- 0:00Charles: Adding Reverend Jim to the intro of this.
- 0:03Charles: Evil Reverend Jim.
- 0:03Charles: Evil Reverend Jim, sorry.
- 0:05Charles: Sorry.
- 0:06Charles: How dare you?
- 0:07Charles: Is just incredible.
- 0:08Nora: It's all I needed.
- 0:09Charles: It has changed the vibe drastically.
- 0:11Charles: We had a whole plan where we were gonna jump in here
- 0:13Charles: and be like the cringy YouTubers being like,
- 0:17Charles: what's up everybody?
- 0:18Charles: Smash that like button, hit subscribe,
- 0:21Charles: and comment your favorite fucking shit
- 0:25Charles: in the comment section.
- 0:27Charles: But instead, who let the dogs out?
- 0:29Nora: I let the dogs out, I let the dogs out, I set them all free.
- 0:35Charles: Hoo hoo!
- 0:35Charles: Roll the intro please.
- 1:26Charles: Hello and welcome to this evening's performance
- 1:29Charles: of "Time Check."
- 1:30Charles: I'm your host, Charles Joseph Kelly.
- 1:33Nora: And I'm Nora.
- 1:34Charles: Hi Nora, how are you doing this evening?
- 1:36Nora: I'm doing well, how are you?
- 1:37Charles: I'm doing quite well.
- 1:39Nora: Oh, glad to hear it.
- 1:41Charles: Glad to hear it.
- 1:42Charles: Folks, we've got a great show for you tonight,
- 1:44Charles: but before we jump into it,
- 1:46Charles: Chris, how are you doing this evening?
- 1:49Chris: I'm here, I'm doing all right.
- 1:51Chris: I'm doing great because it's vibe check time
- 1:54Chris: and I'm here with all of you.
- 1:56Charles: Oh, that's so exciting
- 2:00Charles: to have all of you here with us this evening.
- 2:03Charles: We've got a great show for you.
- 2:05Charles: We've got, what do we, what do we got,
- 2:07Charles: what do we got tonight?
- 2:08Nora: We've got some really great Around the Nets, as usual.
- 2:12Charles: Chris took some kind of mental health assessment.
- 2:19Chris: It wasn't, if only, no.
- 2:23Chris: For my day job, I took a, basically,
- 2:27Chris: an assessment to determine how I communicate,
- 2:31Chris: which I could have saved him the time, it's poorly.
- 2:33Chris: But yeah, we're gonna talk about it.
- 2:36Chris: We're gonna talk about the results live.
- 2:38Chris: I have not seen it, so we'll all be seeing it
- 2:40Chris: for the first time, and I will let the two of you
- 2:43Chris: help determine whether this accurately fits
- 2:46Chris: my management style.
- 2:48Charles: Can you also, maybe we should do this this episode,
- 2:51Charles: can you pull up the Rad Czar?
- 2:53Nora: (laughing)
- 2:54Charles: And we'll just ask Chris some clarifying questions.
- 2:58Nora: I can definitely pull up the Rad Czar.
- 3:00Charles: Thank you, thank you.
- 3:01Charles: I think that that would be, just randomly,
- 3:04Charles: just cut and be like, and Chris,
- 3:05Charles: how do you, when you go to parties,
- 3:07Charles: do you feel overwhelmed?
- 3:10Charles: (laughing)
- 3:11Chris: While she's doing that, folks,
- 3:12Chris: we have a phone number you can call.
- 3:13Chris: It's 888-853-VIBE, it's flashing on the screen right now.
- 3:17Chris: 888-853-VIBE, call us, leave us a message,
- 3:21Chris: tell us what's going on in your life.
- 3:22Chris: Maybe we'll play it on the show.
- 3:24Chris: Be funny.
- 3:25Charles: Tell us what you scored on the rads are.
- 3:27Charles: Yeah!
- 3:28Charles: Knowing our audience, a lot of you probably have taken it.
- 3:32Nora: Mine said that I was 100% likely to be neurodivergent.
- 3:36Chris: Oh, just neurodivergent?
- 3:40Chris: Only 100%?
- 3:41Nora: It was 100%-- it said 100% neurodivergent.
- 3:44Charles: The 0% margin of error.
- 3:46Charles: Right.
- 3:46Nora: Yeah.
- 3:47Charles: Well, did you take the actual Radzar?
- 3:49Charles: Because it gives you like a point number.
- 3:52Charles: And that point number correlates to how autistic you are,
- 3:56Charles: potentially.
- 3:56Charles: I'm going to go 150s.
- 3:59Chris: Wait a second, what is the Rad Czar?
- 4:01Charles: Oh, don't worry about it.
- 4:03Chris: Oh, okay, great, great.
- 4:05Charles: Well, we'll find out before the end of the show,
- 4:10Charles: you are going to find out.
- 4:12Charles: I'm terrified.
- 4:12Charles: What the Rad Czar is.
- 4:14Charles: I don't like it already.
- 4:15Charles: No, it's gonna be a delight.
- 4:18Charles: But we got some great content.
- 4:19Charles: We're doing the Chris's Myers-Briggs test.
- 4:25Charles: (laughing)
- 4:27Charles: What are you in the Myers-Briggs?
- 4:29Nora: Well, Myers-Briggs is bullshit,
- 4:30Nora: but I'm an INFP because that's what all,
- 4:35Nora: general, or an INFJ.
- 4:37Nora: INFJ because that's what all autistic women
- 4:39Nora: generally are on the Myers-Briggs.
- 4:41Charles: I joke 'cause I've never taken Myers-Briggs.
- 4:44Charles: I always put, if I ever like say like,
- 4:47Charles: 'cause everybody puts their Myers-Briggs
- 4:48Charles: in their like profile or dating profile, whatever.
- 4:51Charles: I always put like, in my Myers-Briggs is PBNJ.
- 4:55Nora: (laughing)
- 4:56Charles: And I think I'm so funny.
- 4:58Charles: And people will go like, what's PB&J?
- 5:00Charles: I've never heard of that in the Myers-Briggs.
- 5:01Charles: And I'm like, come on.
- 5:04Charles: It's funny.
- 5:05Chris: It is funny.
- 5:06Chris: I would put, I've never had TMJ in my life.
- 5:09Chris: (laughing)
- 5:11Charles: So we've got that.
- 5:12Charles: We're learning today how to become untraceable
- 5:14Charles: on the internet like Nora said.
- 5:16Charles: We've got some great stuff in around the net.
- 5:20Charles: But before we get into all of that,
- 5:23Charles: how are you guys doing this week?
- 5:24Charles: What's new, what's happening, what's up, what's going on?
- 5:28Nora: Yeah, what's going on with you?
- 5:29Charles: Oh, you want me, I asked the question first.
- 5:33Charles: But I am first on the list of talking in the-
- 5:36Nora: You should probably go first because I'm-
- 5:40Charles: So, I've got a lot going on, right?
- 5:43Charles: So I'm kind of like, we're halfway through
- 5:45Charles: the year at this point.
- 5:48Charles: I've been like, getting ready for the best of the year
- 5:51Charles: conversation, 'cause that's gonna be coming up here
- 5:53Charles: in a few months.
- 5:55Charles: I am working on my list of best books.
- 5:58Charles: I'm working on best games and best movies
- 6:01Charles: that I have seen this year.
- 6:03Charles: But I think we'll do the same format that we did last year.
- 6:08Charles: Where we all choose a category and we all talk about it.
- 6:12Nora: Yeah, I think that's a good idea.
- 6:13Charles: That'd be fun.
- 6:14Charles: And as long as I get more than 15 minutes this time,
- 6:17Charles: I'll be fine.
- 6:19Charles: No more than 15 minutes, Charles.
- 6:20Nora: Well I think Chris went to 35 last time.
- 6:24Nora: So I think we can each, maybe we could,
- 6:28Nora: (laughing)
- 6:28Nora: I have an idea, wait, wait, I have a good idea.
- 6:30Charles: Okay.
- 6:31Nora: What if we each took an episode,
- 6:32Nora: so then we could have the full amount of time
- 6:35Nora: for us to talk about our things.
- 6:37Charles: Oh my God, nobody's gonna watch that.
- 6:39Charles: That's gonna be miserable.
- 6:40Nora: No, but like, no, but one of our main topics
- 6:42Nora: for the week could be one of us giving our tops,
- 6:45Nora: like our best things of the week.
- 6:46Charles: Put it at the end of the episode.
- 6:47Charles: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:48Charles: We can just like, people who wanna like listen to us,
- 6:50Charles: Exactly, exactly. - We can just do
- 6:51Charles: the top of the month.
- 6:53Nora: Right, but then-- - Top month.
- 6:56Nora: But then each of us don't feel like we're rushed.
- 6:59Nora: Right. - That's really the thing.
- 7:00Charles: We get all of our tops in one month,
- 7:03Charles: all of the bottoms are the next month.
- 7:05Charles: I was gonna say, when is bottoms month, Charles?
- 7:07Charles: (laughing)
- 7:09Charles: So yeah, so I'm kinda working on that.
- 7:13Charles: There are some really awesome games
- 7:16Charles: that I'm probably, next week or the week after,
- 7:17Charles: I'm gonna bring to you guys,
- 7:18Charles: 'cause I think there's some cool stuff
- 7:21Charles: that nobody's talking about
- 7:22Charles: that I want you guys to check out.
- 7:24Nora: I have an Xbox.
- 7:25Charles: You have an Xbox now?
- 7:26Nora: Yeah.
- 7:27Charles: Look at you.
- 7:28Charles: Like one of the new Xboxes?
- 7:29Nora: What are the old Xboxes?
- 7:30Charles: Like the original Xbox.
- 7:32Charles: Am I supposed to recommend-
- 7:33Nora: The Black Friday 360?
- 7:35Charles: I feel like if you have a Xbox 360,
- 7:38Charles: I can recommend you some games.
- 7:41Charles: They're a little outdated.
- 7:43Charles: (laughing)
- 7:44Chris: Though honestly, if you have a working Xbox 360 in 2026,
- 7:47Chris: You have won the video game lottery
- 7:50Chris: because so many of those died the red ring of death.
- 7:53Chris: So the fact that you have a working one
- 7:55Chris: is pretty impressive.
- 7:56Nora: I haven't turned it on, but I have it.
- 7:58Nora: 'Cause I was like, I should probably
- 8:02Nora: get a video game console.
- 8:04Nora: But the only console-
- 8:05Charles: Where did you get it?
- 8:06Nora: From my roommate.
- 8:07Charles: Oh, so you just, like your roommate has an Xbox
- 8:10Charles: and you kind of-
- 8:10Nora: She was like, do you want it?
- 8:11Nora: And I was like, yeah, I'll take it.
- 8:12Charles: I thought she went on some quest
- 8:13Charles: to buy a 20 year old console.
- 8:16Nora: It was just in my house.
- 8:17Charles: I just found myself in this little mom and pop game store
- 8:21Charles: randomly.
- 8:22Charles: I was going to go to Joanne's.
- 8:26Nora: Rest in peace.
- 8:28Charles: No Joanne's.
- 8:31Charles: But also next week, I'm bringing us all
- 8:34Charles: a tasty little treat that I'm really excited for.
- 8:37Charles: Chris, you can share my screen.
- 8:40Charles: We've got dill pickle flavored liquid IV
- 8:46Charles: that we're bringing to the show this next week.
- 8:48Charles: Grillo's pickles specifically.
- 8:49Nora: I wonder how sweet it is.
- 8:52Nora: I'm curious to that.
- 8:53Chris: Well, it does say, if you go back to the last slide,
- 8:55Chris: it says it's a savory.
- 8:58Nora: Yeah.
- 9:00Nora: I mean, it says it's a touch of sweetness.
- 9:01Chris: That first slide.
- 9:02Nora: So, you know, we'll see.
- 9:04Chris: A savory fusion of vinegar, cucumber, dill,
- 9:06Chris: and a touch of sweetness.
- 9:07Nora: So, I mean, pickles do have sugar in them.
- 9:09Charles: As long as it's, it says it's dill,
- 9:11Charles: as long as it's dill and not like the fucking butter pickles,
- 9:15Nora: Those are so bad. - Hater.
- 9:17Nora: You're such a hater.
- 9:18Nora: Those are disgusting. - They're so good.
- 9:20Charles: They're not good with anything.
- 9:22Charles: What's wrong with butter pickles, Charles?
- 9:23Nora: They're really good on a pulled pork sandwich.
- 9:26Nora: Really good on a pulled pork sandwich.
- 9:28Charles: It's better to have a dill pickle
- 9:29Charles: on a pulled pork sandwich.
- 9:32Charles: The acidity is so much nicer
- 9:34Charles: than the weird shit that you get with those
- 9:38Charles: like funky ass pickles. - Wait, so Charles,
- 9:40Chris: before we went live, you and Nora overrode me two to one
- 9:44Chris: on some bullshit we'll talk about later.
- 9:47Chris: We're overruling you now, two to one, on butter pickles.
- 9:51Nora: Bread and butter pickles are fantastic.
- 9:54Chris: I don't-
- 9:55Nora: Homemade bread and butter pickles.
- 9:56Nora: I don't, I mean, I did eat an entire jar
- 9:59Nora: of bread and butter pickles already this summer.
- 10:01Chris: And if you disagree with that, you can go-
- 10:04Nora: (laughing)
- 10:07Nora: I legitimately-- - Go fuck yourself!
- 10:09Nora: (laughing)
- 10:11Nora: I have eaten a whole jar of bread
- 10:12Nora: I'm eating butter pickles this summer.
- 10:15Charles: That's disgusting.
- 10:17Charles: I like them.
- 10:18Charles: To be fair, I do have a grillos pickles,
- 10:22Charles: the dill pickle, the little sliced ones
- 10:25Charles: that you can get from Costco in my fridge right now
- 10:28Charles: that I've been just like snacking on.
- 10:29Nora: Pickles are great.
- 10:30Charles: I love pickles.
- 10:31Nora: There was one time I had some spicy pickled grillos
- 10:35Nora: and I was eating the pickles and then I rubbed my eye
- 10:38Nora: and I was like, oh my God, why is my eye on fire?
- 10:40Nora: And it's 'cause I ate spicy pickles with my fingers.
- 10:42Charles: That's what happens when you put spicy food in your eyes.
- 10:44Nora: Yeah, I do know about that.
- 10:46Charles: Yeah, they talk about that
- 10:47Charles: in every single episode of Hot Ones.
- 10:48Charles: (laughing)
- 10:49Charles: Yeah, don't rub your eyes, don't rub your eyes.
- 10:52Nora: I am aware, I'm just dumb.
- 10:55Chris: Speaking of Hot Ones, y'all, my birthday is next week.
- 10:58Chris: You are a hot one.
- 11:00Chris: You're a hot one too, buddy.
- 11:02Chris: But I think that at some point soon,
- 11:04Chris: we should do the Hot Ones episode.
- 11:07Chris: Wait, I know I said that we should do
- 11:10Chris: something else next week.
- 11:12Chris: Not necessarily, we don't necessarily have to do
- 11:14Chris: the hot ones next week, but sometime soon,
- 11:17Chris: I think we should.
- 11:19Chris: We should find some sort of milestone to celebrate.
- 11:23Charles: I feel like your birthday is a pretty good milestone.
- 11:26Charles: Agreed.
- 11:26Charles: And honestly, Chris, I hear you about wanting
- 11:29Charles: to do it as a prerecord.
- 11:31Charles: I still think we should do it live.
- 11:33Charles: Because the live energy is so much different
- 11:36Charles: than a cut up video.
- 11:38Nora: I could bring my knitting.
- 11:40Nora: I'll sit here and knit.
- 11:43Nora: I don't know if that'll help.
- 11:44Chris: We'll just have a knitting cam cut over the door.
- 11:47Nora: 'Cause I'm not gonna try any of the wings,
- 11:49Nora: but I'll keep myself busy and occupied
- 11:51Nora: and so I can comment on things.
- 11:52Charles: Or, hear me out, Chris,
- 11:54Charles: Nora runs in the back and runs the show.
- 11:58Charles: Yeah, that's gonna go well.
- 11:59Nora: Mandy, I need Mandy.
