- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas in
- 0:19Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge. We
- 0:23Speaker 2: are here recapping episode one of season seven of Real
- 0:28Speaker 2: Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 0:30Speaker 1: This was a sad one.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I mean, first and foremost, to me, this was like,
- 0:38Speaker 2: you know, a riveting episode. And I hope Mary gets
- 0:41Speaker 2: nothing but love.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yes, she will, of course.
- 0:43Speaker 3: From everyone for being so vulnerable.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Like, I can't imagine doing what she did, you know,
- 0:49Speaker 2: like having to go through that and speak about it.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And she just, you know, had so much grace and love.
- 0:57Speaker 3: And I don't know.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I just, that's the first thing that I just think.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Yeah, this was definitely heavy. And I had no idea
- 1:05Speaker 1: that they had picked cameras up to film him, Robert Jr.,
- 1:10Speaker 1: released from jail.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I didn't either.
- 1:12Speaker 2: February 4th, they said that's when Robert Jr. 's release
- 1:15Speaker 2: was from jail. And then Mary thanks her cousin, Big Joe,
- 1:19Speaker 2: for picking him up after he was incarcerated for 86 days.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah. And then three weeks later is when he passed away.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Wasn't sure that if, you know, we were going to
- 1:28Speaker 1: see Robert Sr., but... He was in the trailer. So
- 1:33Speaker 1: I guess he will be filming this season.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I mean, that's probably because Mary really needs the support.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And I'm glad he's there for her.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I am, too.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I can't imagine how hard it must be.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Oh, it was just so heartbreaking. And then, you know,
- 1:48Speaker 1: we get to see the girls gather at Angie Kay's
- 1:50Speaker 1: house following the news. As Angie says, Mary would want
- 1:54Speaker 1: them to come together in peace and they bring flowers
- 1:58Speaker 1: and they have food and they talk about Robert Jr.,
- 2:02Speaker 1: how he loved clothes and fashion. He wanted to be
- 2:04Speaker 1: a fashion designer. And I think it was Angie said
- 2:09Speaker 1: that he made some nice comments about Electra's eyes or
- 2:13Speaker 1: something like that.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Just kind of talking about stuff that they know about him.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and then they kind of all, like, brought it back.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Like, it's saying, Meredith says, as a mother, you never
- 2:24Speaker 2: think that you're going to live longer than your kid.
- 2:27Speaker 1: No.
- 2:27Speaker 3: That definitely hit me hard. I was like, oh, my gosh.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Like, I can't even imagine.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Lisa reveals Mary told her that the group she's got
- 2:37Speaker 2: is all she has right now.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I know. That gave me chills. Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And then Heather....
- 2:45Speaker 2: This is where it's just going to get me because
- 2:48Speaker 2: we're watching two shows at once. Heather suggests that the
- 2:51Speaker 2: ladies use this moment to no longer take each other
- 2:53Speaker 2: for granted. Then my head pans to ultimate girl's trip.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I know.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I can't compartmentalize.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Do you? To me, it kind of looks like every
- 3:04Speaker 1: time Heather talks, she's kind of looking for her next
- 3:07Speaker 1: moment or, you know, audition.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 1: She can be a narrator for the group or something.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It just doesn't land. Now, Whitney takes this time, which
- 3:19Speaker 1: I thought it wasn't probably the right time, to apologize.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And it's just like, can you read between the lines?
- 3:26Speaker 1: This isn't about you or your feelings. This is about
- 3:29Speaker 1: Robert Jr. and Mary and her family. And I just went, oh.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Well, I think Whitney wants to make it very clear
- 3:36Speaker 2: that she's sober this season.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yeah, she actually reached out to me during the season before.
- 3:41Speaker 1: before her cast trip and wanted some Vena seltzer. So
- 3:45Speaker 1: I shipped them over to her.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Oh, wow. Um, I, I felt like this was obviously
- 3:51Speaker 2: a scene that needed to happen. I felt like the
- 3:54Speaker 2: girls were doing everything they can not to rip each
- 3:57Speaker 2: other's hair out and start fighting there.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah. It was, it was, it was hard. It's like,
- 4:04Speaker 1: it's easy to sit outside and judge. Like, what would
- 4:07Speaker 1: you do if you were in this group right now?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Because it's such a heavy situation. Like, you're not allowed
- 4:12Speaker 1: to laugh. You're not allowed to smile. Like, what are
- 4:13Speaker 1: you supposed to do? Like Angie joking with Lisa about
- 4:17Speaker 1: menopausal stuff and Lisa making it quite clear that she's
- 4:20Speaker 1: still on her period.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 1: So it's like, do you talk about that stuff?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Should you not? Like, it's just, it's, it's just really hard.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And I, especially when you're filming a show and you're
- 4:32Speaker 2: trying to be, you, you do, your heart is broken
- 4:35Speaker 2: for that person, but you're also like how I can't
- 4:38Speaker 2: make this about me.
- 4:39Speaker 3: This isn't about me. This is about that.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I agree. Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And then there's Lisa with her grilled cheese. We see
- 4:45Speaker 1: her eating two grilled cheese this episode. One at home
- 4:49Speaker 1: she made with goat cheese, which doesn't sound great to me.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Goat cheese. You like goat cheese?
- 4:55Speaker 3: No. Goat cheese.
- 4:56Speaker 2: And then why was she shredding the cheese to then
- 4:58Speaker 2: put it into the... She was shredding mozzarella to then
- 5:02Speaker 2: heat it up.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I thought she said it was goat cheese. No.
- 5:06Speaker 3: The goat cheese she was already putting on like it
- 5:08Speaker 3: was like butter. Butter.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Butter.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Where did the mozzarella go?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Did she mix?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah, she mixed the cheese.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Oh, she mixed it. Oh, that might not be too bad.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I just think like, I don't mind goat cheese. I'd
- 5:20Speaker 1: rather have it than blue cheese. But yeah, that's quite
- 5:23Speaker 1: a way to make grilled cheese. Yeah.
