I wore Tivas and
- 24:21Speaker 5: uh why because I you're wet waiting so you can
- 24:25Speaker 5: just get your you don't want to. I didn't bring
- 24:27Speaker 5: shoes that I wanted to get wet.
- 24:29Speaker 1: You didn't bring waiters.
- 24:30Speaker 5: No, it's too hot to wear waiters out there, damn.
- 24:33Speaker 5: So then the second day I was like, I'm not
- 24:36Speaker 5: doing that. My feet got destroyed from just like cutting
- 24:39Speaker 5: it up on rocks and stuff. So I I just
- 24:41Speaker 5: wore my hiking boots and wore my Tivas as my
- 24:43Speaker 5: dry shoes.
- 24:45Speaker 4: But that's a good switch.
- 24:46Speaker 1: But uh so, how'd you get the poison ivy?
- 24:48Speaker 5: Then? Don't I think I got it from the first
- 24:50Speaker 5: I don't know. I really don't know how I got it.
- 24:52Speaker 5: I got it pretty bad.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Your skin is paper mache.
- 24:56Speaker 4: No, I didn't get it.
- 24:57Speaker 5: I wasn't the worst one that got it, my friend.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I don't care. You always have something wrong with your skin.
- 25:01Speaker 5: I my poison ivy didn't kick in until like two
- 25:04Speaker 5: days ago.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Yeah, and it was.
- 25:06Speaker 5: It's been bad. But we had to go to urgent
- 25:09Speaker 5: care halfway through the trip because my friend Matt got
- 25:12Speaker 5: it all on his face. He woll He was like,
- 25:15Speaker 5: He's like, I think I got poison ivy on my face.
- 25:17Speaker 5: And we were like, no, you don't like you you're
- 25:20Speaker 5: just being paranoid. And then he woke up the next
- 25:22Speaker 5: morning and his jaw was like extended, like one foot
- 25:25Speaker 5: out from his face. So we had to go to
- 25:27Speaker 5: a We had to go to an urgent care in
- 25:30Speaker 5: like this in a town that probably has a population
- 25:32Speaker 5: of like one hundred people, and it took like two
- 25:36Speaker 5: hours for him to get prescribed for It's pretty simple, right,
- 25:42Speaker 5: you go and you're like, I have poison ivy on
- 25:43Speaker 5: my face, and they're like, here, we're gonna prescribe you steroids.
- 25:46Speaker 4: In this point, we're.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Gonna need to see your dicks.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, and dude, then he went to when we went,
- 25:51Speaker 5: we had to go pick up the prescription and it
- 25:53Speaker 5: was literally just called it was called a prescription store.
- 25:56Speaker 4: That was the name of the.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Pharmacy, and they gave him the ointment in a pill bottle.
- 26:01Speaker 5: It's a pill bottle that's just filled with cream to
- 26:04Speaker 5: the top, like they must just have a tub of
- 26:09Speaker 5: it in the back and they just like scoop it out,
- 26:11Speaker 5: and yeah, that's how he got it. So we were
- 26:14Speaker 5: just passing that around for the rest of the week.
- 26:16Speaker 5: So you were using it too, Yeah, they said we could.
- 26:18Speaker 1: He has it on his face and you're using like
- 26:20Speaker 1: half of his ointment.
- 26:22Speaker 5: No, I didn't use a lot of it. He had
- 26:23Speaker 5: the steroids, which so he his got wiped out pretty quick.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So where were you guys staying.
- 26:29Speaker 5: Well, we camped every night until the last You.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Guys were all had poison ivy and we're sleeping three
- 26:35Speaker 1: across in the tent.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yeah, and the tent was not a good tent.
- 26:38Speaker 5: We got a tent from Walmart. It was thirty dollars.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it was a four person tent. It wasn't
- 26:43Speaker 5: even a three person tent, just squished in a tent.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Who is that guy? The show hadn't started yet, but
- 26:51Speaker 4: I was sitting close to Sass and he was so uncomfortable.
- 26:55Speaker 1: He's like, I'm gonna need you to move ten feet
- 26:56Speaker 1: away from me.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Well, I'm fine with Like, if we were gonna if
- 26:59Speaker 5: we were in a situation when we were camping, I
- 27:01Speaker 5: wouldn't be annoyed. It was that you were sitting next
- 27:02Speaker 5: to me and you were grazing my arm.
- 27:05Speaker 4: I was excited to see you. Yeah, I spent a
- 27:08Speaker 4: long time. I was excited to.
- 27:09Speaker 5: See you too, until you did that. He's tactile, and
- 27:11Speaker 5: then I was like, I'm gonna have to go back
- 27:13Speaker 5: out to the woods.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Now I'm going through a lot right now.
- 27:16Speaker 1: How do you think he got ivy? You must have
- 27:18Speaker 1: gotten ivy from that. No, you can't. I looked it up.
- 27:21Speaker 5: It's not contagious, it's not.
- 27:27Speaker 1: How did you who's up in the middle?
- 27:29Speaker 5: We rotated? The middle was the best box. You're the
- 27:31Speaker 5: most room, dude, I'm telling you. The tent was so
- 27:33Speaker 5: bad that you would be if you were on the side,
- 27:35Speaker 5: you'd wake up and the tent was just over your face.
- 27:39Speaker 1: That sounds like you did a bad job putting it together.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Shouldn't it be tall?
- 27:43Speaker 5: It was taught It was almost bursting.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Was it a triangle or was it a five five sided?
- 27:50Speaker 5: It was supposed to be a five sided, but it
- 27:52Speaker 5: was much more like a triangle. It was not a
- 27:55Speaker 5: good tent at all. But we threw it away on
- 27:58Speaker 5: the way home.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Why don't you spend like twice as much on like
- 28:01Speaker 1: a little bit better of a tent, because.
- 28:04Speaker 5: It was just so much money, and no one wanted
- 28:05Speaker 5: to spend more money.
- 28:06Speaker 4: What are you talking about? Thirty bucks.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Was so much money?
- 28:12Speaker 1: Oh oh oh yeah, but you always have a wallet
- 28:14Speaker 1: that's full of so much cash.
- 28:16Speaker 5: Yeah, but dude, dude, the amount of money that I
- 28:18Speaker 5: spent on this trip, it would have been cheaper for
- 28:20Speaker 5: me to go to Japan and fly first class next time.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Next time that you guys are doing this, I will
- 28:26Speaker 4: send given my friendship with with Bo and Peters I.
- 28:31Speaker 4: It would be my honor to tent for all.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Me and Francis can pitch in on some like certain essentials,
- 28:39Speaker 1: the same way that like Big Cat sponsors Stu Finer's
- 28:42Speaker 1: TV room. Yeah, Coach Doug's garage.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Would be huge.
- 28:45Speaker 5: I'm sure everyone would appreciate that a lot.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Yeah, let us cover it and don't let anyone be
- 28:49Speaker 4: too proud. I want my boys sleep and tight.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I would have did a dinner for you guys one night, Yeah,
- 28:56Speaker 1: I would. I'll do one trip to Urgent Care. I'll
- 28:59Speaker 1: cover either a dinner or urgent If you don't use
- 29:07Speaker 1: the Urgent Care by the last night, I'll get a dinner.
- 29:10Speaker 5: All right, That works? That definitely works. We uh camping
- 29:14Speaker 5: was camping was fine. We the food was all good.
- 29:17Speaker 5: There was one night where it was like in the
- 29:19Speaker 5: twenties and that was pretty brutal. Yes, that's when you
- 29:21Speaker 5: got to sleep full mummy in the in the in
- 29:24Speaker 5: the in the sleeping bag there and that that sucked,
- 29:27Speaker 5: but it was pretty good. There was one night where
- 29:29Speaker 5: we where we folded. We were it like rained all
- 29:32Speaker 5: day and everyone was like gassed in our sleeping spot.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Was awful, and we were like we're going into town
- 29:39Speaker 5: and we're getting them. We're gonna stay in the motel.
- 29:41Speaker 5: And then we were driving up the dirt road and
- 29:43Speaker 5: we were like this feels pretty bad. And then we
- 29:46Speaker 5: pulled over at a different camp spot and just camped there.
- 29:49Speaker 5: Really yeah, because we were like it's it's gonna be
- 29:52Speaker 5: your tails. Yeah, it would be better to stay in
- 29:53Speaker 5: the hotel on the last night after we've like completed
- 29:58Speaker 5: the trip. Yeah, rather than give up with one night left.
- 30:03Speaker 4: You guys only allowed yourself one night in a hotel though. Yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 4: that's pretty good. I'm impressed with that.
- 30:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it was pretty tough that one night. I think
- 30:10Speaker 5: everyone was pretty excited to stay in a hotel and
- 30:12Speaker 5: then we just because we were the first half of
- 30:15Speaker 5: the trip, we were like completely alone. Like there was
- 30:17Speaker 5: like maybe one other group camping, and we like didn't
- 30:20Speaker 5: really see We saw like two eighty year old dudes
- 30:22Speaker 5: who were in the most guy.
- 30:23Speaker 1: What about the moose guy?
- 30:24Speaker 5: No, that was the second half. Got second half of
- 30:26Speaker 5: the trip. We like had this campsite that we picked out.
- 30:29Speaker 4: We drive to it.
- 30:29Speaker 5: It's like I guess it was because fourth of July,
- 30:33Speaker 5: but I mean, dude, it was everything was so packed
- 30:36Speaker 5: like with like all these like morbidly obese people in
- 30:39Speaker 5: r v's you guys, and they were taking up all
- 30:42Speaker 5: of the camp spots. So we couldn't find anywhere to go.