- 12:01Charles: But if we're doing the hot ones, that one segment,
- 12:04Charles: we can keep the camera just on you and me.
- 12:07Chris: Right, except that my vision for the Hot Ones segment
- 12:10Chris: is that we mimic the actual show as much as possible,
- 12:14Chris: which will mean we need to have multiple cameras,
- 12:19Chris: a wide shot, and then probably one on me.
- 12:23Chris: So we'll have to live cut.
- 12:25Chris: That's so much work.
- 12:26Chris: I know, but we gotta do it,
- 12:28Chris: and you've gotta wear a bald cap.
- 12:31Chris: You've gotta do your research.
- 12:32Chris: You've gotta be able to ask me deeply personal questions
- 12:37Chris: that you have somehow found something about on the internet.
- 12:40Chris: Like, we've gotta make this real, Charles,
- 12:42Charles: if it's gonna be fun.
- 12:43Charles: Or we just try the sauces and die.
- 12:48Charles: Then that's comedy gold.
- 12:50Charles: I can ask you questions that pertain to your life.
- 12:55Charles: I can reach out to your partner and be like,
- 12:58Charles: tell me all the Chris secrets.
- 13:01Nora: Speaking of, Chris, would you rather go out to eat in a restaurant by yourself rather
- 13:07Nora: than with someone that you know?
- 13:09Chris: I am not taking your test.
- 13:11Chris: Not doing it.
- 13:12Chris: No.
- 13:13Charles: We're prepping.
- 13:13Charles: It's just a survey.
- 13:14Charles: This is just us prepping for...
- 13:18Charles: That's a lie.
- 13:19Charles: This is just us prepping for the hot one.
- 13:21Charles: It is.
- 13:22Charles: For legal reasons, that's a lie.
- 13:25Charles: But no, no, no, for real.
- 13:28Nora: Do you prefer going out to eat at a restaurant by yourself or with your friend?
- 13:32Chris: It's always more fun with other people.
- 13:34Chris: Okay, cool.
- 13:35Chris: Always fun with more people.
- 13:37Charles: Interesting.
- 13:38Charles: Interesting.
- 13:39Charles: I may be wrong about how I feel about this.
- 13:42Charles: I may come out on the wrong side of history here, folks.
- 13:46Nora: I honestly think he's a little more neurotypical than we expect.
- 13:49Charles: This is interesting.
- 13:50Nora: Chris, don't listen.
- 13:51Nora: We're having a conversation.
- 13:52Nora: We are more neurotypical than he is.
- 13:53Chris: No problem.
- 13:54Chris: I just won't listen to the audio that's going out live through the headphones.
- 13:57Nora: He has the hyper fixations that, you know,
- 14:01Nora: Right.
- 14:01Nora: That a neurodivergent,
- 14:02Nora: Chris, stop listening, stop listening.
- 14:04Nora: Stop.
- 14:05Nora: (laughing)
- 14:05Nora: A neurotypical person just like doesn't
- 14:08Nora: fixate on things, you know?
- 14:10Charles: Right.
- 14:10Nora: So I just, there's a lot of,
- 14:12Nora: I mean, we have more questions.
- 14:13Charles: We have more questions.
- 14:14Nora: We're gonna ask more questions.
- 14:15Nora: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so.
- 14:17Nora: Anyway.
- 14:17Charles: So what about you guys?
- 14:18Charles: What's going on?
- 14:21Chris: I have been working on a project
- 14:24Chris: and dealing with some controversy
- 14:26Chris: that I can't really talk about.
- 14:28Chris: So my anecdotes mostly look like this.
- 14:33Nora: (laughing)
- 14:36Chris: Back to you.
- 14:39Charles: How about this?
- 14:40Charles: My anecdote is similar.
- 14:42Charles: I don't work for that company.
- 14:44Charles: Yes.
- 14:44Charles: I could tell a grand story of something like-
- 14:48Charles: Hypothetically.
- 14:49Charles: A hypothetical scenario that may or may not have happened
- 14:56Charles: make it loosely based off of what you told us.
- 15:00Chris: You certainly could do that, Charles.
- 15:03Chris: You want me to?
- 15:04Chris: If you like.
- 15:05Nora: A long, long time ago in a galaxy far away.
- 15:07Charles: Okay, so-
- 15:10Nora: There was this movie company-
- 15:11Charles: Okay, no, no, no, we're gonna do it this way.
- 15:13Charles: Nora and I actually just made a movie.
- 15:16Charles: Yeah, we did!
- 15:17Charles: Yes!
- 15:17Charles: And here's the thing, Nora and I made a movie,
- 15:22Charles: and it is a sequel to a very popular,
- 15:27Charles: indie film.
- 15:29Nora: Indie comedy work?
- 15:31Charles: Yeah, core comedy.
- 15:34Charles: And we got some, I like how we're making ourselves
- 15:38Charles: the directors. - Late additions.
- 15:39Charles: Yeah, so no, we decided we wanted to be the directors,
- 15:43Charles: we wanted full say in everything that we do
- 15:46Charles: for this production.
- 15:47Charles: Hello, second camera.
- 15:49Charles: (laughing)
- 15:50Charles: And during this process, we decided we wanted to be auteurs.
- 15:55Charles: tours. We wanted to create the best possible film that Nora and myself wanted to do.
- 16:02Nora: And that means we maybe had to go off script.
- 16:06Charles: Go off script a little bit.
- 16:07Nora: Like maybe the company didn't approve the changes that we made
- 16:11Nora: and maybe we didn't give those changes to them until like a couple days before the premiere.
- 16:16Nora: But like it's our movie and we're really excited about the art that we're putting out there.
- 16:21Charles: What kind of art did we put into this movie, Nora?
- 16:25Nora: Some of the most obscene stuff that you might have,
- 16:28Nora: that you can imagine.
- 16:28Charles: But it's art, it makes you feel something.
- 16:31Charles: Like somebody-- - Pooping on Bible?
- 16:33Charles: Somebody pooping, actually pooping on a Bible
- 16:37Charles: and having it on film.
- 16:39Nora: Yeah.
- 16:40Nora: So like we love this movie, we're passionate about it,
- 16:44Nora: but we didn't, but there-
- 16:46Charles: Right, and in this scenario, right, because it's us.
- 16:50Charles: It is us. - It's us.
- 16:52Charles: The company that we sent this to are just being queer phobic against us.
- 16:57Charles: Yeah, and fascist.
- 16:58Charles: Yeah, they're fascist.
- 16:59Charles: Racist.
- 16:59Charles: Yeah, who doesn't want to see this art?
- 17:03Nora: They're silencing this art.
- 17:06Charles: How do you feel about what we just told you, Chris, about the movie that we just made?
- 17:13Chris: I think that sounds like a dilly of a pickle.
- 17:17Chris: It really does.
- 17:18Chris: I think I fully support the art that you and Nora
- 17:23Chris: want to make, but you also have to accept
- 17:26Chris: that most people are not going to,
- 17:29Chris: and if you are, in theory, if you were paid money
- 17:35Chris: to create this art-- - Hypothetically.
- 17:38Chris: Hypothetically, yes, then you would have to accept
- 17:48Chris: may not necessarily completely qualify
- 17:52Chris: the art you want to make.
- 17:54Nora: 'Cause I think the thing that we might have forgotten
- 17:57Nora: is that the producer has the final say.
- 18:02Chris: That's true.
- 18:03Chris: You know, when, you know, just like,
- 18:05Chris: just like any other job,
- 18:07Chris: when you are hired to do a job, hypothetically,
- 18:11Chris: the person hiring you,
- 18:13Chris: the person that is paying you to do the job
- 18:17Chris: has the authority over the output that you create.
- 18:23Chris: As personal and as artistic as it may be
- 18:26Chris: to your psyche and your wellbeing,
- 18:29Chris: at the end of the day, you are working for someone else.
- 18:32Chris: And if you don't adhere to that,
- 18:37Chris: sometimes that can be a problem.
- 18:39Chris: Well, it's our movie and you're silencing us.
- 18:41Charles: But come on, I just wanted to show somebody
- 18:45Charles: just pooping on a Bible.
- 18:48Charles: It's art, it means something.
- 18:51Charles: It's how I feel about religion in general
- 18:55Charles: and I wanna share how I feel
- 18:57Charles: in the most graphic thing
- 18:59Charles: that I possibly could put out there.
- 19:01Charles: If I watched that, honestly, if I saw that,
- 19:04Charles: I would be yarfing so hard.
- 19:06Charles: I would just be like, (growls)
- 19:09Charles: Yes, if you saw this hypothetical thing
- 19:11Charles: that doesn't exist. - Hypothetical, right.
- 19:12Charles: Chris, did you watch this?
- 19:14Charles: (laughing)
- 19:18Nora: Yeah.
- 19:19Charles: Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss.
- 19:21Nora: Not hypothetically, I unfortunately have been watching
- 19:24Nora: the whole side of YouTube history of bad YouTubers.
- 19:30Charles: Okay, who specifically?
- 19:31Charles: Let's talk about it, because I think that we can talk about-
- 19:33Nora: Chris Chan.
- 19:34Chris: Okay.
- 19:35Chris: Okay, for those uninitiated, like me,
- 19:38Chris: in as short as possible, who is Chris Chan
- 19:42Chris: and why are they the worst?
- 19:43Nora: Chris Chan is the first internet lol cow.
- 19:49Chris: What is a lol cow?
- 19:50Nora: A lol cow is somebody that the internet makes fun of
- 19:53Nora: for them being themselves.
- 19:55Nora: They're an autistic person out of Virginia.
- 19:59Charles: And really-- - Trans.
- 20:00Nora: Trans, yep.
- 20:03Nora: And they love Sonic and Pikachu
- 20:07Nora: and made a character named Sonichu.
- 20:09Nora: And because of their autism,
- 20:11Nora: they were very easy to take advantage of on the internet,
- 20:13Nora: and then also they made some questionable choices.
- 20:17Nora: And there is 20 plus, 26 years of lore about this person,
- 20:24Nora: and I'm watching the complete history
- 20:26Nora: of Chris Chan on YouTube,
- 20:28Nora: and each episode is like 45 minutes long,
- 20:31Nora: and I'm on episode 10, and I have to finish it,
- 20:35Nora: I need to know.
- 20:36Charles: Do you know what happened with Chris Chan's mother?
- 20:39Nora: No.
- 20:40Charles: I won't spoil it for you.
- 20:42Nora: Kind of, I think I knew of it.
- 20:44Nora: I just need to know how this person got to where they are,
- 20:48Nora: and I'm not enjoying any of it.
- 20:50Nora: It's rough, it's brutal.
- 20:52Charles: This is great.
- 20:53Nora: It's rough.
- 20:54Charles: We're talking, this is awesome show right now.
- 20:59Nora: Really compelling vibe check.
- 21:00Nora: And then the other one that I watched was EDP 445,
- 21:03Nora: which this guy Mike, Mike Chun, Mike something,
- 21:08Nora: just made a documentary this week and released,
- 21:12Nora: Mike Klum is his name, just released a documentary
- 21:15Nora: about EDP 445 and he's just basically a pedophile.
- 21:19Nora: So, things are just like really dark.
- 21:23Chris: Cool, you know what, let's go around the net.
- 21:26Chris: (laughing)
- 21:35Charles: I feel like I need to recommend some classic
- 21:39Charles: YouTube lore videos so that you have
- 21:43Charles: something more enjoyable to watch.
- 21:45Nora: Probably, to intersperse between.
- 21:47Nora: I mean, I love myself a Defunctland.
- 21:49Charles: That's a classic comeback. - I love Defunctland.
- 21:50Charles: Defunctland is great.
- 21:52Nora: Love Defunctland.
- 21:53Charles: Have you watched much Hbomberguy?
- 21:56Charles: Maybe. - Oh man.
- 21:57Nora: I'll have to watch more Hbomberguy.
- 21:59Charles: Not really my thing, but. - Cool.
- 22:01Nora: You know. - Yep, cool.
- 22:03Charles: Chris, what do you watch on YouTube?
- 22:05Chris: Um, I watch some true crime stuff.
- 22:08Chris: I watch videos about video game history.
- 22:12Chris: Ooh.
- 22:13Chris: Like, I'm more into watching things
- 22:15Chris: about video game history than I am
- 22:16Chris: about playing video games, which is weird.
- 22:20Nora: Well, I've never been to Disneyland or Disney,
- 22:22Nora: well, I went to Disney World when I was nine months old,
- 22:24Nora: so it doesn't count, and I love Defunctland, so.
- 22:26Chris: Chris, are you familiar with Defunctland?
- 22:28Chris: Yes, I've seen several of their videos.
- 22:29Chris: They're extremely well done.
- 22:31Chris: Hell yeah.
- 22:32Nora: I rewatch the, which one, the dot one regularly.
- 22:37Nora: The queues, the history of queuing.
- 22:39Chris: Oh cool.
- 22:39Chris: Oh, I haven't seen that one.
- 22:40Nora: History of the fast pass.
- 22:41Chris: Nice.
- 22:42Chris: Good one.
- 22:43Chris: Hell yeah.
- 22:44Nora: Around the net.
- 22:45Chris: Okay, what do you got?
- 22:47Chris: The first one's actually mine.
- 22:49Chris: Yeah.
- 22:49Chris: 'Cause I didn't know where to put it in the list.
- 22:51Chris: Perfect.
- 22:51Chris: So I just put it at the beginning.
- 22:53Chris: What happens when a wizard comes to your bachelorette party?
- 22:56Chris: Oh.
- 22:58Chris: (screaming)
- 23:00Chris: (laughing)
- 23:01Nora: Am I late?
- 23:03Charles: You're just exactly on time.
- 23:06Nora: I'm supposed to be early.
- 23:08Nora: He arrives precisely when he's meant to.
- 23:11Nora: I know what many of you might be thinking.
- 23:13Nora: Is Harry at a police con?
- 23:15Nora: He's at the door.
- 23:15Nora: I could match the drapes.
- 23:18Nora: That's precisely the question I'm here to answer.
- 23:22Nora: My music, the mashup of "In Dreams"
- 23:26Nora: from "Fellowship of the Ring" with "Pony" by Ginuwine.
- 23:31Nora: (laughter)
- 23:32Nora: If you don't have it, I can do an acapella.
- 23:34Nora: (laughter)
- 23:37Nora: (singing)
- 23:39Video: (laughter)
- 23:41Video: (laughter)
- 23:43Video: (singing)
- 23:45Video: (laughter)
- 23:47Video: (laughter)
- 23:49Video: That's embarrassing.
- 23:50Video: (laughter)
- 23:52Video: Can I be honest with you, Sandra?
- 23:54Video: I'm not a stripper.
- 23:56Video: (laughter)
- 23:58Video: I'm a magician.
- 24:00Video: (laughing)
- 24:04Charles: Good stuff.
- 24:05Nora: That's a great entrance.
- 24:07Charles: Yeah.
- 24:07Nora: I like that a lot.
- 24:08Charles: I'm gonna start like walking through rooms.
- 24:13Charles: (vocalizing)
- 24:20Chris: That is honestly how you should enter every room.
- 24:22Nora: (vocalizing)
- 24:24Nora: (both laugh)
- 24:34Nora: You forgot that it's mixed with pony too.
- 24:36Chris: Kinda sounded like you were going into "Kiss from a Rose."
- 24:39Chris: (both laugh)
- 24:42Nora: Could be.
- 24:45Charles: Did you know that when it snows,
- 24:48Charles: my eyes become wide and your eyes, wait,
- 24:51Charles: now I don't even know the lyrics
- 24:53Charles: if I'm not singing the song.
- 24:54Charles: Oh no, oh no, I know the whole song.
- 24:57Charles: Oh God, now I don't, what the hell is going on?
- 25:00Nora: It's called Stage Fright.
- 25:03Charles: It's true.
- 25:05Nora: (laughing)
- 25:06Charles: As we learned last week, it's called ED.
- 25:08Nora: (laughing)
- 25:11Charles: Okay. - Good throwback.
- 25:13Nora: So this is something that I don't know
- 25:14Nora: if Chris is aware of, but this was released this week
- 25:19Nora: from the Denver Botanical Garden.
- 25:21Nora: Let's watch the video, the Water Lily Way Off is coming up.