- 5:25Speaker 2: But in this moment, they're talking about Henry says he's
- 5:30Speaker 2: not dating girls.
- 5:31Speaker 3: He's just kissing them.
- 5:32Speaker 1: How's he 21 already?
- 5:34Speaker 3: How did I not know that he was baby gorgeous?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't know that either.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I didn't know that he was the reference to baby gorgeous.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I had no idea. Jack is 21 years old now.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I had no idea he was that old.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I didn't either, but I thought this was like a
- 5:53Speaker 2: nice scene. We see all the boys together. We see
- 5:57Speaker 2: them working together as a family to get it done.
- 5:59Speaker 2: They're kind of teasing Lisa, but they're still being nice
- 6:01Speaker 2: to her.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Um, How about when John apologizes to Lisa for being
- 6:07Speaker 1: a safe space for her last year, for not being
- 6:09Speaker 1: a safe space for her last year?
- 6:11Speaker 2: How many times do you think Lisa had to remind
- 6:15Speaker 2: John to do that before they filmed that scene?
- 6:18Speaker 1: That.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I'm.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 6:22Speaker 3: How many times? Like, how many times did you have
- 6:24Speaker 3: to tell Eddie? Okay, you're going to need to get
- 6:27Speaker 3: choked up.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I actually wanted Eddie to watch that scene because I
- 6:30Speaker 1: felt like you know, these are what other guys are
- 6:34Speaker 1: doing on the house. Cause he doesn't really watch the
- 6:35Speaker 1: house by shows. I'm like, guys do get involved a
- 6:38Speaker 1: little bit, but, um, I forgot they were having some
- 6:43Speaker 1: problems last year.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Well, remember the psychic said something and then he said,
- 6:48Speaker 2: maybe you weren't paying attention to me. And then they
- 6:50Speaker 2: got in that, they did a little flashback of them
- 6:52Speaker 2: fighting at that tall table.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And then he said like, he's not really good at
- 6:58Speaker 1: emotions and expressing himself and, He said he actually felt
- 7:02Speaker 1: like a little jealous because a lot of things in
- 7:04Speaker 1: his life were falling apart. I think like business wise
- 7:07Speaker 1: and her, she was, you know, she's doing the Wendy's commercial.
- 7:10Speaker 1: She got housewives. She got Vita tequila.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I mean, I think everything he said makes complete sense
- 7:16Speaker 2: and happens in relationships. I just think the fact that
- 7:19Speaker 2: that we're supposed to believe that was the first time
- 7:21Speaker 2: he apologized for it is bananas.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Maybe you might be right on that.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Like you've only seen him cry twice in your life
- 7:30Speaker 2: and this is one of them.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Well, he really, he really like put Tabasco sauce in
- 7:37Speaker 2: his eyes or something.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Like, I don't know how he did it, but I, I,
- 7:40Speaker 3: I did feel like they were closer this season.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, it was a touching scene. I thought,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you know, he acknowledged it. Did I need to see
- 7:49Speaker 1: the next scene where she's talking with her friends about it?
- 7:53Speaker 3: What is she, where she relives it and then she
- 7:56Speaker 3: like puts her eyes.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It orders another grilled cheese sandwich. Yeah.
- 7:59Speaker 3: No, not really. Maybe it's the cheese.
- 8:02Speaker 1: That's making them cry. I'm just saying.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Well, then we've got new buddies, Bronwyn and Whitney, meeting
- 8:11Speaker 2: for pickleball.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Could you imagine having the conversation that they're having while
- 8:16Speaker 2: trying to play pickleball? No.
- 8:19Speaker 1: No, but they look cute in their little outfits. I mean,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm not surprised that they are... You know, close. They're
- 8:26Speaker 1: both married to guys that are older than them. They both,
- 8:30Speaker 1: I think, have a little bit of a wild side. Now,
- 8:33Speaker 1: at this point, Whitney and her husband are still together, right?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, they haven't told us that they're not. We heard
- 8:41Speaker 2: in the press a while ago that they were also split,
- 8:44Speaker 2: but we haven't actually seen that or confirmed it or anything.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Now, did you see Bronwyn in her confessional where she
- 8:50Speaker 1: was insinuating that maybe there was something a little bit
- 8:52Speaker 1: more between them? Her and Whitney? Do you really think.
- 8:57Speaker 3: They're into each other?
- 8:57Speaker 2: I know why.
- 8:58Speaker 3: She was like this, and then she's like, ha, ha, ha. No,
- 8:59Speaker 3: not really like this.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Well, why would she even say that? Was she trying
- 9:04Speaker 1: to be funny?
- 9:04Speaker 3: I think she was trying to be funny.
- 9:07Speaker 2: But then when she explained the final death of her
- 9:10Speaker 2: marriage was when it was her 40th birthday, and Todd
- 9:14Speaker 2: didn't even acknowledge it.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Well, last year she got a $ 10 million donation. Diamond
- 9:21Speaker 1: necklace that she had to return. What was she expecting?
- 9:28Speaker 3: So, but did he always have a house in New York,
- 9:31Speaker 3: a place in New York? So he was always bi-coastal?
- 9:34Speaker 1: I don't know. But wasn't it him? Didn't he go
- 9:36Speaker 1: to New York last year or last season and somebody
- 9:39Speaker 1: saw him looking at girls on his phone?
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah, someone saw him looking at girls and then somebody
- 9:44Speaker 2: said they also had a video of him kissing a girl.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Oh, God, no, thank you.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I mean, who's dying for Todd?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Maybe Dory? I don't know.
- 10:12Speaker 2: So after that, we start to see that there's going
- 10:16Speaker 2: to be shifts in multiple of these relationships. Yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Now we get Whitney addressing her viral drunken remarks she
- 10:23Speaker 1: made at the drag brunch. I forgot about those, but
- 10:25Speaker 1: I remember seeing them way back when.
