Latest / The Mark Simone Show / Hour 2: An Andrew Cuomo radio show?
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Mark simone, he's on seven tenof.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, the snow is coming. The snow storm will hit
- 0:13Speaker 2: late late Saturday night. Let me get all the latest here. Now,
- 0:19Speaker 2: there's several different models. That's why you'll hear one forecast
- 0:23Speaker 2: say six inches. One forecast will say twelve inches, seventeen inches.
- 0:27Speaker 2: There's all these different models. Here's the one that's usually
- 0:30Speaker 2: the most accurate. It has the snow starting Saturday night,
- 0:35Speaker 2: after midnight, most likely around one am. It'll snow overnight Saturday,
- 0:41Speaker 2: it'll snow all day Sunday, Sunday night, overnight Sunday night,
- 0:45Speaker 2: and it'll stop Monday morning. But it's expected that it
- 0:49Speaker 2: could leave at least six inches, some models going up
- 0:52Speaker 2: to fifteen seventeen inches. Figure six to twelve inches. And
- 0:57Speaker 2: we're pretty close. Now, we're just a couple of days away.
- 0:59Speaker 2: So forecast gets much much, much, much more accurate when
- 1:03Speaker 2: you get that close. So it's gonna be a disastrous
- 1:07Speaker 2: rush hour Monday morning. Now, the good news is Monday's
- 1:10Speaker 2: the day most people don't go to work anymore. Monday
- 1:13Speaker 2: for most people to work at home day. Even here
- 1:17Speaker 2: at Ieheart, it's pretty much work at home day Monday,
- 1:19Speaker 2: so that'll help have all day Monday to shovel it
- 1:24Speaker 2: out and clean things up for Tuesday rush hour. Let
- 1:28Speaker 2: me just check on Monday. The high is only twenty
- 1:33Speaker 2: four on Monday, which means nothing will melt. Nothing will
- 1:37Speaker 2: melt on Monday. Tuesday the highest fifteen degrees. Okay, Actually
- 1:43Speaker 2: I'm looking next week. It's gonna be around twenty degrees
- 1:47Speaker 2: all week, so whatever falls is going to stay a
- 1:51Speaker 2: long long time. We're not gonna get rid of the
- 1:53Speaker 2: snow that easily. It's not going to melt away that easily.
- 1:55Speaker 2: So this is not good. But remember we used to
- 1:57Speaker 2: have this all the time. This used to be typical
- 2:00Speaker 2: winter event. Now it's like once or twice a year
- 2:04Speaker 2: we get it and most of the time no snow,
- 2:07Speaker 2: So that's good. Jack Smith testifying today in front of
- 2:11Speaker 2: Congress doesn't seem to be making any news. Testimony will
- 2:15Speaker 2: resume a little later, but so far he's just denying
- 2:18Speaker 2: all the charges against him, which char well the first charge.
- 2:24Speaker 2: He shouldn't have been the special council. There's no reason
- 2:27Speaker 2: on earth for him to be the special counsel. If
- 2:30Speaker 2: you wanted to have and appoint a special Council to
- 2:33Speaker 2: look into something President Trump whatever. There's about twelve hundred
- 2:38Speaker 2: guys right in Washington that are qualified to be the
- 2:42Speaker 2: Special Council. You would normally pick one of them. They
- 2:46Speaker 2: went halfway around the world to fly in this weirdo
- 2:49Speaker 2: from the Hague, this bug eyed weirdo. You remember the
- 2:53Speaker 2: picture of him with the cape. This Jack Smith. The
- 2:56Speaker 2: reason they went all the way around the world to
- 2:58Speaker 2: bring this weirdo in. He has a history of being
- 3:01Speaker 2: a hit man, a political hitman. If you need a
- 3:05Speaker 2: Republican opponent taken out, he goes after them. So rather
- 3:09Speaker 2: than a point a normal, legitimate, balanced, fair prosecutor, they
- 3:16Speaker 2: went and brought the hitman in from the Hague. He's
- 3:19Speaker 2: done it before. He went after Governor MacDonald of Virginia
- 3:22Speaker 2: got him convicted of twelve things. But in the final
- 3:27Speaker 2: I think it went all the way to the Supreme Court.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Every conviction was tossed out and the court ruled it
- 3:32Speaker 2: was politically motivated. So that's the other history of Jack Smith.
- 3:35Speaker 2: He will get these guys and get him convicted, but
- 3:38Speaker 2: it always gets overturned and tossed out as it's just
- 3:41Speaker 2: vicious political charges. So that's what this was here. There
- 3:45Speaker 2: was no reason on earth to have a special counsel
- 3:48Speaker 2: go after Donald Trump in a document dispute. That's all.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It was a dispute about some documents, very few documents.
- 3:56Speaker 2: But the Archives people in Washington a bunch of swamp people,
- 4:01Speaker 2: you know, real left wing swamp that run the Archives,
- 4:05Speaker 2: and they loved fighting with Donald Trump. So they came
- 4:08Speaker 2: up with some documents they wanted returned, and they demanded it,
- 4:12Speaker 2: and Trump was appealing it, which perfectly legal and constitutional.