- 30:44Speaker 5: So we ended up staying at this like really shitty
- 30:46Speaker 5: area and that's when we were gonna stay in the hotel.
- 30:49Speaker 4: And then we moved. We found it better. Oh you
- 30:51Speaker 4: you didn't get to uh find a comfortable berth in
- 30:55Speaker 4: that high end RV camp site filled with morbidly obese people. No,
- 30:59Speaker 4: we did, and then we had to slum it to
- 31:01Speaker 4: the really shitty area. Yes, exactly, dude. Every camp site
- 31:05Speaker 4: was full, Like you'd go and it would just say full.
- 31:09Speaker 4: I didn't know that was I thought that it was
- 31:10Speaker 4: just like, if you can find somewhere to put your tent,
- 31:12Speaker 4: it's not I thought.
- 31:13Speaker 1: It was camping. Yea, the outdoors is full. That's literally
- 31:17Speaker 1: what it was. Wilderness is full.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Yeah, everything just said.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Full and uh.
- 31:22Speaker 5: And so when we were driving to go to the hotel,
- 31:24Speaker 5: we were we were shitting on the r V people
- 31:26Speaker 5: the whole week, and then when we got we were driving,
- 31:29Speaker 5: we were like, they're gonna they're gonna beat us, like
- 31:31Speaker 5: they won. And so then we were like, we got
- 31:34Speaker 5: a camp We can't we can't give in and go
- 31:35Speaker 5: stay in a hotel after we've been shitting on these
- 31:37Speaker 5: people for staying in r vs all week.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Yeah, what did you guys eat the entire time?
- 31:42Speaker 5: Uh, We've had fijitas pretty much every single night, literally
- 31:49Speaker 5: every single night we had fijitas. Really Yeah, and then
- 31:51Speaker 5: it was the easiest thing to make. You just have
- 31:53Speaker 5: some sort of meat and then just peppers and onions
- 31:56Speaker 5: and tortilla.
- 31:57Speaker 4: And what was the meat.
- 31:58Speaker 5: We did chicken or the ground chick beef, and then
- 32:01Speaker 5: we did sausage one night.
- 32:05Speaker 4: There was a lot of It was a damn dude,
- 32:07Speaker 4: I wish you'd eaten more more browns.
- 32:10Speaker 5: Yeah, it would have been nice. We had chicken noodle
- 32:13Speaker 5: soup and we had ramen.
- 32:15Speaker 4: How many can you keep in a day?
- 32:18Speaker 5: It depends on the river. The the first one, I
- 32:22Speaker 5: think it was you could three per person, but had
- 32:25Speaker 5: they had to be below sixteen inches okay. And then
- 32:28Speaker 5: the second one it was no, couldn't keep anything besides
- 32:31Speaker 5: brook trout, and I think brook trout They're just like,
- 32:33Speaker 5: take hover money you want.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Oh wow, this is gonna come off as hating, and
- 32:36Speaker 1: I don't want it to because I love you. But
- 32:38Speaker 1: when I saw the pictures of the little fish that
- 32:42Speaker 1: you had in your.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Hands, it was not a little fish.
- 32:44Speaker 1: I was kind of disappointed because I could still see
- 32:47Speaker 1: so much of your hands around the fish. I thought
- 32:49Speaker 1: that it would be like I thought you'd be holding
- 32:52Speaker 1: it with one hand up like this, yeah, and they
- 32:54Speaker 1: you were. You were holding it like uh dude. That
- 32:57Speaker 1: that first photo cupping mouthwater, that first photo of.
- 33:00Speaker 5: The fish that I caught on that posts on Instagram
- 33:02Speaker 5: was easily the biggest fish I've ever caught, like, not
- 33:05Speaker 5: length like heaviest. It was like the most incredible thing
- 33:09Speaker 5: I've ever.
- 33:09Speaker 4: Experienced, Nothing like the kobea we caught.
- 33:12Speaker 5: Oh and not including that, obviously, not including the.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Salt one, not including the other big fish that you've caught.
- 33:16Speaker 5: But that was like I saw the fish.
- 33:19Speaker 4: It was rising in this hole.
- 33:21Speaker 5: It was like six pm and it was rising in it,
- 33:23Speaker 5: and I was throwing drive flies and it wasn't taking anything.
- 33:25Speaker 5: And I switched to a super small dry fly, like
- 33:28Speaker 5: this big smart and I cast it out and it
- 33:31Speaker 5: hit it and it was like, dude. It fought for
- 33:33Speaker 5: like two minutes straight and the whole time I was
- 33:36Speaker 5: just like, this is going to get all and then
- 33:38Speaker 5: I landed it and it was like the greatest feeling imaginable.
- 33:41Speaker 5: Well that's not yeah, that's not a huge one. I'm
- 33:44Speaker 5: talking about the first one.
- 33:45Speaker 4: The cutthroat.
- 33:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's a monster.
- 33:47Speaker 4: That's pretty big.
- 33:49Speaker 1: That the smile on your face looks like my dog
- 33:52Speaker 1: when I throw a peanut butter.
- 33:53Speaker 5: Col It was like the greatest feeling I've ever experienced.
- 34:00Speaker 5: But so then we stayed in this hotel the last night,
- 34:02Speaker 5: and it's like this hotel from like the fucking like
- 34:05Speaker 5: eighteen hundred. It's like Teddy Roosevelt stayed there.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, and that's pretty sweet.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Apparently, apparently Joan Rivers. Yeah, she did like a show there. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:17Speaker 5: it was pretty cools.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Is a fucking that's not like that's not that rugged,
- 34:23Speaker 1: isn't she She's like a fag hag who fucking like
- 34:26Speaker 1: does runway modeling.
- 34:28Speaker 4: No, no, Joan Rivers is the old old woman who
- 34:32Speaker 4: died a couple.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Of who would do red carpet interviews. Yeah, that's what
- 34:37Speaker 5: she's famous for. Oh, I thought she was famous for
- 34:39Speaker 5: her stand up.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Her stand up is she's probably considered she's considered one
- 34:43Speaker 4: of the best, one of the best of all time.
- 34:45Speaker 5: Okay, I guess you know her from the Red Carpet though, Yeah,
- 34:48Speaker 5: I guess.
- 34:49Speaker 4: But I think he's right too. I think she ran
- 34:51Speaker 4: in the drag circle and like I didn't know that.
- 34:55Speaker 5: I don't know anything about it. I don't really don't
- 34:57Speaker 5: know much about her, to be.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Honest, but she's one of the grace of all time. Though,
- 34:59Speaker 1: tell me about her.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Well, look up best comedians of all time and like
- 35:02Speaker 5: she comes up with like George Carlin and.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I didn't realize you get your comedy knowledge from Wikipedia.
- 35:07Speaker 4: That's what that's it. Yeah, all of it.
- 35:09Speaker 1: That's sweet. I like to go to the fucking clubs.
- 35:12Speaker 5: It was actually pretty funny when we were when we
- 35:14Speaker 5: were driving back from Wyoming, they were like, we listened
- 35:18Speaker 5: to a podcast and they were like, lit's listen to
- 35:19Speaker 5: some stand up and we listened to a Joe List
- 35:22Speaker 5: album and then they were like, all right, put on
- 35:24Speaker 5: something else. And then I was like, I really I
- 35:27Speaker 5: only really listened to like three comedians.
- 35:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:31Speaker 5: I was like, yeah, let me find one, let me
- 35:32Speaker 5: find another good album. And I was like, now I
- 35:34Speaker 5: really just listened to Louis, Joe List and Chane and
- 35:37Speaker 5: the only comedians that I listened to, And Bro, you
- 35:40Speaker 5: need to.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Helping up your mind.
- 35:41Speaker 5: So thet me listen to Patris O'Neil Elephant in the Room.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Elephant in the Room.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Nice, that's a classically holloway. That's angel.
- 35:51Speaker 4: I like it when he goes, would you mind if
- 35:53Speaker 4: I sniff your chair?
- 35:56Speaker 1: That's a horny ass special.
- 35:59Speaker 5: The whole time he says sexual harassment Day is the
- 36:03Speaker 5: day before Thanksgiving. You go in, he's like about bringing
- 36:10Speaker 5: in the flowers. He's like, I was thinking you could go, uh,
- 36:13Speaker 5: you could go suck my dick in the in the
- 36:14Speaker 5: storage closet, and she's like no, and he's like, yeah,
- 36:18Speaker 5: I messed up. I was getting a vibe that you
- 36:20Speaker 5: were like this whole year, I've been waiting for this day.
- 36:26Speaker 1: It seems like watching that special that he he uh
- 36:30Speaker 1: shot that all in one take, it feels like.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Yeah, this is this crowd work that is not even
- 36:36Speaker 4: crowd work. I mean it's so good.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like so woven to and like he comes
- 36:41Speaker 1: back to things and he's like talking to everybody. They
- 36:44Speaker 1: do a good job of like having cameras on the
- 36:46Speaker 1: people that he's talking to too, which is like, I
- 36:49Speaker 1: guess they knew he's going to do crowd work.
- 36:50Speaker 5: It's kind of surprising for her that for how long
- 36:52Speaker 5: ago that was, though.
- 36:53Speaker 4: I know, I love the thing he does about the
- 36:56Speaker 4: the animal rescue thing where he's like puppy with a
- 37:00Speaker 4: insul in its head. Hi, I'm white lady stuck in
- 37:05Speaker 4: a jar. Yeah, it's a good special.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Fucking goat. So they rely on you for entertainment. They're like,
- 37:13Speaker 1: we gotta get our boy sash for fucking.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Uh or Harry.
