- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome to jag Zam this morning on tenhani seasons. Brian
- 0:19Speaker 1: Sexton John Osier with me.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's week four.
- 0:21Speaker 1: The Jaguars are two and one and they're heading out
- 0:23Speaker 1: on the road to San Francisco this week to take
- 0:25Speaker 1: on the.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Three and forty nine ers.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Let's go over some of our big things for you,
- 0:28Speaker 1: brought to you by de EHJA Government Employees Health Association.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Big Thing number one is dropped the ball. The Jaguars
- 0:34Speaker 1: got the win last week against their division rival Detections,
- 0:38Speaker 1: but they dropped the ball quite a few times in
- 0:40Speaker 1: that matchup.
- 0:41Speaker 3: That's something we've seen an issue with throughout the first
- 0:44Speaker 3: couple of games. Brian, how do they fix this?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Is it just getting some extra reps of the judge
- 0:48Speaker 1: machine or what?
- 0:49Speaker 4: It's a mental thing.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Listen, you don't go from Friday playing high school bawl
- 0:53Speaker 5: to Saturday playing college ball to Sunday playing Pro Bowl
- 0:56Speaker 5: by just being able to catch the ball.
- 0:58Speaker 4: You're darn good at it.
- 1:00Speaker 5: The reasons why right now nobody has laid out, so.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I'll just say it. It's not a physical thing. It's
- 1:05Speaker 4: a mental thing.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Somehow, someway, they've got to connect the hands and the
- 1:09Speaker 5: brain back together. This is something all of these guys
- 1:13Speaker 5: not only do, but they do very very well. Otherwise
- 1:15Speaker 5: they wouldn't be playing on Sunday. The coach's job this
- 1:19Speaker 5: week is to reconnect the hands to the brain.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22Speaker 6: I loved when Liam was asked about this on Monday
- 1:25Speaker 6: and he kind of smiled. Every coach I've evercovered has
- 1:29Speaker 6: always been asked about drive passes. They tried to give answers,
- 1:33Speaker 6: and really, the realities, you don't know. Consentration has to
- 1:36Speaker 6: go up sometimes a circumstance, and sometimes you just have
- 1:39Speaker 6: to catch the leaping ball. And that's really where you're
- 1:42Speaker 6: at right now. They got to catch the ball, and
- 1:46Speaker 6: the problem is, right now it's holding so much back.
- 1:50Speaker 6: They could be so much more efficient offensively when they
- 1:53Speaker 6: do it. I think they will do it, but they
- 1:54Speaker 6: have to do it.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Leep. Yeah, I think that's fair enough to say.
- 1:57Speaker 1: We're gonna move on to a second big thing, which
- 1:59Speaker 1: is the dec The defense has been dominant so far
- 2:02Speaker 1: for the Jags. Through these first couple of matchups. They've
- 2:04Speaker 1: already gotten to their.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Takeaway total of all of last year.
- 2:08Speaker 1: They've gotten more interceptions than we saw last season. John,
- 2:11Speaker 1: is this just a case of defense does well early
- 2:14Speaker 1: in the season or is this something we can expect.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Throughout the year.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Well, they're catching the ball.
- 2:18Speaker 3: So they have that figured out receivers.
- 2:22Speaker 6: You know, it's been three a game. Three a game
- 2:24Speaker 6: translates out to fifty one, and that's up there with
- 2:27Speaker 6: all time, So I don't think it's going to happen
- 2:29Speaker 6: like this all season. But I do think the way
- 2:32Speaker 6: they play, they're getting leads, they've only trailed eighteen seconds.
- 2:38Speaker 6: That helps you get turnover. The other team's under pressure,
- 2:41Speaker 6: and they're playing a style that enables them to look
- 2:43Speaker 6: at the ball and see it, which also helps turnovers.
- 2:46Speaker 6: So I expect them, Brian, to be a very good
- 2:50Speaker 6: turnover creating team. The pace will slow because it always
- 2:53Speaker 6: does off this sort of start, but I think it's
- 2:56Speaker 6: who they are.
- 2:57Speaker 5: You know, last year, guy, the defense was historically bad,
- 3:02Speaker 5: and to hear you say the defense has been dominant
- 3:04Speaker 5: the first three weeks, it almost rings strange to me
- 3:07Speaker 5: because we talked about how bad they were last year.
