- 0:27Speaker 3: like it's been two weeks.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Like you've been in the roof of it.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Why Ford, I love for I love long weekends, but
- 0:36Speaker 2: the short weeks mess me up.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Are you not messed up?
- 0:39Speaker 2: No?
- 0:39Speaker 4: I mean not for that reason, No, what reason? I
- 0:43Speaker 4: just have issues anyway.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Hey, good morning, thank you for listening to the show.
- 0:49Speaker 2: The good news is tomorrow's Friday, and we're glad you're here.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Call the show. How's your week going? Eight three thirty
- 0:56Speaker 2: five oh one Bama is the number. But good morning,
- 0:59Speaker 2: thank you for waking up with us.
- 1:02Speaker 3: It's what the hell headlines?
- 1:04Speaker 4: What the hell are you talking about?
- 1:06Speaker 1: On the Alabama Show.
- 1:09Speaker 2: A man broke into a store with a chainsaw to
- 1:12Speaker 2: steal twelve thousand dollars worth of Pokemon cards.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Why well was he playing on cutting down? I don't
- 1:18Speaker 4: understand why he needed the chainsaw. Door.
- 1:20Speaker 2: He used the chainsaw to get into the stoor he
- 1:23Speaker 2: saw turn to the door.
- 1:25Speaker 3: A thirty three year old Florida man.
- 1:27Speaker 2: He was arrested after breaking into a store in the
- 1:29Speaker 2: middle of the night using a chainsaw. He stole twelve
- 1:32Speaker 2: thousand dollars worth of Pokemon cards. This Pokemon craze that
- 1:36Speaker 2: it's gotten out of hand. Listen to the owner talk
- 1:39Speaker 2: about it.
- 1:40Speaker 5: He went home or wherever he went. He came back
- 1:42Speaker 5: about an hour and a half with a chainsaw and
- 1:44Speaker 5: just kind of walks like he knew exactly where to
- 1:47Speaker 5: go open the doors, like he knew.
- 1:49Speaker 4: That we didn't have a lock on it.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Unfortunately, the good news is none of the glass was
- 1:53Speaker 5: broken inside of the place, but they did indeed steal
- 1:56Speaker 5: about between ten to fifteen thousand in Pokemon cards. Unfortunately,
- 2:00Speaker 5: we are getting targeted as trading card game stores, kind
- 2:04Speaker 5: of like a jewelry store, because they know we have value.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Can you sell them for more?
- 2:08Speaker 3: Is that why everybody's stealing all the Pokemon stuff?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Yes, my friend has like over one hundred thousand dollars
- 2:13Speaker 4: worth of it.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I said that on the idea it is what it is.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Super easy trivia with the Yella Mama Show.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Eight three three five O one Bama is the number
- 2:24Speaker 2: to call the show and play super Easy Trivia if
- 2:27Speaker 2: you want to win tickets to jelly Roll on Sunday, Andrew,
- 2:30Speaker 2: good morning.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Where are you call them from?
- 2:32Speaker 4: Right now? I'm flying down seventy nine.
- 2:36Speaker 3: You better drive slow.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I see deers running across seventy nine all the time
- 2:40Speaker 2: on my way in.
- 2:41Speaker 4: The kids are Lucky Steals.
- 2:43Speaker 3: There's Lucky Day and say, Oh.
- 2:45Speaker 2: My gosh, Andrew, do you want to play super easy
- 2:50Speaker 2: trivia to win tickets to jelly Roll?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Oh?
- 2:53Speaker 4: Yeah, all right.
- 2:53Speaker 2: We're gonna say, if you're smarter than Producer Blake, use
- 2:56Speaker 2: your name as your buzzer, then say the answer real fast,
- 2:58Speaker 2: so Producer Blake, won't you?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Okay? Whatever?
- 3:02Speaker 2: Question number one? But animal is known as the king
- 3:05Speaker 2: of the jungle.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Andrew, what Producer Blake? Lion?
