Transcript
- 0:03Silver and Gold will be impacted this week by massive news
- 0:07stories. We're going to cover all of
- 0:08those. You want to know what's going to
- 0:10happen with Silver and Gold? We're going to get to the bottom
- 0:14of it in this video. We're also going to talk about
- 0:15the Hunt brothers. We're going to talk about a
- 0:18central bank rebellion. We're going to talk about a lot
- 0:21more. But let's dive in right away and
- 0:24take a look at what we have to expect this week from a news
- 0:28front. Because guys, it is a big, big
- 0:31week. We are at the Venviz economic
- 0:35calendar for this week. As you can see, nothing today,
- 0:39tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30th, nothing major.
- 0:44But if we go to Wednesday, that's when the real data starts
- 0:48coming in. This is data that will impact
- 0:51the silver and gold price. But is the Fed sunk?
- 0:53Is the Fed nothing but a big shipwreck?
- 0:56We're going to talk about that as well.
- 0:59But this Wednesday we'll get the ADP employment numbers.
- 1:02We'll then get the ISM manufacturing index.
- 1:05See that little red? Exclamation point.
- 1:08That means it's very impactful, very important.
- 1:10So we keeping an eye on that. Big news of the week though.
- 1:15This Wednesday at 2:00 PM Eastern down there at the very
- 1:19bottom, we're going to get the FOMC rate decision.
- 1:22What is that? The Federal Open Market
- 1:25Committee, Federal Reserve. That's what our old friend
- 1:27Jerome Powell's going to talk about.
- 1:30And and let's emphasize This is why it's such a big deal.
- 1:33It's nothing but talk at this point.
- 1:37He's going to talk about what's going on with rates.
- 1:40They'll be the big announcement. No one is expecting rates to get
- 1:44cut. No one is expecting rates to to
- 1:47rise, but what we're expecting and what now the market is
- 1:52priced in and we're gonna talk about why this is so important,
- 1:56what it means for the US dollar. But the big catch phrase now,
- 2:00right, you know they always have something they're talking about
- 2:03is quote UN quote higher for longer, so.
- 2:07We'll be, we'll be. Listening to what Jerome says,
- 2:10don't forget guys that he has become nothing but a public
- 2:14relations firm. Managing perceptions.
- 2:17I'm hearing it said many different ways.
- 2:20You know what? I got, I got.
- 2:22I got to spill the beans for you.
- 2:24Silver and gold have figured him out.
- 2:27Sorry, Jerome. Sorry.
- 2:29You know you can fool. You can still fool Wall Street.
- 2:34You can still fool a lot of the American public, but you can't.
- 2:38Fool silver and gold and you can't fool us.
- 2:40Basement dwellers. And by the way, basement
- 2:42dwellers, thank you for being here.
- 2:44Yes, I'm talking to you. It's a big deal.
- 2:47You're here. It's a big honor.
- 2:49Thank you. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 2:51Subscribe to the channel if you haven't.
- 2:53We'll put out a new piece of content every single day.
- 2:56Something about silver and gold. We'll have some fun.
- 2:58We'll joke around. You see your screen and that's
- 3:01it. What screen?
- 3:02Not you, but like your screen share.
- 3:05Yeah, that's what I want. OK?
- 3:07Sorry guys, Susie was yelling at me.
- 3:09We're looking at the economic. What?
- 3:13Oh, Susie was speaking loudly down the steps.
- 3:16She thought I was making a mistake.
- 3:17Let me go back here. Yep.
- 3:20Nope. That's what I want.
- 3:21Thank you, though, Susie. And hold on.
- 3:27OK, where was I? OK, back to the economic
- 3:32calendar. And thank you for the Super
- 3:34chats, guys. Friday is another major day that
- 3:38will impact the price of silver and gold.
- 3:41That's when we get the employment numbers.
- 3:43OK, non farm payrolls Friday morning.
- 3:46We'll also get the unemployment rate.
- 3:49Now we got to realize. All right.
- 3:50Here. I'll get you back.
- 3:51Susie. Susie was afraid you guys were
- 3:53missing seeing my face. Welcome back to the basement,
- 3:56Basement dwellers. We got to realize all this
- 4:00stuff, all these numbers especially right now, what are
- 4:04we, six months, seven months before a big election.
- 4:07Those numbers are make believe fairy land numbers and anyway
- 4:12right the GDP numbers, the inflation numbers, the the, the
- 4:16big employment number that we'll get this week, they are going to
- 4:20be manipulated and massage to work into whatever they want to
- 4:25do here for the next 6 to 8 months leading up to the
- 4:28election, right so that they can do whatever policy moves they.
- 4:33The bottom line is the absolute bottom line for you to remember
- 4:37and me to remember is gold and silver have them figured out.
- 4:41Let's run out the Pemex real quick and just see we were
- 4:44struggling a little bit this morning with the gold price and
- 4:47the silver price. We're going to refresh.
- 4:50Hey, Silver's. Green Thank you, Pemex.
- 4:53We love when there's green numbers at the top of the
- 4:56screen. Green at the top of the screen.
- 4:59Hey, while we're here, let's say thank you to channel sponsor
- 5:01Pimbex Pi MB EX. As you can see on my screen,
- 5:07they are an online bullion dealer.
- 5:10I worked with them before they sponsored the basement.
- 5:13It's a great place to buy gold, silver, platinum group metals,
- 5:18right? But you want to work with a
- 5:19company you can trust. I found.
- 5:21I trust Pimbex, and I know a lot of our fellow basement dwellers
- 5:25trust Pinbex as well. I get e-mail after e-mail.
- 5:29What you get at Pinbex are the best prices, great selection,
- 5:33and great service. If you ever want to convert part
- 5:35or all of an IRA into precious metals, check out what they can
- 5:40do for you in that regard as well.
- 5:42I think we'll always find that when we deal with Pinbex, we get
- 5:46good quality and more metal for our money.
- 5:49Let's go back and let's look at each other again.
- 5:52Hello, my friends, basement dwellers, You know, think about
- 5:56it. We're all together.