- 37:18Speaker 5: Favor never touched that again?
- 37:19Speaker 4: Did that hurt you? Yeah?
- 37:21Speaker 5: It's just screaming. Really all take wall takes. It is
- 37:24Speaker 5: just one second to activate it.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's nasty work.
- 37:28Speaker 5: But yeah, it was a good trip. It was uh,
- 37:30Speaker 5: it was very fun. The fishing was the best fishing
- 37:33Speaker 5: I've ever done.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Yeah, the smile on your face actually brings a tear
- 37:37Speaker 1: to my heart. It was fucking beautiful. How much you got?
- 37:41Speaker 4: What made it so expensive? It doesn't sound like it
- 37:44Speaker 4: was particularly lavish, was it? The fishing permit? Travel?
- 37:47Speaker 5: It was just like the the travel, the like all
- 37:51Speaker 5: the gear that we needed, Like I needed to get
- 37:53Speaker 5: like a backpack, which was expensive. That sleeping bab is expensive.
- 37:56Speaker 5: The sleeping pad was expensive. That does sound more expensive
- 37:59Speaker 5: than Japan.
- 38:01Speaker 4: You wouldn't believe it.
- 38:03Speaker 5: No, you go to a fly you go to a
- 38:06Speaker 5: fly shop, you just get fleeced. You go and you're like,
- 38:09Speaker 5: I'm just gonna just need to get one fly.
- 38:10Speaker 4: That's all I need.
- 38:11Speaker 5: Two dollars, that's all I need. Then you leave and
- 38:13Speaker 5: you just dropped six hundred dollars out of nowhere. I
- 38:16Speaker 5: think I got me on those sunglasses he's like, he's like, yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 5: those are the new Smith chromo pops. They really highlight
- 38:21Speaker 5: the reds and the greens. And I was like, yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 5: I probably do need to see the reds in the.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Greens a little better, the one color all this time,
- 38:31Speaker 1: seeing the greens through good sunglasses is an incredible feeling.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Though you're like, is that you to like keep on
- 38:36Speaker 1: taking down the sunglasses? Is it this beautiful? Yeah?
- 38:40Speaker 5: Has God made it this beautiful? It was pretty sick
- 38:42Speaker 5: having like good sunglas. I've never had good sunglasses before,
- 38:45Speaker 5: so it was nice.
- 38:45Speaker 1: One does that make the green popper are different? I
- 38:47Speaker 1: never had the reds really pop?
- 38:49Speaker 5: The reds were screaming, what's red?
- 38:52Speaker 4: Nothing? Rainbow trouts, rainbow trout some red in them?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Were there?
- 38:58Speaker 4: Did you cut some bows now? Some bows? Rainbows?
- 39:02Speaker 5: Yeah, we had a lot of rainbows.
- 39:04Speaker 4: How many of those?
- 39:05Speaker 5: I don't know. I said I caught sixty five.
- 39:07Speaker 4: I don't know if I actually like where it was.
- 39:09Speaker 5: It has to have been that or more because I
- 39:12Speaker 5: caught Yeah, Cause, like I said, I caught like at
- 39:14Speaker 5: least ten fish every day aside for the first day.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Well, so did you catch more bows or browns.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Or the first half of the trip was mostly browns
- 39:25Speaker 5: some rainbows, and then the second half was mostly cutthroat
- 39:29Speaker 5: and then a couple.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Of rainbows and some bows. Yeah, it's pretty incredible.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I know you had a good time because it made
- 39:36Speaker 1: you post on Instagram for the first time in eight months.
- 39:38Speaker 5: I know that's what I was. Well, the real reason
- 39:40Speaker 5: was because I was like, how can I sneak my
- 39:42Speaker 5: tour dates into this? And I did?
- 39:46Speaker 4: It worked.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Are you really going to have a new show with
- 39:49Speaker 1: Sidney Wells?
- 39:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess. I mean she she hit me up
- 39:52Speaker 5: like a couple like a month ago, and she was like,
- 39:54Speaker 5: do you want to do a fly fishing series? We
- 39:56Speaker 5: would go like five different places in the spring. And
- 39:59Speaker 5: I was like, yeah, I'm not gonna not say yes
- 40:01Speaker 5: to that.
- 40:02Speaker 4: I think that's the right thing to do. I think
- 40:04Speaker 4: the two of you belong on a river, not the
- 40:08Speaker 4: open ocean the way that we were.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know what I wouldn't be.
- 40:12Speaker 1: You're not funny on the ocean.
- 40:14Speaker 5: I wouldn't be opposed to go into the to the
- 40:16Speaker 5: salt water either, though.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Well you need me for that. I brought out all ther.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Is funny on the ocean. Francis is saltwater funny?
- 40:29Speaker 5: You can tell definitely salt water funny. Yeah, salt life hair, Yes.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Sir, I have been spraying my hair with sea salt spray.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Spray game changer.
- 40:38Speaker 4: It is really good. What brand I don't actually know.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I don't know. There's one green bottle.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Green bottle in the Yeah, it's not me, it's not
- 40:46Speaker 5: my brand.
- 40:47Speaker 4: Actually go with what is it? It's called like.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Mom's hair spray or something like.
- 40:53Speaker 4: That, so you have women.
- 40:54Speaker 5: Was just.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Someone told me that if I just went swimming in
- 40:59Speaker 4: the ocean, I have sea salt spray hair. And I
- 41:01Speaker 4: did that a lot, and I did not.
- 41:03Speaker 5: You can't shower I didn't.
- 41:07Speaker 4: I stopped showering.
- 41:08Speaker 5: Okay, so then you should have had sea salt hair.
- 41:11Speaker 4: No, it was chlorine needed hair.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Well, then maybe you were not swimming in the outre.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Mixing bodies of water. Oh okay, Well, if.
- 41:18Speaker 5: You go swimming in salt water and then you go
- 41:19Speaker 5: on chlorine after, it's going to take out the salt.
- 41:21Speaker 4: What if I went I think I went pool sometimes pool,
- 41:24Speaker 4: then then ocean, and then you would have had saltwater.
- 41:27Speaker 4: It wasn't the way I needed it to be, so
- 41:29Speaker 4: I still had to add more sea salt spray.
- 41:31Speaker 1: You can't have enough. I just grind salted my hair.
- 41:34Speaker 5: Yeah, really taking salt out.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Just get some Himalayan pink, slap it on like a steak.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Grub it into my scalp. It's my best choice. Let
- 41:45Speaker 1: it looks good, Francis. That's that man talk hair.
- 41:47Speaker 4: It's good hair. It's coming in. It's uh. I haven't
- 41:50Speaker 4: quite figured out what to do with it, but yeah,
- 41:53Speaker 4: it's been. It's been a real chore.
- 41:55Speaker 1: It was. It was hanging down before you just ran
- 41:57Speaker 1: your hands through it. It was hanging down like you're
- 41:59Speaker 1: in friends.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Oh, that's that's what it's like.
- 42:01Speaker 1: A nice matt LeBlanc.
- 42:02Speaker 4: I saw Joe Burrow on part of my take and
- 42:05Speaker 4: he had a little strand dance, and I thought to myself,
- 42:09Speaker 4: I want that. Yeah, I want Joe Joey b you
- 42:12Speaker 4: can have it. You can.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You could take it from him.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Let's do Ron and Japan, should we?
- 42:18Speaker 1: You don't want to talk mon talk.
- 42:20Speaker 4: I think I'm the worst. I deserve to go last.
- 42:23Speaker 4: My story is the least interesting.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I don't think it is. Let's just tease it with
- 42:28Speaker 1: Leonardo DiCaprio. Leo, let's just say we're going to be
- 42:33Speaker 1: talking to DiCaprio in a second.
- 42:34Speaker 4: I'm talking to Capacus.
- 42:36Speaker 5: He's executive producer of Francis Special. Yeah, Scorsese shot it I.
- 42:42Speaker 4: Asked him at at the party and he said, no doubt.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Of course, I've been hoping you as send me the script,
- 42:50Speaker 1: I'll read it.
- 42:51Speaker 4: And then he goes, how much ketamine do you have?
- 42:54Speaker 4: And I was like, enough to kill a horse.
- 42:57Speaker 1: And it's mostly fenton. All though it's mostly tasty, tasty fentanyl.
- 43:02Speaker 1: I can't believe that fentanyl has been fucking taking people
- 43:05Speaker 1: out for this long. Prince. They got Prince with fentanyl. Yeah,
- 43:09Speaker 1: when did he die?
- 43:11Speaker 5: Has to be like eight years ago.
- 43:13Speaker 4: I don't think it was that long ago.
- 43:15Speaker 1: There's more recent than that.
- 43:16Speaker 4: I think it was formed at the SNL fortieth anniversary.
- 43:22Speaker 5: And the fiftieth anniversary is next year.
- 43:24Speaker 4: That's nine. But he had plenty of energy at the fortieth.
- 43:28Speaker 5: I'm sure he had plenty of energy when he died.
- 43:30Speaker 5: He was getting sleepy well because yeah, because.
- 43:33Speaker 1: He's all right at the mouth of.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Death at the press tell that at the fortieth anniversary
- 43:39Speaker 4: party hit he was nowhere near fencanyl at that point.
- 43:41Speaker 1: SaaS, if you go to the fiftieth anniversary party, will
- 43:44Speaker 1: you do fentanyl?