- 3:10Speaker 5: But one of the reasons why it was so frustrated
- 3:12Speaker 5: was because there was some talent over there. We knew
- 3:14Speaker 5: there were guys that were capable of making plays Andrew
- 3:16Speaker 5: Anthony Campanili, bring the scheme together, ask guys to do
- 3:20Speaker 5: things that they know how to do and do very well,
- 3:22Speaker 5: and all of those puzzle pieces fit together. And when
- 3:25Speaker 5: they do, what do you get? Or you get production,
- 3:27Speaker 5: you get takeaways. You put yourself in a situation where
- 3:31Speaker 5: you can have success. I mentioned the other day, I
- 3:33Speaker 5: think this team has a chance to be the fourth
- 3:35Speaker 5: Jaguars defense in franchise history with at least thirty takeaways
- 3:39Speaker 5: in the season. It helps when you get nine in
- 3:41Speaker 5: the first three games. John's right. The pace will obviously slow,
- 3:44Speaker 5: but it's been a consistent part of who they are
- 3:46Speaker 5: the first three weeks, So even if they're just getting
- 3:48Speaker 5: one a game or two, it puts them in a
- 3:50Speaker 5: position to be among the better defenses we've seen in Jacksonville.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Certainly have a good head start on that for sure.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Our final big thing today is going to be on
- 3:58Speaker 1: the road. They're having out on the road the West Coast,
- 4:00Speaker 1: which has been a challenge for this team. I looked
- 4:03Speaker 1: up the records they're owing to at San Francisco, four
- 4:06Speaker 1: and eleven in the state of California.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Brian, what is it going to take to get a win.
- 4:10Speaker 5: On their red Three of those wins obviously came in Oakland,
- 4:13Speaker 5: including the last win they had in the Bay Area
- 4:17Speaker 5: in twenty nineteen. What's it going to take takeaways? You're
- 4:20Speaker 5: gonna have to create extra possessions. These aren't the Niners
- 4:23Speaker 5: that were here two years ago. John, There's only two
- 4:25Speaker 5: guys on the defense now that Nick Bosa is injured.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Two guys who are part of that defense. But you
- 4:30Speaker 5: have Robert Sama, and he's an excellent defensive mind, so
- 4:33Speaker 5: that group will be ready to play. You got to
- 4:36Speaker 5: catch the ball, you got to create takeaways, and you've
- 4:38Speaker 5: got to take advantage of opportunities in the red zone.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Yeah, you have to stop the run too. They're a
- 4:43Speaker 6: very good team when they get up on you and
- 4:46Speaker 6: they get into their style and their rhythm. They know
- 4:49Speaker 6: how they want to play, and once they start doing it,
- 4:51Speaker 6: they're hard to get out a rhythm. And now the
- 4:54Speaker 6: quarterback has to play well. I mean in this game,
- 4:58Speaker 6: I don't know if you can overcome.
- 5:02Speaker 4: You can have a turnover, but.
- 5:04Speaker 6: It can't be a backbreaker. It can't be one where
- 5:08Speaker 6: they're going in. It can't be in the red zone.
- 5:11Speaker 6: He has to play well and keep the waters calm
- 5:15Speaker 6: throughout the game. If it gets messy, they're a really
- 5:18Speaker 6: hard team to come back.
- 5:19Speaker 4: On, you know.
- 5:19Speaker 5: K It also bears mentioned the Dutch. Time the Jaguars
- 5:21Speaker 5: played in San Francisco was twenty seventeen, and they were
- 5:25Speaker 5: a really good team that year. And the Niners were
- 5:28Speaker 5: in the first year of Shanahan as the head coach,
- 5:32Speaker 5: and they had just traded for Jimmy Garoppolo with the
- 5:34Speaker 5: team you used to cover, and it was Garoppolo's first start.
- 5:38Speaker 4: In Shanahan's offense.
- 5:39Speaker 5: And I mean, they just took a part at the
- 5:41Speaker 5: best Jaguars defense in franchise history and won forty four
- 5:43Speaker 5: to thirty three. It's because Shanahan is an excellent offensive coach.