- 10:27Speaker 2: What did she say? I couldn't remember and I also
- 10:30Speaker 2: couldn't rewind.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It wasn't nice. She was talking mad shit about the girls.
- 10:36Speaker 3: She said she hates Meredith, but was that all she said?
- 10:40Speaker 1: She said she hated Meredith and she said something else
- 10:42Speaker 1: and I can't remember what it was.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Well, she's talking about how she had was her liquid courage.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And I'm like, saying it's liquid courage is not a
- 10:49Speaker 2: good thing. It's like when you say like a drunk
- 10:51Speaker 2: person says.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You're blaming all the alcohol.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 3: But like if you're saying something, you probably mean it.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Well, I don't think that when you obviously she was drunk,
- 10:59Speaker 1: but blaming it on being egged on by the audience
- 11:02Speaker 1: and liquid courage at a it's kind of a bunch
- 11:05Speaker 1: of bullshit. You should just like not even throw that
- 11:08Speaker 1: in there. That's like saying I'm sorry, but.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I also wanted to be like, Whitney, you were third
- 11:13Speaker 2: seat last year. Now is not the time. Now is
- 11:16Speaker 2: not the time to be cutting off alcohol fully.
- 11:19Speaker 3: No. When filming. We need you wild and crazy.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Whitney Rose.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 2: And that's when she kind of alluded the things in
- 11:30Speaker 2: her marriage. And then they talk about Bronwyn out there
- 11:35Speaker 2: with a hot younger model.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yeah. She was traveling around with this young, hot model
- 11:42Speaker 1: and no longer together, right?
- 11:44Speaker 3: No longer together.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Essentially, they spent, like, I can't remember if she said
- 11:48Speaker 2: six or eight weeks together. And she just kept inviting,
- 11:52Speaker 2: she was avoiding her life at home. And I think
- 11:55Speaker 2: it was like right after her split. And she met
- 11:57Speaker 2: this young, hot guy and just, she invited him everywhere
- 12:00Speaker 2: and he came with her. And then once they got
- 12:02Speaker 2: home and reality hit, she was like, this isn't So
- 12:05Speaker 2: it was.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Just a fun fling. Yeah. So we get to see
- 12:07Speaker 1: Heather dating a man named Trip. Now he pulls up
- 12:10Speaker 1: on a Harley or something and they got the, he
- 12:14Speaker 1: got the Eddie entrance where they showed the feet and
- 12:16Speaker 1: they showed the back and then they showed him walking
- 12:19Speaker 1: and they showed him opening the door. Then you see
- 12:21Speaker 1: his face.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Some strange reason.
- 12:23Speaker 1: He looks familiar.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Why does he does he look familiar? Because he was
- 12:27Speaker 2: on the show the first season.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Was he on the show the first season?
- 12:31Speaker 3: I don't know, but he looked familiar to me, too.
- 12:33Speaker 2: But maybe it was because he looks kind of like
- 12:35Speaker 2: the guy who was married to Sandra Bullock.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Do you remember Jesse James?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Do you think it's because he's a biker?
- 12:43Speaker 3: Are you are you stereotyping all bikers now?
- 12:46Speaker 2: I maybe I mean, I maybe he kind of looks
- 12:49Speaker 2: like him with the slick back hair.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Like I was like, he looks a little Jesse James.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Maybe that's it.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Maybe that's what I'm seeing. Cause I'm like, he really
- 12:56Speaker 1: looks familiar. And then he's got a unique name trip. Well,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I think his name.
- 13:00Speaker 2: May be trip because he's this third.
- 13:03Speaker 3: So I know a couple trips and it's cause they're from,
- 13:06Speaker 3: so triple.
- 13:09Speaker 2: So like, let's say his name's Paul, his dad's name's Paul,
- 13:12Speaker 2: his grandpa's name's Paul.
- 13:14Speaker 3: And then the third one is trip like triple.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:17Speaker 3: And that's not in the second might be deuce. I
- 13:20Speaker 3: don't want deuce. Like I knew a lot of deuce
- 13:24Speaker 3: in trips growing up because it's a very Southern thing
- 13:26Speaker 3: to do.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Well, she says that she dated Tripp before and it
- 13:29Speaker 1: didn't work out. And now she's dating him again. She
- 13:32Speaker 1: says they are horrible Mormons together. Tripp left the church
- 13:35Speaker 1: when he was 17. I, okay. Something about this, I'm
- 13:42Speaker 1: not buying.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Well, the part that is a little bit touch and go.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Even if we didn't see him in a prior season,
- 13:50Speaker 2: we've never seen him in our lives before. We just
- 13:52Speaker 2: think he looks like Jesse James. He still, the first
- 13:56Speaker 2: time that they dated, was talking to other women.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, never good.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Never good.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I don't know that that part changes because, you know,
- 14:07Speaker 2: six years in a television show.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Teddy, I'm not buying this relationship for some reason. My
- 14:13Speaker 1: gut is telling me that this is not real.
- 14:17Speaker 2: When I saw her name on the back of the helmet,
- 14:19Speaker 2: I was like, even Tamara doesn't do that.
- 14:22Speaker 1: No, it was just like too set up.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it felt very.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Well, also when Georgia quizzes him and the first question is,
- 14:31Speaker 2: are you a Swifty? And then like he was supposed
- 14:35Speaker 2: to answer yes.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Hold on, wait a minute. He's like, I listened to
- 14:39Speaker 1: one song. Your mom doesn't make me a Swifty.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:43Speaker 3: And they're like, I might be wrong.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Just something just seemed just a little set up about this.
- 14:47Speaker 1: You know what they always say? Like the camera doesn't lie.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, it wouldn't be Heather's first
- 14:54Speaker 3: time setting something up.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Well, Heather says they hang and bang, but they do
- 14:59Speaker 1: not have sleepovers.