- 43:45Speaker 4: Absolutely?
- 43:46Speaker 1: If everybody's doing it?
- 43:47Speaker 5: Me and Lauren, you Lauren railing lines of fent You
- 43:50Speaker 5: do beers.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Yeah, you do beers in the last one and then
- 43:54Speaker 1: at this next one, like Rihanna's underwear line. But I
- 43:58Speaker 1: can talk about your pan. Yeah, le's talk about Oh
- 44:00Speaker 1: fucking it was so fucking awesome.
- 44:02Speaker 4: Okay, was it really hot?
- 44:06Speaker 1: A lot of people said, like, dude, don't go at
- 44:08Speaker 1: this time of year because it's so hot.
- 44:10Speaker 4: I had to hold myself back from making the comment
- 44:14Speaker 4: of I've been told not to go in July because
- 44:17Speaker 4: of how hot it is, because I knew you'd already booked,
- 44:19Speaker 4: and I didn't want to put.
- 44:21Speaker 1: That in your mind. It was not so hot that
- 44:23Speaker 1: I wouldn't have gone.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Amazing it was.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I thought that was I thought that that was overblown.
- 44:27Speaker 5: I thought that that was very over When they say
- 44:29Speaker 5: it's that hot, what do they mean, Like it's like
- 44:32Speaker 5: Death Valley hot?
- 44:33Speaker 1: Like ninety six feels like one oh six? Was it?
- 44:35Speaker 1: Like the last couple of days were very hot. That's
- 44:37Speaker 1: pretty hot, But like, uh, I wore pants the entire time.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Yeah, as you should, as I should.
- 44:44Speaker 5: That's respectable.
- 44:45Speaker 1: And I was judging the people that were wearing shorts.
- 44:47Speaker 4: It's so ridiculous. Don't wear pants when you don't wear
- 44:49Speaker 4: shorts when you when you're a tourist.
- 44:52Speaker 5: That's what they say. They say, like when you go
- 44:53Speaker 5: to France and you have like if you a baseball
- 44:56Speaker 5: hat or shorts on, they know you're a marriage Take.
- 44:57Speaker 4: Yourself seriously, it's shorts. It's the next thing. There's a
- 45:01Speaker 4: clip and we'll get to run. Of course, this clip
- 45:06Speaker 4: of the fact that we had. It was Tommy Smokes,
- 45:09Speaker 4: Dane of Beers, Glennie Balls, and Eddie were in Tampa
- 45:13Speaker 4: and they went to the like one of the nicest
- 45:15Speaker 4: steakhouses in Tampa, and three of the four of them
- 45:19Speaker 4: were wearing shorts.
- 45:21Speaker 5: Guess I'm gonna go Eddie, Glennie who was dant tom Eddie, Glenny, Tommy.
- 45:28Speaker 4: No, and I'm I'm surprised you got this wrong. Just
- 45:33Speaker 4: pick the most overweight people.
- 45:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, but I could have seen Tommy wearing pants.
- 45:39Speaker 5: That would have made sense. Tommy did wear pants or shorts.
- 45:43Speaker 5: I could have seen them wearing shorts as well. Point
- 45:46Speaker 5: is they put them in like it was one of
- 45:48Speaker 5: the funniest videos you know they had. They had like
- 45:51Speaker 5: they had like donor pants and of course they're all the.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Fattest sizes imaginable because fat people keep showing up to
- 46:01Speaker 4: this steakhouse in shorts and they don't want to discriminate
- 46:05Speaker 4: it against them, so they give them size fifty waist pants.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I'm surprised they didn't have just extensions for their shorts. Yeah, yeah,
- 46:13Speaker 1: that they can pull on the zippers, just clip these
- 46:16Speaker 1: on the dress pants.
- 46:18Speaker 5: Just pleated extensions that they throw in the bottles, like
- 46:21Speaker 5: hand one basketball shorts on the top and just khakis
- 46:25Speaker 5: on the bottom.
- 46:29Speaker 1: They should, dude, I can't believe that. I mean, I
- 46:32Speaker 1: guess in Florida they do have fat people though, like
- 46:35Speaker 1: they're yeah, sure do yeah. In Japan they don't have them. No,
- 46:40Speaker 1: they don't have them.
- 46:41Speaker 5: Wyoming, everyone's fat, really a lot of fat people. Phie,
- 46:46Speaker 5: you'd stop, and because everyone just gets pie for like
- 46:50Speaker 5: you go, No, I'm serious, dude, I'm serious. I had
- 46:53Speaker 5: a great I'm not even kidding. We everywhere you go
- 46:58Speaker 5: in Wyoming, they're like, all right, and what kind of
- 47:00Speaker 5: pie do you want? You're like, what you mean? It's
- 47:03Speaker 5: an eight a m. I don't need pie and ice
- 47:06Speaker 5: cream pie. I had pie the last night. The pie
- 47:11Speaker 5: was unbelievable. I got a blueberry pie with some ice
- 47:14Speaker 5: cream unbelieve.
- 47:17Speaker 1: What's your guys favorite pie?
- 47:18Speaker 4: Strawberry rubb that's a great one, especially with the crumbly top.
- 47:21Speaker 4: I want the crumble.
- 47:23Speaker 5: It's probably apple or blueberry or key lime, pecon pecan
- 47:26Speaker 5: for me, which is barely a pie because there's not it's.
- 47:30Speaker 4: Not a fruit. An energy bar almost.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's a trail mix for breakfast and nature Valley,
- 47:38Speaker 1: which is probably that's what they're doing out in Wyoming.
- 47:40Speaker 5: Oh no, it's everywhere you go. You get a coffee,
- 47:45Speaker 5: what kind of pie do you want?
- 47:48Speaker 4: Is it?
- 47:48Speaker 5: And is it like it's a it's not a see,
- 47:53Speaker 5: it's a plate, a plate of the large pie.
- 47:56Speaker 4: They're going generously.
- 47:58Speaker 5: They make a full pie and they go, this will
- 47:59Speaker 5: be two people.
- 48:03Speaker 1: It was Japan is such a It was such an
- 48:06Speaker 1: orderly place. Everything was like you ride an escalator, everybody's
- 48:11Speaker 1: far to the left. Like you walk outside, everybody's fucking quiet. Yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you get to a crosswalk and nobody crosses the street.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Every nobody jaywash and it's fucking so orderly. Everybody is
- 48:23Speaker 1: just like in cohesion as a culture. And I think
- 48:26Speaker 1: it's like there's hard rules against things like that. Like
- 48:30Speaker 1: I went out to some district and they said it's
- 48:33Speaker 1: five years in prison for graffiti, and they're like prosecute.
- 48:36Speaker 1: It was like big signs saying you're getting locked up.
- 48:39Speaker 1: And I went through the most wanted list in Japan
- 48:42Speaker 1: and it's like murder, murder, murder, violation of the traffic down.
- 48:48Speaker 5: Murder, murder.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Literally the fourth most wanted person like walked into.
- 48:54Speaker 5: Roll the stop side.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Littering and they went on the land for the rest
- 48:59Speaker 1: of their life. They had to like get in the
- 49:01Speaker 1: high speed chase and live in the wilderness of Japan
- 49:03Speaker 1: because it was so fucked But as soon as I
- 49:06Speaker 1: got there to my hotel, within five minutes, I'm sitting
- 49:08Speaker 1: in the lobby of this fucking beautiful hotel in downtown Tokyo,
- 49:12Speaker 1: Kanye West walks.
- 49:14Speaker 5: Out of the Yeah you said that, I forgot about that.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Kanye West just walks out of the elevator fucking with
- 49:19Speaker 1: his two kids and his uh big titated wife and
- 49:23Speaker 1: they go to the fucking elevator to like go down
- 49:25Speaker 1: and like go out for the night. It just like
- 49:28Speaker 1: he's just like chilling in Japan.
- 49:29Speaker 5: Did you say hi?
- 49:30Speaker 1: No, I was like checking in.
- 49:32Speaker 4: You guys are really on the same travel schedule.
- 49:34Speaker 1: On the same travels. This is the second hotel experience
- 49:37Speaker 1: where I've been at the same hotel as Kanye West.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Just ran into Kanye.
- 49:40Speaker 5: So you were staying at a pretty nice hotel I'd assume.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I mean, it wasn't as nice as Wyoming, expensive.
- 49:47Speaker 5: As Kanye West out of the Big Horn.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you were probably spending more at that walmart on
- 49:53Speaker 1: on a tent and your your mattress topper. It was
- 49:57Speaker 1: fucking it was this beautiful hotel. The first night you
- 50:00Speaker 1: just kind of like like it was so jet lagged.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I didn't do ship, just h at the hotel bar
- 50:06Speaker 1: and fucking like walked from a block around the block
- 50:09Speaker 1: and like went to sleep. The next morning, I woke
- 50:11Speaker 1: up like so fucking energized, went to the gym. I'm like,
- 50:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna fucking crush this trip. Go to the gym,
- 50:16Speaker 1: get him to work out him right away, Like first
- 50:19Speaker 1: first one there at the morning, six am. I was
- 50:21Speaker 1: like fucking ripping it at the gym. And afterwards, I'm like,
- 50:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the fucking pool. I asked for
- 50:27Speaker 1: like a sauna and they're like, okay, we'll take you
- 50:29Speaker 1: to where the sauna is and I got there in
- 50:31Speaker 1: this like gay Japanese guys like, let me give you
- 50:34Speaker 1: a tour, and he's like, uh, they would have the there.