- 5:57We're all over the world. The last few days I've said, hey
- 6:00guys, put in the chat where you're joining us from.
- 6:03We are like dispersed all over the United States, but all over
- 6:07the world as well, right? But we are an elite group of
- 6:11people that understands, right, understands what's going on in
- 6:16the system, the dollar being printed into oblivion.
- 6:19We're going to talk a little bit more about that a little bit
- 6:22later. But the one thing, right, the
- 6:24medicine, the elixir, if that's the right word for that, are
- 6:28gold and silver. It's becoming by the day.
- 6:32Are you experiencing this more and more clear?
- 6:35To me, right. Inflation is theft.
- 6:39Inflation is theft. Why would you work?
- 6:43I was talking to my dad last night.
- 6:44Like, why would somebody work for this stuff?
- 6:47Gotta make sure I get the right one 'cause I have a silver
- 6:49certificate over there. Right?
- 6:51You work for this, right? Us, us, unfortunate middle class
- 6:56Americans, and store our wealth in this and it's guaranteed to
- 7:00go down in value. Are you kidding me?
- 7:03Yes, they must be kidding me. It's a shipwreck.
- 7:06OK, They're going to manipulate the data that we get this week.
- 7:09Again, big news Wednesday, the Fed decision.
- 7:13Big news Friday. The employment numbers, the
- 7:16employment numbers, the Bureau of Labor and Statistics are a
- 7:21complete joke. I'm sorry.
- 7:24That's what they are. Sure.
- 7:26Yeah, we we won't even get into it.
- 7:28But let's just realize the jobs in all of these numbers are
- 7:32going to be are going to be massaged and manipulated to suit
- 7:35whatever agenda that the government and the Fed has, OK,
- 7:39we are seekers of truth, all right?
- 7:41Or as close to the truth as we can get.
- 7:43Look, just don't listen to me. Do your own due diligence,
- 7:46listen to other people, listen to opinions and form your own
- 7:49opinions. But interesting, I heard Lynette
- 7:52Zhang say just last night in an interview that she's she did
- 7:57some some back of the napkin calculating this is gonna blow
- 8:00you away on the gold price. And she calculated that it would
- 8:04take almost a $40,000 gold price to back all the debt, all the
- 8:10currency in the world and are we moving toward that right.
- 8:15And I've heard other people talk about gold at 4550.
- 8:18Seventy 80,000 to back all the debt to 300 trillion in debt
- 8:23that we have in the world. What do you think that would do
- 8:26to the silver price? Oh you know, right.
- 8:32Can we say thousands? We'll see you know how all this
- 8:35plays out but the world. And we talked about the Steve
- 8:38Forbes. Yes, that's Steve Forbes right.
- 8:40The editor in chief of Forbes magazine has just publicly
- 8:44stated the world is lurching towards the gold standard.
- 8:49These little things that happen in Zimbabwe, these big things
- 8:53that are happening in the BRICS countries, guys, the world is is
- 8:59by default going back to what real money is.
- 9:02There's some law, right? I forget what it's called.
- 9:04I don't think it's Gresham's law, but good money replaces the
- 9:08bad money. And I'm telling you that's what
- 9:10we're seeing right now. This is some unbelievably I
- 9:13thought this was one of the best pieces of analysis and it's
- 9:16fast, but they're talking about $8000 gold.
- 9:21This is from FX Empire Gold Price Forecast.
- 9:24The bull run in gold miners. But don't worry guys, this this
- 9:28covers silver, platinum, and the mining stocks.
- 9:31And this is short but powerful. A couple really cool grass they
- 9:35have in here. After years of going nowhere,
- 9:38Gold launched into the next stage of its bull market.
- 9:41While the inexperienced investor might feel inclined to
- 9:45capitalize on recent profits, such a move could prove
- 9:48detrimental in the long run. Gold and silver miners have
- 9:52underperformed the metal for years.
- 9:54Recent evidence suggests that they may be that may be changing
- 9:58now. This is interesting.
- 10:00The gold cycle indicator. It says our gold cycle indicator
- 10:06finished at 2:36. We hedge our mining portfolio
- 10:11once it advances above 350. Let me see if I can pull this up
- 10:17for you, which I can, OK. This really cool little wheel,
- 10:21that's their gold cycle indicator is still on neutral
- 10:26guys. OK, It's got a long way to go.
- 10:30Imagine that dial getting turned to the right and that's when it
- 10:33would be in the topping phase, minimum and maximum.
- 10:38They're saying there's still a long, long way to go for for the
- 10:42gold price. And you know what?
- 10:44That means. The same thing for silver.
- 10:46But don't worry, they talk about silver down here as well.
- 10:50So let's see what they had to say about our friend silver.
- 10:54We'll get to that gold monthly. The monthly gold chart confirmed
- 10:58a major breakout, and we think prices could test $3000 in 2024.
- 11:06I think Citibank agrees with them.
- 11:08And I'm telling you, that's 5055.
- 11:11I mean, silver goes, it's gonna really go $5560 silver by 20-30.
- 11:19Sit down. All right, hold on to your
- 11:21socks, 'cause they're they might get knocked off here by 20-30.
- 11:25We see prices trading over $8000 and again guys, here is why I
- 11:31think this is a great chart when we look at this is gold, right,
- 11:35going all the way back to what, 1994.
- 11:37Up, up, up, up, up. Here we are in 2011, right about
- 11:422000 we do the big cup. OK.
- 11:45Up till what was that, 2021, right?
- 11:48That's the That's the cup. Here's the handle and we have
- 11:53broken out right. This is the most powerful, the
- 11:57most reliable technical chart pattern in the.
- 12:00History of the. Universe.
- 12:03Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but it is very
- 12:06highly regarded and some people do call it and they also, here's
- 12:10the critical thing when you're looking at this cup and handle
- 12:13in gold is that it happened over such a long period of time, 14
- 12:17years. And the longer the period of
- 12:20time, the more reliable and the more powerful the move is and
- 12:24we're seeing that right here. Do you like the looks of this
- 12:27blue? Line that goes up to 8000 by
- 12:312030. Let's get rid of the question
- 12:33mark. I'll cover it up with my little
- 12:34pointer there. There we go by 2030 in the near
- 12:41term, gold is consolidating. We got to remember that guys,
- 12:44right? We we could see a gold pull
- 12:46back. After spiking the 2450, we think
- 12:49prices could challenge 2500 before slipping into the next
- 12:54four months cycle low in mid June.