- 15:04Speaker 3: But why no sleepover?
- 15:06Speaker 1: This doesn't make any sense to me either. She has
- 15:08Speaker 1: an empty house. Her kids are all gone.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Do you think maybe he has younger kids? I don't know.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I mean.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Maybe his ex is taking care of him.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I mean, but I do think it was a little
- 15:25Speaker 2: bit strange to even say that because it's not like
- 15:28Speaker 2: she has young kids and she's trying to hide. She's
- 15:30Speaker 2: doing a FaceTime with the kids about him.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 3: So it's like they all know about him. It's not like.
- 15:40Speaker 2: She practically talks about sex in front of them, so
- 15:43Speaker 2: I don't really get it.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't get it either.
- 15:46Speaker 2: She makes it very clear she's only dated, you know,
- 15:48Speaker 2: three people or something since she's gotten her divorce.
- 15:51Speaker 1: We haven't seen her date really anybody on the show.
- 15:54Speaker 3: No, we saw her have a crush on one guy,
- 15:56Speaker 3: I think.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:58Speaker 3: And they made it seem like they went home together
- 16:00Speaker 3: when I bet they didn't.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Well, Bronwyn and Muzzy, they talk about her separation, and
- 16:06Speaker 1: Fuzzy Muzzy thinks that she should not be dating her.
- 16:09Speaker 3: I was very proud of Muzzy in this.
- 16:12Speaker 1: She was warm.
- 16:13Speaker 3: She was warm. She was kind.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Warm and fuzzy Muzzy. She's a warm and fuzzy Muzzy
- 16:19Speaker 1: this season. I love it.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I love that Muzzy's pretty much like, she's saying like,
- 16:25Speaker 2: she's like, okay, here you go.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I'm going to give it to you real.
- 16:28Speaker 2: You're not going to actually leave the billion dollar man
- 16:32Speaker 2: for a guy that's on, you know, And that's 21
- 16:36Speaker 2: years old.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Right. It's not happening.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you got to give her credit. She actually
- 16:39Speaker 1: switched couches to be closer to her daughter and even
- 16:43Speaker 1: touched her leg. I mean, that's just something we haven't
- 16:47Speaker 1: seen of Muzzy.
- 16:50Speaker 2: But then Bronwyn kind of kills the moment because Bronwyn's like,
- 16:53Speaker 2: are you being kind to me right now?
- 16:56Speaker 1: I know.
- 16:56Speaker 3: And she's like, well, I actually just came over to
- 16:58Speaker 3: sit next to the plastic.
- 16:59Speaker 1: What do you think of her opening the line, though?
- 17:02Speaker 1: She's like, you might not like this, but you lost
- 17:04Speaker 1: your husband in your house. And I lost mine. And
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm like, no, you can't compare that to death.
- 17:11Speaker 3: I know you can't compare it to that. I don't know.
- 17:14Speaker 1: What are your thoughts on Bronwyn's big red bow confessional look?
- 17:20Speaker 3: I mean, I've gotten so it's weird.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Because I'm so used to her being so over the
- 17:26Speaker 2: top in her confessionals. I don't even notice them anymore. Right.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I think like for her, it's great. It just fits
- 17:31Speaker 1: her so well. For us, we would look ridiculous.
- 17:34Speaker 2: We would look ridiculous. But it's like, you know, I
- 17:38Speaker 2: whatever she wants to wear. It's not like when she
- 17:41Speaker 2: was unpacking her luggage. I was like, what of those
- 17:43Speaker 2: items did you did come in handy when you're on
- 17:46Speaker 2: your trip?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Right. Like another thing to switch gears here a little bit.
- 17:52Speaker 1: And every time we saw Meredith, I kept going, why
- 17:54Speaker 1: does she look so different?
- 17:57Speaker 3: Thank God she admitted that she had a facelift. So
- 17:59Speaker 3: we could all just move on. But so different. She looks,
- 18:02Speaker 3: I mean, she looks different, but she also looks like
- 18:05Speaker 3: fresh and good. She got a good one.
- 18:07Speaker 1: She looks like she, you know, the baby filter you
- 18:09Speaker 1: put on your, you can put on your, um, pictures.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Where it shows like the teenage version of you.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:15Speaker 3: That's what she looks like. She looks like she lost
- 18:18Speaker 3: the 30 years.
- 18:19Speaker 2: What about when she's like, I even got carded when
- 18:22Speaker 2: I walked into Lisa's lounge and Lisa's like, everyone gets carded,
- 18:25Speaker 2: including me.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Oh shit.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Well then, so it goes on to Lisa meets Meredith
- 18:33Speaker 1: with her new face for dinner. Meredith jokes that she
- 18:36Speaker 1: got carded, like you said. And, um, and then they,
- 18:39Speaker 1: Lisa starts tearing up. And she recounts John's apology in confessional.
- 18:46Speaker 1: And it's like, it doesn't.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Land well because Mary is so busy fixing her wig
- 18:52Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 18:53Speaker 3: She had a wig on, I think.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Who?
- 18:55Speaker 3: Mary.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 18:57Speaker 1: That's my other question. I think that was a wig
- 19:00Speaker 1: because it kind of like.
- 19:01Speaker 3: It was so full. It was so full and it
- 19:04Speaker 3: was kind of like this. And I was like. Something
- 19:07Speaker 3: just looked off. It was the wig.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Because I feel like I'm a wig pro now because
- 19:12Speaker 2: I wear them so often.
- 19:14Speaker 3: But at first I was like, what is going on
- 19:16Speaker 3: with her hair? What is happening?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Okay, I thought it was just me. Then I thought, well,
- 19:19Speaker 1: maybe it's just the new facelift. No, it's something that's
- 19:24Speaker 1: the hair or something. Anyways, Lisa says watching last season back,
- 19:27Speaker 1: she cried and called John saying they're done. Yeah, they're done.