- 25:26Video: It's the moment you've been waiting for.
- 25:30Chris: Ooh.
- 25:35Chris: What the hell?
- 25:37Chris: Whoa.
- 25:38Video: Water lily way off is next week.
- 25:40Video: In case you've been living under a leaf gardens from around the world compete to see how much
- 25:44Video: weight their water lily leaves can hold.
- 25:48Video: Now we got more than we bargained for when we started this competition back in 2023.
- 25:53Video: Now the pressure's on to outdo ourselves and everybody else.
- 25:57Video: So here I am.
- 26:00Video: No, no, no.
- 26:03Video: We might be in a little bit of a mess.
- 26:06Video: The 2026 competition takes place August 17th through 28th.
- 26:09Video: Also new this year, we have a Water Lily way off account.
- 26:13Video: So follow that to watch every video.
- 26:16Video: Better stay tuned cause it's gonna get spicy.
- 26:19Nora: Ooh, spicy.
- 26:20Nora: Excellent.
- 26:21Nora: No!
- 26:23Video: [laughter]
- 26:26Video: [laughter]
- 26:28Video: Nailed it.
- 26:29Video: Competition starts today, August 17th!
- 26:32Video: Follow Water Lily Weya!
- 26:35Video: Winner announced
- 26:36Video: Friday, August 28th!
- 26:38Video: [laughter]
- 26:40Video: I'm okay!
- 26:42Video: Let me have some fun now, please.
- 26:44Video: Thanks.
- 26:45Video: No! No! No!
- 26:47Nora: She's still going!
- 26:50Nora: (laughing)
- 26:53Video: Our inner tube budget screams non-profit.
- 26:56Video: (laughing)
- 27:03Chris: Hell yeah.
- 27:05Chris: That was awesome.
- 27:06Nora: Have you heard of the Waterlooly Way Off?
- 27:08Chris: No, this is new to me.
- 27:09Nora: So this happens, this has happened every year since 2023
- 27:13Nora: and the Denver Botanic Gardens started it.
- 27:15Nora: And basically they started challenging
- 27:17Nora: other botanic gardens to see how much their giant
- 27:20Nora: water lily pads can hold.
- 27:22Nora: And so, can you, would you be able to pull up
- 27:26Nora: the Water Lily Weigh Off website?
- 27:28Nora: Because last year, some of them were like,
- 27:31Nora: they could hold 185 pounds or more of weight
- 27:35Nora: on these lily pads, and it's literally like
- 27:38Nora: one of the coolest things ever.
- 27:40Nora: So, we'll keep you updated, 'cause the Water Lily Weigh Off
- 27:43Nora: is one of my favorite times of the year.
- 27:44Nora: but yeah, there's a bunch of information
- 27:48Nora: about who the champions were and all of the competitors.
- 27:54Charles: This is crazy, it's like from across the world.
- 27:57Nora: It's become international.
- 28:00Nora: It started out with just-
- 28:01Chris: Oh yeah, there's like ones in Norway, England,
- 28:04Chris: South Carolina, which is basically its own country.
- 28:10Nora: Yeah.
- 28:10Chris: 100,000 pound, Ohio, what the hell?
- 28:13Nora: Yeah.
- 28:14Chris: Wild, two ceramic frogs.
- 28:17Chris: All right, California.
- 28:19Chris: See what's going on.
- 28:20Chris: Three stones and an acorn.
- 28:22Chris: 12 tiny sandbags, I like that one.
- 28:25Chris: Very cool.
- 28:27Nora: All the Anthropocene.
- 28:28Charles: This is like how, you know,
- 28:31Charles: being somebody who considers themselves non-binary,
- 28:35Charles: a lot of those like,
- 28:39Charles: subtitles for each of those,
- 28:41Charles: or how I kind of like see myself as a person.
- 28:44Charles: It's not like a human being.
- 28:45Charles: I'm not a man.
- 28:47Charles: I am 12 tiny sandbags.
- 28:48Nora: Right.
- 28:49Nora: It's like how Hello Kitty is three apples tall.
- 28:52Charles: Right, exactly.
- 28:53Nora: Yeah.
- 28:53Nora: Which is a really endearing measurement
- 28:56Nora: that the internet has taken over, has embraced fully.
- 28:59Charles: As the US Botanic Garden, I am lots of fluff.
- 29:03Charles: (laughing)
- 29:05Nora: So yeah, I'll keep everyone updated.
- 29:08Nora: Show you all some of my favorites.
- 29:10Nora: Last year there were some really great entries,
- 29:11Nora: and they're just really fun videos too.
- 29:13Chris: UCLA one gummy bear
- 29:18Nora: That's me
- 29:19Charles: 0.003 kilograms. That's not a one gun. That's not me. Okay one gun. Have you ever just eaten one gummy bear satisfying?
- 29:28Nora: You're right. I'd be a bag and a half of gummy bears
- 29:35Charles: And maybe some gummy worms it's always shocking when you go to that camera like cut back to it, oh
- 29:44Charles: (humming)
- 29:46Charles: (humming)
- 29:57Nora: Okay, next video.
- 29:58Nora: I have a 71 year old lifeguard
- 30:01Nora: who got pulled under by a shark
- 30:03Nora: and there's just a lot of shock factor
- 30:05Nora: going on in this video.
- 30:06Nora: So let's just watch this newscast.
- 30:10Chris: Probably help if I was ready for it.
- 30:11Chris: Okay. - Oh yeah.
- 30:12Chris: Oh, that might help. - That might help.
- 30:14Video: Oh no, that's not it. - Oh, I was wrong.
- 30:17Video: (man)...force that pulled me under.
- 30:19Video: I've never felt anything like that, never.
- 30:22Video: I thought I got caught in a boat propeller.
- 30:26Video: That's a 71-year-old guy. - (man) And I realized
- 30:29Video: when I was going under, there was no boat.
- 30:31Video: And I knew what it was. I knew it was a great white.
- 30:35Video: (reporter) Veteran lifeguard Greg Wilford found himself
- 30:37Video: in danger of his own. A great white shark
- 30:41Video: pulled the 71 year old underwater.
- 30:44Video: It was frightening.
- 30:45Video: I'm not gonna lie. - Oh my God.
- 30:46Video: He says the shark had yanked on his rescue device
- 30:49Video: during routine patrol.
- 30:50Video: So I immediately slipped out of the strap on my can
- 30:54Video: and swum to the surface as fast as I could.
- 30:57Video: And then I just beelined it back to the beach.
- 31:01Video: He immediately turned from survivor to lifeguard again,
- 31:04Video: closing the beach for an hour
- 31:06Video: while the drones took to the sky.
- 31:06Video: Good job, you guys.
- 31:07Video: And the jet ski scoured the waves searching.
- 31:10Video: I was just screaming at people to get out of the water.
- 31:14Video: Because I didn't know where that thing was.
- 31:16Video: And the threat hasn't disappeared.
- 31:18Video: Officials say at least a dozen sharks
- 31:20Video: were spotted over the weekend along several Scarborough
- 31:23Video: beaches, which they say is unusually high,
- 31:27Video: even for this time of year.
- 31:29Video: Stay close to shore.
- 31:30Video: You don't need to go out into the deep water.
- 31:33Video: It's-- you're asking for trouble.
- 31:36Charles: Question.
- 31:37Charles: Did he fake it?
- 31:39Charles: (laughing)
- 31:42Chris: I mean. - It only pulled his can.
- 31:44Chris: Stranger things have happened.
- 31:46Charles: It only pulled his can.
- 31:48Nora: Yeah, which is the yellow, the bobber.
- 31:50Charles: Yeah, he pulled his bobber, didn't touch him at all.
- 31:55Charles: How convenient.
- 31:56Nora: How convenient. - Allegedly.
- 31:58Nora: Allegedly. - Allegedly.
- 32:00Chris: Hypothetically.
- 32:01Nora: Well, I mean, sharks are looking for something
- 32:03Nora: that tastes good and humans aren't really
- 32:05Nora: what they're looking for.
- 32:07Nora: So, the thing most-- - And he does not look
- 32:09Nora: Tastes good. They mostly do test bites is really what a great wine is gonna do with right you right and
- 32:16Nora: Maybe maybe a test bit the can
- 32:20Charles: And it was like black. Yeah, but why did it pull him underwater?
- 32:23Nora: Yeah, it's good question
- 32:25Nora: Good question
- 32:26Nora: Hmm, you're suspicious of the I'm suspicious
- 32:30Charles: I'm suspicious of the 71 year old lifeguard who does look like dog the bounty hunter
- 32:37Chris: He looks like a cross between Dog the Bounty Hunter
- 32:39Chris: and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
- 32:40Nora: (laughing)
- 32:42Nora: He's just like a true Maina, you know?
- 32:46Nora: (laughing)
- 32:48Nora: So you don't think it happened?
- 32:50Charles: I don't think it happened.
- 32:52Charles: Okay.
- 32:54Charles: Allegedly.
- 32:54Charles: Allegedly, no, I, my personal opinion
- 32:58Charles: is that I don't think it happened.
- 33:00Charles: My personal opinion.
- 33:01Charles: It didn't happen.
- 33:03Charles: Cool.
- 33:04Charles: My opinion.
- 33:05Nora: My opinion.
- 33:06Charles: Da, da, da, da, da.
- 33:08Nora: This is a dangerous camera to have.
- 33:12Charles: I'm gonna strip for this camera
- 33:13Charles: before the end of this episode.
- 33:14Nora: Yeah, 'cause that's what I said, it's dangerous.
- 33:18Nora: Gonna get us demonetized.
- 33:20Charles: I am going to show at least one nipple.
- 33:23Chris: Then the company will really have to
- 33:25Chris: hide your art forever, Charles.
- 33:27Chris: It's true.
- 33:29Nora: My next one.
- 33:30Charles: Okay, after that one, I wanna cut to
- 33:33Charles: what we just planned right before the show.
- 33:35Nora: Oh.
- 33:36Charles: some people to check in on but we'll and then we'll come back to it okay so my next guy uh well
- 33:41Nora: can we do it after the cucumber hat yeah let's do it okay okay okay so uh next guy this guy he is
- 33:47Nora: invading italy via the alps um by hannibal's route um and he is making a an elephant for his toddler
- 33:57Video: to ride it's day 81 of invading italy via hannibal barker's 218 bc route through the alps with an
- 34:03Video: an elephant puppet structured around a toddler carrier.
- 34:06Video: Today we-
- 34:07Video: Good job reading that all in one take.
- 34:10Video: --took on Colt Hommage, a 2,300 meter alpine pass.
- 34:14Video: General Hanna-Baby, in his infinite wisdom,
- 34:16Video: decided to spend the day strategizing with Grandma.
- 34:19Video: [LAUGHTER]
- 34:19Video: --Sgt.
- 34:20Video: Tudelu in his stead.
- 34:21Nora: He's going to have the kid with him.
- 34:22Video: --we started early in the morning, climbing up and up.
- 34:24Video: The gradient was relentless.
- 34:26Video: Sgt. Tudelu had to sing war songs to keep up morale.
- 34:29Video: But eventually, we made it up to the pass
- 34:31Video: and were greeted with panoramic views of the Kottian Mountains and even an AWOL soldier left by some other general.
- 34:37Video: We were on top of the world.
- 34:39Video: And I was thinking of Hannibal's original passage through these high mountains.
- 34:43Video: Here he encountered hostile bands of alabroges, who threw rocks down on the army from high ridges.
- 34:48Video: They dislodged boulders and ambushed the supply train on narrow paths, sending pack animals tumbling into ravines.
- 34:55Video: We encountered very little friction.
- 34:57Video: A few mounted scouts, curious sunbathing locals and one group of hollering alabroges, but
- 35:02Video: they were too distant to work out their true intent.
- 35:04Video: The real trouble came as we descended into the next valley.
- 35:07Video: There were streams to cross and rough sloping terrain that made Dido lose her footing.
- 35:12Nora: Oh no, the elephant slipped!
- 35:15Video: It would be funny if the kid moved.
- 35:17Video: Sorry.
- 35:20Video: But soon we sighted the Chateau de Queixas on the horizon and knew we were finished for
- 35:24Video: the day.
- 35:25Video: 18-kilometer march today puts us nearly at the halfway point. So we've won ourselves some time to work on the back legs tomorrow
- 35:31Nora: So that's fully fabricated out of like foam and like paint and everything. That's impressive
- 35:36Nora: And I'm just like amazed at that puppet like it's just that's eight and a half miles. Uh-huh
- 35:44Charles: Uh-huh in that outfit in one day. That's nutty. That's very
- 35:49Chris: He's doing some hiking. I mean with all that gear on that's a serious hike
- 35:53Charles: Like all that gear on and bring family along with them
- 35:58Nora: Uh-huh, but I think his family are kind of meeting him places. So are you really they're just people
- 36:03Nora: Yeah
- 36:05Nora: But yeah, he completely fabricated it for his hike through the Alps good for him. That's pretty cool
- 36:11Nora: Okay, the last one before we go into some of our
- 36:16Nora: Favorite weird little guys. This one is one that that Charles and I are familiar with but I don't know if Chris is familiar with
- 36:22Nora: So, um, Chris meet Xandiloquence Bizarre.
- 36:27Chris: Bless you.
- 36:27Chris: Hi, I'm Xandiloquence Bizarre the Abthird,
- 36:30Chris: and I'm on a mission to make the greatest
- 36:32Chris: cucumber hat ever.
- 36:34Chris: Let me know if this is it.
- 36:38Nora: Wow.
- 36:38Chris: Wait, is that every video?
- 36:40Chris: I think I have.
- 36:41Nora: He's made different ones.
- 36:42Charles: I like it like, I think I like it like this better,
- 36:45Charles: actually.
- 36:46Charles: He makes all of his hats directly from cucumber.
- 36:49Charles: Like, and you can eat it.
- 36:51Charles: (laughing)
- 36:55Nora: He is a dehydrator, so he like dehydrates the cucumbers
- 36:58Nora: and then makes the hat out of them.
- 37:00Nora: And this one is quite a robust hat.
- 37:03Charles: He sells a book on how to make your own cucumber hat.
- 37:06Nora: Yeah.
- 37:07Charles: Boy, I bet that's just flying off the shelves.
- 37:10Nora: I'm sure, he probably makes a living doing it.
- 37:12Nora: Do you really not wanna make a cucumber hat?
- 37:15Chris: I really don't, and I also don't wanna pay someone
- 37:19Chris: to tell me how to build a cucumber hat.
- 37:21Charles: What if we did it on the show?
- 37:23Nora: (laughing)
- 37:25Charles: No.
- 37:26Charles: (laughing)
- 37:26Charles: Okay.
- 37:28Charles: I'm gonna jump in here and take the show away from you
- 37:32Charles: 'cause I know you got a lot of people,
- 37:33Charles: but I wanna check in.
- 37:34Nora: I've got like three more.
- 37:35Charles: Okay, so we'll jump in and take a look real quick.
- 37:41Charles: And we haven't watched any of these videos yet.
- 37:44Charles: We're gonna check in with three,
- 37:47Charles: count 'em three, of our favorite weird little guys.
- 37:51Chris: To be clear, when he says our, he's not talking about me.
- 37:54Nora: Yeah, we're talking about these.
- 37:56Nora: These two people sitting right here.
- 37:57Charles: There is one, okay, Chris, do you wanna start it off
- 38:01Charles: with one that you like, or end with one that you like?
- 38:04Chris: I don't like any of them, so it doesn't matter.
- 38:06Charles: Wait, you mentioned the first one.
- 38:10Charles: You were like, what's going on with that guy?
- 38:14Chris: Sure, start with him.
- 38:15Chris: Okay, so first-
- 38:17Chris: That was so long ago, I don't remember what I said,
- 38:18Chris: but go for it.
- 38:19Charles: So we're gonna check in on Fist of the Dog Medicine.
- 38:23Charles: This is a guy who has used dog medicine on his hands
- 38:29Charles: for a period of time and is now,
- 38:33Charles: most recently has acquired telepathic abilities
- 38:37Charles: to levitate objects and start fires with his fingers.
- 38:41Charles: Allegedly. - Allegedly.
- 38:44Charles: So we're going to watch what he's up to now.