- 50:38Speaker 4: No, that guy is the sixth most wanted.
- 50:42Speaker 1: I'm on the lamb. Don't tell anyone, and uh, you
- 50:48Speaker 1: know there's a stronghold of gay folk out there. But
- 50:52Speaker 1: they're like, take you through there, like, let me give
- 50:54Speaker 1: you a tour. And they're like, it's actually a steam
- 50:57Speaker 1: room that you go to, and there's also a traditional onset,
- 51:00Speaker 1: which is a bath, and they're like the only thing
- 51:03Speaker 1: is you have to be naked to get in there. Damn.
- 51:06Speaker 1: And you've heard of.
- 51:08Speaker 4: This, no, But I like where it's going.
- 51:10Speaker 1: And so I fucking I'm like, all right, Like, if
- 51:13Speaker 1: I'm going to go to the steam room, I go in,
- 51:15Speaker 1: and I fucking stripped down, and I fucking go into
- 51:18Speaker 1: the traditional bath and who's in there, fucking ass naked
- 51:21Speaker 1: in the bath? Fucking Kanye, are you kidding?
- 51:24Speaker 4: Is this is this like your Jake Jones story?
- 51:27Speaker 5: That's true.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Nick floating at the top like a booie listening to
- 51:34Speaker 1: a book on tape of the forty eight Laws of Power.
- 51:38Speaker 4: It was fucking.
- 51:40Speaker 1: I've never seen anything, like I tried to make conversation
- 51:44Speaker 1: with him. I was like, I submitted music to like
- 51:46Speaker 1: Jeff Basker in like two thousand or like, is this
- 51:50Speaker 1: you're You're really true? I submitted music to Jeff Basker.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I believe that, and I told it to be like
- 52:00Speaker 1: didn't want to hear it or whatever. Yeah, but yeah,
- 52:02Speaker 1: his dick's just floating on the top of the water.
- 52:03Speaker 1: It was insane. Fly he was dryly. I don't even
- 52:07Speaker 1: counted as a fucking hit. It was just so uh
- 52:12Speaker 1: every part of it was like their bars, I think
- 52:15Speaker 1: are better than our bars. All the bars are just
- 52:17Speaker 1: like six people and they have like fucking themes and
- 52:20Speaker 1: shipped to this.
- 52:21Speaker 5: It's like, what is it like in the videos where
- 52:23Speaker 5: it's like all super tight.
- 52:24Speaker 1: It's all super tight, like you go to these like
- 52:26Speaker 1: drunk alleys and ship like that, and it's just like
- 52:29Speaker 1: there's literally two seats in some of the bars and
- 52:31Speaker 1: it's all of them in a row. It's just two seats,
- 52:34Speaker 1: like they're drinking. Culture is better, you're just getting fucked up.
- 52:37Speaker 1: It made me wish that we had like themed bars
- 52:40Speaker 1: in New York that there was.
- 52:41Speaker 5: Like they're all sports dam bars.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, like just like.
- 52:47Speaker 5: They have Barstool Tokyo out there.
- 52:50Speaker 1: I was getting.
- 52:54Speaker 4: High noon. They just hired their new bartender Poa. They
- 53:03Speaker 4: were saying that.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I should bring back one of the because in a Kyoto.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I went to a traditional Geisha dinner and uh Caleb
- 53:12Speaker 1: was asking how it was. He's like, dude, you got
- 53:13Speaker 1: to bring back the geisha as a as an intern.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Just get barstool Geisha.
- 53:17Speaker 5: Yeah, Geisha.
- 53:20Speaker 1: It was so fucking interesting just having dinner with a
- 53:22Speaker 1: geisha through like an interpreter. She was just like telling
- 53:25Speaker 1: us about her like culture, and I think that most
- 53:28Speaker 1: American gay culture is stolen from Geisha culture. Like even
- 53:33Speaker 1: like the way she's talking. It's just like, yeah, I
- 53:35Speaker 1: go to Starbucks and like on like my one day
- 53:38Speaker 1: off a month, it just has this like gay undertone.
- 53:41Speaker 1: That's It's just everything about it was so fucking interesting.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Twenty thousand steps a day for sure, just walking around.
- 53:50Speaker 1: I believe you to compare apsy, No, I believe you exactly.
- 53:53Speaker 1: You don't want to fucking see the smoke.
- 53:55Speaker 4: They break break it down really quick. You did you
- 53:58Speaker 4: did how many days in Tokyo? I did?
- 54:00Speaker 1: I think five days in Tokyo. One day I went
- 54:04Speaker 1: to like the countryside. How was that fucking nuts?
- 54:09Speaker 5: Yeah, looks sick. They've got skiing there.
- 54:11Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's out on them islands, though. You got
- 54:13Speaker 4: to go like off the mainland, I think to do
- 54:15Speaker 4: the skiing out really well.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I went through Nagano where the ninety eight okay, like
- 54:20Speaker 1: the train went passed through Nagano to this place called
- 54:23Speaker 1: Kaga Hunsen, where I went and stayed at this traditional royakon,
- 54:28Speaker 1: and like it's it's you're living like they did in
- 54:32Speaker 1: the like fifteen hundreds out there, and they're just giving
- 54:34Speaker 1: you food that is not even food, Like they're giving
- 54:37Speaker 1: you just like eighteen courses of like goo and like
- 54:40Speaker 1: tofu and shit like that, like just giving you chopsticks
- 54:44Speaker 1: to eat it with. But I'll tell you what, dude,
- 54:46Speaker 1: it solved my microbiome. The ships that I've been taking
- 54:50Speaker 1: are fucking perfect, dude, river trouts. They are just unbelievably
- 54:56Speaker 1: double tapered, unbelievable fucking turds.
- 55:02Speaker 5: And I think that's the cure to like bad summer problems,
- 55:06Speaker 5: just going on vacation, just changing your diet completely because
- 55:09Speaker 5: I'm shitting just logs really for the first time in
- 55:12Speaker 5: a decade. It's incredible.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I don't know how this has happened, but I'm so
- 55:15Speaker 1: appreciative that about the turds that are.
- 55:18Speaker 5: Coming out of my butt, all of my hemorrhoids have
- 55:21Speaker 5: receded back into there, sucked back into nature.
- 55:25Speaker 4: Pure.
- 55:28Speaker 1: That's the way to cure it is I think it
- 55:31Speaker 1: really is nice. I don't think that because I as
- 55:33Speaker 1: I was going out there, I was like, oh my god,
- 55:35Speaker 1: blue zones. I'm going to be living a blue zone lifestyle.
- 55:38Speaker 1: I just have to switch my diet to this permanently.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I don't think I could switch it to that permanently.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Why because by the time I got to the last
- 55:45Speaker 1: place I went was Kyoto for like four days or uh.
- 55:49Speaker 1: And by the time I was in Kyoto, I was like,
- 55:51Speaker 1: give me a cheeseburger. Yeah, there's still the cheeseburgers that
- 55:54Speaker 1: I got out there were insane.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Did get out there.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Pizza was very good, not as good people like it's
- 56:01Speaker 1: as good as New York. It's not as good as
- 56:02Speaker 1: New York. But the burgers were better than any burger
- 56:05Speaker 1: I ever tasted.
- 56:06Speaker 5: What are you saying, did you go to McDonald's.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Yeah, one night we went to McDonald's, Like we went
- 56:10Speaker 1: out late night in Shinjuku, just like going to fucking
- 56:13Speaker 1: karaoke and shit like that, and went to McDonald's.
- 56:16Speaker 4: It was good.
- 56:16Speaker 5: Was it the same?
- 56:18Speaker 3: Uh?
- 56:19Speaker 5: I'm always curious about that. I like to see what
- 56:22Speaker 5: the foreign what like the American food is like in
- 56:24Speaker 5: foreign countries.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Like the I mean there were KFC's, Burger Kings, McDonald's everywhere.
- 56:31Speaker 1: I tell you, it was pretty much the same.
- 56:32Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I was pretty trash by the time I was eating McDonald's.
- 56:35Speaker 4: Did you guys go to one of the live band
- 56:38Speaker 4: karaoke places? I've heard those are fun. We didn't.
- 56:41Speaker 1: It was just like it was like basically everything it
- 56:44Speaker 1: just goes up, like the eighth floor has something cool
- 56:47Speaker 1: on it out there. So we just went to like
- 56:49Speaker 1: a third floor karaoke place and like a strip mall.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Just some guy had perfect English and like checked us in.
- 56:56Speaker 1: It was just fucking great, very little crime, very little
- 56:59Speaker 1: homeless business.
- 57:00Speaker 5: Well what they just kill you. There were a couple
- 57:05Speaker 5: of homeless. No, there are some homeless out there. They
- 57:07Speaker 5: hadn't been caught yet.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Honestly, it made me think like should we be killing
- 57:12Speaker 1: the homeless.
- 57:12Speaker 5: Did you see any of like the business dudes sleeping
- 57:14Speaker 5: on the street.
- 57:15Speaker 1: There were some tanks like businessmen like stumbling around, but
- 57:19Speaker 1: that's their culture.
- 57:20Speaker 5: Yeah, they sleep on the street. And then people like, don't.
- 57:22Speaker 4: People bring tuck them in? Yeah, they put like they'll
- 57:24Speaker 4: pull their coat and make sure that they're covered and yeah,
- 57:27Speaker 4: you know, make sure they're comfortable.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Because drinking with your boss and drinking with your clients
- 57:31Speaker 1: is like part of the culture out there. And if
- 57:33Speaker 1: you refuse to drink with your boss, you're supposed to
- 57:35Speaker 1: work eighteen hours every day, drink with your boss for
- 57:39Speaker 1: four hours, and then sleep on the street for two
- 57:41Speaker 1: and then.