- 3:10Speaker 6: It is?
- 3:11Speaker 2: The lion lions are, but it's still the king of
- 3:17Speaker 2: the jungle. Have you not seen the lion king in
- 3:20Speaker 2: the jungle? The lion sleeps night.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Okay, we're not arguing this.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Here's the cowboy and toy story. What did it say?
- 3:31Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 3:31Speaker 3: What's the yellow part of an egg?
- 3:33Speaker 4: Called Producer Blake? Yolk? Yellow part of the neck egg?
- 3:38Speaker 3: Say yolk?
- 3:39Speaker 4: Say yolk yoke. Good job Andrew.
- 3:46Speaker 2: The yellow Party.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I thought you've made the yellow part of your neck.
- 3:56Speaker 4: I was like, my aint yellow.
- 3:59Speaker 3: You're going to jail?
- 4:00Speaker 4: I love Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'll say there's three things you need to know you
- 4:04Speaker 1: with the Alabama Show.
- 4:06Speaker 2: There's a new small dog daycare that just opened in Homewood.
- 4:09Speaker 3: If you have a small dog that you're.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Worried about being intermixed with big dogs. It's a boutique
- 4:14Speaker 2: small dog daycare called Top Dog, designed specifically to provide safe,
- 4:19Speaker 2: open play for your pooch. It's on Crescent Avenue, so
- 4:24Speaker 2: if you have a small dog and that's where you
- 4:26Speaker 2: want to take them, that's in Homewood. Dolly Parton is
- 4:30Speaker 2: going after BUCkies now. She's launching our flagship travel center
- 4:33Speaker 2: June twenty fourth in Cornersville, Tennessee, making a roadside destination
- 4:37Speaker 2: that could rival BUCkies. She's going to have barbecue, Dolly's
- 4:40Speaker 2: Cup of Ambition coffee, a full service restaurant with gas
- 4:44Speaker 2: and merchandise. There's also going to be a tour bus
- 4:47Speaker 2: installation inspired by Dolly's touring years, so you drive through
- 4:51Speaker 2: there stop by Dolly's new gas station.
- 4:53Speaker 3: In June, it'll be open.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Matthew Perry's former assistant got three years yesterday for the
- 4:59Speaker 2: fatal ketamine injections.
- 5:01Speaker 3: You know who Matthew Perry is, right from friends?
- 5:03Speaker 4: Yes? Yes, yes, yes so.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Kenneth the assistant got a three year, five month federal
- 5:08Speaker 2: prison sentence yesterday for administ he gave the fatal ketamine
- 5:13Speaker 2: injections to Matthew Perry. He also has to pay a
- 5:17Speaker 2: ten thousand dollars fine and surrender by July seventeenth. Perry's
- 5:20Speaker 2: sister wanted a harsher sentence. Perry, if you remember, passed
- 5:24Speaker 2: away in October of twenty twenty three to an accidental
- 5:27Speaker 2: ketamine overdose in his hot tub, and his assistant pleaded
- 5:30Speaker 2: guilty in August of twenty twenty four to conspiracy to
- 5:34Speaker 2: distribute kenyamine that he repeatedly injected Perry and had absolutely
- 5:39Speaker 2: no medical training, which is just a sad situation overall.
- 5:42Speaker 7: I think it's a wild story just in general. That's
- 5:46Speaker 7: a why would you do that?
- 5:47Speaker 3: It is a crazy thing.