- 5:47Speaker 5: He puts together a great game plan. So it's gonna
- 5:49Speaker 5: challenge Liam Cohen and his entire staff because I think
- 5:53Speaker 5: Shanahan's got one of the better coaching staffs in recent memory.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Certainly a tough place to play. Stay with us here
- 5:59Speaker 1: on Jagszam. Coming up after the break. We'll do a
- 6:00Speaker 1: little this or that as we look ahead to that matchup.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Jag Zam brought to you by Field's Auto Groups. See
- 6:12Speaker 1: Fields First Jacksonville's premier luxury auto group. You can head
- 6:15Speaker 1: over to Shields Auto dot com this this.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Schools, welcome back into jag Zam.
- 6:25Speaker 1: This morning, we're gonna do a little this or that
- 6:27Speaker 1: as we look ahead to week four. We talked a
- 6:30Speaker 1: little bit about the drops that was seen from the
- 6:32Speaker 1: wide receiver groups beyond the Brown Brian Thomas Junior Parker
- 6:35Speaker 1: washtill a little bit in.
- 6:36Speaker 3: The last game.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So my thought here is Brenton Stranger most reliable target
- 6:41Speaker 1: at this point.
- 6:42Speaker 5: He is no doubt dependable, tough, the guy that when
- 6:46Speaker 5: you throw the ball, you know ninety percent.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Of the time he's gonna pull it in.
- 6:49Speaker 6: He's uh to me, Brenton Strange. There's four uber frontline
- 6:54Speaker 6: players on this team, Trayvon Walker, Josh Heinz Allen, Jordan Lewis,
- 6:57Speaker 6: and Bretton Strange. He's one of the of the core
- 7:00Speaker 6: players in this team right now.
- 7:01Speaker 4: It's high praise too.
- 7:02Speaker 5: I mean you're talking about the tight end position and
- 7:04Speaker 5: there's so many gifted receiving tight ends in this game.
- 7:08Speaker 5: I'm not sure how many guys fit his category. John
- 7:11Speaker 5: which is the complete title.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, he'll never I shouldn't say never.
- 7:15Speaker 6: I don't know if he'll ever be acknowledged in a
- 7:19Speaker 6: Dorito's commercial like George Kittle or whatever Kill's commercial is,
- 7:24Speaker 6: because he's such a great blocker, and I don't know
- 7:27Speaker 6: that he's going to be a mega star receiver, but
- 7:31Speaker 6: he's a good receiver and he might be at all
- 7:35Speaker 6: the tight ends. He's the guy who could have played
- 7:38Speaker 6: in the sixties in Ben Ditka so too.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Is there a way to include him more in the
- 7:43Speaker 3: offensive game plan?
- 7:44Speaker 1: I know there's a lot of people you want to
- 7:46Speaker 1: get involved and get going, but when you have someone
- 7:48Speaker 1: sure handed as him, is there a way to get
- 7:49Speaker 1: involved more?
- 7:50Speaker 6: Yeah? I mean, I don't know if you want to
- 7:54Speaker 6: gear the offense to getting him enough targets to get
- 7:56Speaker 6: to one hundred and twenty yards. And again it's not
- 7:59Speaker 6: an knock on him, but if you gear everything toward him,
- 8:04Speaker 6: then you're shrinking the field a little bit, probably because
- 8:06Speaker 6: he's he's probably not the thirty five yard downfield, beat
- 8:10Speaker 6: the cornerback, and stretch the defense guy.
- 8:12Speaker 4: But you can get him a little more involved.
- 8:13Speaker 5: And listen, if these guys, if Brian then Parker, if
- 8:16Speaker 5: they don't catch the ball, the amy don't catch the ball.
- 8:18Speaker 5: He's going to be involved by default because that's going
- 8:20Speaker 5: to be the one guy that the.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Quarterback is going to know, I get it there, he's
- 8:23Speaker 4: going to catch it.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Also, at this stage of the season, you've got to
- 8:29Speaker 6: keep feeding BTJ, Parker, Washington these guys because you know
- 8:33Speaker 6: what you want the offense to be. And in Week
- 8:36Speaker 6: four you can't just say, well, we're not there in
- 8:38Speaker 6: the receivers anymore. We're going to be a running and
- 8:41Speaker 6: tight end team. I mentioned Ditke, it's not his league anymore.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Looking at Travis Hunter, we've seen him increase in snaps
- 8:48Speaker 1: every week. That's kind of gone along on both sides
- 8:50Speaker 1: of the football. But is there a way to get
- 8:53Speaker 1: him more involved in the offense at this point as well?