- 38:55Chris: And this is the most recent of his striking a bucket of concrete, right?
- 38:59Chris: So he's eight days in.
- 39:01Charles: He's eight days in and he's from 2020.
- 39:03Charles: He's breaking them apart like this is old, though.
- 39:06Nora: Hold on. What's the last one?
- 39:08Charles: This is just a he keeps.
- 39:11Nora: Is he really doing new stuff if he keeps reposting all of these?
- 39:16Chris: My guess is no.
- 39:18Nora: Is he's?
- 39:22Nora: Oh, this one's new.
- 39:24Charles: Breaking open a safe with his bare hands.
- 39:33Chris: This comment doesn't seem to be going so well.
- 39:39Charles: Just imagining this guy in a bank robbery crew.
- 39:43Charles: He gets to the vault and this is safecracker's
- 39:45Charles: trying to twerk his magic and he starts wailing
- 39:47Charles: on the sink barehanded for like 10 minutes.
- 39:49Chris: Yeah, and like the alarm expert's like,
- 39:52Chris: man, who hired this guy?
- 39:54Nora: He's a long time.
- 39:55Charles: Is Fist of the Dog Medicine
- 39:56Charles: returning in Avengers Doomsday?
- 39:59Charles: (laughing)
- 40:02Nora: Slap boxing.
- 40:02Charles: Yeah, this guy needs to do the power slap.
- 40:05Nora: Yeah.
- 40:05Chris: He does.
- 40:06Nora: I think he-
- 40:07Chris: Oh my God, if he did power slap, he would kill people.
- 40:09Nora: Yeah.
- 40:12Chris: Just not the safe.
- 40:13Nora: Have you guys, I heard that chess boxing is a thing.
- 40:15Nora: Have you guys heard of chess boxing?
- 40:18Charles: Where they box and they play chess at the same time.
- 40:20Charles: Yeah.
- 40:22Charles: Wow.
- 40:23Chris: Okay.
- 40:24Chris: Save that for our next installment of Sports Like Things.
- 40:28Nora: Sports Like Things?
- 40:28Chris: Yeah.
- 40:29Nora: Yeah.
- 40:30Charles: Pickleball training?
- 40:31Charles: What is?
- 40:33Charles: (laughing)
- 40:35Charles: Why does he have a vacuum that's also carrying swords?
- 40:41Charles: What is happening?
- 40:42Nora: He's a seer, he has a CPAP on his head.
- 40:45Charles: He's got CPAP?
- 40:46Charles: Oh God, it went away.
- 40:48Charles: He's got a meta quest, he's got a sword with a gun handle
- 40:55Charles: and some kind of wooden bat maybe
- 40:58Charles: that's attached to a vacuum.
- 41:00Charles: This guy is losing it.
- 41:03Chris: He has made his hands so tough and hard
- 41:06Chris: that he has detached from all reality.
- 41:09Charles: Look what he's doing though.
- 41:13Nora: I think he has something under it.
- 41:15Nora: I think he has something under it.
- 41:17Chris: Small spheres, like he's fucking Dr. Strange.
- 41:21Nora: I think he has something under it.
- 41:22Chris: Look at his fucking knuckles.
- 41:24Nora: Oh, ew.
- 41:27Chris: So gnarly.
- 41:31Nora: (laughing)
- 41:38Charles: God. - Ew.
- 41:40Charles: Man.
- 41:41Charles: All right, who do we got next?
- 41:41Charles: Who do you wanna do next?
- 41:44Nora: Let's, how is my dear Squirrel King Jack?
- 41:48Charles: Let's find out.
- 41:49Charles: I love this outfit of his.
- 41:51Charles: He's kinda fly. - Okay, let's.
- 41:55Video: All right, so let's hope the helicopter doesn't intrude.
- 42:00Charles: Got turned it up.
- 42:01Charles: Got turned it up.
- 42:02Nora: What's it called?
- 42:02Nora: What's the word for it?
- 42:03Video: Ain't no like ain't no somebody
- 42:06Video: bumping stupid music.
- 42:09Video: All right, so let's hope the helicopter doesn't intrude.
- 42:13Charles: OK, so he got interrupted.
- 42:15Video: All right.
- 42:16Video: Third time's a charm.
- 42:17Video: All right.
- 42:18Video: Fit check.
- 42:19Video: Without interruptions.
- 42:22Video: OK.
- 42:24Video: Wow.
- 42:25Video: Wow.
- 42:25Video: Wow.
- 42:26Nora: Wow.
- 42:26Nora: Why is that?
- 42:27Video: OK, so these are some Tim's Timberland boots
- 42:32Video: at the Prada belt Louis Vuitton scarf.
- 42:35Video: I still don't remember who makes these pants.
- 42:38Video: Can't remember who makes this shirt.
- 42:39Video: But our track.
- 42:41Charles: Wait, hold on. He's in the Star Trek.
- 42:43Nora: We see a little Star Trek pin on his chest.
- 42:45Video: It's under its mom's side.
- 42:47Video: Jackie, this is a shirt.
- 42:50Video: I got this pin from the.
- 42:53Video: Where did I get this pin?
- 42:55Video: I got this pin from.
- 42:57Chris: OK, I am now more convinced than ever that that voice is fake.
- 43:10Video: Yeah, great.
- 43:12Video: This is great.
- 43:13Charles: This is great content.
- 43:14Video: Oh, yeah.
- 43:16Nora: We're we're on fire today.
- 43:17Video: I cannot pronounce the name, so don't ask me to.
- 43:23Nora: Oh.
- 43:25Video: Feels and looks.
- 43:27Nora: No, you're missing the best part!
- 43:30Video: I have a lot of wardrobe.
- 43:33Chris: I wouldn't say I was missing it, Bob.
- 43:35Chris: I mean, I don't know what it's called.
- 43:39Chris: Not wardrobe.
- 43:40Nora: This is great.
- 43:41Nora: I gotta stop.
- 43:42Nora: God damn, how long is this?
- 43:43Nora: Riveting content.
- 43:44Charles: So.
- 43:45Nora: I did miss him.
- 43:47Nora: I'm glad to know that he's still kicking
- 43:49Nora: and still posting weird little guy stuff.
- 43:53Charles: But he's getting so few views.
- 43:55Charles: I feel so bad for him because he was doing so well for a little bit there and now he's
- 44:00Charles: just well I mean to be fair this is my this is my general critique of Squirrel King Jack
- 44:06Charles: his content is no longer interesting when he's just doing I don't I haven't got this
- 44:12Nora: shirt from a store don't make me name that yeah no you're right he needs to go hang out
- 44:18Video: with the squirrels more I don't remember where I got this I don't remember where I got my
- 44:22Nora: pants. I don't remember. Don't ask me about my boots. I don't even know. Those were Timberlands.
- 44:30Nora: Don't even you fucking dare ask about my glasses. My dumb shit was never interesting. Oh. The
- 44:39Charles: squirrels were good. The squirrels were good. Feeding the squirrels chips ahoy cookies is
- 44:44Nora: not interesting. That's incredibly interesting. I also really did love his political stance.
- 44:50Nora: is like, you guys gotta be nicer to each other.
- 44:54Nora: (laughing)
- 44:56Nora: I don't like talking about politics, but you know what?
- 45:00Nora: Why don't we all just get along?
- 45:03Nora: (laughing)
- 45:05Chris: In better news, I can order this hat
- 45:10Chris: entirely out of dried cucumber book
- 45:11Chris: and get it on my birthday.
- 45:13Chris: Yes! - Oh my gosh.
- 45:15Chris: What a birthday gift.
- 45:15Chris: This is book two, too. - So that's exciting.
- 45:17Chris: And apparently this is book two in a three book series.
- 45:23Chris: And he's charging 1499 or 1399 for it.
- 45:28Chris: That's fucking wild.
- 45:31Nora: And you have to buy all three to be able to know how to make a book.
- 45:36Chris: I guess I don't know.
- 45:41Chris: Each book, you have to be willing to spend 36 dollars to be able to do this.
- 45:46Nora: To know how to make what?
- 45:49Charles: Squirrel King Jack writes music.
- 45:52Nora: Oh, I'm sure it's a singer, songwriter and dancer.
- 45:55Charles: I'm sure it's just as scintillating as his other videos.
- 45:58Nora: You're gonna have to bring us some music next week.
- 45:59Charles: We have to do some research because the last musician that we found,
- 46:04Charles: Evil Reverend Jim, was kind of a banger.
- 46:08Nora: And he is now like literally our intro music.
- 46:11Charles: In an odd way. Yes. Yeah.
- 46:13Charles: Yes. So and...
- 46:14Nora: I'm a no-co-mo-fo.
- 46:16Nora: (laughing)
- 46:17Charles: Everyone thinks I'm loco.
- 46:18Charles: Everyone knows I'm loco.
- 46:20Nora: I'm a no-co-mo-fo.
- 46:21Charles: So I'm gonna try to find some Squirrel King Jack music,
- 46:23Charles: bring it to the show next week,
- 46:25Charles: because holy crap, I wanna hear-
- 46:28Nora: I wanna hear what you-
- 46:29Charles: Oh my love, my darling.
- 46:35Nora: Or Chris will be right, and the voice will be a bit.
- 46:39Nora: It'll be-
- 46:40Chris: The voice is 100% a bit.
- 46:42Chris: Also, check out this review.
- 46:44Chris: Perhaps the most important book of the trilogy.
- 46:47Chris: There's a trilogy?
- 46:48Chris: You missed this.
- 46:49Chris: Of this book series.
- 46:51Chris: At first I was like,
- 46:52Chris: oh, do I really need the second book of the trilogy?
- 46:54Chris: Can't I just buy the first and third and be okay with it?
- 46:57Chris: Oh boy, what would I have missed
- 47:00Chris: if I had made this awful decision?
- 47:01Chris: The second book is centered around important details
- 47:04Chris: about how to make a hat entirely out of dried cucumber
- 47:06Chris: that if you miss it, could ruin your whole experience.
- 47:10Chris: 100% would buy again.
- 47:13Nora: And the next one says, "I no longer suffer."
- 47:14Chris: Yeah, thank you, cucumber book.
- 47:17Nora: "I no longer suffer."
- 47:20Chris: These are verified purchases, too.
- 47:22Chris: That's people who actually spent money on this.
- 47:24Chris: These are, assuming, members of his family
- 47:27Chris: that actually paid money for it.
- 47:30Nora: Or internet people who are in it for the bit,
- 47:32Nora: because there's a lot of people who are in it for the bit.
- 47:35Chris: Oh, wait, scandalous.
- 47:36Chris: It's a joke, literally a joke in book form.
- 47:39Chris: He never tells you how to make a cucumber hat.
- 47:42Chris: That's the joke.
- 47:45Chris: What?
- 47:46Nora: I think we need to buy the books now.
- 47:47Chris: Which one person found helpful?
- 47:49Charles: Should we do this as our next book in the book club?
- 47:52Nora: But we need all three of them,
- 47:54Nora: like we can't just buy one of them.
- 47:55Charles: Is there an audio book version of this for you?
- 47:58Chris: What's hilarious is they're only on paperback,
- 48:01Chris: there's not even like a Kindle version,
- 48:03Chris: like what the hell man?
- 48:04Chris: I bet we can find a PDF somewhere.
- 48:06Chris: Somebody's gotta scan this.
- 48:08Chris: You think somebody spent time
- 48:09Chris: to scan the Cucumberhead book?
- 48:12Nora: You never know, Chris.
- 48:13Nora: You never know.
- 48:16Charles: Oh man.
- 48:17Charles: Catchphrase guy, catchphrase guy, catchphrase guy,
- 48:21Charles: catchphrase guy, catchphrase guy.
- 48:23Charles: Cue it up, Charles.
- 48:24Charles: All right, we're gonna watch his most recent video,
- 48:26Charles: see what new catchphrases he's got,
- 48:28Charles: see if he's got any new ones.
- 48:31Video: I'm the guy that makes those popular catchphrases.
- 48:33Video: Here's something you can sing on the daily.
- 48:35Video: It's all about the bubbles.
- 48:37Video: Hello, potato.
- 48:39Video: Fork it 'til you john-pocket.
- 48:41Video: You can sponge by my door knob.
- 48:43Video: (laughing)
- 48:44Video: Hold on.
- 48:45Nora: You can fork it till you John Pork-it?
- 48:47Nora: Oh my God!
- 48:49Charles: You can fork it till you John Pork-it.
- 48:54Chris: Okay.
- 48:54Chris: Why is this so sexual?
- 48:56Chris: I mean this from the bottom of my heart.
- 48:59Chris: This guy needs help.
- 49:00Chris: (laughing)
- 49:03Nora: You can fork it till you John Pork-it.
- 49:05Chris: You can sponge by my door knob.
- 49:07Chris: I don't think he's well.
- 49:09Video: Show me your skunky monkey.
- 49:11Video: (Kristen laughs)
- 49:12Video: No.
- 49:14Video: What did I say, Chris?
- 49:16Speaker 11: Did you hear that?
- 49:17Video: I heard it.
- 49:18Video: Darn knob.
- 49:19Video: Show me your skunky monkey.
- 49:21Video: No.
- 49:22Video: What is going on?
- 49:24Nora: We did not watch these videos before.
- 49:28Chris: I told you when you found out
- 49:30Chris: that this guy was from Australia,
- 49:31Chris: it's a nation of criminals and they are not to be trusted.
- 49:34Chris: (Kristen laughs)
- 49:36Video: What in the wonker woo?
- 49:38Video: That's how you mop it a trumpet
- 50:08Nora: Don't say that! - No!
- 50:10Nora: For legal reasons, that's a joke.
- 50:11Nora: That's all I've been watching on YouTube, Chris.
- 50:14Nora: I just want one good catchphrase, guy.
- 50:18Charles: You're a proper little lobster, Chris.
- 50:21Video: Lobster, the beard made it weird.
- 50:23Video: It's true.
- 50:24Video: Shrek it for your breakfast.
- 50:27Chris: This guy's a fucking moron.
- 50:30Chris: God, I hate him so much.
- 50:32Video: Your porridge and I'm the sausage.
- 50:35Video: Use these catchphrases on the daily and it's okay,
- 50:37Video: 'Cause I'm just a regular guy.
- 50:43Chris: Shut the fuck up, guys.
- 50:50Nora: So,
- 50:51Nora: Fork will tell you John Park it.
- 50:53Charles: Apparently.
- 50:53Charles: I will not thank you.
- 50:55Charles: Apparently he also has a cameo
- 50:59Charles: that I was thinking,
- 51:01Charles: select an occasion,
- 51:02Charles: it is somebody's birthday.
- 51:05Charles: (laughing)
- 51:07Charles: for the person who has everything.
- 51:11Charles: Who is this from?
- 51:12Charles: This is from Charles.
- 51:14Charles: Directions, can you do,
- 51:16Charles: can you do catch phrases
- 51:20Charles: based on the name Chris?
- 51:24Charles: Oh, goddammit.
- 51:25Charles: (laughing)
- 51:28Charles: Charles, you're fired.
- 51:31Charles: Birthday is the 17th, right?
- 51:34Charles: Yeah.
- 51:37Nora: You can't avoid it, Chris.
- 51:40Nora: This is happening.
- 51:41Nora: Chris, how old are you turning?
- 51:44Chris: What am I even doing with my life, y'all?
- 51:47Chris: How old are you?
- 51:50Charles: I'm old enough to know better.
- 51:53Charles: No, it doesn't allow me to add that.
- 51:55Nora: Optional, it's okay.
- 51:56Charles: Hide this video from Anthony Spryce profile.
- 51:59Charles: Oh no.
- 51:59Nora: No, he can post it.
- 52:01Charles: He can post this.
- 52:02Charles: He can post this.
- 52:03Chris: He can post it.
- 52:04Chris: He can also not send it to us.
- 52:07Nora: Oh no, he's sending it directly to Charles.
- 52:09Charles: He's sending it to me,
- 52:10Charles: and he's got a 24 hour turnaround.
- 52:13Charles: So, okay, don't touch my screen.
- 52:15Chris: So what you're saying is I have 23 hours to kill him.
- 52:19Chris: Yeah, good luck.
- 52:20Chris: You gotta find him quick, Chris.
