🚨 ALERT 🚨 - CRITICAL NEWS Released for Silver Price and Gold Price · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:03
Silver and Gold will be impacted this week by massive news
0:07
stories. We're going to cover all of
0:08
those. You want to know what's going to
0:10
happen with Silver and Gold? We're going to get to the bottom
0:14
of it in this video. We're also going to talk about
0:15
the Hunt brothers. We're going to talk about a
0:18
central bank rebellion. We're going to talk about a lot
0:21
more. But let's dive in right away and
0:24
take a look at what we have to expect this week from a news
0:28
front. Because guys, it is a big, big
0:31
week. We are at the Venviz economic
0:35
calendar for this week. As you can see, nothing today,
0:39
tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30th, nothing major.
0:44
But if we go to Wednesday, that's when the real data starts
0:48
coming in. This is data that will impact
0:51
the silver and gold price. But is the Fed sunk?
0:53
Is the Fed nothing but a big shipwreck?
0:56
We're going to talk about that as well.
0:59
But this Wednesday we'll get the ADP employment numbers.
1:02
We'll then get the ISM manufacturing index.
1:05
See that little red? Exclamation point.
1:08
That means it's very impactful, very important.
1:10
So we keeping an eye on that. Big news of the week though.
1:15
This Wednesday at 2:00 PM Eastern down there at the very
1:19
bottom, we're going to get the FOMC rate decision.
1:22
What is that? The Federal Open Market
1:25
Committee, Federal Reserve. That's what our old friend
1:27
Jerome Powell's going to talk about.
1:30
And and let's emphasize This is why it's such a big deal.
1:33
It's nothing but talk at this point.
1:37
He's going to talk about what's going on with rates.
1:40
They'll be the big announcement. No one is expecting rates to get
1:44
cut. No one is expecting rates to to
1:47
rise, but what we're expecting and what now the market is
1:52
priced in and we're gonna talk about why this is so important,
1:56
what it means for the US dollar. But the big catch phrase now,
2:00
right, you know they always have something they're talking about
2:03
is quote UN quote higher for longer, so.
2:07
We'll be, we'll be. Listening to what Jerome says,
2:10
don't forget guys that he has become nothing but a public
2:14
relations firm. Managing perceptions.
2:17
I'm hearing it said many different ways.
2:20
You know what? I got, I got.
2:22
I got to spill the beans for you.
2:24
Silver and gold have figured him out.
2:27
Sorry, Jerome. Sorry.
2:29
You know you can fool. You can still fool Wall Street.
2:34
You can still fool a lot of the American public, but you can't.
2:38
Fool silver and gold and you can't fool us.
2:40
Basement dwellers. And by the way, basement
2:42
dwellers, thank you for being here.
2:44
Yes, I'm talking to you. It's a big deal.
2:47
You're here. It's a big honor.
2:49
Thank you. Please give this a thumbs up.
2:51
Subscribe to the channel if you haven't.
2:53
We'll put out a new piece of content every single day.
2:56
Something about silver and gold. We'll have some fun.
2:58
We'll joke around. You see your screen and that's
3:01
it. What screen?
3:02
Not you, but like your screen share.
3:05
Yeah, that's what I want. OK?
3:07
Sorry guys, Susie was yelling at me.
3:09
We're looking at the economic. What?
3:13
Oh, Susie was speaking loudly down the steps.
3:16
She thought I was making a mistake.
3:17
Let me go back here. Yep.
3:20
Nope. That's what I want.
3:21
Thank you, though, Susie. And hold on.
3:27
OK, where was I? OK, back to the economic
3:32
calendar. And thank you for the Super
3:34
chats, guys. Friday is another major day that
3:38
will impact the price of silver and gold.
3:41
That's when we get the employment numbers.
3:43
OK, non farm payrolls Friday morning.
3:46
We'll also get the unemployment rate.
3:49
Now we got to realize. All right.
3:50
Here. I'll get you back.
3:51
Susie. Susie was afraid you guys were
3:53
missing seeing my face. Welcome back to the basement,
3:56
Basement dwellers. We got to realize all this
4:00
stuff, all these numbers especially right now, what are
4:04
we, six months, seven months before a big election.
4:07
Those numbers are make believe fairy land numbers and anyway
4:12
right the GDP numbers, the inflation numbers, the the, the
4:16
big employment number that we'll get this week, they are going to
4:20
be manipulated and massage to work into whatever they want to
4:25
do here for the next 6 to 8 months leading up to the
4:28
election, right so that they can do whatever policy moves they.
4:33
The bottom line is the absolute bottom line for you to remember
4:37
and me to remember is gold and silver have them figured out.
4:41
Let's run out the Pemex real quick and just see we were
4:44
struggling a little bit this morning with the gold price and
4:47
the silver price. We're going to refresh.
4:50
Hey, Silver's. Green Thank you, Pemex.
4:53
We love when there's green numbers at the top of the
4:56
screen. Green at the top of the screen.
4:59
Hey, while we're here, let's say thank you to channel sponsor
5:01
Pimbex Pi MB EX. As you can see on my screen,
5:07
they are an online bullion dealer.
5:10
I worked with them before they sponsored the basement.
5:13
It's a great place to buy gold, silver, platinum group metals,
5:18
right? But you want to work with a
5:19
company you can trust. I found.
5:21
I trust Pimbex, and I know a lot of our fellow basement dwellers
5:25
trust Pinbex as well. I get e-mail after e-mail.
5:29
What you get at Pinbex are the best prices, great selection,
5:33
and great service. If you ever want to convert part
5:35
or all of an IRA into precious metals, check out what they can
5:40
do for you in that regard as well.
5:42
I think we'll always find that when we deal with Pinbex, we get
5:46
good quality and more metal for our money.
5:49
Let's go back and let's look at each other again.