- 8:56Speaker 3: Or is he still learning that playbook? Is this something
- 8:58Speaker 3: we might see down the road.
- 9:00Speaker 6: I think they're gonna work to get him more involved
- 9:02Speaker 6: because I think like they have to. Because we saw
- 9:05Speaker 6: the play the other day, Brian the short pass one
- 9:09Speaker 6: yard game. I included it in my key plays because
- 9:13Speaker 6: it got him a field goal. Without that first down,
- 9:16Speaker 6: they don't get that drive, and in that game, field
- 9:18Speaker 6: goals are important. Nobody else on the on the roster
- 9:22Speaker 6: can do what he did twice on that play. I don't.
- 9:26Speaker 6: I think they're gonna have to work to do it
- 9:28Speaker 6: because I don't know that this year he is going
- 9:31Speaker 6: to be a top level route runner beat a guy
- 9:35Speaker 6: eighteen yards downfield on a on a great route yet,
- 9:39Speaker 6: but you have to figure out a way to have
- 9:41Speaker 6: his hands on the ball.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Well, and listen, the offensive playbook is you know, inches thick.
- 9:46Speaker 5: It changes so much when you're looking at left corner
- 9:49Speaker 5: or nickelback or wherever they play him on defense. You know,
- 9:51Speaker 5: it's a half a bach. I mean, it doesn't change.
- 9:53Speaker 5: So he's having to learn so much on the offensive side.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Yeah, here's the one thing.
- 9:59Speaker 5: You know, if the Omi Brown shoulder is going to
- 10:01Speaker 5: be a nagging problem, you have no choice.
- 10:04Speaker 4: And we don't know that yet. We'll find out later today.
- 10:06Speaker 4: You know where he is on the injury board and
- 10:08Speaker 4: if he's able to go and play.
- 10:09Speaker 5: But if the MBI can't play or is going to
- 10:11Speaker 5: be limited at all, twelve is going to have to
- 10:14Speaker 5: step out there and do more.
- 10:15Speaker 6: Yeah. And I haven't beaten the drum for Travis Hunter
- 10:18Speaker 6: a whole lot because I still want to see how
- 10:21Speaker 6: it develops. But I've gotten some emails this week from
- 10:24Speaker 6: people saying, you know, he's been a disappointment, hasn't produced.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Look on offense, he's still getting going. He's a high
- 10:31Speaker 6: end cornerback already. Yes, he I mean, and there's no
- 10:35Speaker 6: doubt in my mind. I don't know what offense will
- 10:38Speaker 6: look like for him over a ten year period. I
- 10:40Speaker 6: know what defense is going to look like. It's going
- 10:42Speaker 6: to look like an All Pro player.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Makes Steven more frustrating with that PI penalty against the
- 10:45Speaker 1: Bengals because that could have been a calling card moment,
- 10:48Speaker 1: you know, ends the game and shows what he's been
- 10:50Speaker 1: on defense that we've seen as well. And Trebis let's
- 10:53Speaker 1: look at the defense a little bit. Jordan Lewis tremendous.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Can't say enough good.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Things about him, leader on and off the field. Is
- 10:59Speaker 3: he the best free addition? Is he up there with
- 11:01Speaker 3: the best free agent editions this franchise have had?
- 11:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean number one is clearly Kalais Campbell from
- 11:06Speaker 5: two thousand and what usually be coming in seventeen seventeen. Yeah,
- 11:11Speaker 5: for SACS in his first game, fourteen and a half
- 11:13Speaker 5: is a single season franchise record in that season and
- 11:17Speaker 5: of course he gave you, you know.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Three really good years. He was an All Pro player.
- 11:21Speaker 5: If he approaches the single season record for interceptions, which
- 11:25Speaker 5: is eight, held by Rasheen Mappis, then you could talk
- 11:28Speaker 5: about him in the same category. That's a high bard
- 11:31Speaker 5: hit though eight interceptions is a lot.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Yeah, and I think he's gonna be in the group.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Keenan McCardell was a free agent, Yeah, but Leon seous
- 11:40Speaker 6: he was a free agent. Kalais Campbell was a free agent.