- 6:05Speaker 2: By the way, thank you for listening to the Alabama show.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I'm Alabama with producer Blake Meet. We often talk about
- 6:11Speaker 2: me mom, my sassy grandmother. We call her on the show.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Sometimes she raised me. She's like essentially my mom.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Yes, correct me.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Moll freaking forgot my birthday. It's not funny.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I just drove her to a doctor's appointment and was
- 6:28Speaker 2: literally talking about my birthday. And so this weekend I
- 6:31Speaker 2: call her on my birthday because normally she wakes up
- 6:35Speaker 2: and calls me and says happy birthday and gets me
- 6:38Speaker 2: a really thoughtful kitch. We talk for like ten fifteen minutes,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and finally I said, Hannah, my little cousin sent me a.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Really nice birthday text. Yeah and me and also, boy,
- 6:49Speaker 3: your birthday's not until tomorrow. I went, no, it's today, me, Mom,
- 6:54Speaker 3: it's today. She has none of your birthdays on the
- 6:56Speaker 3: twenty fifth.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I went, no, what's on the You've known it's the
- 6:59Speaker 2: twenty four for the past.
- 7:01Speaker 3: This many years of my life.
- 7:02Speaker 4: What oh?
- 7:04Speaker 3: I forgot?
- 7:05Speaker 2: I even told my sister to text you tomorrow until
- 7:08Speaker 2: you happy. She told the whole family the wrong day too, and.
- 7:12Speaker 4: They all believed her.
- 7:13Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, look, you know what Every year she gives
- 7:18Speaker 6: me something really thoughtful for my birthday, like something small
- 7:22Speaker 6: that I need for the house, like a kitchen time
- 7:25Speaker 6: or whatever.
- 7:25Speaker 4: You know she got me this year? What a card?
- 7:29Speaker 7: Look it's me Maw's mew she look she's getting older.
- 7:35Speaker 4: She's trying to remember just you. In general.
- 7:38Speaker 2: She's been staying with hannap baby, sitting there, baby cooking
- 7:41Speaker 2: the dinner, doing their laundry. You know, his birthday, she
- 7:44Speaker 2: does no memorized off the top of her head.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Hannah's baby daddy. He's the golden child and not even
- 7:50Speaker 3: related to her.
- 7:51Speaker 4: She had to replace somebody.
- 7:52Speaker 7: It's like the Indiana Jones scen where they're replaced.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Well, baby daddy can take her to her future doctor's appointments.
- 7:59Speaker 4: What that's a discussion for another time. Right now, you
- 8:02Speaker 4: need to focus on that. You should wait a day
- 8:05Speaker 4: after her birthday to call her.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Feel Neglam did like what.
- 8:11Speaker 2: She's supposed to be like my mom, Well she got
- 8:14Speaker 2: my birthday.
- 8:15Speaker 7: At least she cares about you. That's what you should
- 8:17Speaker 7: be thinking man me moll loves me. Fine, you gotta
- 8:23Speaker 7: be more fantastic.
- 8:25Speaker 4: No, Okay?
- 8:26Speaker 3: Eight three three five O one BAMA is the number.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Has anybody in your family ever forgotten your birthday?

- 9:03Speaker 2: auditioned to be on The Morning Show. That's the Show
- 9:05Speaker 2: on Apple with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, and he
- 9:08Speaker 2: was waiting in the green room and he said he
- 9:10Speaker 2: could hear the other actors auditioning and crushing it, and
- 9:13Speaker 2: then when he went in he decided to go off script,
- 9:16Speaker 2: but then his mind went blank, and so he said
- 9:18Speaker 2: it was the most awkward audition ever and he didn't.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Know what to do.
- 9:21Speaker 2: You can hear that whole story on the new podcast
- 9:25Speaker 2: Hey Jonas with the Jonas Brothers on our free iHeartRadio app.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Here's the things not to take well. Things you need
- 9:32Speaker 3: to unplug at your house before we go on a trip.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Okay, so Blake, if you plan on going out of town,
- 9:38Speaker 2: which I know you are in a month, this could
- 9:42Speaker 2: help lower your energy bill and also reduce a fire risk.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Unplug your battery chargers okay, space heaters, right, countertop appliances
- 9:51Speaker 2: like your coffee maker and miwave microwaves, hair styling tools,

- 10:05Speaker 2: My OCD has hit, and I'll leave the house and
- 10:08Speaker 2: if I can't remember if I've unplugged my curling iron,
- 10:10Speaker 2: I will.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Turn around and go back to make sure. And most
- 10:12Speaker 3: of the time it's unplugged.