5:52
Hello, my friends, basement dwellers, You know, think about
5:56
it. We're all together.
5:57
We're all over the world. The last few days I've said, hey
6:00
guys, put in the chat where you're joining us from.
6:03
We are like dispersed all over the United States, but all over
6:07
the world as well, right? But we are an elite group of
6:11
people that understands, right, understands what's going on in
6:16
the system, the dollar being printed into oblivion.
6:19
We're going to talk a little bit more about that a little bit
6:22
later. But the one thing, right, the
6:24
medicine, the elixir, if that's the right word for that, are
6:28
gold and silver. It's becoming by the day.
6:32
Are you experiencing this more and more clear?
6:35
To me, right. Inflation is theft.
6:39
Inflation is theft. Why would you work?
6:43
I was talking to my dad last night.
6:44
Like, why would somebody work for this stuff?
6:47
Gotta make sure I get the right one 'cause I have a silver
6:49
certificate over there. Right?
6:51
You work for this, right? Us, us, unfortunate middle class
6:56
Americans, and store our wealth in this and it's guaranteed to
7:00
go down in value. Are you kidding me?
7:03
Yes, they must be kidding me. It's a shipwreck.
7:06
OK, They're going to manipulate the data that we get this week.
7:09
Again, big news Wednesday, the Fed decision.
7:13
Big news Friday. The employment numbers, the
7:16
employment numbers, the Bureau of Labor and Statistics are a
7:21
complete joke. I'm sorry.
7:24
That's what they are. Sure.
7:26
Yeah, we we won't even get into it.
7:28
But let's just realize the jobs in all of these numbers are
7:32
going to be are going to be massaged and manipulated to suit
7:35
whatever agenda that the government and the Fed has, OK,
7:39
we are seekers of truth, all right?
7:41
Or as close to the truth as we can get.
7:43
Look, just don't listen to me. Do your own due diligence,
7:46
listen to other people, listen to opinions and form your own
7:49
opinions. But interesting, I heard Lynette
7:52
Zhang say just last night in an interview that she's she did
7:57
some some back of the napkin calculating this is gonna blow
8:00
you away on the gold price. And she calculated that it would
8:04
take almost a $40,000 gold price to back all the debt, all the
8:10
currency in the world and are we moving toward that right.
8:15
And I've heard other people talk about gold at 4550.
8:18
Seventy 80,000 to back all the debt to 300 trillion in debt
8:23
that we have in the world. What do you think that would do
8:26
to the silver price? Oh you know, right.
8:32
Can we say thousands? We'll see you know how all this
8:35
plays out but the world. And we talked about the Steve
8:38
Forbes. Yes, that's Steve Forbes right.
8:40
The editor in chief of Forbes magazine has just publicly
8:44
stated the world is lurching towards the gold standard.
8:49
These little things that happen in Zimbabwe, these big things
8:53
that are happening in the BRICS countries, guys, the world is is
8:59
by default going back to what real money is.
9:02
There's some law, right? I forget what it's called.
9:04
I don't think it's Gresham's law, but good money replaces the
9:08
bad money. And I'm telling you that's what
9:10
we're seeing right now. This is some unbelievably I
9:13
thought this was one of the best pieces of analysis and it's
9:16
fast, but they're talking about $8000 gold.
9:21
This is from FX Empire Gold Price Forecast.
9:24
The bull run in gold miners. But don't worry guys, this this
9:28
covers silver, platinum, and the mining stocks.
9:31
And this is short but powerful. A couple really cool grass they
9:35
have in here. After years of going nowhere,
9:38
Gold launched into the next stage of its bull market.
9:41
While the inexperienced investor might feel inclined to
9:45
capitalize on recent profits, such a move could prove
9:48
detrimental in the long run. Gold and silver miners have
9:52
underperformed the metal for years.
9:54
Recent evidence suggests that they may be that may be changing
9:58
now. This is interesting.
10:00
The gold cycle indicator. It says our gold cycle indicator
10:06
finished at 2:36. We hedge our mining portfolio
10:11
once it advances above 350. Let me see if I can pull this up
10:17
for you, which I can, OK. This really cool little wheel,
10:21
that's their gold cycle indicator is still on neutral
10:26
guys. OK, It's got a long way to go.
10:30
Imagine that dial getting turned to the right and that's when it
10:33
would be in the topping phase, minimum and maximum.
10:38
They're saying there's still a long, long way to go for for the
10:42
gold price. And you know what?
10:44
That means. The same thing for silver.
10:46
But don't worry, they talk about silver down here as well.
10:50
So let's see what they had to say about our friend silver.
10:54
We'll get to that gold monthly. The monthly gold chart confirmed
10:58
a major breakout, and we think prices could test $3000 in 2024.
11:06
I think Citibank agrees with them.
11:08
And I'm telling you, that's 5055.
11:11
I mean, silver goes, it's gonna really go $5560 silver by 20-30.
11:19
Sit down. All right, hold on to your
11:21
socks, 'cause they're they might get knocked off here by 20-30.
11:25
We see prices trading over $8000 and again guys, here is why I
11:31
think this is a great chart when we look at this is gold, right,
11:35
going all the way back to what, 1994.
11:37
Up, up, up, up, up. Here we are in 2011, right about
11:42
2000 we do the big cup. OK.
11:45
Up till what was that, 2021, right?
11:48
That's the That's the cup. Here's the handle and we have
11:53
broken out right. This is the most powerful, the
11:57
most reliable technical chart pattern in the.
12:00
History of the. Universe.