- 57:41Speaker 5: Go right back to work.
- 57:42Speaker 4: Yeah. A very good friend of mine works for Bank
- 57:44Speaker 4: of America and he's been there for a long time,
- 57:45Speaker 4: and they have a big office in Tokyo. So he
- 57:48Speaker 4: goes to Japan every year, Bank of Tokyo, and he
- 57:51Speaker 4: said that, like they'll go to the office and do
- 57:54Speaker 4: a presentation for why what did that mean?
- 57:59Speaker 5: Just because it is called Bank of America and in Tokyo.
- 58:02Speaker 4: Nice riff. I don't know. I'm not going I'm not
- 58:05Speaker 4: going good riff on that. And they're the the office
- 58:11Speaker 4: out there gets excited when they're coming because it's you know,
- 58:15Speaker 4: American businessman and they like roll out the red carpet,
- 58:17Speaker 4: the gift exchange, all this stuff, and then they all
- 58:20Speaker 4: go out and I think that they just that is
- 58:25Speaker 4: like a big moment for them to get really drunk,
- 58:28Speaker 4: the people from their office.
- 58:30Speaker 1: The hospitality is insane. Yeah, everybody is so hospitable. When
- 58:35Speaker 1: you walk into a store, they're like simas, which I
- 58:38Speaker 1: think is you get into a cab as.
- 58:43Speaker 5: They have to sing it like that.
- 58:45Speaker 1: That's how and that's how it's like like thank you.
- 58:48Speaker 1: It's like basically they're saying thank you before you get
- 58:51Speaker 1: like as you walk in and as you leave, you
- 58:53Speaker 1: sayimas or they'll say sima's.
- 58:56Speaker 5: You say, do they get mad you start saying it?
- 58:59Speaker 1: Yeah, well they'll always say it after you. So you
- 59:01Speaker 1: could say it five times, they'll say it six. They
- 59:03Speaker 1: always have to be the last one saying the zama.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Even the first day that I went out that night
- 59:09Speaker 1: when I just walked around before I got into the
- 59:11Speaker 1: traditional on Send with Kanye, I fucking walk past like
- 59:15Speaker 1: groups of dudes who are drinking on the street and
- 59:17Speaker 1: they're just bowing to each other. They're just like like
- 59:21Speaker 1: they're like going nose down on a keyboard. It was
- 59:25Speaker 1: just all of them just bowing back. The more respect
- 59:28Speaker 1: it was so respectful. Like as we get into the
- 59:31Speaker 1: hotel episode, the hotel elevator, like they're just bowing at us,
- 59:35Speaker 1: throwing bows around. It's so fuck. I was bowing back.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I was getting a hands I was trying.
- 59:42Speaker 5: They probably have very strong backs.
- 59:43Speaker 4: You put your hands at your sides. Yeah, so so
- 59:48Speaker 4: it's like a concert bow. That's it.
- 59:53Speaker 5: That's not near that's how you did it. That's not
- 59:54Speaker 5: low enough.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Is that right? At that speed? I would have gone faster.
- 59:58Speaker 5: I would have gone faster and lower.
- 59:59Speaker 1: But sometimes I sometimes I just lower my head. Yeah, well,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: well they'll throw it back at you if it's the
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: same same thing.
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: I think it's supposed to be. I think there were
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: a couple there were a couple that I go hands behind.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: I think that's racist. That's a curtsy.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: That's probably I think.
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: Uh. I think you're supposed to go like to the
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: lowest point you can before you tip over.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: What that's the ultimate specing for everybody?
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: Like if you saw like the President of Japan, Prime minister,
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: the Prime Minister you're going to your head is touching
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: your knees.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm doing downward dog from The.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Former prime minister was shot with a three D printed guns. Yeah,
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: it was like one of the first gun desks. It
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: was a major political assassinations that the country's had.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that was pretty recent.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it wasn't too long ago.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: It was two years ago.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Yeah. I read an article that was that is that
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: as as countries go, as democracies go, Japan's general satisfaction
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: with their political leaders is very high. And it's not
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: necessarily because they like them all. It's just because they
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: all don't care. I could see that a lot of
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: them don't even know who their elected officials are really.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: And I'm not talking about like dumb people. I'm talking
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: people just like they don't they have a general idea
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: and they're like, look, there's not much I can do
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: about it, so whatever, and they don't know, and they
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: just like they're not that politically engaged. They don't worry
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: about voting records, like you know, we talk about like
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: why doesn't Nancy Pelosi released the stocks that she's fucking whatever.
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: They don't none of that matters.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: That's not the discourse they're just moving through respect hard.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Having that level of like indifference, that'd be nice.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I would respect the hell out of it.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a peaceful way to go through life.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: There's like, as far as their political candidates there are
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: on street corners, they'll have like basically a bulletin board
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: and it has all their faces with equal space, and
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: it's just like politician politician. One guy's in like his
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: surgeon outfit or something like that, and then on every
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: one of them there's one guy running for office who's
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: just dressed up like Jim Carrey in the mask face
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the yellow thing, with like three women around him. It
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: really was exactly that, and that it was like intentional,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: it wasn't like accidental. But everything's so orderly, even like
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: there's this area Shinjuku where it's all fucking basically I
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: couldn't tell if it was whorehouses, but it's like these
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: like girls outside and like these like little cute outfits
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: and shit like that, trying to get people into their
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: businesses like a late night and they're trying to and
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: it's like these companionship bars. But not only are there
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: girls outside, there's dudes on billboards. So there's companionship bars
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: for the women out there, and so women get you
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: a be is that because they work so much?
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: Isn't there a probable talent said something about that.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: It makes sense on our podcast there's like companionship bars
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: and like cuddle bars. But I was like trying to
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: look into it, and I think that the women get
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: so addicted to the companionship bars and they wind up
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: spending so much money that they have to turn to
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: a life of prostitution. Often, like they they start pouring
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: themselves out because they've tried so hard to like get
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: in good with the companions and they buy Gucci bags
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: because they think they treat you better at the companionship
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: bars if you're rich or present as rich. It was
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: so fucking But even that like area of talent is
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: very orderly, Like there's just a natural like mutual respect
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to it. I don't know, I just uh, I came
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: back more respectful. I don't even talk shit anymore, no
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: on anybody now. It's so nice.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: I noticed that immediate we'll break you. We'll break you.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Think you you got me back to talking, We'll.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: Get you back. H Did you think that your was
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: five days the right amount of time to spend in Tokyo.
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: Do you do you wish you'd done less?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Definitely, definitely not less.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: Okay, so you need that much time there.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I could have spent so long in Tokyo. I want
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: to go back so badly already. All Right, there's so
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: much to do. There's so many pockets, there's so many areas. Yeah,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: different restaurants. I wanted to try, different foods I wanted
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: to try. There's just it's just everywhere. There's something everywhere.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: There's just cool streets. There's streets are just so much
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: cooler than ours, little alleys that you can go down,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: just random ass alleys. And I've heard it's not the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: best place to live. I heard it's a better place
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to visit.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: It's not like I'm saying I'm gonna fucking live in Japan.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: But it exceeded my expectations so much in a couple
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: of ways. One like, I went to France a couple
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: of years ago on a summer vacation. I was like, yeah,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I don't have any like funni or cool stories because
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: like it, it just was pretty and beautiful and nothing
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: like funny or interesting happened. And this wasn't like that
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: at all.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: There was so much.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: It was just so funny and like weird and like individual.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: But also when I was growing up, like I really
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: thought that people who like went to Japan are like
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I wanted to go to Asia badly. I thought that
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: they were almost like fetishists. It's like you're like, what
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: are you fucking into fucking pixelated porn. It's like a
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: fucking weirdo type of thing, and it just like it's
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: it's just a whole different frontier of travel that I was. Uh,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I'm I'm just so excited about. It was just so
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: fucking cool. There's so much that I feel like I
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: barely scratched the surface.
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: Did you go to the Logan Paul Forest? Uh?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it was fucking awesome.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: Act I guess that wouldn't really be one you like
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: write that into the it. We're gonna have suicide Forest.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: It's gonna take a three hour train to the suicide Forest.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it was awesome, cool.
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: Sounds super sick. Yeah, it was the best food you
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: had the whole time.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Like we went to like a really like there's a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: lot of places you have to like wait in line
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: for like really good food. Spots, there's like nothing you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: can do. Like I tried to get good reservations, so,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I mean, I had a transformative eating experience at this
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: place called, uh, what the fuck was it called? I
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: don't know, you're not gonna remember it, it doesn't matter.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: But it was basically an hour outside of Tokyo where
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I was just like in the wilderness and it was
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: just so fucking beautiful and posted a video of it
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: on my Instagram story. But it's just like it felt
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: like old Japan. There's like a red bridge and like
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: you just slide open this individual door where you're they're
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: bringing you all their courses and it was just like
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: so fucking cool and peaceful, but that's where you're eating
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: these weird foods and shit like that. The place where
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I enjoyed the food the most was like that. It
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: was just like one place where they only serve the
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: exact same thing every single time, and you can get
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: a small, medium, or large portion of it. And it
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: was just rice with like an egg on top and
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: some kind of like uh like grilled pork, and it
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: was just fucking incredible.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: It sounds awesome.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: It was so fucking tasty. Yeah, you need to get
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: some of this ship.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: What the fun was? It called get some food Better.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: It was called ya zu kayo Zulicho.