- 4:17Speaker 2: You're allowed to appeal it. You can go to court,
- 4:20Speaker 2: you know. And when it comes to a document dispute
- 4:23Speaker 2: where the Archives wants a document returned, that's a court matter.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You go to court, you sue Donald Trump. It's not
- 4:29Speaker 2: a criminal thing where you come out guns blazing and
- 4:32Speaker 2: go into somebody's house. It's unheard of. It's preposterous. So
- 4:36Speaker 2: hopefully this will all come out today. But this was
- 4:40Speaker 2: Merrick Garland, the dirty, dirty Attorney General. This was sleazy
- 4:44Speaker 2: Joe Biden with his law fair ordering all of this.
- 4:47Speaker 2: So they not only rated President Trump's home, they were
- 4:51Speaker 2: given the ok to use deadly force. Now, this is
- 4:55Speaker 2: mar A Lago, which is basically a country, club and
- 5:00Speaker 2: it's filled with old ladies everybody, and there's one hundred
- 5:03Speaker 2: years old mar A Lago is a bunch of old
- 5:05Speaker 2: ladies all getting dressed up and saying how are you.
- 5:09Speaker 2: It's that's all it is. Can you imagine giving the
- 5:12Speaker 2: ok to use deadly force in there? It's absolutely ridiculous,
- 5:20Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous. That's like giving you're gonna go to the
- 5:23Speaker 2: Southampton Country Club, you have the okay to use deadly
- 5:28Speaker 2: force in there. It's just absolutely ridiculous. Not only that
- 5:31Speaker 2: they go in a thousand agents, machine guns, they go
- 5:35Speaker 2: through everything, They go through Barren Trump's room, they went through,
- 5:39Speaker 2: This is absolutely true. They went through Millennia Trump's underwear drawer,
- 5:44Speaker 2: just like Polly Walnuts did in The Sopranos. It's a
- 5:48Speaker 2: disgusting thing. Now, well, they were looking for classified document
- 5:52Speaker 2: First of all, there were no classified documents. And remember
- 5:55Speaker 2: the pictures of the boxes, thousands of boxes, stacks of box,
- 6:00Speaker 2: rooms full of boxes, ballrooms filled with boxes. It turned
- 6:04Speaker 2: out in the end all they found were thirty five
- 6:06Speaker 2: classified documents. If you put it in a folder, the
- 6:10Speaker 2: thirty five, it's one inch of one box. So all
- 6:13Speaker 2: those pictures you saw, those boxes. Those were not classified documents,
- 6:17Speaker 2: and the handful that Jack Smith found were absolutely nothing.
- 6:22Speaker 2: There was nothing in them. Of any most classified documents,
- 6:25Speaker 2: about ninety percent of them are nothing because they just
- 6:28Speaker 2: overclassify everything. Sometimes it's the weather report for a battlefield,
- 6:32Speaker 2: it's they're nothing. There was nothing in any of the
- 6:35Speaker 2: classified documents that had any relevance or seriousness. If there was,
- 6:39Speaker 2: they would have released it. They would have said, he
- 6:41Speaker 2: here's what we found. They found nothing, absolutely nothing. Now
- 6:46Speaker 2: Trump had these thirty five documents. Joe Biden at the
- 6:49Speaker 2: same time had over three thousand classes. Oh actually, excuse me,
- 6:52Speaker 2: seven thousand classified documents. And that's different. You know one thing.
- 6:57Speaker 2: But the President Trump, they were kids classified documents. He
- 7:01Speaker 2: legally had every right he owned them. In fact, he
- 7:04Speaker 2: could have declassified them anytime. In the case of Joe Biden,
- 7:06Speaker 2: he was just a senator and a vice president. He
- 7:09Speaker 2: had no authorization to ever take those classified documents. So
- 7:13Speaker 2: that was a different matter. But of course it was Biden,
- 7:15Speaker 2: so they let it go completely. The other thing he's
- 7:19Speaker 2: testifying about is he had an investigation Trump was trying
- 7:24Speaker 2: to corrupt and overturn the twenty twenty election. He was
- 7:29Speaker 2: trying to tamper. Absolutely not. I guess they're referring to
- 7:32Speaker 2: that phone called the audio. We've heard he's on the
- 7:36Speaker 2: phone with a Georgia official. Guess I need to find
- 7:39Speaker 2: fourteen thousand more votes. First of all, that's a normal thing.
- 7:44Speaker 2: It's done in every election. The al Gore team. Several
- 7:48Speaker 2: members of the al Gore team have testified that in
- 7:52Speaker 2: that year two thousand, they made the same exact phone
- 7:55Speaker 2: call to every single county in Florida looking for more votes.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And if you said to the guy, I need to
- 8:02Speaker 2: find fourteen thousand books, it doesn't mean create or manufacture.
- 8:06Speaker 2: It means go find them. It means they're there, they exist,
- 8:09Speaker 2: just go find them. Hey, today, expect somebody to get arrested.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Or the invasion of the church in Minneapolis. The protesters
- 8:20Speaker 2: burst into that church, stop the proceedings, stop the service.
- 8:25Speaker 2: It was horrifying. It's illegal, it's an actual crime. If
- 8:29Speaker 2: you read the actual law, it says any attempt to
- 8:32Speaker 2: interfere with or intimidate the worshippers or interfere with the
- 8:37Speaker 2: service is a felony. So expect to arrest.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Now.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Apparently there was a guy who helped organize this he's
- 8:43Speaker 2: a lawyer. It's now said he will be arrested today.