- 19:33Speaker 3: No wonder John had apologies then to come.
- 19:36Speaker 2: If that's what happened last season, like, of course, he's
- 19:40Speaker 2: going to apologize.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Like, I don't think they want to be done.
- 19:43Speaker 2: No.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And then wasn't it? And Meredith goes, you know, sometimes
- 19:46Speaker 1: you get mad and you say things.
- 19:49Speaker 3: And then I realized. how long it's been since we've
- 19:51Speaker 3: talked about Meredith's husband.
- 19:55Speaker 1: We didn't even see him in this first episode, right?
- 19:57Speaker 3: No.
- 19:58Speaker 2: She mentions him at one point. So we know he
- 20:02Speaker 2: still exists.
- 20:03Speaker 1: It's kind of like, not everybody, but a lot of
- 20:05Speaker 1: the girls' relationships are rocky. They're either separated, getting divorced.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Or they're in a new fake relationship.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I just feel like the whole cast is kind
- 20:17Speaker 1: of imploding in different ways.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Well, I think that's what happens. I think they're at
- 20:20Speaker 3: that stage. It's not, I'm not saying it's that stage
- 20:24Speaker 3: of fame, baby. It's that stage of fame.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yep.
- 20:27Speaker 1: If you are on shaky ground and you are on
- 20:31Speaker 1: TV and you're a hit, baby, I'm moving on.
- 20:37Speaker 2: It's like you either really hunker down and you're with
- 20:41Speaker 2: that person and you make it work forever or like,
- 20:44Speaker 2: It's kind of like, well, I can do this on
- 20:47Speaker 2: my own. I make enough money that I can handle.
- 20:51Speaker 2: That's kind of what's going.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Through all their minds.
- 20:55Speaker 2: But then they go into Whitney's drunken antics, which they
- 20:59Speaker 2: found embarrassing and clown behavior.
- 21:01Speaker 3: You know how I feel about the word clown, right?
- 21:03Speaker 1: What, you don't like the word clown?
- 21:05Speaker 3: No, it really upsets me. Like, if you want to
- 21:07Speaker 3: hurt my feelings.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Call you a clown?
- 21:09Speaker 3: Call me a clown or put an emoji clown.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Really?
- 21:12Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 21:13Speaker 1: You shouldn't have told me that.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Well, you won't be able to ever put it on
- 21:17Speaker 3: my Instagram because it's blocked. You can't put a clown.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Was there a phase where people calling you a clown? Yes.
- 21:24Speaker 2: And everybody was calling me a clown. And I just
- 21:26Speaker 2: I don't know why that word just really hurt. I'm like,
- 21:29Speaker 2: call me not a clown.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I agree with that.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Like, you're just a clown.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Like, you're a joke.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Like, go away.
- 21:35Speaker 1: That's how it is. At least you're a bitch. Like,
- 21:37Speaker 1: you can hold your own.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 3: I was like, I don't want to be I don't
- 21:40Speaker 3: want to be a clown. I hate being a clown.
- 21:43Speaker 1: So yeah, I, well, they start talking about, so Whitney
- 21:47Speaker 1: was on stage at a drag brunch and she talked
- 21:50Speaker 1: about these two girls, right?
- 21:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:52Speaker 1: So it was Lisa and Meredith. So they go in
- 21:54Speaker 1: even further. Lisa says Whitney is a dingbat who lost
- 21:57Speaker 1: all credibility, but Meredith questions if she ever had any credibility.
- 22:02Speaker 1: She finally admits she hates me. Thank you.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Now she's like, oh, well, she finally admitted that she
- 22:09Speaker 3: hates me. So thanks.
- 22:10Speaker 2: But I mean, that's why I said it's so silly
- 22:12Speaker 2: of Whitney to say, like, I had liquid courage. Like,
- 22:16Speaker 2: we've all known this.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Had courage to say the things you wanted to say. Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Had courage to say the things you wanted to say. Okay.
- 22:25Speaker 1: After this first half, because it goes into filming with
- 22:28Speaker 1: Mary and it gets pretty deep. So before we get
- 22:30Speaker 1: into that, whose side are you leaning towards most? Meredith
- 22:35Speaker 1: and Lisa or Whitney and Heather?
- 22:38Speaker 2: See, I feel like Whitney and Heather have a relationship
- 22:41Speaker 2: of convenience at this point.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Because they're trauma bonding? Is that what you're saying?
- 22:47Speaker 2: No, I think because they were friends and they just...
- 22:52Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I just don't see... Maybe because I'm biased.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Maybe I don't see Heather as, like, a warm and
- 22:58Speaker 2: fuzzy person. Like, I don't see Whitney being able to
- 23:02Speaker 2: go cry in her arms about her relationship failing. Yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 2: I mean.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Heather kind of confuses me because sometimes you can watch
- 23:10Speaker 1: her and she's got like the best advice and she's,
- 23:13Speaker 1: you know, she could really be there. And the next
- 23:15Speaker 1: time it just seems very performative.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Well, I feel like it's getting each season. It's getting
- 23:21Speaker 3: more intense.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Like we're seeing it like it's right off the bat
- 23:26Speaker 2: this season. Like normally we wait a little bit. When
- 23:28Speaker 2: do you think the props and the costumes are going
- 23:30Speaker 2: to come in?
- 23:31Speaker 3: Oh, well, it's already come in. Did you see the trailer?
- 23:34Speaker 2: When she's like, oh, but there's one scene where she's got.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Oh, yes, yes, yes. I was like an elf or whatever.
- 23:40Speaker 3: And she's like, she brought it.
- 23:41Speaker 1: To the green screen for her confessional. She was she
- 23:44Speaker 1: was a leprechaun.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 3: She was like, oh, I had no idea it was St.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Patrick's Day.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Ha ha ha.