- 12:57So these guys are being realistic.
- 12:59They're saying we can see a pull back in the gold price by mid
- 13:03June all right now. Let's go to silver.
- 13:06Silver is taking a breather. After spiking above $29.00 we
- 13:10see the potential for a significant short squeeze above.
- 13:1430 exactly. I'm telling you, this is the
- 13:18most exciting metal on the face of the earth, right?
- 13:22I hear all types of the the guys out there.
- 13:25Gregory Mannarino, Who's the guy?
- 13:27Economic ninja. All the, all the.
- 13:32Everybody saying silver is the most undervalued asset on the
- 13:36face of the earth? And how many times have we
- 13:39talked? About the fact.
- 13:40That once once silver gets above 3032, it is a clear shot in my
- 13:47opinion. Don't make any financial
- 13:49decisions based on what I'm saying, but a clear shot up to
- 13:5350. Look, I talked about $2600 gold
- 13:57in May of this year and everybody thought we were crazy
- 14:01for talking about that. We are still within cannon shot
- 14:06of hitting that $2600 mark. And I'm telling you, when silver
- 14:10gets above that $32 in my mind is the for all intents and
- 14:16purposes the all time high. There just aren't a lot of
- 14:20people who bought silver at 38. Forty $45 per oz.
- 14:26Very few people waiting for silver to get up there so they
- 14:30can sell. That means there won't be
- 14:32sellers. That means silver investors, Can
- 14:35you imagine how would you feel if we had a silver price $10
- 14:39higher right now, right. You wouldn't be thinking about
- 14:41selling. You might think you'd be
- 14:43thinking about selling, but you wouldn't.
- 14:45No, nobody is. And my gosh, with everything
- 14:48going out on in the world with silver, the Chinese government
- 14:53telling their citizens that now would be a good time to start
- 14:56investing in silver. I heard somebody say the other
- 14:59day there's only 1.4 billion people in China.
- 15:04So imagine if everybody bought just one ounce.
- 15:06Oh oh, that would pretty much wipe out the world supply of
- 15:11silver that's created every year through mining and recycling
- 15:15efforts. I digress.
- 15:19Currently silver prices are consolidating ahead of next
- 15:22week's Fed announcement. What the Fed's going to talk No,
- 15:27isn't that what the Fed's good at talking?
- 15:29Platinum, We'll just touch on. Platinum here remains deeply
- 15:32undervalued, and we see prices trading at parity with gold
- 15:36later in the decade. Listen to this It says in the
- 15:39early 2000s, platinum prices were often double that of gold.
- 15:44That would be like almost $5000 platinum right now, but we know
- 15:48it's, last I checked. Still hovering below.
- 15:53Let's go check. Platinum's below 1000, right?
- 15:56Yeah, 941 per oz. Now let's talk about the mining
- 16:02stocks real quickly. The pattern in miners is
- 16:05remarkably symmetrical. The recent pullback in the GDX
- 16:08to 3250 appears to be complete, and we see miners taking the
- 16:13lead and outperforming metals from here.
- 16:16GDXJ, same thing. OK, OK.
- 16:20The big deal silver miners, right?
- 16:23Pretty much the same thing, guys.
- 16:25The big deal here to remember with the silver miners and the
- 16:29gold miners is they have not kept up with the massive price
- 16:33increases that we saw in gold in particular and silver.
- 16:39There's a big gap. Either the the metals have to
- 16:42come down or the miners are going to have to go up.
- 16:45And do you think the metals are gonna come down?
- 16:48They could, we could get some consolidation.
- 16:50But we don't care what this is. We know, we know that the future
- 16:54looks super bright for the metals, right.
- 16:57If we get this June consolidation, the gold bull
- 16:59market is in full swing and sub 2000 prices may be forever.
- 17:04In the past we talked, we talked about that months ago, right.
- 17:08We are probably never going to see a gold price that starts
- 17:12with A1 until we're talking about 10,000 per oz.
- 17:17Gold miners are on the move and have a lot of potential.
- 17:21Silver could rip to the upside once it gets above $30.00.
- 17:26I we agree with these people. This is from AG Thorson,
- 17:30apparently he was the author here from the FX Empire website.
- 17:34So I don't know guys, right? Am I alone in seeing this
- 17:40future? I mean it is unbelievable.
- 17:42Silver also broke out of this long term wedge.
- 17:46Remember the wedgie, right? Silver had been pushed.
- 17:49Is is broken out of that another big let's go Silver.
- 17:52Hi ho Silver. Oh wait, I love gold.
- 17:56I love gold mining stocks. But man, I love.
- 17:59Silver. Physical Silver.
- 18:01I know you guys do too. Let's talk about.
- 18:04Briefly. Big news the.
- 18:06Bank failed. We had a bank failure on Friday.
- 18:08Why do they always do it on Friday night?
- 18:10Why? Think about that.
- 18:13Do you think? Why isn't it funny?
- 18:15Isn't it a little suspicious to you?
- 18:17Never. You know things that I hate
- 18:19this, but I'm gonna say it. Things that make you go.
- 18:22You ever wonder why so many banks fail on Friday night after
- 18:27the market closes? Every single bank.
- 18:30I mean, what do they like? Takes them all week to tally up
- 18:33the numbers and say, you know what, you know what, We're
- 18:36broke. We better fail this bank.
- 18:40It's always Friday night. We had a not a huge bank, but a
- 18:44big regional bank go broke on Friday night.
- 18:47Two big things, right? Things that make you go home or
- 18:51home or whatever however you want to do it.
- 18:53Let's talk about this. Remember the BTFP, the bank term
- 18:58funding program went bye bye like a month and a half ago.
- 19:03All right guys, that was the bailout for all these banks that
- 19:07have all they're all well most of the banks out there are.