- 11:44Speaker 6: I would put those guys and I'm probably even somebody
- 11:46Speaker 6: out because I wasn't here during the ten years or
- 11:49Speaker 6: I wasn't here. But Jordan Lewis in terms of reshaping
- 11:54Speaker 6: a position group and even a defense and being an
- 11:59Speaker 6: immediate leader, that's where he's on a par with kalaias
- 12:04Speaker 6: they already had leaders in the nine he's been Keenan
- 12:06Speaker 6: and and Leon got here.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Jordan Lewis has.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Unbelievably, to an unbelievable degree, become a leader and a
- 12:16Speaker 6: identity guy on this team.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Listen, he gives him the opportunity because of his attitude
- 12:22Speaker 5: and the leadership that he has to be one of
- 12:24Speaker 5: those teams with thirty more takeaways right ninety nine, two
- 12:27Speaker 5: thousand and seven, twenty seventeen. If they hit that plateau,
- 12:31Speaker 5: then they go into one of the better defenses this
- 12:33Speaker 5: franchise has ever had. And I think it's his attitude
- 12:37Speaker 5: and his leadership where he said to these guys in
- 12:39Speaker 5: training camp, Kai, I don't care what happened last year.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Were better than that, and we're going to be that
- 12:44Speaker 4: way on the field.
- 12:44Speaker 6: And by the way, all the guys I mentioned, I
- 12:47Speaker 6: would put maybe not in the pride, but in the
- 12:51Speaker 6: group of great players in this franchise history, great teammates. These
- 12:54Speaker 6: guys would all those guys would love to play with
- 12:56Speaker 6: Jordan Lewis.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Oh. Absolutely, stay with us here on Jagsam.
- 13:00Speaker 1: After the break, we'll go over some of the headlines
- 13:02Speaker 1: around the NFL. For twelve years, Dreamfinders Homes have been
- 13:14Speaker 1: proud to call themselves the official home builder of the
- 13:16Speaker 1: Jacksonville Jaguars. Is a Dreamfinders dot com to find all
- 13:19Speaker 1: of the available.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Inventory and go Jags. Welcome back into jags Am. We're
- 13:26Speaker 3: looking ahead to this matchup in Week four in San Francisco.
- 13:30Speaker 3: A lot of injuries for the forty nine ers.
- 13:32Speaker 1: That'll probably be some of them will game time decisions,
- 13:34Speaker 1: what they do with the quarterback whatnot. But we do
- 13:36Speaker 1: know now that Nick Bosa has torn his ACL, so
- 13:38Speaker 1: he's gone undergoing surgery. He will miss the rest of
- 13:40Speaker 1: this season. And he had this team in fits last
- 13:45Speaker 1: time they were here and that blowout win at Everybank Stadium.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I think he had one or two one and a
- 13:49Speaker 1: half or two sacks in that game. And timing for us,
- 13:52Speaker 1: I mean, very unfortunate, but he runs that defense and
- 13:55Speaker 1: that's good for the Jaguars, not great for both of
- 13:58Speaker 1: to miss the year.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Wherever he lined up that day, he had to tackle
- 14:01Speaker 5: three yards heap in the backfield on the snap of
- 14:03Speaker 5: the ball.
- 14:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, he's a great player who his career
- 14:07Speaker 6: is now being defined by injuries, meaning when he's on
- 14:12Speaker 6: the field, he's fantastic and like a lot of that team,
- 14:16Speaker 6: that team, it is one of the more injury played
- 14:21Speaker 6: teams and I had injured. They are phenomenal. I still
- 14:25Speaker 6: think they're phenomenal, but we don't have Nick Bosa on
- 14:28Speaker 6: the field. It's a different team.
- 14:29Speaker 4: This is a second ACL. He had one of twenty
- 14:30Speaker 4: twin too well, so.
- 14:32Speaker 3: That makes it tough.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I will say though, as much as they are oft injured,
- 14:36Speaker 1: you know McCaffrey as well, they step up and find
- 14:39Speaker 1: ways to win without and we've seen it so far
- 14:43Speaker 1: with Mac Jones coming in a couple of games and
- 14:44Speaker 1: getting them a win.