- 23:49Speaker 2: And she's dressed as a leprechaun in her confessional. I'm like, that's,
- 23:53Speaker 2: you know, what we're used to.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Do you think it's funny or do you think it's
- 23:57Speaker 1: too much?
- 23:57Speaker 3: I mean, I think I laughed. But I don't think
- 24:00Speaker 3: it's fun. Like in hindsight, no.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I didn't mind it too much. I just don't like
- 24:06Speaker 1: like the constant on that show. It's constant costumes. Constant.
- 24:11Speaker 3: It's constant. And I don't know. I felt like.
- 24:16Speaker 2: We also have been at a stage now where we've
- 24:19Speaker 2: seen Meredith and Lisa not really open up, fully open
- 24:23Speaker 2: up about their lives. And I think it's because Meredith
- 24:26Speaker 2: does not open up about hers.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Yeah, some people are like that. Maybe that's just who
- 24:30Speaker 1: she is. Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Well, I mean, her new face didn't change it. We'll see.
- 24:35Speaker 1: It's only the first episode.
- 24:37Speaker 2: But then, do you think that Bronwyn is going to
- 24:41Speaker 2: give Todd another chance? No.
- 24:46Speaker 3: You think that's done?
- 24:46Speaker 1: I think she had a taste of young dick. I
- 24:48Speaker 1: don't think she's going back. Gout dick gone.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Gout dick gone. Gout dick out. I need a t-shirt
- 24:55Speaker 3: that says gout dick gone.
- 24:57Speaker 1: No doubt. Yeah. No, I don't think so.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Because even when they pan to the clips of how
- 25:04Speaker 2: he used to talk to her, I forgot how bad
- 25:06Speaker 2: it was.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I know.
- 25:07Speaker 1: And then we see something, right, coming up where they're
- 25:10Speaker 1: trying to talk and he's like, I'm not doing this here.
- 25:12Speaker 1: And he got up and walked away.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I did see on our social media, though, that they
- 25:16Speaker 1: are cordial to each other now. So they are friends.
- 25:19Speaker 1: They went to a game recently.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think both can be true. I
- 25:24Speaker 2: think time can heal things. And if they had a
- 25:29Speaker 2: if they're having a decent divorce.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I don't want to sound superficial, but
- 25:35Speaker 1: I just she's so cute. I just want to see
- 25:36Speaker 1: her with some hot dude.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to see her. She's I think she's
- 25:40Speaker 3: really cute. She's really funny.
- 25:41Speaker 2: And I think like she really does care what Whitney
- 25:44Speaker 2: has to say or she really is.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I really I really do like her.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I like to see her with some guy that's like
- 25:51Speaker 1: equally into fashion like she is.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Well, then I think he might be into guys more than.
- 26:01Speaker 1: There's guys that are into fashion. But I don't know.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I appreciated that she was so open, but then I
- 26:11Speaker 2: felt like they're just leading us on to what's going
- 26:14Speaker 2: to happen with Angie and her husband, and then what's
- 26:16Speaker 2: going to happen with Whitney and hers.
- 26:19Speaker 1: The Angie and Sean of it all, that really upsets
- 26:22Speaker 1: me because we've spent time with them. They were in
- 26:25Speaker 1: San Francisco. Eddie had a month and the Ed's had
- 26:28Speaker 1: him on the podcast and all that. And I'm just like,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I just really like them as a couple.
- 26:33Speaker 3: I do too.
- 26:34Speaker 2: And I've seen them at a million horse shows. He
- 26:37Speaker 2: drives the camper in. He sets them up. They're always
- 26:41Speaker 2: in the VIP tent together. Like they're laughing.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I'm hoping they can work it out.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 1: They've been together for a very long time.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Was it in the trailer that they said that somebody said,
- 26:51Speaker 2: you're not going to get to finish like you used
- 26:54Speaker 2: to with your husband. Like you'd never get to fully come.
- 26:58Speaker 2: So for the super tease of the season, we see
- 27:01Speaker 2: the new like friend of Kwai saying, well, it He'll
- 27:07Speaker 2: never get the job. Like something along the lines of like,
- 27:09Speaker 2: he'll never get the job done. Kind of like your
- 27:11Speaker 2: husband did in sex. She alludes to like that.
- 27:18Speaker 3: He won't finish.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Oh boy.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Yeah. So, I mean, I wonder who this new girl
- 27:24Speaker 3: is going to be because we also didn't see.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Maybe as a medical condition.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Maybe not.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Maybe she was just, but also when they said that
- 27:34Speaker 2: they're bringing Quay into this, They're like, oh, Whitney brought
- 27:39Speaker 2: her in. And she's like, Lisa goes, oh, well, even
- 27:43Speaker 2: Quaid can make mistakes. So there's not going to be
- 27:46Speaker 2: any love figured out there.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Now, remind me, was Brittany a housewife last year?
- 27:54Speaker 3: No, she was a friend of.
- 27:54Speaker 1: She's always been a friend of.
- 27:56Speaker 3: She's always been a friend of.
- 27:57Speaker 2: But what I think threw us off a little bit
- 27:59Speaker 2: is she was in like the Bravo TV, like commercial thing.
- 28:04Speaker 2: In the teaser with one other person. I forgot who
- 28:06Speaker 2: it was. I only remember she was on it. So
- 28:09Speaker 2: she's gotten a lot of press. She's also rehearsing to
- 28:12Speaker 2: go on tour. I've been seeing some of that on
- 28:14Speaker 2: her Instagram.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Well, I thought maybe she stepped away from Housewives because
- 28:17Speaker 1: I see her doing, like you said, a tour. And
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm like, how is she doing both? Like, she's out
- 28:25Speaker 1: there singing and dancing. She's so talented.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Yeah, she's very talented. But no, she's back. We see
- 28:31Speaker 3: her and.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Next week's episode?