- 19:12I don't want to use insolve it. It's the only word I can use,
- 19:16right. They don't have enough money to
- 19:18cover all the deposits, not all the banks.
- 19:22I'm not trying to close this, but it's just a a reality.
- 19:25They say they do because, right. Because because they are able to
- 19:30to not realize their losses. They would.
- 19:33I'm telling you, it'd be like you telling your wife, hey, I'm
- 19:38going to take that 100,000 that we have we have in our bank and
- 19:42I'm going to transfer to a brokerage account and I'm going
- 19:44to buy XYZ company stock. And you buy the XYZ company
- 19:49stock. And then a year later, right,
- 19:52Instead of having 100 grand because you didn't make a good a
- 19:55good stock pick, it's instead of being worth 100, it's worth 60
- 19:59grand. And you're like, what?
- 20:00You know what, honey? We're just not going to.
- 20:02We're not going to realize it. We're not going to realize that
- 20:05we've lost that money. And that's fine, right?
- 20:07It'll come back. It always comes back, honey.
- 20:10It always comes back until your little, your honey or your
- 20:13husband, whatever. Doesn't matter.
- 20:15We have ladies that are watching us now.
- 20:17Says. Hey, I want to use that 100
- 20:19grand that we used to buy that stock to to to to remodel the
- 20:24house and you say, well, I got to tell you, we got a little
- 20:28trouble. I didn't, we didn't realize
- 20:31this, but that's that stock's only worth 60,000.
- 20:34That's exactly the situation that the banks are in.
- 20:38Now. I'm hearing different numbers,
- 20:40but I think according to the Fed or according to the FDIC,
- 20:43there's like 600 billion worth of unrealized losses sitting on
- 20:48bank balance sheets, maybe even higher than that.
- 20:52And the absolutely frightening thing is that rates are AT and
- 20:58we've looked at this chart too many times, but rates are at A
- 21:01at a point right now that are putting so much stress.
- 21:05Think about this. Think about this right The
- 21:08interest rates now are higher than they were fourteen months
- 21:12ago when we had like these massive bank failures where they
- 21:16had to create the BT. Are we heading?
- 21:18We could be heading into very, very, very scary times.
- 21:22OK, we are in. How does this make you feel as
- 21:26an American now? Hopefully this scares you.
- 21:29I don't want to come on here and you know, but we're being real.
- 21:33This is why you own silver and gold.
- 21:35We are in the exponential phase of a debt problem in the United
- 21:41States. Government Debt, corporate debt,
- 21:44consumer debt, anywhere you want to slice it or dice it, Auto
- 21:48debt, student loan debt, credit card debt, they all fit into the
- 21:51same big We are in the exponential phase.
- 21:55Is it any wonder? So now I want you to ponder this
- 21:58question. The gold price is exploding,
- 22:02huh? Right.
- 22:02We hear that, right? The gold price is exploding, but
- 22:06it's really exploding in foreign currencies in the United
- 22:10Kingdom, in Canada, right. Not just the dollar.
- 22:13OK, not just the dollar. It's, it's.
- 22:17But this is. And I'm, I got, I got, I got not
- 22:20yelled at, but this was brought up to me, and I've heard other
- 22:22people say this as well. It's not so much that the price
- 22:27of gold is exploding higher. It's the fact that these Fiat
- 22:31currencies are imploding right now. the US dollar, the yen,
- 22:37right? There's all kinds of craziness
- 22:39going on right now. With the Japanese yen, it hit
- 22:41like a 30. Four year low today.
- 22:43There's a little tidbit you can use when you go to the I bet
- 22:46you're gonna go to the club, the Country Club for lunch.
- 22:50You can tell your friend. Did you hear the yen?
- 22:53Is it a 34 year low against the dollar?
- 22:55Right. It's not that the gold price is
- 22:58going up and we don't even want to think of gold in terms of
- 23:01dollars or yen or EUR or silver. Same thing.
- 23:04No, we think of it in terms of Oz.
- 23:06But the reason why, when you do decide to price it in Unicorn
- 23:10fart, dust paper, Fiat, promissory, funny money, the
- 23:15list goes on and on, right? The reason it is going up so
- 23:18much is because those currencies are imploding.
- 23:22Rising gold is a symptom. Rising gold, measured in Fiat
- 23:26currency, is a symptom of failing currency or currencies.
- 23:32OK oh, hey, something so critical.
- 23:36I wanted to tell you about that. Oh, it's like it's like this.
- 23:39Think about it like this. I want you to think of three
- 23:42ships on the ocean. All of them are sinking.
- 23:46The SSUS dollar, the S S Japanese yen, and the S S Euro.
- 23:51Three ships, they all are taking on water.
- 23:55OK, but one of them sinking faster than the all of them.
- 23:58All. That's the yen, right?
- 24:00They're really in trouble. The yen ship is all the
- 24:02Japanese. Like, I'll get me off this boat,
- 24:04right? The Euro ship is also sinking.
- 24:07Not as fast as the in the dollar 'cause, you know, the dollar's
- 24:10strong. The dollar.
- 24:11This is this is. Mind blowing to me when I hear
- 24:15these, you know, CNBC people saying, well, the dollar's been
- 24:19so strong, right? So the dollar, the s s dollar
- 24:22ship is the ship that's sinking the slowest of all three of the
- 24:26ships, right? But this, this is, is, is, is,
- 24:31is, is good news for us precious metal investors because even
- 24:36though, even though right, the dollar's so strong, guess what's
- 24:41even stronger? The gold price and the silver
- 24:44price. And what does that tell you?
- 24:47What does that tell us? That tells us that in real terms
- 24:51real, not make believe. You know they're over in
- 24:54fantasyland over here. Oh, the dollar, the yen, blah,
- 24:57blah, blah. In real world, that's where we
- 25:00are, baby. You're in the basement.
- 25:02We're in the real world. The dollar is losing value in
- 25:06real terms. There's no other way to say it
- 25:09if the dollar is so quote UN quote strong.
