- 0:08Speaker 1: Nice to be with you on a Friday morning. Let's
- 0:11Speaker 1: go to our busy phones A man with class because
- 0:13Speaker 1: I love his first name. Kenneth in the Bronx.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Good morning, Hey, good morning Mark, good morning.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Can't you could call me? Can't you can call me
- 0:21Speaker 1: Mark all you want? I take that with honor Kenneth,
- 0:23Speaker 1: So I.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Know, good morning. No, you guys. I listened to you
- 0:26Speaker 2: guys all the time. You and I I used to
- 0:28Speaker 2: listen to seventy seven. Not to discredit them, but you guys.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I'll love listening to your whole staff from credits in
- 0:33Speaker 2: the morning to you guys, to you name it and
- 0:36Speaker 2: we know what Mark I mean? Can I want them
- 0:38Speaker 2: sor I apologize and I want to say listen. If
- 0:41Speaker 2: it wasn't for Trump, I talked to my friends about that.
- 0:43Speaker 2: It wasn't for Trump, we had Kawala Harris and Tim
- 0:46Speaker 2: Walris in the White House, Ken, can you imagine what
- 0:49Speaker 2: we would be going through?
- 0:51Speaker 1: We would learn, we would learn how to do jazz
- 0:53Speaker 1: hands from Tim Walras, That's for sure. He is such
- 0:57Speaker 1: a character. You look at you, look at Tim Watson,
- 0:59Speaker 1: you think, how the heck did the people in Wisconsin
- 1:02Speaker 1: ever vote for this man?
- 1:03Speaker 2: It's and I'm so confused. This would be right now,
- 1:08Speaker 2: right now, with trumbing office, right now, listen, this country.
- 1:11Speaker 2: This would be the purge I here, right now, I
- 1:13Speaker 2: wanna say in New York. I'm gonna try to talk
- 1:14Speaker 2: briefly because I knew here for other cause. But the
- 1:17Speaker 2: thing too is Bruce Blakeman. This is the purge out here,
- 1:22Speaker 2: you know, and we definitely need him so he can
- 1:25Speaker 2: rescind those four molds bail catching. That's what this catching
- 1:29Speaker 2: re leaves. Bill reform, that's what destroyed New York. The
- 1:33Speaker 2: only way we can get New York back, we need
- 1:36Speaker 2: Blateman in here. We got you and I'm and Ken.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Lastly too, I'm gonna ask you what can I do
- 1:42Speaker 2: me and other friends we have here. I'm tired of enforcement?
- 1:46Speaker 2: What could we do to How can I say to
- 1:52Speaker 2: divvy up to get vote for this guy here? What
- 1:56Speaker 2: can we do with the way I can a number
- 1:58Speaker 2: I can contact or someone I can all jumping bandwagon,
- 2:01Speaker 2: me some other friends we need we need Blakeman.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Well, I agree with you and I think the best
- 2:06Speaker 1: way to do it, honestly, Kenneth, is to just tell
- 2:08Speaker 1: your friends about it. Every time you are at a gathering,
- 2:11Speaker 1: people tend to bite their tongue.
- 2:13Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:13Speaker 1: The spouse always says, stunt, get into politics. No, I
- 2:16Speaker 1: think we got to get into politics. Do you notice, Kenneth,
- 2:19Speaker 1: Liberals never have a problem voicing their opinion at a gathering.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Do you know what? Right?
- 2:25Speaker 1: They always assumed that, well, if you're intelligent, you have
- 2:27Speaker 1: to think this way. I especially love the fact that
- 2:30Speaker 1: people knew that I was a TV news anchor for
- 2:32Speaker 1: all the years I was at Channel seven and Channel five,
- 2:35Speaker 1: so they assumed that we're all leftists. And and so
- 2:39Speaker 1: I've been to a million gatherings and I stand there
- 2:41Speaker 1: and smile, and they're like, these stupid Republicans, and they
- 2:45Speaker 1: just think they're so superior and condescending. Little do they know.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I would just stand there because as a former news
- 2:50Speaker 1: anchor then I couldn't share my opinions. But the arrogance
- 2:54Speaker 1: and condescension, it was just unreal. And and so I'm
- 2:58Speaker 1: with you. I think the best way is just lightly
- 3:00Speaker 1: and respectfully share your opinion without coming across in a
- 3:04Speaker 1: condescending way and maybe it'll make them think at the
- 3:07Speaker 1: very least. But I appreciate your thoughts and I appreciate
- 3:10Speaker 1: your call and thank you for being in law enforcement, sir.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Okay, thanks Ken slash military retired God so much and
- 3:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna say it too briefly. Can let you go?
- 3:20Speaker 2: I know a hope will do it. She wants to read.