- 8:46Speaker 2: So by the end of the day you should see
- 8:49Speaker 2: this guy arrested and then a lot of the people
- 8:52Speaker 2: who went in there. Don Lemon is facing serious criminal jeopardy.
- 8:57Speaker 2: He could be arrested, so we'll see what happens. You're
- 9:00Speaker 2: not allowed to use the word illegals anymore. This is
- 9:02Speaker 2: a new thing from CNN and from Chris Guomo. I
- 9:05Speaker 2: got this whole new campaign. Now you can't say the
- 9:07Speaker 2: word illegals. But that's what they are. They're illegal aliens.
- 9:11Speaker 2: It says right in the law, illegal aliens. I guess
- 9:14Speaker 2: you're supposed to go back to undocumented, but that doesn't
- 9:18Speaker 2: make any sense. It's illegal. You've entered the country illegally. Illegally,
- 9:23Speaker 2: you're an illegal alien. That's exactly what it is. Undocumented
- 9:28Speaker 2: doesn't make any sense. If you stole a car and
- 9:31Speaker 2: you're driving it and it's not your car, are you
- 9:34Speaker 2: just undocumented? No, it's illegal. You stole it. The same
- 9:37Speaker 2: thing here when your break into the country, you've tried
- 9:39Speaker 2: to steal citizenship. I love when CNN tries to fact
- 9:44Speaker 2: check Donald Trump. You know it. I think it was
- 9:48Speaker 2: at Davos, he talked about the tariff springing in so
- 9:50Speaker 2: much revenue. He said they brought in eighteen trillion dollars,
- 9:55Speaker 2: a staggering figure. Eighteen trillion. Now, you know Trump, he
- 9:59Speaker 2: can embellish. You know, if it's ten million, he'll tell
- 10:01Speaker 2: you it's forty million. If it's a hundred million, you'll
- 10:03Speaker 2: tell you it's a billion. He loves to embellish. But
- 10:06Speaker 2: the problem is CNN is fact checking him, and the
- 10:09Speaker 2: New York Times is fact checking his speech, and they
- 10:12Speaker 2: said he claimed that eighteen trillion came in from the tariffs,
- 10:15Speaker 2: Well it was actually nine trillion. Well, first of all,
- 10:19Speaker 2: I wouldn't trust the CNN or New York Times fact check.
- 10:21Speaker 2: They're probably underestimate. But let's say it was nine trillion.
- 10:26Speaker 2: If those tariffs brought in nine trillion, that's staggering. You know,
- 10:31Speaker 2: the whole budget of the US is like four trillion
- 10:33Speaker 2: a year, four trillion a year. So if in one
- 10:36Speaker 2: year we bought a nine trillion, that's double our budget.
- 10:39Speaker 2: If we kept that up with the tariffs, we'd pay
- 10:42Speaker 2: off the debt. Nine trillion coming in a year, that
- 10:46Speaker 2: would pay off the debt. That deafs everything it would be.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And this is according to CNN. So speaking of the Cuomos,
- 10:54Speaker 2: Andrew Cuomo has absolutely nothing to do. Ex governor chased
- 11:00Speaker 2: out of office, the left Albany with the police chasing him,
- 11:04Speaker 2: ran for mayor, which was the most hopeless fool's errand
- 11:07Speaker 2: I've ever seen. People don't like him. He had every
- 11:12Speaker 2: advantage you could have running for mayor. Nobody could have
- 11:16Speaker 2: had the board more tilted for him. He had everybody
- 11:21Speaker 2: day and night saying vote for Cuomo, don't vote for Curtis.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And they tried to chase Curtis out of the race.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Everybody on the air day and night, even the President
- 11:30Speaker 2: United States, vote for Cuomo. Who has ever had that
- 11:32Speaker 2: kind of an advantage in election. Well, even with that,
- 11:36Speaker 2: Cuomo lost, just got clobbered. And if Curtis had not
- 11:40Speaker 2: been in the race, it wouldn't have made any Differenceoma.
- 11:43Speaker 2: If he took every single Curtis voter gave it to Cuomo,
- 11:46Speaker 2: he still lost by like four points. He had no shot. Ever,
- 11:50Speaker 2: so now what does he do. He can't even he
- 11:53Speaker 2: might realize he can't run for anything. Ever, again, you
- 11:57Speaker 2: can get jobs in the private sector. They'll pay a
- 11:59Speaker 2: lot of money to be on a board, or they'll
- 12:01Speaker 2: pay a lot of money to be a rain maker
- 12:04Speaker 2: for a firm, So he can do that, but he
- 12:07Speaker 2: needs the public eye. So from what I'm hearing the
- 12:11Speaker 2: last couple of weeks, he's been trying to get a
- 12:13Speaker 2: radio show. He's been calling anywhere and everywhere to get
- 12:16Speaker 2: a radio show. His brother Chris Cuomo is now on
- 12:21Speaker 2: Serious every morning, so I imagine that was like the
- 12:24Speaker 2: first call, Hey set me up with sirious. I want
- 12:27Speaker 2: to talk to them. And so far we're not hearing
- 12:29Speaker 2: about an Andrew Cuomo show, so maybe that's not going
- 12:33Speaker 2: to happen there. The Cuomo style does not work on
- 12:37Speaker 2: the radio. The best orator ever in the family was
- 12:40Speaker 2: Mario Cuomo, and I loved him. He was an incredible orator,
- 12:44Speaker 2: and he was kind of a mentor for me. He
- 12:47Speaker 2: was a debate coach for me back then in those
- 12:50Speaker 2: days he was governor. We used to have a thing
- 12:52Speaker 2: where he once a month, he would come on my
- 12:54Speaker 2: show once a month for an hour and we'd debate.