- 25:12But the gold price is a little bit stronger and the silver
- 25:16price lately. A little bit lap, bit stronger.
- 25:20That can only mean one thing, right?
- 25:22Gold and silver are the king. All right, we got a lot more to
- 25:25talk about the world. Oh, we got, we got, we have.
- 25:29What's the word? I wrote down rebellion.
- 25:32We have rebellion within the world of central banks, right?
- 25:36That's also different. Right now I think it was
- 25:39Switzerland raised rates, things are falling apart, OK.
- 25:44And as the Fed is only now engaging in perception
- 25:49management, be ready, be ready for Wednesday.
- 25:52We're going to get, we're going to get a big dose of perception
- 25:55man higher for longer. We're going to Bah Bah and gold
- 25:59and silver are over there laughing, saying whatever.
- 26:01Jerome, you are in a sinking ship on the bottom of the ocean
- 26:06at this point. Right.
- 26:08Like Charlie Brown school teacher.
- 26:10That's that's what we're how we're going to listen to.
- 26:12What do you say? What do you say No, sorry.
- 26:16Right. We got to go to Charlie Brown
- 26:18math class. And when we do that and we apply
- 26:20basic mathematical principles to what's going on, it's not a good
- 26:24thing. OK, Be your own central banker.
- 26:28That's the solution for all of this, all right?
- 26:31If you if you realize that what's going on out there is a
- 26:35mirage, right? You can.
- 26:37You can own silver. You can own gold.
- 26:39That's the solution. You can be your own central.
- 26:43I mean, isn't it awesome, right? If you own some of it?
- 26:49How many? 200, yes.
- 26:51You. Do.
- 26:52OK, I gotta ring the cowbell. And then we're gonna talk about
- 26:55how you can be your own central banker 200 thumbs up.
- 26:58Let's ring the bell. There's the 200 thumbs up bell
- 27:05from our old friend Joe F Isn't it wonderful?
- 27:09You can you can do what the central banks around the world
- 27:13are doing. Sometimes we get so lost in the
- 27:16minutiae of all of this, we forget the good news.
- 27:21Right? You can go to Pimbex, You can
- 27:24buy some silver, You can buy some gold, You can buy some
- 27:26plant. You can do what?
- 27:28The central banks are doing. You can do it for yourself if
- 27:32that's what you think is a smart thing to do.
- 27:34I'm not giving financial advice. I can tell you what I do right
- 27:38now. I own gold mining stocks and I
- 27:40own some silver. I don't keep it at the house,
- 27:43but none the less I do own physical silver now, guys.
- 27:46You can do that too. That's the the solution to all
- 27:50of this, if that's what you choose to do.
- 27:53All right. Oh, this is interesting.
- 27:57We talk about massive amounts of money coming into gold and
- 28:02silver when people wake up, right?
- 28:04Five times as much money, 10 times, who knows?
- 28:07We could see 20 times as much money because the amount of
- 28:11money in the West going into gold and silver right now is
- 28:14pretty subdued. We will say, right?
- 28:17It's a different story in China, India, the rest of the world.
- 28:20But in the West, it's pretty it's fairly subdued.
- 28:24One of the big drivers, right? There's a couple of big drivers.
- 28:29And when people wake up, then inflation's not going away, when
- 28:32people wake up that we are screwed.
- 28:36I think I can use that word from a financial debt perspective in
- 28:40this country. But one of the biggies for the
- 28:44average people is when they realize that the stock market is
- 28:49toast, right. People had been asleep in this
- 28:53country for the last 2530 years. All you had to do was put money
- 28:56in the in the market and it just went up and up and up.
- 28:59And look, I'm Rich. I would put out there that maybe
- 29:03that's not the case. That.
- 29:04That maybe. Yeah, nominally right now.
- 29:07I mean, if I'd made a bunch of money in the stock market over
- 29:10the last 20-30 years, I'd be buying physical metal.
- 29:13I'd be buying, you know, monster boxes full of American Silver
- 29:17Eagles. I'd be converting right now
- 29:20because guys when we're in stagflation, the the stock
- 29:24market isn't going to go anywhere and it could even drop,
- 29:28right? And that could could prompt be
- 29:31one of the other big prompts where we see big amounts of
- 29:34money, right? Remember the extras pyramid
- 29:36coming down and going into silver and gold, It could be a
- 29:42massive impact on the price of the precious metals.
- 29:46So be prepared now that what we looked at earlier, the gold and
- 29:50silver stocks, they could do what happened during the 70s,
- 29:54they could outperform everything, right?
- 29:57I'm not, again I don't have a crystal ball, but when you look
- 30:01at where the silver and gold mining stocks are right now from
- 30:04a relative value perspective, they've got a lot of room and
- 30:08and from a pure fundamental perspective they have a lot of
- 30:11room to run. On that note, I want to say
- 30:14thank you to channel sponsor First Mining Gold, they're a
- 30:17gold development company. If you want gold in the ground
- 30:21that's in the permitting process.
- 30:23Massive multi million ounce projects, two of them in Canada
- 30:28that the big guys, the new monts of the world are going to need
- 30:31to be looking at as they try to refill their pipelines in the
- 30:35future. Go check out First Mining Gold
- 30:37at firstmininggold.com and Fortuna Silver.
- 30:41You know, what else can I say? For almost 20 years they've
- 30:44grown this company into AI. Won't say a juggernaut, but a
- 30:49big well performing mining company.
- 30:53They've got operations in Latin America, 2 silver mines, one big
- 30:57gold mine in Argentina, and they have this rapidly expanding
- 31:02operation in West Africa. They have a mine in Burkina Faso
- 31:06and a mine in Cote d'Ivoire, the Seguela mine, which is doing
- 31:10phenomenally well right now and an exciting development
- 31:14opportunity in Oh my gosh, Senegal.
- 31:17Almost forgot. Yeah, it's hard to remember all
- 31:19this stuff off the top of my mind.
- 31:20You can learn more about Fortuna at fortunasilver.com.
- 31:26The strong dollar. We talked about that, right?
- 31:29Look, if the dollar that this is what I forgot.