12:03
Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but it is very
12:06
highly regarded and some people do call it and they also, here's
12:10
the critical thing when you're looking at this cup and handle
12:13
in gold is that it happened over such a long period of time, 14
12:17
years. And the longer the period of
12:20
time, the more reliable and the more powerful the move is and
12:24
we're seeing that right here. Do you like the looks of this
12:27
blue? Line that goes up to 8000 by
12:31
2030. Let's get rid of the question
12:33
mark. I'll cover it up with my little
12:34
pointer there. There we go by 2030 in the near
12:41
term, gold is consolidating. We got to remember that guys,
12:44
right? We we could see a gold pull
12:46
back. After spiking the 2450, we think
12:49
prices could challenge 2500 before slipping into the next
12:54
four months cycle low in mid June.
12:57
So these guys are being realistic.
12:59
They're saying we can see a pull back in the gold price by mid
13:03
June all right now. Let's go to silver.
13:06
Silver is taking a breather. After spiking above $29.00 we
13:10
see the potential for a significant short squeeze above.
13:14
30 exactly. I'm telling you, this is the
13:18
most exciting metal on the face of the earth, right?
13:22
I hear all types of the the guys out there.
13:25
Gregory Mannarino, Who's the guy?
13:27
Economic ninja. All the, all the.
13:32
Everybody saying silver is the most undervalued asset on the
13:36
face of the earth? And how many times have we
13:39
talked? About the fact.
13:40
That once once silver gets above 3032, it is a clear shot in my
13:47
opinion. Don't make any financial
13:49
decisions based on what I'm saying, but a clear shot up to
13:53
50. Look, I talked about $2600 gold
13:57
in May of this year and everybody thought we were crazy
14:01
for talking about that. We are still within cannon shot
14:06
of hitting that $2600 mark. And I'm telling you, when silver
14:10
gets above that $32 in my mind is the for all intents and
14:16
purposes the all time high. There just aren't a lot of
14:20
people who bought silver at 38. Forty $45 per oz.
14:26
Very few people waiting for silver to get up there so they
14:30
can sell. That means there won't be
14:32
sellers. That means silver investors, Can
14:35
you imagine how would you feel if we had a silver price $10
14:39
higher right now, right. You wouldn't be thinking about
14:41
selling. You might think you'd be
14:43
thinking about selling, but you wouldn't.
14:45
No, nobody is. And my gosh, with everything
14:48
going out on in the world with silver, the Chinese government
14:53
telling their citizens that now would be a good time to start
14:56
investing in silver. I heard somebody say the other
14:59
day there's only 1.4 billion people in China.
15:04
So imagine if everybody bought just one ounce.
15:06
Oh oh, that would pretty much wipe out the world supply of
15:11
silver that's created every year through mining and recycling
15:15
efforts. I digress.
15:19
Currently silver prices are consolidating ahead of next
15:22
week's Fed announcement. What the Fed's going to talk No,
15:27
isn't that what the Fed's good at talking?
15:29
Platinum, We'll just touch on. Platinum here remains deeply
15:32
undervalued, and we see prices trading at parity with gold
15:36
later in the decade. Listen to this It says in the
15:39
early 2000s, platinum prices were often double that of gold.
15:44
That would be like almost $5000 platinum right now, but we know
15:48
it's, last I checked. Still hovering below.
15:53
Let's go check. Platinum's below 1000, right?
15:56
Yeah, 941 per oz. Now let's talk about the mining
16:02
stocks real quickly. The pattern in miners is
16:05
remarkably symmetrical. The recent pullback in the GDX
16:08
to 3250 appears to be complete, and we see miners taking the
16:13
lead and outperforming metals from here.
16:16
GDXJ, same thing. OK, OK.
16:20
The big deal silver miners, right?
16:23
Pretty much the same thing, guys.
16:25
The big deal here to remember with the silver miners and the
16:29
gold miners is they have not kept up with the massive price
16:33
increases that we saw in gold in particular and silver.
16:39
There's a big gap. Either the the metals have to
16:42
come down or the miners are going to have to go up.
16:45
And do you think the metals are gonna come down?
16:48
They could, we could get some consolidation.
16:50
But we don't care what this is. We know, we know that the future
16:54
looks super bright for the metals, right.
16:57
If we get this June consolidation, the gold bull
16:59
market is in full swing and sub 2000 prices may be forever.
17:04
In the past we talked, we talked about that months ago, right.
17:08
We are probably never going to see a gold price that starts
17:12
with A1 until we're talking about 10,000 per oz.
17:17
Gold miners are on the move and have a lot of potential.
17:21
Silver could rip to the upside once it gets above $30.00.
17:26
I we agree with these people. This is from AG Thorson,
17:30
apparently he was the author here from the FX Empire website.
17:34
So I don't know guys, right? Am I alone in seeing this
17:40
future? I mean it is unbelievable.
17:42
Silver also broke out of this long term wedge.
17:46
Remember the wedgie, right? Silver had been pushed.
17:49
Is is broken out of that another big let's go Silver.
17:52
Hi ho Silver. Oh wait, I love gold.
17:56
I love gold mining stocks. But man, I love.
17:59
Silver. Physical Silver.
18:01
I know you guys do too. Let's talk about.
18:04
Briefly. Big news the.
18:06
Bank failed. We had a bank failure on Friday.
18:08
Why do they always do it on Friday night?
18:10
Why? Think about that.
18:13
Do you think? Why isn't it funny?
18:15
Isn't it a little suspicious to you?
18:17
Never. You know things that I hate
18:19
this, but I'm gonna say it. Things that make you go.
18:22
You ever wonder why so many banks fail on Friday night after
18:27
the market closes? Every single bank.
18:30
I mean, what do they like? Takes them all week to tally up
18:33
the numbers and say, you know what, you know what, We're
18:36
broke. We better fail this bank.
18:40
It's always Friday night. We had a not a huge bank, but a
18:44
big regional bank go broke on Friday night.
18:47
Two big things, right? Things that make you go home or
18:51
home or whatever however you want to do it.
18:53
Let's talk about this. Remember the BTFP, the bank term
18:58
funding program went bye bye like a month and a half ago.