- 12:56Speaker 2: But when it was over we got off the air.
- 12:58Speaker 2: He would then go over everything I did wrong, everything
- 13:01Speaker 2: I should work on. He was like a debate coach
- 13:03Speaker 2: just went on for a couple of years. He was
- 13:05Speaker 2: great at this unbelievable skills as an orator on stage
- 13:10Speaker 2: in a debate. But he gets out of office and
- 13:13Speaker 2: he decides he'll do a radio show. And this guy
- 13:15Speaker 2: was really hot then, so I figure what network it is.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Gave him a big network radio show, and I couldn't
- 13:21Speaker 2: wait to hear it was disaster. The Cuomo style on
- 13:24Speaker 2: stage great on the radio, it's just all wrong. It's
- 13:27Speaker 2: like ponderous lecturing. It's it didn't work at all, did
- 13:33Speaker 2: not work. They had to pull that show off the
- 13:34Speaker 2: air after a few weeks. And then he tried it
- 13:37Speaker 2: again a local show, same thing. It just bombed. And
- 13:42Speaker 2: you can see the same thing with Andrew Cuomo. Chris
- 13:45Speaker 2: Cuomo a little better because most of his life he's
- 13:47Speaker 2: been a TV anchor, not a public speaker. But he's
- 13:51Speaker 2: on Serious every morning. I don't mind mentioning it, because
- 13:55Speaker 2: the hell's going to listen to that? I love sirious.
- 13:57Speaker 2: But every they got like seven thousand channels. Each channel
- 14:00Speaker 2: has like a thousand listeners. The only thing worth listening
- 14:04Speaker 2: to us there the Frank Sinati channel. It's okay, but
- 14:07Speaker 2: you don't need it anymore. You know, you can do
- 14:09Speaker 2: iHeart any of those apps you can get all that.
- 14:11Speaker 2: The only good thing Serious is the only thing it's
- 14:13Speaker 2: good for. If you're in your car, you're not near
- 14:15Speaker 2: a TV. You can listen to Fox News, or you
- 14:18Speaker 2: can listen to Fox Business. You listen to Cudlow. That's
- 14:22Speaker 2: the only thing that Serious app is good for. Hey,
- 14:24Speaker 2: we'll take some Jimmy Faylor will be with us in
- 14:26Speaker 2: a few minutes. Jimmy Fayler coming up. We'll take some calls.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Next.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 14:36Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 14:39Speaker 1: time and tap the breset button. Now, now back to
- 14:43Speaker 1: the Mark Simone Show on woor.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Dennis in
- 14:49Speaker 2: Long Island. Dennis, how you doing.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I'm well, Mark, good morning.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I've got a question.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Why were there so.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Many well, why are there so many US Democrat governments
- 15:00Speaker 4: tending dobbeles?
- 15:01Speaker 3: What's that all about?
- 15:01Speaker 5: I mean, we know about.
- 15:02Speaker 4: David Houston, but Greshen Whitmo was there, and Share from
- 15:06Speaker 4: Kentucky was there what's this all about.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Oh well, Davos is all billionaires, CEOs, people with tons
- 15:12Speaker 2: of money. If you're a Democrat governor, you chase billionaires
- 15:15Speaker 2: all over the place because they're donors. It's like a
- 15:17Speaker 2: convection of donors. It's the most important thing for a
- 15:21Speaker 2: democratic governor. Donors, donors, donors. And you notice the names
- 15:24Speaker 2: you mentioned that people are thinking are running in twenty
- 15:26Speaker 2: twenty eight, so they need to line up these donors. Now,
- 15:29Speaker 2: most people that go to Davos don't go for the seminars,
- 15:33Speaker 2: the speeches. They go to just be on the side
- 15:34Speaker 2: of what they call the sidelines, where you meet these donors.
- 15:37Speaker 2: You make deals, You win them over, even the business guys.
- 15:41Speaker 2: They're there to make private deals on the on the side.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Let's go to Jerry and Greenwich. Jerry, how you doing
- 15:48Speaker 2: very well?
- 15:48Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Mike.
- 15:49Speaker 5: I want you to know that in the beck window
- 15:51Speaker 5: of my car, I have a sign w R Mark
- 15:55Speaker 5: ten o'clock. I love your short so much.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Now let me ask you a question. Is that car
- 16:00Speaker 2: a black Cadillac?
- 16:02Speaker 5: Yes?