- 31:31I forgot to tell you something very, very critical about that
- 31:35strong dollar thing. Think about this, buttercup.
- 31:39If the dollar was so darn strong, right?
- 31:42If this. Where'd it go?
- 31:44I'll show you a strong dollar, right?
- 31:46My friend Gary sent me this. Hey, there's a dollar, right?
- 31:49Wrong. That's not a dollar.
- 31:52Look at the bottom. Can you read it?
- 31:54You may not be able to read it. Underneath where it says $1.00
- 31:57it says a $1.00 in silver payable to the bearer on demand.
- 32:06This is when the dollar was backed with silver.
- 32:09OK And it says at the top, this is very interesting.
- 32:12Right here above where it says the United States of America, it
- 32:16says this certifies that there is on deposit in the treasury of
- 32:23the United States of America and then it says $1.00 in silver
- 32:28payable to the bearer on demand. You could go to the bank with
- 32:33this baby. This was a real dollar.
- 32:35This was a strong dollar. This was the dollar that that
- 32:39that over 180 years allowed the United States to have the most,
- 32:45the, the, the, the biggest amount of economic growth in the
- 32:48history of the planet when it was backed by silver.
- 32:52This is not the strong dollar If this dollar, this paper dollar.
- 32:56Woo Hoo Yee wee. Right.
- 32:58Cannot. Oh, they they took that part
- 33:00off. See, look at the bottom.
- 33:02They took that part off. OK?
- 33:05If this dollar was so strong, huh?
- 33:08Right. If it really was strong, I got
- 33:10news for you. Silver would be at 14 bucks.
- 33:14Gold would be at 16112 hundred. You you remember those days?
- 33:19If the world has changed, you better wake up, realize it.
- 33:24The world has changed. You know who realized it?
- 33:26President Xi from China, Vladimir Putin from Russia.
- 33:31Yeah, MBS over in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Brazil, South Africa,
- 33:38they're all realizing that the world has changed.
- 33:40We are in a new, new paradigm, a new world.
- 33:44OK, it gets even better. We're gonna hear Wednesday from
- 33:49the Fed higher for longer. OK, yeah.
- 33:53You scare us. Don't scare us, Jerome.
- 33:55Well, let's get Jerome out here. Oh, here he is.
- 33:59Here. You ready?
- 34:02Higher for longer. Sorry, Jerome, back in your box.
- 34:07You're not scaring us anymore. OK, this is crazy.
- 34:12This is, this is something that well to not overuse the term a
- 34:18silver and gold investors, this should give us a case of a warm
- 34:21and fuzzies. Is that why we come together?
- 34:23Right. We're like, we're like all
- 34:25around a campfire together right now here in the basement, right.
- 34:29We're at Camp Silver, Camp Gold. Think about this, OK?
- 34:35the Fed is not just fighting a monetary crisis, which they are.
- 34:41The Fed's not just fighting against a fiscal crisis, which
- 34:46they are, OK, but they're also fighting geopolitical crisis.
- 34:52They are cooked. I'm sorry.
- 34:54They are the ship on the bottom of the ocean.
- 34:57OK, it's, I'm not saying we're going to be in doom land
- 35:00tomorrow or anything like that. But they are cooked.
- 35:03Don't fight the Fed. Have you heard that right?
- 35:06Remember that? You ever heard that saying?
- 35:08Don't fight the Fed. Don't fight the Fed.
- 35:10And you know what the reality is?
- 35:13You were fighting the Fed. If you if you were investing in
- 35:16silver and gold and miners, let's say 15 years ago, eight
- 35:22years ago, five years ago, even just three, we were fighting the
- 35:27Fed. But I got good news for you,
- 35:29Matt. Matt, double dose of the warm
- 35:32and fuzzies. Who doesn't like that?
- 35:33Right, it's. Who doesn't want you want to
- 35:35feel good? You can feel good, All right?
- 35:38You can feel good, OK? Because like I said, the Fed
- 35:41fighting monetary crisis, fiscal crisis, geopolitical crisis.
- 35:46Are there any more social crisis in the United States?
- 35:49Right. Massive uprisings on college
- 35:52campuses right now as we speak. OK, it's a Fed is in trouble.
- 35:57But on top of it all, OK, the big one that's gonna be helpful
- 36:02for you as a silver investor, as a gold investor, is that you're
- 36:06no longer fighting the Fed. It's hard to fight.
- 36:11It's hard to fight. Somebody who is now pretty much
- 36:16defenseless has been neutered. Is a good way to say it, right?
- 36:20They don't have the power they had five years ago, Heck, three
- 36:24years ago especially. Is that a word I get in trouble
- 36:29for using words that aren't words in particular, right?
- 36:33the Fed was way more powerful 20 years ago.
- 36:36They shot their load. They burnt through all their
- 36:39ammunition right Now think about it like this, right?
- 36:43Think about the Fed is like in a trench with a machine gun.
- 36:47They've been shooting, they're shooting in the air.
- 36:49They during the C19, they they they they've been blowing
- 36:53through all their ammunition, right?
- 36:54And then the people on the other side are like.
- 36:56Whoa. We need to be afraid of the Fed.
- 36:58We need to be afraid of the Fed. Now they're down to their last
- 37:01few bullets. So what are they going to do?
- 37:04What would you do if you were in a gunfight, right, And trench
- 37:07war and you were out of bullets? You might start yelling and
- 37:11screaming, saying you. Better give up.
- 37:13Or we're we. We're really gonna blow you up.
- 37:15Or you would use words. You would use perception
- 37:18management. You would use public relations,
- 37:22right. They used to be a bank.
- 37:27Yeah. He used to be a banker.
- 37:30He's a lawyer or something. I don't know.
- 37:32They're not that anymore, right When they were this backed by
- 37:37see that one it says there, right.
- 37:39They were a bank. They were real.
- 37:42Now they're just words and perception management, you know,
- 37:46So guys I got, it's like, it's like and I could be wrong,
- 37:52right? Susie will tell you I'm wrong
- 37:53about 28% of the time. But it's like a boxing match,
- 37:59right. And the Fed's been fighting and
- 38:00oh the Fed. The Fed's on the on the mat
- 38:03right now, OK? And and knocked out, right.