- 52:21Nora: I don't think that you can get on an airplane
- 52:24Nora: and do it in enough time.
- 52:26Chris: I've got people in Australia.
- 52:29Chris: Probably.
- 52:31Charles: Allegedly.
- 52:32Charles: 24 hours, seven day delivery, no.
- 52:38Chris: Let's look at Charles's credit card
- 52:41Charles: Well, yeah, let's look at my credit card information. Yeah, no, it's it's an additional

- 52:54Nora: So we yeah, we do need it before our next week show, right?

- 1:10:25Charles: Right, you knew that they were a murderer
- 1:10:29Charles: How would you deal with that situation? I?
- 1:10:33Charles: I would call the police.
- 1:10:35Charles: Mm, nice.
- 1:10:37Charles: And if you were to, this is a completely separate,
- 1:10:40Charles: the separate conversation.
- 1:10:42Charles: You were handed four different ice cream cones.
- 1:10:46Charles: How would you go about holding them and eating them?
- 1:10:53Chris: I think I would pick the one I like the most and eat that.
- 1:10:58Nora: And just throw the ice cream.
- 1:10:58Chris: No, but you have to hold all four ice cream cones.
- 1:11:01Chris: I can't possibly hold all four.
- 1:11:04Nora: Like you would never be able to do that?
- 1:11:08Charles: But you have to, like if you have to do it.
- 1:11:10Charles: Is there a gun to my head?
- 1:11:11Charles: Yes, there's a gun to your head
- 1:11:13Charles: and you have to hold four ice cream cones.
- 1:11:15Charles: How do you hold four ice cream cones
- 1:11:16Charles: and how do you eat them?
- 1:11:20Charles: I guess I would just be shot.
- 1:11:23Charles: You are ruining this content.
- 1:11:25Nora: Okay, so here's what I would do.
- 1:11:26Nora: Play in this space with me.
- 1:11:28Nora: I take them like this and probably like,
- 1:11:32Nora: probably like one and then two and then three and then four.
- 1:11:34Nora: Wait, is this what you want, Charles?
- 1:11:36Charles: Is this what you want?
- 1:11:37Charles: No, that's not what I want.
- 1:11:38Charles: I just wanna know, yeah, Nora, go ahead.
- 1:11:41Nora: And one and then two and then three and then four
- 1:11:44Nora: and then back over here to one and then two
- 1:11:47Nora: and then three and then four.
- 1:11:48Chris: Look, whatever sick bastard is holding a gun to my head
- 1:11:51Chris: to try to force me to do that like a trained seal,
- 1:11:54Chris: I'm sorry, they're just not gonna get
- 1:11:55Chris: what they're looking for.
- 1:11:56Chris: Wow.
- 1:11:57Charles: This content was brought to us by an audience member, Olivia.
- 1:12:01Charles: Thank you, Olivia, for watching this and sending this over to me.
- 1:12:04Charles: I really, truly appreciate you and appreciate this.
- 1:12:08Charles: But this is how some of those were answered.
- 1:12:12Video: I asked my boss what he would do if four really good-looking firemen came in here.
- 1:12:16Video: You did not! Shut the f*** up!
- 1:12:19Video: Shut up! Tell the truth!
- 1:12:22Video: You're fired!
- 1:12:23Video: Four at a time?
- 1:12:25Video: Light work.
- 1:12:26Video: I could do four at a time.
- 1:12:26Video: I could do two in each hand, but it'd probably be easier
- 1:12:29Video: if I did one in each hand.
- 1:12:30Video: And you lick the top, eat the whole thing, other one.
- 1:12:33Video: Then grab the other two and do it.
- 1:12:35Video: Lick, eat, four done.
- 1:12:38Video: I don't know how long it would take me, but I could do it.
- 1:12:41Video: [LAUGHTER]
- 1:12:42Nora: I love his reaction.
- 1:12:44Nora: Like, no, you're lying.
- 1:12:47Nora: You're lying.
- 1:12:47Nora: Tell the truth.
- 1:12:48Nora: You're fired.
- 1:12:49Nora: [LAUGHTER]
- 1:12:51Charles: All right, let's keep it going.
- 1:12:52Charles: Keep it going.
- 1:12:54Charles: I just got done asking Mark what he would do
- 1:12:56Charles: if 10 really good looking firemen came into his office.
- 1:12:59Charles: Dude, that's not what you put.
- 1:13:02Video: I don't know, I mean 10?
- 1:13:03Video: Yeah, I can handle 10.
- 1:13:04Video: Like, I guess you just grab two at a time really fast,
- 1:13:08Video: get it down, 'cause you gotta deal with like,
- 1:13:10Video: you know, dripping, so you gotta get underneath that.
- 1:13:13Video: Grab the next two, maybe even four.
- 1:13:15Video: If I could fit four in my hand.
- 1:13:17Video: Yeah, I could take four, I would say, probably four.
- 1:13:20Video: So that's six right there.
- 1:13:21Charles: Yeah he can.
- 1:13:22Video: I would take it down easy.
- 1:13:24Nora: He'd take it down easy.
- 1:13:25Charles: This one's a different question.
- 1:13:26Charles: This one's a different question.
- 1:13:28Nora: Today I just asked my boyfriend what he would do
- 1:13:30Nora: if Megan Thee Stallion was in front of him.
- 1:13:32Nora: What?
- 1:13:34Nora: Man.
- 1:13:35Nora: Like, go off like a pig?
- 1:13:37Nora: (laughing)
- 1:13:39Nora: With a mustache, that would be bad.
- 1:13:42Nora: (laughing)
- 1:13:44Nora: It'd be yummy probably.
- 1:13:47Nora: (laughing)
- 1:13:47Nora: What was that question?
- 1:13:49Chris: Yeah, what was that actual question?
- 1:13:51Nora: No, that's the thing I need to know what the actual question exactly yeah, oh
- 1:14:00Charles: That's it for around the net folks. I think now is a good time for us to jump in you know what I'm gonna
- 1:14:06Charles: I'm gonna do it this way. I'm gonna real quick. Give me a few seconds. Mm-hmm can somebody
- 1:14:14Charles: Just fill the dead air real quick
- 1:14:43Chris: (humming)
- 1:14:44Nora: So you know when you create your TikTok,
- 1:14:48Nora: it adds a song to it.
- 1:14:49Nora: Try to see if there's a pen hole.
- 1:14:51Nora: And then it makes it too loud.
- 1:14:52Nora: But basically, one of the pumpkins
- 1:14:54Nora: has basically stopped growing.
- 1:14:56Nora: She's at the end of her season, which is really sad.
- 1:14:59Chris: Speaking of really sad, check out that music track.
- 1:15:03Chris: Bump it up a little bit.
- 1:15:07Charles: Nora, what's Loudspeaker?
- 1:15:09Nora: Ooh, good question, Charles.
- 1:15:11Charles: Thank you.
- 1:15:11Nora: Loudspeaker is a not-for-profit radio station and studio in Northern Colorado.
- 1:15:19Nora: If you're looking for a new place to get your music, you need to look no further than loudspeaker.org.
- 1:15:28Nora: We have six stations, starting with Loudspeaker One Indie Music. That's my personal favorite.
- 1:15:35Nora: We have Colorado Music and Colorado Radio.
- 1:15:37Nora: We have the radio remix, so talk radio,
- 1:15:41Nora: the Riot, Radio With Pride, Cafe 80s,
- 1:15:44Nora: and Revolution 6, because the 60s were a crazy time for music.
- 1:15:49Nora: Right now, you can see what's playing on the Riot.
- 1:15:53Nora: You can also go to all of our shows.
- 1:15:56Nora: You can listen to them online anytime you want.
- 1:16:00Nora: Or, you can also download the app
- 1:16:03Nora: and listen to the radio shows there.
- 1:16:08Nora: But we have a bunch of really great shows for you,
- 1:16:12Nora: like ours, Vibeshack Live,
- 1:16:15Nora: where you can go into each of the pages
- 1:16:19Nora: and see all of our details about all the things we do,
- 1:16:24Nora: and even click on us,
- 1:16:26Nora: and you can see what else we're involved in.
- 1:16:29Nora: I only do this. [laughs]
- 1:16:32Nora: But we have a great lineup of music.
- 1:16:37Nora: It is not algorithm based,
- 1:16:40Nora: so the music is brought to you by real people.
- 1:16:43Nora: We pay per play.
- 1:16:46Nora: And I'm always finding new things to listen to
- 1:16:48Nora: when I'm listening to loudspeaker.
- 1:16:53Nora: So go to our website, check it out.
- 1:16:56Nora: And since we are not for profit,
- 1:16:58Nora: we're sponsored by people like you,
- 1:17:00Nora: all of our wonderful listeners.
- 1:17:02Nora: So with that being said, if you love us,
- 1:17:07Nora: you should make a tax-deductible donation.
- 1:17:09Nora: Drop it off at that right-hand corner.
- 1:17:13Nora: And you could even do a monthly donation.
- 1:17:18Nora: We love our listeners, we love you, and we love music.
- 1:17:24Nora: So make sure you listen to Loudspeaker, it's great.
- 1:17:28Nora: And it's on CarPlay, and there's an app.
- 1:17:30Nora: So do it.
- 1:17:32Nora: There's nothing stopping you.
- 1:17:33Charles: Chris, real quick question for you.
- 1:17:37Charles: Do you sometimes talk too loudly or softly
- 1:17:39Charles: and don't realize it?
- 1:17:42Charles: No.
- 1:17:43Charles: Okay, never true.
- 1:17:47Charles: I often don't know how to act in social situations.
- 1:17:51Charles: On a scale of one to five, how do you feel about that?
- 1:17:58Charles: Three.
- 1:17:59Charles: Cool. Cool. I'm we're getting we're getting through this. We're gonna have we're gonna have a reds arm. So
- 1:18:06Charles: Chris do you want to do yours first? Or do you want to do mine? Let's do yours first. Cool. So I
- 1:18:13Charles: Saw this video I've watched it in its entirety. It is five minutes long. So there's a longer video for for us
- 1:18:19Charles: however
- 1:18:21Charles: This is a guy very specifically. This is a lawyer
- 1:18:24Charles: Telling you the steps of how you can be untraceable on the Internet
- 1:18:29Nora: Ooh, that's important.
- 1:18:30Charles: Yeah, so like, if you're out somewhere
- 1:18:34Charles: and you don't wanna be found by anybody,
- 1:18:38Charles: this is how you have to go about doing it,
- 1:18:40Charles: like the steps to go about doing it.
- 1:18:42Charles: Charles, why might someone want
- 1:18:44Charles: to be untraceable on the internet?
- 1:18:46Charles: Safety purposes.
- 1:18:47Charles: Starting a new life.
- 1:18:48Charles: Starting a new life.
- 1:18:50Charles: If you-
- 1:18:50Charles: Going missing.
- 1:18:51Charles: You're in the witness protection program.
- 1:18:53Charles: Right, right, you know, there are some-
- 1:18:56Charles: If you testified against drug dealers
- 1:18:58Charles: You're afraid they'll find you right there's some nefarious things, but we don't need to mention those necessarily
- 1:19:03Charles: But I think that there are some valid reasons why you would or if you make a movie with obscenity in it. Yeah
- 1:19:10Nora: Hypothetically hypothetically
- 1:19:12Charles: so I'm thinking we'll just like stop after each thing and
- 1:19:17Charles: Talk about it, but there are some some
- 1:19:21Charles: Some do's and don'ts flare in this video. I'm really excited for how to be untraceable on the internet spoiler
- 1:19:26Video: It's basically impossible, but it's a fun thought experiment for supporters of privacy rights
- 1:19:31Video: So first you're gonna need a device to browse the web with let's call it the burner phone
- 1:19:35Video: You gotta buy it with cash. No credit card. No debit card
- 1:19:39Video: No email receipt and you think you'd be in the clear, right?
- 1:19:42Video: Not really because cash doesn't erase that the event happened
- 1:19:45Video: It just shifts to where you got to look for evidence. The trail is at the store you buy
- 1:19:49Chris: That's why I pay a hobo to buy all of my he talks about he talks about this like actually paying like a like a homeless
- 1:19:55Charles: person for doing this kind of work.
- 1:19:58Charles: The phone from.
- 1:19:59Video: The burner phone has a serial number.
- 1:20:01Video: The store has inventory records for that phone
- 1:20:04Video: with that serial number.
- 1:20:05Video: The cash register then has a time stamp
- 1:20:07Video: of when that phone was bought.
- 1:20:09Video: So if someone wanted to check the surveillance footage
- 1:20:11Video: for an item sold at register three at 2.14 p.m.
- 1:20:15Video: it wouldn't be too hard to link you to the phone.
- 1:20:18Video: So surveillance footage could be pulled
- 1:20:19Video: to show you standing there buying it.
- 1:20:21Video: Boom, not anonymous anymore,
- 1:20:22Video: browsing on your new burner phone.
- 1:20:24Video: So what to do?
- 1:20:25Video: you'd have to go through the ridiculous lengths
- 1:20:26Video: of having a random person who could never identify you
- 1:20:30Video: buy that particular phone for you, or you'd-
- 1:20:32Video: But only that person is shown in that photo.
- 1:20:34Video: Have to wear a disguise.
- 1:20:35Video: Those 15% of you who made it past the first 30 seconds,
- 1:20:39Video: stay tuned, I have a special treat for now
- 1:20:41Video: as a thanks for your attention.
- 1:20:43Video: (humming)
- 1:20:48Video: Nice.
- 1:20:53Video: [BEATBOXING]
- 1:20:55Video: I want this guy to be my lawyer.
- 1:20:58Video: [BEATBOXING]
- 1:21:00Video: OK, next off, you can never even power on the burner phone
- 1:21:03Video: near any real electronic devices that you typically
- 1:21:06Video: use inside of your home.
- 1:21:08Video: Some phones have pinpoint GPS data
- 1:21:10Video: to map your exact location.
- 1:21:11Video: The system may not know who owns the burner phone yet,
- 1:21:14Video: but if it can say this unknown device keeps appearing
- 1:21:17Video: geographically near this known person's typical phone,
- 1:21:21Video: then you're in trouble.
- 1:21:22Charles: Yeah, I feel like, real quick, on my end,
- 1:21:25Charles: if I were to connect it to my own Wi-Fi,
- 1:21:30Charles: the bootylicious boys, I do feel like
- 1:21:33Charles: I would be found out pretty quickly.
- 1:21:36Nora: Bootylicious busted.
- 1:21:38Nora: (laughing)
- 1:21:39Chris: Booty busted, not the last time.
- 1:21:42Video: Through some person who's trying to surveil you,
- 1:21:44Video: or the government, or service providers.
- 1:21:47Video: So you activate the phone only far
- 1:21:49Video: from your real phone in your house.
- 1:21:51Video: You think, I didn't give my name, so I'm fine.
- 1:21:54Video: But the system still sees the SIM card, the device ID,
- 1:21:57Video: the time, the network, the first place it connected,
- 1:21:59Video: maybe the IP address used during activation.
- 1:22:01Video: That becomes kind of a birth certificate
- 1:22:03Video: from the phone, which could be connected to you
- 1:22:05Video: if you're not careful.
- 1:22:06Video: So now you use the device.
- 1:22:08Video: You turn off location services immediately.
- 1:22:10Video: But that just stops the phone from politely telling apps
- 1:22:13Video: where it is through GPS.
- 1:22:15Video: The phone still talks to cell towers.
- 1:22:17Video: It still sees Wi-Fi networks around it.
- 1:22:19Video: It still has Bluetooth apps that can
- 1:22:22Video: infer location tangentially.
- 1:22:24Video: A phone is basically a location-emitting object
- 1:22:26Video: by design.
- 1:22:27Video: So you definitely can't use home Wi-Fi,
- 1:22:29Video: because then it could be associated with you.
- 1:22:31Video: But it's bigger than that.
- 1:22:32Video: You can't use office Wi-Fi, gym Wi-Fi,
- 1:22:36Video: Wi-Fi at your favorite coffee shop, your friend's router.
- 1:22:39Video: Even the surrounding networks become kind of a habitat
- 1:22:43Video: for identifying you.
- 1:22:44Video: Devices don't need to say your name
- 1:22:46Video: if they keep showing up in the place where you show up.