19:03
All right guys, that was the bailout for all these banks that
19:07
have all they're all well most of the banks out there are.
19:12
I don't want to use insolve it. It's the only word I can use,
19:16
right. They don't have enough money to
19:18
cover all the deposits, not all the banks.
19:22
I'm not trying to close this, but it's just a a reality.
19:25
They say they do because, right. Because because they are able to
19:30
to not realize their losses. They would.
19:33
I'm telling you, it'd be like you telling your wife, hey, I'm
19:38
going to take that 100,000 that we have we have in our bank and
19:42
I'm going to transfer to a brokerage account and I'm going
19:44
to buy XYZ company stock. And you buy the XYZ company
19:49
stock. And then a year later, right,
19:52
Instead of having 100 grand because you didn't make a good a
19:55
good stock pick, it's instead of being worth 100, it's worth 60
19:59
grand. And you're like, what?
20:00
You know what, honey? We're just not going to.
20:02
We're not going to realize it. We're not going to realize that
20:05
we've lost that money. And that's fine, right?
20:07
It'll come back. It always comes back, honey.
20:10
It always comes back until your little, your honey or your
20:13
husband, whatever. Doesn't matter.
20:15
We have ladies that are watching us now.
20:17
Says. Hey, I want to use that 100
20:19
grand that we used to buy that stock to to to to remodel the
20:24
house and you say, well, I got to tell you, we got a little
20:28
trouble. I didn't, we didn't realize
20:31
this, but that's that stock's only worth 60,000.
20:34
That's exactly the situation that the banks are in.
20:38
Now. I'm hearing different numbers,
20:40
but I think according to the Fed or according to the FDIC,
20:43
there's like 600 billion worth of unrealized losses sitting on
20:48
bank balance sheets, maybe even higher than that.
20:52
And the absolutely frightening thing is that rates are AT and
20:58
we've looked at this chart too many times, but rates are at A
21:01
at a point right now that are putting so much stress.
21:05
Think about this. Think about this right The
21:08
interest rates now are higher than they were fourteen months
21:12
ago when we had like these massive bank failures where they
21:16
had to create the BT. Are we heading?
21:18
We could be heading into very, very, very scary times.
21:22
OK, we are in. How does this make you feel as
21:26
an American now? Hopefully this scares you.
21:29
I don't want to come on here and you know, but we're being real.
21:33
This is why you own silver and gold.
21:35
We are in the exponential phase of a debt problem in the United
21:41
States. Government Debt, corporate debt,
21:44
consumer debt, anywhere you want to slice it or dice it, Auto
21:48
debt, student loan debt, credit card debt, they all fit into the
21:51
same big We are in the exponential phase.
21:55
Is it any wonder? So now I want you to ponder this
21:58
question. The gold price is exploding,
22:02
huh? Right.
22:02
We hear that, right? The gold price is exploding, but
22:06
it's really exploding in foreign currencies in the United
22:10
Kingdom, in Canada, right. Not just the dollar.
22:13
OK, not just the dollar. It's, it's.
22:17
But this is. And I'm, I got, I got, I got not
22:20
yelled at, but this was brought up to me, and I've heard other
22:22
people say this as well. It's not so much that the price
22:27
of gold is exploding higher. It's the fact that these Fiat
22:31
currencies are imploding right now. the US dollar, the yen,
22:37
right? There's all kinds of craziness
22:39
going on right now. With the Japanese yen, it hit
22:41
like a 30. Four year low today.
22:43
There's a little tidbit you can use when you go to the I bet
22:46
you're gonna go to the club, the Country Club for lunch.
22:50
You can tell your friend. Did you hear the yen?
22:53
Is it a 34 year low against the dollar?
22:55
Right. It's not that the gold price is
22:58
going up and we don't even want to think of gold in terms of
23:01
dollars or yen or EUR or silver. Same thing.
23:04
No, we think of it in terms of Oz.
23:06
But the reason why, when you do decide to price it in Unicorn
23:10
fart, dust paper, Fiat, promissory, funny money, the
23:15
list goes on and on, right? The reason it is going up so
23:18
much is because those currencies are imploding.
23:22
Rising gold is a symptom. Rising gold, measured in Fiat
23:26
currency, is a symptom of failing currency or currencies.
23:32
OK oh, hey, something so critical.
23:36
I wanted to tell you about that. Oh, it's like it's like this.
23:39
Think about it like this. I want you to think of three
23:42
ships on the ocean. All of them are sinking.
23:46
The SSUS dollar, the S S Japanese yen, and the S S Euro.
23:51
Three ships, they all are taking on water.
23:55
OK, but one of them sinking faster than the all of them.
23:58
All. That's the yen, right?
24:00
They're really in trouble. The yen ship is all the
24:02
Japanese. Like, I'll get me off this boat,
24:04
right? The Euro ship is also sinking.
24:07
Not as fast as the in the dollar 'cause, you know, the dollar's
24:10
strong. The dollar.
24:11
This is this is. Mind blowing to me when I hear
24:15
these, you know, CNBC people saying, well, the dollar's been
24:19
so strong, right? So the dollar, the s s dollar
24:22
ship is the ship that's sinking the slowest of all three of the
24:26
ships, right? But this, this is, is, is, is,
24:31
is, is good news for us precious metal investors because even
24:36
though, even though right, the dollar's so strong, guess what's
24:41
even stronger? The gold price and the silver
24:44
price. And what does that tell you?
24:47
What does that tell us? That tells us that in real terms
24:51
real, not make believe. You know they're over in
24:54
fantasyland over here. Oh, the dollar, the yen, blah,
24:57
blah, blah. In real world, that's where we
25:00
are, baby. You're in the basement.
25:02
We're in the real world. The dollar is losing value in
25:06
real terms. There's no other way to say it
25:09
if the dollar is so quote UN quote strong.