- 38:08Could come back right again, right?
- 38:10Could be Rocky. But the Fed's not Rocky Balboa.
- 38:14You know who? Rocky Balboa.
- 38:15Is don't you Rocky Balboa is gold and silver, huh?
- 38:21Yeah. Yeah.
- 38:22I wonder if we can get to 300 thumbs up today.
- 38:25Maybe Susie will let me know. On the walkie.
- 38:27Everybody say hi to Susie. We got a lot more to talk about.
- 38:30Susie. Hi.
- 38:32How many thumbs up we have? I hear her walking around.
- 38:35She's right above me. OK, oh, we got to talk about.
- 38:39We got to talk about the Hunt brothers.
- 38:41Hi everyone. Susie, how many thumbs up do we
- 38:46have? 3. 94 oh boy.
- 38:51Guys, all right, we're going to get the 300 thumbs up, which
- 38:53means we are going to ring the gong today.
- 38:55But let's talk about the Hunt Brothers in something.
- 38:58This is my oh, OK. This is, this is great.
- 39:01This is my friend Jamie, too. All right, let's go.
- 39:03Look. Let's go take a look at this.
- 39:05Hold on here. Here he is this guy, Jamie
- 39:10Carrasco. If you don't know him, you
- 39:13should follow him on Twitter. OK.
- 39:15He's a senior investment advisor and senior portfolio manager at
- 39:19Canaccord Genuity Financial. I'll be honest with you.
- 39:23I had the opportunity to spend a day with him.
- 39:26He's up in Toronto, one of the smartest guys in the room.
- 39:30Super smart guy, super funny. And I'll tell you a funny, a
- 39:34little funny story about something we did together in a
- 39:36minute, but let's talk about some serious business here, he
- 39:39says. Force majeure, which means, as I
- 39:42understand it, like the Comex and the LBMA saying get they
- 39:45give up the Comex broken broke. The LBMA broke is not about.
- 39:51If. But when when it does the price
- 39:55will finally inflate with with 40 years of credit.
- 40:02Thank you Susie credit pressure behind it.
- 40:04This I want to highlight this. OK force majeure is not about if
- 40:08but when but when the price will find.
- 40:12But when, sorry, when it does OK, the price will finally
- 40:17inflate. With 40 years of credit pressure
- 40:21being, I can't, I, I I I understand what he's saying.
- 40:25I'm going to do my best to explain it to you.
- 40:26Why this is like this is like the ultimate, the ultimate warm
- 40:32and fuzzy. I was going to use a different
- 40:34word. What that means is when the when
- 40:35it breaks, guys, we've got all this 40 years of money printing.
- 40:40Remember the other day I showed you how it was like the price of
- 40:45of of of the S&P or I don't know, It compared the price of
- 40:50silver in 1980 to the S&P. I'm sorry to the Dow Jones.
- 40:55And the Dow has gone. The Dow was 1000 at the time.
- 40:57The Dow is now 38,000. Since 1980, the Dow has gone up
- 41:0138 times, right? 40 years basically of of of
- 41:07credit pressure. That's what caused that money
- 41:10printing. But in that same time period,
- 41:13when the Dow went up 38 times, silver's down by 50 percent,
- 41:1840%, whatever. Now this is what's interesting
- 41:21then because Jamie shared this tweet from the chart, Deejen
- 41:26says the Hunt brothers cornered the cornered silver and made it
- 41:30go 10X. Think about this.
- 41:32Chinese and Indian demand is cornering the physical market
- 41:37right before our eyes and might force 1 billion ounces of naked
- 41:43paper shorts to potentially cover at massive losses.
- 41:48Hashtag silver squeeze for the ages now, but look at this.
- 41:53Let me hold on a second here guys, so we can see this full
- 42:00chart. There we go.
- 42:02Oh, here we are. It says here, this is back, this
- 42:05is 1980. The green arrow, the green box.
- 42:08Two brothers cornered the market.
- 42:10What happens when China and India's market corners the
- 42:13market? Right.
- 42:14There's the cup in silver. OK, And there is the handle.
- 42:20What happens? Thank you Jamie, for showing
- 42:23that. Jamie and I, this guy's not only
- 42:25super smart, but he's a super good 5 pin bowler as well.
- 42:31We we did some bowling. I was up in Toronto and we went
- 42:34up into northern Quebec to visit a gold mine one of first mining
- 42:36gold mines. And this guy Jamie, he can do
- 42:39magic in the 55 pin bowling alley.
- 42:44More importantly, he's not full of bowl.
- 42:47He knows what he's talking about when it comes when it comes to
- 42:51silver and gold. So thank you Jamie for that that
- 42:54great tweet, that great information.
- 42:58Oh, we got more, we got more, we got more.
- 43:00Hold on here. Let's go over to look at this is
- 43:04another one that will that will absolutely blow you away.
- 43:09Gold and gold miners as a percentage of total global
- 43:14assets. This is from Crescat Capital.
- 43:17OK. Guys, guys, this is what we
- 43:20talked about. What?
- 43:21Would you think? Take a step back.
- 43:23What would you think if we had 26 times the amount of money
- 43:30coming into gold and silver and the precious metal mining
- 43:34stocks? What do you think it would do to
- 43:35the gold price, the silver price, the platinum price, The
- 43:38price of any precious metal mining stock?
- 43:42Gold and gold miners as a percentage of total global
- 43:45assets. Look at this 28%, Nineteen 2120%
- 43:49Nineteen 3230% in 1948. Twenty 6% in 1981, 1% today.
- 44:03Wow. OK.
- 44:06Are are you? Are you?
- 44:08This almost seems. I'll be honest with you seem
- 44:11almost seems unbelievable to me, right?
- 44:14But we hear this from Rick rule from other people .5 percent 1%.
- 44:19Whatever the number is. Here's the crazy good news.
- 44:23We don't have to get to 26%. If we get to 5%. 5%.