- 1:22:49Video: Remember, surveillance footage can-
- 1:22:50Charles: Now, question, question, let's pause it here.
- 1:22:52Charles: Is he going to beatbox again?
- 1:22:55Nora: I hope so.
- 1:22:56Charles: I'd say it's more likely than not.
- 1:22:59Charles: More likely than not, okay.
- 1:23:00Charles: I'm very interested, like I was like,
- 1:23:03Charles: at this point I was like, I need a new hit.
- 1:23:07Charles: I need a new hit.
- 1:23:08Nora: The pictures are helping though.
- 1:23:09Charles: Yes, 100%.
- 1:23:11Video: Also, he's got lovely eyes.
- 1:23:13Nora: He does have lovely eyes.
- 1:23:14Video: to cross-reference your device's presence
- 1:23:16Video: within a Wi-Fi network to your physical on-camera location
- 1:23:19Video: at the same place.
- 1:23:20Video: So next you might add a VPN,
- 1:23:22Video: and a lot of people think a VPN means invisibility.
- 1:23:24Video: It doesn't.
- 1:23:25Video: A VPN is basically a tunnel.
- 1:23:27Video: Your internet traffic goes from your device
- 1:23:29Video: to the VPN company first,
- 1:23:31Video: and then the VPN company routes you to the website
- 1:23:33Video: from their server.
- 1:23:34Video: So the website may see the VPN's IP address
- 1:23:37Video: instead of your own,
- 1:23:37Video: but now you're trusting the VPN company.
- 1:23:40Video: If they keep logs of who's connecting with it,
- 1:23:42Video: they may be able to connect your burner phone
- 1:23:44Video: to your online activity.
- 1:23:45Video: That's not cool.
- 1:23:46Video: And some VPN companies are shady, vague, foreign,
- 1:23:48Video: or cheap, built around marketing more than privacy.
- 1:23:51Charles: So they could technically out you-
- 1:23:52Charles: Right, so here's the thing about VPNs.
- 1:23:54Charles: They're pretty easy to set up, right?
- 1:23:57Charles: And it's pretty inexpensive to set these up.
- 1:24:00Nora: Especially for a private company,
- 1:24:01Nora: you have to trust them.
- 1:24:03Charles: Right. - Right.
- 1:24:04Charles: So a lot of these companies, like you were saying,
- 1:24:06Charles: it's all marketing-based,
- 1:24:08Charles: because it's so easy to set up a VPN company
- 1:24:12Charles: that it's just like-
- 1:24:14Chris: Yeah, all you really need is a computer
- 1:24:16Chris: in the cloud somewhere and bandwidth
- 1:24:19Chris: and you can set up your own VPN
- 1:24:22Chris: and start selling your own VPN.
- 1:24:23Chris: Some of these companies do provide audit compliance
- 1:24:29Chris: for their logs to show that they don't save certain data,
- 1:24:34Chris: but again, a lot of times you have to take their word for it.
- 1:24:37Charles: Right, but also like, if you were to truly be like,
- 1:24:41Charles: you're going through a VPN,
- 1:24:43Charles: to make it yourself completely anonymous,
- 1:24:45Charles: you'd have to pay like cash with these companies,
- 1:24:48Charles: which does any of these companies take cash?
- 1:24:51Chris: No, but several of them do take cryptocurrency.
- 1:24:54Charles: Okay, so that could work.
- 1:24:57Chris: So you could obfuscate somewhat.
- 1:24:59Charles: Right.
- 1:25:00Chris: But yeah, I mean, at the end of the day,
- 1:25:02Chris: like, unless you are the most paranoid,
- 1:25:05Chris: most careful person on the planet,
- 1:25:08Chris: chances are you're gonna do something
- 1:25:09Chris: that someone can link back to you.
- 1:25:11Chris: Right, right, 100%.
- 1:25:13Video: Or whoever's looking for you.
- 1:25:15Video: You basically moved your trust from an internet provider
- 1:25:19Video: to a company with a cool logo
- 1:25:20Video: and a promise that they'd never identify you.
- 1:25:22Video: And even if the IP address problem
- 1:25:24Video: is handled well by the VPN company,
- 1:25:26Video: identity leaks elsewhere too.
- 1:25:29Video: The second you log into your real Gmail,
- 1:25:31Video: your iCloud, your Instagram, your TikTok,
- 1:25:33Video: or any account, the mask comes off.
- 1:25:35Video: So you can never log in on your burner phone
- 1:25:38Video: where you're browsing the web to any website
- 1:25:39Video: you've ever used before through the login
- 1:25:41Video: that you typically use.
- 1:25:44Video: Even that doesn't resolve the issues.
- 1:25:46Video: You're still identifiable by the way you use language,
- 1:25:49Video: your speaking style, your typing style.
- 1:25:52Video: You use the same typos over and over again.
- 1:25:54Video: You talk like David Lynch, like I do.
- 1:25:56Video: Between typing different letters down to the microsecond
- 1:25:59Video: can be used to match your burner accounts to you.
- 1:26:02Video: And websites can and do keep that data
- 1:26:04Video: to try to identify people for marketing purposes.
- 1:26:07Video: The internet doesn't always need your name.
- 1:26:08Video: Sometimes it recognizes your pattern
- 1:26:11Video: and your searches, your habits betray you.
- 1:26:13Chris: Though to be fair, that's less likely
- 1:26:15Chris: to hold up in court than other forms of identification.
- 1:26:19Video: That's right, right.
- 1:26:21Video: So what's my point?
- 1:26:22Video: The privacy that you would seek to obtain
- 1:26:25Video: through browsing the web anonymously
- 1:26:27Video: is practically unobtainable.
- 1:26:29Video: You can be burned by one login,
- 1:26:32Video: one time locating yourself on a wifi network
- 1:26:35Video: and then being on camera in that same location.
- 1:26:38Video: So my point is basically we live in a crazy world
- 1:26:41Video: where everything you do is traced
- 1:26:43Video: and there's really no way around it.
- 1:26:44Video: (imitates spitting)
- 1:26:48Nora: (laughing)
- 1:26:55Chris: He looks like Kyle Gordon.
- 1:26:56Chris: He does.
- 1:26:58Chris: Also, from what I could tell,
- 1:27:01Chris: Those were sound effects being played over him.
- 1:27:03Chris: He wasn't actually doing that.
- 1:27:04Chris: No flying out of that.
- 1:27:06Chris: That you know, at least on the second one.
- 1:27:10Chris: No. Can we can we go back to it and play that last little bit?
- 1:27:13Chris: We got to listen to it flat out.
- 1:27:14Video: I'm working on it.
- 1:27:17Video: You can be burned by one log in.
- 1:27:21Video: My point is basically we live in a crazy world
- 1:27:23Video: where everything you do is traced and there's really no way around it.
- 1:27:27Video: (imitates spitting)
- 1:27:35Chris: Yeah, see, there's a point there
- 1:27:37Chris: where he stops moving his mouth, yet the sound continues.
- 1:27:39Charles: No, I think he's just moving his mouth too quickly
- 1:27:42Charles: that it's not registering in the camera.
- 1:27:45Nora: With how much he spit on that,
- 1:27:48Nora: he was doing that for real.
- 1:27:50Chris: Well, I'm sure he's doing the motions
- 1:27:52Chris: and he's making sounds, he's just not making those sounds.
- 1:27:56Charles: No, he's not adding that sound effect.
- 1:27:58Charles: We need to ask him, we need to,
- 1:28:00Charles: can we reach out to this guy?
- 1:28:01Charles: I'm gonna reach out to this guy and be like,
- 1:28:03Charles: hey look man.
- 1:28:04Nora: Hey Mr. Lawyer.
- 1:28:04Charles: Hey Mr. Lawyer, can you actually just beatbox
- 1:28:07Charles: for us again?
- 1:28:08Charles: I wonder if he has other beatboxing videos.
- 1:28:10Nora: I hope he does.
- 1:28:11Charles: You know what we forgot to do?
- 1:28:12Nora: What?
- 1:28:13Charles: The chiropractic stuff.
- 1:28:14Nora: Yeah, you did.
- 1:28:15Charles: Let's do it Charles.
- 1:28:16Charles: Okay, so.
- 1:28:17Charles: It's 8.30 already.
- 1:28:19Charles: (laughing)
- 1:28:20Charles: I know, I know.
- 1:28:21Nora: What else are we doing today?
- 1:28:23Charles: Oh, we are gonna go get food.
- 1:28:24Nora: I mean, we're not going to be able to if you start the chiropractic right we gotta do it
- 1:28:30Charles: It's so good. It's so good. So last week I was just talking about like like how fucking weird chiropractic videos
- 1:28:38Charles: chiropractor cracking videos can get
- 1:28:41Charles: and so
- 1:28:43Charles: Earlier this week. I was like, let's just search
- 1:28:46Charles: Chiropractor cracking videos and see what pops up
- 1:28:54Charles: now
- 1:28:54Charles: And just see them digging in people's buttholes
- 1:29:00Charles: Like, like flat out like
- 1:29:02Nora: No!
- 1:29:04Charles: No! Stop!
- 1:29:07Charles: That's, that's porn
- 1:29:08Charles: Right, one more
- 1:29:10Nora: It's just
- 1:29:13Nora: It's all just
- 1:29:20Chris: It's that same video
- 1:29:21Chris: Goddammit!
- 1:29:24Chris: (laughing)
- 1:29:28Charles: No.
- 1:29:30Nora: It's just straight up.
- 1:29:32Charles: I'm serious.
- 1:29:32Charles: It's just like when we go through it,
- 1:29:34Charles: it's literally just straight up just like-
- 1:29:37Charles: Just butthole palooza.
- 1:29:39Charles: But like they just stick their fingers
- 1:29:43Charles: just all the way up the butt.
- 1:29:46Charles: Like I don't, I don't get it.
- 1:29:49Charles: I don't get, I mean, I do get it.
- 1:29:52Charles: It's just, it's fetish content, right?
- 1:29:55Charles: At that point, yeah.
- 1:29:56Charles: It's gotta be, yeah.
- 1:29:57Charles: Right, so like there's a purpose for it.
- 1:30:00Charles: However, it's just sad that I can't find any like good,
- 1:30:03Charles: like terrible cracking videos.
- 1:30:05Charles: It's all just like, here's a finger
- 1:30:08Charles: in somebody's butthole.
- 1:30:10Chris: You know what, well Charles,
- 1:30:11Chris: that'll be your homework for next week
- 1:30:13Chris: is to find some really weird cracking videos
- 1:30:17Chris: that aren't butthole focused.
- 1:30:21Chris: Chris, tell us about your assessment.
- 1:30:26Chris: So as part of my day job,
- 1:30:28Chris: everyone at the company was invited to take
- 1:30:31Chris: something called a DISC assessment, D-I-S-C.
- 1:30:35Chris: I don't remember what it stands for.
- 1:30:37Chris: I'm not sure I ever knew it.
- 1:30:38Nora: Dominance something, something, something.
- 1:30:41Chris: Yeah, Dominus Obsequium Sacralum something.
- 1:30:46Chris: Here's a very short explainer on what it's supposed to do.
- 1:30:51Video: While assessment really is,
- 1:30:52Video: let's first talk about why it matters to you as a leader
- 1:30:55Video: for overall team success.
- 1:30:56Video: As a leader, understanding your team members' personalities
- 1:30:59Video: and communication styles can be a game changer.
- 1:31:02Video: It allows you to build a more cohesive and productive team,
- 1:31:05Video: increase employee satisfaction, and ultimately-
- 1:31:07Nora: Yeah!
- 1:31:08Video: Look how happy she is.
- 1:31:11Charles: Holy Christmas.
- 1:31:12Charles: The three person high five is the worst feeling thing ever.
- 1:31:16Charles: It never feels-
- 1:31:17Charles: You have no good context.
- 1:31:19Charles: Let's do one. I'll do the third. I'll do the third hand ready
- 1:31:23Charles: It just there's no there's no good feel for it. This is how you do it ready
- 1:31:28Charles: So I'll do this this hand would be like the same hand so just put your hand your your other hand
- 1:31:33Charles: So we do it like this and then we just wrap in
- 1:31:40Charles: Do that in camera - okay, so we got it's way up here so we got
- 1:31:44Charles: Third person you can add more people if you want you could use roll them in and you just shake it
- 1:31:51Charles: That's how you do it I don't like that you don't like that one I don't like touching
- 1:32:01Charles: Which brings up a good question Chris
- 1:32:02Charles: Uh, how do you feel about like like being physical with other people like hugging shaking hands that kind of thing?
- 1:32:09Chris: If they're people I like I like it. Okay. Okay. It's good answer
- 1:32:13Chris: Mm-hmm. So speaking of invasive procedures. Let's look at the results of this assessment. I have not seen this before
- 1:32:21Chris: I just did a cursory glance to make sure it didn't have like my social security number or something in it before we put it
- 1:32:26Chris: On the show, but we are all seeing this for the first time
- 1:32:30Nora: You're gonna find out that
- 1:32:32Nora: You are an uncompliant
- 1:32:36Nora: Undominant non-dominant
- 1:32:40Charles: Chris is such a subby little bottom.
- 1:32:43Charles: (laughing)
- 1:32:48Chris: Charles has been reading my diary.
- 1:32:49Chris: So yeah, so this is a 50 page document.
- 1:32:53Chris: We are not going through all of it by any means
- 1:32:57Chris: 'cause I don't even know, like look how broken down this is.
- 1:33:01Chris: How did you take this?
- 1:33:03Chris: So it is a series of 36 questions, that's it.
- 1:33:07Nora: Like the Radzar.
- 1:33:09Chris: Radzar is like 80.
- 1:33:10Nora: (laughing)
- 1:33:11Chris: And all you do is like basically rank statements
- 1:33:17Chris: from one to six several times.
- 1:33:19Chris: And it's kind of like an SAT thing where it's like,
- 1:33:22Chris: or maybe Myers-Briggs where there are multiple questions
- 1:33:25Chris: that all mean the same thing but are worded differently.
- 1:33:28Chris: So yeah, out of 36 questions about things
- 1:33:31Chris: that are basically all the same,
- 1:33:33Chris: they generated this 50-some page document.
- 1:33:36Video: Wow.
- 1:33:37Chris: Which is wild to me.
- 1:33:40Chris: Now, for the record, I'm not suggesting that this isn't valid.
- 1:33:43Chris: I have no idea whether it is or isn't.
- 1:33:46Chris: I just thought it would be fun for us to go through.
- 1:33:49Chris: So there's, you know, talks about, "This examines Chris's behavioral style, offering
- 1:33:54Chris: insight into his natural leadership behaviors and those that might require more energy and
- 1:33:59Chris: focus."
- 1:33:59Chris: [laughter]
- 1:34:01Chris: "Driving Forces explores my personal motivators."
- 1:34:04Charles: By only answering 36 questions,
- 1:34:07Charles: it's able to generate 50 pages worth of this.
- 1:34:10Chris: Isn't that wild?
- 1:34:11Chris: It's AI.
- 1:34:12Chris: Yeah, I don't think it's AI.
- 1:34:14Chris: I think it's something else entirely.
- 1:34:16Nora: Oh, 'cause the team, we did a PI,
- 1:34:20Nora: predictive index assessment,
- 1:34:22Nora: and I'm pretty sure that's AI.
- 1:34:24Chris: Ah, that could be.
- 1:34:25Chris: Now this is based off of some psychologist's thing,
- 1:34:29Chris: so I don't know much about it, or really anything at all.
- 1:34:33Chris: So this is about my approach to problems and challenges,
- 1:34:36Chris: to people in contact, to pace and consistency,
- 1:34:38Chris: to procedures and constraints.
- 1:34:42Chris: Let's see.
- 1:34:45Chris: So this is behavioral characteristics.
- 1:34:47Chris: Chris likes to work behind the scene.
- 1:34:50Chris: (laughing)
- 1:34:53Chris: And be seen as someone who is organized
- 1:34:56Chris: and has his life in order.
- 1:34:58Chris: That's true.
- 1:34:58Chris: He is task oriented.
- 1:35:00Chris: However, he can still maintain good working relationships
- 1:35:03Chris: with others as long as they share his concern for excellence.