- 14:45Speaker 3: They're three and zero right now, so they find a way.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Mac said that he wanted to play with Shanahan, and
- 14:53Speaker 5: I set it off the top. Kyle Shanahan is a
- 14:55Speaker 5: guy I like to watch the Niners just because he's
- 14:58Speaker 5: so clever. There are so many different things that he does.
- 15:01Speaker 5: And of course his dad, when he was the coach
- 15:03Speaker 5: of the Broncos back in the nineties, was known for
- 15:05Speaker 5: that as well. I think he's an excellent offensive mind,
- 15:09Speaker 5: fun to watch, creates mismatches. I told you about that
- 15:11Speaker 5: day in twenty seventeen that was not as good a
- 15:14Speaker 5: team as the Jaguars that day, and yet they use
- 15:16Speaker 5: Kyle Jusak the fullback and it just turned the Jaguars
- 15:20Speaker 5: inside and out.
- 15:22Speaker 4: That was Shanahan. I think he is one of the best.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I let's check in around the AFC South. Obviously, we
- 15:27Speaker 1: played the Texans last week. Colts and Titans faced off
- 15:30Speaker 1: as well, and the Colts.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Are now three and oh. Titans are continuing to struggle,
- 15:33Speaker 3: obviously with their rookie quarterback and some other issues over there.
- 15:37Speaker 6: But the Colts, for real, job, you know, they're three
- 15:40Speaker 6: and oh and they have a quarterback who is functioning
- 15:44Speaker 6: at a high level. I have not watched him enough
- 15:49Speaker 6: to know it is. He is sending into the upper
- 15:52Speaker 6: echelon his status.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Sure say that he is.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Having one of those Sam Darnold Baker Mayfield kind of resurgences.
- 16:02Speaker 6: And yeah, they're for real, and Tay find somebody and
- 16:04Speaker 6: beats them. Because they play in your division, They're gonna
- 16:06Speaker 6: play roughly the same schedule, so you know, don't let
- 16:11Speaker 6: them get too far away, because you're not always gonna
- 16:15Speaker 6: beat him here. No, even though they beat him here
- 16:17Speaker 6: ten years in a row at some way. Those things
- 16:19Speaker 6: in So, yeah, they're dangerous.
- 16:20Speaker 5: They have a good roster and the problem was they
- 16:24Speaker 5: had no quarterback play they could rely on, which put
- 16:26Speaker 5: all the pressure on Jonathan Taylor. And now all of
- 16:29Speaker 5: a sudden, Jonathan Taylor has a quarterback he's running well,
- 16:33Speaker 5: and that's unlocking the abilities of the rest of the
- 16:35Speaker 5: roster of Shane Sikin to be able to play the
- 16:38Speaker 5: game that he wants to play.
- 16:39Speaker 4: The question mark for me is.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Can Daniel Jones stay at that high level and can
- 16:43Speaker 5: Jonathan Taylor stay healthy because he's had a variety of
- 16:45Speaker 5: foot and ankle injuries that have taken him off the
- 16:47Speaker 5: field late in the season, and that's just killed the
- 16:49Speaker 5: Colts playoff hopes at all. If those two guys stay healthy,
- 16:54Speaker 5: the Colts are a really good football team and.
- 16:56Speaker 4: They can keep it going.
- 16:57Speaker 1: So since he is key for Indiana, Jones and the
- 17:00Speaker 1: you know right now leading the AFC South, all right,
- 17:03Speaker 1: say with us one more break and we'll come back.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Tell you what's coming up the rest of the week.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Jags fans, if you want customize dag wors furniture for
- 17:19Speaker 1: your homepick a zip cher, dot comor bows all the
- 17:21Speaker 1: customizable options.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Zip Chair is furniture for fans.
- 17:26Speaker 7: To win the week, finish the game, Hey, stay to connected.
- 17:33Speaker 7: We talked about BT Trevor the big time moment. Guys,
- 17:38Speaker 7: huge moment.