- 3:22Speaker 2: She wants these aliens. She want to give them a
- 3:24Speaker 2: OTC card and with tend the Miranda right before before
- 3:27Speaker 2: the ice takes them. That's what she wants. So yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 2: what she wants. But Ken, I just want to threat
- 3:31Speaker 2: me right quick, but can't listen. God bless you guys
- 3:33Speaker 2: in seventy one. You guys are the best, and we
- 3:37Speaker 2: thank you again.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Kenneth. Have a great day and
- 3:40Speaker 1: a nice weekend. We appreciate you. Let's go to George
- 3:43Speaker 1: out and Port jeff beautiful, poor Jefferson on Long Island,
- 3:46Speaker 1: Suffolk count Don't tell people.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Don't tell people, it's lousy. I don't.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I used to live in Selden. I used to live
- 3:53Speaker 1: five minutes away from you and or as we used
- 3:55Speaker 1: to call it, and you make an armpit sound Seldon.
- 3:58Speaker 1: That's that's where I used to live. But I enjoyed it.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I lived in Garden City for forty years and I
- 4:04Speaker 3: came out here to retire. It's great anyway. I'm a
- 4:07Speaker 3: retired court clerk for many many years, and I want
- 4:10Speaker 3: to make a comment about Mangioi and his sicker fan friends.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Many many years ago. I was a court clerk in
- 4:15Speaker 3: Queens and criminal around nineteen seventy six seventies. I don't
- 4:19Speaker 3: remember exactly when they arrested son of Sam. He had
- 4:24Speaker 3: cases in Queens where he shot a couple of people
- 4:26Speaker 3: in Queens and we were going to arraign him and
- 4:29Speaker 3: I was gonna be the one of I don't know,
- 4:31Speaker 3: being lucky or not lucky because the crowds. We were
- 4:33Speaker 3: going to arraign him and stuffed in boulevard at the
- 4:36Speaker 3: Jamaica Courthouse, but there were so many people coming there.
- 4:40Speaker 3: We moved him to the regular criminal court building in
- 4:43Speaker 3: the Queens Boulevard, and you know I had to go
- 4:47Speaker 3: there with the judge. This is a funny part of
- 4:49Speaker 3: the story. He's passed away now, Judge Arthur Lawnshein. He
- 4:53Speaker 3: was a tough guy. World War two vintage and he's
- 4:55Speaker 3: reading the report and he's not left. He smiled, and
- 4:59Speaker 3: he goes, Oh, at least something's coming to go out
- 5:03Speaker 3: of this, Like, oh, what's that, judge, I read the report.
- 5:05Speaker 3: A lot of people hate us. He was Jewish, but
- 5:09Speaker 3: he reads that sother said was adopted. He was really Italian.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I don't know if you're gonna get a laugh.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Out of that.
- 5:13Speaker 3: But anyway, we go to we go over to Sufton
- 5:17Speaker 3: Boulevard and it was a madhouse. You know, there were
- 5:20Speaker 3: other men outside. The only difference was there were people
- 5:24Speaker 3: with the signs hang him, kill him.
- 5:26Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:26Speaker 3: It was the whole Summer of sam thing. It really
- 5:29Speaker 3: destroyed the city. I don't know how old you are.
- 5:31Speaker 1: If I'm almost sixty, I remember it unfortunately all too well.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm in my seventies. But anyway, but there were girls.
- 5:38Speaker 3: There were ladies there, you know, yelling and screaming we
- 5:43Speaker 3: love you, and and they were throwing papers with their
- 5:46Speaker 3: phone number on.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It isn't the crazy.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I don't get it. I mean, I'm somewhat educated. I'm
- 5:52Speaker 3: not a psychologist. I don't get it. I have daughters.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I'll tell you what it is. Girl.
- 5:58Speaker 1: A lot of women. They like the bad boy, the
- 6:01Speaker 1: you know, they like that person. There's something about being
- 6:04Speaker 1: close to danger yet the person, like a Luigi or
- 6:08Speaker 1: like a Son of Sam, they had that look that
- 6:10Speaker 1: almost looks nice and tall, like you could talk to
- 6:13Speaker 1: the person. They're murderers. They're cold blooded murderers, allegedly because
- 6:18Speaker 1: one still has to have their day in court. But
- 6:20Speaker 1: these people, listen, they killed, in the case of Son
- 6:23Speaker 1: of Sam, multiple people brutally. So yeah, I don't get
- 6:29Speaker 1: it either, but it's like for the moment of being
- 6:31Speaker 1: smitten by the individual, like change your mind, wake up,
- 6:35Speaker 1: go have a cup of coffee, and realize these people
- 6:37Speaker 1: killed human beings who did not deserve Even if they
- 6:40Speaker 1: did deserve to die, they didn't deserve to die. You
- 6:42Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, So what are you doing? I'm
- 6:45Speaker 1: with you one hundred percent. I appreciate the phone call.