- 1:35:08Chris: It's true.
- 1:35:09Chris: (laughing)
- 1:35:11Chris: That particular part sounds like it was written by AI.
- 1:35:14Chris: (laughing)
- 1:35:15Chris: His concern for excellence is the weirdest sentence
- 1:35:18Chris: fragment I've ever seen.
- 1:35:20Chris: He keeps his equipment in good working order
- 1:35:23Chris: and likes others who also use the equipment
- 1:35:25Chris: to share the same concern.
- 1:35:27Chris: It's true.
- 1:35:28Chris: (laughing)
- 1:35:30Chris: which you could take any number of ways.
- 1:35:33Chris: Becoming acquainted with him can be difficult
- 1:35:35Chris: since he tends to withhold his emotions.
- 1:35:37Chris: What?
- 1:35:39Chris: He may appear to be cool and distant.
- 1:35:42Chris: And I think that's gonna be my new Instagram bio,
- 1:35:46Chris: cool and distant.
- 1:35:49Chris: Chris prefers doing the job right the first time
- 1:35:51Chris: rather than taking shortcuts
- 1:35:52Chris: that may lessen the quality of work.
- 1:35:54Chris: How do you feel about that sentence, Chris?
- 1:35:58Chris: You feel like that connects pretty well?
- 1:36:01Chris: To a degree, yeah.
- 1:36:02Chris: I don't like having to do the same thing multiple times
- 1:36:04Chris: if I can avoid it, that is definitely true.
- 1:36:07Video: Makes sense.
- 1:36:08Chris: And I do sometimes get annoyed
- 1:36:10Chris: when I'm asked to do something and then I do it
- 1:36:12Chris: and then someone changes the parameters
- 1:36:13Chris: and I have to do it over.
- 1:36:16Chris: Let's see.
- 1:36:18Chris: He sees it as an efficient way of task completion.
- 1:36:21Chris: True.
- 1:36:21Chris: Because of high expectations for his own job performance,
- 1:36:24Chris: Chris may sometimes feel that other workers cannot perform
- 1:36:27Chris: up to his standards.
- 1:36:28Chris: That is 100% true.
- 1:36:32Chris: He doesn't appreciate a dirty or messy workstation
- 1:36:35Chris: since he equates dirt and disorganization
- 1:36:37Chris: with lower quality work.
- 1:36:39Chris: That is demonstrably not true.
- 1:36:42Chris: If you saw my desk in my office at home,
- 1:36:45Chris: it's pure chaos.
- 1:36:48Chris: I do like keeping the studio clean,
- 1:36:50Chris: but that's because there's expensive equipment here.
- 1:36:52Chris: Other people who use it.
- 1:36:53Chris: And it's a shared space.
- 1:36:54Chris: And it's a shared space, yeah, you know?
- 1:36:56Nora: Different parameters there.
- 1:36:58Chris: Yeah, let's see.
- 1:37:00Chris: Rules and procedures provide security
- 1:37:03Chris: for his job performance, sure.
- 1:37:05Chris: Chris can devote all his energy to the job
- 1:37:07Chris: which offers security to his work situation.
- 1:37:10Chris: Isn't some of this just phrased really strangely?
- 1:37:12Charles: Yeah, I do agree with you that this does read like AI.
- 1:37:17Nora: That's the only way that you can really generate
- 1:37:19Nora: 50 pages of content after 36 questions.
- 1:37:22Chris: Chris prides himself on being incisive.
- 1:37:26Chris: I'm not really sure what that means.
- 1:37:28Chris: He wants to get things done by proceeding with the facts
- 1:37:31Chris: that are at hand.
- 1:37:32Chris: In conflicts, Chris usually remains calm and cool-headed.
- 1:37:35Chris: I don't know, Charles, you've seen me in conflicts.
- 1:37:38Chris: What say you?
- 1:37:39Charles: I think there are times where you can
- 1:37:42Charles: and times where you...
- 1:37:48Nora: Incisive means direct.
- 1:37:49Charles: Ah, okay.
- 1:37:51Charles: I feel like it's 50/50 with that one.
- 1:37:53Charles: Sure.
- 1:37:54Chris: Yeah, I would agree.
- 1:37:58Chris: When things calm down, however,
- 1:37:59Chris: he may suffer some delayed reaction.
- 1:38:03Chris: From all kinds of delayed reaction.
- 1:38:04Chris: Chris is a critical and systematic thinker
- 1:38:08Chris: and the strength may not be easily recognized by others.
- 1:38:11Chris: He tends to base decisions on the quality of work,
- 1:38:13Chris: not on efficiency.
- 1:38:15Chris: He capable of routinely making daily decisions,
- 1:38:17Chris: usually becomes cautious about the bigger decisions.
- 1:38:20Chris: He wants to be absolutely certain his decisions is correct.
- 1:38:24Chris: That's true, I think.
- 1:38:27Chris: With bigger decisions, I do tend to ruminate on 'em
- 1:38:30Chris: for probably far too long.
- 1:38:32Chris: But so far, from what you guys are seeing here,
- 1:38:35Chris: would you say, this is me, this is not me?
- 1:38:38Charles: I feel like this is pretty similar, Chris.
- 1:38:41Nora: Yeah, seems like the Chris I know.
- 1:38:43Charles: This is very interesting how close it is overall
- 1:38:48Charles: that I wonder what the C stands for,
- 1:38:53Charles: why you're Scotty-- - Compliant.
- 1:38:56Charles: You're just a compliant little guy.
- 1:38:58Charles: Just a compliant little guy.
- 1:39:00Charles: Rules are helpful.
- 1:39:01Chris: Rules are helpful.
- 1:39:02Chris: Although I don't know that I agree with this next part.
- 1:39:06Chris: Where did it go?
- 1:39:07Chris: Chris places high value on tradition and traditional things.
- 1:39:12Chris: Yes and no.
- 1:39:13Chris: I think we're all creatures of habit for sure,
- 1:39:17Chris: but I don't necessarily like doing things
- 1:39:19Chris: just because they're the traditional way.
- 1:39:22Chris: If we did this show the way that most other people do,
- 1:39:25Chris: like internet videos, we would not put all of this effort
- 1:39:30Chris: into the way that we do it.
- 1:39:33Chris: As just one example.
- 1:39:36Chris: Chris has acute awareness of social, economic,
- 1:39:38Chris: and political implications of his decisions.
- 1:39:42Chris: He gets frustrated when well-established rules
- 1:39:44Chris: are not observed by others.
- 1:39:46Nora: Same.
- 1:39:46Chris: Sometimes, yeah.
- 1:39:48Nora: I very much like it.
- 1:39:50Nora: It's a rule that I have to follow then everybody else better be fucking
- 1:39:57Chris: Let's see, let's okay, so I think we've got kind of the idea for behavioral stuff let's come to
- 1:40:04Chris: value to the organization anchor of reality
- 1:40:08Chris: Always concerned about quality work maintain standards objective the anchor of reality. I'm gonna add that to my
- 1:40:15Chris: LinkedIn bio
- 1:40:16Chris: accurate and intuitive
- 1:40:19Charles: Okay, but where's the downside this is like hyping you up. Yeah, it is. Let's get to let's get to this shit
- 1:40:26Chris: Like yeah, where's the page where I suck ways to okay?
- 1:40:30Chris: Here's you guys have to communicate with me like all day every day ways to communicate with Chris
- 1:40:37Chris: Give him time to be thorough when appropriate
- 1:40:40Chris: Listen to him
- 1:40:41Nora: For everyone, keep at least three feet away from him.
- 1:40:46Nora: (laughing)
- 1:40:49Nora: What the fuck are you saying?
- 1:40:52Nora: This assessment, Chris, thinks you're autistic.
- 1:40:55Nora: (laughing)
- 1:40:58Charles: Chris took the reds out.
- 1:41:02Charles: (laughing)
- 1:41:05Charles: I have no idea where that came from, holy shit.
- 1:41:09Charles: Use an unemotional approach.
- 1:41:11Nora: Okay, honestly, the three feet away,
- 1:41:13Nora: that seems like a business space,
- 1:41:15Nora: like that's professional space that you give somebody.
- 1:41:18Nora: Hello, Nora. - That's too much.
- 1:41:20Nora: Hello, Nora.
- 1:41:21Nora: We're sitting when we normally sit, that's three.
- 1:41:24Chris: That's not three feet.
- 1:41:25Nora: Or two and a half feet away.
- 1:41:26Chris: No, it's not.
- 1:41:28Chris: You're like maybe a foot away, if that.
- 1:41:29Nora: Well, that's because we're also front facing.
- 1:41:31Nora: If I were talking with Charles,
- 1:41:33Nora: I would want him to be across the table.
- 1:41:34Chris: It's 'cause I smell, though.
- 1:41:37Chris: (laughing)
- 1:41:38Nora: Sorry.
- 1:41:40Chris: Let's see, prepare your quote unquote case in advance.
- 1:41:44Chris: (laughing)
- 1:41:44Chris: Use expert testimonials.
- 1:41:47Nora: (laughing)
- 1:41:48Nora: He's not gonna trust you, bitch!
- 1:41:50Chris: You know, from now on, when anyone suggests
- 1:41:53Chris: a new segment idea, I'm gonna require you
- 1:41:55Chris: to list at least three expert testimonials.
- 1:41:57Charles: You know what, you know what, I'm gonna find,
- 1:42:00Charles: I'm gonna go through and find all of these
- 1:42:02Charles: weird little guys who have like good followings,
- 1:42:04Charles: like the catchphrase guy, and be like,
- 1:42:06Charles: you know, Heidi Klum follows him.
- 1:42:09Charles: (laughing)
- 1:42:10Nora: Logical proof.
- 1:42:11Nora: (laughing)
- 1:42:13Chris: Let's see, be prepared with the facts and figures,
- 1:42:16Chris: have the facts in logical order.
- 1:42:18Chris: Okay, ways not to communicate with Chris.
- 1:42:21Chris: Pretend to be an expert if you are not.
- 1:42:24Charles: I mean, in general, this is just like
- 1:42:27Charles: how to communicate with people.
- 1:42:29Nora: Use inappropriate buzzwords.
- 1:42:31Nora: "Hey, Chris, you're being too woke right now."
- 1:42:35Nora: (laughing)
- 1:42:35Nora: I don't even know.
- 1:42:38Nora: (laughing)
- 1:42:41Chris: Push too hard to be unrealistic with deadlines?
- 1:42:43Chris: Well that's just being an asshole.
- 1:42:44Nora: Mm-hmm.
- 1:42:45Chris: (laughing)
- 1:42:46Nora: Stand too close.
- 1:42:47Nora: What the fuck?
- 1:42:49Nora: (laughing)
- 1:42:52Nora: What did you have to, what questions did you answer
- 1:42:54Nora: to get that response?
- 1:42:57Nora: I don't know.
- 1:42:59Nora: I wanna know if everybody has the,
- 1:43:01Nora: don't stand too close.
- 1:43:03Chris: I like this one too.
- 1:43:04Chris: Don't leave things open to interpretation.
- 1:43:07Chris: (laughing)
- 1:43:12Charles: Chris, I think you should bring this up to a meeting
- 1:43:14Charles: and see if any employees got,
- 1:43:15Charles: please stand really close to me.
- 1:43:18Charles: (laughing)
- 1:43:19Charles: Please talk in my face.
- 1:43:20Nora: Hello, hello.
- 1:43:21Nora: Talk in my face.
- 1:43:22Nora: Hello.
- 1:43:23Nora: Oh, I won't accept your ideas
- 1:43:26Chris: unless you are breathing into my mouth.
- 1:43:27Nora: I don't think we've ever been that close before, Trevor.
- 1:43:30Nora: I know, that was weird.
- 1:43:31Nora: That was weird.
- 1:43:33Nora: (laughing)
- 1:43:34Charles: Oh, God.
- 1:43:35Nora: We do need to follow the three feet of space rule.
- 1:43:38Nora: This is true.
- 1:43:38Nora: Come on in.
- 1:43:39Nora: (laughing)
- 1:43:40Charles: No, scroll back up, scroll back up, scroll back up.
- 1:43:44Charles: For dominance.
- 1:43:46Charles: (laughing)
- 1:43:47Chris: When manage, yeah, so this is what's checkboxed
- 1:43:51Chris: in under dominance.
- 1:43:52Chris: When managing or interacting with a person
- 1:43:53Chris: who is ambitious, forceful, decisive, strong-willed,
- 1:43:56Chris: independent, and goal-oriented.
- 1:43:59Chris: Be clear, specific, brief, and to the point.
- 1:44:01Chris: Stick to business.
- 1:44:03Nora: No leaving loopholes or cloudy issues.
- 1:44:06Chris: Be prepared with support material
- 1:44:07Chris: in a well-organized quote unquote package.
- 1:44:10Charles: I got a well-organized package for you.
- 1:44:12Chris: Oh!
- 1:44:14Nora: It seems like disorganization
- 1:44:17Nora: plays a role in all of these.
- 1:44:20Chris: I am extremely disorganized.
- 1:44:23Chris: Like that's just, you should see how the years and years
- 1:44:27Chris: of our creative output are organized.
- 1:44:29Chris: It's a madhouse.
- 1:44:31Chris: Let's see what else.
- 1:44:33Chris: Okay, so yeah, these ones, we're not gonna go through.
- 1:44:34Nora: I wanna see the perceptions, yeah.
- 1:44:37Nora: Oh, here's your.
- 1:44:39Chris: Chris usually sees himself as being precise,
- 1:44:42Chris: thorough, moderate, diplomatic,
- 1:44:45Chris: knowledgeable, and analytical.
- 1:44:47Nora: Here's where he's not being glazed anymore.
- 1:44:50Chris: Yeah, under moderate pressure, tension,
- 1:44:52Chris: stress, or fatigue, others may see him as being
- 1:44:56Chris: pessimistic, worrisome, picky, and fussy.
- 1:45:00Chris: (laughing)
- 1:45:02Chris: (laughing)
- 1:45:03Chris: Charles, you've known me for 10 years, what say you?
- 1:45:05Charles: I think that's accurate.
- 1:45:09Charles: Okay, I'll take that.
- 1:45:10Charles: I think so.
- 1:45:12Charles: I think that when you get under
- 1:45:16Charles: a very stressful situation,
- 1:45:19Charles: you tend to get pretty worrisome.
- 1:45:22Chris: That is, yeah, you know what, that's accurate.
- 1:45:24Chris: Through years of building what a loudspeaker has become,
- 1:45:30Chris: There are probably every six months or so,
- 1:45:33Chris: I get like a extreme crisis of confidence
- 1:45:36Chris: and Charles has to talk me off the ledge.
- 1:45:39Chris: So that's not inaccurate.
- 1:45:41Chris: But I don't think it's a bad thing.
- 1:45:42Chris: Literally, like Chris was on top of a building
- 1:45:43Charles: like a month ago.
- 1:45:45Nora: (laughing)
- 1:45:45Nora: I don't think that's a bad thing though.
- 1:45:47Charles: Chris jumping to his death is not a bad thing?
- 1:45:49Nora: I think it's a bad thing.
- 1:45:51Nora: Not the being worrisome, you know,
- 1:45:52Nora: like being, you know, concerned when something is,
- 1:45:54Nora: when you're under stress,
- 1:45:55Nora: I think that's a normal human reaction.
- 1:45:58Chris: Yeah, under extreme pressure,
- 1:46:00Chris: stress or fatigue.
- 1:46:01Chris: Others may see him as being perfectionistic,
- 1:46:04Chris: which I didn't know was a word,
- 1:46:06Chris: hard to please, strict, and defensive.
- 1:46:10Nora: Hard to please and strict?
- 1:46:11Nora: I don't think those are bad things.
- 1:46:15Chris: I also wouldn't agree with strict or perfectionistic.
- 1:46:19Chris: If I'm under extreme pressure,
- 1:46:22Chris: I'm usually at a point where I just wanna get it done.
- 1:46:24Chris: I don't even necessarily care about how that happens.
- 1:46:28Chris: Right.
- 1:46:30Chris: Potential hidden influences.
- 1:46:32Chris: This section explores Chris's quote,
- 1:46:34Nora: lowest behavioral factor.