- 28:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Well, I don't know if it's next week, but we
- 28:36Speaker 3: saw her in the Super Tease.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Well, you know who else is back is Mary. And
- 28:41Speaker 1: after three weeks of, you know, not filming, she returns
- 28:46Speaker 1: to filming. She's searching for Robert Jr. 's dog, Cray,
- 28:51Speaker 1: and finds him in Robert's room. And it was just
- 28:54Speaker 1: so sad. The dog just looked, you know how dogs
- 28:56Speaker 1: feel and they miss somebody or they lose somebody. You
- 29:01Speaker 1: could just see it. Dogs know.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 1: And he's just looks so sad. And he's just like
- 29:06Speaker 1: sitting in the room and he just kept staring at
- 29:08Speaker 1: the cameras. Like, what are you guys doing?
- 29:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 29:11Speaker 2: And then they pan, they like, first they show the
- 29:13Speaker 2: dog and then they panned to his name sign above
- 29:16Speaker 2: his room.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 3: And you could just feel, you could feel how like
- 29:24Speaker 3: organic this moment actually was. Yeah. And you could feel,
- 29:30Speaker 3: feel Mary just trying to be strong.
- 29:33Speaker 2: And being truthful about the fact like I haven't walked
- 29:37Speaker 2: in his room.
- 29:39Speaker 1: That has to be the absolute hardest thing to have
- 29:42Speaker 1: to go in there with all the stuff. I think
- 29:45Speaker 1: that I would just keep everything there forever. Like it
- 29:48Speaker 1: would just be the hardest thing to ever part because
- 29:50Speaker 1: it would be like the final goodbye.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Then the women visit Mary. They previously went to her
- 30:08Speaker 2: service off camera. So we don't see the service or
- 30:12Speaker 2: them outside of it, which I think is good.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 3: I think that would have been disrespectful.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That would be very chill, Zarin.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:21Speaker 2: And then Mary shares that she has to keep moving forward.
- 30:23Speaker 2: It's what Robert would want.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 1: She's trying to stay strong. And she had said at
- 30:29Speaker 1: one point, like, I'm trying not to cry because crying
- 30:33Speaker 1: doesn't solve anything.
- 30:36Speaker 2: And then Mary looks at the group's acts of kindness.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And she said, wow, God has given me a family.
- 30:42Speaker 2: And her own sister and brother haven't even shown up.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Or even called.
- 30:46Speaker 1: That made me sick to my stomach.
- 30:48Speaker 3: I know. That made me so sad.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You put everything aside, especially with family. You do not
- 30:53Speaker 1: reach out to your sister when you're, wow.
- 30:58Speaker 3: And like, this is a tragic death. Like, it's heartbreaking.
- 31:01Speaker 3: He was a young guy. Like, this is everything is
- 31:05Speaker 3: forgotten at that point.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I mean, how do you still fight over Patty's stuff?
- 31:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 31:11Speaker 2: How can you say, like, I just don't I don't
- 31:13Speaker 2: want to reach out to her and just be like,
- 31:15Speaker 2: I love you.
- 31:15Speaker 3: I'm so sorry. If you need anything, I'm here.
- 31:20Speaker 2: And then, you know, because we know what's coming on
- 31:23Speaker 2: the rest of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 31:25Speaker 2: It's not going to there's only going to be a
- 31:28Speaker 2: certain amount of time that they're there to fully comfort Mary.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 31:33Speaker 3: It's because it's going to shift into the other dramas. Oh,
- 31:37Speaker 3: of course.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And it's going to be hard to watch when you
- 31:42Speaker 1: know that Mary's going through so much. It's like all
- 31:44Speaker 1: this petty stuff really doesn't matter.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Do you think that Mary's not going to be at
- 31:48Speaker 2: a bunch of the events because of this?
- 31:51Speaker 1: Probably.
- 31:51Speaker 3: I feel like we're not going to see.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like Mary's given us so much
- 31:55Speaker 2: by just sharing this, opening the dialogue about this. Yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I think it's going to be really hard for her.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I think it's too soon and too raw. I think
- 32:05Speaker 1: that she will do her best because I think she
- 32:07Speaker 1: is a team player. Yeah. And I think she had said...
- 32:12Speaker 1: I had heard she said to somebody that.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I have to move on. I can't just, you know,
- 32:19Speaker 1: sit at home. Yeah.
- 32:20Speaker 3: I can't just sit at home.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I have to, you know, things like that. Sometimes you
- 32:24Speaker 1: have to keep yourself a little bit busy.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Yeah. If not, you just get worse and worse.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Like sometimes like people, their bodies just shut down. Like
- 32:34Speaker 1: they can't physically do anything, but Mary seems like she's
- 32:37Speaker 1: very strong and her faith is strong. And, oh, and
- 32:41Speaker 1: they said that his funeral was upbeat and didn't, did
- 32:44Speaker 1: Kyle go to the funeral?
- 32:46Speaker 3: I think Kyle went to the funeral. I think Kyle
- 32:48Speaker 3: and Cynthia did.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:51Speaker 1: It was just, it was a heartbreaking, it was a
- 32:53Speaker 1: hard one to watch.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it was really hard. It was really sad.
- 32:58Speaker 2: But yeah, so that's how they finish up the episode.
- 33:02Speaker 2: So they start the episode, you know, with Mary and
- 33:06Speaker 2: then they end it with Mary and both times your
- 33:09Speaker 2: heart just, it just goes. There's, there's, and you, I
- 33:15Speaker 2: kind of, there's just this moment where you're like, yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 2: you know, she did have to go through something.
- 33:20Speaker 3: She is still going through something. It's not over. Yeah.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Like she's still probably feeling so much pain.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I can't even, it just makes me nauseous to think
- 33:32Speaker 1: about it. I know.