25:12
But the gold price is a little bit stronger and the silver
25:16
price lately. A little bit lap, bit stronger.
25:20
That can only mean one thing, right?
25:22
Gold and silver are the king. All right, we got a lot more to
25:25
talk about the world. Oh, we got, we got, we have.
25:29
What's the word? I wrote down rebellion.
25:32
We have rebellion within the world of central banks, right?
25:36
That's also different. Right now I think it was
25:39
Switzerland raised rates, things are falling apart, OK.
25:44
And as the Fed is only now engaging in perception
25:49
management, be ready, be ready for Wednesday.
25:52
We're going to get, we're going to get a big dose of perception
25:55
man higher for longer. We're going to Bah Bah and gold
25:59
and silver are over there laughing, saying whatever.
26:01
Jerome, you are in a sinking ship on the bottom of the ocean
26:06
at this point. Right.
26:08
Like Charlie Brown school teacher.
26:10
That's that's what we're how we're going to listen to.
26:12
What do you say? What do you say No, sorry.
26:16
Right. We got to go to Charlie Brown
26:18
math class. And when we do that and we apply
26:20
basic mathematical principles to what's going on, it's not a good
26:24
thing. OK, Be your own central banker.
26:28
That's the solution for all of this, all right?
26:31
If you if you realize that what's going on out there is a
26:35
mirage, right? You can.
26:37
You can own silver. You can own gold.
26:39
That's the solution. You can be your own central.
26:43
I mean, isn't it awesome, right? If you own some of it?
26:49
How many? 200, yes.
26:51
You. Do.
26:52
OK, I gotta ring the cowbell. And then we're gonna talk about
26:55
how you can be your own central banker 200 thumbs up.
26:58
Let's ring the bell. There's the 200 thumbs up bell
27:05
from our old friend Joe F Isn't it wonderful?
27:09
You can you can do what the central banks around the world
27:13
are doing. Sometimes we get so lost in the
27:16
minutiae of all of this, we forget the good news.
27:21
Right? You can go to Pimbex, You can
27:24
buy some silver, You can buy some gold, You can buy some
27:26
plant. You can do what?
27:28
The central banks are doing. You can do it for yourself if
27:32
that's what you think is a smart thing to do.
27:34
I'm not giving financial advice. I can tell you what I do right
27:38
now. I own gold mining stocks and I
27:40
own some silver. I don't keep it at the house,
27:43
but none the less I do own physical silver now, guys.
27:46
You can do that too. That's the the solution to all
27:50
of this, if that's what you choose to do.
27:53
All right. Oh, this is interesting.
27:57
We talk about massive amounts of money coming into gold and
28:02
silver when people wake up, right?
28:04
Five times as much money, 10 times, who knows?
28:07
We could see 20 times as much money because the amount of
28:11
money in the West going into gold and silver right now is
28:14
pretty subdued. We will say, right?
28:17
It's a different story in China, India, the rest of the world.
28:20
But in the West, it's pretty it's fairly subdued.
28:24
One of the big drivers, right? There's a couple of big drivers.
28:29
And when people wake up, then inflation's not going away, when
28:32
people wake up that we are screwed.
28:36
I think I can use that word from a financial debt perspective in
28:40
this country. But one of the biggies for the
28:44
average people is when they realize that the stock market is
28:49
toast, right. People had been asleep in this
28:53
country for the last 2530 years. All you had to do was put money
28:56
in the in the market and it just went up and up and up.
28:59
And look, I'm Rich. I would put out there that maybe
29:03
that's not the case. That.
29:04
That maybe. Yeah, nominally right now.
29:07
I mean, if I'd made a bunch of money in the stock market over
29:10
the last 20-30 years, I'd be buying physical metal.
29:13
I'd be buying, you know, monster boxes full of American Silver
29:17
Eagles. I'd be converting right now
29:20
because guys when we're in stagflation, the the stock
29:24
market isn't going to go anywhere and it could even drop,
29:28
right? And that could could prompt be
29:31
one of the other big prompts where we see big amounts of
29:34
money, right? Remember the extras pyramid
29:36
coming down and going into silver and gold, It could be a
29:42
massive impact on the price of the precious metals.
29:46
So be prepared now that what we looked at earlier, the gold and
29:50
silver stocks, they could do what happened during the 70s,
29:54
they could outperform everything, right?
29:57
I'm not, again I don't have a crystal ball, but when you look
30:01
at where the silver and gold mining stocks are right now from
30:04
a relative value perspective, they've got a lot of room and
30:08
and from a pure fundamental perspective they have a lot of
30:11
room to run. On that note, I want to say
30:14
thank you to channel sponsor First Mining Gold, they're a
30:17
gold development company. If you want gold in the ground
30:21
that's in the permitting process.
30:23
Massive multi million ounce projects, two of them in Canada
30:28
that the big guys, the new monts of the world are going to need
30:31
to be looking at as they try to refill their pipelines in the
30:35
future. Go check out First Mining Gold
30:37
at firstmininggold.com and Fortuna Silver.
30:41
You know, what else can I say? For almost 20 years they've
30:44
grown this company into AI. Won't say a juggernaut, but a
30:49
big well performing mining company.
30:53
They've got operations in Latin America, 2 silver mines, one big
30:57
gold mine in Argentina, and they have this rapidly expanding
31:02
operation in West Africa. They have a mine in Burkina Faso
31:06
and a mine in Cote d'Ivoire, the Seguela mine, which is doing
31:10
phenomenally well right now and an exciting development
31:14
opportunity in Oh my gosh, Senegal.
31:17
Almost forgot. Yeah, it's hard to remember all
31:19
this stuff off the top of my mind.
31:20
You can learn more about Fortuna at fortunasilver.com.
31:26
The strong dollar. We talked about that, right?
31:29
Look, if the dollar that this is what I forgot.