- 16:03Speaker 2: You know why? I know that somebody sent me a
- 16:04Speaker 2: picture of it.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Oh he did, Oh good.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Somebody saw the car with the big sign and took.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Everybody should put one of those signs in the back
- 16:11Speaker 2: of their car. Listen to Mark somehow.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Another thing. This morning, I went shopping with my wife
- 16:16Speaker 5: at in Stamford and I was wearing my Trump hat.
- 16:19Speaker 5: I had three ladies saying I love your hat, and
- 16:22Speaker 5: two fellows I love your hat. You're in style.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Where did you go shopping in Stanford?
- 16:29Speaker 5: At the shop right shop, shop right store.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Oh that's a very good shop right there. You got
- 16:35Speaker 2: a lot of good supermarkets there in Stanford. You got
- 16:36Speaker 2: a big new Whole Foods right up on the hill there,
- 16:39Speaker 2: and you got a new Wetlands in Norwalk. And all right, Jerry,
- 16:43Speaker 2: thanks for calling.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I hate to break it to you, but you know,
- 16:45Speaker 2: if you put on a Trump hat and you walk around,
- 16:49Speaker 2: it could be Stanford, but even Long Island, gorgeous women
- 16:52Speaker 2: will come up to you. It's quite a phenomenon. Beautiful women.
- 16:55Speaker 2: They love Trump, they love that hat. Just wear the
- 16:57Speaker 2: hat everywhere. You'd be amazed at the reaction you'll get.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Let's go to Rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing.
- 17:04Speaker 4: I had pretty good. Got my wife out of the
- 17:06Speaker 4: hospital this morning for a bunyant surgery. So we've been
- 17:08Speaker 4: up since five, but she's doing good. Now. You know,
- 17:11Speaker 4: it's funny you mentioned about women because when you look
- 17:13Speaker 4: at the women on YouTube, are on TV, the Republican
- 17:17Speaker 4: women are always ten thousand times better looking in the
- 17:19Speaker 4: Liberals and these crazy, wacky white women you see in
- 17:22Speaker 4: the streets.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I was going to make where that Trump had
- 17:25Speaker 2: a lot of good, really good looking women will come
- 17:27Speaker 2: up to you, where Joe Biden had. Look at the
- 17:32Speaker 2: beasts that will come up to you.
- 17:35Speaker 4: They announced on TV. They announced a little while on
- 17:38Speaker 4: Fox that they arrested the person in charge of the
- 17:41Speaker 4: protests at the church, and he arrested the second woman
- 17:44Speaker 4: in charge that was on the school board. So she's done.
- 17:47Speaker 4: And I loved this bipartisan contempt vote against the Clintons.
- 17:51Speaker 4: That shows you how ir relevant both Hillary and Bill
- 17:54Speaker 4: are that the Democrats are voting to put you.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but you got to remember, for a lot of Democrats,
- 17:58Speaker 2: especially today's Democrats, they don't like the Clinton's. They think
- 18:00Speaker 2: of them as to them, the Clintons are like Uncle
- 18:03Speaker 2: Leo on Seinfeld. They're like old dinosaurs from the past. Well,
- 18:08Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mark Marco. I'm okay.
- 18:14Speaker 6: If I wore my docor Maga hat in the neighborhood
- 18:17Speaker 6: I live, and I probably wind up in jail because
- 18:21Speaker 6: one of these fat, skanky Rollipoli women would try and
- 18:25Speaker 6: take it from me, and they probably wind up with
- 18:29Speaker 6: a double slap in their face.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right. Let me clarify. I don't. I'm not
- 18:34Speaker 2: saying where it in the New York City. I'm saying
- 18:35Speaker 2: wear it out in Long Island, where in westwestern Connecticut.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Do not wear it in the city.
- 18:39Speaker 6: That's different because where I live, which is the center
- 18:43Speaker 6: of liberal town here in Park Slope, forget it. I
- 18:47Speaker 6: get dirty looks when I wear my Trump pat. They
- 18:52Speaker 6: should also arrest Don foul Cake Lemon for breaking into
- 18:56Speaker 6: that church under four pretenses. I often hear you talk
- 19:01Speaker 6: about the ed Cotch, the eighty twenty percent rule. All right,
- 19:07Speaker 6: I like eighty percent of what Trump's doing. Yes, ten percent,
- 19:11Speaker 6: I don't like. That's fine, let me please let.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Me Well, we only got twenty seconds. We gotta go
- 19:15Speaker 2: to the all.
- 19:16Speaker 6: Right, Remember before Christmas, I told you one of my
- 19:19Speaker 6: packages was being held up in Italy. It was a
- 19:22Speaker 6: gift package. It had cakes, cookies and stuff for the holidays.
- 19:26Speaker 6: It was in short for sixty five dollars. They brought
- 19:30Speaker 6: it to my house. The government wanted a tariff. All right.
- 19:35Speaker 2: A lot of people don't like that test, but Vincent,
- 19:37Speaker 2: great call. We got to go for the news because
- 19:39Speaker 2: when we come back, Jimmy Taylor will be with us.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Smart all right, Jimmy Taylor will be with us next
- 19:43Speaker 2: on seven to ten WRY.
- 19:46Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show.