- 44:30That's five times as much money going into the precious metal
- 44:35sector. And like Jamie just talked
- 44:37about, because there's been so much credit, expansion, paper,
- 44:42Unicorn fart dust, money created over the world.
- 44:46Over the last 40 years. That's in stocks, it's in bonds,
- 44:49it's in derivatives, it's in crypto, it's in all these
- 44:53different things. It's not going to take.
- 44:55It just takes a little bit of that money flowing into gold and
- 44:59silver for this number to go from 1% to 5%.
- 45:03I mean, it's real. This is, this is real.
- 45:07We could. Be right.
- 45:08We could be on the cusp of one of the greatest opportunities
- 45:13for wealth creation in the history of the world.
- 45:16I don't have a crystal ball. You need to do your own due
- 45:19diligence. But I can tell you I oh, yeah, I
- 45:22got to ring the gong. And then we got, we got one
- 45:24more. Then we got more More.
- 45:27That means, I'm sorry, it's just what I see, higher, higher,
- 45:33higher, higher prices for gold and silver.
- 45:36I'm going to ring the gong three times because we got 300 thumbs
- 45:40up and that's because of you. And you know what?
- 45:42I'm going to butter you up one more time.
- 45:43It is a big deal. All 800 of you who are joining
- 45:47right now on YouTube alone, but we're on Twitter and Facebook as
- 45:50well. Man, thank you for being here.
- 45:53Thanks for being part of the basement.
- 45:55Thanks for your input. Thanks for your comments in the
- 45:58comment section. It all matters.
- 46:00We got a great community of people here and it's really not
- 46:04possible without you. Now, I know I look kind of dumb
- 46:07when I do this, but you know, it's OK to look dumb just 10% of
- 46:12the time, one of the coolest things ever.
- 46:23All right, I've been good, right?
- 46:27I didn't say it. I didn't say it the whole live
- 46:30stream. I, I, I, I hope you've, you've
- 46:32recognized, but I gotta say it because it's the biggest thing
- 46:36going right now in the precious metals market and it will make
- 46:41all the difference as we go from having 1% of the world's try.
- 46:46For the train whistle today. OK, Susie wants me to try for
- 46:49the train whistle. So if you haven't given us a
- 46:51thumbs up, We're trying to get to 400 thumbs up so I can blow
- 46:55down the brain. Our good friend, right Just
- 46:58across the river. The wooden train whistle.
- 47:00If we get to 400 thumbs up. Yes, I guess I'll look even
- 47:04goofier than when I did the gong.
- 47:06I will blow the train whistle for you.
- 47:08But we'll see if we can get there.
- 47:10Susie really wants it. Susie, why don't you?
- 47:12Why don't you come on the walkie and and cheer everybody on for
- 47:15just one second? Here, tell them to please give a
- 47:17thumbs up over, please. Give a thumbs up so we can get
- 47:22the train with us. Please, please, please.
- 47:25OK. All right.
- 47:27The biggest thing in the world. You want to keep Susie happy, by
- 47:32the way. OK, so thumbs up.
- 47:33The biggest thing in the world. And I, the S word guys, this.
- 47:37I heard this said last night, and I was like, whoa.
- 47:40I mean, I was, I had to grab my socks because they were getting
- 47:44blown off. OK, commodities are exploding.
- 47:53Oil prices up. Cocoa prices up.
- 47:56Commodity. Now wait a minute, you say.
- 47:59Oh. Well, big deal, Ron.
- 48:00Big deal. It is a massive deal.
- 48:04Here's why. How can we not have runaway
- 48:09inflation when we have the commodities That and everything
- 48:14in the world that everything you see, Look around, Buttercup,
- 48:19look around your room where you are right now.
- 48:23Everything you look at was either grown or mined, right?
- 48:28Everything. All this plastic, all the metal
- 48:30inside here, all this wood here, this was grown.
- 48:34It's made out of wood, right? This was mined.
- 48:37This is made out of oil and metal and stuff like that.
- 48:41It's all exploding in prices. So how can you not have massive
- 48:50inflation? Think about that.
- 48:52Now plug that into a we have a very simple formula that we're
- 48:57going to talk about. OK, you got massive inflation
- 49:01coming, right? And the Fed can't control that
- 49:04427. Oh, we got.
- 49:07So I do do the whistle. I got to do the whistle.
- 49:10Whistle. OK, I'll do the whistle.
- 49:12One second. You plug that inflation into the
- 49:16equation, OK? And you plug in the other part
- 49:20of the equation over here, which is a stagnating economy.
- 49:25I got news for you. They closed down a Burger King
- 49:28by Six Flags in Saint Louis. They're closing restaurants
- 49:31down. Everybody you talk to that's in
- 49:34the business world will tell you that the that the economy is
- 49:39slowing down. But don't tell Joe, OK?
- 49:42Don't tell Joe. Right.
- 49:44So what does that mean while we have inflation going up in the
- 49:49economy going down? Boom, That's stagflation, right.
- 49:55And that is, I won't get Jerome out again.
- 49:58That's why you're going to hear nothing but a bunch of hot air
- 50:01later in the week. And that, my friends, is what
- 50:05makes the price of silver and gold explode on top of what
- 50:09we've already talked about, Jamie Dimon, himself the CEO of
- 50:15JP Morgan, recently, said. Right.
- 50:18He thinks that this stagflation that we're going to be heading
- 50:21into could be worse than the situation that we faced in the
- 50:2570s and the 70s. Boys and girls we didn't have.
- 50:28$34.8 trillion worth of debt. This is the biggest set up for
- 50:34medals that we're likely going to see in our lifetime.
- 50:37Hey, you guys have been awesome. I'm going to blow the old train
- 50:39whistle here four times as a sign of thank you and
- 50:42camaraderie. Thank you, Don.
- 50:44Huh. Down the brain.
- 50:46There it is. Huh.
- 50:47There's the whistle. Train whistle.
- 50:59Hey, have a great day. Thanks for being part of the
- 51:02basement. We are in for a fun ride, right?
- 51:05And I couldn't ask to be with a better group of people than you.
- 51:09Take it easy, be good to yourself and I'll see you.