- 12:06Speaker 7: We went to an escape room this weekend, me and
- 12:08Speaker 7: a few of my friends, and I will say I
- 12:13Speaker 7: did not know as much as I thought I was.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I did go by this sounds on par well.
- 12:19Speaker 4: One of the things confused me.
- 12:20Speaker 7: And let's just say I got a bunch of numbers wrong.
- 12:24Speaker 4: And if you've ever been to an escape.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Room, it's where you're pitting room and you have to
- 12:28Speaker 2: find clues to figure out how to get out of
- 12:30Speaker 2: the room, right, correct, Okay, and you have to make
- 12:33Speaker 2: deals with the camera.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Guy to get numbers.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Did you mess up?
- 12:37Speaker 7: I just forgot to count certain things to get a
- 12:40Speaker 7: code for a box. So I lost ten minutes doing that,
- 12:44Speaker 7: and you only get an hour to do this. Then
- 12:47Speaker 7: I started writing down these numbers off of a wall
- 12:49Speaker 7: trying to get another code.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I forgot numbers on that, so it took us. I
- 12:54Speaker 4: wasted thirty minutes of our time.
- 12:56Speaker 3: What your friends say?
- 12:57Speaker 4: They said, can you get any of these numbers correct?
- 13:01Speaker 7: Because the camera guy had to keep telling us how
- 13:03Speaker 7: to do it, and they are very They didn't want
- 13:06Speaker 7: to use the hints. They were very stingy with the
- 13:08Speaker 7: hints my friends were, And I said, guys.
- 13:10Speaker 4: We need the hints, we need the hints. They didn't
- 13:13Speaker 4: want to do it, so I kept doing it and going,
- 13:15Speaker 4: I can figure it out. Let me have five minutes,
- 13:18Speaker 4: and it took you thirty, took me thirty, and I
- 13:20Speaker 4: didn't get a single one correct.
- 13:22Speaker 3: So what did your friends said?
- 13:23Speaker 2: Did They didn't they tell you you can't come to
- 13:25Speaker 2: an escape room with them anymore.
- 13:26Speaker 7: They said, I'm on time out for the time out
- 13:30Speaker 7: for now on escape rooms with them.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I feel like you're making this way more mild than
- 13:35Speaker 2: it really was. I've learned with you that, and I
- 13:38Speaker 2: don't know the right questions to ask but the more
- 13:41Speaker 2: I ask, the more I find out if something terrible
- 13:43Speaker 2: that you do, Like did you get a fight with anybody?
- 13:46Speaker 4: Uh?
- 13:46Speaker 7: One of my friends stormed out whatever we got done,
- 13:49Speaker 7: and I haven't talked to him since.
- 13:53Speaker 3: By day's storm out. What did you get angry? I
- 13:56Speaker 3: have seen you when you're frustrated. Did you start yelling
- 13:58Speaker 3: at people?
- 13:59Speaker 6: No?
- 13:59Speaker 7: I just want to over to a literal corner and
- 14:01Speaker 7: seat there until they got more spicy.
- 14:03Speaker 4: You just sat and went, y'all do it, y'all.
- 14:06Speaker 7: They got mad at me. I said, you know what,
- 14:07Speaker 7: I'll want to sit over here and get out of
- 14:09Speaker 7: y'all's way. They got more upset with me because I
- 14:11Speaker 7: didn't help them.
- 14:12Speaker 3: George, So you pitched a full toddler fit.
- 14:14Speaker 7: No, I literally did in the corner. No, I said,
- 14:17Speaker 7: They said, leave me alone so I can do this.
- 14:19Speaker 7: I said it's okay, and I walked over.
- 14:21Speaker 3: There is your friend's number.
- 14:23Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm not going to do that.