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: I don't know, but I know that, Yeah, I actually
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: heard of that one.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Andyma was the one out in the in the wilderness.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: Guy.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Did they really? I thought that we've talked in Japanese
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: voices on this podcast before and I'm gonna I was like,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna go over there. I'm gonna be like, this
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: is racist. There are people who not only talk like that,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: we're doing like a muted version of what they're There's
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: people who and I knew people would think I was
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: fucking around. I was voice recording people that I overheard
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: at bars. The last night. I went to this bar
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: in Kyoto that has like no electricity. It was so
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: fucking cool, but uh, there's like just the exact dude
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: you're thinking of, like this shaved head like Japanese guy,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: and I was just voice recording him because I was like,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: people will think that I'm just being racist story Japanese.
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: No, I believe it. I mean I've had drivers where
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: they talk like that and you're like, oh, it's not
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: a joke, it's actually what they sound like. It was.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: It's like a manly representation of what a voice is.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Let me see if I can, if you can hear
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: it on the on the voice recording.
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: I learned all that from playing video games.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Fucking oh, he's cookie monster. That's how they say yes
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: out there, and I couldn't stop saying it.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: So want to say.
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: Somewhere with a good with a good sounding language. It
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: sounds good. Iceland was a disaster.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: It sounds like they're in Rewe's throat. It sounds like
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: someone's playing or reverse. Iceland was.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: Feathers in their mouth.
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: Yeah, you go to a bar and you feel like
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: you need to like like noise canceling headphones, you get
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: a headache.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: I went to the one place I was like buying
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: because they I took out. I thought you were just
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: gonna need cash. The whole time, you didn't need cash.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: So by like the last couple of days, their currency
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: is dipped like every day. It's just fucking as weak
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: as it's been in like maybe thirty five years, thirty
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: eight years or something like that. Good time to go
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: to Japan, for sure. But I was like spending money, uh,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: like trying to just get rid of it because if
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: I convert it back in the US, I'm getting even
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: worse conversion rate. And so I walked up and like
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: was buying just some random ship at the store and
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: like pulled out the water catch and the guy's like, oh, bitch,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Like what what you just called me? And I called
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: my wife over and I like bought something else, and
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: he was like a big bitch. What the hell? I
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: thought that it was just like L to R, but
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: there's a B t R O rich, yeah, rich. But
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: I like made her like listen again just to be
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: like I didn't mishearing that. Right, He's called me a.
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: Bit, yeah, like a big bitch. That's so funny.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: But he said it like so respectfully that even if
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: he was calling me a bitch. But no one, no
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: one is disrespectful, no one, Like there's no cab driver.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: That was just like like fuck you, Like I'm not
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: going there like even like scoffs at you or anything.
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: It's always the ship talking. Must be unreal out there,
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: do you think so you can't just.
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: Bottle up all that.
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: I think they do, bro.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I think I think it's the Buddhism. I think that
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: they're all.
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: Your face on a dart.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Board me. It wouldn't be funny if they were just
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: calling me a bitch and trying to like fuck with me,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Like no, no, you bitch. We used to do that
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: with my my boss when I worked at the Old Alehouse.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: You just call him balls, like oh hey, balls, Yeah
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: he you think we were calling him boss, but we're
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: just calling him balls like a ball sag.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: It's a classic.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: That is a class that you guys could use that.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Where was a there was like a.
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: Lunch lady in my high school, middle school, and she
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: was she couldn't hear anything, and you just people would
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: just say insane ship to her and she'd be like, oh, yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: for sure. I remember one time one of my one
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: of my friends like, yeah, it's raining cats and cocks
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: out there today, was like, oh yeah, big time, dude.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: They also love they love to hear that people are
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: from New York.
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: That doesn't surprise me. I feel like that's like if
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: you're not an American, that's probably like it's probably New
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: York in LA.
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: It's really New York. Yeah, and that's true of like
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: a lot of countries. Yeah.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: The one thing like or there's a lot of things
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I didn't get to do in Tokyo. I didn't get
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: to go to any like jazz bars because their jazz
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: is obviously amazing out there. So when I went to Tokyo,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I was like, I'm going to every jazz bar I
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: could find, and I went to a ton of them,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: and there was one called Beatle Momo Jazz Bar, and
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: on the wall inside the bathroom, they're like, I love
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: New York. I hope to go to New York someday.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I want to open a bar in Brooklyn. I like
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: love Brooklyn. The last time I went to Brooklyn's, this like,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: please like start a conversation with me about Brooklyn from
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: the owner and he's just putting that on the wall
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: and so like I couldn't wait to bring it up
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: to him and just like talk for a half hour
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: about it. And then after that we go to like
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: more of a clubby place and they like the DJ
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: is like spinning shit and he puts on like you're
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: from New York crazy, just so excited about New York's city.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: They should come here.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: It sucks, yeah, exactly. They must think that. I mean
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: that's probably there's some probably some Japanese podcasters be like
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: it was incredible.
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: I wouldn't want to lift up.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: That's hilarious. It was.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: It was an awesome trip and I would recommend it
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: so strongly to anybody who's even like considering a little
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: bit of it. Flights were not it is not that
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: not that hard to get to. Wasn't that bad?
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: Is there layovers from Detroit?
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Layover and there's probably straight you can go to Detroit
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and then go I went to Detroit and then I
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: flew back through Minneapolis, and it was Those flights were
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: not bad at all. The train is so easy to
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: get to, like different cities fast.
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: Take the Bullet train like that movie.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it was just like that movie. You had to
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: fight from the back of the train to the front,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: but it's a very easy fight.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like a reverse Rosa Parks.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Even the people out there who are barstool fans were
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: very disrespectful.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sure.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Yeah, how much it does.
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: On the bite. Everybody know the rule. Everybody know rule.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: They try they like try their best with thinks, but
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Google Translate makes everything so easy.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: How how what percentage of people everywhere you went was
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: there someone that spoke English or did that not? Was
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: that not the case? Like every city or every establishment,
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: Like if you went to a nice restaurant, was there
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: someone or did you have to do the Google Translate
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: for everything?
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: No, there was pretty much almost always someone, and there
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: were a couple of places, but like Google translates. It's
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: like if you're in a drug store or something, maybe
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: you need Google Translate. But it was so easy. And
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: there Google translated something where you just take a picture
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: of the words and it in real time.
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: Damn translates it for That's pretty crazy.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: It was fucking sweet.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: It's so weird how other countries feel like they're like
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: built for Torre. It like they they know that people
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: are going to be coming there, and they like make
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: things that make it easier for Taurusts. In America, it's
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: just English everything.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that too. But in the airport, I
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: was like noticing that in the Detroit airport there's like
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Japanese in a lot of places. Maybe it was just
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: because that's what the Japanese terminal or where they're always
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: flying to Japan. Probably they made it a little bit easier. Actually,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I brought back some oh here, I brought back I
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: don't know if you guys want to muck bang right now,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: or we can do it at the end.
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: I'd love a muck bang, but I brought.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I brought back a ton of Japanese candy for the boys.
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: That's what I was hoping.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I brought back some Japanese candy for the fellas. And
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: actually I brought this back for you, Francis. I didn't
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: know you're doing the sea salt spray.
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: Cock grease extra hard. You're not wrong. I need this.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: No, it's it's hair product, I know.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: Oh well, you can keep that.
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: You don't want the extra hard. I couldn't believe it.
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: It's cock grease. That's hilarious. Cock grease. You're hard with
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: two x'es too. Are you sure this is not for
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: your cock?
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I'm positive it's not for the cock, even though there
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: were I mean, the same grocery store where you get that,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: they have like full on like there's a section of
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: the store for flesh lights.
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: Yeah, that's sound surprising. So I don't know.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Should we Should we muck bang at the end?
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: Should we let you keep it up all day?
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: Try it? You'll like it pretty good. It's a good
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: yag nice.
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: Say what you want about the Japanese They got a
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: great sense of humor.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: No, they actually do. And in uh in Osaka there's
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: like if you do a gun signed, if you do
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: a like a finger gun to someone in Osaka, they
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: have to like pretend they're dying.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: Really, I swear to god, dude, how did you figure
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: this out?
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: There's videos on it. It's it's it's like so they
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: prove that they have like a good sense of humor,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: like and you get like laughed out of society.
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: Imagine you're having like a bad day and you're coming
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: home from work and some tourists hits you with the
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: gun sign you have like fuck is you can point
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: at anyone from Osaka and if you point and shoot.
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: Bang, they'll act like they got hit with the gunshot.
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: They're like they'll go with.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: A bit.
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: Old ladies.
- 1:17:19Speaker 8: You can tell very quickly who is like hardcore Osakan.
- 1:17:23Speaker 8: But if they can recognize a bit and then like
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: they just write it my version is the matrix like always.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Like it's like it's a it's a bit town. So
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: they actually do have a great sense of humor. I
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: know you were trying to make fun of them, but
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: they but what are gone with the bit?
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: Going along? With the bit. That's pretty good. I like that.
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: In New York, if you get someone the gun sign,
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: they'll kill you. They'll just murder you on the street.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: Yeah, if you do it to a cop, yeah, I
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: sell you a gun.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so should we? Let's I guess, wait till the
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: end to go through all these because it'll probably should
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: be shitty to be. It's almost all gummy candy that
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Francisco go and what do we have?
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: Maybe we save my recap for the next episode you
- 1:18:07Speaker 4: want to, Yeah, I think that's the right thing to do.