31:31
I forgot to tell you something very, very critical about that
31:35
strong dollar thing. Think about this, buttercup.
31:39
If the dollar was so darn strong, right?
31:42
If this. Where'd it go?
31:44
I'll show you a strong dollar, right?
31:46
My friend Gary sent me this. Hey, there's a dollar, right?
31:49
Wrong. That's not a dollar.
31:52
Look at the bottom. Can you read it?
31:54
You may not be able to read it. Underneath where it says $1.00
31:57
it says a $1.00 in silver payable to the bearer on demand.
32:06
This is when the dollar was backed with silver.
32:09
OK And it says at the top, this is very interesting.
32:12
Right here above where it says the United States of America, it
32:16
says this certifies that there is on deposit in the treasury of
32:23
the United States of America and then it says $1.00 in silver
32:28
payable to the bearer on demand. You could go to the bank with
32:33
this baby. This was a real dollar.
32:35
This was a strong dollar. This was the dollar that that
32:39
that over 180 years allowed the United States to have the most,
32:45
the, the, the, the biggest amount of economic growth in the
32:48
history of the planet when it was backed by silver.
32:52
This is not the strong dollar If this dollar, this paper dollar.
32:56
Woo Hoo Yee wee. Right.
32:58
Cannot. Oh, they they took that part
33:00
off. See, look at the bottom.
33:02
They took that part off. OK?
33:05
If this dollar was so strong, huh?
33:08
Right. If it really was strong, I got
33:10
news for you. Silver would be at 14 bucks.
33:14
Gold would be at 16112 hundred. You you remember those days?
33:19
If the world has changed, you better wake up, realize it.
33:24
The world has changed. You know who realized it?
33:26
President Xi from China, Vladimir Putin from Russia.
33:31
Yeah, MBS over in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Brazil, South Africa,
33:38
they're all realizing that the world has changed.
33:40
We are in a new, new paradigm, a new world.
33:44
OK, it gets even better. We're gonna hear Wednesday from
33:49
the Fed higher for longer. OK, yeah.
33:53
You scare us. Don't scare us, Jerome.
33:55
Well, let's get Jerome out here. Oh, here he is.
33:59
Here. You ready?
34:02
Higher for longer. Sorry, Jerome, back in your box.
34:07
You're not scaring us anymore. OK, this is crazy.
34:12
This is, this is something that well to not overuse the term a
34:18
silver and gold investors, this should give us a case of a warm
34:21
and fuzzies. Is that why we come together?
34:23
Right. We're like, we're like all
34:25
around a campfire together right now here in the basement, right.
34:29
We're at Camp Silver, Camp Gold. Think about this, OK?
34:35
the Fed is not just fighting a monetary crisis, which they are.
34:41
The Fed's not just fighting against a fiscal crisis, which
34:46
they are, OK, but they're also fighting geopolitical crisis.
34:52
They are cooked. I'm sorry.
34:54
They are the ship on the bottom of the ocean.
34:57
OK, it's, I'm not saying we're going to be in doom land
35:00
tomorrow or anything like that. But they are cooked.
35:03
Don't fight the Fed. Have you heard that right?
35:06
Remember that? You ever heard that saying?
35:08
Don't fight the Fed. Don't fight the Fed.
35:10
And you know what the reality is?
35:13
You were fighting the Fed. If you if you were investing in
35:16
silver and gold and miners, let's say 15 years ago, eight
35:22
years ago, five years ago, even just three, we were fighting the
35:27
Fed. But I got good news for you,
35:29
Matt. Matt, double dose of the warm
35:32
and fuzzies. Who doesn't like that?
35:33
Right, it's. Who doesn't want you want to
35:35
feel good? You can feel good, All right?
35:38
You can feel good, OK? Because like I said, the Fed
35:41
fighting monetary crisis, fiscal crisis, geopolitical crisis.
35:46
Are there any more social crisis in the United States?
35:49
Right. Massive uprisings on college
35:52
campuses right now as we speak. OK, it's a Fed is in trouble.
35:57
But on top of it all, OK, the big one that's gonna be helpful
36:02
for you as a silver investor, as a gold investor, is that you're
36:06
no longer fighting the Fed. It's hard to fight.
36:11
It's hard to fight. Somebody who is now pretty much
36:16
defenseless has been neutered. Is a good way to say it, right?
36:20
They don't have the power they had five years ago, Heck, three
36:24
years ago especially. Is that a word I get in trouble
36:29
for using words that aren't words in particular, right?
36:33
the Fed was way more powerful 20 years ago.
36:36
They shot their load. They burnt through all their
36:39
ammunition right Now think about it like this, right?
36:43
Think about the Fed is like in a trench with a machine gun.
36:47
They've been shooting, they're shooting in the air.
36:49
They during the C19, they they they they've been blowing
36:53
through all their ammunition, right?
36:54
And then the people on the other side are like.
36:56
Whoa. We need to be afraid of the Fed.
36:58
We need to be afraid of the Fed. Now they're down to their last
37:01
few bullets. So what are they going to do?
37:04
What would you do if you were in a gunfight, right, And trench
37:07
war and you were out of bullets? You might start yelling and
37:11
screaming, saying you. Better give up.
37:13
Or we're we. We're really gonna blow you up.
37:15
Or you would use words. You would use perception
37:18
management. You would use public relations,
37:22
right. They used to be a bank.
37:27
Yeah. He used to be a banker.
37:30
He's a lawyer or something. I don't know.
37:32
They're not that anymore, right When they were this backed by
37:37
see that one it says there, right.
37:39
They were a bank. They were real.
37:42
Now they're just words and perception management, you know,
37:46
So guys I got, it's like, it's like and I could be wrong,
37:52
right? Susie will tell you I'm wrong
37:53
about 28% of the time. But it's like a boxing match,
37:59
right. And the Fed's been fighting and
38:00
oh the Fed. The Fed's on the on the mat
38:03
right now, OK? And and knocked out, right.