- 19:48Speaker 2: On seventeen wor Well. Jimmy Taylor, great talk show host,
- 19:54Speaker 2: brilliant comedian, and he's now on WR every weeknight nine
- 19:58Speaker 2: to midnight. You got a lit him to night every
- 20:00Speaker 2: week night, nine to midnight. He also does the best
- 20:03Speaker 2: late night show on television, Saturday Night's ten o'clock Fox
- 20:07Speaker 2: News Channel, with the best monologue in television. Even President
- 20:11Speaker 2: Trump came out and said he watches it. He's a
- 20:14Speaker 2: big fan of it. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing? You
- 20:18Speaker 2: know what?
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm still rolling from that Trump tweet about my show,
- 20:21Speaker 1: But I want to break some news here because Joe
- 20:23Speaker 1: Biden also shouted me out on MySpace. Trump Trump wrote
- 20:30Speaker 1: a KNIGHTE note on Twitter Biden's over there still getting
- 20:33Speaker 1: his MySpace stage together.
- 20:34Speaker 3: But it was cool Mark.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Trump from the trump Man well as Donald Trump said,
- 20:40Speaker 2: it's the best monologue in television. And obviously he's a
- 20:43Speaker 2: big fan of yours. So and it's the only you know,
- 20:47Speaker 2: we talked last time about Johnny Carson. You're the only
- 20:50Speaker 2: thing that's even in that ballpark anymore. Everybody else is
- 20:52Speaker 2: so political. It's like a real good old fashioned late
- 20:55Speaker 2: night talk show that isn't so partisan. So and have
- 21:01Speaker 2: you heard any more from the President?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Really?
- 21:04Speaker 3: Just that?
- 21:04Speaker 1: And I took to a couple of guys in the
- 21:05Speaker 1: White House who that I know, and I was like, wow,
- 21:08Speaker 1: just you know, tell the big man.
- 21:10Speaker 4: This made my day.
- 21:10Speaker 3: And they were like, oh, he loves you. He's like,
- 21:12Speaker 3: I'm surprised he hasn't said something sooner.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And I was like, get out of here, because the
- 21:15Speaker 1: minute you hear that, right and you realize he really
- 21:18Speaker 1: does watch the show. Now, I've got to figure out
- 21:21Speaker 1: how I'm going to make fun of him this week
- 21:23Speaker 1: without getting my house hit in the drone strike, you
- 21:25Speaker 1: know what I mean? Because the whole point of comedy,
- 21:29Speaker 1: and this is why I.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Was thrilled that he liked that monologue.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Is we make fun of Trump in the monologue, not
- 21:33Speaker 1: in like a malicious way, but the whole point of
- 21:36Speaker 1: it is we're holding up a mirror to society and
- 21:38Speaker 1: we're kind of.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Laugh at it the whole thing. So the fact that
- 21:41Speaker 3: he could laugh at himself.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I think is something a lot of other politicians stand
- 21:46Speaker 1: to benefit from because we're sure laughing at him just
- 21:49Speaker 1: the same.
- 21:49Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, you can make fun of m I
- 21:51Speaker 2: used to, you know, I believe it not in the
- 21:52Speaker 2: old days, the nineties, I was the MC of a
- 21:54Speaker 2: million Donald Trump Rose and I would make all kinds
- 21:57Speaker 2: of jokes about he never minded. And if you watch
- 21:59Speaker 2: him in those Friars Roast or even the Al Smith dinner,
- 22:02Speaker 2: they really go after him and he loves it. It
- 22:04Speaker 2: doesn't bother him at all. So you can do it.
- 22:07Speaker 3: No, he's good. So it's good to know. It's good
- 22:10Speaker 3: to know.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I'm not on a government watch list right now.
- 22:14Speaker 2: So where do we even start? Davos? Isn't that a
- 22:17Speaker 2: silly thing? That's like a convention of idiots, the Stavos thing.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It is funny, But like everybody listening has to know,
- 22:24Speaker 1: there's like a few events a year, like Davos. They
- 22:27Speaker 1: have that c CP two climate thing. It's a chance
- 22:30Speaker 1: for European leaders to fly in and do what they
- 22:32Speaker 1: do best, which is hookers. And once they get that
- 22:36Speaker 1: out of the way, there's a lot of ritzy cocktail
- 22:38Speaker 1: parties and then a bunch of empty platitudes about the environment.
- 22:43Speaker 1: The best one out there right now is the Katy
- 22:46Speaker 1: Perry Because for all of the leaders and the al
- 22:48Speaker 1: Gores at this climate thing, Katie Perry showed up yesterday
- 22:51Speaker 1: to lectureus about climate change. She was the one who
- 22:54Speaker 1: spent five hundred million gallons of fuel so she could
- 22:59Speaker 1: pretend she was an astronaut.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Do you remember that he.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Went up with Jeff Bezos's wife for three minutes and
- 23:04Speaker 1: thirty seconds and told us this was like an Apollo breakthrough.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I'm like, you weren't even in space long enough to
- 23:10Speaker 1: bring a phone charger. I'm like, come on, lady.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Well buy that al Gore. Didn't he look like a
- 23:18Speaker 2: real dinosaur, like an old relic from another century? Boy, Yes, Puffy.
- 23:23Speaker 1: What I love about it, Mark is two guys who
- 23:26Speaker 1: spent all our lives in New York is like when
- 23:28Speaker 1: we were kids.