- 17:39Speaker 8: They go zero and we get to seven man pro
- 17:43Speaker 8: pick it up, hit a bread and butter play huge
- 17:48Speaker 8: play guys to go win the game.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Here we go. JAG's have it on the left, hash
- 17:53Speaker 2: shotgun for Trevor Lawrence on the forty four yard line,
- 17:57Speaker 2: five man front for Houston. Now they're changing the play,
- 18:02Speaker 2: apparently dropping his Trevor looking fires middle of the field.
- 18:07Speaker 7: That was taught thirty five thirty twenty five twenty Bryan Thomas.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Then it's the first down near the ten yard line
- 18:16Speaker 2: of the Houston Texas.
- 18:18Speaker 5: How good is that.
- 18:22Speaker 6: You play? Where did keep play?
- 18:26Speaker 2: Replace at the running back? Trevor under center? They gave
- 18:30Speaker 2: us the Travis etn picks his way to the pop.
- 18:32Speaker 2: He's gonna walk into the end zone.
- 18:36Speaker 1: That's a lot of mass.
- 18:42Speaker 8: Make the last one.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I know. That's what's a hoop matter.
- 18:49Speaker 7: With the resiliency, the way that you guys are continue
- 18:52Speaker 7: in the state, connected through difficult adversity. Nobody pointing the finger.
- 18:58Speaker 8: So really proud the way you guys played, man, really proud,
- 19:02Speaker 8: So congratulations to you guys.
- 19:05Speaker 1: All right, picle moment.
- 19:08Speaker 3: If you go behind the scenes there, natory check out
- 19:10Speaker 3: founds of the game. We'll have more on that. But
- 19:12Speaker 3: to get into the team meeting.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Kind of see them talk down obviously, you know Trevor
- 19:16Speaker 1: checked out of that play and kind of set it up.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Played to Brian Thomas Junior going back to his old
- 19:22Speaker 1: stand by number one. Maybe he hasn't been making the plays,
- 19:25Speaker 1: but he made it when it counted and they won
- 19:26Speaker 1: the game, so there's something to be said for that.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And just seeing them all kind of rally around Brian
- 19:30Speaker 1: has been great as well, so hopefully get things back rolling.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Liam Collen is radically transparent. I mean he tells you everything.
- 19:37Speaker 5: He tells you things you don't ask him because that's.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Who he is.
- 19:41Speaker 5: He's got to buy John. He's got the type of
- 19:43Speaker 5: communicator he is, the type of leader he is. The
- 19:45Speaker 5: play caller is obviously something that we have seen from
- 19:47Speaker 5: his time at Tampa. You know, translate over here. He's
- 19:51Speaker 5: a lot of fun to watch and a lot of
- 19:53Speaker 5: hope for what this program will become based on his guidance.
- 19:57Speaker 6: Yeah. I know I've said it before, but if you're
- 20:00Speaker 6: watching this, don't take for granted what you just saw.
- 20:03Speaker 6: If you're a Jaguars fan, not many teams in the
- 20:06Speaker 6: league would let you see that. It's groundbreaking stuff, and
- 20:12Speaker 6: it does give you a chance to see what Liam
- 20:15Speaker 6: Cohen's all about. His communication level, the way he communicates
- 20:20Speaker 6: with players is very unique and high end. I think
- 20:24Speaker 6: it's what's gonna give him a chance to be a
- 20:25Speaker 6: phenomenal head coach over his career, and you know, that
- 20:30Speaker 6: may have been a very important moment for BTJ and Trevor.
- 20:36Speaker 6: They've got to prove on top of that going forward,
- 20:39Speaker 6: but that might be a turning point moment for him
- 20:41Speaker 6: and for Jaguars fans to sort of see that how
- 20:44Speaker 6: it's reacted to.
- 20:46Speaker 4: I've never seen it before and so very cool.
- 20:49Speaker 3: It's been a while. It's very cool access to get.
- 20:52Speaker 3: We'll be hearing from the team today.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I will try to see what the issues are with
- 20:56Speaker 1: Zammy Brown, whether he'll be available or not.
- 20:58Speaker 3: And then tomorrow and jag ZAM, we're gonna do some
- 21:00Speaker 3: more deep dive into the forty nine ers and see
- 21:02Speaker 3: what we can expect from that week before matchup. To
- 21:04Speaker 3: be back here and dig VAM tomorrow