- 33:34Speaker 2: But to try to switch to a different note, a
- 33:38Speaker 2: little bit of a lighter note really quickly, who would
- 33:41Speaker 2: you say is your favorite these days?
- 33:44Speaker 3: You can't say Mary.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Well, it's hard on the, because this episode was so
- 33:50Speaker 1: heavy and so like sad, like we didn't really get
- 33:54Speaker 1: to see too much.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 3: We didn't get to see too much drama. Yeah. I mean, I,
- 34:00Speaker 3: I really like Angie K.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I love Angie and I love Lisa. I mean, I
- 34:05Speaker 1: like them all in different ways, but, um, Angie and
- 34:10Speaker 1: Lisa are my, my top.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Um, I know.
- 34:15Speaker 3: But I like Bronwyn, too. I can't. This show is
- 34:17Speaker 3: just a good show. So I'm excited to see what's
- 34:19Speaker 3: to come.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I'm glad that they're back.
- 34:22Speaker 3: And I'm wondering what we got a lot.
- 34:23Speaker 1: We have New York back. We have Salt Lake City back.
- 34:26Speaker 1: We have Potomac coming. We Jeff Lewis has reached out.
- 34:31Speaker 1: He would like to come on to tease. So I'm
- 34:33Speaker 1: thinking like maybe we interview him in studio.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 3: And we've also got Mormon wives, Mormon wives.
- 34:41Speaker 1: The Golden Light premieres on October 20th.
- 34:45Speaker 3: I keep calling it the Golden Girls.
- 34:47Speaker 1: I do too. Are we going to recap that?
- 34:50Speaker 3: I don't know. I think we have to watch it
- 34:51Speaker 3: and see.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I don't know why I don't know why I don't
- 34:57Speaker 1: trade her to Bravo. That's what I was saying.
- 34:59Speaker 3: I was like, I don't, I don't really know how
- 35:01Speaker 3: I feel about it. Like I know we can go
- 35:03Speaker 3: to Hulu.
- 35:04Speaker 2: And watch Mormon wives and those types of things. I
- 35:06Speaker 2: don't feel like a trader, but there's something about watching
- 35:09Speaker 2: the golden life that I feel and recapping it.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I'm like, Oh, what's going on? What's going on with traders?
- 35:16Speaker 1: I feel like they've been off air for a while.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I know that the civilian one coming out soon, but
- 35:22Speaker 1: do the, Celebrity one? Do we?
- 35:25Speaker 3: Well, they haven't made an announcement.
- 35:28Speaker 2: But I feel like if I go by just like
- 35:31Speaker 2: watching television shows in general, I feel like normally Special
- 35:34Speaker 2: Forces comes out. And I realize they're probably not even
- 35:37Speaker 2: on the same network. But I feel like Special Forces
- 35:40Speaker 2: comes out and then Traitors.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:43Speaker 2: So I don't know. I guess it normally airs in January.
- 35:47Speaker 2: So we have some time.
- 35:50Speaker 1: So we got the picture of golden life. The girls
- 35:53Speaker 1: are in pastels, lavenders, light blues, yellow, sitting on a fountain,
- 36:01Speaker 1: an e-fountain.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 36:05Speaker 1: It looks pretty. It looks kind of AI. It looks
- 36:07Speaker 1: a little AI.
- 36:09Speaker 2: It looks AI. And also, I didn't know Ramona was
- 36:12Speaker 2: on it. I thought Ramona was canceled. No, well, she
- 36:17Speaker 2: did go through a period.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Is that Ramona? Jill, yeah, she was.
- 36:20Speaker 1: For a little bit. Remember she got uninvited to BravoCon?
- 36:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 1: But Jill Zarin is the one that got kicked off.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Oh, it was Jill Zarin.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Jill Zarin did something new in the press again. She
- 36:32Speaker 1: went after a restaurant and made this big deal, then
- 36:35Speaker 1: realized she read it wrong.
- 36:37Speaker 3: You're kidding me.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Uh-uh.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I'm like, girl, just sit back.
- 36:41Speaker 3: What is it that she did the time before she.
- 36:45Speaker 3: I mean, which was so, it was something so stupid.
- 36:47Speaker 3: I can't, like.
- 36:48Speaker 1: It was Super Bowl. She was said, made a comment
- 36:51Speaker 1: that could be.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Oh, she was talking about Bad Bunny.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yeah. All I know is I just looked at a
- 36:58Speaker 2: little bit of what this season of The Golden Life has.
- 37:01Speaker 2: And the first thing Luann says is, I'm coming here
- 37:04Speaker 2: to Palm Beach to regain my power.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Wow.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Wow. Get it.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Is it surprising that Luann was chosen for Ultimate Girls
- 37:15Speaker 1: Trip while she was going to be doing a show
- 37:17Speaker 1: for E?
- 37:19Speaker 3: I don't know. Do you think she had to get
- 37:21Speaker 3: permission to film the E show?
- 37:24Speaker 1: I doubt it. I doubt it because her contract, they
- 37:27Speaker 1: had been off air for so many years. Yeah. And
- 37:31Speaker 1: Rony had been recast. So I doubt she was tied
- 37:33Speaker 1: into any kind of contract.
- 37:36Speaker 3: I'm actually just shocked that this is going to happen.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I mean, it's going to open the doors for a
- 37:41Speaker 1: lot of housewives that are no longer on air.
- 37:45Speaker 3: On the show. Yeah. Well, who knows?
- 37:49Speaker 2: But I think it's, you know, a good promising start
- 37:52Speaker 2: to Salt Lake. I feel like we have a good
- 37:55Speaker 2: group of shows we're watching now. And it just keeps
- 37:59Speaker 2: we keep we keep getting more. Yep.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Bring it on.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Bring it on.
- 38:05Speaker 1: OK, guys, thanks for thanks for listening. Make sure you
- 38:09Speaker 1: follow us on Instagram to tease in a pod.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Bye.