- 23:29Speaker 4: If there was.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Someone screaming at you that he could control the weather,
- 23:33Speaker 1: you put the guy in a home, you know what
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 23:36Speaker 5: You didn't give him money and say go make.
- 23:38Speaker 1: A documentary like he doesn't know what he's doing. And
- 23:41Speaker 1: remember this, he's another guy who told us we can't
- 23:44Speaker 1: use so much electric electricity. Meanwhile, Tennessee mansion has an
- 23:48Speaker 1: electric bill that makes Las Vegas look hamish.
- 23:51Speaker 3: You know, like, come on, man.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Hey, Minnesota. These women, these angry white liberal women, this
- 24:01Speaker 2: is like a new phenomenon. And there's like millions of them.
- 24:03Speaker 2: They're just horrifying. And did you ever see protesters like
- 24:08Speaker 2: this before? They were never like this in the past.
- 24:11Speaker 4: No.
- 24:11Speaker 1: And you know, I used to think part of the
- 24:13Speaker 1: allure of a protest was like you'd see some hot chick. Yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 1: you'd say you were on their side, and you might
- 24:20Speaker 1: get a drink afterwoods.
- 24:23Speaker 6: They're not showing up.
- 24:24Speaker 3: They're not those these they're not those protests.
- 24:28Speaker 1: From the good old days. I've been saying this all week.
- 24:31Speaker 1: We don't need gun control, we need nosering control. Because
- 24:35Speaker 1: everyone buys a nose ring and immediately dyes their hair
- 24:38Speaker 1: purple and starts spitting on ICE agents and there has
- 24:41Speaker 1: to be a correlation here. I just wish there'd be
- 24:43Speaker 1: one good looking protester so I could find some sympathy
- 24:47Speaker 1: for them, you know what I mean. But I don't
- 24:49Speaker 1: look at any of these people and go, yeah, I'm
- 24:50Speaker 1: kind of rotten for them.
- 24:51Speaker 2: You know, Hey, meantime, like nineteen billion went missing in
- 24:55Speaker 2: Minnesota for those daycares. How come they're not protesting that.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Not a word about that anywhere.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I know.
- 25:01Speaker 3: It's so true, that's so funny.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And you know what's crazy about it is that one
- 25:05Speaker 1: of the reasons they're protesting ICE as hard as they
- 25:07Speaker 1: are is because they want the fraud arrests.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Because people are gonna get arrested for fraud.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Like in addition to people who got prosecuted.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Years back, there's gonna be new arrests from.
- 25:16Speaker 1: This DJ and they want them to look retaliatory, meaning
- 25:21Speaker 1: the people on the left, the Tim watson Is, the
- 25:22Speaker 1: Jacob Fries, the Keith Allison's, they're really fan in these
- 25:25Speaker 1: flames because when they finally get indicted, they want to go.
- 25:29Speaker 3: See Trump's coming after us because we told the truth.
- 25:32Speaker 1: About Y So everyone knows that, you know, come on, man,
- 25:36Speaker 1: if Jadie Vance is having his fourth kids, the vice
- 25:38Speaker 1: president shouldn't have more kids than the average daycare in Minneapolis, Like,
- 25:43Speaker 1: come on, that's nuts.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Hey. The Clintons have been held in contempt of Congress
- 25:48Speaker 2: for not showing up. Today's Democrats they really have no
- 25:51Speaker 2: love for the Clintons anymore, do they?
- 25:54Speaker 3: Yes?
- 25:54Speaker 1: But I love this though, that neither of them will
- 25:57Speaker 1: show up. They would rather go to jail than spend
- 25:59Speaker 1: the day together. Lock me up, lock him up?
- 26:06Speaker 3: You know. And again we've seen a lot of people.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Arrested for this. Steve Bannon, God popped for this. They
- 26:11Speaker 1: took in Peter Navarro for this, as you know. So
- 26:13Speaker 1: there's obviously a little bit of a double standard here.
- 26:16Speaker 1: And the thing is the Republicans, to their credit and
- 26:19Speaker 1: somewhat detriment, don't want to arrest their political opponents. They
- 26:22Speaker 1: know it looks bad and it creates a lot of
- 26:24Speaker 1: sympathy for the other side, which is what the Democrats
- 26:26Speaker 1: did when they arrested Trump. For a lot of people,
- 26:29Speaker 1: they suddenly started to see things his way, you know,
- 26:32Speaker 1: So the Democrats kind of know they'll get away with.
- 26:35Speaker 3: It, I think is the issue there.
- 26:37Speaker 1: And you know, for the Hillary thing, I don't know.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I think she wants to go to jail for this,
- 26:42Speaker 1: so they don't look into the other stuff.
- 26:45Speaker 3: God knows, what's that there?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy fails on every night here on w R
- 26:49Speaker 2: nine to midnight, every night, great show, nine to midnight.
- 26:52Speaker 2: What do you have on tonight show?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Oh, it's a big one tonight.
- 26:56Speaker 1: So we have Michelle Tafoya, who just now she's running
- 27:00Speaker 1: for Senate in Minnesota to try to clean.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Up this mess.
- 27:04Speaker 1: She just launched her campaign.