- 1:46:35Chris: Now this is where they shit on me.
- 1:46:37Chris: This is where I get into it.
- 1:46:40Chris: Leadership situations that may create discomfort
- 1:46:42Chris: or displeasure or deplete Chris's energy quickly
- 1:46:46Chris: include giving impromptu public presentations,
- 1:46:49Chris: working environments that mistake realism for pessimism,
- 1:46:54Chris: contexts that promote trust
- 1:46:55Chris: without the support of solid data.
- 1:46:59Chris: About the only part of that that I can identify with
- 1:47:02Chris: is giving impromptu public presentations,
- 1:47:04Chris: but I think that just about everyone is terrified of that.
- 1:47:07Nora: I don't mind it.
- 1:47:08Chris: I don't mind.
- 1:47:09Nora: I can do it.
- 1:47:10Chris: Like, just like without any warning,
- 1:47:12Charles: just hop in and do it?
- 1:47:13Nora: Yeah.
- 1:47:14Charles: Yeah, I'm good at improv.
- 1:47:16Nora: I can talk to people.
- 1:47:17Charles: I can yes and any kind of meeting I jump into.
- 1:47:22Charles: You're better at that than I am, for sure.
- 1:47:24Nora: For me, it's not an improv, it's like,
- 1:47:26Nora: hey, I could talk for 15 minutes.
- 1:47:28Nora: Sure, let me.
- 1:47:29Nora: (laughing)
- 1:47:30Chris: Nora's a yapper.
- 1:47:31Chris: That is true.
- 1:47:32Nora: Just let me talk.
- 1:47:33Chris: Like, "Hey Nora, we're doing a show,
- 1:47:35Chris: "do you wanna be on it?"
- 1:47:36Chris: "Sure, I can talk about stuff."
- 1:47:37Chris: Exactly, like literally.
- 1:47:40Nora: I'll yap for days, I love yapping,
- 1:47:42Nora: and in fact, if I could give presentations
- 1:47:44Nora: about things today, I will.
- 1:47:46Charles: Change your LinkedIn bio to professional yapper,
- 1:47:48Charles: you would get so many jobs.
- 1:47:49Charles: Yes. - People would love that.
- 1:47:51Nora: Yes.
- 1:47:52Nora: But I don't wanna yap professionally,
- 1:47:53Nora: I wanna yap for fun.
- 1:47:55Chris: Oh, let's see.
- 1:47:56Chris: (laughing)
- 1:48:00Chris: A list of descriptors, I don't know.
- 1:48:03Nora: It does say he's not dominant.
- 1:48:05Nora: (laughing)
- 1:48:06Nora: It says non-dominant, yes, it's under.
- 1:48:09Nora: Yeah, I mean.
- 1:48:10Nora: But you're steady and compliant.
- 1:48:11Chris: I don't consider myself a dominant person.
- 1:48:14Chris: I think if I need to be-
- 1:48:15Nora: He's a subby little bottom.
- 1:48:17Chris: I mean, I can be if I need to be,
- 1:48:19Chris: if I need to be decisive, but it's not my-
- 1:48:22Chris: He's verse.
- 1:48:23Chris: (laughing)
- 1:48:24Nora: It's not my verse.
- 1:48:26Nora: Same. - Oh, same.
- 1:48:27Chris: Chris is somewhat conservative in approaching challenges.
- 1:48:32Chris: He prefers calculated responses
- 1:48:33Chris: and seeks to avoid confrontation,
- 1:48:36Chris: reflecting a leadership style focused on critical thinking
- 1:48:39Chris: and positive team dynamics.
- 1:48:42Chris: Incredible.
- 1:48:44Nora: (laughing)
- 1:48:45Nora: I think this is like pretty accurate, honestly.
- 1:48:48Charles: We're only on page 15 of 15.
- 1:48:50Charles: I know, this is nuts.
- 1:48:52Nora: Half of it is like how you use the data, I think.
- 1:48:57Nora: Like the first part is gonna be his results,
- 1:49:00Nora: but then the rest of it's like how you use the data,
- 1:49:02Nora: how you apply it.
- 1:49:03Nora: So, like how he is naturally and how he is at work.
- 1:49:07Charles: What's like the last few pages?
- 1:49:08Charles: Like what's the overview?
- 1:49:11Chris: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:49:12Chris: I'm scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling.
- 1:49:16Chris: Set clear guidelines, productivity booster.
- 1:49:20Chris: Like, yeah, there's so much.
- 1:49:22Chris: Oh, wait.
- 1:49:23Chris: Chris has a tendency to appear somewhat aloof and cool
- 1:49:26Chris: to the emotional appeal of others.
- 1:49:29Charles: Autism!
- 1:49:30Charles: (laughing)
- 1:49:32Chris: Is that true though?
- 1:49:33Chris: I don't know.
- 1:49:34Chris: It's not a very good thing.
- 1:49:35Chris: When people make emotional appeals to me,
- 1:49:37Chris: I usually start crying.
- 1:49:39Charles: Yeah, I don't think that that's very accurate to you.
- 1:49:42Charles: You're a very emotional guy.
- 1:49:44Chris: I'm an emotional little guy.
- 1:49:46Chris: I take, I wear my heart on my sleeve
- 1:49:48Chris: and I do take things personally,
- 1:49:51Chris: even when they're not always intended that way.
- 1:49:53Chris: And yeah, I wouldn't agree with that particular part.
- 1:49:57Chris: Chris has a tendency to select people much like himself.
- 1:50:01Chris: Exhibit A for no.
- 1:50:04Chris: (laughing)
- 1:50:06Nora: We are very different.
- 1:50:08Chris: It's very true.
- 1:50:11Chris: Be suspicious and pessimistic of any new project.
- 1:50:14Chris: Wants more support than is necessary.
- 1:50:17Chris: I don't think that's true at all.
- 1:50:18Chris: No, I don't think this is true.
- 1:50:22Chris: Prefer things to people.
- 1:50:23Chris: Things don't show emotion or need restraint.
- 1:50:27Chris: (laughing)
- 1:50:29Charles: How do you feel about that, Chris?
- 1:50:30Chris: I love people, I really do.
- 1:50:34Chris: But going back to being an emotional person,
- 1:50:37Chris: I care about people and I do the things I do
- 1:50:44Chris: to share things with the world.
- 1:50:47Chris: Shows like this, our radio station, our, you know,
- 1:50:50Chris: culture and how people interact with the world
- 1:50:52Chris: and the ways in which people live our lives
- 1:50:54Chris: is very important to me.
- 1:50:56Chris: Otherwise, I don't think I'd be putting myself
- 1:50:58Chris: on the internet all the time.
- 1:50:59Chris: Right.
- 1:51:00Nora: I think the other limitation of these kind of,
- 1:51:02Nora: like, questionnaires is they're, like,
- 1:51:04Nora: work-related specifically.
- 1:51:06Nora: Right.
- 1:51:06Nora: And, like, my work persona is totally different
- 1:51:09Nora: than, like, this vibe-check persona.
- 1:51:11Charles: Right, I wear a shirt,
- 1:51:12Charles: I don't show my nipples at work ever.
- 1:51:15Nora: I wouldn't do that, but here, on this show?
- 1:51:18Chris: I think that's why they passed you up for that promotion.
- 1:51:22Nora: (laughing)
- 1:51:23Nora: Oh!
- 1:51:24Nora: Both of them, it happened you guys, it happened!
- 1:51:26Chris: I'm also wearing a wire, folks.
- 1:51:28Chris: Charles, do that to camera two.
- 1:51:30Nora: (laughing)
- 1:51:31Nora: You gotta stand up for that one.
- 1:51:33Charles: Hold on, I'm stepping on the microphone.
- 1:51:35Charles: There we go.
- 1:51:38Charles: Yeah, get it.
- 1:51:40Nora: (laughing)
- 1:51:40Charles: It's like so hot, it's like my nipple in 4K.
- 1:51:44Charles: (laughing)
- 1:51:45Nora: You guys, I'm getting really hungry.
- 1:51:47Chris: You're getting, I'm-
- 1:51:48Nora: I'm really, really hungry.
- 1:51:50Chris: Yeah, so let's see if we can cut to the chase on just-
- 1:51:55Chris: What's the final note?
- 1:51:56Chris: I don't know, man, I'm scrolling
- 1:51:57Chris: and I'm still only halfway through.
- 1:51:59Chris: God damn.
- 1:51:59Chris: Driving forces.
- 1:52:01Charles: Can you scroll through the pages on the side
- 1:52:04Charles: and just go down to the bottom page?
- 1:52:05Chris: Yeah, let's see.
- 1:52:06Chris: Yeah, what do we got?
- 1:52:08Chris: Let's do that.
- 1:52:09Charles: Do the last three pages.
- 1:52:11Charles: Or the last few, oh, it goes over our leg.
- 1:52:13Nora: (laughing)
- 1:52:14Charles: You have to do homework, Chris.
- 1:52:17Charles: Like, look at this shit.
- 1:52:18Nora: Point and laugh, you have to do homework.
- 1:52:20Chris: Behavior, yeah, we don't have to do this, by the way.
- 1:52:23Chris: Behaviors and driving forces continuums.
- 1:52:26Chris: (laughing)
- 1:52:26Chris: Maybe if I read the previous 50 pages,
- 1:52:28Chris: I'd understand what the hell this means.
- 1:52:30Nora: You have some stars and some numbers in there.
- 1:52:32Nora: It looks good.
- 1:52:33Chris: Yeah, I got some numbers.
- 1:52:34Chris: I got a 47 on harmonious.
- 1:52:36Chris: Wow.
- 1:52:37Nora: I don't know what that means.
- 1:52:39Nora: Congratulations.
- 1:52:39Nora: Thank you.
- 1:52:40Nora: That's some good numbers.
- 1:52:41Nora: 47 on harmonious.
- 1:52:43Nora: I haven't, he's seen a score at 47 and-
- 1:52:45Nora: Yeah, this thing thinks I'm like a robot.
- 1:52:48Nora: It thinks you're, I think you answered it as an autistic.
- 1:52:52Nora: (laughing)
- 1:52:53Nora: 'Cause it sounds like mine.
- 1:52:56Nora: (laughing)
- 1:52:57Nora: That sounds like me.
- 1:52:59Nora: Yeah.
- 1:53:00Nora: Except I do love a presentation,
- 1:53:02Nora: that's the only difference.
- 1:53:03Chris: Yeah, presentations are fun.
- 1:53:05Chris: And I don't know, maybe I'll put this up
- 1:53:07Chris: in the show notes for people to look at.
- 1:53:09Charles: I think it's funny how they send you personally
- 1:53:13Charles: Did anybody else receive this information?
- 1:53:15Charles: Probably his boss.
- 1:53:16Charles: Your boss probably got it.
- 1:53:17Chris: So the way it was was my boss got them all
- 1:53:20Chris: and then forwarded them to each person
- 1:53:22Chris: as they completed them.
- 1:53:25Charles: I feel like it's really weird to get information
- 1:53:29Charles: about how other people should talk to you.
- 1:53:33Charles: Like I wouldn't want it to like to take a test
- 1:53:36Charles: and then be like, how you-
- 1:53:38Nora: People should walk on eggshells around Lenora.
- 1:53:42Nora: (laughing)
- 1:53:42Nora: She's gonna react and bite your head off.
- 1:53:45Nora: (laughing)
- 1:53:46Chris: I don't know, I can see how it'd be valuable
- 1:53:49Chris: and obviously that's why I had no problem sharing this.
- 1:53:52Chris: In fact, sharing this on the show was my idea.
- 1:53:56Chris: But we were not provided access to anyone else's reports.
- 1:54:01Chris: My boss sent them to everyone individually.
- 1:54:04Chris: So it's not like I can look up my coworker stuff
- 1:54:06Chris: and be like, oh, this is how I need to talk to Nora.
- 1:54:10Chris: But yeah, it's kind of interesting.
- 1:54:11Chris: I think it gets some things right,
- 1:54:13Chris: I think it gets some things wrong.
- 1:54:15Chris: But it is very interesting that it can extrapolate
- 1:54:18Chris: so much out of such little information.
- 1:54:21Charles: Right, that's where I feel like
- 1:54:23Charles: it's assuming a lot of things.
- 1:54:26Charles: Were the questions in depth?
- 1:54:27Charles: Was it like?
- 1:54:29Nora: It was rated one to six.
- 1:54:30Charles: One to six.
- 1:54:31Chris: Yeah, it was literally like,
- 1:54:33Chris: these six things, rank them one to six
- 1:54:35Chris: based on the order of how much you believe in them.
- 1:54:38Nora: Okay, weird.
- 1:54:39Chris: Yeah.
- 1:54:40Nora: See it just reminds me of like my autism assessment and when they were just reading me to filth in my autism
- 1:54:45Charles: Right, right like like question for you Chris
- 1:54:49Charles: Do you always notice how food feels in your mouth? Like do you feel the texture of food?
- 1:54:55Charles: Do you notice the texture? Are you weird about textures? No, not really
- 1:55:00Chris: Like the only one I have any sort of textural reaction to is eel. Oh
- 1:55:09Chris: Yeah
- 1:55:10Chris: sushi until I was in my early 20s and
- 1:55:15Chris: My the girl I was dating at the time was like, okay
- 1:55:18Chris: Try this and try this and try this and we got to the eel and I put the eel in my mouth and it was
- 1:55:22Chris: An immediate reaction where it just went flying straight out. That's how I feel about liver
- 1:55:28Chris: Fair enough. I think liver is disgusting, but that's a taste thing
- 1:55:31Chris: But yeah, that's the only thing where where I have like a textural issue
- 1:55:35Nora: Mine my autism assessment said Nora can be scary when she's angry
- 1:55:41Nora: Don't make me angry.
- 1:55:43Chris: I don't think I've ever seen you angry before.
- 1:55:45Chris: You know, when I was helping you look for your keys.
- 1:55:51Chris: Oh my God, that meltdown.
- 1:55:54Chris: You were very, very frustrated
- 1:55:55Chris: and I was like, yeah, this could get scary.
- 1:55:57Nora: I'm not frustrated at myself.
- 1:55:58Nora: Like that's really what it does.
- 1:55:59Chris: Oh sure, yeah.
- 1:56:00Nora: It's the frustration of myself.
- 1:56:01Chris: Anyone would be.
- 1:56:03Chris: But I was just like, oh man,
- 1:56:04Chris: we better find these fucking keys
- 1:56:06Chris: before someone gets hurt.
- 1:56:08Chris: Do you remember how we found those keys?
- 1:56:11Chris: (laughing)
- 1:56:13Nora: The most Nora way of losing my keys.
- 1:56:19Nora: I was getting really excited
- 1:56:20Nora: 'cause I brought all my Mardi Gras stuff, right?
- 1:56:22Nora: And I bring, take the Mardi Gras bag outside,
- 1:56:26Nora: and I'm like, shit, I can't find my keys.
- 1:56:28Nora: Can somebody come pick me up?
- 1:56:29Nora: 'Cause my house is like two and a half minutes away.
- 1:56:32Nora: And I bring-- - Previous house.
- 1:56:34Nora: Previous house, yeah.
- 1:56:35Nora: And so I bring all the stuff to our studio and go,
- 1:56:40Nora: I can't function if I don't know where my keys are.
- 1:56:43Nora: Like that's gonna bother me all night.
- 1:56:45Nora: And so we go tearing back through my house.
- 1:56:47Nora: And it did.
- 1:56:48Nora: And I get a text about 20 minutes after
- 1:56:51Nora: we're like tearing through the house and Charles goes,
- 1:56:54Nora: your keys have like a blue tag on them?
- 1:56:57Nora: (laughing)
- 1:56:57Nora: They're at the bottom of the bag
- 1:56:58Nora: that I left here at the studio.
- 1:57:00Charles: (laughing)
- 1:57:00Charles: Here at the studio.
- 1:57:02Charles: They're at the studio the entire time.
- 1:57:04Chris: You brought them with you.
- 1:57:05Chris: So this was also after she had already called a locksmith.
- 1:57:09Nora: It's true, I thought the keys were in the car.
- 1:57:11Nora: They were not in the car.
- 1:57:12Chris: They were not in the car.