38:08
Could come back right again, right?
38:10
Could be Rocky. But the Fed's not Rocky Balboa.
38:14
You know who? Rocky Balboa.
38:15
Is don't you Rocky Balboa is gold and silver, huh?
38:21
Yeah. Yeah.
38:22
I wonder if we can get to 300 thumbs up today.
38:25
Maybe Susie will let me know. On the walkie.
38:27
Everybody say hi to Susie. We got a lot more to talk about.
38:30
Susie. Hi.
38:32
How many thumbs up we have? I hear her walking around.
38:35
She's right above me. OK, oh, we got to talk about.
38:39
We got to talk about the Hunt brothers.
38:41
Hi everyone. Susie, how many thumbs up do we
38:46
have? 3. 94 oh boy.
38:51
Guys, all right, we're going to get the 300 thumbs up, which
38:53
means we are going to ring the gong today.
38:55
But let's talk about the Hunt Brothers in something.
38:58
This is my oh, OK. This is, this is great.
39:01
This is my friend Jamie, too. All right, let's go.
39:03
Look. Let's go take a look at this.
39:05
Hold on here. Here he is this guy, Jamie
39:10
Carrasco. If you don't know him, you
39:13
should follow him on Twitter. OK.
39:15
He's a senior investment advisor and senior portfolio manager at
39:19
Canaccord Genuity Financial. I'll be honest with you.
39:23
I had the opportunity to spend a day with him.
39:26
He's up in Toronto, one of the smartest guys in the room.
39:30
Super smart guy, super funny. And I'll tell you a funny, a
39:34
little funny story about something we did together in a
39:36
minute, but let's talk about some serious business here, he
39:39
says. Force majeure, which means, as I
39:42
understand it, like the Comex and the LBMA saying get they
39:45
give up the Comex broken broke. The LBMA broke is not about.
39:51
If. But when when it does the price
39:55
will finally inflate with with 40 years of credit.
40:02
Thank you Susie credit pressure behind it.
40:04
This I want to highlight this. OK force majeure is not about if
40:08
but when but when the price will find.
40:12
But when, sorry, when it does OK, the price will finally
40:17
inflate. With 40 years of credit pressure
40:21
being, I can't, I, I I I understand what he's saying.
40:25
I'm going to do my best to explain it to you.
40:26
Why this is like this is like the ultimate, the ultimate warm
40:32
and fuzzy. I was going to use a different
40:34
word. What that means is when the when
40:35
it breaks, guys, we've got all this 40 years of money printing.
40:40
Remember the other day I showed you how it was like the price of
40:45
of of of the S&P or I don't know, It compared the price of
40:50
silver in 1980 to the S&P. I'm sorry to the Dow Jones.
40:55
And the Dow has gone. The Dow was 1000 at the time.
40:57
The Dow is now 38,000. Since 1980, the Dow has gone up
41:01
38 times, right? 40 years basically of of of
41:07
credit pressure. That's what caused that money
41:10
printing. But in that same time period,
41:13
when the Dow went up 38 times, silver's down by 50 percent,
41:18
40%, whatever. Now this is what's interesting
41:21
then because Jamie shared this tweet from the chart, Deejen
41:26
says the Hunt brothers cornered the cornered silver and made it
41:30
go 10X. Think about this.
41:32
Chinese and Indian demand is cornering the physical market
41:37
right before our eyes and might force 1 billion ounces of naked
41:43
paper shorts to potentially cover at massive losses.
41:48
Hashtag silver squeeze for the ages now, but look at this.
41:53
Let me hold on a second here guys, so we can see this full
42:00
chart. There we go.
42:02
Oh, here we are. It says here, this is back, this
42:05
is 1980. The green arrow, the green box.
42:08
Two brothers cornered the market.
42:10
What happens when China and India's market corners the
42:13
market? Right.
42:14
There's the cup in silver. OK, And there is the handle.
42:20
What happens? Thank you Jamie, for showing
42:23
that. Jamie and I, this guy's not only
42:25
super smart, but he's a super good 5 pin bowler as well.
42:31
We we did some bowling. I was up in Toronto and we went
42:34
up into northern Quebec to visit a gold mine one of first mining
42:36
gold mines. And this guy Jamie, he can do
42:39
magic in the 55 pin bowling alley.
42:44
More importantly, he's not full of bowl.
42:47
He knows what he's talking about when it comes when it comes to
42:51
silver and gold. So thank you Jamie for that that
42:54
great tweet, that great information.
42:58
Oh, we got more, we got more, we got more.
43:00
Hold on here. Let's go over to look at this is
43:04
another one that will that will absolutely blow you away.
43:09
Gold and gold miners as a percentage of total global
43:14
assets. This is from Crescat Capital.
43:17
OK. Guys, guys, this is what we
43:20
talked about. What?
43:21
Would you think? Take a step back.
43:23
What would you think if we had 26 times the amount of money
43:30
coming into gold and silver and the precious metal mining
43:34
stocks? What do you think it would do to
43:35
the gold price, the silver price, the platinum price, The
43:38
price of any precious metal mining stock?
43:42
Gold and gold miners as a percentage of total global
43:45
assets. Look at this 28%, Nineteen 2120%
43:49
Nineteen 3230% in 1948. Twenty 6% in 1981, 1% today.
44:03
Wow. OK.
44:06
Are are you? Are you?
44:08
This almost seems. I'll be honest with you seem
44:11
almost seems unbelievable to me, right?
44:14
But we hear this from Rick rule from other people .5 percent 1%.
44:19
Whatever the number is. Here's the crazy good news.
44:23
We don't have to get to 26%. If we get to 5%. 5%.