- 27:05Speaker 3: She's stopped him by.
- 27:06Speaker 1: My show to talk about it. Hopefully talk some sense
- 27:08Speaker 1: into these people.
- 27:10Speaker 3: And you know, I'm either I'm either gonna get a.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Good laugh or hopefully I get some of that fake
- 27:15Speaker 1: transportation money. You gotta work at the angles here, you know, Yeah.
- 27:18Speaker 2: To nine to midnight tonight. And don't make sure you
- 27:20Speaker 2: watch his Saturday night show. It's the best late night
- 27:23Speaker 2: talk show. It's Saturday nights at ten. President Trump tweeted
- 27:28Speaker 2: out that he loves it. It's his favorite monologue every week.
- 27:31Speaker 2: And tell so you must be writing very carefully now.
- 27:34Speaker 2: It almost puts more pressure on you now that you
- 27:36Speaker 2: know he's watching every week.
- 27:38Speaker 1: You know what man, I promise it's all it's all
- 27:41Speaker 1: the same. But what I'm interested is, you know, at
- 27:44Speaker 1: some point I'm gonna run into him again, and you know,
- 27:47Speaker 1: he's a very opinionated guy, so I would love to
- 27:50Speaker 1: talk jokes with him.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yeah, because like I.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Make jokes about me because I've met Malaney and taking
- 27:55Speaker 1: pictures and stuff like that. So I don't quite feel
- 27:58Speaker 1: the pressure of like, oh I better do well.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I just have this curiosity now.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I want, you know what I mean, I want to
- 28:04Speaker 1: know what the thing is like, what does she seeing him?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Because the truthdays mark And this is what I'm building too.
- 28:09Speaker 1: He didn't just compliment my monologue. He complimented my wife.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And if you keep complimenting my wife, they're going to
- 28:14Speaker 1: invoke the twenty fifth of minute.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I'm concerned. I'm concerned.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Oh, your wife's very good on that show. She's like
- 28:20Speaker 2: the new Joy Philbin.
- 28:24Speaker 4: She's got chopped.
- 28:25Speaker 1: She's a good hang because she grew up on a
- 28:27Speaker 1: dairy farm, and she can take a joke because she
- 28:29Speaker 1: has no self esteem.
- 28:31Speaker 3: You know, she's a great girl.
- 28:32Speaker 1: She grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio and
- 28:35Speaker 1: married a cab driver who was telling jokes and getting
- 28:37Speaker 1: peyd in mozzarella.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Sticks when we met. So she's down for an adventure.
- 28:42Speaker 3: I guess it's the best way to describe it.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Well, it's a great show. It's every Saturday night Fox
- 28:46Speaker 2: News Channel ten o'clock. Best monologue in television, and if
- 28:49Speaker 2: you want to hear the funniest radio show, that's fascinating,
- 28:52Speaker 2: great guests. It's every night here nine to midnight, Tonight
- 28:56Speaker 2: nine to midnight, and every weeknight Jimmy faila great stuff.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us.
- 29:01Speaker 3: You're the best man. I'll see you see it all.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Right, take care. Yeah, make sure you listen to tonight nine
- 29:06Speaker 2: to midnight. And President Trump really did tweet out that
- 29:10Speaker 2: he loves Jimmy Faylo's late night show. It's his favorite monologue. Hey,
- 29:14Speaker 2: we'll wrap things up in just a moment on seven
- 29:17Speaker 2: ten WR.
- 29:19Speaker 1: The Mark Simon Show, delivering the news before it is
- 29:23Speaker 1: on seven ten WR.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Well, so the snowstorm, here's the very latest. Now again,
- 29:32Speaker 2: there's different models. Some show six inches, some show twelve inches.
- 29:37Speaker 2: So there's all these different models. The one that's usually
- 29:39Speaker 2: the most reliable has the storm beginning Saturday night after midnight,
- 29:45Speaker 2: like around one am. Continuing overnight Saturday night, all day Sunday,
- 29:50Speaker 2: and then overnight Sunday night, and then stopping Monday morning.
- 29:53Speaker 2: And again there's different models, but the one that's usually
- 29:56Speaker 2: the most reliable has it at about six to eight inches.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Monday morning rush hour will be an absolute mess, but
- 30:03Speaker 2: Monday's the day for most people that don't go into
- 30:05Speaker 2: the office. But so just bear that in mind. Also
- 30:09Speaker 2: because of that, you're going to see all kinds of
- 30:11Speaker 2: people lined up at supermarkets and all that stuff. So
- 30:17Speaker 2: we'll keep you posted just throughout the weekend. We'll bring
- 30:20Speaker 2: you all the latest down the storm. Hey, we're out
- 30:22Speaker 2: of time. Buck and Clay are next. They do a
- 30:25Speaker 2: great show every day noon to three. Then you got
- 30:27Speaker 2: Sean Hannity at three o'clock, you got Jesse Kelly at six,
- 30:31Speaker 2: you got Jimmy Fala at nine. I'm here every day
- 30:34Speaker 2: ten to noon, or you could listen anytime. You can
- 30:38Speaker 2: listen to this show day or night. Just get the

- 30:43Speaker 2: tomorrow at ten. Thanks for everything, Talk to you tomorrow