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: We'ren out an hour twenty Blessed the people, though, it's
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: up to you.

- 1:18:15Speaker 5: I'll tell it really good.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and now take your time.

- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I'm Ryan Whitney. I got a drink named after me.
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: Pink Whitney.
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: That's what I thought.
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: See it, Fellas, I invented the thing you pigeoned Pink
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: Whitney for legendary moments.
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: Well, that's awesome around. Definitely, high praise for Japan.
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: Much praise Harry Hi.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Everybody should go.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: I'm gonna get there as soon as I possibly can.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I know, I feel bad because I look, he stole
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: it from you.
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: And I'm I think it's also like, you know, the
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: place that is the cool place everyone knows, like the
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: yen is really weak right now and this is the
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: time to go and like, you know, there's a high
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: what would you call it, drawl to Japanese culture right now,
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: and like there's you know, their clothing, their food, everything.
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: It just seems to be like peaking.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: That's trying to actually peaking.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I go ahead. I went to Montalk, which
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: I hadn't been to in a while, and I went
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: to the sort of d just do like a Hampton's,
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: you know. Week went and stayed with two of my
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: friends and bounced around and had an absolute ball and
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: it was pretty low key, just like playing with their
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: kids and really enjoying myself. They have an awesome house,
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: they're really good people, and uh was awesome. And then
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: one night I went to a party and uh, I
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: was totally out of my element.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: What kind of party are we talking about?
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: Pull in and there's a valet guy. It's at a house,
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: but there's a guy telling you, like pull up here,
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: I'll take your car, or like go pull up on
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: that hill if you don't have a nice enough car.
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: So is that Yeah? Is everybody rich?
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Like that's going there?
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: Like there's a lot of g wagons. That seems to
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: be the car that everyone's driving.
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: Damn, that's a pricey car, it is.
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: I think it's close to.
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: Between like one. Yeah, it's like they're like one twenty
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: to two hundred.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: God damn.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: Yeah. So I parked my own car obviously.
- 1:21:32Speaker 5: Like a Flintstone character, and I think you're clocking in
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: for your shift.
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: And then I hiked down the hill and uh, and
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: then there was a guy.
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: Then then you have to go to a gate and
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: how'd you get into the party?
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: I was with a couple of people, one of whom
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: was on the list and had like plus ones.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: So it was that kind of part. It wasn't just
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: like a house party where you just can show up.
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: Yeah, and we had to pull out our ideas to
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: verify that we the people we were saying we were
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: crazy what And I was like, there's no chance I'm
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: getting in. This is going to be humiliating. But I
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: was with people who had plus ones and like, thank god.
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: So then you go in and I'm walking around trying
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: to get my bearings.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Can I ask how they got plus ones? Or like
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: who do you have to know you just know the
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: person who's throwing it?
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: Or do you I think that's how they have to
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: you have to have your agent book you it.
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's how it was. And we were
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: floating around and you know, it's I don't really know
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: how to describe it. It's like a party where probably
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: I don't know, it's the opposite of OSAKA, like having
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: fun and looking goofy and doing bits is not what
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: you're supposed to do.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: You're just looking cool.
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: It's meant you're meant to be stonefaced and stoic and
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: withdrawn and aloof and.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Like that's how I feel like LA parties are.
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it very much felt like that you have to
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: keep an appearance. But I tried to counteract that by
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: being overly friendly and approaching people and introducing myself as
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: though I was like at a professional networking event, like
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: I was at a career services fair for my college
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: with my name tag on, like, Hi, I'm so in,
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: it's nice to meet eat, what's your zodiac sign? And
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: kind of just taking the piss and having a good
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: time with that. Ultimately, met some pretty good people. And
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: then Andrew Schultz came in with his whole crew, and
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: I went and said hi to him, and that was great.
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: And then it was like people saw me hanging out
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: with him, so they started treating me better. Really, it's
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: just one of those things.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: It was that kinetic value or cometicus.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: Yeah, so we're social climbing pure like validation. So then
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: one of the girls I guess who was like hosting
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: the party is also a DJ go figure and she
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: was going to do her set, and so the whole
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: staff all of a sudden started hurting everybody down into
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: the basement. To call it a basement is a disservice
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: to basements. This was a how many glass structure beneath
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: the house.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: It was all glass.
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: Yeah, this is crazy, And it was huge.
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: And there was another bar down there with like three bartenders.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: And and are you tipping bartenders?
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: I certainly didn't. I didn't feel the need. I didn't
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: think they needed it.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Yeah, they're wealthy.
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: They was in their jar and I thought they're set.
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: The three loose one dollar bills that I have aren't
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: going to move the needle as a back to the
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: g wagons. Yeah, they were. Yeah, they were people going
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: band for band bills in there.
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: They're probably going for MS.
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: At one point I tried to go upstairs just to
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: explore the house, and there was a guy at the
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: top of the stairs and said I needed a separate
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: wristband for access to the.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Other cocaine rooms. Yeah, And I was like, do you
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: have a powder white wristband?
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: Yeah? I was like I don't. I just wanted to
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: take a peek. And he's like, trust me, I wish
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: I could.
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: He's like, I want to take a peak too. They
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: just got me standing here.
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: Yeah, so part of the house had different you were,
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: you know, credentials required to explore.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Sorry, Diddy's up here fucking some kids.
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, there's a whole What would you if you
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: got around the scar yard and there's just like seventy
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: children upstairs.
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: I would have I would have snuck them out like
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: it was handmade's tail and freedom.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you would have Schindler's listed them out. I wish
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: I could have saved more kids.
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: Yeah, they scroll free.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Cats the jar downstairs.
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: All these kids my nikes half a cat. That's what
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: people keep on saying about that white party. They're like
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: They're like, there's gonna be documentaries about what's happening at
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: everybody love. It's like it seems like it's just a party.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like, dude, people are like, I fucking hate
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Michael Rubin. Look at the sadness behind his eyes, Like
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: that's a guy who just wants to social climb but
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: realizes that he'll always be a loser. He was in
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: high school. It's like, I'm pretty sure there's just a
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: random screenshot you took for the video, like the sadness
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: in his eyes what Like he's.
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: Just playing touch football on the beach with the entire
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: Pro Bowl squad.
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: Like yeah, it's like and Tom Tom Brady and Joe
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: Burrown slant routes for fucking The funniest one though, who
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: pro corp to be there is fucking DeMar Hamlin though
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: he was there.
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just like him.
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: They have a nurse with him.
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: Probably if he plays touch football, he can fucking touch god.
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: Uh. But so so you went down to the base
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: and then uh, she starts doing her music And I'm
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: gonna be honest with you, I was in tranced. It
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: was amazing. It was all like house but with melody.
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: You know, it wasn't too deep. It was like so
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: it was real DJ transitions made sense.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: She just had a great playlist.
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: Yeah, could have been. I don't know. I think I've
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: gotten to a point because I went to the and
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: it went to the surf Lodge like two days before
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: that for another day of nonsense, and a Lesso was
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: there performing and he's a big time DJ. It's like
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: a stadium, and he had John Summitt join him for
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: a little bit. I don't know who was like one
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: of the rising stars of that world is unreal and yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: I want to know where you are. I got this
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: fee and I want to know where Yeah, yeah, that's him.
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: He just sold out, like.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Ah, yes, yes, Alex.
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: I thought Alex was Day the dude from the Dolphins.
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: It's her sister. You're right, it is Racks and Barrios.
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: But Alex girl's younger sister or older sister is dating
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: John Summit. I just found that out too. And but
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: they were like they were doing deeper house stuff than
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: the girl at the party. Oh and the girl at
- 1:28:21Speaker 4: the party I actually thought was better. That's amazing than
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: a Lesso.
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: So it's a good compliment. You should tell her that.
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm dancing whatever, you know, having a good time.
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: Then all of a sudden, like there's like kind of
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: a push among all the people and you look over
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: and fucking Leonardo DiCaprio and Toby maguire walked in dah,
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: and I was like, oh my god, what do I
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: do now? And they came and uh, they only stayed
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: for ten minutes because everyone started like surreptitiously take photos
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: of them, and there was no Those guys need a booth,
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: you know, they need a sequestered area to socialize in.
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: But they were there.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: So where they were just in gen pop.
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: They were in general admission. They were on the Ryanair
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: dance floor. What. Yeah, they probably had the wristband.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: They just but they had to pick their own seats
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: like Southwest, and they were last ones there, so they
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: were sitting.
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: In the middle. They were paying for diet cokes damn nasty.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so they probably went upstairs.
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: To go I think so. Yeah. I mean I didn't
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: really see them for very long and then uh, all
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: the kids.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Party sucks, old ass party.
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: Where the hell are all the kids out?
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: She feels like a retirement down here at this It
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: was like nineteen probably read I started reading the sign,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: I started reading a menu.
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: Uh so, yeah, that was my night and that was
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: the Hampton's.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Goddamn.
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: I don't know how I ended up there, but that
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: was just one of those random things. And dude, I
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: was wearing an outfit that was wrong. Yeah, and it
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: was pretty funny.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: What were you wearing?

- 1:31:15Speaker 4: and this was wearing you know, he was just in
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: like a T shirt and low. Everyone was like dressed
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: in like l a street Venice where kind of trucker
- 1:31:30Speaker 4: caps and funky arm tattoos and chaltz. Even I feel
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: like dress well. He dresses really well. He was wearing
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: a cool short sleeve button down kind of the stuff
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: that he wears on stage.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: Was he wearing shorts?
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: No?