44:30
That's five times as much money going into the precious metal
44:35
sector. And like Jamie just talked
44:37
about, because there's been so much credit, expansion, paper,
44:42
Unicorn fart dust, money created over the world.
44:46
Over the last 40 years. That's in stocks, it's in bonds,
44:49
it's in derivatives, it's in crypto, it's in all these
44:53
different things. It's not going to take.
44:55
It just takes a little bit of that money flowing into gold and
44:59
silver for this number to go from 1% to 5%.
45:03
I mean, it's real. This is, this is real.
45:07
We could. Be right.
45:08
We could be on the cusp of one of the greatest opportunities
45:13
for wealth creation in the history of the world.
45:16
I don't have a crystal ball. You need to do your own due
45:19
diligence. But I can tell you I oh, yeah, I
45:22
got to ring the gong. And then we got, we got one
45:24
more. Then we got more More.
45:27
That means, I'm sorry, it's just what I see, higher, higher,
45:33
higher, higher prices for gold and silver.
45:36
I'm going to ring the gong three times because we got 300 thumbs
45:40
up and that's because of you. And you know what?
45:42
I'm going to butter you up one more time.
45:43
It is a big deal. All 800 of you who are joining
45:47
right now on YouTube alone, but we're on Twitter and Facebook as
45:50
well. Man, thank you for being here.
45:53
Thanks for being part of the basement.
45:55
Thanks for your input. Thanks for your comments in the
45:58
comment section. It all matters.
46:00
We got a great community of people here and it's really not
46:04
possible without you. Now, I know I look kind of dumb
46:07
when I do this, but you know, it's OK to look dumb just 10% of
46:12
the time, one of the coolest things ever.
46:23
All right, I've been good, right?
46:27
I didn't say it. I didn't say it the whole live
46:30
stream. I, I, I, I hope you've, you've
46:32
recognized, but I gotta say it because it's the biggest thing
46:36
going right now in the precious metals market and it will make
46:41
all the difference as we go from having 1% of the world's try.
46:46
For the train whistle today. OK, Susie wants me to try for
46:49
the train whistle. So if you haven't given us a
46:51
thumbs up, We're trying to get to 400 thumbs up so I can blow
46:55
down the brain. Our good friend, right Just
46:58
across the river. The wooden train whistle.
47:00
If we get to 400 thumbs up. Yes, I guess I'll look even
47:04
goofier than when I did the gong.
47:06
I will blow the train whistle for you.
47:08
But we'll see if we can get there.
47:10
Susie really wants it. Susie, why don't you?
47:12
Why don't you come on the walkie and and cheer everybody on for
47:15
just one second? Here, tell them to please give a
47:17
thumbs up over, please. Give a thumbs up so we can get
47:22
the train with us. Please, please, please.
47:25
OK. All right.
47:27
The biggest thing in the world. You want to keep Susie happy, by
47:32
the way. OK, so thumbs up.
47:33
The biggest thing in the world. And I, the S word guys, this.
47:37
I heard this said last night, and I was like, whoa.
47:40
I mean, I was, I had to grab my socks because they were getting
47:44
blown off. OK, commodities are exploding.
47:53
Oil prices up. Cocoa prices up.
47:56
Commodity. Now wait a minute, you say.
47:59
Oh. Well, big deal, Ron.
48:00
Big deal. It is a massive deal.
48:04
Here's why. How can we not have runaway
48:09
inflation when we have the commodities That and everything
48:14
in the world that everything you see, Look around, Buttercup,
48:19
look around your room where you are right now.
48:23
Everything you look at was either grown or mined, right?
48:28
Everything. All this plastic, all the metal
48:30
inside here, all this wood here, this was grown.
48:34
It's made out of wood, right? This was mined.
48:37
This is made out of oil and metal and stuff like that.
48:41
It's all exploding in prices. So how can you not have massive
48:50
inflation? Think about that.
48:52
Now plug that into a we have a very simple formula that we're
48:57
going to talk about. OK, you got massive inflation
49:01
coming, right? And the Fed can't control that
49:04
427. Oh, we got.
49:07
So I do do the whistle. I got to do the whistle.
49:10
Whistle. OK, I'll do the whistle.
49:12
One second. You plug that inflation into the
49:16
equation, OK? And you plug in the other part
49:20
of the equation over here, which is a stagnating economy.
49:25
I got news for you. They closed down a Burger King
49:28
by Six Flags in Saint Louis. They're closing restaurants
49:31
down. Everybody you talk to that's in
49:34
the business world will tell you that the that the economy is
49:39
slowing down. But don't tell Joe, OK?
49:42
Don't tell Joe. Right.
49:44
So what does that mean while we have inflation going up in the
49:49
economy going down? Boom, That's stagflation, right.
49:55
And that is, I won't get Jerome out again.
49:58
That's why you're going to hear nothing but a bunch of hot air
50:01
later in the week. And that, my friends, is what
50:05
makes the price of silver and gold explode on top of what
50:09
we've already talked about, Jamie Dimon, himself the CEO of
50:15
JP Morgan, recently, said. Right.
50:18
He thinks that this stagflation that we're going to be heading
50:21
into could be worse than the situation that we faced in the
50:25
70s and the 70s. Boys and girls we didn't have.
50:28
$34.8 trillion worth of debt. This is the biggest set up for
50:34
medals that we're likely going to see in our lifetime.
50:37
Hey, you guys have been awesome. I'm going to blow the old train
50:39
whistle here four times as a sign of thank you and
50:42
camaraderie. Thank you, Don.
50:44
Huh. Down the brain.
50:46
There it is. Huh.
50:47
There's the whistle. Train whistle.
50:59
Hey, have a great day. Thanks for being part of the
51:02
basement. We are in for a fun ride, right?
51:05
And I couldn't ask to be with a better group of people than you.
51:09
Take it easy, be good to yourself and I'll see you.
